Very dissatisfied with this Samsung Dishwasher. Will never purchase one again. Very few features. Great size for loading a lot of dishes. Unfortunately, it doesnt clean them well. Great appearance! Bought it brand new at Lowes in October 2012. Within 60 days already not cleaning dishes well and called as it was under warranty. Screen was clogged with food of some sort. Worked for about 6 months and leaving white film on all glasses. Still does.

Bought a $3000. Samsung refrigerator from Lowes, and turned out to be junk. My son had bad luck with their hd tvs, and I should have known better. They are cheaply made, and overpriced garbage. And their support is even worse. I hope anyone that reads this are smart enough to take heed.

I have had some of the same bad experiences with Samsung products, so I decided to share my experience to help those facing the same problems as me. I have owned the top of the line dmt800RHS dishwasher for less than two years. Initially the only issue was that the dishes would not get clean enough, so I spoke to the Lowes sales person who told me to make sure the water was hot at the sink before I start my washer. Even though there is a heating element in the machine, this did seem to help. Then, we started to smell what a lot of you are complaining about. Finally, the last straw was this latest issue with the machine filling with water but not starting the wash cycle. It also drains okay. I took the washer outside and removed everything inside it. Dont worry, its not rocket science, you can do it too. Just take your time. What I found was a piece of calcium stuck between the impeller and deflector. The calcium had hardened on the heating elements. I had to remove trapped food from inside the screen. I believe that is where the smell is coming from. I laid the machine on its back and removed the white plastic cover on the bottom that has two screws. Use a flat tip screw driver to release the tabs. Once inside, use a pair of pliers to pinch and slide the clamp back to remove the black hose at about the middle of the washer bottom. Stand it upright and blast the interior with your garden hose. If you live with hard water and your heating coil is covered with calcium put the hose back on and in the upright position submerge the coil in a CLR/water mixture. It might be a good idea to use a dishwasher cleaner monthly to keep the odor and calcium down. I hope I helped someone.

After we bought it, we had to defrost every 4 months. Ice builds up on behind the refrigerator part. We had to take the cover off and de-ice. It made loud noises, smelled like chemical (like gas) every time you open the door. The tech said to put baking soda in it for 48 hours. Please, Im not stupid. We ordered a new fan motor for it off eBay for $40.00 and a new water filter for $35. Now, we wont need it because we will probably go buy a new one. Samsung is junk. Dont buy one! I couldnt believe all the bad reviews. I wish I had seen this first. The fridge should last 15-20 years. Our other cheapies were better than this $2,000.00 unit!

We have a Samsung French door with bottom freezer refrigerator manufactured
We have a Samsung French door with bottom freezer refrigerator manufactured in RF263TEAESR. It looks great, nice features, problem is, it was designed without a refrigerant valve to shift cooling between chilled regions, which would allow one side to defrost while the other cools. The lines become blocked with ice, the cooling coils freeze over, cooling becomes more difficult, and the ice builds up to the point where the circulation fan bangs the ice, making a serious noise. We have had the kit put on which is the fix from Samsung. It is designed to shut you up for a couple months and pick up a nice check for their factory authorized dealers. The kit does nothing. The second repair tech came and, for two hours and another $100, tore out the interior back wall, thawed out the lines with hot water, the coils with a heat gun and the vents on the back wall with warm water. He told me it would last no more than a couple months as the insulation gets saturated with water and, rather quickly, everything will refreeze. He was optimistic. Within two weeks it has once again frozen. The fan noise is beginning again and, because Samsung refuses to stand behind their products, this piece of garbage may shortly become the worlds largest paperweight. My advice, STAY AWAY FROM SAMSUNG products. They have made it obvious standing behind their products is not a priority.

I bought a Samsung French three door refrigerator. Ice maker froze over, major ice build up in the back panel of the unit. The fan began hitting the ice build up. I called Samsung, a representative told me parts and labor were covered for 5 years. Technician shows up and tells me the evaporator fan and defrost sensor are bad. Technician tells me those items are not covered. I called Samsung while the technician is here working on the unit. Samsung tells me again the units cooling system is covered under warranty. The technician tells me and the Samsung representative the parts are not covered. Samsung representative tells me the evaporator fan and sensor are not covered because they are not part of the cooling system. I watch the technician out sealer around the icemaker because the unit doesnt have a good seal. 326.00 it costs me to fix the unit. After 55 minutes on the phone, Samsung tells me they cannot help with the cost. I spoke with Dianna and Henderson in customer service. I WILL NOT BY ANOTHER SAMSUNG PRODUCT AGAIN.

Returned home after 3 hour absence to find my 3 year old Samsung microwave baking a non existent potato. The menu was flashing baking potato. I have no idea how long it was on and turning it off & on twice did not help. I ended up shutting down the fuse on the circuit board. Repairs totaled $175. Totally unacceptable. I am elderly and live alone so no question of excessive use. I wish I had seen this review forum first and I would not have repaired it at all. Very unhappy...

I have a 9 year old two door fridge, which when working is a great design. I find it hard to get a repair person to resolve a long-term noise in the fan. I now resort to using my hair-dryer blowing into the vents and this seems to de-ice the fan and hence the noise abates for a few months. Also sometimes the water dispenser decides not to dispense water... ugh! I am frustrated but these items cost a bomb, so I havent replaced it yet.

As soon as the warranty was up, one year, we began to get water and ice under the pantry drawer. Now the twin cooling fans have stopped working and therefore not cooling. The fridge is in a sleeve, walls on both sides, so we can’t get to the back of it to clean the coils, etc. It is too heavy for us to pull out. No repairman is willing to try and fix it sighting they are unable to get parts for Samsung fridges! These refrigerators are not cheap and Samsung seems to wash their hands of the problem. I will never recommend Samsung to anyone. They do not stand behind their product.

Thankfully I bought an extended warranty on my range because the 2nd time I used the self-cleaning mode ON THE DEFAULT SETTING, the control panel melted and the oven door would not open. It took weeks to get the replacement part with Sears Outlet calling and emailing scheduled appointment times that had not been cleared by me. But never mind the repair guy that is employed by Sears told me the part had not showed up on his doorstep yet. However, during 9 different calls over several hours during a 2 month time frame, Sears told me repair guy did not follow protocol so that caused delays. Of course when I told repair guy that he said they always try to pass blame. The 3 times repair guy came to my house he refused to give me any paperwork documenting his repair. He also told me never to use the self-clean mode. What? Why is it there? THEN the oven would not heat up to temperature, actually would only get to 100 degrees less, so the process started over again with repair guys BS and blaming Sears, all sorts of ridiculous information from both sides with promises NEVER being met. He finally installed a new thermometer and it still doesnt heat to temperature so I have to program it 25 degrees higher and wait 45 minutes longer than what the alert and temperature says on the control panel. In an argument with repair guy in my kitchen over my unreasonable expectation to have purchased a functioning product he accused me of only wanting to get a new oven. Imagine the gall of me actually expecting to have purchased a functioning product by a supposedly reliable name like Samsung. I am 71 years old and am old enough to know, from experience, what good customer service is. Repair guy is a grey hair and should know that too. But he is perfectly employed by a sub-standard company selling a very inferior product. And, although promised by his wife on one call, and his daughter on another, that I would get service orders and documentation emailed to me, it has never happened. What a waste of time and money, not to mention having to play stupid passive-aggressive games with a low in standards repair person. I am now afraid of fire after reading the rest of the reviews. Im surprised that Samsung hasnt been sued and ovens have not been recalled. I mean really surprised. My oven is barely 2 years old. In any other electrical stove/oven I have ever owned I have NEVER had a problem with self-clean.

Sumsungs excellent customer service is a customer’s nightmare. Here is our experience: 2 days before X-Mas 2014 our 3 month old fridge model RS22HDHPNSR stopped cooling properly 2 days later it stopped all together but the temperature readout did not indicate a problem and remained at the normal settings. 12-24-14 called Samsung customer service gave all of our info: Name address, phone #, e-mail address. Was instructed to reset thermostat, called back after a few hours to inform Samsung that unit was still not cooling. Advised that a repair service would come in 1 to 2 days to take care of problem. 12-27-14 After several hours working on our fridge repairman told us that the unit suffered a major failure and parts would need to be ordered. We contacted Samsung same day again had to repeat all of our personal info and we now requested a replacement for our 3 month old unit. Thats when the nightmare really began. We did not hear from Samsung and had to call daily for updates. Each time we received a new ticket # and were told our request was in review. On 1-2-2015 we were informed that our request for replacement was denied because replacement parts were in. On 1-7-2015 After 2 repairmen hammered and soldered for 3 hours on our fridge in the kitchen they could not fix it needed more parts. Again we called Samsung requesting a replacement and again never received any updates. On 1-9-2015 finally got through to a supervisor who than told us after speaking with another supervisor that our request for replacement had been denied a second time, because the additional parts are in. On 1-13-2015 after 3 more hours working and banging our fridge it was working. After a 3 week long ordeal of no refrigerator/freezer, uncounted hours spent on use less phone calls speaking to a total of 36 Samsung employees we have a rebuilt Samsung refrigerator. Samsung Excellence Customer Service??? You decide.

In 2012 my wife and I bought matching Samsung appliances for our kitchen and they were considered top of the line. Within 6 months our ice maker began freezing up, then within a year quit working altogether. Samsung couldnt find anyone in the area to fix it and said they would contact us when they did. Never heard back. Within 18 months it started making horrible noises. Found out frost was building up in the back and we would have to defrost, otherwise the fan would burn out. So every six months we did defrosting of our frost free fridge. Now 6 years in it has died and the repair shops said it wasnt worth fixing. My dishwasher died within 3 years, the microwave about the same time and the stove went out twice before I replaced it a year ago. Take the advice. Do not buy Samsung kitchen appliances.

The dishwasher repair was so expensive I elected to buy a new Kenmore. The refrigerator nightmare has been going on for 3 months with Samsung customer no service. These people jerked me around for 3 months (over 20 hours talking with them to fix the problem). My advice is do NOT allow Samsung to send out a repairman. Samsung will tell you its covered (as did the repairman) but when the job is complete you will be charged. I then got stuck with a large bill. The Samsung French doors, freezer on bottom refrigerator sometimes keeps things cold, and sometimes doesnt. The temperature read-out always, always says 37 degrees F, but thats not true. The compressor overheats causing ice build-up in the vents, causing the temperature to rise even though it still says 37 degrees! Food must be removed and the fridge thawed. This has happened multiple times over the course of three years! This is not just a one in a million lemon. This is a DEFECT that others have experienced, and Samsung is aware of it. First off, I would like to say I never take the time to write out a review regarding a item. This just shows how unsatisfied I am with my purchase. I would definitely not recommend this product to anyone. Do not buy any SAMSUNG product. The customer service reps do not offer any customer service. They do not know how to treat customers even after the crap their company has released in the recent years. Lets not forget about the blowing up of the cell phones and laundry machines. My complaint is about their refrigerators and how I have spent over $600 trying to fix the ice dispenser. The ice dispenser freezes up and does not slide out. It seems like the fridge is leaking water and causing the entire tray to freeze. The ice cubes are not in proper ice cube form. The ice cubes look like slushy. I complained to the customer service rep and their answer regarding my complaint was Sorry your item has passed the 1 year warranty for parts. I told the rep there are over 2000 complaints about this ice dispenser on the internet. I previously owned a GE profile refrigerator for over 17 years and never had one issue with it! The customer rep told me they do not go by the complaints on the internet for their products. I asked if they had any other solution and the rep told me once again Sorry the product has passed the one year warranty for the replacement items. If the company cannot offer a solution for their defective products, I will not ever in my life purchase a Samsung product. I will make sure I make this clear to all of my family members and friends. I have had this refrigerator for only a little over 2 years. Samsung teach your service reps how to resolve issues and test your products before releasing them. You shouldnt be telling your customers to fix a problem and have them pay $300 to get it fixed. Even your crappy service reps dont have a solution for your defective products. I am a very unsatisfied customer. I will have to go buy a new refrigerator since this issue is not being resolved.

Since we purchased a Samsung refrigerator in 2002 we have had two different issues with the unit, the first related to a $450.00 electronics card that controlled the temperature. Lost everything in the refrigerator and was compensated by manufacturer for half the loss. The card was covered under warranty. Before the repairman left we were advised to purchase an extended warranty for $500.00 which covered parts and labor for the next 3 years. I declined. About a month ago the ice maker stopped working. After assessment by Samsungs repair service he said the only repair was replacement of the ice maker, of which they had many on the truck. Hmmm? Cost of parts and repair....$450.00. I said no and paid $50.00 for the house call and ordered the $120.00 ice maker from RepairClinic.com and replaced it myself in 10 minutes with the help of a Youtube video. My point... $3,000.00 Samsung refrigerators are designed to fail in two to three years so they can charge you $400.00 for the replacement of a $50.00 part. This is part of their business plan. You will be surprised how much money you can save by purchasing the part from an online parts supplier and getting installation instructions off Youtube.

This refrigerator has been nothing but a problem. After 3 years, we had to entirely replace the ice maker for over $200 in repairs (not covered by warranty). After 5 years, we had to repair the water dispenser. At exactly, 5 years and 4 months, the freezer died, 1 week later, the refrigerator died. It is out of warranty and Samsung does not provide any support. In our county, there is no longer a Samsung certified repair shop. No one will even touch it. Samsung finally referred us to A&E factory service, more than 40 miles away. They came out to do the diagnostic today (2 weeks after the freezer failed). The repairs for the broken evaporator are over $700. This was a $1,500 fridge purchased at Best Buy. Samsung has been very disappointing. They are not willing to cover anything or provide product support. Will not buy from them again.

I bought Samsung dishwasher, Model# DWF600UTW/AA. While still it is under warranty service, there was a problem with run ending in the middle and light started flashing. I called for service. The service person pulled out the dishwasher, and pushed it back very hard. When he left, I started the run, and dishwasher leaked all over and water puddled in the basement. There was not just the damage in the basement, but I had to re-install the dishwasher again with my own money. I never had leak before, the service person caused it, and Samsung doesnt want to pay the damages. The standard answer is, warranty is on the equipment parts and not the installation. Although their service person caused it! Another thing, if there is a damage-claim, Samsung transfers you to corporate affairs. They make you wait on the phone for hours! I strongly will advice anyone, not to buy their equipment, because if something goes wrong, this company doesnt take the responsibility. Neither they have a good warranty service.

We purchased our Samsung refrigerator 4 years ago as new homeowners. Towards the beginning of July this year, we started having issues with the freezer not keeping things frozen - ice cream melting, meat thawing, etc. After trying the recommendations in the manual and unplugging it to reset it per Samsung, it seemed like our problem was fixed... for about a week. So I called Samsung again. On July 21, a technician from one of their service centers, MidAmerica, came out and discovered our sealed refrigeration system was leaking (evaporator & compressor - attached is a picture of the evaporator; all the coils are supposed to be covered in ice and only the top one of ours is due to the loss of coolant)... he also informed us that the sealed refrigeration system was still under warranty (5 year warranty stated in manual). However, he couldnt fix it because he supposedly just moved to our state and didnt have the insurance/licensure to carry the parts... a little fishy, but he said we should be able to call Samsung and they will find a trained technician to fix it. Turns out - Samsung has no trained technicians for sealed refrigeration systems in our area, so they told us to find our own and they will reimburse us but only if the technician we found diagnosed the same problem... okay? So we call Mr. Appliance and they were fantastic! They came out on 7/30. They diagnosed the SAME problem but stated it would be over $2000 to fix it. They also informed us it was probably only a matter of time until our fresh food side stopped keeping things cool too. We were shocked. The refrigerator did not even cost that much to begin with and we also dont have $2000 lying around. So I contact Samsung again, spoke with a girl named Brady. I offered to email her the quote as well as our proof of purchase to show that it seemed ridiculous that we were going to repair a refrigerator under a manufacturers warranty for more than it was worth when we bought it. She put me on hold for a brief moment and came back to say we just needed to pay it and Samsung would reimburse us (mind you, there has never been anything in writing stating they would reimburse us... theyre expecting us to just go on their word). Refused to let me email the quote to them and also refused to let me speak to a supervisor about the issue. She stated a supervisor would email me... which never happened. In the meantime, we called Mr. Appliance about ordering the parts and they stated it would probably take over a month to get the compressor from Samsung... so my fiance calls Samsung to inform them of this. In our minds, it should not take a month (possibly longer) to get a warranty issue fixed! Asks to speak to a supervisor, on the phone for over an hour and talks to three separate people who are not supervisors and just keep saying its their policy to have us pay this exorbitant amount of money and expect them to reimburse us. We suggested that they just replace the refrigerator - they keep indirectly saying they will find a way to get the issue resolved. They say a supervisor will call us back in 24-48 hours... we wait 3 business days and havent heard anything, so I call them on 8/6. I spoke with Michael, who was very nice and genuinely seemed shocked that it was taking this long to get this fixed. He actually wanted me to email him the receipts and proof of purchase unlike Brady and stated they would be calling Mr. Appliance since they were the only people who said they could truly fix it. We were relieved. This was short-lived however because the next day they assign our ticket to MidAmerica AGAIN and some other local company (J&D) who had already told us they dont have someone trained in sealed refrigeration systems. By this time, I am irate. I call again and tell them to refer to the images of the receipts I sent, associated with the ticket number from my phone call on 8/6 with Michael. Gregory tells me there are no images with that ticket number. I felt like I was going crazy! These people are ridiculous. They are like robots every time you call - there is no history of ongoing issues, they close ticket numbers before the problem is resolved and just open a new one every time. They give you the run-around and obviously no one truly cares about resolving your problem. I submitted the images again and am still waiting on another phone call. If this product wasnt still under a manufacturers warranty, I wouldve been done weeks ago. It has affected our quality of life from the stress and time weve put into this and weve spent more money than anticipated on going out to eat and frequent grocery trips for fresh food. I feel defeated. I wish there was a no star option. It is somewhat comforting to see that so many other people have had issues with their Samsung refrigerators, as well as their customer service department, but also so unfortunate. I would NOT recommend any of their products to anyone at this point. I would never want anyone else to go through this like we have. Please consider this review (I know its long - sorry! ), as well as all the others, before purchasing a Samsung product.

We bought our Samsung fridge with icemaker in 2015 and loved the design for storage. We had several issues with defrosting and the fridge developing ice and the back and freezing food. We started to take a day once a year to defrost it over 24 hours and it worked for a couple years but we called it this year. It froze up again (early this year) and we defrosted it again but it never got back to properly keeping our food cool but not frozen. Our local repair person told us he wouldnt waste our time because hes gone to service Samsung fridges many times and bought new parts but it never helped. When we had our new fridge delivered the delivery person commented that theyve removed mostly Samsung fridges from peoples homes. They look good but not worth it. Ours lasted 6 years! Thats not long for over $2,000.00. Not to mention the environmental impact!

Our experience with the Samsung refrigerator (French doors, bottom freezer, ice/water in door) has been a big disappointment. The ice-maker never worked well - the ice gets wet then freezes over. The refrigerator coils accumulate frost and ice and the fan starts to rattle and eventually die when it hits the ice. An appliance repair company replaced the evaporator cover to create a new seal, and installed a new drain kit ($400), but only 3 1/2 weeks later the same problem occurred. They came out again to defrost it, but said they would not service this refrigerator after that - that it is a design defect that Samsung should recall. Three weeks later, the same problem occurred, over Christmas with a house full of family and a refrigerator full of food. I called Samsung but they wont do anything about it. Samsung, if youre reading this, you may think youre saving money in the short run, but in the long run, your customers are falling away like flies. I strongly discourage anyone from buying Samsung refrigerators, and I will no longer buy Samsung products of any kind.

I have bought Samsung refrigerator model RT37K3763S. This so called refrigerator cost me 37750 K in year 2016. Only first few days it worked fine. Then Ive started accumulating everywhere in freezer, its ducts and cooling for lower section gone. They changed the door in first few months. Now its one year and out of warranty.I have same complaint after every 15 days. Standard answer is shut it down for 24 hrs... Then someone comes and changes the sensor... Someone comes and fixes the gasket... I have got loads of food wasted because this fridge just stops cooling after every few days. Multiple complaints with Samsung. They are not ready to accept that its a faulty product. I feel completely cheated with this product and service. The company doesnt even know what the root cause of this issue is... Very poor service.

I purchased a Samsung Refrigerator in 2013. 2-Door Side By Side with Model # RS263TD1BP. This refrigerator was manufactured in 2012 which has a design problem. Ice builds around the cooling coils which allows the refrigerator to completely shutdown. The refrigerator only maintains temperatures at the bottom, and is hot throughout all levels of the unit. Apparently the sensor that is attached to the cooling system which does not regulate the system to adjust after it reaches a certain temperature. A service repairman removed the back panel and had to take a steamer to defrost the ice. It took over 55 minutes to defrost the ice and replace the back panel. This is a design and manufacturing problem. Samsung knew that this problem exist, but continues to put this product on the market for customers to purchase. The warranty states that this should be covered, but Samsung refuses to acknowledge that this issue is not covered, and is left up to the customer to pay for their mistake. I have contacted Samsung over 25 times, and cant get to the Executive Level. I am sharing my level of frustration because the average lifetime of any household appliance should be longer than 3 years. Refrigerators are suppose to last. This is a design problem and all of these refrigerators should be RECALLED! Customers that purchased the SAMSUNG REFRIGERATOR THAT HAS THE BOTTOM PULL OUT FREEZER EXPERIENCE THIS PROBLEM several years ago and their units were replaced. Apparently, the problem is now existing in the 2-door side by side units as well.THERE IS A MALFUNCTION WITH THE COOLING SYSTEM. ICE BUILDS UP AROUND THE COPPER COILS WHICH CAUSES THE REFRIGERATOR TO stop regulating temperatures evenly throughout the refrigerator. The top and middle of the refrigerator is extremely hot and the bottom is extremely cold. Samsung should issue a recall of these appliances because they knew it was defected before putting these refrigerators on the market.Samsung Refrigerators are not constructed very well and apparently, this product does not have longevity. Too many consumers are complaining about this particular product. If complaints are being made, Samsung is aware of this malfunction and should take total responsibility and implement a recall. Samsung knew that this product was defective. A refrigerator is a household appliance that should last about on the average of 15-20 years. I sought out to buy a new refrigerator, a Samsung not because of need but desire. I was remodeling my kitchen, and I owned an Amana for 17 years. AND - this refrigerator never had one problem.

I remodeled my kitchen 4 years ago and purchased all new Samsung appliances. They were magnificent looking! However, the microwave touch panel malfunctioned after just a few months and went completely black... no lights. Samsung repaired it due to a recall on the panel. Now four years later it is out again! I had to purchase a new microwave today... NOT SAMSUNG. The range already has one malfunctioning burner so now Im down to 3 burners. The refrigerators ice maker stopped working after 7 months.... cost $450 to replace. Samsung only guarantees the ice maker for 5-6 months. Only Samsung repair people can fix your appliances because no one else can get the necessary parts, so the repair charge is double that of other appliance repair businesses. The dishwasher cleans horribly and leaves grit in EVERY glass/cup. The welded stainless steel walls of the dishwasher came apart and my husband had to repair them with rivets. I refuse to spend another dime repairing Samsung products. I will gradually replace them when they break completely. STAY AWAY FROM SAMSUNG!!!

Warning! Do not waste your money purchasing this colossal pile of garbage (5.8 cu. ft. Slide-In Induction Chef Collection Range NE58H9970WS). It rarely bakes/cooks evenly and it will frequently and rapidly overheat causing your food to burn and ultimately fry the electrical panel. Upon calling Samsung the only assistance they were able to provide was how to spend more of my money on their faulty product. Samsung takes zero responsibility for what is clearly a common issue with these oven ranges. As it stands my options are to spend $$ on a new electrical panel and the cost incurred on its installation and the additional fix-it repair to stop the oven from constantly overheating, or throw the darn thing away. Im going with the latter of the two. I will never purchase anything from Samsung again. If I could give is NEGATIVE STARS I would.

I have the Samsung RF267AEBP purchased from Sears ($2,100+) 01/02/2011. Shortly after the basic 1-year warranty ran out, the unit began routinely freezing up due to the known failure of the defrost cycle and/or heating coils and sensors malfunctioning. When the ice builds up over time, it locks up the fan motor from the glacier of ice (sounds horrible like a screech owl). Like others on this post and all over the Internet, I have to force the RF267AEBP into a manual defrost; when the ice melts, it fills the space under the Deli/Crisper drawer with water. The first time this happened, we did not realize that the ice could not drain normally due to a defective drain (Note: The defrost water drain has been reported to be too short to drain properly after the refrigerator goes through a defrost cycle). So, after turning the unit back on, the backed up water that pools under the Deli/Crisper drawer freezes into a solid two feet by one inch sheet of ice! Not knowing what was going on, we could not get the Deli/Crisper opened without pulling very hard on it and that brought the entire sheet of ice out and onto the kitchen floor, creating one big dangerous mess! Now, the ice maker is making loud clicking and banging sounds, and the ice maker has malfunctioned too with inconsistent delivery of odd sized ice cubes (more like chunks of ice) and it, too, now freezes up. We have regularly replaced the filter (@ $30+ each) that does basically nothing but filter water for the ice maker and the water dispenser. This has been the most frustrating and expensive major appliance ownership experience I have ever had with a major appliance in over 40+ years of home ownership.Samsung, you should provide us customers that have suffered through the purchase and repair of this known defective refrigerator full refunds for these known manufacturer defective refrigerators and/or provide a totally brand new replacement of equal value regardless of the customer’s choice. This is an expensive major appliance and we should not be having these problems that are clearly a quality control problem of widespread proportions. If I am not contacted by your warranty and customer relations department with a satisfactory resolution, I will be forced to sign on to the class action suit and add my model to the long and growing list of models already posted on the website. I will also have my day in small claims court for not just the cost of the defective refrigerator, but also for the spoiled food cost of replacement, labor and repair cost, and my lost work/wages due to having to take off work to deal with the overall malfunctioning of your Samsung RF267AEBP.By the way, my paperwork from Samsung that came with my refrigerator clearly states, Your Satisfaction is Samsungs # 1 Priority - Do not return to store. Well, Samsung, here is your opportunity to step up and simply do the right thing, especially since you are on record claiming that my satisfaction is Samsungs #1 priority.

We paid premium dollars for this fridge and every 2 weeks we need to remove the ice build up in the ice maker within the refrigerator. This is a well known issue and Samsung even put out a service bulletin but they want me to take the cost for a design flaw. Months of frustration with a ridiculous repair process. We purchased a Samsung electric range as part of a package of appliances from Lowes for our home in Florida in July of 2016. We soon learned that the temperature in the oven was not being maintained properly. We found out that Lowes would not replace and that we needed to go through Samsung for repairs. We have now have had repair people visit 7 times and have had all electrical components replaced three times. Meantime we do not have an oven that works and have wasted all that time dealing with repair people and service technicians at Samsung that do not have a clue. Hundreds of reviews have been written regarding the same issue with these ovens. I am ready to take part in a class action suit/massive recall effort to force the miserably incompetent people at Samsung (think Galaxy Seven Smart Phone) to take appropriate action. In related items we separately purchased a Samsung TV that randomly failed after just two weeks while no one was in the room. Thankfully, Best Buy (unlike Lowes) took a stand and replaced the unit free of charge. Lastly, a craftsman was working at our house and overheard a conversation that I was having with Samsung one day. He told me that he had been a Samsung repair person for four years and finally quit his position because the processes and information that Samsung uses were so bad he was embarrassed. Im not sure if Dr. Oh-Hyun Kwon is still the CEO of Samsung, but he should be the most embarrassed of anyone. Under his leadership a once honored company is now an incompetent laughing stock. What a horrible legacy!

A&E Factory Service is the service provider and will be contacting you for a resolution within 5-7 days. Today is the 7th day and no response. We have had 7-8 service calls on this refrigerator 7 for the same problem. When we called for service the second time, Lowes informed us that the Service technician would determine whether or not the service call is covered under the warranty, this made us hesitant to keep calling on the same problem. We still have no ice and only promises from Lowes that Service Advantage would contact us. (Isnt that similar to asking the fox to check the hen house to see if any chickens are missing?) We contacted Service Advantage 8 times, repairs made 8 times, nothing worked. We were told by Lowes store manager that after 7 calls on the same problem the item would be declared a lemon. To Tim Baxter or anyone else that cares about Samsungs reputation and how their terrible customer service and falsely advertised products, dont settle well with the consumer. I am at my wits end with your company and its appalling customer service! For 4 months now Ive tried to get your company to take ownership for a refrigerator it sold us, that claimed to offer a Flex Zone with 4 temp settings, all the way down to -1 Celsius. Tim, we both went to High-school at took basic science classes, but the techs and people in your Office of the President all seem to have either not taken the class or failed it. My wife and I have had food spoiling in that drawer for months, because it will NOT freeze as it should given that 0 degrees Celsius is freezing, therefore anything colder that zero is at least capable of freezing. Well nothing freezes in that drawer. Ive had 3 service people come out, who all are being told the same thing from Samsung that I am being told, which is that the refrigerator works as it should. Tim, please explain to me how its working as it should when food does not freeze in a drawer that offers a -1 degree Celsius setting. Your office of the president, at 888-480-5675 and Loshanda at extension **, has ignored 7 messages I have left for her with the receptionist, and two voicemails. She literally has decided to blow me off. The last time she called me, before Thanksgiving, she told me that Mr. ** its not supposed to freeze, since -1 degrees Celsius is also 29 degrees Fahrenheit, therefore its 29 degrees above freezing... I was without a reply for a few minutes. How do you politely tell a person that they dont know that Celsius and Fahrenheit both measure temperatures, and that -1 Celsius and 29 Fahrenheit are the same below freezing temperature. After Loshandas obvious failure to care to call me back anymore, because she believes its working fine, I called and asked for a supervisor in your Office of the President. Ive been told twice there is no such thing, that I just have to leave a message for Loshanda to call me back. I’ve done that once a week for 7 weeks. I’m exhausted and utterly disgusted with the horrible service from your company. I dont know which is worse, that your techs believe -1 degrees Celsius is not supposed to freeze the food, or that your Office of the Preside could care less at this point, after my wife and I have lost hundreds of dollars in food that has gone bad, Ive wasted hours with techs coming out telling me the same thing, and more hours on the phone talking to your general Samsung support line that offers no help but to suggest I have yet another tech come out, who will waste all our time again. Tim, my wife and I own thousands of dollars in merchandise from you all, from phones, to BluRay players, to TVs etc. Is this how I should be treated? I want Loshanda at least reprimanded or at best fired, and I want and deeply hope for your help in resolving this matter. Your refrigerator does not do as it was sold to do, its that simple. And I need this fixed. Please Tim. Ive left voicemails for others in your Office of the President, they too have ignored me.

This model I have was the worst engineered product that has been seen on the market. Samsungs have all the bells and whistles, great novel my useful designs but the quality is not up to the price asked. The repairman said they tried for three years to fix the ice buildup problem and finally got it right after three years. I find that I still see ice, though it has not stopped cooling but it feels like skating on thin ice and that it will break again at any given moment. JCPenney now has appliances and they are phasing out selling Samsung. The enameled on their stoves is so thin. As is the paint on the refrigerator. I wont buy this brand again. The new features are always enticing with this brand but dont fall for it. By the way read about the problems And complaints before you read the glowing reviews about any appliance and always buy the extended warranty if you cant afford a big repair bill visit. Most appliances the repair person told me appliances need a repair in 1 1/2 years to 3 years. They just dont make them like they use to. And dont think high end and huge price is also an indication of quality, it just may be a status brand.

I called Samsung and they sent a tech out a few days later. The tech said it was the computer. The Fire Marshall also agreed that the fire came from within the control panel. I called Samsung and they said they would take care of everything. We had estimates and sent pics, etc. They said they would pay for the cost of repairs to my home (est. $22,000.00). Samsung said we would have to send it to our insurance company, aka Samsung marine & fire. They were going to cut a check 2 months later. They continued to keep giving me the run around; stating oh we sent the stove Korea for inspection first. Guess what? Samsung said its my fault because we put something on the stove. My refrigerator is unsafe to rely on due to temperature irregularities caused by a defect in design that is well documented and well known by Samsung. There is already a class action lawsuit ongoing for this defect. I paid good money for a Energy Star, high quality refrigerator which I did not get. I did receive a refrigerator which causes food spoilage, does not do what it is supposed to and requires me to break ice away on a continuous basis. I require refrigerated medication to keep me alive. My disability makes breaking the ice away difficult and laborious. I bought the refrigerator from HHGregg which closed its doors. They came out twice to repair this same defect. I was not aware that the issue was a known defect until recently and I would like Samsung to be held accountable in cost for repairing this defect in their product. Samsung claims to be a company that cares. The Third party of Alorica is creating an atmosphere of deceit. I have asked for a Supervisor regarding this defect and all they send are anonymous emails with no one to contact.

The last service call was 3/04/14 and yesterday, 3/08/14, we had more frozen water in and under the veggies drawers.Customer service persons have been very gracious and helpful. The repairmen that have come here have been courteous and have tried to help. But the definition of futility is doing the same thing over and over and over again, expecting different results. We have had the coils on the back wall replaced 3 times and thawed each time and the drain blown and, guess what? Same results. Were very, very tired of this problem. We have thrown out more food thats been ruined by sitting in ice water and its getting expensive. We have told everyone and anyone who will listen NOT to buy Samsung appliances as they are definitely inferior products. Just wish they would replace this defective appliance or compensate us monetarily in order that we can purchase a refrigerator that will work. Any suggestions anyone?

Samsung RF 32 double door refrigerator - I have been in contact with Samsun
Samsung RF 32 double door refrigerator - I have been in contact with Samsung about a common problem with a failure on our ice maker, even though it is in several complaint chats and is noted by Samsung as they offer a $700.00 improved replacement part with a bigger fan to accommodate the heat from the motor. Samsungs support line will not authorize the repair thru there designated representative company that also says that it should be covered. The appliance repair company told me to ask for a one-time acceptance allowance and I am still being denied. NO CUSTOMER SUPPORT. I WILL NEVER BUY SAMSUNG AGAIN.

Samsung refuses to honor warranty. 4 door refrigerator RF23J9011SG/AA. [ New ] As a loyal user of Samsung products from 3 tvs, 3 phones, and 2 refrigerators I expected when I purchased my beautiful 4 door refrigerator that I would enjoy the same top quality that I have always had with Samsung products. After less than two years of service, my 4 door refrigerator, that cost over $3,000 has developed an issue. The bottom (Freezer section) is working fine but the top (fridge) section is now hot. Since the warranty on the compressor and associated parts is 5 years I thought that, although anything can have an issue, Samsung would honor the warranty to repair the unit. They did agree to send a technician out to look at the refrigerator so I was pleased that they would honor their warranty. The interesting part is that the technician only removed the inside panel at the back of the fridge to inspect the coil and fan area. The only test that he did was to unplug a temp sensor and plug one in that he brought to see if the compressor would kick on, which it did not. He also took some pictures of the inside of the fridge and sent them in, he said, to a Samsung technician who, in turn from some unknown location determined that the problem is Environmental because of a small section of copper tubing at the top of the coil has some green corrosion on it (Not the Coil itself). I was confused because this is what copper does when exposed to moisture (inside the fridge) and air. The technician told me that he was not sure but that is what Samsung said. He then removed the panels covering the electronics on the back of the fridge, tested absolutely nothing other than seeing if the LED lights were on and then told me there was nothing that he could do because it is from an environmental problem. The problem with this theory is, #1 copper turns green when exposed to air and moisture, very common and expected. Secondly, if it were an environmental issue then the copper lines on the back of the unit leading to the compressors (there are 2, one for freezer, one for fridge) would be corroded since they are ACTUALLY exposed to the Environment and off course, they are not corroded but look absolutely new. Fast forward today, one week later, and I paid Mr. Appliance to come out and actually diagnose the fridge issue. The problem is that there is an issue with the compressor. And, as I expected, they told me that the idea of environmental issues causing this is absolutely ridiculous. They did, however kindly offer me an estimate of almost $1,000 to repair it. Very disappointed with Samsungs handling of this situation, by the attitude of the tech they sent out, it almost seems as though they intended to find any reason possible not to honor their own warranty.

My Samsung refrigerator is just 1 year old and the technicians have visited
My Samsung refrigerator is just 1 year old and the technicians have visited almost every month due to one or the other problem. It started just over a month when I realized that any fruit or vegetable I kept outside the vegetable compartment had ice in it. Even the cooked vegetables if kept in the back of the shelf had ice in it. I kept on complaining this issue to Samsung Customer Service. Every time they will send a technician who will change the part and go. It was more of a pain as I couldnt use the fridge to full capacity. As instructed by technicians there were so many things which I shouldnt put in certain shelves or the size of boxes. I kept away leftovers or anything cooked/half cooked. I dont remember till date if I ever had to be so careful in using the refrigerator. I couldnt use half of the space in refrigerator fearing it will get spoiled. Not only that, my refrigerator stopped working completely 3 times in just a span of 1 year. Again they had to change the parts. I kept on calling them and asking them to change the refrigerator as it was giving me so many problems (not to forget just in 1 year- full warranty period) but they just turned deaf ear to my requests, even when I contacted their supervisor. Ill never ever recommend Samsung refrigerator to anyone after this experience. It looks like every time the warranty expires, Ill have to keep purchasing extended warranty and bear with the refrigerator. This Samsung product has been a big pain in the ass.

I bought without noticing the reviews Samsung model refrigerator W815217960 on JAN 9th 2018 through online. It came to Home as a serious dent at front door. The person who bring there shows it and I said, No way”. They took it back somewhere and rescheduled 17th? 18th? And 19th? No show up till this time. My guess they are planning to give me the same refrigerator with minor repair or replacing. Because I saw my online account shows item is delivered. I am lucky to say I dont lose my money for buying these type of scrap product. Finally I understand this is not the Home Depot mistakes. In our circle lot of smart people are living to looking into our pocket. So very careful. Before buying something go through reviews.

After 3 more months, not only was it under the drawers but in them. I called Samsung and they told me after a year, it had to be under an extended warranty. I have a home warranty which I called in April, was told the fan burned out. It took 9 weeks for the part to come in and another 3.5 to get the repairman back out. It is fixed BUT I was told the water problem will come back as Samsung has a running problem with this happening. 2005 Samsung microwave -SE- on display. Microwave high end that has an auto cook for types of food. I saw the post about the sensor and read others online for only 10 min. Said it was a humidity sensor that was shorted inside microwave, not a panel. My microwave was totally unusable. No buttons worked and unplugging power had no effect. I am fairly good at fixing things. And it said that you had to replace sensor. But after about five min., I remembered what I last cooked. I cooked corn. I bet that sensor is dirty. Inside on the ceiling of the microwave is a small 1/4 inch hole that the sensor fits. I sprayed it with aerosol isopropyl alcohol. Instant! : 0 on display, the -SE- was gone. The sensor was dirty and caused the microwave to lockup. I did not use but can suggest maybe a Q-tip with rubbing alcohol. A spray worked for me. My microwave is working. Thanks for the info on this site. It helped. Lot of work saved.

In November 2011, our family purchased a counter depth Samsung Refrigerator, Model #RSG257AARS. Shortly after purchasing the refrigerator, the exterior door above the ice maker had a small divot. Originally, it appeared like someone in our family dinged it with a hard object. However, over the next year, the problem continued, and both doors are covered in small divots from the door handles to the top of the refrigerator. This is definitely a manufacturing defect. According to the representative from Samsung, the warranty was only good for one year, and Samsung refuses to stand behind their product stating this is not a recall issue. This was a large investment for our family, and we are extremely disappointed that Samsung will not support its customers and products. We would like to share this experience so other consumers can make an educated choice before making their purchase.

I purchased a Samsung refrigerator 400 LTR from Vaishali, **. From the start, the problem was that the upper portion of the fridge is ice-deposited and the lower portion is warm and the vegetable, etc. gets spoiled. When I complained, the person guided me on phone, around six months back, and said that if I switch off the refrigerator for one night, it will be okay, and this worked. But time and again this problem arises. It is the defect of the Samsung technology and why should I suffer> When I complained, they say that the engineer will come and charge 400 Rs for visit, in my view the basic defect should be removed by Samsung free of charges, or they place my fridge with a new one . I purchased it around 20 months back.

I bought a Samsung Refrigerator in 2007. Nothing but problems. 4 Ice maker installed at almost $400.00 a piece. I call Best Buy. They were no help. No one in the town that I live will do repair work. They said they would not repair. Was not worth fixing. I found one repair place in the next state. They charge me $95.00 just to come to my house. I called Samsung after this problem persisted. I thought they would show a little sympathy, not a chance. That equals to an ice maker every 2 years I have owned this piece of junk. I have bought 2 Samsung tablets, a phone, a refrigerator and a range. You would think that consumer loyalty would matter but it doesnt. This fridge cost me $2415.00 plus $1600.00 for ice makers that is a total of $4015.00. This is a bad joke. The kicker is Samsung also makes the ice makers. They get your money every way you turn. I bought a Whirlpool fridge 28 years ago. It is still working and so is the ice maker. I should have known better, stick with what works. I will never waste my money on anything that has Samsung on it again.

My Samsung 28 cu. ft. 4-Door French Door Refrigerator, MODEL NUMBER: RF28HMEDBSR/AA, is used on a daily basis by my family of 5. I purchased this refrigerator in July of 2017 for roughly $3,000 from Home Depot. After 4 months of use the Ice Maker began to fail to produce ice. Failures consisted of total freeze up of system ice dispensing unit, water leaks out of ice holding tray down front of refrigerator. After making numerous calls and chats to Samsung and multiple defrost actions, Samsung sent out a repair person to replace ice maker. Today I contacted Samsung and communicated that service repair didnt resolve the issues of total freeze up and water leaks from ice machine. The Samsung Tech was helpful, but communicated that repair would be at my cost since warranty had just expired. Not cool since service didnt resolve the issue.

I purchased a Samsung refrigerator (Model # RF4287HARS, French Door, with the Flex Zone drawer) early Sept 2013. This refrigerator costs me over $2000. After about 2 months, the refrigerator section wouldnt get cold anymore. The digital display read 34 degrees, but I knew it wasnt. After reading up on trouble shooting tips, I unplugged the fridge, waited a few minutes, plugged it back in, then it read 58 degrees. I called for service (a 4 hour window, of course). The technician said it was faulty temperature sensors. He didnt have the parts and said he would have to call it in. It may be up to 3 to 4 weeks to get the parts. I thought this was ridiculous (and it was just the beginning). I called Samsung headquarters, asked them if they would kindly replace my refrigerator with a new one, since its only about 2 months old. They said its NOT THEIR POLICY. They said if its fixable, they will get a service technician to fix it. I FLIPPED!!! I told them, I do not have the luxury to wait 3 to 4 weeks for parts to come in...... I DONT HAVE A PROPERLY WORKING REFRIGERATOR!!! Their answer..... its NOT OUR POLICY. So I ask that they transfer me to upper management. I spoke to their Executive Customer Service Relations, told them my situation and my request. Their response was, ITS NOT OUR POLICY. These are the most useless customer service department heads Ive dealt with. So I bit the bullet, waited about 2 weeks, parts came in, called for service technician again. They replaced the temperature sensors. Im thinking, Whew, Im glad thats over with. About 2 weeks later, I notice the fridge is not getting cold again. Temperature is reading 48 to 52 degrees. Called for service again, they are going to replace ice maker and heating element. I asked the service repair man, What is the root of this problem? He says he doesnt know, just that the fault indicator is telling him to replace these parts. This is where Im at right now, dont even know if this second service will solve the problem. Im infuriated at Samsung. How dare they put out a product on the market without conducting extensive tests. Do they realize what a burden they are putting on their customers? Im never buying Samsung again, EVER!!! If you work for Samsung (refrigerator designer or customer service), shame on you for all the trouble you put me through. Shame on your POLICY. If you make a faulty product and you know about it, OWN UP TO IT! The customer is always right! MAKE IT RIGHT FOR YOUR CUSTOMERS! Or pretty soon, you will have no more customers.

I purchased my Samsung refrigerator in 2015. Within that first year I had Samsung repairs visit four times due to ice maker problems. They never fixed the problem. Thank goodness I purchased the extended warranty from Lowes. I had a warranty repair person visit over the same ice maker issues seven times. Each time I had to take four hours off of work to be home for the repair. The icemaker has been replaced along with several other components at least three times. Each time it breaks within weeks and still does not work. Not only does it not produce ice properly, it also leaks water down the front of my stainless steel and now I have permanent stains in my stainless steel refrigerator. Not Appealing! Purchasing this refrigerator has created significant financial loss for me and my family. Not only do I have an ugly refrigerator with water stains down the front of it, I cannot get ice from it, and I have lost several hours equating to several hundred dollars of loss work having to be home each time a repair person needed access to fix it. The problem, of course, is--- what if we werent home to catch the problem? On telephoning Samsung Warranty Service with our concern, we were told that this is a FEATURE - NOT A FLAW. Bought the refrigerator (Model RF263AEBP) and electric range in August 2010 and have had nothing but problems with the refrigerator since we bought it. Same problems as everyone else is having, freezer has ice accumulation and ice maker quit working. Ice accumulation in the vents in the refrigerator causing water to settle under the drawers and on the kitchen floor. Refrigerator and freezer quit cooling. Repairman finally came out the first of December and told us it has a Freon leak but would have to come back and do a dye test to see where leak is. In the meantime he did something to mess up the compressor so he had to order a new one (Thank goodness it was still in warranty). This was before Christmas. Set an appointment to come back January 16, 2015, to replace compressor. Advised us that he would change out some parts (that we had to pay for) but in probably 4 years we will have the same problems because it would be out of Freon again. Guess they cant fix the leak. If the leak cant be fixed it seems like they would replace the refrigerator. Could not go through Christmas without a refrigerator so we had to buy a new one and believe me it was not a Samsung. We purchased a 3 door Samsung refrigerator Jan, 4 2016. The ice maker drips water through the ice dispenser and several times ice has lodged in the maker preventing new ice to drop and consequently build up ice. The repairman says this is a common complaint and we can either replace the ice maker ($500), shut the entire refrigerator down for 48 hours to let everything thaw or use a hair dryer to try to help the thawing process. He says it is an engineering flaw involving the air flow. Of course once you melt the ice it will happen again. We bought a Samsung SMH9187 in April 2011. It started to give intermittent (1/month) SE error and beeping around November 2011. We did not call for repair as the microwave still worked. The microwave completely stopped working in May 2012. We called Samsung to inquire about the error and learn whether there was any chance the warranty would cover it, since it began months before the warranty expired. They attempted to argue that the warranty was from date of manufacture (and thus ended in November 2011, thankful I had my receipt with date of purchase). We were informed that Samsung would pay for the replacement part but not the cost of installing it. Their authorized repair company would call us in 48 hours. We didnt hear anything from them for 5 days. We called Samsung and asked if we could have the part sent directly to us, no, this is against their policy. The authorized service company indicated a cost of $145 to replace the part. However, they cant do anything until Samsung Service includes more information in their service request to the authorized dealer.I contacted Samsung again and asked them to provide me with the part number that needs to be replaced. They gave me the phone number of their authorized parts dealer and told me that this dealer can provide me with the part number. The authorized parts dealer told me that they cant provide me with the part number over the phone. I need to go to their website (samsungparts.com) and look up my model # and use keyword control panel. Im told that the part I need costs $78.98 (she can tell me the price but not the part number?!)I still dont know the part number that Samsung was going to provide me for free, but the website has two parts called control panel for my model of microwave, one of which is $78.98. Luckily, the website does include the part numbers. I checked Sears Parts Direct and found the same part for $40.99. I ordered it, paid $11 shipping, and Im now hoping that the replacement process is relatively simple.I understand that things break, but, after my experience and seeing all the Samsung SE stories on the internet, Samsung products and service are terrible! Im beginning to think that Samsung is purposely making it difficult to learn about the meanings of the error codes and how to repair them, so that you use their service company or buy parts from their overpriced supplier.

Samsung insists that it is NOT a manufacturing issue and refused to cover the cost of having anyone sent out to service it. Im furious with them, considering how much I paid for that refrigerator. I finally submitted a class action law suit against them.

Two delivered within 30 days, and both had a computer issue: I purchased the 25.6 cubic foot French door Samsung refrigerator in November 2012. I had been told by salesmen at two different stores that Samsung was the best refrigerator you could buy. I took their word for it and stopped looking at any other brands. When my fridge was delivered and set up, the delivery man said he was pushing the power freeze button to cool it off quickly so I could put my food back in. He mentioned that it would go off on its own once it had cooled down. I noticed that it stayed on -8 degrees for day. I kept thinking there was a problem with the freezer temperature setting. Finally, I called Samsung and was told that if I unplugged it and plugged it back it, that would take care of the problem. Instead, it plummeted to -8 again, although the freezer was set on 0. I finally figured out that the power freeze button was not turning itself off like it should. Samsung says it should stay on approximately 1 1/2 hour then shut off. Feeling like I had purchased a lemon, I requested a different one. The store very graciously brought out another new refrigerator. After the delivery men left, the first thing I did was push power freeze to see what happened. Would you believe that it also never went off? Wondering if other people had experienced the same thing, I searched on the internet and found this forum. I am so grateful to have found out the problems that exist with Samsung refrigerators before my 30 days are up. I now have 5 days left to request it to be picked up and my money returned. I have also talked with a few servicemen who have told me that they would never own a Samsung. I will say that the look and feel of the Samsung is wonderful. I dont think it will be possible to find any other brand that I like better as far as the inside set up, durable feeling of the shelves and bins; but looking pretty isnt worth anything if it isnt reliable.

My Samsung side-by-side fridge is making a loud noise every 3-6 months. I have to unplug it, put food in coolers and defrost it to make it stop. Samsung has sent a repairman who says its my fault for keeping the freezer door open too much. This is my 3rd side-by-side fridge in my lifetime... The 2 other ones were Electrolux. Had them for approximately 10 years each with no problems. Samsung gave me problems after 3 months. I have noticed that my meter is going very fast when the noise is ongoing. Today I had it and order a new fridge. I will NEVER buy another Samsung product again!

Houseful of Samsung Appliances and now I am stuck. Microwave takes forever to boil a cup of water for tea. Cheap handle broke off after 2 years. Dishwasher doesnt clean dishes, you must basically wash by hand before you put them in. French door refrigerator crapped under 3 yrs. Paid over $900 to fix. Icemaker was part of that fix, now a little over a year it stopped working again. Stove knobs all broke off gas stove... under 3 yrs old. Also dont bother using the cleaning mode on your gas stove. Its known to get so hot it fries the circuit board. Costly repair I had on that one.Washer tears clothes and cant use bleach anymore because it goes through the compartment prematurely and blotches my load. TVs lasted no more than 3 years and my phone sucks. I have wasted so much money let alone time waiting for service people to show... or not to show. Customer service... a total joke. Never willing to resolve issues. I have over $8000 in home appliances and electronics that, unfortunately dont know when they will see their day. But when its time, Samsung will never again be my choice. Cant afford to buy junk anymore. But they dont care. They got my money. Dont let them get yours!

6 months ago we had to have the ice maker replaced, would not work. Before that we noticed water collecting in the bottom of the refrigerator, thought it was to do with the ice maker, but now water had collected so much it was dripping on to the floor underneath, a major clean up. So now I have to pay for another repair, if it can be fixed.

I purchased a Samsung gas stove in September 2020. In January of 2021 my wife and I noticed that the paint and clear coat was chipping off of the stove. I called Samsung to let them know about the problem and after a week and a half of playing phone tag a representative of the company informed me that the chipping paint is NOT covered under the warranty. Now we purchased the extended warranty and still had PLENTY of warranty left but in order for Samsung to fix the paint chipping we would have to PAY for the work. My recommendation is to NOT buy anything from Samsung unless you would like to pay $1300 for a black stainless steel stove only for it to have a 1” paint chip missing after 4 months.

I bought a Samsung dishwasher less than 2 years ago and what a piece of garbage. My previous dishwasher lasted 30 years and it was a Kenmore. I called a local repair company and they said they do not service Samsung as parts are very expensive and hard to get. I phoned Leons in Collingwood where I got this junk and they gave me a phone number in Owen Sound. The technician came and told us something leaked onto the motor and would cost $600.00 to fix. So we paid $200.00 for service call and this piece of junk will go to the scrap yard. And unfortunately I bought a Samsung refrigerator and hopefully it will last more than 2 years. But I will be purchasing a different product very shortly and it will not be a Samsung brand.
