We purchased a Samsung side by side at Conn’s a few months ago and specifically chose Samsung over the other brands because we had good experiences with phones, a TV and a number of other items from that brand. Well, 2 weeks ago, the refrigerator quit working and all of our food went bad. At first, I wasnt concerned, because it is still within the warranty period. I called Conn’s and they started the repair order. The problem came when Samsung couldnt find a local service provider to come out and repair it. Last week, they told me that they would allow us to exchange it for a new unit if they didnt find someone by Monday. Monday, they said they were still processing the claim. It has now been two weeks and Samsung says that it will take up to 7 more business days for them to decide what to do. In the meantime, we have lost a couple of hundred dollars worth of food and havent had a working refrigerator in weeks. I understand that things happen, but when you pay to purchase a fairly expensive appliance new from what is supposed to be a reputable brand, you expect that issues will be taken care of in a more timely manner. Eating out is costing us even more money and I dont think it is unreasonable to expect that a refrigerator can be repaired or replaced within the first two weeks.

My 5 year old fridge freezer with a ten year guarantee on the digital compressor recently packed up and they passed me to A Samsung Service Centre namely Elite Digital Appliances, who refused to fix or replace same saying it was the gas cylinder and charged me £235.20 for a 5 minute regassing service. Samsung refuse to accept responsibility after telling me it was covered by the warranty, but later retracted. They have offered £50 as a gesture of goodwill, which I have rejected. Beware of these service centres who are probably in collusion with Samsung to rip customers off. We shall see what the county court says.

HHgregg sent out a few repairmen (no report), did nothing, said it cant be fixed. I called Samsung they sent out 2 repairmen. No info and no work. In Feb 2013 I was taken to St. Lucie Medical center as I was violently ill. DX Bacteria in my lung. I spent the month of Feb in the hospital as I almost died and almost a year rehabilitating. I cannot open the dishwasher for fear of another attack. My daughter holds her breath and we over clean the unit. The repairman that was here today said to me, It needs to be replaced.

Our French door Samsung refrigerator, with a bottom drawer freezer, was good for about 2 years, when the ice maker started frosting over and failing to drop ice in the bin. There is now a 26,000+ member Facebook page of similar issues with Samsung refrigerators which also mentions a few of their other appliances. I do NOT recommend purchasing any Samsung appliances.

This the worst refrigerator I have ever owned and the customer service is no better. The ice maker keeps freezing up and customer service says thats unusual. Not so... read all these reviews. I was cooking with my pot on the stove when I heard a pop. I removed my pot and saw a crack glass and indentation mark on my pot. The stove range I used on was the RAPID BOIL side from picture, which need to handle the temperature flux it experience. The crack surface has shattered glass and fine glass dust. I seen crack, shattered glass pictures due to physical damages on Consumer Affairs and other websites for Samsung stove and mine look nothing like that. It is clearly a material properties failure and an engineering mistake.I reported my problems to Samsung and told them Im scared to use the stove as it is unsafe to operate and its also what they suggested until they receive the images and send out technician, which they said will take 2-3 days to review. I sent the pics and wait, hear nothing from them for a week so I call them back. A new agent review my transaction id # and told me that the previous agent close accident close my case. So he issue me a new transaction id and said he will escalate with the supervisor to get it resolve ASAP, and I resent the pictures again. My family been eating out and frozen foods during this ordeal.I call back the next day and nothing happen, so I have to retell my whole problem again to the 3rd agent which went ahead issue me a ticket number with the local technician to take a look at the problem. To bring out this technician, I will have to pay out of my own pocket if it is a cosmetic problem. So today I was going to call the local technician guy to schedule an appointment but Samsung finally call back and said they deny the warranty issue without reviewing the pics. They said they havent receive the pictures, which I sent TWICE. Now, Im trying to schedule with a technician and see where it goes from there. I will follow up with updates.UPDATE ON 03/31/2017: After millions of phone call and countless agents. Scamsung tactics of denying picture not receiving, We have to hang up on you because we cannot leave you the phone for too long, A supervisor will call you back. So the first technician never came out because all he does is just take pictures. He requested I sent the pictures to him via text message, so I sent him 4 pictures. I called in Samsung to check my status, they deny the warranty on Mar 20 on the basis No load/min load using an aluminum cookware with enamel coating. They saying the pot I was cooking in was empty, I was the cooker and there were stuff inside the pot, who cook an empty pot. Aluminum cookware, isnt all Americans use aluminum cookware, but I found out that they use whatever words I misstated in the phone conversation against me. I realized the pot I was cooking on was not aluminum, but actually steel, I tested it with a magnet. So I called back in and was able to reach a manager on the shop floor. And explain the whole process again to her that this was a material defect, I was using RAPID BOIL setting on left side of the stove. The crack was due to the high heat fluctuation and the glass couldnt handle the temperature due to the expansion of material. Further into the conversation, she agree to issue a service repair for the stove due to spontaneous pop while cooking. She scheduled Monday to have a third-party vendor to come out and repair, but all he did was come out and take picture, the same as the first time. Or so I thought he would come out and repair on Monday, Mar 27. But all he did was take a picture on his cracked phone in a dark kitchen room. I thought they issue the repair service for labor and part, called in. And of course it would be different agents every time and from different region. They would say, Lets wait for the pictures and basically they take me a whole loop again, back to square one. I was able to reach an ECR Leena Mar 28 (executive customer relation, someone actually had the power to help) and she told me only 2 of my pictures were uploaded and that from that pictures it was a discoloration damage. I was confused that she cant even see the crack bits and pieces. So she asked me to send in the picture directly to her to review. Pictures were sent to her, and she is downloading it to her computer. She told me the downloading it is take too long, she has to hang up on me and another agent will contact me. Never happen, its always you to have to call in. And again, you have to explain everything but this new ECR agent Karla Mar 29 didnt bother to listen and just outright say my warranty was deny using the denial from Mar 20 instead of reviewing the conversation I have on Mar 28. I asked her, Let me talk to someone that will listen and want to help me out. Remember that the services was offer from the Shop Floor Manager, but they kept saying, Its not on record, I cant find it, I dont know who you were talking to. So Karla told me that a supervisor will call me back in 24-48 hours, no one call me yet. I dont expect to and tired of dealing with them. At first I want a repair, now I rather replace it with a different brand. After exploding Note 7, exploding washer and dryer, exploding oven cover, Im glad my glass top was crack instead explode, but it could happen to someone else. Scamsung afraid of another massive recall on using low quality glass top material so they deny my warranty. This product is unsafe and should take off from store shelve. Im willing to join class action lawsuit against Scamsung, contact me. While all this happen, just found out my Scamsung refrigerator that I bought at the same time, the water and ice dispenser stop working, need to replace the control panel/switch. Save yourself from trouble and dont buy another Scamsung products. My range model was NE59J7630S.

Now I have to figure out if Im going to get it repaired. Im not rich. I paid $3800.00 for the 4 pieces. I would never ever in this lifetime recommend Samsung products or purchase them. We bought this double range in 2014. On Jan of 2017 we were moving the range to have a new floor put in. When the floor was done we moved the range back to where it was and plugged it in. When we did this it blew the breaker. We then shut off the electric and checked the range. We could smell smoke from the back of the range. We took the back of the power cover off and found the black plastic clamp that holds the wire to the power cord let go and the wires hit the cover and shorted out the range. I was told that there was nothing that could be done. I feel this is a serious safety issue and it could cause serious problems or fire. Will not buy another.

I purchased a Samsung Microwave Model SMH8187STG from Costco on 19 MAR, 2011. The other day, I went to close the door, heard a snap and it wouldnt close. The plastic latch was loose. I called Samsung (even though warranty was over) to inquire about what to do, and was passed on to their Canadian parts department, where I ordered a new plastic latch piece for $2.99, assuming thats what the problem was. It would be sent to the dealer nearest to our town where I could pick it up at that price, or mailed to me for $12.99 (I chose the pick up). The parts person also helped by directing me to a website as to how to take the door apart to get at the broken latch. I discovered many other sites where people had had problems with Samsung door latches failing, SE problems, etc.Anyway, when I took the door apart and got the latch out, there were a couple of other broken plastic pieces also. I picked up the new piece yesterday, brought it home, and discovered from looking at some other websites that some people had to glue broken plastic bits back on the door in order to get everything to work (they apparently hadnt ordered a new part). My new part didnt include the other plastic pieces, as they had been part of the inside of the door! They were very small, and very thin, and were part of the guides for the latch, and one of them appeared to be the piece that would anchor the spring that would attach to the latch. Crazy glue or epoxy wasnt going to fix that piece well enough to allow a spring to re-anchor for the stress on the latch. My wife and I do not slam the microwave door, and at our age (mid-60s), we realize were now living in a throw-away society, but this is ridiculous! It looks like well need a new door, as the whole internal part of the current door contains these tiny plastic anchors. Samsung knew or ought to have known that these pieces would not stand up to repeated use over more than a few years before the stress on them would cause them to fail. Why would they not have used reasonably strong metal anchors? While Im not a lawyer, one would think that those of us that have had this problem would have a decent case in small claims court or in a class action suit, even though the warranty is over. Does anyone agree? Anyway, after reading the other horror stories and our experience, its the first/last Samsung for us! P.S. So far, we havent had the SE problem, but from the looks of it, we probably will. However, we bought ours at Costco, as mentioned, and they are very good at taking things back from dissatisfied customers.

The original fridge I had purchased had a defective water/ice dispenser. Initially the Hudsons Bay wanted to have it serviced rather than replaced, despite it being delivered in that condition. The Samsung service people didnt show up for the booked appointment. After fighting with the Hudsons Bay to replace the fridge 9 months later, after taking the complaint to The Star, through the Hudson Bay Executive Service Department arrangements were made for the fridge to be replaced. On the second Samsung fridge that was delivered, the right door on the fridge is in excess of 1/2 inch from the top of the fridge, right across the whole door and in excess of 1/2 lower, both on the top and bottom of the right door than the left door.Samsung claimed it was a leveling issue, sent me instructions on how to level it and told me to do it myself. Every individual I consulted with agreed it is impossible for it to be a leveling issue; it is a manufacturing defect. The fridge is under warranty and despite calling back and speaking with a supervisor, Samsung has not responded and will not deal with their defective product. DO NOT BUY A SAMSUNG FRIDGE OR ANY PRODUCTS FROM SAMSUNG!!!

If you are expecting this oven to have two separate single ovens, you are terribly wrong. When we bake something in upper single oven the left side of the tray baked perfectly while the right side had raw dough. Of course we contacted to customer service and they promptly responded and send in a tech. The tech stated upper single oven will not bake unless you take the separator out and use whole thing upper and lower single ovens as whole one, despite the product sold and stated that it could be used as 2 single ovens. We called customer service again and after 4 complain tickets and 3 tech visits we learned that we paid 350 additional dollars for the good looks of lame product. This product CANNOT BE USED AS TWO SINGLE OVENS. You cannot use only upper single oven to bake. Last tech even stated on the ticket that, as customer we refused the repair after we lost 3 days of work to meet with theses hopeless people of Samsung techs. Not to mention they seriously check if the electrical power supply is good with voltage and amps on gas oven. They question my wife if she has a clue about the convection oven. Yah! Two different counties certified her as restaurant manager for fun and she ain’t been in restaurant industry in last 20 years. Also to the credit of Samsung they have great 1 year manufacturer’s warranty but unfortunately it starts from the date product manufactured. So if you purchase an oven & stove in Dec 2018 and that unit is manufactured Feb 2018, your one year manufacturer’s warranty expires on Feb 2019 so enjoy your 2 months worth of one year warranty. We have Samsung TV, Home Theater System, Refrigerator, 3 Samsung smart phones and this oven. I can proudly say this is the LAST product I purchased from Samsung. I dont want to see the word Samsung in my house anymore. Now if you are planning to purchase this duo oven I would suggest you to buy yourself a dutch oven and a ton of firewood, at least you can enjoy great outdoors with real fire and may have some good smores cooked evenly. That will be a lot more satisfying than losing tremendous time and effort try to explain people that their product is not doing what it supposed to while they were trying to achieve a different result with sending 3 techs to same issue. I am done with Samsung brand. Good luck to you.

After 3 more months, not only was it under the drawers but in them. I called Samsung and they told me after a year, it had to be under an extended warranty. I have a home warranty which I called in April, was told the fan burned out. It took 9 weeks for the part to come in and another 3.5 to get the repairman back out. I had a Whirlpool for 11 years and wanted a new stainless steel model. I got this 2 years back from Best Buy. I didnt get the extended warranty because I never used it with my old dishwasher and all money was just gone waste. The Samsung brand proved to be my nightmare. I had to call tech service twice in 1 year. Then again after year for which I paid through my own pocket. The dishes are never clean and top shelf never gets dry. I wash all with a soap, rinse with water then again run the dishwasher. If you put the dish without washing it doesn’t get clean. The material used inside, smells like a rubber and I think my old dishwasher was much sturdier than this WaterWall. Additionally, you have to baby it. The door lock gave up after 1 year, so changed it. Now again and again we keep getting error messages. I am just tired of this washer. I will not recommend anyone to buy.

Even if the price is higher than average, the quality and convenience add a lot of attractiveness. Microwave parts (like the plate, for example) are replaceable across different models. Samsung microwaves usually don't require reading the documentation - the interface is intuitive. I can make an emphasis the quality: reliability and quality of materials - I never experienced any issues like rusty parts over the long usage, etc. Warranty (even if I never used it) from Samsung adds some confidence in product quality. So far, I had no issues with the products of this company. Highly recommended Samsung microwaves and other kitchenware!

OMG! There are painful customer service stories on Samsung’s own refrigerator site that are soul jarring. Samsung’s refrigerators don’t work: **. Samsung’s behavior is clearly a corporate recognition of a refrigerator failure problem and use of a purposefully painful customer service experience to suppress or even eliminate revenue loss from fixing their problems. They can build a TV, but boy the Samsung refrigerator division... no other way to say it... sucks. Remarkable that they go adversarial with people who bought their product. These people bought their product, they supported revenue for the company. They are not the bad guys and are not deserving the persecution articulated in these postings. We purchased our remodeled condo in St Pete recently and just this week discovered that our impressive looking 3 or 4 year old Samsnot (nickname I heard in conversations about this brand) refrigerator (RF24FSEDBSR/AA) is unable to prevent foods from spoiling or doing exactly what everyone on the Samsung site is complaining about, not staying cold.In addition to the cooling system failure in only 4 years, we found the Samsnot fridge to be poorly designed vis a vis: The doors dont close! Often, very often, we look over and see that the door we had swung closed and walked away from is open slightly. There is a short lived, tiny audio alarm to alert you, but you can barely hear it. If it was loud enough, the frequency of door open alarms would qualify as Abu Gahrib sound torture. They cant build a refrigerator that has dependably closing doors? I’m 72 and never had a fridge that didn’t allow its doors to close. As Jackie Mason would say... Refrigerators are not their line of work. The stainless finish is also a challenge to keep righteous. It always smears and you need to be wiping that stainless steel spray stuff on... All the time... to keep it moderately presentable. They actually engineered a high maintenance finish. And the ice maker! What a piece of annoying scree that contraption is. It has legions of people complaining about it. After reading the online complaints, we turn ours off just to make life easier. First it jams so that to remove it from inside the refrigerator, you need Dwayne Johnson to show up and then yank it free of its receptacle. Why remove the ice maker? Once Dwayne has pulled the rudimentary ice making device out for you, it is then necessary to go in and clean out the built up ice-frost in the ice maker compartment... you know... defrost it.We bought our condo with this piece of Samsnot junk already installed, so we are shaping our posture on this Samsnot mechanical travesty to be that we really didnt pay for it and that we can kind of justify going out and buying a new fridge. Given what is written on the Samsung refrig site, we dont even want to allow Sams the opportunity to defile us with their malevolent customer service. We are the second owners and well out of the 1 year warranty but still within the 5 year warranty for the cooling system, nevertheless we see that did not do any of the people on the site much good. Fridges were effortlessly built to last 15 to 25 years in the 60s. How can these Samsung people, from a culture oriented to excellence (think Honda/Toyota/Panasonic/Subaru/Sony), be so unskilled and then so combative when asked to make things right?I feel compelled to educate unsuspecting people to the reported hazards of this brand’s refrigerator failure plus my own experience with my under 5 year failure. My efforts will never impact their overall business, but given the bevy of refrigerator makers competing for the consumers refrigerator dollar any friction to their business will offer some measure of gratification. Samsung’s own site with lots of complaints, if you missed it before: **.

We had trouble with our fridge from day one. This was 3 years ago, well before the current onslaught of consumers with huge problems, so we received a refund after 5 non-repairs. Thousands of consumers have been defrauded and this company should have been forced to recall the 20+ models that are, very simply, crap. Samsung has tried over and over to make consumers pay for repairs, which do not fix the problems anyway. They, also, try to dupe people that they are out of warranty, while this is NOT a warranty issue. We paid a small fortune for a french-door dual drawer refrigerator less than 5 years ago. The icemaker went out in less than 3 years! The thermostat went out in less than 4 years! The sealed system went out in less than 5 years! The fan went out in less than 5 years! The covers need replacing less than 5 years! We have had technician after technician try to fix this thing to no avail! We called Samsung and got nothing! Three people from Samsung told us, You should be happy that you got almost 5 years out of it. Are you kidding me?! In case you havent noticed, Im pissed! Our old Kenmore lasted over 20 years!

Still Samsung cannot tell us why the fridge just stops chilling and ruins all our food, twice! The third time we were home and saved the food. Just received 4th and hope it works. Samsung refrigerator RF263AEBP - I have had this refrigerator for about 4 years now and it has had problems from a little after its first year. It would defrost everything for a couple of days and then start working again. This went on for months and I just figured it was a weird glitch. Then it started this loud grinding sound from the refrigerator section and it acted like it finally died. I called a repairman and he looked inside and said it was the fan but he couldnt work on it because the fan was frozen solid. He told me to leave it open for a few days while he ordered the part. I lost all of my groceries I had just bought. The repairman never seemed to get the part and after a month of no refrigerator, I plugged it back it and it worked perfectly fine for awhile. So this has been going on every few months until yesterday. The refrigerator wont cool now -- its at 66 -- and the freezer is working perfect. I have had it with this refrigerator!

Ice dispenser in Samsung refrigerator is a problem. In dispensing Ice it gets stuck at outside outlet or at inside outlet at ice bucket or it drops crushed ice instead of the cube ice. Now when you try to clear it suddenly it drops all ice on floor and creates a mess and needs to be cleaned up. I looked in the booklet under description and under problem solution. No luck. Also it makes a dinging loud noise like someone is banging on a door or working in other area. Annoying at night time.

OMG, Samsung refrigerators are totally worthless. We have had so many problems and service calls with our new Samsung fridge. Talk about, sounds like an airplane? Yes, it has something to do with the air circulation fan behind the thermostatically controlled shelf. The noise starts as a humming and moves on to a machine gun, hard click about once every half second. It started when the machine was new and happened 3 more times. The 1st and 2nd time we had it repaired. Today we are hauling away this nearly new machine. We loved this machine when we were shopping for a new fridge. We got this one because it had a dual compressor and a special thermostatically controlled drawer. Love and joy ended real fast because those are things that broke first. (We are 2 old people and we hardly go into the refrigerator -- so you cant blame any problems on kids and abusive overuse.) We hear our problem this week is a broken diverter -- will only be a mere $750 to fix. Right now our shiny, stainless unit is sitting on the sidewalk. Our fabulous new fridge from Home Depot is a top of the line LG for several hundred $ less than $2000 -- LG getting about 5 stars from reviews. Now that Im looking at general reviews about Samsung, everything they make seems to be horrible. How could that be?! We used to buy a ton of Samsung stuff -- not anymore. There are so many little, bad issues with this fridge and I see nearly 1500 complaints (a lot of them from 2015!). All I can say is -- get an LG from Costco or Home Depot -- they seemed to have the best price, haul away fee, etc.

Absolutely the biggest piece of junk Ive ever owned and I made the mistake
Absolutely the biggest piece of junk Ive ever owned and I made the mistake of buying a refrigerator from them twice. First refrigerator had issues with the ice maker the first year. Got that resolved.... maybe? We moved out of that house so who knows what the new owners had to deal with after we left. Bought another Samsung for the new house. Biggest mistake ever. Again, ice maker down in the first year. Had their awful Service Quick service out twice to get that fixed. Then the entire refrigerator dies a year later. Condenser just gives out. Its still under warranty so they try to fix it and fail miserably. Tech burns a whole in my floor while using a blow torch. That nonsense of trying to fix it went on for two weeks. Now they are supposed to fix the floor and bring out a new refrigerator. We are six weeks into this mess and still no refrigerator. Ive been lied to repeatedly about the process and how long it will take. Theyve put information in wrong, further delaying the process. Its completely ridiculous and they never do anything to expedite the service and make it right. Pandemic has been used an excuse multiple times which is total BS since they are essential and never closed and neither has the trucking company. DO NOT BUY A SAMSUNG APPLIANCE.

Less than 2 years after purchasing our Samsung RF266AEPN refrigerator, the fridge started making VERY loud sounds. Turns out the evaporation coil in the back wall of the fridge had a huge build up of ice due to a poor design. This ice made it impossible for the cooling mechanism to function properly. We spent hours carefully melting the ice away and clearing the coil of ice, and putting everything back together. This has become a twice annual ritual. Now new symptoms have developed that will necessitate spending money to repair this piece of junk.

We bought a Samsung French door refrigerator on June 28, 2012. Only a few days after purchase, spots began showing on the stainless steel doors. I called Samsung and read their suggestions online, which was to use a stainless steel cleaner as well as WD 40, but nothing removed the spots. They grew worse until the entire door was covered. I have been completing service requests with Samsung for three months now. Samsung canceled the first two requests and finally sent a Samsung service company to look at our fridge. The service company said they have never seen it before, and that it was most likely a finish defect. Instead of taking care of the issue, Samsung is refusing to replace the doors, stating that it was a cosmetic issue. As you can see by the picture, it is a serious issue on this $2600 piece of crap that Samsung refuses to repair. I own four Samsung TVs and other items, but I will never buy another Samsung product. In 2010 our old dishwasher refused its duty after nearly 10 years of work. It was an AEG/Whirlpool and it made his work properly. So my wife and I decided to buy a new one. At last we gave the Samsung DW-SG720T a try and expected the same performance. First both of us discovered that nearly every dish was not clean at all. We changed the program to the hottest possible cleaning, but the machine did not meet the minimum requirements for cleaning knifes that are simply covered with peanut butter. This night (!) the machines front door stood open, after cleaning and after nearly 5 (five) hours ending the cleaning program without errors, the machine started to turn on the pump and made a signal while showing OE. My wife and I woke up, got downstairs in the kitchen and I had to turn off the fuse to stop it - it has been 1:20 am in the morning. Thanks a lot, Samsung! OE means overflow error but in fact there is no water in the machine after draining. I am angry about this piece of **. My recommendation is: Samsung? Hands off! I am interested in what the support is trying to tell me. Next time: AEG/Whirlpool, which is the same here in Germany.

Ice start to build up in the bottom of the panel in the back of the freezer
Ice start to build up in the bottom of the panel in the back of the freezer. I had to remove back panel, use hair drier to remove ice and make sure drain was not clogged. Worked fine for about 3 weeks and repeated. Do a lot of research on this problem and called Samsung. Response was that fridge was out of warranty and that any repairs would be at my cost. I insisted of the many reports of problems in the defroster, evaporator, sensors and even faulty tray reported both here and UK and inquired about whether this was an well known problem and if there was some form of solution or repair. Response was that I would be responsible for all repairs and was given closest authorized repair close to 35 miles from home. I tried the forced defrost using control panel buttons, based on technical manual and reports from other people but did not work. Already twice into freezer defrost with hair drier. Fridge also started showing high temperature on panel and blinking, just as had happened to freezer. Assuming some form of dependency between fridge and freezer defrost, I went and defrosted both sides, removing back panels and again made sure drain was not clogged. Today freezer started blinking again. There is a lot of information on the net about issues with this and similar series of this fridge. I cant believe Samsung is and wasnt aware of this defect when also lawsuits exist in the UK for this same issues of defective evaporator, sensors, gaskets, etc.I am done with Samsung. Customer service far from acknowledging problem or offering repair of a known defect simply indicated it is at my cost. I would like to know what is the number of reported cases in this and similar series. I have purchased several Samsung products but this fridge is by far the more costly one. This experience, first on the failure of the product then followed by Samsungs balking and not standing on quality principles and customer satisfaction, made me lose interest in the brand and this will be reflected on all of my future choices, be it computers, wireless, TV, tablets, etc. I am really disappointed and I feel I was sold a defective product, with a known defect and for which the company is not standing up.

I am following up on my last post on this appliance. I was promised a callback yesterday in regards to my freezer not working in my 7-month-old Samsung (4-door). I called today and was told by Alicia at Samsungs executive customer relations line that they will not honor my request for reimbursement for the food I lost. She said because the freezer started freezing again, there is nothing wrong with it and it doesnt need a service call. She said that if they sent someone to service it, they would have reimbursed me for the food. I told her to send someone as appliances are not self-healing and there has to be a problem for this to happen in the first place and I am afraid to put anything else in the freezer. She told me I must have pushed a button, such as the child lock button for this to have happened. I have never touched this panel. It is exactly as it was when it was installed. I also wonder why if the child lock button had been pushed, would all the food thaw out? She said they could do nothing for me. No service call, no reimbursement.

Price was over $300.00 and this appears to be a very common issue at around the 18th month of usage mark per the complaints online I have read. Of course, I called the company and they state, Too bad, it is out of warranty (12 months). The company needs to look at the business they are losing over what could be a small fix. I will no longer purchase any Samsung products. I was a dedicated Samsung customer because the quality was there in the past. In this economy, you would think that a company would value the customers they have and when they see a defect like this, they should address it, not just brush it off. Samsung needs to look at Tylenol for an example of going above and beyond for its customers. So with that said, I have a $350 microwave that lasted less than 2.5 years so maybe I will just purchase a cheap microwave every year. At least, I will get a new one each year and may be more cost effective,

Samsung ref is the pits, I have replaced the control panel and the replacement has stopped working correctly. I have replaced the water inlet valves and now one of them is no longer working properly. The ice maker overfills and freezes the cubes in a giant lump. And all of this happens just after the warranty expired, of course. I owned a Samsung ref, stove, micro, dishwasher, washer and dryer - all are less than 7 years old. I have had to replace the dishwasher and washer and dryer. I will never purchase another Samsung appliance.

We purchased this dishwasher as part of a package deal at Home Depot. We have had serious mold issues with this machine. Now it has an error message, water overload, that on further review, is a known problem with this machine. I have contacted Samsung thru their Facebook site, and was basically told We are sorry about your frustrations. They refuse to replace or repair this machine. I would like to see who all would like to get involved with a class action law suit. This product is a serious piece of junk, and the company refuses to do anything about it.

The problem has reemerged now with 1.5 x 2 piece of hard white plastic and dime size piece of styrofoam.

In 2013 we purchased a Samsung Refrigerator French door up and down. We paid 2,999.00. First we had the ice bucket replaced twice. This took several months each time to get a service order number. The problem existed. Finally the third repairman told us there was a Freon leak which couldnt be fixed. In March 2015, Samsung finally agreed it was a manufacturing problem and we would be refunded the full amount of our purchase price. I have made well over 50 documented calls to find out when we would receive our check. We have been without a refrigerator for over three months. Each time I call, I speak to a different person. I have been told I would receive a satisfaction survey many times which I have never received. We are still waiting for our check which was apparently mailed over a month ago. This whole experience has convinced me Samsung does not care one bit about their Customer Service. We have many Samsung products. I now pray nothing happens to any other Samsung product. Im not sure I could go through this awful nightmare again.

The LOUD popping and BOOM noises! Samsung needs to be held responsible for selling and continuing to sell defective refrigerators for years it seems. I have model RF263BEAESR and the noises sometimes make me jump out of bed! I see after reading many reviews here, that so many people have this same problem. Service is coming out again to fix it, but the fix lasts a week, so what good is that? I bought it from Best Buy with all the rest of the appliances. Its a year of hell now and I am thinking about just contacting the credit card company and let them fight between themselves. I dont even want a new Samsung fridge in return. I want a comparable new one from a total different brand!!! THE WORST!!!

I, like everyone else, got the Samsung SE error out of nowhere, at around 18 months after purchase. I read all these reviews today and was about to go shopping to replace my SMH9187ST microwave. After power cycling it, the SE error would come back between two minutes and immediately. So far, after I did what I did, it hasnt happened in 8 hours. So here is what I did. Hopefully this will work for someone else. All you need is a Philips-head screwdriver and I didnt even have to remove the microwave from where it was mounted.Take out the top two screws. They fasten the top front vent grill to the microwave. To remove the vent grill, simply slide it to the left and pull out. Now when that is removed, you now have access to the one Phillips-head screw that holds on the dreaded keypad on the right of the microwave. Remove that screw. Then, slide the keypad assembly up and wiggle left and right to slide the fingers that hold it on to the microwave free from the slots they are in. Now once that is free, you can pull it out and see the few connectors that connect the keypad to the rest of the microwave. There is a white connector and a blue connector towards the bottom of the back of the keypad assembly. I simply reseated those connectors. Meaning, I unplugged them then plugged them back in making sure they were snug. The blue connector seemed to be a little loose when I went to reseat it. Im thinking maybe it had backed its way out somehow and was causing a bad connection, therefore giving me the SE error. But thats it. Line up the keypad assembly fingers back up with their proper slots and slide it down, therefore lining up the screw hole on the keypad assembly with the screw hole on the microwave and put that screw back in. Then slide the top front vent grill back on from left to right after lining up the little fingers with the slots they fit in. Then screw back in those two screws that hold the grill on. My beeping that was happening has now stopped and Ive microwaved a few things since. It took me no more than five minutes to figure out how to open it up, reseat the connectors, and put it back together. So far, problem seems solved!

Samsung RF-28hdedbsr - WOW! Thought I had done my due diligence before buying this refrigerator but unfortunately I never saw this site. Purchased this appliance for several thousands of dollars in May 2016 and worked fine until July 2017 when ice maker quit functioning properly. The problem is that when ice bucket was full the sensor quit telling the ice maker to stop filling the trays. It just kept filling and dumping ice until unit was so full that it froze up everything. Then like everyone else I had to use hairdryer to unthaw the ice maker compartment. This worked a couple of times but now ice maker has totally quit working. What a POS!Of course out of factory warranty and did not buy extended warranty as every GE, Kenmore, Frigidaire refrigerator I have ever purchased over the last 40 years havent had any problems. Big mistake. NEVER PURCHASE ANY SAMSUNG APPLIANCE again tv, fridge microwave etc. With so many complaints why hasnt some govt agency gotten involved or a class action lawsuit been filed to make Samsung recall or fix this problem as they are obviously selling a defective product.

I have never written a online review before, but feel compelled to warn consumers regarding Samsung products. I purchased a Samsung, over the range Microwave from Home Depot (Model #SMH181613) in December 2013. The microwave stopped working in March just three months after the warranty expired. While I did not expect the microwave to last forever, 15 months is a short life for any appliance. This would not be so bad if I had not also purchased a washer and dryer made by Samsung. The washer does not get clothes clean no matter how few clothes you put in the washer or how carefully you follow the instruction for washing. My family take their clothes to the Laundromat!

Wish I could go back in time and choose a fridge other than Samsung RS263TD
Wish I could go back in time and choose a fridge other than Samsung RS263TDRS. Weve owned fridge 4 years and has been a disappointment from day one. Slow water dispenser. Ice dispenser shoots across room. Biggest issue is defroster on fridge side. Several times a year we go through the headache of fridge making loud grinding sound, popping and then inside heating up and spoiling food. Samsung support centre acts like my issue is an isolated problem.First time I paid for a technician. He reported this to me as common issue, a manufacturing default and inserted a spacer between fan to add more air flow. He acknowledged this was only a bandaid solution and that I should be proactive and when I hear ice starting to build up on fan, to defrost fridge for two days. This has become a burdensome issue now and we defrost our fridge three to four times a year. After doing this our fridge resumes cooling efficiently but then a few months go by and ice and water build up below crisper. I will never buy another Samsung product and discourage other consumers from buying their product. Samsung is robbing consumers and their callous approach to Customer Service is unacceptable.

DO NOT BUY SAMSUNG APPLIANCES! Consumer Alert - Do Not Buy Samsung Kitchen Appliances. In 2017, we purchased a Samsung Refrigerator, Range, Microwave and Dishwasher. 3 years later, all but the range have required repair two or more times! Our dishwasher has been out service for nearly 8 weeks now. JCPenneys is gone, Asurion Warranty won’t replace it because it’s a service warranty only. A&E Factory Service kept us waiting all day, showed up at 6pm to tell us that the technician that was here two weeks ago was wrong; we need a different part and they can’t come back for 17 more days! Calling A&E’s “Customer Service” connects you to some foreign country and a rep that reads to you off a scripted cue card and suggests you should use the website for ‘better service’! May I repeat.... DON’T BUY SAMSUNG KITCHEN APPLIANCES!

We purchased the WaterWall dishwasher, three rack on March 22/2016. But we did not have it delivered until mid May because we didn’t move into our house until then. We actually paid 999.00 for it. Up until 6 weeks ago we had no problems with it. We are a retired couple with no children in our home. I would load and use the dishwasher about every 2-3 days. Being only two of us, it wasn’t over worked at all. The Famous 7 E code came to our attention. Not knowing a whole lot about the dishwasher I contacted Samsung and basically got told, I had no warranty. To make matters worse I live 3.5 hours from a appliance repair company. Knowing we could not afford a call out fee for someone to travel to and from our home never mind the cost of the repair, we decided after reading so many complaints about this model we would buy a different brand. It would be cheaper in the long run. My only concern is that if youre going to buy a major appliance. Do your homework and look it up on the reviews. I wish I had done mine and I definitely wouldn’t have bought this machine.

I purchased an expensive french door Samsung refrigerator with bottom freez
I purchased an expensive french door Samsung refrigerator with bottom freezer from Lowes. When the refrigerator was less than a year old, I noticed the freezer was frosting up. But then the problem went away only to return a couple months later but this time the whole freezer iced up. Lowes said it was out of warranty so they gave me Samsungs number. A Samsung repairman came out and blamed the problem on not closing the door properly. He defrosted the freezer and after that, the freezer stopped working completely. A second call to Samsung and the same repairman showed up. This time he said to repair it, he would have to weld and refill the freon but that would cause a lot of smoke in the kitchen and there was some risk in bringing in canisters of flammable gas, etc. He wasnt too eager to do the repair and felt the refrigerator should be replaced by Samsung. Given his track record I wasnt confident about this repair. Samsung has refused to replace the refrigerator, pay for the labor to repair it, and send a different repairman. I will never purchase another Samsung product.

Send email saying must be ice maker, suggest have it serviced. 4) They have no notes of conversation and everything must be repeated, they have nice people and great phone manners but are under-trained and clearly lack the support they need to do their job. In Nov the wife and I bought a new fridge from Warners Stellian... The old one was getting a bit worn. So we settled on a Samsung bottom freezer model that has an internal ice maker and filtered water dispenser. We got it delivered, set up, and running no problem. It took about 3 days of running water through the system to get it tasting like decent water to start with. One week to the day after delivery, the water dispenser stopped working. We called Warner Stellian and they scheduled a tech to come out in just over a week. The tech looked at it, couldnt figure out why the part wasnt working the way it should be, and said hed order a new one. A week later we get a call from them and they told us that the part wasnt in and due to Samsung redesigning the part we would be getting a brand new fridge. I scheduled a tech from both Warner Stellian and Samsung to come look at it. The guy from Samsung was supposed to be here before the other guy so I was happy. The morning the tech was supposed to come out from Samsung, he was going to call me before 9 to tell me what time he would be here. At 9:30 I texted them and told them I hadnt gotten a call. SHe texted me back and said she would reach out to him. Three hours later I still hadnt heard anything, so I texted again. She texted me back and said Oh Im sorry. The tech called in sick today and we didnt find out about it till a short time ago. WTF???? Three weeks later we finally get the new one. Before they left after delivering it I made sure it worked the way it should. One week to the day after getting it delivered and set up, the water dispenser stopped working. Turns out the redesign wasnt actually a redesign. The work-around the company put out wasnt done on this particular model. The tech puts in a stopgap to at least allow the water to work until they can get the right part in. A week and a half later, they get the part and schedule the tech to come out. He replaces the part and its working again. The fridge worked great for about 3 weeks until last Sunday. We noticed the freezer wasnt working right, then realized the fridge wasnt cooling either. So the tech comes out yesterday, and says he cant figure out exactly what it is. EIther the compressor or the main board. So they have ordered both parts. The parts will arrive in 3-5 business days and then who knows how long it will take for the tech to come out and actually replace the part. Carissa and my grandson are here this week, they arrived last Thursday. So now what food I was able to save is down in the garage in boxes or our chest freezer. My warranty has a provision that allows us to claim $250 worth of groceries but that is a drop in the bucket. Its daily trips to the store because we dont want to keep anything for too long. The food we would have replaced isnt yet because I dont have a place to put it. Warners Stellian says the company has to ok a return of the item and they said since its a new fridge, they will fix it. Their customer support tells me Im sorry for your inconvenience, I hope it can be fixed very soon, or My apologies for this experience.

I purchased a Samsung refrigerator approximately 3 years ago. The refrigerator started making a loud noise and would stop when the door was opened. The noise would start again when the door was closed. I googled the problem and discovered many other Samsung refrigerators had done the same thing. The solution was to unplug it and defrost the freezer. So I do that about once a month. Now the entire refrigerator has started to freeze up and the ice maker has stopped working.
