Apparently either Consumer Affairs OR Samsung does NOT want reviews of clothes washers as that is no longer a product which can be reviewed. Ours is 3 years old, sat in our basement for nearly a year from the time it was new until we finished our house. Only two people in the house, used once every two weeks. Lots of issues with not filling, not pumping water, not spinning. Samsung says Too bad. You should have paid even more than the $520 so we would fix that piece of crap....sucker!

After 2 years, this stove broke during the self clean cycle (only 2nd time I ran self clean). I tried calling Samsung and they were no assistance. They gave me the name of several repair facilities none of which were still in business or willing to come to my town which by the way is not large but still has 60,000 people living in it. Samsung does not provide any service whatsoever once a product is out of warranty. I was put on hold for 40 minutes - tried talking to a supervisor who promised to call me back with a list of repair facilities and they never did. I spent almost $4000 on this range and after two years it has broken and I cannot get it serviced. I am building a new home and will never ever again by Samsung appliances. I could have lived with a quality issue but not with the absolute zero service and willing to help issue. I have heard that Samsung tries to make getting service so horrendous that people will just buy another unit rather than fixing it. To spend $4000 on a stove that only lasts 2 years is unacceptable!

Had a brand new (manufactured August 2013) Samsung SMH1816B OTR microwave oven installed on 2013-10-05. As soon as the installer plugged it in for the first time, it immediately turned itself on (magnetron engaged) and nothing except unplugging it would turn it off. Installer was unable to resolve the problem, even with telephone support from Samsung. A replacement will have to be ordered. Meanwhile, we have no microwave. This is my first Samsung product experience of any kind.

The Samsung microwave SMH8165ST was purchased approximately 2 years ago from Lowes. First the light kept coming on and off by itself for a day or two. We unplugged overnight, same thing. Then the SE code came on. We looked online and there were many, many complaints about the SE code and at the same age of microwave as ours. Some people suggested taking off the touch board, replugging everything and putting it back. For some it worked. We simply plugged and unplugged the wires inside, replaced. Now the microwave is completely dead. Customer service just gave me a number to buy a new keypad. No more Samsung for us.

I purchase a Samsung 4 door refrigerator model RF32FMQDBSR/AA around October/November 2013. Since then the icemaker has never worked properly even after I called a technician to come fix it and constantly defrosting the icemaker because ice built up inside and it would not work at all. NOW the refrigerator will not cool down... stays around 53 degrees and that is too warm to keep milk and other luncheon meat fresh up to expire date. The worst thing is I have not had it even 4 years yet. Looking at some of the other reviews, I now see that it was a mistake to buy SAMSUNG appliances... I have a Samsung top load washing machine also and see there was a recall on some models. Anyways if it is too costly to have this Fridge fix I will cut my losses and just buy another refrigerator. I strongly feel that SAMSUNG should take responsibility and recall this model. Since that is not likely I will never buy NOTHING Samsung again.

Purchased a Samsung RF263BEAESR/AA french door fridge. 09/21/12 started having issues with the refrigerator. Coils freezing causing the twin cooling fans to hit the ice and make loud noises. It woke me up and was so loud I thought someone was breaking into my house. Of course it was just after the warranty expired and I paid them approx $150 to come out replace a Defrost Sensor, Evaporator Cover, and Drain Kit. The service guy called Samsung and strongly said they should pay for the parts (I felt he knew there are ongoing issues with their fridges and felt bad for me) and they did (parts are cheap). The other issue was the ice maker. The unit is not sealed properly causing warm air from the fridge to enter the ice maker and it freezes up eventually ice cant dump in tray because of the ice build up.They are now making the ice maker sealed up tight because my neighbor has a newer model which 1 year old and I took a peek, no ice build up. They used silicone seal yet one year later same problem so it must be coming in from rear and cant be fixed. I have been removing the ice box and taking a blow dryer once every 2 weeks to melt it. So, I called Samsung 04/07/17 and was trying to get parts to fix the twin cooling fan ice issues after watching YouTube videos and they couldnt give me part #s. Referred me to www.samsungparts.com which is not their company but is approved to sell parts. I told Samsung, I had just got off the phone with them and they gave me your # which is technical support (1.855.726.8721) now youre sending me back to them?I then told her my cooling fan issue, and ice maker issue, how upset and disappointed I was in their product, and that I have a fridge/freezer in my garage that is 16 yrs old and never had a service issue. She told me, We can send a service technician to look at the issue and possibly replace it. I said, You mean charge me? She stated, NO replace it??? I asked her if this was a late April Fools joke. She said, NO... I stated, Does this have something to do with a class action lawsuit I have read about. She didnt answer, but did at the same time... So, I am waiting for the service company to call and schedule an appt. If they decide that the issues I told them are verified I may be getting a new fridge, which is a shocker. The other thing I found out when talking to her she asked in regards to ice build up behind the twin cooling fans, Were the white wheels to the front and bottom of your fridge touching the ground? I stated, Yes. She stated they should not be touching and the fridge needs to be raised tilting back and that when delivered they (Best Buy) should of leveled the refrigerator for me... So Best Buy didnt do it, and neither did the service tech I paid a $150 either. She sent me an e-mail showing a do it yourself How to Level the Refrigerator. So if you are having this issue check it out. May save you a service charge. To melt the ice you need to empty your fridge/freezer for at least 24 hours and tilt it back. May solve the problem. I am leaving mine alone for now hoping for a new fridge... Good Luck.

No satisfaction from Samsung. Oven Clicks when Baking. Says it’s normal. Okay, I can live with that being normal for the way their electrical system is built but my issue is because I have never known in my lifetime that an oven clicks (loudly) while being on. This is not normal for the most customers, so I feel I should have been told about this before purchasing so I could make the decision of whether this would be my new normal while baking. The clicking noise should have also been described by the sales person as a LOUD OBNOXIOUS CLICKING NOISE. I am still working with Samsung to get resolved. I want a full refund. Till you hear they have resolved this issue through consumer reports or updates, DON’T BUY THIS OVEN!

We had our Samsung French Door refrigerator for about six months when the ice maker would not stop making ice when the bucket was full and then get jammed up with ice up at the top of the maker. After clearing the ice and resetting the maker multiple times, I called Samsung. The phone tech was very hard to understand, since he was from India (although he was always polite). He walked me through several resets and then, instead of sending a service tech as I requested, he had me turn the ice maker off for several days and then turn it back on and reset it with the intent of clearing the machine. It did not work. More jamming of ice. Today I called service again and they are sending a service tech with a new ice maker. I will update my experience after the install and a reasonable time to see if it functions correctly. However, I do not feel it was appropriate for them to postpone service when the problem had persisted for almost a month prior to my call and I am not pleased that the ice maker failed when the refrigerator is only six months old.

I purchased a Samsung dishwasher 18 months ago. I have had issues almost since I purchased it. You turn it on and it runs about 15 seconds and then quits. I use to be able to start it three times and then it would run a complete cycle. Now it doesnt work at all. It cost over $600 and it was even purchased during Black Friday so it was a great deal, yeah right! Customer service is absolutely no help, all they offer to do is sell you an extended warranty. This is an ongoing issue, it should be a recall. Seems like this should have been fixed, I will never buy Samsung again. I also work at Home Depot so guess what... I will make sure I share my experience with customers, since Im in the appliance area. Karma...

David in Ohio, I had the same exact situation occur with my microwave. It was made in Feb of 2010. But I did not take possession of it until Sept of 2010. I was storing a freshly made chocolate cake in the microwave when I came home from work to smell a horrible odor of something burnt in my home. I freaked out and began searching for the cause. It wasnt until later that I noticed the code for a short on my microwave. I unplugged it and cleaned the horrible mess out of it. Then I re-plugged it in and reset the clock and tried to warm up a cup of water. Everything worked fine. So I thought, ok, that was weird, how did it turn on by itself? Then as I was going about other business, I heard the microwave turn on.... When I got to it the message screen said it was cooking in Baked Potato mode. Now that was crazy! So I have been without use of my microwave for a few days. I began looking online for any recalls. I did find a similar issue recalled back in early part of the 2000 decade. But nothing recently. Then I saw Davids post. My situation almost EXACTLY!!!! I did also post a complaint on Samsung Supports Facebook page. They replied with a link for me to go to and complete with info for them to get back in contact with me. We will see. I hope this company will stand up and make good on some type of faulty problem with their product. I would hate to have to buy another brand. I already have a Samsung range and was looking at replacing my current Kenmore dishwasher with a Samsung. All depends on how they handle this situation. Obviously it is a mfgs defect. Not caused by anything I did.

We received delivery of our gas range on August 20, 2015, over a week ago. I have only cooked on it three times. Each time I was unable to clean the stainless steel front and stove top. Also, the knobs are very loose and just a small pressure can activate the gas, which I find unacceptable, especially around children. I wish to return this gas range and replace it with another which is not dangerous.

Two technicians from two separate repair places were sent by Samsung and each said the diagnostics were not showing a problem so the unit is working correctly and the company is not at fault. Well the dishes do not get clean, the dryer does not dry, the glasses break because they fall over, and the water glasses actually have food spattered and dried on them when they are removed from the unit. Shame on Samsung for producing a dishwasher that actually ultimately makes glasses dirtier than when they were placed in the machine!

The fan in the refrigerator made a horrible noise. The ice maker stopped working within 2 years. Once we turned it off there was a lot of moisture in the fridge. The back inside had chunks of ice. The temperature was about 52. We threw out food often. To get this fixed would have cost too much money. Samsung does not stand behind this. My kitchen was in desperate need of a makeover so I decided to purchase all new products from Sears and selected Samsung. I so wish that I would have checked with Consumer Affairs first before purchasing (3) Samsung products in 2013 - all of which have had issues. I purchased a double door black refrigerator, a black microwave as well as a black gas range. My refrigerator from day one has had issues with the ice maker not making ice and the refrigerator temperature not working properly. The worst product of all was the microwave oven that caught fire while I granddaughter was cooking a hotdog on a paper plate. The plate caught on fire. There were sparks and flames literally shooting from the microwave. I didnt purchase the extended warranty on the microwave because my experience with good microwaves is that they simply stop working after about 6-7 years. They dont catch on fire! I paid $329 for the microwave and Samsung wanted to charge me $325 for the repairs and continue to give me the run around. The matter is still not resolved. So if you are reading this review... save yourself the trouble. Please do not purchase any Samsung product!

So I bought a whole new appliance package when we had our house built and I bought all Samsung. We took possession of the house March 7, 2014 and a few days over the one year mark when I opened the microwave door it lost power. I tried resetting the breaker, and unplugging and plugging the microwave back in. Finally when I was about to give up I opened and close microwave door a couple of times and the power came back on. I tried contacting my rep who I purchased my appliances through but he didnt get back to me for a couple of weeks because he was out of town. When he got back I was told to contact Samsung directly. When I contacted them they said because I was over the one year mark my warranty was out of date and there was nothing they could do. When I talked to the repair company they said it sounded like a faulty door switch and it happens with Samsung quite often, so now I have to pay $100 out of pocket to pay for them to adjust the switch/wire in the door. Its more than a little frustrating that Samsung can get away with selling these microwaves with faulty door switches and wont stand behind their products.

Four months into it, my wife comes to me saying its not cold, all of the frozen food was thawed and its a mess. After throwing everything out, I called Samsung repair. Talked to someone in India who read from a script. She directed me to some tests I should do first. I did them, didnt work. Called again, more tests. All I want is my fridge fixed. Its under warranty. Whats the problem? Its that they are told not to send anyone and that the consumer should be satisfied spending $1,796.43 for a fridge that worked 4 months. However, it started not finishing the complete normal cycle giving me a s3 code. I had my repairman to look at it ($75). He also had a discussion with online help. We ordered the part ($50). He installed it ($100), still got the same thing and my repairman was told this may not fix it. Then we would have to order a pump, not knowing how much a pump is and $225.00 later and being told this could happen in another 2-4 years. We have bought a new dishwasher, and sure isnt a SAMSUNG. After 13 months and 1 month after the warranty expired. I called Samsung Appliances and reported that I had a software glitch. After the unit finishes a cooking cycle the LED Panel clears itself out, wipes out the memory settings including the clock and takes 5 to 10 retries to reset it. Samsung position is too bad. Out of warranty you pay for our bad software design and motherboard. They will not confirm if this is an isolated or general issue with this machine. Stay away from Samsung. They dont care. From this day forward I will never purchase another Samsung Appliance including the Galaxy Phone. My S7 which is ready to be replaced, also my pending purchase of a 4K OHLED large panel TV will not include Samsung. Going back to SONY. In less than a year, our refrigerator began having problems. The cooling fan begins making a noise as the ice builds up around it until the ice stops the fan from spinning. At this point the fridge stops cooling. The fix involves taking everything out of the fridge, opening up the back, and using a hair dryer to melt the ice. This takes approx 45 min to complete. The ice will continue to build up and the process must be repeated every 2-3 months. In addition, the ice maker is poorly built. The water comes out at a weird angle and most people who use it for the first few times end up hitting the side of their cup and water goes everywhere. The ice also comes out all over the place and misses the cup, ending up all over the floor. The ice maker itself also began to drip water, requiring paper towels set below it that need to be replaced several times a day. Based on a video online I just watch, this may be caused from the seal at the base of the ice maker. I am currently testing out a fix. To top things off, the ice will freeze together inside the ice maker, creating a huge ice dam. Its fun to find out this has happened when you have guests over only to find out you dont have any ice ready for them.Overall, this product is a huge disappointment and I do not recommend a Samsung refrigerator to anyone in the market. If you are reading this you probably have realized how many complaints there are, and they STILL HAVE NOT FIXED THE ISSUES WITH THE NEWER MODELS!!!

My wife and I purchased a new Samsung refrigerator at Lowes here in our town. 2 days after it was delivered there was a puddle of water inside the freezer (caught before it froze) we called them and Lowes sent a tech out to fix it. Three days after that, we had the same problem, so Lowes replaced the whole refrigerator. 2 months later, the ice maker quit making ice, called they sent a repairman out which took two weeks, and got it fixed. Then about 4 months later, it would not dispense ice, again another call and another repair. 3 months later when I would get ice it would not stop and it would keep spitting out ice, need I say it again? Another repair!!!!! Now we are into a year and a half with this piece of ** and now it overfills the water in the ice maker which then freezes and breaks the ice holder, so at this point Lowes said, Sorry, its out of warranty, you need to call Samsung!!! So I call Samsung, they were very helpful gave me a 1 time out of warranty service repair! So again it takes a few weeks but they replace the entire ice maker. Flash forward 6 months to today, 3/6/14, and guess what? Yup you guessed it, its not making ice at all, so I call Samsung and basically am told its out of warranty and after exhausting all resources there is nothing they can do!!!! Oh I almost forgot, after one of the repairs the service tech left me a spare part, and told me, if the ice maker would not stop dispensing ice, here is a spare part to fix it, and of course it did, so I also replaced it once myself!!! This Samsung Refrigerator is the biggest junk I have ever owned I will never ever buy a Samsung product again!!!

Purchase a Samsung Dishwasher DMT300RFS about 2 years ago. It worked fine for 1 year. We started having issues with it cleaning the dishes and glassware. We tried different detergents and cleaning products with no success. Then it stopped working altogether. The instrument panel codes said that it was a drain pump problem so I replaced the drain pump. It would not start and displayed a new code leak sensor. I took the dishwasher apart again, but did not see any water. I made sure that the sensor was dry and put the machine back together. The ice maker had to be replaced, about 6 months ago, now it is doing the same thing freezing up and has to be manually defrosted to work again (about every 2 weeks). The refrigerator is nosier than most - I can handle that - but I like my ice. I would not recommend this refrigerator to anyone that like their ice.Updated on 03/23/2018: Well I am back to the repair mode--ice maker worked for a while. I have had to defrost it twice this month and today when the tech came out, it was frozen up so bad that he had trouble removing the ice bin. Sigh! -They are going to replace the icemaker AGAIN. Thank God for the extended warranty.

We had the absolute worst experience with Samsung. We called because our freezer was 2.5 years old and both ice makers broken in addition to the freezer. Our freezer wasnt staying at the correct temperature. I called to see what, if anything they can do. They advised me that there is no warranty. I requested the information for an authorized Samsung repairer (they did not offer). I was told that I would need to call and set up the appointment since I was no longer under warranty. I expressed how disappointed I was that our refrigerator was broken and was under 3 years old. He continued to reminded me there is no warranty so that was the end of that. I then called the number provided by the Samsung representative and did not speak with anyone. I chatted with a representative over the internet and explained that I could not get in contact with them and explained that I am loyal customer of Samsung for over 10 years and am in need of assistance. He could not do anything other than tell me that my warranty has expired and that I should call the number provided. I called a total of 4 times and left 2 voice messages. I then contacted via chat to beg for help and he then provided a number to Samsung Emergency Help. However at this exact time my husband was at the house with an unauthorized repair company because we have now been 4 days without a refrigerator and have a house of 6 to provide for. The emergency repair representative said that they cannot help because an unauthorized has touched our appliance. The unauthorized repair man confirmed we had a freon leak which was the reason our temperature was not right in both the refrigerator and freezer compartments in addition to having broken ice makers. The Freon had a 5 year warranty and when a supervisor called me back she said I should have looked at the manual and that that was my responsibility. I reminded her that I told the rep I spoke with everything and I am not too savvy when it comes to diagnosing issues with my refrigerator so I did not know it was the freon, I clearly communicated that the freezer and refrigerator temps where not right and the original rep I communicated that too agreed but still told me I have no warranty so I believed I had no warranty.I was repeatedly blamed for not arguing with the rep about the freon and warranty issue. They blamed me for getting a unauthorized repair man, They said I should have kept calling them when I got no response from their authorized repair facility. The chat rep disconnected/hung up on me (still had questions), when I asked to speak with the supervisor - she stated, You actually spoke with my supervisor already, and went on to explain that her supervisor passed it to her to handle when I requested a supervisor and that I could not speak to anyone else. The supervisor blamed me for not setting an appointment up through them (even after I told her I was clearly told that I have to do it). I did not raise my voice nor did I at anytime use vulgarities or insult anyone that I spoke with.I reminded them that I was a loyal customer with over 14 Samsung products that includes appliances, phones, media equipment, and tables and it meant nothing. I suggested they at least give me a coupon to purchase something else and all was denied. I cannot and will not patronize a company that has such bad service. I talked to Samsung 3 times by phone when I called, 2 time when a supervisor called me, and 2 times by chat and I did not have an acceptable experience. I feel as if the product was defective if everything broke within a week of each other and it was only 2.5 years old. Terrible Service, no I am purchasing a new refrigerator and will not consider a Samsung product again.

My 5 year old fridge freezer with a ten year guarantee on the digital compressor recently packed up and they passed me to A Samsung Service Centre namely Elite Digital Appliances, who refused to fix or replace same saying it was the gas cylinder and charged me £235.20 for a 5 minute regassing service. Samsung refuse to accept responsibility after telling me it was covered by the warranty, but later retracted. They have offered £50 as a gesture of goodwill, which I have rejected. Beware of these service centres who are probably in collusion with Samsung to rip customers off. We shall see what the county court says.

I purchased a series of Samsung appliance just less than 2 years ago. They have all, every single one, had problems. The ice maker on the fridge has to be manually defrosted about every 3rd week. When it is working it drips water down the door making the door shelves unusable. The heat sensor on the oven was replaced once already and is now giving problems again, which requires me to pull out and unplug the unit after each time I use the oven. The dishwasher door no longer closes properly, so I have to pull it out and attach a clamp on each side to use it. In each case the problems started just as warranty expired. I have had multiple service calls (at my own cost) and in no case was the problem addressed. The fixes that I have for I learned from the internet. In summary, they are clearly poorly made, the service is non existent, and generally, I plan to make it my goal in life to spread the word about how crappy these appliances are.

My wife and I bought the beautiful new dishwasher and from day one using it the machine doesn’t wash our dishes. If I could give this dishwasher a negative rating I would. It doesn’t deserve a 1 star. We’ve had 3 service calls where techs can’t find anything wrong with it once they run their diagnosis. The tech have given us advice on different types of washing cycles or soap to use and our dishes continue to come out dirty. We’ve even been hand washing prior to putting them in and still come out filthy. Samsung has been horrible to deal with as they just continue to say there is nothing more they can do for us at this time even though they understand it’s not washing. I would never purchase from them again as they do not stand behind their products. I’m not asking for much. Just a dishwasher that washes the dishes. Service ticket number # **.

I called Samsung customer service to find out what I can do for my stove that displays an error code and will not work. I was told by the rep to unplug it then plug it back in. I did that and it still wouldnt work. I was referred to another department that tried to sell me a service plan for almost $300. That I cannot afford. I cant believe a stove less than 2 years old has this many problems. All I can say is buyers beware. Dont spend your hard earned money on this product if you are not prepared to shell out more money 1+ year later. I had an old stove that was purchased in the 60s that was so reliable. This is a downgrade from that. They should be embarrassed with this inferior product. I hope this review can save someone else from the frustration I feel.

I purchased my refrigerator on the 16-7-13 model SR690GDLS, 7 months later
I purchased my refrigerator on the 16-7-13 model SR690GDLS, 7 months later there was a bubble in the door underneath the water dispenser. The whole door was replaced on the 1-4-17 and the top drip tray part that was faulty in its design as it had holes in it so the water would drip into the bottom tray. This was replaced with one that did not have any holes in it so the water could not go in to the bottom tray. I was told that this would fix the problem. Then after 3 months the plastic around the glass started to crack. I had them replaced on the 4-8-14. Samsung rang me a few days later and said they were extremely sorry for all the trouble and sent me two movie tickets. Two weeks later I notice another bubble on the new door. I rang Samsung again, they sent another door out and another top drip tray with no holes and replaced them on the 9-9-14 only 5 months since the last door was fitted. I suggested to the repairman that the underneath tray may be the faulty one as it was not replaced last time and that the same thing has happened again and that may be the problem and could he please replace that part also. He said that I would have to ring Samsung and order it so I rang Samsung while he was finishing off and they asked to speak to him. He told them that it wasnt faulty and that he replaced what was sent. I then explained the situation again to Samsung and said that that was his opinion. But my opinion is that it must be faulty as it is the only part that has not been replaced and I have had the same problem and do not want it to happen again. She said she would order the part and call me back. 30mins later she called and said they did not think that the part is faulty and that if I ask them to send it out, I have to pay for it. As you can see I am not happy with this situation and the problem is not fixed as I do not have a guarantee that it will not happen again.

I bought a Samsung Rs2530 Bbp refrigerator from Best Buy in October 2008. It made a lot of ice at first, and we never ran out. In less than a year, it stopped cooling and decreased ice output. I set up a service call, and they replaced something inside behind the icemaker. They told me I needed to have less stuff in the freezer for it to work right. They extended my warranty to three months, and said the icemaker would work. On Christmas Eve, it quit cooling completely; they couldn’t get anyone out until after New Year’s Day. That ruined all my food and our holiday. They then said I cancelled the service call the day I took off to meet with them, and that I had to reschedule. That meant two vacation days off work. They got it running, but it still didnt make much ice. Then the warranty was over. Back in June, the power went out and it quit cooling again. I had one light flashing on the front. I found Jonathan ** of ARC who said he could work on Samsung appliances, and could come the same day--unlike the people Samsung wanted me to use. However, a few hours later the refrigerator just started working, so I told Jonathan I would get him to fix the icemaker in a few weeks. The power went out again last Wednesday; it stopped cooling, and I got the same flashing light. I tried to research the problem online. I found out that either the unit could be reset (didnt work), or it could resolve itself (didnt happen the first day like last time). Also, it could either need a control board (found for $60-$70 dollars), or depending on which light was flashing it could indicate a faulty sensor. Since I didnt know which, I had to call Jonathan. I told him I needed to know what part to replace. He came in asking questions like he hadnt spoken to me like, “So what is this flashing light for?”, “It just isnt freezing?”, “Looks like its working...the lights come on when I opened it.” and “Let me check the compressor.” After digging in it for a little longer, he asked me about the flashing light AGAIN, and said it was the control board. He could fix it for $450.20! He said the spare part was $260 and that he could get it in about three days. He would apply the $89 he was charging for the service call to the bill, or that he could get me the same refrigerator new for about $2000 or used for $1000. Really? I paid less than $900 when I bought it new. I decided to take a loss on the $89, and get the control board since he gave me the part number. Guess what? It wasnt the control board. I replaced it; I tried all the resetting and still had the same problem. I left it in a few hours to see if it would start working. Nope. I took it back out hoping the parts store would take it back. They wouldnt. I stopped payment on Jonathans $89 check, since I was now out of $72 more because of his wrong information, and the food decaying in my refrigerator and freezer. He not only tried to overcharge me for 5 minutes of work, he also misdiagnosed the problem and knew less about it than I did. I decided to just get a used refrigerator over the weekend, but late Friday it just randomly started working again. Okay. I bought new food and cleaned it out. We had a thunderstorm today and lost power. You know the rest; flashing light, not cooling and no one can fix it unless it fixes itself. Samsung shouldnt make refrigerators as I see this or similar problems all over. Jonathan ** of ARC is not qualified to diagnose or make repairs, and will rip you off.

I bought this dishwasher because it was recommended in the press as a good product. My experience with a Samsung dishwasher is nothing but problems. The dishwasher will not clean the dishes properly even after you rinse them down to start. I have had to replace the pump on this dishwasher twice and the service charge is around 200 dollars a visit. This is over a 28 month period. My advice to anyone wishing to buy a Samsung dishwasher should look at another product and leave this one alone.

We called and Samsung said sorry it’s out of Warranty. It’s a year old and the ice maker is still frozen up and sometimes melts and drips water. It costs a lot out of pocket to get it fixed. On top of that the middle drawer electric cords that operate temp was pinched so that didn’t work. Also I don’t think the fridge runs at the correct temp! From day 1 of purchase it is not working well - does not cool, there is water puddle formation in front of the refrigerator (it is supposed to refrost type). Despite getting a Samsung technician and having it repaired twice still the problem is persisting. I even paid Rs 300-400 both times for the repair even though it is under warranty. I even offered to ship it at my own cost back to Samsung and forget about it and would like to buy another refrigerator from another company that is more reliable and responsive. I have a Samsung Model RFG297HDPN French door refrigerator. Six weeks ago the ice maker stopped working. I removed the ice maker and brought it to a repair shop. They checked the ice maker and it was working properly. I contacted Samsung and they gave me the name of an authorized Samsung repair center. The service man came out, checked the ice maker and said it was fine. He then checked the water valve going to the ice maker and said it was bad. He tried ordering just the valve, but Samsung stopped selling just the valve due to water leaking problems occurring by just changing the valve. He had to order an entire valve assembly. The service man stated Samsung had upgraded the valve assembly four times in the past 3 to 4 years, due to problems. The new valve assembly arrived yesterday after being delayed for over 4 weeks. Eighteen hours after the new valve assembly was installed the ice maker has not produced one cube of ice. Contacted the service man again this morning and he is coming out on Monday and will try installing a new ice maker. Like so many other articles I read, Samsung does not stand by their products. There are page, after page, after page of complaints regarding Samsung refrigerators. A $3,000.00 refrigerator and the company has the worse service in the industry. Im now contacting my State government consumer affairs agency, and filing a complaint. Im also contacting law firms and hopefully will find one that will file a class action suit against Samsung.

We have had the Samsung Refrigerator Model RF263BEAEWW/AA for about 1 1/2 years now which we purchased from Conns... a.k.a. Cons. This will be the 3rd time that we will have to call the repair service for repair. Because our refrigerator is out of warranty, we are, so to speak, been screwed by the pooch. Conns will not step up to the plate and offer any kind of service or help... Will never go there again, nor recommend that store. (NFM here I come). Nor will Samsung say that there is any problem with this defective product though they have Class Action Lawsuits against them for similar products. Needless to say, we will never step foot into a Conns (Cons) store again, nor buy Samsung if they will not stand behind their product. If anyone has any suggestions or help, it would be appreciated.

We have had nothing but problems with our Samsung refrigerator model RF24J996054. We have to defrost the ice maker at least every other week. The ice is soft, and gets stuck when dispensing. Further, the bin to store ice, does not hold enough ice to make it worthwhile. We are thankful that we have our old Jenn-Air in the garage. It is a workhorse. It is sad after spending sooo much money on a new refrigerator, we are traveling back and forth to the garage to get ice. We are in the middle of yet another repair, and have been waiting over two months for the part. I called today, again, and am being told that the part is not available. Really? So now what do we do? My complaint no. **. Samsung refrigerator broke down after just 1.5 years in service. When you call the customer care they happily say that your warranty has expired and inform that you have to pay INR 400 for the service engineer to visit and analyze the fault first. And imagine the pain when you have to hear one service engineer tells you that the coil is spoilt and gas is leaking, and that you have to pay INR 4000 to rectify these, for a product you paid INR 14000 just 1.5 years back. Over and above this, they say they have no backup spares and it will take 6 days to get it from Delhi (!) in India in a hot and humid climate. Imagine how to manage food without cooling options at home? The call centre is pathetic... Pls. dont buy Samsung home appliances. That customer care execs are sweet spoken, and will speak a lot of Hindi and English but are unable to provide a solution. In spite of making daily calls and telling them that I cannot afford to wait for 6 days, they will make empty promises that they will resolve this as soon as possible but its just a formality and they make no attempts to solve your problems... Your product fails within 1.5 years of purchase. It takes 6 to 7 days for spares to be available. It costs 30% of the product basic price to repair your product just within 1.5 years of purchase. Over and above imagine the pain and agony customer has to go through because there is no cooling option for food at home. At this rate I could have easily purchased a fridge from a roadside vendor who would have given better services than Samsung at half the rate. Give me 1 reason why should customer buy Samsung product for double the rate for such pathetic services. Now you know why Samsung’s mobile phone business is suffering. I am pretty confident their appliances division will be meet the same fate…

Not sure what we will do when warranty expires. Do not buy this refrigerator. You will be disappointed and if you do make the poor decision to buy Samsung refrigerator buy extended warranty.

A few years ago, I bought a Samsung oven/range/stove. Today, I pressed the self-clean button. The oven status display started beeping and displayed an error code E-0E and flashed an icon of a padlock. I researched trouble shooting, tried to reset, powered cycled, etc. Nothing worked. The oven no longer works - it only flashes the display - E-0E and there is no way to stop it. I called Samsung and after getting a magnifying glass and super bright light to read the M/C number and serial number ON THE BOTTOM OF THE OVEN, the lady told me the unit was out of warranty (big surprise). She then told me that for about $300.00 (about 40% of the price of the oven), I could buy a warranty and it would cover the repair. I said no - so they transferred me to a service number where they informed me it would cost about $225.00 for a service call to diagnose the problem. I asked them why the oven was equipped with a self-destruct button - and how it is possible that an oven could die after barely 2 years of light use. No answer.

BOUGHT SAMSUNG FRIDGE & DISHWASHER FOR A TOTAL OF over three thousand dollars. Spent 2 hours with their service rep, to no avail, with no help. Except kept putting me on hold over and over. When calling & asking for help Kept me on the phone for more than 2 hours total. The fridge keeps freezing over in the bottom and Deli drawers, Dish washer leaks and replaced both flow meter replaced turbidity sensor both sensors in dish washer at a cost of over four hundred $$ for service & parts from Samsung and repair shop. So both still dont work and repair man coming again tomorrow for the 4th time at a other service charge. Each time on returning service call one hundred thirty five dollars each. Dish washer wont fill & leaks... and fridge drain lines still clogged, fan wont work either in bottom of fridge compartment. Bottom deli drawers fill with water. This is been going on for several weeks now. Very poor customer service. Suggest any one check out other problems before you buy, dont just take my experience as judgment. Check out other also.

RF263BEAESER - I have had this $2700.00 refrigerator for 8 months and had to call a repairman out for the 2nd time because the freezer quit working again! We have lost between $400.00 and $500.00 in frozen meats, dinners, etc. from spoiling and simply cannot afford to keep doing this. The French doors do not seal properly and food spoils easily in the refrigerator as well. I dont trust this appliance any further than I could throw it and Samsung refuses to take responsibility for the faulty design! Worst experience of my life - I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER SAMSUNG PRODUCT AS LONG AS I LIVE. Hey Samsung... can you comprehend lawsuit?

My husband and I purchased a Samsung refrigerator in August of 2015; it was not the most expensive refrigerator but it was far from the cheapest. About a month after the refrigerator was installed, we started hearing this really loud noise while the refrigerator was running, as if the refrigerator was a jet about to take off. The noise gradually got louder over time, so every time the refrigerator started running, we would hear this loud noise. The noise was so loud that we could not hear our television in the other room. I contacted Samsung about the concern and they sent out a technician who claimed the noise was normal for all Samsung refrigerators. After the technician left, I called Samsung to speak with a manager and the manager advised me to record the noise and call back; I did just this the same week. The representative at Samsung that listened to the recording of my refrigerator stated that the noise is not normal and that the compressor is going out and needs to be replaced along with a hose. I was told that day that these items were being ordered (this was approximately 2 months ago now). I have called several times to find out what is going on with the parts because no one has come by to install them. Samsung transfers me from person to person and department to department; the only answer I get is there is a ticket for the parts. No one can tell me what is going on and no one offers any assistance. Samsung appliances are by far the worst! Do not purchase Samsung appliances!!! We have a refrigerator, dishwasher, oven, microwave, washer and dryer all from Samsung and the only appliance that works properly is the oven!!! I will never again purchase anything from Samsung and I advise all others to run the other way! Their appliances are horrible and their customer service is even worse! They do not stand behind their warranty and will transfer you around until you either give up or they can claim its out of warranty so they no longer have to help.

This Samsung dmr78ahs dishwasher has been nothing but trouble. We constant failures. There are rope cables attached to springs that counterweight the door. They constantly break. The upper basket adjuster brackets fail yearly. Now the water inlet valve is leaking. These are all poor component quality issues and design problems. My cheap builder installed dishwasher lasted 15 years without a single issue. I just got tired of the noise. Junk, Junk, Junk!

We purchased the door-in-door, Samsung, side by side refrigerator in November 2016, from Best Buy. We are extremely happy with the larger refrigerator with easy access to beverages. However, the ice maker and water dispenser are the worst. Not only is the ice maker very loud but it ices up and needs to be removed and cleaned out constantly. Also, there isnt any easy access to the ice from inside the door when you need large amounts of ice without taking the unit out. Even with these small problems, the overall reaction is that this was the perfect refrigerator for our family.

Long going problem with the refrigerator building ice and the drain system clogged. I wrote a complain back in September 2014. Every two weeks I have to melt the ice with my wifes Blower and drain hot water to the draining system. I cant do this any longer Im sick of it. I didnt buy a New refrigerator to be a SLAVE of it. It was supposed to service me. Not the other way around. My question to Consumer Affairs is why hasnt the U.S. Government taken action against Samsung? Many other complaints as the same as mine.

#1. Ice maker froze up. From internet, learned this is a common defect. Had to trim plastic parts and dismantle ice maker to fix. #2. Very difficult to clean shelves and drawers. Gunk gets under glass and inside (!) of drawer fronts. You have to use a screwdriver to pry open plastic tabs. The prying process tends to chip the plastic permanently damaging the pieces. Other than these major design flaws, the refrigerator has kept food well. But being able to clean ones refrigerator easily without damaging it is such a basic critical design feature for me that I will steer me away from Samsung products in the future.

I have a Samsung dishwasher that was manufactured in 2011 (model number DMT400RHS). It has several physical defects. The lower front cover (part Number AP4342361) caught on the door repeatedly and bent, which requires me to periodically rescrew it to the dishwasher. A prong on my upper dish rack snapped off and is rusting. The dish rack rollers (part Number AP4342187) pop off of the dish rack repeatedly. The biggest problem, however, is that a metal piece of the interior cabinet has partially detached and bent. It prevents the lower dish rack from being pulled out or pushed in without a great deal of effort - particularly if it is weighted with plates. I was told by a Samsung authorized service technician that this problem could not be repaired but that the part was under a lifetime warranty. Unfortunately, since I am not the original purchaser of the dishwasher (the previous owners of my home installed it), Samsung will not offer me any compensation or assistance in finding a solution.

Alluded to this in my earlier rating of the refrigerator product. More specifically, the induction stove is also a hit and miss item. We have purchased VERY high end cookware and find that some cookware works on some of the burners, but it is very hit and miss. We waited until our one year Samsung warranty expired so we dont have to work with their ponderous/painful/frustrating warranty department, and now will work with the extended warranty we purchased from a reputable retailer to see how that works. Again... if its a Samsung my advice is to run. Pick a different deal. These are poor products with extremely bad service.

On Friday 4/14/17 my 1 1/2 year old Samsung refrigerator had iced up so I unplugged it and defrosted it. Upon start up the display and controls did not work so I called Samsung service. Samsung service supposedly set up a service appointment for the unit to be service Monday morning (they gave me a reference number). I took off work only to get a call from a repair company to set up an appointment. I asked to be transferred to Samsung. A Samsung employee answered and after I started telling her my problem she hung up. I called back and Jose answered this time. He spoke broken/heavily accented English and after being no help in getting a repair person out today, I asked to be forwarded to a manager. He put me on hold, came back after 5 minutes and said he was forwarding me to a manager. After waiting another 5 minutes on line Samsungs system cut me off. I called back a third time and the only thing they did for me was to contact a repair company to set up an appointment. I lost 4 hours of pay waiting on the service that never came. Samsung has poor products and even poorer service. I will never buy another Samsung product again.

I bought a Samsung fridge (RFG296HDPN) from Lowes and the dispenser is not working right. It locks itself and then no matter how many times I try, it does not unlock, which means no cold water, crushed ice or whole ice. This panel will stay locked for a week or two and then unlock on its own. The lower drawer or crisper came cracked and one of the shelves where the ice maker is located has a thin line crack also. I work and have to take a full day for a repair and when I called them, they gave me a work order number. If they call back and I dont pick up, they cancel it, so I called in for another one. So I have two work orders, and they told me the repair person is waiting on parts. Now someone named Brittany says that its cosmetic and they do not do cosmetic. I asked to speak with a supervisor and they say I have to wait for an hour. A malfunctioning dispenser for me is not cosmetic, not on a $3,000 refrigerator that will be a year old in August. I have explained this over and over again when I called and when the technicians called now, they asked me if its locked, call then when it is. Well, I have on two occasions and they have not reacted. I wish they would put this on their refrigerators. If panel malfunctions, its cosmetic. I asked if there was a way to reset it and there is none but unplugging it which I have tried and it does not work. It will be two months that I have been trying to fix this. I will never buy another Samsung.

Wish I could go back in time and choose a fridge other than Samsung RS263TDRS. Weve owned fridge 4 years and has been a disappointment from day one. Slow water dispenser. Ice dispenser shoots across room. Biggest issue is defroster on fridge side. Several times a year we go through the headache of fridge making loud grinding sound, popping and then inside heating up and spoiling food. Samsung support centre acts like my issue is an isolated problem.First time I paid for a technician. He reported this to me as common issue, a manufacturing default and inserted a spacer between fan to add more air flow. He acknowledged this was only a bandaid solution and that I should be proactive and when I hear ice starting to build up on fan, to defrost fridge for two days. This has become a burdensome issue now and we defrost our fridge three to four times a year. After doing this our fridge resumes cooling efficiently but then a few months go by and ice and water build up below crisper. I will never buy another Samsung product and discourage other consumers from buying their product. Samsung is robbing consumers and their callous approach to Customer Service is unacceptable.
