So much confusion between Samsung and Lowes. Anyway, the dishwasher makes a HORRIBLE noise during the 2nd cycle. I have it a little over 1 year. Its been making the sound for a few months. So frustrated and disappointed. I have to pay $100 plus to get a serviceman out here. I dont want to considering the dishwasher is still new to me.

Samsung Model RF31FMEDBSR - Worst fridge ever. Icemaker has always frozen up. It definitely does not make the 10 pounds a day that they advertised and now the whole fridge is freezing up and not keeping our food properly cooled. I am very confident we have eaten spoiled or bad food because of the temp problems. The door says one thing but the actual temperature is much warmer. Customer service at Samsung was asking if the door was closed and other time-wasting questions.

First repairman came out and said defroster on fridge was frozen up. Had to leave it open for 12 hours. Week later started leaking under filter. Now this time still leaking under filter again, repairman said had to order a part that goes behind filter. We will see, what happens next. Not a good choice for a fridge.

I purchased a Samsung dishwasher serial # DW80F600UTW at Home Depot in October 2013. The machine worked well until May 2015 when it began flashing an Error Code- smart auto +heavy=overfill. I contacted an approved service provider who contacted Samsung Technical Support and was informed that: a) There was a bulletin on that model regarding overfill issues. b) Three parts were required to resolve the issue. c) These parts would cost over $400. The repair technician advised me that this was a manufacturing problem and that I, as a consumer, should not have to pay the bill to have the problem repaired. I contacted Samsung and spoke with a customer service representative who referred me to the Executive Customer Relations Department who informed me that Samsung is not willing to provide the necessary parts to resolve the error code.I am not satisfied with this response. I purchased a machine that requires the parts mentioned above to work properly. I am sure it is not Samsungs policy to create machines worth several hundred dollars to only work for one year. This is not a problem created through customer use, misuse, or abuse; it is a problem created through faulty manufacturing. I am willing to pay the labor to have the machine repaired but I believe it is Samsungs responsibility to provide the necessary parts.

We purchased a Samsung refrigerator on Nov. 10, 2010. We had to replace the ice bucket in May, 2014. Currently the refrigerator evaporator is inoperable and needs to be replaced. However, Samsung has discontinued this part and they do not offer information where we can purchase a generic part. Why would Samsung discontinue a part on a product that is less than four years old? Now we are going to have to buy a new refrigerator because of Samsungs ineptness. Believe me, it will NOT be a Samsung.

I do not typically do product reviews but after seeing a rash of Samsung refrigerator ads on TV I felt compelled to respond. We needed a new refrigerator after our 15 year old GE started having problems. We found a nice looking french door style Samsung with a middle drawer for refrigerated items, freezer drawer at the bottom, water and ice dispenser, all the whistles and bells - in fact more whistles and bells than we had ever seen before. We have four Samsung TVs that all work great so we decided to give Samsung refrigerators a try - VERY BAD DECISION. The ice/water dispenser stopped working and none of our local repair people knew how to repair Samsung refrigeration products. Entering the model and serial number into the Samsung website in order to locate a Samsung repair person proved very difficult - not user friendly. We finally got the ice maker repaired but ice cubes still get stuck coming out of the dispenser and we have to completely empty the freezer about every four month and chip out the ice buildup in the bottom of the freezer, otherwise it gets increasingly difficult to open and shut the freezer door. About every two months the handle literally comes loose from the freezer drawer and I have to find the correct size Allen wrench to reattach the handle. Finally, the bottom of the middle plastic drawer for refrigerated items cracked. I dont think we every loaded it with anything unduly heavy - it just appears to be very thin plastic and it cracked. My next refrigerator will not be a Samsung.

I recently replaced all my appliances and I was tempted by the Samsung style so I bought all Samsung appliances. The problem so far was the dishwasher after 2 months old. Reading on Internet I figured out the inlet valve went bad. I have tried to contact Samsung customer service multiple times. The waiting time is very frustrating. The representatives dont really know what they are talking about. They just waste even more of the time. They are very polite though but not helpful. Finally, they told me they will send me a technician. This was exactly 2 months ago. Im still waiting for them to come and repair the dishwasher. At this point we know that replacing the dishwasher again may be the best option. Tossing $500 bucks annoys me but dealing with Samsung its not worth it anymore. Honestly, I have been a big fan of Samsung but this dishwasher turned me down. Please be aware of Samsung dishwasher is NOT the way to go.

I purchased 4 Samsung appliances for my kitchen and had to repair 3 out of the 4. But by far, the stove has been the worst. Since the beginning, the stove would not keep the set temperature. I would preheat it, it would hit the set temperature and then begin declining after about 5 minutes. Significantly declining- continuously dropping. I had to have a repair person out 3 times to fix it- which meant I had to wait at home 4 hours each time. I was promised a refund 3 different times when they deemed it irreparable. I would be waiting for my refund so I could purchase a different (not Samsung) oven and would call them back only to be told that my refund had been denied (even after receiving refund acceptance texts) for various reasons. They never contacted me to tell me that it had been denied- just left me waiting. Each time, I was asked to resend a different document (receipt, picture of serial number, etc) that I had already sent them previously. Each time I called (a total of 6 times), I had to wait on hold for at least an hour. I would be promised, promised, promised that they would take care of me and then nothing. The last customer service representative I had even refused to read documentation of my experience to explain my frustration. So...the product is faulty and customer service is lacking. Stay far, far away from Samsung appliances. Hopefully, you will learn from my mistake.

My husband purchased the whole kitchen group less the dishwasher from HH Gregg before they went belly up in 6/2017 with a 5 year warranty ($500) EXTRA! The icemaker stopped producing ice in Oct 2017. Called warranty dept. They sent out tech and he thawed out the underneath of the icemaker. Stated there was no replacement at the time. We could deal with it and hoped it fixed it. In 2018, it started the same thing, NO ICE and frozen up again. The warranty dept sent techs out on 3 different occasions that year, still NOT WORKING properly. The warranty dept said there was nothing else they could do and we would be getting a refund check in the mail.We received a check for $1400 from Samsung this year, called and asked why not a full refund, were told the techs that had been sent the 4 trips to REPAIR totaled the balance of the total cost of $2500 we originally paid for the refrigerator. This is a beautiful Black Stainless 4 door. I totally loved it from the start but I HATE IT NOW AND WILL NOT BE PURCHASING ANOTHER SAMSUNG ITEM! So we lost out on over $1000 and still have a broken refrigerator!

Samsung Model RF260BEAESR/AA - Loud cracking noise from the fridge. The noise happens all throughout the day and night. Samsung was aware of the problem according to the Totem Appliance technician. A new evaporator plate was installed. This did not solve the problem. Samsung technicians claim that this loud cracking sound is normal. It is so noisy that we are awaken from our sleep each night. How can the technicians claim that this is a normal sound when they have never heard my refrigerator. Customer service has been extremely bad. The dishwasher is one year old and from day one smelled like football locker room, even when it was empty. It was installed by Home Depot. I re-routed the drain hose higher to keep water from the disposal from back-flowing into the dishwasher, which I assume has no back flow prevention valve, given the amount of water left in the sump after running. No change. Ive owned and installed many, many dishwashers and never had an odor problem, even when they were full of dirty dishes. We bought a second home home with brand new Samsung appliances. A Stove, Microwave, Dishwasher, refrigerator, washer and dryer. We have issues with every one of them! Poor design and poor engineering is consistent throughout the entire line. I wouldnt even recommend them to my worst enemy! The seller paid $500 for a transferable extended warranty. It took him 3 months of constantly calling Samsung and hours of arguing to finally get the warranty transferred! So, if you have an issue with a Samsung appliance, well, good luck.In addition to the constant horrible smell, the dish racks are very poorly laid out and waste a lot of space. Good luck trying to fit 12 place settings into this. It does a poor job of removing coffee stains from cups. The upper rack has only 2 height settings. On the higher one even small saucers hit the very useless top cutlery rack. On the lower setting you run the risk of the washer arm hitting any moderately tall dishes or pans, which causes food to stick to the dishes.I am speculating that the smell is caused by incomplete draining. There is filter that needs constant cleaning, but even keeping it clean doesnt prevent the smell. There is a sump under the filter where water pools, but that should be clean water? But many other dishwashers leave some water in the bottom and do not have this horrible smell. And, at this price point, the dishwasher should have a food grinder instead of a filter that needs constant cleaning! Again, poor design and engineering! The dishwasher is very quiet, and if you set it up within the confines of the poor design and engineering, it will usually get things fairly clean. But you can find many, many other dishwashers for much less money that will do a much better job every time, and smell fine even with a load of dirty dishes. Dont fall in love with the pretty face! Buy something that works!!!!

I had purchased Samsung StormWash in Best Buy in 2018/06 for my remodeled place. The first use of dishwasher was in 2018/09. About a week ago, the dishwasher does not operating and would shut off within seconds after power on. Instead of having technician from Samsung, the technician was so-called Samsung authorized technician. Technician came with diagnosis fee and told me it does not worth to have the dishwasher repaired since it is circuit board failed. I was silly enough not buying extended warranty for such a junk. Who would think the dishwasher would be failed in two years of use. I really wish there were some way to get part of money back. The product sucks and literally, there is no customer support after 1 year warranty.

We bought this double range in 2014. On Jan of 2017 we were moving the range to have a new floor put in. When the floor was done we moved the range back to where it was and plugged it in. When we did this it blew the breaker. We then shut off the electric and checked the range. We could smell smoke from the back of the range. We took the back of the power cover off and found the black plastic clamp that holds the wire to the power cord let go and the wires hit the cover and shorted out the range. I was told that there was nothing that could be done. I feel this is a serious safety issue and it could cause serious problems or fire. Will not buy another.

Ice dispenser went crazy and was dispensing ice inadvertently into the kitchen floor. 542 dollars later, new front panel with control board, now will not make ice. A&E/Sears made an effort to repair and 3 days later, still no ice. Repair tech said there is a service bulletin if my unit was made 2 months earlier, but parts are still over 500 dollars. To schedule a Tech, usually takes another 2-3 weeks also. Junk is a conservative adjective for this refrigerator. I have read many reviews of consumers with the same problems. I think it is time for a class action law suit against the manufacturer.

I purchased my Samsung refrigerator in 2015. Within that first year I had Samsung repairs visit four times due to ice maker problems. They never fixed the problem. Thank goodness I purchased the extended warranty from Lowes. I had a warranty repair person visit over the same ice maker issues seven times. Each time I had to take four hours off of work to be home for the repair. The icemaker has been replaced along with several other components at least three times. Each time it breaks within weeks and still does not work. Not only does it not produce ice properly, it also leaks water down the front of my stainless steel and now I have permanent stains in my stainless steel refrigerator. Not Appealing! Purchasing this refrigerator has created significant financial loss for me and my family. Not only do I have an ugly refrigerator with water stains down the front of it, I cannot get ice from it, and I have lost several hours equating to several hundred dollars of loss work having to be home each time a repair person needed access to fix it. Purchasing a Samsung refrigerator has been the worst experience and the worst purchasing decision I have ever made.

Purchased 01-2016, 1st repair 03-2017 for ice maker and not cooling. Had to manually defrost every 3 to 4 months until 01-2018 when ice machine stopped totally. Called HH Gregg extended warranty who did not respond for 6 months. By then due to sickness I just gave up until this year when it started leaking water and would not cool. Called warranty company about repair on refrigerator and range. Tech responded and ordered parts. After a week the cooling problem was corrected but had to wait a week to replace ice maker and circuit board. Worked for 1 week and now there is no cooling ice or freezer. After repair last week the company that took over HH Gregg refused to repair the range and canceled the contract saying that it cost too much and sent a check for 279.00 refund. My advice is to never buy a Samsung Appliance and dont buy a warranty without having an attorney read it first.

I bought a Samsung fridge, three times I have had Telefix technicians out to look at fridge as it on 3 times it has had water under the crisper. First time the back panel gets changed. Leaks again so 2nd time gets same procedure not to mention puts a slight crack on panel, leaks again. 3rd time technician? Blame the 2nd one for his workmanship. And reckons nothing wrong? Yet water? Told him not happy he puts in a report saying nothing wrong? Goes to apparently case manager Samsung. Telling me they cant do anything, yet I have 10 year concierge warranty and if they get someone else out I have to pay? I don’t think so.And how many times do I have to them out because of their fault in appliance, which was also stated by the technician that the new model fridges has the exact problem as my fridge does... I have 20 year old LG fridge and never had one problem. If I wanted a fridge that leaks water I would buy one. So why are Samsung making fridges with the same problem and selling them? Rectify the problem. And you will have happy customers. Still want to know so what are they going to do about my fridge… Angry customer.

We bought this two years ago for our second home from which we only used during Christmas and summer or about a total of less than five months. Due to the pandemic, we again use it since August but the unit was already DEFECTIVE. We filed a complaint thru the Samsung website but they only accept queries for their digital units. There was even an option in their website to complain to the Samsung CEO, from which I did, but to no avail. We are also in touch with the local service rep of Samsung since the the first week of September, paid a big amount for parts and service but the unit is still DEFECTIVE! Please help.

I purchased a microwave last year and all of a sudden it started turning on by itself. I located on Samsung website was a sensor seems straightforward and obvious, same exact issues happening. They send a tech out who looked and bent my hinges as an attempt to “fix” a brand new microwave. As soon as tech leaves I open the microwave and close it, it turns back on so it wasn’t fixed within 5 minutes of tech leavening. I call Samsung. They schedule me again for another tech. I took off work again now 2 days. They never show up. I call Samsung and they told me they never came because the first tech said there wasn’t an issue with the microwave. Which is mind blowing considering he bent my microwave and damaged it to fix a problem that didn’t exist? And they couldn’t of told me that before I took off another day of work. So end result was hours wasted 2 days off work. No fix and they proceeded to tell me the customer that my microwave functions properly even tho it turns on by itself and turns off without any input. I have never dealt with such a terrible company who said they can’t do anything for me because at this point it’s their tech company and Samsung isn’t responsible so I’m out 2 days a work and a over the range brand new microwave now needing to be replaced. Never buy Samsung. Total scam company. I will never purchase a single thing from them ever again. They couldn’t even accept that it’s their microwave. Purchased this dishwasher (Model DW80F800UWS/AA) 11 months ago. During that time our kitchen was under an extensive remodel so dishwasher wasnt in service for 8 out of the 11 months weve owned it. Now that our kitchen is in working order we hooked our new dishwasher up. The past 3 weeks have been plagued with numerous error codes: oE, 9E and HE. Ive contacted Samsung and each time theyve sent out A&E repair service to address the problems. Although the reps from Samsung have arranged for repairs this is really becoming ridiculous to say the least. So far this machine has gone through 2 case assemblies, an ECS sensor, main control board and now needs a heater sump pump assembly. Essentially every working part, some of them twice. To say were frustrated is putting it mildly. Now the holidays are approaching and we need to wait another 2 weeks for parts. Our manufacturer warranty ends in 3 weeks. If this ever gets fixed were pulling it out and replacing it with another brand. We will never buy a Samsung appliance ever again or would feel confident to recommend their products.

They are supposed to have such good customer service but we are certainly not feeling it. They told me twice they would help but they would charge us AGAIN to fix the same problem for a THIRD time!! Why do they get high ratings??? I dont understand it. STAY AWAY FROM SAMSUNG APPLIANCES!! BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. Please share! Thanks.

I really like this fridge because of the price point. Although I do have a couple of issues. First being I hate that no matter what temp you put the fridge on you will have to eventually manually Defrost because there is no option to do it by itself. Second even after googling how to defrost it you have to basically take it apart and do it yourself no matter what. Thirdly I wish there was a way to either turn off the door open alarm or adjust the time. Overall, I’m pretty happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend as a good starter fridge.

We have had our refrigerator for only a couple of years. First the ice maker broke. Then it started making this loud noise that would stop when we opened the door. We had a technician come out and fix these problems. This was only a few months ago. Recently, I had noticed our milk didnt seem that cold even though the temp read 38 degrees. The problem started getting worse so we reset the fridge by unplugging it. This made the temp gauge work again and the true temperature was 66 degrees! After having already spent over $300 to repair this new refrigerator, I am reluctant to spend more to get this new problem fixed, especially after reading these complaints.

Samsung DMR78 series dishwasher - We bought the Samsung dishwasher hoping we were getting a great dishwasher. Not in the least. We bought it from Future Shop. They did nothing to help us with the problem. Our dishwasher does not clean the dishes at all! We have tried everything. If you put dirty dishes in, they come out dirty. I have to wash them all by hand then put them in the dishwasher, so whats the point? So it looks really good but does not clean the dishes. Thanks, Samsung, for nothing!

Wish we didn’t buy this Samsung fridge and would’ve listened to the bad reviews.

We purchased a Samsung Kitchen Suite of appliances and we could not be more disappointed in the purchase. The dishwasher smells rancid even after they came back and fixed it, it is starting to rust despite being Stainless Steel, The range turns off every so often for no apparent reason and now the ice maker for our refrigerator has stopped working. Samsung support is terrible. The appliances are less than 1 year old. I will never purchase another Samsung appliance ever again. They are poor quality and have given us nothing but problems.

Had this refrigerator for 10 years and had problems with the freezer size. The service dept sucks!!! With Samsung, no regular appliance repair will touch it since they cannot source any spares unless you are an authorized service center. Result = lousy service!! We had the tech come in last month and after talking to some superiors over the phone half the time, said it was a thermostat issue. No spare on hand despite the fact that the symptoms were well described to the Samsung call in center over 2 calls of 30 mins each. Replaced a thermostat which he claimed was not meant for this model and guess what? Broke down in 1 month and had to call again. Despite asking for not sending the same guy again, they sent him. Fine, this time he opened out the fridge fully and claimed some more parts are defective and could not explain why this could not be determined earlier. Anyway, long story short, we went out and bought a GE fridge and decided NEVER SAMSUNG again.

This is a huge french style fridge with freezer in the bottom and water/ice in the door. This has double doors with lots of space in each door and tons of shelf space inside. We love this fridge. It has worked great for years, but does have 2 flaws that can be dealt with. The fridge temp rises and it has iced over in the center back vent. The cover must be removed and ice melted then move the thermo coupler down and uncovered to stop refreezing. In addition, the ice maker freezes up. Just remove the tray and blow with hair dryer. Even with flaws we love this fridge.

I spent over $2500 for a new Samsung counter depth refrigerator in mid 2015
I spent over $2500 for a new Samsung counter depth refrigerator in mid 2015 after I remodel my kitchen. It works fine for about 1 1/2 year. After 1 1/2 year, I started to have problems. A year ago the freezer will not go down to the temperature I set. Even I set it to minor 8 degree F, it only went down 15 degree F. I was advised by some website to reset the refrigerator by turning off the power overnight. I did and it worked again. Six months ago, no ice came out from the ice maker. I open the ice maker and found it completely frozen. I turned the power off and blow some warm air to melt the ice. After I removed the ice, it worked again.A couple weeks ago, the freezer warmed up again. This time, I know resetting the refrigerator can only solve the problem for a few months so I called Samsung service center. A technical came, open the freezer and spent half an hours checking. He told me that defrost sensor went bad and the ice built up blocking the cold air from entering the freezer. Also the cover needed to be replaced. I ask him if the repair will take care of the ice maker frozen problem. He told me that it is a different problem and many people have the same problem due to design issue and Samsung offered to repair it free even warranty expired. I called Samsung but with no luck, Samsung refused to have it fixed. Repairing the ice maker will cost another $400.The technician left and 2 days later, another technician came with the parts. He did some more checking and told me that the cover did not need to be replaced but the control board did not send power to the heater. Unfortunately, the previous technician did not check the control board so he need to order the control board and will come back later. He told me that I should purchase extended warranty. I went to online chat with Samsungs Chat site and was told that I can purchase extend warranty even the refrigerator warranty expired. The gentlemen even told me that the I should get some discount for the current repair if I elected to purchase extended warranty. He gave me the number to call.I called Samsung extended warranty department and found out that extend warranty cost $550 a year and will be effective 30 days after all repairs were done and I needed to show them receipts of all repairs. There will be no discount to current repair either. I was surprised that extended warranty cost $550/year for a refrigerator. The conclusion was the refrigerator will experience problems very often, maybe an average of once a year because average repair cost will be 4 to 5 hundred dollar each time. This policy tells us to expect Samsung refrigerator to be repaired once a year. This morning, I found out that the water dispenser at the refrigerator started leaking. Oh boy, another problem I have to deal with. I did a quick estimate. It will cost me about $1450 to have everything repaired and spend $550 for a one year extended warranty. That is $2000. Should I buy a new one instead. My last refrigerator was a 20 years old GE. It is still in the garage working fine. The other one was a 35 years old Whirlpool. I gave it away when I purchased the Samsung. My GE and Whirlpool gave me a combined 55 years of trouble free service while the Samsung gave me 3 problems in 2 1/2 years.

Based on the Consumer Reports review (microwave has since been dropped from their recommended list), I purchased the SMH9187ST. It worked great for 13 months then died with the dreaded SE error. I tried resetting the control module and worked for another week. I contacted Samsung and they acted like I was crazy. But thanks to kind folks in this forum, I went to repairclinic.com and purchased the replacement model item #2024600 and part #DE94-01999C for $70. I got it in a week and took all of 5 minutes to replace. I will restate the procedure: 1. Unscrew the 2 top vent screws and slide to the left. 2. Take out the top control module screw and gently remove, watching out for the tabs on the bottom. 3. There are 6 wiring connections that pull away very easily. Mark them if you need to.4. Put everything back and youre done. Working great! So far. This was way easier than I thought. Also, I contacted Consumer Reports and they provided info for filing formal complaints with various agencies. But they must be listening because Samsung is no longer in their OTR recommended list.

NewSamsung Dishwasher Model DW80F600UTS lots of different issues. From Day 1 hasnt worked properly. Steam vent under front of door wasnt shutting off, so water would leak out the front. HEAVY light started blinking, and pump wouldnt turn off, power wouldnt turn off, either. Had to turn off at breaker. Dried out the flood pan and sensor, and saw moisture on the water intake hose coupling, so tightened that. That helped for a week, then it went off again. Seems to be leaking out of tub, not hose. Luckily, still under warranty so service is coming in a few days.SERVICE: Parts take 10 days!! So the repair guy comes, figures out what is wrong, then has to order the part and come again. It can be 2 weeks before you can use your new dishwasher again! When I talk to the service company (that is not Samsung, but certified to do their repairs), they make it sound like they know exactly what the problem is before they come out - leading me to believe they had a lot of this problem!! Never will buy a Samsung appliance again! Wish I had come here first to read the complaints.

Hello, we purchased the Samsung 30.5 CuFt French Door Refrigerator Stainless Steel Model Number RF31FMESBSR in June 2013. It looks like there is some manufacturing defect as we see the water leakage and rust on the backside of the refrigerator. Thus anyone else is facing similar issues? We had 1-year manufacturer warranty and 60 months protection plan from Home Depot; however, in this specific issue it was a little difficult to notice the problem since it was on the backside of the refrigerator and as you know how many people go and look at the backside of the refrigerator once its install. As per the Samsung service company, other consumers also had similar issues. However, Samsung is not taking any actions to resolve the issue citing the refrigerator is out of warranty.

We bought a Samsung Side-by-Side Refrigerator on 24 Jan 2008 from Best Buy with a 5-year warranty service plan. We have had problems with cooling that resulted in spoiled food several times. We had one situation wherein the fan had to be replaced because of the noise it made while the fridge was not cooling at that time as well. We had had constant problems with ice-maker not working. The motor or vent behind the ice-maker freezes up and has to be thawed about four times a year. The ice has to be removed from the unit and the ice-maker begins working about 24 to 48 hours later. We have had problems with cooling and spoiled milk resulting in another fan motor replacement in 2010. This month, the refrigerator stopped cooling resulting in untimely milk and produce spoiling. When we turned the refrigerator up to 3 notches, all produce, eggs and pickles froze and had to be thrown out. We turned the unit down to 2 notches and now we have had two packages of meat spoil that was just purchased last week with expiration date of 27 Sept 11 (meat to sausage in casing and ground sausage). We have a Best Buy serviceman coming today. Our service warranty expires in 19 Jan 2013 and we plan to buy another refrigerator (not Samsung)!

I bought my fridge June 2010. It is a very large double door stainless steel model with deli tray, freezer on bottom and cost $2700 from Lowes. A few months ago, I noticed water on my floor, so first thing that came to mind was the kids are playing with water dispenser, so I locked it. That did not solve the problem so I was not sure of what to do since it was not a large amount of water. Then during my routine cleaning, I had a burst of energy, and decided to remove the deli tray completely and that is when I noticed a huge amount of water! I could not believe it! Where was it coming from? No visible leaks, cracks and nothing. I tried for weeks to find someone to come out, with no luck. I finally called Lowes and they sent someone from A&E who told me that my fridge was not properly leveled and water that is suppose to drain down is leaking forward. It popped me $216 to level my fridge. I was burned but thought it was better than $2000 for a new fridge. I checked it today (3 days have passed) and guess what? A huge puddle of water under the deli drawer! I called A&E and they said that they will come out, and waive the service fee but I will be responsible to order new parts. Are you kidding me? I just gave you $216! Never again will I buy Samsung. I wish I knew about this site before dropping big bucks on a big piece of **!

Samsung French Door Refrigerator - Model # RF263BEAESR/AA - BEWARE ----> BAD PRODUCT & BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE ----> SAMSUNG. $2,000 refrigerator with ice maker that has not worked properly since day one. After several frustrating calls to Samsungs resolution department I received another service call outside of warranty (1 year) to replace several parts and defrost element. This did not fix the problem and ice maker frosted up a couple weeks later. Requested service AGAIN and waited 1 month without a response. Finally was told Samsung would not repair or service further and I should contact a service center to pay for another repair. Note: Service techs both told me the icemakers are a HUGE PROBLEM for Samsung. What a freaking joke! Samsung is making a piece of crap and is failing to support and/or correct this. I have Samsung side-by-side refrigerator model RS267LASH/XAA bought in March 4th, 2006. A few days ago, its fridge side stopped cooling and all the food inside went bad. Now the fan on the fridge side is noisy. The noise stops as soon as I open the fridge side door. There is no cooling on the fridge side. When I investigated this issue, it seems like this is a very common issue with Samsung refrigerators. This is a just a six years old refrigerator and I always clean it every month. Never in my life had I any problems with the refrigerators I used. I have found out that Samsung people know about this problem, but they wont fix it. I have to pay for it as the warranty is over.

My sister and I both bought this refrigerator for our new construction home in December 2015. Luckily hers hasnt done this. But 16 months later mine started making this loud noise coming from the upper back part of fridge. Its so loud. I Googled and found numerous people are having same problem. Ive tried the blow dryer. Didnt work. Tried defrosting only to return 1 week later. I sure dont want to start taking apart, nor should I have to. This fridge is heavy. Our washers were both recalled, in which only partial cost reimbursed. Now I am frustrated because feel no one should have issues with any product, especially after only 16 months. What am I suppose to do now. I thought Samsung would be a super brand. Now I hate it. What is being done about this company selling crap products. Ill go American from now on.

Were an older couple, no children household. The front of our refrigerator started to peel away 12 months after we purchased it. Samsung considers it cosmetic damage and not a production problem. If you want a refrigerator that is only partially black stainless (with the one side flapping off) then this is the fridge for you!

I purchase a Samsung 4 door refrigerator model RF32FMQDBSR/AA around October/November 2013. Since then the icemaker has never worked properly even after I called a technician to come fix it and constantly defrosting the icemaker because ice built up inside and it would not work at all. NOW the refrigerator will not cool down... stays around 53 degrees and that is too warm to keep milk and other luncheon meat fresh up to expire date. The worst thing is I have not had it even 4 years yet. Looking at some of the other reviews, I now see that it was a mistake to buy SAMSUNG appliances... I have a Samsung top load washing machine also and see there was a recall on some models. Anyways if it is too costly to have this Fridge fix I will cut my losses and just buy another refrigerator. I strongly feel that SAMSUNG should take responsibility and recall this model. Since that is not likely I will never buy NOTHING Samsung again.

Purchased samsung oven last year. Noticed paint peeling on glass top after a couple of months. Called Samsung and had a ticket for someone to come out to look at oven. Repair place called on day of service advising they would charge service charge since this is a cosmetic problem. Service place said if samsung admits this is not cosmetic then they would not charge. Called samsung back, talked to Shawn service manager. He advised this is a cosmetic problem when paint peels off of glass top. I have had other glass top stoves and never had this problem. This proves this product is a piece of ** and the glass top will peel no matter how you clean or take care of the product. I will not buy another samsung product.

Waited a week for service dept to come to assess the problem with my refrigerator. Paid the service dept.$120.00 to tell me yes, its broken. Service came yesterday to tell me everything needs to be replaced. Water is pooling in the crisper, temp. not being held, sensor needs to be replaced, etc., etc... to the tune of 720.00. Now I have to wait 48 hours for a manager to get back to me. The refrigerator model # RF 263AERS was purchased in 2011 and is out of warranty. Cant believe that a refrigerator that cost over $1,000.00 should only last 7 years. Why do I have to wait 48 hours for a manager to talk to me. We are now going into week 2 with the fridge not working. Very unhappy with this product and even more unhappy with the customer service.

When we first purchase the refrigerator the ice maker didnt work. Samsung came out and the motherboard had to be replaced in the refrigerator. Periodically I like to clean behind my refrigerator and make sure that the coils and part of the refrigerator they recommend that we clean in their manual. If we dont really put the refrigerator back exactly level refrigerator runs constantly and will not defrost. We have to pull the refrigerator back out unplugged it, leave it unplugged for 2 hours plug it back in level it again before it will work. Ill never buy another Samsung. We also have their range which I have had to have a replacement part for as well. We have only owned these appliances for three years. But its long enough to know that Samsung does not build a reliable appliance. I only used a 1-star rating because I couldnt leave it blank.

We purchased a Samsung refrigerator and stove a year ago. The first time I went to use the self-clean feature on the stove the main component fried. It was Thanksgiving week and a time I really needed the oven. It took 2 weeks for a repairman to fix the problem. Two weeks ago we started having problems with the ice maker in the refrigerator. Slushy ice and at times, wed just get a handful of water. Upon research (I know, something I should have done before the purchase), I learned that it is a common problem with Samsung refrigerators/ice makers. People were told they had to empty the thing every 6 months or so, unplug it and let it defrost! Seriously?? In this day and age? The thing is supposed to be frost free. So upset with this purchase! I would avoid Samsung in the future if looking for appliances. They look good, but break down within a year of purchase.

My microwave, purchased in late 2010 finally started showing the dreaded SE error message about two weeks ago. The device appeared to be getting phantom button presses (fortunately not the start button) and beeping until I pulled the power plug. Tried a few times to clean the flex cable connecting the keypad to the controller card, but now that only makes it functional for a day or two. Was amazed to see that this fragile connection spans 8+ years of production. Seeing that this has happened to so many others, makes me feel lucky that I got this much use out of it.

My Samsung is probably 15 years old by now. It has been one of my best investments. I think I have had one repair in all that time that may have been $150 which at the time I thought was outrageous. But looking back now was cheap considering the longevity of my refrigerator. It looks great, it is still in style and is easily maintained. It is silver which is very much still in vogue and everything works! I have always taken good care of my appliances so they will last a long time. Now that I have bragged on it, well well see.

First the reason for my review is to warn consumers about a Samsung refrigerator and I dont want them to make the same mistake that I made. If I could do it all over again, I would have kept my old refrigerator or got a different brand. I bought this mess of a refrigerator in September 2013. I bought a Samsung refrigerator for $1500.00 and a 5-year warranty with it. I am so glad I did because it’s been problems every since I had it. I had a technician come out to replace different parts on this refrigerator at least 3 times since 2013. The ice maker keeps messing up and not producing ice. If you leave the door open for at least 15 minutes then close the door, it won’t produce ice. The water freezes up and it won’t produce ice either. I hate I even bought this freakin Samsung refrigerator. After my warranty is up, I will sell it and get another refrigerator. The only reason why I am keeping it is because it is still up under warranty. I will not be able to afford for a technician to keep coming out after the warranty has expired. Damn you Samsung and the people who put this refrigerator together. If I could shove this refrigerator up their butt, I would. Please, Im begging the consumers, DONT BUY A SAMSUNG REFRIGERATOR!

I purchased my Samsung refrigerator in 2015 from Home Depot. I will never buy Samsung again nor an appliance from Home Depot. Approximately 6 months ago I noticed bubbling of the finish on the front with peeling. This includes the left door where the ice maker is located, the drawer and the freezer drawer. The surfaces are raised from the inside out which to me indicates rust. As I began my process to complain I began with Home Depot who informed me my extended warranty didnt cover cosmetic problems. From there directly to Samsung who has consistently refused to stand behind their product. Almost telling me it is my fault. Well what about quality of the product and consumer satisfaction? In the business we own, quality is our most important aspect. Without good quality and willingness to stand behind your products you are nothing. No more Samsung for this family. I found Samsung to be unprofessional in the way this was handled and have complained to the Office of the President without results. Stay away from Samsung.

I purchased Samsung 4 door flex refrigerator July 2018. The ice maker started freezing over and not working and has been doing this every couple of month. I have been thawing it out and reseting it. It’s now December 2019 and no longer reset. I called Samsung and they directed me to a repair company who doesn’t return calls. I’m so unhappy with Samsung as I have looked them up on Youtube and blogs where there are so many complaints about the ice maker not just my model but numerous models. There is also a class action suit. I have always purchased their electronics and I have their washer/dryer which I have not had any problems. I purchased the most expensive dishwasher at the store, it was a Samsung DW990044dBA. Over a $1000.00. I bought the best hoping for good results and little hassle. The appliance worked for 4 days only. There was over 4 service calls in 2 months, and lots of correspondence with Samsung, and my dishwasher hasnt worked for much of the two months waiting on service repair times. There were several issues with the top rack sticking, leaking through the door, and breaking down. My countertop has been damaged from steam leaking through the door, my floor has been damaged from leaking on the floor. Samsung wont compensate me at this time and have denied my request for a new dishwasher. Samsung is complicated and confusing to deal with as their departments dont talk or share files. A person needs to be good with a computer, and verbally strong to deal with this company as they require lots of communication, pictures, calls, time and patience. I wish I had never bought this product.

What a huge disappointment with my less than 3 year old Samsung Fridge!!! And their aftercare service! As soon as I bought this refrigerator, Model # RF24FSEDBSR/AA which costed me $3,400 started having a problem within a week from the installation. Samsung sent me 2 different the 3rd party vendors to fix the problem since the 1st one couldnt. These two 3rd party vendors moved around my refrigerator in order to take a look at the back at that time. For last 5-6 months my fridge stopped cooling and it was accumulating ice in the back panel along with lots water dripping on the wall panel. Foods were easily molding and spoiled. When I called Samsung, they stated its because the refrigerator is not leveled and eventually its ruined fan functions. My refrigerator stayed exactly how the Samsung repairman left little less than 3 years ago with the wheels touch ground which was causing unleveling and eventual ruining the fridge completely. Samsung was showing no apology nor remedy whatsoever since the warranty time is over. They were asking me to talk to the vendor who left the refrigerator unleveled even though Samsung is the one who hired those vendors 3 years ago. Extremely disappointed with Samsung product and their service. Never buying Samsung products again. Definitely I will let other people to hear my voice every chance I get.

Even by todays standards - where risk for product reliability is forced onto consumers who must then buy extended warranties - this fridge is terrible. It makes god-awful noise twice a day that you can hear all over the house. I called BrandsMart three days in to complain and they said thats just how it sounds, too bad for me. I will not buy a Samsung anything ever again - and certainly not from BrandsMart. Service on this through extended warranty has been horrible. They use attractive designs to help them sell substandard product and poor Service. Then sales people abet by telling you they are great fridges. I cant count how many complaints I have now read. We bought our Samsung microwave model SMH8165W on Feb 23, 2011. I know this b/c I actually registered online w/ Samsung to get the extended 1 year + 3 month warranty. They have engineered their microwave to be built to last barely above a year. Let me say, it is beautifully designed and at an inexpensive price point. It was the best deal at the time. It had features that we NEVER used - like, any of the snack features. My husband still loves it.... BUT... within a year, one of the LED legs blew out in the first number. We ignored that. It wasnt big enough to bother, you could still read the number. Id already misplaced any paperwork. Now, on Feb 18, 2014 - almost 3 years to the day that we purchased our Samsung we have another interesting error. Our under microwave light that goes from On, to Night light, to Off.. it always stays ON. One of the lights blew out so we changed it thinking that maybe that was the problem. Nope, both bulbs now burn brightly. We are out of warranty. We wont be buying Samsung again. We actually need a light on at night to cook, being in a dark kitchen. So in the meantime Im buying a set of 3 stick on LED lights for $6 on Amazon. One LED light will last 1000 hours. Lets see if it outlasts the Samsung.

I have a 4 year old top of the line Samsung electric cooktop/oven that has always worked great, up until several months ago when it almost blew up. Many others have reported having the main computer board fail/catch fire. Mine was the 2 main oven heating, element wires at the solder connection app heating up, sagging and touched back metal panel. Wires shorted, blowing them off the oven. Luckily breaker tripped, shutting off power to oven, one wire did catch fire briefly. Dont remember what the warranty did cost but the 5 year one is prob worth it on the expensive ones. I looked at the back with the panel off and a thousand dollar unit has the same build quality as the 200 dollar one. **.

Water is leaking inside the refrigerator and freezing under the produce bins. Then we notice vents on the inside back wall were full of ice. A few weeks we found water on the floor.
