We purchased LG microwave oven that failed approximately 4 months into the warranty period. The warranty reads that “LG will, at it’s option, will repair or replace the Product“. LG’s policy apparently is not to do either of these things for countertop microwaves. They refused to repair or replace the unit, but suggested that we purchase another unit. They did in fact refund the original price of the unit, but now the unit could only be purchased for $30.00 more. As the request of a customer service agent we submitted the new receipt indicating that a price adjustment would be given. Long story short, not only did we have to do the leg work and go out and find another unit, we have had to absorb the difference in the price. DO NOT BELIEVE THE WARRANTY! Had we known that we couldn’t trust the warranty and the customer service agent, we would have chosen another brand of microwave. Although we have purchased other LG appliances (TVs, dishwashers etc) we will not make that mistake again!

We are without a washing machine and LG does not stand behind their product
We are without a washing machine and LG does not stand behind their products. From all the reviews, it appears we do have enough people to level a class action suit against LG. Are you in? We purchased a LG front-loading washing machine in November 2014 from Home Depot. When the machine was delivered, there was rust inside the drum. We called Home Depot and complained and two weeks later (a month and a half after purchase) we finally received a new washer. Around the end of June 2015, (6 months) I noticed a loud notice when the clothes were washing, it sounded like the drum was rubbing. I mentioned it to my husband who told me it was nothing. In July the noise was getting louder so I called LG for service. The customer service was atrocious! They told me that the technician was only available on 1 day and that if I was not available, then I would have to call back because they did not have a schedule for the technician the following week. I asked the representative to call me back when they had a schedule and he agreed, but I never got a call back. I called the following week and again I was told they only had a schedule for Tuesday. I asked for a supervisor, Cherry, who advised me to keep Wednesday, Thursday and Friday open for the technician and that she would call me. I asked her to have a member of management call me and she said they would call me back in 48 to 72 business hours. After 96 business hours, no one called me back, so I called again. A supervisor, Vincent, said he would get a technician out there on Monday. The technician arrived on Monday, and stated it was stator assembly and rotor assembly but stated hopefully it is not the drum, and that he would order the parts and be back on Tuesday to replace them. When he showed up on Tuesday to replace the parts, he said, oh no - the drum shaft is bent and that we would need a whole new rebuild of the machine. He then told my husband to call Customer Service because he could not order the parts (he was able to order them the day before) - that we needed to order them through Customer Service. While my husband was on the phone with Customer Service, the technician Nick just left. My husband then spent the whole day on Wednesday trying to get answers. Mid-day he was able to contact Sherry in the Executive Offices who told him she would research the issue and contact him by the end of the day about replacing the unit. She did contact him back and asked him to get the invoice because she did not have the information - however LG had the purchase date, model number and place of purchase. I then tried to contact Sherry the following day. Sherry indicated to me that she spoke to LG Management and that they refused to replace the machine but would order the parts for rebuild. When I asked Sherry when the parts would be in, and when we could expect the repairs to be done, she stated, The technician will give you a call when the parts arrive to schedule service. I then explained to her this was not acceptable to have a time frame and that I also wanted to keep the parts that are replaced for evidence. She told me she did not think I could do that, that decision would be up to the technician. I explained again that I was keeping the parts for evidence. My husband then called back and asked to speak with Sherrys manager. Amber, who answered the phone, said that she was Sherrys manager and there was no one above her to speak to. She stated that LG will not replace the machine, and that someone would call us when the parts arrive. We are without a washing machine, and LG does not stand by their products. NEVER, EVER, BUY LG. You will have dirty clothes and you will have $1000 less in your pocket! 10-year warranty - BS!

Washer does not clean clothes..have to wash twice. Tried all cycles. Customer service reads from a script... Dont waste your money. Spin cycle is too much, afraid machine is going to cause damage. I thought I did my research before purchase, obviously not, sorry I didnt check this site. Purchased from Home Depot in July 2019. Too late at this point. Never again of LG products.

Purchased this washer (WT1101CW) January 2014. Its been two years of rebalancing accompanied with numerous draining and refills as this machine struggles to complete a load. Have had a technician visit us three times and he made sure the machine is level, has a new board with updated firmware and still we have problems. Even more telling is the fact that a tub clean cycle (water only) cannot finish without the machine stopping to display UE. Ive given up. For a quick wash our neighbors have let us use their washing machine. In the meantime my solution is unfortunately to move to a different brand of washing machine.

We bought a LG refrigerator, model LFX25974ST, on 3/11/2013. Stopped working 2 days ago. No refrig, no freezer, lost all frozen foods and almost all in fridge. Have extended 3 yr warranty, and they will supposedly come next week to evaluate the situation. Now, after reading all of the above, we are concerned we also have an unfixable problem. i.e. the compressor. We also will be required to pay the service fee, and heavens knows what else. Has anyone heard of what can be done, to make complaints known to any and all consumers of these poor products. It is so frustrating to try and talk to anyone!!!

I researched ovens forever and finally settled on an LG. I was so excited. I used it twice - once for a frozen dinner and once for a turkey. All the moisture and grease went straight into the area between the glass. I tried the self-clean (both kinds) and water from the self-clean went between the glass as well. There was obviously a seal issue. I called LG and they said no - its cosmetic (didnt seem to make a difference it happened from cooking once). I kept going from service rep to service rep and speaking to people until they sent out a service technician. I asked him can you please fix the seal issue? I told him I didnt care if he fixed it or replaced the door, either way that would have been fine. He said no I am going to order you a new door, it should take 6 weeks. I asked do I need to do anything? He said no. I called to check on the status of my new door and they said OH...LG declined to send it... Not one person from LG or the repair place called me to tell me that, not a word from anyone, the repair place passed the buck and said they were supposed to let you know.So I called, spent more time on the phone trying to explain they need to either fix the seal as every bit of moisture gets in there or replace the door. They didnt care. They said its just cosmetic, your oven still works. I asked them so what you are saying is that all your ovens have this issue, mine is not an exception, and you stand behind the fact that even a brand-new oven is going to look like hell? No answer. I asked about the implied warranty of merchantability and she checked with Legal and said no, they dont have to do anything because its considered cosmetic. She then went on to say it says in the manual not to put a lot of water directly on the oven... I proceeded to tell her I did not, I only followed the self-clean instructions to the letter and the repairman could see that there is a gap and all moisture is getting in. Did not matter and furthermore did not have ONE word, not even an apology for not contacting me to let me know that they had denied the request. No one at LG calls back and follows up and they just keep saying this is cosmetic and they dont care because people keep buying the product. When I brought it up to them that their customer service was not good and they needed to at least speak to their customers and let them know instead of just letting them wait - no response. It is also my opinion the repair companies they send are just as bad since they basically lied to me--that repairman looked me straight in the eye and said your new door should be here in about 6 weeks. I am warning anyone who is shopping for an oven - do not get an LG - unless you dont care if it looks like hell even the very first or second time you use it. Now I am going to have to research and find a repair person to see if I can have the problem fixed on my dime when this was 100% not my fault and LGs defective product. In summary, on top of the fact there is a seal issue within the glass, the customer service is the worst I have seen of any business I have dealt with. The fact that they say its cosmetic even though its a brand new oven shows that once they have sold the item, they do not care if that item looks bad through no fault of the customer. I can understand if the oven gets scratched or has some sort of cosmetic issue over time, but for this to be an issue right out of the box and for them not even to attempt to fix it (not necessarily replace but fix) is truly beyond the worst customer service there can be. I have never written a consumer report before but I am so mad and do not want anyone else to have this happen to them. I will never buy LG again (or for that matter, Samsung as they are all part of the same company) and recommend when purchasing an appliance of any sort - go with another brand do not buy LG unless you are willing to pay for problems even if they are not your fault.

I bought this dishwasher in January 2015 and it has been a nightmare since I have had it. While under warranty LG had 5 different people out to fix it. I have not been able to use this dishwasher more than able to use it. I paid approximately $800.00 for this dishwasher and the one I had when I lived at an apartment was 100x better than this. Didnt clean well... ALWAYS problems with it. LG would not replace, kept fixing issues with it. I had to have the motor replaced, door replaced, dish soap dispenser replaced 2x, steam vent replaced, hoses replaced, seals replaced and it has been a lemon since day one. Again, last night after having yet another repairman out and only repaired about a couple of weeks ago, it breaks again and wont even come on. Seriously, what a piece of junk. Will never purchase another LG product again. Went out this morning and purchased another dishwasher. The LG is now out of warranty. Oh, and also one of the repairman told me that LG should just replace it and guess what, never heard from that repairman again. They said his work was not up to par... Really LG, I think youre not up to par!!!

I called to explain about some washing machine detergent dropping on the front of my LG washer. As I began to dry it off, the lettering on the console completely faded and disappeared. Instead of reading prewash, it reads pre ash. I called twice and today, December 7, 2011, spoke to a supervisor who said it is cosmetic abuse, and they do not cover it.They said I could only purchase a new console. I explained that the machine is about 1 1/2 years old, and that this lettering is poorly done. They repeated that it is cosmetic abuse. I paid over $800.00 dollars for the washer, and told the supervisor that I had a Kenmore for over 25 years, and none of the lettering came off. I wasnt washing down the machine, just cleaning some small droplets of laundry soap off the front, that dripped down.

Our less than 2 year old LG refrigerator stopped cooling and the freezer quit making ice on a Saturday or Sunday. When we realized it at 9pm on Sunday we called LG right away and that’s when the run around started. By Tuesday we had logged 8 phone calls to customer service. The representatives just read from a script and told us they had to send a work order to the repair people and it takes 3-5 business days. We tried to tell them the service people they mentioned in our city told us they wouldn’t work on LG (we’d already called) so they were wasting their time. We gave them the name of the closest service person willing to come out and even offered to pay him if LG could just reimburse us and LG refused. The service guy is standing by 30 miles away just waiting for the go ahead from LG before he heads to our house. He’s been screwed over by them before so he’s not willing to come out until he has the order in writing. This is now Friday and we’ve logged 12 calls to LG, 1 to Consumer Reports, 1 to BBB and 1 to our local consumer reporting agency. Unfortunately we purchased all new black, stainless, LG kitchen appliances when we remodeled our kitchen and if we go buy another refrigerator the color won’t exactly match the other appliances, but I think that may be our next step. My advice is to stay away from LG. They don’t stand behind their products and their customer service is terrible!

We went shopping and we liked the LG Refrigerator, and we purchased it a few years ago. I liked the way it was written up and the way it looked. The French doors are my favorite and I’m very happy with the quality of LG. If I had any issues, I called the LG service and the experience was 100% good. I am extremely satisfied with the refrigerator as well as the service. People should go and get them. It was a magnificent experience.

If I could’ve given this zero stars I would’ve. I bought this LG (Life is Good) top loader washing machine and LG Dryer because my old dryer finally broke after 10 years of usage. My previous washing Machine worked fine but the wife wanted the new LG dryer to match a new LG washing machine. So we bought the set. After maybe 4-5 years I noticed some rust on the inside of the body of the washer. Well that rust spot got bigger and more rust spots began to pop up. After many failed attempts with LG customer service and their service technician in my area the end results were that they would not repair or replace the washer. It is considered a cosmetic issue. The rust has dropped into the washer with the clean clothes defeating the purpose of cleaning the clothes. It now has become a hassle pulling the so called clean clothes out of the washer without touching the sides or the top because it’s all rusty. I’ve sent LG pictures of the rust at their request with no response. During the time of purchase we also bought other LG appliances. I’ve had problems with their microwave, stove, dishwasher and refrigerator. My older appliances I had that were much less expensive outlasted the very expensive LG CRAP I bought. Don’t buy LG!!

We have a technician coming tomorrow but LG representative was sure to make clear that it could be our fault and therefore the repair may not be covered under warranty. Now I have found that many people have had the same problem. It is apparent that LG is aware of a defect. Honestly! We were planning on buying an LG W/D for our 2nd house but not now! LG 5070CW washer - wash cycle temps are way low compared to info LG provided - Cold is suppose to be 66 degrees, ours runs 50 - Hot is suppose to be 120 degrees, ours runs 75. Called LG and they said it was because it was a top fill washer, and that I needed to use some of the specialized cycles to get hotter temps - basically makes half of the cycle choices not usable. The manual doesnt mention anything about this issue. LG supervisor said they are looking into some typos in the manual to help with this issue. I spent $800+ on this washer and feel that we were duped. LG doesnt seem to care at all about the errors in their manual.

We purchased an LG refrigerator model # LFXS29766s and an LG double oven stove on 9/3/2016 after the salesperson raved about the quality and reliability of LG’s appliances. On the evening of 8/22/2019 the refrigerator failed (just shy of the 3 year mark). The freezer started to defrost and the ice makers stopped working. By the next morning the refrigerator had stopped cooling and food was found at room temperature. Everything was tossed. A claim was filed through Home Depot (where product was initially purchased with a 5 yr protection plan) and was then forwarded to LG. I was informed on Monday 8/26 by an LG manager that there is no local service department in my area and that service was scheduled through a subcontractor (A&E Service) with the soonest availability being 9/17/2019 (3 weeks out) and that they had no one else that would/could service the refrigerator. They said they could escalate to 9/9/2019 but that is the very best they could offer which is still 2 weeks. The LG manager I spoke to said they would reimburse me up to $200 if I bought a mini fridge to hold us over. I already have a mini fridge and it isn’t suitable unless I plan on feeding my family cereal for the next 2 weeks. We need a functioning refrigerator ASAP and if I go out and buy a new one I’ve basically just thrown away the $2,442.00 I spent on this one. Now we sit here, stuck with a faulty refrigerator, no food in the house and we’re expected to wait weeks for a resolution. This is not acceptable.

I purchased my LG Refrigerator French Door LFXC24726S on 9/5/15 from Best Buy. This refrigerator is used seasonally from June through September each year and winterized. In July of 2017 or after about 6 months of actual usage Error FF (indicating a fan problem) appeared and the refrigerator ceased to cool. A local repairman (not LG) replaced two fans with no improvement. Since an LG repairman was unavailable on a timely basis I was forced to buy a replacement refrigerator since this is a seasonal rental home. I was able to get an authorized LG repairman in late August who with consultation with LG Tech Support diagnosed a probable Main Control Board issue since the board has been updated to correct a known internal fan icing issue. No repairs have been under warranty so after $300 for fan replacement and $500 for board replacement the refrigerator still produced Error FF and does not function.I would gladly join a class action suit because this is simply unacceptable. Foreign quality that is being sold to the American public by our big box stores. Furthermore, I have been unable to talk to a technical representative at LG myself getting bounced between the standard 800 customer service and the LG parts distributor. My authorized LG repair service indicates that LG is frequently difficult to deal with. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING MANUFACTURED BY LG!

We bought model LFX31925SB/00 in 2012. Within a few weeks it started making loud sounds and by the second month, it died the first time. LG sent a repair guy and he reset it and it was fine. After about four week, it died again. This time he came back and had to replace the motherboard. I had made a couple weeks worth of meals, because I was having a baby. We came home from the hospital and the refrigerator was dead and the kitchen was FLOODED!! We lost all of our food AND had a damaged floor. I had to deal with the LG customer service, which was a waste of time. They did absolutely nothing. Then I had to call hhgregg and deal with their customer service. Im not sure which one is worse. We ended up getting a repair man ourselves, who had to replace the motherboard three times. What we thought was a good investment has ended up costing us probably five times more than what we spent buying it, counting what we lost when it died. We wouldve been better off buying the most expensive, top of the line refrigerators out there. At least then we would have something that would be worth the money we spent.

Pity theres not a less than 0 stars option. I do several loads of laundry a week for a family of five. The washer doesnt even wet the clothes: I mean the clothes are actually dry in the middle of the load; only the outside of a medium-sized load gets wet. I called LG. When I told the repair guy that the washer didnt get the clothes wet, he checked it and said nothings wrong, thats just how it goes. Here is the proper way to use this washer: Pretreat and load clothes. Run water in laundry room sink until hot; fill a bucket with soapy water, and pour over clothes in machine to make sure they get wet. Set washer to: cotton, pre-wash, extra high heat, highest spin speed, heavily soiled, water plus, and turn on the machine. Wait two and a half hours, and then repeat. Thats right--about two and a half hours to get a load done, five to get them more-or-less presentable. Cold is cold; tap cold--whatever that it--is cold, warm is cold, hot is cold, extra hot is actually hot.I emailed Energy Star: they said that if I have a problem with the machine I should call the manufacturer. When I explained that the machine was working to spec--that it was designed that way--they explained that they DONT TEST the Energy Star machines to make sure they do the job theyre supposed to, they rely on the manufacturer to confirm that the appliance does the job its supposed to AND meet Energy Star requirements. Somebody needs to clue in the EPA and Energy Star: if you have to wash every load twice, in blazing hot water, and replace the appliance every 3 - 5 years (typical of modern machines) youre not saving resources. Getting rid of this and getting an old-fashioned Speed Queen.

Updated on 01/08/2019: After two failures and unsuccessful repairs, Asurion sent another repair company over. The repairman walked into the house and said I know what the problem is already as he heard the compressor groaning in the kitchen. After conferring with his boss over the phone, I was informed that they no longer will do repairs on LG products because LG does not pay their invoice. So not only does Home Depot continue to sell this junk, but the repair shops that would handle the extended warranty repairs will not work on LG. A couple of weeks later, Asurion (out of the blue) called and said that a reimbursement check was being sent. Could that be due to the class action lawsuit recently filed nationwide against LG?? So we got the check, disposed of the LG, and bought a KitchenAid that sits quietly in the kitchen, keeping things cool and keeping us composed. OH, and never a word from LG through any of this business.Original Review: Two Compressors in Two Months...LG is junk: We purchased this LG from Home Depot in December of 2016. It had great features, was very attractive, and large capacity. In November, 2017 we returned home to find the kitchen flooded and the fridge was warm. We called the Home Depot warranty company and a repairman came out two days later. They didnt have local repairmen so he came from 60 miles away btw. He said it was the compressor and he said he replaces LG compressors on a regular basis. Ultimately it took him 3 weeks to obtain one due to LG being out of stock on compressors. He installed it and the warranty company gave us a food reimbursement check. Two days later, the same thing happened! Spoiled food. Flood. Repairman showed up again and repeated the slow ordering process. Home Depot sent over a small dorm fridge just in time for Thanksgiving. Now the compressor is again making noises. LG is totally unresponsive to this; they would rather the repairmen make the repairs for them, that they are too cheap to do upon manufacture.

Dont buy any LG Refrigerators! It might be less expensive, but it will create more trouble to you. My LG refrigerator failed less than 5 years. Their consumer services and local 3rd party technician are not well trained. The $350 I paid for services is down in the drain. If they dont know how to fix it, just tell me and I will buy a new one. Dont buy LG.

I purchased an LG front load washer about 6 months ago from Sears. It began leaking from the bottom within 3 months of purchase. I called LG and after 5 hours of run around through their customer service. Customer service reps are all from India or Philippines. They have no idea what you are saying. They email you videos to watch on how to clean your machine. Finally after I lost my temper they set up an appointment for a tech to come out. We will see what happens. This leak is substantial and has caused major water damage and possibly mold to the walls and floor. Has destroyed the item stored within 6 feet of the washer. I would have called sooner but instead I thought the pipes in my walls or slab leak. After turning the water off to my home I discovered it was my brand new washing machine.

On Sat. Oct 18, 2014, my brother went into the LG fridge to get something, when he called out to get my attention. I thought it was smoke from oven. All attempt to locate fire in the oven was lean. I opened the kitchen window to air out the smoke. A few minutes later, my son goes to the same fridge in search of something and calls out with a more assured voice, dad I think the smoke is coming from the refrigerator. Upon getting back to the fridge, I opened the fridge part. It was smoke filled. The light was out. Toward the bottom of the fridge, I discovered that the egg carton on top of the cold buckets was on fire. It was still burning. The 18 count egg carton was totally top obliterated, plus a hole ate to the bottom. Bad deal.We recorded the whole experience and took a few pictures. I called LG and spoke to a rep who seemed to be empathetic. LG decided they would have a technician contact me, but non was available for the next two weeks. The rep told us that she would call me the next day after getting to work, at about 08:30, with a possible contact. She didnt. When my wife called them, she got nothing but the run around. Two days later, I spoke with a rep who was not getting to the bottom of the issue. Then I requested to talk to a manager. The manager patched the issue over to the Executive team, who made the decision after seeing the videos and pictures, that the fire was no fault of theirs. LG never sent a technician to look at my LG refrigerator. LG said people call and complain for different reasons. Thats subject to anyones interpretation. The long and short of the story is that cold refrigerators should never burn inside. It should smother out fire, not attract it.

I love the brand so I thought it was a much better choice. I like how the refrigerator gives ice and it is great. Love the color and the spacing in the freezer. Love the white color on the inside. And it looks great on my wall. Love how it is built to last and hope it does. But I dont like how much space is taking and there should be more light. It could be much better color. It is not too heavy and love the electrical and it is okay. Could be way better.

Brand new $2500 French door refrigerator not cooling or making ice out of the box. LG “support“ made me test it different things for 2 days straight. Just long enough to be past the 2 day return policy at Home Depot. Lost hundreds of dollars in meats and seafood in my freezer. Turns out the main PCB board which is the brains of the refrigerator is defective. I demanded a new refrigerator and have been given the run around from LG for the past week, not to mention rudely spoken to and hung up on several times. Home Depot does not stand behind the product forcing a replacement. Terrible experience with both companies. I have a non working refrigerator and no answers to this day. Buyers beware! Go with Whirlpool from a private appliance store that knows the product.

I purchased glass top electric range, French door refrigerator, dishwasher, & microwave about 7 years ago. I’ve already had all 3 major appliance serviced. Dishwasher 6mos after purchase, frig 3 yrs, range 6 mod ago flashed F9 no heat in oven. Now 2 LG elements on stove, sometimes heat up, sometimes not. Usually if I put them on high the will go on, but can’t regulate them. I’ve always owned GE appliances and never replaced bc they no longer worked. They’d been out dated. This will be my 2nd repair for a couple hundred $$ within 6mos on a 7yr old stove. Also NO ONE wants to service LG. At least in my area. Appliances look great but not dependable.

After the first year of ownership, what I thought was an investment of a lifetime, has evolved into the mistake of a lifetime. This washing machine (LG WT1201C) is depositing some kind of a black substance all over my entire wash. When rubbing this deposit while wet it dissolves into some kind of oily residue. I had three different service technicians from three different companies all of which said I needed to clean the machine more. Really??? One technician went as far as to say it had something to do with the drain line. I have used every product imaginable to clean the tub to include bleach, vinegar, tub clean from Affresh, and Tide, none of which has resolved the problem. I have even removed the drain hose from the machine, and washed it out (which should not have to be done). The slime inside the hose is not the same substance which is being deposited on my clothes. I had a very expensive set of sheets ruined on the first experience, not to mention having to drive across town to wash my clothes. The problem seemed to have subsided for a while, but now it is back with a vengeance. I called LG to set up a service call and spoke with Cyrus on 6-6-16 who informed me I would have to call back and schedule an appointment with Sears and was given the phone number of 800-905-9505. Cyrus stated these people were trained to work on LG products. I called the number provided on June 11th speaking with Donald and set the appointment for Monday June 20th and was given the repair ticket # **. On June 20th the technician didnt bother to show up or call, after I had taken the day off from work for this repair. I called LG in regards to this matter and spoke with Tori ID#**, who informed me they (Sears Center) had treated her just as poorly when questioning why the technician had not shown up or called. To make matters worse the Scheduling Department took it upon themselves to schedule an appointment for the next day, Tuesday. Again I placed a call to the Service Center to cancel this service call as I had not made the appointment and would not be available due to my work schedule. I explained, to the male on the phone, not to schedule any appointments as I would call back when I had time available. The following day I received another automated call to inform me a technician would be arriving on Thursday. Again I had to place a call to cancel this appointment. To escalate this matter even more on 6-27-16 I called the Sears Service Center, and was informed they could not schedule a service call for Saturday, as this was a warranty call and they do not do warranty work on Saturday, just non-warranty work, and I was informed, by Sears I would have to call LG back as my repair order had been cancelled, which I did, and spoke with Heather, who informed me they have no control over when Sears schedules their technician. On 6-29-16 I started the calling game all over again placing a call to 800-905-9505, and the female answering the phone said she could not schedule any appointments for any Saturday. I then asked to speak with the supervisor and spoke with Robert for the second time. When he started to say they didnt have any Saturdays available I advised him I had already spoken to him and knew he was not telling the truth. All of a sudden magic happened. I was given the date of July 9th with a service # of **. When asking Robert where this call center was he stated it was Columbia.

I bought an LG front-loading washing machine. Within 2 years, the cycle stopped repeatedly in the middle of a wash. An internal part had broken. I had to replace it at cost. The same replacement broke the next year. I replaced it at cost. That same replacement broke. Same story. I asked myself if it was part of LGs plan to make faulty parts so the consumer would have to pay every year to replace them. After 6 years, the programming motherboard broke (dont ask me what it is called -- it manages all the settings on the machine) completely broke down. The wash stopped repeatedly during a cycle so I had to restart again and again and a 30-minute wash would take 2 hours. Many times it never finishing the final spin. LG said the replacement part would be $150.BUT then they called back and said since the machine is 6 years old, they wont supply the part anymore. They wanted me to buy a new washing machine after 6 years! I told them I would never buy another LG product. Instead I found the part from a third party supplier, and I hope my machine will last another 10 years so I dont have to spend on a completely new machine. My advice: NEVER BUY from LG unless you plan to replace parts every year and replace your entire expensive appliance every 5-6 years. Since they stop supplying parts, you will need a new machine.

This company is a joke! Just look at all the 1 star complaints. Where were these reviews when I purchased? Well, the refrigerator was a brand new model with a brand new design called a linear compressor. This so-called ‘energy saver’, has been verified a complete disaster. It was faulty from day 1 and all the technicians will agreed. LG has since redesigned it, so now instead of 1 1/2 to 2 years, it is made to last up to 3 years before it fails. Save on energy? Perhaps, but you will pay through the nose on faulty parts every couple of years. It will cost you at minimum of $1,000 for the compressor to be replaced and a bit less to have your motherboard replaced when it fails. This does not include the hundreds to thousands in wasted food when the refrigerator crashes, the 2 to 6 week wait for a certified repair person (eat out every night?), the hours spent dealing with LG (NON-EXISTENT) customer service, who will never return a call or follow-up, who will argue with you, mock you, and make up lies regarding what their warranty plainly says in writing and in an easy to read chart, which they will refuse to honor. I urge you all to file an online complaint with your states attorney generals office. They handle these types of cases. Instead of complaining on here, where nothing will come of it, take a moment to get real action. They are basically stealing! They are the ones who manufactured faulty parts, they should be held responsible. If you bought a car that had a defective part, there would be a recall and the company would replace it. But LG has no honor, or concern for the millions of dollars paid out by consumers to repair or replace their products. They will NEVER care, unless they are FORCED TO!!! Aside from your State Attorney General, complaints to the Better Business Bureau, media outlets, blogs, complaint sites, The Federal Trade Commission (FTC), State Consumer Affairs Departments, letters to the store managers who carry their products, etc. LETS MAKE THEM ACCOUNTABLE!

It is now Jan 11, 2022 and I have had 5 LG technicians come to my home with 5 different possible causes from – You must have left your refrigerator open- to – Maybe YOU spilled something down into the ducts causing the compressor to die – to – The doors are not level, the front cross strip is not balanced, and the compressor was installed wrong and is now leaking Freon! STILL, they don’t return calls and just continue to send technicians every 7 days. They have ordered at least 5 parts and still – the fridge does not get below 46 degrees!!! The freezer frosts, the ice maker drips and I am fed up. I keep calling and making complaints – I think they are due for another class action lawsuit! LG means Losing Game! DO NOT BUY THEIR REFRIGERATORS. ONE TECHNICIAN TOLD ME HE HAS NEVER SEEN THEM REPLACE A FRIDGE IN HIS CAREER! A refund is a unicorn. LG, I’ll keep calling for my $3500 hunk of metal. I’ve had to buy backup deep freezers and form refrigerators to keep milk in the house! LG – stick to washers and terrible cell phones. The refrigerators main CKT board failed (blown fuse) 7 months after purchase on 3/12/2009 resulting in spoiled food. LGs authorized repairs first repair was to jump the fuse. After complaints, I received a new board, which the repair facility installed. I kept the old board. Last week the start relay on the compressor failed also resulting in a loss of several hundred dollars in food. Contacted LG and they referred me to Encompass after I received the so-called replacement relay from Repair Clinic. (It had 2 terminals that plug into the compressor and was not the correct part, which is a 3 terminal device (relay/OLP) with 2 receptacles on the opposite side for the start capacitor and 2 spade connectors for the power (line and neutral). (An easy repair if you have the correct part.) Contacted at least 3 other part suppliers including Encompass and all had the same information and same wrong part. After spending $1600 for this appliance and losing hundreds of dollars in spoiled food and many hours trying to contact LG technicians, I have temporarily hooked up a Supco 3 in 1 (relay, OLP, and the original capacitor). I am a retired physics and electricity teacher (41 years experience) and I think their support is terrible. I wouldnt recommend this company to anyone. The pictures submitted show the original relay, the two replacement parts (relay and overload protector), manufacturers tag and receipt).

We bought an LG Refrigerator back in 2013 and had problems with it closing properly, since day one. Over time my produce would not stay as fresh, so about a month ago we had it professionally moved to our garage for a backup fridge (to keep drinks cold). Due to it being a much warmer setting it caused my unit to have to work in overdrive to keep it cool. In return causing it to overheat and it stopped cooling the fridge and freezer causing everything in the freezer to spoil. I paid $90 for a technician to come out and he diagnosed it with a bad sealed system (which let me had that the sealed system was a terrible concept). LG said they will warranty the part but I am responsible for the $1,000 labor :( I will never again purchase an LG product for the reason. Poorly made and do not back up their poorly made products!!!

I would never buy this type of range again. The large burners are in the front, where one would place a large stock pot. It is very dangerous to have such a large pot positioned in front. You have to reach over it to get to the smaller pots. Its very dangerous. The reason I bought this range was because it matches the refrigerator. It looks good, but it is difficult to use. I can manage it, because it is just my husband and myself. If I had a young family, I would get rid of it (even though it is new). It could become a hazard with small children around. We bought LG top load washer and front dryer as a pair; WT5170HV, 5-2012. Oh wait - yes I do - we, as consumers, continue to buy their products so they keep making them this way. I wish LG would have honor and integrity in their business and fix the circuit board and dryer drum challenges that millions of people are having.

I bought the LG LSXS26326 refrigerator in the 2015 with a 10 compressor warranty. The compressor failed 2021. When I contacted LG I was told by LG that they do not have service techs in the area. Three week wait just to get a third-party service company to do diagnostics, then the part can be ordered, which has a 3-5 business day turn around time. Multiple service companies refused to do LG service work. The LG service website lists available service providers in the area, but upon contact they all stated they no longer support LG warranty or service work. I will never buy another LG product.

I purchased a $3,000 refrigerator from LG. It looks beautiful. From the first month, I have had nothing but problems. I was so glad I bought extended warranty. Unfortunately, the warranty is useless because even the replacements become problems within a few months. This company has extremely poor quality products and extremely poor customer service. I have had an ongoing issue with mold growing on the inside of a piece of plastic on the front of the shelves. The company, without even coming out, told me it was not their problem. The company repairman came out to repair the perpetually broken ice-maker and told me the black line was due to inferior quality Korean plastic. He said it would only come back so he couldnt replace it. Then came an odor which would not go away even though my fridge was immaculate. This odor then took over the ice and water and even with the replacement, the water and ice are unusable because of the taste. The mold has to be coming from within the plastic. I have broken this plastic front piece due to putting Clorox on it every few months. But it continues to grow back. This is a potential health risk. The company refuses to even replace the piece of plastic that had to be pried apart in order to put Clorox in the mold. This is not normal, especially since there is nothing in my fridge most of the time. Be very careful and check this company out before purchasing. I have spent so much time waiting for repairmen only to have them tell me that the problems are not under warranty or that it is something not repairable.

I have waited over three months for my order to be filled by LG, I placed my order through an reputable online Dealer. The Dealer was very responsive at first, after the order was filled by LG and I paid in FULL they stopped returning my emails. The order was for a Multi F MAX LGRED System w/ four indoor units. The order was drop shipped by LG but I have not received ANY information from LG, all I have is a product shipped confirmation from the Dealer. So this sale is now in the hands of LG and I have no idea where my product is? Where it shipped from? Or how long I will wait for it? The Holidays approach and that may interfere with accepting any freight without prior arrangement for obvious reasons. I have no idea how to contact LG, or how I would reference my order even if I could contact them.Customer Care with this Company is ridiculously poor, I spent a bunch of money and I am in the Dark on my end. I cant review the product until I get my hands on it. But I can review the Manufacturer and their complete lack of customer Care and communication. I could have purchased something else, I should have, it would be installed by now and I wouldnt be wasting my time writing this out of sheer frustration with LG.

I have bought this LG Intello 6.5 Kg washing machine (Product T7066MN) in 2009 for Rs 12,000, and it is just out of warranty, and it has stopped working. I reported this to customer care on 1/9/2012, and the engineer reported a major repair worth Rs 4,000. My concern is the machine is just out of warranty and has such major parts under repair. Is this the quality of LG products? My previous machines I bought had minimum life before coming to repair (6 years). What is the guarantee that if I spend Rs 4,000 now, which is 1/3 the original cost, it will solve all of the problems? I would not recommend LG products to anyone. They just have good looks and no quality.

The LG over-the-range microwave MODEL LMV1683ST caught on fire. This appliance was manufactured in December 2014 and I purchased it at Lowes in March 2015. On July 3, 2015 the unit started sparking and smoking and then flames started shooting inside the unit. 4 months old and LG thinks it might be repairable. I dont want that unit in my house. I have spend several hours cumulatively on the phone trying to get a new unit. The unit only cost $200, yet they have sent repair people to my home. The cost of the repair time has exceeded the cost of goods and out of frustration, LG has created a consumer that will never buy another LG product. The poor Customer Service Reps must hate their job. They are not empowered to really help the consumer. It seems to me that LG has a lot to learn about customer satisfaction.

Long story short the tech wanted to charge 850.00 labor, LG had said 200 to 250 for labor on their website. I call back LG and told them about the misleading information on their website. 850.00 on a 4 years old refrigerator I can get a new and better brand for 1300.00. I hate LG.

My husband and I purchased a new LG refrigerator just 2 years ago. TWO weeks ago right before July 4th everything defrosted and melted in the freezer and the refrigerator went warm. I called LG warranty service and purchased a service plan. They scheduled to come July 6th. They cancelled that appointment because they overbooked pushed me back to July 11th. Five days later. This brings us to July 10th by 4 o clock I havent heard from them with the scheduled time so I called them. I found out they cancelled again! They didnt even have the decency to call. They would not give us a date when someone could get here. We were told we would receive a callback in 1 to 2 business days with a date. We refused to accept this or hang up because they can not be trusted. Over a long time probably a hour later we finally got a date. Saturday. Another 5 days.So we have been out a ref for 2 weeks. Tried to call someone ourselves to get this fixed. They came said it might be the fan but they are unable to get the part because LG wont give them the look up a number so we have 2 options wait another 5 days and hope they actually come or buy a new refrigerator. 2000 dollars down the drain for a new refrigerator. So beware when buying LG appliances. Its safe to say I will never ever buy an LG product again. LG corporation also did nothing. All they wanted to do is confirm our appointment. I can do that dont need them to do that for us. So stand clear of LG got sold a lemon and cant even get it fixed. Updates repair man came 2 weeks later got the new compressor and guess what still doesnt work. I am a month without a refrigerator with 2 kids in the summer. Never again will I go with LG for anything.

Im so glad to have found this. Thought I was crazy. Our LG frontload washer smells terrible and weve had service calls out 3 times for what looks like pen marks all over our white clothes. Its not a pen. The first time they said it was a drum shooting oil onto our clothes; nice. They replaced the drum. The second time, service didnt show up. The third time they said it was because the washers accumulate black slime that is accumulating throughout the internal parts of the washer and will randomly shoot out the black ink appearing lines. Do not ever purchase an LG. They make a good TV, but not washers or kitchen appliances. They also do not have service centers anywhere in our area (maybe our country?).

I have an LG refrigerator, model # LFC2576OTT. I opened the doors to get a drink in the morning to notice that the unit was so hot. The plastic that connects the module to the inner roof (on the inside) had melted like string cheese. And lights were brown and burnt looking. It also smelled like melted plastic and electrical fire or burning wires. I just thank God that we hadnt left to go out of town yet, because the underside of the cabinet and the top of the fridge were too hot to touch. I fear it may have caught on fire. It was so hot on the top level of our fridge that the metal rings of some of our canned goods had resealed! We lost all our food and canned goods. We had already (one year prior) established a complaint about the product due to poor plastic construction of door handle hinges. After looking on-line, I saw that both of these are common problems with these refrigerators. LG should recall these refrigerators before someone gets hurt. Please someone do a class action suit, because it is apparent to me that LG is not going to take responsibility for their faulty products.

In October of 2019 I purchased a full suite of LG appliances, refrigerator, range, microwave, dishwasher, washer/dryer. All purchased from and installed by Best Buy. I really like all the appliances and they all seem to perform well, with the exception of the dishwasher. I have a constant and ongoing problem with it draining. This problem appeared within the first month. Best Buy came out and could not replicate the problem. In January the same problem again. Best Buy replaced the drain pump. That lasted less than one week. By this point Best Buy was no longer off in home service appointments because of the Covid-19 thing.I went to the LG web. Requested a repair. The service responded the next day, came out a determined a new control board was needed. A week later they came out to replace it. That lasted 4 days. I am now once again without a dishwasher. Ive again requested service from LG but have yet to hear back, that was yesterday. Today I called your 800 number and ended up hanging up on your representative because of the poor service offered by her. Its time you replace this dishwasher, as I am tired of having to arrange my schedule to fit in repairs that last less than a week.

Our story starts with a happy purchase of an LG Refrigerator (LGXS24623) at Home Depot in September 2018 that was supposed to arrive in about 6 weeks. It never got to us, we called Home Depot to inquire and they said, “Oh sorry, it’s lost, we’ll see what we can do, it will take another couple of weeks”. Long story short, we received our fancy new fridge. We connected, set it up and after about 4 hours we opened the door and it wasn’t cold. We changed the temperature a bit and waited a bit more, but nothing changed. It was warmer in the fridge than in the kitchen. Time to call LG… Long phone call, more waiting, nothing, fridge still warm. It was a useless service, they were not able to help. Called LG again in the morning, on Sunday. They booked a server technician for Thursday or Friday which meant 5 more days with no fridge. They also asked for some paperwork which we scanned and sent the same night. Thursday, I receive a voicemail from the technician that he has no paperwork from LG and he’s tentatively setting up a visit for Saturday afternoon. Called LG, had more discussions on the phone, they promised to give an answer in the same day… I did not hear from them again. On Friday I finally managed to get in touch with the technician, who promised to come Saturday between 3-5. He finally showed up at 5:45, I guess they are very busy fixing LG’s faulty fridges, to tell us the compressor is dead and left to order a new compressor. We will not be ordering from LG in the future, the fridge reviews are good, I cannot tell you anything about that since mine never worked, but the LG service is the worst you can find. They never saw a problem in letting a customer live without a fridge for weeks, one service agent had the audacity to tell us he grew up without a fridge… I wonder if this is in their protocol.

This fridge hasnt worked from day one. I have been on with about 20 reps from LG and have gotten nowhere until I threatened to take them to court and call my local channel 7 news. And believe me, I will. These people just want to fix the broken part and blame you for all the fridges problems. I am done. I will continue to fight until I have a brand new fridge or my money back! I will keep you posted. Junk. Junk!

We purchased our LG refrigerator 3 years ago and have had two problems with it. A year ago, the valve controlling the drinking water ceased working and it cost us over $200 for the repair from Freds Appliance in Madison, Ohio. A month ago, we noticed a mushroom type growth near the base of the refrigerator and discovered that the water line feeding the drinking water and icemaker had a slit in it and was spraying water on the floor. The flooring is ruined and the repairs, not including the fridge, exceed $1,300. Freds denies any responsibility with the problem even though they are the only ones that have moved the fridge since it was initially installed. In conclusion, the purchase of your product was a terrible mistake and we have difficulty understanding how a company can ignore problems like this.

I placed calls to LG to arrange for my 3 year old refrigerator to have a new compressor installed. I had a local company confirm this was the reason for the breakdown. The first call at the beginning of the year did not ever end up with a response or resolution (someone was supposed to contact me). I waited several months and contacted LG again. The support desk had me upload all of my warranty information to their site through a provided link. Again, I was assured that someone would contact me to arrange this repair within a short period of time. Again, this did not ever occur.Today, almost a year later, I have purchased a new appliance because keeping my food in a cooler for 10 months was not an option. I have posted the fridge for scrap on Kijiji and a local person responded within an hour to remove it from my home. Too bad that LG couldnt have responded as efficiently. A lot of wasted money in both purchase price and time trying to resolve/arrange the warranty. My questions are these. How is it that a manufacturer is not held accountable for failure to provide what they are legally responsible for? What recourse is there when this process fails? At what point does one give up because they have spent hours and hours trying to get the warranty service? Like many Canadians, I am a working individual and dont have endless hours to dedicate to continued follow-up. Appliances are expensive purchases yet there seems to be no process where the companies are made responsible for providing the warranty coverage they espouse. My hope is that this changes in the future.

There are so many things we dislike about this appliance. 1. Its very difficult to judge the temperature of the cooktop. The burner turns on and off and the heat is not consistent while cooking. 2. Extremely difficult to keep it clean. It does not clean up well even though people say it does. Even after wiping the surface clean it still has marks or rings on it. 3. When we cook food in the oven it does not cook evenly. When we make a pizza it looks done. When we take it out and begin eating it I discover parts of the pizza that are still cold. Its very odd. The edges can look crispy but parts are still uncooked. 4. Sometimes NEW does not mean better. The old style gas ranges are so much better than these new style appliances. 5. Numbers on the dials are very difficult to read. Depending on the light in your kitchen you may have trouble even reading whether you have your dial set on 3 or 8, etc. The light gray print on the knobs is not contrasting enough to be easy to see. Again, an old fashioned white dial with black letters is a win win in my book.Advice - DO NOT BUY THIS or any LG appliance - we have the microwave and the refrigerator too and dont like those either.

We just purchased an LG kitchen package including the glass top electric LG range with knobs on the front (LSE4613/LSE4611) and had it delivered on 7/11/20. We have had it in our home for one week and weve accidentally turned the front knobs on multiple times by reaching into the microwave, cleaning the back splash, or reaching above into a cabinet. The knobs should not be that easy to turn. They are a push and turn style knob. We went back to the store to begin an exchange process for a model with the knobs in the back, but we are very disappointed because we like the appearance of this style much better. We are shocked by how easy it is to turn these knobs and really dont want to have to resort to ugly child proofing on our brand new appliances. Is there a better option?

Bought my house 1.5 ago and brand new appliances came with it including the LG refrigerator. Don’t get me wrong I LOVED this fridge at first, however December 31st my compressor went out. Called LG the next day they said a tech in the area would call us to schedule a diagnosis. Took the techs three days to call us. I won’t hold that against them because it was the holidays however the earliest they will be out here to diagnose my fridge is the 14th. That is TWO weeks without a working fridge and this is just to diagnose it.When I called customer service again I found out the technician may not even have the part to fix the fridge when he is here!!! To top it off local people where I live will not touch LG products because of a lawsuit going on with the compressor and the hassle it is to be paid and receive the parts from LG. Even if I could find a local appliance tech to fix it it will still take LG a week to provide them with a letter of approval! So it puts me right back at two weeks or possibly more without any means to cool my perishable items unless I buy a ton of coolers and ice or a mini fridge which still would not fit all of my items. If I could give LG less than a star I would. Poor products and absolutely no care for their customers. The next appliances I buy will be anything but an LG.

About 12 noon, and returning from our weekly grocery shopping, we discovered that the lighting in the refrigerator was no longer working. We then noticed moisture all around the top of the doors and upon further checking, discovered the refrigerator was no longer working. It is over 80 humid degrees outside and a Saturday. It is our belief that the circuit board needs to be replaced. There were no signs whatsoever that something might be going wrong. After 5 years of normal use, the oven in my LG LRE30955ST electric range stopped working (cut off during use). I paid the LG technician $260 in March 2013 to fix it. After 1 month, it started to malfunction, but the malfunction was sporadic. Two months after the repair, the oven started running up to maximum temperature during use and burning whatever was in the oven. I called LG and they sent out the same technician. He changed all control boards and relay boards. He tested the oven and said it now works. I tried to use the oven a couple of days later and it would not turn on. I did a reset. This happened a few times so I did not trust to use the oven. Then on July 4th, I cooked ribs on the grill and turned the oven to warm to keep the ribs warm. The oven ran out of control, but I discovered the smoking oven before the ribs were ruined. I called LG and they argued with me for 1 hour before agreeing to send a technician out to look at the problem. They wanted to troubleshoot it over the phone... You know, the normal BS... is it plugged in, are the oven racks properly placed, did you turn it on properly, etc. The kind of things that makes you angry. LG has a recall on this model, but they say my problem is not related to the recall. They will have to charge me again for fixing the problem. Anyway, long story short... dont buy LG appliances. They are poorly designed and they are poorly supported. The tech is coming out again, but I doubt that it will be properly fixed. I expect that I will toss my 5-year-old, $1,500 range in the trash and buy a different brand.

Bought on sale from Lowes. Front loader with removable drain filter for cleaning every 30 or so days. Has worked well for cleaning and takes liquid or dry soap. Doesnt always deal well with tablets. Has all types of cycles and add water and timing feature along with Bluetooth though I have never found need to use that feature. Seems to be well built and comes with 10 year drive system guarantee. Also has a really good balance system for unbalanced loads such that it works the cloth forwards and backwards until load is balanced before final spin. Older models dont have that feature and eventually tear themselves apart spinning an unbalanced load. Works well and saves water and detergent and has all features. Have had for 2 years 5 adults using fourteen loads per week.

We purchased a new LG stove from Best Buy. The oven failed to work under warranty. We called LG and they told us that the stove needed to have a dedicated electrical line. We had it done. By the time it was done, the stove was beyond warranty. Three hundred dollars later, the oven failed to work. LG would not deal with it. I called Geek Squad to try to fix it. They could not fix it. A wonderful tech came out. He did not charge me. I still do not have a working oven. I will purchase a Viking stove and dump this piece of garbage. I needed a washer/dryer and purchased a Samsung unit. I am very happy with the unit and the experience. LG is all talk. The LG unit is the worst experience one could have. I fully expect to file a consumer fraud complaint against LG.

1) Super-duper energy efficiency is achieved by hard tumbling. I always set up this machine on the lowest possible setting for soil and spinning, yet it ruined a whole load of clothes. Everything made of knitted fabric (read: all T-shirts and all short-sleeve shirts) after one single washing cycle is stretched to the point that it is no longer usable, precisely - became 2 times wider and 2 times shorter. Also, I have 2 regular shirts ruined - the machine tears off buttons with pieces of fabric, and just tears apart fine fabric. I want to underline again - it happened on the lowest soil and spin setting. So, basically, if you are interested in Delicate cycle - it does not exist. All other cycles have no value, since you will get your clothes ruined anyway. The only thing the machine could be usable - washing jeans and soldier uniforms. Towels and linens are okay too, but forget about washing your clothes, any knitted and fine fabric.2) Because it is high energy efficiency machine, you cannot choose water temperature. Well, nominally you can, but in practice it tries to use cold water. In most of the settings except the last one, you will get cold water in the washing tank. The highest possible setting, hot/warm still uses cold water from the tap, and the machine does not have a water heater. So, to get hot water only you have to dance around it, and turn cold water tap off, then on.3) Water efficiency feature does not exist - it has a couple of settings like half tank and full tank. So, if you want to wash a couple of jeans or 4 shirts, you will get a half tank of water, and the tank is huge.Overall - taking into account the price, the efficiency, and the amount of good clothes I have spoiled by the machine - this is the worst purchase in my life.

My mom actually suggested that I picked that brand and I thought it would be good to give it a try since Ive never had one before. So far its been good. I think its perfect as it is. It has everything that I need in a fridge. I like the double doors on top and the fridge on the bottom. I think its more convenient that way since I use more stuff in the fridge. I dont have to climb on the floor.

I have been reading many of the disturbing complaints in this forum regarding the LG washer recall and can only add to the frustration expressed here. My parents purchased one of the models that has been recalled (WT5101HV Serial No. 007KWYP02018), about 18 months ago. The machine was acting up, and they just got the letter about 2 months ago. We called LG and scheduled to have a technician come out, and they did the software patch download. This was a joke! It did not fix the problem, instead it only perpetuated it. Now, instead of the wash load spinning rapidly out of balance.... it spins much more slowly and still out of balance! In addition, the wash and rinse cycles still do not work properly. The machine starts the normal wash cycle, and never drains any of the soapy water! Instead, it keeps adding more and more water (just like before). It only drains all of the dirty soapy water (very slowly) at the end of the Full wash/rinse/and softener cycle. And it never properly spins the wet clothes to remove excess dirty water. This process takes 3 times as long as before, and the clothes never come out totally clean. A simple load can take all day to complete! They are ready to Dump the unit in the ocean! Does anyone know if there is any kind of class action or formal legal group that is trying to get LG to make customers whole?

LG appliances have been the worst ever. My dishwasher failed (fire developed) after a little over 2 years. My refrigerator - only 16 months old - failed and I lost hundreds of dollars of food and after one week, its still not repaired. My LG microwave lasted 2 months and had to be replaced. No more LG. Lousy goods.

Spent almost $3000 less than 3 years ago on a refrigerator. On April 7 it just quit cooling.... I understand things happen but the customer service I received trying to get it repaired was terrible!! I finally had to file a Better Business Bureau complaint to get a buy back. But I went over 2 months without a fridge. 2 months of dealing with LG who really cared less about my issues. There is a class action lawsuit happening. LG do the right thing and recall the fridges instead of putting people through this headache. Picture is the fridge going to the landfill.
