Updated on 08/15/2020: Its now 8/15/2020, nearly 10 weeks into the saga of my LG refrigerator. The tech called me on 7/1/20 to say that a refund had been approved. It took until 7/16/20 to get an email with instructions to follow to get the refund. I followed the instructions and used the FedEx label provided on 7/20/20 by putting the form in the FedEx box. I sent emails and texts to the LG customer service contact and their support center on 8/3/20, 8/10/20 & 8/14/20. I also scanned their letter with the label from the unit (which was fedexed on 7/20) and attached it to the last email in the event that they attempt to say they never got it. Still no response. This is now beyond ridiculous. Oh, did I forget to mention the fact that I have ordered a replacement unit, which is from another manufacturer, but due to Covid-19 wont be available for 4 - 8 weeks and I have to pay for the removal of the LG unit?Updated on 07/16/2020: I posted my story up to 7/11/20, and received a response from LG requesting more of my information on 7/13/20, which I provided, but have not heard back. Meanwhile the customer service rep sends text messages without responding to my texts. Apparently they want the model sticker off the fridge, which I sent a photo of, and since their factory tech already physically inspected the sticker, I am not sure why they want me to scrape it off and mail it in. At this point they should come pick up the unit and keep it for themselves and maybe figure out what is wrong with their product. Meanwhile, remember this started with the freezer side not working, their repairs rendered the entire unit out of commission. By the way, did I mention that it is mid-summer, heat wave time of year. Oh, yeah and now that I am shopping for a replacement, I come to find out there are none available for at least 4 - 6 weeks.Original Review: My 3 1/2 year old LG refrigerator side by side model #LSXS26366S began to act up on 6/7/20 when the freezer side stopped working. Called service on 6/8/20 and was told their factory tech would come out on 6/16/20. Received parts boxes delivery during same week. Tech spent 4 hours at my home on 6/16/20. Left me with trash and old parts, said it was fixed. Next morning some up to a unit that didnt work at all, had to throw away food since fridge side now did not work. Tech came back on 6/17, worked 2 hours and said he had to order more parts, which turned out to be the same ones. They arrived on 6/22, he came back out that same day, spent another 4 hours on unit, said it was fixed, give it 24 hours and then it would be good to go. Called tech on 6/24 since once again the unit was not working. More spoiled food. Good thing it was time to replace the unit. He started process of filing report with my proof of purchase and model info. I also called LG customer service and spent 2.5 hours on the phone to file claim. Provided same proof of purchase info. Got call from tech on 7/2/20 that my unit was approved for replacement. Followed up with customer service, another 1.25 hours later was told to submit my info again and would hear back in 7 to 10 business days.I submitted written request for response on 7/7/20 since they do not answer phone calls. Received email written by an semi-illiterate person named Alexuis ** at LG asking for my info all over again. I forwarded photos of proof of purchase and model that from unit. Now told to remove sticker with model info and FedEx to them and wait another 2 weeks for payment. Not sure how a company of this size can be so poorly run and how they have all these built-in delays to basically force you to just go away. Will never purchase another LG product again and warn everyone I know to beware!

We purchased a $3,000 LG refrigerator September 5, 2015. On February 17th it stopped working. Did not cool. We called our home warranty company, after two visits it was determined it had to be repaired by a certified LG technician. In speaking with LG to set that up, there is only one certified technician in the area. Called them twice to set up an appointment, they never returned the call. In addition, the compressor and all the moving parts are covered by a 7 or 10 year warranty depending on what it is. LG tried to sell me another one-year warranty for $475.00. Searched the reviews on the fridge we have, all of them stated problems with service (i.e., taking off of work to meet the repairman multiple times) only to have the fridge do the same thing within a six month period.Long story short - we went and bought a Whirlpool (made in the USA). BUYER BEWARE, stay away from LG. It does not stand for Life is Good - it stands for Lotsa Grief! I will never buy an LG product of any type - their customer service is beyond awful, their products are not top quality even though you pay a wheelbarrow full of money for them. Before we bought another fridge we called a repairman that we used before for another appliance and asked him what to stay away from - he said LG, Samsung and GE. I wish I had that information before we bought the nightmare that is sitting my kitchen which will be replaced on Saturday.

Got set as gift from brother-in-law after wife helping during death of his wife. The washer has worked fine since 2008. The dryer we have had checked several times, always says vents needed cleaning. Now that I have read reviews of how having to do exactly what we have to do is dry 4-5 times, I am convinced no need to spend any money on this high dollar product. Will purchase a decent dryer... Used to be a washer dryer lasted 20-25 years. What a shame on LG! Never again.

Extra cold crisper takes 15 min to get drinks cold. Everything stays fresh long. Insta view and door to door. You will be very happy with your selection of LG fridges. I would improve the fridge to a more standard size fridge for easy apartment removable, refrigerator is beautiful, elegant, and organized and you can enjoy a nice cold beer or soda after installation. It has a lot of electronic stuff on it that is very use. Refrigerator is worth the price. Its slick design and advanced features far exceeds any other product comparison. Im a LG signature customer full in keeping everything cold. Only owned an LG.

Just over ownership of 1 year (when warranty ends). The bleach cup developed corrosion all around it dripping rust water into my clothes making the washer unusable. I wipe this area off every time I use bleach. Called customer service and they told me that I must not be wiping the bleach off when I spill it. This seems to be an issue with many customers, but still no recall. Also, purchased a 50 OLED TV that stopped working 1 week after use. Will NEVER buy LG again. They used to be a reliable company but now they are the one to avoid at all cost.

I thought a purchase price of $900 would give me a machine that would last like my previous washing machines, both 12 and 15 years. After six years, a pump went out costing $160. Within another month, a rotor went out, along with an outside basket. I was told that this would start at $500 parts and labor. My opinion at this point is until more money means a longer lasting machine. Buy something cheap and replace just as often. I will not buy another LG.

My fridge stopped cooling the night before Thanksgiving. It is still running and the light come on...but not cooling...food lost! I called our Home warranty. Technician to come out, he was there within 3 hours because they consider problems with a refrigerator and emergency. He said it is a compressor leak and there is no Freon left in the appliance. Due to this, he cannot fix so I needed to call LG because it should be under warranty.I called LG first thing in the morning on Friday after Thanksgiving, and they said that they would notify a repair tech to call us and schedule a time to fix the appliance if it was fixable. Monday still no word from them. I called LG back and they said none of the repair shops around me had accepted the order so they would move me to to an escalation group to get scheduled who would call me in 3-5 days...still I have no fridge. I did now get an email saying that they scheduled a consultation with a technician for next Friday...this is where they will come and see what is wrong with my fridge so they can order parts. I explained to them after waiting on hold for 25 minutes...I have notes from a technician that you can use to fix my fridge when they come. They will not do that. Once they order parts, those will take a week or longer to get to my house, then you have to reschedule the tech... This is ridiculous! I am going to be out a refrigerator for a MONTH! And this is an appliance I spent $2200 only 2.75 years ago. The customer service was no help and frankly not that empathetic to the fact that we are a large family and had no fridge over Thanksgiving, let alone now. Very disappointed! This is unacceptable!

I have purchased 5 major appliances from LG in the past 16 months. Several days ago, I noticed ice on some of my frozen products in the freezer. I think I have it narrowed down to a $6 ice tray. It seems bent and lower than level at left front of the plastic tray. When I called to report the problem, all LG wanted to hear was, Did you purchase an extended warranty? I did not. I received a call back a few days later informing me that LG will not help me. The best they will do is to refer me to a plumber at my cost. No, thanks!!! These will be the last LG products (washer, dryer, gas range, dishwasher, and refrigerator) I will buy.

LG stainless steel 33 cubic feet model #LFX 33975ST/01 SN 211KRRE1Y726 double doors with freezer at the bottom. We purchased this lovely fridge for our new home.and purchased a warranty with it just in case we has some issues. We are in Texas it is still hot here or it was while waiting for repairs. Our fridge began making noises and finally just stopped. We requested service on it after waiting a couple of days and troubleshooting for solutions. In the midst of hoping it would start to work again, we lost EVERYTHING in it-steaks, chicken, dressings, everything!! We finally got a service company (Premiere) to come out-2 weeks later. Mind you its hot here in Texas so we have been living out of ice chest now for 3 weeks. They finally come out for repairs after 3 weeks and the compressor is out and the blower. Parts need to be ordered. More weeks of waiting and purchasing ice. They finally came out last week and installed the compressor and the blower. It took 4 hours!! Repairman left after being frustrated that it took so long for him to repair! We were told it would take up to 36 hours to be back to normal and temperature. 3 days passed and our refrigerator never made ice and was still warm!! We called back the repair company and we were told they closed out the claim and we were back in the line again for repairs!!This is horrible, horrible customer service! My family and I have been without a fridge for a month and still dont know now when it will be looked at again. We are starting from scratch. This is a 3000.00 refrigerator! Who in management is reading the customer complaints and who can help us?? We need a new refrigerator!! Everyone has been rude even Home Depot where it was purchased!Over a month without food and groceries and nowhere to put them. We lost over 450.00 of food if not more in our fridge and so many bags of ice. This is unacceptable and I plan to go as high as I can until someone calls to help us with this refrigerator issue. It is still under warranty!! This lovely on the outside not working on the inside fridge is horrible!I am adding these notes to Twitter, Facebook and all social media I can until someone helps us or at least contacts us. This has been a horrible experience!! If you are reading or concerned LG, please contact me. We have been told now it will be a while before someone will be out. Almost 2 months without a refrigerator! Frustrated, angry and disgusted with anything LG.

I havent had my top loader for 4 years yet and this is the 3rd time its broke. I got it at Best Buy and the first time it broke they wouldnt stand behind it all. I didnt purchase the extended warranty because I figured it should last for more than 2 yrs, you would have thought! I spent 800.00 dollars on a machine I thought would last me. Im not made of money so my hard earned money was thrown in the wind. NOW after over 2 weeks of waiting on it to be fixed, THE PART THEY SENT WAS WRONG!!! So now I get to wait again. I WILL NOT recommend this company or Best Buy to anyone. I have called LG and complained many times. The only thing I got out of it was this time they gave me an APM#. I want a new washer. This is a lemon in my books.

My LG electric range touch pad does not always work. Most often it is when I press Bake (350 degree light comes on) and then Start.... and nothing happens!!!! I move my finger all around the area and it wont start. So then I press Clear and voila, no problem; that works just fine!!! In over two years of ownership, this has happened at least a dozen times. Eventually it will work, but there is no rhyme or reason why!!!

Bought French Door fridge with ice and water dispenser about 18 months ago.
Bought French Door fridge with ice and water dispenser about 18 months ago. Had minor problems, but were able to solve them. Today, at 5pm when my service provider is gone until Monday morning, the refrigerator started to emit a burning rubber/Teflon-like smell along with a chemical smell that is sort of sweet. Hard to describe, but it has given me a headache. We pulled the fridge out from its niche and dusted the vents, which we do every couple of months anyway. The smell is still there but it seems to have abated because we opened the windows (its 20 degrees outside so now I have a headache AND I am freezing). According to the door panel, the temperature in both freezer and fridge is constant and not dropping or rising, so that is good.Does anyone have similar experiences and do you know what it might be? I was able to get hold of someone from the company I bought it from - I bought an extended warranty from them - and he said he had no idea what it could be and hes never heard of anything like that on an LG. Said that it might be dust or dog hair - NOPE. I am afraid to leave it plugged in when we go to bed. Anyone have any suggestions?

Wish I never bought this dishwasher. I had it fixed when it was less than a year old, replaced a plastic wheel that used to be made of metal. It made a loud screeching noise. Makes noises off and on that are LOUD. You never know when this will happen. Soap door doesnt always open. Top rack started rusting out in the second year. Was told too bad so sad, not covered, ever. When I called for service, cant remember which problem it was, there are more, was told they wouldnt come out because they were having a problem getting paid from LG. Great! Call back in a month or so, well see if they are paying their repair bills! Ok! Called LG for another extended warranty, they said no. Its up to them, and because Id already called, I guess they knew they would have to pay out on it, so they wouldnt extend it. Now I also bought the double 30 oven, and I love it!!! NO problems, its been just over two years now.

Not heating or cooling on a 3.5 year old $3,000 refrigerator. I bought the now discontinued LG LFXS29766S refrigerator in August of 2015. It looks like new and has had no problems until last week on a Tuesday when I realized it had stopped cooling and making ice. I called the store I purchased from and was told that I had luckily bought a 60 month extended warranty, but I had to call them to get service. I called and the first time they could get to me was going to be Friday, then the following Tuesday! After speaking with their service person she said that in experience because of the model, a sealed system would have to be ordered and once it arrived they could schedule an appointment. With the caveat that LG can take 3-7 days to even ship the system. So I could most likely be without a refrigerator for 2-3 weeks...WHAT???I really cannot believe that after paying that price for a top of the line fridge that one has to wait 2-3 weeks and in calling local repairmen- NO-one stocks these parts and many do not want to even work on LG. I am hoping that my parts arrive this week and that hopefully it works, reading other reviews for the same problem I am not feeling like I will ever buy an LG product again. My last question to all 5 of the repairmen I called was what they would buy, that lasted the longest, can be fixed and repaired in a timely manner. Their answers were Frigidaire, Whirlpool and Kitchen-Aid. Hopefully this system will last at least another 4-5 years and then I will be buying one of those brands. To top it off I suspect this was a lemon design from the beginning as it has been discontinued. Sigh.

Purchased LG side by side bottom freezer 24 cf refrigerator in Jan 2015, main control board went out within 3 month, fixed under warranty. Fast forward 3 years compressor went out. Had to pay labor. LG service backed up 3 weeks. Currently refrigerator compartment not cooling. Less than 48 degrees. Down since 6/21/20 had not been working right for a while. It was making drilling sound. Replaced a fan 7/1. Sound stopped. Its still not cooling. I have been waiting for more parts since tech came back out on 7:14. This was third visit. No one will talk to me at LG. This is a defective product and I have received no response from LG at all. Should not be down for 5 weeks. I have asked for their help 5 times with calls and three emails. I have had no customer support at all. I am Very frustrated and extremely disappointed in their lack of concern. They manufactured and sold a defective product and have offered no resolution or even acknowledged my complaint I have had a horrible experience to this point.

We purchased our LG washer dryer pair at Home Depot around 5 years ago, and they has been working fine. Today we noticed the glass lid on the washing machine had spontaneously shattered like a car windshield might. It was still intact but had fractured into hundreds of 1/4 to 1/2 pieces. I contacted LG and was told that this was very rare and was directed to several authorized LG service vendors. A simple Google search shows that many people have had this exact experience with this very same LG washer model. It seems to obviously be a design defect, as it was not being used or touched when the glass shattered. If the glass had disintegrated into the tub I suspect the washing machine would have to replaced. As it is a replacement lid from Sears PartsDirect will be here in two days. In the meantime the lid was very simple to remove. What an odd part failure... LG should take responsibility for this problem for this model washer, which many people have experienced. I was lucky that more damage was not done.

Bought a microwave in Canada in November to bring south for the winter as we are Canadian snowbirds. Arrived in Yuma, Az and about 2 weeks after arrival the microwave quit working. There is a manufacturing date of July 2015 stamped right on the microwave but all my paperwork for purchase is in Canada. I phoned LG and without the paperwork they will do nothing. I tried desperately to get some paper work from Canada but was unable to get. I therefore have to go buy another microwave to get me through the winter. I can get the micro repaired when I get back to Canada in April and produce the paperwork but then Ill have 2 microwaves which doesnt make much sense. I asked the LG person that I phoned how they could not just repair it when the manufacture date is stamped right on it. NO EXCEPTIONS he said. This to me is absolutely ridiculous. I will never buy another LG product as long as I live.

After the repairman came yesterday (Tuesday), we have to wait ANOTHER week for pump that was broken. I have been to the laundromat this morning to the tune of $20 to wash and dry clothes, not to mention the time wasted sitting there. We purchased a complete new set of appliances (including this LG electric range) in September 2011 at Best Buy. During the late summer/early fall of 2013 we began to experience difficulty turning the stove top burners off. This progressively got worse and shortly thereafter we started to wake up in the morning to a glowing red burner on high; so it also turns “on” by itself. Since then (approx. 6 months ago) I regulate our LG electric range by turning off the “range” breaker in our house circuit panel. This is really inconvenient. I quickly looked online to see if others experienced this problem and soon became aware of recall #13-031 initiated on November 8th, 2012. I then called LG and explained the issues; they transferred me to the recall department who initially said “sorry, your range is outside of our recall parameters; it’s too new”. I explained that I have the identical make, model, symptom, and purchase location as what recall #13-031 states. They didn’t care. I then informed LG that I also have three young daughters and I am afraid I will forget to turn the household circuit breaker off and one of them may get burned or our house could burn down one night. Again this didnt matter.During this same call the lady I was speaking with asked if we still owned our LG top load washer. I said “yes, we love it”. She said that unit has a recall and they would send an authorized tech out to repair it. This occurred in the late October/early November time frame and the washer was never the same, ruined. They tried several more times then finally agreed to replace it. We went without a washer for two months and commuted to and from the laundry mat almost daily while we waited. They finally exchanged it with a new model which runs great. During this wait I kept on calling LG customer service not only asking where our replacement washer was, but also updating them on our LG electric range. One day in December I finally was able to talk to a sympathetic recall rep who said “your range is included in the recall; it’s deep in our notes”. He said he would arrange the recall repair, finally! A few days later the local LG authorized repair center called and said they could not find our unit listed or a recall number which they needed to obtain the parts. I called LG again, spoke to a lady, and she could not validate my previous call. Regardless she heard me out and said “we will take care of this under good will”. The LG authorized service center came out in early December to inspect it, verified the problem and ordered the parts. They returned on December 17th, 2013 and installed the new parts and as soon as we activated the breaker the burners lit up red on high; once again the recall made our appliance worse. I stood right next to the tech when he called the LG tech line on speakerphone. They informed him not to touch it anymore; he has done all he can do. They will review it for replacement. Again, this occurred on 12-17-2013. I was emailed a link and submitted my proof or purchase. Then a few weeks later on 1-10-2014 I was contacted by an RA coordinator, “**”. She said LG would issue a refund but first needed to pick up our range, truck it to Minneapolis, package it, right it to Illinois, inspect it and then issue payment. She said this process would take “2 to 3 weeks” which after our recent washer experience I really have to question. I asked what we should do for 2-3 weeks without a range? She said we could front the costs of a new range and if we don’t have the money then perhaps we could explore financing it at zero percent interest then pay it off when the check arrives… I then asked what if LG repairs our range and ships it back or rejects the claim? Dead silence… I politely said this would not work for us. We have a very dangerous LG range and we want it repaired or replaced just as LG did with our washer a few months ago. We cannot afford to be without a range for 2-3 weeks nor can we afford to purchase another new range and wait for unknown results. LG denied this request three times (last conversation on 3-18-14) stating because our LG electric range is not part of the recall. So here we sit waiting, not sure this above experience is aligned with the LG Mission Statement.

I bought a LG refrigerator (model no. LFXS30766S) on December 2015. After two years of service the compressor went bad. I was able to get LG to replace the compressor, since it was still under its 10 year warranty although the repair cost me about $250 on labor cost. Now on February 2020 the second compressor when also bad. It is my conclusion that LGs linear inverter compressors are complete garbage and LG shall issue a recall and replace them or issue refunds to all customers with this problem.

I have an LG refrigerator with model # LRSC26923SW that is about 5 years old. The so-called purified water line dispenses water that tastes strongly of mold. It is undrinkable and it assumed a health hazard. The filters have been changed on a regular basis and the water line has been used daily until the taste problem occurred.I have tried changing filters and flushing the line but to no avail. LG referred me to an authorized repair service, and I was told that it was a poorly designed system, and I would need to replace the entire door at a huge expense that is not covered by the warranty. In addition to the ice maker going out after 1 year and having to be replaced, I also had major problems with my LG washing machine. I will never buy one of their appliances again.

My LG side by side refrigerator freezer stopped working 8/5/21. Was purchased in 2015. Called customer service and was provided authorized servicemen, (3). Called and neither were able to assist. One was out of business. Upon speaking again, customer service explained authorization process (1-3) weeks. Not acceptable I told her. I had a tech to come out and it was the linear compressor. Talked with customer service again 8/6/21. Informed her all my food was about spoil. Working between neighbors and coolers to salvage some. I explained process needed to speed up and I had already researched the LG lawsuit its linear compressors. She finally gave me an extended warranty and referred me to A&E Factory Svcs. Upon researching this company it has a 1 star rating (not good). I plan to reach out to BBB and Attorney General. The part is $400, and labor is $600. She assured me with the extended warranty all would be covered. We will wait to see this. Look to hear from me soon. Jacqueline

I like the ice machine, water machine, double doors, Auto cooling, auto temperature, but it wasnt that special. It could have been better to me. The temperature never worked. It would get hot randomly. It would leave water. It would get really cold one day then hot the next. It was cheap and lasted only a few years. It would last longer the warranty was bettering dont like it. I wasnt a fan after the first year and it didnt have a for what Im paying for it. I could get a better fridge. It wasnt the best and I should have put out more money to get a better one. It was pretty low and to me it could have been higher and it could have been up to standards and to me it was not and some reason it didnt last more than 45 years and to me thats pretty low for your fridge raider. But it has a great warranty for the last at least 10-15 years. I didnt think it would crash so soon but it did. I should have put more time and effort let alone money into the fridge that I was purchasing.

In 2012, we upgraded our kitchen appliances to LG products. It has been an absolute nightmare! Every appliance has failed in some manner. The oven stopped working multiple times on our range. I couldnt believe that when I called customer service, we were told to turn off the circuit breaker for 5 seconds and then turn it back on. The code was F1. We noticed a hairline crack in the interior wall of the refrigerator near one of the shelves. The microwave door keeps lowering on us. And last week, the dishwasher just stopped working without warning. Rather than continue repairing things, we have decided to replace all of the appliances with another brand. Never will I ever recommend LG appliance products to anyone after our experience. And never will I purchase them. Love the electronics. But their appliance product is amongst the worst!

Our french door refrigerator stopped working after 2 years and will need a new compressor. It sounds like LG started using a higher efficiency compressor a few years back that hasnt held up well. The replacement part is on order and we will be without a fridge for at least 1 week or longer. In the past, we have purchased much less expensive brands and never had this type of problem. Although the compressor is still under warranty, we are being told that we will be responsible for the hourly service charges. My advice is to avoid LG refrigerators - we will in the future. I have to believe that there are more dependable models, particularly at this price.

I bought the refrigerator July 2016 plus a 5 year warranty. The first year the water flow from the in-door water was very slow. I had to call for service and they fixed it. Now July of 2019 (3 years) the whole refrigerator stopped working. Customer service is a joke. Ive called customer service three times, speaking to three different reps. The first one walked me through a reset and literally said that she guaranteed me that would fix it. She said check in eight hours. I did and it was not working. This was Friday and they are closed for the weekend. I spoke to another rep the first of the next week and he said that it would take until the following Monday for a tech to look at it to diagnose. That will be the ninth day without a refrigerator and freezer. He told me to prepare to be without a refrigerator for another two weeks after the tech makes the diagnosis and orders the parts. That will make 23 days from the time I reported. I spoke to a third rep to find out how to get reimbursed for the loss of $1500 in food. She said she could only authorize a $100 reimbursement. I recently looked at the current reviews and realized everyone is experiencing this same problem. I will never buy an LG product again.

My husband came home tonight to the alarming smell of gas as I was in our family room with a mild headache, I wasn’t sure what had triggered it. He immediately started opening up all the windows. To my horror, the gas knob on our LG gas range (model LSG4513ST.BSTELGA) was in on position with no blue flame visible. Had he not been home to smell the gas leak, I could have easily DIED! Yes DIED!!! It is not the first time this gas range has been in the”on” mode unintentionally. It’s been two hours now that the windows have been open in this hot AZ summer, as we continue to air out the house. Unacceptable LG!!!! I now come to realize after reading the numerous disturbing reviews, this is an ongoing defect in their product. I’m not taking any chances with my family’s safety. We will be shopping for a new safer range ASAP. Please do not buy this range new or used. Like others have said, this needs to be discontinued before someone is in danger of losing their lives. Not an exaggeration.

Purchasing the matching LG washer and dryer was my first LG appliance purch
Purchasing the matching LG washer and dryer was my first LG appliance purchase - and it will be my last. I have usually purchased appliances by Kenmore or Maytag and would have the appliances for years before they had to be serviced. However, that has not been the case with the LG 7.4 cu. ft. Gas Dryer with Steam in White, Model # DLGX3571W. I purchased the dryer on June 27, 2015 and it was delivered July 2, 2015. About a couple of weeks ago, I noticed that the clothes were not drying after a full cycle. The first time, I increased the drying time and made it more dry, still the clothes did not dry. Finally, after the third cycle the clothes were dry. Since that time, it has taken several drying cycles to dry one load of clothes. I cant imagine how this will affect my gas bill. Because the dryer is only about 6 months, I requested a new dryer. I figure that if I started repairing a dryer that is only 6 months old, Ill be repairing it forever. But I was told by a very condescending executive manager, Cortel, that I would not get a new machine because that is not how it works. I tried to rationalize with him and told him that I was willing to have a service tech check the machine, but if there was a problem I didnt want it fixed, I wanted it replaced with a new machine. That was like talking to a wall. So my next step is to file a complaint with the President of the company. I would caution consumers against purchasing Model #DLGX3571W in particular and in dealing with LG in general because of their unwillingness to be fair to their customers.

I felt really good about LG Refrigerators until mine had an issue. It really was not an issue at all, but the company that they sent to check it out made it into a big issue. I had called and said, My freezer was frosted over. Did I just not got it shut good or is there something wrong? There was also a shelf that had a crack. They would need to come out and fix that. And they said theyd take a look at it when they come out. So, the guy came out and fixed the other things, and then he said there were two fans for the freezer and one of them was only working part of the time. He also said he was gonna have to order another fan. And he scheduled to be back out the following Sunday to replace that. The following Sunday came around, and he didnt show up. I was here all day. I was calling them and they said he was gonna be here, but he never showed up. So, we set it again for the following Sunday. Again, the second Sunday in a row, my only day-off of the week, and I was sitting at the house at the couch, and again, he did not show up. And then, that got me. At one point, during the day, they lied and said they just talked to him and that he was gonna be calling me. I didnt get a call. And when I called them back, they said they were still trying to get a hold of him. So, then, I was trying to get LG to send somebody else, but they go right back to the same outfit. The third Sunday in a row, a different guy showed up and he took one look and said there is only one fan on this refrigerator freezer, and its working fine. He said, “You probably didnt have the door shut good, the reason it frosted over. So, I was really angry. And then, during this whole time, LG was sending me things, trying to get me to take another extended warranty on this. And Im like, Youre not even taking care of me on your original warranty. Im not about to spend more money for an additional warranty when I got treated so crappy in the first place.” Another thing is the first time, when the guy did come and he said that was what it needed, it was not long after that that also, it quit making ice. And I told him that when I was waiting for all those times for somebody to come back out, and its not making ice now. When the other guy did come out, he looked. The first guy had turned the ice maker off and never turned it back on.I like the refrigerator. I like that for the size because that size is the only size in my condo that I can get a refrigerator. And its working fine now, but at the same time, Ive been so upset about how I got treated, and I should have never been treated that way. I wish LG would do something to make up for it like give me another year of extended warranty and dont charge me for it. I didnt get my moneys worth.

The experience with this washer in particular but also the dryer is among the worst We have made. Now that my four children have moved out I figured I would be doing less washing and drying. I’ve owned this product for two years. I’ve already spent close to $200 having somebody replace a drum. The washer in particular does not drain properly and I have to physically open the tube and sit there with a bowl draining water sometimes 5 to 7 times or the clothes will be soaked smelly and filled with filthy water along with the bottom of the washer. Sometimes water leaks out of the bottom. I couldn’t even begin to go through the litany of the defects. Glad I’m selling my house soon and will be sure to leave this here. Never will I buy another product from this company again. I can’t remember the last time I had to submit a review so negative.

Last time, after going through 2 supervisors, LG agreed to send us a $200 check for food and said to give the repair person one more chance to fix the problem and if it did not work LG would consider doing something more. Noticed rust around dispenser drawer and filter door. There has been no misuse or spillage, this seems to be happening due to over sloshing as dispenser is emptying during wash cycle. Also we saw on other reviews where this is happening to other washer brands as well and I would agree with one service man’s opinion that cutting corners on paint seems to be the problem as the paint is extremely thin on this machine. This is clearly obvious as the area where the problem occurred had to be sanded in order to stop the rust from running down the face of the machine and spreading rust all over my floor. I paid a huge amount of money for this machine and the matching dryer and pedestals when we remodeled our home, I wanted high-end look for the resale of our home. We have sold our home and personally I will not buy a new set for the home we are building even though I loved the performance of the machines, too bad they ruined their wonderful products by cutting corners on a simple thing like paint. News flash LG, a cheapskate in your company is going to ruin your product’s name! I was hesitant on purchasing another LG Range because 6 years ago I filed a lawsuit against them for advertising their specific electric range as a true convection with sabbath mode when in fact it was not. We won the lawsuit due to LG falsely advertising their product. This leads up to yesterday when I decided to give them a try again. Figuring they learned their lesson, I purchased their LRE3194BS. They (LG) claims on their website as well as on every website that sells this range (Best Buy is where I purchased) that it is in fact a True convection (3rd heating element behind the fan). After it was delivered yesterday I opened up the owners manual and it stating it is NOT a true convection. When I called LG customer service to find out exactly what was going on and to ask what the difference was with their True Convection & their new Pro Bake Convection, the representatives could not tell me the difference. They then connected me to the corporate USA office in Alabama where a representative answered the phone. I explained not only my concern but also brought up the lawsuit 6 yrs prior and she stated this unit was NOT true convection. I asked about their webpage and the info they provide to retailers and she simply stated she has no idea who is responsible for putting correct and valid info online. I said this is just like years ago and youre falsely advertising your ranges again. She then Hung Up on me. Hopefully another attorney will pick up a new case against them.

I was told that the part had never been ordered and would be ordered. I never received a call regarding the part so I called again. I was told that the part was discontinued and could no longer be ordered. The person at the call center could not help me. I filed a complaint with the BBB. I was asked for proof of my purchase. I sent my Lowes credit card statement showing the purchase date, what was purchased, what store it was purchased from, and the price. The statement had all of the information that was requested from LG.LG came back and asked for the actual receipt. The original receipt was taken by the service technician so that he would have the information to order the part. I cannot get a copy since the Lowes store that I purchased the refrigerator from has since closed. Furthermore, LG has all of my information. When I made the initial service call, they looked up my account with my phone number and told me that they had all of my information. As of today, the BBB has closed my complaint as LG is refusing to repair or replace my refrigerator with the receipt that their technician has. Just infuriates me to be out $2,300.00! Buyer beware! I wish I had read all the reports about the LG refrigerator, particularly the French door model with icemaker housed in the refrigerator door. We purchased this supposedly state of the art refrigerator in March, but recently attached the water supply hose for the water/ice dispenser. The water dispenser worked fine, but the icemaker did not. A call went out to the service department and a technician came to fix the problem yesterday. Well, he replaced the motherboard and a fan at the back of the freezer. A brand new refrigerator needs to have these items replaced already??? Long story short, this morning, we woke up to a mess in the refrigerator/freezer because everything had melted. Neither the refrigerator nor freezer is working. Of course, service is closed on the weekends. So now, I have a $3000 storage box sitting in my kitchen with a houseful of guests arriving in a few days. My concern is after reading about all these problems reported on this website, we will be faced with continuous problems in the future (especially after the product goes off warranty!!!). LG... Life Good?? In my opinion, I think not if you own one of their refrigerators. Sorry to say. I am hopeful that this problem will be resolved, but after reading post after post about these same issues, I am not holding my breath. :(

The labor charge was $706.34 including trip charge, labor, Freon, and small parts. After the unit was repaired and returned several days later the display on the front panel had error messages. The water dispenser and ice maker stopped working. A new problem and another repair cost of $338.60. For a $3,000.00 refrig to last only 5 years is unacceptable and repair cost to date of $1,044.94. The repair cost is more that 1/3 of the purchase price. We will never purchase any other LG products nor recommend them to anyone. Buyer beware.

Dishwasher broke a few weeks after warranty ended. Only LG certified appliance repairman are to fix it. I lost 2 days work for a no show, no phone call repairman. Complained to LG, told 4-6 weeks and I will get a refund. It has been over 20 weeks and I am still told it will be 4-6 weeks. Spoke to manager who told me she would call me back before the end of the day yesterday - did not get a phone call back. LG is unreliable and undependable.

Washing Machine Model WT1101CW - There are several issues, the top being that the washer does a poor job of cleaning clothes. Ive had to soak white shirts in bleach to get out normal dirt. Ive had to wash clothes twice and three times to get them to even smell clean. I had a 20 year old Maytag prior to the LG and Im ready to get rid of this one after only having it 3 months. A second issue is that it leaves a full tray of water in the dispenser after the cycle is completed. I have to dump out the water every time. I called for service and they will not come out for that issue - stating that they only respond to technical issues and thats not technical. What??? Ive followed all of their instructions - and even called them 2 weeks after having the machine. No response from LG.

After buying LG refrigerator within 7 months the upper freezing compartment stopped working. After the complaint technician came made it work. But again after 9 months faced same issue. Then again technician did resolved it. At the second visit I asked the technician to make sure this should not happen again if it does give me a replacement. But again after 11 months it again freezing was not happening. So again I raised a complain but as the 1 warranty was going to they stopped responding. After 12 months when 1 year free service expired the call center executive without listening to the issue just telling that I will be charged and when I started explained previous complain they started hanging up phone on me. LG service really ridiculous. They dont treat customers well. If this is a case I would say Please dont buy their product.

I wrote a review earlier about how the burner on the stove turns on if you brush up against the knobs. It does this without you even being aware and the next thing you know the ** house is burning down. This happened 3 different times and luckily I was still in the house when this happened. One time I was getting ready for work and had my dinner packed in a nylon bag and just before I left for work I heard something sizzling in the kitchen and the whole ** bag was on fire. Not happy about this ** at all. Anyway I left one of these reviews earlier asking for advice on what I could do about the situation since LG does not give a ** about these problems according to other reviews. But since my last review a couple of hours ago I went to church and then came home to cook dinner and I realized the only solution to my problem with this hazardous ** stove that cost about $1,700 if you pay full price is to remove the knobs and keep them off at all times and only use them while you are cooking. I now keep them in a bowl on top of the stove and my mind will be at ease especially when I’m not at home. In one review the ** dog turned the stove on while the people were away. LG gives not one ** about this problem. I hope this helps someone else who is at wits end. Good luck.

I bought an LG refrigerator in 2013 and the warranty for the compressor was 10 years. In 2017 it stopped working and we spent over $700 and 5 months trying to repair it. After 4 months of the repairs it stopped working again and LG wanted to charge again for repairs and never offered to replace the unit. The appliance was a piece of junk and LG was not willing to offer a viable solution. It was a waste of money, time and food! I will never buy another LG appliance again. Terrible service!

We bought the refrigerator in Feb 2020. A few months later, the ice maker stopped working. Service guy had to come back 5 times to finally fix it. For some reason, the model we have was built with a special ice maker. Last month, we started hearing a loud humming sound. When you open any door, it will stop then starts after you close the door. We called service and they did a smart diagnosis via phone and said it looks like I have an ice build-up by the fan and I need to defrost the refrigerator for 8 hours. Defrosted it and after a week, we got an FF error code on the ref. We are defrosting again and see what happens. Never had this problem with a refrigerator before. Hope this get fixed right away.

We purchased this LG LMV2031JT microwave along with LG fridge, convection stove, dishwasher around June 2015 as part of a complete kitchen remodel. (sound familiar?) The microwave now wont finish cooking a tv dinner. It will warm something up short duration but after about 3 minutes it just wont heat anymore. Place where we bought it said it might be cheaper to just replace it. :( Wow, bought LG because of supposed quality. LG says to call a service company to repair or buy their additional warranty. I bought it because it should be a quality product, not needing an extended warranty!!! Gal I talked to was nice but foreign. Now I will probably have 3 LG products and an off brand microwave as I will not ever buy another LG product. What a joke.

I purchased an LG refrigerator less than 2 years ago. Last week the compressor went out. I called LG and raised Cain and they agreed to cover all expenses related to the repair. Today the technician comes out and says I owe 79.95 for the diagnostic visits. I called LG and their customer service rep says yes they will cover the service call. Then the tech says no they wont. So when I speak with the supervisor of customer service he says no they wont cover it. So in spite of the fact that I was told they would cover everything, they will not cover the service call. There is no way I should be out any money on a fridge less than 2 years old. My grandmother had a fridge for 45 years. Today they make pieces of crap and create a revenue stream that end in purchasing another piece of crap. My next fridge will be a Sub Zero. I dont care how much it costs up front. At least you dont have to pump money into them constantly. I had one before this and it lasted 26 years with only one call for the ice maker. LG sucks.

Our LG front load washing machine has a cycle that intermittently opens and closes the water valve that causes severe water hammer in the plumbing system. This is very bad for your plumbing and will cause damage. Ive installed a water hammer arrestor, but wasnt any better. Very bad vibrations and unacceptable noise during wash/rinse cycles - unit actually moves across the floor! And needs continuous cleaning of soap and softener dispensers - clothes smell badly if you dont. Dryer does not perform well either - takes 2 hours to dry a load! I would never recommend LG to anyone - spent over $1,800 for the washer/dryer pair with pedestals, and have replaced them in less than 3 years with conventional pair!!!

In 2013 I purchased a set of LG large capacity washer and dryer. I was excited when I got my new machines. At first I was amazed, as it did not seem my clothes had been washed so clean and dried so efficiently in years, compared to my old washer and dryer. After a few months, it seemed the washer would stop itself more and more often, with a UE flashing on the screen and required opening the machine and rearrange heavy wet clothing until it would spin through. About that time I received a notice of a recall that affected my machine. I called the recall hotline number and a technician was sent to replace the faulty parts. This solved the problem with balance and wash cycle, but left the washer with few choices for temperature. You have the choice of warm/warm, regardless of the setting other than tap cold. Cold/cold runs warm/warm. At least the machine was operating and cleaning the clothes. I was told it may happen again and that, if it did, to keep the number for the recall hotline. I have always made a special point of taking large blankets or anything other than regular clothing or bedding/towels, to a public laundry.Recently, once again, the machine has been throwing the clothing to the side and refusing to complete the load without the struggle of reaching in and rearranging the load, reading unbalanced several times before the load would finish. The last load I did was two regular bed sheets and a few wash clothes and it stopped twice before completed the cycle.I called the recall hotline from my paperwork and a tech was sent to our home, today. I was at work, so my husband greeted the repair technician. After trying the machine on its cycle, running on empty, he called me at work to tell me it tested normal. I assured him it was far from normal. The technician proceeded to tell me it is very important with this delicate machine, to only wash light loads of the same clothing, such as sheets only, towels only, light cotton with like size and fabric and jeans or heavier clothing, with only a few at a time and no other clothing. He stated he wanted to run a load of laundry to test the machine. My husband started putting clothes into the washer when the technician stopped him and told him to select only a few items of like size and fabric. The technician ran the load and called to inform me the machine had no problems and he was closing the ticket on the repair. I told the repairman to go home and ask his wife if she would be satisfied to do her laundry under the specifications he was informing me, this delicate machine (large capacity, supposed high power) requires. All of this to say, LG does not stand behind their product, the parts are sub quality and the massive recall on this machine only served to put a band-aid on a major problem. The machines should have been replaced and the customer should have been satisfied, instead of spending $850 on a machine that has lasted a total of 3 years. Do not buy LG, unless you have money to burn.

Bought this $2600 fridge (LG LMXS30776S) in 2015. A week ago, noticed frozen fruit was soft enough to crunch. Took temperature of fridge and freezer compartments. Fridge: 49 deg F, Freezer 33 deg F. Compressor running non-stop. Pulled covers on evaps, partial frosting. No error codes. Got a replacement fridge off Craigslist that weekend. Plugged LG fridge back in, compressor comes on, but there is no cooling now. Indicates leak in sealed system. No error codes anywhere. Called local appliance shop -- $700 and it could take a month. Complained to LG on Facebook, they responded that they have a tech that could fix it total/flat rate of $375. Unbelievable. Pretty sure what happens with the compressor failure is that the refrigerant leaks out and the compressor keeps running harder and longer until it burns out. Will not heat nor will turntable turn. Called LG and went thru diagnostics, which I had already performed. I asked them about write ups online about this model number that indicated a design flaw that causes this issue. They declined to answer. If I were in Australia we would have had a two year warranty, but not in the US. They provided a list of places I could call for service but none of them provided it in our area. And lastly on our chat they did say it was a good thing I kept our 20 year old back up that still works great (not an LG). They dont even offer any type of trade in for something that is 18 months old to try to entice us to purchase another LG replacement. So I am sorry that I had to provide even one star as a rating. HH Gregg will not offer any incentive but they did hook us up with a repair center that will cost us $99 to come out as a minimum.

Worse than even this is the ridiculous treatment I have had with LG in trying to get it fixed under warranty. I called LG again and they said find someone to fix it and once they diagnose the problem LG will send the parts. OK, done! But wait... Called LG and they said they would expedite the order and sent the repair shop the parts. Called again when there was no info sent to the shop, Oh, sorry will send it now... Called the next day, Oh we dont have a full address, called the next day, Oh sorry it takes 6 days to expedite, not sure why no one told you... Called again, Should be able to expedite tomorrow, we will call you. I have stepped up the calling process to 2x per day but suffice it to say my refrigerator went out 4 weeks ago and I dont have it fixed. Will never invest in an LG product of any kind! Bought one of LG’s high-end dishwashers (model LDP6797BD) less than 2 years ago for its quiet running, nice bells and whistles (including WiFi access), and 5 year warranty for electronics. A few days ago the LED display started going on/off, dancing through all the readouts, beeping, and displaying what appeared to be an error code (“L2”) but wasn’t. We called for warranty repairs with a local authorized technician. He calls LG and they tell him its hardware (user interface board), not software (which clearly it was). Minimum repair cost, $285 (included the $85 service call).I call LG to explain why it’s the software and should be under warranty. LG’s Customer Service agrees it could be electronics and will dispatch their factory technician for $125 plus and a minimum labor charge of $65 (but up to $175) if its covered under warranty. Unlike the local technician’s $85 service fee, LG’s service fee of $125 is not applied towards repairs. I explained that I could buy a new dishwasher (NOT an LG) for what I would spend in repairs and my previous $300 dishwasher lasted 10 years…what’s wrong with their product(s)?

Bought LGs top end fridge in 2011. Had multiple issues with ice maker working, compressor within the first year. The LG technician ruined our wood floor and left dents all over it, which LG has paid for refinishing. Weve put up with not having enough ice from the beginning. BUT, this past weekend the ice maker quit, then the rest of the fridge stopped working. Had to throw out tons of food. This was on a Saturday night, 7/20. We bought an extended warranty. Weve gone through the proper channels and the contracted repair company cannot come to look at the fridge until 7/30. I have to wait 10 days for service and be without a refrigerator. That is unacceptable! Shame on LG for charging huge fees for crappy products. Shame on Nebraska Furniture Mart for selling extended contracts to sub par repair companies that treat a warranty like a welfare recipient. Shame on Mega Performance, the extended warranty provider and shame on Mr. Appliance in Overland Park, KS. Today is 7/22 and we are trying to figure out a plan and get this resolved, quickly. The washer keeps tripping GFI which indicates a current leakage problem, that is, a DESIGN PROBLEM. Local techs and LG keep writing this up as an electrical breaker tripping which is a problem of shorting out, or over-amping, not current leakage. GFI breakers are required by electrical code in areas where water is present. The local techs and LG want to solve this problem by removing the GFI, thus violating electrical code in order to make their product work. Current leakage design problems dont improve, they get worse over time, further endangering customer safety.

I tried to make sure doors were sealing fine, they were. I called LG. They said it might of done an auto defrost. I was told to unplug it and it would reset it that temp would return to normal in 12 hours. We woke up the next day to a flooded floor. All food in freezer was defrosted. Refrigerator was at 65*. I did the smart diagnosis again. It said it was fine. Called LG and sent them the diagnosis and they said to unplug and wait 6 hours. I lost all food and temp Kept dropping. I was told to put food in coolers. Most was trashed. I was told they could send a repair person in 2 weeks!!! I did the best I could with food in coolers but lost it all. LG was not helpful.A repair person came out earlier than quoted and it seemed to be working (known compressor failure) yet now temp is plummeting again. At this point I just want a full refund to buy a new non LG fridge. I’m hoping temp increases, yet I just emptied ice so hopefully if it fails it won’t ruin my new floor. I just bought food to replace the food lost. I have no other fridge at my home. 4 days and it’s not working again. Reading all these reviews makes me sad that this brand is allowed to sell these products and hold hard working families like mine hostage.

My LG LRE30755ST was taking forever to reach 350 and even then, when the digital panel reads 350, the actual temp inside was only 300. We accessed LGs website to maybe view an exploded diagram or to order parts, just something useful, but they only offered the lousy owners manual (which we already have). They said wed have to submit a repair service request and theyd put us in contact with a repair tech, which basically means they dont think we are smart enough to work on their crappy appliances! **! We researched an exploded diagram on AppliancePartsPros.com and ordered the thermometer through them (bless them!). When the location of the thermostat was not obvious, we called LG and simply asked them where the thermostat is located. They said they dont give out that information. I absolutely think LG is making a huge business error by not helping their customers. I dont give a crap when they say its for our safety because thats **! Unplug the stove and dont cut yourself on sharp edges, thats all the safety we need to know! I hate LG! I hate LG! I hate LG!

Major issue: EASY CLEAN is not. There is no self clean feature which seems unbelievable in a $775 range. We like others (we with two new knees) used the easy clean three times exactly how suggested in Manual. Also after 2 phone calls (and later 3 emails) was told to bake at 375 degrees with water (like in easy clean method). Later told to try mixing vinegar and baking soda. NO luck. If I may also mention setting the timer to either bake start/stop or to simply use the timer usually turns oven off. Not sure how to overcome or understand that process. There are a few other suggestions but if only the oven would get clean we could use the oven w uncovered dishes, steaks, etc.

Updated on 09/09/2019: In mid June the compressor on our until went out. Repair technicians came and replaced the compressor. That lasted 2 weeks and they had to come again and they replaced a hose they said had a pin sized leak. 2 weeks later the unit failed and a different company came to check the unit. He cleaned out some things and refilled refrigerant. Well 3 weeks after that it failed again. The technician advised he didn’t know what was wrong. He thought replacing the compressor again along with the coils might help but wasn’t sure what was wrong with it. All he did was refill refrigerant. LG promised us that the 4 call would be the one to determine if our 3.5 year old fridge was repairable. It did not cool and we have thrown out countless hundreds of dollars in food.LG is now telling us to call back tomorrow and they will send out a different technician to see what is wrong with it!! OMG!! LG, your refrigerators don’t work and you know it. Mind you it takes anywhere from 5-7 days for a technician to even come each and every time we have called. We live out of coolers and are completely frustrated with LG! I would never advise anyone to purchase an LG refrigerator.Original Review: Our few year old, expensive refrigerator/freezer stopped cooling in early June. We contacted LG and they sent out a repairman 3 days later who did not have a compressor in hand and had to order it. So over a week after we called our refrigerator was fixed, BUT, for now only 2 weeks then it died again. The repair people came out and said there was a pinhole leak in a hose and they replaced it and put in new refrigerant and so on. Well, it lasted 2 weeks again and a different repair company came and basically said he would clean out the hoses and he refilled the refrigerant. It had lasted 3 weeks this time!My fridge has been at a solid 69 degrees and the freezer at 55. It has taken over a week to get someone here. LG claims they will replace or give a refund for the fridge this time. I have thrown out several upon several hundreds of dollars of food. Lg knows they have a defect in the linear compressor and they just need to replace the refrigerators that have issues. Each time we call it has taken over a week to get it fixed and it seems like it’s only a temporary solution.

After reading all of the reviews that I just read, wishing I had read them BEFORE I purchased this $2,300.00 piece of JUNK! I have had nothing but trouble with my LG french door fridge from day one. Icemaker not working, no cold water dispensing, broken drawers now freezer not working. Loud sound from freezer, thinking it was going to catch on fire. The worst of it all is their customer service SUCKS!!! Purchased at HH Gregg. They suck also!!! We even purchased extended warranty!! I get nothing but the run around, it has taken me 6 weeks to get anything acknowledged. Still not fixed, and just received a letter saying there is a lawsuit against LG for this model. Surprise, Surprise!!! Never Ever will I ever purchase anything LG EVER!!!!

We bought this stove 4 years ago and installed it in a new home build. The first cheap plastic knob broke within the first year. We are now down to ONE working knob. I have attempted to repair and strengthen the original knobs multiple times (something LG should have done in the first place). My question is how can a company manufacture such a great product and then put absolute garbage on the most used part of the stove. My real problem is the ridiculous price for the replacement. Is there a realistic option for this? I do not mind spending the money for QUALITY items, but to overpay for the same, substandard item is not feasible. The real sadness is that I will never buy another LG product again because of a $2 knob for a stove that is now costing $30+ and even sadder is the fact LG put such a piece of garbage on their appliances in the first place.

I purchased a dishwasher, which broke down within a year. Luckily, it was still under warranty and I reached out to LG for a repair. Were now entering the 5th week of me waiting for a repair or replacement and there isnt an end in sight. In fact, LG is actually starting the process over. Customer service hasnt been helpful, their Executive Office has sent me in circles, and I feel like its probably going to be quicker to purchase a new dishwasher - definitely not an LG. I really dont have anything nice to say about LGs appliance division or the people Ive interacted with throughout this ordeal.
