I purchased an LG refrigerator. Everything in it freezes. The ice maker broke and immediately when I called the company I purchased it from they explained to me that they would call me back. Of course I never got a callback. This is the worst refrigerator Ive ever bought. Do not ever purchase it is junk. I have emailed and called LG and I never seem to get any sort of response from them. My refrigerator is a year-and-a-half old and I want to throw it Out My Backdoor.

Purchased LG gas range. Cooking for 30-40 minutes using oven at any temperature will cause oven to shut off and PF will flash and fan icon will flash. If you open the oven door the light will flash on and off. Control buttons dont work until the oven cools down. LG phone tech said I had a power failure. I did not. LG repair guy that came to my house claims it is the power board allowing too much something or other to come through which is causing it to shut down. Hoping he is right and unhappy that I have to pay a repair bill for something in a new appliance.

We bought a side by side with freezer on bottom and chilled water and ice dispenser on door. It cost $2,500 new. Today, less than 3 years old, it has stopped cooling, freezing and making ice cubes! In my opinion, this is not good reliability. I do not believe that I would purchase LG again. Also, I have an extended 5 year service contract with them. So I called them for service repair on Friday, and they said they could be at my house in 4 days (on Tuesday). This also made me negative about LG, they should have service much more quickly than this!!! My opinion, consider other options before buying LG. Jack

I bought this washing machine about 4 years ago but did not get the extended warranty. It was wonderful until last week when it flashed UE to indicate an uneven load, but would not unlock the lid so we could rearrange the clothes. I unplugged it to try to reset it and when I plugged it in again it was completely dead and the clothes were still locked inside with a lot of water. The repairman from Sears (where we bought it) said it needed a new control board and the cost of the repair would be $661. We can buy a new machine for not much more so we declined. Going shopping for a new washer. At least he got our clothes out but they smelled like a sewer after they had sat for a week while we waiting for a service appointment.

Two years ago, my wife and I purchased an LG 7957295 French Door refrigerator. Its now 2020 and the compressor is shot. Sears wants $1000 to repair it or will give me a %50 discount if I pay $50 ($600 per year) for an appliance (all) warranty. I could have purchased a $3000 refrigerator for that amount of money. I checked and sure enough the LGs are having problems with their linear compressors I am told. The reviews say it and the repairmen are saying it. Yet, LG continues to sell them. Last, we have had numerous problems with this refrigerator from the start, loud auger sound in back, dents if you look at it, fingerprint resistant is anything but. I am heading out to buy a new refrigerator since I dont want any more problems with this item.

I like the freezer. It has a lot of space to store different things in it. I can fit a ton of ice cream in it. I also like the shelving in it. It has tons of space to store whatever I need. But I dislike the design. I feel like there should be more controls. It should be more futuristic like have a smart display like some other refrigerator. But this refrigerator does an excellent job of keeping all our groceries cool. It was a nice refrigerator and it fits our budget at the time. I still would have like to go with a more premium model. But for now this is one of the best refrigerator. If I could change something about this refrigerator it would be to have an even bigger freezer than what we have now, right now its fine but it always good to have more space or if the ice machine could produce ice faster.

I have had my LG Gas Range LDG4315ST for 3 months. The top oven undercooks and the bottom oven burns everything. The knobs on the front of the range can turn on just by walking past and bumping them. I have walked into my kitchen numerous time and smelled gas and found the knob turned just enough to let the gas escape. I have turned the burner on just buy reaching up to the cupboard over the range. This is an extremely dangerous appliance! If you have young children beware!! I have contacted LG 4 times and I am still waiting for them to set up a technician to come to my house. Would never, never buy another LG appliance. This range needs recalled. Do not buy it!

Purchased stove, dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator on May 07 2017. On 8/16/2020 our refrigerator stop working. Check the owner manual to see if there something we can but nothing, call LG customer service and was told that they need 48 hour for the repair to be approved, call this morning and was told that they have available 08/25/2020. This is unacceptable due to the fact that is almost brand new, we lost most of the food and by the way our dishwasher is not working either. Call two months ago and we was told that we need to pay for the repair, when I was told the the motor has ten years warranty and the error code that is giving is the motor.

We purchased a complete new set of appliances (including this LG electric range) in September 2011 at Best Buy. During the late summer/early fall of 2013 we began to experience difficulty turning the stove top burners off. This progressively got worse and shortly thereafter we started to wake up in the morning to a glowing red burner on high; so it also turns “on” by itself. Since then (approx. 6 months ago) I regulate our LG electric range by turning off the “range” breaker in our house circuit panel. This is really inconvenient. I quickly looked online to see if others experienced this problem and soon became aware of recall #13-031 initiated on November 8th, 2012. I then called LG and explained the issues; they transferred me to the recall department who initially said “sorry, your range is outside of our recall parameters; it’s too new”. I explained that I have the identical make, model, symptom, and purchase location as what recall #13-031 states. They didn’t care. I then informed LG that I also have three young daughters and I am afraid I will forget to turn the household circuit breaker off and one of them may get burned or our house could burn down one night. Again this didnt matter.During this same call the lady I was speaking with asked if we still owned our LG top load washer. I said “yes, we love it”. She said that unit has a recall and they would send an authorized tech out to repair it. This occurred in the late October/early November time frame and the washer was never the same, ruined. They tried several more times then finally agreed to replace it. We went without a washer for two months and commuted to and from the laundry mat almost daily while we waited. They finally exchanged it with a new model which runs great. During this wait I kept on calling LG customer service not only asking where our replacement washer was, but also updating them on our LG electric range. One day in December I finally was able to talk to a sympathetic recall rep who said “your range is included in the recall; it’s deep in our notes”. He said he would arrange the recall repair, finally! A few days later the local LG authorized repair center called and said they could not find our unit listed or a recall number which they needed to obtain the parts. I called LG again, spoke to a lady, and she could not validate my previous call. Regardless she heard me out and said “we will take care of this under good will”. The LG authorized service center came out in early December to inspect it, verified the problem and ordered the parts. They returned on December 17th, 2013 and installed the new parts and as soon as we activated the breaker the burners lit up red on high; once again the recall made our appliance worse. I stood right next to the tech when he called the LG tech line on speakerphone. They informed him not to touch it anymore; he has done all he can do. They will review it for replacement. Again, this occurred on 12-17-2013. I was emailed a link and submitted my proof or purchase. Then a few weeks later on 1-10-2014 I was contacted by an RA coordinator, “**”. She said LG would issue a refund but first needed to pick up our range, truck it to Minneapolis, package it, right it to Illinois, inspect it and then issue payment. She said this process would take “2 to 3 weeks” which after our recent washer experience I really have to question. I asked what we should do for 2-3 weeks without a range? She said we could front the costs of a new range and if we don’t have the money then perhaps we could explore financing it at zero percent interest then pay it off when the check arrives… I then asked what if LG repairs our range and ships it back or rejects the claim? Dead silence… I politely said this would not work for us. We have a very dangerous LG range and we want it repaired or replaced just as LG did with our washer a few months ago. We cannot afford to be without a range for 2-3 weeks nor can we afford to purchase another new range and wait for unknown results. LG denied this request three times (last conversation on 3-18-14) stating because our LG electric range is not part of the recall. So here we sit waiting, not sure this above experience is aligned with the LG Mission Statement.

LG High Efficiency Front load Dryer - I read through the complaints and have the same problem as many others. The only difference is my issue didnt happen right away. Ive had it a few years and recently it started making loud noises. I do OK with simple home repair so I opened the unit and found that the barrel was warped from a huge crack in the back seam that I couldnt see from the inside. Also over the agitators inside machine will start to develop a gap inside the barrel causing cloths to get stuck and twisted up ruining them. They also will trap change and other small items inside the agitators then make that noise as well. Why we cant have the old american made products again? Miss that.

We purchase a LG refrigerator Model LFX28968SM on November 29, 2016 from Home Depot and it had a 1 year warranty. On September 2018 the refrigerator section was not cooling below 60 deg F. I called the two LG Authorized Service Centers and they would not respond. I called another repair center and they ordered the part that arrived after 2 weeks from China and it did not fit. They tried to order a replacement and after six weeks they were unsuccessful. We discarded the LG refrigerator and ordered a brand that was made in the US. It was a terrible experience that cost us $2,000.

I bought an LG refrigerator with two doors side by side and two freezer doors underneath from Best Buy at west farm mall in Farmington, Connecticut three years ago. The new fridge price was $2,100. Last month the fridge stopped working. Do not know what the problem is. Reading all the reviews with the same problem, I was wondering if I should even call the repairman and spend and lose additional money on this lemon of a refrigerator. If anyone is filing a class action law suit, please let me know.

Will never buy another LG product! We have a fridge that we bought a year ago, it has stopped cooling our food. All our frozen food was melted and the food in the fridge was on the way to being warm! We cleared the fridge out and the coils were fine (not frozen). We tried everything. Then realizing it wasnt something we could fix at this point we called LG. LG then proceeded to tell us that someone would contact us in 24-48 hrs about our fridge to schedule a repair... well no call. So we called again, they said someone would fix to in 15 or so days. 15 days without a fridge?! Was told they would call us back in a couple hours so they can look into it. AGAIN, no call back! Imagine that! We are beyond frustrated! Upon researching the company, they are known their fridges having issues!

After fighting a good fight with Sears over my compressor failure after 2 years, on a Kenmore Elite, Sears with much pressure and an inquiry by a local NBC news affiliate replaced our fridge with a LG model last June. I am disappointed and upset to say this LG model has just done the EXACT SAME THING. The compressor has failed and I am so angry. The repairman has said that LG and Kenmore Elite both outsource their parts to Korea and showed us what to be wary of in future when buying a fridge. He also advised us that he spends more time on these models than any other for this same repair. He advised us to just buy a new fridge (suggested Whirlpool) because the cost of repair is not worth it and it will go out again. So LG you have lost a customer and Sears will never get a dollar from me again.

We bought 5 LG appliances in April of 2010 and had them installed in August same year. So far we have had to have the wall oven repaired twice after only 3 years. After the first repair it broke down again within 7 months and we were told the warranty for the new part was only 6 months! Trying to get a second repair took over a month of angry phone calls just to try to get a LG certified repair shop to even book an appointment! When contacting customer service they will not let you speak with any sort of management/supervisory personnel and there is no way to receive an address for a letter of complaint. Our convection microwave also stopped working after less than 3 years and had to be replaced at the same time as the second oven repair. Should have been done with the first oven repair but could not get the part from LG in time and they were going to charge for another service call!Side by side double drawer bottom mount freezer refrigerator hasnt had the water dispenser work for a couple years. Their top of the line dishwasher has been having grinding sounds for over a year and this week is now on a continual run cycle no matter which cycle you request, just does not stop as well as having the loud grinding sound the whole time it runs whether 2 minutes or 20 hours! Just waiting for our induction cooktop to be the last of the appliances to quit, should be coming any time now! It astounds me that consumers can pay top dollar for products and get lower than average results with the products and customer service. Trying to speak to anyone within the customer service center is a lesson in how not to conduct business, and not being able to have a contact address or email or phone number for customer complaint is infuriating.

I have Model ldt5665st. It installed easy, looks great. When it works it does an ok job with everything but drying. I did say WHEN it does work. The button panel will stop working. Usually I have to go down, turn off the breaker over night, turn back on in the morning and it will work. I had the install company come out a few times and power is going to it as required. It seems to do this every few months and as soon as I start making appointments it starts working again. Now here I am having to cook more because of the lock down, dishwasher not working and no service calls are being made. This is the 3rd LG Appliance I have bought in 8 years and all of them so far have needed to be replaced far before what I would expect a normal time frame. If you buy one, and they offer an extended warranty, TAKE IT! You will need it.

Do not waste your money on the washer, and do not bother getting Home Depot
Do not waste your money on the washer, and do not bother getting Home Depot extended warranty. Both are useless. LG doesnt want to know anything after only 1 year. Extended warranty states that it is not a covered service, so why the extended warranty? Just to get more money out of you. Washer has defect - seal gets damaged and they state it is not a mechanical problem, even though water is leaking due to the seal hole. The rep told me the seal just keeps the door closed, but the washer is working fine. The seal gets damaged due to a manufacture defect. They know this and so it is not covered. I searched many reviews and complaints are all the same. Do not bother purchasing LG products. You get no help in correcting their defects!

LGs customer service department is by far the worst company I have ever encountered. They have had repair company come to my house 3 times, not able to fix the problem. Had told me no part order was placed, the repair guy gave me invoice numbers for the parts order. The countless phone call to LG were a joke. Last one they tried tell me the the repair was cancelled, right after the repair company left my house. Tried the dryer and call them to tell them it still was not working. Asking for a supervisor and being disconnected twice, he told me the service provider was a third party. LG was the ones who set up the repair in the first place. I ruined over $400.00 worth of clothing, because LG told me to use time dry. Was not a good idea! I asked for a replacement and LG refused to condemn the dryer. I was put off, lied to, and had been given a run around by LG And had enough. I call Home depot. On the first call told me that they would make good on not only the dryer but the washer being that they were a set. Thank you Home Depot!!!!

Spent approx. 8000.00 on new high-end kitchen appliances 5.5 years ago (all LG) the dishwasher was very quiet but didnt clean as well as our old Maytag but I understand they use less water and so on. We bought the 4 year extended warranty. 2 years in we noticed that stains on our utensils and found that our upper rack had rusted out. We called future shop and they sent us to the repair company. The repairman came out looked at it and ordered a new rack. 4 months he showed up with a rack and while putting it in he broke it. He said he would have to reorder. After 6 months and endless phone calls he told me due to poor service from LG he is no longer fixing LG products. I took my rusted out rack to future shop and told them to exchange it with one out of their units... They would not do it. 2 weeks later I had a new rep with a new rack. Only took almost 1 year for a new rack. 4 years in I noticed water on the floor under my fridge. Found the factory water line on the back of the fridge was split. Called for service. They said 2 weeks before they could look at it. I gave the repairman the part # of the piece I needed. He told me LG makes him go there to physically diagnose the issue... Are you kidding me... The hose is split. I went to the hardware store bought a piece of water line and installed it myself. 6 buck fix. Now my dishwasher pump has packed it in warranty ended 3 months ago. Estimated repair 500 dollars. A new Maytag dishwasher is 700 so going to add to the landfill 1 great looking LG piece of crap.

The washer (model WT1201C) only used sufficient water amount to clean when set to bulky, and even then the no-agitator washer would throw the clothes off balance. This would trigger the washer to refill in an attempt to balance the load, which would then throw the clothes off balance, and this cycle would repeat ALL DAY long. I put clothes on before work at 6am and when I got home at 3 in the afternoon the washer was still continuing to fill and spin, fill and spin. I was so frustrated when LG said it was bc of gov. regulations and that all the washers did this, I finally gave up and bought a Speed Queen which works AMAZINGLY well.

My boyfriend and I ordered a LG fridge online on June 25th for $1804.13. It was to be delivered on June 30th. My boyfriend left work to meet LG at our house. Two men took the fridge off the truck and out of the box and the back was damaged all smashed. My boyfriend told them we did not want that one and they took it back. LG never contacted us to when a new one would be delivered. I called them (on hold too long) and they told me they could not get another one here until July 11th. I couldnt believe it, I asked why so long and LG said that is the next date a truck could get to my location. I thought since it was their mistake maybe they should go a little out of their way for a customer, but no, there was nothing they could or would do. So 12 days without a fridge. We had to use a cooler just for water, milk and half for our coffee, buying ice constantly. We went out to eat a lot, which is really expensive. It was a nightmare! I called LG again and complained to a Manager/Supervisor and had to go through about an hour on the phone explaining the story over and over until I finally could get them to connect me with a supervisor and he was not very helpful but he finally said once the fridge was delivered LG would send me a check for $100.00 for my troubles, but I had to call back once the fridge was delivered. I asked why I had to wait and he stated that is their policy. I think they want you to forget about it once you get your new fridge. Well I didnt. I called back and asked for the same Supervisor, I did write down his name, Jerold. After being on hold again and explaining my story again to 2 different employees, I finally talk to Jerold and he said they will send me a check in the mail. Now it is Sept 6th and no check came in the mail.I called back LG asked to speak to Jerome, they couldnt get me Jerome, said they have a lot of Supervisors located all over and I would have to speak to whoever picked up my call. I was on hold for 20 minutes. A woman answered. I asked if she was a Supervisor, she said yes then she asked me for my phone # and put me back on hold for 5 min. She came back on the phone and said she didnt see my order. I then told her the whole situation and said maybe she should have asked me what the issue was before she put me on hold so quickly. She told me that there was no Jerome that worked there. I said it was the same # that I previously called, twice. Then I told her that the order was under my boyfriends phone # and I have the order # and the model # and sku #. She wasnt really listening, but looked up my boyfriends # and asked for the model # and said she saw no order for us.I couldnt believe it. The new fridge is in our kitchen that they delivered. I yelled at her, I just couldnt get over the way they treat customers. So I went on the computer and had a live chat on their website. The woman on the computer found the order under my boyfriends phone #. Maybe they should find a better way to keep track of orders (maybe by the order #) but she said that she had spoke to the woman, Supervisor, that I just got off the phone with and there is nothing they could do for me. Then said that they do not have a Jerome that works there and they do not give back any type of reimbursement or refund for bad service or unhappy customers. It is not their policy. I guess it not their policy to keep customers happy. It was their fault I went without a fridge for as long as I did. It was their fault I had to spend a lot more than I should have on food for two weeks, after giving them One Thousand Eight Hundred dollars.I think LG Supervisors do it on purpose, tell you to call back once the fridge is delivered, wait for a check in the mail, all tactics to make you give up. Well I didnt give up and it got me nowhere. LG also tried to say it was a Home Depot issue. Well Home Depot connected me to them, and why did a Supervisor from LG, Jerome, say he would send a check in the mail. I called Home Depot and they said they wouldnt do that, they would have reimbursed some of our payment. I have never been this angry but we spent a lot of money and hassle over this, and it is not over $100.00. It is about the way I was treated.

My husband and I bought an LG LSXS22423S side by side refrigerator and after less than 2.5 years, the refrigerator quit cooling. I called the consumer line and they did a phone diagnostic test (which was useless) and came back and said, You have had the doors opened too much today. Of course I have, the unit shut down its cooling and everything was defrosted and water was running out the bottom. I am so disappointed in this and was warned by a salesman that LG would not last. I will have to pay $300.00 to $400.00 to have a repairman come and fix it.

Bought my LG fridge about 6 years ago and started having issues 2 months ago. The compressor went out. Luckily that part is still under warranty. However, 2 compressors later LG still has not managed to get the correct part to the Geek Squad to fix my fridge. First compressor they sent ended up being a television stand. Sorry LG I am not in need of a TV stand. Today the 2nd compressor arrived and it is the wrong one. How hard could it possibly be? How much money are these errors costing LG? I know how much they are costing me and it sucks. So now I have to wait 5 more days before they will come back to my house. I assure you this will be the last LG product I will buy.

Updated on 11/29/2021: LG kitchen appliance buyer please beware. Again, based on my experience, any potential buyer should do research on the dependability of the product and any posted customer experience comments before purchasing any LG kitchen appliance. I made a post 2 months ago on the unreliable refrigerator I purchased and the lack of customer service from LG. Shortly after that post I got action, but it has turned out to be just lip service. I have provided everything LG requested to get a prorated reimbursement for the refrigerator. I have been told on several occasions the reimbursement is approved and the check has been mailed. To this date, 11/29/21, I still have not received the check and I still have an unreliable LG refrigerator. The “promises” of me receiving a reimbursement, which come from as high up of the “liaison of the president”, apparently are meaningless. Bottom line is if you are planning to purchase kitchen appliances please, please consider my situation in order to avoid hours and hours of wasted time and frustration as well as money if you go with LG.Original Review: LG kitchen appliance buyer please beware. Based on my experience, any potential buyer should do research on the dependability of the product and the customer experience comments when something does not work like it should. We purchased the French door refrigerator in November 2019. We started having a problem with the freezer compartment getting too warm in April 2021. This is October 2, 2021 and the problem still exists. The customer service department scheduled repairs. Nine technicians from two different companies have worked on the refrigerator. Many components have been replaced including thermostats, rear cover panel and the mother board that controls everything. The problem revolves around the defrost cycle and the unit not being able to recover from defrosting. The compartment gets too warm, 41 degrees. The refrigerator compartment also gets to 41 degrees. Multiple times everything in the freezer has thawed and turned to liquid. Ice melts in the ice dispenser and runs on the floor. The issue has been escalated 4 times now. Three of those have been to the Defective Returns Department. They rejected the claim first due to “improper submission of the claim by their representative” and a second time because “the person handling the claim no longer works for the company”. I have emailed the President twice without a response even though his webpage says he will respond. My experience has been extremely poor and I still have a defective refrigerator. For $3,100 I expected a unit that would perform and last for a number of years. The company has no doubt spent near that amount of failed repair attempts. I’ve been told that my unit qualifies for either replacement or refund due to the number of repairs and due to the failure of the company to schedule repair within 14 days. This problem is a nightmare and has no resolution within sight. Life’s Not So Good with this kind of customer service and a company that does not stand behind its product. Buyer beware!

Buyer beware! Rust develops in the top housing of LG washers, starting at the bleach dispenser. It does not matter if you use the dispenser or not, rust will eventually develop there, and elsewhere, on the top and lid of the machine. Eventually rust flakes will get in your wash leaving whites dingy. There is no fix for this problem. It is a result of poor craftsmanship. A class action lawsuit was filed and LG won claiming user problem. Odd how the regular use of their product would be a problem that causes rust. Do not take my word for it alone- search “LG washer rust” and read about loads of frustrated consumers with rust problems starting in the bleach dispenser area, in some cases rusting out altogether. Buyer beware!

We purchased a new LG stove from Best Buy. The oven failed to work under warranty. We called LG and they told us that the stove needed to have a dedicated electrical line. We had it done. By the time it was done, the stove was beyond warranty. Three hundred dollars later, the oven failed to work. LG would not deal with it. I called Geek Squad to try to fix it. They could not fix it. A wonderful tech came out. He did not charge me. I still do not have a working oven. I will purchase a Viking stove and dump this piece of garbage. I needed a washer/dryer and purchased a Samsung unit. I am very happy with the unit and the experience. LG is all talk. The LG unit is the worst experience one could have. Bought the washer all expecting a long lasting machine - 3 years into the proud ownership - the rear tub bearings went bad, I called over 25 people who work on washers. Found 4 that worked on LG, the bearing in the rear of the tub is worn out - don’t sound too bad, can’t get the parts - can’t get the tub rear assy either. So here I sit with a washer ornament in my basement out $2200 in the washer with the stands and no parts are available! This is a ripoff! The company should be made to repair these washers for this money. This is serious funds out. Not to mention the repair to this is $390 for the rear tub assy and the labor of $400. Almost $900 in this washer!

Our LG fridge broke after 5 years (was not a cheap fridge). The sealed system went out. The part was still under warranty but I had to pay labor ($400). No big deal... We just 1 month later that same part went out again!! The guy who installed it said LG needed to give approval for him to fix it for free this time but LG refuses! They are saying I have to pay labor yet again even though the part they sent me was bad! That is totally unfair! I should not have to pay double labor because THE PART THEY SENT ME WAS BAD! I will NEVER buy from them again. Worst customer service ever! The lady on the phone said well how do I know the service guy is telling the truth... maybe he fixed it wrong. IT WAS AN LG CERTIFIED SERVICE GUY!!! I told her to send someone else out to look and she refused!!

Washer is staining clothing, and the stains will not come out. Ive had 2 repair people (both sent by LG) come out and they have both told me it should be replaced. After numerous calls to LG, and their stating they never got any feedback from the repair techs, they finally tracked down the comments. LG has said that the feedback they received from the first service tech was he couldnt find the problem...and since he didnt even take out any tools to dismantle the machine, that is true. But when he told me it should be replaced, and that would be what he would communicate to LG, I believed him. After asking for a 2nd opinion, they sent a 2nd tech who also advised it should be replaced. However, LG said that 2nd tech said it needed to be repaired but that I declined further service (which is absolutely false). Happy to have it repaired, replaced, whatever...just want to have a washing machine that doesnt leave stains on my clothing...but it seems LG doesnt want to replace a faulty product, nor do they want to send qualified repair people to actually address the problem. Super frustrated, and will never buy another LG product again, as this experience has been completely awful.

Purchased LG French Door fridge in March 2016. Compressor went out while on vacation June 2017. Out of Warranty, we purchased extended warranty. Made a call on Monday, repairman came on Wednesday - diagnosed with compressor issues - even said we were lucky to get a year out of the fridge. He had no compressor on the truck - although its the most common problem. Friday, we contacted LG service again to get a time frame of repair. (We had company visiting from across the country.) They said they had to contact repairman. Repairman had not been able to make the report to warranty company because the line was always busy when he called. Their response was, we have to report this to our higher department. It will take 1-2 business days to get a resolution. (That meant a minimum of 3 days due to it being Friday.) Looks like we will be without a fridge for a minimum of 2 weeks... Never had an issue this frustrating.

Our 9 month old LG French Door Refrigerator has had a horrible vibrating sound almost from the day we bought it. As a final measure before throwing it out, I took the lower rear cover off the compressor area. The compressor is vibrating very loudly, to the point of complete annoyance. I placed a small piece of 1 thick hard rubber flooring wedged above the compressor... this appears to have temporarily stopped the vibration (as has a number of other attempts to stop it including turning off the ice maker, removing the ice tray, taking jars off the inside refrigerator door, checking the level of the refrigerator, and cleaning the dust off the coils). Call goes out to LG to come get it tomorrow.

I like so many others, purchased my French Door LG refrigerator on 11/13/2015. Almost four weeks ago I walked into the kitchen and discovered a puddle of water on the floor. Called a local repair service and they came over and said it was the board. They ordered a new one, which took two weeks to get. Installed it and guess what, that wasnt the problem. Its the compressor! I has to call a certified LG repair service and they have ordered the new part, said it will take 7-10 days to get. So hopefully by the end of next week it will arrive. In the meantime after reading all of these complaints I have called NBC News Better Get Bacquero and am also filing a complaint with the District Attorney in NYS. I suggest that everyone who has these issues (there seem to be over 1900 of us) do the same thing. By the way, if you check out the complaints re: the Kenmore refrigerators also made by LG there are a total of over 4000 complaints. Something needs to be done!!

I purchased this product less than 5 months ago and the water pump went out. Called LG customer service and they referred me to a company who refused to service any of their products. I called LG back and they gave me another phone number, called and set up a service call. They showed up with NO parts on them due to LGs policies. They do not allow them to carry parts for their product with them. The company ordered the part and told me it would be 4 business days before I could get it fixed due to LG having to ship them the part. LG on the other hand said they 2 day overnight parts. That was a lie. The appliance repair came 6 business days later (due to waiting on part), installed the pump, and to no avail. The technician said it had to be the computer board that was bad. What?!? We tested the washer and lo and behold due to the bad computer board, it burned up pump #2. From this point obviously I had a lemon of an appliance. Thank God for our local Home Depot, whom I purchased it from, because dealing with LG is a nightmare! We bought this refrigerator in 2016. It was between this and the Samsung. I liked the looks of this one and it has a great reputation. I did not like the 3 small vegetable drawers, but thought it was minor and I would get used to it. I still do not like them. Celery doesnt fit unless cut. The only really good place to store big milk jugs is in the door which is supposed to be the worst spot to store milk. Other locations would make accessing all corners awkward. But these are minor compared to the real problem. The refrigerator stopped cooling about 4 months ago. The repairman said LG was aware that the coils had been made with inferior material so replaced it for free. (Should have been recalled before I lost all the food in my freezer and refrigerator). Since, the parts were replaced the unit has been extremely noisy. I can hear the high pitched noise upstairs from the kitchen. I called the service guy to come out again. $175.00 later I was told that it is a more powerful compressor and nothing can be done about it. I may have to get rid of it because it is driving us all nuts! Its unacceptable. Refrigerators are expensive! If this is the best LG can do, I dont want anything to do with their products!

I left the house shortly after and received a call from my family that they smelled gas. Went home of find, that the right front burner in off position did not have a flame, but left the gas on, thus filling my house with gas. When I call LG, they gave me the run around then said, since I purchased it from Best Buy, I had to call them to complain about the knobs. Now for the math, 5 knobs, 3 broke. By the way, one of the knobs that did not break had a metal strip around it, to reinforce the plastic. My husband purchased this set less than 5 years ago. Our clothes smell horrible, like mold and mildew. We have tried the tub clean cycle on the washing machine, have bought products designed to clean the washer, and we leave the door and detergent drawer wide open when not in use to try to keep mold from growing. Absolutely nothing works! I contacted LG customer support and they said I had to get someone to service it. Why should I pay someone to do what I have already tried? There is nothing they can do that we havent already attempted. Like others have noted, the thing also will not stay level. My washer is on a top floor and it sounds like an earthquake when the spin cycle is going. The dryer is no better. The clothes are rarely even close to dry when it stops and I have to continuously keep running it for multiple cycles to get them to dry. I should have just kept my top loading Maytag instead of wasting a lot of money on this piece of junk. I never had to buy products to clean out mold and mildew from the top loading Maytag, much less pay someone to service it.

We purchased an LG French Door, bottom freezer and all the other LG matching products in advance of moving into our new home. Refrigerator, Double Oven, Cooktop, Dishwasher and Microwave. This last Fathers Day the refrigerator did a meltdown during the festivities. By the time dinner was over, so was the refrigeration abilities of a 2 year old $2500.00 appliance. We had purchased a 5 year protection plan. We called the Home Depot with all the paperwork, account, model numbers in hand. After the typical automated system trying to get you to do everything on-line we were finally in contact with someone who pretended to be interested. After the painful research in order to verify our warranty, the finger was pointed at LG. During the transfer to LG and pushing all the buttons to get me to the right department, someone eventually picked up the phone and hung up on me. Back to the Home Depot warranty line, wading through their automated phone system and again on line with a human who gave me more information that was neither warranted or needed, told me that LG would have it fixed in 24-48 hours. I was happy for the moment. Finally, again through the automated System and long wait “because of the virus” I got to speak to someone who again had to verify the existence of our warranty. Oh boy, this is how I wanted to spend my life! I explained, the purchase, warranty, model number, code inside the door, yes it was plugged in, yes the light came on, yes the ice maker had no ice, no there was no cold air when I opened the doors and no the water dispenser was not providing cold water. Yes it was really broken.Three days later, an appliance center 50 miles away called in a very non-English speaking voice called me to confirm that I “had a refrigerator LG that is not working and can be repaired” Yes she did say “refrigerator LG”, if I set an appointment and paid for the repair at the time of service and would have to call LG for reimbursement after the repair. This offer and the person didn’t sound like a viable and credible situation. I asked if they were following up on my Home Depot Claim... no answer.I called Home Depot, went through the automated system again and they said to stay away from this offer and wait for LG To call. And they were so interested, they assigned a “case manager” to my claim, oh boy. My “case manager” called, we went through the whole story, again, and she assured us that she was “on the case”.Two days passed, the mysterious appliance repair shop left an automation voice mail, “We can fix your refrigerator if you call us and authorize us to order the parts. The parts will take about a week to arrive. We can then set up a service appointment”. We called our “case manager” went though another automated system asking us if we would rather find what we wanted “on-line” waited and finally got a real person. Asked for Ashley to which we got silence and “do you know what department she’s in?” More time another explanation of the story and then finally Ashley’s phone rang, and rang and rang and then Ashley’s electronic explanation of how to use the Internet to get answers and how to leave a message for her and she would call right back. She did, seven hours later. She then came to the realization that we had lost all of our food, drinks, and no refrigerator at all! For the last six days. It’s Friday night, but before she goes home for the weekend she’s going to “send an email to our local Home Depot to see if they can let us borrow a refrigerator on Monday” Assuming that we can easily do without a refrigerator til then. I asked if this week long period was typical of the wait for service? She said “unfortunately this isn’t very long at all, it may take weeks”. Tomorrow, Sunday, will mark the seventh day of eating out, buying bags of ice for the milk and juices and regretting we were so naive to spend more money on a warranty, and NOT to go through the product reviews posted by others.

Updated on 09/10/2019: Update to my previous post. After a week of having the parts the Puls technician finally showed up and installed a new/different compressor than the original. Install went fine up to the point he told me it required a new software upload before we could plug in the refrigerator, which he has not received yet. Now another day has come and gone with no working refrigerator (two days after replacing the compressor). What a major undertaking this has been! I had to call on behalf of the technician to get the software ordered and Puls is telling me that it was LG that was the hold up. What a nightmare of an ordeal. You would think LG would know the software was a requirement and would have sent it with the compressor. Nope, no such luck! What horrible aftermarket support. Think twice before buying LG... Original Review: I have loved my LG fridge until it stopped working. I called LG and they asked a few question and figure out it was a closed system or compressor issue under warranty. They shipped me all the parts needed (good for LG) but Puls Technologies Inc. dropped the ball and did not have a tech show up as scheduled. So they told me it would be the next day, then they called back and said the soonest would be in three more days on Saturday. My question is, can I get a technician on my own and have them do the repair and send LG the bill? A week without a refrigerator is not a fun thing to deal with. After reading more on LG refrigerators, I see this seems to be an on going issue. Wish I knew this before I bought the fridge and an LG dishwasher. Lets just say, I wont be buying a matching oven and microwave from LG.

LG washer - Its not a high efficiency, energy-saving washer if you have to wash everything twice. In particular, it puts large, yellow spots on my sheets that werent there when I put them in the machine. I just use Tide, Downy fabric softener and a little bleach. When I take them out, there are weird spots nearly every other time. Not worth it.

Electric Range model number LDE3017SW. After only using my electric range a couple of times, I noticed steam and grease lines inside the door between the two glass panels. These lines and this film and grease have continued to cover the inside of the double paned window. My range always looks dirty as if I need clean the door windows, but the grease lines and steam lines are on the inside. I called to ask them to come to fix the seal or replace the door and they said they are unable to do so unless I pay someone to come take the door apart to clean it. I should not have to disassemble the door to clean it. The seal between the window panes are faulty or defective. I had my first Maytag range for the first 34 years without anything beyond normal wear and tear from use. This LG one cooks and bakes well, but has this issue which is hard to look at everyday. Also, the top is white and the burner glass top areas already have stain. This is not as big of an issue for me as the streaked windows in the door. LG has refused to send anyone out at their cost when this is a manufacturers defect.

Bought a LG washer. It leaked. I have 2 different warranties. One with LG and one with Leons. Nobody wants to replace this machine. It is not even a year old. My insurance company has even said not my fault and paid me for floor damages to the amount of $8314.48 plus my $1,000 deductible. But I still have a broken machine. Never buy LG or shop at Leons furniture. Their warranty cost me an extra $199.95 on top of the machines cost. Tell me what good is warranty if nobody stands by it.

Is this level of service LG intends to provide? We visited LG PEL and New Allied Gujranwala, Pakistan regarding our one LG washing machine (product model: wd80150) issue, but both were saying, “We are not providing LG after sale service.” I even sent 5 emails to LG customer service on August 17, 2011, and they did issue a complaint reference number **. I received what I felt was extremely poor service, and I felt I should write and inform you. They did issue a complaint reference number **; still, they are saying that they do not have LG parts and testing equipment. Im sure that this isnt the level of service you intend to provide. I would like to continue being a customer of LG, but I feel this type of after sale service makes it easy for your customers to simply never do business with you again. I look forward to hearing from you.

I bought an electric double oven, convection on bottom, glass top. Model is LDE 4415,4413 or 4411. Anyway, I like to cook. This oven is horrible. It takes 30 minutes to boil water!! I have never had such a horrible oven to cook on. Burners are impossible to heat up, when they eventually heat up its impossible to turn them down. You cant control the temperature. Another thing I think is really odd is the oven light. My model has an 2 ovens with the convection oven on the bottom. It seems odd to me that when the oven light is on it is on in both ovens, not a big deal, just seems light a cheap design. Do not buy this product, unless you dont like to cook.

As many others have stated, if I could provide zero stars I would!!! Do not buy even if other reviews are good. Its not if its when your product will default. Weve had our LG refrigerator for less than 3 years, and bought the extended warranty. Unfortunately, its been nothing but trouble. We are currently out of a refrigerator and LG still has yet to come up with a solution or a reliable repair company. The first issue was the fan in the freezer compartment which was fixed and covered under warranty. Now its the compressor, which for anyone thats not aware does have a 5-year manufacturer warranty that we would not have known until someone told us and it wasnt LG. The company that LG contracted out came to repair (the company actually had horrible reviews online) but guess what folks our refrigerator still is not working and we are at 4 weeks. I would like to add for anyone experiencing issues to file a complaint with the BBB which I just finished. Its too soon to determine if this will help mitigate the process but its worth pursuing. We spend entirely way too much for a product that does not work.

I have a top loading Waveforce model. Im one of the few lucky owners in that my machine has worked - sort of - without the recurring problems of broken parts, leakage, and poor customer service mentioned above. That said, the problem with this dog is that its supposed to weigh the clothes and dispense a volume of water based on that weight. Unfortunately it ALWAYS grossly underestimates the amount of water needed with the result that much of the load sits above the water line (exposed to the air) for the duration of the wash cycle and doesnt get cleaned very well. This holds true for any size load, from light to heavy. The only setting Ive found that dispenses enough water to adequately wash any size load is Bulky Bedding, which dispenses quite a bit of water regardless of the size of the load. The problem is, if you only need to wash a few items and you want them to actually get washed, you still have to use this setting with the result being that you end up with much more water than you need to get the job done. This will be the last high tech appliance of any kind I will buy from any company, especially LG, because all of these companies massively overcharge for bells and whistles that never work as advertised. Same principle holds true for the LG dryer. It (and my previous Bosch dryer) claims to have a sensor that detects moisture IN THE DRUM, which in turn controls when the dryer turns off. Problem is, it almost always underestimates the amount of moisture IN THE CLOTHING ITSELF with the result that the load doesnt always dry properly. From here on out every appliance I purchase will be basic, low tech appliances that do a better job for a fraction of the cost of the bells and whistles versions.

Wow! So glad I read these other complaints. I thought I was doing something terribly wrong to have my just washed clothing smell so foul. Bad product. We should get our money back, but it doesnt sound like we will. We, the consumer, who purchased this product have been pretty much robbed of our dollars. They do not back their product. We lose. I called LG and they gave me their local repair company to deal with in scheduling the repair. They have been to my house 5 times, replaced the compressor twice along with other parts. I had to pay $600+ for the labor and parts that werent under warranty. It still doesnt work. My wife called LG and they said there is nothing more they can do. Im out $600 and a fridge. We purchased a house 3-years ago with all new LG appliances. Recently our oven which wed used sparingly started making a strange noise. Turning on the oven to bake we observed a hole melted through the rear of oven with flames shooting out into the oven similar to a torch. The oven has installed trouble-shooting software & so I downloaded the app to my cell ph. yet after numerous attempts it failed to work. Our LG refrigerator also failed in March under warranty and I am now 5-weeks into trying to get LG to honor their warranty after an $1150 repair bill. Its now been 10-days since I remitted all our paperwork to LG upon their request and no word back - nothing, nada, zilch. The oven range was out of the 1-year warranty and due to nature of problem and faulty software we instead purchased a new over for $1050. Between the 2 LG appliances it has now cost us $2200 in 2 months. If I ever get any reimbursement from LG towards refrigerator I will revise my reviews to reflect their standing behind their products and their warranty. After so many communications back & forth I simply do not know if LG is legit or plays games with consumers - Upcoming I will update everyone on the refrigerator situation IF I hear back finally from LG.

Contacted LGs customer service after major issues with the refrigerator one year and three weeks old. We were transferred to multiple customer service agents. Placed on hold at one point 2 1/2 hours. Funny thing is the message that plays when youre on hold how our time is so valuable to them. Each time you get a customer service representative you have to start from the beginning, Even though supposedly every phone call is documented.Of course, any reasonable person would escalate in their frustration with each one of these phone calls that were made. Not to mention the multiple times we were being transferred and hung up on and had to call back. Absolutely nothing is done until I had to raise my voice and demand to speak to someone that can get something done. When I finally got a corporate supervisor on the phone it took him less than 20 minutes to schedule an appointment and extend the warranty to have the refrigerator serviced. Any reasonable company that stand by their product would have done this from the beginning. I will never purchase another LG product and I will tell everyone I know to think twice before they make a purchase.

Nothing changes the smell: we drain the stagnant stinky water every 3 loads, tub clean with bleach every 2 weeks, wipe down the interior rubber ring and leave the door open after every wash. I have only compliments and no issues whatsoever with 2 sets of LG washers
I have only compliments and no issues whatsoever with 2 sets of LG washers & dryers purchased new at Frys. This review concerns the quality of the washers & dryers themselves, as I have not had to deal with customer services at all, having no repair or return. Had I read the numerous horror stories on this website I would probably think twice about LG appliances. However, I have absolutely no problems with my LG washers/Dryers. The first pair, purchased in March 2011 were front-load 4CF washer model WM2101HW, and WM2101HW, electric dryer. This set still works perfectly at my exs place. The second set, purchased 11/2014, were top-load 4.7CF washer model WT5070CV, and DLE1101W electric dryer. This brand new set works great - the washer has a huge capacity with a short, stubby agitator at the bottom. However, I miss my old LG front-load washers advantages: it uses less water yet cleans clothes slightly better, it is much gentler on clothes hence producing little lint if any, and it washes bulky loads such as pillows better because, having no agitator, it just tumbles the load over and over. So far so good, knock on wood.

I have contacted customer service via the telephone and email, but have gotten nothing but excuses. Our 2-year old range is rusting, pitting and the enamel is wearing off from the grates sliding in and out. We have an extended warranty with GE, but they said our warranty doesnt cover the issues. They term this as cosmetic. We have had other stoves/ranges over the years and this has never happened. LG also states that cosmetic issues arent covered. In December of this past year, I wrote a letter and mailed it to a location in New Jersey which online had shown it as a corporate office, but never received a response. It would be appreciated if someone would acknowledge my concerns and receive some restitution. We bought five LG appliances in one week at The Home Depot and spent over $6000.00 and have no problems with the items. I hope someone could help us out!

The good part about LG is that they do try to present a customer service initiative to folks who post on social media. Sadly, it is a hollow effort. As anyone can read on this site, the response is either a really poor AI or worse, a person who types the same thing. Buying a $2,000+ refrigerator that makes excessive noise is unarguably a significant issue. LG claims this noise is normal, and I dispute that. Compressor noise that can be heard in other rooms is not normal. While LG did send a technician out to assess this issue, that was inconclusive, and the best LG can offer is to send another one out. But if the noise - the worst Ive experienced with any refrigerator for decades - is considered normal, why bother. When buying an LG refrigerator, be sure to buy the retailers extended warranty that allows a return after 3 (or whatever) attempts to repair.

I purchased my LG side-by-side refrigerator from Best Buy in October 2016.
I purchased my LG side-by-side refrigerator from Best Buy in October 2016. Initially I was very pleased with the unit, no problems until late June 2018. The temperature dropped significantly and the freezer no longer kept food frozen. I was informed after placing a service call that the compressor ceased to work and other updates were needed to the refrigerator. One year later in July 2019 the freezer and refrigerator are again working insufficiently. I have lost a ridiculous amount of food in both the freezer and refrigerator. I am again using a cooler, buying ice frequently. I contacted the LG customer service department this past Sunday July 21, 2019 to inform staff of a malfunctioning refrigerator and to complain that this was the second incident in three years. I was given an appointment for July 25, 2019. My husband took the day off of work in order to receive the repairman. After no one showed, my husband contacted LG customer service department and was informed that the appointment had been canceled. We did not cancel the appointment. LG customer service informed us after some time that A& E Factory Service, their contractor, canceled the appointment and did not inform LG nor did they inform us of the cancellation. Eventually my husband was given an appointment for August 5th 2019, two-weeks from the originally scheduled appointment. He explained the challenges in retaining food, money lost, and that we have a five year old daughter who had clumpy milk that had to be discarded... the next available appointment was moved to August 1, 2019. I phoned yesterday, July 25, 2019 explained the above and inquired about the earliest available appointment. After being on the phone for twenty minutes I was informed that the earliest possible appointment is still August 1, 2019 however it is not confirmed, therefore I do not have a concrete appointment as of yet. I was told that someone will call us to confirm the actual August 1, 2019 appointment next week. I am very disappointed. I am very dissatisfied. This is the worst appliance purchase I have made. Most loads show as unbalanced to which the washer responds by refilling the tub with water. It is almost impossible to meet the machines balance requirements. The constant refilling makes the machine a little less than high efficiency. The companys position that you need to wash things of similar weight in a load is ridiculous. I would have to wait until every piece of clothing I own needed washing before I could meet that requirement. Purchased my LG fridge in Oct. of 2011. The first service call we had to have was in May 2012. The fan in the freezer that blows the cold air through the unit was not working, and the fridge was not getting cold. The repairman basically said that the fan had slipped down the shaft and could not work. He repaired it at that time, which lasted until Sept. of 2012. At that point, it happened again, and the motor on the fan burned up, and had to be replaced. We took his advice and purchased an extended warranty through LG. The third time the fan malfunctioned was in July of 2013. It sounded like a weed eater was inside my freezer. LG premium care set up a service call for Aug. 22, but the repairman cancelled because he had no record of my extended warranty, and we refused to pay his $150 service call fee up front. I contacted LG again, and they set up another appointment on Aug. 30. The repairman replaced the fan motor again, which didnt fix anything. The next service call was set up for Sept. 10. This time we had two servicemen show up. Upon opening up the fan unit, we were informed that the previous repairman had forgotten to reset the unit. We have gone a month and a half without a refrigerator, and have lost food constantly. I dont feel that I should have to keep buying $150 extended warranties each year to repair their defective unit again and again. Please advise me of my rights and options on this matter.

Our LG front loading washer and dryer are seven years old. We purchased a four year service plan with each, which got us through the first four years. The washer is on its third drum, although replacement drum number two was discovered to be damaged during installation. A lot of other parts have also been replaced, Ive lost track. The water pump went out and needed replacement, which was probably good because it was discovered the drum was again loose. Now the unit died, nothing works, third control panel installed, still dead. The dryer is another story with a consistent knocking. When asked, the warranty serviceman suggested buying an older washing machine in good condition off Craigslist or at garage sales. Id happily pay more for a dependable product, in the end it would be more economical. I thought LG might be such a product but as it turns out its just run of the mill with great advertising.

I had complained regarding TV service before 40 to 50 days but still, the status is the same.My TV Model No. LG-LED/42LA6620 got a problem as the TV was not turning ON, regarding this I had complained and an executive told that they will come and diagnose the issue. After couple of days, he came and saw that there is a problem in it and told he will return in a couple of days and went. But later he did not return at all. He did not even receive our calls and we were in search of help, but nothing happened. Later I called to customer care and you people told that it will be done on chargeable basis. Even visiting charges should be beared by the customer. I agreed for that and requested for the executive at my place. And you people struggled a lot to arrange a person to my place but you people failed to do that. But we are the person who is suffering and ultimately our situation is like Wait or Go and as we got an expensive TV from you and fortunately or unfortunately I have got all LG brands in my house (TV, FRIDGE, WASHING MACHINE etc.,) and I am a promoter for LG product. But now am just afraid that how about future of the products I got. How the support and services for these products, am panicked. And after struggling a lot we didnt get any help from LG but we at the receiver end have to get our TV repaired and took that TV personally and went to the other city that is Hospet from Gangavathi for getting it serviced. After submitting that TV they told that it has to be diagnose and it will take a couple of days and we left our TV there and returned. After couple of days, they told that there is a motherboard issue and it will charge you around 7k to 9k.I told them to go ahead and service it. I want the TV to be Fixed. But trust me I have doubt on those technicians over there, I am having an impression that I am in safe hands or someone trying to loot us. But still, I told them to go ahead and service it. Later after a couple of days, I get a call saying that it will take a month to replace it. I told, Okay. Fix it as soon as possible. And later I get one more story that, We need bill sir as this motherboard is not available as of now, if you provide bill then we will look for depreciation and you can go for another model. Now am really frustrated and just cant control myself for simple issue, I am okay with taking TV personally to the service center, I am okay with replacing a motherboard, I am okay with money, I am okay with time. Now its a new phase. They are asking me to go for depreciation. But I managed my self to get the bill and submitted to them but until today am in the same situation and TV is in the same condition. Today 23/12/2017 morning when I called to the customer care, I get these type of responses ie., Sir you need to visit the dealer where you have submitted your TV, and, We cant help you in this, what the hell is this response from LG customer care, I made him realise that he is working for LG then he told that he will arrange call back. Later I called once again and narrated all the story to that lady, she told she will arrange a call back. Thank God that I got a call from LG but now they started with new story which clearly shows that they are cheating openly to the people. When I called in the morning and asked regarding the status of my TV, LG customer care people they told part is not available so it will take some more time. But after an hour I get a call saying that sir your LCD has problem as we are testing on your TV but there is problem in display. Now here we can see clearly, that from main office they are saying part is pending, and from Hospet dealer they are telling that, Sir motherboard we received and testing on it but there is a problem in LCD and it will be fixed with a charge of Rs: 24,000/- extra. If they tell us that its going to cost you more in which we can go for other options by dropping the idea of getting this tv repaired. This is so cheap activity done by you people to grab money or to drop the issue. If you people really need money/dont want to support then try to get it by earning with trust but not by cheating the innocent people, its our hard-earned money we spend on buy expensive gadgets by trusting giant companies. Now I am requesting you again to the experienced/some qualified engineer to look into the issue and solve it. Really LG is stepping back from giving services. Its really gonna affect the brand. I was promoter for the company but you people are making me to go for worst condition... If this is condition for few more customers then soon it is gonna be in helpless situation. I dont know what kind of engineers LG is hiring not capable to repair a simple issue then what for they hire a so-called qualified developers.

We purchased an LG range and it was delivered on Dec. 14th. When I tried to convection/bake something at 225 degrees, it automatically went to 300 degrees. I tried putting a lower temperature in and the same thing happened, jumped right to 300 degrees. I called customer service and they told me that it needed to be serviced and set up a technician to come out on the following Tuesday. When the technicians came out (who were very unprofessional and unskilled), They replaced the main electronics panel. The oven still did the same thing. They called technical support at LG and the technician did not know why it did not fix the problem. He went to LGs test kitchen and found that all ovens of this model only convect at 300 degrees or higher. After speaking to a manager, LG informed me that there is nothing they can do and couldnt tell me if they have any oven brands that convection/bake below 300 degrees. The manager actually hung up on me and did not transfer me to anyone who could give me this information. My question is..... has anyone had this problem with LG ovens. Do other brands convection/bake below 300 degrees? We had a Hamilton beach countertop convection oven that would cook at lower temperatures. Is this just a feature on full size ranges?

We purchased our LG LFX29945ST refrigerator in June of 2014 and started to have major problems in December with the refrigerator compartment freezing food. We had the temperature set at 45 degrees and it was still 30 degrees inside. Called LG for service and got terrible support. We made several calls, got disconnected/hung up on once. The smart diagnosis showed we opened the refrigerator too much (we have a family of 5 so it gets used a lot). They tried to tell us it wasnt level, but the level showed good. Lucky for us we purchased a warranty via Lowes. Lowes sent a service person out and he would sit on hold for 20-30 minutes to talk with an LG tech. Service replaced the whole inside back panel with the air control doors and thermostats along with the control board. This repair caused the refrigerator to not get cold at all. Tech came back out and was told by LG support it was the wrong control board that the LG tech told him to order. Another week later the new control board comes in and its freezing food again (temp between 28-30 degrees). We been unable to use the refrigerator for over two months. Tried to do a review on the LG website and they denied it. I guess that is how they get such good reviews by rejecting the negative ones. I cant believe that I spent over $2,000 dollars on a refrigerator that I cant use for food. At this point the Technician and I are both very frustrated with LG and still trying to resolve the issue. How can a consumer get a bad appliance replaced?

I paid approximately $400 in flat fees for LG to fix my broken dishwasher (2 visits by their representatives STEIN Appliances starting November 2014). Neither of their solutions worked, the dishwasher will still not operate properly and they have yet to refund my money. Instead, they provided me with a credit towards a new one of approx. $450. This in effect will cost me, when you account for the new machine, delivery, installation, taxes approx $1135. I advised them I would accept their offer IF they returned the approx. $400 I paid for repairs the failed to make. In spite of 2 emails, I have not received a response (approx. 20 businessdays).

I am unhappy with the washer because it doesn’t allow you to choose water temperature or usage. Clothes don’t get completely get submerged in water and are not thoroughly rinsed and therefore cause rashes. The hoses did not hold up and caused floor damage from leaking.

On August 25, 2019 my refrigerator started getting warmer and warmer. I called Sears repair but they only had an appointment two weeks out on September 10th so I took it. Thats a long time to go without a refrigerator. However, I read online that LG refrigerators have issues with their compressor so I decided to call LG direct to see if there was any warranty on my fridge I purchased in 2012. After the standard questions...the service agent provided me with a phone number of the local repair person for LG. I called Lilo and he was able to come out the very next day. He confirmed it was the compressor and then tested the motherboard to make sure the software would be compatible with the new compressor which it was, whew. I know there have been a lot of bad reviews here but I didnt have the same experience so I decided to take the time to post. Thank you for the help LG and I appreciate your service repair person here in Hawaii!
