I am so sorry I bought all new Samsung kitchen appliances in May of 2017. Just talking about the refrigerator here, the ice maker was repaired twice during the first year it was under warranty and it still freezes up on a monthly basis. This morning when I went to get a glass of water... nothing came out! UGH!

I purchased a Samsung 2 door with freezer drawer from Best Buy a little over a year ago. First problem was a build up of frozen ice under the cool select tray. I chipped the ice out figuring it might be some water that leaked under the tray by accident. Two weeks pass and the same thing happens again. I call Samsung and of course they say the warranty is out and they cant do anything to resolve my issue. A week later the ice maker goes out. How can a year old refrigerator have these issues? Samsung offers no remedy for the problems and the customer service is horrible. That was a complete waste of $1500.I will never purchase a Samsung product again. When I see people looking at Samsung refrigerators, I immediately tell them the issues I have and for them to look at the reviews before making the same mistake I did buying a Samsung refrigerator. If Samsung refuses to help me Im going to help others by persuading them to stay away from the Samsung product. I even took pictures of my issues to share with potential Samsung buyers.

My Samsung dishwasher model DMT300RFW failed six months out of warranty, but used less than 20 times (it was at a second home). Repair cost was just over 1/2 the purchase price.Failed part was the drain pump, DD31-00005A. Failure mode was that the impeller shaft O ring had expanded from the drain water, preventing the shaft from turning freely. (The housing O ring had also expanded.) The O rings were not made with an appropriate material. In summary, the failure of a 10-cent part killed the dishwasher.Next, an attempt was made to report these findings to Samsung through their 800 number. Though my message was taken, there appeared to be a stone wall in terms of getting anyone to do anything. If this happens again, and it likely will, I may buy space in the Wall Street Journal and see if they care. What did I expect, at least that someone would make sure that my findings got to the right people. I guess it would be naive to expect anything else.

In November 2015 we purchased a Samsung Electric Range with Black Stainless finish. The model number is NE59J7630SG, recently we have noticed that the paint is flaking off around the oven door. Your hands do not come in contact with this area. We contacted Samsung and they told us it was too bad but they call it a cosmetic issue, so it is not covered under any warranty. The Best Buy protection policy does not cover it as well. After viewing many complaints about Samsungs Black stainless issues on the internet, both ranges and refrigerators we decided to push the issue. Samsung said they would send a repair person out but if the issue was deemed cosmetic we would have to pay the $200.00 service call. We have sent pictures and done everything they wanted and they will not back the product. It is my (and many others) opinion that appliances should not have paint peeling off of them after 2 1/2 years.

The only good thing I will say about this piece of junk is that it is a nice looking microwave. I bought it in April 2016 and have had numerous problems. In November 2017 while using the convection oven the door glass shattered out of nowhere. Before that happened it had shut off completely on three occasions and would turn back on in the morning when it cooled down. I have a Geek Squad warranty so they fixed the door in November and since then the cavity TCO has failed twice and burnt the wires along with it. Before I bought this piece of junk I had a GE Advantium that lasted 15 years without a problem before it died. I guess you get what you pay for with the $400 piece of Samsung garbage. Do yourself a favor if you are reading this and do not buy a Samsung.

I purchased a Samsung Dishwasher at Lowes less than 4 months ago. Started having problems. Called my very unhelpful Samsung warranty people. All I got was the runaround. The part that holds the seal in place has come off and it leaks on the floor. They told me that they would send a repairman out and told me that I would have to pay for the service call and that the part was a cosmetic issue and that it is not covered by their so-called warranty that is not worth blowing my nose on it. If there is anyone wanting to do a class action lawsuit I am in. I will never buy a Samsung product as long as I live. Lowes Home Improvement was not any help. I will never spend any of my hard earned money at Lowes ever again.

I am writing this letter to inform Samsung and Home Depot of a very real problem that my family and I have with one of your products. We bought a refrigerator on November of 2017 from Home Depot. Very good looking fridge. The sales personnel talked up a very good advertise for it and it was priced very good. Also we were told by Home Depot that it had a 2 year warranty. We didnt think anything about extending a warranty due to the Samsung name being strong in our household. Samsung phones to Tvs and computer monitors. Until March of this year 2019 hit. We noticed the bottom portion where the freezer is starting to ice up. Lots of ice crystals forming all over the food. We thought, well maybe its because we are running the swamp cooler and the humidity is entering the fridge when we open it. Never gave it a thought that less than a year and a half later that something would be wrong with our brand new fridge. Boy were we wrong! A month later, my wife came home and everything in the fridge had melted and spoiled! We checked the temperature on the door display and it displayed the right temperature. Or should I say, the temperature it was supposed to be at. After panicking and trying to salvage whatever food was left by moving it to our garage fridge, we decided to browse the internet for answers. And boy did we find a ton of them with these model types. Apparently this model has an issue which you Samsung will not acknowledge! So after read the instruction of the hundreds of people with the same problem, we reset the fridge and its display came back with the true temperature reading. The fridge is usually set at 0 for freezer and 36 for the fridge. It came back at 57 for the freezer and 71 for the fridge. Big difference after the reset. So obviously now, the fridge kicks back on and starts to cool. So this now happens about once or twice a week. We have to unplug the fridge every 2 to 3 days just to make sure the on board computer gets the right reading and clears the glitch this fridge has. And almost every time we do reset it, the temperature is off by 5 to 10 degrees. We are obviously frustrated. But thats not the worst part. We call Samsung to get someone to repair the fridge because as we were told It has a 2 year warranty and we were told that, No, your model has only 1 year warranty. We were shocked! Not only by that but by when we told Samsung that we were told by Home Depot that it supposedly had a 2 year warranty, that Samsung actually came back with, Oh sorry, we changed it this year. How can you sell an item, tell the customer it comes with 2 year warranty, not only did Home Depot say it, but when you google Samsung refrigerator warranty, it also says 2 years. Then when one breaks, back out of it completely and say Our bad, its one year now. We have 2 kids, we are not rich in any way. We work very hard and try our best to do everything we can for our family. We mustard up the finances to buy this fridge. Not only did we buy the fridge, we also bought a Samsung dishwasher for a matching set. And now we sit here with a fridge we cant use. We lost 300 dollars worth of food and have a $2,000.00 dollar piece of furniture in the kitchen now. After arguing with Samsung for hours which by the way were very rude on the phone, they did us a favor by sending a tech out free of charge to look at it. The guy came out, dusted off the back and cleaned the front grill at the bottom and said theres nothing wrong with it and that there was nothing that he could do. Didnt do any testing on it at all! He actually said its probably our fault for by not monthly cleaning the back of it? Are you serious.? Our Kenmore in the garage has been running for 21 years non stop. And Samsung wants to blame us because there was some dust on the back of the fridge? Wow Samsung, you really know how to stand behind your products. This has set our family back bad financially. We have to use our old fridge in the garage now which is smaller and doesnt accommodate our now growing family, which is the reason we upgraded. Or should I say downgraded. We lost a lot of food. My son has allergies so we have to buy the expensive gluten free food for him. We are still paying on the fridge that you wont repair because of a warranty you lied about. Or that you said changed the next year after our purchase. The ice maker in the fridge is another story. Doesnt work, has to be cleared everyday or it wont make ice. All this in less than 2 years of owning it. I will not let this go. I will write, paste and pass this story anyway I can. This is not right for you to sell a product and walk away from a known problem with these model refrigerators. We cannot afford to buy another one and we cringe at the payment due from Home Depot every month. This is not customer service! This is you ripping a family off from their dreams of having a nice home to raise their kids up in and having the tools to do it with. Thanks for crushing that Samsung and Home Depot. Shawn **

We purchased a top of the line Samsung Dishwasher Model DW80H995OU5/AA. After less than two days of use, it would no longer complete a wash cycle and the door would not stay closed. Upon further inspection we also discover the rear panel of the cabinet was severely bent. After a call to the local dealer, he called back the next day reporting that Samsung would not let him service the machine, but only a Samsung Service Center. Samsung wanted two business days to contact the center to set the appointment. After some discussion they agreed to contact the Local Authorized Service Center (Remedy Appliance Service and Repair) while I was on the line. The Samsung Customer rep. disconnected the line without the connection. I tracked the Authorized Service Center down and offered to pay them to look at the machine. An Authorized Service Representative looked at the machine, determined it was not repairable. He took pictures and told us Samsung would call in one to two business days. They did not. I called Samsung, talking to several service representatives. My request was to remove the machine and return my money, as the machine worked less than 24 hours. The washer cost $1,600. I have now been on the phone with four customer service representatives including executive customer service. I have been told after further extensive processing, I might have my money returned in 14 to 21 days, however the process they describe is about four days, requiring further extensive time on our part. Just horrible service.

One year after purchase, just after the warranty period finished, we found water freezing under and in the vegetable drawers. A month later we realized the paint was peeling off the handles. Searches online indicated other customers with the water problem had multiple service calls with no solution. Thinking that perhaps Samsung had found the solution since those calls happened, I tried contacting them. Since I had read of the same problem and the cause, I defrosted my fridge and was able to describe to Samsung exactly what was happening... but they wanted to send a service tech and charge me for the visit. I did not want to go through the useless repairs that other customers have gone through with no guarantee on their repairs, so we have not had a repairman. Every two or three months we defrost the fridge. Now the handles are looking awful and I dont know if they can do anything other than replace them with handles that have the same defect. I would like some real customer service from Samsung, but I just get boilerplate answers.

3 of 4 Samsung appliances have now died in 5 yrs. Today SMH9187 microwave door latch broke after giving Error 13 the other day. Reading other reviews Im now afraid it will turn on by itself and burn my house down! Worse, Samsung dishwasher broke in 18 months and not only leaked on my hardwood floors but got so hot I needed a potholder to turn off after 5 hrs and it wouldnt stop. Lowes at least stepped in, said these were so bad I got a new Bosch Ive loved now for 3 yrs. Samsung counter depth refrigerator also had icemaker die in under 2 yrs. Lowes replaced it due to extended warranty but now 3 yrs later I tried again with warranty expired. Also had 2 Samsung LCD TVs die in 2 yrs, with both a Blu-ray player and separate DVD go belly up in that time too. Stupid name for ever buying anything from them after 2nd item. Needless to say I will NEVER EVER AGAIN BUY ANYTHING FROM SAMSUNG! Unbelievably bad quality and worse, truly dangerous!! Stay away, hope they go out of business soon.

Where are the attorneys? We need a class action lawsuit. Samsung fridges have a huge number of engineering flaws and instead of fixing them like a good company should do, Samsung is making the consumer pay for a repairman to fix the engineering flaws. It is time to kick Samsung out of the USA. They are doing business third world style. Git your attorney and sue the ** out of them. Show them the wrath of the American consumer and why we dont tolerate cheap crap in this country!!!

This very expensive 4 French door refrigerator (over $3000) quit cooling within 2 years of purchase, and Samsung is non-responsive. My story sounds like the same thing others are experiencing. Samsung supposedly scheduled service with an independent contractor to come look at it and he never showed up because no one ever told him -- they dropped the ball completely. They cant be rescheduled for at least 2 more weeks. I have been receiving the same line, (its not my department) from Samsung for every call I make. Meanwhile, my food is spoiling and I am hoping we dont end up with food poisoning from improperly cooled food. I paid too much for this one to run out and buy another. So we use. It is apparent that once Samsung gets your money they do not care. In my experience, this is a terrible product and bad company that should stick to making televisions -- not refrigerators.

I hate my DMT800 Samsung dishwasher. It does not heat the water nor clean the dishes well. It is about 3 years old and its torn up. There are only certain repair companies that are allowed by Samsung to repair their appliances and some will not repair the appliance if its under warranty. The company I call charges $89.95 for a service call and if they can repair it, they will waiver the service charge. I think that this means it will be expensive to repair it. Im going to buy a new one and it definitely wont be a SAMSUNG.

Refrigerator mod # RF28HMEDBBC/AA - From the first day of having ice, it took FOREVER to get a glass of ice out of it. I called customer service after 2 weeks of use and had them listen to the ice come out and how long it took and she said oh that is normal. The ice comes out in a half crushed half cubed form and I told her THAT is not normal. After trying to convince her that I was over 70 years old and have had ice maker the last 40 years and I know how they are supposed to work and this one sucks and I got extremely frustrated with her I hung up. 4 month later I called back in because the ice maker was freezing up on the inside and outside. They sent a repairman out that totally blew off the first appointment and the second appointment but showed up for the third one but didnt have the parts needed and had to order them. Showed up with those parts, replaced them. After a week it started freezing again. I called back in and they replaced the internals again and two weeks later it froze again and they replaced it again with an upgrade of gaskets on the ice maker along with the internals of the ice maker again. It took almost 36 hours to fill the ice maker and it still comes out half crushed and half cubed. Yikes. It has made a loud noise since we have had it and all of them say this is NORMAL!!! REALLY. The refrigerator part has worked great. The shelving totally sucks for placement of items. NOTHING fits anywhere. Would I buy another one? Not only no but hell no!!! Freezer part is great and no complaints with it. I certainly hope this helps anyone looking to purchase a Samsung French door refrigerator.

My Samsung is probably 15 years old by now. It has been one of my best investments. I think I have had one repair in all that time that may have been $150 which at the time I thought was outrageous. But looking back now was cheap considering the longevity of my refrigerator. It looks great, it is still in style and is easily maintained. It is silver which is very much still in vogue and everything works! I have always taken good care of my appliances so they will last a long time. Now that I have bragged on it, well well see.

My wife and I bought the beautiful new dishwasher and from day one using it the machine doesn’t wash our dishes. If I could give this dishwasher a negative rating I would. It doesn’t deserve a 1 star. We’ve had 3 service calls where techs can’t find anything wrong with it once they run their diagnosis. The tech have given us advice on different types of washing cycles or soap to use and our dishes continue to come out dirty. We’ve even been hand washing prior to putting them in and still come out filthy. Samsung has been horrible to deal with as they just continue to say there is nothing more they can do for us at this time even though they understand it’s not washing. I would never purchase from them again as they do not stand behind their products. I’m not asking for much. Just a dishwasher that washes the dishes. Service ticket number # **.

Six months later there was water under the crisper drawer and the freezer froze over. I cleaned the water from the crisper drawer thinking it was possibly a one time thing. It happened again, and again. I cleaned it up. I called Samsung in Dec. 2016 and they sent someone out to fix it. Well by the time they came out and fixed it the 1 year warranty was up. It happened again and it was only 15 months old. They refused to do anything about it. And now the ice maker shoot is leaking water and the ice is slushy. I bought it from Conns.

I am 72 years old. I have baked since I was ten years old. In all this time, I have only baked on one stove where the oven light did not stay on once it was turned on manually for the entire baking session. Then, at the bakers discretion, the light is turned off, manually, or left on as a night light. The only stove I baked on without this feature was a wood cook stove. After all these years, I finally had the chance to purchase a new gas stove. I did my homework, surfed the web, read the reviews, looked at what was offered and decided to go with the Samsung gas range because it offered a proofing option for bread, plus several other setting that pleased me. The stove was installed and I totally loved the thing except for the darn light in the oven, sounds pretty picky, doesnt it? Well, try baking and opening the oven to check your progress, closing the door and the light is off and has to be turned back on… again and again… and again. Called Samsung and they said the light was working according to the manual. I emailed, chatted, and called. Finally had one fellow tell me that I didnt know how to bake, so I gave up. Since this episode, I have found others who have tried to deal with Samsung. Why does it have to be like this? One lady on Amazon answered my question. She had the same model and she wrote that her light stayed on throughout the baking process. Is there a company that can be depended on to take care of their customers, or is that just a dream. Oh, and before I forget, all through the warranty time, Samsung sent messages to me that This issue was considered closed. I think THEIR light went off...

My family recently purchased a Samsung, french door refrigerator. We even purchased a 5-year warranty with this appliance and a lot of good that did us. After owning it 6 months, the ice machine kept thawing out and refreezing, never working properly. Then after a big whopping 1 year, the SAMSUNG FRIDGE COMPLETELY QUIT!!! We lost everything inside the fridge and went without a fridge for over a week and a half. And do you think SAMSUNG honored the warranty... Nope!!! Do you think they honored the full replacement... Nope!!! We still have a little loaner fridge because nobody can seem to help us. So I wouldnt recommend a Samsung fridge to anyone. Not only is it $expensive$, but it never worked properly and obviously the warranty is worth nothing.

We bought a Samsung microwave just little over one year. The Magtron/etectrode was out. We contacted Samsung for the 10 year part warranty repair. They scheduled their contractor -- Buy Brite Appliances. The service tech came and didnt do anything, and charged us $115 for the service trip, and told us that we need to pay $287 for the other parts on the microwave which need to be replaced to prevent the Magtron overheating again, and Samsung told us that only Magtron is under warranty. Stay away from Samsung microwave product. Its poorly designed and the customer service is horrible to help any. Its a big waste on your money and time.

Less than 2 years after purchasing our Samsung RF266AEPN refrigerator, the fridge started making VERY loud sounds. Turns out the evaporation coil in the back wall of the fridge had a huge build up of ice due to a poor design. This ice made it impossible for the cooling mechanism to function properly. We spent hours carefully melting the ice away and clearing the coil of ice, and putting everything back together. This has become a twice annual ritual. Now new symptoms have developed that will necessitate spending money to repair this piece of junk.

This service request on a new fridge was a nightmare. Thier service company OMB/friends tek is so unprofessional. They called me to schedule time. Hung up on me the first time. They did not call back, but put in notes that I hung up on them. When I called back, waited on hold 45 mins. Then was disconnected. Called back. Waited 30 more minutes. They pressed que to leave a message. I got a message that voicemail was full and told me to try my call later. They tried again to call me 2 days later. I called right back and went through the same scenario. 3rd time they called, I answered and was able to s he duke a service call 1 week later. This whole time I have been calling Samsung customer service with no resolution. They in fact, said they also could not get through to the repair vendor and I should keep trying.Day of appointment- I get a text from Tech telling me he will be there in 4 hour window. I asked if he had a slide protector for the floor (which is standard issue for appliance delivery and repair, and what the installers used). He said no. He told me if to have the fridge moved out away from cabinet before he got here. I advised I could not do that as it was too heavy. He advised me to reach out to place I purchased as he would not move. He only replaces parts or repairs. I contacted Samsung, who again could not help and advised me to contact Home Depot.I contacted Home Depot and explained the situation. They sent out a manager with slide pads and he moved fridge out and placed slide pads under the fridge. Repair tech came out. He showed up in an unmarked personal vehicle with another man with no uniform. How unprofessional. All he wanted to talk about was how he was not going to be responsible for property damage. We determined what the issue was, which turned out to be an installation issue. We also purchased a dishwasher with this fridge. We spent over $4000 and this has been one of the worst experiences I have had with a purchase. Samsungs failure to respond appropriately and ongoing issues with this vendor(as referenced in online reviews) will cause me to never buy a Samsung product again (we also have 2 Samsung TV’s).

I purchased a Samsung Refrigerator Model # RFG293HARS after my home was destroyed by Hurricane Sandy. After 4 months, I noticed 2 small rows of rust on the freezer door. The rows run vertically and are parallel to each other. They seemed to have been caused when the steel was being rolled or somewhere in the manufacturing process. The spots have started to show signs of rust also. When I contacted Samsung (it took many attempts to get a ticket #), I was told it is a cosmetic problem and not covered. I explained that it was something in the manufacturing process and they could care less. They offered to send a tech out and charge me for the tech. I refused. I am next contacted NYC Dept of Consumer Affairs.

Most appliance repair companies refuse to repair Samsung Refrigerator, what a SHOCK! I had no idea. I purchased my Samsung Refrigerator which was priced over $3,000 in 2013 on sale. After just a few months, we walked in the kitchen and saw a puddle of water on the floor. We had a warranty, so this wasnt a big deal. It happened again before the warranty expired. During the last visit, the repairman said it is not a big deal just remove the bottom drawer and remove that layer of ice and that takes care of the problem. The next time our warranty had expired so I did not consider the long term ramifications which hits us now that the bottom freezer drawer has stop freezing completely. This is a very costly repair. I am furious because this is a well known issue with Samsung. I really want my money back because this has been a constant problem.

BEST ADVICE WE CAN GIVE IS DO NOT BUY A SAMSUNG REFRIGERATOR!! Bad design and poor to NO customer service. HERE IS OUR STORY: After 3 months refrigerator stopped cooling. Door said 36 degrees inside was 50 degrees. Called customer service and they said they could not get anyone out for 2 weeks. So milk products spoiled first and then other food stuffs if we did not eat it quickly.Tech made some sensor repairs which did not fix the problem. Called back in a week and it took a week to get a tech out this time. More repairs and he had to order another part. 2 weeks later tech made final repair and the refrig worked for 6 months and then started to not cool again. We called and said this was the 3rd time it failed and we wanted our money back. Take the refrig and give us our money back. That was Sept 2013. It is now Feb 2014 and have called almost weekly which is a minimum of 30 to 45 min on the phone ea time repeating the same information over and over, sent their required documentation in 2 times and ea time they say it will be reviewed and someone will call.NO ONE HAS EVER CALLED TO CLOSE THIS OUT!!! Oh, they did a very sneaky trick of not closing the ticket out after each repair, even though they DID DO 3 DIFFERENT REPAIRS. Customer service said that this was in effect only one repair for the same problem, but I watch and I know they did 3 different repairs to try and fix the same problem, not cooling in the freezer and in the refrig part. We have even tried getting the company we bought it from to help but they cannot get SAMSUNG to address it. So we had to buy another refrig in middle of December 2013 and push the junk Samsung one over to the side.

We bought Samsung, French Door Refrigerator (Model No. 220NCTASE/AA) in January, 2014 from local Leons. Its working fine, but two days we noticed the fridge is not cool as usual and I adjusted the temperature to make cooler, same as for the freezer. And it seemed nothing happens after 24 hours. Then I tried unplugged and re-plugged the power, and waited another 24 hours, I still cant feel any cold air from the fridge and freezer. I am for sure its stopped work just after two years.I then called Samsung support 1-800 phone number and got answered with 10 minutes, unexpected really short wait time. The girl said that she needs to transfer to technical support number. Well after 30 minutes of waiting I got hung up. I re-called the 1-800 phone number again, it happens the same. I tried to re-called the 1-800 from my cell phone and got the same hung up. This is really frustrated getting technical support from Samsung. How could be a big company like Samsung with BAD customer services? The bad thing is that we recently bought a Samsung washer. Well, from now on we will stay away from Samsung brand.

The home I bought came with a french door Samsung fridge model number RF263AEBP. About 3 days after moving in the fridge stopped cooling. Luckily our home came with a home warranty so we filed a claim. There is a known defect with this model Samsung fridge and Samsung is doing nothing to resolve the issue. A family in NJ had to file a class action lawsuit to try getting help from Samsung. The fridge stops cooling and water forms under the fridge. Ice covers the coils therefore the fan stops working. The fridge then goes into defrost mode. This has been an absolute headache for us.We have forked out money on short term repairs and have lost money spent on food that has gone bad. This fridge is easily worth $3000.00. Samsung should be ashamed! I feel there should be a recall on their faulty product. I WILL NEVER buy another Samsung product after seeing how Samsung treats their customers. Im now trying to decide if we should put more money into this fridge or go out and buy a new one. Steer clear of Samsung!!!

Range is 5 months old. Will not hold temp that it is set at. Set at 350 inside thermometer shows after oven is open temp drops. I have been told that no more parts can be replaced. Technician replaced all parts already. Company told technician to tell me to figure out what temp I want to bake at and adjust temp to that temp. It starts out at 380 per the technicians meter when stove is set to bake at 350. Last technician told me to cook one tray cookies at a time because when I pilot in 2 trays, that is making temp drop because heat cant circulate properly with 2 trays and that is why heat temp drops. WHAT? I have been baking for 40 years and have ways been able to bake 2 trays at one time. Sure temp will drop a few degrees when you open oven but I have to shut oven off in order to preheat it each time I open the door to get it to come back to the temp I set. I see all these problems people are having with fires and I am scared to death. I want it fixed right or would appreciate if Lowes would give me credit to get a different make. I will never buy another Samsung product. I did call federal trade commissioner office to give my complaint. Maybe if everyone else called and voiced their complaint, maybe Samsung would have to be responsible and fix these issues.

Updated on 06/16/2019: Well, hello folks! It’s been a couple of years since I last posted. Still the same old fridge complaints. The repair guy has been here at least 4 more times since 2017. Same repairs, circuit boards, etc. THIS time he said Non-Repairable! But it’s ok, the company said they would send a check for 800 dollars. Seems they subtract the prior repairs from your purchase price!! How clever!! Which means the extended warranty is a joke! Hey!! Guess what! I paid a lot more than $800! I now am so sick of Samsung, that I will never, never again be so foolish. Btw the Samsung microwave has been just as bad. This has got to stop. These companies are not concerned about longevity, just sales. I’m ashamed of them.Original Review: Well, fridge is blowing the circuit breaker again. 2nd time in less than 2 yrs. Took 2 mos. the first time to get it fixed, wonder how long this time? H. H. Gregg in Cincinnati is now out of business, although they wasnt much help in the first place, and ext. warranty is dragging their feet again. All brand new appliances after we got our new house, fridge, stove, dishwasher, microwave, washer, etc. controls on the stove never have worked right. Anything below 3 on the burners may work, may not. I wish I just had a fridge that cooled, let alone the icemaker working. Supposedly a couple circuit boards went bad the 1st time, and its doing the same thing this time. So we are patiently waiting for a serviceman to call back, meantime living out of a couple of coolers. BUYING SAMSUNG WAS WITHOUT A DOUBT the BIGGEST MISTAKE OF OUR LIVES!!! This company doesnt care about ANYTHING, except selling you a bill of goods! Well, they sold me once, but NEVER again. I thought they were a good company. Apparently not.

I bought the Samsung electric range model NE59J7630SG in July 2017 from Home Depot when they had the huge sale with refrigerator, microwave, and dishwasher. Before, I have been using a different brand electric range for years with no problem. After about 2 months later, I started to see white scratches in the middle of burner. It looked like some liquid residue right underneath the glass top, which I could not get rid of with cleaning. After 3.5 months later, one night, my mom used it before she went to bed, slept, and when we came out the next morning, we saw round shaped broken glasses on the cooktop which soon gave a big long crack across the burner. I called customer service asking for replacement (had 1yr warranty). They sent me a tech to diagnose, then they said they could not replace it because its a physical damage.I requested second opinion, they sent another tech who said he would request for the replacement, didnt hear anything back for 2 weeks. I called the tech and found out Samsung denied it since its a physical damage. The tech said it would cost me $500 just to replace the top after I just spent $750 buying a new one. I have been fighting with Samsung for 2 months now, spoke with 4-5 different managers. Three of them gave me an approval to get it fixed at their cost, but nothing gets done. Every time I call them, I get a different rep at a different location, they cannot connect me to the person I spoke to before. You give them the ticket# with the approval, but doesnt matter. They dont care what the previous manager promised you, you will have to start from the beginning all over again. They are saying its their policy that physical damage is not covered by the warranty, I did something wrong with the range, doesnt admit that its their product defect. I googled to see if people had the same problem as I did, I found people with the same problem!!! Even I found one on this website, this lady her pictures on here and it looked exactly the same as mine and she said one day she heard a loud bang in her kitchen and the crack on her cooktop!! Do not waste your money on Samsung product. Their product is horrible and when there is a problem, good luck with it.

I also have a problem with my freezer/fridge, a repair man had been out twice. All he does is defrost it with a blow dryer, the drain does not work properly so the bottom of the freeze becomes a skating rink and you can open the bottom drawer. When this happens, the fridge also quits working so I have to take all my food out and put it in a ice chest, put all my frozen food in another freezer and defrost it for 1 to 2 days. I do not feel I should have to deal with this. About every two weeks it freezes up, so I do not even use the freezer part anymore, my unit is two years old, very very very unsatisfied. The first one said our manufacturer warranty was expired in March 2015, but we bought the fridge in August. Second service guy came over; very pleasant guy; changed the defrost panel. It has been exactly a month that they changed the back panel, and the noise from the fan going against the built ice came back. In Nov the wife and I bought a new fridge from Warners Stellian... The old one was getting a bit worn. So we settled on a Samsung bottom freezer model that has an internal ice maker and filtered water dispenser. We got it delivered, set up, and running no problem. It took about 3 days of running water through the system to get it tasting like decent water to start with. One week to the day after delivery, the water dispenser stopped working. We called Warner Stellian and they scheduled a tech to come out in just over a week. The tech looked at it, couldnt figure out why the part wasnt working the way it should be, and said hed order a new one. A week later we get a call from them and they told us that the part wasnt in and due to Samsung redesigning the part we would be getting a brand new fridge. I scheduled a tech from both Warner Stellian and Samsung to come look at it. The guy from Samsung was supposed to be here before the other guy so I was happy. The morning the tech was supposed to come out from Samsung, he was going to call me before 9 to tell me what time he would be here. At 9:30 I texted them and told them I hadnt gotten a call. SHe texted me back and said she would reach out to him. Three hours later I still hadnt heard anything, so I texted again. She texted me back and said Oh Im sorry. The tech called in sick today and we didnt find out about it till a short time ago. WTF???? Three weeks later we finally get the new one. Before they left after delivering it I made sure it worked the way it should. One week to the day after getting it delivered and set up, the water dispenser stopped working. Turns out the redesign wasnt actually a redesign. The work-around the company put out wasnt done on this particular model. The tech puts in a stopgap to at least allow the water to work until they can get the right part in. A week and a half later, they get the part and schedule the tech to come out. He replaces the part and its working again. The fridge worked great for about 3 weeks until last Sunday. We noticed the freezer wasnt working right, then realized the fridge wasnt cooling either. So the tech comes out yesterday, and says he cant figure out exactly what it is. EIther the compressor or the main board. So they have ordered both parts. The parts will arrive in 3-5 business days and then who knows how long it will take for the tech to come out and actually replace the part. Carissa and my grandson are here this week, they arrived last Thursday. So now what food I was able to save is down in the garage in boxes or our chest freezer. My warranty has a provision that allows us to claim $250 worth of groceries but that is a drop in the bucket. Its daily trips to the store because we dont want to keep anything for too long. The food we would have replaced isnt yet because I dont have a place to put it. Warners Stellian says the company has to ok a return of the item and they said since its a new fridge, they will fix it. Their customer support tells me Im sorry for your inconvenience, I hope it can be fixed very soon, or My apologies for this experience.

I hope you all do not consider purchasing Samsung products. We purchased a dishwasher, refrigerator, and microwave in August 2015 from Home Depot. Recently the shelves in our freezer Model # RS25J500DSR/AA are falling from the guides. The shelves are not overloaded. Called Samsung... No help, said it was out of warranty. Asked me to call parts dept. I did and received the SAME SHELF!!! How in this world can I be the only one with a defective freezer shelf??? PURCHASE ANOTHER BRAND...

Samsung is giving me the royal run-around in trying to: * get a 3rd new replacement refrigerator. I bought a 5-year warranty from Home Depot, where I originally bought this refrigerator on 7/15/13; it arrived damaged out of the box; the 2nd refrigerator, which is sitting in my kitchen, wont make ice and the temp in the fridge doesnt get above 54.6 (so all food has spoiled!)* get my current fridge repaired -- TO NO AVAIL! I have called and spoken with 6 different Samsung reps -- one told me parts were on order from Via Appliance; another said well have to refund your money for the fridge but wont refund my $ for the 5-year warranty (I have to deal w/ Home Depot for that!), and yet another said they couldnt help me -- I have to contact their external affairs dept. but refused to give me a phone number. It seems the ONLY appliance repair company that Samsung has under contract in Northern Virginia is so backed up with Samsung refrigerator repairs from customers that theyre refusing to take new service requests from Samsung. There seem to be so many problems with these refrigerators that appliance repair shops are REFUSING to repair them -- even when NEW and even when THEYRE under contract with Samsung. Unbelievable!!! STAY AWAY FROM SAMSUNG REFRIGERATORS!!! Theyre not only a piece of junk, their customer service is non-existent!

We bought 1000 dollar Samsung 2 years ago. Only reason we replaced our 300 Maytag was because it was almond and we wanted stainless steel. We went to buy a Bosch but salesclerk said Samsung was better and quieter. So we listened. Im a person who still scrubs all my dishes before hand even though they say its not necessary. We called service and said dishes were still dirty. We tried putting in dirty dishes, different dish washing soap etc. our dishwasher. Every time you open it smells like someone died. When the tech came over he even commented on how new our dishwasher looked and he had no explanation. Its a piece of ** and a big waste of money. Dont buy a Samsung!

Refrigerator works fine. Water filter cartridge needs to be changed every 6 months. Thats okay too. But SAMSUNG refuses to provide information on what to do to recycle the used filter cartridge. I dont want to reuse it; I just dont want to add more plastic to landfills. Some other refrigerator manufacturers tell you how to empty used cartridges and recycle the plastic. SAMSUNG wont. I tried online search: no usable results. I tried online chat: they connected me to a Printer Expert for crying out loud! I called: they told me the cartridge cannot be recycled and they cannot reveal what plastic it is made of. If you care about the environment, do not buy SAMSUNG until they change this policy.

Nobody ever came back to fix the fridge. Kept getting a runaround from the technician and the company. Nobody had the courtesy to call me and tell me whats going on. Also, Samsung was of no help. This is the Chefs collection dishwasher. It washes dirty dishes very well, but it doesnt dry them very well at all. I mean there is plenty of water left on dishes after a load, and that is with the DRY+ and Sanitize options on. Many options on this unit, boost certain zones, a flex tray on the top, more than a few load options, but whats the use if your dishes are not dry. Handles a lot of dishes at one time and better organization. Stainless steel outside and inside. I should have done more research before purchasing this unit. If you have the latest technology dishwasher out there, you would expect it to perform like one. This one did not.

Two years ago I purchased a Samsung refrigerator (model #RS267TDRS). About a year after we bought it, we started to have problems with it NOT COOLING. Well needless to say, today it officially BROKE and all of our food has SPOILED. I immediately contacted Samsung and I spoke with Tiffany ** (operator #**) and Shonda ** (operator #**) of their customer service department. She told me that there is nothing that she can do to replace the refrigerator because it is out of warranty. After pleading with her that I have three small children under the age of five who need to have access to milk, juice and medication that requires refrigeration, she told me that she would schedule a service call (ticket #**). The problem is that I live in a rural part of Virginia. They wont be able to come to look at the refrigerator for a few weeks, let alone fix it on the spot or that it would be covered since it probably would be something that is not under their warranties. I need help! I cannot wait this long to get it looked at! I have already lost $500 worth of groceries and if I replace it with new food, we dont have a way to store that food. Please if someone at Samsung is reading this, take action to HELP ME. I am writing this post in hopes that someone at Samsung will see this and be able to get me a real resolution to this problem because I dont know what to do (maybe exchange for another used model or even a new one?). I currently work for the Marine Corps and we cant afford to buy another $1,500 refrigerator, especially since this one was purchased brand new 24 months ago from Lowes. I dont like dropping the we are a military family moniker, but the fact is I am a veteran who needs help. Again Samsung, please help! I am desperate since as a veteran, we dont make the type of money that most other families do. Not that any American family makes enough money to keep replacing refrigerators every two years. To be fair, I will update everyone if there is an amicable resolution to this issue.

Samsung Counter Depth Smart French Door Refrigerator - We purchased our refrigerator in February of 2017. The icemaker performs terribly. This is definitely not a family refrigerator. The icemaker does not even produce enough ice for just the two of us. Sometimes it does not produce any ice at all for no apparent reason. There are other times when it is just slow. It is simply not consistent. The best way to make sure you have ice with this refrigerator is to use ice trays. I can have 16 cubes of ice per tray in 30 minutes as opposed to waiting hours if I depend on the ice maker. I would not purchase this refrigerator again if I could go back and do this all over again.

On September 6, 2016 I was heating frozen vegetables in the plastic pouch on a microwave safe plate. When I looked up from the stove, there were flames shooting out the right side of the oven. I opened the door and threw water on them to put them out. Then I unplugged the oven. I called Samsung immediately to report this. I was told I would be contacted by a technician with 24 hours. The repair department did not call me until 2 days later and the earliest appointment available was for Wednesday, September 14. In the meantime I called the electrician to check my electrical outlets and service. Everything is up to code--prover voltage, etc. Now I am waiting for the repair tech to arrive on Wednesday. Very disappointed in this product. It was purchased the end of March this year and is even 6 months old.

We bought this dishwasher February 1 of last year and it failed February 3rd of this year - two days after the warranty expired. I am absolutely furious in part because it barely lasted 1 year and that I just mailed my last payment. Samsung support was absolutely no help other than to contact a local repair person. The repair people graciously offered me a price of $150.00 to diagnose this POS plus parts. Japanese companies used to be committed to quality but obviously not when it comes to appliances. Id love to send this unit to their corporate headquarters with a letter telling them exactly how I feel about their product. We also purchased a refrigerator at the same time and as you can imagine, Im praying its made better than their dishwashers. I now have a beautiful piece of junk. Ill be looking for a different manufacturer and will NEVER buy anything Samsung again. This is my first and LAST purchase of their products. Ive been looking at their televisions but considering this purchase I will pass. SHAME, SHAME, SHAME!!!

This induction range/oven (FTQ307NWGX/XAA) was very a very expensive piece of equipment. It looks beautiful and high end, but its a useless piece of junk now and ready for the landfill. Samsung has discontinued making two parts that we need to fix the induction cooktop. The circuit boards blew up and there are no replacement parts being made. Samsung doesnt stand behind their products. They simply told us sorry. Sorry?! That stove was over $2000 and cannot be fixed! How irresponsible of Samsung! Not only is this bad for the consumer, but its bad for the environment! I understand that things break, but the fact that there are no parts being manufactured to fix it is inexcusable. Samsung’s idea of customer service is “3 – 5 business days and someone will call you”. At this point we have been without a functioning refrigerator (I consider a refrigerator to be a basic need in this day and age) for 14 days! The specifics are below: A service tech was sent to ‘fix’ the problem one week after we first reported the problems to Samsung. The fix/part replacement (2 different parts were tried) did not correct the problem. The Tech talked with Samsung’s technical support from our home and said, My office will call you on Monday (9 days after the report to Samsung). On Wednesday (11 days after the report to Samsung) the same tech is back with a 3rd different part. Still not the answer. At this point, it is determined that we need a whole new refrigerator (current unit is only 6 months old). The Tech entered a ticket into the system AND once again it is 3 – 5 days before someone will call us. Not, 3 – 5 days and you will have a new refrigerator – NO, 3 – 5 days and someone will talk with you about what can be done. Now it has been exactly 14 days since our Samsung refrigerator has worked. Still we have not received a call from anyone from Samsung regarding the solution to our problem. This was my first Samsung refrigerator; it will be my last.

Samsung side by side refrigerator - At about 18 months, we started getting a noise in the freezer side hitting something. It would stop when we opened the door. Then we discovered water on the floor. Water had built up under the crisper so much it had nowhere else to go. The freezer would de-thaw. The refrigerator side would not stay cold. At that point we decided to call a repairperson. Then it got to a point where we decided to bite the bullet and replace the piece of garbage that we paid $1500.00. Thank God for Sears. They offered us an extended warranty even though we did not purchase the fridge from them. Since purchasing the warranty, weve had a repairperson in our home 4 times. Sears will be sorry they offered the warranty to us. We thought we were finally all set. We finally had it fixed. Guess what? Our nightmare is not over. We discovered today we have to have a repairperson come again! So again we are considering getting rid of the darn thing. We are so disgusted. Why didnt we stick with Whirlpool?

And ice forms on the back and gets so noisy we cant stay in the same room as the machine. And when the Sears repair people come to fix it all they can say is that they are not very good machines, and they dont make them liked they used to. The junk will be off the warranty soon. I think its criminal that they dont recall the machine. I cant remember the amount that was offered. I willing agreed to take the lose and wait again for another refund check that would never arrive! Then my husband got fed up with the run around/playing games. Called to check the status of the refund after several days of no response to be told that our offer had been lowered even more and was waiting approval! I dont know how many times a refund needs approval and crossed checked before an actual refund is made, but.... My husband and I purchased a white Samsung French door refrigerator (RF26XAEWP) about four years ago. Recently we are noticing that the porcelain beneath the water/ice dispenser has begun to rust. When I contacted Samsung customer service, I was told that the warranty had expired and that this was cosmetic damage and we would be responsible for the repair. I was given the phone number for the Samsung Repair Service for my area and that was it. When I expressed concern that this refrigerator was rusting after such a short period of time and that possibly the porcelain coating was improperly or inadequately applied, I was told there was nothing they could do as the appliance was no longer under warranty. So now I am going to have to pay $502.90 to replace the door. Apparently it is of no concern to them that I have to pay this, given the fact that we feel the problem was inadequate porcelain coverage in the first place. After 47 years of marriage and many refrigerator purchases (various brands), we have never experienced rust on the refrigerator. That being said, we will fix this appliance as we cannot afford to purchase a new refrigerator, but we will never purchase another Samsung appliance again. This refrigerator was purchased at Lowes in Kissimmee.

Every time we called it took them 2 weeks to come out. By November they had been out 5 times and I was demanding a replacement. Id spent 4 months hand washing all my dishes. They came out and replaced it and things seemed fine before I saw water and suds streaming out of the bottom of the dishwasher on to my hardwood floors. As it was less than 1 year, I had to call Samsung. They insisted it was out of Warranty I needed to talk to the provider of the extended service even though the receipt was dated August 16. I called them and they sent me back to Samsung, who didnt seem to have any paperwork with our dates despite the fact that they had been to our house. Ive had numerous experiences with Samsung Refrigerators, Dishwashers, etc. For one thing....their refrigerators have a known design defect which causes the evaporator coils to build up ice on them. Usually after approximately one year (after the warranty runs out) you will start hearing loud clicking/grinding noises from your freezer. This is the fan hitting the ice building up around the coils. You will then be forced to defrost the piece of junk with a hair dryer or just shut it off for 24 hours to defrost it. Samsung has known about this for years, yet it continues to produce junk appliances and will not stand behind them.

I have bought stove, fridge and washer and dryer. My fridge goes out every 20 days. Needs to be defrosted cause tubing freezes up. I have had the tubing changes in Oct and 20 days later still same problem. The fridge gets warm and I have to take everything out to defrost it. Ice maker is always froze up, stove doesnt heat up oven, washer and dryer has a recall. Ive spent 7000. on these appliances and they are all bad appliances. My stove was just 2 yr old washer and dryer 2 and my fridge 4. They say its not under warranty but it cant be fix. It has defects.

I posted a YouTube video I made about how I fixed my Samsung Microwave plagued with the dreaded 5E (SE) error. Like many other people, my Samsung Microwave started giving me an SE error a little after a year after I bought it. When I called Samsung, they told me the warranty was up and suggested I should call an appliance repair company. I followed their advice on this site and tried to repair the microwave myself by cleaning the display pad. The fix took me about 15 minutes and seems to have worked. Two weeks later, and the microwave is still working fine. Keep your fingers crossed. Some other commentators on this site have suggested that Samsung may now fix this error if you mention all the negative comments on this and similar sites. I will give Samsung another call and see if this approach works if the microwave fails again and once again I am plagued with an SE error.

Bought this fridge in April 2016 had ice maker replaced November 2016. Ice maker sheet if ice could not use was replaced. Now April 2017 ice maker iced over. Call again for service was told my warranty was expired but they would give me extension to have it replaced again. I called April 17 for service. They set the appointment for 4-28. They text me the name of company ticket number and phone number. Well of course no one showed up or called. I called Samsung repair service, was told the service center cancelled my appointment after I took the day off work. Well anyone that has dealt with Samsung knows they make you so mad you end up hanging up on them. So now to file a complaint with the BBB. As Ive seen all the complaints they cant do anything about it. Samsung should not be allowed to sell this junk.
