I like the stove, but I bought it with a divider thinking it would make two stoves which is not really working well. When you use the bottom with the top it gets too hot on the top portion. I would not recommend to spend the extra money for a divider.

Model rf26vabbp - This refrige was bought 2/2009, we had the water problems for the past few years then we finally had a repair person fix the clogged frozen water line. He actually put a wire down the tube and hooked it up so it wouldnt freeze. So far, that works. Now, our ice maker broke. We had the warranty, so now we have to get it fixed. Tried to reset but nothing. Bad fridge, I wouldnt buy any more Samsung or LG. Most expensive to fix and hard to get parts, a lot of service people wont fix them.

We bought all of the appliances for the kitchen (refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, microwave) less than 5 years ago, and thoroughly regret going with Samsung. So many of the products have broken. The refrigerator was repaired less than two years ago, and the same problem is happening again. Our dishwasher broke a few months ago, and we had to repair it as well. Both repairs were almost $500 EACH! We have broken drawers, shelves, knobs. I can go on and on with the issues we’ve had with these appliances as well as with Samsung the company, but the easiest thing to say (and most useful from this review) is to save your money and go with a quality company that specializes in kitchen appliances, not electronics.

Samsung has a known problem with their twin cooling French door refrigerator, but refuses to help to make it right. Drain tubes on these units are undersized causing the ice maker to not work and water to leak out from under their freshness trap. Weve now had two floods in our kitchen and no ice. Our appliance repair service was well aware of these problems. Our unit is 4 years old and no longer in warranty. The repair cost will be $800 to fix.

Purchased a Samsung Microwave from Lowes in December and by May it started acting up not coming on or it will work for a 2 weeks and stop again. Now here it is a month later and this time its no longer working. I called their service center to have it repaired and they have canceled 3 times. Its been 9 days that I have been without my microwave. Now they scheduled it again for Friday... 3 more days later. I will never again in life purchase anything from Lowes. And anyone out there reading this l would advise you to do the same.

We purchased the microwave on 5/2016 from Best Buy. 7/2016 microwave filter began to pop out randomly once hitting me on my chest, then buttons were pressed on their own as if we had a ghost. Fan turns its self on, the light goes on by itself, a code came on (Samsung comp said disconnect and connect again - WHAT!!!). Geek Squad came and changed the board panel, filter panel, door. Called Samsung company, they sent a tech who changed the SAME thing. The company refused to replace the microwave. Once all was replaced the microwave worked for 1 mo and began to malfunction once more. Now the microwave freezes, we can not press any button on the door, the microwave turns off as if it was unplugged plus all the other things that were wrong with the microwave.I have asked to speak with the manager and all I ever get told is the microwave will be replaced if the SAMSUNG tech recommends it. Hello they work for Samsung it will not get recommended. Well the tech came today. Recommendations replace the door again. Really. That will be the 3rd time. The stove it takes a long time igniting. I was told not to cook with flour (I do not cook with flour). The fridge the ice dispenser it is very small you are lucky if you get 4 cups with ice. Icemaker sweats and drips water inside the fridge. This was the first time we purchased Samsung appliances, and it will be the last one. I should of bought Viking/Frigidaire appliances. DO NOT PURCHASE SAMSUNG APPLIANCE. They are the worst.

This is the first dishwasher I have ever had with stainless steel inside. Is this the reason Im having problem with mold growing on my dishes? All other dishwashers I have had, left dishes in longer not rinsed that good. Never had mold grow on them. It made me so sick to see this the first time, every dish had mold growing. Good thing there wasnt that many in there. Took them out soaked in bleach. I read my book it said run it once a week, I have been. Run the dishwasher with bleach, then run it again with dishwasher detergent, without dishes. I thought it wouldnt happen again but it did. So disappointed in this dishwasher. Has anyone else had this problem? After the first time I told my husband to be sure to rinse them good. Well it did happen. Bought this dishwasher Jan. 2016, only 8 months old.

We purchased a Samsung fridge 5 years ago. It had issues with the ice maker a few times, which were repaired. Most recently, the fan was making a REALLY loud noise, Samsung came out and we were told there is now corrosion in the plug of the fan and it is not repairable. Upon contacting Samsung we have been told we need to buy a new fridge and they offered us a 20% discount. The fridge is only 5 years old, we paid over $2.5k for it and now have no option to repair it other than to replace it. I wanted to warn others, as we had choices when we were buying and chose Samsung - we are now paying for that decision, literally. Looking online and doing some research Ive now found that there is a class action for THE EXACT SAME THING in the US - the ice maker breaking causing the fan to make a loud noise and eventually stop working. Im in shock that Samsung find it acceptable to tell me to buy a new fridge after only 5 years and only give me a 25% discount... I will never buy another Samsung fridge again and I hope this warns others to do the same. So disappointed. Here is the link to some summary details of the class action: **.

This model I have was the worst engineered product that has been seen on the market. Samsungs have all the bells and whistles, great novel my useful designs but the quality is not up to the price asked. The repairman said they tried for three years to fix the ice buildup problem and finally got it right after three years. I find that I still see ice, though it has not stopped cooling but it feels like skating on thin ice and that it will break again at any given moment. JCPenney now has appliances and they are phasing out selling Samsung. The enameled on their stoves is so thin. As is the paint on the refrigerator. I wont buy this brand again. The new features are always enticing with this brand but dont fall for it. By the way read about the problems And complaints before you read the glowing reviews about any appliance and always buy the extended warranty if you cant afford a big repair bill visit. Most appliances the repair person told me appliances need a repair in 1 1/2 years to 3 years. They just dont make them like they use to. And dont think high end and huge price is also an indication of quality, it just may be a status brand.

I purchased this fridge because it was the best looking fridge on display at Lowes. I know now dont buy something based on looks. We had problems before we ever got it on. The ice maker didnt work on it as soon as we got it moved in. It was still under warranty then so they sent out a repair man to install a whole new freeze door because the ice maker is in the door. Even the repair man said they have more calls on Samsung than any other fridge. FYI, he said that Whirlpool is the best one to buy. We bought the whole kitchen set; hopefully, the rest last a little longer than the fridge. Needless to say, I will never buy Samsung again. Horrible product.

Purchased a Samsung French door refrigerator ($2,300) in late 2016 from Home Depot. From the beginning the ice maker would become encased in ice and stop working every 6-8 weeks. Had to chip away at the ice around the ice maker for it to start working again. Searched the web for this problem and apparently this is a very common problem with this model. Contacted Samsung and was told service would cost me as it was out of warranty. Tried turning refrigerator off for a few hours to defrost ice and then it would work again for a few weeks. Now the ice maker and stopped working altogether. Called Samsung again and they refused service. This is a very poorly engineered and very expensive product to have customer service denied. I have no clue WHAT caused this. I will be calling PC RICHARDS to complain.... In late 2012, I upgraded my white GE kitchen appliances with stainless steel appliances. So I purchased a Samsung stainless steel gas stove and microwave and a Whirlpool fridge from Lowes. The stove and fridge continues to operate smoothly. The microwave worked well the first year then begin to malfunction. The power would cut off in the middle of heating a meal. I would unplug the power cord then plug it back in the outlet after 10 secs to turn the power back on. I thought that it could be an issue with the power outlet or breaker. My electrician confirmed both sources were working properly. So this malfunction occurred often until recently the microwave goes out after 5 secs of running. Then I repeat the plugging and unplugging every 5 to 10 secs until the food warms up. This is frustrating because I always have to drag the tall bar stool and use it as a stepping stool to reach the power outlet inside the rear of the cabinet. Sometimes I get so fed up that I just use the oven or stove to heat up my food. I called Samsung service center today and the rep was very polite, took my model number and zip code and provided me the telephone number of the nearest service technician. I called the number and it was not in service. I called Samsung back and this time I reached a rep who was really nice but we struggled to understand each other because of our accents. I explained to him about my earlier call and that the telephone number wasnt in service. He checked and confirmed that was the only service tech listed in my area. I asked whats the alternative. I was advised that since my microwave was out of warranty that I would need to find my own repairer. I asked what is the lifespan of this model because Ive had it 3 yrs and its been malfunction most of the time. My last microwave came with the home in 2001 and still worked fine over 10 yrs later. This is unacceptable.

My fridge looks great, is relatively easy to clean, has lots of space and only a few less-than-perfect attributes: you must NOT pack stuff around the air-flow at the back of the fridge; the gasket is NOT tough enough (already cracked after 3 yrs); the plastic cover for the deli-drawer cracked! Overall, I would buy the unit again despite the 3 deficiencies detailed above. It cools well, looks great, and has lots of room.

We purchased a Samsung French-door refrigerator two years ago. After the first year, water started accumulating beneath the lower drawer and freezing, making the drawer increasingly hard to slide in/out. I have emailed Samsungs customer service department twice with specific details of the issue (model#, serial#). I have gotten zero reply except for spam marketing messages, since they now have my email address. We finally called their local authorized service (Asian-owned) and described the problem, and they immediately knew the fix -- a defective water valve on rear of refrigerator. They offered to repair it but the cost would be over $200. If this is a part that fails regularly, Samsung should issue a recall instead of sending us advertisements to buy more of their inferior-quality appliances.

Do not ever buy a Samsung appliance. Their customer service is terrible and their dishwasher works about 50% of the time. We are a household of 4 who use the dishwasher (model # DW80F600UTS/AA) once a day and load it sparingly, correctly, and with little soap. We have had a service person here 4 times since we bought it 7 months ago with an added extended warranty and they say they cannot correct the problem which is that the soap dispenser fails to open sometimes and other times opens but does not dispense the soap and other times works fine. They put in a new pump but that did not solve it. We have contacted Best Buy where we bought it. They turn us over to the appliance service they contract with. The appliance service says they cant do anything more. They turn us over to Samsung who says run it with no dishes in it and if it fails to open and dispense soap call us. But, we say, the problem exists 50% of the time, not 100%. Since we are still under factory one year warranty before the extended warranty kicks in, Samsung will charge us if they come out and cant locate a problem. We have spent hours and hours and hours on this. Would any of them be content with an appliance that fails to perform half the time?! I would also say that I will not buy anything else from Best Buy because they do not stand behind what they sell as soon as you are out the door, extended warranty or not. $801 spent on something that doesnt work right and they wont fix or replace.

I have to have a repairman to come to my house and tear it apart and physical pour hot water over the coils. Today the temperature in the refrigerator was 57 degrees. This is the third time. The repairman has said each time he repairs one about every other month. He thinks it was a design flaw. I contacted customer service about the ref but they said they know nothing about it. They lie. About 3 years ago, I bought a 4-door Samsung refrigerator, along with a new gas stove and microwave. The refrigerator started buzzing. Doing some research, I found that this is a fairly common issue. You could see ice starting to form out of the vents of the twin cooler. Repairman came out and replaced the part with a new MODIFIED part. I capitalize the word modified because if there werent any issues with the original part, then why are replacement parts being modified? Talking with Samsung, they refuse to acknowledge that there is a severe design flaw, and essentially leave their customers out to dry by making us pay to fix something because of a design flaw.Fast forward to now (only a few months after the part replacement), and it is BUZZING AGAIN!!! I am livid. Samsung, once again, is useless in assisting their customers. Do not, and I repeat, DO NOT EVER BUY A SAMSUNG REFRIGERATOR!!! Never before has my satisfaction with a company taken such a turn. I had a fabulous experience with a Samsung TV I had bought many years ago and developed a loyalty, which of course now has gone to hell in a hand basket. Shame on Samsung. Very unimpressed.

I believe the oven bake temp is correct after using the instructions in manual, but the convection oven temp is still about 25-50 degrees off. There is no way to adjust that. I filed another complaint after serviceman and just got a call from Samsung that it is my fault and there is nothing they can do. I had a problem to open the buttom drawer of the freezer section of my new refrigerator from the beginning and went back to Sears and was told to lift the drawer up more, that did not help. After month and months of trying to open that drawer I finally ripped it out and actually injured my hand. I then called the SAMSUNG company and they told me they will send somebody they work with in Valrico, Florida. I asked them if they do not have somebody familiar with this type of fridge problem closer to my home in Bradenton, Florida and I was told NO. A repairman came, unscrewed and screwed back again the FREEZER COVER DART SEAL and also told methat the digital display should be replaced. (The digital display is fine, except on the zero degree 0 there is a small piece not lit up). I removed a big amount of ice under the buttom drawer and the repair man a small part. BUT, my problem is NOT taken care of, I still cannot open the buttom drawer and ice on the back is still accumulating and for that service which did not accomplish anything I had to pay $90.I sent an e-mail to Samsung but I am still waiting to hear from them again...I will today try to call them again but I seem to get somebody overseas on the phone and they are just telling me that my warranty has run out although when I bought the refrigerator I was told I have a 5 year warranty on the appliance.

We purchased our Samsung mini split air conditioner not even 3 years ago. The first summer it was in they had to replace the communication wire so the inside unit would work. The second summer it had a leaky valve so they had to recharge it and we havent even started our third summer and the fan motor inside the head needed to be replaced. They ordered the new motor and installed it, now both circuit boards are fried. Samsung is not willing to stand behind the product and said it isnt their product, was made by someone else, even though their name is on it and passed the buck onto a third party. Said we need to schedule an onsite visit for the unit to be looked at. Samsung informed us this would take 2-3 weeks to be arranged. Considering all the issues we have had since day 1, this is not very acceptable customer service. I would not recommend this or any other Samsung items to people based on this interaction with them!

Own a French door Samsung Fridge and water accumulates and freezes at bottom of fridge. Have to empty the fridge, take back panel out and thaw out drain line which will probably freeze again shortly. Samsung service is pathetic and will NEVER buy another Samsung product as long as I live. I have since bought a TV, a tablet, two phones, a dishwasher, washer and dryer all brands other than Samsung. How a company can be so arrogant and probably successful is beyond me. I asked clerk to speak to a superior and she said that she did not report to anyone and was given email for headquarters. In mid-2015 I replaced my refrigerator with the Samsung French Door/Freezer at the bottom (Model #: RF261BEAEWW/AA-0001). Two weeks ago, we noticed the icemaker abruptly stopped working. Shortly thereafter, water accumulated under the refrigerator crisper and seeped from under the right side. Not really understanding what was going on, I just cleaned it every two to three days. Now as of three days ago, I began hearing a humming/grinding noise coming from the upper rear center on the inside of the fridge. It sounded like the fan was hitting something as its spinning. It only does it when the doors are closed and you can hear it winding down when you open the door. When you close the doors, it winds up to full speed again and the loud irritating sound returns. Now, since the icemaker stopped I turned it off yet the noise is still active. While doing an inspection, I found a build up of ice in the back of the fridge.Turning to the internet for Diagnostics and DYI Repair advice, I have come across countless of sites with hundreds of complaints warning people Samsung will not recognize their horrible flaw(s) within their product. Samsung Service Centers have you open a ticket but then tell you they apparently cant fix the issue(s). Like many here, I dont have money to freely give a technician who will in turn place a Band-Aid on the problem; only for the refrigerator to disintegrate it and I succumb to the same issues month(s) later. They built the fridge and therefore they should have the ability to successfully repair it! Samsung shouldve just stuck with manufacturing electronics. I believed in their products until now. I, for one, will not be buying any of their major appliances anymore. Since they refuse to issue a recall notice on their clearly defected product I would like more information as to where and how to add my name to the lawsuit against them.

The white finish on our 2 1/2 yr old refridge started blistering near the ice/water dispenser. It has been dry there the whole time. This has now been going on for several months. Now there are black spots in the blistering. I have taken photos and emailed them to Samsung. Samsung has refused to pay the approx $600 for a new door. They claim its cosmetic. When this same machine was less than a year, the panel on the dispenser went out and was replaced under warranty. All in all, were very unhappy with the fridge and even more unhappy with Samsungs response. I would never recommend Samsung and would never buy another product from them. Attached is one of the early photos. Its worse now.

My Samsung refrigerator is a a few years old and has had the same problems. I had problems with the leak/icing up under the drink pull out tray also. Now, the power went off in our neighborhood and when it came back on, the control panel only shows 86 88 and it doesnt respond to touch. The door has started to rust below the ice dispenser due to moisture from the small catch tray. This is not my first Samsung appliance either. I threw away a washer & dryer set I bought that had multiple problems after one year. I too will not purchase any appliances from Samsung. The TVs seem to be working fine. I have two Samsung flat panels. I replaced all of my appliances with Maytag and eliminated all my problems.

I have had issues with my icemaker since the day the warranty expired. Note that we are only talking a 1 year warranty! The on-line blogs all indicate that Samsung knows they made a poor quality product. I have a home appliance repair service that I pay a monthly fee for and they also acknowledge that people are having problems with the Samsung refrigerators all over the metro where I live. When I call into Samsung to have them do the right thing and replace a $110 part they simply indicate that the product is out of warranty. If you dont want to end up in my frustrated shoes dont ever buy a Samsung refrigerator.

From day one this stove (bought Feb 2016) would not work properly with my new Demeyere induction cookware. The large 11 inch sauté pan works on all elements except the big one. All of my smaller pans work on ALL the elements. This pan works on other induction tops and 3 professional chefs I have talked to say they do not even need to look at the pans (they are arguably one of the best you can buy). Yet Samsung says its not their stove and there is nothing they will do. But wait, it gets better. They cant even recommend what cookware is good enough for their stove. Stick to TVs Samsung.

Even by todays standards - where risk for product reliability is forced onto consumers who must then buy extended warranties - this fridge is terrible. It makes god-awful noise twice a day that you can hear all over the house. I called BrandsMart three days in to complain and they said thats just how it sounds, too bad for me. I will not buy a Samsung anything ever again - and certainly not from BrandsMart. Service on this through extended warranty has been horrible. They use attractive designs to help them sell substandard product and poor Service. Then sales people abet by telling you they are great fridges. I cant count how many complaints I have now read. This was the Bottom Freezer refrigerator, Black.

Purchased a whole house full of new Samsung top of the line appliances Dec 2017. I’ll keep this review for the refrigerator only. The Smart Hub apps do. It work half the time and you have to keep signing in to them. The ring door bell as well doesn’t work because it will log you. My main people is with the ice maker. It broke the first month and for the next 4 months after I had it either repaired or the ice maker replaced numerous times. They finally just replaced the refrigerator. The new replacement the ice maker froze up and quit working 12 months later. The ice dispenser is junk because the crushed ice is so slow and will drop large chunk a out as well. This was a major mistake to go with Samsung.

We paid $2700 for a Samsung refrigerator with an extended five year warranty. A few months after the warranty ran out, the compressor died. For $95, Samsung’s repairman recommended buying a new refrigerator rather than paying over $1000 for the repair. Samsung Support recommended finding an unauthorized repairman that might do the repair at a lower price. Meanwhile, we are using our 29 year old Hotpoint refrigerator that we have in our garage.

I purchased a Samsung refrigerator ( Model RF266AERS ) just over three year
I purchased a Samsung refrigerator ( Model RF266AERS ) just over three years ago. Within the first three months the refrigerator started making a loud vibrating noise. The manual suggested unplugging and replugging the unit to reset it, so it did and it was successful at times. I hadnt bought a refrigerator in over 25 years so I also just assumed the newer ones were a bit louder than the old ones. The next thing I noticed was that the refrigerator temperature seemed to fluctuate which was indicated by a beeping noise and the digital display changing whenever the temperature changed from the programmed temp. Again I unplugged the refrigerator as the manual suggested so that it [may reset itself.] Each time I unplugged and replugged the refrigerator the beeping fluctuating temperature indicator would stop. The frequency at which the beeping would occur became more frequent (one month apart). Today as I type this letter the beeping is almost non stop, to the point that my wife and i have to close off the kitchen doors so that we may sleep at night. There are countless other things we have experienced with the refrigerator over the past three years including random defrosts where we will notice all our frozen food has been thawed. Another problem has been water gathering under the crisper bins and frost in the back of our refrigerator. We have adhered to all the manufacturers suggestions and direct, but we can not get a consistent satisfactory service from our refrigerator and truly believe it is a manufactured lemon and defective by design. We are further discouraged from spending money to have a repair person look at it as there are hundreds of similar complaints online for our model and similar models within that line and timeline. A consensus of the complaints we read mainly tell the story of how people spent hundreds of dollars in repair only to have issue reappear within weeks. We are very disappointed and frustrated. We are hopeful that we can be a part of a lawsuit to recoup at least some of our money back to purchase a new refrigerator. I have contacted Samsung, but have not heard back from them yet.

Lets start with a Samsung refrigerator, model RF260BEAEBC/AA, that had a failed ice maker in first six weeks. After working with Samsung call center to do troubleshooting, no change. Now with outsourced service company, USSI, who can be reached for updates through a toll number, not even a toll-free 800 number. Company has not vested interest in Samsung product quality, as they service other brands also. We will be without ice maker for nine days before the hoped-for Monday call from service to schedule a service visit. I can tell you, the USSI call center rep was about as cool and indifferent to my problem and the delays as you can get. My refrigerator (Samsung RF24FSEDBSR) has a unusual noise coming from the back. The only way to stop the noise is to unplug the unit for 24 hours and let it defrost (really a refrigerator without a defrost cycle). I have seen where ice builds up and the fan is actually hitting against the ice and thats what causes the noise. The 2nd issue is the ice maker, or rather the lack of ice making. The ice maker is always dropping water into the drip tray, and the tray stays full. When you dispense ice the ice is wet and usually a bunch of crumbles VS solid cubes. We called Samsung and went to Frys where we bought the unit and all they say is that its a common problem, then said check the gasket/seal on the door that lines up with the ice chute, and is the chute door closing all the way. Both worked as they should but we still have water dripping.

Range is 5 months old. Will not hold temp that it is set at. Set at 350 inside thermometer shows after oven is open temp drops. I have been told that no more parts can be replaced. Technician replaced all parts already. Company told technician to tell me to figure out what temp I want to bake at and adjust temp to that temp. It starts out at 380 per the technicians meter when stove is set to bake at 350. Last technician told me to cook one tray cookies at a time because when I pilot in 2 trays, that is making temp drop because heat cant circulate properly with 2 trays and that is why heat temp drops. WHAT? I have been baking for 40 years and have ways been able to bake 2 trays at one time. Sure temp will drop a few degrees when you open oven but I have to shut oven off in order to preheat it each time I open the door to get it to come back to the temp I set. I see all these problems people are having with fires and I am scared to death. I want it fixed right or would appreciate if Lowes would give me credit to get a different make. I will never buy another Samsung product. I did call federal trade commissioner office to give my complaint. Maybe if everyone else called and voiced their complaint, maybe Samsung would have to be responsible and fix these issues.

I replaced 15-year old Sears Kenmore appliances with what I believed to be top of the line Samsung appliances. Boy, did I learn a lesson. Problem number 1: the oven dead shorted a heating element. We had a service man out for the repair. He didn’t have the parts. Evidently, Samsung replacement parts are not well stocked or easy to get. We made our own repairs. Problem number 2: the refrigerator ($2700 French door, freezer below) started leaking water under the deli tray and freezing. This appliance has a service plan and the service tech was contacted. It took two weeks to get the part, which was shipped in to our house from California. He made the repairs. The problem was solved for a while.Six months later there is water in the same location. Problem number 3: microwave door handle broke off at the mount. Cheap plastic connection between metal and plastic. Then the key pad started dead shorting and shutting down the breaker. The problem only occurs when you set time and run machine. It doesn’t occur when the preset buttons are utilized. Samsung appliances all less than 2 years old all have problems. The replacement parts are scarce to find except online. All the service techs I spoke with spoke very poorly about Samsung appliances in general. I am completely done with Samsung forever. I just had to replace our 15-year old Kenmore dishwasher. I didn’t even consider Samsung even though it would match our other appliances. I am only going to buy American made appliances in the future. They may not be as high tech or fancy looking, but they work and last and you can get replacement parts. 3 Samsung appliances, 3 bad experiences, 3 strikes--you’re out.

We bought a Samsung gas stove about 2 years ago for about $1200. Today we found out that we will have a nearly $300 repair bill for a new igniter in the oven. It seems that because we used the oven every day one or two times, the igniter was burned out. This is just incomprehensible to us! I also dont like the burners on top of the stove. Two are large burners with lots of BTUs. Both, one more than the other, send flames around even the biggest pot I own. (Think huge stock pot and a large 12 frying pan.) What good are BTUs if you always have the burner on slightly over medium even to heat water for pasta. This stove is very attractive, BUT it is all show and no go!

We purchased a new Samsung refrigerator with a bottom freezer. Not long after the installation, we noticed ice buildup in the refrigerator on the right side. We had recently had a power outage in our area and thought that may have caused the ice. We cleaned the ice off, but the ice continued to build. We called service and they came out and made an adjustment to the freezer drawer. We again called service and this technician replaced the drawer slides of the freezer. That seemed to have worked for a while. We now have ice buildup again and our refrigerator is no longer under warranty. I called Samsung directly and they will do nothing. I purchased Samsung Microwave SMH9207ST which comes with a 1 year warranty. The microwave was manufactured in February 2011, very moderately used, and owned for approximately 2.5 years. At 15 months, an internal piece of the handle broke, not allowing the door to close. I contacted Samsung who referred me to a repairman. For a repairman to assess the problem, order the parts needed, and install would have cost over $125 plus having to take time off of work without pay. I was able to quickly assess the problem, order 2 plastic interior door pieces (one extra) for $12 with shipping and reassemble the microwave in about 3 minutes. After 2.5 years the microwave completely stopped while cooking. I am very extremely disappointed in the quality of this product. I also own a Samsung Jr, manufactured in 1999, which has been used far more, even brought tent-camping and trips, and it is still working fine. I am now very reluctant to purchase a Samsung product. I plan to take this microwave apart to attempt to diagnosis the problem myself. In the meantime, I will continue to use the Samsung Jr until I have the resources to purchase a new microwave.

Two year ago I purchased a Samsung $2100 refrigerator and a Samsung $599, 2.1 cu ft microwave and a Samsung $699 dishwasher from Lowes, top of the line on all but the refrigerator. To date the dishwasher never heated the water - my dishes are always dirty and I have to hand wash most right after I take them out. The only heat is when I push the sanitize button; otherwise the water is cold (yes, I checked to see if there is a line from the hot water side of my system). For the refrigerator, the water filter required replacement 2 months after I purchased it and the ice button gets stuck and continues to dispense ice, even after I remove the glass. THE MICROWAVE IS MY LATEST CASUALTY. Last night, it went to an E5 error code, basically indicating that steam from the stove had destroyed the membrane keypad. THEN WHY IS IT MADE TO BE INSTALLED OVER A STOVE? I would not buy Samsung again unless it was the only appliance in the world. I got no support from Lowe’s, since they were out of warranty. Now I will go and buy new appliances and they will be basic, simple ones. My Kenmore stuff lasted over 10 years. I just replaced them because I want top-of-the-line - well $3400 divided by 24 months means I paid $142 per month simply for the privilege of owning a Samsung. Never again.

I bought a Samsung oven range microwave from Lowe’s about 6 months ago. The price was about $350. It almost burnt my kitchen down last night. Started making a sparking sound and then smoke came out. Smelled terrible. It’s dead now. Completely burnt up inside. Useless $350 appliance. Dont buy one.

When we were hit with the dreaded SE, Samsung finally agreed to fix my microwave even though it was a couple weeks out of warranty. About 6 months later, the microwave completely shut down. After many calls to Samsung, they said they would fix it if it was the SE problem again but we would need to pay the technician if it was anything else. Ive been without a microwave for over 3 months trying to resolve this. Is there a class action suit filed yet?

Samsung Refrigerator RF28HFEDBBC/AA- This refrigerator has problems with the ice maker. Ice builds up on the interior of the ice maker and has to be cleared at least once a month. The ice comes out wet and the dispenser in the door leaks water continuously. There is also a problem with water leaking into the bottom of the refrigerator and then freezing so you cannot easily pull out your meat drawer. Samsung claims no issues with the unit but from what I see on the internet that is not accurate.Attached is their response: Thank you for contacting Samsung. I see that the ice maker is not freezing, and ice builds up at the top of the unit and cubes come out wet. Also, the water is leaking and filling the reservoir in the door. I know how bothering this issue could be. Samsung does strive to produce quality products and provide best service. However, your experience doesnt reflect this. Samsung products are designed by dedicated and skilled engineers after extensive technical research. We dont have any reported issues with this refrigerator model. Its disheartening to know that you are experiencing these issues. We dont like to see our customers unhappy or inconvenienced; however, Samsung provides 12 months of warranty from the date of purchase. If your refrigerator is out of warranty, you have to pay for the service.A service request was filed for this issue and it was cancelled, as there was no service center available in your area. Since your refrigerator is out of warranty, you may get it repaired locally at your discretion. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused. This is what I received from them. Interesting fact I already had the ice maker looked at during warranty and there is a service center in my area. So they dont support the product and dont know who they have in the area to repair the product. Do not buy Samsung refrigerators. No support.

This refrigerator is only 3 years old but nothing but problems I have talked to them numbers of times to replace it or recall them but they do nothing. It continues to freeze up inside interior cabinet and has to be taken apart to melt the ice from mechanical parts to be able to keep it working. It also freezes in Ice maker and has to be defrosted with a hairdryer. The ice maker has replaced 2 times and the freezer door broke and that cost me over 500$ to replace. All they will discuss tell me to call service to repair at my cost. This was a 3000$ refrigerator and a French door model. I have reported it BBB but that didnt gain anything. I just consider it junk.

In 2010 our old dishwasher refused its duty after nearly 10 years of work. It was an AEG/Whirlpool and it made his work properly. So my wife and I decided to buy a new one. At last we gave the Samsung DW-SG720T a try and expected the same performance. First both of us discovered that nearly every dish was not clean at all. We changed the program to the hottest possible cleaning, but the machine did not meet the minimum requirements for cleaning knifes that are simply covered with peanut butter. This night (!) the machines front door stood open, after cleaning and after nearly 5 (five) hours ending the cleaning program without errors, the machine started to turn on the pump and made a signal while showing OE. My wife and I woke up, got downstairs in the kitchen and I had to turn off the fuse to stop it - it has been 1:20 am in the morning. Thanks a lot, Samsung! OE means overflow error but in fact there is no water in the machine after draining. I am angry about this piece of **. My recommendation is: Samsung? Hands off! I am interested in what the support is trying to tell me. Next time: AEG/Whirlpool, which is the same here in Germany.

We bought this refrigerator brand new in May 2012. In Jan 2015 we had to replace the evaporator as water was draining into our shelves and crystallizing. In March 2017 we again had to change the evaporator fan and the freezer ice maker. Again the evaporator fan broke and the freezer ice maker just quit making ice. Even with senior discount for appliance repairs our repair bill for this less than 5 year old fridge is already over $1000-. Never again will I buy a Samsung product.

Pros: very quiet, cleans and dries well, utensil rack is wonderful. Cons: the planets have to align in order for the buttons to work. They even mention this in the manual, after 2 weeks the “guides” for the utensil rack started breaking, in 4 weeks we received an LC error and the drain pump kept running, we would power it off and it would turn itself back on (which was interesting since half of the time we couldn’t power it on due to button issue). We had to shut off the circuit breaker. The error was for a water leak. My husband started looking at reviews and apparently this is a widespread issue. The design for draining is flawed and any moisture will cause this error. We are exchanging it. Best Buy was gracious and one of the sales people said that we were not the first to return this appliance. I was so disappointed because in the first week I really liked its performance. We are waiting for the replacement so I am currently using my high priced dishwasher as a draining rack as I wash my dishes by hand.

Very good fridge/freezer except that it has expensive water filters and since purchase, the water was not draining properly and evaporating in the drip pan. Water turns to ice until it fills up toward the front of the fridge and then overflows out the front and onto the kitchen floor. Samsung seems to accept no responsibility for this very common flaw with the side by side fridge with bottom drawer freezer. All over Youtube but requires disassembling back portion of fridge to fix drain clogging. Not sure if it is a final fix for the problem.

In Oct. of 2014 we went to P.C. Richards to buy kitchen appliances. The salesman we had told us how great Samsung is. He went on to say that he has the exact appliances and his wife loves them. It was the biggest mistake of our life. Lesson we learned not to buy what the salesman suggest you buy. Okay here is what happen. We bought a French door Refrigerator which the ice maker stopped working but I went on YouTube to fix it and it worked. The seal on the door keeps getting ripped from opening and closing. My stove keeps burning my food and pans and I have it on the lowest setting. I cannot leave my stove running if I go out. My oven took a long time to cook. They came out twice to fix it. The heat element wasn’t working right so they changed it. When the man fixed the element he leaned on the oven door which then bent it. My microwave oven turned itself on and the light came on. We went out and when we get home the microwave oven which is also a conventional oven was reading 350 degrees. No one turned it on because no one was home. Three days after the warranty expired the microwave died. Now my dishwasher which is the only item left under warranty is not washing my dishes properly and my dishes are wet when it’s done. I always bought cheap appliances and they lasted a very long time. We feel since we bought more expensive appliances they would last longer.Samsung is a very lousy company. I called Samsung about their products and they said I would have to pay for the tech to come out and fix the products. They didn’t want to know anything or take responsibility for their products. For $8,600.00 the product should have lasted longer than our cheap ones. We also bought a 65” Samsung TV. We had to have that fixed. If it was just us having these problems is one thing but the company knows the problems they have with their products but they turn their head and ignore the problem and keep selling faulty products. There are many complaints about their products. All the complaints all have the same problems. Why doesn’t the government do something about this company. We are on Social Security and can’t go out and buy new appliances let alone losing what we paid for the Samsung appliances $8,600.00 plus the warranties. I hope someone starts a class action suit against Samsung for selling defective items and not making good for them. One other thing I forgot to say, when we got our stove and my husband opened the box. The glass on the stove was busted into pieces and the part on top was all bent. We should have stopped there and sent all the appliances back.

Owned Samsung fridge 2 1/2 yrs., water leaked into both produce drawers for some time. After much research, it appeared this is common and not worth the repair attempt so Ive lived with it. Freezer appeared to thaw and refreeze slightly since purchase, does not open adequately, and now has defrosted completely. All food is a loss, doubt I will be able to find anyone who will even agree to work on it. Junk, junk, junk. Period. I would give a negative rating if possible.

The water problem is a very easy fix..... buy an external water filter and plum it in in line either behind the unit or where the unit gets its supply of water. TAAADAAA remove the filter and it will now be in bypass, but the water is filtered before it gets to the fridge...... ONE other GREAT feature, the filters are 10 to 20 dollars as apposed to $70.00++ for each Samsung replacement filter. The filter assy (first filter is included) and reducer hardware to install is still less than the Samsung replacement filter. Just remember to buy the charcoal filter for taste and sediment. AS for the rest of the unit it is as already stated...... junk and service is an empty promise. After all they got your money..... so go away.

Well, here are my 2 cents worth - we also had our almost 2-year-old Samsung microwave SMH9187B start turning on by itself (baked potato feature). This has got to be a safety issue! Then, more and more, we got the SE showing up on the display. My husband managed to fix it a few times by taking the control panel apart and trying to protect it from what he figured was happening - oxidization of contacts whenever steam from the oven/ stove below got into it or maybe even if it got quite steamy inside the microwave. Now its definitely dead, though, and when he spent an hour on the phone to Samsung, they acted as if it was a problem theyd never heard of before and refused to do anything about it. I cant believe theyd ignore so many people with the same defective microwave.

Once the item is sold, Lowes refers all responsibility to their (I quote) We have contacted Service Advantage with this issue. A&E Factory Service is the service provider and will be contacting you for a resolution within 5-7 days. Today is the 7th day and no response. We have had 7-8 service calls on this refrigerator 7 for the same problem. When we called for service the second time, Lowes informed us that the Service technician would determine whether or not the service call is covered under the warranty, this made us hesitant to keep calling on the same problem. We still have no ice and only promises from Lowes that Service Advantage would contact us. (Isnt that similar to asking the fox to check the hen house to see if any chickens are missing?) We contacted Service Advantage 8 times, repairs made 8 times, nothing worked. We were told by Lowes store manager that after 7 calls on the same problem the item would be declared a lemon. Samsung Refrigerators are beautiful to look at, but are totally unreliable and everyone that you talk to that owns one says they have problems with the ice maker.

Purchased a 4 piece Samsung Appliance Package. Initially, after 6 months, I gave them a 5 star review. Still, after 4 years, every appliance has performed above my expectations. BUT... buyer beware... DO NOT purchase appliances with the black stainless finish. The finish on my oven door is peeling off... looks hideous. I purchased the extended 5 year warranty, but cosmetic defects are NOT covered. I have to purchase a $317.00 (plus) replacement oven door. Why would a company that makes quality appliances not cover a factory defective finish and ruin their reputation? Very disappointed. Spent hours with customer service to no avail.

I will likely never purchase Samsung home appliances as they have been unreliable, service technicians do not recommend, and my dealings with the manufacturer have been severely delayed, unresponsive, and unhelpful. I purchased my home 3 years ago in which the investor renovated inclusive of purchasing new home appliances. In 2020 my fridge went out, within the warranty timeframe. For 4 weeks, Samsung could not get a tech to come and service my refrigerator so they decided to provide me with a refund. I was never verbally informed by the manager to keep my fridge. I sent in my documentation and was told after my fridge was hauled away that I was supposed to keep the fridge. Customer support has been horrible, for months Ive tried resolving this issue. Samsung is not honoring the refund and I am out a grand as I replaced the appliance out of my personal funds. Ill never buy Samsung and will definitely tell my networks and other real estate constituents to stay away from these home appliances.

We purchased a Samsung refrigerator model RF28HFEDTSR/AA - what a mistake!
We purchased a Samsung refrigerator model RF28HFEDTSR/AA - what a mistake! Like other consumers, we have had terrible problems with it - problems that are typical and that Samsung does not stand behind. This particular model has an ice maker in the freezer (bottom drawer) and an ice maker in the top (refrigerator door location) where the ice and water are dispensed. The top ice maker freezes up and has to be thawed out constantly and water drips out of the dispenser, itself. This is a common problem and a class action lawsuit has been filed - as Samsung has refused to take responsibility and address the well-known issues! In addition, the plastic shelves crack - for no reason - obviously a defect in the type of plastic that is used in manufacturing the shelves. This is another problem that has been frequently noted by consumers - yet, Samsung refuses to take responsibility. I have many Samsung products in my house - cell phones, televisions, sound bars, etc. I am very disappointed in this refrigerator, and especially in the lack of customer service by Samsung. I will think long and hard before I purchase any other Samsung products. When we first began having the freezing problem, I read on the internet how many others were having the same issue. I contacted Samsung and got nowhere at all. After being tired of constantly having to take a hair dryer and chip away the ice - I called a service to fix it - and they said there really was no fix. I had someone look at it today - and all they could do was what I had been doing - and charged me $80. They did find out that Samsung had managed to develop a fix for the problem and it would cost me between 400 and 600 dollars to do it. The service man and I both agreed that I might as well purchase a new refrigerator. This one is only 3 years old! It began having issues - of course - after the warranty period had ended. Please tell everyone not to buy Samsung appliances!

I have model RF263BEAESR and the noises sometimes make me jump out of bed! I see after reading many reviews here, that so many people have this same problem. Service is coming out again to fix it, but the fix lasts a week, so what good is that? I bought it from Best Buy with all the rest of the appliances. We bought a Samsung refrigerator - French doors with freezer drawer on bottom model #RF217ACWP-XAA - in July 2012. What a MISTAKE! It was not even one year old, and the fridge wasnt cooling, the freezer was defrosting, over one inch of water was accumulating in both crisper drawers, and the ice maker stopped working. The fan built up with ice and would make a loud noise until it would freeze up solid. This is happening again for the FOURTH time since 2013! Three different repairmen have been here to fix the problems, and each one found low freon due to leakage. The last repairman who was here said the leaks are due to manufacturer defects, as there were faulty welds in the solder joints in the back of the sealed systems unit. Samsung has not been willing to replace the fridge or refund our purchase price. They refuse to acknowledge that they are selling defective merchandise to consumers. I will NEVER buy another Samsung product, and I advise others to do the same. If there is not a class action suit pending against Samsung, then there should be. Im fed up with their companys poor customer service and blatant disregard for consumers complaints!
