We got a Samsung microwave in 11/30/2013 and by June of 2014 first, the vent fan would come on when no one was home. So we call the repair line and they came out and change out parts. Then one month later, in July 15, 2014 did the same thing and when you turn it on, would get a SE and cut off. When the repair man call me to come out (without looking at it) and clear my schedule, said, I will order parts and then come out, so that means I need to wait again to see if he show up then.

Well, here are my 2 cents worth - we also had our almost 2-year-old Samsung microwave SMH9187B start turning on by itself (baked potato feature). This has got to be a safety issue! Then, more and more, we got the SE showing up on the display. My husband managed to fix it a few times by taking the control panel apart and trying to protect it from what he figured was happening - oxidization of contacts whenever steam from the oven/ stove below got into it or maybe even if it got quite steamy inside the microwave. Now its definitely dead, though, and when he spent an hour on the phone to Samsung, they acted as if it was a problem theyd never heard of before and refused to do anything about it. I cant believe theyd ignore so many people with the same defective microwave.

Weve always loved Samsung products but this refrigerator is a real lemon. The ice maker freezes up every couple of months and we have to use the blow dryer to get rid of the ice buildup. Now the refrigerator wont stay cold. Repairman says it needs a new evaporator. Price to repair ice maker and replace evaporator: $954. Took 8 days to get a Samsung certified tech out to evaluate. Language barrier with phone help desk technician was frustrating. I learned that Samsung, if you have to call them, is not enthusiastic about backing up their products. At least not their refrigerators.

We purchased our refrigerator in August 2014 and then it started rusting on the outside. I called and of course still under warranty but I was told the warranty didnt cover cosmetic problems. Then the refrigerator started making a lot of loud noises. I called and they sent out a service person who clearly stated this was due to poor manufacturing. He packed an oversized opening in the rear of the inside. Less than 30 days the same thing except the warranty was expired. Piece of junk.

We are having the repairman in on Monday because for the second time in 2 year our Samsung fridge is freezing lettuce and cheese. Yogurt is turning moldy even though there is still 3 weeks left till expiry. When the fridge works it’s great. When this happens it makes me nervous. We do not have an ice maker and I often wonder if it thinks there is one because it makes this strange clunky noises. Last time this happened we had to unplug the fridge so it could thaw out so they could change a part. I sure hope we don’t have to do this again. We only have 1 fridge so it does cause a bit of an inconvenience. My main problem is that we are losing food. This should not happen.

I bought all Samsung appl. when we built but Im having second thoughts... the refrigerator (side by side with water ice on outside) is not all worth the $$. The size gets cramped inside without a lot of shelving room and the outside ice dispenser always clogs and you stand there for minutes until the big globs of crushed ice falls out because if you dont get it out when you open the fridge door it all falls on the floor. We use the full cube but when clogged it crushes inside. The lower freezer is great... very roomy and stores more than avg. I would explore other brands.

I paid well over $2000 for a Samsung French Door refrigerator just about 4 years ago, and it has given me nothing but problems. I had issue with the door, seals around the freezer, the ice maker, finally the motor that cools the refrigerator. I am making a promise to myself that I will never ever buy another piece of appliance from Samsung, and will convince any of my family and friends to not buy that brand either. I hope they go out of business soon. They should not be allowed to sell their kinks to consumers and scamming thousands of dollars from families.

I bought a Samsung range (model # FE R300SXIX AA) a little over 3 years ago
I bought a Samsung range (model # FE R300SXIX AA) a little over 3 years ago. During the Easter weekend of 2018, I tried to bake a cake. The cake did not get done. The oven did not reach the correct temperature. I called Samsung and a technician was sent to my home within a few days. He could not find anything wrong with the oven. The visit cost $125. I tried to bake something else and it did not get done. I called Samsung again and another technician came to my home. He stated the oven temperature was 100 degrees off the target temperature. He replaced a part and tried the temperature reading again. The temperature was still off the target. The technician said the oven needed a part he did not have with him. Another appointment was made for him to return with the other part. The technician returned several days later with the other part. He replaced the part and said try the oven again because he thought it was repaired. This cost was another $175. After the technician left, I tried baking something again but it did not get done. I called Samsung again and the representative said there was nothing they could do because the warranty had expired. In order to get a partial refund for the range, the technician would have to state the oven was unfixable. I called the technicians office to make an appointment. An appointment was made for him to return a few days later. The technician called my home and stated to my husband he does not know the cause of the problem with the oven but he could return and try several things to repair it. Each thing he tried could cost up to $500 or more. Whats the use of a repair service when they are working in the blind and costing you a lot of money trying different things. I will never buy another Samsung electric range again. The Service and reliability are very unsatisfactory.

Bought this refrigerator (RFG237) a year and a half ago. Had to replace an electronic component within the first 6 months, it was not cooling the frig part, but it was covered under warranty, no cost. Now the back of the frig is frozen, the interior shell is cracked and melted. I have to have the cover replace, the crack filled with something, and a thermostat replaced. Of course its out of warranty and will cost me $250 to fix. This has the making of a real lemon. I called Samsung and they gave me a run around. I will never buy another product of any kind from this company and I will tell all my friends of my experience.

We have had this fridge for almost 18 months. We bought it from Best Buy along with a 5-year warranty. When Best Buy delivered it all 3 doors had massive dents in them. They brought new ones within a few days. The ice maker has spewed ice chips no matter what size/shape the glass you use or where you hold it under the dispenser, ice goes all over the floor. The ice maker makes so much noise in the process of making ice that it makes a crashing sound. The right side door doesnt stay open!!! The wonderful techs at Best Buy have been out at least 5 times to repair both, along with sending new parts, etc. and it is just the same as before they tried anything new. This is a defective appliance and NO ON CARES!!! The go through the motions to honor the warranty and now there is nothing they can do. Samsung is even more worthless. How can two large companies be allowed to continually rip people off with products and services that dont work properly? Are there longer morals and truth in business? Who do we have to stand up for all of us collectively? Where is accountability?

I thought the oven/range would be really good because Samsung is well known brand- for keyboards. Oven light stopped working in less than a month, followed by the convection fan. Most recently I discovered the “Samsung” etched on the stove was actually stickers that wiped off one by one as I cleaned. Oh and the indicator light that lets you know the stovetop is hot, sunk into the panel and I can’t retrieve it. The oven cooks unevenly, but the range cooks well. No complaints about the stovetop really.

This model (freezer on the bottom, drawer) cost $1250 three years ago. It has always had a problem with water leaking from somewhere in the back to the vegetable drawers. It has been repaired five times, but the problem keeps recurring every 4-5 months. I had to get this model because it was the only size that would fit through my door and also had the freezer on the bottom, but I would not recommend Samsung. Bought all new appliances Samsung post flood 2011, installed 11/11. Dishwasher brackets break off after 2 years and ruined the pump. And gas slide in convection oven ignitor switch was replaced twice in 7 month period of time. Paid lots of money for these appliances and their junk and I had to replace them. Poor products and Ill advise anyone who will listen not to buy them. I bought an extended warranty from Best Buy for 2 years and mine was finished when this happened. I want to start this by saying please buy something else. I bought the model # dw80j7550ug and I wish I never did. This thing has a dry feature on it and guess what? It doesnt dry. Ive been on the phone with Samsung a number of times and they tell me that its highly recommended to use a dish washing aid. I dont understand why must I use an aid to dry my dishes. They say it helps to repel water but wait I thought the water is what helps wash the dishes? It gets better, they also said to open it when its done to allow to dry. So now I have to either wait for it to get done not drying my dishes or Ill have to come home to open my dishwasher so that way my dishes dont smell like mildew. Thanks Samsung for such a nice product that doesnt do what it says it will do. It also doesnt have it anywhere on the box or user manual saying you need to babysit your dishwasher. Also, buy some new dish drying towels because our dishwasher that you just bought for over $700 doesnt dry dishes. Samsung lost a long time buyer and supporter. Ill never buy another Samsung product!!

I have a Samsung model RF28HDEDBSR/AA, serial #06EC43AFB01664x purchased from Best Buy. It has nothing to do with them though. Samsung is the problem... We just finished paying the darn refrigerator off... THANK GOD I have a service contract with a home warranty company since the ice maker is poorly designed! So far we have had 4 repairs, 2 replacements of the ice maker unit, special sealant added all around the unit and STILL, the ice comes out slushy and the unit leaks water constantly. I contacted Samsung and, much like all the other complaints I have read, I was told how sorry they were, but that since my unit is over their warranty, nothing could be done. She was willing to contact a repair person though everything is on me from there. Again, THANK GOD I have the home warranty...The Samsung representative stated they had no recalls nor were aware of any issues... I wonder if they check sites like this! We LOVE the unit since it is 28 cubic feet of great space. The fatal flaw is the ice-maker and I would tell anyone looking to not buy it unless you dont mind constant pulling of the ice machine unit to remove ice build-up or put up with constant calls for repairs...

NewSamsung Dishwasher Model DW80F600UTS lots of different issues. From Day 1 hasnt worked properly. Steam vent under front of door wasnt shutting off, so water would leak out the front. HEAVY light started blinking, and pump wouldnt turn off, power wouldnt turn off, either. Had to turn off at breaker. Dried out the flood pan and sensor, and saw moisture on the water intake hose coupling, so tightened that. That helped for a week, then it went off again. Seems to be leaking out of tub, not hose. Luckily, still under warranty so service is coming in a few days.SERVICE: Parts take 10 days!! So the repair guy comes, figures out what is wrong, then has to order the part and come again. It can be 2 weeks before you can use your new dishwasher again! When I talk to the service company (that is not Samsung, but certified to do their repairs), they make it sound like they know exactly what the problem is before they come out - leading me to believe they had a lot of this problem!! Never will buy a Samsung appliance again! Wish I had come here first to read the complaints.

We ordered a new Samsung dishwasher from AJ Madison. We ordered it, received it on 11/28/12. My husband installed it that night. The next evening, I loaded it, ran it and opened it. Soap was never released. I ran it again, and it was the same thing. The little door never popped open to release soap. I called the next morning. The girl from Samsung didnt really know why but theres a sensor & if its blocked, maybe it would not be released (she couldnt tell me where sensor was located). Now, its Sunday, 12/2/12. I ran it again, making sure there was nothing too tall or blocking - same thing. I called & a service call must be set up. This lady said the other person lied - there is no sensor, only for water level. She gave me the name of the service company & number. They would call the next day. The guy left his name & number. I tried several times to call him & the service company (the phone rings continuously & I cant leave voice mail). I called Samsung again - a lengthy call. It turns out its not that company. Its a different one. Dont you think I should be told this? They have my number, & I was told I should call them to set it up. We set up for Saturday. AJ Madison called & said they dont have a repair company that works on Saturdays & I had one for Monday. No one told me about that. Monday was not good for me. We called Samsung up . Well, we had to argue, of course, but some nice guy came on Saturday, 12/8/12, and said, The part is broken; it needs to be ordered & replaced (he doesnt have it in truck). When the part comes in, someone will come back & replace it. I ordered a new dishwasher - not a floor model, clearance center, or scratch & dent. Many, many, many phone calls to both Samsung (who is giving us the runaround) and AJ Madison (who is giving us the runaround) have left us with a broken new Samsung dishwasher which has only been used 3x and is broken from the start. I ordered this & think I should have some right to getting one that works the first time correctly (not broken). Im still washing by hand. Furthermore, we have offered AJ Madison to take it back & we are willing to spend more money w/ them & get something else (my husband is even willing to bring it to them). They will not do that if it can be repaired again. I ordered a new dishwasher - not a floor model or scratch & dent. We are extremely dissatisfied w/ both companies. I should have some right to get a properly working appliance for my money. We have been greatly affected by Hurricane Sandy with 4 & 1/2 ft water in our home. Now we have to argue & call daily for something that was defective. Give us a break.

2005 Samsung microwave -SE- on display. Microwave high end that has an auto cook for types of food. I saw the post about the sensor and read others online for only 10 min. Said it was a humidity sensor that was shorted inside microwave, not a panel. My microwave was totally unusable. No buttons worked and unplugging power had no effect. I am fairly good at fixing things. And it said that you had to replace sensor. But after about five min., I remembered what I last cooked. I cooked corn. I bet that sensor is dirty. Inside on the ceiling of the microwave is a small 1/4 inch hole that the sensor fits. I sprayed it with aerosol isopropyl alcohol. Instant! : 0 on display, the -SE- was gone. The sensor was dirty and caused the microwave to lockup. I did not use but can suggest maybe a Q-tip with rubbing alcohol. A spray worked for me. My microwave is working. Thanks for the info on this site. It helped. Lot of work saved.

Our Samsung refrigerator has had issues since the beginning. The ice maker on top freezes up, water pools under drawer & onto the hardwood floor even though the ice maker on top is turned off. Ice accumulates behind the back panel causing the motor to grind very loudly. When we travel we turn off the water to the house to prevent water on floor. Purchased a Samsung Dishwasher around November, just installed 2 weeks ago in my remodeled kitchen. It has quit. Samsung has been of no help whatsoever except tell me that I need to call the repair people they have coming out to fix it. I called the repair people since I had not heard from them about when it would be repaired after 2 days of waiting. They inform me that they will be out on 4/29 to fix it. Mind you it was the 17th of April. They dont have anything sooner. This is ridiculous since the thing shouldnt be broke to begin with! My husband and I purchased a whole kitchen full of new Samsung appliances and one already broke. WOW! Next, I called Samsung back to see if there was a different repair company that could come out. They informed me that that is the best we can do. I became even more angry since a 2 week old dishwasher shouldnt be broke to begin with. Lowes has tried to be more helpful than Samsung by checking in to see if they could do anything. When the repair person comes out I am sure that it will be another week at least having to wait on parts. Samsung should take this piece of crap back and allow me to pick another brand. I WILL NOT purchase another Samsung product after this! They dont care. I purchased their product and am now stuck. Buyer Beware!!!

Had refrigerator/french door rfg297. etc. for 3 years. Replaced water filter on scheduled time. Now they have replaced the water filter on my model with a different type. This (same code does not fit) I have went to numerous stores and the internet suppliers as well as HHGregg where I purchased this unit (and 3 other units also). I have contacted Samsung business line 800 726 7864. They said that they have not replaced the above mentioned filter. Somebody is lying to me. The new filter not only does not fit, but looks different. I have talked to Samsung direct and HHgregg. They have confirmed what I thought. Its my problem.

I wrote in to request a refund on my unit, something I found they were providing to many others in my identical situation. Not only did they say no, but when I asked for the name/number of a manager or supervisor I was told there werent any for me to speak to. The unit I have has well know defects for which there are no solutions. Ice freezing on the coils, under the crisper, and water leaking on the floor under and around the unit. Refunds have been given to many others with products -some even older than mine. Samsung has had these issues for many years, in fact ConsumerAffairs published a report in 2009 which speaks to these issues, obviously still ongoing. https://www.consumeraffairs.com/news04/2009/08/samsung_settlement.html#It is unfortunate that Samsung has not improved the product, it is also unfortunate and regrettable that they wont apply the same level of service and attention to each case. Seeing so many others who have attained refunds (even posting pictures of the checks) while I am repeatedly told no is disheartening. I will do a lot of research and think very carefully before buying another Samsung product and I would strongly suggest others do the same, regardless of price/discount.Bill **

We purchased our Samsung Range Model NE595R0A in August 2013. Two days ago we were boiling some eggs and were sitting at the kitchen table when we heard a loud sap from the direction of the range. When I went to investigate the cause of the noise we discovered the glass top had cracked from the front corner all the way to the middle of the back edge. I found Samsungs service number and spoke with a service guy who told me that this was not covered. I read the warranty and it stated and I quote Five ( ) years Parts Warranty For Glass Cooktop and Radiant Surface Unit. Unless I am reading incorrectly this should be covered. It seems that this is a manufacturing problem since it happen to multiple ranges. Very disappointed with Samsung.

Horrible. Everything people are saying here rings true. I had trouble with the electronics panel from Day 1. The timer would not turn off properly, and Samsung did finally send a tech, who did nothing. A year in, I was baking and was unable to shut down the oven because the control panel wouldnt work. I had to throw the circuit breaker to get the oven to stop broiling! I believe I figured that the problem is that the panel gets nuts when it gets too hot since it was ok after the oven cooled down in 15 minutes. Some oven --- aaaaargh!

My experience with our Samsung dishwasher is similar to the other experiences listed here. Dishwasher began having error codes after 14-15 months of normal use. After dealing with it working and not working for a few months we set up a service call through Samsung. A call to Samsung customer service led to nothing and they do not stand behind this product at all. Do yourself a favor and do not buy this product. You will be disappointed and left with a non-working DW in 13-15 months. No wonder the warranty is only 1 year. Samsung has a great scam going on here, but it will eventually lead to loss of customers in all areas of their business.

Own a Samsung SMH9187ST microwave. In part picked from a Consumer Report rating. Thoroughly disappointed. Has been nothing but trouble. First the rack that came with the unit, caused an arcing/burning inside the unit - had to throw the rack out. Then the Magnetron failed (wouldnt heat), after much arguing with Samsung, they finally sent someone to replace it. Then had another issue with the unit functioning (of course just past the 1 year warranty part); had to replace the sensors at the door (my cost). Then we get the SE error - the remedies online dont work, so, only solution to replace the entire control panel?? This is an extremely poor design. SAMSUNG should not have sold this design. Third appliance of theirs that has been a major disappointment. I will never buy SAMSUNG again.

Unfortunately for me, I didnt read reviews prior to making my purchase. We bought a 4-piece appliance group at a Black Friday event at a local retailer. I hadnt had an ice maker working in my previous fridge for 5-6 years on a 21 year old product. So, needless to say, I was tickled to finally have new appliances with a working ice maker! We had the appliances delivered and hooked up around the first of the year. Within a month and a half the ice maker quit working. We put in a service call and waited. Within about week and a half the technician arrived and swapped out the entire ice maker components. Working again! Apparently, the water line didnt line up right within the unit and the overspray of water iced up the unit eventually.About a month later, same thing happened. Put in a service call, complained about our unit being a lemon and needing to be replace. Sorry sir, we have to have at least 2 service calls before we consider replacing a unit. After waiting for almost a month, technician arrives, replaces all the ice unit components again. Working again! And, the technician said Ill be coming back as he was leaving. Hummm.About 3 months later, the unit completely stopped making ice. Once again, Ive called the customer service, complaining about my unit being a lemon needing to be replaced. Here I am two weeks after that call. No ice, no calls within 24-48 hours which is how everything happens at Samsung apparently. My case was given to a validation group, and Id be getting a call from an Executive in 24-48 hours.8 days later, I get a call this morning from an Executive. She wasnt there to soothe my concerns but rather to inform me that my issue had been sent to a review board. And, they would be contacting me in 48-72 hours... Oh crap! Also during this conversation I was informed that my 1-year warranty was NOT a product warranty but rather a SERVICE warranty, and that they will likely be sending a technician out again for another service and there was NO guarantee they would be considering the replacement of my product. Despite raising my blood pressure and me speaking my disapproval, she ups her attitude, and goes rude on me and we get nowhere. Im waiting the determination of the review board.I call up my retailer, and basically get the its not our problem routine. I ask, so, what happens when my warranty runs out? Oh, sir, you can purchase an extended warranty... And there my friends is the scam. Samsungs product is crap. Samsungs customer service is horrendous, unless you like banging your head on the wall and getting nowhere... In 24-48 hours.I should not have to Google up how to unfreeze a Samsung ice maker on a brand new unit! Be careful to read your warranty, its not a replacement warranty, its a service warranty... Service their way to the 1-year expiration, and wash their hand of you. Unless of course, you spend more money and buy an extended warranty. Do yourself a huge favor. DO NOT BUY A SAMSUNG APPLIANCE, product is crap and customer service is horrendous at best.

I need a freezer department handles for RF263AFRS Fridge manufactured NOV 2010, handles have grey plastic parts that go inside the fridge and hold handle by screws. Handle is not broken, it just cannot hold to the fridge anymore because of the broken parts on both ends. I spent 3 months looking for these parts. They got back to me with template saying I should call their customer service (I know the phone # by heart already!). Its been a few months now the fridge is broken. I have difficulty accessing the freezer because of it. The part I am looking for the freezer handle is actually a part of the whole freezer door and to make things a little worse, that freezer door is no longer available. Same fridge broke on month 13th, after 12 month warranty. It was making ice on the back of the fridge. Part was $170 and $150 was the labor. I am very dissatisfied with the product. We thought we were buying a top-of-the-line refrigerator when we bought our Samsung fridge 2 years ago. Model RF263BEAEBC. French doors, bottom freezer, ice and water dispenser in the door. From the beginning, the ice/water dispenser was a problem. It leaked and water ran down the left front and over to the left side of the unit, puddling in the floor. If I selected ice cubes, I got ice cubes and crushed ice, with a bit of water thrown in for good measure. Since day 1 it has never worked as it should. We have tolerated it all this time because everything else was fine. Now, we have no ice and have discovered there is (were thinking) no water getting to the ice maker in spite of the cutoff valve being wide open and undisturbed since installation. I have recently noticed water gathering in one of the fridge drawers. I am SO disgusted with this fridge!!! I cannot and will not recommend this brand to anyone!

I believe Samsung on purpose! made an oven that does not allow you to put foil on the bottom of the oven to catch any spills. Knowing most people do put the foil on the bottom; this is the way they get more money from the consumer because the melting foil and the damage of the coating that came off is not covered by the warranty. I had 2 service people come out 4 months after purchase for another problem and neither of them said anything about the foil that was on the bottom of the oven. Your own service people are not educated about the products they are working on. Now I have an oven I can no longer use. Its less than a 1 year old. Purchased on 4/17/19.It says in the manual page 8, (But not in Bold) that the foil could cause electric shock or catch fire. That seems pretty important but you didnt bother to make that in Bold. Because you want people to use the foil/liner and ruin their ovens. You put stupid things in bold like, use care when toughing the cooktop. Like I need to be told that! Really Samsung, you have gone backwards in developing new products. Why would you design something that not every oven user will know what not to do unless they read your user manual. What about when you sell a house. Should the new owners automatically know that your oven could cause an electric shock or catch fire because they put a liner on the bottom of the oven. It seem like your lack of care for your customers really speaks volume of what kink of people you are! You set your customers up to fail, and that makes you a big failure! The oven already does not follow the California law of not having any cancer causing materials. Wow! Samsung, thanks again for caring so much about your buyer! You had a designer who was not educated on why the foil on the bottom of the oven is so important. And probably has never used an oven. Pay attention to your buyers! Get better designers who have experience in using the product! Just because they have a college degree does not mean they know anything about what they are designing! I will make sure I let everyone I know not to buy Samsung and why!

My Samsung refrigerator broke again. This is the third time since I spent nearly $2000 to buy it new in 2013. But aside from the poor performance of the unit the real problem is the customer service regarding the repair. So far Ive called Samsung every day for the past 11 days and I am on hold again now. Apparently Samsung customer service will listen to the problem you are experiencing, very nicely tell you to expect a call within 24-48 business hours and then throw your information in the trash because nothing happens after that. Every day, I have to begin the process again so in this scenario 24 -48 business hours never passes. Dont buy a Samsung refrigerator. They break and no one is interested in fixing it. Or paying for it. Or replacing it unless you want to box it up and ship it off yourself (they actually suggested I do this!!) There are plenty of refrigerator companies. On 8/29/16 we purchased the 25 cu ft French Door with External Water & Ice Dispenser, Model Number: RF263BEAESG/AA Refrigerator in the Black Stainless finish. Delivered 9/3/16. We purchased this high end very pricey fridge, a high end matching gas range and dishwasher so we spent a pretty decent amount of money. The set was ordered from a local appliance store and was NOT a scratch & dent product. While from a distance the fridge looks fantastic, dont look too close. Under the factory packaging (plastic protective packaging & cardboard was not damaged at all) there were numerous scratches and a small dent in the upper left door. I would expect a new expensive appliance such as this would not arrive in this condition. The appliance store is closing and unable to order a new refrigerator or even just a new door. I dont need an entire new fridge, just an undamaged door.Samsung feels it is our problem and refused to do anything about it. While waiting on hold the recorded message spoke of their commitment to customer service. Well we didnt get that, in fact just the opposite. Interesting is that we really like Samsung and have always promoted their products. This is the first issue weve had and they failed us. I would not recommend this product due to how fragile it seems to be and Samsung will not make it right. I have a beautiful new kitchen with very nice high end Samsung appliances, except for the scratched and dented fridge. Is this really what I waited for all these years? Extremely disappointed. How hard would it be to replace my door? Any other appliance store would have sent it back to Samsung and requested a replacement from Samsung. Why cant Samsung just do that for me?Thanks alot Samsung. Also, I submitted this same review on Samsungs site and guess what? They wont post it.

My fridge was less than a year old when it started to give me problems. Its a defective fridge. It’s been 2 weeks with no fridge and they won’t refund your full money back! My child can’t put her medication anywhere and I explained that to Samsung and they said it’s not their problem. Oliver and Ingrid were so harsh about the situation And I explained my child could die and nothing is being done. They haven’t picked up my old fridge and until they have my old fridge I won’t get any money for A new fridge. Please people don’t ever go through what I’m going through. I can’t even afford to buy a new fridge until they send for my old one and and they get the fridge I have to wait 17-20 business days for my check.

I am having problems with the oven temperature in my brand new Samsung gas range purchased less than a month ago. When the preheat feature arrives at 350 degrees, it is not that hot in the oven. I have placed an oven thermometer in my oven because of the uneven temperatures and untrue displayed temperatures. When I called the Samsung phone number, the tech told me how to adjust or as he called it recalibrate the temperature. I did try this, however, It still appears that it takes 20 minutes or longer to reach the required temperature. In my previous 30-year-old gas range, the temperature reached the requirement in ten minutes. After reading the comments on this site (I wish I had known about it before purchasing my Samsung gas range), I would have chosen another brand. Now, I am afraid to even try the self cleaning feature.

The ice maker doesn’t work. Difficult to remove the ice bin. We followed all the troubleshooting instructions. Nothing worked. Our user manual was not up to date and did not show where the “reset” button was located. We called Samsung to complain, were told it was beyond the warranty. They scheduled a service company in our area. We later found out that no service company will touch it in our area due to the problems with the ice maker. The bottom line: We have no ice available in our Samsung french door refrigerator. The ice maker is overly complex, and not user friendly. There are too many ways for this unit to fail. I can’t believe Samsung would allow this kind of a bad customer experience. I guess I know why they had big problems with their phones and washers.

I am writing a negative review as it relates to my purchased a Samsung microwave model ME16H702SES in April 2019. The microwave overheated and the paint melted at the bottom of microwave. I send pictures of the damage and was told it was cosmetic damage and the tech also told me it was the same. I followed up with a phone call and talked with several representatives and was told that their only solution was to apply metal paint. I voiced my concerns, since there was no explanation as to how this could happen. I was told about warranty and installation, but nothing to do with as it relates to a safety issues. I did go on record that I was concerned about my and my family safety, to continue to use a microwave that has overheated.

I bought the Samsung electric range model NE59J7630SG in July 2017 from Home Depot when they had the huge sale with refrigerator, microwave, and dishwasher. Before, I have been using a different brand electric range for years with no problem. After about 2 months later, I started to see white scratches in the middle of burner. It looked like some liquid residue right underneath the glass top, which I could not get rid of with cleaning. After 3.5 months later, one night, my mom used it before she went to bed, slept, and when we came out the next morning, we saw round shaped broken glasses on the cooktop which soon gave a big long crack across the burner. I called customer service asking for replacement (had 1yr warranty). They sent me a tech to diagnose, then they said they could not replace it because its a physical damage.I requested second opinion, they sent another tech who said he would request for the replacement, didnt hear anything back for 2 weeks. I called the tech and found out Samsung denied it since its a physical damage. The tech said it would cost me $500 just to replace the top after I just spent $750 buying a new one. I have been fighting with Samsung for 2 months now, spoke with 4-5 different managers. Three of them gave me an approval to get it fixed at their cost, but nothing gets done. Every time I call them, I get a different rep at a different location, they cannot connect me to the person I spoke to before. You give them the ticket# with the approval, but doesnt matter. They dont care what the previous manager promised you, you will have to start from the beginning all over again. They are saying its their policy that physical damage is not covered by the warranty, I did something wrong with the range, doesnt admit that its their product defect. I googled to see if people had the same problem as I did, I found people with the same problem!!! Even I found one on this website, this lady her pictures on here and it looked exactly the same as mine and she said one day she heard a loud bang in her kitchen and the crack on her cooktop!! Do not waste your money on Samsung product. Their product is horrible and when there is a problem, good luck with it.

I have had my Samsung French door refrigerator for 2 years last September. Thankfully we purchased extended warranty on the appliances. First the defroster had to be upgraded because ice was building up under the deli tray. When they came out to fix that they found out the sensor panel was broken and the ice maker needed upgrades. The ice maker has now had six different upgrades and it still quits working every three months. Samsung says its over a year old so they dont care. The extended warranty company says they didnt come out enough times to consider it a lemon so no exchanges for a refrigerator without an ice maker. Very disappointed and will never buy another Samsung product.

Samsung 3-Door Refrigerator Ice Maker - We purchased this in 2015. We’re disappointed in the icemaker from the beginning -- it did not make a lot of ice and ran out frequently. Then the icemaker started to freeze up periodically where we were unable to remove the ice storage box. Only by turning off the refrigerator were we able to defrost. On Monday, April 9, we called customer support for advice. I followed the instructions I was given and was assured that there would be a bucket of ice the next day. Wrong. The ice storage had completely defrosted. We noticed later in the day on Tuesday that the refrigerator was no longer cooling the frig or freezer areas. We called again on Tuesday and spoke with another representative who told us to do the same thing as the first. Nothing happened. After 75 minutes with this person, we were advised that we would probably have to replace the ice-making system, not under guarantee. She assured us that during this time, they were having one of their service people identify a local service location to assist. Then we told her that the refrigerator and freezer at least were working before we followed their instructions and shouldnt they be responsible for damaged food and whatever needed to get the frig and freezer working. She said to make an itemized list of the fold that was spoiling, take a picture and show the price. Didnt say they would reimburse, nor did she suggest any responsibility on their part for the problems caused by following the directions on the tech support. At this point, we asked for a supervisor. We were on hold for about an hour and finally hung up. We called again and were able to speak with a tech person who was able to at least get the frig and freezer working. The icemaker appears to be working now, but it will continue to back up and freeze, like it always does. This morning, another tech person called and asked if she could help resolve this over the phone. This was very disappointing, as I was expecting either a call from the local appliance repair place or perhaps the supervisor. This was unbelievable, and of course I was angry about how our problem was being handled. I mentioned that unless a supervisor was willing to call me back (I was no longer willing to wait for someone not to come on the phone), there was no longer a need for conversation. The tech support people were polite. But I will never, never again purchase any Samsung product.

Samsung refrigerators are defective garbage. Their customer service is deceptive and completely useless. Samsung hired Alorica, a third party dimwit company that calls themselves the Office of the President. They are paid to make consumers go away, give up and not get services. They are filthy liars. Retailers who knowingly sell these defective refrigerators should be held accountable as well. Samsung needs to recall ALL their refrigerators and refund the consumers.

It makes god-awful noise twice a day that you can hear all over the house. I called BrandsMart three days in to complain and they said thats just how it sounds, too bad for me. I will not buy a Samsung anything ever again - and certainly not from BrandsMart. Service on this through extended warranty has been horrible. They use attractive designs to help them sell substandard product and poor Service. Then sales people abet by telling you they are great fridges. I cant count how many complaints I have now read. On Feb.16, 2009, we purchased a 30 Samsung electric stove AND a 5 year warranty. Almost immediately, we knew we had a problem. We spent the entire 5 years of warranty, having repairmen from A & E Factory Service (Sears) come put bandaids on this very expensive stove ($1508 without the warranty cost). When the extended warranty ran out in February of 2014 the stove had all the same problems it had as a new stove. Since then, I always set the temperature too high (because it never reaches the temperature I set it at). I bought a good oven thermometer to put in the oven which I watch by shining a flashlight through the glass in the oven door, adjusting the temperature throughout the baking period. You see, I cant trust the oven to go to the temperature I need. The beeper that is supposed to tell you when the oven is hot enough to bake your food beeps when the oven is at least 100 degrees lower than I have set it for. This oven has ruined so many things I have tried to bake, including a ham that I served partly raw without realizing it. NEVER BUY SAMSUNG PRODUCTS!! I seriously cringe when I see full page ads for Samsung appliances. I will NEVER buy another one. But think of all those poor people who WILL! (We purchased the stove from a store in Loveland Colorado called Ji and Daves Appliance, Inc. which is no longer in business).

Starting from within a few weeks I had problems with my refrigerator and had it repaired under the one year warranty. I had purchased a 5 year warranty and every year I have had the same problem, fan icing up, leaking and fridge not cooling. It is total crap! The warranty company wont provide a new fridge because it is repairable. Now my dishwasher is not working, the sensor for the level is broken and it is not working. I would NEVER buy another Samsung Appliance ever! The worst appliances I have ever bought.

We have purchased a four door Samsung refrigerator which in less than a year of usage the refrigerator section no longer was cooling. Called Samsung Customer Service and after spending 45 min on the phone I was transferred to the Executive Customer Relations only to answer a myriad of questions that were already answered during the first call and supposedly documented in the service ticket. The Executive Customer Relations could not provide much assistance except for providing the names of two Samsung approved service centers; however, conveniently forgot to provide a service to be provided to the service center. Therefore, when I placed the call to the Service center I was informed that without that number they cannot assist.Called Samsung again, only to go through the same process described above and waste another good hour on the phone to obtain the service ticket number. Called the Service Center and 48 hours later, a technician showed up; however, due to the size and location of the refrigerator he could not assess what needed to be done. He placed a call to the Service Center to re-scheduled the repair and at the end he informed me that he is going to be on site on the following week on Wednesday at 8 AM along with his supervisor **.Wednesday came and at 8:30 AM I called ** to see what time hell be on site only to be informed that hell be in at 10AM. At 10:30 I called their center and was informed that they will not be in till 11AM. They showed up at 11:30AM. The unit was checked by an experienced technician, not Samsung, and later on he provided me with the technical bulletin from Samsung showing that this unit has two independent compressors and it is Not-serviceable; however, the Samsung service technician said that they can fix it. After they checked the refrigerator, both technicians agreed that the unit cannot be fixed.

A little more than 2 years ago, I bought a Samsung refrigerator (Model RFG295ARRS) at Lowes. This refrigerator has been leaking from day one since. Due to the fact that my house and business were under construction, my appliances from Lowes were not delivered until 9 or 10 months later, and besides this situation, I was not able to occupy my house and business until the City of Lansing granted me permission to occupy. It took about another 3 or four months for me to do that. Due to the fact that my residence and business are in the same building, I ended paying about $2600 for my refrigerator (I do not recall very well, but I still have my receipt). When Samsung technicians came to my house on June 30th, 2012 and July 21, 2012, they told me that my refrigerator is not repairable. I am trying to get back my $328.94 that they charged me to repair it the first time (June 30th). This refrigerator came defective from the manufacturer, that is what one of the technicians told me the first time and he said that the manufacturer knows that but they had kept quiet due to a recall or that they have to recall all the refrigerators. At the same time, this technician told me that he was aware of the problem and that they had fixed before, but they did not do that with mine and that is why I want my money back. Because they lied to me. Samsung is bad, bad product, bad reputation. I will ask my children to put this in Facebook and everywhere so people are aware of this problem. Now I know there are hundreds of complaints.

I purchased a Samsung refrigerator model RF32FMQDBSR/AA in June of 2014, and have since had to have the ice maker replaced 3 times for a total of $1000. It originally failed just a year after the frig was purchased, so was no longer under warranty, and that bill was slightly over $500. In August of this year it failed again, and that experience cost $400. At that time the repair company said they were no longer doing warranty work for Samsung due to the issues with the ice maker. Here it is 2 months later and the icemaker has failed again. This morning the tech came out and we were charged $100 for a service call, and it is still not making ice. Samsung wont do anything about the problem. We are probably going to have to purchase a different brand of refrigerator as we have already spent 25% of what the original purchase price was for repairs. No more Samsung for me.

I purchased a Samsung dishwasher in 9/2012 model # DMT400RHW/XAA from Sears. From day 1 the dishwasher would not wash my dishes very good. It would leave spots on glasses, utensils, & a white substance on plates, bowls, etc. I contacted Sears after the tub in the dishwasher was holding water & the dishwasher would shut off with the delicate blue light flashing. Sears advised me to contact Samsung Repair. This is when the dissatisfied consumer turned into Angry Consumer. I contacted Samsung Repair & they told me that I was assigned to a repair company to come out & fix the dishwasher (under warranty) at No Charge, but when I contacted repair appliance company, she advised me that I would have to pay for it to be repair. Then I contacted Samsung repair & told them what the repair company said so she then assigned me to another repair appliance company, but they wanted me to pay for the mileage for them to come out & fix the dishwasher. Again, I had to contact Samsung Repair about the mileage problem. After several calls to Samsung Repair, she put me on hold & came back & said her manager said they would pay for the mileage. The repair appliance coming assigned would never answer my phone calls or messages I left more than 4 times. They would call me at inconvenient times when I was driving & could not pick up the phone, but I would pull over & call back & the repair company again would not pickup my calls or return my messages I had left & the next day Samsung Repair department closed the repair order, without contacting me to let me know they were going to close out the repair order or to find out why from me that I could not get in touch with the repair company. I called the Executive Customer Relations department spoke to Keya & she advised me that the dishwasher would be repaired at No Charge. I sent several Emails to corporate office & Samsung repair several times & several days ago & I have not received any correspondence from Samsung either by Email or Phone Call. Please help me in getting my money back from Samsung. I have never owned a Samsung dishwasher before or do not ever want to own a Samsung dishwasher again. I would put negative or Zero stars if I could. We are on day 18 with a broken refrigerator and no closer to a resolution. It takes a minimum of 4 days to get a physical service person to arrive and evaluate the problem. In our case it was a severe sealed compressor issue on our refrigerator less than 1 year old and still under factory warranty. After the technician discovered the real problem we waited 3 days for Samsung to determine an exchange was the course of action. 7 Days after that determination we are no closer to getting the exchange we were promised. You would think after the amount of my follow up calls, I could actually reach a person with the ability to simply approve the exchange request. The scripted response is to tell you they will expedite with an email. Horrible service Samsung.

About 6 months after purchasing and installing our OTR Samsung microwave, the popcorn setting began to burn up the bags of popcorn so we quit using that setting. Then roughly 8 months later (and after the warranty ran out) our microwave started to turn itself off and give an SE error message. After doing this for three or four times, the front panel just went out and never came back on regardless of our attempts to revive it.I went online and began to research the problem and it is very obvious that this is an inherent problem with Samsung OTR microwaves despite their previous top rating. And most of the reports state that the replacement costs are prohibitive and the replacement parts also malfunction. Now we are stuck with a $350.00 piece of junk and it is not even 1 1/2 years since the purchase! Planned obsolescence? I bought this microwave because it was highly rated and because it matched my other Samsung kitchen appliances. Oh well, I cant get my money back and it doesnt make any sense to repair it - so it goes to the landfill. Ridiculous! I wont buy another one, but I do wish that everyone knew about the issues with these microwaves prior to even considering this brand of microwave oven, especially because this is an ongoing problem and Samsung is well aware of it.

We bought a Samsung stove 5 weeks ago, and purchased the 5 yr extended warranty. We were told this would ensure quick response on appliance issues. It has worked well for 5 weeks. Last week while baking @ 350, we heard something crackling and opened the oven to find the inside door glass had completely spider-cracked and glass fell everywhere the inside of the oven. Since the stove was only 5 weeks old and we had the 5 yr extended warranty, a simple door replacement would solve the issue.15 phone calls (store, 3rd-party service company, Samsung) and several days later we are frustrated. The first roadblock was getting someone to arrange a service call. After sending a copy of the store receipt, there was more delay while the 3rd party service company had Samsung validated the receipt - seriously? Finally they call to dispatch a tech, and was told they are coming to access and take a picture to evaluate the need. I offered to take the picture and email it, and again indicated that replacing the oven door would solve the issue. So today, the 3rd party company called saying Tech was on the way. Tech shows up (no part), takes a picture and notes yes, the door glass is defective and leaves. Its now 8 days and counting with no functioning oven, and no ETA. Ive reached out to the Lowes store Manager (who has been very helpful, but also hamstrung by the same bureaucracy with 3rd party maintenance company & Samsung procedures). While I like the 2 Samsung appliances I own, given this first customer service experience, I would not purchase another Samsung appliance. We all know Appliances will break - but if one cant get a NEW appliance serviced even with the 5 yr extended warranty... Purchase from a different brand that supports good warranty service.

Dried everything off and it ran well for a while until the issue returned so periodically I have to empty the freezer and heat the back, unplug the unit and hope it runs. I have this fridge for 1.5 years. Love the size, but milk is always going sour before the expiry date; cheese molding; and leftovers didnt last. Rationalized all these things - must be leaving the milk out too long, must have dirty kids hands touching the cheese, etc. Because the digital temperature reading said it was 34 deg in the fridge, it must be accurate right? Wrong! Verification by 3 separate mercury and digital thermometers show that the fridge compartment temp runs 40-50 deg and thats in winter (wonder how warm it had been running last summer!). This is everywhere in the fridge compartment, top shelf, bottom shelf, door, right next to the ice maker, etc. I cannot find any place in the fridge that runs less than 40 degrees. In hindsight, no wonder food was spoiling! The fridge programming will not allow the temperature to be set any lower than 34F. Service technician has replaced the main control board and the digital touch screen assembly. Have not resolved the problem. I phoned Samsung customer support and was only told that since the factory warranty is expired, they can and will do nothing. Suspecting a design flaw that they are aware of. I will update if ever fixed. Freezer and flex-drawer hold reasonable to programmed temperature (generally 2-6 degrees above programmed temp, sometimes 10 degrees higher), but those compartments have larger programming range. Can program the freezer to -8 and the flex-drawer to 29, so even if they run higher than programmed, it is OK for food storage. But even with fridge set as low as it will go (34), it still is too warm for safe food storage.
