In Sept 2015 I bought a Samsung NE58F9500SS slide in electric range. Within 2 days we noticed cracks on the glass cooktop which kept spreading. Went to Lowes, where I bought it, and showed them pictures. They immediately replaced the bad one. It is 11 months later and I have the same problem, cracked cooktop. I called Samsung as it is still on warranty. Tech came to my home and told me he thought it would be approved. He showed Samsung a video of the stove in real time. Without any dialogue Samsung denied the warranty saying it was customer abuse. I have 4 other Samsung products but this will be my last.

SAMSUNG MODEL 268ABBP/XAA - Its the same issue as pretty much everyone else; its 3 years old and water is leaking into the crisper drawer and out the sides of the fridge. Ive spoken to numerous people at Samsung and, apparently, Im out repair costs. I just got off the phone with the executive BS dept. They pretty much told me same thing; Im on my own. Ill never ever buy Samsung again... If I had the money, I would load this piece of crap in the back of my truck and dump it at Lowes parking lot.

I purchased the fridge on the 6th march 2012. All was ok for about 3 months, then the water dispenser valve stopped working. The door would not close properly, had to manually close it. It has been repaired twice and door still broken. Not good enough dont understand why they won’t replace it...

I purchased the side by side fridge. After 10 days, when I opened the door to the fridge, I would hear the fan motor slowing down. It was loud. I placed a service call to Sears (where I purchased it) and the serviceman said that I needed to empty the fridge and leave the doors open for two days so it could thaw. Apparently, it was frozen in the back. I did that and he came back the next week to install new parts. That was on a Friday. The following Tuesday, the fan noise was back. I placed another service call. This time, I insisted on a replacement. Guess what, the replacement is making the same fan noise.

DO NOT AND I MEAN DO NOT BUY A SAMSUNG REFRIGERATOR!! IT IS A PIECE OF CRAP!! ! I bought my side by side refrigerator in Dec. 2015. Six months later there was water under the crisper drawer and the freezer froze over. I cleaned the water from the crisper drawer thinking it was possibly a one time thing. It happened again, and again. I cleaned it up. I called Samsung in Dec. 2016 and they sent someone out to fix it. Well by the time they came out and fixed it the 1 year warranty was up. It happened again and it was only 15 months old. They refused to do anything about it. And now the ice maker shoot is leaking water and the ice is slushy. I bought it from Conns.

I purchased a stove from Home Depot on 10/15/2014, today is 01/13/15. As of today I have been denied a claim for the glass top that chipped and the inner glass that broke while I was cleaning the oven. So to my surprise I called for service and replacement of glass top and inner glass and was told that it was denied for personal damage. Its amazing how you can spend $700 on a stove that didnt last for 3 months. My other stove which was a Kitchenaid was 10 years old before the inner glass broke meanwhile the glass top never broke and it still works perfectly. I will never purchase a samsung stove again.

I purchased a Samsung double door refrigerator RT31HVMSI in May 2006. On 12th of December, my refrigerator stopped working and a complaint was lodged with you customer care. Subsequently, an engineer visited us promptly and the fridge was handed over to the representatives of Vision Cool Services, 2 New Taratalla Road, Kolkata -88 on Friday, 17th of December with the verbal assurance that my fridge would be returned on Tuesday, 21st of Dec. I had requested for a standby fridge as we are a working couple and a fridge is a necessity but I wasnt provided one. On the 21st, I was given an estimate which I confirmed again with the assurance of a delivery on the 23rd. I have taken leave today in order to take delivery of my fridge. After repeated calls routed through your customer care, I was informed that they do not have a delivery van at their disposal today. I have made the purchases of perishable non-vegetable items which will now be wasted. Such callous and irresponsible behavior is not acceptable. Kindly look into the matter and arrange for a prompt delivery.

We purchased a complete set of the black stainless appliances. After 14 months the black finish on the stove began flaking off. I contacted Samsung only to learn my appliances were out of warranty. I was informed that even if they werent, it is a cosmetic issue and thus would not be covered. They offered to send a rep at my expense for an estimate of cost which I would have to pay. They admitted it is not what they feel is acceptable quality, but refused to take ownership for the repair. Since, there is additional flaking on the range, the microwave and the fridge. Bad Samsung!

Bought this refrigerator (RFG237) a year and a half ago. Had to replace an electronic component within the first 6 months, it was not cooling the frig part, but it was covered under warranty, no cost. Now the back of the frig is frozen, the interior shell is cracked and melted. I have to have the cover replace, the crack filled with something, and a thermostat replaced. Of course its out of warranty and will cost me $250 to fix. This has the making of a real lemon. I called Samsung and they gave me a run around. I will never buy another product of any kind from this company and I will tell all my friends of my experience.

Samsung RF217ACPN leaking issue - Purchased the French door refrigerator in August 2010. It started to leak water inside and bottom of the drawers after about 18 months. We just put a sponge down those areas, and clean the water when it very wet. Then we took all food out and leave all doors opened for a couple days in the summer. Less than 2 weeks, the water drop again and even worse. We then repeat the above procedure and left it dry for 3 days this time in the summer. Nothing was changed. We decided to open the cover locate above the drawers. Then we find out that it seems has been opened and repaired before we purchased it! There is big hole at side of bottom of the foam that have tape to cover it. The metal panel has separated with the foam that used duct tape to connect them. The soft stick tape was broken and covered only 3/4 of the bottom...

Defective Samsung Refrigerator Model RF267AERS - We first experienced an issue with the evaporator tube freezing up and water running out of the refrigerator on to the hardwood floors, 2 months out of warranty. A service technician came to the house to repair it. Here we are, a few months later (May 2012), with the same reoccurring problem. This time, they want us to pay for the same repetitive issue. Do yourself a favor and stay away from Samsung refrigerators. Update - Here we are in August of 2012 with the same problem. The refrigerator is once again a spring generating a stream of water on to our hardwood floors. What a lemon of a refrigerator. Do yourself a favor and stay away from Samsung Refrigerators. Beware, they do make refrigerators for other manufacturers.

I bought a Samsung Refrigerator about less than a year ago from HHGREGG. About a month ago, the refrigerator became faulty. There was no cooling in the fridge, however the freezer was working fine. The milk and other perishable items were getting spoiled in the fridge. Immediately I contacted Samsung technical support, they made me reduce the fridge temperature, but that did not help in any way. Finally a ticket was generated and it was given to Dependable Services (Samsung contracts with third party to provide repair and maintenance service) to fix the issue. This is where my nightmare started. After great difficulty I was able to get hold of some customer service person in Dependable Service. Finally they gave me a service technician visit date that was about a week away. On the said date, they called me and said the spare parts did not arrive, so the visit was pushed to next week. After a week of finally waiting, again I got a call from the customer service team saying one of the spare parts was there and other was in someone elses truck. Then they postponed the visit for another week. Now again they called me and left a voice mail (I was not reachable). Immediately I called back when I saw the voice mail in the evening. I was told the ticket was cancelled due to no response (they call a single call no reply from customer is a no response for them). I had to call Samsung and had to get another ticket. After all this hassle, finally the technician arrived at home after more than 3 weeks of complaints, back and forth calling. The technician comes home and says he did not have spare parts (the cooling fan had to be replaced) to fix the fridge. I was shocked. They had postponed the repair for more than 3 weeks giving one reason or another saying they were getting parts from Samsung to repair, and here comes the technician without the parts. The whole thing has been a nightmare. I had to call Samsung customer service many times, and they ask me to talk to dependable service. They are giving me a run around. I regret buying a refrigerator from SAMSUNG, THEY HAVE HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I am without refrigerator for more than a month now... I would never ever buy any Samsung product ever in my life. I learnt my lesson, will stay away from the name SAMSUNG.

Buy this fridge if you do not care about hygiene and germs brewing in your fridge. Grime gets stuck in every bin and drawer with no means of cleaning the nooks and crannies. You will eventually end up breaking the cheap plastic in order to have the smell gone. Dry crusted debris get stuck often in the front of door bins and the veggie drawers. These parts have 3 layers to it with no means of taking those apart but to break. The whole world knows now icemaker is a big sham for Samsung. Only worked for couple months. I have done everything samsung recommended but it is a company with very poor technical and customer support. Class action in process for that one. Samsung spends their budget on marketing than on engineering and design hence a poor product. My model no is rf24fsedbsr (French door twin).

We just bought (September 2019 ) a 23 cu ft Samsung Model RF23R6201. The freezer operates at 15 degrees Fahrenheit higher temperature than it should! It is supposed to be at minus 5 degrees Fahrenheit but it is actually at plus 10 degrees Fahrenheit (I have verified this with two Refrigerator Thermometers). A Samsung repairman came by a couple of days ago (after a one week delay!) and supposedly fixed the problem with a software update which did not improve the performance of the Refrigerator at all! Needless to say, the ice maker does not work either! Furthermore the Refrigerator (deceptively?) indicates an inaccurate value for the freezer temperature. STAY AWAY FROM SAMSUNG REFRIGERATORS! (I doubt I will ever buy any SAMSUNG product.)

I had bought Samsung fridge freezer side by side and bought quite early as it was on special offer and our home had just started the renovation. So when the delivery came did not open as we put trust on the consumer products and because it was dusty in the house. I just kept it in the box. Once the renovation was done opened the box so excitedly and what do I see? Big dent on the door and small dent on the side of the fridge. We rang Samsung straight away and explained to them what we found and why we delayed on opening the box. But they did not want to know as it was over 28 days. I ask them to just replace the door and that has big dent but No. We have families and friends come to visit us and they see the dent on the door and they laugh. Not on us but on Samsung, and they say See SAMSUNG ARE NOT GOOD.There is no reliability that Samsung offers to their customers after the product is sold. Reading all the other reviews, looks like these problems are just a beginning. I have Samsung products that we have are phones, TV, DVD recorder. We have had issue only with our Samsung fridge freezer, but with this experience we promised ourselves not to purchase any Samsung merchandise in the future. Very very poor service from Samsung home appliance and customer relations. But hey guess what if any of the staff or any other higher position and CEO family and friends had problem they would have helped them with one click.

By the time the tech showed up which was over a week later. The fan had stopped working and I had to get rid of all the food. He replaced the sensor and water line. It has now been a week since then and my fan is starting to make the sound again. I called the tech because his phone number was on the receipt he left me. He told me that I had to go back to Samsung and start the process all over. So, that means all my food will spoil again! Do not buy this refrigerator!

My Samsung refrigerator ice maker is leaking and icing up. I had an appliance repair company look at the problem and was informed that the repair would require the replacement of the ice maker, auger motor kit and clip pack. The parts totaled $497.39, plus $165 labor along with $39.07 tax, total $686.46. The repairman gave me all the part replacement information and recommended that I contact Samsung Customer service since the problem I am having is common for this model, RF28HMEDBSR/AA. The customer service rep looked up the serial number and said that the ref is three years old and that the ice maker is only under warranty for one year. I said, You mean that Samsung believes that the ice maker should only last one year plus and the ref and freezer should last five years. He stated that he could do nothing because that is the Samsung policy. My recommendation is DO NOT PURCHASE A SAMSUNG REFRIGERATOR!

Every summer the Samsung refrigerator model RF266abbp starts making a loud noise like an old fan. Every time we open the door it will stop and then it will start if we close it. The repair man came and said just unplug it and let it all the water from freezer flow out for at least 24 hours; then, let it dry and plug it again. Its been the third summer with the same stupid thing. I was cleaning the shelf with the thin glass, the vegetables and fruit compartment with 2 drawers, and the glass exploded! Yes, it exploded! We are retired and on a budget save for 15 years to buy new appliances. The Samsung refrigerator has never worked properly, warranty serviceman was out three times to repair ice maker. They replaced board and ran a tube of caulking around unit. He said it was bad design and was sucking air from fridge section. It worked two weeks. Our warranty was up Sept 24. We tried to renew warranty before and they said it had to be added 90 days before it was up. My husband has brain and lung cancer and I have multiple myeloma. We have a year old fridge and no ice living in Phoenix Az. Believe me we use ice, although its just the two of us. Thank god, Im 67 my husband is 72. I purchased a Samsung Microwave Model SMH8187STG from Costco on 19 MAR, 2011. The other day, I went to close the door, heard a snap and it wouldnt close. The plastic latch was loose. I called Samsung (even though warranty was over) to inquire about what to do, and was passed on to their Canadian parts department, where I ordered a new plastic latch piece for $2.99, assuming thats what the problem was. It would be sent to the dealer nearest to our town where I could pick it up at that price, or mailed to me for $12.99 (I chose the pick up). The parts person also helped by directing me to a website as to how to take the door apart to get at the broken latch. I discovered many other sites where people had had problems with Samsung door latches failing, SE problems, etc.Anyway, when I took the door apart and got the latch out, there were a couple of other broken plastic pieces also. I picked up the new piece yesterday, brought it home, and discovered from looking at some other websites that some people had to glue broken plastic bits back on the door in order to get everything to work (they apparently hadnt ordered a new part). My new part didnt include the other plastic pieces, as they had been part of the inside of the door! They were very small, and very thin, and were part of the guides for the latch, and one of them appeared to be the piece that would anchor the spring that would attach to the latch. Crazy glue or epoxy wasnt going to fix that piece well enough to allow a spring to re-anchor for the stress on the latch. My wife and I do not slam the microwave door, and at our age (mid-60s), we realize were now living in a throw-away society, but this is ridiculous! It looks like well need a new door, as the whole internal part of the current door contains these tiny plastic anchors. Samsung knew or ought to have known that these pieces would not stand up to repeated use over more than a few years before the stress on them would cause them to fail. Why would they not have used reasonably strong metal anchors? While Im not a lawyer, one would think that those of us that have had this problem would have a decent case in small claims court or in a class action suit, even though the warranty is over. Does anyone agree? Anyway, after reading the other horror stories and our experience, its the first/last Samsung for us! P.S. So far, we havent had the SE problem, but from the looks of it, we probably will. However, we bought ours at Costco, as mentioned, and they are very good at taking things back from dissatisfied customers.

I have a 5 year old Samsung French door refrigerator. The refrigerator compartment is cooled by what they call a cooling tower. This is a very poor design. It frosts up behind the panel and the fan stops working and the fridge wont cool. I defrosted mine but it didnt help. Service replaced the cooling tower and within 45 days I was having same problem. After some very poor local service they are going to replace the cooling tower again. The replacement part is noisy and fridge temp bounces between 42 and 50 while set at 34. I wont buy another Samsung fridge. A fridge should last at least 10 years. I had to replace a $200 board for the freezer after 2 years. I have almost $3000 invested in a fridge that gave little, annoying problems at first, but as soon as the VERY SHORT warranty was up, the ice maker problems got worse and worse... Dripping water out of the ice maker flapper door, slushy ice cubes, ice dams in the ice maker itself, taking 1 minute or so to drop out 3-5 ice cubes, odd noises, not making ice at all... You name it.I tried to get a repairman, but no one returned my calls--then I discovered from several local sellers of the Samsung French door fridges, that there are so many problems with them, that repairmen dont want to repair them at all--knowing they will never solve their clients problems. The repairmen might take the call IF the unit is still on warranty, simply because they know theyll get more and more repair calls--all paid by Samsung. Once the warranty is gone, they dont want to deal with Samsung units.Consider this: I have a new millennium fridge and I make ice the way my Mom did in the 1950s--with ice cube trays! I think these units should be recalled--these are major expenses for a family--just like buying a car that is unsafe or poorly designed--or is an outright Lemon. Samsungs reply to me was a boilerplate letter with links pasted in to their WELL KNOWN repair bulletins... Each one I had already known about and tried! Then they linked to how to get a repair ticket started, but then repeated their warranty rules. Samsung customer satisfaction? Rate that at ZERO. If you know anyone considering one of these Samsung units, steer them away--- SHARE this post. PLEASE SHARE!

I bought a Samsung refrigerator a year ago. I started to notice the temperature will rise in the freezer then drop causing food to sweat and frost over causing ice to stick together and not go through the icemaker. Called Samsung multiple times and got the runaround from one department to another department never heard back. The ice cubes are so big they get stock in the opening and fails to fall into the cup. Because the temperature fluctuates ice cubes sweat stick together when the temperature drops again now theyre too big to fall through the opening so youre constantly taking the icemaker tray out breaking up the ice. This refrigerator has made me so sick that Im buying a new one and Im going to donate this one to the goodwill. Its better than nothing for someone who needs a refrigerator.

Have called Samsung customer service several times in last 6 months. Have spoken with several representatives from the company. I have described the issue and all have had different fixes. One told me to reset controls, one told me to shut down ice maker, one told me it needed to be leveled, one told me they would send a service tech out. Refrigerator is 2 yrs old! The one it replaced was 20+ years old. Really think that Samsung should fix for free or give me option to buy another brand. Real piece of junk! Model RF220NCTABC/AA French Door type.

This is the short version of our nightmare with Samsung. Dishwasher (Dishwasher DW80F6000TS/AA) turned itself on at about 2:30 in the morning. Water backed up into sink and overflowed on countertops, then into cupboards and flooded the entire kitchen floor. Tried to turn it off from button on top of washer door. It kept coming back on and continued flooding. Finally turned off circuit breaker in garage. That stopped the washer and water. Called Samsung next day. Very polite lady apologized and promised us that Samsung would repair washer and fix any water damage. They gave us claim numbers for both washer and repairs. Rep from independent Samsung came from Tampa. He took panel off bottom of washer and took a quick look with flashlight. Then had me turn on circuit breaker. He ran it for 15 seconds and said it wasnt the dishwasher. As he was leaving he told me to keep the circuit breaker OFF as Samsung may want this unit shipped to New Jersey for further inspection. Obviously he didnt tell Samsung this. A rep from Samsung sent an email weeks later saying they were denying claims indicating that our dishwasher was fine per their Tampa rep. Homeowners insurance requested estimates from general contractors. $50,000 is the most current one. Its been over 3 months now and we have a company that deals with this kind of issue working with us get this resolved. They said it could take up to 9 months. NEVER USE SAMSUNG!!!

Horrible. Spent thousands on the refrigerator and now I see filter light on and learn I need to spend $45 every 6 months to replace water filter. Also, microwave filter needs to be replaced every 6 months as well- only $11 for that. Why didnt the Lowes salesman tell me I would need to spend additional money every 6 months and replace these filters? Also, when I called customer service I needed to ask him to spell out what he was saying because I could not understand a word. Not sure which country I reached but it sure wasnt the US. I will not even go into the fact that I also bought a Samsung electric oven/cooktop and needed to replace the cooktop after 3 months because it cracked. Samsung products are horrible. I will never purchase another Samsung appliance again.

I purchased it new 12/08, Model RB215LABP, from Lowes. We had problems with the unit maintaining temperature in both the refrigerator & freezer. It was apparently stemming from power surges. I cant remember the first time I contacted Samsung, but I was told to unplug the unit and wait 5 minutes. This happened on several occasions, with food spoilage occurring in several of the instances. On 11/23/2011, a power surge blew out a relay switch which cost $272 to replace. On April 26, 2012 a power surge knocked out the unit again. I contacted Samsung and I was referred to the Executive Complaint Dept. I have not returned their calls (2) yet. I want to consult with the law firm handling the class action lawsuit first.

Our dishwasher didnt clean very well, we often had to redo dishes. At about 11 months after we bought it, it stopped working altogether. It was still under warranty, but we had also purchased an extended warranty. We called Samsung, they referred us to an authorized repair shop. We contacted them, a guy came out and said it was a broken drain motor. He said its a common problem in Samsung dishwashers. He said hed order the part and let us know when it comes in. He expected it to take 1-2 weeks. After 2 weeks without hearing from him, we contacted his shop. They said the parts had not arrived, well call you when they do. Another 2 weeks go by and we havent heard from them so we called them again and asked why its been a month already and we still have no dishwasher. We were told the technician would call us back. After another week, we had not heard from the technician so we contacted Samsung. Samsung said theyd check into it and call us back but after 2 more weeks, we hadnt heard from them. We then contacted Samsung via online complaint and were told there was never a ticket generated. We did a live chat, gave them the info we had, whom we had talked to about the parts etc. They had no record of it. I have a 3-page transcript of the conversation. We sent another copy of our purchase agreement (we had done this the first time) and heard from them 2 days later. They told us we were out of warranty and had to talk with the extended warranty people. This is after we had reported the problem while we were still under warranty (When we called the first time, they (Samsung) looked it up, told us we were still under warranty and thats when they gave us the info on the authorized technician shop to contact). They told us we have to contact the extended warranty company, which we did. They submitted for payment from Samsung so we could get the drain motor, and the drain hose. Samsung refused to pay for the drain hose part or labor. They said theyd pay for the motor but not the hose. They told us that we have to pay for and install the hose ourselves. They consider the hose a consumer installed part. This is a built in, under counter dishwasher. We tried to explain that it makes no sense since the drain hose is connected to the drain motor. If the hose does not drain properly, it could be the cause of the motor failure. Besides that, if we mess with putting the hose on and the motor fails again, they could come back at us to say we didnt install the hose correctly, therefore another fix of the motor wouldnt be covered under the warranty. We are quite frustrated at this point and dont know where to turn or what to do next.

After many calls to Samsung, they said they would fix it if it was the SE problem again but we would need to pay the technician if it was anything else. Ive been without a microwave for over 3 months trying to resolve this. Is there a class action suit filed yet?

I can only repeat what these other unhappy customers are saying. I have managed not to call a serviceman and have relied on internet solutions. Ive had my French door model for 2 years and I have to defrost it about every 2 months. I love the way I can pack a lot of food in it, but I dont have time to fool with this. Usually after 6-8 weeks I hear the noise and here I go getting out my ice chests. This last time was worse and the whole back panel of the refrigerator got frozen. It had dripped down into my lunch meat for a couple of weeks before I realized where the water was coming from. It ran OK for a week and then the noise came again. Now, the temperature is 58, and it says the freezer is -2, but it all my frozen boxes are wilted, and no ice. Its been the worst appliance by far that Ive had as far as problems that are too expensive to get fixed, and time consuming for me.

Thinking of a Samsung fridge? Stop, turn, and run away as fast as you can. Compressor on our 6 month old unit began failing nearly two months ago. Terribly loud noises coming from compressor. Over 2 dozen calls to customer service resulted in a list of stupid hoops to jump through. Level the appliance, reset temp, buy and replace water filter... Blah, blah, blah. After 4 weeks, they finally sent technician to look at it. I was told noise was coming from inside compressor (duh) and that there was nothing he could do with it. 3 more weeks passed with no followup from Samsung. So three days ago, fridge totally shot craps. $300 worth of food ruined. Now Im pissed. So now they opened up a 4th case number, and are going to send a repair technician. Problem is, the repair company listed on service confirmation is same company that visited us first time. The same company that is not equipped to work on internal elements of the unit. Meanwhile, were living out of coolers. These people are by far THE WORST I have EVER dealt with in my life. No class, crappy products. Clueless. I no longer want it fixed. I want the piece of crap out of my house. I will never again buy any Samsung branded product. Where can I sign on to a class action suit?

Our Samsung refrigerator RFG298HDRS stopped dispensing water. At first I could remove the 4 month old filter and put it back in and the dispenser worked for 2 weeks. Every 2 weeks I would do this. Finally I replaced the filter and it would not give us any water at all. I was using Samsung filters Model DA29-00020B. Samsung tech the first time had me checking the 2 ice makers that would not work. They told me I had knock off filters from Amazon. Then I took the filter out and tried the water everything began to work. Ice makers ran and water dispensed. Called Tech support again. The guy told me that this was the first thing they should have had me try. Since that works its a bad filter. Well. I have now purchased 7 filters spent over $200 and still NOTHING works. I have noticed that Samsung has changed the filter a little too. Different label, Smaller center hole than the original for water to enter the filter however even the larger hole filters which I still had did not work.... Also the literature in the new filters boxes is not accurate. It states to put the replacement label date on the installed filter which there are NO longer any labels supplied and it also states to remove the BLUE cap... The cap is white. Even after buying the filters at Lowes they do not work. Samsung swears to me the fridge is ok since it works without the filter.... I have a tech coming out in 2 weeks the soonest they could arrive. But the techs tell me Samsung does not provide support for them in trouble shooting either. Samsung needs to change the way they do business! As much as they charge for these refrigerators, this is consumer robbery. My fridge is only 3 years old.

We bought new home and furnished with new Samsung kitchen appliances. Within the first four weeks, my wife start to notice tiny rust spots inside sheet metal tub of dishwasher. We called Lowes where we had purchased the appliances. The Lowes sales associate called Samsung dealer support customer service and they scheduled an in-home technician visit. The technician cancelled the appointment 2 hours before showing up and re-scheduled again. I took time off from work during week day for the technician visit. When technician showed up, he assessed that it is in fact rusting. He has seen parts corroded before but never this fast on the sheet metal. He said he can fix/repair things but with rust he cannot do anything. The unit needs to be exchanged. I asked him to take pictures for his documentation which he was not thinking off so he did. I waited a week but did not hear anything. So, I called and put on hold for half hour because Samsung customer service said they cannot locate any information on technician visit and they are now tracking him down. After half hour gone, I asked the agent to sort this internal between Samsung departments and get back to me. Another week gone by, no one followed up so I called again. This time was exact repeat of week before, put on hold again for half hour and still no information available from technicians visit. Like the week before, the agent asked me of the name of technician who visited our house. At this point, I was extremely frustrated and told the agent that this is something Samsung should know why customer has to call each week to sort out Samsung internal process. As a customer, I expect resolution of my problem not to help Samsung of their back office issues. I expect someone to take ownership of the issue, follow-up with whomever and get back. I ended called after half hour when agent could not locate the technician or any details of his visit. Later in the evening, I called again to see if the agent was able to find technician or find any information, the result was same. However, agent promised that someone call me next business day without me calling them back.I received a call from Samsung executive customer service that they now have the findings of the technician and indeed there dishwasher is getting rust. However, the cannot offer any exchange because the rust is cosmetic issue and they cannot offer any exchange. They cannot offer any other option and suggested to consult with the retailer. When I asked who is going to reimburse for installation cost of the dishwasher, I was told that Samsung will not reimburse. When I asked, who will reimburse for my time including time off from work for in-home technician visit and subsequent calls over three week dealing with this lemon? The answer was sorry we dont offer anything. I asked to speak to senior leadership; I was told there is no one that the agent can forward the call to.At this point, I have decided to work with Lowes to see if I can return all Samsung appliances worth over $5000 including front loading washer and dryer, large French door fridge and off course this defective dishwasher. I cannot trust the quality and workmanship of Samsung products. Period! What a shame, a company continues to make defective products. This is not the first time I have this experience, back in 2009 when I bought 55 high-end LCD TV, its LCD panel went out after first year and when they replaced the new LCD panel, six months later, it malfunctioned again resulting in swapping to a LED TV in working with their executive customer service.

I like the fact that that you can have two separate oven space with two different temperature settings or one large one. On top of the range are 5 burners & each one is a different size. The middle long burner is nice for a griddle. It would be nice if one of the smaller burners was up front. The large burner is a real power house & I seldom use it. When I do use it, the low setting is plenty & sometimes still too much. The oven door window is large enough to see in either top or bottom oven. The black top is hard to keep clean & with any stove the front knobs get splattered with grease but they come off for easier cleaning.

I purchased the most expensive dishwasher at the store, it was a Samsung DW990044dBA. Over a $1000.00. I bought the best hoping for good results and little hassle. The appliance worked for 4 days only. There was over 4 service calls in 2 months, and lots of correspondence with Samsung, and my dishwasher hasnt worked for much of the two months waiting on service repair times. There were several issues with the top rack sticking, leaking through the door, and breaking down. My countertop has been damaged from steam leaking through the door, my floor has been damaged from leaking on the floor. Samsung wont compensate me at this time and have denied my request for a new dishwasher. Samsung is complicated and confusing to deal with as their departments dont talk or share files. A person needs to be good with a computer, and verbally strong to deal with this company as they require lots of communication, pictures, calls, time and patience. First and foremost, Samsung does not have a clue when it comes to customer service. Theyre blinded by their policies. As a matter of fact, they have a department that goes by the name of Executive Customer Relations (ECR) which is intended to be there to help with escalated issues and even the manager of this department who goes by the name of Prosper, admitted to me that there is nobody in the company that we, as customers, can speak to that has the ability to determine if a replacement product or refund should be made. You may let this be a warning, if you are reading this, that Samsung truly does not have customer service support if you come across any major issues with your products. We have had our Samsung refrigerator for only 3 months and within the first 3 days we had our first service call for a defective water system. Then 2 months later the same issue and another major issue occurred and they plan to take our entire unit apart, and rebuild a brand new unit. I bought a brand new unit and do not wish to have a rebuilt unit as anyone in my shoes would feel. Unfortunately because they do not have a person who can help, I want to be sure that you, the consumer, has the chance to be forewarned about the reality of the customer service in this company. At the end of the day, there are multiple reviews about Samsung quality issues and service issues. Trust what you read as I wish I did when I was shopping for this. I love their TVs as I have a few and have not had issues, but their appliances are not their strong point. Just be careful with Samsung and really think about if you want to deal with this. They have only 1 star on this Consumer Affairs page, which should speak for itself.

I spent big money on new kitchen upgrades - all Samsung (Fridge, dishwasher, Microwave, high-end range). A few months after using the range, the first knob broke. It LOOKED like stainless, same as the range itself, its plastic. Long story short, I had to replace ALL of the knobs in a short time. They MELT or crack, and when you need new ones, Samsung wants FIFTY BUCKS EACH for a piece of garbage plastic. Their customer service department couldnt give a darn (Im pretty sure I was speaking to someone in the Philippines with no power to help me.) I found copies online for $7.50 each, which I am waiting to arrive. Hopefully, they will fit at a fraction of the Samsung price. The best that they offered was a one-time visit for parts only by the tech to repair the problem. So, if I get a new tech or one that doesnt care and a 2nd visit is necessary, I pay for the labor and parts on the visit. Again, I pay labor and diagnosis the 1st visit they pay for parts, but when asked if the tech needs to come back, will they pay for parts? Their reply is, You can call us and we will see. Translation: Screw you. I have spent over $5,000 in the last 3 years with them and I wont ever buy another SAMSUNG PRODUCT again. EVER! General Motors did the same thing to me at 42K miles when the head gasket let loose and blew the motor on my car. I now own Toyotas & Hondas. Koreans build crap as do the Chinese. If you want quality, stick to Sony, Hitachi, or Toshiba. I am now on a campaign to spread the word about Samsungs quality issues. $5,000 gone for 3 products that were crap within the warranty period or just after. Beware America. Dont ever buy any Korean-made products at all. That includes Hyundai/Kia. This was a Samsung Plasma TV model # PN60E7000FFXZA.

Our brand new refrigerator broke so we called, it took them a week to come, another week to get the part, another 2 weeks to get another part. Its now been 4 1/2 weeks. I said after the first 2 1/2 weeks they should replace the fridge. Samsung... said no. I am disabled and I dont drive. My husband travels and we live in the country so we buy a lot of food and then he flies out. We had just stocked the fridge. I lost over 1000K in food the first time. I called and spoke with a guy about getting reimbursed on the food loss and he said List everything and they would jump on it. A rude lady called me back after the fridge was fixed and said Samsung only gives out 200$ as a courtesy. Why did I go through all the hassle of listing everything if they only give 200$. I forgot to mention that my medicine has to be refrigerated so we had to go get ice every day and again I dont drive. It was horrible. My poor son had to go get us food every day and that was a terrible expense because eating out is so expensive. So now for the worst part. Three weeks later the refrigerator broke again. I called this time and said I just want the money to replace. Please hurry because we cant go buy a new one until we get the money from the old one. That was 6-21-17... Its now 7- 12-15. I was told it should only take 2-3. Its been three weeks and when you load my ticket number in the website it does not give any information. When the refrigerator broke the second time... (YES IT BROKE AGAIN). I even told the ride lady that it was not running well when she called about the first 200$. She said she would have someone call me to set up repairs etc. I never got that phone call. I lost another fridge full of food. So I get one more 200$. Thats all! I just now got an update on the first 200$.That took 2 months. If it takes that long to get the money for the refrigerator it will be terrible for my family. Im not sure what to do? Every time I call everyone says that they will try and get whomever to speed up the process but so far it has been a nightmare. It has caused so much more than just a loss from a fridge. Its been a terrible domino effect. But so far I have lived with no refrigerator for 2 1/2 months... Could you do that? I have had company during this time twice. My son graduated high school and the whole family came. Something should be done and Samsung owes me something more than just replacement cost of my refrigerator. Im very upset. If you can help me please let me know.

After 13 months and 1 month after the warranty expired. I called Samsung Appliances and reported that I had a software glitch. After the unit finishes a cooking cycle the LED Panel clears itself out, wipes out the memory settings including the clock and takes 5 to 10 retries to reset it. I purchased this at Sears along with other Samsung products including a top of the line SS side by side Fridge etc. This microwave is a top of the line over the stove SS model #ME21F707MJT/AC manufactured date March 2016. Samsung position is too bad. Out of warranty you pay for our bad software design and motherboard. They will not confirm if this is an isolated or general issue with this machine. Stay away from Samsung. They dont care. From this day forward I will never purchase another Samsung Appliance including the Galaxy Phone. My S7 which is ready to be replaced, also my pending purchase of a 4K OHLED large panel TV will not include Samsung. Going back to SONY. They are a bunch of ** and Issac the telephone rep apologized for my problems but that is all he can do. Youre on your own. I strongly stay away from Samsung. Purchased Samsung Oven (flex), Washer, Dryer, and Dishwasher. 11/24/2017. Washer completely died last March - unable to fix, wiring harness issue. This week Oven has taken on a life of its own - no matter what you push (including warming drawer) the broiler comes on. You’ll get a C21 overheat warning and door locks. Customer Service gave me the number of a phone repair company to call for repairs. I can promise you I will never purchase anything in future with Samsung on it - absolutely no quality.

Last September we had purchased a Samsung refrigerator. A month later the Slide and Reach pantry flap broke; very cheap design. I had some personal issues with my aging parents and was unable to do anything until May. First, I had difficulty communicating with the customer agent as well as being told that the part number in the manual may be different on their end. Really??? After almost 40 minutes they said the part would be shipped. On July 2, I called and again there was an issue understanding the reason why they did not ship the part. Again, after another 40 minute conversation trying to clarify what part I needed he assured me he understood and will ship the part. It finally came July 11. Guess what? WRONG PART. Sent me the drawer and not the flap! So, I call again. After 10 minutes of listening and not understanding the woman on the other end, I asked to talk to someone who spoke better English. After 10 minutes on hold, a supervisor (not speaking any better English) told me this part was not covered under the warranty to be shipped and that only a technician could order it; technician NOT covered under the warranty. At least, this is what I understood of the broken conversation. I will do my best to make sure that any major appliance purchased in the future will be made or serviced by the United States such as I have been trying to do with the things I purchase now.

My most recent item is a fridge freezer 600 liter. Just out of warranty my fridge temperature kept going up. I rang Samsung and they were very good and helpful. The mechanic came out to fix the problem. He said that he had come across this problem before and that they have fixed the problem with newer models. 10 months later my power safety switch kept tripping out after the electrician and I spent hours trying to find the source of the problem and found it to be the fridge. I have had other Samsung products and have had problems. I would never buy or have another Samsung product.

I tell Samsung this is not normal and they say Well its past warranty so you are on your own. Over $1,000 to repair to the fridge is basically worthless. My range stopped working on January 12th. I called Samsung. I was told there isnt a warranty and that they dont support their products for more than a year. If I spend a few thousand dollars on an appliance, I expect better. The person I spoke to was rude and short and basically said tough. I know getting those calls from unhappy customers isnt always fun, but usually manufacturers of product take pride in their work and stand behind it. It is what it is. Turns out a wire, for some reason shorted out on 12th of January. My range is 2.5 years old. When that happened, the techs ordered some parts thinking it was the terminal that blew (guess it happens a lot). They had to order parts. They came out on January 18th and guess what? It wasnt the terminal. It was a short in a wire. But also the motherboard blew out. They ordered a new one and came back on January 20th, but the new board fresh out of the box, was cracked and didnt work. So they ordered another one. They came today, January 25th and that board, fresh out of the box was cracked also. I have been without a working range for 2 weeks now! I contacted Samsung about their less than stellar quality of parts and they informed me it was the service techs were not Samsung Authorized. Ha! They sure are. I am not opposed to paying for service. Its like a new car, you have to have service it. For me its about the quality of the product.I have never in my life been so disappointed in a product I purchased. I am so deeply discouraged in this company right now. How can Samsung, in good faith promote a product that only last a couple years? Then all of the parts that have been ordered are broken also? Thats wrong. The less than acceptable quality portrayed by Samsung is completely unacceptable. The moral of the story is this. I will never again purchase a Samsung Product. I will not recommend it to a friend and I will not give a 5 star rating to this kind of support, service or quality. I am telling everyone I know to never invest in Samsung. You do not stand behind your products. The quality of the product is less than stellar and consumers deserve better. I deserve better!

I am highly frustrated generally over the above company name products. Now heres why: I am a big fan of the Samsung brand, my wife is also too. 99% of all our electronics products are all Samsung products. From cell phones to TVs, tablet, microwave etc, etc. You name it. Here are some CAUSES: I have 4 TVs, in my home I bought, all Samsung products. First time my wife TV went bad, you can hear the audio from the TV but no picture. I called Samsung customer service to explain my situation. On several occasions, I got hung up on. I tried and kept fighting till I finally got someone to talk to about the problem. My sorryful appeal was heard and the problem was resolved. Couple of month later again, Im having the same problem with another TV. Called Samsung, again, it was another fight. Finally, I was told it was a software issue and I needed to buy flash drive and download the new version. I insisted not to spend money over some so-called software so they downloaded the new version and mail it out to me. I then uploaded it to the TV but did not solve the problem either. To date, I still have the TV and planning to trash it. I also have a 10.1 Samsung galaxy 4, that is giving me problems. I took it back to Best Buy, and they kept it for two weeks fixing it. To date, I still have the tablet with the same problem. Now, its my microwave. WHAT IS WRONG WITH SAMSUNGS MODERN DAYS PRODUCT? They will go OFF on you right after their warranties. Im frustrated big time over Samsung modern day products.

Unfortunately I purchased a Samsung dishwasher when it was first launched so consumer reviews were not available then. I wish I had the foresight of returning the dishwasher immediately during the first month of purchase because my dishwasher never thoroughly cleaned my dishes. I was so amused by the lights and buttons that I ignored the dishwashers failures. After numerous service calls to the vendor, the repairman decided to replace the unit. My husband and I purchased this Samsung clunker in 2011. It is bottom freezer type as I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and could no longer manage bending to reach contents. About four months ago, I noticed that the milk was not cold enough to suit me and thus began our ordeal. I can cut out a lot of detail, as it is so very similar to all the other cases, but it concerns the freezing up of the motor and fan in the back. This does not affect the freezer, in our case. The end result so far, (we have another part and new repair company coming in three days), is, after many repair calls, the thing sounds like a B29, but does nothing. I believe, with all my heart, that nothing will come of the new part, and we will be back in the same mess within a few weeks. The ringerreally was something that happened early on. I found a guy on YouTube who made a video showing how to take off the back and defrost the darn thing with a hair dryer! I dont understand, though I know nothing about how to proceed with this myself, why this problem is not cause for a class action lawsuit. Samsung seems to be getting away with murder.

We purchased a new Samsung Refrigerator two months ago. (French doors with two drawers) Overall, I am satisfied with the refrigerator, with the exception of nothing really fits inside the left side door shelves. The issue I am having was with the customer support area. We spilled ice tea in the refrigerator and it has seeped under the glass on the bottom shift. I contacted the 1 800 726 7864 phone number and was told it would be over a 30 minute hold time and I could leave a number for a return call from a technician and I did. The call back was from an individual with not a technician with experience. She more interested in collecting purchasing data than support and I final explained all I wanted was help in how to remove the shelf so I could clean it. There was a long hold and she was looking up answers from a prompter and taking more time to key the conversation than help. Since I was having issues understanding the person and we were wasting our time I asked to be transferred to someone else. I was told they could not do that because the call came to her area basically. Totally disappointed in there customer support for such easy question. If you purchase from Samsung you will get little support from customer services.

We bought this refrigerator when we built our new home back in July 2012. From day one, the ice maker didnt work right. I found myself waiting for ice for what seemed like forever. As time went on, it made less and less ice. Then it stopped making cubed ice and it almost was the consistency of a snow cone. Then another issue with it spitting out a good amount of water before the ice would come out, leaving water on my beautiful new hardwood floors. Not to mention it usually got all over myself as well. One day I noticed that the door was not in the track, allowing the cold air to leak out around the doors. I thought this might be why we were having the ice maker problems. So I gave it another week to see if the issue would resolve itself after fixing the doors. It broke... I dont know what in the world happened, it just stopped working altogether. So I called the company and after telling them I was completely done with this refrigerator and the constant ongoing issues, I wanted it fixed ASAP. The service company they referred me to said they couldnt come out for a week. I find this unacceptable on many levels. So I called Samsung again to tell them about the delay. They informed me that I would be hearing from an executive team member in 24-48 hours. Three days later, I called them because I never got a call. The employee apologized, took note of my complaint and assured me I would hear from someone in another 24-48 hours. Here I am, 3 days later, and I am yet to get a phone call. Like many other of the complaints I read, I too have had to eat out and spend countless dollars. And of course I had just gone to the grocery store the day before it broke completely. I will never buy another product from this company and I definitely would NEVER recommend Samsung to anyone.

Our refrigerator model number RF260BEAEWW and freezer stopped cooling on February 24. We called Samsung and a diagnostic repairman came to our home on February 27. It was determined that the compressor went out and someone else would need to come and replace the compressor. After a few follow up calls and being told they were waiting on the part the repairman came on March 14th. He replaced the compressor and the final test determined the unit was not holding pressure. After the 30 minute call we were informed by the repairman that we would receive a replacement refrigerator. We were given an exchange number ** and to expect a call from Samsung in the next day or so. We did not hear anything from Samsung so we called on March 18. At that time we were told the exchange process takes 12 business days and we would just have to wait. We explained to the representative on March 18th how difficult it is to go without a refrigerator for 3 weeks especially with 3 children. It is very expensive to buy meals (dinner and breakfast) daily. Plus, we had already had to throw away the contents of the freezer and refrigerator. The week prior we spent over 300.00 on groceries (including meat and seafood). Which if we could find the receipt we would submit to Samsung for reimbursement. But the receipt was nowhere to be found. March 23rd we called to follow up with the exchange process. We were told that we needed to supply a bill of sale for the exchange process. This was the first time we were told this. April 11th we followed up on the bill of sale. We were told that since we purchased the unit at an appliance outlet store the unit was damaged and Samsung would not do anything for us. STAY AWAY FROM SAMSUNG REFRIGERATORS.

Ice maker valve froze up. Samsung did not know what part number it was! How is that possible? Parts dept totally incompetent. Ask for a supervisor and waited 17 minutes, got voicemail. No return call. No surprise. They sent wrong part and will not allow it to be returned. I love the fridge design so I ignored other review warnings not to buy one. HUGE mistake. DO NOT BUY SAMSUNG. When a part fails, and it will, you will have a terrible time trying to talk to someone with ANY knowledge of the part you need. Totally incompetent in doing business.

My husband and I bought our refrigerator just one month shy of two years and the half door handle came off. We have in our area Cone Appliance Repair with the phone number of 9417273767 fax number 941-312-6265. They told us that it was due to cosmetic Error. How can you say that it is A error when you can open up this door with just a finger? We are now fighting to get someone to fix this but we were told by Samsung that we could hire a outside company because it’s only Kohl’s appliance repair in our area. So Maranda the supervisor that we are dealing with doesn’t want to bend my. Being a woman myself I don’t feel women should be in this type of business to make decisions that they don’t know the repair. Amanda came to our house. Wasn’t even here Five minutes. Took a picture sent it to a supervisor and here we are. I’d like to know where this class action lawsuit is in the Florida area. Can someone please contact me?

Ice maker failed shortly after warranty expired. I would not recommend purchasing this brand for a refrigerator. It is very disappointing because Ive loved my other Samsung products, but this ice maker issue a total disaster and Samsung has not remedied this widespread issue with their product.

Their refrigerator is defective, there is a class action lawsuit against them for this problem. This will be my 3rd repair in 4 months. Samsung doesnt care and will only offer partial refunds. They made me pay for repairs fully knowing the parts were defective.
