Dishwasher Model# DW80F600UTS/A. S/N B00AG9MD914188D. 4th repair ticket # **. We purchased a complete kitchen suite from Home Depot In Canton Ohio on 11/20/2013. They were delivered on black Friday and in the 13 months of owning this pile of appliance chunk I have lost 6 days of work, almost 8. Those lost wages could have gone to the purchase of a new dishwasher, not to mention dealing with the inabilities of Samsung Customer Service that couldnt seem to remember me and the same error 4 times (flashing delicate light). Of course they replace the parts, chasing an error that isnt in their manual because its an error that proves this unit is a lemon and they know it but they string you along telling you to unplug the unit for a couple of minutes and then plugging it in. Now I used to be a tech manager for a computer chain and that is the trick to reset the computer board inside the computer. Yes this dishwasher has some sort of motherboard if you will that needed replace on day 1 with all the other parts that were changed on this pile after this was built. In other words some people may have all the upgraded parts to the same model and are not having any issues, for the rest of us, were stuck paying for the recall. I have a complete Kitchen full of this Samsung junk, hell the phone Im using to type this review is a Samsung, which I thought was quality and comparable to an I phone. I will no longer support Samsung in anything they do. I will replace each and every piece of Samsung garbage I own and I will devote my energy into providing consumers with the reality of what Samsung is. They are a corporation that spit shines items to provide the illusion of quality, something that YUGO never did. People bought the car because it was cheap, same as Chrysler did with the K car. Consumers bought knowing that they werent paying for the name but for the car. Samsung has decided to have you pay for name because people recognize the name from cell phones and tvs. Trust me when I say this. They should not be in the appliance business, people should stick with the products their ancestors bought. Maytag, Amana, Frigidaire, and even Kenmore. I apologize to my late grandparents for purchasing this junk in the first place.Oh, and to you Samsung! You have lost another customer for life with your poor customer service and inability to relate to the consumer. By the way, your call centers need some help. Just another smoke screen for everyone to navigate. Good bye.

This has got to be the worse oven range I have ever had. It doesnt heat to the right temperature. Called service in and they replaced the circuit board to the stove and it still doesnt heat to the right temperature. The service guy says, Well, thats all we can do. So I guess I out of luck. Not much use in calling Samsung because they just give you the runaround. NEVER going to buy another Samsung product in my life, EVER the worse. Dont buy their products.

I ordered the Install and old appliance haul away when I bought my dishwasher. I got neither of these things. The all in one package is why I chose Samsung to begin with. The contractors who arrived with my appliance had no certifications to install anything nor did they bring any tools (I had to give them my tools). The contractors pulled my old dishwasher halfway out and said they couldnt go any further for fear of damaging the wall (the washer wasnt connected to the wall and any qualified installation tech or plumber would have known that). So they left me stuck with a dishwasher halfway out of place. I had to get a plumber to come out and finish the job which costed me money! I was also transferred 5 times because agents kept transferring me to the wrong department and had to call twice because while on hold I was transferred to the review line which took me off the call. After finally being transferred to the home appliance line the agent kept telling me he understood my frustration and he would be upset too if that happened to him. After I asked at the bare minimum compensate me for the the plumber having to come out he told me there was NOTHING he could do because it was XPOs fault not Samsung. Well I paid Samsung for a Samsung product so yes it is Samsungs fault! So Im out the money for a plumber!I have already left a complaint with the BBB and will not be ordering anything from such a dishonest company again. I was lied to when the Samsung website said installation and haul away. The best offer I got from the agent was they could send someone out the week after which is completely unacceptable because again my dishwasher was hanging halfway out! All the agents I talked to should feel ashamed of their terrible customer service and Samsung should be ashamed that they LIE on their website.

I bought my Samsung refrig in 2011 from Lowes and it needed repairs 3 times. First the control panel on door did not work. Second time it was a coil for the defrost. Third time it was a new motherboard. Now this is the fourth time and its doing the same thing. This item cost around $3000. I have lost thousands in food and waited weeks for parts. I want this to be replaced! Im at my wits end. Next step is BBB. I did buy the extended warranty from Lowes, but it will expire in January and then Im stuck with a lemon. Samsung, stick to tvs.

ACBP stands for A crappy built Product. We have all these same problems you all have had - water in crisper, temp reads 34 but temp is 62 degrees, freezing up panel. Why are we being treated so poorly by customer service? Doesnt the company realize that it will affect all of their product line with so many complaints and no follow up. I want one representative to follow me through the process to get a refund on this lemon. 20 calls, 50 questions repeated to their representatives, its ridiculous. HELP, I wont even give them 1 star!!!

Ceramic cooktop model# NE59J342*SS - Cooking sausage on 3-month-old stove (about the 3rd or 4th time using the burner). After cooking then cleaned stove top and noticed a very small crack on burner! I had no idea where it came from. Noticed there was a small crack about 3/8 in long. I called with complaint and received call from Starkey Williams for repair, was told to take photo. Photo was sent to Samsung. The person from customer service said it was not covered because the warranty does not cover physical damage and said something was dropped on it and broke it. Drop damage??? I never dropped anything on it. Samsung refused to cover it stating physical damage not covered under warranty. Samsung refused to consider this could be manufactured defect stating it was physical damage. There is no indications that anything was dropped on it. Executive customer relations put me on hold for 45 min and then I was disconnected twice after waiting to speak to supervisor. Then finally was able to reach supervisor voice mail (what a surprise!), left message to return call and hopefully I will hear something soon. But will probably be told the same thing not covered under warranty, still not happy. Stove was recommended by Lowes rep! Samsung is the worst company I have ever dealt with!! Still fighting to see what someone can do.UPDATED ON 09/02/2015: Update to my complaint about Ceramic cook top model# NE59J342*SS. After several calls to Samsung and from Starkey Williams with no solution except for me to pay out of pocket for the cost of parts, labor and repair of range (approximately $300.00 for new cooktop and $175.00 for service call). Since I had purchased this range less than three months ago, I became very frustrated and decided to contact Lowes with my problem. I informed them of the complaint and was told I should have come to them first. I then quoted to Lowes the electrical safety warning statement from page 6 of the Samsung user manual. If your appliance malfunctions or if fractures, cracks or splits appear, switch off all cooking zones, unplug the range from the AC wall outlet and contact your local service center. (That sounds like this is not a new complaint, may have happen to someone else?) I didnt know who the local service center was, so I contacted Samsung with no help. Lowes instructed me to contact Lowes Advantage warranty service. I did and again no help as their warranty only covers what Samsung warranty covers, and does not cover physical damage. So, now what? I looked on back of sales receipt for Lowes return policy and found at Lowes, customer satisfaction is their goal. So, I hoped they might be able to repair or replace the item since it was purchased less than 90 days ago. Second trip to Lowes and discussion with appliance sales person and manager I was granted a solution and that was to replace the damaged range with another same model range. Im happy Lowes was able to help me and hope that I dont have any problems with this range. The delivery person said he was surprised of problem with Samsung range as he felt Samsung was a good company and made good products. I hope hes right. Thank you Lowes for your support in this issue.

I bought total package from Lowes on 29th April 2018 and same delivered mid May. Already microwave is gone and called up Lowes. The service guy could not fix it and said it has major issue and took the microwave saying will advise by end of the day. Now it is three day no response from the service guy as well as Lowes. Today morning dishwasher door does not look. We tried to check the owner manual and DID the setting. Nothing works. I will never recommend this product again due to failure within six month and poor service.

Spent $2600 on a Samsung refrigerator that has never since day one of owning it, dispensed ice correctly. After months, customer service finally showed up 7:00pm to fix it. After leaving, it does the exact same thing. Called customer service again and Iesha who apparently was having a lousy day based on her attitude, rescheduled service in another week. Avoid this company! The model number is: RF23J9011SR/AA. Run far away! Weve owned the refrigerator over a year and never has it dispensed ice. The only way to get any is remove the whole ice device and chip it out. Great on the marriage!

Samsung Twin cooling plus. My fan in my refrigerator (Model #RFG297HDRS) started making noise and then stopped working all together on my refrigerator that is only 2 years old. Samsung support claims that there are no reports of this being a problem. That is not what I see checking reviews on the internet. Wish companies took quality of products more seriously. Very DISAPPOINTED.

I would never recommend Samsung products and the customer service is completely lame. I have a Samsung washing machine that had a recall because the drum wobbled so much. It wobbled so much that it loosened a hose and poured water all over my house…. My laundry is on my second level and I have a cat walk that water poured down into my living room and hallway on my first level and ran through my ceiling on my first level and through my walls down to my basement…leaving water spots on my first level ceiling and damaging several ceiling tiles in my finished basement. I didn’t notice all of the damage and the damaged tiles in the basement until months later when I had another issue with the washing machine and Samsung sent a third-party service company out here to repair it. They repaired the machine and left. Unfortunately, the service company called, Unique Repair (who I would never recommend, as they do not stand behind their work) managed to forget to connect the hose, which led to another incident of water pouring from my second level down my first level and through my walls to the basement. Fortunately, I was able to get the service techs back quickly to stop the machine and drain it, although the damage had already been done. We went into the basement; the service tech also taking his own photos. This second time around the water even damaged more basement ceiling tiles and left stains on my first level ceiling. Both companies, the service company and Samsung are trying to put the blame on each other. How lame of Samsung, since it is Samsung’s faulty washing machine, under warranty and Samsung sent the third party out here to represent them. The first time it happened it was solely on Samsung. The second time on the repair company. Either way, somebody should be responsible for the damage caused in my house. I have suggested to both companies that they split it, but they do not respond and or communicate with each other. Samsung does not stand behind their products. I am an innocent consumer that has been extremely inconvenienced twice by this Samsung washing machine and damage caused to my home, and Samsung support has been completely lame. Nonresponsive and not willing to provide any resolution. I would never recommend purchasing from Samsung. The last I spoke to Samsung customer support she was closing my case, I had no previous knowledge that my case was being closed, because it had been two weeks and she wanted me to provide quotes for the repair. During the world crisis going on it was difficult to get someone out here to quote me on the repair. Actually, It was against the law at the time, as nonessential workers would be fined if working during that time. I finally provided her with one quote and waiting to get another, so she would reopen the case, and she has not responded to me. I’ve reached out multiple times with no response. Seriously, what kind of company operates like this? I am a business owner myself and I would never treat my clients/customers this way. I stand behind my work. I’ve had to spend numerous hours dealing with both companies and getting nowhere. When I did nothing to cause this situation. I’m sure they are hoping to wear me down.

We purchased this refrigerator because it was a very good looking refrigerator and Samsung usually has good products. First thing we had the problem was the LED light on front of refrigerator stopped working. Next problem we had was so does freezing and other things freezing in the refrigerator. Next problem we had with this refrigerator is refrigerator and freezer both quit working. And after this was fixed the next problem is the refrigerator will not get cold. Keeps going from 60 degrees down to 40 and back up again. The best way we could find to solve the problem was to get rid of this piece of junk.

We bought a Samsung stove 5 weeks ago, and purchased the 5 yr extended warranty. We were told this would ensure quick response on appliance issues. It has worked well for 5 weeks. Last week while baking @ 350, we heard something crackling and opened the oven to find the inside door glass had completely spider-cracked and glass fell everywhere the inside of the oven. Since the stove was only 5 weeks old and we had the 5 yr extended warranty, a simple door replacement would solve the issue.15 phone calls (store, 3rd-party service company, Samsung) and several days later we are frustrated. The first roadblock was getting someone to arrange a service call. After sending a copy of the store receipt, there was more delay while the 3rd party service company had Samsung validated the receipt - seriously? Finally they call to dispatch a tech, and was told they are coming to access and take a picture to evaluate the need. I offered to take the picture and email it, and again indicated that replacing the oven door would solve the issue. So today, the 3rd party company called saying Tech was on the way. Tech shows up (no part), takes a picture and notes yes, the door glass is defective and leaves. Its now 8 days and counting with no functioning oven, and no ETA. Ive reached out to the Lowes store Manager (who has been very helpful, but also hamstrung by the same bureaucracy with 3rd party maintenance company & Samsung procedures). While I like the 2 Samsung appliances I own, given this first customer service experience, I would not purchase another Samsung appliance. We all know Appliances will break - but if one cant get a NEW appliance serviced even with the 5 yr extended warranty... Purchase from a different brand that supports good warranty service.

My dishwasher, another model Samsung (they all seem to have similar issues)
My dishwasher, another model Samsung (they all seem to have similar issues), worked great first 6-8 months. Then would shut off and need to be restarted every few loads. Then every load, eventually several times for each load. Dishes were not clean, but covered in tiny particles of crud. Started to smell, with black gunk around front seals. Had to remove spray arms and filter to clean them out which appeared to resolve the multiple starts issue, but even after cleaning the seals, not the dirty wet dog smell. Began pre-washing everything before loading, to the point that a dishwasher was somewhat redundant. Dishes came out dirtier than they went in, requiring rewashing. Handle grips on front of racks began degrading and uprights on racks started breaking off. Within three months the multiple starts per load started again, and quickly reached the point of not running at all. Dismantled again, also cleaning out float on side of machine under metal panel. Took off handle grips which were leaving a sticky residue on anything (including hands) that touched them. Crud stuck under there too. Job took over an hour. A repairman may have done it faster, but the only $ I will resentfully sink into this clunker now is the dump fee.Its not yet two years old, does not clean dishes, is falling apart, and smells disgusting. It needs about an hours work outside the cabinet every few months to clean out minor amounts of well rotted compost that it is incapable of disgorging on its own. And it still smells like a dirty wet dog. I think these machines might be a health hazard in addition to being utterly useless. Will never buy a Samsung appliance again. They should stick to phones.

Samsung is giving me the royal run-around in trying to: * get a 3rd new replacement refrigerator. I bought a 5-year warranty from Home Depot, where I originally bought this refrigerator on 7/15/13; it arrived damaged out of the box; the 2nd refrigerator, which is sitting in my kitchen, wont make ice and the temp in the fridge doesnt get above 54.6 (so all food has spoiled!)* get my current fridge repaired -- TO NO AVAIL! I have called and spoken with 6 different Samsung reps -- one told me parts were on order from Via Appliance; another said well have to refund your money for the fridge but wont refund my $ for the 5-year warranty (I have to deal w/ Home Depot for that!), and yet another said they couldnt help me -- I have to contact their external affairs dept. but refused to give me a phone number. It seems the ONLY appliance repair company that Samsung has under contract in Northern Virginia is so backed up with Samsung refrigerator repairs from customers that theyre refusing to take new service requests from Samsung. There seem to be so many problems with these refrigerators that appliance repair shops are REFUSING to repair them -- even when NEW and even when THEYRE under contract with Samsung. Unbelievable!!! STAY AWAY FROM SAMSUNG REFRIGERATORS!!! Theyre not only a piece of junk, their customer service is non-existent!

I purchased several Samsung kitchen appliances from Lowes in July of 2011.
I purchased several Samsung kitchen appliances from Lowes in July of 2011. They are very attractive to look at. However, not quite two years after purchase I noticed the back wall of the refrigerator was icing up. I checked to make sure the items in the refrigerator were spaced well and not blocking the vents where it was icing up. After a number of attempts to stop this action, I called Lowes. I was told that since I had not purchased the extended warranty, I was out of luck. They did send an appliance repairman out who looked in the refrigerator and called Samsung Tech Support. I was told the advice given by Samsung was that I should unplug the refrigerator and leave it thaw out completely, then plug it back in and it should be fine. I wasnt happy about this solution and called Lowes who told me that I was encouraged to purchase the extended warranty when I purchased the appliance (evidently they knew something about Samsung appliances that I didnt). I was told that unless I followed the instructions from Samsung there was nothing they (Lowes) could do to help. I did as I was told, thereby losing $$$ worth of food I had purchased for expected guests. When I plugged the refrigerator back in, it worked...for two days. Started frosting up again. I called Samsung. They sent out a repairman, 10 days later. He looked at it, said he had to order parts. He would call when they came in. Its now approximately 3 weeks after discovering the problem. I waited another week to hear from the repairman, finally called and was told part just came in. Repairman came out 3 days later to fix the problem. He installed the part. Refrigerator worked for 2 days. Now would not cool below 66 degrees. I called Samsung. Repairman could not come out for 3 days. He was heavily scheduled. Ill bet he was...all with defective refrigerators. Finally he came out and said there was another part on the thermostat that was defective. He had seen it the first time but it appeared fine. $325.00 repair bill and over $300.00 worth of spoiled food, restaurant bills with guests, and finally the refrigerator works. The whole issue left me with 6 weeks of no refrigeration. Samsung said they would reimburse me for up to $200 worth of food. Ive submitted the necessary papers and documents 3 times...still no reimbursement. DONT BUY SAMSUNG REFRIGERATORS!!! YOU WILL SURELY REGRET IT!!!

We bought Samsung side by around May 2012. It has had several issues beginning almost immediately. The front panel went out twice and during the second time all the food spoiled. The technician had the nerve to say it was our fault because someone had to hold the buttons on the panel for it to go off. When I told him we were sleeping and woke up to this issue, he called us liars. Then a few months later this crappy appliance began making a horrible noise. This time a motor had to be replaced. So for two days we had to defrost it, so no food in our house for 4 days (2 to defrost/ 2 to get cold enough for food). So today, not even 3 years later, a tech came out and said the entire rear panel of the freezer and all components behind it need to be replaced. When is enough, enough? We are so angry they just wont replace this crappy Samsung refrigerator. DO NOT BUY A SAMSUNG APPLIANCE!!!

I purchased my Samsung refrigerator (Side By Side # RS267TDRS) in July 2012. It has been serviced 7 times since then for the same issue. The refrigerator continues to have ice build up and fails about every 6 to 8 months. I purchased at Sears and got the service contract. What a mistake. Samsung refused to back up anything. I own multiple Samsung appliances ranging from the Refrigerator to TVs to DVRs. They have lost me as a customer. I would never buy another of their products. I have called their Customer Service and get the same lame excuse: You are out of warranty. Well I wouldnt be out of warranty if it hadnt been fixed by Sears under the service contract the first time. I have spent over $700.00 on a $1600.00 refrigerator in the first for years of ownership. What a sad, pathetic company.

My fridge works fine so far, but Im getting scared reading the other reviews. Our problem so far has been with the water filter. The ones carried by Lowes dont work in our fridge and cant get them anywhere else without ordering online and risking it being the wrong filter. Believe it or not, the notches on one part of the filter are different from the ones carried by Lowes. So far Samsung has said that the filter from their website, which will cost me more money because of shipping charges, is the one that works. Yeah, well see. They just dont seem to care, either Lowes or Samsung.

Our Samsung fridge, purchased with our townhome in 2012 has an obnoxious odor coming from it. We have removed everything, turned off, cleaned thoroughly, restarted and still the odor persists. Smell does not come from anywhere specific (that we can locate) but is strong enough to permeate throughout our house. We called Samsung and were told to check our fridge for rotten food - daaah! We are not that stupid and frankly feel insulted. Looking at comments on Google, we believe that Samsung has a problem with this unit but does not want to admit it. Any suggestions or advice?

I purchased a Samsung dishwasher serial # DW80F600UTW at Home Depot in October 2013. The machine worked well until May 2015 when it began flashing an Error Code- smart auto +heavy=overfill. I contacted an approved service provider who contacted Samsung Technical Support and was informed that: a) There was a bulletin on that model regarding overfill issues. b) Three parts were required to resolve the issue. c) These parts would cost over $400. The repair technician advised me that this was a manufacturing problem and that I, as a consumer, should not have to pay the bill to have the problem repaired. I contacted Samsung and spoke with a customer service representative who referred me to the Executive Customer Relations Department who informed me that Samsung is not willing to provide the necessary parts to resolve the error code.I am not satisfied with this response. I purchased a machine that requires the parts mentioned above to work properly. I am sure it is not Samsungs policy to create machines worth several hundred dollars to only work for one year. This is not a problem created through customer use, misuse, or abuse; it is a problem created through faulty manufacturing. I am willing to pay the labor to have the machine repaired but I believe it is Samsungs responsibility to provide the necessary parts.

I bought this dishwasher (Samsung DMT800RHS), though my second choice, a little over a year ago. I agree with the other comments I have read in terms of cleaning and the weird smell the dishwasher always has when you open the door. The icing on the cake is that this morning, the main wash pump has failed and I am just out of warranty. Im a single guy and only run the machine every three days or so. Really? This is completely unacceptable and there was no sympathy on the phone with Samsung customer support. Long and short of the story, dont waste $800 on this poorly designed, stinky piece of garbage. I purchased this range/oven about 4 months ago. I’ve had several smooth top ranges before and I could always get marks and food off with ceramic stovetop cleaner….But not with this one! I purchased new cookware to start with a clean slate and I’m so careful with the stovetop. I’m really frustrated with trying to keep it “new” like all my previous ones. There are marks all over it and dull places where I cleaned with a scratch proof pad and ceramic stove top cleaner. The mirrored black shows every smear and smudge. I literally have to buff it with a clean towel every time. That being said, one reason I purchased this stove is for the low temp presets on the oven. I make bread and it’s hard to find an oven that will go below 170°. I’ve enjoyed this feature very much. The air fry feature, not so much. It has to be set above 450° to get good results and it takes way too long vs a countertop air fryer. Overall, the range/oven operates fine. I just wish the smooth top was a little better quality and more resistant to marks, residue and smears. None of my previous smooth tops had this issue.

Purchased a Samsung Dishwasher around November, just installed 2 weeks ago in my remodeled kitchen. It has quit. Samsung has been of no help whatsoever except tell me that I need to call the repair people they have coming out to fix it. I called the repair people since I had not heard from them about when it would be repaired after 2 days of waiting. They inform me that they will be out on 4/29 to fix it. Mind you it was the 17th of April. They dont have anything sooner. This is ridiculous since the thing shouldnt be broke to begin with! My husband and I purchased a whole kitchen full of new Samsung appliances and one already broke. WOW! Next, I called Samsung back to see if there was a different repair company that could come out. They informed me that that is the best we can do. I became even more angry since a 2 week old dishwasher shouldnt be broke to begin with. Lowes has tried to be more helpful than Samsung by checking in to see if they could do anything. When the repair person comes out I am sure that it will be another week at least having to wait on parts. Samsung should take this piece of crap back and allow me to pick another brand. I WILL NOT purchase another Samsung product after this! They dont care. I purchased their product and am now stuck. Buyer Beware!!!

In Nov the wife and I bought a new fridge from Warners Stellian... The old one was getting a bit worn. So we settled on a Samsung bottom freezer model that has an internal ice maker and filtered water dispenser. We got it delivered, set up, and running no problem. It took about 3 days of running water through the system to get it tasting like decent water to start with. One week to the day after delivery, the water dispenser stopped working. We called Warner Stellian and they scheduled a tech to come out in just over a week. The tech looked at it, couldnt figure out why the part wasnt working the way it should be, and said hed order a new one. A week later we get a call from them and they told us that the part wasnt in and due to Samsung redesigning the part we would be getting a brand new fridge. I scheduled a tech from both Warner Stellian and Samsung to come look at it. The guy from Samsung was supposed to be here before the other guy so I was happy. The morning the tech was supposed to come out from Samsung, he was going to call me before 9 to tell me what time he would be here. At 9:30 I texted them and told them I hadnt gotten a call. SHe texted me back and said she would reach out to him. Three hours later I still hadnt heard anything, so I texted again. She texted me back and said Oh Im sorry. The tech called in sick today and we didnt find out about it till a short time ago. WTF???? Three weeks later we finally get the new one. Before they left after delivering it I made sure it worked the way it should. One week to the day after getting it delivered and set up, the water dispenser stopped working. Turns out the redesign wasnt actually a redesign. The work-around the company put out wasnt done on this particular model. The tech puts in a stopgap to at least allow the water to work until they can get the right part in. A week and a half later, they get the part and schedule the tech to come out. He replaces the part and its working again. The fridge worked great for about 3 weeks until last Sunday. We noticed the freezer wasnt working right, then realized the fridge wasnt cooling either. So the tech comes out yesterday, and says he cant figure out exactly what it is. EIther the compressor or the main board. So they have ordered both parts. The parts will arrive in 3-5 business days and then who knows how long it will take for the tech to come out and actually replace the part. Carissa and my grandson are here this week, they arrived last Thursday. So now what food I was able to save is down in the garage in boxes or our chest freezer. My warranty has a provision that allows us to claim $250 worth of groceries but that is a drop in the bucket. Its daily trips to the store because we dont want to keep anything for too long. The food we would have replaced isnt yet because I dont have a place to put it. Warners Stellian says the company has to ok a return of the item and they said since its a new fridge, they will fix it. Their customer support tells me Im sorry for your inconvenience, I hope it can be fixed very soon, or My apologies for this experience.

We purchased a new home in 2009 and purchased stainless steel Samsung appliances for our new kitchen. French door refrigerator; over the stove microwave and range to the tune of over $6,000. In 2010 the refrigerator was leaking water under one of the trays. It was still under warranty so they sent a repairman who attempted to fix it. Said he couldnt but he tried. Also said that these refrigerators all have this problem. It is something with the thermostat, etc. We consistently had this problem, we had to remove the draw, chip away the ice and then use a hair dryer to thaw out the back wall of the refrigerator where the water line was located IN THE REFRIGERATOR. We had repairmen (several different ones came out for about 6 more times) all to no avail. They installed new parts, etc. Great inconvenience to say the least. Samsung finally refunded the purchase price of my refrigerator. The range was no better. In 2011, after the extended warranty we purchased expired, the broiler coil burnt out (according to the repairman) and had to be replaced. I asked him if there was anything he could do because I couldnt afford another repair. He said he could solder it but it was a temporary fix. He was right. About 10 months later the stove wouldnt work. Had to have the broiler coil replaced. Range is now working.Microwave started doing strange things in early 2013. It would go on by itself and I was afraid it would cause a fire. I called and the repairman, he came out and said it was only the fan that was going while the door was closed and he couldnt fix it because he felt it was a defect in the product. He didnt want to incur a huge bill for me when he didnt know what was wrong. He contacted Samsung and they wouldnt talk to him because he wasnt on their list of repairmen. The microwave operated fine, as for cooking, etc. with the fan always on when it was opened. In 2015 the whole thing just died. No error message, nothing. It just ceased working. I will never, ever purchase anything, other than a TV, from Samsung. They should stick with what they do best, TV sets. I now have to purchase a new microwave which has to be installed because it is an above range built in. The one we purchased was a high end and cost over $600. Didnt think it would only last 6 years. I had my other microwave for over 13 years and it worked fine. Waiting for the other shoe to drop on the range.

We had ice build up and water under the drawers in the fridge within 6 months of purchase. It warped our new hardwood floors under the fridge. We had the repairman come out to fix it. He told my wife it was my fault by not installing the filter correctly - crock. 4 months later called again for the same issue. This repairman was very apologetic and said these fridges get Styrofoam packing material caught in the water line. So, it worked for about 4 months and then same problem again. Samsung will not look at it and suggested we get a home warranty and have them fix it. Ice maker works off and on, is very noisy when it does work. We replaced all our kitchen appliances two years ago with high end Samsung stainless appliances. We researched various brands and based our decision on JD Powers, but also considered LG since both were rated highly. We also purchased with Lowes as they had high ratings. Unfortunately, we have had so many problems with the Samsung appliances, and the salesperson incorrectly sold us a 2-unit extended warranty instead of a 4-unit warranty. We have seen many more issues than what we experienced with our basic 10-year old white Whirlpool appliances that we replaced that were original to the house but otherwise functioned correctly. We purchased extended warranties and have contacted Samsung many times, and the issues do not get resolved. Often, the local repair company will argue that there is nothing they can do. Convection microwave: dead panel/completely inoperable. Dishwasher: multiple errors on control panel during cycles, does not clean, adjustable drawer holders have broken 8 times due to cracking with heat and we have to replace at our expense. Gas oven/range: will not cook foods correctly. Be sure you buy gas range with electric oven. Gas oven does not regulate correctly and always takes much longer than recipe calls for. Refrigerator: dual icemaker takes up nearly all the storage of going with larger unit; but otherwise, this has been the only Samsung appliance that has performed without failing during the first 2 years of ownership. We will avoid purchasing the so-called high end Korean appliances next time, and we will not purchase from Lowes again.

Wish I could go back in time and choose a fridge other than Samsung RS263TDRS. Weve owned fridge 4 years and has been a disappointment from day one. Slow water dispenser. Ice dispenser shoots across room. Biggest issue is defroster on fridge side. Several times a year we go through the headache of fridge making loud grinding sound, popping and then inside heating up and spoiling food. Samsung support centre acts like my issue is an isolated problem.First time I paid for a technician. He reported this to me as common issue, a manufacturing default and inserted a spacer between fan to add more air flow. He acknowledged this was only a bandaid solution and that I should be proactive and when I hear ice starting to build up on fan, to defrost fridge for two days. This has become a burdensome issue now and we defrost our fridge three to four times a year. After doing this our fridge resumes cooling efficiently but then a few months go by and ice and water build up below crisper. I will never buy another Samsung product and discourage other consumers from buying their product. Samsung is robbing consumers and their callous approach to Customer Service is unacceptable.

I bought model RS267 LBSH side by side in May 08 from Lowes. Right off, the ice maker never worked properly and we were blown off by repair (it never dispensed cubed ice and will block up with big chunks). Digital temperature reading seemed to be off. At times, things in the freezer were frozen rock hard and at other times almost soft. Reading the complaints, we should have bought an in fridge temp checker as I know the temps were fluctuating a lot although the in door reading showed a constant 0 and 38 degrees. Today, the unit quit cooling, but the door temps still read normal. We would not have known until the next morning except that hubby went into the freezer for a popsicle and they were melting. We threw stuff in the chest freezer, and put fridge stuff outside since its in the 30s here right now. I tried all the troubleshooting (what little I could find) from the Samsung site and nothing worked. After going through the complaint, I feel lucky we got 3 1/2 years before the 60 degree mark. Now, Im trying to decide whether to trash our good looking but problem prone fridge and buy another. Im not sure I want to pay for iffy repairs if we can even find anyone here that will work on them. Its the first time I have ever had a major appliance quit working like that so young in its age. This makes me never want to buy another Samsung product again. Samsung Self Cleaning Convection Stove Fire - Yesterday at approximately 5PM EST, I heard a loud bang & looked towards the kitchen & there were flames shooting out of the back of my stove. I ran for the phone & baking soda, but thankfully the fire died out and nothing was damaged, except the stove! This came directly from the circuit board, and is obvious there was an inferior connection. This stove is 3 yrs old, and until yesterday everything was fine. I was roasting beets in the oven & it was set at 400 degrees. There was no fire in the oven, just shooting up from the back of the stove. I want everyone to be aware of this issue & have posted on Samsung Canadas FB page as well.

Bought this rf217acbp refrigerator. Looks very nice but it is a big mistake. Everyday I have to change towels in the 2 dwg they fill up with water. This has been going for many years just after the warranty was up. Called Samsung got no help. Will never buy another Samsung product. My old refrigerator was 44 years old never had any problems with it. It was a GE. The Samsung is a $1500.00 mistake.

Like others that have reviewed, the ice maker is virtually non-functional on a weekly basis with continued ice build up and damming. Loud grinding noises, slushy ice. You name it and there is a problem. Very disheartening that Samsung is aware of this issue as the internet brought up numerous references including a pending class action lawsuit. Samsung’s failure to step up and be a responsible corporate entity by paying for a long term repair or recalling what they know to be a defective product will be forever engrained in my memory. I have officially removed any of their product lines for my household future purchases and will be certain to advise others on their lack of concern. Funny I did the same with Montgomery Wards and HH Gregg years ago and look where they are now. Out of business! I hope this review helps others from making a very costly mistake on their appliance purchase.

I purchased this dual oven convection range in July 2015. I have read the manual for tips on how to bake properly, no help. I attempted repositioning racks for regular baking, convection baking. Nothing mattered. Biscuits are burned on the bottom and white on top. Angel food cake was overdone on one side and not done on the other. Cakes are a flop. I love to bake and have baked successfully for fifty years. Called service; they are not knowledgeable of the product and outright lie. They rescheduled a visit by repair and they never showed up. I called back; same with complaints, no return visit. The only thing the repairman did was flash a beam to read the temperature at entry point. Said everything is ok; but Ill replace a board. This did absolutely nothing. Im back to a range top with no way to bake bread, cakes or pies. This range cost $1299.00. All I want is to be able to use the appliance without ruining everything I try to cook. I bought an oven thermometer to gauge temperature. Set on 350 degrees, the lower rack read 200 degrees. I would gladly return this range to purchase one that gets the job done. Is there any recourse other than suing Samsung? Im at my wits end, this purchase was no doubt the worst choice Ive made in my life.

Bought Samsung French Door refrigerator about 3 yrs. ago. Ice maker started freezing up and stops making ice unless you pull the bin out and chop ice off the ice maker. Ice cubes freeze at top of ice maker. Leaks water. Had it replaced with a new ice maker, 5 months ago and it does the same thing. Appliance repair said its a typical problem with Samsung and cant guarantee it will fix it to replace it. Spent $300 to replace and it still does the same thing.

I called on the service station, the person who was dealing said that you dont have to pay visiting charges but yes if something will be changed inside you will have to pay extra charges. Can anybody help me by telling the diff. between warranty and guarantee. He said that Samsung people are giving warranty, not guarantee.

I bought model RF217ACPN./XAA (freezer drawer on bottom, french door refrig on top) and it died in less than a year.... Drawers filled with water and starts making this horrible sound non-stop. Samsung has sent people here FOUR TIMES and the issue persists. After HOURS of phone calls/complaints/pleads with them to get people out to fix it, they kept saying we are now out of warranty, even though the issue has never been fixed since day one.... Finally, they sent out a tech who said it can not be fixed but I am now in limbo waiting for a replacement or buy back... They are trying to wear me down but they have picked the wrong person as I will move hell and high water for justice... We were so happy when we bought our first new fridge, and it didnt last a year and all the time and days off of work for technicians to come out and it STILL isnt fixed. Nobody has time to deal with this every few months and no one has an extra 2,000 to buy a new fridge a year after buying the 1st one. There has to be lemon laws about this and I am shocked to see how many people have the same experience. I found a class action suit everyone should look into. Even if your model is not listed, sign up... If it falls through, we should start a new one because there are too many similar stories here of people getting ripped off by Samsung! I urge you to never give up and fight for what is right... People shouldnt lose their hard earned money on a product that doesnt work!

I bought a Samsung French Door RFG297 refrigerator in Dec. 2011. It broke down after 2 years. First sign is the ice melted and spilt water all over because the ice melted and then not make any ice anymore after one day; the freezer is not cold anymore. Please read the reviews before you buy a Samsung refrigerator because I really care, and I don’t want it to happen to you. I wish I read all of the reviews about this product before I bought it. I even called customer care if a lot of people make complaints about Samsung refrigerator, and she said no because I told her I saw a hundred complaints about the same problem. I asked her if the company is doing something or a recall of the product and she said no. Please keep putting on reviews about this product, because I still expect mass recall for this refrigerator.

I purchased my home 1 1/2 years ago and my home came with a brand new Samsung fridge, range and dishwasher. My dishwasher has already been serviced 3 times and it still stops working sometimes and has a flashing light that will blink to indicate a malfunction. My range worked fine until a week ago when we heard a very loud pop and the range completely shut down. We spoke with Samsung and they will not do anything about it. If you want to spend thousands on an appliance that will not last more than 2-3 years, Samsung appliances are for you. I am very surprised that a company as successful as Samsung has not recalled these potentially hazardous and outright disastrous products. One can assume, based on their lack of taking care of these problems, that within 3 years Samsung will no longer be selling appliances. I am extremely disappointed with this company and their products. Buyer Beware.

I had purchased a Samsung Fridge double door of 325 ltr capacity during Jan 2011. The Fridge was not giving good response right from the date of purchase i.e. watering, freezer not working, frequent sensor and motherboard problems. I had complained to Samsung that you have delivered a faulty fridge, so replace a good Samsung Fridge or repay the amount. They did not lisen any one of my offer to satisfy the customer. They CHEATED ME and assured that we will rectify the issue and deliver you perfectly. They took the unit to service center and got repaired. Till date I am facing one or the other problem in every 4 months time and I require to pay for each service and even I have to pay to the technician for just inspecting the fridge where the reply from the technician was that the proper thermacol is not available for the top door fridges and they themselves say that all top door fridges will have the same problem and hence they same problem will continue even after repair. I had a single door 190 ltr Whirlpool fridge without problem for ten years except to defrosting.A fridge is an immovable item in a house and an amount hard earned money Rs.25000 is invested on a fridge of a reputed company and if it is giving frequent problems one or other and spending nearly one-fourth of cost of fridge for the past 6 yrs is really painful and it is great loss to the customer and giving mental agony hence I have been forced purchased an another fridge from Whirlpool for for Rs.22000/- which is an unwanted additional expenditure created by Samsung company. I came to a conclusion after 6 years since I lost faith on SAMSUNG company instead of keep on spending money for repairing the worst Samsung fridge, I have been forced to purchase my old brand from Whirlpool company. Further the service center at Guindy is also one of the worst service provider and the technicians are not properly qualified, since they are not experienced and charging for the same problems from the customer and the service center is disobedient to Samsung company. Even Samsung company says not to charge for the same problem the service center either do not listen to them or leave the job half baked or not responding further even after repeated phone calls. Hence, in view of the above I advise the public NOT TO PURCHASE SAMSUNG FRIDGE AT ANY COST since all module of SAMSUNG FRIDGE are VERY WORST FRIDGE.

I had a 7 year old Samsung refrigerator that froze up completely in the back which stops the fan and then the refrigerator does not cool. Had it repaired 3 times in a month. Problem kept happening and I pretty much didn’t have a working refrigerator for 5 weeks. Finally the repairman told me the whole cooling system had to be replaced. The cost would be at least 1200.00. I wasn’t going to put that much money into a refrigerator that was over 7 years old. I thought this was just bad luck and went out and bought another Samsung refrigerator. 2 years later the exact same thing is happening and I’m going through the same thing with the Samsung Repairman who keeps coming in to fix it and two weeks later it happens again. Now I find out doing my research that this is a common problem for Samsung refrigerators and there are two class action lawsuits against them. Because the refrigerator is less than 5 years old the main cooling system is still under warranty, but Samsung doesn’t want to admit that that’s the problem and replace it. Customer service is not helpful at all and they really don’t care how long you have to go without a refrigerator. Besides this problem the inside of these refrigerators are made like crap. All the shelves on the doors have cracks in them and all the wheels on the drawers have snapped off. I will never buy another Samsung product again, unfortunately it was a very expensive lesson to learn.

Purchased this microwave from Lowes about 2 years ago. Dont have receipt anymore so dont know exact date... It now gets the -SE- error code and researching online after the fact have learned it to be quite a common problem and a design flaw in Samsung microwaves. Called Samsung to fix this issue and they said they will only replace parts for this error code in older models and not the SMH9027ST models... I ordered the display part and tried to replace myself but cant seem to open the bottom silver piece where this part goes. Will never again purchase Samsung products of any kind... Bought a Samsung microwave almost two years ago, and this is the second time we’ve had a major repair. Just before the warranty expired, the fan went out. It was challenging to get Samsung to agree the repair was covered and then to schedule the repair. Now the magnetron tube and couple other parts need to be replaced, parts and labor costing around $275. I’m debating whether to sink more money into this thing. When it works, it’s great, but with this record of repairs, I’m hesitant to invest more $$.

Ice maker wasnt sealed properly causing moisture inside fridge. I have had many issues with the ice maker and it was replaced three times. I had another issue where my freezer stopped freezing and I lost the entire contents. Tech told me to turn it into my insurance, which I didnt. All within the first year. Since I was having so many issues Samsung gave me a free ONE TIME service call to replace another ice maker. I continued to have issues with the ice maker and it finally stopped working altogether. I thought mine was the only one. Come to find out there are so many others with the same issues. I contacted Samsung again once I knew there were ongoing issues and mine was not the only one. I explained that I had a failed back surgery with restrictions on lifting and these 20 lb bags of ice are not easily handled. I work for a Big Box Home Improvement Store. A customer purchased a Samsung dishwasher from our store with installation. Our installers installed the dishwasher on Christmas Eve, 2014. On December 26, the customer called and said the dishwasher was not rinsing the dishes. The dishes had a soap film, food particles and spots on them. The dishes were a mess. Our installer went to her house to see if it had anything to do with the install. No, the dishwasher was installed correctly.I then called Samsung and got the famous ticket # for my client. In the meantime she also called Samsung and they agreed to send someone out. He came out and just looked at the machine, not opened it or repaired it, just looked and said she was using too much soap. She called Samsung and they told her to purchase a special soap, she did, didnt help. They told her to use vinegar in her rinse cycle, she did, didnt help. They told her to rinse three times for every one wash, she did, didnt help. In the meantime I continued to call Samsung to get a repair person out to her house to fix the dishwasher. I have so many ticket # by now it is comical. Never again did they send a repair person to her house. Now her LE light is remaining on.The hours I spent on the line with the call center from mumble mouth world was terrible. The representatives speak in such heavily accented English you cant understand them, and you know they are laughing at you. I had spoken with everyone in the call center since they dont really elevate you to a manager but just pass you off to the rep sitting next to them. With each rep you have to repeat the entire story again. I got mad one time and yelled Dont you people know how to use a computer? I really offended them and from then on I didnt have to repeat the story. They read the notes in the computer. Each 45 minute call ended with a promise to send a repairman out. They NEVER EVER DID!Then when you call to tell them the repair person never called to set up a repair date, you get the famous ticket # again. Then I told them I wanted a return authorization #. Our store was going to take the piece of junk back and give her a new one. They refused stating She hasnt had three attempts at a repair! What? She should have had about six repairs but the repair person never comes. No RA# until three attempts had been made to repair the dishwasher by the Samsung repair person. Constant loop. Fortunately our store manager stepped up to the plate. She is to come into the store and pick out any dishwasher she wants as long as it is not a Samsung. Our installers will install the dishwasher and remove the defective one, no cost to her.

While looking at that he opened lite part and it was broken, the light fixture itself! The pins that hold lite up was broken! Wait for Buy Back on that! He also came to look at dishwasher cause it was make a loud noise, also which it didnt do it in past! Repairman said the Motor is going out!! So it is on order!Stove on other hand, the back leg that holds unit leveled was bent and could not be fixed, got it replaced! On 2nd stove the front window has water leak condensation from cooking and there is no way to clean it!! On all the appliances I was told they were top of the line! Stainless steel, in which I cannot keep clean, there is like streaks on all of them and no matter what I use, very good cleaner still cant remove stains from them! Samsung has great TVs... That is all!!!! My refrigerator is a Samsung counter depth freezer drawer on the bottom and meat cheese drawer in the middle. 1. In order to change the water filter you need to turn off the water to the fridge; that means pulling it out of the wall pocket every six months minimum.. Joke.. 2. The veggie storage drawers trap food and mold. 3. It is the cheapest refrigerator by far; drawers in freezer come off track all the time.. 4. Freezer is a bottomless pit. 5. It doesnt fit anything.. Be very aware. The dishwasher rinse aid piece broke and the technician said I have to be more gentle.. How about Ive never broken one in my 50 years of buying dishwashers; they usually have a slide door instead of a cheap piece of plastic..The stove, you lean up against it to put something away and the gas goes on and you dont even realize it.. The clothes washing machine traps hair in the drain of the door; constantly removing debris.. Lastly, the dryer worst lint drawer every, you have to pull it out and pry it apart every time to clean it. Stick with TVs SAMSUNG.. Go for GE Profiles or Whirlpool... Stay away from SAMSUNG!!!

The freezer seems to work but not the main Customer Service said they cant extend my warranty to cover this one issue because it has been out of warranty for too long. Seriously, 3 months for a $2400.00 refrigerator. Of course, I am going to pay to have it repaired. I advise anyone considering a Samsung fridge not to or pay for the extended warranty.

We purchased the French Door/Freezer on Bottom from Best Buy. 2 ice makers! Model Number RF28MFEDTSR/ AA. It has the ice maker in frig. area and one in bottom of freezer. 5th day of owning it... filter light came on -- upper ice maker jams every other day -- crushed ice portion has never worked -- its not crushed -ever. And it takes over 2 mins for 4 oz... (yeah youre standing forever for sml amount). Long drawer/fresh veggies or whatever... becomes frozen constantly -- we are weekly taking everything out to get all the water and ice out! Funny thing is we did a consumer report before buying a Frig. This model was new on market and very expensive. Its a piece of junk. Samsung should recall all of these -- its obvious there are hundreds with same problem... Oh yeah -- we also bought washer (front loader) dryer both with all the bells and whistles -- from Best Buy -- (Dryer only goes 40 mins in 1 setting) - its takes almost 2 hrs to dry 10 towels -- (Electric) -- after 3 months... washer doesnt hold as much as its supposed to! Again paid a fortune for all 3... new on market! Honestly wished we had our old Kenmore products back. You couldnt pay me to buy a Samsung product ever again.

Like many dissatisfied and cheated people... My parents range top cracked with a loud noise last night (while everyone was in another room of the house) breaking the stove top, literally just a month after the one year warranty expired. This is ridiculous! That a company can get away with this! Hundreds of dollars down the drain and now they are forced to purchase a new one!? Or perhaps replace the specific part for two hundred dollars and just hope it doesnt just keep happening? Which clearly it will with all of the people having similar experiences. The previous oven they had lasted my parents 20 years! Whats worse is that they purchased a matching Samsung washer, dryer, and microwave. Who knows when those are gonna break or blow up? As of right now I plan to contact an attorney, this is happening to way too many people for Samsung to not do a better job of helping. Why are these appliances still being sold to people??? We bought ours at Best Buy who of course are more than happy to take their money for another oven. My parents are older and they arent gonna get online and research this stuff. So sad, that companies can take advantage of people like this. It has to stop! It broke my heart to see my dad trying to figure out what went wrong with this damn thing last night.

We bought the French door refrigerator from Lowe’s in Jan. 2010. This year rust came through the paint around the edges of the ice and water dispenser. I feel like they should have to fix this on a 2000 dollar refrigerator. They apparently painted over the rust in the factory. I want them to send someone to fix this problem. We should not have to pay to have this done.

Two weeks ago we bought a Samsung DW80H933US dishwasher, the highest end model that Home Depot sold in our area. Two weeks ago. 14 days. Tonight it stopped with error code LE. Looked it up, it says theres a leak. We looked everywhere, it is not leaking. There is no way to clear this error code. We have to cut the power to the machine and request service. This is after TWO WEEKS. Did I mention that? I wish Id done some reading up on Samsungs dishwasher before we bought it. Fortunately (I suppose), we purchased a 4-year extended warranty, so that over the next five years we wont have to pay for the monthly repairs. Two weeks in I am also concerned that the door seems to resist closing for no apparent reason either. These seem to be really, really common complaints. What a piece of expensive junk. Well see how much Home Depot cares about their customers tomorrow when I go in.

After 18 months and final payment to Best Buy for my Samsung refrigerator, my ice maker stopped working. The fridge has consistently been leaking water at the left corner of the fridge and the front panel under the ice dispenser and inside the door. Called Samsung to complain, they say its out of warranty and will not pay for the repair. Did some research and discovered there are thousands of people on the web and facebook at SAMSUNG REFRIGERATOR RECALL U.S.A. NOW making the same complaints. There are also lots of people posting photos of reimbursement checks for Samsung products including my fridge but not after months of hassle. Now, Ill be joining the many that have filed complaints with the BBB of New Jersey.

We got a Samsung microwave in 11/30/2013 and by June of 2014 first, the vent fan would come on when no one was home. So we call the repair line and they came out and change out parts. Then one month later, in July 15, 2014 did the same thing and when you turn it on, would get a SE and cut off. When the repair man call me to come out (without looking at it) and clear my schedule, said, I will order parts and then come out, so that means I need to wait again to see if he show up then.
