We bought our Samsung dishwasher two years ago and have had problems ever since. The dishwasher stops working and error lights start to flash. We have had it fixed a couple of times and it keep doing the same thing. This product is a piece of junk and not worth the money at all. I would honestly give it -5 stars if that was allowed. Do not buy this product. You would be wasting your money.

I bought a Samsung refrigerator RS263TDR from my local Lowes store. About 18 moths later ice would collect on the back wall & water at the bottom of the fridge department. I called Samsung customer service and they advised me to go to a local certified Samsung repair shop. After the first year, Samsung customer service told me that these parts are not under warranty, repair cost $275.00. Just a few months later the ice maker was defective and water level was out of adjustment and too much water would overflow over the existing ice cubes. The ice cubes would become just one big block of ice and a sensor was dangling in the ice maker area. So we shut the ice maker off. A few months later the entire refrigerator shut down and we could not restart it again. Samsung technician told us that the main electronic motherboard is burnt and this is a major part and shall be covered for at least 5 years. In my disbelieve Samsung does not cover it after just one year. It is not worth it to repair this unit again! Parts and labor over $850. I had to replace my Samsung side by side refrigerator RS263TDR just after 3 1/2 years!!!

I have purchase three Samsung appliance less than four years ago from Brault and Martineau in Gatineau Quebec, the stove (Model FE-R400SWS) was recently service because I have notice that the top of the door was rusting and had yellow burn marks. The hinges and door seal were replace under warranty job was done by Cosmo-Tech. The extended service contract was purchase from Brault and Martineau under Comerco Service Inc. in Laval Quebec. Comerco refused to replace the damage door because it was cosmetic and not covered under warranty. Brault and Martineau refuses to help because it is a warranty matter. I have contacted Samsung technical service department and they also refuse to take responsibility for the damage door. A new door part number DG94-00223E would cost $350.50. Unfortunately these are the facts and I will let you make your own decision. Thank for your time.

After reading all of these complaints, Im just sick to my stomach that we didnt find this page before we bought our Samsung Oven. We bought a Samsung Microwave as well, but that seems fine. This oven is just over a year old (purchased Feb 2014) and has not worked properly for several months, but now we cant even manipulate it to work at all. We set a temperature and it slowly heats up. When it alerts you that it is to temperature, it is actually not. We turn it off and back on again (without opening the door) and it registers a temperature about 40-50 degrees less that what I set it for. Called Samsung and in a very monotone voice she announced that the oven was out of warranty. She said she could have someone call us to come out and service the oven, but no one has called yet. Its been a week. Although after reading some of the posts, Im seeing that many service companies refuse to work on Samsung ovens. Maybe they are tired of being yelled at by frustrated consumers. Plus many people have stated that they have paid as much as a new oven in service calls and it still doesnt work. I dont know if we should just buy another new oven (not Samsung) or what. It seems like more wasted money to have it serviced. Hundreds of dollars down the drain.

I will never buy another Samsung product again. This dishwasher is our second one; the first one was replaced right away after purchase for not cleaning our dishes. This current one is just as bad, if not worse. Our dishes are never dry. They all need to be dried with a towel since theyre so wet. And the recommended jet dry does not help. The worst part about this product is our dishes are never clean. Samsung has not been the least bit helpful and claims it works just fine. I dont consider dirty dishes acceptable and neither should they. Its unfortunate that so many consumers are unhappy with the product but we are stuck with it. Please do research before you buy appliances!! And a class action lawsuit sounds perfect to me.

Model NE59M4310SS. Purchased my stove on May 16, 2019. Stove was delivered June 1, 2019. Only used oven once and the cook top a couple of times. One week later today, the oven and cooktop are not working!!!! The clock is okay so I know that the power is not the issue. I tried several times to troubleshoot to no effect. They cant send a tech out because its the weekend of course. Shame on Samsung for selling me a factory reject. I will never purchase anything Samsung ever again. Buyers note that model number and stay away from it.

Let me add my voice to the other dissatisfied owners of a Samsung refrigerator. The ** ice maker freezes up about once a week. I have to use a hair dryer to thaw out the ice which is frozen in the rear of the icemaker. From the reviews here, I can see that this is a common problem with Samsung icemakers. I was in a Home Depot store recently and Samsung is still using the same design of icemaker. I hope people read the reviews written here and look to other companies. DO NOT PURCHASE A SAMSUNG!! I will never again buy ANYTHING manufactured by Samsung.

I bought model RF28JBEDBSG less than 2 and a half years ago. For paying over $2000, you would think its going to be an excellent appliance. Since day one, we hated the ice maker. Barely makes any ice. But little by little the ice maker freezes up and the ice blocked up. So we started buying bagged ice. So to fix it, we unload the refrigerator and let the ice melt so we can get into the ice machine to remove the ice. This has happened multiple times even Christmas eve dinner. So I researched the problem and realized there are thousands of people with the same problem along with a class action lawsuit for the same issue Im having. Then someone mentioned the temperature not regulating properly. So I got a thermometer and seen that I have it set for 34 degrees and the temp inside was 20 to 44 degrees that I have seen with my own eyes. Over 40 degrees is unsafe for food. They are giving some people a horrible time getting a fix or even a refund. DONT BUY!!!!

I have a Samsung oven Model ne9k3310ss with so called self cleaning steam option. It Sucks. I am 64 years old havent had to scrub an oven with SOS pads for years. Cooked a turkey. Will not come clean. Purchased this stove Sept 2016 from Lowes. It was 2 days before my daughters wedding and my previous ovens element burnt up. So no reviews were checked before we bought this one. Lowes sales rep told us good reviews it was in stock could be delivered the next day. Perfect. Used it for the wedding, except for the oven.Stove really wasnt used for the first 30 days so was past the customer satisfaction period. Oven would not hold temp, tech was here 3 times, replaced parts. Wanted so bad to just return it but no. I hate this stove and I have had many stoves over the years. The glass top is almost impossible to keep clean. Bought the daily cleaner, waste of money, need to use the heavy duty cleaner to clean it. Would not recommend this stove. I will be getting rid of it.

Own a French door Samsung Fridge and water accumulates and freezes at bottom of fridge. Have to empty the fridge, take back panel out and thaw out drain line which will probably freeze again shortly. Sears, where the fridge was bought, claim to have never heard of problem however internet is full of complaints and there are several Youtube videos in how to fix problem. Had issues with brand new unlocked Samsung phone and after spending hours writing Emails and calling service center went out and bought Motorola phone. Samsung service is pathetic and will NEVER buy another Samsung product as long as I live. I have since bought a TV, a tablet, two phones, a dishwasher, washer and dryer all brands other than Samsung. How a company can be so arrogant and probably successful is beyond me. I asked clerk to speak to a superior and she said that she did not report to anyone and was given email for headquarters. Receive same form email back, total waste of time. Spent two hours to repair fridge, threw out food and if it freezes again I will cut my losses and buy a new one (this one was $2K).

Had dishwasher 2 years. My contractor handled first 3 service calls in time right after bought. He had family issues as well as me. Washer works intermittently long cycle > 4 hours then stops altogether not to mention water pools in bottom. I usually add bleach when I smell it. So I call because its Xmas and I cannot use washer other than as dish drying rack. Buy extended warranty. Call. Guy comes out. He can get it working, needed part. Comes back, puts new part in. Said normal 4 hr cycle. Mind you washer is 6-8 feet from Insta hot water heater. In California should be banned. No Appliance running water should run this long. Now its Easter and I have a dishwasher that runs hours! On normal cycle sold as energy efficient. Ha! Maybe if you add rage the times it does not work with the long cycle. And this is normal.

We purchased a $1200 dishwasher from Samsung in August 2014. After 1 month it began breaking down and coming up with error messages which stopped it from running. Every time we called it took them 2 weeks to come out. By November they had been out 5 times and I was demanding a replacement. Id spent 4 months hand washing all my dishes. They came out and replaced it and things seemed fine before I saw water and suds streaming out of the bottom of the dishwasher on to my hardwood floors. As it was less than 1 year, I had to call Samsung. They insisted it was out of Warranty I needed to talk to the provider of the extended service even though the receipt was dated August 16. I called them and they sent me back to Samsung, who didnt seem to have any paperwork with our dates despite the fact that they had been to our house. They didnt care that there is most likely water under the dishwasher on the wood flooring. We havent heard yet from a repair person 24 hours later. I will never buy another piece of equipment from Samsung. Their quality and service is the worst Ive ever experienced.

Its great that Costco has such a good return policy and I will be returning it and buying another brand. I will never buy another Samsung product again! In 2015, we purchased a $1200.00 Samsung Dishwasher, model DW80J755 Series, and started having problems in April of 2018 with an error code LC. The repair was made under warranty and also was found that the dishwasher had faulty installation of the waterline, which was crimped. The same error code LC, was again present on the dishwasher of June 2019. Once again, a repair was done to rectify this problem and it was under warranty. Forward to November 2020, and for the third time in as many years, the error code LC came up. The dishwasher is no longer under warranty by 3 weeks. A call to the appliance store we bought it from, said they would send an estimator out for $175.00 just for an estimate which didn’t cover repair, labor or parts! A call to Samsung’s Customer Service on Nov. 23rd, had the gentleman tell me because this has been an ongoing problem for the last 3 years, we qualify for a new dishwasher. The process was to give me a ticket # (**), send it for approval and someone would call & email me within 3-5 business days. As of today, Dec. 3rd, no one has contacted us and so I called Samsung to get an update only to be told that it is still being reviewed. Then I was told that they couldn’t accommodate us with repairs or a new dishwasher. Then they put me over to their Exchange & Refund team where Chris pretended, he didn’t hear me talking after saying Hello, Hello, Hello, 3 times, and he hung up on me. So, here we are with a $1200.00, 5-year-old dishwasher that has had the same error code 3 years in a row and have gotten no satisfaction from the manufacturer and no use of the dishwasher for almost 2 weeks!

I bought a Samsung fridge (RFG296HDPN) from Lowes and the dispenser is not working right. It locks itself and then no matter how many times I try, it does not unlock, which means no cold water, crushed ice or whole ice. This panel will stay locked for a week or two and then unlock on its own. The lower drawer or crisper came cracked and one of the shelves where the ice maker is located has a thin line crack also. I work and have to take a full day for a repair and when I called them, they gave me a work order number. If they call back and I dont pick up, they cancel it, so I called in for another one. So I have two work orders, and they told me the repair person is waiting on parts. Now someone named Brittany says that its cosmetic and they do not do cosmetic. I asked to speak with a supervisor and they say I have to wait for an hour. A malfunctioning dispenser for me is not cosmetic, not on a $3,000 refrigerator that will be a year old in August. I have explained this over and over again when I called and when the technicians called now, they asked me if its locked, call then when it is. Well, I have on two occasions and they have not reacted. I wish they would put this on their refrigerators. If panel malfunctions, its cosmetic. I asked if there was a way to reset it and there is none but unplugging it which I have tried and it does not work. It will be two months that I have been trying to fix this. I will never buy another Samsung.

We purchased our Samsung French door refrigerator from Lowe’s. I thought I had done research. Every single piece of plastic in this refrigerator is cracking or has already broken. We are not rough on our appliances. Despite the care that we use, every door been has been replaced twice. I currently have no door bins to use. Any indication that there is too much weight in the Dawbin is undermined by the fact that they are “designed to hold a gallon of milk“. I cannot even keep condiments in the door bins without cracking. The freezer bins have cracked at the joints. The refrigerator is also designed that is difficult to take apart to clean should there be a spill. This is a the worst product I have ever purchased.

We bought a high-end stainless steel double door with freezer drawer. In less than two years we began to hear a noise coming from the fan. Shortly after we called for a repair appointment, the fan stopped working and hundreds of dollars worth of food got ruined. Refrigerators are supposed to be made to last, at least, ten years. The home I bought came with a french door Samsung fridge model number RF263AEBP. About 3 days after moving in the fridge stopped cooling. Luckily our home came with a home warranty so we filed a claim. There is a known defect with this model Samsung fridge and Samsung is doing nothing to resolve the issue. A family in NJ had to file a class action lawsuit to try getting help from Samsung. The fridge stops cooling and water forms under the fridge. Ice covers the coils therefore the fan stops working. The fridge then goes into defrost mode. This has been an absolute headache for us.We have forked out money on short term repairs and have lost money spent on food that has gone bad. This fridge is easily worth $3000.00. Samsung should be ashamed! I feel there should be a recall on their faulty product. I WILL NEVER buy another Samsung product after seeing how Samsung treats their customers. Im now trying to decide if we should put more money into this fridge or go out and buy a new one. Samsung does not stand by its product and the expense of fixing it has caused me to junk it and buy a new one. We have had ongoing issues with this fridge since it was 13 months old. We are on the third icemaker and have had the latest motherboard fix installed on 6-12-20. We deal with a drippy ice and water dispenser, water under the crispers, and very inconsistent fridge and freezer temps. The fridge display will say 37° when the temp is actually anywhere between 38-58°. We have lost over $200 in food. I have personally endured an 8 hour online support chat, numerous phone calls, and emails to seek full compensation for this defective appliance so I may purchase a safe fridge. After posting an honest review on the Lowes website I was contacted by Samsung support and on 9-10-20 and Samsung emailed me paperwork offering me a refund of $2448.29 for my defective unsafe refrigerator. This refrigerator has been unsuccessfully repaired three times. We are using a mini fridge in our kitchen because the Samsungs inconsistent temps are not food safe. I completed the online refund paperwork & returned it electronically and mailed the actual paperwork via certified mail on 9-17. They contacted me 9-18 by text and have switched my refund amount to only $1530.18. This is not a warranty issue, this is a known design defective (since 2006) that Samsung continues to sell to unsuspecting customers. They appear to use unethical and fraudulent bait and switch tactics with customers.

I called a repairman because the ice maker was not working and the refrigerator was not cooling below 49 degrees. The repairman said it would need a new motherboard and new ice maker at a total cost of $900. He suggested we scrap it and get a new refrigerator. I will never buy Samsung again. Our new refrigerator is a GE.

My dishwasher is not working properly. I called and a tech came to my house. He indicated the heat sensor and control board is bad. The control board was defective and therefore made my heat sensor go bad. I am very upset because the repair is going to cost more than the dishwasher. Samsung product. I read a service bulletin on the internet and it says the control board in that unit needs to be replaced due to a manufacturer error. My model number is dw80f600utb. My dishwasher does not work. Samsung not stand by this product! Piece of garbage!

I purchased my oven back in June 2019, it is now July 2020 and my issue has still not been resolved. The left front burner only has one level, it does not adjust to low heat causing fire and melted the stovetop. They denied the ticket to repair the glass or fix the burner claiming it was personal damage?? I have spent hours on the phone talking to the call centers it was not until today that I finally was able to speak to supervisor who is going to have a technician come out again to look at the burner that still does not work. Key points to know when working with Samsung. 1) if they come out for a ticket once and you disagree with there findings they will not speak to you. 2)Email correspondence stop after they have told you their decision. 3) they will accept no responsibility. 4) they simply do not care! This review is short.. the lack of customer service, communication, and ethics I have received from Samsung could fill a book. DO NOT BUY APPLIANCES FROM SAMSUNG!

Bought our Samsung RF23J9011SR/AA refrigerator approximately one year ago. Ice maker malfunctioned. Samsung seemed familiar with the problem. The repairman mentioned a design flaw with regard to the small fan. They did quickly repair the problem for hundreds of dollars. It seems to me if they knew of the design flaw they should make the adjustments at their cost.

OK so we have a really nice over the range Samsung microwave that decides that its going to turn on by itself. The microwave got so hot that the glass plate inside broke when my husband opened the microwave door. The glass almost hit him in the face when it broke. He immediately unplugged it. However Samsung believes that because the warranty is up they are not responsible to replace or repair the damage. We will see about that!!!

I purchased a Samsung refrigerator in 2010. I incorrectly thought this would mean quality. We plunked down $3K. Now that it does not work, No repair person will touch it because they cannot obtain replacement parts. You can only use their service center. The original Samsung service center that was recommended is now scheduling appointments for more than a month out. When I complained, they told me they would send me an email to get in touch with a different service center. The young lady that answered was trying her best, but without support from higher ups or Samsung what good is it? This service center has only has one technician Really??? I dont have a refrigerator, dont know if they can fix it or if the parts will be on the service person’s truck, or backordered, or... Still waiting... SAMSUNG WANTS TO SELL BUT DOESNT CARE ABOUT YOU AFTER THEY SELL, then they hold you captive with only their service center and availability of parts.

I bought this refrigerator because of the high tech features. For weeks I tried to sync my calendar from my phone to the refrigerator screen with no success. I admit I am not that savvy on tech, but I had two people who are and they gave up. I had the box for less than a year. The lock on the water/ice control comes on and you have to go through the screen to find the lock and unlock it. For the second time, the dispenser will not toggle from ice to water. The entire part was replace less than a month ago and I am having the same problem. I love the idea of high tech and the integration but clearly, if you cant get a Samsung phone to sync with the Samsung refrigerator there is a problem. This was NOT a cheap unit so I am frustrated to pay so much and have nothing but problems. The customer service is terrible. They always tell you to reboot the computer or turn off the refrigerator and refresh it by plugging it back in after a minute. Easier said than done. The refrigerator is in a cabinet and I have to roll it out and squeeze in to unplug it and plug it in again. I had a Kenmore for 15 years and never had to unplug it and plug it back in to get it to work. I am very dissatisfied with this appliance.

I purchased the Samsung RF217ACBP refrigerator two years ago from Sears. Slowly over time the ice maker is making less and less ice (a few ice wedges per day). Over the last two months, we have been getting water collecting in the bottom of the crisper drawers every day. Changed humidity settings on the crisper drawers and varied the temp setting of the refrigerator to no avail. Refrigerator is out of warranty so Im not willing to spend large sums of money to have service repair of the unit. From what I am reading, this may not even result in a permanent fix of the problems. Will empty the unit tomorrow and try the troubleshooting ideas I found online. I wouldnt recommend this refrigerator to anyone.

RF217ACPN - I have owned this refrigerator for about two years. After a year and a half, I started having ice build up in crisper drawers. Researched problem online and found YouTube video describing the problem and fix. Removed shelves, etc., and panel covering defroster coil. I found the coil covered in ice and the drain clogged shut with ice. Followed video by replacing defroster thermistor sensor and using hot water to de-ice drain. I have now gone through the hot water treatment three times, also relocated (slightly) the sensor, but problem keeps reappearing on a less than two-week cycle. I own two of Samsung TVs and a computer monitor manufactured by them. I love them and have no complaints, but the refrigerator design really sucks along with their support. Will never buy a refrigerator from them again. LG??? Same boat??? Korean made.

RF25HM FREEZER DOES NOT FREEZE! We purchased a Samsung in July 2015. In March of this year the drawer freezer stopped working, as did the ice maker. Set up an appointment for them to come out to diagnose the problem. The service tech was here yesterday and did an excellent job of troubleshooting the problem. He thought it would be a simple part replacement (circuit board). As it turned out, it was a sealed unit problem and it would be very expensive. The refrigerator still cools, just not the freezer. He explained that the freezer and refer share the same compressor, the part that operates the freezer was clogged or not functioning properly. I assume there is a valve of sorts that changes from refer to freezer when necessary. In essence, I am saying that Samsung is junk. DO NOT BUY! They should stick to cell phones and tablets. We have a Samsung Smart TV that we wish we hadnt purchased too! The frustrating part is that it was just over the warranty period. I am certain that I am not alone in this, when you pay over $2000 for a refrigerator it should last longer than just under 4 years!

First in 13 months after purchase the left vegetable drawer had to be replaced because a piece broke off, then 6 months later one of the door bins on the right refrigerator door cracked and broke. Today I have ordered hinges for both the left and right vegetable drawers which have cracked pieces. This is the first and last time that I will purchase any products from Samsung. I purchased 4 appliances on April 14, 2019. I called because I needed repair to my range. I have made multiple calls and yet not resolved. First call agent did not speak English well, no help there! Second call agent muffled could not understand at all, however, provided her with the necessary documents and info including serial number etc. Waited 24 hours and no call from repair company. Called them and again needed to submit necessary documents/receipt since they did not have. (Mind you the range belongs to my 86 year old mother and of course with the current healthcare crisis needs a range). The third agent basically reprimanded me for not having the appropriate info on my receipt such as serial number. The Home Depot receipt does not have the serial number on the receipt but it does state the items that were purchased (Samsung Kitchen Package). Now I called HD to obtain a full invoice and of course I will not have for a couple days which may have the potential of falling out of warranty. You can guarantee that I will be calling the Department of Aging to file a complaint especially with the current situation that the US is currently in. One would think that providing the supporting documentation would be enough to schedule a repair. Now an 86 year old is left without a range (especially since she is self-sheltered) for God knows how long. I welcome a call!

Stove circuit fire on the new stove. I wrote the post below last year before Thanksgiving. Samsung repaired the unit. Then gave us a partial refund as well. We kept the stove since it was working. Now it is having an electrical problem. We smell wire burning. At this point, Samsung has made good on this stove. But it is disappointing that even after repair there are more issues with the range/oven. We now are looking to buy a new stove and will not by Samsung again.Post from 2017: Dear Samsung support. Tonight my stove went on fire. I have a NE59J7630SS, which we purchased in July of 2015. My wife was cooking and heard a loud pop from behind the instrument panel and then fire and smoke. I turned off the breaker off and opened the back panel. I have a picture attached. Is this something you can fix for us? This should not happen to a new stove like this! It is not longer under warranty. I see this is not just an isolated incident judging from the forums online. Please let me know if you can assist.

About 5 years ago I purchased a Samsung RF217ACRS wide french door refrigerator. This unit has been nothing but trouble since about 1 day after the warranty ended. In the past 2.5 years I have spent about as much money on repairs as on the original purchase. The control panel continues to freeze up, ice blocks the drain, the panel has been replaced twice, several other parts have been replaced yet nothing appears to solve the problem of water all over the bottom of the unit. The vegetable bins always have water in the bottom. I looked in the oven to make sure there was nothing burning inside and there was nothing. As I closed the door and stepped back, sparks started shooting out of the stove top and smoke was everywhere. I had my two month old son and my three dogs with me in the kitchen. Luckily none of them were injured. The ash from the blowout was all over my kitchen. The breaker blew (thank god) and I immediately unplugged the stove. I could not see an obvious signs of a problem until I really looked at the back of the stove. Where the plug is connected was covered in black ash. I removed the panel to find that the area where the plug connects was completely melted.I have had this stove for almost four years now. Their own authorized repair depot says they can put in a new water pump but wont guarantee it because my dishwasher is 2 farther to the right than is usual. That is, frankly nonsense. Our 5 yr. old Samsung French door fridge has wasted about 300 dollars worth of food. The first repairman from A&E recharged the freon and ordered some parts. One of the parts was a new compressor, which they ship to the house and install at a later date. We request with Samsungs guy in India to make sure we get the same guy to install the new compressor. (You cannot talk to A&E directly.) Some other guy shows up (had to miss another days work to accommodate their service, 250 bucks down the drain again.) This new guy takes the inside fridge panel off and says the upper evaporator coil is leaking because Samsung put too many zip ties holding it in. He snips off the zip ties, then he claims the compressor wasnt needed and the first guy who came should have known they were not authorized by Samsung to do any repairs. He leaves...... now Im dead in the water. I call Samsung office of the president (yeah right) they set me up with another repair tech. I yelp the new repair service and they have the worst reputation in the book. Soooooooo I call back the Samsung prezzizz office in Jersey and request they authorize the original repair techs from A &E to return. The freezer just went warm again. We are giving away food to friends. It is Thursday the new repair appt. is this Monday. Another day off work and probably a re-diagnose and subsequent appt. while they wait for parts. SMART FRIDGE MY A.. Samsung scam to buy a new fridge maybe. This is what over 2000 dollars gets you nowadays. Sad part is I hear even high end fridges have multiple problems too.

I bought a Samsung range (model # FE R300SXIX AA) a little over 3 years ago. During the Easter weekend of 2018, I tried to bake a cake. The cake did not get done. The oven did not reach the correct temperature. I called Samsung and a technician was sent to my home within a few days. He could not find anything wrong with the oven. The visit cost $125. I tried to bake something else and it did not get done. I called Samsung again and another technician came to my home. He stated the oven temperature was 100 degrees off the target temperature. He replaced a part and tried the temperature reading again. The temperature was still off the target. The technician said the oven needed a part he did not have with him. Another appointment was made for him to return with the other part. The technician returned several days later with the other part. He replaced the part and said try the oven again because he thought it was repaired. This cost was another $175. After the technician left, I tried baking something again but it did not get done. I called Samsung again and the representative said there was nothing they could do because the warranty had expired. In order to get a partial refund for the range, the technician would have to state the oven was unfixable. I called the technicians office to make an appointment. An appointment was made for him to return a few days later. The technician called my home and stated to my husband he does not know the cause of the problem with the oven but he could return and try several things to repair it. Each thing he tried could cost up to $500 or more. Whats the use of a repair service when they are working in the blind and costing you a lot of money trying different things. I will never buy another Samsung electric range again. The Service and reliability are very unsatisfactory.

The device appeared to be getting phantom button presses (fortunately not the start button) and beeping until I pulled the power plug. Tried a few times to clean the flex cable connecting the keypad to the controller card, but now that only makes it functional for a day or two. Was amazed to see that this fragile connection spans 8+ years of production. Seeing that this has happened to so many others, makes me feel lucky that I got this much use out of it.

Samsung Dishwasher DW-FG520W - Third time since February I have had to call for a technician to fix and replace the upper arm, which keeps breaking. Consequently I cannot shut the door to wash dishes. Third time! In 9 months! Lucky its still under warranty, but having read other peoples problems with Samsung, am now wondering if this is going to be on-going. Would not recommend buying this dishwasher.

I purchased a Samsung microwave SMH1611B at the Lowes in Douglasville, Georgia in Sept. 2012, paid $167 (sale) for the beautiful merchandise. I brought it home and in Oct. 2012, the microwave began to make a loud noise. As the timer decreased, the noise became louder. I contacted Lowes. They sent out service people to make the repairs, had to replace the transformer. All worked well until Dec. 2012. The microwave started doing the same thing except the noise wasnt as loud so again, I called Lowes. Appointment was set up and the repair man came again but, this time, after explaining to them that it was doing the same thing, they came without the transformer and had to reschedule and they came back on this past Monday in Jan. 2013 to replace the transformer. Today is Wednesday, January15. Now there is no noise today. Its not heating. Must I say how disappointed I am with this microwave? You have to have 3 service calls and the technicians have to tell you that the microwave is no good for them to give you another microwave. This doesnt make any sense. I should have taken the microwave back and got my money back. I will never purchase another Samsung microwave as long as I live. It is, however, still under warranty being that I just purchased it in Sept. 2012 and its now Jan. 2012.

I received a brand new Samsung refrigerator model: RF263AFRS, purchased from Sears in February 2011. Despite appropriate care it failed the summer 2013 (two years!). Neither Sears nor Samsung offered to stand for the quality and the consumers concern for the excessive noise (now clearly audible through the entire two storey house!). The cooling also seems to be an issue. I am in the process of confirming the latter with an internally placed thermometer. I called both the Sears and the Samsung representatives: it appears they are not willing to investigate their failure to provide a quality product expected to perform up to expectation for at least 10 to 15 or more years similar or better than the old fridges we still own. There is something wrong with quality of Sears service and product from Samsung. Consumer be aware.

We bought all of the appliances for the kitchen (refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, microwave) less than 5 years ago, and thoroughly regret going with Samsung. So many of the products have broken. The refrigerator was repaired less than two years ago, and the same problem is happening again. Our dishwasher broke a few months ago, and we had to repair it as well. Both repairs were almost $500 EACH! We have broken drawers, shelves, knobs. I can go on and on with the issues we’ve had with these appliances as well as with Samsung the company, but the easiest thing to say (and most useful from this review) is to save your money and go with a quality company that specializes in kitchen appliances, not electronics.

After 13 months and 1 month after the warranty expired. I called Samsung Appliances and reported that I had a software glitch. After the unit finishes a cooking cycle the LED Panel clears itself out, wipes out the memory settings including the clock and takes 5 to 10 retries to reset it. I purchased this at Sears along with other Samsung products including a top of the line SS side by side Fridge etc. This microwave is a top of the line over the stove SS model #ME21F707MJT/AC manufactured date March 2016. Samsung position is too bad. Out of warranty you pay for our bad software design and motherboard. They will not confirm if this is an isolated or general issue with this machine. Stay away from Samsung. They dont care. From this day forward I will never purchase another Samsung Appliance including the Galaxy Phone. My S7 which is ready to be replaced, also my pending purchase of a 4K OHLED large panel TV will not include Samsung. Going back to SONY. They are a bunch of ** and Issac the telephone rep apologized for my problems but that is all he can do. Youre on your own. I strongly stay away from Samsung. Did anyone ever hear of this happening... I woke yesterday morning early to hear crack pop noises in my kitchen. I was flipping scared thinking we had a mouse. So we proceeded to take the stuff from the cupboards out to check, nothing and I still hear the noise. So Im home alone at this point and decided to get my shoes on and run and prepare for the mouse as I pull out the stove. As I pull out the stove and look behind I see sparks and a little bit of smoke. Its my STOVE SPARKING Not a mouse. The sparks were coming right from the cord. How scary I almost was electrocuted or could have lost my house in a fire. Now my house is built in 2006 so wiring is new. The sparks were coming from the stove not my wall outlet... The stove is the Samsung Chef Collection ne58h9970ws. Was only purchased September 15, 2016. Not even a year old. Its all under warranty but dealing with Samsung has been nothing but a nightmare. Long story short they said they will contact me back within 48 hours. Ugh... Samsung Chef Collection ne58h9970ws.

I have just spent the last half hour reading comments on good old Samsung Refrigerator. I have had a problem for the past year and now comes a time. Where do I start? Whats the cost? The digital front settings are being controlled by a ghost; bounces from ice to water, doesnt stop. Cost? Water on the floor. Ice built up on the back of the fridge really thick and water steady on the bottom of the drawers. Cost? Any advice besides throw it to the curb like people have said? Nice fridge; but really, how much money does an average person need to fix repairs? I was going to try and tackle project by myself but will it work or continue the hair dryer every couple of months thawing it out and putting up with dings on the front panel deciding what it wants to do? Any suggestions? Obviously not after reading the reviews. Would never recommend Samsung to anyone. Bad, bad choice I am just fed up with this problem. Thanks Samsung for the Lemon.

We have had our range two weeks. We are very careful when we cook, we do not place anything on the range other than a pot or pan we are cooking with. We do not slide pots and pans across the glass top. Regardless of being extra careful, there are already small scratches in the glass. I dont understand why this glass top is so delicate. We had a Kitchenaid glass top before this. Lasted years without mars on the glass. Very disappointed in the quality of the glass. Otherwise, we have no issues with the range...yet. It cooks and bakes as intended thus far.

To make a VERY long story short... Samsung apparently made thousands of filtration parts incorrectly - even their J & J official Parts technician said they were getting hundreds of call about the part not fitting into the Samsung refrigerator system. I have spent over 4 hours in the past several days trying to get some resolve and get this... Samsung agrees the part was made different than the previous part (the one that, ahem, FIT YOUR REFRIGERATOR!), and now we are to PAY someone to come out and change our refrigerator filtration system to fit their defective parts. Now, how will this work? Will they continue to made the poorly manufactured parts to fit the newer filtration system, or will they correct it and then I would again have a problem with the Samsung part fitting into my Samsung refrigerator. Why oh why didnt we go with a GE?!?

Just reviewing to save people heartache and time. Do not buy Samsung refrigerators. Amazing that they get away with manufacturing junk, basically. And they charge a lot for it. We’ve had our Samsung model RF28HMEDBSR/AA for 4 years. The ice makers freezes up constantly. The fans freeze. I’m forever using a hairdryer to fix the problem. Insane. The fans get full of ice and make a loud disruptive noise. Get the hairdryer again! Will probably cut out losses and buy a new refrigerator. This Samsung isn’t worth the headaches. Do not buy Samsung. My sister bought a similar model and has similar problems.

After 2 years, ice maker quit working and started freezing over and leaking water. 2 attempts to repair have failed by a certified Samsung repair specialist. I have read all the reviews with some of the same problems. I think a class action law suit is warranted especially since these are design defects from the start. Samsung is a HORRIBLE company must be made in North Korea!! I experienced the same POOR customer service from Samsung as everyone. I purchased a Samsung Dishwasher (Model #DW80H9930US) from Tasco, on the ad
I purchased a Samsung Dishwasher (Model #DW80H9930US) from Tasco, on the advice of Tascos salesman. It was installed in November 2014. I had also purchased a 5 year warranty. By June 2015 my dishwasher was no longer working. I went into Tasco who told me I had to contact my warranty provider, who in turn advised that Samsung held the initial warranty for the first year. I contacted Samsung at the beginning of July and was told a technician would call. I never received a call. Two weeks later I contacted them again and as everyone has previously mentioned, the wait times are approximately 30 minutes to speak with someone at the first level customer service. A woman finally booked a date to have a technician come out. I waited all day and got a call from someone to then set up another date that was approximately 3 weeks later. The technician came to my home and I advised him that the soap dispenser was not opening. He attached his computer to my dishwasher and told me the waterfall technology was not working and my motor was defective, which in turn was why the soap was not opening. He advised they would be ordering a new motor and I would get a call within 2 weeks to set up another appt. He also told me off the record this dishwasher consistently breaks down and is not a good buy. I had to remove my baseboard for that visit noting the dishwasher is built in. He never left the name of his company or anything with me. 3 weeks later I still had not heard from anyone. I contacted Samsung again to speak with someone and they told me they would be in touch. I called again 3 days later and after 30 min and going through the story each time -- got disconnected. In August I finally called and was put through to the Executive department because I was told I could not speak to management. I spoke with a Brian representative ** who was extremely rude and just flat out told me that they would not even consider replacing the unit, even noting the issues wrong with it so early on and the reviews I had read. He gave me an email address sdr.seca@samsung.com to send through a complaint as there never seems to be a manager consumers can speak with. I sent an email with my issues on August 12 and then a follow up on August 18th, 2015, and have never received a response from Samsung. I called 2 more times and was still unable to get a technician or call back. In October I went back to Tasco for help and was told I should have contacted them for service. I contacted Tasco who then in turn left me hanging until the end of November. On Thursday, November 26, I received a call from a Peter ** at Samsung and was told the delay of 6 months was because I did not call the technician back to let him know the baseboard had been removed. That the dishwasher was not properly diagnosed and they dont even know what is wrong with it. He was reading very different information than anyone else I had spoken to and basically told me I was lying that it was the motor. He was so rude, condescending, and when I asked for his managers phone number, he gave me a wrong number. At this point I have a dishwasher that has not worked for 5 months and cannot get Samsung to help me at all. At this time, I would like the dishwasher replaced and it is now out of warranty. At this time I do plan to take Samsung and Tasco to small claims court if I have to, noting I have a dishwasher that does not work and now its out of the manufacturers warranty. I will never purchase or recommend a Samsung appliance to anyone and will deter anyone from them. I would not want anyone to have to endure the stress and frustration I have had to deal with and still have not had the problem rectified. So disappointing.

I purchased side-by-side model #RS263TDWP/XAA01 in July of 2013 for $1379 from Sears. We have been quite happy with it until recently when the upper shelves were not getting cold (70 degree temp reading; the bottom at 46-55 degrees). There was some recent unusual noises in the fridge prior but subsided; phone tech suggested leveling but it is level. The doors close and are aligned properly. That was not the problem.Tech was sent to service the refrigerator and after electronically testing the unit announced it was the defrost sensor that was out (DA32-00006W). Obviously we had to replace- BUT NOT COVERED!!! The 5 year warranty is on the sealed refrigeration unit only not including the electronics needed to operate. REALLY!!?? Samsung is an electronic based company and this happens? After 1.5 years, an electronic part goes out and I have to pay for this $28 part and $220 labor!!? And to make matters worse, the tech advised this part will last longer than the original one that was installed planned obsolescence?! How long is this part going to last? I have a 20 year old Kenmore that has never had a service call!I have purchased smaller Samsung electronics with no issues but really am concerned about this appliance and any other major appliance that I will be in the market for in the future. After 3 emails explaining this situation, I recd a Thank You and Hope we helped...no help only offers of future advertisements. After 40 minutes holding on the phone, did talk to a nice agent who noted my frustrations...only to recv another email the next day - that it is not covered. No Samsung appliances for me!

It absolutely amazes me that SAMSUNG thinks it is okay for a 4 year old microwave to come on anytime the door is opened. Anyone else see a problem that this is dangerous to our children whom did not realize it was not working properly, so they stuck their hand in the microwave to lay the food on the turntable - all the while the microwave was operating - WITH THE DOOR OPEN??? I have a ticket number, a chat ID number and 2 phone calls from ** from their escalation team. Each of these encounters with their support team showed no concerns nor did they think they were responsible or liable for anything, they will NOT fix my microwave. So, for now I am using my 15 year old Sharp microwave in my garage. I replaced the keypad after 2 years because if you boiled anything on the right side of your stove the vent is not adequate enough nor is the keypad waterproofed so the condensation gets in and shorts it out. The repairman informed me Samsung had since figured this out on the next years model and corrected it, but did they repair my keypad? NO! I suppose I shouldve known better than to think they would care that my microwave comes on as soon as anyone opens the door, they were not concerned in the least! Guess my new 60 inch TV will be a Panasonic, that definitely changed my mind.

We had our Samsung fridge for 3 years in July and the compressor decided to fail, with the warranty expiring after 2 years. However, Samsung organized a repair agent to attend at a cost of $130 for an onsite visit to tell me it was the compressor and that it would be covered under warranty as the compressor has a 5-year warranty on it. That was great so they organized an agent to attend again (Samsung Plaza) to pick up the fridge, so I waited all day and they never showed up. Then the following week, they finally picked it up. After a week of them repairing the fridge, they delivered it back. They delivered it in the pouring rain, it was windy and they were in a rush. In such a rush, the truck door smashed the side of my fridge. As they brought it into my house, they scratched and dented my door on my house. They broke the wheel underneath the fridge and pushed it along my floor boards. They have now made a mess of my floors by denting the floor boards from my door all the way to where the fridge is located. When they left, I went to shut the door and noticed pieces of the fridge on the floor and as I looked down, I noticed the door on my house was damaged and the massive dents in my floor. I then contacted them straight away to tell them because by this stage, the delivery guys had driven off. I had a 3-month-old baby in my hand at the time. Thats why I hadnt followed them out. When I reported it, they were great and shocked about what had happened and were making a case of it.After many, many calls since 9th August 2012, they finally decided to approve they would repair the damage. I have spent time getting quotes for the door and my floor to be fixed and forward them on. I then had the owner of Samsung Plaza come out to view the damage and she advised she would send me a check for the door to be repaired but had someone she knew who would fix my floor. Since then I have again made many, many calls and emails and really havent got anywhere. I was advised a repair guy would come 31 October and had a call in the morning to cancel. I then told her that I had the painter coming out to repair the door and needed the check for payment and she advised she would send it in the mail. This has never been seen. I have contacted her chasing the check and the repair guy and always am told, Ill call you back. I have been pretty patient and its wearing very thin now after almost months of this. I need help on getting to the bottom of this. In the meantime, I have another Samsung agent attend to pick up and repair the broken wheel on my fridge.

Ive noticed other reviews explaining the same problem. We brought this fridge less than 2 years ago brand new. We did not expect any problems this early on as we have always purchased a french door fridge because of its large capacity. We have a large family and would have to frequent the grocery store all the time if we bought anything smaller. I am sorry I bought this brand and will not buy it again. We noticed pooling of water just outside the freezer and have been mopping it up every morning. We did not know what is causing this problem-where the water inside freezer is coming from and have defrosted the fridge twice now. -which is extremely inconvenient as we cannot use our fridge during that time. We have turned off the ice maker to see if this was the problem but it is not. This fridge is a lemon. Do not buy. So far it does not seem that anyone who has tried to solve this problem has been successful. I am really tired of cleaning up water everyday and will need to save for a new fridge. It appears that ice is forming on the freezer bottom and then melting and spilling out of the freezer overnight and during the day. We recently removed the bottom drawer which over time turned into a bucket of ice. We defrosted the fridge and cleaned it and are now trying to locate what is causing the ice to form on the freezer bottom (which then melts over time and forms water at the bottom of the fridge).

Samsung has the absolute worst customer service. Their products fail, and Samsung does not take responsibility for design defects that result in multiple failures, even after multiple repairs. I remodeled my kitchen and bought all new appliances for continuity. Samsung had a special going on with interest free purchase so bought their refrigerator, dishwasher and microwave. I am having difficulties with their dishwasher and refrigerator. Lets talk about the dishwasher first (model number DW80J3020US). This dishwasher does not work well at all. I pre-rinse before I load and yet it does not wash dishes clean unless on heavy wash with sanitize option. Even then, sometimes the dishes are not clean. I called Samsung customer service and we did some troubleshooting over the phone. That did not work, so she sent someone to look at the dishwasher. The repair man came. He was super rude and short, he turned it on then turned it off and said nothing is wrong with the dishwasher. I need to buy a different dish washing soap. I told him that the soap would not cause the dishes to have black particles on the dishes also that I pre-rinse. He stated that Samsung only recommends the use of one type of soap. Then he told me that if I call to waste his time again then there would be a charge. My refrigerator (model number RF23HCEDBSR/AA) is only one year old and the ice maker is not working. I called Samsung and the customer service rep. stated that I need adjust the leveling of the fridge and check that my water supply is enough to the fridge. She claimed that the front of the fridge must be higher than the back. I did as she told me yet. NO ICE and the water trickles out. I told her this and she insisted that it is my fault. I asked her to send someone out and she said I would be charged. I WOULD NEVER recommend any of Samsungs products to anyone.
