The display on our electric range started to flicker. Sure Samsung offers a repair and warranty program, but who in the HELL cant wait for 4 months until a service technician shows up? Steer clear. Also bought above the range microwave and a matching dishwasher. All have had similar issues. I will never purchase another Samsung appliance. I would rather build a fire outside to cook on than purchasing a new range from them!!!!

Im envious of the other reviewer who had to wait for major problems after 4 years. Weve owned our French Door model costing approx. $2,600 for 2 years. Repaired ice maker 3 times and now it just gave up, spewing metal parts into the ice tray. The attached photo shows what you can expect to find in your ice. Samsungs Indian Service Dept. just says were so sorry, please upload photos and we will contact you. 4 weeks in, no response despite many phone calls. Do not waste your time calling Samsung service. Buy an appliance from a company that at least pretends to care e.g GE or Kitchen Aid. Too bad, it looks beautiful and has all the features we wanted, but its garbage.

Cant change it, called the Samsung co. Done their 2 troubleshooting ideas, neither worked so they said we will send a repairman out. I said not yet. Looking online to see if anyone has any ideas what it could be?

I purchased a Samsung double door refrigerator RT31HVMSI in May 2006. On 12th of December, my refrigerator stopped working and a complaint was lodged with you customer care. Subsequently, an engineer visited us promptly and the fridge was handed over to the representatives of Vision Cool Services, 2 New Taratalla Road, Kolkata -88 on Friday, 17th of December with the verbal assurance that my fridge would be returned on Tuesday, 21st of Dec. I had requested for a standby fridge as we are a working couple and a fridge is a necessity but I wasnt provided one. On the 21st, I was given an estimate which I confirmed again with the assurance of a delivery on the 23rd. I have taken leave today in order to take delivery of my fridge. After repeated calls routed through your customer care, I was informed that they do not have a delivery van at their disposal today. I have made the purchases of perishable non-vegetable items which will now be wasted. Such callous and irresponsible behavior is not acceptable. Kindly look into the matter and arrange for a prompt delivery.

The ice maker is poorly engineered as it stopped working within 3 years. (Froze up and jammed). We had a refrigerator repairman from a local reputable appliance store come to our home. It was $400 to replace the ice maker plus labor; we didn’t do it because the repairman said there was no guarantee the new one would work for long. Next the alcove where the drinking water station is located was not lined with stainless steel, so we have rust stains on the front of our white refrigerator!! Lastly, after calling Samsung customer service several times, they just said, “Sorry. Your warranty is up.” The refrigerator was $2,300.

My microwave, purchased in late 2010 finally started showing the dreaded SE error message about two weeks ago. The device appeared to be getting phantom button presses (fortunately not the start button) and beeping until I pulled the power plug. Tried a few times to clean the flex cable connecting the keypad to the controller card, but now that only makes it functional for a day or two. Was amazed to see that this fragile connection spans 8+ years of production. Seeing that this has happened to so many others, makes me feel lucky that I got this much use out of it.

Purchased new French door Samsung fridge (RF18FENBWW). About 4 months later I noticed water under the veg drawers. Thinking I had spilled it, I just cleaned it up. Then a few months later, same thing. Called Samsung and they told me to defrost it, raise front up - did that. Then about 2 weeks after 1 yr warranty expired, I need to clean up water at least twice weekly or it runs onto floor. Samsung will do nothing. I have to defrost for a few days at least monthly. Never, never ever buy a Samsung refrigerator. Really feel bad for these people that bought the whole appliance suite.

Purchased a stove and refrigerator in June. Have already had 5 service calls on the fridge due to an error code that keeps popping up. Last week I used the self cleaning feature on the stove. Once it ran through the cycle I noticed the control panel was not working and the stainless was brown. Called Samsung Galaxy who put me in touch with service quick. After I called and left a message and waited 2 days. Another week for the appointment. The service tech never called to confirm and I waited all day. He arrived and change gedanken out a part but the cosmetic damage was not repaired. He had to call Samsung to get approval. Now he has to come back for another service call. Horrible service department.

I have only had this refrigerator (Model Rs2530BSH) for 5 years. It started giving me problems in the 2nd year. Now, it is completely out. It is hard to get anyone to work on this piece of trash and the parts are very hard to find. Once I found the parts on the internet, I was told the main part was on back order (the main circuit board) because of high demand. That is a shame. No part to a refrigerator should be in high demand. That means it is a manufacturer problem and it should have been recalled. This is frustrating and costly. Everyone who purchased this piece of junk should receive some type of reimbursement.

We bought a side by side Samsung Fridge and Freezer. Within the first year the motherboard broke and Samsung came to fix it with no charge. 3 years later out of warranty the fridge broke again. It took one of their technicians 3 weeks to come out due to them giving bad service. They more worried about the R570.00 call out fee rather than providing excellent service. After 3 weeks technician came and said there was a leakage, rusted pipe and it needed gas. Come on Samsung. After 3 years a fridge cannot need gas. I had a Fridge side by side Fridgemaster for 15 years and it never needed gas. Its abnormal and I know it is a faulty fridge.I told one of Samsung people yesterday I am a very unhappy customer and is only paying because I have to get it fixed. It costed me buying a bar fridge as Samsungs waiting period is pathetic. I was quoted R450.00. I have a call recording and emails sent to them. I intended buying a Samsung washing machine but NO SAMSUNG PRODUCTS ever. I am telling the world out there dont ever opt for a Samsung Fridge. They sell faulty products and would not replace it. My fridge still looks brand new as we working and only uses it at night and over weekends but I made a big mistake as the product is not cheap over 10,000.00. I am still waiting on them now to call me to say when the pipes will be fixed and the gas. Suppose to come Saturday but I will wait and see if I receive a phone call today.

At the beginning of September 2014 my wife noticed water collecting in the left hand produce drawer, so we called the local authorized Samsung repair company to fix our refrigerator. Here it is at the first of February, and 9 service technician visits later, more than $250.00 in food ruined plus the Initial cost of the service technicians and 14 calls to Samsung at 1-800-SAMSUNG and were told its defective and they said they were giving me back the full cost of the refrigerator only to be told a week later that they were only going to give me $916, which is less than the full price. Nobody from Samsung has called me back, nobody from Samsung has e-mailed me. So now Im turning it over to my attorney in principle alone.

This is the worst company ever! The reason they only give you one year warranty is because they know their stuff is going to break down immediately afterwards and then you’re out of warranty. Every time these things that break down are ONLY very large electronic items that aren’t covered-so stay clear of this brand. I have now experienced a problem with the dishwasher and the refrigerator and theyre less than three years old.

This whole ordeal started on Dec. 15th. The water dispenser on my 4,000 dollar, 4 month old refrigerator stuck and flooded my kitchen. I have hardwood floors so damage was done. I called service that night and was told someone would call me in 48 hours. So, I waited... no call. I called again and finally 2 weeks later service came out. Wrong part ordered so they ordered a new one. The next day Dani from Customer Service called and said that the repair was taking too long and offered me a new fridge and said someone would call me to get the order going. 3 days pass... no call. I finally get a hold of a very unpleasant customer service manager named Rosa that promised service would be out. It is now the 18th of January. NO CALL IN OVER A WEEK. NO SERVICE HAS BEEN OUT. All this info has been sent to the BBB last week. And this will all be posted on every website I can find. I dont understand why this is so difficult. Isnt this your job? EVERYDAY THAT PASSES MORE DAMAGE IS BEING DONE TO MY FLOOR. IT IS NOW LEAKING DOWN INTO THE BASEMENT. You would think that getting the adjuster and repair would be important to you. Also, every time I call they say they left a message. That is false. I have voice mail. Never a message!!!

We purchased a Samsung side by side at Conn’s a few months ago and specifically chose Samsung over the other brands because we had good experiences with phones, a TV and a number of other items from that brand. Well, 2 weeks ago, the refrigerator quit working and all of our food went bad. At first, I wasnt concerned, because it is still within the warranty period. I called Conn’s and they started the repair order. The problem came when Samsung couldnt find a local service provider to come out and repair it. Last week, they told me that they would allow us to exchange it for a new unit if they didnt find someone by Monday. Monday, they said they were still processing the claim. It has now been two weeks and Samsung says that it will take up to 7 more business days for them to decide what to do. In the meantime, we have lost a couple of hundred dollars worth of food and havent had a working refrigerator in weeks. I understand that things happen, but when you pay to purchase a fairly expensive appliance new from what is supposed to be a reputable brand, you expect that issues will be taken care of in a more timely manner. Eating out is costing us even more money and I dont think it is unreasonable to expect that a refrigerator can be repaired or replaced within the first two weeks.

We bought a Samsung RF26J7500SR 3 door refrig eleven months ago. WHAT A POS. The refrig compartment fan system keeps freezing up (repairman said its an inherent design error! ), preventing it from staying cold. We threw out everything inside on Labor day as all the food spoiled waiting the 12 days for the repairman. Then I was told we had to reschedule since the refrig needed to be unplugged for 48 hours for all the internal ice covering the fan blades to melt. On the return visit days later parts were replaced and a factory anti-freezing kit installed. Now, two months later, the fridge is full of Thanksgiving leftovers and its warm inside again, seems like the same problem. Samsung customer service can only confirm its broken, gave me the number of a local repair guy that will fix it under warranty. I assume the repairman will give me an appointment 12 days from when they call me back, which was how long it took for them to come to the house for the first repair!!! Looks like we will throw out everything again. What a joke. I will have to take another vacation day to wait for the repairman. Anyone who buys a Samsung refrigerator needs their head examined!!! I will never ever buy another Samsung appliance of any kind.

We bought Samsung side by around May 2012. It has had several issues beginning almost immediately. The front panel went out twice and during the second time all the food spoiled. The technician had the nerve to say it was our fault because someone had to hold the buttons on the panel for it to go off. When I told him we were sleeping and woke up to this issue, he called us liars. Then a few months later this crappy appliance began making a horrible noise. This time a motor had to be replaced. So for two days we had to defrost it, so no food in our house for 4 days (2 to defrost/ 2 to get cold enough for food). So today, not even 3 years later, a tech came out and said the entire rear panel of the freezer and all components behind it need to be replaced. When is enough, enough? We are so angry they just wont replace this crappy Samsung refrigerator. DO NOT BUY A SAMSUNG APPLIANCE!!!

My dishwasher, another model Samsung (they all seem to have similar issues)
My dishwasher, another model Samsung (they all seem to have similar issues), worked great first 6-8 months. Then would shut off and need to be restarted every few loads. Then every load, eventually several times for each load. Dishes were not clean, but covered in tiny particles of crud. Started to smell, with black gunk around front seals. Had to remove spray arms and filter to clean them out which appeared to resolve the multiple starts issue, but even after cleaning the seals, not the dirty wet dog smell. Began pre-washing everything before loading, to the point that a dishwasher was somewhat redundant. Dishes came out dirtier than they went in, requiring rewashing. Handle grips on front of racks began degrading and uprights on racks started breaking off. Within three months the multiple starts per load started again, and quickly reached the point of not running at all. Dismantled again, also cleaning out float on side of machine under metal panel. Took off handle grips which were leaving a sticky residue on anything (including hands) that touched them. Crud stuck under there too. Job took over an hour. A repairman may have done it faster, but the only $ I will resentfully sink into this clunker now is the dump fee.Its not yet two years old, does not clean dishes, is falling apart, and smells disgusting. It needs about an hours work outside the cabinet every few months to clean out minor amounts of well rotted compost that it is incapable of disgorging on its own. And it still smells like a dirty wet dog. I think these machines might be a health hazard in addition to being utterly useless. Will never buy a Samsung appliance again. They should stick to phones.

This is the second French Door Samsung fridge I have bought, and it will be the LAST Samsung product EVER to be in my house. The first french door one was perfect. I purchased model # RF263AEWP from Lowes in Dec. 2011. Bought an extended warranty, that was a waste of $. Cant get anyone to come out. There is only one company in the East Bay of San Francisco that will come out my way for warranty work and they have lots of complaints on Yelp. They must all know the problems and dont want to bother? The water pools at the bottom of the fridge, the icemaker works when it wants, frost buildup on the back wall of fridge, etc. Today the final straw was the horrific fan noise that stops when the doors open, and then resumes when the doors are closed. With open concept kitchens, the noise is extremely annoying. I am going to throw in the towel and get a new one, even though I cant afford it. Too bad there is not a designation for negative stars! Samsung induction electric range model #NE599N1PBSR - almost immediately this stove top was causing grief. Purchased in Spring 2014 before summer I had placed a call to Samsung to report the problems. I was appeased by the customer service person who declared it was my pots. I had purchased very expensive induction pots and the problem still persisted. I had induction pots as soon as I bought the appliance. I thought they might be inferior. It has continued for 2 years with no solution. Samsung has no record of my problem. Over a month ago Samsungs repair person came to investigate - has been 6 weeks, no callback, I have placed 3 subsequent calls, no callback. I spoke with Samsung today... they have no record, and cant do a thing, they will NOT honor warranty even tho the first complaint was lodged before the expiry of the warranty - once again they have no record of that call. Shame on Samsung. Elements wont work, oven shots off, at best I can use 2 elements at one time. I bought 4 Samsung appliances that day and already had the dishwasher serviced also. Such a waste of money!

I chose to upgrade my kitchen, new cabinets, flooring, ceiling, walls and appliances. Now, my old refrigerator was about 10 years old and I never had one issue with it, I just wanted everything to be stainless steel. I happened to go with the Samsung French door refrigerator because I liked the way it looked and that it was big enough to store a lot of food in the refrigerator, as well as the freezer. If I would have known that I would have half the issues I have with it, I would have never of purchased it. Why would I want to buy it if every other month, it has to be defrosted so much so that I have to store my food at someone elses house because the whole refrigerator/freezer/icemaker shuts down and takes 24 hours to get back to the right temperature. I have been a homeowner for over 18 years and I have never been more disappointed in an appliance as I am with this refrigerator. I paid over 2,000.00 for it and I am so ready to put it out as junk!!!!

Brand new Samsung Electric Range NE59J7850 (March 2017) dual door bake/convection oven FAILS at baking. Console says preheat done and its off by 100 degrees. After another 20 minutes never reached temperature set for. Pizza turned out crusty on outside and raw on inside dough because the temperature was too LOW. Lasagna was ice cold in center after 2 hours because temperature was never attained. I did multiple tests on each oven and at different temp and none worked properly. Samsung has repair service come out and same problem... however when repair called Samsung there was NO fix for this problem. They apparently think its no big deal. Just wait forever for your oven to maybe get to set temperature and then guess how long it takes for a recipe to cook. Fail.Ordering new mother board and sensors but tech is convinced that wont fix the problem. Going back today to talk with sales department at JC Penney. They just started selling appliances and they need to know this is a poor design. Not their fault but if enough people want a replacement then they can put pressure on Samsung. Looking for replacement brand while there. I cant be bothered with an oven like this.

Bought a Samsung over-the-range microwave from Sears. It came damaged with some dents. We figured it wasnt a big deal, we had waited months and went through a lost order hassle with Sears just to get the microwave, so we accepted what we got and installed it. Within a week of using the microwave, it started making a loud, screeching noise whenever we used it. We contacted Sears and were routed over to Samsung.Samsung said they cant replace/refund the microwave because you have to report damage within 48 hours of receiving the microwave. Good to know for the future, but I wont be buying from them ever again. This has been an almost 4 month back-and-forth between me, Sears, and Samsung. They are willing to send out a repairman to try and fix the loud sound, but they wont do anything about the exterior damage to the microwave. They gave me a service order number for the repair service and advised I call them to make an appointment so they can see about fixing the noise. I called the repair service and found out... oh, they dont service microwaves anymore. So now I have to call back Samsung and start the process all over again. I will never again buy a Samsung, not a fridge, not a microwave, not a TV or a phone. Never again. Same goes for Sears. At this point Im considering eating the cost of the microwave and throwing it out just so I dont have to deal with them anymore.

I posted a YouTube video I made about how I fixed my Samsung Microwave plagued with the dreaded 5E (SE) error. Like many other people, my Samsung Microwave started giving me an SE error a little after a year after I bought it. When I called Samsung, they told me the warranty was up and suggested I should call an appliance repair company. I followed their advice on this site and tried to repair the microwave myself by cleaning the display pad. The fix took me about 15 minutes and seems to have worked. Two weeks later, and the microwave is still working fine. Keep your fingers crossed. Some other commentators on this site have suggested that Samsung may now fix this error if you mention all the negative comments on this and similar sites. I will give Samsung another call and see if this approach works if the microwave fails again and once again I am plagued with an SE error.

My Samsung refrigerator is still under factory warranty (5-years). The freezer compressor, heat exchanger & filter dryer went out. Contacted Samsung at least 10 times over the past two weeks. Their contractor that does their warranty repair does not have any certified technicians in my area and advised me to go back to Samsung for them to locate a certified technician. Samsung states they dont have any certified technicians and they will refund me up to $1954.00 (key word up to). However it will take 10-14 days for their finance dept. to verify the amount and issue a check. That means 30 days without a freezer compartment. I need ice to pack on my wifes leg for her knee replacement surgery. Temps. here in So. Calif. have been running between 100f and 114f. Constant running to store to obtain ice. The sad part is every time I speak with their rep. on the phone the issue will be taken care of in 3 days. Never will I buy a Samsung product again. Their service is terrible.

At first I thought it was that the door was ajar, but with careful scrutiny, it isnt that the door is left open. Bought a side by side refrigerator RS25J500DSR 17 days ago. After waiting the 24 hours for the ice to make, it was evident that there was a problem. The refrigerator only serves two people and one of them is gone most of the day. Its bin has only gotten filled more than a quarter of the way one time when we were out of town for 4 days. We only fill our glasses 1/4 way with ice in an effort not to be without ice entirely. Reported problem to Samsung and a tech called back. Had me to do the tests described in the video then he told me the ice maker was working fine and he was closing my file but would call me the next day to see if resetting it had helped. The next day, no call. Refrigerator was not bothered for 4 hrs. and the bin had approximately 30 pieces of ice. So the next day called Samsung again. Was again told they would send out a repairman. Today, was called by Tech. He stated that he was trained by the engineer and the ice maker in this refrigerator only makes 6 pieces of ice every 90 minutes - 2 hours. A total of 70 pieces of ice in a 24 hr. period. It is not designed to provide very much ice. I cant imagine that anyone would buy a refrigerator and not rely on it for daily ice. He also stated that the bin is not suppose to fill up more than 1/4 way full. Again they have refused to send anyone out because they know their ice maker is practically worthless. I wish I had seen these complaints before I bought it. I did look at the rating for this product and since it had a high rating I thought I would be pleased. However, this is the worst purchase I have made in 60 years. I dont ever plan to buy anything that is Samsung again.

I have already read several accounts of what has also happened to us - our refrigerator stopped cooling, allowing our food to go bad, which I feel put our family at risk of food-borne illness. We also had to throw all of our food which was substantial. This is clearly not an isolated incident and I feel that Samsung is being very irresponsible. Instead of issuing a recall, which would be the ethical thing to do, they are avoiding helping consumers find any solution at all. I posted my issue on their Facebook page and mine was the only complaint that went unanswered - likely because of the class action suit against them for just this reason. If they help you, they are admitting something was flawed with the design. I contacted them directly and I have not heard back yet. Very disappointed.

My Samsung refrigerator is a a few years old and has had the same problems. I had problems with the leak/icing up under the drink pull out tray also. Now, the power went off in our neighborhood and when it came back on, the control panel only shows 86 88 and it doesnt respond to touch. The door has started to rust below the ice dispenser due to moisture from the small catch tray. This is not my first Samsung appliance either. I threw away a washer & dryer set I bought that had multiple problems after one year. I too will not purchase any appliances from Samsung. The TVs seem to be working fine. I have two Samsung flat panels. I replaced all of my appliances with Maytag and eliminated all my problems.

Bought 2 of these Samsung RF263BEAESR refrigerators for my sons. A few months later we realized they were both running practically all the time. On investigation we found that when the right door is closed last, it blows the left door open about 1/4 inch which exposes the interior of the refrigerator to outside air, rendering the insulation ineffective. However, its not enough to set off the door alarm so you wont know it. Samsungs warranty servicer for my area says its normal for this model and Samsung will not warranty this problem. Samsung Model DW80K7050UG/AA-0000 failed twice in two years: - Touch screen failed to respond- Top sprayer wand bearing failureThe touch screen failed to respond unless the power was reset. This got progressively worse until we had to replace the dishwasher with a Maytag. The display board was $150, but the problem might’ve been in the main control board which contain the power supply. Since it was out of warranty the repair may have cost $300.After a year of ownership, the top sprayer wand bearing failed because it was ground down by debris picked up by the dishwasher. I consider this a design defect. Fortunately this was under warranty repair but the dishwasher was out of service for about two weeks. Being an engineer, I deem this to be a design failure where on filtered water was put into a bearing which ground the plastic down until the bearing failed. I am no longer a believer and Samsung dishwashers.

Samsung is horrible! I purchased a Samsung Bottom Mount Freezer in April of 2010 from Sears. I was told that it was rated five stars by Consumer Reports. Best fridge out there for my price range, according to the sales guy. In August of 2011, my freezer section was heating up. To make a long story short, Samsung told me to deal with it since it has a one year warranty and they dont know how long their appliances last. I called every repair man in my area but no one will work on Samsung because they are so hard to deal with and get parts for.I ended up with Sears Home Appliance Repair. They are the only ones willing to work on this product. Three weeks later and $500.00 worth of meat spoiled, I get the guy to my house only to find out that my condenser and compressor are broken and heating up. Did I mention that I was also getting water in the fridge part under the cold cut drawer, which apparently was caused by a clogged drain line? Really. How does all this happen to a brand new fridge? It takes two weeks to get my parts only to find out that they were already broken when I received them.Another two weeks later, my fridge parts come in. Get this. The freezer section caught on fire as soon as the parts were put in by their certified technician. He soldered through my firewall and burnt out the whole bottom of my freezer. I am told that Samsung and/or Sears will replace the unit for free and that the fridge section is okay to use since the repairman took out all the bad parts. Two days later, the fridge caught on fire again. Luckily, I was home to throw it out my front door at 8 oclock on a Sunday night. My house smells like smoke, all my food is destroyed, and the service woman on the phone had the ** to tell me that I should be grateful that I was offered $500.00 in a voucher to Sears towards a new appliance since their service man did not want to do the job anyway. It took me six days of nonstop phone calls to customer service to get my money back--a full refund. If I did not take three hours a day out of my life to hound every person, I would still be waiting for those people to review my case. All I expect is a product that works longer than one year, is that so bad? And if, for some reason, beyond my control, that appliance stops working, is it wrong to ask for a fair treatment and a full refund to replace it? I had to work hard to get these Customer Service people to treat me like I was a customer. My advice is do not give up. Make them see that they cant keep doing this and get away with it.I am done with any Samsung appliance and I am done with shopping at Sears. They are unfair, rude and thieves. I am happy to get my money back so I can go buy a Frigidaire. They cost a little more but they work. I was fooled by the fancy lights and options. Now, I am going back to simple clean and reliable. Dont buy Samsung. If I wasnt home, what would have happened to my house when the fridge caught on fire? Buyers, beware! They dont care about you; they care about your money!

Dangerous and scalding to the touch (on the outside) on self-cleaning mode, melted my cupboards on both sides of the range. Of course Samsung will not acknowledge that there is a problem with this unit doing this. Leons Furniture (where I bought it from) will not accept any responsibility either. They (Samsung) is now telling us that the consumer needs at least 3 inches on each side of the range for clearance (who in the heck would build an opening that huge for their range and it would also be aesthetically ugly) and how stupid would that look for a slide in range (the glass top would not sit on top of the counter then??). Then the next excuse is that you should pull your range out every time you self-clean... really?? (Not with my bad back!) Strange that in every distributor that sells this range such as Lowes, Home Depot, Leons that their display models do not have a huge 3 in gap on both sides of the range, can you say FALSE ADVERTISING!Before I bought this monstrosity I had a Kenmore slide in range and never, EVER, did I have a high heat/scalding to the touch issue with it, it never caused damage to the surrounding cupboards either. Beware of this extremely dangerous product and most of all they (Samsung) will take your money but they surely dont care if they damage your newly remodeled kitchen. Warning... keep children and pets away from this dangerous product. I now see why they have so many complaints about phones, dryers and now stoves. At least stand behind your product if they damage a consumers property!

I purchased a microwave last year and all of a sudden it started turning on by itself. I located on Samsung website was a sensor seems straightforward and obvious, same exact issues happening. They send a tech out who looked and bent my hinges as an attempt to “fix” a brand new microwave. As soon as tech leaves I open the microwave and close it, it turns back on so it wasn’t fixed within 5 minutes of tech leavening. I call Samsung. They schedule me again for another tech. I took off work again now 2 days. They never show up. I call Samsung and they told me they never came because the first tech said there wasn’t an issue with the microwave. Which is mind blowing considering he bent my microwave and damaged it to fix a problem that didn’t exist? And they couldn’t of told me that before I took off another day of work. So end result was hours wasted 2 days off work. No fix and they proceeded to tell me the customer that my microwave functions properly even tho it turns on by itself and turns off without any input. I have never dealt with such a terrible company who said they can’t do anything for me because at this point it’s their tech company and Samsung isn’t responsible so I’m out 2 days a work and a over the range brand new microwave now needing to be replaced. Bought July 2016. Now 3 1/2 years old. Called because freezer was not freezing while refrigerator still worked. Day before tech came found ice on inside wall of refrigerator. Tech said two problems. Ice on the wall is a little problem. Freezer is big problem. I would have to pay for the little problem and warranty would cover freezer. GREAT worth fixing. Freezer had a Freon leak. Suppose to be covered. After working on and discussing with manager he said they wont warranty it, there are many leaks in copper tubing and corrosion on compression. Said it was due to environmental reasons maybe humidity. Crazy we built our house 30 years ago and put in a Sears Kenmore refrigerator. It lasted 27 years without any repairs, replaced because of color. No leaks. No corrosion. Was still working. My house has copper tubing plumbing. I havent had a leak in 30 years. Other appliances replaced washing machine 1 time during the 30 years and I am on 3rd dishwasher (once to update color once because I tripped and fell on door bending the hinges). In fact I bought the dishwasher around same time as Samsung refrigerator and it is still going. Only the Samsung refrigerator rotted out in 3 years. Not one p problem two problems on this Samsung in 3 years. Search sealant leaks, Freon leaks. You will find it is not uncommon for relatively new Samsung refrigerators.

We have had the worst experience ever with our Samsung fridge. I was so excited to get it. It was really nice and had lots of room. But from the start it never made much ice. The ice maker kept going out and they sent repairmen out a few times to fix it. We eventually got a new fridge and had the exact same problem. We got this one “repaired” 5 times before they finally admitted it was unfixable and agreed to a refund. The refund process has been a nightmare and we have been dealing with it for 7 weeks now. We have been told different info from different agents. We have been put on hold to be transferred to supervisors and then hung up on. We have been told we would get emails with no contact. It’s been a joke. We were told 2 days ago that the refund was approved and we just need to wait for an email. I called back yesterday and got hung up on 3 different times. I called back today and was told it’s not approved yet and was given MORE excuses as to why. I don’t recommend anyone to EVER buy a Samsung appliance! If you ever have to deal with their customer service or refund department, you will go insane and it’s not worth it. Just don’t waste your money in the first place! I know I never will again.

When I purchased my Samsung refrigerator, at the time was the number 1 rated refrigerator of its type. From early on, I had started having troubles with the lower ice maker plastic parts breaking off. The service tech said that this was a common problem. Later we started having issues with the upper unit not cooling. Again I had a service tech come out only to tell me that the Twin Cool Plus system is another common problem. I was told to empty my refrigerator and turn it off for 24-48 hours to allow the unit to defrost. Or I could use a blow dryer and try to speed up the process. Is this what it has come to?? I called on several occasions to discuss what they would do to solve the Twin Cool Plus problem, and all they wanted to do is to send another service tech at my expense to look at the refrigerator. Nothing ever gets resolved, nor do they seem to care.

I am so upset with SAMSUNG appliances. We purchased a refrigerator Model #RF28HFEDBSR from them in 2014. It worked fine until months ago when we had Samsungs provider One Stop Appliance come and fix it. $330 and a 90 day warranty. At 120 days the same problem occurred so we called the Geek Squad because we purchased it at Best Buy. They came and fixed the exact same problem for another $330. Now we are again about 20 days out of the 90 day warranty and Samsung WONT DO ANYTHING!!Its ridiculous that we have to pay for the same issue to be fixed over and over again. They are supposed to have such good customer service but we are certainly not feeling it. They told me twice they would help but they would charge us AGAIN to fix the same problem for a THIRD time!! Why do they get high ratings??? I dont understand it. STAY AWAY FROM SAMSUNG APPLIANCES!! BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. Please share! Thanks.

Purchased Samsung Oven (flex), Washer, Dryer, and Dishwasher. 11/24/2017. Washer completely died last March - unable to fix, wiring harness issue. This week Oven has taken on a life of its own - no matter what you push (including warming drawer) the broiler comes on. You’ll get a C21 overheat warning and door locks. Customer Service gave me the number of a phone repair company to call for repairs. I can promise you I will never purchase anything in future with Samsung on it - absolutely no quality.

BEWARE. Had problems from the first week. Leaks like crazy on the heavy wash cycle. After several service calls and repairs we gave up and stopped using that cycle as the issue could never be resolved. We only use the express cycle to avoid leakage. Worked that way for a year. Now we have a computer problem where the key pad just blinks but the dishwasher wont start. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesnt. Most expensive piece of garbage weve ever purchased. So sick of service calls. Going to trash this piece of junk and cut our VERY EXPENSIVE losses. This was supposed to be top of the line. Dont be fooled. Its garbage.

Suddenly after 4.5 years the controls on our Samsung model RB194ACRS fridge
Suddenly after 4.5 years the controls on our Samsung model RB194ACRS fridge have gone wonky. The freezer goes away down below the set temperature, the temperature indicator on the door gives the wrong temperature reading, the child lock is on, though not selected. As a consequence the crispers freeze and the defrost water running down the back wall freezes in or under the crispers. The drain issue can be solved by defrosting or adding a part, but with $300 invested in a new fridge sensor, a new freezer sensor and a new motherboard, we are at the end. The authorized Samsung service people do not believe that a second replacement motherboard will change anything and so it is new fridge time. It wont be a Samsung.

Purchased french door, freezer on bottom model March 2014. Hinge wheel broke 11/2014, cannot get it repaired because they keep sending wrong part. Dec 2014, start making loud banging noise. Were told they would replace fridge BUT someone wrote it up as installation problem rather than insulation problem. Cannot get any answers. They now say it is out of warranty (I actually told them I thought they were delaying on purpose until we were out of warranty). Terrible service! Spend hours on the phone with Samsung. Last Samsung product we will buy (we have 7 Samsung major appliances).

Samsung Model RF263AEPN/XAA - Seven (7) weeks ago my refrigerator began not keeping as cold as it should. When I tried to turn down the temperature it would turn down but then immediately return to the same not really cold state it had been working at. Sounded like it should be an easy problem to fix. However, I called several repair places who told me they would not, or could not, work on Samsung refrigerators as they were not made like other refrigerators, were hard to work on, and parts were hard to come by as only one place in the United States carries the parts. I finally found a repair place that came out and replaced some items and charged us hundreds of dollars, however the refrigerator was still not cold. I called again and the repair person returned. The next time two workers were sent out to look at the refrigerator. On one of the visits I was told me it needed a new green computer board. The repair person ordered the part and came back, only to find that the part sent was not the part that had been requested. This same scenario played out two more times, with today being the last day. I called Samsung and was given the run-around. During todays visit the repair person showed me what had been ordered and the order matched the part number on what he said the refrigerator needed. However, when he showed me the part that had been sent to him, it was the wrong part number. Are Samsung workers so inept at their jobs that the correct part number cannot be sent on three occasions? I will never again buy any Samsung products. I had to laugh as while I was on hold with Samsungs customer relations today, I was put on hold and what did I hear expect that Samsung products are the best. This is a false advertisement to the general consumer. I would urge anyone reading this to NOT BUY SAMSUNG PRODUCTS for several reasons, e.g. parts are hard to come by due to Samsung not making sure their parts pullers have adequate education to do the job they are hired to do, there is only one provider of Samsung parts in the United States, and the normal repair person cannot repair a Samsung. Tonight, my husband and I will go out and find a new refrigerator and I am sure it will not cost the $2,300 that this Samsung did, and the new refrigerator will be able to be worked on by pretty much any refrigerator repair person. I have an appointment to meet with a Lawyer this afternoon about this whole situation and hopefully that will help to alleviate some of the frustration that I am feeling now.

All of the negative reviews are true. This ice build up problem is real. I’ve had it fixed twice in 3 years since I bought it. Our washing machine has been shaking and making weird noises as well as the dryer. The dishwasher started leaking right before I started this review which led me to write it to warn people not to buy Samsung appliances. 3 years and nothing but headaches. I have a 20 year old Frigidaire refrigerator in my basement and it works better than my new one. Shame on you Samsung for not helping your consumers. I will never buy Samsung again.

We purchased all 4 appliances from Samsung when we moved into our new home
We purchased all 4 appliances from Samsung when we moved into our new home (Refrigerator, stove, over-the-range microwave, and dishwasher). A package deal from the former Future Shop chain. Total price was just over $4,500 for the stainless steel set. Within one year, things started to fail. The fan on the convection stove stopped one month after the warranty ended. I fixed it myself to the tune of $90. 2 years on, the dishwasher grew louder and louder. The dishes never cleaned 100% perfectly. Eventually we had to wash the dishes when nobody was home (That loud). 36 months after purchase, the refrigerator began to ice up and stopped working. Two repair bills and 2 loads of spoiled food. We gave up on it and had to replace it. Repair bills were $200. Lost groceries were $250. New Frigidaire price? = $2500+. At the anniversary of year 4, the dishwasher quit. Bosch replacement? - $800.Now the microwave. The plastic door hook broke inside. I had to rig the tension spring onto another inside part so it would work. Then the top, plastic grill broke. The screw clips fatigued and split causing the grill to fall. Now the door wont close and the replacement part isnt made anymore. Cost to replace the microwave? - Still looking today (Probably +$500). So there you have it friends. DONT BUY SAMSUNG.

I ordered the Install and old appliance haul away when I bought my dishwash
I ordered the Install and old appliance haul away when I bought my dishwasher. I got neither of these things. The all in one package is why I chose Samsung to begin with. The contractors who arrived with my appliance had no certifications to install anything nor did they bring any tools (I had to give them my tools). The contractors pulled my old dishwasher halfway out and said they couldnt go any further for fear of damaging the wall (the washer wasnt connected to the wall and any qualified installation tech or plumber would have known that). So they left me stuck with a dishwasher halfway out of place. I had to get a plumber to come out and finish the job which costed me money! I was also transferred 5 times because agents kept transferring me to the wrong department and had to call twice because while on hold I was transferred to the review line which took me off the call. After finally being transferred to the home appliance line the agent kept telling me he understood my frustration and he would be upset too if that happened to him. After I asked at the bare minimum compensate me for the the plumber having to come out he told me there was NOTHING he could do because it was XPOs fault not Samsung. Well I paid Samsung for a Samsung product so yes it is Samsungs fault! So Im out the money for a plumber!I have already left a complaint with the BBB and will not be ordering anything from such a dishonest company again. I was lied to when the Samsung website said installation and haul away. The best offer I got from the agent was they could send someone out the week after which is completely unacceptable because again my dishwasher was hanging halfway out! All the agents I talked to should feel ashamed of their terrible customer service and Samsung should be ashamed that they LIE on their website.

I am going to sound like a broken record on here. NEVER buy a Samsung dishwasher!!! Every single part has been replaced, and yet it still does not work! Technician said there is literally no other parts to replace. Yet Samsung says too bad. If its deemed ineffective they will prorate the machine for reimbursement. At this point, its pennies. I think we should all band together and file a class action lawsuit against them. We all work hard for our money, and for them to provide a misleading, ineffective machine is awful. We bought a new over the stove Samsung Microwave and its faulty after 2 months. It comes up with error code and you cannot use it at all. This started about one month after we bought it. They keep telling us they are waiting for a part, but they have never come out to look at it. All they have is the error code which makes me wonder if this is a known fault and what happens after the warranty is over. We have had a Samsung washer that has been great. The service company keeps telling us they are waiting on a part but its now going on 3 weeks without a microwave.

I have a RS265TDRS French door refrigerator now for 2.5 years. The cooling coils kept freezing up and it took 2 repairs costing $300 plus to fix the issue. Now the freezer is draining water into the lower part of the freezer and after a week water drains on the floor. Samsung will not warranty the defect and I will have to pay for the fix. And goodluck have a Samsung repair service center sending a representative out in a timely manner. I called a local service company and had a repair service rep the next day.

We purchased a 20 c.f. French door, bottom freezer, Samsung Model RF217ACWP
We purchased a 20 c.f. French door, bottom freezer, Samsung Model RF217ACWP refrigerator on August 11, 2013. It was delivered to us on August 14, 2013. We are not happy with the continuous obnoxious noises this refrigerator makes - a very high pitched noise, a rattling noise that gets progressively louder, and a noise like water running. It is constant noise any time this refrigerator cycles through whatever the cycle is at the time. The drawers in the freezer compartment are iced over all the time and have been since day one. This does not seem normal. On Oct. 11, 2013 we went to the Sears store where we purchased this refrigerator to discuss returning it. The salesman told us no problem since the refrigerator was so new but he had to call Customer Solutions to get it scheduled for pick up.Customer Solutions informed us that since it had been more than 30 days since the purchase, we would have to pay a 15% restocking fee unless we have a service technician look at the refrigerator, that this would be the way to avoid the restock fee. We have no intention of keeping this refrigerator and no interest in exchanging it for the same Samsung product. We wish to return it for a refund so that we can purchase a US made.It appears that Sears has recently (October 06, 2013) changed their return policy on appliances. At the time we purchased we were told that we had 60 days to return. On October 11, 2013 the salesman at Sears was very surprised to hear that Customer Solutions was requiring us to have a service technician look at this refrigerator to avoid a 15% re-stock fee. Seems that Sears can change their return policy and make it retroactive. We have read the many complaints concerning Samsung refrigerators, Sears, etc. We would be interested in joining a class action lawsuit against Samsung, Sears and anyone else selling this inferior product.

We purchased model #RF263BEAEBC and immediately had problems with the ice maker. It would leak water every time we used it and the ice would come out soft and mostly broken. After 5 service calls and a complete ice maker replacement during the 1 year MFG warranty, Samsung said there is nothing else they can do and left us with the same problem. Now the refrigerator is 1 year and 8 months old and is very noisy when it comes on and the ice maker problems are still there. I will never buy another Samsung product again. I bought the French Door Fridge 18 months ago. I love the look. I love the storage space. Hate the knocking although that has improved a great deal after six months, and after they suggested I switch the Ice button to off - since I dont use it. It still Pops, Snapples and Cracks a bit but that is probably normal for most refrigerators. My main beef is the crisper drawers. Rather than be just one piece, the front of the crisper comes off to enable cleaning in the crack where the pieces join. (If it was only one piece, there would be no cracks to accumulate food bits.) Why they decided to build a crisper that needs to be disassembled and reassembled I cant fathom. Anyway, one needs a screwdriver to pry open the thin plastic latches that keep it together. You guessed it! I broke one side of one of the latches and now I need to use bother hands when I pull it out to make sure I dont break the hinge on the other side. Normally, I would just buy a new drawer. Samsung uses independent companies to sell their parts. The price? $120 CDN!!! I thanked them and went out and bought plastic Glue. And as I write this, I think I will fill the crack with plastic glue too. I wished this had happened two weeks ago before I bought a Samsung Range and Dishwasher.
