Bad quality and poor service. We bought the French door refrigerator about 2 years ago for more than $3000. Now the upper section is overcooling and Samsungs authorized technician came charged $220 and did not fix the problem. It lasted 32 days just more than 2 days over the warranty period. Now they say you have to pay again the same cost again.

Before Thanksgiving, the freezer stopped working. I had to throw out hundreds of dollars of food. I called in a service repair person. The first repair guy said he could not fix it. Our home owners warranty company called in Sears repair and they fixed it. Now 3 1/2 months later, the same thing is happening, this refrigerator is defective. I again had to throw out hundreds of dollars of food. I called Samsung. They said, Sorry, we will send a repair person but you will have to pay for service call and parts. I said unacceptable. Samsung should stand by their products, this refrigerator is obviously defective. Do not buy Samsung, very poor customer service!!!!

The panel that shows the time and the timer keeps flashing steam and medium in the background. It’s not even a year old. Very disappointed that it’s already falling apart. Also has a scratch on the top even though I’ve been very careful when using pots on stove and very hard to keep clean!! Have to clean the top every day.

I called Lowes after we had opened everything that was delivered with our new Samsung oven/range to say the griddle was missing. They said the griddle in their display was scratched and to call Samsung. I called Samsung and ended up texting our receipt to verify purchase. I was told it had gone through and the griddle would be delivered with 15 business days, this was on Aug. 26th. On Sept. 27th I called to find out why I hadnt received it yet and was apologized to and told there was no explanation as to why it didnt ship, but she assured me it would go out that day. Oct. 15th I call once again and now am told it does not come with a griddle, of course I asked why it was shown to come with the griddle at Lowes and both times I had called Samsung they never said it didnt. I asked to speak to a manager who on again repeated it didnt come with it. There was o explanation as to the fact 3 other people said it DID come with it. I was left with No. We are NOT going to honor this. My manual doesnt show it on that model, again no explanation as to why it was displayed with one and 2 previous Samsung representatives said it did come with it. All of my appliances were replaced with Samsung when we moved into our home 2 months ago, they dont really care, so Ill never buy another Samsung anything. For a part that probably didnt even cost that much, they didnt care that Ive just purchased these Samsung appliances: gas stove, electric microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, washer and dryer.

First the poor design was the ice maker which broke three times. Repaired it twice and gave up. Bought ice maker. (Mine was the ice maker on top of freezer. Always getting knocked into and broken). I noticed new models dont have the ice maker on top of freezer. Plastic parts broke. Now it is hot in the refrigerator and freezer. Lost between $200 -300 dollars worth of food. Then TRY to find a repairmen. What a sorry lot. Supposed to come last Thursday, truck broke down. Was rescheduled for Sat. No show. Now they can come Sat. That is one week and a half without a refrigerator. I spent big bucks on this I believe 4 or five years ago. Will NEVER get another Samsung product.

Just installed this Model ME21H706MQS/AC microwave. Turned it on started on fire. Luckily we were right there and caught it. Samsung should be ashamed of themselves for manufacturing such product. We just bought all new Samsung appliances including stove, fridge, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer. All top of the line items. It kinda makes you wonder what sort of crap they are making. Very concerned with their quality control. Bought at Home Depot Peterborough Canada.

I bought a Samsung French Door RFG297 refrigerator in Dec. 2011. It broke down after 2 years. First sign is the ice melted and spilt water all over because the ice melted and then not make any ice anymore after one day; the freezer is not cold anymore. Please read the reviews before you buy a Samsung refrigerator because I really care, and I don’t want it to happen to you. I wish I read all of the reviews about this product before I bought it. I even called customer care if a lot of people make complaints about Samsung refrigerator, and she said no because I told her I saw a hundred complaints about the same problem. I asked her if the company is doing something or a recall of the product and she said no. Please keep putting on reviews about this product, because I still expect mass recall for this refrigerator.

Do not buy Samsung appliances. Ours is 3 years old. The ice maker fell apart. Within the last month, we have started to experience water collecting in the veg drawers. It freezes anything in the drawers. Were constantly breaking out the ice. Not able to find the source of the water, but we suspect defrost runoff. $1800 fridge gone bad in 3 years. WASTE OF MONEY. After 6 months the ice maker would not give whole cubes. This got progressively worse until all I got was crushed ice. Samsung replaced Ice Maker but, again, problem came back. By now refrigerator was out of warranty and Samsung would not do anything! This is probably design defect as so many others have same problem and Samsung cannot correct it. In addition. I also have spot about 3/4 in. long below ice maker where the paint is coming off and, again, Samsung says its cosmetic and not covered. I guess it doesnt bother the company how the product looks and works after theyve made the sale! My recourse is not to buy their products nor recommend them.

RF series fridge freezes up, leaks water on to floor causing damage to flooring. Ice maker also freezes up. Must defrost fridge for an entire day every month or so. Samsung will not share the root cause of this failure. The solution offered by Samsung is to defrost it for 24 hours. Our $1000.00 dishwasher was placed curbside after 1.5 years. Microwave oven also failed after 3.5 years. Dont purchase Samsung appliances unless you are willing to replace the appliances every 2 years.

We use our microwave for cooking and reheating. We have had it for three yrs and it has always performed perfectly. We bought it as upgrade in stainless and it looks great in our kitchen! It is the largest microwave I have ever owned by far, but the main reason I purchased was the online ratings and reviews. My wife is as close to a five star chef as there is, but she works long hours sometimes. I point this out because she preps meals a week in advance for our family, so the microwave is used daily.

After reading all of these complaints, Im just sick to my stomach that we didnt find this page before we bought our Samsung Oven. We bought a Samsung Microwave as well, but that seems fine. This oven is just over a year old (purchased Feb 2014) and has not worked properly for several months, but now we cant even manipulate it to work at all. We set a temperature and it slowly heats up. When it alerts you that it is to temperature, it is actually not. We turn it off and back on again (without opening the door) and it registers a temperature about 40-50 degrees less that what I set it for. Called Samsung and in a very monotone voice she announced that the oven was out of warranty. She said she could have someone call us to come out and service the oven, but no one has called yet. Its been a week. Although after reading some of the posts, Im seeing that many service companies refuse to work on Samsung ovens. Maybe they are tired of being yelled at by frustrated consumers. Plus many people have stated that they have paid as much as a new oven in service calls and it still doesnt work. I dont know if we should just buy another new oven (not Samsung) or what. It seems like more wasted money to have it serviced. Hundreds of dollars down the drain.

Ice maker valve froze up. Samsung did not know what part number it was! How is that possible? Parts dept totally incompetent. Ask for a supervisor and waited 17 minutes, got voicemail. No return call. No surprise. They sent wrong part and will not allow it to be returned. I love the fridge design so I ignored other review warnings not to buy one. HUGE mistake. DO NOT BUY SAMSUNG. We bought the Samsung Smooth Top NE595R0ABSR stove and for the first year it was awesome. Heated things quickly, oven did not heat up the whole kitchen even when roasting a turkey. THEN - 14 months later turned on the oven, there was sparks and it blew the breaker. No warranty and with research found that it was common to lose a oven element ever so often but only if you use the oven, which we do every 10 to 14 days. Then the burners start going out, but only if you use them often. OK I admit we cook our meals and dont dine out, silly us for wanting a reliable stove. I wish I could give it negative 4 stars. It looks good so -5 would be too picky.

5E code came up. I watched several videos and read several instructions for accessing the control panel on 9207 Samsung microwaves, but the instructions are for control panels located on the main chassis, not on the bottom of the door where it is on an actual 9207. There seems no way of getting into the door to the control panel without cracking the seal on the glass or damaging the stainless steel guard that runs along the bottom front of the door. Any thoughts, any theories? I hope that the pictures help some. In #4 you can see that there were two silver tabs on the leading edge of the door for the front bottom steel strip to hook onto, but pulling those tabs didnt release the strip to gain access to the control panel.

I had my Samsung French Door refrigerator for approx. 5 years and the same thing. First the handle came off on the freezer. The digital panel went out 3 times. Now it leaks water and does not cool or freeze. Its not under warranty anymore. I called a technician and they state it needs Freon but from what I understand this appliance is supposed to have a closed system. From this point, I refuse to buy anything else Samsung. There should be a class action lawsuit. This is 1800 dollars gone to waste. We had a Kenmore for 20+ years that never leaked or needed Freon and we got rid of it to upgrade.

They offered me a store credit and went so far as to give me a number to fax my sales receipt to in order to facilitate said credit and later told me they dont even do store credits!!! Bought the dishwasher in 7/2017. Have had 3 repairs in 10 months and even when its working it does a terrible job and I want it removed and a refund. They absolutely refused despite repeated phone calls even up to someone at the office of the president who gave me the same line. NO REFUNDS, exchange only. No thank you. The refrigerator started out pretty good. However the water spout is located inside the fridge and this has posed a major inconvenience along with increasing the humidity in the fridge during the hot humid summer. Had to defrost it three times because the drain hose froze up. First time it froze everything in the back side of the fridge. Ice build up stopped the fan & burned it out. Once thawed out & fan replaced it worked well about 3 months, Drain Has frozen up twice since the fan being replaced. Not recommended.

I remodeled my kitchen 2 years ago and purchased all Samsung appliances. This was the worst decision I have made in a long time. First of all every piece is garbage. What happened to Samsung?? WOW!! But specifically the oven is dangerous. I have considered replacing it since it was brand new because of the fire hazard. My daughters bedroom is right off of the kitchen. I have melted multiple plastic bags and set several things on fire because all the time the knob gets bumped on when you walk by it or reach to the microwave above to and brush against it. One morning when I went in there the burner was on, just barely thank goodness, and someone had put a Krispy Cream box on the stove. The box was brown from getting hot. I took a picture of it. I had three teenagers in the room next to the kitchen. One day Samsung is going to have a HUGE lawsuit on their hands when someone dies in a fire due to the ignorance of their engineers and the refusal of the company to correct the defect. It should be common sense to put as safety on these knobs. I am not surprised to have come across this page. Never will I purchase anything else made by Samsung.

I couldnt hate Samsung and their POS products any more than I do right now. Our refrigerator started acting up when it was 3.5 years old. Occasional loud grinding noises that we thought was the fan scraping against a buildup of ice. Almost a year later the noises stopped and the fridge temperature went up to where it was barely keeping the fridge cool enough to be functional. A repairman came, diagnosed and fixed the issue very quickly and cheaply, and we were quite satisfied. Until it stopped working again less than 30 days later. Now the same repairman thinks its a seal system issue, which his company doesnt address. Was told our issue would be expedited because we cant live without a refrigerator. That was a week ago. Samsung initially said a new repair company would contact us within 24 - 48 hours. I had to call back 3 times after that window to finally get a service repair number from them. IT WAS THE NUMBER OF THE SAME COMPANY THAT ALREADY CAME TO THE HOUSE AND SAID THEY WERE UNABLE TO FIX IT. Called Samsung again, and they gave me another number to call. That company ALSO said they dont address seal system issues. Called Samsung AGAIN. Now they dont know if theres anybody in our area who can address this issue. But not to worry, because theyll call me in 24 - 48 hours to let me know if theyve found somebody! Meanwhile Im supposed to give my toddler spoiled milk with his takeout dinner? Ill drop dead before I EVER buy another Samsung product.

We have a Samsung 3 door fridge with a bottom freezer (Model RF217ACPN) which has been leaking water into the crisper ever since we bought it. The first year we had it, it started to leak water and Samsung sent a service man out to fix it. He fixed it but months later it started to leak again. After he fixed it, 3 weeks later it leaked again. Samsung has paid for all of these repairmen at a cost of $200.00 a visit. When we call Customer Service about a refund or replacement we get stonewalled. They will not even let us talk to anyone higher than a customer service rep. We are very frustrated as they say their tech dept. has to deem this unit as having a factory defect. I dont know, and they cant tell me, how this is determined. They have already spent almost the original price of the fridge in repair bills but refuse to make this whole thing right. We bought the model # DMT400RHW about 4 years ago. It has no buttons on the front. Just touch sensitive ones on top. Anyways we were so excited to have this dishwasher, I have two little kids (4 & 2) and they wouldnt be able to get into it, etc... However, my family and kids started getting sick a lot more than normal. I took my kids to a homeopathic doctor and discovered my son has an extreme issue with mold and allergies. He was allergic to penicillin, etc... Well, we also noticed the dishwasher didnt smell quite right after using it and couldnt figure out what the deal was. It looked clean inside. I bought dishwasher cleaners and ran those through it. It still smelled. Everyone kept asking us if we had mold in our house that might be making us sick. I scoured the house and could find nothing. Then, I was emptying the dishwasher a couple weeks ago and noticed that there was a bit of black stuff at the bottom of the front door coming out from under the seal. I got a paper towel and when I ran it under the seal and it came away black with mold and smelled like vomit. All this time Ive been washing dishes with that junk! No wonder my family has been so sick! I called the company customer service and they said theyve never had this problem with any of their models ever. I find that hard to believe! My husband says its a faulty design. I agree. If the seal was flush to the door no food and water could get trapped under it. Samsung said I just need to keep cleaning it with vinegar or bleach. Im sorry, but Ive never had to wipe out a dishwasher after every time I use it and I think thats ridiculous! I also dont like the fact that I cannot just do a rinse and dry cycle on this. You have to run it through fully every time. Needless to say we will not ever buy another Samsung again. Their customer service was terrible, even when I talked to a manager. Im over it already and now Im stuck with this faulty dishwasher.:(

A week ago, the refrigerator door handle became dislodged with no way to reattach it. We had to call a service rep to fix. Only he cannot. The screws that bolt unto the draw and handle are unique to the Samsung product. Using a standard bolt that is longer wont work. 4 years ago this month, we purchased over $5k in Samsung appliances for our new home... To date, we have had the ice maker repaired (or should I say a band aid was put on) 6 times!!! Our microwave does not vent any air, our dishwasher goes into OE error at least twice a week and our oven doesnt self clean, it doesnt clean at all! I think Samsung is trying to make us all nuts ! Ive never seen so many complaints about a fridge ice maker in my life... And its been happening for years and over these past few years Samsung is benefiting by gauging us poor consumers who need to pay for repairs because who can afford to replace all these appliances after only a few years ? There has to be something done, its not fair ! How can this be legal, years and years of complaints by hundreds of consumers and nothing is done ? Shame on you Samsung and NEVER EVER AGAIN...

Samsung FE710DRS/XAA Range. This range was built-in 2011 and we bought it in 2012. For the first year, it worked fine. Unfortunately, within a week or so of the warranty ending, the center element of the three element right front burner stopped working. Per Sears: We had to replace the front element AND the burner control switch, since one of them caused the other to stop working. In other words, the Sears technician didnt know which came first, the chicken or the egg! But! They were both bad! Unless! As he then added, Unless the controller is defective, in which case youll have to replace it too! Cost? Over $400. We decided to live without the center element, after all the middle and outer elements were working fine.AND THEN! Six months or so later, while my wife was baking the Christmas Turkey, the controller declared that the range was suffering an E-27 error! Naturally, I got out the operator manual! So! I turned off the circuit breaker as instructed! And the range worked. Until the next time. After that, every time we used the oven, we got either an E-27 error or an E-0A error. E-0A meaning that the oven was too hot.Naturally, Sears told us that we had to replace the oven temperature sensor and almost certainly the controller as well, since it PROBABLY was defective. Cost over $400! We decided to live with the E-27 and E-0A errors since turning the circuit breaker off and back on fixed the problem long enough that we could finish baking whatever we were baking. Unless, of course, my wife or daughter was baking a cake. Which is to say that if the controller declared an E-27 or E-0A error, the cake would be ruined. And then! The 2-element front left burner decided to operate at FULL POWER no matter where the burner control knob was set. Naturally, my wife found out that the hard way, as in: She left the kitchen to answer a phone call, while simmering vegetables for a soup, only to suddenly see smoke pouring from the kitchen! That was the last straw! So! We started looking for another range. BUT! The Samsung had one last nasty trick up its sleeve! The right rear burner OPENED while I was heating water.Just in case you dont know what OPENED means, as applied to an electrical device, it means that a conductor, as in a piece of wire (the wire in the burners of all-electric ranges are conductors) separated, in a spectacular fashion, as in: SPARKS and loud POPPING NOISES! No, it didnt blow the 50-amp breaker, but it kept right on sparking and popping for about a minute, when the wire in the burned finally pulled apart, which OPENED the circuit. AND SO NOW, we were down to one burner working properly, the left rear burner, one burner that was dead, the right rear burner, one burned that was limping, the right front burner, and one burner that would only work at full power. To be perfectly frank, I would not have a Samsung range if Samsung offered to give me one for free! AND! To be perfectly frank, I am not in the least surprised that Samsungs Galaxy Note 7 smartphones have batteries that can explode. In my humble opinion, I think that any person who buys anything made by Samsung is making a huge mistake!

Samsung dishwasher model DW80F800UWS was delivered on Nov. 28th. Looked great, but thats it. It left food in the bottom and food would be all over our other dishes too. My wife called the store we bought it from, Corbeil Appliance in Whitby. The sales lady told her she will have to call Samsung. So my wife did and they gave her a service center to call to check out the dishwasher. Now, the dishwasher never worked from the first day. My wife tried the dishwasher a few times and then called the store within 5 days of it being delivered. We should have been given a new dishwasher from the store and they should deal with Samsung for their horrible quality, but the store instructed my wife to call the service center. Can you believe a brand new Samsung product doesnt work the first time you try it and you have to call a service tech check it out? I guess that shows a lack of quality and assurance checks for Samsung. And Corbeil Appliance store should not be directing my wife to call Samsung after it never worked (and she called within 5 days of delivery). Anyways, the service tech came out on Dec.10th and said the sump pump is not working. They will order one from Samsung and then reschedule an appt. The next appt. was Dec.22 and the service tech put in the new sump pump and you guessed it... It did not work. So now it is almost 1 month later and we still do not have a working dishwasher. It is Dec. 23rd. Corbeil Appliances, the store we bought the Samsung dishwasher from does not care because they got our money no matter if the piece of crap works or not. Samsung doesnt care, when I called them they said I needed to have the service tech back. Why?, I asked. Samsung says, Because that is our policy, unless the service tech writes on the service order that the unit needs to be replaced. So I tried to call the service tech and they are on holiday until the New Year.So to sum it up, the Dishwasher was delivered on Nov. 28th and does not work, Corbeil Appliance was called to say the brand new appliance does not work. Corbeil Appliance told us to call Samsung. Called Samsung and we have a had 2 visits from the service tech and the dishwasher still does not work as of Dec.23rd. Samsung and Corbeil do not care that they sell brand new appliances that do not work. Please DO NOT BUY SAMSUNG products or buy from Corbeil Appliances in Whitby. To be continued in the 2016. Maybe the brand new dishwasher will be repaired during 2016 or who knows it could continue to 2017?

One of the front right burner, it does not come on with the igniter and then it finally does making a big flame because the gas has been on for a few seconds. They wanted me to troubleshoot the issue over the phone. I am not a train tech for this job. I am their customer. This being a safety issue for myself and my kids its unbelievable. I dont recommend and will buy anything from Samsung ever again.

Had a brand new (manufactured August 2013) Samsung SMH1816B OTR microwave oven installed on 2013-10-05. As soon as the installer plugged it in for the first time, it immediately turned itself on (magnetron engaged) and nothing except unplugging it would turn it off. Installer was unable to resolve the problem, even with telephone support from Samsung. A replacement will have to be ordered. Meanwhile, we have no microwave. This is my first Samsung product experience of any kind.

I bought the Samsung Microwave brand new at Costco when we built our new home. We are barely two years and the control panel has gone out of it. Were now experiencing the dreaded locked keypad with an SE error code, turning on in the middle of the night. Its past its warranty period. Never had a higher end appliance ever die that quickly. This is obviously a problem with this product as there are 70 complaints on here with the same issue. Something should be done as repair costs are the same amount as the microwave.

I have been told that the motherboard needs to be replaced. The fridge will not cool anymore. Go online and you will see that this is a very common problem and I guess Samsung does not care. My fiancé and I left our home with our daughter at approximately 8 AM this morning for work. We had both spent significant time in the kitchen before leaving and the microwave (SMH9187ST) was properly functioning (displaying the time, no one had used it since the night before.) When we returned around 5:30 PM, there was an electrical smoke smell emanating in the house. My fiancé immediately followed the smell to the kitchen, where he saw our Samsung microwave was smoking and the clock was not displaying. Upon opening the microwave, we observed more smoke and the scorched insides of the microwave. The glass turn table had shattered and there was a charred hole in the rear of the interior. There was obvious scorching up the back of the unit as well as on the top. He immediately opened the cabinet above the over-the-range microwave and unplugged it. There was no one in the house during the day, except our dog and 2 cats. The unit appears to have spontaneously combusted. After researching this model, I cannot believe it has been allowed to remain in homes this long after so many reports of damage, fire, and potential disasters. We are seriously lucky our home did not burn down with our pets inside today. Our daughter turns 1 tomorrow and is usually home with the babysitter, luckily she was not home today. I dont even want to think about how badly this could have ended for me and my family.

Updated on 05/05/2020: Sumsung does not stand by their appliances. Two weeks ago, my Samsung microwave - 4-1/2 yrs.old - turned itself on. Didnt hear it running until the fan came on. By that time, it had melted a splatter cover to the turntable. We had to unplug it to get it to stop. The unit was red hot. If we werent home, there could have been a serious fire. Samsungs response - a free service call to diagnose the problem. We would have to pay for the part ($121) plus labor. They assume no responsibility for a potentially dangerous situation. Weve already replaced the Samsung French door refrigerator because of a defective ice maker that would cost $500+ to repair (there is a class action lawsuit concerning this) as well as a potential $300 fan repair. We have had to replace the control panel on the Samsung range 5 months ago. All the Samsung appliances were bought new and delivered Jan. 29, 2015. My advice to anyone considering Samsung appliances - find another brand. Regardless of what Consumer Reports says (which we consulted before making the purchase), buy ANYTHING but Samsung. Thanks for letting me vent.Original Review: We have a Samsung microwave purchased on 2014. Today, the microwave evidently turned itself on without the fan. By the time the fan turned on and I heard it running, it had melted a plastic splatter cover to the turntable. We were unable to turn it off and had to go to the breaker to shut it off. If we werent home at the time, there could have been a fire in our kitchen. This is a very dangerous situation. This is the second Samsung appliance causing issues. We just replaced a Samsung refrigerator also purchased in 2014 that had weekly ice maker jams (we understand there is a class action suit against Samsung for this issue). All I can say is it is very fortunate we were home when the microwave malfunctioned. I intend to replace the microwave and report this issue directly to Samsung. Im sure there is no recourse except to repair or replace the unit. At this point, I have lost all faith in any Samsung appliance and will never purchase this brand again.

We purchased a Samsung French Door Style Refrigerator from our local Lowes about 6 years ago. A few years after we had it, the produce drawers started to get water in them and then started freezing into sheets of ice. It ruined produce, etc and then we couldnt use either of the drawers. It cost us at that time $200 to have it fixed. The repairman told me then that this was a common problem with this refrigerator and it had to do with the design. Just called a repairman today to come and repair my refrigerator with the very same issue. Another $250 repair into this product. Samsung should stand behind these repairs if this a poor design or defective part in this refrigerator. The next time it happens I will give the refrigerator away and never buy a Samsung again nor will I ever recommend this product to anyone.

DO NOT BUY FROM SAMSUNG. What a horrible piece of crap from a reliability perspective. Love the design and layout but... The icemaker starting leaking water, the fridge is 18 months old and I know it is out of warranty so I called a repairman (a trusted friend). He came to the house and said oh yeah I service Samsungs for this issue all the time, at least 5 or so a week. The icemaker and the auger unit needed to be replaced, $755, WHAT almost half the price I paid for the fridge itself. I looked online and the parts are over $400 at the cheapest place. I called Samsung and they said it is out of warranty and would not do anything to make me happy. I would call this a defect if the component is failing in less than 2 years, which according to my buddy he sees all of the time but what does Samsung care they are making a killing on repair parts on fridges that are less than 2 years old. I will never buy another product from this company and I suggest you dont either, complete junk.

OMG, Samsung refrigerators are totally worthless. We have had so many problems and service calls with our new Samsung fridge. Talk about, sounds like an airplane? Yes, it has something to do with the air circulation fan behind the thermostatically controlled shelf. The noise starts as a humming and moves on to a machine gun, hard click about once every half second. It started when the machine was new and happened 3 more times. The 1st and 2nd time we had it repaired. Today we are hauling away this nearly new machine. We loved this machine when we were shopping for a new fridge. We got this one because it had a dual compressor and a special thermostatically controlled drawer. Love and joy ended real fast because those are things that broke first. (We are 2 old people and we hardly go into the refrigerator -- so you cant blame any problems on kids and abusive overuse.) We hear our problem this week is a broken diverter -- will only be a mere $750 to fix. Right now our shiny, stainless unit is sitting on the sidewalk. Our fabulous new fridge from Home Depot is a top of the line LG for several hundred $ less than $2000 -- LG getting about 5 stars from reviews. Now that Im looking at general reviews about Samsung, everything they make seems to be horrible. How could that be?! We used to buy a ton of Samsung stuff -- not anymore. There are so many little, bad issues with this fridge and I see nearly 1500 complaints (a lot of them from 2015!). All I can say is -- get an LG from Costco or Home Depot -- they seemed to have the best price, haul away fee, etc.

There is lots of room to store food in it. The design of 4 doors with the option of making the third door a fridge rather than freezer space is good for large families. I moved into a new house on Jan 7 2015. The house came with stainless steel appliances (Brand new). I peeled the stickers from the Samsung stove myself... So I know I was the first user. Used it 4 times, smelled a funny smell but the documents said that its OK to have this smell in the first few times, so I didnt pay much attention.Then... short and I had to reset the breaker. Since then the oven wont pre-heat. Call Samsung and they sent out a nice guy that didnt know what to do. He then called Samsung and had been transferred 2 times to speak to 2 different Samsung reps. The 3rd guy asked him to check behind the stove and look for burned wires. My cool tech told him its a brand new stove. Samsung guy asked him to check... Well... bad wiring almost cost me my sons life, my life, my house and everything I have. My tech got an authorization number from Samsung and said that Samsung will call me within 24-48 hours to schedule a pickup and replacement. So... I waited.4 days later I called Samsung, gave them that number and they transferred me to a different department. The lady told me that she cannot help me without a receipt. I told her that I got the stove with the house and its not about a piece of paper. Its about Samsung selling a faulty equipment, a fire hazard in a shape of an oven.No go... Tried to leave a message on their FB page... the guy told me that he is sorry for my inconvenience (its a gas stove, that burned itself and can kill me... they know about it but still selling it... its not an inconvenience, its simply dangerous to let this company sell products!) - but... I need to get him a receipt for him to ask Samsung to take responsibility for its faulty product. Is there any federal commission that can take my oven and investigate it? Maybe cross it with houses that burned? Its like that GM recall... They KNOW about it but wont do a thing until someone will die, even then they maybe try to cover up before taking real action. My advice to you - Stay away from Samsung products! (Cell Phones, Computers, TVs.. anything). Also, Ive seen some other complaints here. Im going to buy a new stove next week. But if theres a class action going on I would like to be a part of it. If theres none, Im interested in filing one and would like to contact other people who had a similar experience. So, please contact me if you can.

We contacted the Samsung customer service number listed on the refrigerator door. 1800-726-7864. After being prompted through a maze of extensions and holding for 20 minutes we were told our refrigerator was no longer under warranty even though it was less than one year. They said they would send out a one time courtesy service call. A week and a half later a third party service company arrived and diagnosed the refrigerator as having 3 defective parts that needed to be replaced. He ordered the parts which took another two weeks. During this time we submitted our purchase receipt to correct the date of purchase and show the refrigerator was still under warranty. The new parts were installed and we thought all was well. Two days later, the refrigerator leaked again. It has been 3 full months now and the refrigerator has leaked water all over the floor 27 times. The Tech Pro Plus company (972-241-6413) Samsung hired to repair their product wont answer their phone and dont have a message leaving option. Samsung wont reissue another work order number to a new service provider because they have already paid Tech Pro Plus even though Samsung cannot get though to Tech Pro Plus either. Numerous efforts have been made to stop the refrigerator from leaking all over the floor. Parts replaced several time$$$. Samsung has no interest in correcting this. Now, the leaking appears to have been corrected (time will tell). The new problem is failure of temperatures to set/hold for both the freezer and the refrigerator! Refrigerator is at 61 degrees! Should be at 38 degrees! Freezer was at 28 and should be at -2. Perform power reset...no change. Samsung has refused to do anything even though it a clearly known issue - just look at the complaints all over the internet! We bought a Samsung range NE595R1ABSR in July 2012 when we were renovating our kitchen. We also bought a Samsung refrigerator and above stove microwave. We arent happy with any of these appliances, but the range is a safety hazard. The first incident happened when we had several guests for dinner. My husband and I were cooking and suddenly I felt an electrical shock and heard a loud noise and the electricity for the whole house went out. The Samsung tech didnt find anything wrong. I was scared to use the stove after that, but started using it again. A few months later I was just warming up something on low heat and when I touched the control knob it gave me a jolt, made a popping noise and the stove shut down completely. My husband had to reset the breaker, but I wont use that burner again or touch that knob. Samsung now says it isnt covered under its manufacturing warranty, but I have an extended warranty with the store of purchase. Although, I think Samsung should be responsible because they knew about it within a few months after I purchased it and they did nothing except tell me it was perfectly safe and nothing was wrong with it. I really dont feel safe with this stove and want my husband to put it in the garage. It also has a problem regulating the heat. I can never adjust it properly to cook food evenly. The burners just ignore the temp control and heat will go up and down erratically. The oven is the worst one Ive ever used. I used to love to cook, but now I really hate it.

Bought my Samsung double doors at Best Buy in Lakeland and at first all was cool. Now my veggie bins arent for veggies, they’re water buckets. I thought problem was just me till I ran across this page. I too contacted Samsung and was told to reset fridge and freezer. Did and nothing - still water flows into the bins. We need to get a class action suit against this company and get Better Business Bureau involved. I was so proud of my fridge but now I just want it gone. Cant Samsung be forced into fixing these fridges as just too many complaints.

We purchased this french-door, two-drawer, refrigerator (Model # RF23M8090SR/AA) in late August, 2017. For the first year it worked flawlessly, then... the ice maker decided to go to hell-in-a-handbasket. As was noted (and perfectly photographed by Linda of Muskogee, OK. on March 15, 2019) ours began to do EXACTLY the same thing. The ice would begin to drop out of the freezer tray, get caught in big clump and freeze before dropping into the bin thereby jamming the bin INTO the compartment for the ice maker and making it impossible to remove without potentially damaging the bin itself.Upon contacting Samsung (today; I finally lost it and set up a service call demanding they fix this POS.), it is alleged that Im still under warranty and my service call is covered. However, after seeing the various reviews for THIS VERY PROBLEM, Im NOT OPTIMISTIC that anything positive will come from the service call. Not to be deterred and, like so many others, having paid good money for my fridge, Im thinking about contacting my State Attorney General and looking into some possible legal action against Samsung. Anyone like to jump on this bandwagon with me? Ive simply had enough and will not buy another refrigerator without compensation from Samsung, first! (And, certainly NOT anything made by Samsung!)

OTR Samsung Microwave model SMH9207ST - I purchased first microwave in 2012
OTR Samsung Microwave model SMH9207ST - I purchased first microwave in 2012 at Lowes and within the first year the plastic latch on the door handle broke off and the door would not close. Fortunately I was able to replace it at the store with same model. So now after a little over 2 years the panel in bottom right side that has the buttons for light and vent started sticking. After spraying with WD40 they started working again. But last night that ended when all of the buttons just pushed completely in behind the panel. So now it looks bad and I cant turn the vent off or use the light buttons. Like many others, I spent more on this model ($450) because of its stylish looks and because I thought I was getting a quality product... not so!

I am writing this letter to inform Samsung and Home Depot of a very real problem that my family and I have with one of your products. We bought a refrigerator on November of 2017 from Home Depot. Very good looking fridge. The sales personnel talked up a very good advertise for it and it was priced very good. Also we were told by Home Depot that it had a 2 year warranty. We didnt think anything about extending a warranty due to the Samsung name being strong in our household. Samsung phones to Tvs and computer monitors. Until March of this year 2019 hit. We noticed the bottom portion where the freezer is starting to ice up. Lots of ice crystals forming all over the food. We thought, well maybe its because we are running the swamp cooler and the humidity is entering the fridge when we open it. Never gave it a thought that less than a year and a half later that something would be wrong with our brand new fridge. Boy were we wrong! A month later, my wife came home and everything in the fridge had melted and spoiled! We checked the temperature on the door display and it displayed the right temperature. Or should I say, the temperature it was supposed to be at. After panicking and trying to salvage whatever food was left by moving it to our garage fridge, we decided to browse the internet for answers. And boy did we find a ton of them with these model types. Apparently this model has an issue which you Samsung will not acknowledge! So after read the instruction of the hundreds of people with the same problem, we reset the fridge and its display came back with the true temperature reading. The fridge is usually set at 0 for freezer and 36 for the fridge. It came back at 57 for the freezer and 71 for the fridge. Big difference after the reset. So obviously now, the fridge kicks back on and starts to cool. So this now happens about once or twice a week. We have to unplug the fridge every 2 to 3 days just to make sure the on board computer gets the right reading and clears the glitch this fridge has. And almost every time we do reset it, the temperature is off by 5 to 10 degrees. We are obviously frustrated. But thats not the worst part. We call Samsung to get someone to repair the fridge because as we were told It has a 2 year warranty and we were told that, No, your model has only 1 year warranty. We were shocked! Not only by that but by when we told Samsung that we were told by Home Depot that it supposedly had a 2 year warranty, that Samsung actually came back with, Oh sorry, we changed it this year. How can you sell an item, tell the customer it comes with 2 year warranty, not only did Home Depot say it, but when you google Samsung refrigerator warranty, it also says 2 years. Then when one breaks, back out of it completely and say Our bad, its one year now. We have 2 kids, we are not rich in any way. We work very hard and try our best to do everything we can for our family. We mustard up the finances to buy this fridge. Not only did we buy the fridge, we also bought a Samsung dishwasher for a matching set. And now we sit here with a fridge we cant use. We lost 300 dollars worth of food and have a $2,000.00 dollar piece of furniture in the kitchen now. After arguing with Samsung for hours which by the way were very rude on the phone, they did us a favor by sending a tech out free of charge to look at it. The guy came out, dusted off the back and cleaned the front grill at the bottom and said theres nothing wrong with it and that there was nothing that he could do. Didnt do any testing on it at all! He actually said its probably our fault for by not monthly cleaning the back of it? Are you serious.? Our Kenmore in the garage has been running for 21 years non stop. And Samsung wants to blame us because there was some dust on the back of the fridge? Wow Samsung, you really know how to stand behind your products. This has set our family back bad financially. We have to use our old fridge in the garage now which is smaller and doesnt accommodate our now growing family, which is the reason we upgraded. Or should I say downgraded. We lost a lot of food. My son has allergies so we have to buy the expensive gluten free food for him. We are still paying on the fridge that you wont repair because of a warranty you lied about. Or that you said changed the next year after our purchase. The ice maker in the fridge is another story. Doesnt work, has to be cleared everyday or it wont make ice. All this in less than 2 years of owning it. I will not let this go. I will write, paste and pass this story anyway I can. This is not right for you to sell a product and walk away from a known problem with these model refrigerators. We cannot afford to buy another one and we cringe at the payment due from Home Depot every month. This is not customer service! This is you ripping a family off from their dreams of having a nice home to raise their kids up in and having the tools to do it with. Thanks for crushing that Samsung and Home Depot. Shawn **

We purchased a 3 door refrigerator from Sears in January 2013. We purchased the 5 year extended warranty. The Sears repairman has been here 4 or 5 times. He replaced the icemaker once. Came back to fix the icemaker, which kept freezing up and leaking onto the dispenser tray. This leak caused our STAINLESS STEEL door to rust. It is still leaking and rusting more. We have talked to Samsung customer reps who told us it was cosmetic and not covered under our warranty. The repairman even told them it was not our fault. But, this did not help our plight. Will not buy anything Samsung ever again. We asked to have them replace our rusty door. Of course this did not happen.

Ive had ongoing issues with the error code 9E since I purchased a Samsung dishwasher 3 years ago. Ive had it serviced 2-3 times per year. I had problems under warranty and under the extended service contract from Lowes. Now I am on my own to continue to struggle with it. I replaced a unit from another manufacturer that was 20 years old that worked better. I am very disappointed and will never purchase another Samsung product. The 9E error code is the water fill tank which can get blocked or dirty. I use dishwashing grease cutting soap occasionally to reduce this problem. But I clean and rinse my dishes with soap and water prior and never put food covered dishes in. This has been a major mistake in purchasing. I intend to replace a less than 5-year-old machine as this error code goes on every other washing.

I purchased a Samsung dishwasher a little over a year ago from Best Buy. Within the year, the dishwasher began having issues. It would stop running and had flashing lights displayed. After terrible customer service and multiple delays, Samsung set me up with a warranty service provider who fixed the issue. Within two months, the same issue is happening. In contacting Samsung, they are advising that since its past the 1 year warranty, there is nothing they can do. Even though its the same issue they already had fixed. Additionally, they offer terrible customer service. I spoke with three different departments (most out of the country) for over an hour in total, only to get no resolution. We purchased this refrigerator because it was a very good looking refrigerator and Samsung usually has good products. First thing we had the problem was the LED light on front of refrigerator stopped working. Next problem we had was so does freezing and other things freezing in the refrigerator. Next problem we had with this refrigerator is refrigerator and freezer both quit working. And after this was fixed the next problem is the refrigerator will not get cold. Keeps going from 60 degrees down to 40 and back up again. The best way we could find to solve the problem was to get rid of this piece of junk.

We moved into a townhouse with Samsung Appliances - stove, refrigerator and microwave. The refrigerator periodically buzzes so loud it is obnoxious for a relatively new but out of warranty refrigerator at 6 years old. (Our 22 year old Kenmore at the family cabin is still as quiet as the morning dawn.) I was told by Samsung help to connect the ice maker and the buzzing noise should go away. I had to hire a plumber to run a water line to the refrigerator and connect it. $500 later, I still had a buzzing refrigerator. I called Samsung and was informed the only thing they could offer was their authorized repair service to come out to our seasonal Minnesota townhome and fix it as it is out of warranty. Unique Services Repair Tech came out and felt like the noise was fan-related and recommended replacing fan. Part needed to be ordered, Tech returned a week later, installed and another $500; today we still have a buzzing refrigerator. Called Samsung and a different Unique Services Tech visited over a week later and said the refrigerator is just noisy and the noise cannot be eliminated. We have spent $1000 and still have a buzzing refrigerator. We should have been told that the Samsung model we have runs loud and it cannot be fixed. We would have bought a new refrigerator. The first Unique Services Tech should have told me our refrigerator model runs loud and we cannot fix it. Instead, we spend $365 for a new fan plus the service call $’s charge for a part not needed. Both Samsung and Unique Services are yet to reply to my bad experience. I suspect both Samsung and Unique Service Repair are better than this. From a Customer Service standpoint, I am disappointed at being blown off by their non response to my communicated concerns.

I purchased a Samsung French Door refrigerator (RF266ABRS/XAA) just a few years ago. It was very expensive. Over the past few years, we have noticed our food has gone bad quickly and the temperature in the refrigerator was not what the computer panel said. About 2 months ago, the entire refrigerator died. Both the freezer and refrigerator died. We called Samsung, who told us to call a local repair company. That was done. When the repair company showed up, they said that in all their years in business, they had never seen such a young refrigerator have all the internal workings die so quickly. Samsung said, to be able to repair under warranty, they needed the original receipt. I did my part and found the receipt. After 10 days time and 3 weeks without a refrigerator, the repair company was able to order the parts from Samsung. The only problem was, Samsung was having technical difficulties and couldnt send out the parts for the refrigerator. We waited another 2 weeks to get the refrigerator parts from Samsung. Once the parts came in, the repair company came out and fixed all the inner parts of the refrigerator. Two weeks later, the entire machine is not working again. There is water on the floor. The entire machine is up to 70 degrees. The repair company is coming back again to see if they can see what is going on this time. I called Samsung. I explained what has been going on and that this machine is so new. They said it isnt under the 1 year warranty and that all repairs are my responsibility. Their customer service was appalling. Clearly, this model, as it has been noted in a class action lawsuit in New Jersey, is a lemon. The coiling system was bad from their creation. Samsung, which makes billions of dollars a year, cannot comprehend the problems caused to consumers who buy a lemon refrigerator and are not willing to accept the consequences to producing a less than quality product. I sit here with a broken fridge once again, no help from Samsung and spoiled food. I wont be purchasing any Samsung products forever! Do not purchase a Samsung refrigerator. No matter what you read on any website. They are NOT quality refrigerators and youll end up like me sitting in your kitchen with spoiled food for the 5th time! My apologies, but I had higher hopes for Samsung.

We strongly feel that Samsung should stick to making cell phones. We bought our refrigerator (as well as a Samsung d/w) from Sears about three years ago and we are already at the point of having to replace the fridge. We are not AT ALL happy about having to cough up the money again after spending $1600 the first time on what turns out to be a piece of junk that has given us nothing but problems. The last repair person who came out to fix it through our home warranty program (because Samsungs warranty expired the week before we had our first major issue with the appliance) said that he worked almost exclusively on Samsungs because they are what the vast majority of his service calls are about. That was eye opening!

The refrigerator is a French door model sold for over 2000.00 dollars purchased at Lowes. Started out Lowes delivered the wrong model, no ice or water in door. They then told me the one I ordered was no longer available so I would have to pay 300.00 more as this one was not on sale. I paid it, was delivered and the doors were put on wrong. Parts were missing. They did send missing parts. Put them in myself. The refrigerator is noisy, there is no fix. Thats The Way They Are. The worst problem is that the tube in the back, behind the back cover, freezes solid, so the water from defrost cannot drain down. So the water fills up the bottom of the fridge and runs on the floor. If you have wood floors make sure you have a pan under it. Samsung has no service in Milwaukee area or nearby cities, then after 2 years offered to cover replacement parts. Problem is I cannot find an authorized service within 50 miles and to come out it would cost 200 plus dollars. Plus they will not tell me what the fix is even though they have this problem with all their refrigerators. Samsung is the worst product I have purchased. And Lowes should not sell appliances. They are no help.

My husband and I purchased a LG French Door Fridge when they first came out
My husband and I purchased a LG French Door Fridge when they first came out. It lasted 3 years, the motherboard died. After much research we purchased a Samsung French Door Fridge model RF266AEWP. As of right now, the noise from the fan in the fridge hitting the accumulated ice is pretty loud. Loud enough that I cannot hear a conversation in the next room. My husband called Samsung in regards to this (after we had defrosted the fridge 4 times since June of 2015) and they said that we would have to have a repair person come in and fix it to the tune of $140.00. Samsung has been aware of this defect since 2005 and has done nothing to rectify the situation. Needless to say I have now joined the thousands of other consumers in a class action lawsuit against Samsung. Now onto the Samsung stove we purchased. We purchased a Samsung stove, had it installed. I did the self-clean cycle on the stove one night and opened it to wipe out the soot that was inside and noticed that on the bottom panel of the stove, the paint had melted. My husband called Samsung and was told to shut the stove off and shut the gas off to it as there was a defect and the house could blow up. HMMMMMM just a little scary. We called Best Buy (where we had purchased the stove) and they were very gracious with us. They told us to come in and pick out another stove. We picked out the 5-burner stove with the large capacity oven and a warming drawer. It was originally $2500 when we first saw it but was on sale for $1500. I guess we should have seen the red flag when the price was reduced by $1000. But we bought that one to replace the defective Samsung stove. Well about 8 months ago we kept getting an error of E08. I googled the error and Samsung advised you to shut off the circuit breaker or unplug the stove. So now every time we get the error, I have to pull the stove out from the wall and unplug the stove. Needless to say, in the future we will NOT be purchasing any more Samsung products. I cannot understand why they are rated so high.

I purchased a Samsung Conventional Oven from Best Buy in August 2011. The stove worked great until now. I was preheating the oven to bake lasagna and could smell burning plastic. I looked in the oven to make sure there was nothing burning inside and there was nothing. As I closed the door and stepped back, sparks started shooting out of the stove top and smoke was everywhere. I had my two month old son and my three dogs with me in the kitchen. Luckily none of them were injured. The ash from the blowout was all over my kitchen. The breaker blew (thank god) and I immediately unplugged the stove. I could not see an obvious signs of a problem until I really looked at the back of the stove. Where the plug is connected was covered in black ash. I removed the panel to find that the area where the plug connects was completely melted.I have had this stove for almost four years now. THIS SHOULD NOT HAVE HAPPENED!! Im still scared to death that this could have caused a house fire or an injury to my son, myself or my dogs. I will be contacting Samsung to see what can be done. Simply DO NOT BUY IT! The SAMSUNG dishwasher DW80F600UTB is by far the worst purchase that everyone shall avoid. Acquired one unit in Aug 31, 2013 at Future Shop Calgary, Canada. The machine was delivered on Sept 6, 2013. It worked marginally well up to Nov 3, 2013 (not even 2 months of use). On this fatidic day, the machine started leaving food residue and unfinished, not washed glasses, and from this point and on, my WORST CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE EVER! In a nutshell, I spent hours and hours on the phone with SAMSUNG (UN)SUPPORT Services(?). They sent me one local (not SAMSUNG) technician that pinpointed several problems (from the Pump up to Water Pressure). After 7 (SEVEN) visits and lots of parts replacement, the technician finally agreed that the machine was NO GOOD! Note: SAMSUNG will only replace your dishwater if their technician agrees that the machine is NO GOOD. In July 2014, I received the NEW UNIT from SAMSUNG but need to pay freight and installation again. The new unit worked marginally well up to February 2015.At this point I decided to wash the same batch of dishes at least 3 and 4 times, and tomorrow (Dec 28, 2015) I will buy a REAL DISHWASHER! This DW80F600UTB has serious design issues not recognized by SAMSUNG. On this regard, I would like to join BORIS of Calgary to enter in a fully documented and water-tight lawsuit against SAMSUNG. SAMSUNG must understand that we, customers, are not idiots nor money grow on trees to be spent in such a JUNK equipment.

I purchased side-by-side model #RS263TDWP/XAA01 in July of 2013 for $1379 from Sears. We have been quite happy with it until recently when the upper shelves were not getting cold (70 degree temp reading; the bottom at 46-55 degrees). There was some recent unusual noises in the fridge prior but subsided; phone tech suggested leveling but it is level. The doors close and are aligned properly. That was not the problem.Tech was sent to service the refrigerator and after electronically testing the unit announced it was the defrost sensor that was out (DA32-00006W). Obviously we had to replace- BUT NOT COVERED!!! The 5 year warranty is on the sealed refrigeration unit only not including the electronics needed to operate. REALLY!!?? Samsung is an electronic based company and this happens? After 1.5 years, an electronic part goes out and I have to pay for this $28 part and $220 labor!!? And to make matters worse, the tech advised this part will last longer than the original one that was installed planned obsolescence?! How long is this part going to last? I have a 20 year old Kenmore that has never had a service call!I have purchased smaller Samsung electronics with no issues but really am concerned about this appliance and any other major appliance that I will be in the market for in the future. After 3 emails explaining this situation, I recd a Thank You and Hope we helped...no help only offers of future advertisements. I bought a beautiful Samsung refrigerator in July. It has water/ice on the door and a second climate drawer. Laid out perfectly - plenty of storage. In August, we noticed it was leaking water under the filter so we replaced the filter and it didnt improve. We turned off the water to the fridge and the leak continued. We called a repairman, through Samsung, and waited a couple of days for him to come. He diagnosed a broken valve and had to order a replacement part that he thought would take 8-10 days. When I hadnt heard back in 3 weeks, I called the repair company and they said the part was back ordered. They suggested I contact Samsung to get an estimated delivery time. Thus began 6 weeks of me contacting Samsung, spending hours on the phone, asking the same question, repeating the same story to every person I spoke with. Finally, I could stand it no longer and begged to be escalated. I finally found out there was no estimated time - no one knew if this part would ever be available. In the meantime, I have to daily mop up the water that comes out and floods under the produce bins; the second drawer is not usable because the water fills it and freezes. It ruins any food packaging. The water also spills out the drawers onto the floors and my hardwood floors are now damaged. I was escalated to Jaz. What a disappointment. She ignored my calls for days and only finally tried to speak with me when I hit 0 from her voice mail and begged another rep to help me. This lady definitely needs additional training in handling angry customers. She ultimately offered to swap the fridge, a frustrating process because we have a small opening and in your newer model of this fridge, youve added side vents that arent included in the specs and wont fit the opening. We finally came to a solution on October 31 and she 100% guaranteed that the new fridge would arrive on November 14 at the latest. On November 17th, I called at the end of the day to say I still hadnt received the fridge, not that I was surprised at this point. She committed to getting back to me once she found out where it was. She left me a message at noon the following day to say that the fridge was with a local delivery company and she would call back when she had a time estimate. I called again today, November 19, and left another message. Its been almost 3 months since I could use my fridge properly. I still have to mop up the leaking water and theres a whole section of the fridge I cant even put food in, not to mention no ice or water. She did offer me $150 as repayment for food spoilage, but I have not seen hide nor hair of that either. This is the WORST experience Ive ever had with an electronics manufacturer and I still have no idea when it will be resolved.

I purchased a Samsung dishwasher and 2 weeks out of warranty it failed and will not drain. I was told that they are sorry, but because it was purchased 1 year and 2 weeks before the failure, I will have to pay for all repairs. They said that they referred it to a company to have it repaired, but after a week had gone by and making multiple calls, I discovered they provided the repair company with the wrong phone number and email address for me. When I mentioned that I saw online that many people are having the same problem and that the dishwasher is built faulty, they told me that they appreciated my researching the issue, but it is out of warranty and basically, too bad.

Purchased new Samsung refrigerator only 3yrs. old, 1) Ice maker not working. 2) Changed water filter cartridge and water is leaking inside the tray. Called their tech. support. Told me to reset inside button for icemaker, No luck. Tried 5 times and check the temp. inside area, all good but still not making ice. 3) Several times inserted new water filter cartridge, still water is leaking. Called Tech. Told me I need to replace defrost sensor, icemaker heat probe for drain, total: cost $320 to fix. DO NOT BUY THIS MODEL: RFG297HDRS/XAA. I will never buy Samsung product, GE is excellent experience I had. Lasted for 17 yrs. no problem and was working condition. Now this Samsung is not good, spend $1800+tax from LOWES.

Im extremely satisfied and always get compliments on my Samsung refrigerator. Love that it has Wi-Fi on it and I can save recipes I like. Plenty of room in freezer and refrigerator. Stainless steel color just brightens up the entire kitchen.

We bought a Samsung Appliance package in September 2014. I have not been happy with any of the appliances. You must wash the dishes before loading them into the dishwasher, or the food will still be on them after a heavy load cycle. I do love that dishwasher is super quiet, which is the reason I was attracted to it. My Range makes a rattle noise when the fan kicks on, and I do not believe it cooks as well as my previous unit. My microwave sensors are WAY off, and we have tried to fix, but again, either the popcorn burns or pops 3 kernels. It too rattles. These are all issues I can deal with.My biggest issue is the refrigerator. We are currently on our FOURTH unit. The first unit would only cool to 42 degrees. The second unit wouldnt even power up when they brought it out. The third unit the doors would not close completely even though they worked and tried to adjust. Installers said the brackets were not aligned correctly. So, I finally after months of hassle get a new one. Whew... Or so I thought. I have had 5 service appointments to fix the same issues on this unit and am still having issues. When I contacted Samsung today, I was told they were sorry, but it was out of warranty. Even though the issues are documented. We escalated and were told they would do us a one time favor to have another technician come out. Im not sure why. It is clearly a design flaw. My ice is slush, I always get about a 1/8 cup of water first before hitting the ice button due to the melted ice. The ice drips to the bottom of the panel and then freezes like a rock jamming the ice maker. I am told that it is due to putting groceries in my refrigerator (someone PLEASE tell me this is NOT the answer I got!) What are you supposed to do with a refrigerator if you cannot put groceries in it!?I was also told that the low ice production was not due to melting (mind you I have puddles of water) but due to overuse. We have 2 adults and 2 kids and use a very minimal amount of ice. If it cannot keep up with our demands, it should not even be an option! I use the power freeze and power cool button when we stock the fridge to keep it from warming down too much, as the last technician recommended, but this isnt the answer either. Id love to have my $3K+ back and go back to my ugly, but extremely useful old appliances! The pages of reviews tell me this is a lemon, but Samsung refuses to do anything about it!

We bought our counter depth refrigerator in May of 2015. After six months the ice maker stopped working. We had a Samsung service person come out to fix it. He informed us that he had numerous calls about this type of ice maker and it is one of the worse design he has seen. I have tried contacting Samsung many times about this ice maker for this model and never heard anything back. I wrote several more times and received nothing back. Now with all their phone issues I tried again and of course got a blah blah blah letter that was completely useless. I wrote back stating that Ive done everything on their list. This letter wants me to use their Samsung people to have it serviced. Ive already purchased Geek Squad from Best Buy extended warranty. Now the ice maker has completely stopped working. Also if anyone has suggestions on what to do about this issue please respond. If anyone is having similar problems could you please write about it here. I would like to get a list going so that as a group we may get something done to help all of us. Also if considering a Samsung appliance do not buy!!!
