Brand new out of the box--got the SE failure. Sadly we had purchased it to install in a new house build that was delayed so we were a few months out of warranty when our builder installed it. Samsung knowing about the SE error refused any return or free repair even when we could provided proof that the microwave had just been installed. WE Will NEVER BUY ANOTHER SAMSUNG APPLIANCE. Very short sighted of Samsung to not stand behind their appliances.

I had a new Samsung refrigerator RF220NCTASR delivered July 2, 2014 and it hasnt worked properly from day one. I contacted Home Depot, where I bought it and they advised me I had to deal with Samsung directly. Despite two of Samsungs technician calls and numerous discussions with their Executive Customer Relations (ECR), there is still no resolution today! The refrigerator portion will not get any colder than about 45 deg. F despite the refrigerator being set as cold as it can be (seven blue lights). I have gone as high in their ECR as I can (according to them), with only apologies and broken promises to show. I faxed a letter to Samsung Canadas President on December 1, 2014 but have had no response. Samsung certainly doesnt appear to be capable or willing to resolve this basic warranty issue in a timely fashion.

Undependable. I am beyond angry, I just lost over $200 in food because this stupid fridge just stopped working while I was away, all because the filter change indicator was on!? They have designed the fridge to indicate that the water filter needs to be changed every 6 months like clockwork, the indicator light does not actually tell you if its dirty it just happens at 6 months. So when this indicator light is on, the fridge and freezer wont work. So mark your calendars and try to track when its going to happen or youll lose all your food too.

Doesnt even deserve ONE star!!! GARBAGE!!! I dont know how Samsung has not had a class action case filed against them after reading HUNDREDS of complaints about their dishwashers. Every reviewer has the same complaint about various models, UNBEARABLE, DISGUSTING ODOR!!... And SAMSUNG customer service does nothing!!! Oh, wait, they do offer suggestions on how to CLEAN their dishwashers with TANG!!! Yes, *** clean the disgusting odor in the brand new dishwasher with an orange flavored drink mix!!! *** WHAT??? The odor is unbearable and dishes are cleaner when I put them in the dishwasher than they are when I take them out!!! Shame on Samsung for this disgraceful product and lack of concern for their trusting consumers. They should have stuck to making televisions!!! NEVER make the mistake of purchasing a Samsung dishwasher.

We a little over a year ago purchased a house full of Samsung appliances starting with washer and dryer, liking both the look and the way they worked. When we were ready to redo the kitchen we decided to purchase fridge, stove, dishwasher and microwave all Samsung. The fridge shortly after installed developed water stain in the screen of water dispenser, however since we were 1 day past the original purchase date the warranty was up and Samsung would not help us, and also said a water stain would be considered cosmetic, however now we smelled something burning and now you can see burn area around water spot in water dispenser screen. Not please with Samsung service after spending so much with a house full of Samsung appliances.

I purchased a kitchen suite at ABT less than a year ago. Refrigerator, dishwasher, stove, microwave. Every one of these appliances are garbage! The refrigerator door shelves cracked and fell to the floor in less than two weeks. The refrigerator makes intermittent LOUD noises like a grinding sound. Water pools at every bin and the worst of all is the layout is impossible to not knock everything over trying to retrieve a single item. The dishwasher stinks...LITERALLY! It always smells awful. It doesnt clean dishes well at all and leaves chunks of residue after several cycles of cleaning the same load. The repairman said Well, just leave the door open and it wont smell so bad! Really? The oven is constantly setting off our carbon monoxide detector and recently, I thought there was moisture built up on the oven door and when I tried to open it to wipe the glass front it exploded in a thousand fragments of glass everywhere! This company should be held accountable before someone dies...

I bought all my appliances at PC Richard when I purchased my house in 2014.
I bought all my appliances at PC Richard when I purchased my house in 2014. The salesman recommended Samsung. Told me they were the best on the market. I purchased washer, dryer, stove and refrigerator all top of the line Samsung appliances. My dryer had to be repaired 3 times. Finally I replaced it with a Whirlpool. My refrigerator was fixed on 1/10/18, 6/22/18, twice in July and again 9/4/18 when the PC Richard repairman video chatted with a Samsung representative. Again new parts were ordered. Refigerator was repaired 9/14/18. Today 9/21/18 my refrigerator is again not working. I called PC Richard and was told refrigerator cannot be exchanged unless authorized by Samsung and since its a Friday that will not happen until next week if at all; meanwhile I should make another service appointment. I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER SAMSUNG PRODUCT AGAIN. I am disgusted and extremely frustrated.

We purchased a self cleaning, Samsung stove April 11, 2018 from Trail Appliances in Red Deer, Ab. I have used the self cleaning mode 3 times, & 3 times the C-31 displays after using it & the display panel will not work. The 1st time, I was without an oven for 15 days, the 2nd time, 9 days & am waiting again, for it to be fixed. I was told by 2 people at Trail Appliances, & Brian, from Samsung, to just not use the self cleaning feature. In my opinion, that is like buying a new car, & them telling you to not use the headlights! The salesman certainly did not warn us that all of the brand names who have the self cleaning feature, had issues. Their solution was, that whenever I use the self clean mode, to pull the oven away from the wall 6 & turn the fan on full blast for the duration of the cycle! Even the repairman said that they are a problem. Samsung said they will just keep fixing it until my warranty runs out because there is no problem, & he was very rude to me as he kept raising his voice & was yelling at me. Brian ** from Samsung. My warranty runs out in April, & I am SOL, so dont buy from Samsung!

Have had my $3000 Samsung Refrig for just over 5 years. Similar results as everyone else here... the fridge began acting up approx. 6 mos. ago... since then have had 6 service calls to fix. Seems after replacing the ENTIRE back inside panel for $200, fridge is working, but now freezer is not. Cannot even begin to explain how FRUSTRATING AND EXACERBATING this experience has been. Made numerous calls and emails to Samsung, even got bounced up to their VIP Customer Service (for those of us who have had POOR service issues) and they do NOTHING!!! Since is out of warranty, were on our own! I own many Samsung products including washer/dryer, cell phones, TVs, and now will begin buying other brands as I get rid of every Samsung product in my home. There are OBVIOUSLY design defects/flaws in their refrigerator designs (as the serviceman told me also!) and they know it. They keep coming out with these fixes for things... of course, which are NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY. So we have to continue to pay for these. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED AND FRUSTRATED WITH SAMSUNG IN GENERAL. HOPEFULLY THEY WILL GET WHAT IS COMING TO THEM. I DONT EVEN WISH TO GIVE THEM ONE STAR... THEYRE NOT WORTH IT!!

Don’t spend your money on the so called Smart refrigerator! The refrigerator itself sucks! Ice maker has never worked right, water leaks from water dispenser! You can’t open but the right door first or the ice maker will freeze! I guess they put all the work into the screen (which is no good without Samsung devices) and forgot about having a good working refrigerator. 5k down the drain!

Samsung Refrigerator problems model RF217ACPN. For the last several months my produce bins have been accumulating water and then water below the bins freezes into a sheet of ice. I tried to contact Samsung and they said perhaps I spilled something. I told them that the problem was repetitive and that I did not store water in the refrigerator. They wanted to send out a technician but I asked them to give me some troubleshooting ideas first. They said they didnt have any because they havent had complaints about this. When I log into this site I see that I am not alone in this problem.

When you spend over $3,000.00 on a top of the line refrigerator, you have certain expectations. We bought a Samsung French Door Refrigerator about a year ago. Model RF31FMESBBSR/AA. Do not waste your money on this refrigerator. I spent two days searching and comparing. I wish I had instead spent 2 minutes on this site. Ice Master is what they call the ice maker. It is a piece of crap. Small cubes that dispense out painfully slow. After about 6 months, the ice compartment started getting cracks in it. Now, ice maker freezes and stops working about every other week. I have to melt the ice with a hair dryer to get it going again. Also - door bins started breaking after 3 months. All but one are now broken. They tried to make these pretty, instead of functional. 3 pieces - plexiglass, plastic, and a metal band that holds the plexiglass in place. Once the cheap/thin plexi cracks and breaks, the band falls off. Warranty procedure is an absolute joke. Stay away from Samsung. It looks way better than it works.

I purchased a (expensive) Samsung Fridge at Home Depot and after 1 month of having the fridge there are small rust spots all over the front of the fridge. When I called Samsung support they said its a cosmetic issue and not covered under the warranty. They said it could be caused by prolonged exposure to moisture (Ive had it for a month) or an abrasive cleaner was possibly used. The only cleaner that has been used was warm water and dish soap one time and a mixture of vinegar and water one time. Samsung refuses to stand by their product and Home Depot says the issue needs to be handled with Samsung.

I am finding all Samsung products are crappy made. I bought a fridge little over yr ago and ice maker stopped working within 2 months. Had tech I paid for come out look at it, claimed fixed problems. Month later ice maker froze up, stopped working. Called Samsung, they send a tech which they want me to pay for while under warranty. They act like they were doing me a favor by paying for it. 2 weeks later it has stopped again, whole unit frozen solid. I called and yet again they will not paid to have it looked at. Why should I pay another 2-3 hundred dollars on top of over $2000 spent to buy it. Reading all the reviews on here. Action should be taken against Samsung to make the products work as intended just like auto makers do recall their junk and make them fix the problems.

In July 2016, I purchased a Samsung bundle which consisted of a refrigerator Model #RF28HMEDBBC, stove #NX58K3310SB/AA, microwave #ME16K3000AB & dishwasher #DW80J3020UB from Best Buy. I am totally happy with the services that I have received from Best Buy & the Geek Squad, however, I am so dissatisfied with the Samsung appliances. In 7/2018, the ice maker went out (Samsung provides no services!!!). I was told that the ice maker was not properly sealed & the Geek Squad replaced the ice maker. Then 10/2018, brown rust started to form on the bottom corners of the water shoot. The Geek Squad had to replace the entire door. 12/2018, the trim at the base of the oven door (which was glued on) came apart & the Geek Squad had to come back out & reattach it. And now, 12/18/18, as I was cooking dinner & steam was coming from the pot with vegetables (which is a normal thing) in it on the back burn, the stove’s back (oven, timer, & clock is located) started to discolor (my appliances are black!!). So now I have this spot on my stove. I was going to purchase the black Samsung washer & dryer, but after what I’ve experience with the kitchen appliances, there’s no way under the sun I’m going to purchase their washer & dryer. So dissatisfied with my Samsung appliances!

We purchased this Samsung Refrigerator at Sears. It was one of the more expensive refrigerators in the store. We paid about $2500. Its junk from day one. Noisy. And the ice maker clogs and jams. And ice forms on the back and gets so noisy we cant stay in the same room as the machine. And when the Sears repair people come to fix it all they can say is that they are not very good machines, and they dont make them liked they used to. The junk will be off the warranty soon. I think its criminal that they dont recall the machine. Samsung stole $2500 from us and cost of many hours of not being able to use our house and having to stay home for the doctor to come, only to say its a chronic & terminal condition. I have nothing good to say about Samsung.

The unit was manufactured (read, assembled, as the compressor is made in Korea) in Mexico on Jan 2010. We purchased in March 2010 - over the course of these 4 years, weve had several times when the unit stopped cooling. This last time it has stopped all together. Repairman came to look and told me the compressor isnt working. I asked how much to fix and he said good luck finding someone to do the work as the copper has to be cut, the refrigerant has to be captured, new compressor installed, new solder onto the coils and recharge the coolant. At a minimum he said wed be looking at $400 in labor alone and the new compressor costs $250. Oh and thats only a guess because the problem could be within the electrical system but he (the repairman) couldnt test the computers that control the unit. The thing that totally gets me, as others here have posted, is that older units (which ours is out in the garage and still working like a champ even though for the past five years its survived sub zero winters while still running) is that the new unit is already failing, the cost for repair we might as well buy a new unit and that the manufacturer only has a 12-month warranty - complete crap. I used the online tool to get a repair referral from off of Samsungs website - no call back, no email, nothing. I called and left voice mail to the same, referred to repair shop and still no call back.

I have to constantly rewash the dishes because they dont come clean. I have to towel dry the dishes because the machine doesnt dry like it should. I have had the water pump replaced. I have had numerous service calls to my house and thank God I had extended warranty. I didnt have to pay for it, but Im still pissed with the warranty because they took me through hell and back before they finally ruled it unfixable - and agreed to give my money back. Our town experienced a power outage which cause our 10-month-old Samsung Refrigerator electrical/digital problems - freezer/fridge temperature indicator pad reading 88/88. This also controls ice and water so those are out also. Fortunately the freezer and refrigerator as still cooling, but I have no idea if this is to the correct temperature. Samsung 1st year warranty service is so far a joke. I called Samsung and they gave me the number of the warranty service contact for my area said they would call them and tell them it was urgent. Samsung gave an old number for Service Click and I tracked them down. They were to call in two or three days (thankfully the food is still cold). This is the fourth day so I called them. I was put on hold for 30 minutes, then got a message to leave my number and the nature of the problem and they would call back. This service is 350 miles away in Southern California. We purchased a Samsung refrigerator two years ago. French doors with a lower freezer drawer and a refrigerator drawer. A week ago, the refrigerator door handle became dislodged with no way to reattach it. We had to call a service rep to fix. Only he cannot. The screws that bolt unto the draw and handle are unique to the Samsung product. Using a standard bolt that is longer wont work. Somehow the threads within the draw have dropped back into the draw itself and there is no way to attach the handles. So, we now have to purchase a whole new draw for nearly $500 including servicing. Two years ago I purchased a Samsung refrigerator (model #RS267TDRS). About a year after we bought it, we started to have problems with it NOT COOLING. Well needless to say, today it officially BROKE and all of our food has SPOILED. I immediately contacted Samsung and I spoke with Tiffany ** (operator #**) and Shonda ** (operator #**) of their customer service department. She told me that there is nothing that she can do to replace the refrigerator because it is out of warranty. After pleading with her that I have three small children under the age of five who need to have access to milk, juice and medication that requires refrigeration, she told me that she would schedule a service call (ticket #**). The problem is that I live in a rural part of Virginia. They wont be able to come to look at the refrigerator for a few weeks, let alone fix it on the spot or that it would be covered since it probably would be something that is not under their warranties. I need help! I cannot wait this long to get it looked at! I have already lost $500 worth of groceries and if I replace it with new food, we dont have a way to store that food. Please if someone at Samsung is reading this, take action to HELP ME. I am writing this post in hopes that someone at Samsung will see this and be able to get me a real resolution to this problem because I dont know what to do (maybe exchange for another used model or even a new one?). I currently work for the Marine Corps and we cant afford to buy another $1,500 refrigerator, especially since this one was purchased brand new 24 months ago from Lowes. I dont like dropping the we are a military family moniker, but the fact is I am a veteran who needs help. Again Samsung, please help! I am desperate since as a veteran, we dont make the type of money that most other families do. Not that any American family makes enough money to keep replacing refrigerators every two years. To be fair, I will update everyone if there is an amicable resolution to this issue.

Purchased the Samsung NX58F5300ss/AA Gas Range in December of 2013 from Best Buy. About two days ago my wife was going to cook breakfast but noticed the display panel was blinking and displaying the letters SE. I called Samsung Customer Service, explained the problem to them. They told to reset the circuit breaker in the house panel box and that would fix the problem. Needless to say, that didnt fix the problem. I called Samsung again, told them their fix did nothing. Samsung offered to setup an appointment for a service call but would not tell me what the service call would cost nor would they give me any information as to the probable problem could be.Based on other reviews, this error code of SE is a known problem but Samsung has not been helpful at all in trying to help me resolve the problem. Also based on other reviews I agree that it would be cheaper to buy a new range rather than calling a Samsung repairman.

Samsung needs to make appliances that will last you longer than three years. This is an absolute shame that you can sell your appliances to people and within three years they break down. Samsung needs to stand behind their products and make better products. I will NEVER recommend a Samsung again or buy another one of their products.

Stainless Steel French Doors w/ Bottom Storage and Ice Maker - We moved into our home 2 years ago (June 2016) and we were very happy that the stainless steel appliances came with the house. Shortly after the Ice Maker stopped making ice; we also did a YouTube video on how to reset the Ice Maker. To make a long story short, after two other repairs costing over $500, and purchasing a new ice maker, the same problem with the ice maker has happened. Oh I didnt mention all the loud rumbling noises every time you used the water dispenser.Today, June 7, 2018, after a week of no ice, and scheduling a repairman to come out (diagnostic fee of $100 non-refundable, nor applied to cost of repairs), the repairman cancelled after finding out it was a Samsung with Ice Maker problems. He informed us of the lawsuits. We called Samsung to no avail. We have to use their contracted repairman who does not work for Samsung. Very dissatisfied at this time.

I purchased my Samsung SM 26CF 4D refrigerator in July of 2014 for almost $1000. Now neither the refrigerator nor the freezer are working. In addition, it is kept at a residence I rent out but only had my first renter of the season in May. When he got there the entire contents were rotten and even after a cleaning, the interior smells horrible. I have called Samsung 3 different times only to be told each time someone will respond per their policy within 48 hours. That was 3 weeks ago. They also said they would escalate it to their executive team and they would call back within 48 hours. This means nothing as I last heard from them 6 days ago when I called them. To get me off track the rep said I needed my receipt, which I have had since the first time I called. He then said These things take time. Their customer services is horrible and they look for reasons not to fulfill their responsibilities. Please do not buy a Samsung appliance from them.

We bought the Samsung french door with lower pull out door freezer. We had trouble from the beginning getting it to maintain the correct temperature in the freezer portion of the refrigerator. We purchased the appliance through Home Depot and they sent the approved tech who replaced the digital sensors and panels. Still, the refrigerator did not get down to nor maintain the required temp.We had the repairman out again; they replace more items. We removed the ice maker altogether and no difference ensued. My husband went back to Home Depot yesterday asking that they replace this fairly expensive appliance and we were told that since the warranty had run out that they would not be replacing it. What does this mean? If we had not bought the warranty and just had them out over and over would it have forced a replacement? These digital display and sensor units are just not engineered well! We will not ever buy another and are thinking of looking for older refrigerators at vintage repair places. Apparently the idea is to get us used to expecting **, buying warranties and subsidizing the industry! !

Samsung French Door Refrigerator - I would never purchase a Samsung fridge again as long as I live. I bought it in 2013 and so far... The ice maker has crapped out, the refrigerator defroster heater freezes up all the time and I have to thaw it out at least once a month and to ice the cake... The paint is peeling off the door handles. I know there is a class action lawsuit against Samsung and all the reviews say customer service is useless. I can certainly vouch for that!!! What does $1,800 get you from them? A boat anchor.

Yeah like l did it. Haha. Dont purchase these expensive products. They are garbage and dont stand behind defective products. No wonder our landfills are full. Its due to companies like this who make products that dont last. I remember having appliances for over 25 years and only got rid of them because the color went out. And they didnt get dumped because they still worked and were passed onto the needy.

I have had some of the same bad experiences with Samsung products, so I decided to share my experience to help those facing the same problems as me. I have owned the top of the line dmt800RHS dishwasher for less than two years. Initially the only issue was that the dishes would not get clean enough, so I spoke to the Lowes sales person who told me to make sure the water was hot at the sink before I start my washer. Even though there is a heating element in the machine, this did seem to help. Then, we started to smell what a lot of you are complaining about. Finally, the last straw was this latest issue with the machine filling with water but not starting the wash cycle. It also drains okay. I took the washer outside and removed everything inside it. Dont worry, its not rocket science, you can do it too. Just take your time. What I found was a piece of calcium stuck between the impeller and deflector. The calcium had hardened on the heating elements. I had to remove trapped food from inside the screen. I believe that is where the smell is coming from. I laid the machine on its back and removed the white plastic cover on the bottom that has two screws. Use a flat tip screw driver to release the tabs. Once inside, use a pair of pliers to pinch and slide the clamp back to remove the black hose at about the middle of the washer bottom. Stand it upright and blast the interior with your garden hose. If you live with hard water and your heating coil is covered with calcium put the hose back on and in the upright position submerge the coil in a CLR/water mixture. It might be a good idea to use a dishwasher cleaner monthly to keep the odor and calcium down. I hope I helped someone.

Do not buy this Samsung Refrigerator French Doors Model RFG237. I have had it for 4 years and have defrosted it 6 times. What happens is I get water/ice build-up under the crisper drawer. When I took the back inside panel off where the heating coil is there is a ton of ice build up. Apparently the drain clip is a piece of junk and doesnt even go in the drain hole. When doing some research online it seems like a lot of people have this problem and it should of been recalled.

Fridge - weve had problems from the start. Samsung has sent local technicians to fix it 5-6 times now, including the main computer board and the compressor (twice). The last time the tech came, he said he doesnt know what else to do, and recommends it be replaced. Samsung has denied this and says it is repairable. So we are stuck between Samsung saying its fixable and the tech saying he doesnt know what to do. THIS IS HOW WARRANTIES WORK???I have been patient for six months trying to deal with this, but Im done. I am telling everyone I know to never buy a Samsung appliance ever again. Oh, and last week our dishwasher broke. We bought it just under a year ago, but they dont even read emails. I clearly explained that 06-10-2014 meant OCTOBER 6th, and NOT June 10. But they didnt even read the email I sent with the receipt and simply denied the claim, so now Im having to deal with that. Every single miscommunication costs a week in terms of getting repairs done in a timely fashion. Oh, and if Samsung EVER tells you they will call you back in 24 hours, DO NOT believe it. They have told us that 5-7 times during these processes and never once did they do so.

About one year after I purchased my Samsung dishwasher (DMT800RHS), we began getting error messages and problems with dishes. We had a Samsung authorized tech come out at $250 expense to ourselves and he found a bunch of plastic pieces the color of the racks in the pump impeller. Nearly 6 months later, we had the same issue and had a local tech come out. For another $75, he retrieved the same rack colored pieces of plastic out of the pump. Tonight, we had a third tech come out and retrieve more rack pieces out of the pump. I have attached photos of the rack adjuster, where every plastic attachment is broken on both sides. These have broken during operation. I hope this review helps someone choose carefully when purchasing a dishwasher, and avoid the headache that we have been dealing with.

I bought the refrigerator from Lowes 5/5/09. Lowes delivered six units before finding one with properly spaced doors. The first indication that I might have purchased a defective product became evident when the ice maker malfunctioned. There was a weekly ice jam inside the compartment. If it wasnt cleared, the ice was no longer dispensed. When kept empty the ice maker worked, dumping ice into the door with sound that could only be likened to that heard at a bowling alley. It would cause me to jump out of bed during the night.Soon after the jams appeared, I began to find pieces of white plastic in drinks when the ice dispenser was used. Over a year ago I began to see rust coming through the finish around the water/ice dispenser. I notified Samsung early on when the ice maker was jamming up and was told I needed to schedule an appointment for service. Well, forget that! There is no one who services Samsung where I live. Yes, there is a dealer in a nearby town, but they refused to service what they didnt sell!I was fed up with this unsightly appliance and decided to post my problem on Samsung Appliance USA Facebook page. I received the typical Samsung condescending response, You need to schedule a service call. Read my lips Samsung, there is no service. Ill get rid of this one and try another. I dont recommend buying anything from Samsung just because of the attitude regarding SERVICE! They will not stand behind their product. Electric Range was purchased at Lowes on 10/05/2012. It has always been properly maintained and kept clean. We are seniors and actually do not cook a lot. We noticed when baking items were not cooking properly. We checked to the temperature of the oven. It would heat up to the set temperature and then drop down about 150 degrees. It should say the set temperature but registered lower. We called a very reputable appliance repair company. He diagnosed the lower heating element was bad. Once he got into the area of the element he gasped... He said in 43 years he has never seen an element fuse to the metal sheet. He determined it was not repairable and could possibly be a fire hazard. We purchased a Samsung Washer (repaired 3x) a gas dryer (4x), Dish washer (5x) and now an electric range that is not repairable. Should an electric range last more than 6 1/2 years? Needless to say we went out last night and purchased a new range. It was not a Samsung.

My husband & I have always been happy with Samsung appliances and phones. Our experience with this dishwasher (DW80H993) has been a nightmare! We purchased a Samsung dishwasher at Conns (do NOT shop there!!) and it began to leak within 36 hours. Conns wouldnt replace it because it was more than 24 hours after we purchased it. REALLY? Home Depot & Lowes would have replaced it in a heartbeat. Conns told us to use the Samsung warranty. A&E has been out EIGHT times now and they wont tell Samsung the dishwasher is un-repairable. They keep ordering parts (two parts they ordered TWICE!) and they cant even get the DW to turn on. We purchased the DW mid-January and they tried to fix the leak once. By mid-March, the DW wouldnt even turn on. A&E was at our house AGAIN today and again they wouldnt tell Samsung that the dw wasnt repairable. We have not had a working DW for TWO months now! My husband has told Samsung that he thinks A&E is just stringing them along. Samsung has spent more money on parts and labor than if they just replaced the DW. I deal in Customer Service every day at work. I dont appreciate when people lose their tempers with me. Most things can be taken care of… and you get more with honey than vinegar. So my husband & I have been very patient but that has worn off. We have a $700 ornament in our kitchen. We saved & planned for this DW!!! My husband & I both work long hours and love having our family over on a regular basis. The last thing we want to be doing are a bunch of dishes in the sink. I never feel like the kitchen is clean because there are either dishes in the sink or dishes drying on the counter. Come on Samsung! The DW is not repairable! This has gone on long enough!!

If a 0 was available for rating I would rate Samsung with a 0... Never again will they have my business. I purchased my Range glasstop NE59J3420SS at Home Depot on April 2016. Not even a week I was cooking and heard a loud pop noise and removed my pot and saw that the glass was cracked. I immediately called Samsung and the conversation started nicely and was under the impression that they would fix it since the agent told me they would. I send pictures of the damage and of receipt of purchase. They told me they would call me... Never received a call from them. So I called a week later to see what was going on and they had closed my case because no pictures were received they said, which is bs. New agent created a new case number and had to resent everything. She said I had to wait for 3 days and they would call me with an appt sent up for a technician to come and look at it. Again never received a call so called them... They gave me the appt for the technician to come and thought he was gonna fix it. Instead he left with no answers to my questions so called Samsung back and they kept saying they would fix it. Waited and waited and waited and nothing from them. Called again to see what was going on and said again they would send a new technician to look at it. Dont know why. They already seen pictures. But the new technician that came was checking our oven which our oven was working and told him it was the cracked top not the oven and again left with no answers. I called them and said they would call me back. Again they never did. After weeks of waiting for their call I called them back and said it was physical damage and would not be covered. Wtf... Not even a ** week with it and still fully under warranty and they wouldnt fix it. This company is really a ** joke. I was calling them constantly for over 5 months to get this fixed for them to tell me at last that they would not fix it. Very disappointed and frustrated process to go thru with this company. When I complained to them that they make dates and do not honor them, the customer service operator just said I am just the messenger and there is nothing I can do. I asked for a manager but the manager was too busy and could not talk to me. They would call me back. They never did. I called back and finally got a manager. There was no offer of help. No offering to make this right. They blew me off. I asked them at least deliver the refrigerator but they said if they gave me the refrigerator then my stove order would be cancelled. My husband has been buying Samsung product for 20 years and since building our new home of course all of everything has to be Samsung...well either theyre under new management or they are getting too comfortable with their name, because we have had bad experience with the oven the 1st year. Microwave numbers seems to jam sometimes but still work. There are so many of the reviews here with the exact issue I’ve had with the Samsung French Door refrigerator but I thought I would add my two cents just in case someone may still be considering buying one of these things! The ice maker has been a constant issue and I’ve had repair after repair called in on it. It completely freezes up and stops working, leaks water all over the place. It’s unbelievably annoying. I had the 4 year extended warranty with Lowe’s so I haven’t had to pay for these repairs but now I’ll have to be paying out of pocket for anything. Every couple weeks we have to defrost the ice maker. Lowe’s tells us now that they only consider a product a lemon if the same call is made 3xs in 30 days, well I could’ve met that criteria if I had felt like dealing with service calls over and over. However, had I known that I would have dealt with it. There is a class action lawsuit on this matter. Bottom line...run from Samsung.

Water started leaking from bottom and water gets collected on the drawer base and the vegetable drawer also. The drain plug design is so bad that the its bound to get clogged. The drawer designs are complex and poor that food particles get lodged into the crevices between the various plastic parts and it is very hard to clean and if you try to remove them the plastic parts start to crack. Did not expect this from Samsung products. Poorly designed for cleaning and defrost system is pathetic. Even my grandmother fridge did not have this water leaking problem.

Samsung Model DW80K7050UG/AA-0000 failed twice in two years: - Touch screen failed to respond- Top sprayer wand bearing failureThe touch screen failed to respond unless the power was reset. This got progressively worse until we had to replace the dishwasher with a Maytag. The display board was $150, but the problem might’ve been in the main control board which contain the power supply. Since it was out of warranty the repair may have cost $300.After a year of ownership, the top sprayer wand bearing failed because it was ground down by debris picked up by the dishwasher. I consider this a design defect. Fortunately this was under warranty repair but the dishwasher was out of service for about two weeks. Being an engineer, I deem this to be a design failure where on filtered water was put into a bearing which ground the plastic down until the bearing failed. I am no longer a believer and Samsung dishwashers.

2 year old refrigerator started making noise last October. We unplugged it for a couple days and read that the fan motor freezes up. So we thawed the fridge & sound went away and temp seemed fine. Then the last couple months food began expiring before expiration dates. Milk was curdled, dog treats moldy - were the obvious signs. Reading this website I knew that it was frozen motor. So I followed you tube instructions of how to remove back panel and got my hair dryer out and melted the 3 x 4 of ice block that totally encased my fan motor, coils and wiring. My question is, how is Samsung going to remedy this from happening again? How can this be acceptable? We should all be getting free service replacement parts from Samsung! I will never buy a Samsung anything and advise everyone to do the same! !

I have a Samsung refrigerator model RFG298HD that is less than 2 years old. There is an error code flashing on the display and none of the functions work - cant set the temperature in the frig or freezer, water and ice dont work, etc. Samsung service does not know what the error codes means - it is not in their database and they can not schedule a technician for 9 days. If this is how their service works I will not be buying anymore of their products.

Purchased a Samsung Model ME21H706MQS microwave oven and stove in October 2017. The microwave replaced a (what I thought was junk) Whirlpool microwave that was nine years old. The Samsung was higher above the stove and met all Samsung installation requirements. Thanksgiving Day comes, cooking for family and friends and the bottom of the microwave and door melts! We contacted Samsung many times, each time speaking to different people and on several occasions receiving different ticket numbers. All in all, they have a Samsung service company come to my home, but only after providing a very short notice and stating we must be home or the service will be void. Service rep comes and claims that its physical damage and is not covered by Samsung. Well hello! It melted! In short, customer service is absolutely terrible, Samsung does not stand behind their products, their follow-up via service reps is pressing and inconvenient. Terrible experience and would not recommend a Samsung product, nor will another ever enter my home.

Omg, how I wish I had read the Consumer Affairs reviews before I bought my Samsung range. Consumer Reports DID not give it a bad review. I purchased all new appliances for my retirement home and price didnt matter. Love my Sears Elite Refrigerator and my Bosch dishwasher. However, I cannot say anything good about the Samsung slide-in electric glass cooktop! The glass top has several scratches beginning the first time I used it. It was installed the second week of March 2018 but wasn’t used until April because I was in Florida. This is my fourth cooktop. First was a Corning, second and third were General Electric. After using it for only two and one-half months I cannot believe the condition of the cooktop. The booklet says not to slide pans. I try not to, but of course you will slide a pan occasionally. I use the same cookware that I used on the others. I never had one scratch on any of my other three cooktops. Every time I use it I’m a nervous wreck worrying about scratching it. There is no reason to get another top because I do not want another Samsung. This is a very expensive mistake! And, I will be replacing it. I feel sorry for those who are stuck with their Samsungs because they can’t afford to replace them. Samsung ought to stick with televisions. I sure hope there is or will be a class action lawsuit. Extremely dissatisfied with Samsung range and it will be a relief to get rid of it!

I bought this refrigerator three years ago and it takes $400 to fix it. Shame on Samsung. NEVER buy a Samsung appliance. Their customer service is terrible and less than USELESS. I would not recommend this refrigerator. The water dispenser leaked from day 1. I am constantly wiping the dispenser, refrigerator, and the floor. The water has stained the refrigerator. I am always stepping in a puddle. Now it is making a very loud noise and I think it has something to do with the ice maker. The long drawer in the refrigerator keeps coming off track. It is difficult to get back on track. Very annoying. The refrigerator is nice looking but definitely not worth the hassle.

I purchased. Samsung refrigerator in 2017, and had to have it repaired three times, finally gutting all cooling apparatus and replacing it to make it work. Even so, I purchased a Samsung range in 2018 on the advice of my local repairman. This stove was two weeks old when the black stainless steel coating began to peel away from the door of the stove after being cared for as the directions indicated: soft cloth and water. Home Depot and Samsung claim that this is not a mechanical issue and therefore not covered in any way. Then, a few months later, in November 2018, the cooking grates began to shed flakes of coating, right near my food, and rising was occurring and visible. They replaced them after a few months (March, 2019) more and several calls. My one year warranty was up in May 2019, the new cooking grates began peeling and flaking again in August. After much talking and being patient but firm, they have agreed to send me new grates, but why bother? They will peel again in a few months! I am so frustrated, how is this company allowed to make substandard appliances that are a danger to people and not even held accountable? I am really concerned about this flaking coating so near my food. I really want this stove out of my kitchen!

Purchased a Samsung French Door Refrigerator with the ice maker located in the food compartment, not the freezer section (in 2015/2014 mfg date). Should have suspected the design, but purchased it anyway. The in-door dispenser pushes a slushy watery mix for the initial action. Then I get soft ice cubes for the rest of the fill. Every two weeks or so, I have to remove the Ice Maker tray unit and chip the ice accumulation on the roof of the ice maker because the ice is clogged with an ice dam and will not make ice cubes. First guess is too much moisture in the ice maker unit. QUESTION: Is there any way to get the ice maker unit colder so the ice wont melt, causing these issues?

Have had 2 repairs but they just melted the ice so it freezes every 2 to 4 weeks. Shame on Samsung for not doing a recall. Its a very well known issue; the fan gets hot, melts the ice then it freezes back up again. I bought a Samsung Refrigerator in 2007. Nothing but problems. 4 Ice maker installed at almost $400.00 a piece. I call Best Buy. They were no help. No one in the town that I live will do repair work. They said they would not repair. Was not worth fixing. I found one repair place in the next state. They charge me $95.00 just to come to my house. I called Samsung after this problem persisted. I thought they would show a little sympathy, not a chance. That equals to an ice maker every 2 years I have owned this piece of junk. I have bought 2 Samsung tablets, a phone, a refrigerator and a range. You would think that consumer loyalty would matter but it doesnt. This fridge cost me $2415.00 plus $1600.00 for ice makers that is a total of $4015.00. This is a bad joke. The kicker is Samsung also makes the ice makers. They get your money every way you turn. I bought a Whirlpool fridge 28 years ago. It is still working and so is the ice maker. I should have known better, stick with what works. I will never waste my money on anything that has Samsung on it again.

Called Samsung technician to repair leaking refrigerator. Every time it went into defrost mode it would leak water, a little when I first purchased it, then much worse. Refrigerator is nearly two yrs old, so is out of warranty. I am a retired Engineer, so did some reading and found the problem to be a smaller than required heat sink (Samsung calls it a drain clip). This heat sink is suppose to keep the defrost drain from frosting up. Took technician 30 minutes to replace this part with the correct size. Per tech, he gets a lot of this work. Here is my problem, should a company like Samsung be charging the consumer for their design flaw? The cost was $173, part cost was $10 dollars.Called Samsung ECR (Executive Customer Rep), explained that this was not a repair or a fix, but a correction to a design flaw. I thought Samsung would want to stand behind their product, but all she would say was that it was out of warranty. The model # RF263BEAESP/AA. There must be thousands of these out there with this known design flaw. I hope this review helps someone if they are looking for a new refrigerator. Needless to say, I wont be buying any Samsung products in near future.

We purchased this Samsung Dishwasher in May of 2013 mainly to replace our 15 year old Whirlpool contractors grade dishwasher, even though, it still cleaned my dishes with no problems. It was a breeze to load and the dishes still sparkled after 16 years of use. We were planning a kitchen renovation within the next several months, so we decided to start with the replacement of the ugly, old, but still effective Whirlpool. We went with Samsung because of its reputation as an electronics top brand. Our whole family had Samsung smart phones and TVs and had no complaints. Apparently that is where Samsung should concentrate their efforts. This dishwasher has NEVER properly cleaned our dishware. After 2 + years, Ive yet to find a sensible pattern to place the dishware for cleaning. My Whirlpool was so easy to load. This one is ridiculous. Even following the manufacturers guidelines, the dishes still do not get clean. I will say however, that it is QUIET! You can barely hear it running. I guess it doesnt need to make a lot of noise if its not doing anything productive. I am so disappointed in this $800 purchase. The stainless steel does, or did, look nice when we first got it. Very soon after, the stainless steel became stained, even though I carefully followed manufacturers instructions on cleaning the surface. Shortly after the 1st anniversary of purchase, while wiping down the front of the dishwasher one morning, the entire SAMSUNG lettering came off on my dishcloth. So now, we dont have to be embarrassed that we have a Samsung kitchen appliance. This purchase has not been in vain however, because we now make sure to always read reviews first before making any purchases of large ticket items. BTW, love our LG washer & dryer, still perfect after 8 yrs of use! Really glad we didnt purchase the Samsung refrigerator, we were so sure we wanted. But thats another story!

We purchased a Samsung refrigerator instead of another brand for two reasons. One I liked the french door in the middle, and second we had numerous other Samsung electronic products and they performed well. That was our first mistake. Just because a company makes a good Television doesnt mean they know how to design and build an equally well performing refrigerator. About all I can say about it is that it does freeze but from there on forget it. The ice maker and in particular the dispenser suck. We never get only cubes, we also get crushed along with the cubes and the crushed flies all over. After 2-1/2 years Im ready to give up.

It was purchased in 2012 and warranty ended one year later. I found many reports of this same issue online by other customers. I offered to pay for corrections although from all reports there is a design flaw causing water to leak around the dispenser box. They still refused to schedule a service. WARNING: Buyer beware when purchasing Samsung home appliances. Within a couple of months of purchasing almost 2K of Samsung appliances; Dishwasher, stove and microwave the door on the microwave begun to melt. The cost to get new door was almost as much as the cost of a new microwave, Samsung denied warranty. The stove is horrible to use in every conceivable way. Their stainless steel is near impossible to clean and scratches easily. I purchased upgraded SS for fingerprint reduction, shouldnt have bothered. The dishwasher works intermittently at best then within a year the unit would not complete a wash/dry cycle. Worked around problem by manually running the pump, but eventually the sanitize light blinks rapidly would not reset without a hard reset at my electrical box. Now the machine will not complete a washing/drying cycle and I will be replacing. Troubleshooting guide says it is a drain problem. We do not have a drain problem, pump problem or leak problem as suggested by hundred of complaints on this companys dishwashers. Samsung response was not to respond at all. Many complaints I read online included multiple visits by repair people who are unable to fix this and other issues with Samsung appliances. The cost of their parts is so high that again replacement is cheaper in the near short time period. Many complaints online state that repair people used a shotgun approach replacing everything imaginable and within a few weeks or months the problems came back. Dont think the people who are complaining are a bunch of nut job, they are not. Samsung products are no longer on my list of products to buy. I have owned a lot of Samsung products but will never recommend or buy another one of their products until they own up to their problems. I am not holding my breath.
