The motherboard caught on fire. I was cooking something in the oven and had just checked my food and raised up to see the back of the stove on fire. Samsung will not fix the stove. I would not recommend anyone buying a Samsung range. They are dangerous.

I bought the Samsung French door refrigerator last Thanksgiving and it has been nothing but trouble ever since. The ice maker clogs and the refrigerator will not hold the temperature I set. We have had a repair person here numerous times (bought it from Lowe’s) who failed to repair it and dented my refrigerator door as well. Much food has been spoiled. And now it is Christmas and we have no refrigerator we can count on. DO NOT BUY A SAMSUNG REFRIGERATOR!! Youll be sorry!! Thank God its winter in Pennsylvania and I can keep my food outside. Hope the raccoons dont have a feast!!

My Samsung refrigerator model RF323TEDBSR french door was the best Samsung had to offer. It is nearly 4 yrs old now. From about one year to present it has had freezing up issues in the refrigerator section. After numerous attempt to remedy this issue with Samsung, they just keep giving me the same runaround telling me to level the fridge and set the temperatures as they recommend. I have done this diligently every time, however it is not getting better but worse. They are willing to send out a technician at my cost most likely to do the same thing I have been doing and then tell me its working. One month later I will be defrosting my fridge much like people were doing in the 50s.After doing a little online searching I have found that my problem is not unique. Many other happy Samsung owners are experiencing the same issues across many different models. Apparently there is a bad design with the defrosting system. SAMSUNG does not want to own up to it. I can kinda understand their side considering all the troubles they have had with many of their products such as the washing machine blowing up (we have them as well) and the phones catching on fire. WARNING, dont buy SAMSUNG refrigerators.

My Samsung refrigerator is an absolute nightmare. The refrigerator coils freeze-up with ice to the point where it stops the fan. I keep a thermometer inside to make sure the temp stays below 40 (Ive had it reach 55°F before I knew about this design problem). I have to manually defrost 2-3 times a week. TERRIBLE FRIDGE!

We got a Samsung Convection Range less than two years ago. It blistered on the bottom and the paint peeled off. It looks horrible. They won’t stand behind it saying it’s cosmetic. That is minor compared to the burning smell and smoke that goes through my kitchen and house when I use the oven. I can’t use the oven anymore for fear of a fire. They will not stand behind their faulty product!

Worst refrigerator EVER! Within a couple of months the bottom plastic piece cracked, there was ice in the bottom of the pull out drawer that froze, and NOW... The entire freezer quit and I lost tons of food! Since it is a dual cooling system my refrigerator section is also warm. I complained to Samsung and was informed that I put a heavy item on the bottom and thats why the plastic cracked. NOT!!! Ive had refrigerators for years and NONE OF THEM EVER CRACKED!!! Even if I did put a 22-pound turkey on it! BOTTOM LINE: PIECE OF CRAP!!! DO NOT BUY! YOU WILL REGRET IT!

BUYER BEWARE: From the day I received the refrigerator, the bottom load freezer never worked. Within a six week period; I made multiple calls to SAMSUNG; was sent two local techs, who was in contact with the samsung; Samsung cancelled the third tech with no explanation and the freezer is still not working. Dealing with the SAMSUNG SERVICE DEPT. has been one long nightmare. They have an 800 number so you do not get to speak to the same person; they are located all over the USA and Dominican Republic. I was given misinformation, hung up on, transferred to other agents multiple times and had to re-explain the reason for my call over and over again. The agents read off a script about their service policy I cannot get a replacement refrigerator until a part has been replaced twice AND THEIR service tech deems it unrepairable; I cannot receive reimbursement for lost food until the refrigerator has been fixed. The problem with my appliance is that there was a factory defect with the freezer drawer, the techs were telling me, but not communicating this information to the SAMSUNG TECh. I was assigned a case worker after the initial conversation about the problem, I never heard from them again.

On Feb 12th 2020, I had a new Samsung Microwave, Model # ME19R7041FS delivered and installed over my range. On May 11th, the microwave turned itself on. By the time I heard the fan running the oven was so hot I could not touch it. None of the controls worked to shut it off so I was forced to unplug it. The Microwave was hot both inside and the outside as well was so hot it not touchable. Fortunately I was home at the time of this incident and was able to unplug it. I cant imagine what might have happened if I had not been at home. I feel that a fire would easily have been the next step. I called Samsung and they said they would not replace the microwave that their technicians would be capable to fixing it. It is now supposedly fixed, however, I am not confident enough to leave it plugged in when I am not here. I unplug it when I am leaving the house. I feel Samsung should have replaced this unit as it was only 3 months old when it malfunctioned. I am seriously considering buying another brand microwave and replacing the Samsung one so that I feel safe.

My Samsung refrigerator model Rf260BEAEWW was delivered 5 days ago. I had to attach three handles which requires 6 small anchor screws. Only four were included, so I called customer service. After a 34 minute phone call with Samsung where I was continually made to feel not like a customer but as a person trying to scam them for two screws. They advised they had to determine if it was within 30 days and after giving them the serial # I also gave them the manufacturing date of June 2017. After 30 minutes, they told me I would then have to send them a copy of my receipt. It would then have to be approved to send these two screws.Totally frustrated I went to the store I bought it. They called Samsung and the salesperson advised, after an hour on the phone with their rep, they were going to contact me and arrange when a tech could come out and look at my refrigerator before it would be verified that I would receive these two screws. Still waiting, totally ridiculous. Obviously a very authoritative organization, lacking leadership and the ability to allow simple decisions to its employees.

I will NEVER buy another Samsung product ever again. BUYER BEWARE. To say I am frustrated and disappointed would be a gross understatement!!! We purchased our Samsung French Door fridge RF31FMEDBSR 3 yrs and 4 months ago. We spent $2200 on it thinking we were buying quality. Boy were we wrong!!! The seal has disintegrated twice, the ice maker works on and off and the shelf on the door came crashing down one morning on my sons foot sending glass jars crashing all over the floor and bruising his foot. I can no longer affix the shelf as the door is torn down to the insulation.I have attempted to get straight answers on this since Dec 21, 2016. I have noted names and dates of people I have spoken to each time. Like many others I was told to contact EEFIX a local authorized repair company to come out and diagnose the problem to the tune of $80. I was also told that I would be reimbursed for that cost once EEFIX uploaded the info on their end. Let the merry-go-round begin.I did everything I was told to do, and all I got was a lot of empty promises and now what seems to be untruths. Fast forward to today, Mr. Derek in Greenville proceeded to tell me that Samsung would do nothing because EEFIX did not leave any documentation. Of course, I called myself, to hear that they couldnt diagnose that the door was defective but broken. HECK!!! I knew that! What did I pay $80 for? Where is my refund? Oh I know Samsung isnt in the business to service just take money for cheap products that they are well aware are having issues. This is my 1st stop, next will be BBB and then small claims court. I will become their worst social media nightmare. All I want is my refund and door fixed.

I am not one to write product reviews but am so disappointed with my Samsung refrigerator. We bought our French Door Samsung refrigerator 2 years ago from Home Depot when we built our home. I loved it!!! Then about 3 months ago the refrigerator showed problems with cooling and the lowest temp we could maintain was 44 degrees and often cooled at 46. We had a Samsung certified tech come out and work on the refrigerator and he found coolant leaking. After a call to Samsung, Samsung told the tech the refrigerator could not be fixed. Now we are waiting Samsungs final decision as to what will be done. With Thanksgiving next week looks like I will be out buying a new refrigerator and it will NOT NOT NOT be a Samsung.

Called and they couldnt get out til Monday. They said I would receive a call later that day with an appointment time. Never got a call. They showed up without notice on Monday morning. Tech said it needed major repairs and they wouldnt have the parts til Friday. Thats 8 days without a fridge. Called Samsung call center to complain and they didnt offer anything to help us. Asked to speak with a manager. The response received was you are unable to talk to a manager. Asked for an email address for a manager. Nope not an email address either. What type of call center or any business doesnt have a manager on duty. That is an absolute lie. They just dont want to be bothered. We planned on remodeling our kitchen with all Samsung appliances. Two years ago we remodeled our kitchen. The new Samsung over the stove microwave matches the new Samsung stove and has some nice features and I do like it, but it is starting to make a grinding noise. It seems to have caught something from its big brother, the stove. This stove has all the bells & whistles..Looks like a cooks delight... Thats a disguise. The stove really sucks. It cooks everything to hot and the smooth top is a ** to clean compared to my old Whirlpool smooth top. The top burners on the Samsung take eons to come up, and when they do it mimics Kilauea. It will not do a simmer but slow boils. I end up cooking everything on the small burner rings, including big pots. I had to drop the oven temperature down 25 degrees to get the right results. I called the Samsung repair service. The guy told me there is nothing wrong with the stove. He must be a Democrat.Recently, when I use the oven, the convection fan started making noise... It is now making a racket. I checked with an appliance guy and he said that he has seen Samsung stove fans junk out before and eventually seize on a regular basis... the cost to replace the fan assembly would be about $300-$375 bucks. I went on the Internet and found videos on how-to replace the fan. I found an appliance parts website. My husband looked at the YouTube videos and is going to fix the stove himself. Never a Samsung product again. I understand their TVs are not very good either.

We bought an elec. Samsung stove top and oven combo because home was wired for elec. We had a Whirlpool before and it was great. This $2000.00 Samsung is pure junk. Burners are way too hot and cycle on and off all the time. The surface is also very hard to clean. We like nothing about this thing. Please dont buy. It is the absolutely awful. It looks good but, that the only good thing we have to say about it. Just would like one that works like a stove top should and be somewhat easy to clean with a constant temp. Samsung 30-in Smooth Surface 5-Element 5.8-cu ft Self-Cleaning with Stream Slide-in Convection Electric Range [Stainless Steel] Price was $1,799.00. Impossible to make candy or anything that needs constant temp.

This the 4th microwave I have had since 10/08. The first 2 were GE and needed repairs in less than a year. The Samsung I purchased for the 3rd oven lasted a number of years and I recently purchased another Samsung which was identical to the discontinued model, except it was no longer 1100 watts and some of the buttons had been moved. Bought July 2016. Now 3 1/2 years old. Called because freezer was not freezing while refrigerator still worked. Day before tech came found ice on inside wall of refrigerator. Tech said two problems. Ice on the wall is a little problem. Freezer is big problem. I would have to pay for the little problem and warranty would cover freezer. GREAT worth fixing. Freezer had a Freon leak. Suppose to be covered. After working on and discussing with manager he said they wont warranty it, there are many leaks in copper tubing and corrosion on compression. Said it was due to environmental reasons maybe humidity. Crazy we built our house 30 years ago and put in a Sears Kenmore refrigerator. It lasted 27 years without any repairs, replaced because of color. No leaks. No corrosion. Was still working. My house has copper tubing plumbing. I havent had a leak in 30 years. Other appliances replaced washing machine 1 time during the 30 years and I am on 3rd dishwasher (once to update color once because I tripped and fell on door bending the hinges). In fact I bought the dishwasher around same time as Samsung refrigerator and it is still going. Only the Samsung refrigerator rotted out in 3 years. Not one p problem two problems on this Samsung in 3 years. Search sealant leaks, Freon leaks. You will find it is not uncommon for relatively new Samsung refrigerators.

There is a sensor to defrost the fridge and send the water created down a drain for evaporation. This sensor fails to work causing water to pool inside either under the crisper drawers or the cool select pantry. If the water is not noticed, it will ultimately flow from the unit onto the floor. Sometimes this sensor will also cause freezing of the fan that keeps air circulating in the refrigerator. Personally, I had this problem repaired on 4/3/12 and today, 10/29/12, I have called Samsung to report that it is happening again. Their customer service stated that the repair is not covered, is out of warranty and they will not pay to replace/repair. I decided to do a little research via the web and after typing in various forms of the following question: water leaks in bottom of fridge, water under food drawer, water leaking from fridge, etc, I have come across over 2,000 inquiries to this question just from the Samsung website. When I visited other sites, i.e. AppliancePartsPros.com and ConsumerAffairs.com, I saw another 500 plus complaints. So how do we get Samsung to admit this is a defective part and correct the problem for all of us? I slipped on my tile floor because of the water and now have my ankle in a brace. Other folks have complained about flooring becoming damaged, food loss, all sorts of problems because of this defect. I cant afford to keep calling a serviceman out for the same problem and probably lots of others feel the same. Thank you for looking into this matter.

This is the second French Door Samsung fridge I have bought, and it will be the LAST Samsung product EVER to be in my house. The first french door one was perfect. I purchased model # RF263AEWP from Lowes in Dec. 2011. Bought an extended warranty, that was a waste of $. Cant get anyone to come out. There is only one company in the East Bay of San Francisco that will come out my way for warranty work and they have lots of complaints on Yelp. They must all know the problems and dont want to bother? The water pools at the bottom of the fridge, the icemaker works when it wants, frost buildup on the back wall of fridge, etc. Today the final straw was the horrific fan noise that stops when the doors open, and then resumes when the doors are closed. With open concept kitchens, the noise is extremely annoying. I am going to throw in the towel and get a new one, even though I cant afford it. Too bad there is not a designation for negative stars! I cant get to my receipts - the filing cabinet is stuck closed.

Purchased a french door model in 13 that has worked great. Never missed a beat, no complaints. Based on this success bought another more expensive with cold door in Nov 15. Last week which is early Nov 16 the center drawer control panel failed to respond to input. Samsung did send an authorized tech out that diagnosed the issue and had to replace the entire drawer which is currently on order. That is a big fail to me. Replacing an entire drawer vs the panel is poor design and worse poor reliability. This refrigerator has hardly been used.Had I known what the reliability was of this product I would have either purchased an extended warranty which you cannot do with Samsung after the purchase or purchased another brand. I am now stuck with the knowledge that if something fails it will be expensive to fix and no way to lessen the pain with an extended warranty. Buyer beware. I purchased my 2nd Samsung refrigerator based on how great the first one has treated me...

Its a shame that a $3,000 refrigerator comes with such an inferior ice maker and even a bigger shame that Samsung thinks its okay to sell you a fridge that spits ice in your floor every time you use it. Their customer service department said that if they send a technician out to look at it they will bill me because they dont consider this a defect. Huh?? Be informed before you buy a Samsung product.

I have the same problems with the others. Right now I water in both my veggies/fruits bins and underneath the bins are water and frozen ice. Also, the ice maker keeps making ice even though it is full; therefore, all the overflow ice fell down under the freezer drawer. Every time I open the freezer drawer, ices will fall out onto my kitchen floor and I can also see there are a lot of ice stuck all the way in the back of the freezer. I either have to use a long stick to brush them out. It is a major headache with Samsung as they are the worst company I have to deal with. Samsung is very unreliable and irresponsible for their products, keep saying they wont fix my refrigerator because 1 year warranty is over. In order for them to fix, they will charge me a fee to come by to take a look at it and any repairs they will do. I see other Samsung models have the similar problems as mine but how come this model of mine isnt on the Class Action Suit Settlement. Please let me know if it is on the settlement as I want Samsung to pay for their bad products.

I purchased this beautiful refrigerator RF4287HA. After 13 months, an error code showed up on the display. I called Samsung and they sent out a repair service. When this particular one was made, the assembly line forgot to put the protective plastic cover over one of the sensors which allowed the sensor to drop down and be cut off by the smaller plastic drawer in the freezer. Repairman said we should get our money back for the service repair since this was a defect when this one was made (even though it was about 5 weeks over the 1-year warranty).Basically, somebody did not do their job when our refrigerator was made. After 4 calls to Samsung, they told us to send a statement from the repairman and they would refund our service call fee. After 2 months, a message was left that it was not going to be refunded. I talked with the service rep and he said, Sorry, its not going to happen. I assured him that I would make sure everyone I come in contact with would know what kind of company Samsung is. Buyer beware.

We have had a leak in the water everytime you use the crushed ice--cannot get it to stop, now the water works and no ice---I notice this is an ongoing problem with this Samsung RF23HCEDBS/AA Bottom Freezer. I have them coming out to fix this and it is 2 years old so it is out of warranty. I have seen that it may cost up to $600.00 to repair this, well we paid over $2,000 for this fridge and if it costs me that much I will dump it and buy a new one but never again a Samsung! This is very frustrating and when I tell them that this is an ongoing issue based on the reviews all they say from whatever country they are answering from thank you sir. The dishwasher repair was so expensive I elected to buy a new Kenmore. The refrigerator nightmare has been going on for 3 months with Samsung customer no service. These people jerked me around for 3 months (over 20 hours talking with them to fix the problem). My advice is do NOT allow Samsung to send out a repairman. Samsung will tell you its covered (as did the repairman) but when the job is complete you will be charged. I then got stuck with a large bill. If yours breaks call your own appliance repairman and save yourself your sanity. Samsung is a greasy/sleazy company selling beautiful but poorly made appliances. I will never buy or recommend their products.

Before Thanksgiving, the freezer stopped working. I had to throw out hundreds of dollars of food. I called in a service repair person. The first repair guy said he could not fix it. Our home owners warranty company called in Sears repair and they fixed it. Now 3 1/2 months later, the same thing is happening, this refrigerator is defective. I again had to throw out hundreds of dollars of food. I called Samsung. They said, Sorry, we will send a repair person but you will have to pay for service call and parts. I said unacceptable. Samsung should stand by their products, this refrigerator is obviously defective. Do not buy Samsung, very poor customer service!!!!

We bought a Samsung double door fridge freezer less than a year ago. Already broken down 4x spoiling all the food. After sales service is terrible, always takes +3 days to get a technician on site. Claim we had too much stuff in the fridge last time?? So weve been conscious to keep it half empty (not sure why you would buy a big fridge to do that) and it still broke down. Food is rotting in there as I type. Heading out to buy a new fridge and throw this one away, could not in good conscience pass it on to someone else even for free as it is a massive lemon.

They sent out Williston Repair Group rep who wanted to charge me $110.00. I declined, told him to leave. Called Samsung, they verified it was still covered and redid work order. After a few days, I called Williston back and was told they would not send anyone out because I had slammed door on their rep and was rude. Besides, door handles were exterior damage. Called Samsung back, was told that they would call them and straighten this out. They called me back and said that since the handle was EXTERIOR and subject to damage, it is not covered. If I could give them NO STARS, I would. Naturally, I will NEVER buy any Samsung product again, as I feel they cannot be trusted to stand behind their products. We have a Samsung Induction Range purchase in 2013. There have been consistent issues, but nothing as serious as last night. I was washing dishes when I heard a clicking sound. When I looked over at the range, the panel and burner lights were flashing. Within seconds there was an extremely loud pop and then major arcs and flames. Since our breaker box was in the next room, I was able to turn power off to the unit right away. The range is out of warranty, however, because an electrical fire should be considered a major safety issue, I contacted Samsung and explained what happened. So, Samsung is sending a appliance repairman out to assess the damage and because my oven was on fire, they wont charge me a diagnostic fee! Really Samsung? Shame on you! After I called and left a message and waited 2 days. Another week for the appointment. The service tech never called to confirm and I waited all day. This service request on a new fridge was a nightmare. Thier service company OMB/friends tek is so unprofessional. They called me to schedule time. Hung up on me the first time. They did not call back, but put in notes that I hung up on them. When I called back, waited on hold 45 mins. Then was disconnected. Called back. Waited 30 more minutes. They pressed que to leave a message. I got a message that voicemail was full and told me to try my call later. They tried again to call me 2 days later. I called right back and went through the same scenario. 3rd time they called, I answered and was able to s he duke a service call 1 week later. This whole time I have been calling Samsung customer service with no resolution. They in fact, said they also could not get through to the repair vendor and I should keep trying.Day of appointment- I get a text from Tech telling me he will be there in 4 hour window. I asked if he had a slide protector for the floor (which is standard issue for appliance delivery and repair, and what the installers used). He said no. He told me if to have the fridge moved out away from cabinet before he got here. I advised I could not do that as it was too heavy. He advised me to reach out to place I purchased as he would not move. He only replaces parts or repairs. I contacted Samsung, who again could not help and advised me to contact Home Depot.I contacted Home Depot and explained the situation. They sent out a manager with slide pads and he moved fridge out and placed slide pads under the fridge. Repair tech came out. He showed up in an unmarked personal vehicle with another man with no uniform. How unprofessional. All he wanted to talk about was how he was not going to be responsible for property damage. We determined what the issue was, which turned out to be an installation issue. We also purchased a dishwasher with this fridge. We spent over $4000 and this has been one of the worst experiences I have had with a purchase. Samsungs failure to respond appropriately and ongoing issues with this vendor(as referenced in online reviews) will cause me to never buy a Samsung product again (we also have 2 Samsung TV’s).

We too should have done better homework before purchasing a Samsung refrigerator. We purchased this model after a kitchen remodel project almost 4 years ago; what a mistake. It has been a nightmare owning this refrigerator. We have gone through 3 technicians from the same repair company and am currently writing this review waiting for the 4th tech. to show. Every tech. so far has confirmed the same problem each time; icing up around the fan blade area causing terrible loud noises until the fan seizes up and stops; causing the fridge section to not cool anymore. We have given up with the ice maker not working sometimes and just use bagged ice now. Like others seem to be facing; Samsung seems to refuse there could be an engineering problem with their product. We are planning on looking for a new (non Samsung) product after this 4th technician de-ices the fridge again. Samsung has not just yet figured out how to make a long lasting cooling unit; or maybe they dont want to?

Purchased a French door, lower freezer Samsung fridge from Lowes in 2009. I have a 25 year old Jenaire fridge in the garage that I have never spent a dime on for repairs. I had had multiple problems with the Samsung fridge, including having to replace the ice maker, some other parts that caused the fridge to stop cooling (about $400.00). The ice maker has always leaked water the first time it is used, causing stains down the front of the door & pooling on top of the freezer door. Now my newest problem is that the door that has the ice maker is rusting through, particularly around the ice maker but also at the bottom. My fear is that the insulation in the door is covered In mold.

We are totally dissatisfied with Samsungs French door refrigerator (RF26VAB
We are totally dissatisfied with Samsungs French door refrigerator (RF26VABWF) and totally frustrated with dealing with their appointed service representative - Lakes Electronics. We purchased a French door refrigerator December 2008. By March 2012, the refrigerator stopped cooling. Between Lowes service company and then Samsungs factory service unit (Lakes Electronics) it took three trips and $570 dollars to get serviceable.Three years later, the refrigerator started leaking water from the unit that was replaced in 2012. We called Lakes Electronics directly for service, who responded appropriately the next day. The repair person defrosted the leaking unit, charged the standard fee, and gave us his directed contact number. Within a few days the refrigerator started leaking water again, we waited a few days in hopes that it would corrected itself and called for another service trip. On the second trip, the service rep took the unit apart, supposedly unfroze the drain line and told us that he would check with Samsung to try to diagnose the problem. He said that he should have an answer in a day and a half.Needless to say, the leak resumed within two days. The rep failed call with the status of the claim. We called him twice after a week, but he failed to answer and failed to return the call. We infer that he had no idea what was wrong. We dont know if he neglected to contact Samsung or Samsung didnt know how to fix the problem. Now we contacted Lakes again. We get the answer that they will send the same representative out and that they will charges us again. In effect, they promised fix our flat tire by filling it with air but not find the nail that causes the flat. When we question whether they guarantee that the problem is fixed, we get a run-around. When we ask to discuss the issue with supervisory staff, we are put on permanent hold.In addition to the above tale of woe, the ice maker stopped working a couple years ago. Plus the cold water runs so slowly, it is totally worthless. These problems were true with a brand new filter. The filters cost $40 every six months. With the rest of our frustrations with our purchase of the refrigerator we havent even considered bringing service in for ice and water line problems. For sure, we will never buy another Samsung appliance.

We have a three-year-old Samsung RFG298AABP/XAA French Door Refrigerator. Had the repairman out twice because the refrigerator wasnt getting cold enough and there was virtually no ice production. It was deemed unrepairable by the repairman because it was leaking freon in a place where he could not fix it. He said Samsung should replace it with a new refrigerator.Samsung contacted me and said they estimated the original cost to be $1,874, but they would only reimburse me $1,300. Then I called the second time and they said no, I would get the entire $1,874. I went to the store to look at new refrigerators and got sticker shock. I could not come close to the same model for that price. I was appalled that after three years, and their unit being defective, I would only get $1,874 to replace the refrigerator.I emailed the company to complain and was told they would send it to a supervisor to see if they could accommodate me after I told them I checked prices and the model like the one I have ran $2,799 now. I have spoken two more times to their Executive Customer Service, and they are telling me I can only get $1,874. I feel they should compensate people the replacement value when their refrigerators are defective. In conclusion, I will NEVER purchase another item from Samsung.

We purchased a $5000 Samsung 4-door refrigerator two years ago and it was the biggest mistake I’ve made in my home. The ice maker gives us constant trouble. We had Samsung come out and repair it 6 months ago and it has already broken again and they want me to pay $100 just for a diagnostic appointment that won’t even cover the repairs! Worst of all, when the repair person came the first time he told me that Samsung knows this is a problem with their design and has just decided to screw the customers who already purchased the product and wait and see if they will call for repairs. I am an educated consumer who did my research but this fridge is absolute junk. Samsung should stand behind their products and less than 2 years for a $5000 is obscene. Now I’m trying to decide whether I should fix it or throw it out. I wish I had bought a Sub-Zero in the first place. STAY AWAY FROM THE SAMSUNG CHEF COLLECTION, IT IS ABSOLUTE GARBAGE!!!

My hardwood floor is damaged - second time in two months! We found water puddling up on the right side facing the fridge. In searching for the source, we found a small puddle inside the fridge on the right side just under the large cold-cut drawer. On further inspection and upon taking the drawer out, we found a solid thick block of ice! In fact, it was very difficult to remove the drawer. We thought we were breaking something! That was two months ago. The Samsung authorized repairman told us that the back panel was frozen, we would have to turn the fridge off for 2 days and then he would come back, take the panel off and maybe find what was causing our problem. How do you store all your cold food for two days? Well, he said our fridge was too cold and that we caused the problem! Well, two months later the fridge was at recommended temp and the same problem happened again. Now, we find its a design problem and Samsung is sending out a bulletin to their authorized repair people in two weeks!

I have had the worst experience with my FIRST and LAST Samsung purchase. My fridge like many others has the issue of the drain tube freezing causing water to drain into your vegetable drawers and under the drawers. It took me a few months to determine this was actually the fridge causing this and not my kids with water bottles. The first agent I spoke to said well why did you wait so long to call, it’s not like this started yesterday. After explaining that I initially thought my kids were placing open water bottles and they were spilling, I was told that I was not covered under warranty as my unit was made in 2014 even though I didnt purchase it till 2015. The agent asked me for proof of purchase and even after I explained it was purchased from a lease to own I was assured that if I had not had the unit for 2 years I would be covered. I sent in my proof of purchase then was told it was not valid and they needed my lease agreement. I again was assured that once that was sent in that Executive Relations has given the go ahead to cover this issue at no cost. I sent in the lease agreement as requested to then be told that I was OOO since the unit was manufactured in 2014 even after I was told they would cover it. I have spoken to several advisors and not one has been able to locate the previous notes on what has been told to me. This has now been an ongoing back and forth for the last 3 weeks. This is a well-known issue on this model and it’s beyond disappointing that a company like Samsung does not rectify the issue when a customer calls in concerning this WELL KNOWN ISSUE. After 3 weeks of back and forth calling I now have to wait another 24-48 hours for the service company to call me and then I still dont know if I will be covered for this issue. I will not ever purchase a Samsung product just in the fact that they are not willing to make things right with a first time customer with a known issue. Customer service goes a long long way and unfortunately Samsung has proven Im replaceable and dont need me as a customer.

We were under the impression (albeit falsely so) that Samsung products were superior in quality, and that this company stood behind the integrity of its products. NOT!!! We have already had to replace the ice maker and the freezer fan assembly. After speaking to three different phone operators (all of which represented a series of going-through-the-proverbial-policy-motions), I finally was put into the ECR department in hopes of speaking to someone, who had not already been thoroughly programmed into the mechanical answers representing Samsung androidism. Suffice it to say, I hit wall, after wall, after wall after Wall. The only so-to-speak courtesy I was offered was to spend some additional money to buy into another year of protection. Really? I am sorry, but when I spend this kind of money for a product, I expect quality performance for a little longer than two years before it start breaking down, leading me to dig into my pocketbook again. Moreover, to spend additional money for extended warranties on products (i.e. Samsung products) highly suggests that Samsung does not want to be held responsible for its own technical errors or designed failures.

We purchased the 2 door refrigerator with the freezer at the bottom. About a year and a half we noticed it started leaking big puddles on my wood floor. We went back where we bought it and they told us that we were out of warranty. I ask them what could be causing this problem and they said we probably did not have it level. We checked, it was. We kept going back and did not get any results so I would tell everyone dont buy the Samsung 3 door refrigerator with the freezer at the bottom. Ice keeps building up on the bottom drawer.

French door bottom freezer with middle draw. Icemaker overflows, appliance repair company said there is no fix. Samsung danced around for weeks before we contacted the attorney general for a resolution. Finally Home Depot forced Samsung to buy back this paperweight. Nothing was happening until we took steps with the AG and they contacted Home Depot whom we bought this from. Home Depot was extraordinary in helping to get our refund.

I too bought a Samsung Model RF4287HARS/XAA and spent over $3000 for it while doing a remodel in our kitchen. We designed our kitchen around this (what we thought to be beautiful refrigerator) just to have our new wood floors ruined by this POS! The ice maker dumps ice everywhere. Water runs and freezes under the drawer to the point we cant open the drawer. Then it runs all over the floor and under the fridge. Weve called customer service several time to no avail. Biggest junk Ive bought!

Bought Samsung side by side refrigerator in 2009. It has been leaking a lot of water down to the bottom of the refrigerator, under the drawers, which then leaks out onto the floor at least two or three times per week. We assume it is from the filter area. We do use the manufacture recommended filters so are not sure has caused this. The center of the refrigerator between freezer and fridge area gets very hot to the touch around the indoor icemaker. Wish we never bought this. We are very Brand Loyal customers, but will never purchase anything Samsung again.

Samsung 2.1 OTR Microwave SMH2117S - Sometimes only the timer works, microwave doesnt heat up anything. Sometimes the microwave comes on and go from 60 to 0 in about 10 seconds or less, then shuts off. Tried to pop a bag of popcorn. It turned on properly, then turned off, then on again, then off again, then on again, worst bag of popped corn ever. Of course Samsung doesnt fix their mess up, that bill goes to the customer. I am a customer of Samsung no more. We bought our appliances from Sears, not again. We have only had our appliances for a few years now, they should last longer. Too many complaints about this company.

We bought 1000 dollar Samsung 2 years ago. Only reason we replaced our 300 Maytag was because it was almond and we wanted stainless steel. We went to buy a Bosch but salesclerk said Samsung was better and quieter. So we listened. Im a person who still scrubs all my dishes before hand even though they say its not necessary. We called service and said dishes were still dirty. We tried putting in dirty dishes, different dish washing soap etc. our dishwasher. Every time you open it smells like someone died. When the tech came over he even commented on how new our dishwasher looked and he had no explanation. Its a piece of ** and a big waste of money. Dont buy a Samsung!

Ive owned the Samsung Fridge for 28 months and noticed that items in the freezer were thawing out. Called Samsung was given their authorized repair shop. 3 business day wait (Do they have a lot of work?). The coolant chemical Freon was leaking. I tell Samsung this is not normal and they say Well its past warranty so you are on your own. Over $1,000 to repair to the fridge is basically worthless. No sense repairing the existing piece of garbage so I will buy a new one. NEVER NEVER NEVER buy a Samsung. Quality is poor and they will NOT back you up when this problem occurs.

First, I must tell you this refrigerator was purchased for my 90-year old father who lived in the country by himself, 5 miles from any of his kids. It was purchased in 8/2011. Approximately one year later, it went into demo mode. Theres nothing in the book about it so I called Samsung. They said it had to be caused from a power surge and they told me to reset it, so I did. Approximately a month later, it did it again. This time, I did not call them. I reset it myself. On Oct. 31 of 2012, I had a knee replaced about three weeks after my dad called and said it went into demo mode again. My husband had to take me out there to reset it. It was on the weekend and we could not get a hold of Samsung, so I called my son-in-law who had had the same problems with his. He told me to unplug it and see if it would reset, which it did. It seems to work for a while. Again in Feb, it went into demo mode again. (When it does this, it is not working, no cold air.) Dad tried to reach us all day. Finally, he got a hold of us in the afternoon. The refrigerator had been off all day. My son-in-law went in the afternoon and turned the refrigerator back on. Samsung wont do anything because its been over a year. Lowes wont do anything because we did not buy the extended warranty. It has gone into demo once this month already. 1 1/2 years old and it is a pain in the butt for my whole family.

Our Samsung fridge, purchased with our townhome in 2012 has an obnoxious odor coming from it. We have removed everything, turned off, cleaned thoroughly, restarted and still the odor persists. Smell does not come from anywhere specific (that we can locate) but is strong enough to permeate throughout our house. We called Samsung and were told to check our fridge for rotten food - daaah! We are not that stupid and frankly feel insulted. Looking at comments on Google, we believe that Samsung has a problem with this unit but does not want to admit it. Any suggestions or advice?

We have a Samsung 3 door fridge with a bottom freezer (Model RF217ACPN) which has been leaking water into the crisper ever since we bought it. The first year we had it, it started to leak water and Samsung sent a service man out to fix it. He fixed it but months later it started to leak again. After he fixed it, 3 weeks later it leaked again. Samsung has paid for all of these repairmen at a cost of $200.00 a visit. When we call Customer Service about a refund or replacement we get stonewalled. They will not even let us talk to anyone higher than a customer service rep. We are very frustrated as they say their tech dept. has to deem this unit as having a factory defect. I dont know, and they cant tell me, how this is determined. They have already spent almost the original price of the fridge in repair bills but refuse to make this whole thing right. We are done with Samsung and will not buy anything from them unless they resolve this matter to our satisfaction!

The microwaves fan has come on by itself, and 7 seconds appears on the microwave as well. This is a top of the line microwave (Model # ME21K701DS). After reading some of the reviews, I spoke with Samsung. Samsung will not fix the issue since it was no longer under warranty. No recalls on this microwave issue. The microwave was purchased, November 2016 - this should not be happening. Yet this appears to be happening to many other Samsung customers. This appears to be a malfunction - is there anything that Samsung will do?

Wish I could use all the slangs in here to define how Samsung AC/Service Center people work. Main thing to understand: NEVER EVER buy a Samsung AC. Go for LG instead. I have all good reviews about LG from few of my friends. Samsung is all interested in selling the product. They are not concerned if the customers are facing issues with the unit nor concerned to consider feedback and work on the same. I started noticing a bad odor from the indoor unit within two days of installation (and let me tell you that I hardly use it in the night for an hour at the max). I called up customer care, registered a complaint. Well, the person assigned Mr. ** was very rude and has soo much of attitude that he does not want to listen to what you want to say and disconnects.Next day when I again call him, he says he will attend. He comes, just sprays the perfume and leaves. I myself had done that many a times before he could visit to bare the smell. This is not called as a service. But the bad odor exists. I know that bad odor can be for two reasons, if some dead insects in the drain pipe or if there is a lot of dust collected within the filters. This cannot happen within two days and I am sure about that and as I mentioned, I havent even used it that much. I registered a complaint again through email. I get a con call arranged. The service manager Mr. ** says he will get the indoor unit replaced. I asked him to service it first and then if the issue persists, then to replace. He acted off to be a very good human being on call and provided a contact number to directly contact him for issues. There was another technician arranged to look into this and he did clean the filters, drain pipe and all. But the same day, in the night, the smell was back. So I tried contacting Mr. **, and he does not pick up the call. Once he picked up and promised to give a callback but I did not receive any. Then after trying numerous times, he picks up after a day and he transfers the call to someone and when asked about the replacement as promised, he is all rude like Mr. ** and says will send a technician. I was explaining him the scenario and he is not bothered to listen and he laughs over when asked about replacement and disconnects the call. Let me tell you, the technicians who come for installation, issues, they are all inexperienced, irresponsible. They dont know how to explain anything. They hardly look like 17 years old. I am not saying all are inexperienced, but yes, people who did come to my place were.Samsung is the worst product ever. DO NOT BUY. Their service sucks. Such an harassment for a customer. Service people are inexperienced and irresponsible. I am going to write everywhere I possibly can. I just wish and pray your business stops in the AC world. You guys should consider recruiting experienced people, or at least give a proper training and should learn how to talk to a customer. ** unit and service. Model number: AR12KC3HATPNNA.

4 Years ago I upgraded 4 of my appliances, 2 of them Samsung fridge and microwave. Fridge broke in 2013. Microwave broke this month. Called Samsung informed them its not working and gave burning smell and they recommended to have microwave evaluated by tech which I refused (reason written below between they told me after 1 year no warranty). Went to Best Buy and bought GE microwave. Hopefully it will last long. Our TV from Samsung already broke of course. Last year when my fridge broke, I called Samsung. In short they recommended CERTIFIED technician who came and couldnt pinpoint issue (FREEZER SIDE WAS NOT WORKING, MELTING EVERYTHING). He told me it could be one of many reason and recommended to change 3-4 expensive parts plus his labor cost. I could buy new fridge comparing parts and labor cost. My opinion Samsung products dont last long. If you have money to throw, do buy them.

It absolutely amazes me that SAMSUNG thinks it is okay for a 4 year old microwave to come on anytime the door is opened. Anyone else see a problem that this is dangerous to our children whom did not realize it was not working properly, so they stuck their hand in the microwave to lay the food on the turntable - all the while the microwave was operating - WITH THE DOOR OPEN??? I have a ticket number, a chat ID number and 2 phone calls from ** from their escalation team. Each of these encounters with their support team showed no concerns nor did they think they were responsible or liable for anything, they will NOT fix my microwave. So, for now I am using my 15 year old Sharp microwave in my garage. I replaced the keypad after 2 years because if you boiled anything on the right side of your stove the vent is not adequate enough nor is the keypad waterproofed so the condensation gets in and shorts it out. The repairman informed me Samsung had since figured this out on the next years model and corrected it, but did they repair my keypad? NO! I suppose I shouldve known better than to think they would care that my microwave comes on as soon as anyone opens the door, they were not concerned in the least! Guess my new 60 inch TV will be a Panasonic, that definitely changed my mind.

I bought a Samsung mirror-finished two-door fridge at Riyadh, Saudi Arabia in 2007, in Geant Store Khuraise. My kids phoned me that it is not getting cold. I said to them, they must switch it off as it might burn them. It never made some ice. It was installed by Nirvana Ageng Samsung Polopkoane. I told them the same agent came and open my fridge, and he said it is the compressor. I must wait so that they can check if it is still under warranty. They never came back.We kept on calling him, but no answer. I went to Bokstreet Samsung branch. They said it is not under warranty. If it never makes some ice, they will fix it, but I will pay all costs+transportation. Now it is about 3 years. I reported it to South Africa, and Riyadh , Saudi Arabia. I need my money back or a new fridge. I will give you up to the end of this month. I will go to LG. I paid a lot of money for that fridge. I have already sent my complaint to consumer lawyers.

Our Samsung side-by-side with bottom freezer has stopped working for the second time in two years. The first failure was the freezer fan, repaired under warranty. I bought our Samsung Refrigerator in 2008. After replacing the water filter for the second time, it started making a loud noise. I called Samsung and they said they have not had any problems like this and told me I only had a year warranty because I did not purchase an extended warranty. I told them Ive learned in the past that if you buy a good product, you dont need to waste money on extended warranty. I was given the name of a repair service company that can repair Samsung. He came out and said it had to be one of two parts. He ordered both parts, came back in 10 days to replace one or the other and we told him go ahead and replace both so we dont have to play a guessing game which one it was. Well, a week later, it started back up again. This time, louder and harder. I just called the repair company and left a message for them on their recorder with the fridge making the noise for them to hear. I took out the water filter so we can get some sleep. We have well water so we really need the filter.

My husband purchased the whole kitchen group less the dishwasher from HH Gregg before they went belly up in 6/2017 with a 5 year warranty ($500) EXTRA! The icemaker stopped producing ice in Oct 2017. Called warranty dept. They sent out tech and he thawed out the underneath of the icemaker. Stated there was no replacement at the time. We could deal with it and hoped it fixed it. In 2018, it started the same thing, NO ICE and frozen up again. The warranty dept sent techs out on 3 different occasions that year, still NOT WORKING properly. The warranty dept said there was nothing else they could do and we would be getting a refund check in the mail.We received a check for $1400 from Samsung this year, called and asked why not a full refund, were told the techs that had been sent the 4 trips to REPAIR totaled the balance of the total cost of $2500 we originally paid for the refrigerator. This is a beautiful Black Stainless 4 door. I totally loved it from the start but I HATE IT NOW AND WILL NOT BE PURCHASING ANOTHER SAMSUNG ITEM! So we lost out on over $1000 and still have a broken refrigerator!

I purchased my home 1 1/2 years ago and my home came with a brand new Samsung fridge, range and dishwasher. My dishwasher has already been serviced 3 times and it still stops working sometimes and has a flashing light that will blink to indicate a malfunction. My range worked fine until a week ago when we heard a very loud pop and the range completely shut down. We spoke with Samsung and they will not do anything about it. If you want to spend thousands on an appliance that will not last more than 2-3 years, Samsung appliances are for you. I am very surprised that a company as successful as Samsung has not recalled these potentially hazardous and outright disastrous products. One can assume, based on their lack of taking care of these problems, that within 3 years Samsung will no longer be selling appliances. I am extremely disappointed with this company and their products. Buyer Beware.

Samsung French Door Refrigerator - Model # RF263BEAESR/AA - BEWARE ----> BAD PRODUCT & BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE ----> SAMSUNG. $2,000 refrigerator with ice maker that has not worked properly since day one. Samsung warranty repaired twice in first year. Ice maker would work for a week or two then frost up and leak water on inside, collect then leak out doors making a mess all over floor. After several frustrating calls to Samsungs resolution department I received another service call outside of warranty (1 year) to replace several parts and defrost element. This did not fix the problem and ice maker frosted up a couple weeks later. Requested service AGAIN and waited 1 month without a response. Finally was told Samsung would not repair or service further and I should contact a service center to pay for another repair. Note: Service techs both told me the icemakers are a HUGE PROBLEM for Samsung. What a freaking joke! Samsung is making a piece of crap and is failing to support and/or correct this.
