Ive had my dishwasher approximately 2 years... It occasionally doesnt dispense the soap during a load. Today, I see a huge discoloration in the stainless steel on the front panel, right behind the soap dispenser? The spot is the size of a peach. I tried window cleaner on it, to no avail. I have no clue WHAT caused this. I will be calling PC RICHARDS to complain.... Im sure after 2 years, they will not want to hear it, but something is obviously defective in the door... since it was fine until today.

What can you say about this tv that hasn't already been said in the previous reviews. I had the choice between buying an additional boxcar on my private train and this tv and made the right decision! I'll probably buy the boxcar next week, or maybe a new train entirely, but I digress. The tv is truly breathtaking and after my hired help had it working, my monocle fell right off my face and would have shattered had I not been able to catch it in my top hat before it fell to the ground. If you have a few extra pounds in your trust fund, have your closest man-servant make the purchase and thank me later!

I remodeled my kitchen and bought all new appliances for continuity. Samsung had a special going on with interest free purchase so bought their refrigerator, dishwasher and microwave. I am having difficulties with their dishwasher and refrigerator. Lets talk about the dishwasher first (model number DW80J3020US). This dishwasher does not work well at all. I pre-rinse before I load and yet it does not wash dishes clean unless on heavy wash with sanitize option. Even then, sometimes the dishes are not clean. I called Samsung customer service and we did some troubleshooting over the phone. That did not work, so she sent someone to look at the dishwasher. The repair man came. He was super rude and short, he turned it on then turned it off and said nothing is wrong with the dishwasher. I need to buy a different dish washing soap. I told him that the soap would not cause the dishes to have black particles on the dishes also that I pre-rinse. He stated that Samsung only recommends the use of one type of soap. Then he told me that if I call to waste his time again then there would be a charge. My refrigerator (model number RF23HCEDBSR/AA) is only one year old and the ice maker is not working. I called Samsung and the customer service rep. stated that I need adjust the leveling of the fridge and check that my water supply is enough to the fridge. She claimed that the front of the fridge must be higher than the back. I did as she told me yet. NO ICE and the water trickles out. I told her this and she insisted that it is my fault. I asked her to send someone out and she said I would be charged. I WOULD NEVER recommend any of Samsungs products to anyone.

Samsung dish washer looks great. However, there is some sort of problem going on and the company offers very little help. Our unit quit after about 13 months. Service guy came and said, Samsung is known for bad circuit boards. He replaced the brain and it work for maybe two days. I pulled the thing out and disassembled/reassembled and it worked for another six months. Its dead again and all the online reviews i see give me very little confidence this thing will ever work. Ive sacrificed $600 to the appliance Gods and am going with something else. Samsung will see no negative immediately. However, with this crap, they will go the way of VW.

I have had the steel fridge for 6 years and 5 years of problems. I went to get a repair to the fridge as a sound was coming out of the fridge. The fridge section was warming, so we threw the contents out etc. The repairman said that dont waste your money leave the appliance off for 24 hours and all will be good until the next time and do it again. The crisper also freezes the vegetables all the time. This has been going on for 5 years. I am looking for another appliance now as we have had enough, now the off on situation does not work like that. From other complaints it seems that they have not learnt their lesson.

My light went out and could not get the bulb out. So I unclipped it and it was melted so I took down other light and same thing - just not as bad. Apparently Samsung has a lot of product fire safety issues. Check your refrigerator light sockets and let me know. I think this is is a huge issue and you cant tell unless you drop the lights down. Its hidden on top.

DO NOT PURCHASE A SAMSUNG STOVE!!! Actually I will never buy any Samsung Appliance ever again! The glass top of the stove got several cracks on it while I was cooking from the burner getting too hot (it was on medium). Manufacture defect but of course they denied any repairs. Only 8 months old. $1000 down the drain. I should of read the reviews before purchasing! Again do not purchase any Samsung appliances. You will regret it. Trust me!

I purchased a gas range on 1/1/2019 and paid $721 for it and that does not include the delivery, install and 3 year extended warranty. I have had a problem obtaining proper temperature since beginning. A service person came out and said there was nothing he could do and I could just change the temperature on my own. I believe the oven bake temp is correct after using the instructions in manual, but the convection oven temp is still about 25-50 degrees off. There is no way to adjust that. I filed another complaint after serviceman and just got a call from Samsung that it is my fault and there is nothing they can do. I got this stove mainly because it was a Samsung and it has a convection bake feature. Now I will not be able to use convection unless I want burnt or undercooked food. I am so angry. I have a Samsung phone, Samsung washer and dryer and a Samsung microwave. Never again. I will never buy Samsung nor will I ever recommend anyone else I know to make the same mistake.

Bought my Samsung Stainless Steel Gas slide-in range #NX58H9500WS on March
Bought my Samsung Stainless Steel Gas slide-in range #NX58H9500WS on March 26, 2016. Last week after the holidays on 12/27/17 decided to use the self cleaning oven for very first time (oven was only lightly soiled). I picked the short 2hr cycle since it was the first time using the cleaning feature. About an hour later noticed the display lights were all off and oven was not running. Oven door was locked. The knobs and display panel were hot. Waited for it to cool down for hours. Nothing changed. Luckily the stove top still worked! Called PC Richards for my extended warranty service. A week later the repair tech came and said he has seen this problem many times before and that it is a known design flaw of the range and suggested I clean the stove manually from now on! I couldn’t believe what I was hearing - after spending over $2000.00 on a new range I am supposed to clean it by hand? The tech ordered the 3 hidden thermal fuses and will return to repair when they come in. If that does not unlock the oven door he states it could be that the motherboard was also fried and need to be replaced. Luckily I have an extended warranty but if I attempt to use the self clean again will this happen all over again. I will be contacting Samsung for the answer. I am 60 yrs old and have never had to clean any oven manually before and don’t intend to start now! Apparently this is a known flaw and this product should be recalled by Samsung. I will wait until the tech returns with the parts (hopefully within another 2 weeks) and everything is fixed and then intend to contact Samsung again. This is a major inconvenience, not having an oven for at least 3-4 weeks. I hear the customer service and satisfaction at Samsung is less than adequate but I am relentless and will not accept this situation. I will keep you posted.

I bought our Samsung Refrigerator in 2008. After replacing the water filter
I bought our Samsung Refrigerator in 2008. After replacing the water filter for the second time, it started making a loud noise. I called Samsung and they said they have not had any problems like this and told me I only had a year warranty because I did not purchase an extended warranty. I told them Ive learned in the past that if you buy a good product, you dont need to waste money on extended warranty. I was given the name of a repair service company that can repair Samsung. He came out and said it had to be one of two parts. He ordered both parts, came back in 10 days to replace one or the other and we told him go ahead and replace both so we dont have to play a guessing game which one it was. Well, a week later, it started back up again. This time, louder and harder. I just called the repair company and left a message for them on their recorder with the fridge making the noise for them to hear. I took out the water filter so we can get some sleep. We have well water so we really need the filter.

I have owned one Samsung refrigerator and will never buy another one, except for a boat anchor. I have had trouble with the ice maker ever since we had the refrigerator, it is so terrible. It freezes constantly and the ice will pour out all over the floor. We have hard wood flooring in our home and this refrigerator has made a mess of it. I just want to let Samsung know that their product is a piece of crap and is more expensive than other brands which our friends have. They never have problems like we do. We have had it worked on so many times. We could and should have ditched this thing and bought a new one of some other brand name, but we kept hoping that it could be repaired to work as advertised. There should be some type of liability placed on a manufacture for making such a terrible product. Thanks for nothing.

Two years ago, we bought a Samsung refrigerator and it has been nothing but a money pit. We bought this from Lowes and it is no secret that this product is a piece of junk. Why would they keep selling them? The thermostat went out 31/2 months ago for a price of $300 and another service call a month before that for a price of $100. Well, the thermostat is out again and Samsung said that the thermostat has only a three-month warranty. The only positive thing I can say is that the set up manual tells you what to do so you can throw it away. I am going to cut my losses and buy a new one. Does Samsung made it or has anything to do with it? I have had my last Samsung product in my house.

We purchased our Samsung #FTQ353IWUX stove 8 years ago. There have always been little problems, all happening after our extended warranty expired. Ie: the glass top cracked; cleaning cycle never completely cleaned the oven; now I have a problem with the oven light flashing off and on and snap/crackling/popping when I turn the oven on. Purchased from Lowes. They gave me 2 repair companies to call. Neither will touch a Samsung. So, off to buy a new stove in the next day or 2 and it will NOT be a Samsung.

Please do not purchase this refrigerator. I purchased this refrigerator and did not have it for two years before the ice maker went out, which was the start of the problems. I called Samsung for repair and they sent a repair tech out and he replaced the front panel with the touch buttons. I asked, would that cause the ice maker to stop functioning? And he said yes. So it began to make ice for about 6 months then the ice maker stop making ice again along with the freezer going out. So, I called Samsung again and they sent another repair tech out and he replaced the motherboard which did not fix the issue. So I called Samsung again and they sent out another repair tech this time. He went into the freezer and replaced a small cable and told me that it should be fine for 24 to 48 hrs. So, this did not fix the problem which completely made me upset with the refrigerator and regret ever buying Samsung brand and will never purchase another product other than a cell phone. Clearly, they need to get out of the refrigerator business.

Built new home 2010. In April 2014 after four years, dishwasher, a household of only 2, this dishwasher would not go into start mode and lights were flashing. Called Samsung, they advised no problems reported. Not under warranty, nothing they can do. Called for service they indicated it would cost more to repair, buy a new one. 5/30/14 purchased new same model since only model the store offered. In Jan 2015 dishwasher started to experience the same issues as my 4 yr old model. Still under warranty, Samsung repaired. Aug 2015 the dishwasher is again having the exact same issues. Samsung although stated the sensors have 5 yr warranty now they say they dont and will not repair. This dishwasher has a major problem and us the consumer is paying off it. Do not purchase this model.

We bought a Samsung RF261BEAEBC refrigerator in February of 2013. In early November of 2013 the water dispenser cover broke. I was directed to Samsungs customer service number by the retailer and was told by Samsung that the warranty was from the date of manufacture and not from the consumer purchase date. I was floored and asked to talk to a supervisor. After being on the phone for over 45 minutes, they finally agreed to send a technician to replace the part (it snaps on and off - they could have just put one in the mail).

We purchased a Samsung French Door Style Refrigerator from our local Lowes about 6 years ago. A few years after we had it, the produce drawers started to get water in them and then started freezing into sheets of ice. It ruined produce, etc and then we couldnt use either of the drawers. It cost us at that time $200 to have it fixed. The repairman told me then that this was a common problem with this refrigerator and it had to do with the design. Just called a repairman today to come and repair my refrigerator with the very same issue. Another $250 repair into this product. Samsung should stand behind these repairs if this a poor design or defective part in this refrigerator. The next time it happens I will give the refrigerator away and never buy a Samsung again nor will I ever recommend this product to anyone.

My side-by-side Samsung refrigerator, model RS265TDRS, was purchased in December 2010, so its about 3.5 years old. Very expensive unit. It started making noise sounding like a generator - so loud, I was afraid something was breaking in there. When I opened the refrigerator door it would stop, then start again when the door was closed. We moved the food into another refrigerator and freezer, unplugged this unit, and made arrangements with Samsung for a service call. (That itself was an adventure: Samsung rep never responded to email; the phone number in the refrigerator manual was for mobile phone service; the online form for a service request didnt work under several browsers. Finally used live chat and had the chat rep fill out the service request for me.)Two weeks later, I plugged in the unit in preparation for the service techs visit. No noise. The service tech called me to confirm the appointment, then suggested we cancel the service call, because (a) with no noise, he cant really diagnose a problem; (b) chances are it was just ice build-up and may never happen again; (c) removing the panel to get at the fan means removing all tech, because everything is attached to the panel, and that means replacing the panel because you cant just put it back on after its been taken off; and (d) something like his labor and the panel wouldnt be covered by warranty anyway after 3.5 years. These are expensive refrigerators. I like lots of things about it, but I think its ridiculous that I should have to unplug my refrigerator every now and then to make sure ice doesnt build up, and its ridiculous that this problem wouldnt be covered under a warranty. For anyone who has the same fan-sounds-like-a-generator problem, unplug it for a while and save yourself the hassle of getting in touch with Samsung. Im really hoping this solves the problem.

We purchased a beautiful French door with a cooler drawer fridge in Jan of 2019 from Best Buy. I absolutely loved it. Feb. 19, 2019 (1 month later) we woke up to our kitchen, dining room, living room and entryway flooded. We had Best Buy come out (Geek Squad) to evaluate it and were told it was a defective part behind the removable filter. We had to have our entire kitchen, built in dining room and living room built ins removed. The walls were all removed 2 feet up from the floor and all tile removed. Samsung Microwave model no SMH9151STE - I received the SE Error for the first time a week ago or so and followed the instructions provided to clear the error so that the microwave can function again. Unplugging did reset and clear the SE error only for about 12 hours and then it came back again. I called Samsung and discovered that my warranty had expired. The microwave is under 2 years old. The angering part is that it took the very nice repairman about 15 to 20 minutes total to switch out the part and correct the issue. The total cost of the part was $33.61. I was charged $135 plus tax for about 20 minutes of labor. This seems like a common error and since this is the case, why doesnt Samsung provide some sort of discount since their product is defective? Samsung should stand behind their products and offer customers experiencing the SE error some sort of discount or no charge for 20 minutes of labor!

I purchased a Samsung refrigerator (model RS265TD) from Lowes on 8-1-2012. This purchase has been the most horrible experience of our life. We have had 4 repairs, with a 5th one scheduled, for this horrible noise that sounds like a B52 bomber taking off (just 2 months after purchasing) followed by a defective solenoid supposedly because the repairman could not figure what else it could be because the computer showed no problem even though it would take days for the ice maker to make ice. Then again in November and in January 2013, when the noise continued and the ice maker would shoot ice out 30 feet all on its own followed by not working at all and noise still continuing, another repair. Then again, another horrid noise. We called the company again. They scheduled the service call and when the repairman showed, Samsung said that there were no previous repairs and that it did not warrant any replacement or refund. This past March 2013, they kept their repairman on the phone for 2 hours and we also were on the phone. They kept passing the buck. Lowes isnt any better. They washed their hands of anything after 30 days. I am checking with my lawyer now. No one, and I mean no one, should buy from Samsung. They are horrible and do not stand by their warranty. Run from this and all of their products as fast as you can.

My husband and I purchased a white Samsung French door refrigerator (RF26XA
My husband and I purchased a white Samsung French door refrigerator (RF26XAEWP) about four years ago. Recently we are noticing that the porcelain beneath the water/ice dispenser has begun to rust. When I contacted Samsung customer service, I was told that the warranty had expired and that this was cosmetic damage and we would be responsible for the repair. I was given the phone number for the Samsung Repair Service for my area and that was it. When I expressed concern that this refrigerator was rusting after such a short period of time and that possibly the porcelain coating was improperly or inadequately applied, I was told there was nothing they could do as the appliance was no longer under warranty. So now I am going to have to pay $502.90 to replace the door. Apparently it is of no concern to them that I have to pay this, given the fact that we feel the problem was inadequate porcelain coverage in the first place. After 47 years of marriage and many refrigerator purchases (various brands), we have never experienced rust on the refrigerator. That being said, we will fix this appliance as we cannot afford to purchase a new refrigerator, but we will never purchase another Samsung appliance again. This refrigerator was purchased at Lowes in Kissimmee.

Purchased a Samsung side by side in July 2015. About 4 months ago I noticed an odor in my freezer and fridge. Contaminated my food and made the ice taste terrible. I pulled everything out, cleaned every inch of it with baking soda water and put a box of baking soda in the freezer and fridge. I still have the odor. Had a technician come out because my ice maker was not producing ice and asked him about the odor. He could smell it too. He checked the drain, coils & compressor and found nothing wrong. I cleaned it out again and still have the odor. The technician said it smelled like celery. Agreed, but no celery in my fridge. Purchased stove, fridge, microwave. Within a month microwave acting up. Within 2 months fridge defrosts. Defective appliances. Samsung promises refund and new appliances. They make us jump through hoops while making promises including telling us to cut the electrical cord on the fridge to get refund and once we did that they stopped communicating and no refund or appliances. Absolutely disgusting people. They are sick. So much money to now own junk. My old appliances were much better. They stole our money and then put us through heck.

While baking at 375 degrees and standing in front of the oven I heard a loud pop, and then seen a lot of smoke coming out of the top rear behind the clock and program panel. From the smell, it was obviously an electrical fire. The circuit board and connectors burned up. Luckily I was close by and able to unplug the stove. Stove is completely inoperative and is only 6 1/2 years old. I never had any problems until now. I was able to unplug the stove so I do not know if the fire would have continued. Dangerous fire hazard. I wonder what would have happened if I was not home and my granddaughter decided to cook a pizza. Out of approx 40 comments I have read, three of them mentioned the same thing happening to them.

They range from not starting to electronic display problems. Finally, last week in early Dec., it died right after the warranty had expired. We had a tech come and he confirmed that the motor had burnt out which would cost over $500 to repair!

They called back and said it would be 3 weeks before someone could look at it and they would refund our cost. Fast forward until today, still waiting on money, no calls returned as promised, on hold for 30 minutes at a time, multiple apologies, and they are only pay the cast of the refrigerator, taxes and fees are my problem. The worst company I have ever dealt with, incompetent employees that read off cards and overbearing. I bought a Samsung RF266 for ~$1,500. Within 2 years, the sensor broke and iced up and caused the fan to make noise. It was repaired, but of course, not covered under the manufacturers 5-year warranty. The repair guy told me its quite common that the sensor has issues. Having known this, I would not have purchased a Samsung fridge. It cost me about 20% of the original cost to have this fixed. As a reasonable person, I would expect issues such as this to be covered under the warranty. The warranty states, Samsung will repair or replace any part found to be defective. It also states, This limited warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. I think any reasonable person would expect a sensor to work for the full 5 years. And if not, that it should be covered under the above warranty statement. I called Samsung and the lady Ashley basically told me I should have gotten an extended warranty and it was not their issue that the sensor breaks frequently. Theres customer service for you. So I would definitely not buy any of their products going forward as well. Samsung, you guys are pretty dumb and have lost out way more than you would have if you just covered things like this under warranty.

Samsung Dishwasher Model #DMR 78AHS - I have only had this product 18 months and have had to replace the upper washing rack brackets twice. Once by home in-service repair, which was covered under warranty and then again by myself, which cost me $35 to repair. This is clearly a design flaw issue where the small plastic holders on the bracket break off and can potentially get inside the unit and cause it to make a grinding sound, which is unpleasant when you are expecting a quiet product. This is what happened to me. I have spoken to Samsung personnel and J & J International (supply part company) about the product flaw and neither company will admit there is a problem or provide reimbursement. Both keep referring me back to the other one. I have also sent e-mails to the CEO and Consumer Voice.

I have been a fan of Samsung for many years and love the televisions they make. I have three of them. I thought I would get the same quality product in their dishwasher. I purchased the DMT-800RHS. This product, simply put is a lemon. The unit has a water fill sensor, that when it gets a little dirty it produced a 9E fault code. This code will come up every couple of months. Same problem with new parts. Its like having a car that when the engine air filter gets dirty it generates a code and renders the car inoperative. This product is the biggest waste of money at $799. Samsung tech service is heartless and do not really care, only to offer to come and clean the part every couple of months for $150 plus tax. If any water falls into the machine while replacing the water fill sensor you get a LE fault code. This is a leak detection fault. Now you must bring the machine outside, turn it upside down, remove some screws (special screws) which are of a torx type and dry the internal parts. It must air dry over night. Simply put this unit is the biggest lemon and Samsung will not acknowledge it. They simply do not care. I will never buy another Samsung product ever again.

I cant describe how horrible experience I have with Samsung product, lets begin, in 2013 I bought Samsung French door refrigerator ( RFG297HDRS/XAA) from Best Buy and I paid extra for extended warranty (which I found out it is not extended warranty. It is duplicated warranty). Now in 2016 it is broke down. I talked to Samsung few times. There is no authorized repair center close by and they had to talk to Sears Service but make long story short the estimate of repair is around $600 maybe even more for replacing control board. I recommend to stay with common brand like Whirlpool or Kenmore, Amman instead of paying more for some foreign brand which it cost a lot to repair plus they have very short life.

It absolutely amazes me that SAMSUNG thinks it is okay for a 4 year old microwave to come on anytime the door is opened. Anyone else see a problem that this is dangerous to our children whom did not realize it was not working properly, so they stuck their hand in the microwave to lay the food on the turntable - all the while the microwave was operating - WITH THE DOOR OPEN??? I have a ticket number, a chat ID number and 2 phone calls from ** from their escalation team. Each of these encounters with their support team showed no concerns nor did they think they were responsible or liable for anything, they will NOT fix my microwave. So, for now I am using my 15 year old Sharp microwave in my garage. I replaced the keypad after 2 years because if you boiled anything on the right side of your stove the vent is not adequate enough nor is the keypad waterproofed so the condensation gets in and shorts it out. The repairman informed me Samsung had since figured this out on the next years model and corrected it, but did they repair my keypad? NO! I suppose I shouldve known better than to think they would care that my microwave comes on as soon as anyone opens the door, they were not concerned in the least! Guess my new 60 inch TV will be a Panasonic, that definitely changed my mind.

I purchased this beautiful refrigerator RF4287HA. After 13 months, an error code showed up on the display. I called Samsung and they sent out a repair service. When this particular one was made, the assembly line forgot to put the protective plastic cover over one of the sensors which allowed the sensor to drop down and be cut off by the smaller plastic drawer in the freezer. Repairman said we should get our money back for the service repair since this was a defect when this one was made (even though it was about 5 weeks over the 1-year warranty).Basically, somebody did not do their job when our refrigerator was made. After 4 calls to Samsung, they told us to send a statement from the repairman and they would refund our service call fee. After 2 months, a message was left that it was not going to be refunded. I talked with the service rep and he said, Sorry, its not going to happen. I assured him that I would make sure everyone I come in contact with would know what kind of company Samsung is. I not only dont recommend this product, but I also would suggest that you avoid Samsung products altogether. We purchased a dryer with matching washer and have had multiple problems with them. After six technician visits we still dont have a fully working washer or dryer and to make things worse they have told us we need to pay if we want another technician visit. I sent the following email to Samsungs supposed executive customer relations department as well as directly to the Samsung US CEO, it was completely ignored by them.Up until just recently I have been a huge fan of Samsung products. I have owned or currently own monitors, mobile phones, washers, dryers, and TVs. I have been a loyal customer but my most recent purchase has me awestruck. About four months ago we purchased a SmartCare VRT laundry set. The day after it was installed we woke to find our home with a strong smell of gas. I determined it was coming from the laundry room and suspected the laundry appliance installation was at fault. We called Samsung for service and a technician was sent out. The technician investigated the gas leak and informed me that the gas lines to our new home were leaking and not one of the Samsung appliances. I called the gas company and when they arrived they found that there was a gas leak, but it wasn’t in the house lines. It was coming from the dryer. We called Samsung a second time. When the technician performed the second appointment he acknowledged that the dryer was leaking and scheduled another appointment to replace the faulty part. Three visits from the Samsung technician and finally we get a working dryer after two weeks. A few months later my wife started complaining about the washer stopping and throwing an error in the middle of hot water loads. After it happened a few times I told her to call Samsung for repair. The technician came out and spent about thirty minutes with the washer. He eventually called me in and told me that it has hot water and that there wasn’t much he could do. I informed the technician that when my wife pointed out the issue I recalled an error message “4C” being displayed when the wash would stop functioning and constantly beep with the error message. After basically living with a washer that won’t use hot water cycles for a couple of weeks my wife noticed that the dryer wasn’t drying clothes normally. We called Samsung again and informed them that our washer was still malfunctioning and now the dryer was not working well either. This time before the appointment I spent a couple of hours recording video on my phone of the 4C error and erratic behavior of the washer. The next day the technician arrived and spent about fifteen minutes with the dryer. The technician informed me that we shouldn’t use specific features (smart features like auto dry) on our dryer and that we should use timed dry. I was told that although the dryer had some warmth that there is heat so the dryer is working fine but at no time did the technician check the temperature with, how does he know if it’s getting up to proper temperature? Yeah, the dryer gets warm but not hot, in fact not even close to hot. When I mentioned the washer and show the technician the video of the malfunction, I was told it wasn’t on the work order and even though we called for service for it and had video of the malfunction that it could not be looked at because it wasn’t on the service order. Tonight, I followed the technician’s instructions and used the time dry to dry a handful of clothes. After one hour the clothes on high heat with eco dry turned off the clothes were still quite wet. The dryer clearly doesn’t work as it did a month ago. The technician also recommended cleaning our ducts but seriously it’s a six-month-old home and my wife does maybe three loads a week for two people, so the equipment is hardly being overworked much less should I have a duct problem. I also noticed that my wife is very good about cleaning the dryer lint catcher. She does it every load from what I see. I hate to ramble on but as you can see this has been nothing less than an adventure and a complete waste of my time not to mention the time off from work involved in six technician visits that didn’t result in our appliances being fixed. I recently posted all this information to the Samsung Facebook page and it was completely ignored for a week which is simply insulting at this point.

We bought this refrigerator from LOWES in 2016 for just under $2600; we didnt know the icemaker had a problem until after the warranty expired because we didnt live in that house but for a few months of the year just before we retired. It froze up and the plastic bin cracked when we removed it from the freezer. The repairman replaced just about everything that could be replaced in the icemaker and we were charged $1170!!! Within 2 months of that expense, the thing froze up again. The repairman just left, didnt charge since we were within the 90-day period of the first repair. But he said Samsung told him they would not replace our refrigerator, they might give us a break on the price of another... What a load of rotten tomatoes!!! There should be a recall, and I should get my money back for having bought their defective product and for the expense of the repairs. The angst and inconvenience should be financially compensated for, too, but I am not holding my breath.

I purchased several Samsung kitchen appliances from Lowes in July of 2011.
I purchased several Samsung kitchen appliances from Lowes in July of 2011. They are very attractive to look at. However, not quite two years after purchase I noticed the back wall of the refrigerator was icing up. I checked to make sure the items in the refrigerator were spaced well and not blocking the vents where it was icing up. After a number of attempts to stop this action, I called Lowes. I was told that since I had not purchased the extended warranty, I was out of luck. They did send an appliance repairman out who looked in the refrigerator and called Samsung Tech Support. I was told the advice given by Samsung was that I should unplug the refrigerator and leave it thaw out completely, then plug it back in and it should be fine. I wasnt happy about this solution and called Lowes who told me that I was encouraged to purchase the extended warranty when I purchased the appliance (evidently they knew something about Samsung appliances that I didnt). I was told that unless I followed the instructions from Samsung there was nothing they (Lowes) could do to help. I did as I was told, thereby losing $$$ worth of food I had purchased for expected guests. When I plugged the refrigerator back in, it worked...for two days. Started frosting up again. I called Samsung. They sent out a repairman, 10 days later. He looked at it, said he had to order parts. He would call when they came in. Its now approximately 3 weeks after discovering the problem. I waited another week to hear from the repairman, finally called and was told part just came in. Repairman came out 3 days later to fix the problem. He installed the part. Refrigerator worked for 2 days. Now would not cool below 66 degrees. I called Samsung. Repairman could not come out for 3 days. He was heavily scheduled. Ill bet he was...all with defective refrigerators. Finally he came out and said there was another part on the thermostat that was defective. He had seen it the first time but it appeared fine. $325.00 repair bill and over $300.00 worth of spoiled food, restaurant bills with guests, and finally the refrigerator works. The whole issue left me with 6 weeks of no refrigeration. Samsung said they would reimburse me for up to $200 worth of food. Ive submitted the necessary papers and documents 3 times...still no reimbursement. DONT BUY SAMSUNG REFRIGERATORS!!! YOU WILL SURELY REGRET IT!!!

I bought a Samsung French Door Refrigerator in May of 2020 from Home Depot. It was delivered in June of 2020. Just over a year old and its unusable. Temp readings shown on refrigerator are not the actual inside temps. Temps read normal but actual temp inside is 48+ in fridge section and 20+F in freezer. I had to throw out all of my food. Samsung has no tech in my area to look at it. Because of this they refuse to do anything about it. This is a known defect with Samsung refrigerators. They are not honoring the implied warranty. Parts are still under warranty. So without looking at it they are just saying its out of warranty. How do they know what part is causing the issue? It cant be out of warranty if you dont even know the cause. The ice maker seems to be the biggest issue. So now I sit here 2 weeks later with no refrigerator and no option of getting one anytime soon.Prices have almost doubled since I purchased this appliance. Not sure how hard it would even be to even get one with the shortage thats going on. Samsung has done nothing but play games over the last 2 weeks. I was offered nothing. No tech, no refund, and was told to find someone myself to look at it. Yet, if its not a certified Samsung tech I void the parts of the warranty that are left. If they cant find one in my area, how can I?A voicemail left yesterday says theyre trying to get a hold of me to get someone here and today I have a text from the same guy saying theres nothing they can do. So I wonder if it had been within the first year and it malfunctioned, how would a tech have magically appeared? If there isnt one now there couldnt have been 4 months ago either. Theres a class action lawsuit against them at this time. A FB group of 84,000 people complaining. It has made the news in several states. I would say they have a serious problem and theyre in no hurry to do right by their customers.

Dishwasher DW80F600 Series Serial # B00AG9MF106456D - We purchased this dishwasher 13 months ago for $800 at Lowes. It stopped draining the water last August, so we had it repaired under warranty. The technician they sent out installed all new parts on the machine. It worked well until last night when the problem reoccurred. When I pulled the machine out to find the serial number, I noticed that the frame was badly cracked on both sides. The cracks emanated from holes that were drilled in the bottom front of the frame. Having studied metallurgy, this is called stress crack corrosion, and is normally caused by a vibration. I called technical support and they told us that since the machine was one month out of warranty that they could send out a technician to repair it for $309.00 (including tax), and that they would also extend the warranty for another year at this price. After reading the reviews on this series, we opted to discard it and purchase a model that was not a Samsung.

We purchased a Samsung French Door Refrigerator/Freezer almost 3 years ago
We purchased a Samsung French Door Refrigerator/Freezer almost 3 years ago from PC Richard & Son. We have replaced the shelves which line the doors at least 6 times. They are of the absolute poorest quality and are usable for barely 6 months before breaking. Samsung has ZERO to say about this, and offers nothing to the consumer in terms of compensation. We have spent over $250 on new shelves. This is apparently quite a common problem as the shelves are back-ordered and we are now living with one empty door. Aside from this, the ice maker is on its 3rd breakdown. This is another common issue with Samsung. There is a video on Youtube about how to try fixing it at home with 100,000 views - as my husband says, its hard to imagine that people are watching this for entertainment. Apparently the ice builds up in the back of the fridge and is then hit by a fan, causing an incredibly loud, constant noise. We have had this repaired twice by PC Richard, the last time was just a couple of weeks ago. Samsung refuses to acknowledge that their product is defective, and offered us parts if we would pay their service department for the repair. Funny that their same defective parts have failed to fix the problem twice already. My refrigerator is now empty while my husband attempts to blow dry the back of it to get the ice to melt. Samsung is producing complete and utter garbage. They have no respect for their customers and do not stand behind their products. I will NEVER purchase another Samsung item and intend to warn anyone who wants too.

Discovered ice machine was not working properly on newly delivered refrigerator the first day in use. Contacted warranty division for repair and promised contact with 48 hrs. After 2 days without contact and again called warranty service. They reassigned repair ticket to another company. After another 4 days without contact I again called warranty division and was issued a new repair ticket number to yet another repair company. Was contacted by Samsung Tracking Service to check status of repair. Upon hearing that no contact had yet been made by repair company. Tracking Services said they would expedite repair order. After another 7 days without any other repair contact I contacted retailer (Home Depot) for return/refund. After hearing my story, agent put me on hold while she contacted assigned repair company who informed her that they had no record of repair ticket. She reissued ticket (under same number) and promised a quick contact from them. Ironically, a few hours later I was again contacted by Tracking Service inquiring as to the status of my repair. In our discussion she informed me that her records showed that the repair company had indeed received the repair ticket in the initial transmission and offered to put my case into the Samsung Resolution Department for review. As they were Samsung and has hired the (non-responsive) repair companies in question, I asked her to contact them to expedite. She proceeded to inform me that she was unable to contact their repair company on my behalf.I fail to understand what Samsungs definition of Customer Service could possibly be. They know theres a problem with your brand new Samsung Large Appliance. They know there are multiple failures (3) in their repair chain, they continue to ask you how is your repair going, but they refuse to actually step-in and take charge to resolve the problem. Instead, leaving their consumer to contend with the (obvious) dregs of the appliance repair world that theyve chosen to repair their products. Guess with everything in the recent news regarding Samsung guess I should be happy that my refrigerator hasnt blown up yet. The LAST Samsung product that will ever enter my home. Buyer beware!

DW80F600UTS/AS - Worst consumer experience in my life. Unit failed last month of warranty. Door latch defective, sensor controlling cycles defective. Did not go through cycle, dishes dirty and not dry. 3 visits from authorized repair, 2 after warranty expired. Repairman installed new improved sensor. Finally agreed to refund, but now claimed unit had to be depreciated. Then came the totally outrageous part: to get refund, consumer must cut power cord purchased separately with the unit (no refund for that), take a picture of cut cord. Then, consumer must remove decal attached to door, affix it to refund request, and send it to company. Decal could not be removed - took a photo of it next to cord. Not enough! Told to use a straight razor, no exceptions! It still doesnt come off. Imagine giving this advice to an 80 year old with a tremor? This company needs a major overhaul. Policies designed for maximum profit and will not honor warranty for defective product.

I purchased model# SMH1816S a little over two years ago and it just died on me yesterday. Of course, Samsung was no help because the warranty has expired on it. I am very angry and dissatisfied with Samsung products because they have proven to be crap -- and have a comically short shelf life. This breakdown comes only two months on the heels of my Samsung range breaking down and having to be serviced. All of my products were purchased at the same time (microwave, fridge, range) -- now I can look forward to having costly repair bills into the unforeseeable future. Im dreading the inevitable breakdown of my refrigerator soon. As expensive as Samsung appliances are, I just expected for them to last a lot longer before needing servicing -- say maybe 5-10 years. My previous Kenmore products lasted over 10 years without needing repairs. I will definitely not be purchasing anymore Samsung products! And their customer service sucks -- they should honor their products for a lot longer than 1 year. Oh yeah... they offered me a Protection Plus plan for $288 -- I can buy a new microwave for that price!

The defrost heater shorts out and is not operational, numerous issues with the main control board and the reprogrammed and updated replacements, poor design and engineering requiring design modifications in the field, water and ice systems freeze up, do not work and do not dispense. Overall, Samsung service is unresponsive and basically not knowledgeable. Their design and engineering groups dont have a clue. Most recent repair included the installation of new and upgraded main panel which was to resolve all the problems. Issue is that after the installation of three separate new and improved and reprogrammed panels only some of the issues were addressed and the reprogramming actually caused other problems. The original main board panel that came with my refrigerator is long gone, no longer manufactured. The replacement panel has a new set of issues including that other basic functions were not programmed into the new main panel design. So for example, for the refrigerator and freezer to operate I have lost several functions such as the light in the freezer compartment. This item for example was never programmed into the newest control panel. I was told this directly from the tech rep at Samsung and the repair folks. Keep in mind my French door refrigerator that cost over two thousand dollars and is less than four years old is a mush mash of parts and accessories. The main panel has been replaced several times and three separate panels were required to be able, installed this time just to get to a point that the refrigerator functioned and the defrost heater assembly had voltage to operate. Keep in mind that I now have a refrigerator that have systems that cannot function because the main board was not properly programmed and Samsung does not seem to care. They wont even return a phone call and customer service is a joke. One more thing. I was with the service person the entire time that my refrigerator was being worked on. If I ever hear one more time the senior service technician from Samsung tell the onsite servicing rep let me tell you off the record what you should do I will scream!! The senior service tech at Samsung confirmed that there was a serious issue with the freezing and rupturing of the water vessels on the interior rear wall of the refrigerator compartment. He indicated that Samsung has failed to address this issue with a repair or service bull item as it would basically acknowledge that there indeed is a design and operational flaw in the unit. Off the record, the onsite rep was told to go out and get a thin piece of closed cell foam and place it between the water vessel and rear wall of the refrigerator compartment as some other site repair folks have found that to be the resolution to the vessel freezing and rupturing issue.” Well I will close out my comments for now, but will likely be writing again as the refrigerator has problem after problem and Samsung is unable to effectively resolve the issues. By the way, since my refrigerator, which is less than four years old is out of warranty, and I have had to pay for all the repairs myself, the cost to date now exceeds the original cost of the unit. The unit was about $2,300.00 and with the latest partial fix adding another $420,00, I am into this great product to the tune of over $4,800.00. No help from Samsung here!! Looking for a new refrigerator now and certainly would like to see Samsung step up and make this right and cut me a refund check for the $4,800.00 I have invested so far. Maybe they should also take into account the spoiled food and inconvenience to my family while they are at it. Dont Buy Samsung Products!!

Purchased Samsung Refrigerator in April of 2019, by Sept of 2019 freezer stopped working, a week later refrigerator stopped working. Called samsung and they sent out 2 different repair places, first one told us it was a sealed system and they did not work on those. Called Samsung back and asked them to replace the refrigerator they said they would have to try to repair first and unless there was a second problem that came up they would not replace it. Well that second problem was the refrigerator stopped cooling, I placed a thermometer that I purchased in refrigerator and took pictures, of temperature. The thermometer said 48 degrees while Samsung digital readout said it was 34 degrees. We lost over $400 dollars with of food and we see that Samsung will possibly reimburse up to $200 (maybe). Second repair person came out and said that he could not fix problem today that he would have to order parts which would take 3-5 days to get then schedule another appointment to do a temporary fix, he said he would recharge the system and then when we saw a temperature change of 10 degrees to call them and they would send a tech back out to attempt to find the leak. He stated that once they found the leak they would have to order parts and schedule another appointment to fix said it could take 2-3 weeks. All he did was take down serial number and model number never even checked out to see if he could find a problem. I called Samsung back and they did their Usual BS trying to get me to wait on repairs that could take another 2-3 weeks. I told her how about I come to your house and take your refrigerator away and you have nothing to store food in would that be an inconvenience. She said I understand your frustration but there is nothing I can do. I asked to speak to supervisor and she finally approved to replace the refrigerator said it would take approximately 7-14 days to get a replacement. Their Customer service Sucks. The refrigerator is a POS. I will never purchase any Samsung Products no matter what From here on out. Save yourself the headache and stress of having to deal with them and buy anything but Samsung. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON SAMSUNG APPLIANCES!!!! THIS PRODUCT DOESNT EVEN DESERVE 1 STAR RATING!!!! But unable to give it a negative rating.

I purchased the Samsung RF217ACBP refrigerator two years ago from Sears. Slowly over time the ice maker is making less and less ice (a few ice wedges per day). Over the last two months, we have been getting water collecting in the bottom of the crisper drawers every day. Changed humidity settings on the crisper drawers and varied the temp setting of the refrigerator to no avail. Refrigerator is out of warranty so Im not willing to spend large sums of money to have service repair of the unit. From what I am reading, this may not even result in a permanent fix of the problems. Will empty the unit tomorrow and try the troubleshooting ideas I found online. I wouldnt recommend this refrigerator to anyone.

We just bought this refrigerator in December 2013 and in July (only 7 months later) the refrigerator side stopped cooling. I called customer service on July 26th. They gave suggestions over the phone and told me to wait 24 hrs to see if it worked. It didnt. I was then given a different number to schedule the repair. I waited a week for parts and a tech to come. We went on vacation and came back and found out that the problem was not resolved. I called customer service again on Aug 6th and a resolution specialist contacted the tech and they told me they will contact me the next day to schedule a repair. Aug 9th, no phone call from them. Once again, I called them and now they advise to start the whole process of ordering parts and scheduling the tech to come in who knows when. What a sour experience this has been.

I had this Samsung bottom freezer refrigerator less than 4 years when things started to go wrong. First, the refrigerator part started to freeze all the vegetables in the vegetable bin. Then the freezer part just stopped working . The alarm bells did not go off or any other signs until I could smell the food that started to go bad (this was in the garage). I am so disappointed in Samsung that I will never buy another appliance from them again. Never!

Bought two fridges. Within 4 months water was accumulating on the bottom of the fridge compartment in one then the second one did same at six months... Replaced fridge fan on both since ice buildup damaged both units... Replaced heater elements on both as they both failed, replaced PC board main on both as well as PC inverter board. One is running. Other has died again with the user-control-and-display-board having failed along with freezer fan failure. Now has burnt insulation smell and no power to interior lights. Repairman was stumped. Considering using these appliances as anchors. Never had so much trouble and spent so much on two fridges. Worthless. Samsung should stick to making phones.

It is now time for me to replace both appliances as they are falling apart and do not work properly. I have called Samsung customer service several different occasions. They are not helpful. Youre on hold for 20 minutes to be told you need to call another number. I feel as though they should stick to making stereos and televisions. Thats all theyre good for. This service request on a new fridge was a nightmare. Thier service company OMB/friends tek is so unprofessional. They called me to schedule time. Hung up on me the first time. They did not call back, but put in notes that I hung up on them. When I called back, waited on hold 45 mins. Then was disconnected. Called back. Waited 30 more minutes. They pressed que to leave a message. I got a message that voicemail was full and told me to try my call later. They tried again to call me 2 days later. I called right back and went through the same scenario. 3rd time they called, I answered and was able to s he duke a service call 1 week later. This whole time I have been calling Samsung customer service with no resolution. They in fact, said they also could not get through to the repair vendor and I should keep trying.Day of appointment- I get a text from Tech telling me he will be there in 4 hour window. I asked if he had a slide protector for the floor (which is standard issue for appliance delivery and repair, and what the installers used). He said no. He told me if to have the fridge moved out away from cabinet before he got here. I advised I could not do that as it was too heavy. He advised me to reach out to place I purchased as he would not move. He only replaces parts or repairs. I contacted Samsung, who again could not help and advised me to contact Home Depot.I contacted Home Depot and explained the situation. They sent out a manager with slide pads and he moved fridge out and placed slide pads under the fridge. Repair tech came out. He showed up in an unmarked personal vehicle with another man with no uniform. How unprofessional. All he wanted to talk about was how he was not going to be responsible for property damage. We determined what the issue was, which turned out to be an installation issue. We also purchased a dishwasher with this fridge. We spent over $4000 and this has been one of the worst experiences I have had with a purchase. Samsungs failure to respond appropriately and ongoing issues with this vendor(as referenced in online reviews) will cause me to never buy a Samsung product again (we also have 2 Samsung TV’s).

I would never purchase or recommend a Samsung appliance again after our experience with our Samsung refrigerator that we purchased in Fall 2013. After owning the refrigerator for ~9 months, I began to notice water accumulating under the deli drawer. I thought it might just be normal and cleaned it up every month or so. Around 15 months after purchase, I noticed the water accumulating more often and to a greater degree. Water would spill out of the fridge when we opened the doors (sometimes sheets of ice). I called Samsung and the refrigerator was not under warranty any longer.Over a period of the next 9 months, Samsung sent out 3 different repair companies. None of the companies could fix the problem. Water and ice continued to accumulate, spilling all over the floor whenever the fridge was opened. Large amounts of mildew grew due to the moisture. The fridge had to be shop-vacuumed monthly to clean out all of the water. After Samsung telling us that there was nothing else that they could do, we finally purchased a new refrigerator from a different manufacturer. We moved the fridge to our garage and it is now going to have to be hauled away due to the continual growth of mildew due to the water accumulation problem. We are so frustrated that we spent $2000+ on this refrigerator and it cannot even be used in our garage!

Im very disappointed with the product and upset at the lack of customer service and support. I purchased a refrigerator from Home Depot (22.5 cu ft food showcase french door, in stainless model # RF23HTEDBSR) and 110 days after purchase the unit failed. The first call to Samsung Service resulted in a technician coming out 5 days later and within minutes it was determined that the compressor and evaporator coil had failed. After 12 weeks, they failed. He was unable to repair and told me parts would be in next week.I found this unacceptable, that a nearly $3,000 unit would fail after 12 weeks and I would be without use of refrigeration for several weeks while waiting for repair. I had food that spoiled but more importantly for me and my family, had no use of fridge or freezer for weeks. I called Samsung service again to ask if something could be done and was told the system was down and could they call me back. I have yet to receive that callback. The transaction number is **. The unit was a lemon, I deserve a new unit or my funds returned. The inconvenience of this episode continues to rob me of time and has insured I will do my best to avoid Samsung products in the future. The poor customer service reflects poorly on the entire company.

Bought a Samsung oven range at Lowes with a rating of 5 stars and had it delivered (I thought it was an extremely great deal at 100 or so dollars below cost). Do not know who is doing the rating? After delivery I followed the directions precisely as my old stove was extremely old and conventional. I turned on the oven as directed and immediately noticed the continual clicking. Like I stated, my old stove was way outdated and thought maybe this was some sort of break in issue. Then the smell was horrible (HORRIBLE). I then opened every window and door and turned on the central air (it was off due to the weather being about 70 or so degrees outside) and put my dogs outside. I did this for hours, about 5 approximately. I then did not feel comfortable cooking with it but went ahead anyways. I put in a pan of buffalo wings. After the cook time I pulled them out and had no intention of eating them due to the ongoing smell, but found them burnt on top and undercooked underneath. I then decided to make a rice dish and turned the left burner on. It got extremely hot and within a minute. I was impressed honestly until I then turned the burner down to 2 to simmer. It stayed extremely hot!!! Glowing red! I then shut the burner off but the surface heat light stayed on and heat was still radiating for at least a half hour after. At this point I was scared of the stove!!! It was no longer clicking but was very hot and lights were still on although all burners had been off for at least 30 minutes. I decided to open the oven door and brought in a box fan and pointed it towards the open door and turned my Air Conditioning down to 68 degrees. I did not even dare to pull the stove out and unplug it as it was still so hot!!! Oven and stove were radiating, and heat surface lights were on although all units were turned off. After an hour or two (left the room) I came back to find the lights off and it still very warm but off. I then called Samsung and never got through! Called Lowes but it was after hours and no results. Now, I then had a family emergency and death in the family. I then tried cooking on the range Friday (got the range on Sunday remember). Long story short I got the same results and saw the 17 pages of Consumer Affairs issues, so I decided to document my issues and take still photos and video. After all this Lowes (my local store) did not hesitate to offer me a replacement stove. I had no problem with that and it was very fair although they would not pull the range from the floor and I demanded they do so! I insisted it was an extreme fire hazard and they did not disagree but did not comply either, so I called corporate. They did not agree either so I told them I would be filing a grievance and possible suit as well as calling the local investigative reporter. It is now a day later and have not been to the store. Again, tired from all this and my family emergency and death. I can only hope these ranges are no longer being sold. I also took still photos and video of the range burning for at least 40 minutes and heat warning lights on without any stove or oven turned on. YES I REPEAT.... THE RANGE WAS BURNING FULLY HOT WITHOUT ANY FEATURE TURNED ON!!! THAT WAS FOR OVER 40 MINUTES! PHOTOS AND VIDEO OF MY RANGE FULLY BURNING WHILE TURNED OFF. DO NOT BUY A SAMSUNG RANGE!!!

It leaks, and Samsung is refusing to replace it. Dont believe their warranties, they will try their hardest to get out of actually doing anything. It failed with a LE code and a puddle of water. We called the same day, and the earliest the Samsung-contracted repair tech could come was a week later. Samsung doesnt contract with a real repair company, its something called General Appliance and Insurance Service. The tech showed up with no parts and almost no tools, and in a tiny car that couldnt haul a dishwasher. He pronounced that while he could see evidence of water (dried soap residue), he didnt see any water, so there was nothing he could do. Never mind that we live in a desert and it had been a week since it leaked. We got on the phone with 1-800-Samsung, who transfers you to Executive Service, which is the call center where they tell you jokes before giving you nothing. I told ** that the tech had been unable to find the leak and made no repairs. Given that nothing had been fixed on the unit, I said it would leak again and asked for a replacement unit. ** refused. He said it has to leak three times before they will replace it. The next day, it leaks again. We call it in, and now were waiting for the tech to come out and do nothing again, knowing weve got at least one more round of this circus before I can throw this piece of trash into their truck and get a decent dishwasher.

I bought a Samsung Over-The-Range Microwave from Lowes in February 2010. I just found out I need the keypad replaced. The warranty ran out in February. I called Samsung and they said there is nothing they can do because the warranty has expired. They have already been out once while the microwave was still under warranty. The cost of the repair is about $260. I tried to explain to them that even though the microwave is no longer under warranty, I would think a $400 microwave would last longer than 18 months. She said I am eligible for a new one if they have to fix the same issue twice within a year. That doesnt really matter to me since I would have to pay to have it fixed twice. She didnt understand this concept and could not get past the fact that the warranty had expired. Now I have 2 options: get it fixed or buy a new one. I would just like for a company for once to stand behind their product. I dont think an 18 month life expectancy is what they had in mind. Especially since the last cheap microwave I had lasted 15 years without incident.

The unit still only makes crushed ice because it is a design flaw and with every glass of cubed ice you get about 30% of crushed ice. My elderly parents bought this refrigerator and after thirteen months began having issues. They would send someone out but it would be 2 weeks. I told them of their health issues, my dad is a heart patient and diabetic and we really needed something pretty quick. I was also told from customer service you should always have a back up refrigerator. I asked, Who could afford two refrigerators, and where would you put two? The tone got worse and then I was just pretty much angered with his non-caring attitude. Not to mention that only very few technicians are certified to do a service call. I called Sears and they generously offered 3 days sooner. Very honest and tried to offer other options to try such as unplugging the unit for 2 days in case it had froze up, before spending money my parents did not have on their fixed income. We were never told to try anything from Samsung, to maybe save the expense to a sick, elderly couple. I was told that the minimum amount would be around $685.00 for the visit. Needless to say, we took his advice to unplug the unit for 2 days then restart. At least Sears tried to offer an alternative for us. Have lost food/beverages twice, still no refrigerator/ice maker, etc. Enough air flowing to not be eligible for warranty for a big part such as compressor, etc. Will probably be replaced ASAP b/c that is more than half the price it cost to begin with. After two weeks, they are living from a dorm size refrigerator and a Yeti cooler for ice. With their customer service, me along with my parents are done with Samsung. Sad to say on reviews on this particular type, they are messing up at about the 13-month mark. There is no excuse for a nice, new refrigerator to tear up with barely over a year of use. Never again! Very frustrated, not to mention the anguish my parents are going through. When you buy something that expensive, you expect it to last a while. I have had my Kenmore side-by-side for almost 20 years so we have learned a lesson. But the main lesson is all about the attitude you give the person on the other end of that phone. Try to be a little sympathetic to an elderly persons situation Samsung! Going to try to find another one after their check comes the first of the month. Another several days.

Purchased my gas range 3 years ago. Paint on bottom of oven has blistered and starting to rust and also spider like cracks. Contacted Samsung and wont do anything saying its physical damage. Yeah like l did it. Haha. Dont purchase these expensive products. They are garbage and dont stand behind defective products. No wonder our landfills are full. Its due to companies like this who make products that dont last. I remember having appliances for over 25 years and only got rid of them because the color went out. And they didnt get dumped because they still worked and were passed onto the needy.

Second time I have had a problem with the microwave. Fan runs non-stop and will not heat anything. Samsung will not do anything. They only offered a protection plan that costs more than the microwave did new. I purchased an entire suite of Samsung appliances when I moved into my new home. Have had problems with all four of them. I will never buy another Samsung product again. I work in a Day Spa that has over 300 clients through it in a week and I will make sure everyone knows about the issues I have had with Samsung products. I have a daughter that is an Interior Designer and she will never recommend the products again. My other daughter is a Realtor and she will be informing all her clients of my problems. My new mission in life is to make sure everyone know what poor quality Samsung has in service and products. If you read this PLEASE do not make my mistake. I took the extended warranty on the big four door fridge. The ice maker freezes up every two months even with biweekly cleaning. Takes the company at least three (3) weeks to get here to repair it. The only answer is to not buy this product. Friends dont let friends buy Samsung. Dont buy Samsung!!!

I purchased a Samsung 30 inch 5 burner free standing 5.8-cubic ft free standing self cleaning convection gas range model # NX583G0VBSR from Lowes. The oven temp is off by 50-80 deg. I have had the probe replaced twice and the board replaced once. Every time after the new parts are installed it heats up to the right temp but takes 30 minutes to do so. But then the next time I go to use it, the problem reappears. I am out of warranty but the repairs were initiated while it was under warranty so you must ask for the warranty to be extended, also you must ask for parts and service. (1-800-726-7864) The first question they ask is if I have used the self clean feature, I have not. The tech also asked that question. I asked him if there was a problem with the self cleaning feature and he said there was and that the temp gets to high and destroys the probe, so I guess the self cleaning feature that I bought is no longer an option on my range. I now have another repair tech coming to replace the board and probe again. If this fails I am going to try to get the range replaced. I would not recommend a Samsung product as we have had repairs to our fridge and tablet. I thought these products were high quality but I guess I was wrong.

Last year, I bought an expensive top-of-the-line Samsung dishwasher. I thought this would be the best dishwasher I ever had. Boy, was I wrong. When my 15-year-old Sears Kenmore dishwasher died, it was doing a better job on dishes than this brand new $1000+ dishwasher. If I dont wash my dishes before I put them in, I have to wash them when I take them out. And they are never dry when they come out. I always have to dry them. My floor around my dishwasher is always wet because the dishes drip water when I take them out. And if I put 5 glasses in the top, 4 of the glasses have debris inside them when I take them out. I have to wash them again. Do not buy Samsung dishwashers. A used Kenmore will do a better job. I cant wait for this thing to break so I can get rid of it. What a piece of junk.

Ice maker is junk! After warranty, no one will work it. Tech came out, once he saw it was a Samsung, he refused to work on it and left! Their TVs seem to be good but would never recommend a Samsung refrigerator. Just waiting for the refrigerator to stop, then buy a Kitchenaid.
