Samsung Washer Model OBX WW25B6900AW-A2 Error Codes

CODE: LO or FL
PROBLEM: Door lock error
FIX: Check the wiring connections to the door lock/switch, and tighten if needed. Forcing the door open might damage the door lock / switch, which is often made of plastic. However, it is simple to replace and much less expensive than calling a technician.

CODE: ds
PROBLEM: Door is not locked
FIX: If the washer won't start, the ds code might appear, signaling that the washer door is open and the lock is malfunctioning. Use the diagnostic test mode to check the door lock / switch assembly. If that shows the lock is defective, replace it.

CODE: dc
PROBLEM: Unbalanced load
FIX: The dc code means the load has been detected as unbalanced during the final spin. Cancel the cycle, or just let it end. Redistribute the load, and re spin.

CODE: Sud (F70)
PROBLEM: Too many suds
FIX: Allow the suds to settle, and move to the spin cycle. Rewash the clothes using no detergent, and then clean your washer.

CODE: lE
PROBLEM: Water level sensor failure
FIX: First, unplug the washer, and check the wire harness connections between the water level sensor and the main control board. If the IE code still appears after plugging the washer back in, the water level pressure sensor should be replaced.

CODE: nF
PROBLEM: Water fill problem
FIX: Check that the water supply faucets behind the washer are fully open and kink free. The lines can also freeze if the washer is exposed to low temperatures. The code might also appear if the water inlet fill valves are defective and need replacement.

CODE: LE
PROBLEM: Low water level during cycles
FIX: Water level drops can be caused by leaks in the washer tub or an improperly installed drain line, which can siphon water out of the washer. Reinstall the drain line, and try filling again.

CODE: OE
PROBLEM: Overflow or too high water levels
FIX: A washer that is overfilled is usually caused by water inlet valves that are not shutting off the water flow properly. Replace the water inlet valve assembly.

CODE: nF1
PROBLEM: Hot and cold water lines are reversed
FIX: Connect the hot and cold water fill hoses correctly on the back of the washer.

CODE: tE
PROBLEM: Water temperature is either too high or too low
FIX: Run the diagnostic test mode to check the water temperature that the control board is sensing. If the actual temperature is significantly different, the temperature sensor or thermistor should be replaced.

CODE: nd
PROBLEM: Water will not drain
FIX: If the washer fails to drain within fifteen minutes, check the washer drain filter and drain hose for a clog or restriction. If the drain pump is defective or damaged, replace it.

CODE: E2
PROBLEM: Stuck key on control board
FIX: Try to free the key by gentle force. If you can't free the key, replace the user interface control board (also called the sub PCB control board).

CODE: 3E
PROBLEM: No signal from the drive motor tachometer
FIX: Unplug the washer. Check the wire harness connections on the drive motor and the electronic control board. If the wiring connections are sound, the drive motor or the tachometer usually needs to be replaced.

CODE: 2E
PROBLEM: Internal control board failure
FIX: Unplug the washer for five minutes to reset the electronic control board. Plug the washer back in. If the code returns, replace the electronic control board.

CODE: AE
PROBLEM: Communication error between the main PCB and sub PCB in the control panel
FIX: Check the wire harness connections between the PCB control boards in the control panel. If the wiring connections are sound, replace one or both of the control boards.

CODE: SF
PROBLEM: Main PCB error
FIX: Unplug the washer for five minutes to reset the electronic control board. Plug the washer back in. If the code returns, replace the electronic control board.

CODE: Hr
PROBLEM: Heater relay failure
FIX: The heater relay is a component on the main PCB control board. Unplug the washer for five minutes to reset the main PCB control board. Plug the washer back in. If the code returns, replace the main PCB control board.

These refrigerator/appliances were advertised as black stainless steel and they are simply Black Shrink Wrapped. Have had my fridge for 3 years and am embarrassed when company comes over. Recently purchased a high end dishwasher and had to chose a different brand. I do love the black, but unless Samsung chooses to find a paint, replace the door or find another way to make this fridge look as advertised, I can no longer recommend Samsung black stainless products. Samsung has made no attempt at a resolve. Why advertise black stainless when it is a film that is applied and peels off in creases, near handles, folds and edges. I have several areas of peeling that began a year after purchase. Requested a paint from the company and was told there was none available nor would a paint be available. Probably because shrink wrap is not paint.

I have a Samsung refrigerator, only 2 years old. It has the same problem that so many seem to have of ice and water building up under and in the crisper bins. I have had it fixed 3 times, and the problem persists. I wish I would have read these reviews before purchasing. It was a waste of money. I will never buy from Samsung again.

So we purchased this refrigerator on May 29, 2017. We were so excited about this since we had done a lot of homework and research and this seemed like it would fit our needs. After delivering the refrigerator we noticed that the ice maker was noisy but what the heck, this wasnt a deal breaker. Then the fun really began. On October 12, less than 4-1/2 months later the ice maker went out. They came out promptly and replaced the ice maker with a new one and everything was fine UNTIL February 22, 2018 (again around 4 months later) the ice maker quit working again... So another technician came out and told us that the refrigerator needed to be exchanged. He gave us an exchange number and told us someone would call us within 24-48 hours. (I have learned to HATE that comment). We waited and no one called so I called the company service department and they asked me for some numbers off of the purchase ticket. They told me that they were waiting on this information in order to expedite the exchange. My response was why didnt you call. Anyway, I gave them the information they were looking for (we had purchased the refrigerator at Sears). Samsung informed me that they would call me back within 24-48 hours. Guess what. They didnt. So, I called them again and asked what the problem was now. They informed me that they were waiting on more information and that as soon as they had it they would start processing the claim. This has been going on for almost a month now. Thursday 3/8/18 I turned it over to my husband and he contacted the NJ office and was told that we COULDNT get a exchange but we could get a refund, minus the sales tax and that they would respond in (wait for it) 24-48 hours. We never received a call so I called them back today on 3/13 and was informed that they had it in the file and I explained to the first person that I didnt want a refund, less the sales tax because I couldnt replace the refrigerator with that. She informed me that she was sorry, seriously, who cares. But I told her that we needed an exchange and I wanted to speak to her supervisor. She came back on the line and told me that she could give me the refund PLUS the sales tax and I informed her that I could not replace the refrigerator for that. I asked to speak to HER supervisor. Let me say that it is almost impossible to speak to a supervisor of any kind. These people have a script and they do not deviate from it. I was finally able to speak to supposedly a manager who simply stated the same thing she was sorry but they couldnt do an exchange but she could get me back my sales tax plus the purchase price.I told her that I didnt want my money back because I could not replace the refrigerator and it wasnt my fault that it was a LEMON. She again went through the Samsung Party Line and I told her that I wanted to talk to her supervisor. She told me that she was it and I explained that I then wanted to speak to the person that SHE has to answer to. Guess what... She told me that no one could do anything better than this BUT if I wanted she would have someone return my call wait for it in the next 24 to 48 hours. Hmmm. What are the chances. Just some food for thought here. I have never experienced such horrible Customer Service in my life. Very few of the people speak English and it is almost virtually impossible to understand them. They absolutely refuse to let you speak to anyone else and just continue on with Im sorry and I can help you with that, but they can not help me so why do they continue to do so. It is the most frustrating experience and it will literally make you crazy. I totally refuse to give up and if necessary I will contact the media outlets AND social media to get this resolved... This is absolute BS.

We purchased a Samsung refrigerator model # RF28HMEDBSR/AA on 4/11/17. Worked great for 14 months and then ice maker stopped working. Of course warranty was out for 2 months when this happened. Had ice maker completely replaced, then 8 months after replacement it stopped working again! This time only the auger motor had to be replaced as no ice would come thru the chute...repairman replaced and till no ice. He had to return this week and had to replace the auger motor again as the one installed last week was broken! This is a total of 4 auger motors on this refrigerator in less than 2 years. For the cost of this appliance we feel this is totally unacceptable. Will never purchase a Samsung refrigerator again!

Samsung refrigerator RF217ACBPXAA - I purchased a Samsung refrigerator less than 2 years ago. Water accumulated in the vegetable and fruit bins. A repairman came and fixed the problem. One month later, it happened again. A repairman came and fixed it, but said he couldnt say that it wouldnt happen again. Freezing occurs and clogs the water from making ice, therefore backing up and coming into the bins. Less than 2 weeks later, it happened again. Samsung says that the repairman has to state that it cannot be repaired for them to take another course of action. I searched online and found this to be a problem with many. I am considering a class action suit. Please advise.

Bought this Samsung dishwasher DW80F800UWS only 6 months ago and have had to call 3 times for servicing for various issues. The first was a broken door latch, second was noises from the pump and not cleaning correctly and finally it stopped draining. For the cost of this dishwasher, there are way too many issues. I will say that Samsung does send a tech out promptly but that doesnt alleviate the frustration of having to call them so many times for repairs in such a short time frame. I wouldnt recommend this dishwasher.

I gave this product a 1 star rating because you don’t have the option of rating it any lower. My wife and I bought a Samsung French door refrigerator with freezer on bottom, and started having problems with it after only two months of owning it. It started filling up with water under the deli drawer, it would then freeze up into a block of ice making it difficult if not impossible to open the drawer and then start to spill water all over the floor. When we called Samsung we were basically told to call a repair person, and pay to have it looked at after we just paid $1700.00 for it and we had it less than 4 months. So much for standing behind their products. If you buy a Samsung product after reading this, and many other reviews just like this one you must have more money than brains. Samsung IS NOT the reputable company they want you to believe they are.

I bought a Samsung Refrigerator with cold water dispenser, ice maker & deli tray drawer (Model # RF 267ABRS) in June 2009. It is 7 years old and, to its credit, it keeps food cold enough (set at 36 degrees) and has never needed a repair - but I wouldnt buy another one.My chief complaint is the darn replacement filters because: (1) they a pain to install (I am not strong enough to apply the necessary torque that is needed to remove & install the filters so my husband has to do that part) and you have to remove one of the shelves which means taking all of the food off and putting it all back, (2) it takes 2 people to change a filter because the new filters must have water run through them for 5 long minutes, so one person stands there holding a hose and funnel up to the water dispenser while the other person holds the other end of the hose over the sink for the water to drain, and (3) the filters are sealed units so you cant clean them yourself and they have to be replaced twice per year at about $50 a pop (although I just found that Amazon has them for about $37). So far we have spent $670 on replacement filters - on top of the $2500 we paid for the fridge. This is nuts. Also, the white plastic trim on the shelves is beginning to get marked up and there doesnt seem to be any way to remove the marks. The stainless steel exterior, the only kind they had in stock when my old fridge died, holds fingerprints and requires continual cleaning. And the ice maker does leak although we found if we remove the ice holding bucket and push the ice toward the rear (away from the door dispenser) before putting it back in, it stops the leaking - until the next time you use ice dispenser. Poor design. In all, this refrigerator requires too much maintenance, too much hassle and considerable ongoing expenses. Ill buy something else next time.

I bought a $1,300 Samsung side-by-side refrigerator from Conns. I had it 6 months, it quit making ice and sounds like an airplane is about to take off! I have had the ice maker and the entire back of the ice maker replaced 3 times in 2 years. My warranty ran out, now Im stuck with this $1,300 piece of crap. Conns told me to call Samsung, well thats a laugh. They tell me to call Conns because when they shipped it out, it was perfect. Conns says they arent to blame. Well I guess Im to blame for buying this beautiful refrigerator that on the inside is a piece of crap. Now Im stuck with a 2-year old refrigerator that doesnt make ice and sound like an airplane in my kitchen. Thanks Samsung for your crappy service.

Terrible customer service!!! Spent almost 4k on this refrigerator specifically for the Pandora app to listen to music in the kitchen. It stopped working once Samsung issued an update. Its been 4 months now with nothing working. Some people are going on a year with this same issue. We are past the 30-90 day warranty with the department store where these were purchased so now we are stuck.

I purchased my Samsung Refrigerator only a year and a half ago and it started to make a loud noise. Had it serviced and the service professional advised it was a build up of ice in the mechanisms causing the fan to not spin properly. He advised this was a fault of the POOR DESIGN and that it would continue to have this issue! I have been online looking for solutions to this issue that would be less costly than engaging a repair man each time and found hundreds of videos by Samsung refrigerator owners who are experiencing the same issue. Tell me why a company would continue to build a product and sell it to the public KNOWING it has a critical fault. I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER SAMSUNG PRODUCT. I have no confidence in the companys ability to build products. Not one refrigerator should have left their warehouse after they realized the fault in the engineering. I had a Whirlpool for 15 years and NEVER once had it repaired.

Recently we converted our less than six month old our entire upgraded GE kitchen appliances to Samsung Black Stainless Steel at roughly $6,500. In spite of the cost we have always had success with the product brand including TVs, cell phones, tablets, appliances you name if Samsung makes it we buy it. However the dishwashers has been less than acceptable not to mention most disappointing. Besides being noisy theres always standing water after a complete cycle. If unattended the odor of spoiled or soiled smelling water its all but unbearable. No problem. We contacted the local Samsung authorized technician to make a house call and repairs or adjustment. After a half hour he said everything was in working order and the accumulation of the standing water was normal... I quote its needed to prime the pump... That of course is BS!First thing when you start the washer is WATER! Subsequently and after filing a complaint with customer service which I might add are nothing more than pimple face robots sitting in front of computers that reply from canned presentations. Eventually and after some persistence our complaint was sent to another department and after waiting three or so weeks we get a call back saying they are sending us a complete refund. Once again my faith is restored with Samsung; but its not to be! After a few more weeks the promised call back never came so we reached out to their customer service and once again we got a runaround with the pending refund. But today we get a call from the department that makes the final decision telling us it was a mistake and the problem is considered maintenance not covered under their normal warranty... Mind you we are talking about a product that was less than three weeks old. Their (CR) mannerism with a response was being read not communicated like in a normal conversation; most disappointing to say the least. The CR kept repeating the same verbiage word for word over and over several times. Before I wrote this review I did some research and discovered besides Samsung - Bosch and Whirlpool they share this common problem. Their recommendation is adding vinegar and lemon juice in the dishwasher or you can buy a cleaner/chemical specific for dishwashers to control odors; expect to pay around $12-$13. So Samsung potential dishwashers buyers beware!

We love the microwave when its working properly. Its only 4 years old and has failed three times. Each repair was easy and cheap once diagnosed. 1) Heard beeps during the night. Eventually beeped more often and left the dreaded SE error code. Called Samsung support and they suggested unplugging the unit and plug back in after a few minutes. Effectively they were telling me to reboot it. That didnt work. Found YouTube video with the fix for this problem. The ribbon cable connecting to the touchpad goes over a sharp metal edge frame of the control panel and vibration from fan operation eventually rubs through the cable causing a short. The fix was simple and only took about 20 minutes. I put a piece of electrical tape on the sharp metal edge and voila, no more beeping and no more SE error code. Samsung should have put a piece of slit PVC tubing on the sharp edge and this would never happen. Design problem! Cost to fix = price of two inch strip of electrical tape. 2) Door would not stay closed when shut. Found another YouTube about this. Tiny plastic tang which one end of door latch tension spring attaches to broke off. Replaced it with a tiny #4 sheet metal screw. Took 15 minutes. Cost to fix one small screw already on hand.3) Microwave would not turn on. Online search implied could be faulty door microswitch. Testing with cheap VOM showed which of three microswitches was faulty but suspected the one that no longer clicked and rebounded when activated by finger pressure. Found exact factory replacement online for $5 with free shipping. Took less than a week to arrive. 20 minutes to diagnose and replace. Doubt that many homeowners would have attempted doing all these repairs on their own. Three service calls even with almost no parts cost would more than pay for a new microwave, most likely not Samsung LOL.

DW80f600uts - This dishwasher is a piece of crap. After a year or so of normal use, youll probably get a sensor error and itll stop working. To fix it, youll need to replace the sensor. Samsung customer service will be of little help, so youll have to do it yourself. The replacement sensor costs $40-$100, depending on where you live and who you buy it from. YouTube is filled with videos of how to fix this dishwasher, if thats any indication of how flaky it is. It looks nice, and its quiet. Those are the only good things I can say about it. The cleaning power sucks, and it deposits food on dishes. The drying cycle is a joke, as is the garburator or whatever the thing is called thats supposed to break down food (it doesnt). The dishwasher stinks after a day. There are many, many other dishwashers at the same cost that are much, much better than this one. Ours came with our house and its only two years old, so we fixed it instead of dumping it at the side of the road, which was what we really wanted to do. If/when it breaks again, were getting a Whirlpool. Save yourself the stress and avoid the hassle.

Discovered ice machine was not working properly on newly delivered refrigerator the first day in use. Contacted warranty division for repair and promised contact with 48 hrs. After 2 days without contact and again called warranty service. They reassigned repair ticket to another company. After another 4 days without contact I again called warranty division and was issued a new repair ticket number to yet another repair company. Was contacted by Samsung Tracking Service to check status of repair. Upon hearing that no contact had yet been made by repair company. Tracking Services said they would expedite repair order. After another 7 days without any other repair contact I contacted retailer (Home Depot) for return/refund. After hearing my story, agent put me on hold while she contacted assigned repair company who informed her that they had no record of repair ticket. She reissued ticket (under same number) and promised a quick contact from them. Ironically, a few hours later I was again contacted by Tracking Service inquiring as to the status of my repair. In our discussion she informed me that her records showed that the repair company had indeed received the repair ticket in the initial transmission and offered to put my case into the Samsung Resolution Department for review. As they were Samsung and has hired the (non-responsive) repair companies in question, I asked her to contact them to expedite. She proceeded to inform me that she was unable to contact their repair company on my behalf.I fail to understand what Samsungs definition of Customer Service could possibly be. They know theres a problem with your brand new Samsung Large Appliance. They know there are multiple failures (3) in their repair chain, they continue to ask you how is your repair going, but they refuse to actually step-in and take charge to resolve the problem. Instead, leaving their consumer to contend with the (obvious) dregs of the appliance repair world that theyve chosen to repair their products. Guess with everything in the recent news regarding Samsung guess I should be happy that my refrigerator hasnt blown up yet. The LAST Samsung product that will ever enter my home. Buyer beware!

I have been in touch with Samsung regarding my microwave since August 3, 2017. At first, they were going to send out a tech to look at it since it completely just stopped working. My microwave is less than a year old and under warranty. After three days without a call from a tech to schedule an appointment to come fix it I called Samsung back. I explained that no one has come by or called about fixing my microwave. The customer service rep said they would contact the company about coming out to repair it. I also asked for the companys number. After still not hearing from them I called the company myself. No one answered so I left a message. After another few days with no call back I called Samsung again and reported the issue. Next, the rep put me on hold and tried to contact the company with no success. That rep said they would keep trying and call me back. Finally, after more than 2 weeks without a working microwave a Samsung rep called stating that they did not have anyone that could repair it and would issue a refund. But of course, there is a catch! I had to supply a receipt that I no longer and had paid cash for the microwave so no bank record. Once I explained this they said they could still issue a refund but it would take 10 days of review and then they would send out an email to start the process for getting a refund. I am not a criminal nor am I trying to scam them. I would much rather have my microwave fixed than purchase another one. But that does not seem to be an option. I cannot understand why it would take 10 days for review. Also, the refund is going to be $37 less than what we paid. We have had other Samsung products that we have had to replace or repair. We replaced our dishwasher and our refrigerator need to be replaced. It has several issues. We will not be purchasing anymore Samsung products or recommending them! We finally just went ahead and purchased another microwave and have the Samsung sitting around waiting for the email about getting a refund. Samsung requires you to take a picture of it with the cord cut and the serial number. I get this procedure but I should not have to wait 10 days for an email in order to send this information in. It seems like a stall tactic to me. I am a service business owner and would never have a customer wait over a month for results!

This induction range/oven (FTQ307NWGX/XAA) was very a very expensive piece of equipment. It looks beautiful and high end, but its a useless piece of junk now and ready for the landfill. Samsung has discontinued making two parts that we need to fix the induction cooktop. The circuit boards blew up and there are no replacement parts being made. Samsung doesnt stand behind their products. They simply told us sorry. Sorry?! That stove was over $2000 and cannot be fixed! How irresponsible of Samsung! Not only is this bad for the consumer, but its bad for the environment! I understand that things break, but the fact that there are no parts being manufactured to fix it is inexcusable. I purchased a new refrigerator in June of 2016. The refrigerator was on back order and was received on July 2016, 1 month later. Purchased online from Best Buy. In December 2016 the refrigerator side stopped working. Called Samsung, ticket made, service ticket created, local repair sent to review. Tech said parts were needed and has received numerous calls on same issue. Fans seized and no cooling. When I purchased this refrigerator I felt it was to be a good 10 to 15 years before I would have any problems. My last fridge was a hand-me-down Frigidaire from my mom but felt I would go to a more futuristic appliance with bells and whistles. I was wrong. I have since lost over $400 dollars in spoiled groceries. I cannot use it because it does not cool. Lights are ice. I keep calling Best Buy and Samsung, and get the runaround. Samsung, ticket still open, parts in limbo. Best Buy wont accept it back since its past 45 days of original purchase. I still owe $1,200.00 on a $1,650.00 fridge.I wish I would have checked more reviews on these Samsung appliances. This is to warn others of what can happen to you if you do get such an appliance. Also to point out how Best Buy and Samsung support DEFECTIVE appliances. Samsung thumbs down. Sorry cant help you, is the answer. Best Buy thumbs down. Sorry not our problem after 45 days. Pay 3 times for service and maybe we replace it. Very disappointed with Best Buy on this enigma. Will hashtag this on Twitter and Facebook until I finish paying for it, and hopefully help some other sap from making the wrong purchase, and where NOT to purchase this item with no support or lemon law for defective products that should last at a minimal 5 to 10 years. Very disappointed.

Samsung RS265TDBP broken 2 different ways in 2 years - On the surface, this is a great refrigerator. Its pretty, its very quiet, its energy efficient and the ice maker fits nicely in the door, giving you more useful space in the freezer.Unfortunately, despite the price tag, its of very inferior quality (and I’ve seen more of the insides of this fridge than I’ve ever wanted to). The ice maker broke just before the 2-year mark (about $80 to buy a new one and install it yourself, although stores have trouble keeping them in stock, they break so fast) and not long after I got that done, the fridge starts making ugly noises, and then gets warm, above 55 degrees (freezer is still ice cold). I took the refrigerator cooling unit apart and removed huge chunks of ice to get it going again. But the refrigerator seems to be permanently messed up now (common problem if you Google, Samsung refrigerator not staying cold) and it wont get below about 44 degrees in the fridge.Im abandoning this $1,200 piece of junk after barely 2 years of service and buying a refrigerator from a reputable brand. I cant see spending another dime on it because research (and personal experience) seems to show that if I pay to fix it, it will probably just break again down the line.

My compressor went bad after 3 months after purchase. They will not replace, only fix. Already it has been 1 week with no refrigerator and lost money with spoiled food. It took a service tech 1 week to come out and see whats wrong with it. This is frustrating, to spend so much money for a product and for it to break so fast. I know things happen but do the right thing. Now to replace the compressor it will take 3 hours to do and another week for a service tech to come. FRUSTRATING.

This Samsung refrigerator is absolutely the worst on the market! We have spent more in repairs than the Refrigerator cost new. Starting with freezing up four times, to broken plastic parts, broken glass, and now a broken bottom freezer drawer. I would avoid at all cost. A pile of GARBAGE. If you could rate zero stars, that is what I would rate it.

Samsung Refrigerator Model # RF263AEBP, Serial # JJ054GBZ400358B, and date of purchase: 04-30-2010. On 3-21-12 on line chat with Samsung: I am having a problem with the middle vent holes inside of the back of the refrigerator frozen with ice. Also, the bottom of the inside of the refrigerator is full of water. I had the same problem back in September and I defrosted the vent holes with a hair dryer (like the Samsung customer service rep told us to), and we wiped up all the water but now the same thing happened again! Eventually it fills up and leaks on the floor! I had a local repair tech that just became an authorized Samsung dealer but he didnt know what the problem was and he couldnt get through to Samsung. My wife and I are very upset that this is happening since it is only 1-1/2 years old and we spent $1,143.84 to purchase it! It already did cost me $85.00 for the repair guy to come out and he couldnt do anything. Even though the warranty has run out, we dont feel that we should have to pay to have this repaired. Now, it is making loud/soft humming noise and I cant get the temperature inside the refrigerator lower than 53 degrees! Also, I just cleaned out all the water sitting inside the bottom again under the cool select pantry we have to do it once a month! It was going to take a Samsung tech several days before they could come out so I called another local repairman and he came out the next day. He spent a lot of time at my home and did figure out what was wrong. The back panel inside was completely frozen up. He had to order (2) parts and come back and replaced a defective inside heating element and also a new fan motor assembly because it burnt out from trying to run while frozen. His total charges came to $314.82. The repair was made on 04-12-12.Last week, the middle vent holes started freezing up again. I defrosted it with a hair dryer (which is what a Samsung customer service rep told me to do way back when I first started having the problem), but it started freezing up again this week. I am going to call the repairman I had out and discuss it with him. I’m thinking that the refrigerator is either not going into a defrost cycle enough times or the inside heating element isn’t sufficient to do the job or Samsung is selling defective parts. I will let you know what happens and how much more it is going to cost me. This has been a frustrating, ongoing ordeal for both my wife and I. After spending so much money, we expected to not have something like this happen for many years!

Samsung Flex duo range NE59J7750WS - I wish I would have found this site BEFORE I purchased this range. In theory, this was everything I wanted, replacing an 18-year old Maytag. Plugged this range in and the flex duo range doesnt work! Keeps showing error code C-20. Samsung said because we installed it that it wasnt covered under warranty. Nowhere in the literature does it say that. I called Sears and Samsung multiple times in two days. If I plugged it in and the rest of the machine works, its not me plugging it in wrong! Samsungs customer service, or lack thereof makes me wish I could return this and put my old rusty one back. Dont buy from Samsung! Especially if you plug it in yourself! How ridiculous! I feel like Ive wasted $800, and will need to purchase a simpler model in the future. I used to love Samsung, but this fiasco ensures I will no longer buy their products.

My husband and I purchased a Samsung refrigerator in August of 2015; it was not the most expensive refrigerator but it was far from the cheapest. About a month after the refrigerator was installed, we started hearing this really loud noise while the refrigerator was running, as if the refrigerator was a jet about to take off. The noise gradually got louder over time, so every time the refrigerator started running, we would hear this loud noise. The noise was so loud that we could not hear our television in the other room. I contacted Samsung about the concern and they sent out a technician who claimed the noise was normal for all Samsung refrigerators. After the technician left, I called Samsung to speak with a manager and the manager advised me to record the noise and call back; I did just this the same week. The representative at Samsung that listened to the recording of my refrigerator stated that the noise is not normal and that the compressor is going out and needs to be replaced along with a hose. I was told that day that these items were being ordered (this was approximately 2 months ago now). I have called several times to find out what is going on with the parts because no one has come by to install them. Samsung transfers me from person to person and department to department; the only answer I get is there is a ticket for the parts. No one can tell me what is going on and no one offers any assistance. Samsung appliances are by far the worst! Do not purchase Samsung appliances!!! We have a refrigerator, dishwasher, oven, microwave, washer and dryer all from Samsung and the only appliance that works properly is the oven!!! I will never again purchase anything from Samsung and I advise all others to run the other way! Their appliances are horrible and their customer service is even worse! They do not stand behind their warranty and will transfer you around until you either give up or they can claim its out of warranty so they no longer have to help.

Still under warranty, the touchpad was replaced by the technician. 7 to 8 months later, it occurred again - now out of warranty, we looked online. My husband followed the advice of others having the same problem and he unplugged and re-plugged the ribbon cable which worked. Now, about 6 more months and it started again. So he has added an additional piece of plastic behind the ribbon cable to improve the contact. For now it is working. I am very disappointed in Samsung quality and service.

The Samsung French doors, freezer on bottom refrigerator sometimes keeps things cold, and sometimes doesnt. The temperature read-out always, always says 37 degrees F, but thats not true. The compressor overheats causing ice build-up in the vents, causing the temperature to rise even though it still says 37 degrees! Food must be removed and the fridge thawed. This has happened multiple times over the course of three years! This is not just a one in a million lemon. This is a DEFECT that others have experienced, and Samsung is aware of it. Do not buy a Samsung refrigerator. You will regret it. The fridge was purchased in 2014 for a little more than $2,000. Waste of money.

I have a RFG29 Samsung French Door Refrigerator that is about 7-8 years old and no longer within warranty. We started having ice build up under the large slide-out crisper drawer that hindered getting the drawer to slide out. Called the Samsung US for help and the customer service person said it needed to be level - they explained when the screw down levels in front touched the floor, it was level. Of course that didnt work, so called back on a Thursday and another representative told me how to identify the error code on the control panel - that indicated a freezer evaporator defrost system failure. The rep then set me up with an afternoon service appointment for following Monday, and the service company would contact me to confirm the appointment. Was also told that a flat $120 fee would need to be prepaid. The repair service company called the next day and said their first available appointment time was the following Thursday between 1:00 and 5:00 - said the Samsung Customer service could only give me a preferred time, and not an actual appointment time since the local service company controlled their schedule. Also paid them the $120 fee via credit card. When Thursday afternoon came, I heard nothing and called Samsung Customer Service to find out what was going on. The Customer Service Rep checked and found that the first repair service had transferred the repair ticket to another repair service who quit doing business with Samsung the day before my scheduled service, and my ticket was transferred to a third repair service. The Rep gave me their name and number, and said they should contact me to schedule service. (I did check and found that my credit card had not been charged by the first repair service.) I checked reviews for the third repair service, and saw they were generally bad.I called a non-factory authorized repair service the next day (Friday) who came out that afternoon and immediately told me the problem had a factory service repair kit which they would install for a flat fee (suspect it was cheaper than Samsung) and warranty it for a year (think Samsung authorized service was either 30 or maybe 90 days). They ordered the part, came back the following Monday and installed the factory repair kit, and things seem to work fine. I never heard from the third Samsung authorized repair service. To top it off, I got a call from Samsung US Customer Service who wanted to know where I bought my refrigerator. Further, since Samsung could not provide a service tech, they would give us full credit toward a new replacement refrigerator. However, as my wife said, how are we supposed to shop for a refrigerator under COVID-19 lockdown? I told the Rep that I had the refrigerator repaired, and Samsung could pay the repair bill ($300) - the Rep then informed me since I didnt use an authorized Samsung repair service, Samsung would not pay for the repairs and also that I was no longer eligible for a replacement refrigerator! I politely (not) told her it would be a cold day in hell before I ever had another Samsung product. Subsequently, I received an email from Samsung canceling my repair ticket. At least I found what I consider a very good appliance repair shop locally.

I bought this refrigerator in the month of Jan and then in June and July the ice maker froze and stopped producing ice. I contacted the help desk and they said as it was in warrranty they will fix and raised a support ticket. Now the service center which they are hooked up gave me a service date of more than a month which means I wont be able to use it for a month. So spoke to them again and they hooked me to another which was supposed to come after 7 days, now I waited for them for 7 days. Stayed at home so that I dont miss them but no-one came to fix. Now I again chatted with support and same thing, We have prioritized your ticket and they will get back. No resolution. Then they give me another date of 13 days from the day I am posting this ticket. So in short Samsung doesnt have any control over their partners. So before buying their product do think about service as well.

My fridge did the same thing as been reported about these type refrigerators, the back panel freezes in fridge side and stops cooling fridge. After multiple times pulling back panel off and defrosting with a hair dryer, I did all my research online in forums and here was what I did to solve problem. I found out it was a fairly inexpensive defroster type electrical thing that clipped onto the defrost line behind the panel where the fridge side cooled, so I replaced it. When the fridge goes into defrost mode is when the pooling water problem happens, because the drain hole is frozen but if you take a piece of clothes hangar and wrap one end around the defrost line and allow the other end to drop into drain hole, it will heat up and keep drain hole from freezing. It has been working for about 4 years now without any problem, except only produces crushed ice.

About 6 months after purchasing and installing our OTR Samsung microwave, the popcorn setting began to burn up the bags of popcorn so we quit using that setting. Then roughly 8 months later (and after the warranty ran out) our microwave started to turn itself off and give an SE error message. After doing this for three or four times, the front panel just went out and never came back on regardless of our attempts to revive it.I went online and began to research the problem and it is very obvious that this is an inherent problem with Samsung OTR microwaves despite their previous top rating. And most of the reports state that the replacement costs are prohibitive and the replacement parts also malfunction. Now we are stuck with a $350.00 piece of junk and it is not even 1 1/2 years since the purchase! Planned obsolescence? I bought this microwave because it was highly rated and because it matched my other Samsung kitchen appliances. Oh well, I cant get my money back and it doesnt make any sense to repair it - so it goes to the landfill. Ridiculous! I wont buy another one, but I do wish that everyone knew about the issues with these microwaves prior to even considering this brand of microwave oven, especially because this is an ongoing problem and Samsung is well aware of it.

It has a bottom freezer drawer that holds a bin for the ice cubes and a lot of frozen items. It has separate drawers in the interior of the refrigerator that are separately cooled. So you can keep your beer at a certain temperature while you watch the super bowl. It is a charcoal color and looks nice. I have purchased this product (AR24HV5NBWKNNA) from Samsung Dealer in May 2014 and from the date of purchase Im not satisfied with the product. Installation of A/C was not proper as it took 12 hours by your engineer. Then in next year 2015 the A/C was not performing and called Samsung and executive visited and directly filled gas in warranty without inspecting the reason of leakage, and gradually after 3 months again cooling decreased. Also water leakage from indoor unit started immediately after refilling and now in current season when unit was started there was no cooling and when engineer visited on 1st call he immediately order a gas refilling without inspecting the reason for leakage. And so the second complaint was lodged and then that engineer inspected the actual reason for regular gas leakage i.e. leakage found in cooling coil which was the only reason for 1st time non cooling, which should have been searched and rectified in 2015 when the gas was refilled the first time. We were given an only option to replace to new cooling coil at our cost whereas I feel problem shouldnt have arised in the 1st year of purchase which I feel was not expected from the world leader brand like Samsung. Right now I and my Family uses Samsung brand TV, AC, refrigerator, phones, washing machine, microwave. Also further we have to install new units at my Factory and 2 Houses but now after experiencing such problem within a year I feel I should rethink over that. Also during water leakage from indoor unit my Indoor Wooden cabinet along with printer and mobiles were damaged. If you wish to see the leakage I have shot a video of it. Also, a suggestion. This kind of malfunction directly hits your Brand Reputation that how Samsung deals with its product Malfunctioning. I strongly request you to please look into this matter on priority as the season has started and there is a need to run the Air Conditioner. So replace the defective part or replace the whole unit.

Samsung Refrigerator RF32FMQDBSR problems - After a year I noticed the ice
Samsung Refrigerator RF32FMQDBSR problems - After a year I noticed the ice maker bin getting harder and harder to remove and finally it froze up so solid it took 4 hours to thaw and remove the ice bin. It did this again within a month. After some researching I find this is a problem others are having also. Since that second thaw I have been removing ice build up under the ice bin weekly to keep it from freezing up again but its getting worse. It does this whether the ice maker is on or off. After watching this appliance for the last couple of months, I have concluded the drain line for the ice maker defrost has frozen up stopping the drain path of the ice maker defrost melt, which now overflows to under the ice bin and refreezes. This is an obvious bad design with no clear fix in sight. If I were to clear this drain line (dont know how) it will do it again in a year from buildup of ice. The other issue is that ice maker cannot dispense cubed ice, again poor design.

We purchased a Samsung dishwasher on 10/30/15. It began failing and showing error codes three weeks after its one year warranty expired. Samsung sent techs out three times, twice with no charge and never fixed the fundamental problem; the machine stopped cleaning dishes. Samsung made exceptions and we did not pay a cent for the service visits, but it was utterly impossible to get the company to simply replace the washer as it was just not functioning any longer. Short fused customer service at best and obviously a product line that is inferior. A class action lawsuit ought to be initiated against the company for anyone who bought a dishwasher that has failed in the past 5 years. An abhorrent experience with a dishwasher that was less than 14 months old.

Its a hunk of junk, bought in late January 2011. Its the same model as everyone else and the same life expectancy. My story is even worse. I bought it for $400 in Canada + paid $100 for install. Door spring broke at 1 year 10 months old. It was out of warranty and I couldnt fix it myself, so it cost $160 for someone to come diagnose and then fix it. So $660 was the price tag. Then it died 2 months later. There was no error code like everyone else, just went dead. It could be something simple but, after reading this list of complaints, I am throwing it. And I bought a new LG instead. I wont buy a Samsung appliance again. I got a 5-year extended warranty this time, $700 all in, including installation. In Dec 2014, we had to call the Samsung repair service company (A & E Factory Service Thornton, CO) to make the ice maker work. The service company told us the Ice maker needed to be replaced. It is costing me $466 to get a new ice maker installed. This has never happened to me before with a refrigerator. I think the quality of the refrigerator is inferior and I will not recommend it at all.

We bought a Samsung 26-cubic ft. French Door Fridge that was manufactured July 2011. It was installed in October 2011. After 12 months of use, the fan motor broke and the fridge vents iced up. This led to the temperature in the fridge going up, and all our food spoiling. We had bought the fridge through Sears, and had an extended warranty. After 6 weeks, Sears could not source a replacement fan motor from Samsung. We have heard that Samsung only makes a refrigerator model for about 3 years or less, then changes it. They rarely make spare parts, and if they do, they are hard to get. We are going to get a new fridge because Sears cannot source a part for our one year old fridge. Im amazed that such a small part is going to render our fridge useless. What a waste of a fridge, and what a disappointment in Samsung, who we thought would build a good product. This was a $2,300 fridge and should last more than a year, and should have available parts. A very good example of the low quality of appliances these days.

We purchased new appliances from Lowes 2 years ago, Dishwasher, Fridge, Range and Micro. We have not had any problems from the range or micro, but had issues with fridge (fan in the freezer). Repair went smooth with Lowes involved. Happy with that. Now we are experiencing the smell that so many have commented about. That being said: What is the solution? So many complaints, really concerned about the integrity of this company. Maybe if Lowes or Best Buy, or both, discontinue the retail of their product, they might consider improving their customer service. Samsung needs to hire someone that can get your customer service back on track. There are other product names that would love to see sales increases once these go out.

The refrigerator started out pretty good. However the water spout is located inside the fridge and this has posed a major inconvenience along with increasing the humidity in the fridge during the hot humid summer. Had to defrost it three times because the drain hose froze up. First time it froze everything in the back side of the fridge. Ice build up stopped the fan & burned it out. Once thawed out & fan replaced it worked well about 3 months, Drain Has frozen up twice since the fan being replaced. Not recommended.

I bought my Samsung refrigerator in Aug 2013. The soda stream compartment failed in the first 6 months and was replaced under warranty. A year later, the fan in the back of the fridge made loud noises. It was covered with ice so the repairman replaced the entire panel. A year after that, it froze again and the repairman pulled it out and thawed it with a hairdryer. This continued every year. Now that I am in year 5, the main display is now inoperable and beeps continuously. The freezer is 48 degrees and the fridge is at 43. It is not cooling at all. Repairman out today said the main panel needs to be replaced. He got it running, but now the compressor sounds like a helicopter. I would never expect this amount of aggravation from a quality brand. DO NOT BUY A SAMSUNG REFRIGERATOR!!! We have decided to buy another brand after 5 years. You would think it would have lasted at least 15.Updated on 08/16/2018: I called Samsung on Aug 3 and was told since my fridge was just under 5 years old, the warranty on the electronics (power board) and compressor would be covered. I submitted all the requested information on their website on Aug 6. After almost 2 weeks (freezer at 62 degrees), a Samsung repair tech came out. He said its not covered under warranty. This is ridiculous to spend $3k on a refrigerator only to have it completely die in under 5 years. I will NEVER buy another Samsung. Im so disappointed.

We bought our Samsung fridge Oct 2010 and it is now May 2014 and the repairman has been here twice now and the fridge (not freezer) has frozen over three times, once after the repair. The guy (not sent by Samsung) came out and for just over 400$ replaced the defrost sensor, cover, since it tore when he tried to take it off (still frozen) and another piece and now one month later it froze up the exact same way and now 274$ later, he is replacing the thermostat. That part is 178$ and the labor is 135$. The labor on this job is obscene. There is no one at Samsung that you can talk to and I hope they fail as a business and go under. They sell crap for a lot of money and they are not helpful AT ALL when their crap brakes.

Samsung being the best brand name in the market and having a good reputation, we had purchased refrigerator on 24th February, 2015. Model no: 45H5809SLSerial no- Price: 48800/- Merchant name - ALFA Vile- parle West. With reference to the above subject the day from when the day from when the refrigerator had been installed its not functioning properly, the vegetable tray which needs to keep the vegetables fresh is forming Ice and spoiling all the vegetables. There are several occasion wherein the technician have visited our residence to check it but rather than getting a solution for the issue they advise us how to keep and store the vegetables. The main issue of the technicians, whoever visits is that they cant resolve the issue but in return they keep advising us how to use the refrigerator, seems like its the first time that we have purchased the refrigerator and we are unaware of using it.Very sad and disappointed experience that we have faced in these months due to the Samsung refrigerator purchased. I would request the company either youll resolve the issue ASAP or else replace the refrigerator. I have always experienced a good customer satisfaction from Samsung, hoping that youll keep it up to the mark. Kindly please revert ASAP. Thanking you.

Just bought this microwave and first time using it, noticed a burning smell but I thought was just because it was new. Second time I used it, microwave went on fire. Fire stopped when we turned off the microwave. We then called Samsung who wanted pictures so we turned microwave back on with nothing in it. Again went on fire and we took pictures of the flames and the burn hole, that looks exactly like the pictures others have posted. Been in contact with Samsung for days who are still reviewing the case and whether it will be approved to send out a service guy to repair my burnt up microwave. Im lucky my daughter wasnt near the microwave or we werent defrosting something and left.Samsung takes zero responsibility even though I could have had a house burn down or the fact we just spent nearly 10,000 on all Samsung appliances. This microwave needs to be recalled!! If you google it, so many have caught on fire, yet Samsung does nothing to warn the consumer or even try to fix the situation. Disgusted by Samsung.

I and my family are extremely disappointed with a Samsung product (DMR78 Dishwasher). We bought it three years ago and it already stopped working. When asked for support, I was told that a defective part will be provided under warranty, but I should pay for labor to install it. On top of labor, Samsung wants to charge $100 for a service call. This is really bad! This is Samsungs fault, that a relatively new product stopped working (an old GE model worked in our kitchen for 10+ years without a glitch, before we replaced it with DMR). Now, Samsung wants to charge this ridiculous service call charge of $100 on top of the $80 for labor? The total $180 fee for our choice of this product? That’s a very disappointing way to treat your customers, Samsung USA!

I purchased my Samsung Refrigerator RM255LASH from Lowes on Christmas Eve (the only place open with a refrigerator we could take that day). It was the last one and a floor model, but we had no choice. Also, the price was $2,100, which is quite high for a refrigerator but again we had no choice. After three years, the icemaker stopped making ice. We did not do anything about it. Then it started leaking water but again we did not do anything about. I thought it had something to do with the icemaker. Then the freezer stopped freezing. Again, I procrastinated and did not call Samsung. In January of this year, it started making a horrible noise and stopped getting cold. At this point, I contacted Samsung because there are no local appliance repairmen willing to come and look at a Samsung refrigerator. There are no parts available to them. I had someone Samsung recommended to come out and look at it. Its something that should be covered by the five-year warranty. I was assured by two people at Samsung that they would take care of it even though I could not produce a receipt (my Lowes receipt was completely faded). Now after three months of going back and forth between the appliance repair company and Samsung, they said they will not cover it unless I produce a receipt. After reading the many complaints about Samsung refrigerators, it seems to be the norm that they do not last for more than 3-4 years. They are overpriced and inferior products. I would warn people not to buy Samsung because of all of the above and also their poor customer service.

Less than 2 years after purchasing our Samsung RF266AEPN refrigerator, the fridge started making VERY loud sounds. Turns out the evaporation coil in the back wall of the fridge had a huge build up of ice due to a poor design. This ice made it impossible for the cooling mechanism to function properly. We spent hours carefully melting the ice away and clearing the coil of ice, and putting everything back together. This has become a twice annual ritual. Now new symptoms have developed that will necessitate spending money to repair this piece of junk.

RA19 - This report is to corroborate what others have already said about the clear plastic shelves cracking in Samsung refrigerators. I bought this fridge new nearly 5 years ago and within the first year cracks started developing in the clear plastic shelves. At this point most of the shelves have cracked, some seriously. The shelves were never overloaded, but appear to develop internal stresses when cold resulting in spontaneous cracks. Similar to what others have reported, there seems to be a specific cold-induced problem with the clear plastic used in Samsungs refrigerator shelves.

The ice maker started jamming right away. When we called they gave us instructions on how to clear the jam ourself. I have never had a company tell me to fix anything myself. What they told me to do did not fix it. So we called and finally got them to send a service person out. He did not put a new ice maker. He just caulked around the ice bin. Within a day it was jamming again. We called to have a service person come back and fix it. When he came he put a whole new ice maker in. No help! It is still jamming and now it is gathering ice in the chute inside the door and then when the door opens ice flies everywhere.Putting in another ice maker is not going to solve the problems we are having because the blades have too much slack in them and they go behind another blade and they hang up. We called and told them we wanted them to come and get the refrigerator and of course they refused to. The company should not be allowed to sell this kind of junk and then make people keep it. I wish we had known how bad the product was and hope everyone will beware of buying anything Samsung!

Updated on 06/24/2020: I called a technician to look at the stove. He told me that the repair would be $325.00. That is more than half of what I paid for the stove. I strongly suggest that you leave this piece of work at the store. Calling their service department is close to useless. They are inefficient and the bottom line is that they do not care about their customers. You can tell how much they care when you read the responses that some of the other customers left. I am the one that reported that there was a gas leak from one of the valves.Original review: Please do not buy this stove. I have had the stove for less than 3 years. In that time 2 of the knobs on the stove have broken. I did glue one of them back together and I will probably get the other one done too. On Sunday the gas valves were working fine and on Monday morning one of the valves froze in the on position allowing gas to escape. This is also what caused the second knob to break. I did not notice that there was any gas still escaping, but when I checked again, I noticed that the burner had lit. This could have resulted in my dying if it would have happened at night and if I had gone to sleep. Better safe than sorry, leave this stove at the store. It should not even be there.

The original Samsung service center that was recommended is now scheduling appointments for more than a month out. When I complained, they told me they would send me an email to get in touch with a different service center. The young lady that answered was trying her best, but without support from higher ups or Samsung what good is it? This service center has only has one technician Really??? I dont have a refrigerator, dont know if they can fix it or if the parts will be on the service person’s truck, or backordered, or... Still waiting... There are a couple main problems with the refrigerator (Samsung Refrigerato
There are a couple main problems with the refrigerator (Samsung Refrigerator Model RF323TEDBSR/AA):1. There is a design flaw in the upper ice dispenser. When you select cubed ice, the dispenser crushes about 1/3 to 1/2 of the ice cubes. The problem lies in the design of the module. The opening to the ice chute is just too small and/or too close to the crusher mechanism which is just above the ice chute. The auger feeds more ice per given amount of time (seconds) than can fall through the hole to the chute before building up a pile at the hole. As this pile of ice builds up, it eventually begins to feed into the crusher mechanism. This results in about one third to one half of the cubes being crushed. Samsung technical support asked us to empty and reset the ice module but it made no difference. Finally my wife called them and had to escalate to the upper tier of support and they sent a second module but we found no difference in performance.2. The second problem is with the overall quality of the refrigerator. The hinge/pins for the drawer lids broke within the first couple months of ownership. These are little plastic pins, which are about 1/2 the diameter of a pencil, that allow the clear plastic lid to swing open upward when you pull the crisper or meat/cheese drawers out. I fixed them by drilling them out and inserting a wooden dowel rod and securing them with some industrial strength glue. Theyve held for almost a year now like that.3. Finally, the silver finish is flaking off the control/menu panel. This is a cosmetic flaw I understand but for a 1 year old product this is absolutely unacceptable. Samsung refused to do anything for us on this and my wife was adamant that there should be some replacement part shipped but they refused.Overall we are finding out that the refrigerator is just poor quality. We purchased the refrigerator because it had all the features we wanted. The second ice maker in the lower freezer drawer was a big reason we bought it. Now we have to open that drawer and dig out the ice cubes for our drinks if we dont want crushed ice which is all we can get from the front dispenser.I also wanted to make a comment about the water filter. The Aqua Fresh filters that are rated to be a match for the Samsung model HAF-CIN are of poor quality. I had a 3-pack of filters and the first filter worked without any issues for many months. Then the indicator light came on telling me it was time to replace the filter. The second and 3 filters from that pack leaked water into the drawer just below the filter. I ultimately had to replace them with the Samsung filter. This is not a Samsung complaint, but rather for information so others know my experience with the off-brand filters.

My new dishwasher does not dry dishes. They are drippy wet and the two different service companies sent to the house both confirm that this model is known for not drying and there’s nothing that can be done to fix it. Funny, the sales person never mentioned this. Do not expect any customer service from the Appliance Factory/Brand Source. They do not return calls and they do not stand behind the products they sell. There were hidden charges upon delivery, which is not free. I can only hope that other consumers do not make my mistake in going with this small guy store. I will stick to the big box stores from now on since they at least offer responsive customer service. The appliances were not cheaper at Brand Source and they lied about actual delivery charges. If you’re satisfied with only having your dishwasher wash your dishes and do not mind drying them yourself, then this WaterWall Samsung Dishwasher is for you. Yesterday a person called at 1030 hrs. He said he was the Samsung pick-up guy. He inquired for the address and location route to the flat, which was shared to him by my colleague. He said he would reach in 1 hours time. I rushed to my previous address (God Summit, Hennur Main Road) and reached at 1120 hrs. I waited and waited! He called me at 1200 hrs and inquired for the route to the place again, which was given to him. He said that, he would reach in 30 minutes time. I waited and waited! At 2000 hrs, he calls me for the third time and says that he is stuck in Koramangala and cannot make it! He said that, he will pick-up the fridge today at 1200 hrs! I left for my new home at 2010 hrs and reached at around 2145 hrs. Can you even begin to imagine what it was to WAIT in an ABSOLUTELY EMPTY flat, that just has a non-functional refrigerator in it, from 1120 hrs till 2010 hrs? My patience is wearing thin sir(s)/madam(s)! 01 June 2016 09:59 - Thank you for your telco the past two days. I was expecting the issue to be resolved on the 30th of May, 2016. (It is what Ajay told me), but I guess the subsequent call on the same day is acceptable to indicate to me a new deadline of 1st May, 2016. I am hoping there will be no further delays. I will wait for a call and action on-ground.30 May 2016 12:24 - I take no pride in writing this, but people just ought to know that Samsung is probably the worst brand, ever! This goes out to as many consumers, the world over, through SMS, Facebook, Linkedin, Yahoo Messenger, Google and through other personal platforms. There has seldom been a case of such gross neglect and inconsideration towards a PAYING customer. It is apparent that, Samsungs post sales completely suck and we, consumers, are left to contemplating why we even considered Samsung as a global brand with global, international and far-reaching processes. What I have experienced, after purchasing a high-end Samsung refrigerator (805 litre/French model/Rs. 1,68,000), has been excruciating and far from the standards expected out of companies and Brands that have grown owing to consumers buying into promises galore.Allow me the pleasure to elaborate, why I believe, Samsung is a terrible Brand and company. Background: I purchased, from Croma, Kalyan Nagar, Bangalore, India, the Samsung Refrigerator (805 litre/French model) approximately 5 years ago, paying Rs. 1,68,000. Before the warranty expired (1 year), the cooling system ceased to function. The Samsung engineers took close to 15 days to resolve the issue, while all the meats and perishable foods rotted and lay waste. Since then and till date, the refrigerator has FAILED 5 times. Each time, the Samsung engineers and their so called TRUSTED Partners, have been late to visit, even later to rectify but absolute when it came to CHARGING me. Each time, I would be paying for different line elements, where the FAILURE in cooling remained constant. Its like theyre shooting off from a book of 101 best reasons to charge a customer. The recent apathy: The recent case has certainly brought me to my senses and has clearly demonstrated Samsungs intent. Theyre simply out to MAKE MONEY and literally intent to CHEAT customers. 9 months ago, my refrigerator STOPPED cooling, again for the 5th time in 5 years. I called in the Samsung so-called experts, who post a great deal of debate and argument, came in to conduct repairs. I briefed them on each issue of the past, the same non-cooling problem. I was indicated that a permanent solution will be in place, for the 5th time. Work completed. The fridge seemed fine, as usual, after the 2 day long repair work, which left my home in a mess. I was CHARGED again and that is quite obvious. I personally feel that CHARGING a customer is fine provided work delivered is up to standards and promises given to us.I was told that there will no further problems, but standard policies mean that the warranty on COOLING is for 6 months only. On the 12th of March, 2016: The Samsung fridge STOPPED cooling again and this time both the freezer and the remainder of the unit. On the 15th of March, 2016: I decided to shift residence (From Gold Summit, Hennur Main Road, Bangalore to Berlie Street, Langford Town Bangalore). I therefore decided to use TWO refrigerators at my new residence. So I ended up buying a new Samsung refrigerator, which I am currently using, since the 16th of March, 2016. The previous Samsung fridge I turned off completely. As I was shifting residence, I decided to have the first Samsung fridge Permanently and Completely fixed, then tested, post which to be moved to my new residence. On the 24th of May, 2016: I called the Samsung toll free number and shared my displeasure at the break-down of the fridge and also completely briefed them regarding my plans to shift of the 28th of May, 2016. The executive assured me that Samsung will help. On the 25th of May, 2016 @ 1932 hrs: I received an sms saying that a service engineer by name of Irfan has been assigned to my case, with the service request number **. I did not receive any calls from the person nor anybody at Samsung. So on the 26th of May, 2016, I called Irfan who then said that, he cannot handle the case as it has been wrongly assigned to him. I was asked to call the toll free number again. This was at 2130 hrs.On the 27th May, 2016 @ 0945 hrs: I called the toll free number and spoke to one Ms. **. I had to repeat the entire apathy/episode to her and she too, like every previous Samsung rockstar, told me that she will help me. I briefed her regarding the fact that, I needed to shift my residence and the date that, I needed to get the work done was before the 28th of May, 2016. On the 27th May, 2016 @ 1221 hrs: I received another sms saying that, my complaint was noted and that, the engineer, one Mr. ** was assigned to my case. The service order number was **. On the 27th May, 2017 @ 2000 hrs approximately: ** visits my home at the Gold Summit, Hennur Main Road, Bangalore, inspects the fridge, understands my issue, takes a photograph of the recent bill from LR Enterprises (A Samsung Partner) and tells me that he will now instruct LR Enterprises to come in the morning, the next day, and have the fridge taken away for repairs. He said that, LR Enterprises will take the fridge, repair it, test it and then install it at my new residence. He said that, this will be done first half on the 28th of May, 2016. (The days that I was scheduled to move my residence to Berlie Street). On the 28th of May, 2016: Nobody came, called and when I called ** at 1230 hrs, he says that, he has already passed the case to his office and that he cannot help further. I then called the Samsung toll free and miraculously, the first service/complaint done on the 24th of May, 2016, did not show and only the service/complaint on the 27th of May, 2016, seems to be showing. Anyways, I briefed the Samsung call executive regarding the CHALLENGE and she assured me that someone from R Logistics (The Samsungs partner company, for whom ** works for will call me.)Imagine my plight, its 1230 hrs, and I am alone at my place because all my materials have left for my NEW place, waiting for someone from Samsung to call me. Nobody did. I called the toll free number again and had to debrief a new executive on the line regarding the entire issue. She promised to Send R Logistics a reminder. I dont know what Samsung call center was doing/did, but nobody called me. AT 1430 hrs, I called the Samsung call center again and had to brief a fresh executive on the apathy and like any of previous experiences she said that a reminder will be sent. I then spoke to **, who said that he just cannot help further because he had transferred the case. I asked him for his bosss number and he gave me 3 LAN line numbers: **. ** told me to speak to one Ms. **.On the 28th of May, 2016 from 1445 hrs: I placed 4 calls to each of the numbers provided by **, that means a total of 12 calls, and not once did anyone answer the phone. I called ** back, who said that maybe ** was in a meeting and I should be calling her after 30 minutes. I called each of the numbers 3 times, totaling 9 attempts and nobody even answered the phone. I called the Samsung toll free line and, imagine this, had to brief a FRESH person all over again, from the start. ALL this while materials that have left from this location to my new home and cannot get off-loaded as I am onsite waiting for Samsung to move the fridge. The Samsung executive on call told me that a reminder will be sent and that someone from Samsung will get to me immediately.Nobody called. At 1630 hrs, somebody at R Logistics, answered the phone (**) and this is the heights because, when I asked to speak with Ms. **, the lady tells me that she is busy and just hangs up the phone. I redialed and requested her again to put Ms. ** on, as it was an emergency. She obliged, and when Ms. ** answered and I had to debrief her again and from the start. Ms. ** assured me that she will speak with ** and call me back immediately. She did not call and when I called back the same number, after 45 minutes, nobody answered. I called ** again, who finally gave me the number of one Mr. R ** (**) and told me that he would be the person from LR Enterprises who will handle my issue. 9 times I called Mr. **. First six times, no answer. Next 2 times, phone busy. 9th time, he answers. I briefed Mr. **, who seemed to not have any idea about the issue. After listening to my plight, he says that I will need to speak to one Mr. **.He gives me ** number, which was the wrong number. 9 times after that, Mr. ** failed to answer his calls. I even sent an sms to Mr. ** requesting for ** number, but till now have received zero revert. Since then I placed 22 calls to all of the 3 numbers provided to me by ** and nobody answered the phone. At around 1815 hrs, when I called for the 23rd time, someone answered the phone. I literally begged to speak with Ms. **. Now I could hear the lady call out to ** and this is exactly what I heard over the phone I am quoting her and in English, Just put down the phone. I tried the number 6 times again, and nobody answered my calls. I called the toll free line again, briefed a new person, again, who then actually told me that its the 30th of May, 2016 and 1022 hrs: Nobody from Samsung has even bothered to call/sms. My high-end Samsung fridge (805 liter/French model), which I paid Rs. 1,68,000 at Croma, still remains in my old home. While I am getting my new home in place, I am so concerned wrt the entire treatment meted out to me. To summarize: Samsung rates, according to me, as one of the WORST Brands in the world, given the way they have treated, and continue to treat me.

I have a Samsung RF25HMEDBSR/AA side by side refrigerator that is nearly 2 years old, The ice maker has been a pain since 6 months after it was purchased, the thing drips water constantly, is moldy, does not produce enough ice, etc. It is mounted in the refrigerator portion of the unit in the upper left corner. It seems like it does not stay cool enough to keep the ice fully frozen and functioning. I had the ice maker and auger replace under an extended warranty package (I have been forced to purchase the warranty to the tune of 300 plus dollars a year), because Samsung customer support will not address the issue. The ice maker failed again this weekend after functioning properly for about 4 months. Thank goodness the warranty is still in place so it will be covered. Come on Samsung there are a ton of bad reviews on this unit, step up to the plate and make this right for your loyal customers!

We purchased a Samsung (Mod RF267AB) French door refrigerator, and within 18 months, we had issues with water pooling in the pan under the deli pullout drawer. Since we had an extended warranty through Lowes, we had it fixed. Since that time, the same problem has been fixed two more times with no success. (Each visit has been a different repair guy, so no commonality there.) The last time, the technician also adjusted the level and tilted the fridge back saying that may help it drain! Starting yesterday, the upper cooling fan has begun growling. I need to call Lowes service to get them out again, and of course, it’s also not draining again. When we originally researched the unit, we consulted the leading consumer products reporting magazines article on refrigerators at the time where it was a top rated model along with the GE model we looked at, which apparently was the same one manufactured by Samsung for GE. Im very disappointed by this experience and also by the ratings assigned by the consumer magazine.

My Samsung refrigerators icemaker started having issues less than 2 years after I bought it new. I have had 8 service calls in less than a year and the icemaker has been replaced once. The serviceman has said that it cant be fixed. I have called 3 or 4 times to Samsung and have documented to them the service calls and the statement from the serviceman that it cant be fixed. Samsung basically says that they cant do anything because it is out of warranty. Dont ever buy Samsung Appliances! My washer was recalled in less than 6 months and the new one is giving me problems. Class action lawsuit on the refrigerators!

We will NEVER buy Samsung again! We purchased a Samsung refrigerator (RF261BEAEWW) in December 2016 and the unit stopped working in April 2018. Samsung initially informed us that the refrigerator was not repairable and asked for us to submit our receipt for replacement or refund. After submitting our receipt we were then informed Samsung needed more pictures of the refrigerator. They told us that the damage was corroded lines due to sulfur in the air. We have never had a problem with sulfur in our home. They said this is an environmental issue and not covered under warranty. The repair company even said that it is unusual to see this corrosion so soon and in our direct area. The lines on the refrigerator should have never corroded that bad in 15 months. We have never had a problem with corrosion on things we have had for years. Even with this information Samsung said they are standing by their claim and will do nothing to help us. We now have a 15 month old piece of junk Samsung refrigerator.

We have bought Samsung electronics for many years. In 2011 we bought all new kitchen appliances, top of the line Samsung. It is now 5 years later 2016 and we have a dishwasher that needs a new motor, the most expensive part approx $600.00. Now our fridge has leaked from the water dispenser and flooded our kitchen twice. It just starts pouring by itself. Of course this happened while we were not home and then again during the night. We thought the first time may have been a fluke but it was not. The electronics on the door stopped working. The replacement part at $400.00 did not work. We also have a leak inside from one of the vents in the back that leaks down the back and pools under the crispers. The tech at this point is not sure what is wrong with it. He now suspects the motherboard. The leak inside will require the whole inside back of the fridge being replaced. These repairs are going to make it not worth fixing. Of course Samsung says Im sorry there is only a 1 year warranty. They will do NOTHING. The appliances are barely 5 years old. How can they possibly not stand behind their products with problems such as this? We all know appliances last many many years with no problems. The tech we are using used to be a Samsung tech and reported how hard they make it to be a tech. The techs even complain about Samsung. I gave 1 star because you have to put something there but I feel less than zero. We will never buy Samsung appliances again. We also will question any further Samsung electronics. We spend so much money on Samsung from cell phones, tablets, tvs, etc. you would think they would do something to help us out. This is the thanks we get for being loyal customers for many years. We now have to buy a new fridge that will be around $2k if we are lucky. The dishwasher will have to be replaced. We have not had trouble out of the range or microwave yet, we hope we dont! What a way to have to spend your hard earned money. Again, we will never buy Samsung appliances again. Be careful because we have a Kenmore washing machine that is made by Samsung. Kenmore is not Kenmore any more. All you have to do is ask Sears, they will tell you. The appliance brands today are not what they say, you have to ask what company made the appliance. I have a beach property that I have recently bought a dishwasher, range, hot water heater and AC. The company I purchased the different items from say that there are a few manufacturers and then a name goes on the same thing with a few differences. Buyer beware!

I bought a Samsung convection oven about 1 year. At day of delivery I found a big scratch and told the delivery man about it. He told me to call store next day because they would be closed so I did. They fix it 2 months later. Now having the stove for about 3 week it cook great just as advertised. Now 4 weeks it cook like my old one. This oven was not cooking the way it was sold and advertised so I call and had it worked on and it did not do anything about the way I cook.To make a long story told I had it worked on 7 times and to this day it was going to be exchanged. That told me if I had the problem 4 time it would be switched out. That was a lie and am very upset so I have your product that works worse than my old one. It should cook to panda bottom, the same without flipping the food. So Samsung I need my money back or a new oven that will last longer than three weeks. Model number is ne595roabs. Thank you for the headaches. Can you fix my problem? That is all.

I bought my Samsung fridge when I moved into my new house. My wishful thinking was soon becoming a nightmare. The plastic door for the bottom drawer broke twice and the electronics control panel failed twice as well. The fridge is now waiting for repair. I dont believe that Samsung really wishes this product to last long so it fails so often that force the consumers to buy a new one. I will buy a new fridge soon but not from Samsung.

Youve heard the phrase, Let the buyer beware? Well, if youre reading this post and all the others like it in anticipation of purchasing a refrigerator, I would STRONGLY advise you to take heed! This refrigerator is a poorly designed, sub-standard product (in fact, so sub-standard it would have to climb a mountain just to get to a minimum-acceptable-proficiency level...). Mine has only been in use for 2 1/2 years, and weve had multiple issues, including most of the ones discussed in previous reviews. Currently, it has power, but neither the refrigerator nor freezer is working at all. Dealing with Samsung is difficult, as other reviewers have stated, and Ive been without a functioning fridge/freezer for 12 days. Mine is the French door model with the additional drawer and the ice-maker. I thought I had done my homework before I purchased this refrigerator, but clearly I did not research enough.Perhaps the fact that the most reputable appliance dealers in our town dont carry Samsung should have been a clue! If you are planning to purchase a new refrigerator, I hope you learn from my mistake and avoid Samsung. If not, you will likely soon find yourself unhappily a member of the ripped-off Samsung-appliance-owner family!

Purchased a home and did a remodel and purchased a Samsung appliance package from Home Depot. The dishwasher has been a NIGHTMARE!!! I am the only one in the home so I don’t run it every day but once I did begin to use it and not even 2 months later had to have the pump replaced. One month later YET another repair! Spoke to a representative who said they would refund my money and she would send me an email with how to get this. Received the email and provided them with everything they wanted. Waited a month and No refund check. Called NUMEROUS time to take 10 minutes of explaining to have them transfer me to claims where THEY DO NOT ANSWER AND YOURE ON HOLD FOREVER!!!I called numerous days in a row and have sent emails every day with no response!!! HORRIBLE!!! So I called and explained to Home Depot and they said there is nothing they can do! It is absolutely ridiculous!!! Pay over 400$ for something and it is not overused and you can’t even use it!!! For Home Depot to support this manufacturer is very sad!!! Will NEVER buy from Home Depot again! Nor will I tell anyone to purchase Samsung!!

We purchased a Samsung over-the-range unit and we too got the error code, unplugged the microwave and it worked well. That is for a while. I heard a ping noise and the springs for the latch broke. I had complained about this since day one, since we got it. It was even checked several times under warranty and was told it was fine. This is what I get and Samsung will do nothing about it. Count me in for a lawsuit. Never buy Samsung again.

I am very surprised that Samsung has not had to recall their microwave ovens. All of a sudden the panel shows a code SE or E5 error code. The micro does just not go dead. It starts doing strange things..... constant beeping.... coming on by itself..... blinking lights. These are not old micros. Mine is not even three years old. I called Samsung. They were less than helpful and suggested we call a service center. They ignore the problem and will not even admit that there is a problem. I am done with Samsung Microwaves. Never had a problem with GE!
