Samsung Washer Model WA46CG3505AVA4 Error Codes
CODE: LO or FL
PROBLEM: Door lock error
FIX: Check the wiring connections to the door lock/switch, and tighten if needed. Forcing the door open might damage the door lock / switch, which is often made of plastic. However, it is simple to replace and much less expensive than calling a technician.
CODE: ds
PROBLEM: Door is not locked
FIX: If the washer won't start, the ds code might appear, signaling that the washer door is open and the lock is malfunctioning. Use the diagnostic test mode to check the door lock / switch assembly. If that shows the lock is defective, replace it.
CODE: dc
PROBLEM: Unbalanced load
FIX: The dc code means the load has been detected as unbalanced during the final spin. Cancel the cycle, or just let it end. Redistribute the load, and re spin.
CODE: Sud (F70)
PROBLEM: Too many suds
FIX: Allow the suds to settle, and move to the spin cycle. Rewash the clothes using no detergent, and then clean your washer.
CODE: lE
PROBLEM: Water level sensor failure
FIX: First, unplug the washer, and check the wire harness connections between the water level sensor and the main control board. If the IE code still appears after plugging the washer back in, the water level pressure sensor should be replaced.
CODE: nF
PROBLEM: Water fill problem
FIX: Check that the water supply faucets behind the washer are fully open and kink free. The lines can also freeze if the washer is exposed to low temperatures. The code might also appear if the water inlet fill valves are defective and need replacement.
CODE: LE
PROBLEM: Low water level during cycles
FIX: Water level drops can be caused by leaks in the washer tub or an improperly installed drain line, which can siphon water out of the washer. Reinstall the drain line, and try filling again.
CODE: OE
PROBLEM: Overflow or too high water levels
FIX: A washer that is overfilled is usually caused by water inlet valves that are not shutting off the water flow properly. Replace the water inlet valve assembly.
CODE: nF1
PROBLEM: Hot and cold water lines are reversed
FIX: Connect the hot and cold water fill hoses correctly on the back of the washer.
CODE: tE
PROBLEM: Water temperature is either too high or too low
FIX: Run the diagnostic test mode to check the water temperature that the control board is sensing. If the actual temperature is significantly different, the temperature sensor or thermistor should be replaced.
CODE: nd
PROBLEM: Water will not drain
FIX: If the washer fails to drain within fifteen minutes, check the washer drain filter and drain hose for a clog or restriction. If the drain pump is defective or damaged, replace it.
CODE: E2
PROBLEM: Stuck key on control board
FIX: Try to free the key by gentle force. If you can't free the key, replace the user interface control board (also called the sub PCB control board).
CODE: 3E
PROBLEM: No signal from the drive motor tachometer
FIX: Unplug the washer. Check the wire harness connections on the drive motor and the electronic control board. If the wiring connections are sound, the drive motor or the tachometer usually needs to be replaced.
CODE: 2E
PROBLEM: Internal control board failure
FIX: Unplug the washer for five minutes to reset the electronic control board. Plug the washer back in. If the code returns, replace the electronic control board.
CODE: AE
PROBLEM: Communication error between the main PCB and sub PCB in the control panel
FIX: Check the wire harness connections between the PCB control boards in the control panel. If the wiring connections are sound, replace one or both of the control boards.
CODE: SF
PROBLEM: Main PCB error
FIX: Unplug the washer for five minutes to reset the electronic control board. Plug the washer back in. If the code returns, replace the electronic control board.
CODE: Hr
PROBLEM: Heater relay failure
FIX: The heater relay is a component on the main PCB control board. Unplug the washer for five minutes to reset the main PCB control board. Plug the washer back in. If the code returns, replace the main PCB control board.

Samsung Washer Model WA46CG3505AVA4
I bought this Samsung dishwasher about 14 months ago and it has stopped working. The smart auto light and heavy light is on meaning an over-level water error. I have looked all over the internet and this seems to be a major design flaw! Of course I am out of warranty so will have to call the repairman. My old dishwasher GE lasted 10 years with no problems. I wont buy Samsung again.
We bought a beautiful looking RF30HBEDBSSR/AA and had nothing but trouble with the ice maker. Samsung will not come up with a solution or stand behind their product. We thought about replacing the ice maker but Samsung has not corrected the problem, so buying a new one will not solve the problem! We have to defrost the freezer the old fashion way, with hot water. We are tired of doing this process because we have to keep the refrigerator doors cracked open so it wont start freezing again. By doing this we have lost perishable goods. We have replaced our Washer and Dryer with a different brand because Samsung wont fix the problem and now we are replacing our refrigerator even though its not that old! Next well replace our range. We started replacing our TVs also. NO MORE SAMSUNG!!!!
Bought our Samsung RF23J9011SR/AA refrigerator approximately one year ago. Ice maker malfunctioned. Samsung seemed familiar with the problem. The repairman mentioned a design flaw with regard to the small fan. They did quickly repair the problem for hundreds of dollars. It seems to me if they knew of the design flaw they should make the adjustments at their cost.
We purchased an expensive Samsung stainless steel refrigerator from Sears. After a few short months, rust spots began appearing all over the fridge and freezer doors and ruined its appearance. I would not recommend purchasing a stainless steel appliance from Samsung. This experience ruined stainless for me, and we will never buy it again.
Whatever you do DO NOT buy a Samsung refrigerator. Mine is 4 years old. There is a design flaw in the ice maker. The ice maker has been making ice that is wet and the unit freezes up. Samsung told me to defrost the ice maker with a hairdryer. Did that. 3 weeks later same thing. This has been going on for 5 months. Samsung will not do anything to repair it. SAMSUNG IS WELL AWARE OF THIS PROBLEM. READ THE REVIEWS. BUYER BEWARE.
Bought this fridge a little over a year ago. Paid about $2500. Loved the flexzone and 4 doors after have an LG bottom pull drawer type prior that kept coming off track. Unfortunately after about 8 months the ice-maker has done nothing but give us complete fits. Husband has used School of YouTube to repair it at least once every 8 weeks for the past year. Constantly freezes up or just will not make ice at all. Also, drips continually out of the ice chute, leaving scale marks on the door. Sadly, I purchased all matching Samsung black stainless steel appliances so I would want to replace them all. My $1000 Samsung front load washing machine is also a POS, returned once already for defects and the dryer takes 3 cycles to dry fully. Will not be buying Samsung products in the future, nor recommending to others.
They dont deserve a star at all. I purchased a Samsung 3-Door Refrigerator on 3/29/2010. The price was $1870 + $199.99 for their premium service plan by new and some other small fees. The grand total was $2,266.97. 18 months later, my refrigerator stopped working. I called the service plan center and they sent out a repair person from A&E. The service guy replaced the motherboard and told me that will fix my problems. A few days later, my ice maker was not working. I called the service center and they sent out the repairman from A&E. The repair guy ordered a new ice maker and told me this should fix my problem. Well, that didnt. The service center and I have been going through this cycle for over 3 months and my refrigerator is still broken. My contract states that after 3 calls for the same problem, they will consider it to be a lemon and replace it. I have yet to get my refrigerator fixed or replaced. Please help me stop this fraud from happening.
I purchased your Samsung refrigerator model no: RSG257AARS/XAA, back in Dec. 2013 when I bought my first home. While I am not customarily someone who uses ice in my drinks, there are certain beverages wherein I do use ice, such as with a soda or a cocktail. But for water and or juices, I do not require ice and as I rarely drink a soda or have a cocktail, I cant say the ice maker on my unit has had much use considering I am a one person household. This little to no use of the ice maker is potentially why this problem with the ice maker/dispenser did not appear until July 2014. I first noticed this problem when I discovered a large white shaving of plastic floating in a glass of Coca Cola. It was the size of a coconut shaving and so I removed this remnant and secured it into a plastic zip lock bag. Obviously, I disposed of the drink.I then examined the ice maker machine and mechanism, removed the ice bucket etc. and discovered there were dozens upon dozens of plastic shavings sitting in the cavity of freezer below the ice bucket. Upon further examination I discovered areas on the left and right sides of the plastic housing wherein it was obvious the rotary blades (auger couplers) had literally shredded into the plastic housing and it was quite clear from the magnitude of the scratches, shavings and debris that this was a serious problem.I first received service to repair this problem in July 2014. However, the repair took nearly 4 weeks to conclude, two home visits, shipment of parts, and I had no ice available to me in that time. Moreover, I greatly needed ice to medically treat an injury. Thus, the repair was more than an inconvenience. While the repair included some new parts and a new ice bucket, after the repair, I was hesitant and nervous to use the ice cubes for drinking and would look in each glass of ice. Then just a few days ago (20 Oct 2014), I found a SHARP solid chunk of white plastic floating in my Coca Cola. Again, I removed it and secure it in a zip lock bag for evidence. Upon examination of the unit, I now find that the plastic housing under the ice bucket is again being impacted and hit, only this time the scratches and scrapings are now at the front of the housing rather than on the sides. To make matters worse, on the evening of Oct 21st, I observed small white tiny powder like particles, sitting on the outside stainless steel dispenser tray, which indicates I have been ingesting and drinking micro particles of plastic. I have obtained a small sample of this particle by pressing my finger down onto it and then scraping this fine particle off my finger into a zip lock bag, but it is so small and fine that one could literally not pick it up any other way. It would be like trying to collect a single grain or flake of salt.As of late, I have been enjoying one soda a day, in place of eating a desert, and have been having more iced drinks than usual. Again, this draws me to the conclusion that if only this ice maker and dispenser had had normal American household use, this problem would have most likely occurred immediately. At this stage, my main concern is my HEALTH and how my body has been affected by ingesting micro fine particles of plastic used to make an appliance. To be honest, I am more than upset by the gravity of the situation and I find your customer service to be sub-par. In my opinion, this unit is DEFECTIVE IN DESIGN. Any refrigerator that starts dispensing plastic for a HUMAN TO EAT AND INGEST SHOULD BE DEALT WITH IN AN APPROPRIATE MANNER, and does not even fall within the scope of an ordinary repair.I can no longer trust this appliance to provide me ice! In addition, I will never again use it for drinking ice. NO WAY! NEVER! No matter how you repair it or pretend you did, it is obvious that the METAL BLADES are able to make contact with all edges of the plastic housing and therefore will ALWAYS HAVE THE POTENTIAL to feed me plastic.Next time I see my doctor I will consult with him on this matter. In the meantime, feel free to send me the chemical composition with which this plastic material is made of and I will give that to my doctor. Alternatively, we can send samples to a lab and then I will bill and or sue Samsung. I am outraged at this situation! Period! The fact that you are again going to send me a service repairperson who has NO experience with this SPECIFIC problem is ridiculous. Moreover, two Samsung service repair technicians told me they had never heard of this problem. So all you are doing is putting a Band-Aid on this situation, waiting for the manufacturer warranty to run out so that you will not have to contend with it. So yes, I am outraged. I will never again buy Samsung. In closing, I am attaching photos from last July showing evidence of the plastic shavings and impact to the housing. The current plastic particles are to small to photograph and while this is the same problem, the particles in fact are completely different now in shape and size. In fact the smaller particles and this current situation is way worse because I cannot VISIBLY see the micro-particles in a drink, making this a blatant health hazard. Please review the photos carefully! I would like this case to be escalated and dealt with by your upper management.
We had the absolute worst experience with Samsung. We called because our freezer was 2.5 years old and both ice makers broken in addition to the freezer. Our freezer wasnt staying at the correct temperature. I called to see what, if anything they can do. They advised me that there is no warranty. I requested the information for an authorized Samsung repairer (they did not offer). I was told that I would need to call and set up the appointment since I was no longer under warranty. I expressed how disappointed I was that our refrigerator was broken and was under 3 years old. He continued to reminded me there is no warranty so that was the end of that. I then called the number provided by the Samsung representative and did not speak with anyone. I chatted with a representative over the internet and explained that I could not get in contact with them and explained that I am loyal customer of Samsung for over 10 years and am in need of assistance. He could not do anything other than tell me that my warranty has expired and that I should call the number provided. I called a total of 4 times and left 2 voice messages. I then contacted via chat to beg for help and he then provided a number to Samsung Emergency Help. However at this exact time my husband was at the house with an unauthorized repair company because we have now been 4 days without a refrigerator and have a house of 6 to provide for. The emergency repair representative said that they cannot help because an unauthorized has touched our appliance. The unauthorized repair man confirmed we had a freon leak which was the reason our temperature was not right in both the refrigerator and freezer compartments in addition to having broken ice makers. The Freon had a 5 year warranty and when a supervisor called me back she said I should have looked at the manual and that that was my responsibility. I reminded her that I told the rep I spoke with everything and I am not too savvy when it comes to diagnosing issues with my refrigerator so I did not know it was the freon, I clearly communicated that the freezer and refrigerator temps where not right and the original rep I communicated that too agreed but still told me I have no warranty so I believed I had no warranty.I was repeatedly blamed for not arguing with the rep about the freon and warranty issue. They blamed me for getting a unauthorized repair man, They said I should have kept calling them when I got no response from their authorized repair facility. The chat rep disconnected/hung up on me (still had questions), when I asked to speak with the supervisor - she stated, You actually spoke with my supervisor already, and went on to explain that her supervisor passed it to her to handle when I requested a supervisor and that I could not speak to anyone else. The supervisor blamed me for not setting an appointment up through them (even after I told her I was clearly told that I have to do it). I did not raise my voice nor did I at anytime use vulgarities or insult anyone that I spoke with.I reminded them that I was a loyal customer with over 14 Samsung products that includes appliances, phones, media equipment, and tables and it meant nothing. I suggested they at least give me a coupon to purchase something else and all was denied. I cannot and will not patronize a company that has such bad service. I talked to Samsung 3 times by phone when I called, 2 time when a supervisor called me, and 2 times by chat and I did not have an acceptable experience. I feel as if the product was defective if everything broke within a week of each other and it was only 2.5 years old. Terrible Service, no I am purchasing a new refrigerator and will not consider a Samsung product again.
Heres the conclusion to my review. The repair tech came to my home today and saw the blinking light on the Samsung refrigerator. He said hed have to look this up online. His response: “Your freezer fan is blocked by ice. It will cost $240.00.” The $110.00 service fee would be waived if I wanted him to remove the ice, but if the sensor was broken, thats $80. And if the fan was also broken, another $80. The warranty for the work was only 90 days. So, I gave him his $110 for wasting my time and sent him on his way, then proceeded to take apart my freezer (unscrewed everything). Once the back panel was removed, it was covered in so much ice I boiled water to melt it and knocked it away from the wires. I checked to make sure my plugs were fitted properly. I took out the fan - it looked fine. 2 hours later, it’s working again; no flashing lights, the freezer and fridge were cold again and all I needed was a Phillips screwdriver. I would recommend trying this first if you have a couple of hours. It will save you time and money.
I purchased and Stove from you guys. Y’all offered me a refund because the parts are on back order and then rejected the refund but want service. It either only had the range for 7 to 8 months and they serviced it 4 times and still not working. At a lost right now. Feeling duped by your company. Vickie **.
The display on our electric range started to flicker. Sure Samsung offers a repair and warranty program, but who in the HELL cant wait for 4 months until a service technician shows up? Steer clear. Also bought above the range microwave and a matching dishwasher. All have had similar issues. I will never purchase another Samsung appliance. I would rather build a fire outside to cook on than purchasing a new range from them!!!!
The process for a service repair is the most inefficient process ever! We have a 1.5 yr old refrigerator where the freezer went out. We knew we were out of the warranty period, but still went through the correct channels for getting a service request. The service company came out to our home and believed they found the issue, a sealed component issue which IS covered by the 5-yr warranty. This was within a weeks period. They then order some parts for the fix, then came back out to apply the fix, but no luck. They then had to release all the gas that is in the sealed lines, inject a dye into it and come back at a later date to see where the gas leak was in the lines. At this point, we are already 2 wks in, and they came out figure where the leak was. The leak was found and they had to then schedule a return appointment since they had to order some more parts to fix the leak. 3wks go by and now the part that came in will not work, even though, it is the correct part according to Samsungs technical support and the refrigerator blueprints. Now Samsung is making the repair company jump through hoops to make sure that indeed, the part will not work, including a live video conference to show the part not being able to fit on the actual piece. Its now been almost 4 weeks, without a refrigerator. We have a 16-month old toddler, we had to purchase a used fridge just so all our current food in the fridge wouldnt go bad, and there is still NO END IN SIGHT with Samsung deeming this refrigerator IRREPARABLE and giving us a new one! I will never recommend, not buy another Samsung product again.
I purchased a stainless steel Samsung dishwasher from PC Richard. I used it for almost 13 months until It started having problems with the blinking lights on the control panel. I contacted the store which then gave me the customer service number for Samsung. When I finally reached the help desk, I was told the warranty had expired and if I wanted a service tech to come fix the problem, it would cost $125 just to come and check what was causing the problem and then I would have to pay for new parts. This is a disgrace, since it was not even a month that the warranty had expired. I looked for recalls on this model#DW80F600 series. Customer service was rude and completely disacknowledged my complaint.
After purchasing all new matching appliances refrigerator, stove, microwave and dishwasher 2 yrs ago, the Refrigerator stopped making ice after a couple months of owning. Plus its the noisiest refrigerator, ever. Service rep. came in and defrosted it, and it began making ice again. Ice is always soft and water drips inside the lower compartment. Several calls for service rep, with same repair results, defrost. The week the warranty expired, same issue. Called manufacturer. Asked if there was a recall on the refrigerator. They said no. Unbelievable, poor engineering, there should have been. They offered a free repair service, with replacement of ice maker. Well completed job. Ice is a bit more solid, but ice maker still froze up within three months of replacement, sad. I will never buy another Samsung product. Very poor customer service too. Sold all appliances for a loss. Bought all new GE Appliances. Still Made In USA. Better warranty. They look and work great.
I bought all new Samsung appliances 18 months ago. On Thanksgiving Day no less my oven caught on fire roughly 2 minutes after I turned my oven on. Electrical fire inside. Stove ruined and lucky my house didnt burn down!
We have had two awful experiences with Samsung. We bought our first Samsung French door fridge in 2016 and sometime while it was still under warranty I noticed the bottom of the left door was not sealing when it shut. Samsung didnt have any authorized service technicians in our area so they couldnt fix it. They told us we had to literally cut the cord and send them a picture of it so that we wouldnt be able to sell it or give it to someone else to keep using it. I told them I couldnt cut the cord as its the only fridge we have and we gotta store food somewhere. They finally gave in and paid us the value of the fridge. Which we then took and per the agreement with Samsung, we had to buy another Samsung fridge, went to an authorized Samsung dealer that said he serves our area and bought a different model: RF28JBEDBSG/AA/08. It worked great for a year or so until the warranty ran out and thats when we started having issues with the ice maker. It completely froze over, started leaking water out the hole when we tried getting ice and just completely stopped making ice. We called the dealer we had bought it from, they sent out their technicians to repair it and they like just some kids off the street who didnt have any training on such repairs. They took apart the ice maker and used a hair dryer to melt the iced over ice auger motor and ice maker assembly. While they were in the process of melting the ice inside the ice maker cabinet they heated it up too much, buckling the inside of the cabinet and melting a plastic tab up top at the back end of where the ice maker sits when its installed. So now the ice maker doesnt fit correctly. The technicians said they caulked the inside of the cabinet all the way around to seal it, but I could still see light coming through all along the left side. Couldnt really feel or see any caulk along the edge anywhere. They charged around $100 for this #repair! This only lasted for about 3-4 weeks and then started freezing up again. I called them again and they said theyd order us a replacement auger motor and ice maker for around $211. I brought it home and took apart my ice maker to replace it with the new parts they had just sold me. After all that hassle of taking it apart I find that they gave me the wrong ice maker! It was completely wrong. Way too short. I took it back and they gave me the right model ice maker. I then took apart my ice maker a second time and was able to replace it. This again only worked for a few weeks and then also started freezing over and doing what the original ice maker had done. Ever since Ive had to shut off the fridge, take the ice maker apart and thaw the whole ice maker and auger about every month and a half or two months. Ive contacted Samsung multiple times and they only tell me that its out of warranty, try to send out the same Samsung authorized shops technicians to #repair it (which I refuse to let this shop ever touch my appliances again since they screwed me over every time Ive dealt with them) or they give me a phone number to call Samsung to order parts to fix the ice maker. I am not spending any more of my own money on this piece of garbage and will never buy another Samsung refrigerator.
We have a three-year-old Samsung RFG298AABP/XAA French Door Refrigerator. Had the repairman out twice because the refrigerator wasnt getting cold enough and there was virtually no ice production. It was deemed unrepairable by the repairman because it was leaking freon in a place where he could not fix it. He said Samsung should replace it with a new refrigerator.Samsung contacted me and said they estimated the original cost to be $1,874, but they would only reimburse me $1,300. Then I called the second time and they said no, I would get the entire $1,874. I went to the store to look at new refrigerators and got sticker shock. I could not come close to the same model for that price. I was appalled that after three years, and their unit being defective, I would only get $1,874 to replace the refrigerator.I emailed the company to complain and was told they would send it to a supervisor to see if they could accommodate me after I told them I checked prices and the model like the one I have ran $2,799 now. I have spoken two more times to their Executive Customer Service, and they are telling me I can only get $1,874. I feel they should compensate people the replacement value when their refrigerators are defective. In conclusion, I will NEVER purchase another item from Samsung.
Spent $2,000 on rf263 beae sr. Excessive water collecting in chute and draining out of and sometimes into fridge. Repairman came and replaced dispenser door, didnt correct problem, then ice maker didnt work, approx 11 months old. Icemaker replaced, broke 3 months later, no longer under warranty. Didnt get anywhere with Samsung. Have been manually making ice for my $2,000 refrigerator for over a year. Bought a replacement ice maker. Doesnt work. I personally will never buy another Samsung product. I wish someone would start another class action suit. This is ridiculous. I replaced an 18 year old fridge that, yes, was out of style but never had any problems.
We bought a three piece kitchen set a year ago. First of all, all three items have issues. This dishwasher is the worst. Error message after error message. Constantly. Now it doesn’t work at all. The water wall is off track. No repairman in our area will touch it. They say parts are ridiculously hard to find and expensive. Our oven is sitting in the dining room, broken as well, unable to use. If I could leave zero stars I would.
I hate my DMT800 Samsung dishwasher. It does not heat the water nor clean the dishes well. It is about 3 years old and its torn up. There are only certain repair companies that are allowed by Samsung to repair their appliances and some will not repair the appliance if its under warranty. The company I call charges $89.95 for a service call and if they can repair it, they will waiver the service charge. I think that this means it will be expensive to repair it. Im going to buy a new one and it definitely wont be a SAMSUNG.
I was cooking supper one night when I heard a loud bang and then loud arching sound. I ran to the kitchen to see a flame in the oven and my house filled with smoke - set the smoke detector off. Luckily it blew the breaker so the house did not catch on fire. When it cooled down we looked in the oven and found a hole had been blown right through in the bottom. Looked like it blew upward from the warming drawer. Samsung reaction - we will fix it but nothing else. It cannot be fixed. They do not stand behind their products at all.
Samsung refrigerator RFG297AABP - I purchased my refrigerator from Lowes in late 2008... Since new the ice maker has been more trouble. Nine, yes NINE new ice maker units since new. And now the ninth one is dead... I have spend over $1000.00 on a $3000.00 refrigerator, just have ice. To make matters worse, the front door under the ice maker has more rust, from the leaking ice maker, than a 30 year old ship rusting at sea. As a single father of four girls, money is tight and we can no longer budget a thousand plus dollars for ice! I can not recommend to anyone a Samsung product ... that continues to cost this much after purchase... and at seven years, is rusted so bad. Whatever happened to pride in the products that are produced?
When I purchased my new home in July of 2010, I decided to buy my dream refrigerator along with it. I purchased the Samsung French door from Lowes for about $2500 - a real splurge for a single school teacher. I didnt get the extended warranty because I figured that anything that expensive would be well made with excellent customer service. Wrong on both counts. The first refrigerator lasted two weeks. The water spout wasnt working so Lowes told me to get a plumber. I had the plumber come and $100 later, the problem was still there. Finally, after a lot of complaining, Lowes switched it out for another one. I blamed the problem on Lowes, thinking they gave me a floor model. The replacement worked much better until I noticed snow on the right side of the freezer (about 6 months later). Of course I figured I did something wrong. I was still in denial that Samsung would sell a piece of junk for top dollar. I cleaned out the freezer and was careful about closing the door. Then I noticed the food in fridge would be completely soggy to the point where I had to throw things away. My biggest mistake was waiting a year and a half to call them. They told me to troubleshoot and go from there. This past holiday, the snow was so bad that my food was ruined in the freezer. I have gone the rounds with Samsung. They told me it will cost $500 and they will not pay any of it. Basically, what they are saying is it is okay for them to sell a product to a consumer for $2,500 and then expect a repair of 20% of that price in two years. Mind you, I am a single senior who barely opens the freezer or fridge for that matter. I take care of my things and never in all my years had to repair or replace any appliance owned. Samsung needs to make this right. They need to step up to the plate with integrity and replace all our defected refrigerators. Consumers have rights. It is illegal to sell someone something and not have it perform the function it was meant to do. I am boycotting all Samsung products and urging you to do the same. Please, please, please if you are considering a Samsung, please do not purchase. This refrigerator is defective.
I bought this dishwasher new. Within the first 2 years the control panel went out, cost $200. The bottom screen tore, replaced at 85. My husband did all the labor or I would have paid as much again for this dishwasher as it cost originally. Now just a simple leak at the bottom of the door. The rubber gasket is old and tore, water leaking all over my floor. Simple to get out. But Samsung does not sell just the door gasket, You must Buy The Entire Door Panel. Why not? It’s holding the consumer hostage for higher priced parts replacements. Repacking a door when you just need the seal! The cost of a gasket $20 maybe, but the entire door is what they want to sell me at $250. just to get a new bottom door seal. Highway robbery. I will never buy your product again. Totally ridiculous! This dishwasher still looks great but it is being trashed. Can’t use it, leaks water all over the floor without the gasket. I won’t waste any more fixing this product. Buying a new Whirlpool! Never buy Samsung Dishwashers!
The dishwasher is fairly quiet. It has several wash options as well as a separate dry option. The racks fold down so you can put large or unusual shaped items in it. It is pretty but the stainless streaks more than I would have liked. All and all, it works good. I would recommend this dishwasher. Works better than others I have used. Fairly decent price for the quality you get.
Do NOT buy a Samsung refrigerator even if they GIVE you a lifetime warranty!! The icemakers a nerve fixed due to a design flaw. The Brick will not tell you the truth. Conmen just using junk appliances!!
I am really scared with the previous reviews. I bought from Sears a Samsung microwave model SMH187S. Then we got the SE message and the constant sequences of 5 annoying beeps. I took the power off even for days hoping the computer will reset... negative. I went to internet where some people claimed cleaning the terminals will do it… negative. This is absurd, a microwave less than 3 years. I have to bring back from my garage a Whirlpool microwave, a very basic and inexpensive model that I have used for more than 10 years and it works well. I am upset with myself letting the Sears salesman convince me that Samsung was the best choice. Where is the government? Where is the customer protection of other times? Where is the respect? It should be an official recall. I will start talking to Samsung and if they ignore me, I will start a movement for a class action against Samsung. The biggest class actions always have started with one person. Arrogant companies that believed were invincible like Blockbuster, Pan Am, Motorola, AOL, Sears went down or are just going out of business. Samsung… beware.
We purchased this product on July 27 2017. Months after we purchased it the ice maker started icing up and water started dripping inside the fridge. When you would hit the ice button you would first get water then ice would drop. The ice would not be totally frozen. Then water would drip out after you were finished. Three different times they have replaced the whole ice maker. On Nov 8 2018 they told our repair man they were going to do an exchange. Then on Nov 29 they had another company come in and fix it (3 time). On Jan 24 it started doing the same thing. When we contacted Samsung they told us it is now our problem. They are not going to fix it again. They totally lied to us about exchanging it. This fridge is nothing but junk and headaches. We ended up going to Sams Club and purchased an ice maker. You spend nearly $3000.00 for a refrigerator and you cant even have it make ice. Buy from a different company. They know they have problems with this refrigerator and they wont stand behind them. We will never have another Samsung in our house. Read other reviews on this. I know others have the same issue. We read them but we thought they had the issues resolved. Boy did we find out the hard way.
I bought a Samsung Refrigerator model RFG298HD from Lowes (French Doors) around $3,000.00. We had our first flood from the ice maker at 3:00 in the morning (How much fun is that?). To have a company come out and dry me out, it took them a few days to get someone out for the repair. It was like pulling a teeth to get reimbursed (with pictures). They replaced my ice maker. It was shot and less than one year and 4 months later, on 9/7/12 it flooded my house again. We called and they claimed that someone will call us, but still no luck until 9/11/12 at 10:30 at night. I guess they want to replace my floor and fridge. If anyone is looking to start up a class action, count me in. The customer service sucks!
So start by saying Im huge Samsung person, TVs, note Phones, Sound bar, Etc.. So figure why not try appliance even though they are new to it. I got Appliance package and Ice machine gets stuck about once week on refrigerator which is annoying but works good otherwise. But stove after about year/year and Half started glitching out on display, which go online and see this is common problem other experience due to Poor motherboard/Motherboard issue.Which after never having issue thought it was huge telling factor that when I finally have issue Samsung says, We can connect you with service company. They will charge you $200 just to come out diagnose the issue, when I could by a new range for twice that, as that did not include parts depending on what is needed or labor. Not a FAN, would say Stay away from Their Appliances altogether. They are still figuring it out and not very helpful. Also from customer support over feeling taken care of or anything Useful was done would rate it 0. as I could have figured out same thing.
Looking for a new fridge freezer, there standing proudly is a Samsung American style Fridge Freezer, boasting a unique 10 year warranty on the fridge freezer COMPRESSOR. We had the item 2 years when the compressor failed and had it replaced, now a 2 further years on it fails again, we call Samsung and explain our problem with the 2 year old replaced compressor and Samsung proudly informed us YES indeed we will honour our pledge displayed on our Freezers and we shall supply you with a brand new compressor, Er BUT you will have to have it installed yourself as that is the extent of our warranty, the small print if you like, Yet another customer sucked in and duped by a multinational company. Well done. Senior citizens cough up for their own idiocy of believing the embossed sign on Samsung products. Shameful but cost effective.
Absolute horror story so far with Samsung Customer Service. New Samsung Refrigerator Model RF31FMEDBSR/AA was received and installed September 30, 2013. Worked fine until day before Thanksgiving. Freezer stopped working and all food for holiday was ruined as well as party to be held. Contacted Samsung at 1-800-726-7864 Wednesday morning and explained our problem in full. We were told we would receive a call back 24-48 hours for help. Samsung finally called back the following Monday. Samsung stated they would give us a reference number and would be assigning the repair work to USSI who, in turn, would call us back for the service work to be conducted. USSI was then supposed to contact Samsung informing them what parts would be needed to correct the condition with the refrigerator. I asked how would they know what parts to order if they did not have anyone, initially, look at the refrigerator to know exactly what the problem was. Per USSI, they would call me back when they receive the parts from Samsung. I called Samsung on December 13, 2013 asking what the status was regarding the parts as I had not received a call back from USSI. Samsung representative told me USSI received the parts on December 11th but failed to call letting us know when a technician would come to our house for repair work. On Sunday morning, December 15th, the technician called stating he would be at our house between 3:00 and 5:00 P.M. A little after 3:00 PM, he showed up and replaced two items (Evap cover, Main PCB) and then left. Next morning, the refrigerator had a lower temperature than before and the freezer was not functioning at all. December 16, 2013, I called Samsung back and was put on hold for three times after explaining my problem. The fourth time I called, I spoke with a woman (Sherry) who informed me that the repair work would be handed over to another company known as All American Appliance at 386-631-0076, who would be calling me back for an appointment. After not receiving a call from All American or Samsung, I called All American to learn my status. A woman informed me that they received information from Samsung but they were not servicing my area. I asked for their location and was told they are located in Daytona Beach, Florida. Next, I informed the woman that their location is 5 miles from my house and would be in their immediate work area. She replied that they could not send anyone out until after the end of the year - December 31, 2013. I called Samsung back and they stated they would be assigning another company but I would not know what company until I get a call back between 24-48 hours.
I also have been disappointed with their product. The icemaker always freezes up. When you call them they tell you to find a Samsung dealer to repair it. The first time it had a broken seal, but it was under warranty. The next two times, it was fixed for approximately two months. Now it doesnt work at all. I will never buy another product from them again. This refrigerator was expensive.
Right after the Samsung gas range was installed we used it and it did not boil water with the largest burner. From November 2015 to March 2016 we have had 4 service calls for the same problem. A letter to Samsung went unanswered. They did send a warranty extension e-mail since I received as they said such great service for my problem. I sent it back asking where the great service was and no answer. We still have the same problem. As of now my gas grill burner boils water better than this Samsung range. Will not buy any Samsung product again. Should have gotten our first choice of GE but liked the looks of the Samsung range a little better. So much for appearances over quality. How many times does Samsung have to come to fix a problem before they decide to fix it right? Waste of money!
My problem is like everyone else!!! My RF217 is less than 2 years old when drain froze up wrecking the fan!!! Having been in the appliance business for over 30 years, I have never saw such a poorly designed system!!! After defrosting and installing a new fan, it worked for a couple of months when it started leaking into the crisper drawers telling me the drain was already frozen!!! I made a heater out of a copper wire and thought I had it fixed. But three months later, same old crap!!! Samsung knows of this problem but is not recalling the problem, even though they make a kit to fix it with!!! I suggest everyone that has or had this problem call the commerce commission and report their experience. In the meantime, you can buy the kit online such as eBay for around $125.00... Let refrigerator thaw for several hours so you dont break cover or insulation foam behind it!!!
Product manufactured 12/2019. Purchased 6/2020... Freezer door seal is inadequate and food thaws and refreezes. Ice melts then freezes into a lump of ice. Technician says he sees this problem all the time with this Samsung model. Won’t replace the seal, won’t do anything to correct; technician says it’s a default and we are just stuck with an unacceptable refrigerator... Samsung now refuses to offer a fix. Will never purchase a Samsung product and will tell this experience over & over!!
Did a kitchen renovation and bought a stainless steel 33 inch Samsung rf197 fridge. 3 months later it starts leaking water into the vegetable trays. The fridge freezes up. Everything inside is frozen and ruined. Ice builds up and stops the fan. After defrosting numerous times again ruined everything. Ice in fridge section again builds up and fridge shuts down again ruined everything. Compressor stops working for fridge section freezer keeps working. I am now on a first name basis with the repairman. Compressor stops 1 week before 5 year warranty up on compressor. Have to fight with samsung for repair. 18 months later the second compressor has gone. Enough is enough. Moved my beautiful samsung to the curb (no marks on stainless steel) and bought a different brand.
I purchased a Samsung dishwasher at Lowes and had it less than 24 hours when it started flashing Heavy. When I called the company, they said that it meant that it was improperly installed & I had to have a tech come look at it. I called Lowes & they said that if it already was giving me trouble, not to bother with a tech and to return it. The Samsung tech wouldnt give me any information as to whether it was electrical, plumbing or whatever. After reading on the internet I realized it was the product, not the install. It is a piece of junk that is an electrical malfunction nightmare!
Looks Nice - Acts Nice - Have not had any issues in the year I have owned (Samsung) (2500). There are some confusing things regarding how many options the shelfs can be configured. Also, Controls are Digital, to be honest they work great but I have never touched them. Hope it is the last fridge I ever buy. That was my criteria for choosing this one.
First the poor design was the ice maker which broke three times. Repaired it twice and gave up. Bought ice maker. (Mine was the ice maker on top of freezer. Always getting knocked into and broken). I noticed new models dont have the ice maker on top of freezer. Plastic parts broke. Now it is hot in the refrigerator and freezer. Lost between $200 -300 dollars worth of food. Then TRY to find a repairmen. What a sorry lot. Supposed to come last Thursday, truck broke down. Was rescheduled for Sat. No show. Now they can come Sat. That is one week and a half without a refrigerator. I spent big bucks on this I believe 4 or five years ago. Will NEVER get another Samsung product.
I have a stainless steel French door bottom freezer refrigerator. Unfortunately my refrigerator stopped working after only one year. I contacted Samsung immediately, they informed me that a repairman would be in touch soon. Two days later Samsung contacted me to say they did not have any repair people to assist us, but that they would refund our refrigerator and also for our food loss. It took months to get out refund we also never received food compensation loss. Customer service was incompetent and not knowledgeable of our situation. Stay away from Samsung products because when they stop working for whatever reason the company will not help you. Trust me this has been a horrible experience.
My microwave caught on fire and I know its out of warranty. Do not expect a new replacement but at least a refund. This could have caught my home on fire. After back and forth with Samsung and a dealer they sent out to say it is not repairable they will do nothing. I sent them pictures of the damage and they still give me the run around. I do not think every appliance that runs out of warranty needs to be replaced and thats what they make me feel like. My ticket # is **.
I spent 6 months last year dealing with the same problem on my Samsung Refrigerator French Doors as Denise from Eastport, NY. The end result was a manufacturers defect and it was corrected by changing a metal piece which originally was about 2 inches long to a new piece which is now about 4-5 inches long and this allows the fridge to drain the water to the freezer section which it couldnt do before. Before this fix, the back of the refrigerator was full of ice. The temperature control stopped functioning and water was all at the bottom of the drawers since the drain was blocked with ice due to the defective metal piece that was not long enough to allow water to drain. This was very frustrating and, after many phone calls and visits, they realized the defect and changed all the parts again. I was still covered by my insurance plan but what happens to those people who didnt purchase the plan?
Refrigerator freezer freezes up one block of ice. It quits cooling for the second time. The serviceman came out. The whole back of the freezer was one block of ice. He replaced one small part and said it was fine. Now, it didnt last two weeks. It did the same thing. This refrigerator is 11 months old and still under warranty. I called today and was put on hold for an hour. Finally, I was told the serviceman would come out again. I think I got a lemon.
It sounds like 2 years is the magic number. We purchased our Samsung microwave on 12/2010. We havent gotten any error message yet but the lights & nightlight will turn on and off by themselves at all times during the day and night. Weve been unplugging it, worried about a possible fire. So much for convenience. Im not paying to repair this piece of crap. I feel bad for my husband who is going to need to install a new one... that isnt a Samsung.
We bought all new kitchen appliances (4) from Home Depot and they were delivered Feb. 2014 to our winter home in Florida. The dishwasher has been used under a couple of dozen times (only 2 of us) as we did not use the place much since then due to our schedules. Arrived in Florida this week and first time we tried, it failed. We got the HEAVY & the Smart Auto indications on it and nothing worked. Searching online we find that this issue is well-known and well-reported by a lot of folks and reading their comments makes us regret buying anything from Samsung. Contacting Samsung was beyond ridiculous.Justin ** | Samsung Electronics America | Social Media Support & Executive Customer Relations made these comments: ...there is no known issues with this particular model. Despite all sorts of homeowners and technical people knowing all about it? Really? And also, ...we would be unable to offer any accommodations. Nothing? That is all you got to say and all you wish to do? Really?I even sent this guy links to various review sites all describing their exact same pain and you are totally unaware? Really? Perhaps lift your head out of the sand might help? We could pay to fix it as some have, but as so many stated the repairs failed again and in some case again & again I feel the best action is to throw Samsung in the garbage pile where they belong and purchase a better and more reliable dishwasher. And now I fear the future as the range, the fridge and the microwave are also Samsung appliances. Why oh why did I buy Samsung? ARGH!!!
I purchased my side by side fridge, model #RH25H5611SR/AA in October 2016. Mid July I noticed my fridge temp blinking. Got the manual to reset and it stated that because the temp has been changed it would take a moment for the blinking to stop. So, left it alone and when I awoke no more blinking. Two days later, July 18, 2016 the refrigerator temp is blinking again. This time I make a call to Samsung but now the now is set and no longer blinking; two days later after this it starts to blink again and I make a call to Samsung again on July 20, 2016. Im told to unplug or disconnect the power from the unit; I do this but when plugged in 2-3 minutes later the blinking has stopped but now my temp for the refrigerator is reading 61 degrees Fahrenheit. I give this info to the customer service rep who tells me that this is okay and that the temp will drop and to use the fast cool function. Now I got my first service call number on the 18th and at that time provided all the necessary information to the representative. On the 20th I asked if a new service call number would be given and was told that it wasnt necessary, the first service number was still valid. Anyway, the following morning the refrigerator is still reading 61 degrees. I call Samsung customer service on July 21, 2016, give this customer service rep the whole story from beginning to end only to be asked for the serial & model numbers. This info should have been in my file as it was given on July 18th. Anyway, once this info is provided again this individual wants to send me through all the troubleshooting steps I have already taken. When I explain that these things have already been completed with no resolution he wants to tell me that I will be responsible for charges if a technician is sent out. To say the least I explain once again to this individual that the troubleshooting has already taken place and it didnt work and I need a technician. He complies but now it will take 24-48 hours before I will be contacted. Was contacted by the service tech on Sunday evening that I had to be available between the hours of 12pm to 3pm. I get a call that the tech is running late and will arrive after 3pm. He arrives & checks out the unit. He turns to me and states that I need a new compressor. He goes on to say that this is a regular problem with this particular unit. The part has to be ordered and will take approximately 3-5 days for delivery and then they will contact me for repairs. My question is has anyone else had this problem? Is there a recall? Again, the technician stated that this is a common problem. I purchased my appliances at hhgregg and got the whole suite to include dishwasher, range & microwave. Was told that this was the top of the line appliance package. I also have Samsung washer & dryer (Home Depot). Did a little research prior to purchase but mostly price comparison but I apparently missed this site. Had I read all these reviews prior I would not have purchased all these Samsung appliances. Praying that my products dont fail but will definitely obtain some type of extended warranty to protect myself. It wont be Samsung.
Samsung informed a company called USSI to repair my fridge. USSI charged me $129.00 to have someone come out to diagnose the problem. They then charged me $438.09 for parts and labor. Nobody ever came back to fix the fridge. Kept getting a runaround from the technician and the company. Nobody had the courtesy to call me and tell me whats going on. Also, Samsung was of no help. They kept giving me the standard Im sorry youre having a problem. Had to get a local repair company to fix my fridge.
Purchased a refrigerator both compressor and main circuit board broke after 2 years. Customer service wasnt helpful. Executive department told me to read the policy. They wouldnt allow me to speak with a manager. Poor product, poor service. $1800 unit garbage. I will NEVER purchase anything Samsung again.
This dishwasher works alright except dish rack are junk. They started rusting after about year and half and have gotten so bad can no longer use. Samsung will do nothing about this and they expect you to spend $400.00 for replacement racks on a $500.00d dishwasher. DISHWASHER HAS ONE YEAR WARRANTY THAT DOES NOT COVER RUST, SO STAY AWAY FROM SAMSUNG. THEY SELL JUNK
The ice maker on this is faulty, I have read several reports after trouble with ours and it seems to be a recurring issue. It makes little to no ice, freezes up, makes a horrible sound and drips water every time you try to get ice or water. It took 5 appointments all with 6 hour windows for them to finally say it was faulty. I am expecting a reimbursement check and I will never buy this fridge again.
Samsung DMT800RHW - Any lawyers out there?? While Samsung is aware of the faulty rack clips that break off within a year and lodge within the internal components, causing circulation pump issues, repairs costing upwards of $300, theyve yet to issue a recall or even come to terms with overwhelming consumer reviews and complaints. Something has to be done to protect the consumers. But what? In addition to the clips are the random error codes, frequent unexplained shut downs (requiring a trip to the circuit breaker), this expensive dishwasher is an ABSOLUTE disappointment. Whats worse is Samsung’s lack of any sort of acknowledgement or regard for consumer satisfaction. There has to be people out there that can help... petition? Lawyer? Lawsuit? Contact me if so. Together we can make a difference.
2500.00 wasted. Samsung would not repair/replace our 3 year old refrigerator that had compressor failure due to what they call physical damage. Micro holes in the copper lines to the compressor caused the compressor to fail. Samsung claims the sulfur in the air of our house caused the failure. The warranty is 5 years parts and labor, 10 years parts. They charged us 100.00 to diagnose the problem. We talked them down from 200.00 because we already had a repair man confirm the compressor failed. He stated that the copper lines are really thin and cheap. Samsung had to have their own people check it. We do have well water but it is treated and we never hooked up the water to the refrigerator. Samsungs recommendation to us was to coat the lines with a good paint to protect them. We did not have any issues with the Whirlpool refrigerator we had prior to this Samsung. Has anyone else had a similar problem? We think the warranty should have mentioned an exclusion for sulfur in the air and we think they should honor the warranty. We will not purchase Samsung products ever again, poor customer service.
Samsung French Door refrigerator is junk. Model FR 28HFEDBSR/AA with ice and water through the door, as soon as the warranty expired, the ice maker stopped working. It would freeze up, stop making cubes. We replaced the expensive water filter every 3 months instead of 6, but melting ice/water would constantly drip from the water dispenser, creating a puddle outside the door. My husband repeatedly takes the ice maker apart, defrosts, cleans, and reinserts it. After 24 hours it makes a few small cubes, works for a week, then freezes up again. Biggest waste of a lot of money ever!!!
We have had this refrigerator for almost 4 years and after 2 nothing but problems with the ice maker. Have had a local repair person out twice. They said that this a problems with this brand. Wish I had realized that before I bought it.
My Samsung fridge started having problems in year 2. It is defective. The icemaker freezes up & stops producing ice, it doesn’t keep food at proper temps. Fridge back panel also freezes. Customer support is not good.
I bought model number rf263besr serial jkj44bbaesr side by side Samsung refrigerator. I had a complete disaster for my Christmas day celebration. I am informing the consumer that I tried to get a refund on my money from Samsung refund department claims for the food that was spoiled in my Samsung refrigerator this past Christmas. I ask to speak to a supervisor about this matter. They refused to put me with that contact and forced me for herself to handle the problem and forced me to have a technician come out. I have had a default ice maker (I assumed because I never did get a technician from PC Richards) and coolant problem arise recently, and to add a 400 dollar grocery bill that had to be put into the garbage on Christmas Day. Please see class action lawsuit from the complaints as well dating back to 2006.
I have the Samsung RF267AEBP purchased from Sears ($2,100+) 01/02/2011. Shortly after the basic 1-year warranty ran out, the unit began routinely freezing up due to the known failure of the defrost cycle and/or heating coils and sensors malfunctioning. When the ice builds up over time, it locks up the fan motor from the glacier of ice (sounds horrible like a screech owl). Like others on this post and all over the Internet, I have to force the RF267AEBP into a manual defrost; when the ice melts, it fills the space under the Deli/Crisper drawer with water. The first time this happened, we did not realize that the ice could not drain normally due to a defective drain (Note: The defrost water drain has been reported to be too short to drain properly after the refrigerator goes through a defrost cycle). So, after turning the unit back on, the backed up water that pools under the Deli/Crisper drawer freezes into a solid two feet by one inch sheet of ice! Not knowing what was going on, we could not get the Deli/Crisper opened without pulling very hard on it and that brought the entire sheet of ice out and onto the kitchen floor, creating one big dangerous mess! Now, the ice maker is making loud clicking and banging sounds, and the ice maker has malfunctioned too with inconsistent delivery of odd sized ice cubes (more like chunks of ice) and it, too, now freezes up. We have regularly replaced the filter (@ $30+ each) that does basically nothing but filter water for the ice maker and the water dispenser. This has been the most frustrating and expensive major appliance ownership experience I have ever had with a major appliance in over 40+ years of home ownership.Samsung, you should provide us customers that have suffered through the purchase and repair of this known defective refrigerator full refunds for these known manufacturer defective refrigerators and/or provide a totally brand new replacement of equal value regardless of the customer’s choice. This is an expensive major appliance and we should not be having these problems that are clearly a quality control problem of widespread proportions. If I am not contacted by your warranty and customer relations department with a satisfactory resolution, I will be forced to sign on to the class action suit and add my model to the long and growing list of models already posted on the website. I will also have my day in small claims court for not just the cost of the defective refrigerator, but also for the spoiled food cost of replacement, labor and repair cost, and my lost work/wages due to having to take off work to deal with the overall malfunctioning of your Samsung RF267AEBP.By the way, my paperwork from Samsung that came with my refrigerator clearly states, Your Satisfaction is Samsungs # 1 Priority - Do not return to store. Well, Samsung, here is your opportunity to step up and simply do the right thing, especially since you are on record claiming that my satisfaction is Samsungs #1 priority.
Major repairs after one year. Then a year and a half later more major repairs. $90 diagnostic fee for a 5 minute visit. $100 case brake part plus another $60 for labor. Just purchased stove and microwave to match. Will return both and buy different brands! A new appliance should last more than 2 and a half years. Very disappointed. Will never purchase anything Samsung again!
My Samsung RFG298HD refrigerator is about 5 years old. Earlier this year the icemaker stopped working... Got that problem fixed. Shortly after that, water began pooling in the Cool Select Pantry Drawer and now the drawer seems to be frozen in place and will not open at all. After some internet research Ive learned this a fairly common problem with Samsung refrigerators and apparently Samsung has chosen not to address the problem. This was a very expensive refrigerator and Im not happy with the product and WILL NOT buy another Samsung appliance. My last refrigerator was a Kenmore. We had for over 20 years which was still working perfectly when we replaced it with the Samsung junk.
Worst product EVER! I worked for an appliance manufacturer in Canada. I purchased a refrigerator via my employee discount in 1989. To this day it works PERFECTLY! I need to defrost the ice maker on this POS MONTHLY. STAY AWAY FROM PURCHASING SAMSUNG REFRIGERATORS.
Microwave Vent comes on and off by itself. Have to unplug it afraid of fires. Went online and saw numerous complaints about same microwaves. Plan on calling Lowes Monday to see if they will take it back. Samsung needs to be taken to task for obvious manufacturing flaws in microwave keypads. Will wait to see how Lowes and Samsung handles issue. A bit angry with Lowes who continues to sell this microwave knowing the issues Samsung is obviously having.
Bought my Samsung refrigerator less than 3 years ago, March, 2016. I have had to have the ice maker replaced and now the refrigerator is not cooling properly. It has taken a month to get a repairman in to fix the problem. Less than 36 hours later after it being repaired, I was awaken at 4 am in the morning with my refrigerator making the same noise and stopped cooling AGAIN. Luckily the refrigerator is still under warranty but I was without for a month, now it is going to be another 2 weeks before they can come out and replace the same part they just replaced. It is 2 weeks before Thanksgiving, how is anyone supposed to live without a refrigerator at this time of year? This is inexcusable! Samsung needs to buck up and get these items fixed or replace our units with new ones!!!
I would like to register my deep discontent how Samsung Appliances handled my order delivery, when I bought the delivery date was Sept 9th, then after 2 days I got a notification from a 3rd party company, XPO Logistics, saying they will only be able to deliver on Sept 10th, then 1 day before they called and postponed to Sept 20th. On that day they postponed again Oct 4th. So Ive been leaving in my house without a refrigerator since then and the worst is that they have the refrigerator in the warehouse but cannot install it because they are overbook or whatever. So please you CANNOT TRUST on Samsung delivery dates and customer service.
RF266AEPN/XAA French Door Samsung Refrigerator looks great but is not reliable. Paid $1500 5 years ago and numerous repairs since. 03/14 icing in the refrigerator vents began, called Samsung support and they acted like this was the first time they ever heard this. I learned later its a common issue. Service Ticket **- no one called back or showed up. Refrigerator started making a lot of noise and some water appeared in refrigerator. I learned the Samsung refrigerator Series RF267 has an ongoing issue with freezing up and icing over the fan and evaporator coil. Class action suit.04/14/14 Called Best Buy Geek Squad technician who removed back of Samsung refrigerator and attempted to defrost back of defective design. Remove inside back panel, inserted $4 part to prevent refreezing and replaced original back with broken styrofoam insert. Ice still remained in cooling vents 2 days later and still is icing up. $162.38 service call. Either Best Buy or Samsung should cover charge of full repair or replacement for 2-year-old French door refrigerator that clearly has a poor design and many complaints online. Problem continued so we periodically defrosted the refrigerator to clear ice from coils. Contacted Samsung again 09/17/14 and was told by Sherlyn: There are no reported issues with the unit. Ha! Representative Sheryln assigned the transaction number ** and forwarded it to Executive Customer Relations department. No helpful response, credit, or repair. We contacted Best Buy/Geek Squad again and for $400+ they replaced the inside back panel of the refrigerator, door seals, fan, etc. After a horrible experience and almost $700 in repair bills we hoped to put this behind us and enjoy our beautiful stainless steel refrigerator for a while and we did until the noise started again and the temperature started going up in the refrigerator this week. Now food is in ice chests and I am shopping for a new fridge. Unfortunately there are some pretty bad reviews out there on Whirlpool, LG, Samsung, etc. Will definitely purchase the extended warranty and may go with Costco because of their customer service. Samsung should stick to android phones where they know what theyre doing.
I purchased my Samsung electric range Model NE597R0ABSR in September of 2014 from Nebraska Furniture Mart in Kansas City, Kansas. Last week on 08/10/2017 the oven suddenly caught on fire when I turned the oven on. Nothing in the oven. The control panel read that the temperature of the oven was only 275 degrees. I just heard a clicking noise and then a small boom and I could see my oven was on fire through the glass. Smoke alarm went off, and I got the fire out without getting hurt. The heating element in the oven had caught fire on its left side and was melted. The lens around the light was also scorched and then there was all the damage to the walls of the oven being scorched, the oven door glass was also scorched and damaged. I was very lucky that I was still in my kitchen when it caught fire or else I imagine more damage would have occurred to my kitchen and home. Of course being 3 years old it was no longer under warranty, but from the number of complaints on this same issue with Samsung ranges which not only includes my model number but other Samsung models it appears to be a manufacturing defect. I called Samsung customer service 1-800-726-7864 and told them what happened and they said it was no longer under warranty. I said to them that it looked like a manufacturing defect and was told well manufacturing defects were only covered for 1 year (ridiculous). The stove is a fire hazard. I unplugged the stove after I got the fire out. Then the Samsung customer service rep I talked to the 3rd time finally said that they would sent an authorized repair service to my home to evaluate the damage. Samsung would pay for the service evaluation and the labor to replace the parts, BUT NOT THE PARTS. Turned out that when the tech took the back off of the stove, it was the wiring harness that had been on fire also, plus the circuit board was damaged and that was just what he could see without taking it apart any further. Turned out the circuit board, the wiring harness and oven heating element parts would be a whopping $420.00. That was just the beginning, then there would be another $60 charge for the tech to come back. I told the repair service I was not paying for any parts and would not be having the stove repaired and it was ridiculous for me to have to pay anything at all for Samsungs negligence in manufacturing a stove with so many defects. An electric stove should never just catch on fire because the oven was turned on, and the wiring harness shouldnt have caught fire ever. That $1000.00 stove should have lasted more than 3 years. Samsung obviously does not care about their customers, or their well being, and I will never buy another Samsung product. So many of their appliances have exploded, caught on fire that it is ridiculous that these same products continue to be sold to the unsuspecting US public.
I paid a thousand dollars for my dishwasher in 2015. I have not gotten one years use out of it without something breaking down on it. In the first year, after many issues, we ended up replacing the board on it. The rubber mat on the top rack and some of the plastic clips in it broke down during the second year. Now the water wall is giving us problems. Customer service runs us through a simple troubleshooting guide just like the one on YouTube then says not their problem anymore, call a repairman. Weve replaced the motor, the sensor and it still doesnt work. Looks like it is the computer board again. I will never buy Samsung again. I thought they were one of the best. I guess I was misinformed.
A microwave is just a microwave but I was wrong, this is amazing, its fast and effective, gives a melodic ping when its done. I really like the design and color. A piece of fantastic art I would describe it.
Purchased these 4 items rfg297hdrs refrigerator, smh21175 microwave combo, ne595riabsr oven, dw80f600uts dishwasher. Purchased in December 2013. 2 repairs under warranty on dishwasher and still does not work good. Over the oven microwave is in the garbage after burning bacon which burned out the panel. Paid a repair service for call and was quoted 480.00 for repair. 30 days after 1-year warranty. Oven element went out after 20 months and was told by Samsung it was covered. They sent a repair guy out and the part was not on warranty. I paid the service call and called to order the element and was told if the bottom did not work in my dual oven then it was the controller panel. I have been so disappointed in Samsung appliances. I would not recommend them and will let others know about the cheap quality and Samsungs bad customer service.
We bought this refrigerator 5 years ago and had the first problem within a month. The icemaker refused to make crushed ice. The part was replaced. Six months later and the plastic circle on the back of the ice bucket cracked and we had to get another one. Then we had the leak under the deli tray that others have complained about. The water refroze under the tray and made it impossible to open the tray. We had to take everything out and thaw the water lines. Then we had to buy another ice bucket and another and another. Now the ice maker has decided to only dispense cubed ice - no water or crushed ice. Needless to say, this will not be my next refrigerator.
2015 most expensive model. Does not clean or dry dishes. Do not buy.
I have been in touch with Samsung regarding my microwave since August 3, 2017. At first, they were going to send out a tech to look at it since it completely just stopped working. My microwave is less than a year old and under warranty. After three days without a call from a tech to schedule an appointment to come fix it I called Samsung back. I explained that no one has come by or called about fixing my microwave. The customer service rep said they would contact the company about coming out to repair it. I also asked for the companys number. After still not hearing from them I called the company myself. No one answered so I left a message. After another few days with no call back I called Samsung again and reported the issue. Next, the rep put me on hold and tried to contact the company with no success. That rep said they would keep trying and call me back. Finally, after more than 2 weeks without a working microwave a Samsung rep called stating that they did not have anyone that could repair it and would issue a refund. But of course, there is a catch! I had to supply a receipt that I no longer and had paid cash for the microwave so no bank record. Once I explained this they said they could still issue a refund but it would take 10 days of review and then they would send out an email to start the process for getting a refund. I am not a criminal nor am I trying to scam them. I would much rather have my microwave fixed than purchase another one. But that does not seem to be an option. I cannot understand why it would take 10 days for review. Also, the refund is going to be $37 less than what we paid. We have had other Samsung products that we have had to replace or repair. We replaced our dishwasher and our refrigerator need to be replaced. It has several issues. We will not be purchasing anymore Samsung products or recommending them! We finally just went ahead and purchased another microwave and have the Samsung sitting around waiting for the email about getting a refund. Samsung requires you to take a picture of it with the cord cut and the serial number. I get this procedure but I should not have to wait 10 days for an email in order to send this information in. It seems like a stall tactic to me. I am a service business owner and would never have a customer wait over a month for results!
I bought model RF28JBEDBSG less than 2 and a half years ago. For paying over $2000, you would think its going to be an excellent appliance. Since day one, we hated the ice maker. Barely makes any ice. But little by little the ice maker freezes up and the ice blocked up. So we started buying bagged ice. So to fix it, we unload the refrigerator and let the ice melt so we can get into the ice machine to remove the ice. This has happened multiple times even Christmas eve dinner. So I researched the problem and realized there are thousands of people with the same problem along with a class action lawsuit for the same issue Im having. Then someone mentioned the temperature not regulating properly. So I got a thermometer and seen that I have it set for 34 degrees and the temp inside was 20 to 44 degrees that I have seen with my own eyes. Over 40 degrees is unsafe for food. They are giving some people a horrible time getting a fix or even a refund. DONT BUY!!!!
Purchased this refrigerator in 6/2011. In March of 2013, a problem started with the water dripping into the vegetable bin & under it (one side only). Reported the problem to Samsung and an order for repair was submitted. There were two subsequent visits within a two month period by the same repairman but whatever adjustments and parts that he replaced, the problem has not been solved. I called Samsung and since I did not purchase the Extended Warranty, they would not pursue this any further. They did ask if I wanted to purchase the Warranty now. I refused. Since I have reviewed the issues of other consumers, I feel that Samsung should review and investigate this problem and repair or replace whatever is necessary to resolve this matter.
2 years old 28cf french door stopped suddenly 2 weeks before Christmas wasting $600 in food. I called Samsung certified tech and had to pay out of pocket. Then it took them 2 months to replace it with another that is not assembled correctly.
I purchased a Samsung refrigerator on May 1. It has not been operating properly from the very first day. It froze everything in my refrigerator on two occasions and now it maintains a temperature of 55, which is above the safe level. The repair guy did nothing. It makes a very loud noise on the freezer side that can be heard in the whole apartment. I know something is wrong, but when the repair guy came, it was not making the noise and the food was not frozen so I was advised to just turn it off and plug back in because everything was computerized and it was impossible for him to tell what was wrong. Im going to have to junk it and get me a GE (what I had before). I will never buy another Samsung product.
I purchased a Samsung 2 door with freezer drawer from Best Buy a little over a year ago. First problem was a build up of frozen ice under the cool select tray. I chipped the ice out figuring it might be some water that leaked under the tray by accident. Two weeks pass and the same thing happens again. I call Samsung and of course they say the warranty is out and they cant do anything to resolve my issue. A week later the ice maker goes out. How can a year old refrigerator have these issues? Samsung offers no remedy for the problems and the customer service is horrible. That was a complete waste of $1500.I will never purchase a Samsung product again. When I see people looking at Samsung refrigerators, I immediately tell them the issues I have and for them to look at the reviews before making the same mistake I did buying a Samsung refrigerator. If Samsung refuses to help me Im going to help others by persuading them to stay away from the Samsung product. I even took pictures of my issues to share with potential Samsung buyers.
We remodeled our kitchen and purchased the FE710DRS Stainless Steel Flexible Dual Convection Smooth-Top Electric Range in September 2011. This week as I was preheating the oven, the wiring caught fire. It was really frightening. Filled our downstairs with black smoke and left an awful smell. Hoping that Samsung will respond positively since we paid $1300 and its only 4 years old. Will update.
RSG257AARS - I bought a higher-end refrigerator a few years ago. Ive already had 2 shelves break as well as the freezer door handle that keeps popping off. I was told by Samsung Executive Accommodation Customer Support that its considered normal physical damage and therefore no accommodation would be granted (for the handle). I asked him to affirm that he was essentially saying that Samsung considers it normal for a refrigerator door to pop off just 3 years after purchase, and incredulously he did. Samsung has lost a loyal consumer of higher-end appliances.
I have bought microwave, fridge, cell phones, stove, dishwasher and TV. All Samsung. The only thing working good is the TV, everything else started breaking down a year after we bought. We have become experts in fixing the fridge because the service on them sucks. You get the tech come over and they say they have no clue about them and charge you. And same problem occur 2 weeks later. Would never buy Samsung again.
The Icemaker has been replaced 3 times, and is broken again. The refrigerator is only 3 1/2 years old. As much as I have loved Samsung products, I am very disappointed in this Refrigerator. I would not recommend it to anyone.
Ice Maker:The ice maker constantly freezes up and requires that you defrost or chip ice out every month or so. This is a flaw with how the ice maker is mounted and does not create a sealed compartment, allowing warmer air from the refrigerator section to enter the ice making space. Touch Screen:My first fridge came with a broken touch screen. It was active but the touch did not work all the time. For whatever reason they could not obtain the part so they RMA-ed (Return Merchandise Approval) my refrigerator and replaced with the same model -under warranty. The second refrigerator came the same way. This time they were able to obtain the part using a third party repair company and the screen was fixed. Apparently the first screen had a broken connection that the technician was able to see once he removed the part. He suspected the connection was possibly broken during transport and explicitly installers holding/carrying the door by holding the ice dispenser region. Apparently there is a flexible piece of plastic that pushes up into the screen. I recommend for anyone with this refrigerator to take extra precautions not to move the fridge by holding the ice maker region. Applications:When I first got the refrigerator there were several useful apps (including: AP News, Pandora, a recipe application, weather bug, google calendar, etc) with the indication that more apps were going to be coming in the near future. No new applications have come. Weather Bug stopped working 2 years ago. AP News just went off line. Pandora and recipe apps just disappeared one day. To make it worse many people on the Samsung site have been trying to get a response about the applications and Samsung never responds. My opinion is to stay away from any Smart-screen Samsung refrigerators: they are only a novelty that Samsung does not seem to support.
I own a Samsung frig and so does my son. We bought them 5 1/2 years ago. The warranty was for 5 years. Now, 6 months later we can NOT find anyone to fix them. They say that they have their own repairmen trained to make the repairs. I sent $3000. on my fridge and now I cannot get it fixed for 11 days. I run a childcare from my home and so I am now losing income for those 11 days as well as all the money spent on the extended warranty and the fridge repairs which they wont even give a rough estimate cost. Do not buy a Samsung fridge. They are next to impossible to get fixed. The service department took 3 days to call me back.
I purchased a brand new in the box Samsung over the range microwave, installed it. It worked well and was beautiful, stainless steel and black. I worked away from home off and on about two years, came back to live at home again full time. One day it said SE on the screen. I called Lowes. They wouldnt take it back. I called Samsung. They told me to call a service person at my own expense. I said, No! I explained I had barely used it and no way was I spending another $170 added to the $200-$300 it cost me initially. So basically, they sell disposable microwaves. I also own a Samsung top load washer and dryer that cost about $1800-$2000. So when these crap out, I will load them all in my truck and drop them through their nearest Samsung plate glass windows. If I wanted to purchase disposable ** in the first place, I would have done so. Kiss my **, Samsung! I tell everyone about this! Seriously, they suck!
DO NOT PURCHASE A SAMSUNG STOVE!!! Actually I will never buy any Samsung Appliance ever again! The glass top of the stove got several cracks on it while I was cooking from the burner getting too hot (it was on medium). Manufacture defect but of course they denied any repairs. Only 8 months old. $1000 down the drain. I should of read the reviews before purchasing! Again do not purchase any Samsung appliances. You will regret it. Trust me!
Model RF217ACWP. Bought at Best Buy 2 1/2 years ago. Same water in crisper problems experienced by other Samsung owners. But, also, the paint is peeling off all three the door handles big time! Of course, Best Buy has never heard of anything like this before. Also, Samsung said this was the first they had ever had such a problem and were surprised at our photos. Of course, it is a cosmetic issue and they will do nothing. We are told to purchase new handles and were referred to a parts company who claim they are not part of Samsung. They havent told us the cost. We are thinking removing the handles and taking them to an auto body repair shop to be repainted. Think that will work? It seems with all of the lawyers out there, someone would do a class action against Samsung since it is apparent they are selling a product with a known defect -- the water, freezing issue. Hey, where are the lawyers? Count me with those who WILL NEVER AGAIN BUY SAMSUNG!!!
Two years ago, we bought a Samsung refrigerator and it has been nothing but a money pit. We bought this from Lowes and it is no secret that this product is a piece of junk. Why would they keep selling them? The thermostat went out 31/2 months ago for a price of $300 and another service call a month before that for a price of $100. Well, the thermostat is out again and Samsung said that the thermostat has only a three-month warranty. The only positive thing I can say is that the set up manual tells you what to do so you can throw it away. I am going to cut my losses and buy a new one. Does Samsung made it or has anything to do with it? I have had my last Samsung product in my house.
I purchased my Samsung French Door refrigerator from Home Depot in 2018. In less than two years the ice maker broke requiring out of warranty service. The door bin cover snapped off. The freezer slide out wheel snapped off. And now the freezer is not freezing food. This is a $3000+ refrigerator and is total junk. Stay away from Samsung major appliances.
My Samsung refrigerator is about 4 years old. Several times, it has simply quit operating. Most times disconnecting the power and restarting it has solved the problem. Yesterday it starting showing the error message OF which means it has gone back into showroom mode. This mode shuts the refrigerator down and is used in showroom situations to reduce power consumption. I researched the error code and tried all the solutions outlined on the various websites to no avail. I called a repairman and he indicated that the computer has failed and I would need to spend $600 to fix it. This was a top-rated refrigerator by Consumer Affairs. You were clearly misguided and should remove this appliance from your recommendations immediately. My last refrigerator was a Kenmore and lasted for twenty-five years with no significant problems.
My Samsung refrigerator is about 4 y/o and started leaking from the ice maker. It flooded part of my house. I contacted Samsung who said they would consider paying for damage and send someone out within 1-2 business days. On day 2 I received a call to set up an appointment. We set it for the next day in the morning. I took off work to do this and the next morning I received a call saying they would be here later in the afternoon. I explained they set up the appointment for am not pm and they didnt care. I explained I wouldnt be home and they didnt care. I would have to reschedule and go even longer without a refrigerator. This whole process has been a headache. The people have been less than nice at best and this just tops it off. I bought new Samsung refrigerator and washer/dryer set about the same time and the last 2 months have had issues with all of them. If I had known they wouldnt last past 4 years I wouldnt have bought them. It is very difficult to find a Samsung repairman in Houston. Nobody wants to work on them. I called several companies that wont touch them. They say they have too many issues fixing and getting parts for them. I will no longer purchase any Samsung product. Not worth the hassle or the money apparently.
I bought a Samsung refrigerator model RS2530BBP/XAA less than three years ago. Last year before it was even two years old, I had to have it serviced for freezing up. I spent $200 to have it defrosted by a repairman. I had lost around $250 worth of food. Now less than a year since having it repaired, it started making a loud noise. And then I noticed after being gone to work all day that the freezer had quit working and all my meat was defrosted. I had to throw away another $200 of food lost. Samsung is no help at all. I called and of course, they said I would have to pay again to have it serviced. This is a load of crap. They dont stand behind their products. Im a single mom and when I bought this $1,100 refrigerator, I thought it would last me at least 10+ years as my other refrigerators all have. I will never buy Samsung products again and hope I can get the word out about their products. They are junk. When I just had this refrigerator serviced less than a year ago, it has always made weird noises and I knew that wasnt supposed to be that loud.
There are numerous reviews of this unit stating that the stove burner knobs are poorly designed and can easily be turned on by casually bumping into them. I can attest that this is true. This is why we remove the knobs from the stove when not in use. However, it appears that my unit (NE58F9710WS), with knobs removed, turned on spontaneously and caused a small fire with paper items that were on the stove. There was nobody home at the time, and the damage caused by the fire was minimal. My range hood must be replaced, and smoke damage occurred throughout my home. It could have been much, much worse. So far, Samsung has been cooperative and has agreed to repair the unit and cover the costs of the damage to my home. I hope Samsung takes these claims seriously and provides an updated design that is less likely to cause fires.
Only a year old and the microwave just beeps when not in use and the exhaust fan goes crazy beeping.
We purchased a Samsung French Door fridge model number SRF644CDLS 18/11/2017. Six months after purchase the ice dispenser stopped working. We contacted Samsung support and they sent a repairman to fix the fridge and after a great deal of time waiting for a part the dispenser worked. 12 months later the ice dispenser ceased to work so we contacted Samsung once again and were directed to another repair firm who said the dispenser was faulty and we had to wait once again for a new part. By this time I was worried that our warranty would expire but the Samsung repairer assured me we would still be covered because it was always the same problem. Now time has passed and we started to find small pieces of white plastic mixed with our ice, a month later and the dispenser has ceased working. We have contacted Samsung once again requesting a new fridge not a repair this time. Samsung said they would contact their assessor which they haven’t so we did. The assessor have said they would contact Samsung and get back to us again this did not eventuate. We feel we are right back at square one with a faulty fridge.
Purchased four new stainless steel appliances together in 2013 one being the Samsung french door refrigerator. I was warned about this from a few of my friends as they made that mistake and had extensive problems with ice maker and water dispenser. Despite their warnings, I bought one anyway believing theirs were non-typical occurrences and ours would be fine based on how much they cost. In less than a year, the ice maker failed and refused to work at all - had worked intermittently prior to then, but I chipped ice off the auger thinking that was just a fluke. Unfortunately, I did not feel like spending an additional $350 for more coverage on a brand new item and trusted it would last longer, so we go without ice.Next, loud noise coming from a fan which worsened over less than two weeks, then stopped altogether. Now fridge at 45 deg and warm items, primarily noticeable with the milk. Secondly, under normal use, the door flapper between the doors failed and has to be held with a hand to shut! Finally bit the bullet and called Sears where we purchased it and scheduled service. After trying to sell us a monthly service agreement for all appliances promising 50% off if we signed, I opted for just the repair which was an apparent plugged auto defrost drain hose which caused ice to build up around fan and fails to permit cooling. $500 + dollars later they have parts on order with a repair date of 12/10. All this for a NEW fridge. Samsung sucks and I regret selling the old reliable simple fridge that came with the house and was already 10+ years old at least!! I will definitely deter anyone from buying Samsung refrigerators when I can - garbage and I truly believe are built to fail which guarantees more money for their parts (job security) and their retailer for service costs - in this case Sears. BUYER BEWARE - DO NOT PURCHASE SAMSUNG!!!
The idea of a flexible double oven was appealing and why I bought this oven. But it doesnt work as well as I thought. With the divider in and only heating the top oven, the bottom still gets hot. It just doesnt isolate the two spaces well enough.
I really want to share my bad experience with Samsung Microwave Model ME18H704SFS/AC. I wish I would google Samsung microwaves before buying one. I just read report from people who bought microwave in February 2016. I bought mine on May 2, 2016 from Best buy in Vancouver Canada. I also bought 5 years warranty on this microwave. On 28th day after purchasing we tried to warm up bowl of soup (in microwavable dish), and we felt a burning smell coming from microwave. When I opened the door I discovered a fire on the right wall of microwave. I was able to stop the fire with kitchen towel. I cannot operate this microwave any longer because it is a fire hazard in my house.Same day I called to SAMSUNG customer service. They gave a case number and told me that somebody will contact me. Next day I called them again and they transferred me to some kind escalation department. The manager from escalation department said that if he will get pictures and receipt from me now, he will speed up the process. I emailed him pics and have not heard anything after that. On Monday, I called again to customer service. The manager told me that she could not find me in her database, she also said that they were not able to open up my pictures. I told her to transfer me to the escalation department. After 30 min wait I was able to talk to a guy who confirmed receiving pictures. He also was able to open them up. He told me that he sent my case to the Head office. I asked him why nobody sent me a simple email with acknowledgement of receiving my email. He did not have any answer for me. I asked him what is the reasonable time to get an answer from Head office. At the beginning he said 48 hours and then he did not know. He also said that he has no idea what kind outcome I should expect. And just to add to this story... I called to the insurance provider for Best Buy. They told me that they cannot touch my microwave because it is a factory defect which appeared in first 30 days. I am not even upset anymore. This company is a joke. Samsung really needs to get a lesson for producing dangerous and unreliable appliances and treating consumers so poorly. I will wait for 48 hours (legally you have to give them some time to rectify the situation). If Samsung will not replace their lousy microwave I will take this matter to Small Claim Court and I really want to.
We bought the Samsung French doors with a bottom freezer. The ice tray went out in about a year. Three years later, the contents in the refrigerator started freezing. We had a repairman look at it. He said it would cost $1200.00 to fix it. So after four years we had to purchase another refrigerator. OMG how disappointed. We will never buy Samsung anything again.
Bought on Black Friday 2011, waited 4 months for delivery. Six months later, noticed that the freezer door wasnt opening easily or closing all the way. Discovered the bottom of unit under the freezer door had ice building up underneath it. Busted it up & got it all out, freezer drawer worked perfectly. Few weeks later, it started all over again. Called Lowes, where it was purchased, & they told me no warranty, as it was now year since purchase date. My argument was that I had not actually had possession of it for a year, only 8 months. Got nowhere with Lowes, so every few weeks I get on my hands & knees & break all of the ice out of the bottom.I cant find any water leaks & have no idea where the freezing water comes from. Also want to mention that a piece of the cover for the above ice maker fell off at approx 6 months, and a piece of the bottom ice maker did the same at around a year. Got a great Black Friday price for this $2,800 refrigerator, but I wouldnt give 2 cents for another one!! My fridge before this was 14 yrs old & was Kenmore, it was ugly & outdated but worked way better than this new Samsung!!!
