Samsung Washer Model WA47CG3500AWA4 Error Codes

CODE: LO or FL
PROBLEM: Door lock error
FIX: Check the wiring connections to the door lock/switch, and tighten if needed. Forcing the door open might damage the door lock / switch, which is often made of plastic. However, it is simple to replace and much less expensive than calling a technician.

CODE: ds
PROBLEM: Door is not locked
FIX: If the washer won't start, the ds code might appear, signaling that the washer door is open and the lock is malfunctioning. Use the diagnostic test mode to check the door lock / switch assembly. If that shows the lock is defective, replace it.

CODE: dc
PROBLEM: Unbalanced load
FIX: The dc code means the load has been detected as unbalanced during the final spin. Cancel the cycle, or just let it end. Redistribute the load, and re spin.

CODE: Sud (F70)
PROBLEM: Too many suds
FIX: Allow the suds to settle, and move to the spin cycle. Rewash the clothes using no detergent, and then clean your washer.

CODE: lE
PROBLEM: Water level sensor failure
FIX: First, unplug the washer, and check the wire harness connections between the water level sensor and the main control board. If the IE code still appears after plugging the washer back in, the water level pressure sensor should be replaced.

CODE: nF
PROBLEM: Water fill problem
FIX: Check that the water supply faucets behind the washer are fully open and kink free. The lines can also freeze if the washer is exposed to low temperatures. The code might also appear if the water inlet fill valves are defective and need replacement.

CODE: LE
PROBLEM: Low water level during cycles
FIX: Water level drops can be caused by leaks in the washer tub or an improperly installed drain line, which can siphon water out of the washer. Reinstall the drain line, and try filling again.

CODE: OE
PROBLEM: Overflow or too high water levels
FIX: A washer that is overfilled is usually caused by water inlet valves that are not shutting off the water flow properly. Replace the water inlet valve assembly.

CODE: nF1
PROBLEM: Hot and cold water lines are reversed
FIX: Connect the hot and cold water fill hoses correctly on the back of the washer.

CODE: tE
PROBLEM: Water temperature is either too high or too low
FIX: Run the diagnostic test mode to check the water temperature that the control board is sensing. If the actual temperature is significantly different, the temperature sensor or thermistor should be replaced.

CODE: nd
PROBLEM: Water will not drain
FIX: If the washer fails to drain within fifteen minutes, check the washer drain filter and drain hose for a clog or restriction. If the drain pump is defective or damaged, replace it.

CODE: E2
PROBLEM: Stuck key on control board
FIX: Try to free the key by gentle force. If you can't free the key, replace the user interface control board (also called the sub PCB control board).

CODE: 3E
PROBLEM: No signal from the drive motor tachometer
FIX: Unplug the washer. Check the wire harness connections on the drive motor and the electronic control board. If the wiring connections are sound, the drive motor or the tachometer usually needs to be replaced.

CODE: 2E
PROBLEM: Internal control board failure
FIX: Unplug the washer for five minutes to reset the electronic control board. Plug the washer back in. If the code returns, replace the electronic control board.

CODE: AE
PROBLEM: Communication error between the main PCB and sub PCB in the control panel
FIX: Check the wire harness connections between the PCB control boards in the control panel. If the wiring connections are sound, replace one or both of the control boards.

CODE: SF
PROBLEM: Main PCB error
FIX: Unplug the washer for five minutes to reset the electronic control board. Plug the washer back in. If the code returns, replace the electronic control board.

CODE: Hr
PROBLEM: Heater relay failure
FIX: The heater relay is a component on the main PCB control board. Unplug the washer for five minutes to reset the main PCB control board. Plug the washer back in. If the code returns, replace the main PCB control board.

This is a follow up to a previous complaint I had with a Samsung French door refrigerator model # RF267ABRS. We had found our food thawed in the freezer part even though temp reading was at -2 F. I searched the web and found a repair tip to pull out unit and remove back cover. I did this and found that the coils were covered in lint and dog hair, we have dogs. The fan blade to cool the coils was also dirty and the water sump was full. I vacuumed as much of the build-up I could out of there, then unplugged the unit and used a small air compressor I have for sport balls and tires to blow out as much dust from the coils as I could. I then carefully cleaned off the fan blades with hot water and dish soap, with a sponge. The blades are plastic so I took my time. It will make a mess to clean up, but it should probably be done yearly, spring cleaning (Mine is about 3 years old and most complaints come after 2 years). I also removed the water from the drip pan under the coil with the small wet/dry vac I used. I plugged the unit back in and put the cover back. The freezer seems to be working. I will buy a thermometer to put in there to keep an eye on it as I do not trust the readout on the fridge itself. The site I used also said I should remove all items from the unit and let it sit unplugged with all doors open for 24 hours. This is to clear any drains blocked with ice. This will only work if you have a second refrigerator to put your food in to keep cold, which I do not. My issue is that there should be an error code on the readout of the unit that instructs a cleaning of the coils is due yearly, since this is a $2,500.00 unit!

1 - Found it was not functional upon installation (2days after shipped from Samsung.com). Cuts off and clock resets. 2 - Were told we’d get a cb 24-48h with repair appt ,,, and no callback. 3 - Was away but called 6 days later because of no cb,,, given ticke t#. 4 - Repair showed up 2 days later and no Eval done because unit wasn’t uninstalled (no one said to uninstall it). Given appt for another week.5 - Repair came out a week later and said product had damaged frame inside unit causing fan to hit some other machinery inside,,, Needed to refund/replace. 6 - Called 24h later and was adv tooo late to refund or replace,,, that WE waited too long to do that. Referred to Warranty services in TX. 7 - Tyrone/warranty dept states Repair’s documentation isn’t clear about who or what damaged the unit….warranty voided. We are the not so proud owners of a brand new broken microwave and I felt compelled to warn others. 494 bucks is 494 bucks and the fact is we paid them for a broken product and they didn’t make it right. That’s completely unethical. Shame on Samsung. Shame.

We bought this DW80F600UTS dishwasher in Feb. 2014 from Home Depot. Since then we are having problems with this unit. After about 2 months the unit stopped working and we called Samsung and the technician came and did not do anything. I called Samsung again and this time they changed all a lot of parts and sensors. I told Samsung that this unit is faulty and needs replacement. After fixing this issue after a couple of months the dishwasher stopped working again and would stop without completing the cycle. Once again the technician came and fixed the issue. Now after the warranty was over we had another issue the OE error code. This time Samsung refused to pay labor. In spite of several calls and long waiting for three weeks Samsung did not even bother to respond. This DW is a piece of garbage and please do not buy this. Even Samsung does not want to stand behind their own product.

I had this Samsung bottom freezer refrigerator less than 4 years when things started to go wrong. First, the refrigerator part started to freeze all the vegetables in the vegetable bin. Then the freezer part just stopped working . The alarm bells did not go off or any other signs until I could smell the food that started to go bad (this was in the garage). I am so disappointed in Samsung that I will never buy another appliance from them again. Never!

Same thing, different person. Fridge Model RF217ACRS, manufactured in 2011. Problem started in 2014. Samsung refuses to pay for repair even though original chat transcript with Samsung Support inferred they will stand behind their product, after creating a ticket for me even though the fridge was out of warranty. Problem Description: Fridge coils freezing up, causing fan to rub on ice making a loud noise. Defrosted it multiple times, problem comes back within a week or 2. A&E Services wanting to charge $361 for the repair of what they claim is a $12 sensor. A&E Factory Services tech also told me that this is the cause of 90% of the problems reported regarding Samsung refrigerators. My guess... A&E and any other Samsung Authorized Service Center is being paid off by Samsung to cover-up the actual fault, which may lie with the evaporator, as if the water is drained/evaporated correctly, should not build up as ice on the coils, in my unprofessional opinion. Keep in mind, the evaporator is covered under the Samsung 5-year warranty, but the $12 sensor is not, and their repair techs will charge you out the *you know what* ($360) to replace it. I will never buy another Samsung device as long as I live, and I will steer all my friends and family away from them.

I had bought Samsung fridge freezer side by side and bought quite early as it was on special offer and our home had just started the renovation. So when the delivery came did not open as we put trust on the consumer products and because it was dusty in the house. I just kept it in the box. Once the renovation was done opened the box so excitedly and what do I see? Big dent on the door and small dent on the side of the fridge. We rang Samsung straight away and explained to them what we found and why we delayed on opening the box. But they did not want to know as it was over 28 days. I ask them to just replace the door and that has big dent but No. We have families and friends come to visit us and they see the dent on the door and they laugh. Not on us but on Samsung, and they say See SAMSUNG ARE NOT GOOD.There is no reliability that Samsung offers to their customers after the product is sold. Reading all the other reviews, looks like these problems are just a beginning. I have Samsung products that we have are phones, TV, DVD recorder. We have had issue only with our Samsung fridge freezer, but with this experience we promised ourselves not to purchase any Samsung merchandise in the future. Very very poor service from Samsung home appliance and customer relations. But hey guess what if any of the staff or any other higher position and CEO family and friends had problem they would have helped them with one click.

We purchased our Samsung RF32MWDBSR at HHGREG on 10/12/2014, in Fort Wayne Indiana, am I thankful we purchased the 5 years warranty, never planned to have to use a warranty on such an expensive item but for weather considerations on a $2749.00 model you will consider. I paid an additional $449.99 for 5 yrs warranty to which is SLOW AND SLOWER to have repairs done. This is my 3rd complaint and according to their 3 complaints and Ill replace it with a NEW ONE I am waiting to see. I am not happy with this model. It has had so far, our first repair was on 7/23/2015 when compressor 66A and 34 A went out. E23/ Cond Fan error & Main PCB FAILURE. All this occurred the 1st time, then it would not cool equally as said to be in manual. We called in 2nd complaint they refused to send a repair man out. They made issue to call the other warranty program and give us the runaround. We called the other and nothing happened, then after 6 months they finally issued a check for loss of food for $200 which didnt even come close to all we lost two times. The refrigerator still has a flood of issues they wont fix. I have again just today decided to call in again and ask for a ticket order, all automated, with a 999-999-9999 number to call. Its a joke!! I put in for now a third service call because freezer ice maker is dead for 3 months cause they lost my last service ticket AGAIN... oh my! Well all I can say is Samsung offers no help whatsoever, on this faulty model and have no plans to help their customers who have a 5 yr warranty out either. I would love to sue them! It is beyond a recall when their product cant run for more than 8 months between major repairs. THEY LIE ABOUT WARRANTY CALL INSURANCE. They do not stand behind their product. PLEASE BUYERS BEWARE!

I purchased a Samsung refrigerator on May 1. It has not been operating properly from the very first day. It froze everything in my refrigerator on two occasions and now it maintains a temperature of 55, which is above the safe level. The repair guy did nothing. It makes a very loud noise on the freezer side that can be heard in the whole apartment. I know something is wrong, but when the repair guy came, it was not making the noise and the food was not frozen so I was advised to just turn it off and plug back in because everything was computerized and it was impossible for him to tell what was wrong. Im going to have to junk it and get me a GE (what I had before). I will never buy another Samsung product.

Samsung refrigerator RF263AEBP - I have had this refrigerator for about 4 years now and it has had problems from a little after its first year. It would defrost everything for a couple of days and then start working again. This went on for months and I just figured it was a weird glitch. Then it started this loud grinding sound from the refrigerator section and it acted like it finally died. I called a repairman and he looked inside and said it was the fan but he couldnt work on it because the fan was frozen solid. He told me to leave it open for a few days while he ordered the part. I lost all of my groceries I had just bought. The repairman never seemed to get the part and after a month of no refrigerator, I plugged it back it and it worked perfectly fine for awhile. So this has been going on every few months until yesterday. The refrigerator wont cool now -- its at 66 -- and the freezer is working perfect. I have had it with this refrigerator!

Samsung has a two year class action lawsuit against it and has known about its faulty icemakers for YEARS, but it continues to sell refrigerators that cannot be repaired. If you are lucky, your icemaker will work for the year it is under warranty. However, expect within six months after that first year, your icemaker will freeze and require constant thawing by a blowdryer. You can pay $250-$500 for a service fee for the technician to inform you that there is NO repair and NO replacement. Your only option is to continue to thaw the icemaker area with a blowdryer EVERY DAY! RUN, do not walk, RUN as fast as you can from Samsung refrigerators!

I bought the Samsung French 4 door refrigerator October 29, 2015 but it was not delivered until November 21, 2016. None in stock at Jetsons Appliance Center. In November 4, 2016 I called to question the ice cube maker not making cubed ice and having water come out with the ice. I did what they suggested but no help. Then started the paper and date trail. They did send someone to fix it in Dec. and said that it was out of warranty but would accommodate. The service company has been here 4 times and they are sending them out a 5th time but now say that the warranty starts from purchase date so even though I started this within the year it was in my possession this was the best they can do. Do they really only warranty from purchase date, why pay for their product until installed then?

I purchased a Samsung french door refrigerator model #RF23HCEDBSR/AA at Home Depot on July 4, 2016 to replace my still working 23 year old Kenmore refrigerator/freezer. I also purchased a 2 year extended warranty on it. Two weeks ago I noticed anything liquid being refrigerated was freezing solid. Internet research says most likely the main control board has failed and will need to be replaced. The part runs about $130. I contacted Home Depot and they gave me the purchase order number but claim that I didnt purchase an extended warranty. Unfortunately, I cant locate my receipt. I did register the fridge with Samsung. I contacted Samsung and they advised me the fridge was out of warranty. To have it serviced would cost $160 just to come to my home and diagnose it. Parts and labor would be extra. So Im looking at a minimal of $300 to fix something that shouldnt have crapped out after fifteen months. After reading that thousands of other US consumers are dealing with similar issues with their Samsung appliance purchases, Im convinced this will be my last Samsung purchase until they make good on customer complaints and take action concerning quality control.

The refrigerator crispers have water in them after a defrost cycle. I was told by the factory that it is just out of warranty. I researched the same problem other people had so I could try to fix the problem. I removed the back cover and installed a short wire into the drain and wrapped it around the defrost heater because the drain line is icing up but a month or so later the same problem is happening again. Samsung refrigerators are junk and there should be a recall because this is a factory defect.

Not sure which model I have as the user manual is for all three, but after reading the reviews I guess it doesnt matter much. We bought the dishwasher, along with a suite of Samsung appliances, refrigerator (one service call that took over a month and three visits to fix), microwave, stove and the wall of water dishwasher slightly more than a year ago. Well I know why they call it a wall of water, as that is what you will find on your floor! Weve had two service calls at a cost of $160 on the dishwasher and now, based on the horrendous number of reviews and stories have decided that putting more money in it is foolish. The Samsung dishwasher is the most expensive dishwasher weve ever owned and proves that old saying you get what you pay for is dead wrong.

I am sitting here one week after having our new Samsung dishwasher delivered and unable to install it because of a couple of brackets and screws that were not shipped with the unit. Upon delivery, the delivery company opened the box and we inspected for damage...none. That was great. We set it aside for installation later in the week, (after a new kitchen floor was to be installed.) When I proceeded to install today discovered that the included parts other than the kick plate were nowhere to be seen. Contacted Samsung... They directed me to the Samsung/Home Depot centre. Their answer “Sorry, not reported within 24 - 48 hours.” Are you kidding me? For the lack of a few parts costing less than $5 they would rather have me return it to Home Depot! Home Depot is now trying to work with them. I simply cannot believe the bureaucratic nonsense and lack of common sense.

I have a Samsung Refrigerator, model number RS265TDRS, shortly before the warranty expired the coils started freezing with ice causing the unit not to cool. Since then, it has happened three more times. Each time, I have paid for services, repair and food replacement. Samsung customer service said there isn’t anything they can do but send another tech at my expense. Spoke to a representative who said Samsung couldn’t do anything for me since my warranty has expired. Since it is the same part that Samsung suffered a lawsuit in 2010, I strongly believe this issue has not been resolved in newer models either. My model was not part of the lawsuit. It’s time for a major recall!

Own a French door Samsung Fridge and water accumulates and freezes at bottom of fridge. Have to empty the fridge, take back panel out and thaw out drain line which will probably freeze again shortly. Sears, where the fridge was bought, claim to have never heard of problem however internet is full of complaints and there are several Youtube videos in how to fix problem. Had issues with brand new unlocked Samsung phone and after spending hours writing Emails and calling service center went out and bought Motorola phone. Samsung service is pathetic and will NEVER buy another Samsung product as long as I live. I have since bought a TV, a tablet, two phones, a dishwasher, washer and dryer all brands other than Samsung. How a company can be so arrogant and probably successful is beyond me. I asked clerk to speak to a superior and she said that she did not report to anyone and was given email for headquarters. Receive same form email back, total waste of time. Spent two hours to repair fridge, threw out food and if it freezes again I will cut my losses and buy a new one (this one was $2K).

I received 2 confirmations by phone on this and they (SEARS) sent a service person over to do the return report. I awaited Sears to arrange the replacement BUT instead they reneged after I called them to find out status. Some malarkey about, We dont take fridge back due to faulty ice maker issues... even though they replaced or fixed it several times only to have the problem recur.I have both the factory warranty and the optional Sears on this proximate 2-yr-old EXPENSIVE unit. I have advised Sears by phone that I will take them to court unless they exercise good faith on assurances, promises and warranties. Anyone else out there with endless ice maker issues Id like to know.

Samsung Model DW80J3020UB - I notice several weeks ago that it wasnt drying properly. Couple of nights ago I was getting ready to go to bed when I noticed the dishwasher was still running in the heavy cycle which we never use. I tried to stop the dishwasher but couldnt, it kept going back to the heavy wash cycle. Then the door latch broke and dishwasher thinks its in the wash cycle with the door open. I didnt want to go to bed with fear of the dishwasher start in the wash cycle and flood the kitchen. I took the door panel off and cut the wires going to the motor and the motor kept running, got the door to close with motor still running. Got up the next morning motor not running, went to Lowes and bought a Bosch dishwasher. This Samsung dishwasher was bought in Nov 2015. After reading several other reviews I had to add this to warn people not to buy a Samsung dishwasher. PS Lowes does not carry Samsung. Any more wonder why.

Samsung OTR microwave Model SMH9207st - Wow, where to begin! I believe I bought this microwave in August of 2013. I will explain later why I dont know the exact date. In December of last year I got the dreaded SE code. I called Samsung (after reading all the horrible reviews about my microwave) and told them I was getting the dreaded code. They said since my microwave was over a year old, the warranty had expired and there was nothing they could do. I asked to speak to superiors and went through four of them and they all told me there was nothing they could do. Sooo I threw away the receipt, the owners manual and the mounting screws. He took down the microwave and I told him to take the stupid thing to the dump. Luckily he hadnt done it yet because a couple days later I received an email from Samsung saying that they were going to pay for a one time parts and labor fix.A company called me and set up date and time to come out. The tech came out and noticed that my microwave had scratches in the bottom and said it was a fire hazard and he didnt know if they would fix or not. I have heard online about the glass plate wobbling so maybe that is how it got scratched. They called back and said they ordered a new door and I would have to pay for the coating paint to cover the scratches and also the mounting screws. Tech came out and the door had the wrong connections and wouldnt work. Had to reorder. Came out today, replaced the door in a couple minutes and told me he was through...everything was working...clock, light, etc. As he walked out the door I opened the door and closed it and it DIED! I called him back in and he made a phone call and said he would have to reorder another door! Going on almost three months so far and still no working microwave. Luckily a friend had an OLD $50 microwave that she let me use and it has worked wonderfully! I need to know how to join class action lawsuit. I just want a different microwave! FRUSTRATED!

I try to be a responsible informed consumer before making a pricey purchase. I took the plunge and bought a Samsung refrigerator Model #RS261MDBP 05/2014. The first refrigerator delivered had a golf ball size dint on front right door. Immediately delivery company informed Samsung and the refrigerator was replaced approximately a week later. My grown children were home at time of delivery while I was out of town caring for sick family member. I came home a month afterwards and noticed three dints on right door as if someone placed and replaced their hands there to push refrigerator in place. I also noticed the ice maker wasnt making much ice. I read the troubleshooting section of manual and made adjustments of temperature and rearranged food in freezer. At this time condensation was accumulating in freezer and food in fridge was spoiling. Once again I adjusted temperatures to no avail. I contacted Samsung which a repair company came out and said that model came off assembly with the issues I was having due to some faulty parts. Little over six weeks later the same problems started all over again. Another company came and fixed a totally different problem. Two weeks later ice maker still wasnt producing ice properly, milk spoiled, and condensation started accumulating in freezer again. Samsung was informed of all the issues Ive had since receiving their product. Eventually after many phone calls, emails with proof of purchase and pictures they agreed to a partial reimbursement, deducting 10% per month after 1 year ownership. My very first new refrigerator and it was heartbreaking. I will not buy another Samsung appliance.

I purchased a Samsung refrigerator, (Model #RS22HDHPNBC), June 16th, 2017 from Home Depot. The purchase price at that time was $2059.74. This was the second purchase of the same Samsung model which indicates that I was moderately pleased with the first refrigerator. Exactly one year and twenty days from the purchase date, July 6th, 2018, both the freezer and refrigerator stopped functioning. On July 6th, 2018 I contacted Samsung Customer Care to report the problem. I received an email from Customer Care notifying me of the assigned ticket number and an authorized service center. On July 11th the service center, Lakes Electronics, made the first service call to address the problem. It was determined the u/v dryer should be replaced and said part was ordered. On July 13th the repairman returned to replace the u/v dryer and recharge the system. On Tuesday, July 17th I noticed neither the refrigerator or freezer sections were adequately cooling. On July 19th the Lakes Electronics repairman returned and determined the evaporator should be replaced. He ordered the part and indicated it should be in the following week. He advised us that he would be on vacation and we chose to wait on his return for installation since he was familiar with all that had previously transpired. He was to return the week of July 30th. On July 20th the repairman texted me and informed me he had spoken to his office about ordering the evaporator and all should be ready for installation upon his return. On Monday, July 30th I was informed that Lakes Electronics did not have the part. Wednesday, August 1st I was told the evaporator would be delivered to the service center by Thursday the 2nd of August in the afternoon. On Saturday, August 4th the Lakes representative came to install the evaporator. He discovered the wrong part had been shipped from the Samsung warehouse and it would be necessary to reorder the part. Wednesday, August 8th the part was delivered to Lakes Electronics warehouse in Gainesville at 10:57 AM. On Thursday, August 9th the repairman returned to my home to install the reordered evaporator. On Friday, August 10th I noticed the unit was not sufficiently cooling or freezing and notified the repairman. On Tuesday, August 14th the repairman made another service call to conduct additional tests. He then determined the refrigerator was not repairable and furnished me with an exchange number, (**), furnished by Samsung. Wednesday, August 15th I called the Customer Care department and spoke to Linda. I was told I had no recourse since the refrigerator was just over one year old even though the sealed refrigeration system has a five (5) year warranty by Samsung. If the unit is deemed to be not repairable by your authorized service representative I would argue that it should be replaced or a refund issued under the coverage specified by the warranty on the sealed refrigeration system.I am extremely disappointed in Samsungs lack of concern and failure to stand behind their warranty. I have not even mentioned that I was without use of a refrigerator for 38 days due to the inefficiency of the staff or the service center. I can assure you that Samsung has lost a customer, (three major Samsung products), and I will no longer recommend any of Samsung products to anyone.

Add my 2-year old Samsung french door model #RF23HCEDBWW to the countless refrigerators whose ice makers freeze up and become inoperable. Customer service at Samsung was useless as my refrigerator is out of warranty AND their customer service rep had no knowledge of any freezer ice-up issues. I referred her to Samsungs own website and its 17 pages of complaints. ONLY recourse scheduling repair service and having to pay out of pocket for a chronic, well documented, flaw in this product. I purchased model NE59J7850WS/AA. It was not heating properly and I called to have it serviced. When the service tech came out he stated that they had several problems with this unit and thats just the way it was. He didnt even have a thermometer with him to check if the oven was heating properly. After using my own thermometer he made a few calls and replaced the entire board in the back. Its working better but does not heat evenly. The newest issue is that the glass top is really hard to keep clean. Ive had glass top stoves before and never had a problem like this. We called service and was told if it isnt a manufacturer defect we would have to pay for the service call. I think the most insulting thing was she was trying to tell us we didnt know how to clean the cooktop. I will never purchase another Samsung product. I dont believe they are a quality product.

Our new puppy likes to counter surf and has turned on the knobs several times but even before that we have done it ourselves by bumping into them. The most recent time caused a small fire. I am very upset. There are Zero safety devices that will fit this design knob. My only option is to remove the knobs when not cooking and its hard to get the whole family to comply with that. This product (Slide in electric range model NE58F9500SS) should be recalled. I cant believe there have been so many reports of this and there is no fix and Samsung has done nothing.

I like the fact that that you can have two separate oven space with two different temperature settings or one large one. On top of the range are 5 burners & each one is a different size. The middle long burner is nice for a griddle. It would be nice if one of the smaller burners was up front. The large burner is a real power house & I seldom use it. When I do use it, the low setting is plenty & sometimes still too much. The oven door window is large enough to see in either top or bottom oven. The black top is hard to keep clean & with any stove the front knobs get splattered with grease but they come off for easier cleaning.

SAMSUNG DMT800RHB - Multiple repairs from initial start-up. Substandard materials failing prematurely with insurance related home repairs that should fall upon manufacturer defect in engineering. Samsung knew they had engineered failures into this product so to eliminate defect they had safeguards like leak sensors built in. If you have one of these appliances out of warranty I would suggest cutting your losses and buying a different brand. Do not follow Consumers Digest, this was the consumers best buy, top of their reports at the time. If Samsung dishwasher stock is high its not because of quality, but ripping off the consumers.

I bought refrigerator and washing machine. Both have 5 year guarantee. But unfortunately I face a trouble, first with the washing and after that with refrigerator. As I informed them on phone that I faced this trouble with both products and need them to be repaired. They said, Yes we can send repairer to fix but you need to pay for that if there will be your fault. I asked that how can I trust you? She was rude and answered me, Maam technician will see then let you know and if he said that its your fault then you have to pay him the inspection fees, and along with that if I want to fix that so for that I have to pay again. That was very embarrassing for me.Now my machine is leaking water with every wash, and my refrigerator also not working specially its freezer. This will be the second summer Im facing this problem. They are not ensuring anything. So regret to buy these products. I recommend everyone to not to buy Samsung products because at the time of selling they promise for everything but if we face any trouble they show us terms and conditions. Their motive is to sell the product not to provide after buying satisfaction to the customers.

I will likely never purchase Samsung home appliances as they have been unreliable, service technicians do not recommend, and my dealings with the manufacturer have been severely delayed, unresponsive, and unhelpful. I purchased my home 3 years ago in which the investor renovated inclusive of purchasing new home appliances. In 2020 my fridge went out, within the warranty timeframe. For 4 weeks, Samsung could not get a tech to come and service my refrigerator so they decided to provide me with a refund. I was never verbally informed by the manager to keep my fridge. I sent in my documentation and was told after my fridge was hauled away that I was supposed to keep the fridge. Customer support has been horrible, for months Ive tried resolving this issue. Samsung is not honoring the refund and I am out a grand as I replaced the appliance out of my personal funds. Ill never buy Samsung and will definitely tell my networks and other real estate constituents to stay away from these home appliances.

I bought a Samsung french door refrigerator two months ago on 5-22-2015. I noticed yesterday that the SAMSUNG letters on the front of the refrigerator were beginning to peel off. I emailed a complaint and got a call from customer service today. They claim this is physical damage and not covered by the warranty. I explained to the representative that I have been using a 3M stainless steel appliance cleaner with a microfiber cloth and there had not been any abuse to cause this to happen. She transferred me to a more senior representative who made the same claim. This is ridiculous!!! I have a Samsung stove and microwave that Ive had close to a year with no problems with the same lettering. Ive been a loyal Samsung customer owning Samsung TV, (2) Galaxy 6 phones, a microwave, and stove/oven. I was in the market for a Samsung dishwasher, washer and dryer but they have lost me as a customer.

Richard repair guy & again problem was lingering around. Last week, we called Samsung & ask for final help before we get rid of the dishwasher. Again, manager does not care for it. I guess Samsung does not care for their customers. We bought brand new dishwasher from P.C. Richard & they will haul this Samsung dishwasher & install the new Whirlpool one. I completely outfitted my kitchen with new, stainless (I thought!) top of the line Samsung appliances. The convection microwave oven board stopped working day one. I returned to store for completely new replacement. Within a week - the same issue. Board replaced four times. Last time just after one year. Problem continued during that time, but I couldnt miss work for repairman to come. Repair tech had said board problem caused from heat of stove. This is an above stove unit meeting all necessary height specs. As a courtesy Samsung offered $430 if I cut the cord and removed serial plate (13 months after purchase of a $700 product with $150 installation!!). I cant replace it for that amount. I also have gas convection range ($1500), the broiler doesnt work. The flames on one burner are HUGE (they licked around pan and caught dinner on fire!) And oven got so hot it MELTED the knobs - apparently they are not metal as they appear but a metal look skin that melts with heat and is also chipping off. Replacement of knobs = $150 only to have it happen again... Additionally my french door Refrigerator ($2800) with two drawers makes a super loud squealing noise. After discussing with a friend, found out she had the same problem with her Samsung appliances. DO NOT BUY!!! NO CUSTOMER SUPPORT or concern for satisfaction. My products are only 16 months old.

I bought our 4-door refrigerator in 12/11. About a month later, the right door bins started falling out. I called Samsung directly and ordered replacements. No problem. The wrong bins came so thinking I was responsible, I called and reordered them. About 3 weeks passed and I hadnt received them, so I called them again. I was told that the order hadnt been placed so I ordered them again. I still hadnt received them after another 3-4 weeks, so I called them again. I was told that they were ordered but they didnt know where they were? She placed the order again. Another month passed and I hadnt received them yet, so I called and asked to speak to their customer service department. The gentleman assured me that they were backordered (never heard that before) and that they were now in stock and he would ship them immediately. I called the following week to make sure that they had been sent. Some lady assured me that they were shipped on the 15th of September. That was September 15, 2011, today is 9/29/11. I havent received them yet so I called and asked for customer service again. This time, I got their executive customer service rep. I was told that their records showed I had received some bins in early July of 2011. No record of my corrected order. I explained to her that those were the wrong bins and that I had made several calls after that, reordering the correct bins. She just didnt know what happened but assured me that she was looking in to it. I had explained everything to her and then she asked me for my email address and said she would send me one regarding the circumstances. I asked her for a direct call instead and she said she could not make out going calls? That was this morning. Still no email. I called Sears, explained to them what had been going on. They said they had my warranty info and would send them out immediately. He repeated the description to me 3 times so there are no mistakes. He gave me his full name and direct number too. We always buy Sears products and I dont know why we bought the Samsung. Ill never do it again. They dont support their product in anyway. The only reason I gave it one star is because of the size. This series DW80F600 dishwasher showed signs of high temperature heating errors when it was only 10 months old. We called support and were told that it would cost a certain amount ($273.43 to be exact) to have someone come and look at the machine. Just look at it, not fix it! WE went ahead and had them look at the problem and of course, the part needed wasnt under any sort of warranty. Now just over a year old and we are are stuck with a $498.75 bill for a machine that still doesnt work. The error lights came back on the very next day! We could have purchased a brand new dishwasher for much less and gotten much better results. I am warning all who think purchasing this machine, to rethink that plan!! This 16-month-old Samsung microwave had the dreaded SE error code. I tried unplugging it to recycle and nothing worked. After reading all of the reviews, I knew I was doomed. I called Sears only to find out it was a common problem. And, as the previous complaints say, it will cost more than a brand new one to fix. I also read where it was a known problem with the keyboard circuit and yet Samsung still would not give the consumer a break by recalling it. I then read one entry in Google regarding the problem which said to hold the cancel and reset button down at the same time. I didnt have those buttons, but held down the clear and start buttons at the same time - say 3 seconds, at most. Well, I held on for dear life for about 20 seconds. All of a sudden, the unit started beeping. I let go - and oh, my God, it reset! It seems to be working fine now! This is obviously a scam by someone. Otherwise, why is this fix not mentioned anywhere? It looks like I stumbled across a $300 secret. Hopefully, this helps others. By the way, even if a tech came out and was able to do the same thing, it still would have cost the $75. What a shame.

Samsung RF267AERS - We have the same problem countless others have had: water/ice pooling under and behind the deli and fresh food bins, as a result of the drain tube freezing up and not allowing proper drainage to the pan somewhere below. Samsung is staffed by a bunch of ignorant, talking heads who will tell you theyve never heard of this problem. If youre out of warranty (our unit is in the 3-4 year range), they will offer you something called Rescue Repair for $400 (at least, thats what they quoted us). This would be a great class action suit for a law firm because there are so many people who would love to join. I have a 3 year old Samsung refrigerator that went out Labor Day weekend. We had a total loss of food due to this. I contacted Samsung they set us up with one of their contractors on a priority call. With that said it took them 7 days to come over, the repair person said his leak detector for Freon did not work so he came back the next day. No leak was found so they would next step order a new dryer for the unite. That took 8 more days to come in. When the 2ND repair person came with the dry he first re checked for a leak and out it in the sealed system. So the dryer was not even needed. He sent the information via his phone to Samsung that day and told me I would be contacted with in 48 hours. Well I tried to contact Samsung and let them know the 48 hours was up and after 1 and on half hours on hold I finally was able to speak to a person. That gave me a new case number and ask for receipt information to be sent via eFax once again the 48 hour rule goes in. No call back so I take the one hour and forty five minutes to call back. Finally have the correct person on phone that tell me what the first person said was not correct and I needed to email the information to her. I told her we have gone 25 days waiting on them and not having any way to have cold food in out home aside from an ice chest and really was beyond frustrated at the lack of help I was getting, her response was it will take 48 hours to the buy back department to contact me. I ask if I could speak to the them or have a extension number to not have to spend that long on hold and constantly get a wrong area to pick up and was firmly told no! I informed the lady that if this was to be a buy back I would like to just know if it is okay to purchase a new refrigerator and would Samsung send me a check at some point to reimburse me. I was told in not a nice way I could buy anything I want but Samsung would set the terms as to how I would be paid that we must keep the dead unit until further information was sent to us. So here we are with nothing still - there is no excuse for this to happen. We have lost all food, cannot have or store food and really need a company that give a ___p.

DW80F600UTS dishwasher - Do not buy this dishwasher. If you do I hope you purchased an extended warranty. Broke 3 times in 2 years. Same code and part. Samsung did help repair it 1 time because the exact part broke in less than 3 months. Not a family use. Ran it only 3 to 4 times a week. Even put a filter on the well to prevent problems. Would like to sue them for making such a defective Lemon.

Purchased a black stainless “fingerprintless” less than 2 years ago and the freezer section stopped working. Called and they came out to fix it. Needed a new compressor and luckily for us it is a warranty item. Less than 2 months later same thing, freezer is not working. Needs ANOTHER compressor. They said we could get a new one. Big deal, who wants another headache? I’ve lost so much food and having to eat out while waiting to get it fixed is ridiculously expensive! I wish I could get my money back and go with a quality refrigerator. I am angry at myself because we bought this one to replace a Samsung piece of junk and I go and do this to myself when I swore I’d never buy another one. DO NOT BUY SAMSUNG APPLIANCES!!! I have a dishwasher too and I hate that as much as the refrigerator!

I had a very bad experience with all of my home appliances. All Samsung especially, fridge and washing machine. I bought all my new house appliances from Samsung just only a year ago and now the washer and fridge are completely broken. Samsung customer service sent to my house a technician who came to fix it 4 times. Each time he said I have to change a certain part of washing machine. He has replaced everything in washer (board - hose - door assembly - filters) and finally he said, It’s manufacturing problem and you have to ask Samsung customer service to replace it or compensate you, but now and after 2 months of suffering with them, they refused and they want to try again to fix it. The customer service said, This is our policy to try many times. I can’t believe myself. It is a bad system for bad company. I do not advise anyone to deal with this deceptive company.

Had dishwasher 2 years. My contractor handled first 3 service calls in time right after bought. He had family issues as well as me. Washer works intermittently long cycle > 4 hours then stops altogether not to mention water pools in bottom. I usually add bleach when I smell it. So I call because its Xmas and I cannot use washer other than as dish drying rack. Buy extended warranty. Call. Guy comes out. He can get it working, needed part. Comes back, puts new part in. Said normal 4 hr cycle. Mind you washer is 6-8 feet from Insta hot water heater. In California should be banned. No Appliance running water should run this long. Now its Easter and I have a dishwasher that runs hours! On normal cycle sold as energy efficient. Ha! Maybe if you add rage the times it does not work with the long cycle. And this is normal.

Just reached the 6th year of owning our Samsung Side by Side Refrigerator RM257ABSH which we paid nearly $3000. A&E (Sears) is the only repair option... I called every repair place and also asked for referrals to repair people they knew. The A&E repairman that found the leak in our coil was very knowledgeable, but the coil I paid for never came in. The appointment date came and went with no phone call. I called A&E, three or four times before I found out that their parts source no longer carries the coil and they had move my appoint from the 6th to the 20th of February. I called Samsung, since my fridge at this point has been down for 4 weeks and was given Customer Relations... after four business days of going back and forth between A&E and Samsung, I was told that the coil is no longer available and they would have to buy back my fridge. The A&E repairman during the service call told me coils are the most common problem with refrigerators... which means that when you buy an expensive refrigerator from Samsung, you cant count on them keeping parts past the 5 year warranty. The Customer Relations person told me it was past its 5 year warranty point that they carry parts. They offered me a buy back that is reduced by 10% per year. I could have fixed the fridge for $495, instead I trash a $3000 unit for a few hundred dollars... What a deal!!!!!The total repair cost by A&E was $495.00. I paid $185.00 down for parts and the service call. Now I am out of $1500-2500 for a new fridge and Samsung may give me a small buy back amount! My advice... Never, Never, Never buy a Samsung refrigerator because they may not carry your parts after the warranty. Their fix is to give you a few hundred bucks and send you on your way to your next purchase... which in my case will never be a Samsung!!!

I bought a brand new Samsung refrigerator 4 years ago and have had nothing but trouble with the icemaker. After doing a search on the Internet I found hundreds of complaints on the same issue. So I called Samsung and they sent out a technician. That technician told me it would be $1250 to fix because I was out of my one-year warranty. I would rather smash it with a hammer than pay that much for a icemaker. And I had to pay the technician $98 just to drive out here and tell me how much it would be to fix it.

Doing research and talked with a repair guy to see what the problem is, I took it apart on the inside and found frozen ice plugging the hole. Put hot water and melted the ice. I have done this twice and thought I fixed it, but the water continues to return. I have never bought this kind of fridge before. It looks nice but not a good appliance. I purchased a home 2 years ago and it had a newly installed Samsung over-the-range microwave installed. After only one use, it suddenly stopped working. The seller told me he got it at Lowes and so I took it back and they exchanged it with no problem. This microwave lasted about 18 months and started giving us the SE code. I got online and read all the problems these units are having. I tried unplugging and holding down certain buttons with no success. I am an electrician so I decided to just take it apart and see if I could see the problem. I had read about a connector that was the problem on one post so I started there. Be sure to disconnect power before working on it. After you remove the 2 vent screws and remove the vent, then take out the one screw that holds the keypad in. On the back of the pad there is a blue plug with one blue wire on one side and 2 white ones on the other. I disconnected this plug for about 30 seconds and plugged it back in and it started working now. I will see how long this will last.

We recently purchased Samsung Dishwasher Model #DW80K5050 that seemed visually fine on delivery. When we attempted to install it a week later, there was internal damage not visible from the outside. Samsung sent a rep to confirm the DW had likely been dropped to cause multiple internal issues. When we shared this with Build.com, they said they had no responsibility since damage was not reported in their 24-48 hr window EVEN THOUGH DAMAGE WAS INTERNAL and COULD NOT BE DETECTED FROM THE OUTSIDE. And when we reached out to Samsung they said their warranty doesnt cover new appliances that had never operated (i.e. delivered broken). So we are stuck with a yet to be installed dishwasher for which we just ordered replacement parts at our expense. I would avoid buying from Build.com that was unwilling to correct this situation despite nearly $20,000 of appliance purchases from them the past year alone. And I would also avoid purchasing Samsung appliances based on their customer service, or lack thereof.

Our Samsung RF220N refrigerator was delivered by Best Buy in May 2014. It failed in August 2018. It is now February 2019, and we are into month 6 of the warranty process, without satisfaction. Samsung Authorized repair people determined that the sealed refrigeration system had failed. This was 4 years and 4 months into the 5-year warranty for the closed system. The authorized repair people tried 4 times to repair the system with OEM parts. Each time it has failed within 36 hours. One set of OEM parts from Samsung arrived already broken inside the shipping box. The authorized service company has declared the refrigerator not-repairable using Samsungs own process, yet Samsung will not authorize a replacement or reimbursement, as provided by their own warranty.Samsung Customer Service prevaricates, obfuscates, misdirects, and does not return promised calls/texts/emails. They regularly deny my fridge is under warranty, despite my repeated submission of documentation. I have never spoken to the same person twice, and I suspect they use pseudonyms so contact info can be lost. They deny receiving my emails, and texts, and routinely claim that the last Customer Service person I talked to did not make any notes in the file. They have changed my claim ticket number 8 times. By the bye, the current number is in the 5 billion, 120 millions. That is over 16 claim numbers for every person in the US. At 8 numbers Ive fallen behind the national average. I suspect Samsung is delaying my claim until the warranty period has expired, and then they will deny all responsibility whatsoever. Our extended family has had several other Samsung devices fail: clothes washer, clothes dryer & DVD player. Need I mention the flammable self-combusting cell phones? Fortunately we never had the ice maker in this fridge connected to our plumbing, or we would likely have been in the claims process after only 1 year. Maybe we were unfortunate in that we might have ditched this faulty device long ago. I sincerely believe that a $1500 refrigerator should last longer than my electric toothbrush. We will never buy another Samsung product (yes, we are slow learners). Nevertheless, Never Again.

I spent over $400 to have back panel, evaporator and fan piece replaced. The tech advised that he does the repair often and it is a known quality issue. After purchasing all new matching appliances refrigerator, stove, microwave and dishwasher 2 yrs ago, the Refrigerator stopped making ice after a couple months of owning. Plus its the noisiest refrigerator, ever. Service rep. came in and defrosted it, and it began making ice again. Ice is always soft and water drips inside the lower compartment. Several calls for service rep, with same repair results, defrost. The week the warranty expired, same issue. Called manufacturer. Asked if there was a recall on the refrigerator. They said no. Unbelievable, poor engineering, there should have been. They offered a free repair service, with replacement of ice maker. Well completed job. Ice is a bit more solid, but ice maker still froze up within three months of replacement, sad. I will never buy another Samsung product. Very poor customer service too. Sold all appliances for a loss. Bought all new GE Appliances. Still Made In USA. Better warranty. They look and work great.

On February 4, 2017 we visited P.C. Richard and Son and we replaced all of our kitchen appliances with brand new Samsung appliances. In July while I was cleaning the glass cooktop on the range, which we purchased for $800, I noticed it was cracked. The crack appears to have started on the Rapid Boil burner and extended in all four directions to the edges of the top. I immediately contacted Samsung support, fully expecting that the damage would be repaired as the range was under warranty. With just two of us in the home, the range is lightly used and well cared for.The customer service agent asked that I send in pictures which I did that afternoon. I received a call from Samsung support looking for the photographs 3 days later – at that point I was told that the pictures would be reviewed and that they would get back to me. Three days later, I received a call from Williston TV and Radio Repair to arrange a time to come out to look at the stove. I expected that Samsung’s agent would be coming to repair the stove, however, when the representative arrived he took more pictures and told me to expect to hear back from Samsung in a few days.A few days went by and I was contacted by Williston and told that Samsung deemed the damage to be physical and as a result would not be covered under the warranty. I asked what the definition of physical damage entailed, and the definition I was provided was basically everything under the sun – cleaning solutions, inappropriate cookware, abuse, etc. In fact it seems that the definition is setup to protect Samsung even in the event of defect.Still in shock, I started to research to see if others experienced the same issue and I was surprised to find many complaints posted to sites online all had a similar story. I’ve attached some of the complaints along with our receipt to this letter. After finding that other consumers had a similar experience, I contacted Samsung to ask for a second opinion, I was told that would not possible so I asked to speak to a supervisor who told me that he would put in a work order for another opinion.Three days later I received a call back from Williston to setup a repair call – I explained that I was looking for a second opinion and was told by the representative that they were the only local Samsung agent and there would be no second opinions. Exasperated I inquired as to the cost to repair the cooktop thinking that a couple of hundred dollars out of pocket would be worth putting an end to this issue. I was informed that the cost to repair the range would be $400 - which is half the cost of range. Even if I pay for the repair, I have no guarantee that the replacement top would not have the same problem because I am convinced that product is defective. My husband and I have used glass cooktops since the 1980s and have never had a problem. The cookware we use has not changed, how we cook and care for the cooktop including cleaning fluids we use have not changed – and yet within 6 months this cooktop is completely ruined and is unusable and here we are in August and we can only cook using the oven and our microwave. I believe that Samsung has an obligation to stand behind its product and the warranty. I expect Samsung to fix the stove top or replace the range.

I got the SE code on the Samsung microwave and after reading the complaints here, I called Sears where we got it and had a tech come out. We were able to keep using it until then by holding the stop/clear and start/enter button. Then I got to the point where Id take off the panel and move the wires and it would work again. Also, using the timer/clock seemed to be the issue. Anyhow, Sears came out for $75 to tell me what I already knew (needed new key pad/control box) and it would be a total of $200 for them to repair it (its only a $200 microwave). But he did tell me how to replace it. I tried to get the part from Samsung and they wouldnt as it was just out of warranty (so dont waste your time trying). JJ Parts in NJ is the part dealer for Samsung. I called and got the part with shipping for $70. Installation was super easy: two screws on the top of the unit on the vent grill and then slide it out. Then there is one screw at the top of the control panel. Open the door and lift the control panel up and it comes right off. Then there are a few ribbon cables to take off and it is clearly marked when you need to install them on the new keypad. Someone noted never work on a microwave due to it holding onto a charge - yes, that is true, but youd have to go way into the machine. Unplug the unit obviously before doing this repair, but I cant see how youd possibly run into any issues with this super easy repair.

I spent big money on new kitchen upgrades - all Samsung (Fridge, dishwasher, Microwave, high-end range). A few months after using the range, the first knob broke. It LOOKED like stainless, same as the range itself, its plastic. Long story short, I had to replace ALL of the knobs in a short time. They MELT or crack, and when you need new ones, Samsung wants FIFTY BUCKS EACH for a piece of garbage plastic. Their customer service department couldnt give a darn (Im pretty sure I was speaking to someone in the Philippines with no power to help me.) I found copies online for $7.50 each, which I am waiting to arrive. Hopefully, they will fit at a fraction of the Samsung price. I just had delivered a Samsung side-by-side counter depth fridge. The ice maker took 3 days to make ice to fill the holder on the door. Water drips from the spout when you fill a glass with water. I have only had this fridge 3 days. The ice maker seems to be an issue with every model Samsung makes. I called customer service three times. I talked to even a supervisor that was not able to resolve my issue. Customer service does not know the operation of their products and had me on hold forever. I was told by a friend that owns the same model that the ice maker produces 7 ice cubes every 90 minutes, which explains why it took 3 days to fill. I also read the same information on a website. I took out the service plan after the 1-year warranty is over. Having to deal with Samsung has been nothing but a waste of time and a huge headache. I am still scratching my head wondering why they are rated the number one fridge on the market. I had an 18-year-old GE that I would gladly take back. It never had one issue. I just wanted to update my kitchen with stainless steel. I would never buy another Samsung appliance.

This Samsung Dishwasher model DMT300RFW never worked properly. Purchased in 2011, used less than 15 times during 4 years because made dishes dirtier instead of cleaner by spitting dark grease over them. Adjusted hot water temp as suggested, no improvement. This past year, stopped working. Grinding sound when turned on. Appliance repair person said problem was connected to the drainage pump with estimated cost of $200-250 to repair. Since the DW cost slightly over $300 on sale at Best Buy (tho my Worst Buy, ever--now I know why it was marked down to such a great sale price) I opted not to have it repaired. I couldnt even find anyone to take this almost new DW for free. Unfortunately, I still own a Samsung microwave & stove. (The repair guy cautioned me about boiling large pots of water on the stovetop under the microwave because rising steam is the major cause of the electronics of the microwave keypad ceasing to function.)What a major mistake not taking time to first research reviews, being swayed by great sale prices & a supposedly dependable name in technology. Samsungs technology expertise does not transfer over to their appliances. Also beware that some Kenmore appliances are now Samsung made. Ive just purchased a new GE DW from a small, been around for decades, reputable dealer because GE still has a good reputation. I will from now on stay clear of Samsung, or any brand, such as Kenmore, which may be Samsung in disguise.

This refrigerator has been nothing but a problem. After 3 years, we had to entirely replace the ice maker for over $200 in repairs (not covered by warranty). After 5 years, we had to repair the water dispenser. At exactly, 5 years and 4 months, the freezer died, 1 week later, the refrigerator died. It is out of warranty and Samsung does not provide any support. In our county, there is no longer a Samsung certified repair shop. No one will even touch it. Samsung finally referred us to A&E factory service, more than 40 miles away. They came out to do the diagnostic today (2 weeks after the freezer failed). The repairs for the broken evaporator are over $700. This was a $1,500 fridge purchased at Best Buy. Samsung has been very disappointing. I wish that I had read all of the negatives reviews regarding Samsung refrigerators before I purchased one. I have had water collecting in both veg/fruit drawers. After $250.00, I hope the problem has been corrected. The FF was freezing & leaking per info on repair ticket??? The repairman replaced the heat probe. He said that many of these have had to be replaced. The original ones were too short & they are being replaced with longer ones. This sounds as if there should have been a recall since he told me that he had replaced several with the newer type probe. I do not have any hope of anything being done by Samsung but it sounds as if they should have addressed this problem instead of denying that there is a problem.

Called my home warranty again. Sent out another guy. He couldnt figure it out, sent out another guy. Stated to unplug the fridge. Let it completely defrost and then plug it back in. It started working again, one month later bam now not only the ice maker isnt working the water isnt working. Called my home warranty again, they disconnected something that should have never been put in there. Started working again, now no ice again water works. Called Samsung, told them what I have been going through. They brushed me off. Spent over 1700.00 on this damn appliance that wont even make ice, the filter alone is 50.00 every 6 months to replace. Needless to say the bag of ice I have to buy every three days that cost 4.69, and Samsung just brushes you off. I am one pissed off consumer right now.

First, a representative was trying to repair it while on the phone. One of those, Mr. **, with very bad attitude. So, we turn off the circuit breaker for 30 seconds, then again for a minute but nothing. After another call, Samsung gave me a repair case number and said someone will call me. Waiting a few days, no one called but Cristina ** sent an email 3 days later to tell me I have to call to schedule the repair. Her office was closed at the time I read it, so I called the next day and left 4 messages. It seems she called in the afternoon and talked to my son who has a disability. My son didnt know much about what was going on, so Cristina decided to cancelled the ticket. I called her the next day to ask her why it was cancelled after I left so many messages but she didnt care, and told me to call Samsung to get another repair case number. This means to wait again a few more days. Now Cristina refuses to do the repair saying that I was rude, yes I was very upset, and Samsung does not have any other company to do the repair. The freezer seems to work but not the main Customer Service said they cant extend my warranty to cover this one issue because it has been out of warranty for too long. Seriously, 3 months for a $2400.00 refrigerator. Of course, I am going to pay to have it repaired. I advise anyone considering a Samsung fridge not to or pay for the extended warranty.

We bought our refrigerator about 2 years ago from Lowes. We too were told they were good refrigerators. Within 6 months, the seal around the freezer came loose and the glass on the meat door cracked. We had to pay for the meat door but the seal was under warranty. Then we kept getting water under the meat tray and sometimes it would be a thick sheet of ice. We thought we were opening the door too much or something. Then one day it started making this loud grumbling sound, like it was going to rattle right out the door. Afraid it would get ruined we turned it off and called a repairman. He had just recently had the same problem with another customer so knew right away what the problem was.The coils, fan, and behind the whole back cover was all ice. The drain was also frozen so the water was running into the bottom of the meat drawer. He had to blow dry it to get the back cover off, then blow dry the drain and the coils. That was a month ago. Today we had to call him back. He again had to thaw out the back panel and the upper right fan had over an inch of ice around it. He said he thought the fan and coils were too far away from the heating element to efficiently thaw the ice and it just builds up. Having read these concerns of others regarding the same problems, I think Samsung has the responsibility to figure out a way to resolve this problem. We have all paid too much money on what we thought would be a quality product to only pay out more for repairmen who tells me this will be a recurring problem.

Ice Maker not working- Refrigerator not staying cold: Already had a tech out to repair the ice maker and the refrigerator and he replaced the ice maker and the back panel on the refrigerator with the two cooling fans. Less than two weeks later and we are experiencing the exact same issues as if nothing had been fixed. On doing research I discovered that this is a known issue and that Samsung used to replace the refrigerators with new ones, but that obviously got too expensive to continue. So now if you are out of warranty you are out of luck! Never buying a Samsung appliance again.

We purchased a Samsung French Door Refrigerator (no ice dispenser) a few years ago (It was built in 2011). We began to have problems with water/ice buildup under the cold storage tray since last Fall. We thought we must have spilled water in the refrigerator. It kept happening with increasing frequency. It became a weekly process to remove the cold storage tray and remove an inch of ice and water from the bottom of the refrigerator. It then became necessary to remove the water twice a week to prevent water from spilling out of the refrigerator all over the floor. Several members of my family started getting sick with what we thought was the stomach bug.We noticed that the refrigerator did not seem to be very cold although the temperature stated it was 34 degree until one night the temperature reading said 58 degrees! I called a repairman who told me the panel in the back was probably frozen and we would need to unplug the unit and wait at least 24 hours for the back panel to defrost. We began the process of throwing out food and found several moldy containers. We realized this was most likely the reason we were getting sick! We were being poisoned by our refrigerator! We immediately decided to throw it out and purchase another one! Having a refrigerator for only a few years and to have this happen, I will never buy another Samsung product again.

Samsung is a joke. Purchased a microwave that lasted only 3 years with minimal use. Got the SE error code. Called Samsung for help. They agreed to send out a service tech, well lo and behold NO ONE in my area will even deal with them. So basically Samsung told me it was my problem, but they were willing to repair it if a service technician was in my area. This process took me 3 weeks. They wont return calls, then transfer from one dept to the next, it is a total joke. They finally agreed to pro rate the cost of my microwave. This process took another 2 weeks. Needless to say I will NEVER again purchase from Samsung.

Purchased a Samsung dishwasher unit from Home Depot in December 2016. Model#; DW08K5050US. After 4 month of usage the dishwasher catch fire on May 3rd., while in operation. Fire Department fire report conclusion results stated that the cause of fire was a mechanical failure of the unit. Has been very difficult to solve out the incident with Samsung Fire & Marine Management Corporation team and assigned adjuster. My property suffer heavy damage and the estimates exited the 20K mark. I will not suggest to any friend and family Samsung products especially the dishwashers.

We purchased a refrigerator on July 29 2017 MODEL RF26HFENDSR/AA and started having noise problems shortly thereafter. This purchase was for a property we were retiring to and we were not there all the time for the first 7 months. Once we moved in there we noticed loud banging noises coming from the fridge at random times. These noises were so loud they woke us in the night.I initially called Samsung about this in early June of 2018. They sent a technician out but the sound did not happen while he was here. As we were in a remote area it took over 4 weeks to get him to come out. After this I was constantly on the phone trying to find out what they would do next and they finally asked me to send them an audio file of the sound. Which I did. They in turn sent it to Samsung and Samsung tells me this was normal. I called them several times after that and then in Oct they refused to even talk to me as they said it was now not in warranty. At that time I pointed out that the problem was there before the warranty was out and they said it didnt matter it was not their problem now. At that point I called Lowes where I purchased the fridge as I had a 4 year extended warranty with them. They sent the same company out again and the Technician was here all of 10 minutes, changed a setting on the fridge and left. This did not solve the problem. After numerous calls to both Lowes and the repair company of Lake City furnishings in Williams lake they finally came back with an email from Samsung saying that the noise was something that happens to only a few fridges and will disappear after 1 or possibly more than 2 years. This is not an acceptable resolution to me and I feel I have wasted countless hours on the phone with Samsung, Lake City and Lowes to no proper resolution.
