Samsung Washer Model WF45R6100AP Error Codes

CODE: LO or FL
PROBLEM: Door lock error
FIX: Check the wiring connections to the door lock/switch, and tighten if needed. Forcing the door open might damage the door lock / switch, which is often made of plastic. However, it is simple to replace and much less expensive than calling a technician.

CODE: ds
PROBLEM: Door is not locked
FIX: If the washer won't start, the ds code might appear, signaling that the washer door is open and the lock is malfunctioning. Use the diagnostic test mode to check the door lock / switch assembly. If that shows the lock is defective, replace it.

CODE: dc
PROBLEM: Unbalanced load
FIX: The dc code means the load has been detected as unbalanced during the final spin. Cancel the cycle, or just let it end. Redistribute the load, and re spin.

CODE: Sud (F70)
PROBLEM: Too many suds
FIX: Allow the suds to settle, and move to the spin cycle. Rewash the clothes using no detergent, and then clean your washer.

CODE: lE
PROBLEM: Water level sensor failure
FIX: First, unplug the washer, and check the wire harness connections between the water level sensor and the main control board. If the IE code still appears after plugging the washer back in, the water level pressure sensor should be replaced.

CODE: nF
PROBLEM: Water fill problem
FIX: Check that the water supply faucets behind the washer are fully open and kink free. The lines can also freeze if the washer is exposed to low temperatures. The code might also appear if the water inlet fill valves are defective and need replacement.

CODE: LE
PROBLEM: Low water level during cycles
FIX: Water level drops can be caused by leaks in the washer tub or an improperly installed drain line, which can siphon water out of the washer. Reinstall the drain line, and try filling again.

CODE: OE
PROBLEM: Overflow or too high water levels
FIX: A washer that is overfilled is usually caused by water inlet valves that are not shutting off the water flow properly. Replace the water inlet valve assembly.

CODE: nF1
PROBLEM: Hot and cold water lines are reversed
FIX: Connect the hot and cold water fill hoses correctly on the back of the washer.

CODE: tE
PROBLEM: Water temperature is either too high or too low
FIX: Run the diagnostic test mode to check the water temperature that the control board is sensing. If the actual temperature is significantly different, the temperature sensor or thermistor should be replaced.

CODE: nd
PROBLEM: Water will not drain
FIX: If the washer fails to drain within fifteen minutes, check the washer drain filter and drain hose for a clog or restriction. If the drain pump is defective or damaged, replace it.

CODE: E2
PROBLEM: Stuck key on control board
FIX: Try to free the key by gentle force. If you can't free the key, replace the user interface control board (also called the sub PCB control board).

CODE: 3E
PROBLEM: No signal from the drive motor tachometer
FIX: Unplug the washer. Check the wire harness connections on the drive motor and the electronic control board. If the wiring connections are sound, the drive motor or the tachometer usually needs to be replaced.

CODE: 2E
PROBLEM: Internal control board failure
FIX: Unplug the washer for five minutes to reset the electronic control board. Plug the washer back in. If the code returns, replace the electronic control board.

CODE: AE
PROBLEM: Communication error between the main PCB and sub PCB in the control panel
FIX: Check the wire harness connections between the PCB control boards in the control panel. If the wiring connections are sound, replace one or both of the control boards.

CODE: SF
PROBLEM: Main PCB error
FIX: Unplug the washer for five minutes to reset the electronic control board. Plug the washer back in. If the code returns, replace the electronic control board.

CODE: Hr
PROBLEM: Heater relay failure
FIX: The heater relay is a component on the main PCB control board. Unplug the washer for five minutes to reset the main PCB control board. Plug the washer back in. If the code returns, replace the main PCB control board.

I own numerous Samsung appliances - TVs, Washer, Dryer, and Stove. I also owned (and just removed) a malfunctioning Samsung Over the Range Microwave. I purchased it, knowing it had reliability issues, but it matched my stove and was the right price - so I gave it a shot. Let me first of all state that it made some funny buzzing noises that I didnt like. The keypad never worked great, either, but after about 5 years it may be, it certain buttons became harder to push, and eventually some buttons (and then almost all buttons) stopped working, entirely.Long story short, given another Samsung should have a similarly mounting system, I took a shot and attempted to order another Samsung (yes I know). Well, get this, I order it from Lowes and after multiple bad delivery dates from the Samsung distributor, I ended up having to cancel my order. Yes, even Samsungs own delivery of their microwaves turned out to be a nightmare. That said, I gave up and chose a Whirlpool that looks great, has great review, has a blue readout that match my Samsung stoves blue readout (that was a big deal, btw), and it has good reliability ratings according to Consumer Reports. All in all - Id say the moral of the story here, is to just avoid Samsung microwaves.

In Nov 2016 I purchased a Samsung Dishwasher. I was having some remodelling done and did not have the dishwasher installed until shortly before Christmas. Model # DW80j7550US/AA. The dishwasher never completed a cycle, and never washed appropriately. With Christmas business I called Samsung shortly after the holidays to schedule repair. This is a brand new dishwasher! Scheduling service was complicated because when I called in (Dominican Republic) the washer was not under warranty - brand new. After emailing the bill of sale and many other hoops the dishwasher was scheduled for service. On 1/16/2017 NISI sent out a service technician who diagnosed it needs a new part. This part should take about 3 weeks. I called NISI on 2/27, left a message and also sent a text (his requested method of contact).Today 3/9 after not getting a reply with 3 calls and 2 texts I finally get a text from him stating call the technician with a cell number. I stalled the cell and sent a text. No reply. I have since contacted Samsung and received a new 41 number and hopefully will hear back. The upside of this situation is that I had a Samsung refrigerator scheduled for delivery. I quickly cancelled. Buyer please beware. I wish I would have googled these reviews first. I will never ever purchase a Samsung product and will tell anyone that I come into contact with. Unbelievably awful!!!

1st problem: The refrigerator froze in the back and stopped cooling altogether. WE do not have a water attachment to it, thank goodness, because that would probably be even more of a nightmare. 2nd problem: Water leaks right below the vegetable tray. Where the water comes from is unknown. Getting it fixed has been impossible. Samsung does not stand by its products. WE bought this at Home Depot, which offers no support whatsoever. Ive filed a complaint with Home Depot, but no satisfaction. I am sure I will no longer buy anything other than nails and electrical tape at Home Depot from this point forward. Do NOT BUY Samsung. Do not buy major appliances at Home Depot. You will regret it. I have a freezer and an old fridge downstairs that are over 10 years old, not a problem. The Samsung is only 3-4 years old.

I preferred to select 0 stars but that is not an option. I purchased a bottom freezer fridge on 7/26/2007, Model RB195BSSW. For several days, the freezer isnt working properly and the fridge isnt cooling sufficiently. This morning, a Best Buy technician came out to troubleshoot and determined the circuit board needs replacing. I called Samsung since the fridge is less than 5 years old. No help, the person on the phone just kept telling me I could go through Best Buy to fix the issue or have Samsung come out at my additional expense. This is unacceptable for a product that is less than 5 years old. Ive purchased many Samsung products in the past - TV, cellphones and never (knock on wood) have had an issue. I am very disappointed in their product and lack of service.

Just a note to say that it is beyond me how a giant company like Samsung can sell such sub par products and allow themselves to disappoint millions of customers with their extremely horrible customer service. I cant even count how many bad reviews there are out there about numerous Samsung Refrigerator models, not to mention all the other product issues as well. We too purchased a terrible fridge model RF267 and have been dealing with the ice maker freeze up and water leaking among other things for years. Its appalling to me that Samsung can let this go on and on for years on end. If a company refuses to build a good product and refuses to be held accountable for their lack of knowledge in engineering and complete disregard for customer satisfaction, they should no longer be in business. Bye bye Samsung... The electronic world is far too competitive. Its only a matter of time before what you have dished out comes back to you.

Three years ago we purchased new Samsung kitchen appliances (refrigerator, electric range, microwave). Two weeks ago our range started on fire. After many attempts to contact Samsung and empty promises to call us back, we were finally able to reach management. They offered to send out a technician to inspect the range even though we were past the 1 year warranty. The technician concluded there was an electrical issue and cleared us of any wrongdoing. While at our residence, the technician called Samsung to explain his findings along with sending them pictures of the damage. We were told that Samsung would contact us within 24-48 hours to let us know if they would offer any additional coverage.Samsung never called. We had to reach out to them multiple times with the same empty promises that someone would call us back. During one of the calls we were actually told that there was ‘physical damage’ and we were to blame. Well, of course there was physical damage given the electrical issue! So even though the technician they sent out cleared us of any wrongdoing, Samsung concluded that we were to blame and since the range was out of the 1 year warranty they would not provide any coverage. Samsung knew the range was past the warranty period prior to offering to send out a technician. Given that, why did they offer to send anyone out and waste two weeks of our time waiting for them to ‘review’ the situation and make a determination? And on a related note, the ice-maker on our refrigerator has not been working appropriately for the past couple of months. Seems there is a potential class action lawsuit on that front. Conclusion, the quality of Samsung kitchen appliances is not good, they clearly do not stand behind their products, and their customer service is absolutely horrible. Needless to say our new range purchase was not Samsung nor will we ever purchase Samsung products again. Buyer beware.

RF267ABRS - Problems from the get-go. Ice in fridge under slide-out drawer, ice maker with loud periodic click, water on floor (and we have hardwood floors!), fridge and freezer not keeping safe temperatures. We replaced the seals with supposed Samsung seals at a cost of nearly $400. Did not fix the issue. Now causing marital issue coz I dont want a fride that doesnt keep foods at a safe temperature! If there is a class action suit, Ive not been notified. We bought this 7 or 8 years ago, has never worked right and still people with more recent purchases are having the same problems!!! Wow. Shame on Samsung.

Unit locks up and wont function properly. Display will show all is well but food gets soft in freezer. You then run diagnostics function and it shows all is well. Next step is to unplug unit for 90 sec. then power up and hope that fixes it. Ice maker was junk from the start. Im on third ice maker assembly and possibly the 5th tray. The older the unit gets, the more defrost problems we have. I am replacing main board today. I hope its upgrade and not just a new set of problems.

Purchased Samsung Model #RF24FSEDBSR French door refrigerator in 2014, and shortly after began having numerous problems with both the ice maker and the overall temperature control. Had a factory authorized service tech come out, who told us the ice maker is a defective design for which Samsung has no solution. He stated he has seen hundreds of these, and there is no fix. The ice maker does not make more than one batch of ice each 24-hour cycle (sometimes not even that). It will not dispense cubed ice (crushes it every time), and water runs out of the dispenser, filling the glass with ice and water. It freezes solid, thaws, and then freezes again, requiring that we defrost the ice maker every other day. (Are you freaking kidding me??!!)The temperature controls are fickle, often not holding the temperature at the setting selected. This refrigerator was purchased as part of a total kitchen remodel, and we thought we were getting a great value. Instead, it has turned out to be a huge POS costing us money for attempted repairs and a great deal of frustration. I will not buy another Samsung refrigerator again, and I will discourage everyone I know from ever doing so. Their claims of reliability ring hollow, and their customer service on this product is nothing but a cruel, pathetic joke. Do not buy this, or any other Samsung refrigerator.

Originally posted earlier this month. Followed Samsungs advice and defrosted refrigerator for 36 hours, with fan blowing on it. Checked to make sure all ice buildup had cleared. Turned on, ran fine, icemaker even working again. Now several days later, ice maker is stopping and probably means another complete defrost. Do not buy Samsung Refrigerators, ITS ALL OVER THE INTERNET ABOUT HOW PEOPLE ARE HAVING SAME PROBLEM WITH ICING UP AND NOISE. They dont seem to have a fix. Terrible, 5 years old $2000+ refrigerator and nothing but problems.Updated on 06/16/2018: I have contacted Samsung and searched the web. My 5 yr old refrigerator keeps freezing up and the fan starts making a loud noise. Only resolution Samsung has offered is to defrost the refrigerator. Really, its a self defrosting, yet now we have to unload and let it thaw out 2-3 times a year. This problem with their refrigerators is noted by numerous people on the internet, yet Samsung offers no remedy and it appears this problem occurs with many of their refrigerators going back several years. This company is selling numerous refrigerators and should fix the problem or offer real solution.

We bought a Samsung 2 door refrigerator in May of 2013. The guarantee was up in May of 2015. Nine months later, the flap control which seals the left side door broke and no longer stays open while the door is open. As a result, one must open the right hand door in order to close the left door. I called the number on the inside of the fridge to speak to a Samsung rep. Of course, despite the relatively short time we were over the warranty, there was nothing he could do. He was not even able to provide a line on a replacement part! Fortunately, we had purchased an extended warranty through Lowes, the store we bought the fridge from, and the matter should be resolved without cost. While speaking to the rep. at Lowes, I was informed that this was unfortunately a very common fault with these fridges. I have never had a major appliance break down like this before after such a short period of time. I should think Samsung would wish to protect their good name with a total recall on this issue and replace the flaps with a more durable part if, indeed it is a common occurrence. The rep. at Samsung seemed to know exactly what my problem was as I was trying to describe it. I would strongly suggest to anyone looking to buy a new fridge to steer clear of Samsung. They should stick to making TVs!

Very convenient to use, however the buttons that are on the front side seem to be a bit of problem when you get up against them, the oven lights starts up. Also, the stove control buttons are a bit confusing as they have temperatures on both sides of the button for two of the ranges. One if for low temperatures while the other is for higher temperatures. The oven is very convenient and cools very efficiently. Not a bad price for a range. The simpler the better!

I purchased an expensive french door Samsung refrigerator with bottom freezer from Lowes. When the refrigerator was less than a year old, I noticed the freezer was frosting up. But then the problem went away only to return a couple months later but this time the whole freezer iced up. Lowes said it was out of warranty so they gave me Samsungs number. A Samsung repairman came out and blamed the problem on not closing the door properly. He defrosted the freezer and after that, the freezer stopped working completely. A second call to Samsung and the same repairman showed up. This time he said to repair it, he would have to weld and refill the freon but that would cause a lot of smoke in the kitchen and there was some risk in bringing in canisters of flammable gas, etc. He wasnt too eager to do the repair and felt the refrigerator should be replaced by Samsung. Given his track record I wasnt confident about this repair. Samsung has refused to replace the refrigerator, pay for the labor to repair it, and send a different repairman. I will never purchase another Samsung product.

Purchased Samsung FTQ307 in 2012, extended warranty. After 3 years of wonderful use it burns out the inverter and power control board. Contacted Lowes for warranty and they stipulate its out of warranty. I make the purchase to replace burned out cards. It worked for 4 days and burns out in the same fashion. Contacted Lowes again to verify warranty information and then it was under warranty when it originally broke but is not anymore. Contacted Samsung. The glass-top and internals under the glass-top are cover under a 5 year parts warranty. They honored said warranty and added in the labor too since it originally failed under the extended warranty. Technician came out to repair but did not have all the parts. They were on back order. Samsung placed paperwork in to reimburse cost of parts that I installed and began the process of doing a buy back. A few days later Samsung said they never said they were going to reimburse parts cost and that they were would never offer a buy back. Repair guy came out and repaired the stove. 2 hours later it burned out again. Samsung and the repair company have a 30 day labor and 60 day parts warranty. Samsung has now voided all warranty to everything. All my major appliances are Samsung. I will be selling them all with a different company and will not ever own a Samsung device again. In the whole process of dealing with Samsung, they would say and/or offer one thing and the next day take it back or say it never happened. And with the actual repair company Samsung stated that the technician said it was because it was repaired by my hand that I caused the issue, when in fact they did not say that.

Samsung induction electric range model #NE599N1PBSR - almost immediately this stove top was causing grief. Purchased in Spring 2014 before summer I had placed a call to Samsung to report the problems. I was appeased by the customer service person who declared it was my pots. I had purchased very expensive induction pots and the problem still persisted. I had induction pots as soon as I bought the appliance. I thought they might be inferior. It has continued for 2 years with no solution. Samsung has no record of my problem. Over a month ago Samsungs repair person came to investigate - has been 6 weeks, no callback, I have placed 3 subsequent calls, no callback. I spoke with Samsung today... they have no record, and cant do a thing, they will NOT honor warranty even tho the first complaint was lodged before the expiry of the warranty - once again they have no record of that call. Shame on Samsung. Elements wont work, oven shots off, at best I can use 2 elements at one time. I bought 4 Samsung appliances that day and already had the dishwasher serviced also. Such a waste of money!

In 2013 we purchased a Samsung Refrigerator French door up and down. We paid 2,999.00. First we had the ice bucket replaced twice. This took several months each time to get a service order number. The problem existed. Finally the third repairman told us there was a Freon leak which couldnt be fixed. In March 2015, Samsung finally agreed it was a manufacturing problem and we would be refunded the full amount of our purchase price. I have made well over 50 documented calls to find out when we would receive our check. We have been without a refrigerator for over three months. Each time I call, I speak to a different person. I have been told I would receive a satisfaction survey many times which I have never received. We are still waiting for our check which was apparently mailed over a month ago. This whole experience has convinced me Samsung does not care one bit about their Customer Service. We have many Samsung products. I now pray nothing happens to any other Samsung product. Im not sure I could go through this awful nightmare again.

Firstly, I wish I had read these Samsung stove reviews prior to my purchase. :( This stove got 4.5 stars on PC Richards site which is one of the reasons that I bought it. I purchased the Samsung NX58M6650W Gas Range in November of 2017. I purchased this stove solely for the price and way it looked as I am not a person that cooks a lot and barely do I use an oven. I was upgrading my kitchen and looking for a stainless steel stove to replace my old one. Its a very nice looking stove but obviously looks can be deceiving. After my 4th time using the oven, which was all day on Thanksgiving Day 2018, I noticed that the control panel was warped almost looking like it had melted. I called Samsung for repair and they gave me a courtesy extension my warranty (2 weeks out of warranty) and offered a free repair. In my eyes a barely used stove should not have any issues in just over 12 mos, but thats just me. I had my rinky Hotpoint Stove for 17 years and not ONE need for repair. Anyway the repairman came and fixed the stove. He replaced the old control panel which means removing around 20 screws un-wiring/detaching and re-wiring a new control panel. Also needs to be mentioned, the control panel on the stove is made of plastic! Now that can be a problem if your stove gets hot. Repair seemed successful but two days later, the timer isnt working. For reference, the timer is in the same place on the panel that warped after using the oven for several hours. Needless to say I am furious. Samsung insists on sending out another repairman, but I want this stove replaced (not with a Samsung if thats possible). If you read the reviews, you have no doubt that this stove is problematic in its design. I watched the repair, and with all the fine wiring on a plastic panel, how will there not be problems? Samsung has been giving me somewhat of a runaround and does not seem to stand behind their product. Im sure problems will continue to occur based on all of the reviews and research Ive done. I have been on the phone with them 5 times. I have another appointment for repair since they say that this is the best that they can do since I am now out of warranty. Im with the other reviewer that says Class Action. I will try to update this review after my next repair visit, but in the interim, this stove is sorely disappointing. Stay away from this stove.

When I purchased my new home in July of 2010, I decided to buy my dream refrigerator along with it. I purchased the Samsung French door from Lowes for about $2500 - a real splurge for a single school teacher. I didnt get the extended warranty because I figured that anything that expensive would be well made with excellent customer service. Wrong on both counts. The first refrigerator lasted two weeks. The water spout wasnt working so Lowes told me to get a plumber. I had the plumber come and $100 later, the problem was still there. Finally, after a lot of complaining, Lowes switched it out for another one. I blamed the problem on Lowes, thinking they gave me a floor model. The replacement worked much better until I noticed snow on the right side of the freezer (about 6 months later). Of course I figured I did something wrong. I was still in denial that Samsung would sell a piece of junk for top dollar. I cleaned out the freezer and was careful about closing the door. Then I noticed the food in fridge would be completely soggy to the point where I had to throw things away. My biggest mistake was waiting a year and a half to call them. They told me to troubleshoot and go from there. This past holiday, the snow was so bad that my food was ruined in the freezer. I have gone the rounds with Samsung. They told me it will cost $500 and they will not pay any of it. Basically, what they are saying is it is okay for them to sell a product to a consumer for $2,500 and then expect a repair of 20% of that price in two years. Mind you, I am a single senior who barely opens the freezer or fridge for that matter. I take care of my things and never in all my years had to repair or replace any appliance owned. Samsung needs to make this right. They need to step up to the plate with integrity and replace all our defected refrigerators. Consumers have rights. It is illegal to sell someone something and not have it perform the function it was meant to do. I am boycotting all Samsung products and urging you to do the same. Please, please, please if you are considering a Samsung, please do not purchase. This refrigerator is defective.

I too have a Samsung refrigerator Model RF217ACWP French door, bottom freezer that drips water under the vegetable bins. Bought it in July 2012 and had the problem the first time just before the warranty expired. The repairman said that it is a common problem with this model. It was fixed under warranty but now a year later it does the same thing. Im sure it will cost a few hundred dollars to fix again but why should I put money every year into it. I too will never buy another Samsung product. Our 50 plasma TV started having problems 2 years after we bought it with no help from Samsung. They said that is why they encourage people to buy the extended warranty.

I purchased a Samsung microwave when we were re-doing our kitchen. I wanted a nice upper-end unit with a good fan so I got the Samsung SMH9187ST with a 5-speed fan that had plenty of CFMs to do the job. After approximately 2 years, I got an SE code on the LED read out and the unit stopped working. Nothing worked on the unit including the light; all buttons were dead. After contacting Samsung @ 1-800-726-7864 they informed me that there had been some problems with the Control Pad and that they would replace the control pad at no charge. Sounds good? What’s the problem? After four days, I was informed by Samsung that they have no authorized Samsung techs in my area and they couldnt send the replacement part to anyone other than a Samsung authorized tech (catch 22). Samsung has offered a pro-rated refund. This is not good! I have new custom-made cabinets, external venting and a tile splash up underneath the microwave. Another model from another manufacturer is not going to line up with the existing conditions. The consumer is left holding the bag! Consumers, be aware of purchasing a product, such as Samsung, with no service support!

Samsung microwave hood combo ME21706MQS/AC. Purchased an entire kitchen package from Sears Nov 2015 which included a Samsung microwave oven. We are a retired couple so use microwave to heat food and drinks. The microwave would not heat August 2017. Contacted Sears who sent a repairman. Estimate is to replace magnetron $133.96; diode $9.99; transformer $143.46 LABOUR $189.00. Total is $476.41 and I paid $599.99 plus get for the oven. Repairman recommended not to repair as it would not work in less than a year! In other words a piece of crap! I took out the 3 year no interest from Sears so I still have over a year to pay for this piece of crap. Samsung or Sears would not help.

Black French door Refrigerator Model # RF263AEBP. After just over 1 year from purchase, we were alerted to our 1st of now 3 water freeze-up in our fridge. In time #1 & 2 noted water on kitchen floor which was ultimately also on the floor of refrigerator section. Warranty was expired. Thank goodness for websites like this and youtube as we determined the problem was water line freezing and ultimate ice back up. Ice was thick all over the coils and drain clogged with ice. After following youtube directions all was fixed and we felt pretty darn happy with ourselves. (Rightly so as based upon reviews here not only do Samsung techs not know what’s going on - there is no fix, thats clear - but private techs dont know either and all just sell you a bill of goods you dont need.)About 6 months later we were alerted to the problem again in the same way described above. Followed the same youtube process and although this is getting old, solved the problem. Its been over a year and no freeze ups. Until 2 days ago. This time no alert of water, simply the fridge was warmer than usual. Rebooted the fridge and the sensor panels. The key here we didnt hear the fan going. Fridge and freezer cold enough but no noisy fan motor (a lifetime issue with this fridge). Again alerted by one of the reviews, we tried to do what we always do but this time it took 40 min to remove the back panel to access the frozen coils. When we finally got it off the fan was still under over 3 inches of ice (fan is on the back panel). Well after another hour of defrosting all ice with hair dryer and clearing the iced up drain.. all was cleaned (only positive occurrence for me) and put back.Well, while ice is gone, this must have been the straw on the camel’s back as even though the fan moves freely it seems the motor probably has had it. Froze up too long. No early alert system which clearly this defective product needs. I am mad. Not at defective product but at the dismissive attitude of this company to all those who have been trying to go through the proper channels. I do have no choice but to call my regular appliance company who I trust. Then Ill decide whether or not to repair or replace. Its a shame because the physical structure Im happy with. But will never, ever, ever buy an appliance that has any association with Samsung in the future...

Samsung dishwasher purchased just over a year ago to replace a dishwasher that we had for over 14 years. The Samsung dishwasher never did work properly. After numerous in-house service calls, replacement of the electrical board and very difficult to understand foreign tech advisors the dishwasher still did not work properly. Now, just having called again Samsung informed me that the washer is now out of warranty. Samsung? Never ever again.

I had my Samsung side-by-side fridge repaired less than a year ago. The fan motor sounds like a lawn mower and it has started up again. It stops when you open the freezer door but as soon as it closes, the noise starts right back up. It is constant and driving me crazy, not to mention, embarrassing when you have guest visiting. I will have to call out a repair guy again. The last one said there was ice build that was causing the noise. This is the worst purchase of my life! This product is less than 3 years old!

Samsung RB194ACW/XAC - I purchased this stylish, freezer on the bottom, Samsung refrigerator in mid-2010. After two weeks, the digital temperature display panel on the front was showing errors in the shape of the numbers and some bars of color were missing. The fridge seemed to be operating okay, but a year and 2 days after purchase, the refrigerator portion of the device began to stop cooling. The temperature readings on the front were whacky-looking and the inside of the fridge was clearly warm and foods began to spoil. The fridge was on and running, but there was no cooling effect. This started on Thanksgiving weekend, with a large family meal on. The freezer (on the bottom of the unit) was still working. A call to Samsung Canada was very unsatisfactory. I was told, curtly, that the refrigerator was past its warranty and they would not help me. The warranty was two days expired. I called the store that sold it to me. No help there either. I paid a private appliance repair company $340.00 to have the sensor repaired and a new temperature digital panel installed. It took 2.5 months for the parts to come in and three visits by a repairperson. The first two digital panels arrived in the wrong color. Today, less than two weeks following the repair, the fridge is again not cooling. The digital panel says it is 4 degrees in the fridge, but its very warm in the fridge and food has again begun to go off. The freezer still works. I removed the back protective panel and found the fridge coils completely iced up and the tiny plastic fan that is supposed to move air over the coils is encased in ice and inoperable.I guess Ive been dealt a lemon. I will not have this fridge repaired again. After reading many identical complaints on this and other sites, I realized that Samsung has produced a refrigerator system that has known functional defects - which they continue to market and sell to unsuspecting customers like me. Ignoring customer complaints and providing no follow-up or interest in customer satisfaction is the Samsung way when it comes to their flawed refrigerator design. I will never purchase another Samsung product as a result.

The technician sends pictures to Samsung. Samsung determines outcome despite the technician’s analysis and recommendations. Samsung blames their consumer. Samsung does not cover the any of the parts. Keep reading the reviews below from other customers. I wish I did! Samsung appliances are not built and made to last. Poorly and cheaply made with flimsy plastic that break off... The only use for this refrigerator is for a large paper weight. Stay away and Don’t waste your hard earned money. Period.

These problems did take place in 3rd year so I have service contract with Home care and they fixed both on 2nd visit for the order parts. Shared it was covered under warranty and they got parts free, showed me invoices. Send them video of ref making strange noise and advised them what I have done so far to fix it. They do not watch or listen to video. Send email saying must be ice maker, suggest have it serviced. 4) They have no notes of conversation and everything must be repeated, they have nice people and great phone manners but are under-trained and clearly lack the support they need to do their job. They can not send email advising where to log on for video training. Just check site or Youtube!!!

We bought this refrigerator about 4 years ago. It worked well the first year and the 2nd year onwards we started having problems. Water started leaking from bottom and water gets collected on the drawer base and the vegetable drawer also. The drain plug design is so bad that the its bound to get clogged. The drawer designs are complex and poor that food particles get lodged into the crevices between the various plastic parts and it is very hard to clean and if you try to remove them the plastic parts start to crack. Did not expect this from Samsung products. Poorly designed for cleaning and defrost system is pathetic. Even my grandmother fridge did not have this water leaking problem.

Im as upset about this issue as Ive ever been about dealing with a manufacturer. I will never purchase a Samsung brand device or appliance. The unit is a RF266AWEP. It stopped cooling 7 days ago and my wife and I have been taken on a journey of phone calls and multiple transfers to Samsung executive support staff all resulting in a cowardly This service ticket has been cancelled email that came through last night. We paid for an Samsung authorized repair technician to troubleshooting the unit. I was hoping the issue would be something simple and they could fix it. The service tech stated that the issue was with the compressor and would cost around $800-1200 in labor to repair. But, great! That part (and labor to repair) is still under warranty so we call up Samsung and spend a total of 12 hours over the course of 3 days on various phone calls, speaking to support reps. There are 3 authorized Samsung service centers in our area. The one that came out, refuses to perform the repair work because they are overbooked. The second refuses to come out because another repair provider has already looked at the unit. The third does not have someone that can perform closed system compressor work. So in the end, no one will fix our Refrigerator and Samsung just closed the ticket and left me a voicemail stating the ticket is closed. The end. This whole process feels extremely shady. I think they are trying to force us to just give up and go buy a new fridge. Dont buy Samsung products. If you have, good luck with warranty repairs.

DW80H9930US - My Samsung dishwasher was installed on October 25, 2014. The first call for repair was made on December 5th for a persistent water leak from the bottom of the door. The repair was made on Dec. 26th in which the venting system in the door was replaced. The next repair call was made on Dec. 31st for the same water leaking problem. The repair was made on Jan. 9, 2015 in which the venting system gasket was reseated. The next repair call was made Jan. 10th for the same water leaking issue from the bottom of the door. On Jan. 16th, the service man placed an order for a door latch replacement. On February 6th, the door latch mechanism was replaced. Water leaking and the door popping open without error codes mid-cycle continued. The most recent repair took place on March 14th, where the repairman replaced the whole door. No more water leaking has been noticed, however, one month after this repair, the door continues to pop open mid-cycle without any error codes. The time remaining does appear and flashes. I close the door, and it starts up again and with fingers crossed it finishes, but not without multiple door popping open episodes. Ive checked the strainer in the base and its not clogged with food particles. The top rack does roll forward, and Ive seen another posting about it becoming disconnected from the sprayer mounting at the back of the dishwasher wall. Perhaps this is the reason the dishwasher continues to stop mid-cycle without displaying error codes. My anger is with Samsung, not with P.C. Richard & Sons performance. I dont know, but one thing is for sure, when my 5 year warranty has expired (thank God, I had the smarts to purchase one), this dishwasher is going to the curb and I will NEVER buy another Samsung appliance, nor will I recommend their products to anyone!Updated on 09/25/2015: the dishwasher seemed fixed after the whole door replacement back in March 2015, however, it has begun leaking again (mid-August 2015) from the lower left area at the bottom of the door (the same area where it leaked from the start).

We bought a Samsung 26-cubic ft. French Door Fridge that was manufactured July 2011. It was installed in October 2011. After 12 months of use, the fan motor broke and the fridge vents iced up. This led to the temperature in the fridge going up, and all our food spoiling. We had bought the fridge through Sears, and had an extended warranty. After 6 weeks, Sears could not source a replacement fan motor from Samsung. We have heard that Samsung only makes a refrigerator model for about 3 years or less, then changes it. They rarely make spare parts, and if they do, they are hard to get. We are going to get a new fridge because Sears cannot source a part for our one year old fridge. Im amazed that such a small part is going to render our fridge useless. What a waste of a fridge, and what a disappointment in Samsung, who we thought would build a good product. This was a $2,300 fridge and should last more than a year, and should have available parts. A very good example of the low quality of appliances these days.

We purchased our very expensive Samsung fridge, French doors, freezer on the bottom. March of 2017. After 6 months we had issues with the drawers and shelves cracking and breaking. Not only are the parts cheaply made but almost a $1000 in warranty calls with Lowes has been spent on trying to fix the ice maker. It is a vicious cycle. The entire thing freezes over, we have to defrost it then wait for the entire unit to reset. When we DO have ice, the ice doesnt Staub cold, water leaks all over the inside and outside of the fridge and into the floor. We are so sick of this issue. We have only had the unit for 2 years and were STUCK with it!

We’ve had our Samsung model RF28HMEDBSR/AA for 4 years. The ice makers freezes up constantly. The fans freeze. I’m forever using a hairdryer to fix the problem. Insane. The fans get full of ice and make a loud disruptive noise. Get the hairdryer again! Will probably cut out losses and buy a new refrigerator. This Samsung isn’t worth the headaches. We purchased a Samsung OTR microwave model SMH9187W (from Sears) in June 2011 and it was installed in July by Sears. I returned from a 3-week trip in mid-August and found the microwave door ajar and the light on. The latch hooks on the door had no tension and could not keep the door closed. Everything seemed in working order when I hand held the door shut. I called Sears and they said, Sorry, youre one month out of warranty. For $75.00, well send a serviceman out, but youll have to pay for parts and labor in addition to that. However, they offered a deal of almost $300.00 for a service contract to take care of the problem. Big deal. I can buy a new microwave (not a Samsung and not from Sears) for almost the same amount. So much for the consumer reports and salesman recommendation! So far, Samsung has provided no more encouragement. They recommended a close by repair service phone number and when called, they said they can supply the part for repair, but did not get back to me on a price. When asked, Is it difficult to replace the part? The response was, Not for us. Such beautiful concern. I asked, Are there instructions with the part? No. How do you people stay in business? Beginning to sound like pre-WWII Japanese junk.

Purchased RS261MDWP fridge from Home Depot June 24th, 2013. I noticed rust forming at lower edge of ice/water dispenser. I did not call and make complaint before warranty expired (missed by two weeks). As it turns out, it makes no difference because the rust is considered cosmetic and is not covered under warranty. I had a Samsung certified serviceman come take a look at it for repair. New door and installation would total over $500. I declined and paid the serviceman the $80 for trip charge. There is an inherent design flaw in the construction of the door. I own numerous rental homes, one of which is an ocean front weekly rental. My appliances of choice are Whirlpool. I have had no rust problems with that fridge and it is less than 200 feet from the ocean! The Samsung fridge is greatly compromised by the rust. It is very obvious and I will be replacing a 1-year-old fridge that will end up in a garage.

After less than 1 year the dishwasher hardly cleans at all, the glasses look worse after being washed in dishwasher than before. My wife picked out a 2 drawer Samsung fridge for $1800 at Home Depot. After 3 weeks I realized one morning our kitchen flooded and into dining room. When I realized the water was coming out from the bottom of the fridge I shut water off. Called Samsung. They were so not customer service at all. Didnt care that one my kitchen and dining room was flooded. I dented our new fridge pulling it out to shut off water. Samsung finally sent out a service person after a week and he replaced pump that was bad. Said he would come back to fix dent and never did. These fridges are crap. Dont waste money.

Extended warranty purchased from Samsung Protection Plus not honored then authorized repair facility suddenly no longer authorized by Samsung after trainer agreed to replace it. ANOTHER 3 hour phone call last Friday Sept 4, 2015, Samsung executive customer service simply disconnects you. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT! JUNK. Customer service useless!

My elderly mother bought a Samsung refrigerator, microwave and stove and they worked well for at least the first year. Since then, the handles on both the microwave and freezer door of the refrigerator have both broken off (my mother is in her 70s and not very strong) and it has cost her literally hundreds of dollars to have servicemen come and fix them because the warranty was no longer valid. She has spent more money trying to fix them than they were worth when she bought them!!! She is now having trouble with her stove, a stove which offers a divider so that one doesnt have to heat up the entire stove just a small portion of it (given that she is generally only cooking for herself). Well, guess what, the stove blew and the only way to get it to work is to remove the divider (the very reason she bought that stove) and Samsung will do nothing about it. These are products that should last AT LEAST ten years before any problems occur. Worst customer service, worst products. Worst of all, I recommended them to my elderly mother! So infuriated!

We are on our second refrigerator in less than three years. The first unit had problems with the ice maker so we exchanged it in less than a month. Now we have problems with it icing up in the rear around some fan. Samsung said they would fix it and pay for the parts not labor. But now they refuse to pay for the parts. The executive division said the lower representative didnt have the authority to promise to pay for anything. Never buy Samsung products. Theyre junk and the management are liars!

Problem: Water dispenser began leaking immediately upon installation. Purged system of air but leak continued. Then within a week or so of use, the water dispenser began making a vibrating noise. The noise was in the area where the water line leads into the back of the refrigerator. Solution: After repair service made three attempts, one by replacing the water valve. This eliminated the vibrating noise for a day. The vibrating noise was continuous. The third service call was removing the water filter. There was no vibration or leaking when the filter was not in the refrigerator. The service repairman suggested leaving the filter out for a day then install a new filter. We installed a new filter the next day. It worked. We have been leak free and noise free for several days. So, if you have either of these problems or both, I suggest you remove the filter and install a new one before calling service. By the way, our service company informed us we would be getting a new filter from Samsung since the 6-month period had not been up on the filter.

We have in our area Cone Appliance Repair with the phone number of 9417273767 fax number 941-312-6265. They told us that it was due to cosmetic Error. How can you say that it is A error when you can open up this door with just a finger? We are now fighting to get someone to fix this but we were told by Samsung that we could hire a outside company because it’s only Kohl’s appliance repair in our area. So Maranda the supervisor that we are dealing with doesn’t want to bend my. Being a woman myself I don’t feel women should be in this type of business to make decisions that they don’t know the repair. Amanda came to our house. Wasn’t even here Five minutes. I work for a Big Box Home Improvement Store. A customer purchased a Samsung dishwasher from our store with installation. Our installers installed the dishwasher on Christmas Eve, 2014. On December 26, the customer called and said the dishwasher was not rinsing the dishes. The dishes had a soap film, food particles and spots on them. The dishes were a mess. Our installer went to her house to see if it had anything to do with the install. No, the dishwasher was installed correctly.I then called Samsung and got the famous ticket # for my client. In the meantime she also called Samsung and they agreed to send someone out. He came out and just looked at the machine, not opened it or repaired it, just looked and said she was using too much soap. She called Samsung and they told her to purchase a special soap, she did, didnt help. They told her to use vinegar in her rinse cycle, she did, didnt help. They told her to rinse three times for every one wash, she did, didnt help. In the meantime I continued to call Samsung to get a repair person out to her house to fix the dishwasher. I have so many ticket # by now it is comical. Never again did they send a repair person to her house. Now her LE light is remaining on.The hours I spent on the line with the call center from mumble mouth world was terrible. The representatives speak in such heavily accented English you cant understand them, and you know they are laughing at you. I had spoken with everyone in the call center since they dont really elevate you to a manager but just pass you off to the rep sitting next to them. With each rep you have to repeat the entire story again. I got mad one time and yelled Dont you people know how to use a computer? I really offended them and from then on I didnt have to repeat the story. They read the notes in the computer. Each 45 minute call ended with a promise to send a repairman out. They NEVER EVER DID!Then when you call to tell them the repair person never called to set up a repair date, you get the famous ticket # again. Then I told them I wanted a return authorization #. Our store was going to take the piece of junk back and give her a new one. They refused stating She hasnt had three attempts at a repair! What? She should have had about six repairs but the repair person never comes. No RA# until three attempts had been made to repair the dishwasher by the Samsung repair person. Constant loop. Fortunately our store manager stepped up to the plate. She is to come into the store and pick out any dishwasher she wants as long as it is not a Samsung. Our installers will install the dishwasher and remove the defective one, no cost to her.

We redid our kitchen in August 2012 and purchased three Samsung products - a stove, a refrigerator and a dishwasher. This review is about the dishwasher. Ive already submitted a review about our stove. We purchased our Samsung dishwasher, Model #DMT 300RFS/XAA in August 2012 for $515. Our first repair was on 22 Jan 2014, the float level sensor had to be replaced, and the cost was $208.21.The next problem happened on 6 May 2015. The case sensor and brake have to be replaced and the cost will be $316.24. If we have this repair done, and we wont, this substandard appliance will have cost us $515 (original cost) + $524.45 (2 x repairs) = $1039.45. Note: the repairs alone total more than the cost of the dishwasher. Weve now got a 225 lb. paperweight in our kitchen.

Samsung refrigerator RF26X Series Model # RF26XAERS. My wife and I purchased a 26 cu ft Samsung refrigerator french door freezer on the bottom on October 12, 2011. We spent over $3,000 on Friday December 16th, 2016 the freezer & ice maker quit working at the same time. I contacted Samsung about the matter and I was informed that my warranty was expired, the refrigerator came with a 12 month warranty then we added a five-year warranty on top of that. Question is how can it be expired? Its only been 5 years total including the original 12 months that came with the purchase. I would like a full refund. Please dont buy anything from Samsung. After complaining about the ice maker on the RF263 for over a year because of poor production, Samsung said nothing could be done to shorten the cycle time. I am getting about 1 cycle per four hours. Even with Power Freeze (as recommended in the owner’s manual).I called Samsung tech support and they said that power freeze would cause slower production of ice. They said that the filter should be changed more often than six months and that I should not be using a whole house (huge) water filter. They asked me to press the reset button (and hold for 8 seconds), which I did and the ice dumped. They said not to expect ice for 12 hours and that I should be getting a dump about every 1 and 1/2 hours.Furthermore, the OM says to flush the new filter with at least six gallons of water – without telling me how to flush it! I asked why none of this was discussed in the woefully inadequate owner’s manual. Whats more, all the techs know is what is written down in front of them, without having any knowledge of why or the logic of what they are telling you to do (or not).

I usually never write online reviews but I feel compelled to warn anyone I can about Samsung and the junk appliances it produces. Ive had numerous experiences with Samsung Refrigerators, Dishwashers, etc. For one thing....their refrigerators have a known design defect which causes the evaporator coils to build up ice on them. Usually after approximately one year (after the warranty runs out) you will start hearing loud clicking/grinding noises from your freezer. This is the fan hitting the ice building up around the coils. You will then be forced to defrost the piece of junk with a hair dryer or just shut it off for 24 hours to defrost it. Samsung has known about this for years, yet it continues to produce junk appliances and will not stand behind them.

We purchased our Samsung RS261MDRS/XAA a Little less than 5 years ago. It has been a nightmare. The first week, we had to call the company because the refrigerator was not cooling properly. We had a technician come by to fix it. Perhaps it was a computer problem. The refrigerator would not cool properly, and the freezer would frost up. The very first years we had several people try to fix the freezing of the back panel problem. We have nursed it along, but less than 5 years of ownership, for the second or third time, we have had to move all of our food elsewhere to keep from losing it. The fan made a loud clatter, then nothing. Food kept getting warmer - who knows whats safe, so we had to throw it all away again! We my husband and I purchase a Samsung 30.2 cu. ft. French Door Refrigerator in Stainless online at Home Depot. We called Home Depot with our problem. These are your vendors HOME DEPOT. I am looking for an end-to-end solution. Home Depot told us to call Samsung service, been dealing with Samsung customer service and CEO. Contacted Samsung after several phone calls. They set us up with one of their contractors. The repair person said (FIRST TECH) the freezer door was defective, cant repair...unrepairable. We called Samsung again, told them what tech said. Samsung told us they have to wait for the tech report. The end of the day tech # 1 called us, told us Samsung want him to come over and saw my freezer door in half and unplug the refrigerator. We asked what about our food. His response was Samsung tech told him it wasnt their problem. We called Samsung again, told them that wasnt the right thing to do. They send another Tech. The second Tech gave us the same report as the # 1 Tech did, the freezer door was defective cant repair...unrepairable.We called Samsung again. NO HELP, NO RESOLUTIONS. Again they send yet a 3 Tech. He gave us the same report which we were told already by techs #1, #2. Technician # 3 JOE WAS ON THE PHONE WITH SAMSUNG TECH ARGUING BACK AND FORTH ABOUT THE SITUATION, because JOE was more concern about us the customer. The Tech spoke to a Samsung tech man who told him to saw my freezer door in half and to order a door to replace the entire door. He began to tell us that I needed to schedule another appointment and that the parts should be coming to my home.According to what I have been told over and over, your techs will make every attempt to fix the problem before a replacement freezer is offered. OK, you have not fixed the problem and your tech told me and my husband he cant guarantee he can fix it. Cant repair...unrepairable, which is what I already was told by techs #1, #2, and #3. Lets get to the nitty gritty. Since I have been unnecessarily inconvenienced, lied to on a regular basis, and am still not sure I have a reliable refrigerator heres what I want:1. A new refrigerator, it would be appreciative. Because this one even repaired a month old refrigerator that cost $27,000, its like used (a refurbished refrigerator). If I wanted a used one I would have bought it for less money... Your technicians stated. The freezer door was defective.2. Reimbursement for my approximately $500 in meats and food Im going to lose, once they saw through my freezer door. Its going to be flames and debris everywhere. You have failed to provide me with the prompt, reliable service from expert technicians. I have been told over and over that I will not get a new refrigerator unless my 1 month old refrigerator is unrepairable. It appears it is unrepairable based on the report of your 3 technicians. A reputable company would admit that a 1 month old Refrigerator that has serious door problems is faulty and would replace the unit. This is horrible! Very disappointed Samsung not stand behind their products and customer.

Two years ago we remodeled our kitchen. The new Samsung over the stove microwave matches the new Samsung stove and has some nice features and I do like it, but it is starting to make a grinding noise. It seems to have caught something from its big brother, the stove. This stove has all the bells & whistles..Looks like a cooks delight... Thats a disguise. The stove really sucks. It cooks everything to hot and the smooth top is a ** to clean compared to my old Whirlpool smooth top. The top burners on the Samsung take eons to come up, and when they do it mimics Kilauea. It will not do a simmer but slow boils. I end up cooking everything on the small burner rings, including big pots. I had to drop the oven temperature down 25 degrees to get the right results. I called the Samsung repair service. The guy told me there is nothing wrong with the stove. He must be a Democrat.Recently, when I use the oven, the convection fan started making noise... It is now making a racket. I checked with an appliance guy and he said that he has seen Samsung stove fans junk out before and eventually seize on a regular basis... the cost to replace the fan assembly would be about $300-$375 bucks. I went on the Internet and found videos on how-to replace the fan. I found an appliance parts website. My husband looked at the YouTube videos and is going to fix the stove himself. Never a Samsung product again. I understand their TVs are not very good either.

If we were not in the kitchen however, the story could have been different. Contacted Samsung directly to see if they could help with repairs, or a discount towards a new Samsung microwave. The answer: No, we only warrant our appliances for 1 year. Anything past 1 year is the consumer’s responsibility. So my warning to anyone looking to purchase a Samsung appliance. If you are considering purchasing a Samsung dishwasher, DONT. If you spend a penny on a Samsung dishwasher, its a penny too much, you might as well throw that money in the garbage. I am pro Samsung for many things, we own several Samsung TVs, phones, washer, dryer, fridge, stove, microwave, DVD players and I am happy with every one of those products, but the dishwasher is another story. The racking system is horrible, so your dishes dont fit properly, they dont stay in place. We have tried every possible layout and nothing works good. No exaggerating, 90% of the dishes come out dirty, especially the top rack items. Drinking glasses, coffee mugs, etc NEVER EVER come out clean. They always have crumb like substances dried into them, requiring us to then soak the glasses in the sink for a while to try to loosen the residue enough for me to clean them. And dont waste your time writing their customer services, because its a total waste of your time. And yes, we take very good care of our appliances, and clean out the drain, the sprayer, everything they recommend and it doesnt do a stitch of good. My best advice, go with another brand for a dishwasher.

I had a GE dishwasher for 15 years and it worked well but I wanted a new stainless steel one. I purchased a Samsung from Best Buy. It is hard to believe how unhappy I have been with this appliance. I have paid $357 so far to continue to have it fixed and it is not quite three years old. Today I am having it hauled away as I am cutting my losses. Samsung should not be in the business of appliances if they cant do any better than this. It did not clean the dishes well, it did not dry the dishes well, and it was of poor quality but yet cost a lot. I will NEVER buy Samsung again.

We were warned by 2 people not to buy Samsung refrigerators because the ice makers were awful. We didnt listen because we needed a certain size and Samsung made them if you ordered it... Loved the refrigerator for the first few months. Then the ice maker started freezing up and we would have to use a hairdryer to defrost it. Then we noticed when you put ice in a cup it would drop water in it. So much you would have to dump it before putting anything in it. Within 2 years the ice maker was dripping water in one of the doors and would freeze in the bottom of the ice tray causing it to freeze up. We finally just pulled the tray out and turned the water off to it. Now we buy a bag of ice and keep it in the bottom freezer. Do not buy this refrigerator unless you want to deal with these kind of problems.

We purchased our Samsung refrigerator, model # RFG238AARS on May 28, 2012. Glad we did not purchase any other Samsung appliances since. This one has been a frequent headache. In the beginning we were able to get many things fixed under warranty. We did not purchase the extended warranty. If a product is good, one should not be necessary. We have frost all through the freezer. This problem occurred during the first year of owning it and was fixed. A refrigerator that costs over $3,000 should last longer than 3 years. We also have rust in the tray under the water and ice dispenser. I thought stainless did not rust. I will never buy any appliance from Samsung again. I did call Lowes to let them know how disappointed we are with a product they carry. I wish I had seen and read the reviews I have just read of other peoples experiences with the Samsung refrigerator. We liked that it was cabinet depth and made ice in 2 places, in the door and in the freezer section. Samsung should stick with what they know and they do not know how to produce a quality refrigerator that is worth what we paid. Samsung should reimburse at least half of what we paid for this refrigerator.

Bought a dishwasher that broke down in 6 months. Obviously the product is under warranty and its been one months and they still have not been able to send someone to even come and take a look at it. I would like to know how I can sue Samsung for 1) providing me a crappy product 2) Not honoring their warranty and causing me a lot of heartache by ruining my holiday weekend and my time with my family which I now have to spend cleaning dishes! Worst company and products ever.

Our Samsung French Door Refrigerator has an Icemaker that does not work properly. We called Home Depot and were referred to a local company to repair. We were told that this problem exists with all of the Samsung Icemakers, and they are not able to repair this problem. So your best bet is NOT to even buy this product.

I bought Samsung microwave model SMH9187ST in March 2011 and just got the SE/5E code. After reading hundreds of similar complaints, I contacted Samsung. They are sending a service repair company to replace the control panel free of charge even though it is out of warranty. I was told that this was considered an epidemic type of issue that Samsung is aware of. If after the replacement of the control panel I am still receiving the error message, then the control box will need to be replaced at my expense. I just wanted to share with anyone who is just now getting this error code that Samsung will work with you on some level. Better than nothing, I guess.

I bought a Samsung fridge (RFG296HDPN) from Lowes and the dispenser is not working right. It locks itself and then no matter how many times I try, it does not unlock, which means no cold water, crushed ice or whole ice. This panel will stay locked for a week or two and then unlock on its own. The lower drawer or crisper came cracked and one of the shelves where the ice maker is located has a thin line crack also. I work and have to take a full day for a repair and when I called them, they gave me a work order number. If they call back and I dont pick up, they cancel it, so I called in for another one. So I have two work orders, and they told me the repair person is waiting on parts. Now someone named Brittany says that its cosmetic and they do not do cosmetic. I asked to speak with a supervisor and they say I have to wait for an hour. A malfunctioning dispenser for me is not cosmetic, not on a $3,000 refrigerator that will be a year old in August. I have explained this over and over again when I called and when the technicians called now, they asked me if its locked, call then when it is. Well, I have on two occasions and they have not reacted. I wish they would put this on their refrigerators. If panel malfunctions, its cosmetic. I asked if there was a way to reset it and there is none but unplugging it which I have tried and it does not work. It will be two months that I have been trying to fix this. I will never buy another Samsung.

I bought a Samsung dishwasher less than 2 years ago and what a piece of garbage. My previous dishwasher lasted 30 years and it was a Kenmore. I called a local repair company and they said they do not service Samsung as parts are very expensive and hard to get. I phoned Leons in Collingwood where I got this junk and they gave me a phone number in Owen Sound. The technician came and told us something leaked onto the motor and would cost $600.00 to fix. So we paid $200.00 for service call and this piece of junk will go to the scrap yard. And unfortunately I bought a Samsung refrigerator and hopefully it will last more than 2 years. But I will be purchasing a different product very shortly and it will not be a Samsung brand.
