We purchased this dryer less than a year ago at Lowes. Since purchasing this new dryer, I have to run all loads on a minimum of 2 cycles to dry, mostly with towels and not huge loads but maybe 10 towels I usually have to run through 4 dry settings to get them dry enough which is ridiculous. This is why we replaced our old Samsung dryer. Gonna be replacing our washing machine soon, and after this complete waste of a dryer purchase, we will definitely be looking at other avenues and brands for our washing machine upgrade. I have 2 college students and one middle school and 3 people working in my house and dont have time to wait 3 hours for dry clothes. Do not recommend this product as a dryer for anyone.

Our dishwasher got some problem 2 months ago. We called for help. Some technician came and changed motherboard without identifying the actual problem. We complaint again then they asked us to take the dishwasher for repair to workshop on 30th June,16 but until today they have not returned the machine yet. We called few times to LG and Best Denki but they told us waiting for parts and 2 weeks ago they said parts has come but until today dishwasher is not being delivered. Very disappointed with services. My wife having tough time since last 2 months without dishwasher.

I have always had good experiences with LG products. They are one of my favorite brands. Like that it is stand up side by side. It has water and ice on the door. It also has a light that brightens up the ice and water on the door. If I had to choose something to improve Id want more space inside. I do like the LG refrigerator. Its very nice aesthetically. It keeps the food inside at just the right temperature. I havent had any issues with it.

Bought the side by side April 1, 2015 and compressor is broken as of June 23, 2018 when I noticed water pooling and my ice cream soft. Purchased at Best Buy and they give you an extra yr warranty. The repairmen don’t work on Sundays and Mondays so I have to wait 4 days before my appt. Originally they wanted to schedule me for July 2 which is 1 1/2 wks away. My refrigerator is mildly cool and the freezer has stopped freezing. I paid extra for LG unit which advertised their quiet linear compressor. I am very dissatisfied that the unit broke in 3 yrs. That is ridiculous. I will make sure that I purchase extra warranty for I see more breakdowns in the future. Wished I would have purchased a Whirlpool which is Consumer Reports recommendation. A few of my friends have Whirlpool and no problems.Updated on 06/26/2018: Had the repairman out. I thought it was the linear compressor but it turns out its in the closed system where the freon is connected to the metal coils. He thinks there is a leak. It is only 3 yrs old. This should not be. Another appt has to be set up and a specialist will come to find the leak and put freon in. If they cant fix it, then I get a new refrigerator. This is Best Buy warranty. Today they dont come with a 5 yr warranty. I will also plan on buying extended warranty. Things arent made like they used to when assembly people put it together. My old GE lasted 20 years. That was in the 70s. They purposely design them to break down after ** years.

I did not know about this site when we purchased our LG products, freestanding double oven electric range, french door refrigerator and washer and dryer. Had the microwave but took it back right away as it was so dark inside and the light very dim. Bought a KitchenAid microwave and previously dishwasher. I have a problem with the self-clean feature of the oven. I have broiled steaks on the quick broil feature. Guess what when you use this feature, the fat will splatter inside the oven. After cooking the steaks I cleaned the oven but the floor of the oven in front of the door did not clean. It looked really baked on and you could not wipe it clean at all. I have the blue enamel oven. I did not touch this area - afraid I would void the warranty so called the executive warranty dept. Spoke with Wendy and she said they should be able to schedule an appt for Friday. Waited for the call but none came so we assumed they would show up on Friday.NO SHOW NO CALL. Called back and Wendy said her computer was down but we did get a response to schedule for the following Friday. Repair guy said it should not have done that either. Called Tech department and they told my husband to put wet paper towels over the area and use the easy clean feature. It did remove the baked on mess so they told us they would not warranty it. I was so madddd!!! I called and spoke with Brenda ** and she told me I didnt need to get an attitude with her. I explained that I am allowed to cook in the oven and that food will splatter (she said splatters are not covered by warranty). The oven has a self-clean feature and of course LG expects food to be splattered why else would you have a self-clean feature? I expect it to work and not to have to clean it first before I use the self-clean feature. The feature cleaned the oven beautifully except the foot and half area in front of the door.I told the rep that I felt it was a seal problem and it wasnt getting hot enough in that particular area to clean the food. She was going to check with her tech and emailed me that it was not covered under warranty. I emailed her back that was unacceptable. I wanted the general managers number and I was going to the Better Business Bureau and the Attorney Generals Office. I will not give up. I know they want me to cause our warranty is about up also and if they stall me then they wont have to deal with it. Now I just need to figure out how to contact him but am filing a complaint with both agencies. I did not know about this site before buying our products.

We purchased the Lg fridge model # LSC26905TT Serial # 706MRBW15621 in Marc
We purchased the Lg fridge model # LSC26905TT Serial # 706MRBW15621 in March 2008 from Best Buy. In August 2013 we discovered that at some point the hose in the back of the fridge feeding water into the ice maker and water dispenser had been leaking. Our basement as well as items in our basement were soaked and some things were ruined as well as the floor under the fridge and the surrounding cabinets. I made several attempts to contact the company directly via e-mail, which was the only information I could seem to find, when we discovered that the hose wasnt just leaking but it had burst for no apparent reason. I got no response at the time and gave up, calling Best Buy Geek Squad to make the repairs, being told by the repair person that it was rather unusual that the hose had burst and seemed to be a defect in the materials. In the following year I had noticed a sticky substance oozing from around the front of the freezer causing extensive damage to the seal around the freezer. The edges around the front of the freezer become extremely hot. There was a very loud squealing coming from something off and on and most recently I heard a sound of dripping water and discovered upon removing the back of the unit that water was dripping from an unidentified area and pooling at the bottom. We cleaned this up and I called Best Buy Geek Squad to look at it for possible repairs. When explaining all of the issues they told us to call Lg directly and provided a customer service number and I was able to reach someone directly this time. On October 1st a repair man by the name of Maximo came to the house and said that he had never seen the problems we were having. He took pictures and live streamed them to the home office, telling us to call in 3 business days to check on the repair status. He also said that he had noticed singe marks near/around some of the coils and to stop using the fridge as it was a fire hazard. When I called (the next day, not 3 business days later) I was told they could not tell me what they are thinking of doing but they definitely could not make any repairs to the fridge. I was told they would decide to either replace the fridge or give us some sort of a refund check. I explained I have a toddler in the house and not having a fridge for an undetermined amount of time is difficult and the woman by the name of Angelica told me she would make a note to expedite the decision. Oct 6th was the third business day and I was still not told what they intended to do just that I needed to provide a receipt of purchase. Again I explained I have a small child and need to provide items such as milk for her and would like to know how long it would be and I was told only when we provide the receipt could they proceed with their decision. One day later, Oct 7th I was finally told by a woman named Barbara that when they receive the receipt they would determine a prorated refund to provide. She was very rude hanging up on me but not before speaking to me as though I was a child, when in fact I am an upset dissatisfied customer with a defective fridge that I thought just needed a bit of repairs and now I am being told they cannot fix it because they dont even know what is wrong with it yet we are responsible for purchasing a new fridge out of pocket. I did also speak with her supervisor by the name of Michael. He was very kind but not very helpful, again telling me it would be a prorated refund of most likely only about $200. This was a $1500 fridge that is only 6 years old that is broken due to manufacturer defect and I find that to be an unacceptable solution, especially considering the fridge was a fire hazard and could have set my house on fire at any time of the day or night putting my entire family at risk including my daughter who is not yet 2 years of age, and this is all due to manufacturer defect, not something the customer has done yet the customer is the one made to deal with all the consequences. I dont know of any other brand fridge that breaks after only 6 years of use and the company obviously doesnt stand behind their products seeing as they are not willing or able to fix the problem, and in researching Lg further I see there are hundreds of similar complaints against the quality of their products as well as their poor customer service. This consumer will never purchase Lg again.

I’m very disappointed in my LG refrigerator. I only had it 3 years and it broke down twice. Both times we had no refrigerator for almost two weeks. The second time was a compressor which between the repair company and LG suppliers it did not make our Life Good. The new compressor is report-ably an improved version of the original compressor, which begs the question why the cheap one first and what other parts do LG appliances have that are inferior and unreliable. I will never buy an LG product again. I also had medicine that needed to be refrigerated and LG didn’t even care, I was so inconvenienced for almost 2 weeks I had to throw out food and again they didn’t care. Lee and Mary Lou.

I have a LG Ft.Loader washer I bought from Sears around 2 years ago. Went to use it to wash clothes. When in the spin the washer makes a banging noise real loud.. turned it off. Called Sears to service it. They told me it would cost 250.00 dollars to come out and check it out plus parts if needed. I said no. Toomuch, just to check it out.. So I said the hell with it. I will buy a new one and not a LG. So I bought a Samsung top loader. So I will check out the old washer. I did. I found out what was wrong with it. I took the ft. cover off and the bottom right came off the tub. So found out what was wrong. The dummies that made this washer should have put washers on the bolts that hold the weights on. Its made like, you screw the bolt in this plastic thing that spreads open. In wear, it comes off. If they had used a washer on it, it would not done this. So I feel the washer is a piece of crap. Never to buy a LG washer again.

Purchased unit new approx. 15 months ago; one of the benefits of this unit was the high-speed tub helping to dry clothes-- reducing dryer loads. While in use with only a queen-sized mattress pad the tub broke away from drive unit during spin cycle and sent the unit literally bouncing-off the 2 nearest walls (destroying drywall). The unit top and rear panels were separated from the body, and the body walls were expanded (rounded outward). The unit wouldnt fit through door frame. This could present potential safety issue!!! Beware!!!

The LG washer started making oil spots in our clothes. I learned from a friend who is a technician to apply DAWN dishwasher liquid to the spots and let soak. After washing, if the spots come out, its from the machine. I have to clean my machine once a month with a commercial cleaner that is expensive to use. The problem with the washer is that all the cycles except for the towel, bulky items, and large loads do not use enough water to get the soap out of the clothes. The so-called water saving modes are causing the spots. LG tech service is of no help. The LG dryer lint tray compacts the lint so if you dont clean inside the lint trap, the tray will not go all the way down. I had several clothes that were torn because of this. I will never buy another LG appliance again!

I have bought LFX31925ST French door refrigerator from Home Depot with extended warranty for 5 years on Aug 2013. I had to replace new compressor and some other parts from warranty which took 2 months to get the refrigerator back again. Then last month, our refrigerator and freezer went down again and this time we were out of warranty and only covered parts and labor cost were $450 from LG certified technician.I have called LG and they said that they cant help and it has been 7 years and it is common to have compressor down, but I think my compressor was replaced 2 years ago. Can someone advise on who to call to file a complaint on this matter? I have distance learning kids and having to buy food for each meal is very cost consuming and I just hope that this time our refrigerator will work for long time, but need to know if LG has low satisfaction with high cost.

I purchased the LG gas convection range in Aug 2016. Its been a learning curve getting used to the gas convection oven mode, I previously had a dual fuel range, using electric convection (worked great). One of the reasons for purchase was the angled and higher control knobs, which I thought would take care of turning the knobs on accidentally. My 12 year old Kenmore Elite range exploded inside while on self cleaning cycle (glad I was home & in the kitchen when it happened). I turned on the knobs accidentally on the Kenmore often, hated that. So got the LG. Well I was still able to turn on the knobs by brushing against them, like others have stated. Definitely a design hazard. So I quickly went to Target and got the childproof knobs covers. I placed them on the 2 outside knobs on the right and left side burners. This left the middle knob uncovered on each side. The covers fit perfectly and NO MORE accidental turning on knobs. I can use all the controls without difficulty. Now the Easy Clean is a joke. It worked two times initially, since then it does nothing except pool water in my oven. The program is 10 minutes per the manual and timer on the range. I now see it says 20 minutes on the website, Hmmmm. At any rate when the cycle is done, the oven isnt warm and the water is COLD. So Im using the self clean mode, well see if it does better. I dont use my oven much. Otherwise, I am fairly happy so far, paid $1600 for the LG. I loved my Kenmore Elite and had no problems until the elements blew up inside & damaged the oven, out of warranty. I hope I get 12 years on this one, glad I purchased extended warranty for 5 years.

LG Waveforce Top Load Washer - I have not been happy with this product since day 1. After careful and close observation, I have come to the conclusion that this machine corrects for its inefficiencies by doubling and tripling some of the rinse and spin cycles, thereby making it MORE inefficient than the center-agitator style washing machine. I mean, really, it tells you a load will be 53 minutes and it ends up taking an hour and 53 minutes because of the extra cycles it runs itself thru just to balance and re-balance. When this thing dies (hurry, hurry) Im going back to the center-agitator style washer if theyre still on the market. So much for energy and water efficient washing machines. Geez, just clean my clothes without all this computer controlled inefficiency - paleeze.

The ice maker/water dispenser has never worked properly. It was replaced during the warranty stage. Now theres a crack in it where the water fills up before going into the trays inside. Water is constantly leaking out the dispenser. The ice maker freezes up and to get it out to unclog it, you have to yank really hard since its frozen in place by the water that leaks out. The door is being ruined due to the constant water leak. Also, the plastic veggie/meat drawers are both cracked. Really thin edges on them. Just yesterday, the plastic cover on the edge of the shelf came off and wont stay on anymore.

I wished that I could have read this blog before I purchased my LG refrigerator. I purchased my refrigerator 4 years ago and have had the fuse blown twice, ruining all the contents of my refrigerator. The servicemans fix was using a paperclip to bypass the fuse and order me a new board, which would cost $400 (if I didnt have warranty). He explained that on this refrigerator, the fuse was located on the main circuit board and when the little fuse blows, you have to replace the whole board, which costs around $400.00, and it takes awhile to obtain. Two years almost to that day, my refrigerator went out again due to the same issue. I had extended warranty through Home Depot. It took a week to get a serviceman to my home, to hear that the main fix is to by-pass the fuse with a paperclip or some wire. I was told that LG is aware of the poor design and hasnt made any changes to keep this problem from occurring again. I lost another refrigerator full of food and some expensive medications to hear the paper clip is the answer again! I told the service repair that I wanted a new board ordered and placed on the back of this expensive refrigerator to hear him say that it is a temporary fix. LG has an issue with their product, people have contacted them, and they seem not to care. I contacted via Live Chat to hear, I am sorry for your inconvenience and had enough of that pre-typed message and asked for a supervisor. The supervisor said that there was nothing they could do but would pass my complaint on to a claims review dept. and that they may or may not contact me to help resolve the issue. I asked for a phone number to contact LG and was told by John (the supervisor) that he did not have a number for me to talk with someone about my issue. This was all that I needed to hear from someone online. It seems that LG hides behind their Live Chat personnel and are not interested in addressing their issues. Home Depot should be embarrassed to carry their products. We teach our children to make their wrongs right. I guess LG missed out on that lesson!

We purchased an LG Gas Range in November of 2012. Starting in May of 2015, the oven racks started becoming a struggle to slide them in and out of the oven. We noticed that the blue enamel was gone on the tracks where the oven racks slide in and out. We have contacted LG and they keep giving us the run around. We even sent pictures where it was evident that the enamel was gone and you could clearly see the metal. They responded with the following email, Sir: This is with regard to the request of range racks for model#LRG3095st. The unit was purchased 11/15/2012 which is over a year and not qualified for us to send you the racks for free. This racks can be ordered with our Parts Distributor, MCM ELECTRONICS phone# 800-824-9491. Also, regarding the pictures that you sent to us which have stains on the blue enamel, these were caused by liquids, sauces, grease, and other foods spilled or splattered inside the oven which is cosmetic issue, therefore not covered. So, all they ever wanted to do was have us order our own racks and state that these were stained by grease, liquids, etc. Obviously, he did not look at the picture and it appears he is stating that these things will eat the enamel off of the inside of the stove to where the metal is exposed... LG has a problem and is not wanting to take care of any problem pertaining to their product. Their customer service representative told me that it was out of warranty and that it is not covered. So basically, the enamel in the LG oven that costs around $1,000 is only meant to last 2 to 3 years. DONT BUY ANY LG PRODUCTS OR YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!

It had a leaking Tromm front loader. This ruined my 180 sq. ft. of ash hardwood flooring costing approximately $2000.00. After the floor was replaced and a pan placed under the machine, I have noticed that it fills up about once a week. This leak is coming from the dispenser tray! I noticed water and soap residue on the inside of the front panel that had also caused the door hinge to start rusting. After closer inspection of the dispenser during operation, I can see water hitting the angled section of the tray and running over the side. LG said a repair tech would have to fix this, but without a newly designed part, it will just do the same thing again. This is not caused by too much soap as some might suggest because it does this with or without adding soap! The only solution I see is to buy another brand after spending over $1000.00 a year for a poorly designed product.

Last year we had an issue with the LG refrigerator. The compressor went out. Then one year later, the compressor went out again. They were trying to charge us to get it fixed when it was a manufacturing issue. They needed to fix it with the corrected part rather than brushing it off and putting the same part back in of a different model. The first tech that came out was terrible. So my husband called and talked to a supervisor. Then the next person that came out was the same guy who came the year before and he knew exactly what the issue was. So after going round and round with LG, they did fix it. That took two weeks and I was not satisfied with that timeframe at all. I was also told that it would probably happen again. So, were looking to get rid of it.

LG WT4870C Top Load Washer - I would like to give this washer zero stars. It has to be the worst washing machine I have ever owned. The cleaning process takes much longer than the timer indicates. The clothing is not clean. I still have underarm stains, pet hairs, make-up on my clothing after a wash. The IE error comes on after each and every wash making the process longer as I have to reset it to Spin Only in order to get the clothing wrung out. I will never buy this type of non agitating agitator machine again. I wish I could get my money back but I waited too long. I hated it after the first week. We bought a top load LG Direct Drive Inverter HE washing machine almost 18 months ago. The washing machine was supposed to be efficient on use of water and electricity. From the beginning we have not been able to complete ANY load without getting UE (uneven load) multiple times. The washer has been checked for level and balance and even with just an empty load it continues to get an UE code. Water usage has gone up as it never completes a load without going in UE mode multiple times. Electricity use has gone up. We cannot leave this washing machine and never expect for the load to complete. All settings have been tested and it makes no difference if a small or large load. WORST washing machine we have ever owned and will never buy an LG again. We were told when we purchased it from Home Depot it was a top of the line. It will be getting junked out this week and we will be purchasing another machine. Not LG and not from Home Depot. Apparently this is a known issue but there is no resolution and no compensation for those of us that have battled these machines over the last 12-24 months or longer.

Just the phone calls alone feel like theyve taken years off my life! The call center that handles the calls is obviously outsourced and makes for major language barriers. We had numerous repairmen assist with the issues. Not one time was there any resolution. We have a family of five and Im blessed as the Laundry Goddess. LG Washer/Dryer unit. Noticed water on floor, thought it was the washer. Repairman identified water coming from dryer. He was not able to fix the problem. Might add, weve passed the one yr. warranty and didnt purchase an extended warranty thinking back over 50 yrs of never having to call a W/D repair person. After some personal research discovered the water drain was not connected to the proper reservoir. Never saw a drop of water in the prescribed reservoir which means it was never properly installed at the factory or whatever reason LG can figure who to blame. Theyve given me some repair phone #s. None service our area. Discovered that they have a very narrow presence for repair people. This is a BUYER BEWARE of LG. No service, poor and rude customer service and a phone number with a broken answering string. In the meantime, LG has a duty and a responsibility to mitigate all damages and the Consumer Affairs Division of the State of California needs to look into a company that sells their products without providing a reasonable method of getting repair service. Their star deserves a huge Zero. I bought both items at Home Depot and they could not give me a repair person for LG. Right now were stuck with having an expensive dryer that doesnt work. Carting a basket of wet laundry to dry outside is a huge inconvenience for an 80 yr. old.

Our 4.5 yr old refrigerator sounded like a Dash 8 aircraft for a few days before 2 fans in it stopped working entirely. We just had a LG repairman come out after waiting 3 days and prepaying the special price of $199.00 plus GST only to be told that LG no longer carry the parts that we need for model LFX23965ST. He said that we will have to get a new appliance. We were in shock because the call center agent said that the fee would cover all costs of parts and labor. Who would ever dream that LG would no longer carry parts for an appliance that would not even be considered old by any reasonable person!!! Our appliance was purchased at Home Depot along with an electric stove and a dishwasher.

I purchased a L.G. refrigerator model # LFXS29766S approximately 5 years ago. 2.5 years after purchase it completely failed and stopped working. We waited approximately 3 weeks for it to be prepared and life went on. Now 2 years later the same problem has occurred and my family is once again without a refrigerator. This time however dealing with the customer service department had been horrible. I have now been without a working refrigerator for 3 weeks and have not heard from L.G. once. I have spent several hours on hold on many days just trying to get some help. Completely disappointed with the products life span. You cant sell a product for nearly 3,000 dollars and have it not work. Based on the current situation I find it difficult to believe that I will EVER purchase a L.G. product again. Currently Ive been placed on infinite hold because I asked to speak with a supervisor. Thanks Shawn/Sean # ** for your amazing lack of help and waste of time.

In May of 2020 in the middle of the pandemic food shortage it quit cooling for four days, then magically started working again then in JAN 2021 it stopped cooling again and today Im told that it has a gas leak and that has leak are common on these LG units and to avoid all LG and Samsung refrigerators. Not at all what I was expecting from a very expensive fridge from a top name brand company. Never again. The was not my first but will be my last LG product unless they do something for me. I spent $2379.00 for my LG Fridge Model number LFX21976ST/02. I have had it since 2011. Not long compared to every other refrigerator I have ever had. It had been a total piece of junk since I purchased. The ice maker never works. You have to unplug the door to the ice and chip the ice as it never comes down. The french door closure has broke and it a nightmare. It has to be closed in a certain order or it remains open. The only problem is, there is no indication it is open, so I have had spoiled food on at least 4 occasions. Now I find out the Compressor has gone out. In 5 years??? I live alone and its not opened and closed constantly. I will NEVER buy a product from them ever again. In fact Im throwing out this one and just going to get a new cheap one.

Bought this Washer sometime in 2011 and since about 2 months after we bought it, it has a mold build up around the front gasket! Called LG and they said you have to clean the front gasket and keep it clear every few days or after a few loads as it blocks the drain. We started cleaning the front gasket and kept using the clean drum feature with bleach and still kept building up MOLD. Now I see that other people are having the same problem as me. Thanks LG. Will NEVER buy a LG product again.

Purchased an LG Refrigerator only 2 years ago, compressor has already failed. Been without refrigerator for nearly five weeks because of constant run around from LG (also purchased the extended warranty), had two different repair companies (both sent from LG as certified company to do repair) and bottom line is the parts are not available because of the multitude of Compressor failures. It will be at least two months before a compressor is through production and shipped from Korea. For all of you experiencing compressor failure PLEASE CONTACT THE FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION AND YOUR STATE ATTORNEY GENERALS OFFICE. This is obviously a recall situation but they wont do that. For all of you being told your repairman cant fix your refrigerator, that is not true, there simply are no parts available and when that is the case LG is in breach of their warranties and would be forced to issue you a refund or replace on your purchase, they are giving you the run around to avoid having to pay. DONT LET THEM GET AWAY WITH IT, KEEP THE PRESSURE ON.

LG WASHER WT5001CW SERIAL 006KWWZ00297 - We purchased this EXPENSIVE washer in December 2010 before my auto accident and I had a great job. We loved it while it was working properly!!!! Now 4 1/2 years later, I am disabled and my wife of 32 years left. I live on very little thru no fault of my own and now this washer has been down for 5 weeks. Approx a year ago, we started having trouble with excessive vibration thru all cycles. This machine does not have an agitator and is a top load wave force washer. We called LG and found out it was under recall. LG sent techs out and changed out the main computer board free of charge. We noticed that the cycles got longer and we still had a vibration although it was better. We were told that it would get better over time. It did not so we just lived with it. Then 5 weeks ago my daughter came to wash clothes for me. During a rinse cycle, it sounded like the world came to an end. Upon inspection, the entire pulsator assy. came apart (bottom plate, center cap and center bolt) and hit the glass top. After dealing with LG multiple times, finally, a tech was sent out. It was the same guy who had previously change out the computer board. He got on the phone with his company and scheduled a repair tech. A week later, he shows up wanting an upfront payment (NOT!!!!!) so he left. I called LG. Now they say there is no record of our contacting them. I have begged these folks for help. Finally I got a number of an authorized LG repair person locally. Now it seems that the main bearing has gone out and most likely for what its gonna cost to fix this washer is over half what I paid for it - SERIOUSLY????????? The machine is 4 1/2 years old and if this is what service and longevity LG products now have, then I have bought my last one - I can go back to a brand new standard washer for what it will cost to fix this thing. SHAME ON YOU LG!!!!! I understand all things can break down, but your customer service is now CRAP.

I purchased a LG Premium Repair and Protect Service Plan on 6/14/17 ($385) because of a problem with my washer. A tech came out several days later and determined that the tub seal had failed and water had destroyed the bearing. He ordered a part, which took weeks to show up. He replaced the part but the machine wasnt right. He tried removing & replacing the part but that didnt help. He said he contacted LG support service for contract techs and they gave him several thing to try but none worked. The tech made a total of 5 visits before deciding to replace the bearing assembly and the tub. It has now been three months!, 90 days!!, 1/4 of a year!!!, and nothing. Ive called LG numerous times and get the run-a-round. They have to wait on a report from one department or another, they need to check on the parts order, they need to contact the service tech, they tell me the tech will be contacting me shortly, and on and on and... Every time I call its the same routine.

Bought a supposedly top of the line washer dryer LG Tromm set in 2006. Washer broke down, as it was out of warranty, paid for diagnostic repair from company referred by LG and was quoted more than $1000.00, so decided to buy a newer LG washer model only to find out that installers wont install as the newer models stacking kits will not match the older models. LG has a lot of discontinued products, one of them is this WM2277HS. Parts are not even available. So when one breaks down, it is not repairable, and instead of just replacing just one appliance, you have to buy both the washer and dryer even if the other one is not broken, as none of the current models will match with the older appliance, specially the stackable models. Customer service is very poor, no one seems to know anything. So I suppose, LG in a way make their products not last long enough and then will not have parts available, or repairs will cost more than a new machine.

I am buyer of fht1409zwl model, paid 38k INR. Biggest drawback is washing quality. (Reviewing after 15 day use) When I compare with my old top load washing machine it not even near by it. Second drum size for 9 kg are same as 7 and 8 kg. When I ask same thing from their representative they say their inner motor is differ, motherboard is different. Practically you cant put 9 kg cloths in one run. Waste of money for 9 kg. I am not writing this because of 7, 8 and 9 kg drum issues, but due to washing quality. I use other products of LG. They are extremely good, but not in case of WM. I dont need this product anymore. I love to use old one. BTW I am using other LG product like TV, refrigerator and they are working awesome. Not posting because of any hate feeling but my genuine problem.

I purchased my LG front load steam washer, model WM2501HWA, in April of 2010. It worked fine until May 2014 when it just stopped mid-spin cycle. It totally lost all power. I checked the obvious, tripped breaker switch, plugs, and all was fine. So I called a repair company that was recommended to me by a friend. They diagnosed the problem as a bad power board. It was also recommended that I replace the noise filter at the same time. Parts and labor would be over $300 not including diagnostic fee. After waiting a month for the parts, they installed them and it worked. After about 6 loads it died again! Ive been waiting for the new parts and its been over a month! I asked the repair company if they could just refund my money so I could just get a new one and they said they wanted to install the new parts first. They have yet to receive my parts and I am spending $25 a week at the laundromat. The first mistake I made was buying an LG washer and dryer. My second mistake was calling a bad repair company. I am currently out $300 and have no working washer. I am so mad!! Dont buy LG!!!

I purchased a brand new LG linear compressor French Door with the glass sneak peek feature on July 23, 2021 from Best Buy for $3500! In early December – Just 5 months later – the refrigerator stopped cooling. It is now Jan 11, 2022 and I have had 5 LG technicians come to my home with 5 different possible causes from – You must have left your refrigerator open- to – Maybe YOU spilled something down into the ducts causing the compressor to die – to – The doors are not level, the front cross strip is not balanced, and the compressor was installed wrong and is now leaking Freon! STILL, they don’t return calls and just continue to send technicians every 7 days. They have ordered at least 5 parts and still – the fridge does not get below 46 degrees!!! The freezer frosts, the ice maker drips and I am fed up. I keep calling and making complaints – I think they are due for another class action lawsuit! LG means Losing Game! DO NOT BUY THEIR REFRIGERATORS. ONE TECHNICIAN TOLD ME HE HAS NEVER SEEN THEM REPLACE A FRIDGE IN HIS CAREER! A refund is a unicorn. LG, I’ll keep calling for my $3500 hunk of metal. I’ve had to buy backup deep freezers and form refrigerators to keep milk in the house! LG – stick to washers and terrible cell phones. I was last told that they cannot replace until I’ve had 4 repairs. I have now had 5! No calls back. I PURSUE ALL CALLS AND REPAIRS.

I order a part (freezer fan) for my refrigerator (7 years old) on 10-21-16 and is in manufacturer backorder until according to LG, 12-31-16. After several calls to LG customer service (first call answered from Philippines) without answers. Today I call LG parts. They transfer me to east coast parts authorized store (NOT LG) and they gave me the 12-31-16 date. When I ask why take too long she said because the refrigerator is old and they do not stock parts from discontinued models. Sears sold 750 of this failing fans. That means they have a quality problem with the product and should have stock to resolve the inconvenience. Recommendation STAY AWAY FROM LG PRODUCTS.

This is what that company said: Sorry, I dont provide this service. I suggest calling LG if under 5 years. If older replace unit. LG is known for sealed system issues. We no longer work on LG sealed system because of their known issues. We cant warranty something that we know doesnt last. The next call for repair was 10/27/10 for the same problem. It was supposedly fixed again. For the record, it still goes out on occasion, we were told this is a problem with LG refrigerators. The next service call was 09/01/11. This time, the refrigerator was too warm, going up to 50 degrees. Thank God we still had our old fridge in the basement we could transfer our food to. The technician told us the cause was freezing up in the tube that transferred cold air from the freezer to the fridge. He thawed everything out, and it worked okay till recently. I called for repair again for the same problem. Thanks to our old Kenmore in the basement which kicks the LGs **. Thank heaven we purchased an extended warranty. When I called this last time, I complained to the person I was talking to, saying I think we deserve a new fridge, her reply was we can extend our warranty. Give me a break. Reading these other complaints, I dont think a new LG would solve our problems. We would just get a new set of headaches. I kind of look at the fridge as buying a car, turns bad there is a lemon law that protects the customer. The compressor is like the engine of a car going bad. Well, the Tech did call in to Atlanta, Georgia to request a new compressor and should arrive in two days. He said it would take three (3) hours to replace. Hello, after several weeks of looking at refrigerators, my wife and I purch
Hello, after several weeks of looking at refrigerators, my wife and I purchased a new LG refrigerator in December, 2017. This past weekend it stopped cooling. Due to COVID19 the customer service department at LG has reduced hours. I contacted them on Monday morning at 8am and filed a warranty repair. I was told that “someone” would contact me in 24 to 48 hours. I was contacted by an approved service repair company the same day. The repair contractor offered to come out on Thursday. I didn’t find that acceptable when faced with over $1,000.00 of food that would be wasted. So I called LG back and the supervisor gave me 3 other names that I could call. I was able to reach two of them. Both were able to schedule me today!I called LG back to learn that if I wanted a different “approved” service provider to fix it that it would require a letter of authorization from them and that would take 2 to 4 days to issue! What? So my wife went out on a mission to find a suitable freezer that I could purchase to put in our garage. No luck! Due to COVID19 food hoarders the earliest I could get one delivered was possibly Thursday! Again, no solution.By 4pm I was faced with emptying out my refrigerator or scheduling another repair company. So I decided to schedule one on my own. They are coming today. I called LG back this morning and asked to speak to a manager. I spoke to a lady in the “executive” team. She told me that 4 days to get a repair technician wasn’t “that” long and because I was taking matters into my own hands, it would void the warranty! What??? I am voiding my warranty by getting one of their approved service providers to fix my refrigerator faster than they could get it scheduled? Not only did I find one but both of the providers I called were faster than the one assigned. And, because I circumvented their system, I lose my warranty? Nobody informed me till this morning that taking the matter into my own hands for resolution would void my warranty.None of this makes any sense. We spent over $4,000.00 on this refrigerator for it to go out within 2.5 years. Dealing with customer service has been a horrible experience. I cannot believe that obtaining service from an authorized service company would void my warranty. I can’t believe that when I found one that could come quicker than 4 days, LG wasn’t appreciative and simply move my order. Instead, they penalized me. There is nothing right, easy or customer oriented about the process I have experienced. It’s downright wrong.

I purchased a top load wave balance from Home Depot in November 2001 and waited for delivery until January 2002. Within two years of delivery, I noticed that the bleach dispenser had started to corrode around the plastic cup. The dispenser has now corroded to the point that it is laying on the wall of the agitator and dropping rust into the loads of clothes that I wash. I contacted LG headquarters and was told that since my warranty had expired I needed to contact a repair person at my own expense for repair. No explanation was given as to why the dispenser would corrode and start to drop.I previously had a Maytag washer that lasted 20 years with only minor repairs at the end. I am very disgusted with LGs customer satisfaction policy and Ive bought my first and last LG product. I guess in the 21st century customer service does not matter to big corporations. They just want your money and once they could care less. Ive got many single women friends and I will definitely discourage them from buying anything from LG.

This washer has many problems. The timer gets stuck. It will say it has 30 minutes until finished, but 20 minutes later, it still says it has 30 minutes to go. It does not get clothes clean. Clothes get tangled in a ball, then the machine gets unbalanced. But, worst of all, I have had many things ruined - they come out with what looks like bleach spots and I dont use bleach. I dont know what causes that problem. I wish I had never bought this machine.

I wanted to let everyone know that there is a class action lawsuit for the refrigerators with the light not going out. It has been settled. Our four-year-old refrigerator (LG Refrigerator Model No. LCF25760SW with French doors) is having ice maker problems too. There are no repairmen in our area. It leaked water out into the floor while we were at work and caused floor damage. I ordered another ice maker from someone that LG recommended. It still has problems. Home Depot is where I bought it, but I cant get them to give me a repairmans phone number either. I will never ever buy another LG product again as long as I live. If you live in the middle of nowhere, dont buy LG products! They are not worth the price at all or the trouble.

My husband and I were recently upgrading our stainless steel appliances. Keep in mind I loved my old ones but my daughter was getting a new house so we thought we would give her ours and get we! I did some research and found the items I wanted at Lowes! I had them delivered and loved the way they looked! After my first load of dishes I was wanting my old appliances back. I called lowes and they told me oh they would never recommend an LG Dishwasher! Not only is the dishwasher horrible it does not get the dishes clean and leaves water and spots on everything but the stainless steel always looks horrible! Ive had stainless before but for some reason this brand is horrible! I am now noticing small dings in the appliances. It is just my husband and I were very careful so the durability of these appliances is horrible.

I purchased a $700 LG washing machine. After 1.5 years, the machine stopped working. It literally died, no display, no nothing, right in the middle of a wash. The lid was electric, therefore we could not get our clothes out of the machine (in about 12 inches of water). We had 4 different servicemen out (sent by LG) and none of them knew how to open the lid, until the 4th arrived with a 9 volt battery and got it open. Of course, the clothes were ruined. I explained the situation to LG and they actually sent me a check for $275 (the estimated cost of the clothing) and Best Buy gave me credit for the defective machine, which we used to upgrade to a better model LG washing machine. The new expensive machine continually gave the UE error message, inappropriately. It would show this even when we were cleaning the tub and nothing was in it. This got so bad eventually it started taking us a day or more to complete one load of clothes.Sooooo, I put in another call to customer service, who repeatedly told me it was out of warranty and they couldnt do anything. I asked to speak to someone in management and was transferred to executive services. They actually listened to my story, sympathized with me and sent out a repairman (who ordered parts, over $900) and fixed the machine. It now runs great! So, even though some companies like LG make a product that has serious performance issues, their customer service has done an excellent job addressing my concerns and going out of their way to make it right.

I originally chose LG because of the price but over time it became a great brand that was totally worth it. I was expecting much less from LG but they far surpassed my expectations. I like the ice maker and smartphone functionality, its pretty nice. I can connect it to my phone, play music on it, pour the water to almost any temperature nearly instantly, open sections without touching it, and more. I like all of it, my refrigerator has so much functionality I couldnt imagine switching to anything else, except maybe the Samsung one. The price was good. The overall fridge is just perfect.

We bought model LFX31925SB/00 in 2012. Within a few weeks it started making loud sounds and by the second month, it died the first time. LG sent a repair guy and he reset it and it was fine. After about four week, it died again. This time he came back and had to replace the motherboard. I had made a couple weeks worth of meals, because I was having a baby. We came home from the hospital and the refrigerator was dead and the kitchen was FLOODED!! We lost all of our food AND had a damaged floor. I had to deal with the LG customer service, which was a waste of time. They did absolutely nothing. Then I had to call hhgregg and deal with their customer service. Im not sure which one is worse. We ended up getting a repair man ourselves, who had to replace the motherboard three times. What we thought was a good investment has ended up costing us probably five times more than what we spent buying it, counting what we lost when it died. We wouldve been better off buying the most expensive, top of the line refrigerators out there. At least then we would have something that would be worth the money we spent.

My old refrigerator went out and the LG was on sale for a good price so I bought it. Was kinda small but I needed something in a hurry and they could bring it the same day. Would freezer burn food fast and no room to make ice cubes. The shelves on the fridge couldnt hold 2 gallons of milk at 1 time. It was really just a standard refrigerator. Nothing special. Just cheap and worked as it should. Wish it had room to make ice cubes but it ran for years without any issues.

I purchased an LG Dishwasher model number LDF7811WW for $610.00. From day 1, the thing never really cleaned our dishes (we also rinse them before putting them in the dishwasher too). This is our timeline with this lovely dishwasher: purchased it on 4-27-08. It wasn’t cleaning dishes, so on 3-26-09, I called there repair number. A guy came out and adjusted the cam for the upper and lower spray arms. It was still not cleaning dishes. I called the repair number again on 5-18-09. A serviceman came out again, had to replace the motor. On 3-22-10, it was having problems again not cleaning dishes. I called their repair number and a guy came out. He had to replace the sump assembly (which he said was the guts of the dishwasher). On 7-25-11, I had to call yet again. The dishwasher was not cleaning dishes. I called their number, he again had to replace the sump assembly (the guts of the dishwasher) and now it is 11 -2-12, I’m having trouble again. So within 4 years, I have had the major components of the dishwasher replaced 3 times and I’m sure it’s going to be the fourth when the guy comes again later this week. I called customer service for LG and they pass the buck and say it is up to my extended warranty people, which thank God we purchased (because we usually don’t). They say that the part has to go bad 3 times within a year to be considered for the lemon law. Well, if you ask me this is a lemon. I should have kept my 20-year-old Whirlpool dishwasher which I never had a problem with but just was updating the kitchen so we replaced it. Big mistake! In my opinion, this is not standing behind their product. I’m sure, to them people $610.00 is nothing, but in this household, it is very hard to come by and I want to get what I paid for. I could have bought lemons much cheaper at the grocery store. Buyers beware.

I bought an LG dryer 4 years ago and have already had it repaired twice. Only once was it under warranty. Now, my dryer was making large clunky sounds as it turned. I called the repair company that was used under the warranty and they came out to look at it. They found the drum to be cracked at the weld. I looked that up on the internet and found several other complaints for the same problem. Well, I immediately called customer service and talked with them. The gentleman I talked to said that he would email me the paperwork so that I could make a claim. Well, the email came in without a claim number which I needed to attach the pictures and original purchase receipt. Well, the email came without a claim number. I emailed them back and was told I needed to call customer service. Two days later, I get a phone call telling me that they wouldn’t cover the cost of a new drum because I already had it replaced. Mind you, this was two weeks after the initial call. Well, needless to say, they refused to reimburse me because I didn’t want to wait for them to send one of their repair people out to look at it so they could charge me another $80.00 just to look at it on top of the $50.00 already paid to another company to find the problem. For supposed to be top-of-the-line appliances, they are nothing but problems. I would not recommend buying any LG appliances whatsoever.

We purchased an LG front load washer and dryer and they both work fairly well. However, the front of the washing machine is rusting! Yes rusting, right by the soap dispenser. It sounds ridiculous that after 4 years the machine is rusting, but worse than that was the companys response. LG does not care. They act like they care, they tell you they care, they express their sorrow, but they wont fix the issue. They do absolutely nothing! They expressed to me that I must continually dry that area. In the manual it tells you to keep it dry! Not that the design is bad, not that the dish should not leak, but that by not constantly drying that area it could rust! I asked if they ever heard of this happening and they said no. Then I searched online and found out, that was not the case. This is absolutely a problem! A $1,000 problem. Supposedly a reputable company but what a piece of garbage! My last LG experience for sure!

What a HORRIBLE company. My refrigerator compressor went out after only 3 years. We have an extended warranty. They failed to show for the service appt, did not notify me via the text chain they CONFIRMED from, called from a FRAUDULENT NUMBER and then said THE CUSTOMER was unavailable? I called that day and rescheduled for 2 days later. They still did not show up. I called and they said they closed the claim because they NEVER HEARD FROM ME after the first appt???? Yes. they did (in fact their EXECUTIVE SUPPORT LINE HEARD FROM ME) and they told me my rescheduled day and time was today 8-12. At this point, they said it was going to be ANOTHER WEEK?! Why NO PRIORITY when THEY caused these delays?? Finally agreed to allow for and outside service provider to come out. I called him immediately and he was amazing. He was there within 30 min to assess the situation. Between him coming and 2 hours later, I got a NEW case number with a NEW service provider (which I didnt need or ask for) and they CANCELLED THE TICKET HE WAS WORKING FROM!!!! Now he cant order parts for me, and they expect me to sit home ALL DAY tomorrow to wait for another technician to come out?? I have never experienced a worse customer service situation in my life. I will never buy anything LG again and will definitely be spreading my story anywhere I can. Still no fridge, lost all of our food and no resolution or ounce of compassion from this company. I purchased this fridge 2 years ago; it had good reviews and I was assured by the 10 yr compressor warranty. Turns out that you are just buying an ongoing problem! How can LG sell a known defective product? The refrigerator we replaced worked well for 27 years. Our warranty was voided because we tried to have it fixed first by a non-accredited LG tech, but it is the compressor that went out and LG has abandoned us in a technicality. And if we had it repaired, in all likelihood it would go out again in 2 years. I love the design and look, but not worth the $3k problem. After jumping through all the hoops sending them a receipt, proof of damage, etc., I was expecting my $ back since it had a one year warranty. Completely unsatisfied with this nonsense, I called and spoke to a gentleman that passed me on to supposedly the supervisor. She said that we were to send a letter explaining why we bought a GE microwave instead of an LG microwave along with additional documentation. Why would I buy another LG product? My LG side by side refrigerator freezer stopped working 8/5/21. Was purchased in 2015. Called customer service and was provided authorized servicemen, (3). Called and neither were able to assist. One was out of business. Upon speaking again, customer service explained authorization process (1-3) weeks. Not acceptable I told her. I had a tech to come out and it was the linear compressor. Talked with customer service again 8/6/21. Informed her all my food was about spoil. Working between neighbors and coolers to salvage some. I explained process needed to speed up and I had already researched the LG lawsuit its linear compressors. She finally gave me an extended warranty and referred me to A&E Factory Svcs. Upon researching this company it has a 1 star rating (not good). I plan to reach out to BBB and Attorney General. The part is $400, and labor is $600. She assured me with the extended warranty all would be covered. We will wait to see this. Look to hear from me soon. Jacqueline

I have now seen hundreds if not thousands of online pictures of my similar issue with this product. The control panel is NOT sealed correctly so the steam seeps out on the top and has entered the thin plastic which encases the control panel and created small but obvious cracks. This would not happen if the door/panel was sealed tightly with some form of a seal, which it is not. It is plastic meets plasic on a edge. Therefore the steam enters creating heat and pressure and cracking the display as well as allowing moisture into the electrical panel.** Here is a link to a video that shows the issue. This is a design flaw. Its also a hazard since the water vapor is seeping into the panel. My dishwasher is also not very old. I do not recommend this product since the design flaw not only has NOT been fixed, it has not been addressed by LG despite numerous reports on the web. Shame on LG for allowing a flaw to just continue each year in this model.

Sadly, I love the range, the oven (LSE4613ST slide in range), it is all beautiful... BUT it is an accident waiting to happen. It has been a little over a year since I purchased the range. About the same time last year I had friends staying in my place after their rental was sold out from under them. I stayed with a friend. One day I got a call from them telling me that they are not sure what happened, but one of the stoves burners turned on by itself. It was a mystery and hard to believe so we figured someone forgot to turn it off after using. The next time it happened a towel caught on fire, and we were thinking a Poltergeist (I teased her). One day by total accident they discovered that all they had to do was brush against any one of the burner knobs and the element would go on. I called LG but wasnt able to get any assistance from them. All they said was it is not a known issue and apologized for not being able to help. I called Home Depot where I purchased it. The lady was very helpful and gave me the number to the LG guy that does repair work for Home Depot LG products. The technician stated that the knobs coming on with the slightest touch was a known issue and he would like to do an upgrade. The upgrade was at no charge. He replace the entire heat knob assembly that was suppose to make the knobs have to be pushed in a ways before you could turn it. I was ecstatic! My friends finally found a home of their own and will be moving soon. My friends Aunt was over there helping her pack dishware and was using the stove top to do it because there was no place to sit. My friend said she smelled smoke and ran over just in time to see the burner had just come on and was starting to burn the newspaper. My friends Aunt does have a little bit of a tummy on her, so they figured she had pushed the knob in by accident. Obviously the upgrade did not fix it. I guess my friend and her husband had been scared to get too close to the stove, even after it was fixed, so that had prevented any more fires. Now I am going to have to get another stove or be reimbursed for this one. I doubt that will happen. But yes, I am surprised we havent heard of someone getting really hurt by this stove.

This washer and dryer were rated about as well as any, so it was kind of a tossup what to get. You are supposed to use TUB CLEAN cycle monthly or more often (This on a front loader that is supposed to SAVE water) and after every time you use the machine you are supposed to wipe around the 2 gaskets that stay wet. If you dont, and even if you do this creates odors, sometimes even if youre careful to wipe all around. Wiping the gaskets down requires getting on the floor and going into the tight crevices with a rag all around. Also, you are supposed to frequently empty the drain at bottom and clean out the filter. This also requires sitting/crouching on floor and the first few times I had water all over the floor and under washer. Very impractical. So far it hasnt had repairs (2 years old) but is noisier over time and thumps around a lot on spin cycle. Poor design all around.

Purchased a LG French Door Refrigerator less than 2 years ago. Started to notice freezer was not keeping things frozen. Call LG, do the diagnostic where you hold the phone up to the appliance (crazy and doubt it works). They agree to send a tech. Wait a week to get on the schedule. Tech from Mr. Appliance comes out and says compressor, coil and evaporator are bad. We need to turn it off and wait for parts. Parts take another 2 weeks. Tech was here today and replaced all three parts. It took him 3 hours. When he went to start it up, no go. Turns out the heater in the evaporator is bad and blew out the main board. So now both need to be replace. Spent an hour on the phone with LG. First level is outsourced overseas and customer service reps do not speak good English. They follow a script. Begged to talk to a supervisor. Waited 30 minutes for supervisor to take the call. Spoke to Neil and Willie and they did nothing. Told us they couldnt escalate higher. As long as they deem the appliance repairable we have to wait for the new parts to be delivered and then schedule another tech visit by Mr. Appliance. Absolutely NO customer service. They could care less that we have been without a refrigerator for over 3 weeks, 2 days from Thanksgiving. Its very disappointing to hear them say Life is Good and we dont want you to be inconvenienced while on hold. And then when you speak to someone, you get zero assistance or customer service. We will NEVER buy another LG product. We bought a lemon which I get sometimes happens. But the reason we wont buy from LG again is their complete lack of customer service. I have purchased an LG double door refrigerator about 2 years ago in 2010. Even not the full 2 years have passed, it has started giving cooling problem. Before two months ago I had made a complaint, though the technician has contacted me and visited my house within 48 hours. He said that it requires changing the gas pipe and refilling the gas and that could not be possibly done at home. The product will go to workshop of the company and after that, they have taken approximately a month just by saying the transport man is not there, so we are unable to meet your complaint. I have made calls for a hundred times to them. After it came from workshop, not even 25 days have passed, it has started giving the same problem. At this time when I had made a complaint, they are unable to say again if it is chargeable or not, no proper feedback. I am feeling like I have done a major mistake by purchasing an LG product.

Overall I was very satisfied with all of this for the most part and since our old fridge was very small it made life a bit easier. I would improve a tad more space though, and more shelving available for use or drawers. I feel I would have liked it even more if there had been more space or Storage available for the items needing to be in the fridge since we do buy large amounts of groceries at a time. When I decided to purchase this washer, I chose LG expecting to be dealing with one of the top corporations in electronics. What a disappointment! On trying to have it repaired - error message indicating the machine is not draining - I contacted you asking for a local authorized dealer. I was given the name of RISING SERVING SOLUTIONS whom I contacted and got an appointment for a WEEK LATER. So far, after 3 visits of their technician who changed the drain motor twice, the brain of the machine and having paid $390 for the repair, I continue to have the same exact problem. On my last conversation with the technician he alleged that the problem is with the drain hose/pipe.Although Im not knowledgeable on the subject this explanation makes no sense, since the machine drains water properly on the wash and rinse cycles, presenting the problem only on the spin going on to dry cycle. Calling twice and speaking to your supervisors at customer service led nowhere. What to do next?

Ive had this refrigerator (model LFC23760SW) French doors freezer on the bottom for about 4 years. I like the design of the fridge except for one reoccurring problem. I have had to replace the door gaskets 3 times in four years. Not only is this very annoying but it is costly. The issue is when the doors (left and right) come together to make a seal, the left door gasket pull away from the door and tears. This is the same issue over and over. Clearly this is a design flaw. I just recently (within 3 weeks) replaced the door gaskets and the door gasket on the left has already begin to pull away from the door. I know I cant be the only person having this issue and I was hoping the LG company has come up with a fix for this problem. Their reply to my inquiry was brief and simple, no fixes reported to customer care were available, have a nice day. I would highly suggest everyone stay away from this model and others like it. Purchased an LG gas dryer about 3 years ago to upgrade and be more energy efficient. My old dryer was 15 years old but worked just fine. Two days ago the LG dryer started to make a loud thumping sound. Upon further investigating I found a crack in the drum. I called the LG people and they said the drum has a 1 year warranty. My 15 year old dryer never had a crack. So needless to say I am not too happy about spending more money to repair their poorly made product. The person that I spoke with on the phone said that this was the first complaint about a cracked dryer drum. I think I must have been his first call ever because I can find plenty of complaints on the internet about this issue.

On Sat. Oct 18, 2014, my brother went into the LG fridge to get something, when he called out to get my attention. I thought it was smoke from oven. All attempt to locate fire in the oven was lean. I opened the kitchen window to air out the smoke. A few minutes later, my son goes to the same fridge in search of something and calls out with a more assured voice, dad I think the smoke is coming from the refrigerator. Upon getting back to the fridge, I opened the fridge part. It was smoke filled. The light was out. Toward the bottom of the fridge, I discovered that the egg carton on top of the cold buckets was on fire. It was still burning. The 18 count egg carton was totally top obliterated, plus a hole ate to the bottom. Bad deal.We recorded the whole experience and took a few pictures. I called LG and spoke to a rep who seemed to be empathetic. LG decided they would have a technician contact me, but non was available for the next two weeks. The rep told us that she would call me the next day after getting to work, at about 08:30, with a possible contact. She didnt. When my wife called them, she got nothing but the run around. Two days later, I spoke with a rep who was not getting to the bottom of the issue. Then I requested to talk to a manager. The manager patched the issue over to the Executive team, who made the decision after seeing the videos and pictures, that the fire was no fault of theirs. LG never sent a technician to look at my LG refrigerator. LG said people call and complain for different reasons. Thats subject to anyones interpretation. The long and short of the story is that cold refrigerators should never burn inside. It should smother out fire, not attract it.

Purchased front loading LG washer and dryer in Dec 2011. In Feb of 2015 (just over 3 years old), the tub seal around the door developed a hole and was leaking water all over the floor. I went online to discover this problem was chronic. Replaced Rubber tub door seal, but developed leak AGAIN just 10 mos later. Called LG, but they refused to do anything because out of warranty. I am unable to justify pouring any more money into what I believe to be defective product and have decided to simply buy a new washer. LG brand is unreliable and defective. Just go online and look at replacement of Rubber Boot Seal, AKA Rubber Bellows, AKA Tub Door Seal.

I bought LG gas oven -LD64313st and now all 5 knobs on front of appliance are melted probably from heat from upper oven. What kind of thought went into a design that places cheap plastic knobs over a heat source and expects them to remain intact. I read in a previous review that LG charges $55 for each CHEAPLY made and poorly designed Knob... Done with LG...I too will buy American from now on....

I like the freezer, fridge, multiple shelves, the shelves slide out to be cleaned and so do the drawers. There are four drawers including a cheese drawer specifically. I would put an ice maker in it. Also I would put a smart system into it to tell you when youve left the fridge open or tell you when its not working correctly and I would include freezer trays with purchase and water filter along with a digital thermostat. It has met expectations. I was very happy with value and price overall. This fridge is amazing and meets all my needs and or wants but if I had to choose one additional brand over LG itd be Samsung for sure.

After Redoing our house after Hurricane Sandy, I thought I would buy this Top of the line washer and dryer. The dryer is great, no complaints, however, the washing machine (Top-Load Direct Drive) does nothing but force dirty water through the clothes. Even with bleach, I could not get socks or floor washing pads at least clean looking. I despise this washing machine and will not buy another LG product especially from Home Depot. When I called about possibly getting service, they referred me to an Electronics company... Enough said. The electronics company wants to charge $80 to come Look at it. There is mechanically nothing wrong with the machine, it just doesnt work well and honestly, hasnt worked well since day one. This pushing water through the clothes is not effective at all. I would prefer a machine with an agitator but, those are hard to find. This machine is not that old and is not used all that much so, I have read reviews of the same situation and it is very clear not to buy this machine. I had read such great reviews for this machine but, am so disappointed because it has lead to nothing but additional costs for me to take at least some washes to the local laundromat on a regular basis. That is how ridiculous this has become. A fairly new (Bought in 8/2013) washing machine and I have to go to the laundromat to get my clothes clean. Buyer Beware on this product.

My two year and 10 month old LG French door refrigerator quit working last
My two year and 10 month old LG French door refrigerator quit working last Saturday, Aug. 10. I called LG Monday morning, and they referred me to their repair service, a company called ANE. After I called them, they finally sent out a repairman yesterday (Thursday), and he told me I had a bad circuit board and possibly a compressor. The parts would have to be ordered, and I probably would not have the unit working for another two weeks. The bill will be about $500. When I asked him how I was supposed to live without refrigeration for that long, he replied, Go rent one. That is indescribably bad customer service. To add insult to injury, it is quite apparent neither LG nor ANE could care less. LG Customer Service is an oxymoron. Please stay away from this company and Samsung as well (they also use ANE) until they establish a better service provider.

We just past the 5-year mark on our DLE3777W and got the diagnosis that the drum would need to be replaced. I asked why the weld would give out. The repairman said, The heat. The heat? Its a dryer! We should expect more out of the premium price we paid for this unit. We spent $360 for the repair fee and had a week without the dryer while were waiting for parts.

As others have stated, DO NOT purchase an LG machine! This is literally the worst appliance I have ever owned. The second worst would be the dryer. Clothes are literally shredded, never clean, frequently takes all day to do a load of clothes. LG customer service acts like you dont know how to do laundry. Ive been doing laundry for almost 30 years and never had a problem until their machines. I will never purchase another LG product in my lifetime. I would pay twice the price for any other brand. I have included pictures of what this machine did to my favorite quilt. The rust spots you see in the pictures were from the machine. They were not on the quilt before I put it in the washer. It literally just destroyed the quilt.

I did not have a problem with the sales department at Madison appliances. My problem is with my two year old LG slide-in stove. I bought it a few years ago for my new kitchen. Actually, I saved up my money to make this big purchase. Now, only two years later, it has quit working. I called LG. After thirty minutes on the phone, I realized I would need to call a local repairman for help with fixing my stove in Savannah, Georgia: LG provided me with a recommendation to call, but they did not service my area. Now, $360 later, my two year old stove will be getting fixed by a reputable appliance repair company in my area. I will never buy LG again.I have now purchased a refrigerator and a stove within the last four years total. I have had to replace my ice maker on my refrigerator to the tune of $200 that appears to be rusting on the stainless steel (that has not been treated improperly in any way) and now I am replacing the board on the back of my stove to the tune of $360. BEWARE - I strongly urge everyone to NOT buy LG.
