I have had to stop using my LG microwave (LMV168OST) as the plastic frame around the door glass and handle has fallen apart. I already replaced it with a new one a couple years ago and the same issue happened again with the replaced one. This seems like a safety hazard and I am sure other users have had this happen. Poor design of the door and frame...

LG is making it very difficult for me to get anything done. My top loader has rust all around the bleach cup and the underside or seam where top meets the bottom panels. I see other people have this issue too!! I have never in all my life seen a washing machine get rust like this. Not to mention there was a recall on it with a Do Not Sell order attached that I was never informed about. I feel they should either take the machine back and replace or refund our money!!! I am waiting on a response after sending pictures and a proof of purchase to them via email. I registered the machine when I bought it, so they would have my info, yet I still have to prove to them I bought it!!! Go figure???!!!

On 9/15/16 a repairman came out to check my refrigerator and told me it was my compressor. Was gone to put the order in. (9/16/16)... Short story long process. On 9/29/16 repairman stated part was ship... Never heard from repairman. I call LG. Keep you on hold for 10-15 mins. Then they tell me my claim is being review. It will take 5-7 days. It was submitted on the 28th. But the repairman said it was ship on the 29th. Whos lying or they working together. 10/7/16... Call today. Check on the status of my claim. Waiting on the other 15mins. Came back on the phone to tell me they reject my review because they ship the compressor. I ask him if know they ship my compressor why was it in review. He said he didnt know. As of today still no compressor and we living out of a lil small office refrigerator and a cooler for ice. Something gotta been done with LG. With all these complaints somebody help us!!!

This expensive refrigerator (MODEL LFX25778ST) was one of the worst purchases ever! The ice maker - only makes about 20 ice cubes on a good day. The ice maker itself breaks after 2 years and then it costs a fortune to fix. May as well buy another fridge. The Customer Service from LG was even worse than the product itself. Truly a horrible experience. I would caution anyone from buying LG. I have had to make several large purchases since this fridge and vowed to never buy LG again. I will never and will encourage anyone I know and influence to not buy LG. Not normally this type of person but when the consumer is being taken advantage of by such a big corporation its time to stop supporting that corporation.

We bought an LG LFXS29766 in a new home build in October, 2017. Two days ago we came home to water on the floor, the cold box with a temperature of 55F and all the frozen foods half thawed. The repair technician told us today that it is a compressor failure and now I see that we are far from the only one. In fact, a Google search starts with a Class Action Suit against LG for just this problem. We lost all the food in our refrigerator & freezer and it will be weeks before it can be repaired. We paid thousands of dollars for this refrigerator and how are we going to keep food cold for the next weeks? I never would have bought an LG if I had known that this was a known problem.

(Re: LG Tromm WM1841CW) I moved in with my GF, leaving my old cheap top load behind for the new tenant and thinking hey, why not, the GF has an expensive LG; more expensive, a lot more expensive, so it must be better, right? Wrong! On top of the musty odors, I swear I am gaining rather than losing stains on my clothing. These look like grease stains. Certain materials seem more prone, such as cottons, especially softer cottons. LG suggests all this ** about cleaning the door seal, door, and tub at minimum daily. What a load of **! What, the consumer has to fix LGs bad design problems? And this thing cost more than a thousand. My 50-dollar secondhand washer never had these problems and got things clean. Save your money and you mind and buy yourself a good ol’ cheap top loader. Going forward, I will hand fill (over fill) the tub with super-hot water and pout in a couple cups of bleach and let it wash for a few minutes before letting it sit for a few hours. As for the laundry, I will see about over filling it with water to get the wash actually clean.

I have an LG gas dryer, model# DLG2102W, and it leaks gas dangerously in the middle of a cycle. The gas initial comes on and ignites as it should. I recorded and tested this. At first, on a cool machine, the gas valves opens without igniter, causing it let out a lot of gas. This happened after the first 10 minutes. I turned it off, while the machine was already warmed up, I ran a new dry cycle. The gas ignited as it should, but then when it turned off after it reached a certain temperature, the gas valve opened up after a few minutes without the igniter coming on to light the gas. Instead it just spewed a ton of gas out. This is very bad. I reached out to LG and no response yet. Ill be posting the video on youtube. Heres a guy that had the same problem. **

Have a LG Dishwasher Model LDS4821ST. After purchasing this and about 2-3 months later notice a bad odor. A few days after cleaning dishes it smelled like something died in the unit but the smell was inside. After putting off calling LG I could not stand the smell any more so I emailed them. They e-mailed me back with recommendations such as Check your disposal for odors and try putting in vinegar and run a cycle with no dishes. Did not help the odor still there.A few days later this was still barely in warranty. I emailed again and they gave me a claim number and a repair service to call, the service guy said You still have to pay and that claim number is a conversation number not for me to charge LG. Repairs that would cost $300 and replace a part is up to me and you will not have the odor again. Yeah right I think it a bad design on the draining system that bacteria starts to develop. They do not stand behind their products. I even stated in second email that if the service guy says its my fault I would pay for the call. At this point I am probably going to buy a different brand. My KitchenAid lasted for 12 years with no issues.

We purchased an LG refrigerator 2 and a half years ago. It has stopped working. The refrigerator is not cold and the freezer does not freeze. LG has cancelled or failed to show up for 2 scheduled visits. We have now been without a refrigerator for over 20 days. LG representatives are now saying it will take them 7 to 10 days to review our documentation (receipt of purchase). We have called customer support at least 6 times and they lack integrity and empathy. How would one of them feel if they were in our shoes for 20 plus days?

LG Washing Machine model WT1101C - After 2 years of normal use this machine failed. It was sold as heavy duty. Under normal use the drive shaft broke off inside unit. Called customer service and was advised to call service tech in our area, he never returned call. Under the LGs useless warranty they stated we would have to pay for service call. Filed complaint with BBB and went no where. Also, supplied pics of receipt and broken part. They offered a possible courtesy visit from tech and would not supply replacement part or refund. Guess they will go out of business if they had to honor their warranty for all the POSs they are unloading on the consumers. No customer service or ethics to this company. No stars for this company. Will never buy LG brands again!!!

Our LG washing machine exploded and imploded in less than three years. The outside walls of the machine are bent out and the inside components fell to the bottom of the machine. The machine moved 1-2 feet away from the wall and could have hurt our dog and gone through the opposite wall if we were not home. We are on our third case type number to track this situation. The number does not work to upload the sales slip for the third time in their system.Today was my fifth call to LG and I was on hold for 14 minutes to try to resolve the systems issue and have finally given up. LG made us have a service call to have the situation assessed and did not pay for the service. LG was told that there was no way the machine could be fixed and wed sent pictures to prevent the service call. The service person called LG and told them that hes never seen such damage to an LG machine. We are now determining the best approach to resolve this issue particularly with the safety concern. We are also getting rid of LG dryer due to our concerns.

Our French door model LG refrigerator failed just 10 days prior to the 5-year warranty period. The first indication was it would not make ice. This is caused by the freezer unit unable to maintain a freezing temperature. Service support wasnt available for 8 days. The service rep was not prepared to address a leak in the freon system. A second call was scheduled for a week later. The same rep came with another repair rep who said the sealed unit needed to be replaced. After replacement and adding freon, the unit worked for three weeks before failing again. The leak was obviously not repaired. I wont allow another LG repair rep into my home. I will instead go out to purchase another (non-LG) unit now. Do not purchase any LG products. No qualified repair service exists and the products have poor quality control and even worse design.

The ice maker/water dispenser has never worked properly. It was replaced during the warranty stage. Now theres a crack in it where the water fills up before going into the trays inside. Water is constantly leaking out the dispenser. The ice maker freezes up and to get it out to unclog it, you have to yank really hard since its frozen in place by the water that leaks out. The door is being ruined due to the constant water leak. Also, the plastic veggie/meat drawers are both cracked. Really thin edges on them. Just yesterday, the plastic cover on the edge of the shelf came off and wont stay on anymore.

I wish I could describe my experience, but there are no words for the dishonestly, incompetence, run-around, LYING, lack of responsibility, unprofessional, and just plain unethical, horrific conduct this company has shown me in spades and spades and spades. I purchased a very expensive LG Space Saver, side-by-side refrigerator/freezer about 16 months ago. Surprise - surprise, the compressor went out. The labor was not under warranty, but the part apparently was. Well, that would require even a semblance of customer service or honestly or even a mild attempt to care about a customer or fix a product. What I got was a vague reference to maybe having someone CALL ME in 2-3 weeks to MAYBE get out there and maybe fix the compressor. First, I was put through a bunch of dumb tests and waiting -- because yeah, a refrigerator SQUEALING, thawing out, and dripping ice down the door could be caused by leaving the door open for 5 minutes. NOT. And I didnt. Still, it took me a while -- playing LGs games -- to realize that nobody has any responsibility or integrity. That they lie as quickly and effortlessly as some folks breathe, and that every single person you talk to will give you a different answer or solution -- absolute no one will mean what they say or follow through. And they could care less how much of your time, effort, or money they cost you (I lost $800 worth of food; spent over 7 hours on the phone, talking to over 12 different people, many not even in the USA, being promised things that never happened -- only to be shuffled to someone else; being referred to their own repair companies THAT DID NOT EXIST! (Literally, I called all three of the companies myself because I couldnt wait 2-3 weeks for maybe. One, the guy was out for the next month or so because of surgery -- yeah, glad I didnt wait 2-3 weeks on him; one, they said they stopped working with LG years ago and wished theyd quit telling people otherwise; and the last one - phone disconnected). Yet, I could not get anyone at LG to understand why I wasnt willing to wait 2-3 weeks for someone at one of these 3 companies to call me!!!In the send you to ten different people, all of who will lie to you game (oh, and prepare to sit on hold for 30 minutes or more at a time, just to be rerouted to someone and start all over... again... and again...), I was told they had a repairman in the area and were sending him to my house now. Please hold. Please hold. Please hold. only to waste another hour and be told I needed to wait on one of the three companies. This went on for 3-4 days!!! Meanwhile, I tried to call an independent repairman -- my family actually needs to eat -- and what I heard from professional after professional after professional was a NIGHTMARE. No one would work with LG. LG does not pay their claims. LG compressors break all the time. Dealing with LG is a virtual nightmare. Etc! I finally found a company with a certified LG repairman (He used to WORK FOR LG) who said he would work on the warrantied part and seek payment for it from LG. (LG had already given me a useless approval # which I could use with one of those three companies. Are we really back to calling the unicorns and Santa Claus again -- newsflash, idiots! They dont exist!) Anyhow, after another day of dealing with a bunch of representatives not in the USA, I got a hold of someone who walked me through a ton of steps in order to send a pre-approved service authorization to the company I FOUND -- it would be in the companys email box in 24-48 hours. Guess what? Surprise - surprise. There was no email authorization; they never sent anything; they never called me back; and I guess they just lied at the time.So I finally paid to have the private company come out and check the refrigerator -- bad compressor. Of course, read the reviews -- everyone is saying this, so LG must know it! Well the company tried to get a hold of LG to schedule a date to fix the compressor -- they had my approval # and told LG I had been given authorization to use them and the authorization was supposed to be in their email box a week ago (oh, and they made me call the company and get a bunch of information, including this email address for this authorization email that never existed. Maybe they do this ** for fun??? Anyhow, the company Id hired could never get hold of anyone at LG -- no surprise there -- so finally went through their world-class (world being literal - class being a JOKE) customer service, only to be told that there would be no authorization because *I* the customer had an appointment scheduled for next week with one of those three original companies. ARE - YOU - KIDDING - ME!?! No one ever called me or scheduled any appointment, and as we all know -- those 3 companies were bogus to begin with. What the ** kind of operation is LG running. This is beyond PATHETIC. Its fraudulent. Moronic. Inexcusable. Sad thing is: I WILL NEVER EVER BUY ANY LG PRODUCT AGAIN, no matter how large or small, and Ive already told everyone I know to AVOID THE REFRIGERATORS LIKE THE PLAGUE. Good going, LG.RUN - DONT WALK - AWAY FROM ANY LG REFRIGERATOR/FREEZER. Or at least call half a dozen appliance repair companies and ask what they have to say about this product -- youll get a surprising earful. LG has no customer service, and they couldnt give two ** if their customers ever get anything fixed, let alone in a timely fashion. If you have 20 - 30 - 40 hours to be given the runaround, to sit on hold, to be lied to and shuffled, to speak to folks all over the world who will each tell you a new and ever-more inventive lie, then by all means, buy this refrigerator. But if you think any part of it will ever break, then youre on your own. LG should be ASHAMED. And I hope theres a class-action lawsuit at some point because they need to be exposed.

After reading many customer reviews I have to chime in. We bought an LG refrigerator 10 months ago. The compressor went out had to wait two weeks for the technician to come out to tell me the compressor was out. I told them when I called, when the technician comes out have him bring a new compressor. No they have to diagnose the problem first. All you have to do is read every review out there and you will know the compressor is the problem. Which brings me to today, yesterday the technician from A&E came out to put in the compressor that was sent to my house. We went to my grandsons birthday party only to come home and find my refrigerator warmer on the inside than I was on the outside. Living without a refrigerator is a nightmare, and then not knowing if it will work after the repair is even worse. So here we sit with a large paper weight in our kitchen!!! They continued to send out defective compressors. I am now waiting another week for the repair technician to come back out to diagnose a defective compressor.Too many people are suffering because of their incompetence. We cannot let the consumers in the United States continue to be treated this way by LG. Thanks to all the people who have written their complaints online.

We purchased our LG Electric Range November 2011. The oven was in need of cleaning, so I started the self-cleaning feature as I have done 2 or 3 times previously. The door locked and the cleaning began. When it was done, even after cooling off. The door is still locked shut and the whole control panel is blacked out, rendering the stove top useless as well. There is absolutely nothing working. We checked the breaker and all connections. Everything is in order. So we called our local repair company and they told us that they have had multiple calls about this same issue. My husband called LG and spoke with a couple of people there including a manager. The first person told us that the self-cleaning feature should be used every couple of months to keep it working properly. We told her that it doesnt say that anywhere in the manual. Basically they said, Sorry we cant help you. This is an engineering defect. And should be taken care of by LG. The lady from our repair company said that on some of the ranges, the cook top has cracked because of the heat. We are very disappointed in this company. And will never buy LG products again.

A technician came out and identified the problem as the compressor. Two weeks later it has not been repaired. The first time the parts were not in. No one call to let us know that no one would show up so we sat for 2 hours waiting for the technician. The second time someone called and cancelled. I am waiting for a third appointment. They have a food replacement form that the technician is supposed to give you once the repair is complete. He said it likely a manufacturers defect but he cant say 100% which means that LG keeps their fee. In the meantime, Ive written two letters to LG (where it says they will reply within 24 hours) and gotten no response, spoken with two customer service managers who show no concern for the fact their appliance put my family in danger, and spent way too much time on hold on the telephone and online chat with very little to show for it. I had purchased a Sears Kenmore Fridge model #795.74023.411 in August 2015. Sears had recently gone out of business here in Canada. This fridge had cost almost $3000.00 and was manufactured by LG. I had contacted LG who suggested a LG certified service person. Service person attended and I was told that the compressor was broken and that the cost to fix this fridge was $900.00. I had called LG several times and they keep telling me the same thing. We are not covering this part under warranty because this is the agreement we had with Sears. I had also tried escalating this within LG and each person I talk to theres no point of escalating it further because theyre going to tell you the same thing. I asked LG if its normal for a $3000 fridge to only last 2 1/2 years and they stated it must be defective. Yet LG manufactured this defective fridge and they keep using the demise of Sears as an excuse to not cover this. I feel that the customer service and policies at LG are pathetic. I have now been without a fridge for almost 6 weeks as I cannot afford to pay $900 to fix this, nor do I feel I should have to. LGs customer service is pathetic and their products are garbage. Stay clear of LG.

Wow! Before I bought the LG Model WT5101HW in Aug. 2010, I could not find bad reviews on this washing machine. I wish Id investigated further. It is just as noted in other reviews; not enough water in most cycles, not energy efficient (1:09 hr. cycle will take up to 1:55 hr.), water levels will sometimes leave clothes dry and still dirty. Machine has been recalled and fixed by service representative (which took three trips), constantly going UE and adding water, etc. There is no way to shorten a cycle except rinse and spin or spin only. I found the only thing that works reasonably well for cleaning is the Bulky/Bedding cycle. This seems to load the water based on level rather than the weight method. But it always fills it full, so I make sure the loads warrant the extra water used. I am considering biting the bullet on a different washing machine when the extended warranty expires in about ten months. I will NEVER purchase another LG product. Worst customer service Ive ever experienced.

It however took a month to resolve this because of LGs delays and I was a month without a fridge. In the summer very frustrating. It is now resolved and I have a new fridge (not an LG). I would not recommend LG for anyone.

Purchased a very expensive LG washing machine. The leak had been ongoing for a couple of years and was caused by a very cheap neoprene gasket (20p to replace) behind the soap draw, this in turn leaked onto the main PCB at the bottom front left of the machine causing this board to fail with a loud bang. The reason why I am not going to buy an LG appliance again is two fold. Very well made appliance (mostly) yet a small cheap component failed after just 2 years which then lead to a major component failure with no real noticeable warning. Replacement parts are as expensive as a new cheaper machine. Customer services is diabolical I had to email the UK CEO just to get customer services to call me back and yes of course the problem was denied (despite many other cases on the internet) as a known fault. Conclusion buy 3 cheaper machines for the price of 1 LG......... SIMPLES. This is known by LG customer services yet they choose to deny its a known problem.

Model# LMX25964ST100, Serial# 008KRUC00694. I cannot get a repair technician or any replacement through manufacturer warranty. I bought it in 11-20-2010 and the freezer or ice make dont work but it runs constantly. So I have unplugged it after 6 days of straight running because I was afraid it would get too hot and catch on fire. Can someone tell me what I have to do to get it back since it has not been fixed and run so much? It is a Double-Door LG refrigerator and I have talked to LG customer service for a whole week and still cant get nothing done. I even contacted Home Depot where I bought it and an extended warranty, but they can do nothing because it is still under manufacturer warranty. Needless to say, I probably will never buy another LG product but I would like mine replaced or refunded for it!

We purchased this refrigerator Dec. 15, 2014 its not a year old and still under the factory warranty. This is the second time that we have had this problem with the refrigerator not getting cold. May 2015 was the first time someone came out and adjusted the temperature, the same problem happen again around September 11, 2015 where it wasnt cooling or making ice. The day I got out of the hospital, I come home and everything in my freezer had thawed out and spoil. I began calling immediately but no one seems to put themselves in our shoes. We have been without a refrigerator since September 18th, 2015. Someone from Jebco in Saraland, AL. came out on September 23, 2015 said that he had to order a part and for us to unplug our refrigerator until he return on Monday September 28, 2015. Well Monday came, his clerk called to say that he would not be able to come on that day. I was so upset that I hung up on her, but later called back to apologize, later that day she called LG to inform them that she did not think I was satisfied with them QUOTE: Im not satisfied with anyone because everyone has a refrigerator and we dont. We are having to keep water in a cooler and having to go out to food because we cant put anything in the fridge. All we are asking is for them to give us another refrigerator, nobody seems to be able to accommodate for our loss. We are still paying for a broke down refrigerator, its notfair. I thought customers were always right and came first, well it seems that is not a true statement, because if it were true they should make sure that the customers are happy and satisfied to every extent.I am so dissatisfied with HHGregg and LG, I am letting everyone know not to deal with either one of them because they dont stand by their word of satisfying their customers. Is there anyone that can help me please come forward to give me some advices? We have spoken to so many peoples and nobody doing anything.

LG Dishwasher Model LDF7932ST, leaking door seal several months after buying the dishwasher. The bottom rack caught on the thin metal that houses the door seal molding it bending it. I bent it back but it keeps happening. This is such a poor design. After it got bent back and forth so many times, my dishwasher is now unusable. I have a $900 piece of scrap and that is being kind the thin metal that houses the door seal that is welded in crap. We have been unable to purchase the replacement parts. We have to keep putting towels under the dishwasher to wash dishes. This is ridiculous to have such an expensive dishwasher that turned to crap so quickly. If anyone can be of any help, please write.

You know I expected that LG would be a good company and that if should something happen to my recently purchased LG fridge, that they would provide good service to me. How wrong I was. LG really let me down with not just their product - this new expensive fridge that broke that just after 1 year, but especially with their service. I asked if they could provide a service technician and the only one in my area wont repair the coolant system. So they purposely have the only technician in the Greater Vancouver area not do coolant systems. This seems designed to frustrate customers. They then said they could get another technician a week later who would cost $500 for labor (5 times the other service rate). In the end, I decided to scrap my fairly new fridge and get a KitchenAid fridge because its a better quality product and KitchenAid does right by its customers. LG is a really terrible company and I would recommend staying away from their products if you dont want to go through service hell.

Refrigerator started making horrible noise on July 3, 2016. Model LMX25964 purchased Nov. 22, 2010. Woke up July 4 no ice and all freezer contents thawing out. Could not call for any help until Tuesday July 5, technician came out on July 7 to tell me my French doors refrigerator had a seal system problem was under warranty and he was not an LG-certified technician. By the way while checking out the refrigerator he did tell me the LG is one of the worst refrigerators, all plastic and lots of mechanical problems, that is why he would not become an authorized LG technician.Called LG, got someone I could not even understand, finally got a certified technician phone number called and he comes tomorrow, he will probably need to order parts so thats more to time. Customer service stinks as well as the refrigerator. I will never ever buy an LG item again. I did lose all my food, around 250.00 and the company acted like I was out of my mind for asking. The supervisor said our warranty ran out after 12 months. I advised her that the problem that caused my problem was under warranty and she flat out said, We do not reimburse. I hate them.

I am writing this letter because my mom who lives with a terminal illness has been without a fridge for nine days. Neither the fridge nor freezer works. This isnt the first time. She went without a fridge for a week before this a month ago. She recently purchased this fridge in October of 2012. We were told to go buy or ask a neighbor for a cooler to put our food in. We live in a very small town, and it is difficult to eat out all the time. We have been losing out hundreds of dollars with the food going spoiled. In addition, I am working all day, and my mom is without food. The first guy who came to fix the fridge brought a hair dryer. The second guy said he only ordered the part for the freezer and not the fridge even though we told him that neither worked. When my mom called the appliance company to see how soon the part was coming in and asked if she could get the part number, the manager said he did not have to tell her that and spoke very rudely. Then when she asked when the technician was coming out, the manager told her the technician would be in court all day. My mom isnt able to speak well as her muscles are going out. She also noticed a scratch on her fridge that was done by the technicians. The appliance company said they had nothing to do with that as did LG when we called. Therefore, I called and spoke with the supervisor and filed a formal complaint hoping someone will hear our frustrations. The supervisor was helpful and did as much as he could, which was to see when the part would come in. However, the manager of the appliance company said he was on the road and couldnt give the information right there and then. That is understandable, but I dont understand why it is taking so long to get a part in. Can the part not be delivered in 1 or 2 business days? We paid over $1200 for this fridge. I dont understand the customer service. The appliance company has been rude and LG has not been able to do much. I understand there is a process for everything, but this has become too much. What are we to do? My mom is stressed with having a terminal illness and her husband passing away recently. Can you please fix this situation? I have sent this through the post office with urgency hoping that you can address the situation.

I purchased double stacked LG washer/dryer in January 2010. In February 2012, the washer motor broke and LG placed it. In December 2012, the motor broke again! I called LG and they said I would have to pay for a technician to look at the washer. Ive had this washer for 2 years and the motor broke down two times. I have to pay to get the washer fixed! My previous Westinghouse washer-dryer I had for over 15 years and not one service call, not one problem in all 15 years. Im so mad at LG and Im insisting that they replace the washer. Not sure if you can offer any advice, but I really want to get a lawyer and go after LG. Thanks for your time.

We moved into a new house 5/2015, and as a present to ourselves, bought a brand new stackable LG washer and dryer that had been highly recommended in Consumer Reports. We bought LG 4.3 CF WM3370HWA and LG 7.4 CF DLEX3370W from Lowes in Everett, WA. This is a front loader washer. From day ONE this washer would not get clothes clean. It does not matter if you use the recommended detergent (my previous ten-year-old Kenmore used whatever you wanted to put in it, and got things sparkling clean), doesnt matter if you add bleach. It wont do a small load, and we are a retired couple so we dont have huge loads! It also wont wash a load of sheets - it balls them into tiny balls. If you try to wash a mixed load with a couple towels, you repeatedly get the UE (uneven load error). I constantly am standing on my head rearranging a sopping wet heavy bunch of clothing. I NEVER had this before with my top loader Kenmore! It also does not add the detergent in the first part of the wash - it doesnt add it til like 35 minutes into the wash. God help you if you add bleach, everything comes out smelling like none of the bleach is washed out. It makes a very loud chunking noise while filling, also. When you wash socks (and mind you, we are clean people who do not have pets, so its not like our floors make filthy socks)...the socks come out looking like they have not been washed at all - the knit on the bottoms are still depressed from walking...and the socks are not fluffed up at all!We called Lowes, and they said you have to call LG. So we called LG and they sent out a repair person. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. First words out of the guys mouth when he got there - I have twelve visits today and I cant stay past 30 minutes... Then he went over to the washer, pushed buttons on it a couple times, pronounced it fine, and started to leave. When we stopped him to ask questions, he got very defensive. We told him Its NOT fine, it wont clean the clothes! He said Well, it cleans them, just obviously not good enough for YOU. I showed him the dirt on the socks and he said Well, add more water! So I said Can you please at least stay through a cycle so you can see that it is NOT doing what it is supposed to do? He refused. After he left, we tried pushing the add more water button (which means none of the preset wash choices work...you have to do manual wash selection every time) and it still did not get the clothes clean. Also, yes, there is tons of crap that accumulates in the virtually uncleanable rubber gasket, and yes, we leave the door open 24/7. So far no smell, but I think that is because I use bleach so much and leave the door totally open. Now for the dryer. IT WONT DRY CLOTHES unless you put it on timed dry and high heat! And still, it balls everything into a ball! Our previous Kenmore never did this! And it also has one of those rubber gaskets on the door that fills with lint and you cant clean it out! We paid $2,089 for this piece of crap set and that is a lot of money for a retired couple on social security and a small retirement. I think I hate the LG people for selling an inferior product and not blinking an eye about it. I only wish I had seen this page of complaints BEFORE we bought this. PLEASE DONT BUY ANYTHING THAT USES SENSOR! Sensor does not work. Please dont buy a front loader LG. THEY DONT WORK. And when we called back LG and asked for a different repair person, they told us there was no one else...it was him or no one. Have a nice day. Click.

Machine purchased at Home Depot in 2011. Year 3 rust appeared where around the bleach dispenser. If you get the one year service plan be careful as when your machine hits 5 years, no more service! Do not buy! Stick with Kenmore!!! If I could travel all 50 states and warn people about this crappy machine I would... Horrible customer service. They also do not come out to repair right away, you have to do various checks on the washer for them to actually come out. They want to know whats wrong or what did you do? What was wrong was I tried to wash a load of laundry and the machine did not work! I will never again buy LG!

We purchased an LG front loading washer a couple of years ago. During that time, we had 4 major repairs: 2 under warranty and 1 under extended warranty. Last week (4th problem), a repairman recommended to not waste our money to fix the bearings because the next problem will be the control electrical panel - $200 parts, $75.00 labor and need to wait 2 weeks for the parts. We decided to cut our losses and buy new. Never would we ever buy an LG product again! We ended up buying a Speed Queen washer - no electronic circuit board, just plain dial type like the way they used to make it. The average lifespan of an LG washer is 5 years.

We purchased a brand new LG stove/oven in 2014. The control panel started giving us issues about a month ago (27 January 2016). We reported the issue to LG customer service and they offered an extended warranty for about $275.00. We purchased it and their repair representative arrived at our home. He verified that this was an LG product by model and serial number, and confirmed that the stove/oven was produced in 2013. He then said that he didnt have the required parts to perform the repair, and that LG no longer makes the parts. Since then, LG wont fix their own product because we dont have the initial purchase receipt. We have been arguing with so called LG executive services ever since. Ultimately, this is an LG product, LG took our money for the extended warranty, and they are incapable of fixing their own product. Is this fraud?

I bought this model (LSXS26326S) back in 2015, yes this come with 1 year warranty. June 2017, with no clue its just stop being refrigerator, ice not produce, not cool only one thing works is lighting. Called customer service right away, they question me if I have warranty? Yes 1 year warranty. If this case happens 10-20 years later it means this refrigerator already do their jobs, but only 2 years? Dont you think it something wrong might happen with their production? Its not like you bought a car, which is depending on how fast you drive, how aggressive you drive, care taking. But refrigerator what I only do is put food into refrigerator thats it. This refrigerator cost 1.5 k not some hundred dollar. I made a decision to purchase LG brands because I think that I could TRUST them. LG team gave me time to fix this on July 29th which is I could not accept this. I would like to get a same new working refrigerator or higher immediately or full refund so I can buy a refrigerator to keep my food cold and because I feel like I pay too much for this refrigerator that only working for 2 years. I am going to sell it to the highest bidder on a Swip Swap page and hope they have better luck with it. Worst machine EVER! Seriously. It shakes so hard I am surprised there isnt a hole in the wall. I bought this LG Gas Slide In Stove Model LSG4511ST from Home Depot online on Feb 17, 2018. Within a few weeks of barely using it all five burners on the stainless steel stove top were corroding with rust. We just spent a ton of money remodeling our kitchen and were excited to get our first and new Slide in Gas Stove. Well the nightmare began. We contacted Home Depot and they referred us to LG. Home Depot wouldn’t speak to us. We paid $1300 for the stove. After many calls, chats and emails to LG customer service and their executive office they replaced the entire SS stove top and all five burners after SIX months of hell with them. They didn’t show up, excuses, no response to emails, no call backs - HORRIBLE company. Then within a short time after they replaced parts it started corroding AGAIN around ALL FIVE burners. The calls, chats, emails to LG started again and this time they don’t respond at all. I tried Home Depot also and they will not take any responsibility. Nothing! I am sitting here with a defective ugly stove in the middle of our brand new kitchen. I am now forced to sue them. I filed a complain the US Bureau of Consumer Goods a month ago, was assigned a complaint number and “investigator” name and email and they don’t respond either. I have tons of documentation of this nightmare and photos. The icing on the cake is I wrote a review for the stove on www.homedepot.com and they “rejected” it. They didn’t want the public to know the truth about a product they sell!

Purchased the LG 5 element double oven slide-in range in late June, 2019 along with an LG dishwasher. In September, while using multiple elements, the range must have overheated because it shut off and flashed an error notice that I had to dig deep on the web/blogs to figure out what it was...Best I could come up with was motherboard failure. I cut power from the circuit and the next day and since, no problem with the error. THAT is not the issue right now. Lets start with the cooktop. I am OCD with cleaning the top. It even gets a wipe down when it hasnt been used. There are white marks on 3/5 of the elements. The previous range, which was 15 plus years old did not have these marks and that cooktop took a beating.I get things that are used cannot look showroom new, but 8 months of not daily use and it looks older than the previous range...which is very frustrating. Now lets move to the ovens. This model has the bright blue enamel interior. The easy clean function does NOTHING at all. Spills and drips happen and the easy clean was one of the reasons I selected the LG model. Ok, so I just gently wiped the minor spills and drips with a wet rag when the oven cooled and would do the self clean as needed. I wipe the glass on the oven doors regularly and honestly have no clue how there are drips in between the glass on both top and bottom. You cant see it unless the door is open or the light is on but they are there and shouldnt be unless there is a problem with the door/glass seals..NOW, today I ran the self clean cycle for the first time since purchasing this unit. I am absolutely livid!! The cycle ran for four hours and then it took some more time to cool so I could wipe the accumulated ash from all of the cleaned spatter and drips that I couldnt wipe out. Both top and bottom ovens look ruined. The grime just cooked into the finish! While wiping with the damp towel, it was shiny and looked clean. As it dried, it looked like bacon cooled bacon grease. I wiped again with another towel and dried with a microfiber cloth...still there and will NOT go back to the shiny finish and seriously looks like coagulated bacon grease. This range was not cheap but is manufactured extremely cheaply. I am sick to my stomach with my decision to buy this unit as opposed to one that was more readily available. The dishwasher I have no problem with so far but this range is absolute JUNK! I looked at many reviews prior to purchase but I wish I had looked at this site before purchasing this unit because this would have tipped me into the cons...dont buy column. Do not purchase an LG range!

I bought the LG set about 11 months ago. For the first month it operated like a dream. Then it started leaving residue on my dark clothes...looks like streaks of lint or undissolved detergent. I have changed detergents, added less or more, used large loads and small ones, and nothing helps. I have to wash the load a second and sometimes third time without detergent to get it clean. Another problem is that if I wash anything with my darks that is even slightly lighter than black or brown, the dark dye is transferred to the clothes and ruins them. I have done the same thing for years with other machines without problems, but this one for some reason causes the dyes to transfer. I think both problems are caused by too little water being used. Have finally lost patience and will start the never ending cycle of service calls, I guess. I dont recommend this product. It does NOT save water.

Purchased 02/2020. 1st failures occurred within 30 days. Icemaker and compressor replaced by LG tech. Worked fine until 11/21 when we found unit dead. Unplugged to check outlet. Outlet okay, plugged back in and heard a ZAP and smelled smoke. Contacted LG support and they assigned ticket and said a local company would repair. Contacted local company and they said they had refused the request from LG because LG doesnt pay them. Contacted LG again and they started a new repair ticket. I think they keep changing the ticket numbers so it appears they dont take too long to react. So far they have assigned a total of 10 repair tickets/customer service numbers. LG eventually sent an LG tech on 12/8. They had also shipped 3 different parts directly to me, but only 2 had arrived before tech showed up. He said the missing one was the needed control board and I should text him when it arrived. It arrived on 12/14 and I texted the tech. He said he no longer worked for LG and I would have to start over again. Still waiting on LG support to locate someone willing to perform the warranty repair. 3+weeks without a working refrigerator is ridiculous! I will never purchase any LG products in the future. They obviously dont care about their customers.

I feel that the product is inferior and people should not purchase LG appliances if they are prematurely going bad on major components. I have the 4 French door model LMXS30776S I bought it Nov. 2014... It was delivered late Jan 2015. This Jan 2017 it stopped cooling... Home Depot sent a repair man (I bought 5 year extended warranty). He said the compressor went bad and LG had to repair... Since then. LG repair person has the first call replaced the compressor... Still didnt work. The second visit fixed a leak and installed a new PCB board. That was on 2-17-17. Guess what 3 days later still not fixed... This is the worst product I ever purchased and at almost $3000 dollars. It will be the last LG I will ever buy.

It wasnt anywhere near the dispenser. That said, your product is not fit for purpose then, its washing machine it has washing powder in it!. Now we are told it is poor maintenance on our part and not under warranty. Quality brand? I dont think so. Your attitude to customer complaints is to first blame it on the customer. $3,000 5-yr.-old top of the line LG refrigerator still not fixed after 5 weeks! Horrible customer service! LG has not been able to repair it in 5 weeks with 6 visits from repairman. BTW: ONLY PARTS are covered by LG warranty, not labor. If your LG fridge breaks the day after you buy it, YOU pay for labor, and each call involves a minimum of two visits by repairman - one to look at it so he can order parts (they keep nothing in stock) and at least one return to try to fix it.The repairman suggested on his FIRST visit that we BUY A NEW REFRIGERATOR, before he even ordered the new compressor. They do not want to honor warranty. They want you to give up and buy a new appliance! He actually said refrigerators do not last more than 5 years! My son in law has spent hours on the phone (mostly on hold) trying to arrange repairs, been transferred to departments that are closed, been told to call back tomorrow (when departments are closed), and been told that the earliest available repair appointment was 4 weeks away! He has been hung up on. He has been told that they cannot access his records and that the only department that can access his records is not open today (Friday). The repairman suggested more than once that we buy a new refrigerator instead of requiring LG to honor their warranty. Who spends $3,000 on a fridge they expect to last only 5 years?

For a long time we had a Maytag dryer and loved it but when it finally died we decided to get an LG dryer to match our LG washer which we have had no issues with. We purchased the dryer from Home Depot and since it was brand new it has melted MANY items, mostly coats and blankets. I have wasted tons of money replacing damaged items and and scared it will result in a fire. At first I just thought it was because the dryer was fancier than I was used to and I needed to learn how to used its technology but after learning the ins and outs it has continued to happen time and time again. Now I just air dry a lot of items to avoid them burning and melting which is a huge pain. It even has melted several infant Muslin blankets which is not what I would consider a material sensitive to heat. I’ve honestly just been avoiding contacting customer service knowing it will just be a hassle but I am beyond frustrated and after looking up see there is a class action lawsuit for LG dryers catching fire so I plan to contact them ASAP to get resolution. In the future I will go back to my tried and true Maytag.

Bought this $2600 fridge (LG LMXS30776S) in 2015. A week ago, noticed frozen fruit was soft enough to crunch. Took temperature of fridge and freezer compartments. Fridge: 49 deg F, Freezer 33 deg F. Compressor running non-stop. Pulled covers on evaps, partial frosting. No error codes. Got a replacement fridge off Craigslist that weekend. Plugged LG fridge back in, compressor comes on, but there is no cooling now. Indicates leak in sealed system. No error codes anywhere. Called local appliance shop -- $700 and it could take a month. Complained to LG on Facebook, they responded that they have a tech that could fix it total/flat rate of $375. Unbelievable. Pretty sure what happens with the compressor failure is that the refrigerant leaks out and the compressor keeps running harder and longer until it burns out. Cant believe that there arent any sensors to at least shut it off before burning out. Wont ever buy anything LG again.

Still under warranty my refrigerator stopped working after five months. Ive had repair people at my house eight times now in a four month period. Today the repair person walked into my house without knocking or ringing the doorbell. My dog stopped him about 5 feet from the front entrance way. The service call for today was for the repair person to tell me only that the part is on order. Again LG wasted my time. I asked the repair person, Why did you come to my house to tell me this, you couldve called!!! The customer service and the repair people at LG are not trained and do not know how to handle the customers nor does the company know how to stand by their product.I am asking my credit card company to dispute the charge because LG sold me a product that does not work. LG is now lying. Setting appointments without my knowledge. Their documentation is not correct and they say I am canceling my appointment. Executive desk also lies and makes up information and incorrect documentation. One person said that she would send me $150 for my food replacement. Later found out thats no such policy. My refrigerator stopped working December 2016 and it is now beginning of April 2017. My Refrigerator is still broke.

I purchased an Lg Washer and dryer a little over a year ago. Within the first year I had to have the washer repaired a total of four times with three of those repairs being done for the same issue. When I bought the washer at Pacific Sales in San Dimas Ca, I purchased an extended warranty. Just recently, the washer began to leak water again. I contacted the warranty department and notified them of the problem. They sent a technician out and he deemed the washer unrepairable since it had been repaired for the same thing several times. I then contacted LG and told them that they needed to replace my washer or give me my money back. This washer is a lemon. They told me that I was out of warranty and that I had to deal with my extended warranty company. I told them that I already had and that since the problem was a pre-existing one, they would have to replace it.So after two months, I still dont have a washer that works and not only that, I have a wash room that has been damaged due to the leaks from the washer. My wood floor has begun to warp. I have done everything that LG has asked me to do and provided and they continue to give me the run around and blaming everyone but themselves.

We purchased our home in 2/2015 which came with LG washing machine purchased in August 2013. Machine started showing UE/balance error by September. In first call to LG, we were told we needed to level machine. We did so, but machine was already leveled. Soon after, UE warnings began to appear during sheet washes and tub cleans. If we are not on top of the cycle, machine will run for hours spinning and then refilling then spinning again. Called again and told since we were out of two-year warranty we were responsible for call and repair. Technician recommended by LG said circuit board was gone and would cost $300 for part. One more call to LG, and we were told they could do nothing for us. Technician said to just purchase new machine as we would be throwing good money after bad. So we are replacing two and a half year old machine that was used since purchased by two owners who were retired couples and have minimal washes. A huge piece of junk. I would NEVER purchase an LG appliance again.

Bought LG black stainless steel appliances. The microwave bottom melted since it has the cheapest plastic material underneath. It melted under standard cooking situation. Uninstalled it and took it back to Home Depot, waited about five days to hear from the Home Depot. Finally got a phone call from Home Depot and stated LG has declined to do anything since the damage happened from outside. I was offered by the store manager to give me a discount on my new microwave that I will buy. Other than that my $300 just flushed out. Its sad to see such a terrible product and service from a company like LG. They make billions of $ by ripping off from the poor. Now Im left without microwave and my $300. Never spend your money just by looking at its brand name. Knowing they have a name they use the cheapest product and plastic from China and charge the highest dollar amount. Terrible product. It said to unplug the washer and call service. It took 7 days for serviceman to show up. The first thing he said was Oh, thats a typical problem and we need to order the part. 2 weeks later he shows up with the part and installs it. NOW...2 days later, what do I get? E-6 AGAIN!!! When it starts the spin cycle it starts growling. The machine is nothing but junk! It comes with a 10 year warranty and didnt last 4 months? I went to Lowes again this morning (1-20-20) and talked to the store manager and he said I had to have 3 service calls before LG will do anything about it. He claims he will look into it and will get back to me later today. Now its hell to have a brand new LG machine that 3 out of 4 months you cant use. We live in Westchester County in NY. I spent $3,000 on a counter-depth french door with linear compressor, the model number was LFXC24726S. Well, it only lasted two and half years, then suddenly one day it stopped cooling. Contacted LG directly and they told me to call a local authorized repair shop for a checkup. It took days for the local shop to answer my phone call and then another few days for a appointment. The technician told me the linear compressor was gone and needed to be replaced. Also the circuit board was faulty, it resulted in lower voltage than normal. Although the compressor was covered under the warranty, its value was only $360. It is the labor to replace it my friend that is expensive, about $1100. Even if I had it fixed, its not guaranteed to last another year. So I just decided to buy a new one. This time its not going to be LG.

I purchased a top load wave balance from Home Depot in November 2001 and waited for delivery until January 2002. Within two years of delivery, I noticed that the bleach dispenser had started to corrode around the plastic cup. The dispenser has now corroded to the point that it is laying on the wall of the agitator and dropping rust into the loads of clothes that I wash. I contacted LG headquarters and was told that since my warranty had expired I needed to contact a repair person at my own expense for repair. No explanation was given as to why the dispenser would corrode and start to drop.I previously had a Maytag washer that lasted 20 years with only minor repairs at the end. I am very disgusted with LGs customer satisfaction policy and Ive bought my first and last LG product. I guess in the 21st century customer service does not matter to big corporations. Well, Ive finally had it with this machine. We bought it & the matching electric dryer from former homeowners when we bought their house. Guess we should have done more research into the plethora of problems these sorry excuse for an appliance really have. These junkers wouldve been out on the road the second we moved in. First, within a month the dryer died. One morning I turned it on & it started smoking, so that was that. Out to the curb! Next, we had been using the LG steam washer for about 4 months & continually noticed water on the floor around it. Never really found where it was coming from other than a drip streak down the side around the detergent drawer where you add the soap/bleach. Another issue was the door lock kept malfunctioning & wouldnt let the load run unless you either slammed the door shut or put pressure on it with your knee when it was trying to lock. Then the thing would sound like a 747 taking off when it was in spin mode. It would shake violently & eventually wake up the baby with its deafening whir. Finally, it showed an error message saying the pump wasnt able to drain the tub because of a clog or something. So I got on my hands & knees to screw open the drain trap & 5 gallons of water came gushing out all over the floor. There is a small rubber hose down there also, but when I took out the plug on the end of it no water drained out. What gives LG? Do you need a wet/dry vac at the ready to do this procedure or a stack of towels so you dont trash the floor? Very poor design! And doing this did absolutely nothing. Same error code came up & the pump just sickly rumbled. So it is now out on the curb also awaiting a trip to the dump where it belongs. Please, everyone, do not buy these piece of refuse appliances from LG. You will only bring upon yourself great pain & grief. Time to break out the old GE top loader that I know works fine. Glad I held onto it for back up. DONT BUY LG!!!

WM2050CW - We purchased this machine in 2010 and it seemed the answer to all our prayers. It worked great, cleaned well and the clothes were almost dry when they were done - very little time in the dryer to get them done. The machine wasnt cheap but it would save energy and use less water and of course cut down on dryer time. Then this year problems arose and it was out of warranty. No problem, I thought, just call a repairman and all will be good. WRONG. Found out most will not work on the Korean made LGs. The parts are hard to get and expensive and the service from LG itself is horrible. This coming from the tech that we finally found to come out and work on it. Great we thought, get it fixed and back to washing. WRONG again. Pump was shot and the supports on the center drum were beginning to go. Okay how much to fix? We asked. $400 for the pump which could take up to two weeks to even get and up to a $1000 to replace the supports. OUCH!!!! Needless to say repairs were not done. Called several repair businesses to get a recommendation for a replacement. All came up with the same answer...... DONT buy another front loader. Reason: not built to last, parts are expensive, and some brands like LG nobody will work on. So we went back to the good old top loader and it is a Speed Queen and it has a 3 year warranty and according to all the repair people we talked to it is one of the most dependable out there. The best part it is made here in the good ole USA..... If you think front loaders are great look them up on youtube and see what happens when the supports go............ SCARY.

I purchased the LG DLE2050W Dryer along with the matching washer 2.5 yrs ago. It is just my husband and I now, 2-3 loads a week and dealing with this is ridiculous. You have to take the drum out to get to the most minute parts and what a pain that is. So, this dryer will be stuck in the corner of the basement and tomorrow, I am getting a new Whirlpool and feel confident I wont be dealing with these issues again.

Our refrigerator went out about 3 weeks ago. We had one repair technician come out who said the compressor and motherboard needed to be replaced. He ordered the part and 4 days later came to do the repair. Upon disconnecting the compressor, he said there was something else wrong with the refrigerator as there was no Freon in the system. He indicated that either the evaporator was bad or there was a leak in the line. He said there should have been Freon in the system when he disconnected the compressor, but there was none. He indicated we needed to contact LG to have them send out one of their service technicians to complete the repair. That is when all the problems arose. LG issued a repair order and a new technician called us. When he learned that another technician had opened the refrigerator to change the compressor, he said he would not touch the refrigerator. We call LG back and requested the work order be directed back to the original technician at our request, but to our dismay, the technician said he did not have the equipment to do the repair. Since then we have been trying to get in touch with LGs executive services and they saying they will call us back if we get disconnected. Sure enough, when they attempt to connect us to their Executive Service group (about 2 or 3 times), we get disconnected and have not received a call back.We contacted several companies that LG has referred us to call and found one that said they would come out and evaluate the refrigerator, but we needed to get a work order from LG assigned specifically to them for them to come out and work on the refrigerator. We are still waiting on LG for that work order. What else can we do?

I did not purchase an extended warranty as LG was supposed to be a high end appliance company and felt the product would not require service right away. However, I was wrong. One week after my 1 year purchase date, the dishwasher had an oe error code flashing one morning, which I did not know what that meant. So I continue to use it and instead of running at night while sleeping I decided to run before we went to bed. The dishwasher when first starting had a loud grinding noise, which sounded like it was trying to take off and start flying.I went online to find that this is a problem with the dishwasher and the company does not back their warranty. I started a chat at 8:38 to resolve the issue and remained on the chat until 10:52, with no resolution. I then called the company direct. Spoke with a rep and a supervisor, both of which informed me my dishwasher had no warranty. Only after I had to contact Sears, get a duplicate receipt, upload it to them and they reviewed it. Since I got a discount on my dishwasher due to the door having had swirl marks on the front it voided any extended warranty. Therefore, I like many others will have to pay a serviceman to come repair my dishwasher that I purchased just over a year ago. I would tell anyone looking for any type of appliance. Do not buy LG anything!!! Their customer service is awful and their warranty is ridiculous.Update 5/13/16: I received from LG names and numbers of authorized repairman in our area. Called their repairman, was told by them Oh, maam, you are not in my service area. So, therefore, I have no one to service my dishwasher.

It is brand new so it works perfect. Loving it. This machine has all the bells, and this new technology is really awesome. I love the way I can dry using steam setting, or I can just dry towels. And sweaters are so easy to do with the rack, truly great machine. I also love the way it plays a tune when it is done with the load. Cute.

I purchased the LG HE top loader (machine # WT 4801CW) in December 2011. It has never effectively cleaned a single load of clothes. Shirts come out of the wash still smelling of perfume/cologne; sheets come out with large dry spots where they never got wet. Washing in cold or hot water does not matter, nor does setting the washer on the highest level for soil and the extra high level of spin speed. I do not use a clothes dryer, so I use fabric softener but the clothes are so wrinkled even if I remove them the instant the cycle stops that every single item would need to be ironed. Even when washing very small loads (one pair jeans, 2 shirts, 2 pairs socks) there are dry spots on the clothes until the final rinse cycle, so they are obviously not getting clean. This machine will not remove any stain at all, no matter how minor. It also takes over 60 minutes to wash one load and has increased the number of loads I do a week despite having a much larger capacity than my previous washer. Luckily, when we bought it at Best Buy, they provided a 30-day return policy. My new washer will arrive this weekend. Im back to a front load Frigidaire, which is what I had before. I never had a single complaint about that machine. It lasted 18 years and never had a single service call, cleaned every single thing we ever put in it, and was very inexpensive to operate as well as having a much more reasonable price than anything else we saw on the market.

Our LG clothes washer is consistently - awful! Clothes come out ‘stiff and unwashed. For example, a folded handkerchief comes out of the wash still perfectly folded. Terrycloth towels come out stiff and scratchy instead of soft and relatively fluffy. Most of the time, some parts of a pair of pants, for example, are not even wet when the wash is done. The problem, I think, is lack of water. It is impossible to get enough water into the (front-loading) machine to properly wash clothes - even when the extra water option is used. Way back when I lived in military barracks and used front-loading washing machines, the water level was generally a third to half way up the front window. Not so with this LG machine. I really regret buying it.

Purchased LG clothes washer, from Home Depot. Washer performance was terrible since Day 1. Washed clothes was dirty, smelly, machine noisy, and expensive. American manufacturer may have been better, than Korean man.
