I purchased a top loading LG washing machine three years ago and I absolutely hate it!!! It takes forever to wash and the clothes dont smell clean! The machine itself stinks and It is so bad I have to use air fresheners in my laundry room. I tried the tub cleaning liquid (whoever thought you would have to clean a washing machine!) and bleach several times and only on the day I do this does it not smell. By the next day the smell is back! Dont buy this washing machine! I am so sorry I purchased it and I am ready to bust it up with a hammer so I can get a new one (never LG again!). Paid a lot of money for it too!

In just 5 months my LG 471 liter refrigerator has stopped cooling. The technician have come twice and are still trying to figure out the problem and its my 4 day without refrigerator plus they are not fully equipped. I am having the worst experience ever and highly disappointed with such a expensive product. All my food items have been spoiled. When the product was delivered that time too there some damage in the handle. We never expected breaking down of such a expensive product merely in 5 months.

We bought two new LG washing machines, one for our daughter and one for us
We bought two new LG washing machines, one for our daughter and one for us in 2010. Last year, after 6 years, our daughters LG washing machine broke down. This year, yesterday, our 7 year old LG washing machine broke down - in each case it was the motor - you could hear the defective motor. The motors are specifically labeled on the machines as being guaranteed for 10 years. We went out and bought a Samsung washing machine and dryer the same day as the breakdown, expecting the LG dryer at 7 years was not reliable either. Oh yes. There are only the two of us - retired man and wife - living in the house so the machines are not used that much. If we were a family with small kids, the washing machine doubtless would have broken down much sooner. I wonder if the executives running the LG operation are reading these consumer posts? They should. Word gets around.

The freezer compartment of the LG fridge (model #LRFXS2503S) we purchased in April of 2021 was not working properly. It was not making ice or keeping food frozen. The company contracted to repair the fridge came, and repaired it. The next day the entire unit quit working - no fridge - no freezer. I fought with the repair company, and they came out again the next day and repaired it again. Same thing - no fridge - no freezer. Unbelievable. The repair person told me he did not think it could be repaired - this was two weeks ago. I called LG, and they want the repair person to try to repair it AGAIN. LG also told me it was not their responsibility to replace the fridge - just repair it. Unbelievable - going on three weeks with no fridge over Christmas. AVOID buying any LG fridge. Ours lasted about six months, and the company has been no help in getting it fixed or replacing it. They dont care about you once they have sold you their product.

I dont care how many times a mo. I run the cleaning cycle, it still smells. My laundry comes out smelly. I leave the door open for up to 2 or 3 hours after I wash, dry the inside around the door. I also drain the drain hose about 4 times a mo. I take the roller jets out like 2 times a mo. and clean them. We have leveled it so much and even put a piece of plywood under it and that didnt help with leveling. This washer is really just a joke.

This design of this dishwasher is a nightmare. Ive actually read the manual on how to load this dishwasher thinking maybe I was doing something wrong. There is nowhere in the dishwasher where plates stand up. The tines are awkwardly placed, and continually fall down, so maybe a few bowls can go in, but they land flat on their back, pointing up when tines collapse (not exactly conducive to cleaning). Its as though the bottom rack is made to handle a couple of large pots and maybe two or three bowls. The top rack is also strangely designed and again has very little capacity to handle many dishes or glasses. When the bottom rack has dishes in it and I open it, the weight on the door causes the whole machine to start falling out of the wall. Ive probably owned ten dishwashers and can honestly state that I cant even rate this as working. Im literally having it replaced and throwing it away if I cant get Home Depot to take it back... Its less than a month old but I just cannot stand it. Ill pay twice for installation but it will be worth it because otherwise Ill be washing everything by hand. I also bought LG refrigerator and micro... nothing special about them, but I guess I should be grateful they work.

Our family purchased a LG refrigerator four years ago. The refrigerator retailed for two thousand dollars. We started to have problems with the unit after two years with ice build-up on the back. After contacting LG they told us to defrost the fridge. We did that every four months as needed. Now after just four years we woke up to the refrigerator at forty degrees and everything melted in the freezer and now all the food has gone bad. The last refrigerator we owned lasted fourteen years when we gave it to our son still working. Today we spent literally five hours on the phone with service and tech dept. until I wanted to cry in frustration. I never have been through anything like this in the sixty years I have been buying appliances. I cant believe I chose this experience when shopping for a home appliance. But still do not think this is right in any way.

If only I had checked for reviews prior to my purchase. I moved to Georgia from California a little over a year ago and was so excited about getting a new washer/dryer. I went to Home Depot (its a small town, so the store selection is limited) and found what I thought was a really nice washer/dryer combo from LG. I couldnt have been more disappointed. The washer takes FOREVER - mostly because it continually rebalances the load - all to no avail. After multiple attempts the washer gives up and chimes to tell me to come and rebalance it. Now - Ive had washers before (all with agitators, which this one doesnt have) and one - sometimes two - rebalances corrects the problem... NOT with the LG - sometimes I have to rebalance 6 or 8 times in order for the load to complete the cycle. Then I have to repeat the process with the next spin. It doesnt just happen with odd weight loads or odd sized - its nearly everything. I HATE THIS WASHER. DONT BUY ONE!!!

Bought a French door May 2017 from Costco, compressor failure happened after 2 years. After surviving without a fridge for 2 weeks as a family of 5, with 3 young growing boys, the compressor was finally replaced. It was explained that LG built these fridges knowing the compressors were not compatible and that they would fail. That compressor repair last 3 months... I have spoiled food 2 times thanks to this LG nightmare. We finally replaced this fridge after the 2nd failure as we need a dependable fridge. I have submitted for food spoilage reimbursement multiple times but LG is refusing to reimburse me due to the purchase receipt copy provided from Costco doesn’t have the ‘Costco logo’ on it. WTHECK?! We’re now a whirlpool, I will never do business with LG again. Worst experience of my life and I will be pursuing any lawsuit for these defective refrigerators.

My husband and I bought a top loading digital, true balance washing machine about a year ago. Since our first wash load, it has been nothing but trouble. The thing constantly goes off balance and it honestly sometimes takes a WHOLE DAY to wash 1 load! I own an LG front load washer. It has been problematic since its purchase 3 years ago. It never cleans the clothes. It makes clothes smell awful. I found out others are having the same problem. I wish they give my money back. I used all the recommended treatments, washing machine cleaners (additional expense), emptying its water often (additional inconvenience), leaving the door open when not in use (hit my legs and bruise them), still clothes smell horrible, especially towels seem to absorb this mushy smell. I hope soon I will get rid of it. I missed clean smelling fresh clothes so much. I need to use a ton of drying sheets to suppress the smell. NEVER BUY FRONT LOADING WASHER. I WILL NEVER AGAIN. They do not save water because you have to wash your clothes again and again. Also you need to clean the machine with special cleaners while running it empty. So in the end no water is saved.

I bought this refrigerator in Sept. 2012. January 2013 I experienced the 1F error message. LG had a tech come out and replace the computer board and the fan. January 2014 same thing happened. They replaced the control board and the fan (the original fan was recalled so a newer fan was put in place). January 2015 freezer frosting up again causing the fan to run all the time. LG says it’s out of warranty however it is the control board that is broke again. They sent a tech out that would not open the door until I gave them a check for $60.00. Then they tell me that LG is just refurbishing the old boards and sending them back to be put back in the refrigerator. They tell me they want $308.00 to replace and that I have to give them $150.00 before they would order. I can’t afford that. This should be LG replacing this as this part is defective and they continue to put defective parts back into the refrigerator and charge the consumer. All I want is a working refrigerator. I will never buy an LG product again. They are deceptive and should be recalling these control boards and replacing them with working boards.

I’ve owned this stove for approx 1 1/2 years and in this time my roommate and I have nearly burned the house down TWICE. The knobs are SO easy to accidentally bump and turn on. The first time I had a bag on top of the stove and luckily noticed before it started flaming, but my roommate started an actual full on fire last night with a basket of laundry. I’ve since taken the knobs off, but have read other reviews of people who have done the same, but that bumping the stems actually turns the burners on easier than if the knobs were in place???‍♀️ Ordered some child proofing so we’ll see how that works. No issues with cooking, but it’s NOT worth the risk!

I just had to replace a four year old LG dishwasher. This was the worst dishwasher I have ever owned. The rack system was poorly designed and engineered. The wheels were brittle and broke easily and very costly to replace. The control panel had to be replaced twice and although part of the warranty, it still was costly to replace. The motor was very noisy and recently stopped working altogether. I just purchased a Bosch dishwasher as a replacement and am sure it will be much better than the LG. This is the last LG product I will purchase. Poor engineering and poor customer support.

When we lost cooling in the fridge and freezer I contacted LG who told me to contact Mr. Appliance in NH who were their authorized repair representative and who would charge us $89.95 to diagnose the problem. I scheduled an appointment and took a half day off to have them come to diagnose the problem. They cancelled the appointment 15 minutes before they were supposed to show up. I rescheduled another appointment for another time (again taking another 1/2 day off) for them to say Yup it is the compressor and to say Now we have to order it. Third time (again taking a half day off) they came, took out the compressor, turned to me and say that the compressor in the box was the wrong one and that they would have to come AGAIN.First, if you work, then it is better to purchase another fridge since they only work monday through friday and if you would have worked instead of taking time off you will have made enough money to buy another fridge. It will be cheaper. Second, DO NOT purchase an LG appliance. They are horrible about their warranties and they probably do this purposely so that they do no not need to make good on their product. I will never purchase an LG appliance again. Save your money.

I purchased LG stainless double-door bottom freezer refrigerator model #lfy
I purchased LG stainless double-door bottom freezer refrigerator model #lfy25980st in 2009. I purchased a two-year extended warranty on the item. From the first six months, the ice maker and water dispenser worker poorly. Servicemen were out several times attempting to repair it. Finally they replaced it. I woke up several times after that to water all over my kitchen floor where water was running from dispenser. Then in September of 2011, I came home from vacation to find all the food in the freezer thawed and milk spoiled in fridge. In December that same year, the food on top shelf of fridge was frozen. I was told that I had the vents blocked with too much food. In 2012, the digital lock signal on the door panel would make sounds turning on and off the lock which turns off the water and ice dispenser. It made this noise all night. At this time, my warranty was up and I was using my home warranty plan at $55.00 per visit with a visit sometimes twice a month. I lost food at $400.00 a second time. The service men came out, changed the freezer sensor twice, replaced freezer door on unit and changed the motherboard in back of unit. It still didnt work properly. My home warranty company called LG, spoke to a gentleman named Alex who deemed it unrepairable on March 29th, 2014 with a wiring problem. I was told to send in my proof of purchase and repair history and they would replace or discount another one. Today, 5/8/2014, they have done nothing. As a matter of fact, I was told that since I had a warranty company, they would do nothing. The company only covers $500.00 per year on any covered item and they had already spent that trying to repair it. I would think LG could make a unit that works, not just looks good. Not even two good years. No one should ever buy LG products; I know that is it for my family!!

A $1,000 joke - We purchased an LG Black Granite model from Home Depot in November of 2018. It has NOT worked more than it has worked. Dealing with customer service is one of the most frustrating aspects of this whole experience. We have had a new power board, a re-wire and now waiting on a door component. All while the CS rep is trying to tell me to pull out the unit and shorter the legs... ummm what?It is now March and it is not working again. All through the holidays we had no dishwasher and have spent hours sitting here either on the phone or waiting for repair service. I will NEVER again. Home Depot should not even sell this brand. We bought a set about a year ago the LG washer inverter direct drive/true balance anti-vibration system with steam technology and the LG sensor dry with steam technology. I thought it might be too technical but its easy to use and my water bill is 7 to 10 dollars a month cheaper and we use a 1/4 of the detergent that we did before. And the options are many and it plays a musical tune when its done not a buzz that scares you and it large enough to do anything. I got the extended warranty because of the electronic board. Only one problem was the washer is so deep my wife has to use grabbers to get the laundry out of the washer. I think this was money well spent on and I like that the door on the dryer can pull down or from the side, the washer has a glass top thats called diamond glass and a soap and softener dispenser. I did wish they had it in something more than white and Im still learning thing about it like I can connect it to my phone to let me know when its done but I really have to say thats pretty lazy. I hope this helps someone if theyre looking.

I bought an LG side-by-side refrigerator in Aug. 2009. It has been a problem since it was delivered. The first one was replaced and a new model was brought out. This one has been a nightmare since. The ice maker freezes up and does not work; you only get shaved ice. It has leaked to the point that it has bubbled the paint and rusted around the bottom of the exterior part of the ice maker. I have contacted the extended warranty company Assurance, which I purchased. They have been out for four different occasions and replaced the ice maker. They said there was nothing they could do about the rusted and peeled paint.I contacted LG and they said it was something I intentionally did to the refrigerator otherwise, it would not have done it. I was told by NFM that the extended warranty would cover all defects. Under the LEMON law, after 3 times and it would be replaced. Aug 23, 2011, I contacted Assurance and the representative gave a claim number and said it would be replaced; transferred me to an underwriter and he informed me in no circumstances did I have an extended warranty that had a Lemon Law Clause in it. It would have had to be added separately. I told him I never heard of that. He explained that he would not exchange this product for that reason and I would have to contact Nebraska Furniture Mart, which I did and still waiting to hear from them. LG makes the worse products and hopefully, the government will step in and take away their right to sell this crap in the USA. I have also told them the freezer has problems also; freezes up too much or not enough, and the refrigerator part stays cold or freezes everything.

I thought it was no level, leveled it... OOH EE OOH EE UE... I thought it was too many clothes. OOH EEE OOOH EEEE. It is a big joke now between my wife and I although irritating. What good is a high-efficiency washer that uses 50 gallons of water (I am not sure of that amount but it fills the drum 3 times to balance) every time you do a load of laundry. I am sending this one to the junk pile soon. You shouldnt have to buy a new washer every 3 years. Actually this one should have been scrapped a year and a half ago. They said they do not cover anything the will of god and/or cosmetic issues. I think the person does not know that the plastic should able to bear the heat at least for 5 years, this is a defective design. The surface of the stove gets hot and the vapor now can go inside the display panel. This is not cosmetic issue, it is a functional issue. If the color is fading or scratch on the paint or the glass of the oven gets dirty, this is a cosmetic issue. If the glasses broke besides being a cosmetic issue has a protective function. At the time of the warranty, they do not explain this.

Ordered an LG fridge in December because its the only one that will fit in the space I have. Suppose to be delivered on Jan 19, 2019... The night before I got a call saying it wont be delivered because they dont have it. After many calls and the runaround I found out it was a system error and I will get my new fridge in a week. Still no fridge and still getting the runaround from customer service saying I shouldnt be calling them, Home Depot should... This is the worst company to deal with and I would love to return this fridge before it ever gets here. If it ever does! I am running a family of four and working full time with a beer fridge lent to me by Home Depot! Totally ridiculous, and very unacceptable. They are offering no compensation for my time or inconvenience of not having a fridge I ordered and paid for already!!!

I bought an LG ThinQ side by side in March of 2021 and July 2021 the compressor no longer works. It is not making ice nor dispensing water, the bottom half of the fridge freezes as well as the bottom of the freezer. I have been waiting patiently for the fridge to be repaired but when they came to repair it he explained that he would have to take the entire back off which will release all kinds of fumes into the air which could make us sick. Seeing as though we only had the fridge for 4 months we felt LG should replace it or return the money we spent for it or at least replace the money I have lost in groceries. Needless to say I am still without a refrigerator a month later, they claim my fridge was fixed 2 weeks ago and the tech came this past Saturday, my food was spoiled (after I spent 600 in food 3 days prior) and I have had to spend money daily to feed my family. LG is terrible to work with and needless to say their product is too. They sold me a lemon and now I am stuck with it and I have to purchase a new fridge. Thank you, LG for absolutely nothing!!!!

On November of 2011 I bought a top load LG washer, model WT5001CW. It worked great until a few months ago when the bleach dispenser area has begun to rot. It is so bad that the entire area where the bleach goes has come off the hinges and is just dangling off the base. When I contacted LG, I was told that the warranty did not cover cosmetic issues. When I asked to speak with a manager and explain that this more than a cosmetic issue, this is a manufactured defect! I was told that my case would be reviewed and they would get back with as soon as they made a decision. Two months later, I am yet to hear from them. This company needs to take responsibility for the manufacturing of their products.

Aesthetically, this LG French Door refrig is great looking; however, ice maker is quite poor. Ice freezes solid inside and the dispenser is useless. After 2 years the rubber piping on the right-hand side needed to be replaced. The plastic on the tray cracked as well as one of the bins. This despite the fact that we are all adults in the family.

I bought an LG French refrigerator less than three years ago. It stopped working on August 18 and I was told by my service person that the circuit board was dead. He ordered one from LG, which has no parts distribution other than from Texas, and said that it would be sent through UPS 3-day delivery. It has been five days and I still havent received the circuit board--no indication when and if it will ever come. Our food had rotted away and I cannot buy more as I have no alternative refrigerator or freezer.LG has no customer service credibility and the quality of this product is non-existent. No appliance should be sold without an at least 5-year All-Inclusive guarantee on it! I fault the government consumer advocacy departments for not putting this into law. I will not purchase another LG product.

We bought an LG Refrigerator LFX31925ST/05 about 1 1/2 years ago for about $2300 and it has been a nightmare. A few weeks after we bought it we started having problems with the ice maker/dispenser. The ice would thaw then freeze in the storage compartment in the door. So ice would not come out the dispenser. We continued to have the problem so had an LG recommended repairman come try to fix it. The first repair did not work. A few calls later and a different repairman and we find out there is a class action lawsuit for the ice maker and we eventually got it replaced. Now, at the age of 1-1/2 years we had the air circulating fan go out. Error code ER rf. Not covered under the 1-yr. warranty. It took the LG recommended repair man 10 days to replace the motor since it was on back order. We agreed to pay him once we were sure it was working. He left angrily. A half hour after he left, the error code was up again and the fan was not running! After we called and complained, the repair man figured it must be the circuit board. A week later, with a refrigerator that is warm on top and freezes on the bottom, we still have not yet had the board replaced. Maybe we can wait for another class action lawsuit. LG refuses to extend common courtesy and replace the parts without charge. We are looking at about $350 of labor and parts for a fridge that is 1 1/2 years old! On top of that, the stainless steel scratches very easily so be careful. Worst appliance Ive ever purchased!

It was a very simple fridge without a water spout or anything like that. I liked that it has a lot of fridge space, there were many shelves and even door space. The light was nice and bridge and high enough that the food didnt cover it or a tall drink didnt get in the way of the light. It had adjustable temperature settings that didnt freeze the stuff in the fridge or leave the stuff in the freezer half frozen. I disliked the amount of freezer space, it left a lot to be desired, it was two shelves that were like baskets and slid out if something fell behind the basket. It was very hard to get and extremely hard to clean out. The basket design was a big flop. Yes I can complain about the fridge section whatsoever and that was my main concern since most people generally use the fridge portion of their refrigeration unit the most and the freezer is generally built much smaller for lesser needs. Most people I know eat fresh food more often than frozen food.

Would you board an airplane knowing that when its electronics fail, there is no way the passenger door can be unlocked? This is exactly how the WT5070CW LG washer is engineered. Ours died a mere 4 years (!!!) after purchase - its electronic controller died in the middle of a wash cycle and left the brain dead machine with its door locked, with no manual way to unlock it, holding hostage a full load of wet laundry which has been rotting there for ten days, exuding a horrible smell! And, to add insult to injury, here is what happened when we ordered the part from LG (via Sears Parts Direct, order number **) and paid extra for expedited 2-day shipment: after 4 days we were informed that LG has not shipped yet, no reason given (the part should directly from their warehouse to home) and there is no guarantee when it will arrive. This is LG engineering! This is LG customer service!

We bought an LG top loading washing machine in July of 2014. Initially, everything seemed to be okay, but after the warranty expired, the machine started showing the ue code. We tried everything the owners manual suggested to no avail. I contacted the LG service center and was told that it would cost 224.94 for a one time repair. That would have been acceptable, except that LG wanted the payment upfront! Now, I dont know of any business that requires upfront payment, except for special orders. We ended up calling a local service company for service. We will see how that plays out. He is scheduled for about two weeks. I will never buy an LG appliance again.

Ive had to call numerous times for the dryer and refrigerator. This is not what I paid $700 for, its deceptive trade practice. Ive called Sears and LG both and neither is gonna stand behind their product. LG LDF6920ST Dishwasher - I bought this dishwasher in the spring of 2011 and in August 2014 the dishwasher will need to be replaced. This dishwasher was not abused and is in a 2 person household. Initially I smelled an awful smell of burnt electrical coming from the dishwasher and now it wont stay on. Im afraid it will catch the house on fire. An LG registered service person cost $89.00 for the service call and $150.00 per hour not including parts. Purchased refrigerator in October to be delivered to our home that was still in the build process. hhgregg held fridge for us until Nov.22, when it was delivered. $3600.00 later, I could take the thing and run a truck over it. 2 weeks ago, my husband came and got me from another room to show me the control panel on the fridge... it read..... R & DH. No clue what either meant, got the manual, lo and behold manual is in every language, but not one thing referring to the codes on the control panel. Left with one option - call the 800#.. Now that means speaking with someone in God knows where, who cant stop apologizing long enough for you to say what you need.... She informs me that we (my husband, who is 72 and myself who is 67) need to PULL the from the wall, unplug it and let it sit {like rebooting a computer}. Then plug it back in and it will be fine.... She failed to tell us that we would have to do this on the average of twice a day, every day!Contacted hhgregg. Oh we had 30 days for return, too bad!!!! Called LG, when the foreign person answered, I demanded to speak to a supervisor who spoke and understood ENGLISH, she supplied. She said that there was a company who would come to fix it.... She contacted them. They happened to be the ONLY COMPANY WITHIN A 75 MILE RADIUS THAT WORKS ON LG!!!!! Now, how lucky are we????? NOT.Company called, sent a young kid out to access the fridge. Lo and behold, I needed a part that would actually defrost the fridge. The one in there was not working. He ordered the part. In the middle of all of this, my husband had to have surgery. They called me to schedule the appointment and unfortunately I had to call them to come later in the day, I had to get my husband to the surgeons office for an emergency. Called the other kid repairman and he said he would make me the last visit. We got home around 1PM in the afternoon, called him and he said to me, oh I forgot I had another client and I wont be there today, they dont allow us much for gas money. I was furious.... I said to him, this is your job..... I had an emergency and he said, well you are the reason I didnt make it there today. I could have gone through the phone after him.... He then said I would have to contact the office to reschedule.. He had my part on his truck!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I decided to call LG and let them handle it. The gal said she would find someone who could come out and fix the unit... She didnt bother to say that she would not be in touch until the next week. In the meantime, we are still unplugging and replugging... and get angrier by the minute. I finally called LG to find out what happened. Oh the dept that handles that take 3-5 business days to locate someone. I ask her, suppose I had gone on vacation and this happened, I would have lost all my food. Yes you would and it was your responsibility. LG will not reimburse. I am not proud of my profanity at this point, but it was well deserved. LG had me between a rock and hard place. I called the owner of the company that first came out... {let me add this, the owner of the company called me and apologized for the kid that gave me the attitude and said he was no longer working for them, that is not how he treats his customers}. When I spoke to him, he was gracious and said he would be out on Thursday to fix the fridge. He came, apologizing once again, put the part in the fridge, after showing us the frost that was built up on the back of the bottom freezer. Said to us that if this does not work, then we have more serious problems. NOT EVEN 12 HRS AND IT WAS BACK DOING THE SAME DAMN THING. I am so angry, so frustrated..... Of course it happened on Friday so nothing was open until today.... I have posted this review here, next Consumer Protection agency, LG and then hhgregg... Busy morning for this frustrated and angry consumer!

I purchased the LG HE top loader (machine # WT 4801CW) in December 2011. It has never effectively cleaned a single load of clothes. Shirts come out of the wash still smelling of perfume/cologne; sheets come out with large dry spots where they never got wet. Washing in cold or hot water does not matter, nor does setting the washer on the highest level for soil and the extra high level of spin speed. I do not use a clothes dryer, so I use fabric softener but the clothes are so wrinkled even if I remove them the instant the cycle stops that every single item would need to be ironed. Even when washing very small loads (one pair jeans, 2 shirts, 2 pairs socks) there are dry spots on the clothes until the final rinse cycle, so they are obviously not getting clean. This machine will not remove any stain at all, no matter how minor. It also takes over 60 minutes to wash one load and has increased the number of loads I do a week despite having a much larger capacity than my previous washer. Luckily, when we bought it at Best Buy, they provided a 30-day return policy. My new washer will arrive this weekend. Im back to a front load Frigidaire, which is what I had before. I never had a single complaint about that machine. It lasted 18 years and never had a single service call, cleaned every single thing we ever put in it, and was very inexpensive to operate as well as having a much more reasonable price than anything else we saw on the market.

2015 LG french door refrigerator Model: LMXS307465 - Purchased December 2015, so just over 2 years old. Suddenly not cooling adequately and had ice building up. After defrosting and cleaning, would not cool to safe food storage temperatures. Several phone calls to LG for phone diagnostics were no help. Finally said it needed a service call and gave me numbers for 3 different service companies. Either they didnt come to my town or didnt work on LG. Finally found somebody to come on my own. Now awaiting a new control board. Called LG back to find out that part was only covered for a year under my warranty. That was an expensive fridge with a lousy warranty. We were building a new house and were looking for appliance packages. We really liked the appliance package and LG refrigerator because it had this cute little window in the door. It was a good price as well, and we liked the refrigerators features. The little window in the door is my favorite. The refrigerator has French doors and I can open just that part, like a little window door, of the top door and keep stuff in there. We had some issues, though, with the water dispenser on the front of it. The repairman called it a continuous water feature. It wouldn’t shut off when you press your water on it. It kept going on with water or ice until you locked it. So we had to have it repaired probably within the first month we had the refrigerator. But since then, it has worked fine. I’m pretty happy with my LG refrigerator.

My wife complained to me since day one about the washer, but I didn’t listened. But on until I washed clothes I found out what she was talking about. We have a 5 month old refrigerator that has not been cooling since 11/15/2016. A tech named Jerry came on 11/16/2016 and told us that he will need to call a supervisor for assistance moving the refrigerator in order to repair it but he will call us back that afternoon. (By the way, it’s on rollers. My husband and I were able it with no issue and I’m 7 months pregnant.)We did not hear back from Jerry until a week later on 11/21/2016 even after multiple voicemails. When we called customer service for assistance because we couldnt reach the tech we were told that there was nothing they could do until the following Monday. We went all weekend without a refrigerator and had to throw out ALL of our food. When a different tech finally showed up on Tuesday 11/22/2016 we were told it would be another week (after Thanksgiving) before repairs could be done. Now we have to wait until 11/28/2016 (please remember that the refrigerator stopped working on 11/15/2016).In the meantime I have no way of storing milk for my two-year old whos been eating fast food every day because we have no way of keeping food cold. I called and spoke with corporate supervisor LeeAnn who was extremely unhelpful and rude. She told me I’d just have to wait a week and didn’t offer any solutions or to help us a bit. From the second she came on the phone, she was argumentative and acted as if I was inconveniencing her. We’ve had to call all of our family and cancel Thanksgiving. I understand that it’s Thanksgiving week and that getting someone out to repair the refrigerator might be an issue; however, we actually called the issue in a week before Thanksgiving. If something had been done then we wouldn’t be in the predicament!

The computer board went 2 or 3 times, partly due to bad repair and wrongly installed. The compressor then went. Through all of this we lost hundreds of dollars of food and the fridge leaked and ruined our kitchen cupboards. Calling LG is the worst customer service. They provide the run around and takes days/weeks to respond and constant followup is required. They constantly say they are reviewing our case, but then come back and it is up to us to call back in and book something else. We purchased an LG WT4970CW washing machine in August 2014 from Best Buy. Shortly after using it, I noticed some of laundry would be dry on top, especially sheets. Sheets would be pulled tightly across top of drum and be completely dry - obviously were not touched by water and detergent. Then, on subsequent loads, the machine kept giving error message: UE which means the load is out of balance. Machine shuts off in middle of cycle and you have to open the lid, pull the laundry out and rearrange it, close lid and machine turns on again. However, during one load, this happened up to six times and it took me four hours to complete one load of laundry. I dont stand by the machine while it is doing its job, so when I would expect the laundry to be done, I would go to my basement only to see the UE displayed which meant it wasnt finished.I had a repair person come to my home last week (10/2018). He called and spoke with an LG technical support person. He explained the problem and was told I was doing the laundry incorrectly. The LG agent told him I have to wash only like items at one time. In other words, if I have a load of jeans, tee shirts, polo shirts, mens underwear, socks, I need to sort the clothes and wash the jeans separate from the shirts, separate from the underwear and socks!!! The machine goes out of balance almost every time I wash two bath towels, one hand towel, and one washcloth along with a nightgown and some underwear. The LG agent said I should only be washing towels (up to six bath towels) at one time and nothing else. This is not how REALITY works! It would take me a full day to do the equivalent of two loads of laundry. It would also defeat the purpose of the water-conserving feature of these new machines. I would need to do six tiny loads of laundry in place of my normal two loads. Also, I do not have enough clothing to wait until I have a full load of just underwear so it is a normal-sized load. I dont even have enough pants and shirts to wait until I have a full load of just pants to wash. This machine is only 4-1/2 years old and I have to replace it. I also bought the extended warranty, but was only offered a one-year extension for parts only. Of course, the warranty expired in August 2016.The repair person said there were no parts to replace or would make sense to replace, because the cost of the repair would be almost the cost of a new machine with no guarantee it would fix the problem. He told me my complaints are very common complaints he has heard over and over from his customers regarding their LG machines. The repairperson highly recommended I buy a Speed Queen TR7000 which works almost the same way my 35-year-old Maytag washer worked and it comes with a seven-year materials and labor warranty. Cant wait to give the LG machine the heave-ho and get the Speed Queen machine! I will never buy ANY LG product as long as I live.

And will not restart until the next day. Thought it was all due to the thumping. And the lint vent needing cleaned. Found out the drum had a crack in it because of a faulty weld. LG Dishwasher Model LDF7932ST, leaking door seal several months after buying the dishwasher. The bottom rack caught on the thin metal that houses the door seal molding it bending it. I bent it back but it keeps happening. This is such a poor design. After it got bent back and forth so many times, my dishwasher is now unusable. I have a $900 piece of scrap and that is being kind the thin metal that houses the door seal that is welded in crap. We have been unable to purchase the replacement parts. We have to keep putting towels under the dishwasher to wash dishes. This is ridiculous to have such an expensive dishwasher that turned to crap so quickly. If anyone can be of any help, please write.

We purchased our LG Wave Force top loader model number WT5001CW about 4 1/2 years ago at my local Home Depot for $850. The biggest mistake of our lives. First, the issue with washing blankets, towels etc. The code I think IU or EU pops up and you have to reorganize the blankets and make sure the machine doesnt continue to fill the tub. Sometimes it would take 4 hours to wash my blankets or comforters. Second, the bleach dispenser (I use non-chlorine bleach) seems to always be filled with water. We think the tube is clogged but we are dealing with a more serious issue right now which is my final issue. The third and final issue having dirty clothes come out of my washer after you are supposed to have clean clothes. The delicate cycle does not allow you use to use a lot water so your clothes are not completely covered in water. Then I take out my clothes and find these pieces of dirt and pebbles. Changed all the hoses. Didnt help. Have to shake my clothes of these dirt/pebble pieces then vacuum out my washer to do my next load. We tried to take the bottom plate off and just took off the bolt but the plate is stuck. We did find A LOT of icky stuff on the bolt so we know under the plate is the real issue. Most likely there is build up and needs to be cleaned out. My husband tried to bang it with a mallet to loosen it up and filled it with fabric softer but nothing happens. This washing machine is such a headache and I wish someone would just take it. I dislike it so much. Plus with the recall you cant wash waterproof items, haha. I had the repairman in here about 2 years ago to do what? Not really sure. Please save yourself the headaches and your money. Plus there is a lot plastic components which equals cheap to me.

This dishwasher (LDF7810ST) quit after 2 years of use - it has never completely cleaned or dried the dishes even though a rinse agent was used. I rinse 3 times before a wash cycle and its still of no use. I had it repaired, but I should have bought another brand. I have also had an LG cellphone which was so annoying in its battery life that I went back to my old trusty Samsung for 2 1/2 yrs to wait out the contract. Life is Good as long as you do not buy LG.

My LG french door refrigerator is six years old. Six months after I purchased it the little spring on the French doors broke I had to buy a new on eBay. A little after the warranty went out the ice maker broke. I paid for a whole new one it wasnt long after that the ice maker broke again so I just left it and started making ice with trays. Now it has stopped cooling and freezing. Now what LG? Youre taking peoples hard earned money thinking they are getting something trustworthy! I have an old Maytag in my garage. Its 30 years old never stopped not once.

I have owned LG dishwasher and front loading washing machine for approximately 4 years. We have had two issues which require service. Upon calling the LG service number, we were given a list of certified repair services. All of the certified service technicians are over an hour away and refuse to travel this far. This is laughable given that we live in the Metropolitan NY area - only three services centers to service 10 million people? Really? The individual who answered my call at LG was arrogant and uncaring and had no idea New York City was that big - wow. Finally, I got an independent service tech who was lovely and said LG is the absolute worst company to work with for parts replacement. I will never ever buy an LG appliance again.

We purchased all new LG appliances for our new summer home. In our third year of use, our dishwasher began to error out with a 1E code and would shut down. We were able to restart it and it would complete its cycle. That worked for a short time and then it started to error out all of the time. We contacted LG and they told us to contact a repair service. We purchased a new part and that did not work, so LG sent us a new control panel. That did not work. We have taken the machine out and put back in, made sure it was level and it still did not work. We now have an immaculate dishwasher that does not work. Now within the last year, our numbers on our stove clock have been burning out one by one. LG does not stand by their products and had an oh well attitude. We will never purchase another LG product.

Options were priority #1 but cost vs options was a big consideration. Loved the steam dryer feature but wasnt a fan of the track record that front loading washers have with having to be cleaned regularly. However, thats been a minimal issue since we purchased them two years ago. Brand reputation and capacity is a plus as we have 2 kids and very busy schedules. Our need is to do large loads fast. So far thats been the result. Regular repair and low quality construction would be instant turn-offs for my wife and I. But we likely wouldnt look at anything that would fall into those categories anyway. We have the two red LG front loading washer and dryer set with the steam dry option. Were able to load the washer up with large amounts of clothes regularly and wash them quickly, and we actually saw a drop in our water bill after we brought them home. We opted against the pedestals, but were reconsidering that thought as they are a little short for a guy who is 63 and does his own washing. So far, not a single major issue.

Before I called for service regarding my problem with my LG range, I read the reviews here and they really scared me. I almost decided not to bother calling them at all with my concern. But I did and was EXTREMELY happy with the results. Customer service answered my call after only a short wait and the rep put me through to the dispatch office who set up an appointment with a local repair company, gave me a service ticket number, phone number for the local company in case of a problem. The repair company came 2 days later (we live out in the boonies!) and fixed the problem at NO COST, as LG gave me this one free service call. I was amazed. Problem solved quickly and easily. I bought this LG Gas Slide In Stove Model LSG4511ST from Home Depot online
I bought this LG Gas Slide In Stove Model LSG4511ST from Home Depot online on Feb 17, 2018. Within a few weeks of barely using it all five burners on the stainless steel stove top were corroding with rust. We just spent a ton of money remodeling our kitchen and were excited to get our first and new Slide in Gas Stove. Well the nightmare began. We contacted Home Depot and they referred us to LG. Home Depot wouldn’t speak to us. We paid $1300 for the stove. After many calls, chats and emails to LG customer service and their executive office they replaced the entire SS stove top and all five burners after SIX months of hell with them. They didn’t show up, excuses, no response to emails, no call backs - HORRIBLE company. Then within a short time after they replaced parts it started corroding AGAIN around ALL FIVE burners. The calls, chats, emails to LG started again and this time they don’t respond at all. I tried Home Depot also and they will not take any responsibility. Nothing! I am sitting here with a defective ugly stove in the middle of our brand new kitchen. I am now forced to sue them. I filed a complain the US Bureau of Consumer Goods a month ago, was assigned a complaint number and “investigator” name and email and they don’t respond either. I have tons of documentation of this nightmare and photos. The icing on the cake is I wrote a review for the stove on www.homedepot.com and they “rejected” it. They didn’t want the public to know the truth about a product they sell!

Our direct drive, load self-balancing, year and a half old machine has been exhibiting all the unbalanced load problems frequently mentioned in reviews that I found after my wife told me that she keeps getting EU code indicating an unbalanced load which she redistributes by hand, followed by standing over the machine and holding it as steady as possible in order to finish the loads. When I tried to change the spin speed to low, the machine spun as fast as ever. After reading the other reviewers experience with LGs customer relations I intend to go out tomorrow and buy a non-LG washing machine and try to support any class action lawsuits that are inevitable (I hope). Maybe after their exploding cell phone problems are over, they will take care of their appliance customers. As one of the other reviewers mentioned, it seems as if LG didnt do their due diligence when it comes to product testing prior to bringing to market.

Updated 09/04/2020: Every single review here on this website, there is a response from LG promising to look into the problem, its been two weeks since I sent them my information that they asked for and have heard nothing. Since then Ive had my electric range repaired. On my credit card statement they charged me $135 just for the diagnostic and $150.50 for the replacement of a Rotary Switch. It took the repair technician 45 minutes to take my stove apart and test each component. He couldnt determine what was wrong with the stove at this point. Then he went to the visitor parking lot where his truck was parked and brought in the box of parts, why didnt he bring them in when he came in, (the clock is ticking at $65 for 15 minutes)? He opened the box and took out a rotary switch, thats the plug on the knob that turns your stove on and off. He replaced it and that was what the problem was, problem solved. The time that it took him replacing the very first part that he tested without taking the range apart was like two minutes. He should have done that to begin with. Summary: it took the Technician 50 minutes to take the whole stove apart and test everything without a diagnosis and less than 5 minutes to replace the first part that he tested without having to take the whole stove apart. I was charged an additional $150.50 for that on top of the $135 for the diagnostic fee. I disputed this charge with a supervisor after calling them and havent heard anything since 8/27/20 for their review of my complaint.Original review: I purchased the $1,100 electric range 2 years ago. I use it three, four times a month maximum and already after 2 years the front right burner doesnt work. I called customer service to inquire about it and they informed me the warranty had expired after a year. I said I was very disappointed after having a stove for only 2 years that already I need to have a burner replaced. I was told that the supervisor could review the matter and that I would hear back 3 to 5 days. I heard back after about eight days with a denial and that I have to pay for the repair. Im stunned that I paid $1,100 for the stove and already and it needs to be repaired???

LG needs to have a class action lawsuit filed against them or we all need to file claims against them in small claims court. We have most of the same issues as everyone else: Tromm LG washer and dryer. Washer model WM2277HW and dryer model DLG5988W. The washer smells like mold and always has. Slimy, moldy gasket, towels and bathroom rugs come out smelling like a barn, especially the washcloths. Soap dispenser does not drain properly; dryer does not dry. We have had multiple service calls and nothing gets more than a temporary fix or they declare they cant find anything wrong. These units were supposed to be the best and we have been putting up with them far too long.

I purchased the LG Direct Drive washer model number WT1101CW a couple of years ago. It worked great the first six months. Now virtually every load you wash throws a U.E code meaning load is uneven while in the spin cycle. If you dont pull the load out and place it by weight around the tub it either shuts off until you do or fills back up with water over and over again. Rarely does it solve the problem itself. I would rather have a bottom of the line washer than this piece of junk. I dont understand how it received the Energy Star Rating when it waste gallons of water on every load not to mention the extra electricity. It makes you wonder if the Energy Star Rating means anything on products. Whoever is in charge of it obviously didnt do much testing on this unit. Companies like LG and Samsung make great electronics but when it comes to appliances not so much.

My nightmare is about a $2000 refrigerator and about $10,000 worth of aggravation. I have a refrigerator that is eight months old and it started having a problem. We called LG and they sent somebody out here. It turns out, the compressor died and then, they fixed it. Roughly after a month, it started to buzz loud enough that if we were trying to watch TV or talking on the phone, we couldnt hear it too well. Plus, if we walked anywhere in the house, we would hear the refrigerator buzz. It was fairly loud. We lived with the buzzing for about two weeks and its a little bit like the Chinese water torture because it was very annoying but we didnt know what to do. When I called, the rep told me that if a repair guy comes to the house and he doesnt hear the buzzing, I was gonna get charged. But its not making the noise all the time. It goes to a certain cycle. The whole refrigerator resonated with the vibration of it and gets a vibration out of the fridge from the motor. So now, were in a quandary. I told the rep I didnt want to spend another $100 to have somebody come here and when hes here, its working okay and then we have to pay him. And then, it goes back to being bad again. I kept making phone calls and I figured they were in the Philippines and the reps dont speak English very well. It was very frustrating. I call and say, I have a blue horse, and they say, What color of the horse? They listen but they dont really hear me.After about 10 calls of getting nowhere with them, I got a woman over there who transferred me back to an escalation department in the United States. Also, I happened to record the sound on my phone that day and the rep heard it. She said it was the compressor. She authorized a repair person to come to the house without charging us. The repair guy came with the supervisor and they fixed that. Then, we thought we were fine but the day after the repairmen came, the refrigerator started not working well. The freezer was like 10 to 20 degrees. 24 hours is the period of time I have to give the fridge to adjust but everything is high now. Also, in the period of time they came back, I had it set for minus 6 and 33 but I get to read 0 and 40. Even at the coldest setting, it was barely acceptable within the normal range. The fluctuations were bad. I called the repair person on Friday and told them the fix wasnt working right. He told me it was just my thermometers. But I have two thermometers and theyre calibrated. I called them Monday morning and we still had the problem. I gave it the ice cream test and my ice cream melted. So I left the repairman a message but he never got back to me. Finally, I talked to Famous Tate and the regional manager instigated the callback to LG to come service the fridge. We then had an appointment on Thursday. But then, that time, it started getting cold again. I even called the repair person that Thursday and told him about it. But anyway, he came and took it apart. He said there was a leak in the evaporator. When he did the compressor, he put a dye in and when he came back, he could see that that was the problem. Hes coming back Tuesday to do the evaporator replacement. Meanwhile, the freezer is somewhat normal but the fridge part reads 40 degrees. I have it set very cold. The repairman is telling me the evaporator is bad but it doesnt jive. Also, that buzz is back but not as bad. If I push in on the doors, it stops. I can hear the motor going but that zzzz! that Im hearing is vibrating. Now, we have a refrigerator that doesnt work right and one that is making noise. Thats where were at and were very frustrated. Also, dealing with people overseas was horrific and not fun. They have something called Smart Diagnosis where I can go to the product, hold my phone up and it goes, Beep and they can get a readout of everything going on in my refrigerator, the temperature and how many times I opened the door. I wanted to get that printout from them so I could show the repair guy but I was told they were not allowed to do that. On one hand, Im unhappy about my experience with LG but they did come here to try to fix it so thats good. But this is an expensive refrigerator. If I could pay money, even if I took a hit on the refrigerator and get rid of it, I would. The product is pretty unreliable and the scary thing about this is because weve had the fluctuation in temperatures, we could eat the food and could get very sick.

I have had this LG FRENCH DOOR LFX31945ST refrigerator less than a year. It has been noisy since they delivered it but when I brought it up to the tech that had come back to replace the freezer door b/c of discoloration....he made it sound as though the compressors just make more noise in the new ones. So I thought, ok... I will give it some time... Well, as time went on, the noise got louder and louder. I can actually hear it buzzing and whining over my television in the Living Room (so many random noises off and on thru day, I couldnt possibly describe them all). So I call servicing dealer back and tell them still loud and seems to be constantly running. I also discovered while I was researching others complaints that there has been a problem with back wall icing up, so I looked and yes back wall completely iced over.Tech said he hadnt heard of any of these being problems, but Then he heard noise and saw ice. So he ordered new back panel, defrost control and module. When parts came in, he replaced everything. Less than 8 days later, still whining and other noises and now developed a bad smell/very bad smell that when fridge was opened would take over entire kitchen and living room area. By the time tech comes, the smell is not detectable b/c it dissipates over time, only to come back randomly. He denotes no problem found b/c noises werent as loud as they can be when he is here, even though I still think its louder than it s/b. At this point we are very frustrated to spend this kind of money and have so many problems is sickening. Problems continue and I call again, service comes out and back wall icing over again. Tech hears the loud noises (high pitch whine has become a constant, loud sounding fans and an occasional clunky sound) and the SMELL is back. Tech now has witnessed everything. He gets on phone w/ LG and he is told we must have introduced the smell. REALLY! I know we have not but we are advised to try charcoal like for a fish tank filter. I tell the tech that Im concerned b/c warranty is up in June and how do I know if he reorders everything hes replaced once that it wont continue to be a problem later. It had to be an inherent problem and what is LG gonna do about it. I feel they should extend warranty or give me replacement fridge. He did his best to tell LG that they need to do something more... Their solution is its fixable so they reorder everything again (back panel, defrost control and module main). I call customer service to voice my concerns and ask about extending warranty, to ensure this problem actually gets fixed. I am read some script that is obviously told to every customer and the Supervisor I spoke with was not nice. He had a nasty disposition and offered me no resolutions. He just made me angrier. So parts arrived and another tech comes to install the parts. It has been around 9 days and guess what? SMELL is back, noises are worse than they were before this last service call and ice is beginning to build up on the back wall again. So here we go again. I am going to call again, wait again to be notified morning of service call and given a 2-hr window of when they will be here (so I cant plan anything for that day b/c no specific time for service call). Another day wasted, more aggravation and I am fairly confident the problem wont be resolved. Instead I will be advised to purchase an additional warranty coverage since mine expires in June. I am not looking forward to complaining to customer service again b/c, well Ive seen how they treat customers and their philosophy is the customer is always a nuisance and they wont help me at all. So here we go, I will place call and waste another day. Do yourself a favor and dont buy this product, no matter how much you love the lighting, the door in door feature and the versatility of the shelves inside... Trust me - not worth the headache. Oh and not real stainless steel.

I initially didnt buy an LG. I won my first one at a Christmas party raffle. I took it home that night and enjoyed it for about four years and I had to sell it because of the size of my household was expanding. But we really dont have any negative effects with this brand. The refrigerator was a gem to own. Never had any problems with it not doing its job. Would buy another one without any hesitation. Always keep my food at a constant temperature. And keep my vegetables in the crisper crisp a little longer. The only problem I ever had was that it wasnt right for me in the realm of space. I would like to see a little bit more space in the freezer compartment. And towards the end of my ownership of the product it was making a little more noise from the compressor than usual.

I called LG back and they gave me another phone number, called and set up a service call. They showed up with NO parts on them due to LGs policies. They do not allow them to carry parts for their product with them. The company ordered the part and told me it would be 4 business days before I could get it fixed due to LG having to ship them the part. LG on the other hand said they 2 day overnight parts. That was a lie. The appliance repair came 6 business days later (due to waiting on part), installed the pump, and to no avail. The technician said it had to be the computer board that was bad. What?!? We tested the washer and lo and behold due to the bad computer board, it burned up pump #2. From this point obviously I had a lemon of an appliance. Thank God for our local Home Depot, whom I purchased it from, because dealing with LG is a nightmare! We had the ice maker or some components of it replaced twice, under warranty, but not without several bumbled service visits - wrong parts, wrong initial diagnosis, etc. Now the freezer door seal has lost its suction. LG LDG3036 ST Gas Range. I really like the double ovens and the design of this gas range, but I am completely dissatisfied with how the stove top burners work. The size of the flames around the burners vary considerably, so food will burn in one part of the pan and be barely simmering in another part, making it very, very difficult to cook food evenly. All 5 burners have the same problem. An LG technician came to fix it for the second time today with no improvement. I just got off the phone with customer services Executive Services and was told there was nothing more they could do, and that the stove was functioning according to the manufacturers standards and they will not replace or let me return it. So I paid $1300+ for a stove that doesnt cook any better than a primitive campfire. I have cooked on gas stoves for more than 30 years and have never had this problem. Cooks buy gas stoves so they have more heat control, not less. Id suggest LG needs to reconsider their manufacturing standards as their current one is unacceptable.

We purchased a LG 25 cu ft refrigerator on 11-21-13. Not a small expense, $1400.00, on sale, too. Model LFC25776ST. It lasted less than 2 years. We called the company, and got NO more than an answering machine, leave your message, and well call you back. NOTHING happened. There was NO response from the company. I will NEVER do business with LG again, and am still angry at the lack of concern or even response from the company. LG has shown exactly NO corporate responsibility.

When the machine cycles on it will pump water out of the soap drawer at times. Sometimes when it is started and other times when it goes into rinse mode, flooding the drawer below the washing machine and the floor. It took several calls to a person who did not want to send a service tech. He told us it was because we were using a wrong detergent. That is a perfect example of how little he knows about the product. When we finally got a service tech to come out and look at it, the problem did not show up while he was here and he had no idea what was happening. So although he was a very nice person he was not schooled in the product then he was sent out to troubleshoot. There has to be a troubleshoot guide that is developed from other repairs done in the field. My washing machine is not the only one pumping water on the floor. It Cost 89.00 for the service call. My Daughter paid 40.00 the same day to check her Maytag.

I originally purchased a 28 cubic foot French Door LG to replace a 28 cubic foot Samsung. Due to the construction of the LG, the drivers were unable to get the refrigerator in my door. I had to then search for another LG and ultimately had to purchase a 24 cubic foot. Very poor in terms of interior space and not because of the cubic foot size, because of the overall design.

LG microwave dead at 18 months!! I bought an LG kitchen suite. I decided to go with the pricier microwave which looked good and had cool features expecting at least 5 years of function. I bought Model#: LMHM2237ST. It just died one day, no clock, no lights, no power, nothing. Called LG, it is out of warranty period. LG sends me warranty extension offers so frequently for all the appliances but now I understand why. At this point I cannot recommend LG to anyone. Disappointed.
