We have a 25 cubic foot stainless steel side by side refrigerator, 3 1/2 years old. On the 8th we noticed the freezer wasnt freezing (thought we had left the door open), but on the 9th we noticed water on the floor from the ice melting, called Sears where we purchased it and got the name of 2 service techs. The next day he came out and said the compressor had gone out (he mentioned that LG is known for this, and GOOD LUCK with service from them), he gave us a quote to fix it, said for what it would cost it would be better to get a new one. The next day we went to Sears to look for a new one, found out through them that the refrigerator was 100% warranty from LG on parts and labor, so we went home and called LG the next day. By this time we have lost hundreds of dollars in meat and other items out of the fridge and freezer. After contacting LG and talking with an agent, and letting them know we had a compressor go out (let me tell you, every time I talk with a new one, and every time the language barrier makes the communication hard), anyway they said they would get a service call right out. That was on Monday the 13th, I did not hear from them so I called back, and again no service scheduled, the agent said they would expedite and get a service request. On Thursday the 15th, I got an email that we would have a service call on Friday. Friday morning I called A&E service to verify the service and time, they had NO record of a service call. So I called LG and they told me to call A &E myself to schedule, so I did, well A & E says they cant set it up because its under warranty and I have to go through LG, so I call LG back again. I was on the phone for 51 minutes (mostly on hold) with a Michael, results, they will expedite, give them 2-3 business days.On 4-21 called LG to see where we were, was told that A & E has scheduling issues, give them 2-3 business days. Called LG on 4-24, same thing, give them 2-3 days, but this time they offered to pay up to $200.00 for a refrigerator rental. I declined, one, doubt this would pay for a rental for as long as this is taking, and two, we lost everything when it went, so basically living on the basics to get by, NEVER thought it would take this long. I asked for corporate phone number, but forgot this was suppose to be a manager I was talking with, so I was given a phone number and it was the 1st number I ever called for the service, this person hung up on me.Called the corporate number back 256-612-5359. Talked with Rads, while on the phone with me he called A& E and told me that A & E accepted a work order for the repair, but have no record of it, so HE IS GOING TO EXPEDITE THIS TO CORPORATE OFFICE,, GIVE THEM ANOTHER 2-3 DAYS to get a response. However he did offer because of my issues they would authorize a local service repair and pay for the parts, we pay the service and labor and they would reimburse us up to $450.00. I passed on that option, if they reimburse as fast as they get service I may never see the money, and at this point in all of this, I do not trust them. I feel all I have got is a run around and a way of them hoping we will go buy a new refrigerator and drop the repair claim. Not gonna happen.P.S. when we were looking at Sears in the beginning, was looking at a Kenmore Elite, however now that I know it is made by LG, there is no way I would buy it. Our original local service man that we had, told us good luck with LG, obviously this is their normal customer service. We have become a disposable society, and nothing last like it use to, but when you spend $1500.00 on a refrigerator it should last more than 3 1/2 years, and if it still is covered under warranty, you shouldnt have to go through what I have. I would not recommend anything LG, if this is how they take care of their customers.

UPDATE- LG did send a repairperson on August 2nd and a new compressor was replaced. I was told this refrigerator has defective compressors. A&E repair sent the new compressor prior to the repair date so it would be here and I wouldnt have to wait for it to be ordered and wait even more time, which I was very grateful for. I am now waiting for LG to call me for compensation to a French Door refrigerator that was full of food that was lost due to this problem not to mention the inconvenience this has caused. Thank you LG for coming through. I wish you would have been as attentive to my 52 tv when that went not even 2 years old.

200 characters isnt enough to explain, LG wont offer up they know about the issue and that they extended all warranties on the linear compressor to 5 years. My refrigerator was purchased on Nov. 1, 2017. https://lgcommunity.us.com/discussion/3871/important-lg-refrigerator-warranty-information-announcement-please-read. Opened case with LG support, LG happily said that my refrigerator is under warranty when my LG account for registering my appliances clearly says it is out of warranty. You have to call the number in the link that I added to get the warranty work. Talking with the agent, who was pleasant to speak with, also came back and said that LG will also offer to pick up the cost of the Labor on this call as a complimentary service. Really? It is stated in the warranty that Labor is covered! So much for the fake gesture, is Life Good? Anyway, back to my story. Now that I finally got to the bottom of all this, we have a service ticket generated and the agent is working to confirm a service technician in my area to take the service call, stating we will have someone within 24 hrs. Ok, well we all know by now, 3 days after the refrigerator has stopped cooling and at 61 degrees, all of our food is no longer safe to eat. It is now exactly 24hrs from placing my service call with LG and still no confirmed service technician on the case, when-o-when will my refrigerator cool again? And Ill just leave all discussion about the pandemic going on right now, ugh...As I continue to do more research about this topic, how many of you are aware of the class action suit against LG for this exact issue? ** I guess it pays to do your research. After the cost of a technician to tell me the compressor isnt functioning properly and a hum hum nudge nudge on the shoulder saying check this out, I discovered all this and am now expecting my refrigerator to be fixed for free. Once it is fixed I have to ask one more question. Is the new compressor covered by a 5 year warranty from the day it was installed, it should be! After all, we all know that this compressor will also fail within the next 36 months, give or take. This is the second generation linear compressor and LG has yet to fix its know issues, I am not aware of a 3rd generation compressor coming out any time soon. If you continue to research you will find that LG has already gone through a class action suit for this same issue on compressors prior to these. I hope this was some what helpful to anyone reading this and doing their own research into an LG refrigerator. Anyone looking for a French Door Refrigerator? I have one for sale!

From the very 1st week I use the machine, clothes never smells fresh. The washing cycles are too long and honestly I dont think it saves me any water. But the worst is the smell. I use softener drying sheets and my clothes smells like mold. My husband hates the smell especially in the towels! I would never recommend a front loader and definitely not an LG brand. I had the worst customer service. Im ready just to take a big loss on this machine. The water pump went out, just 3 months after my service contract had ended figures! Had the pair for only 5 years and already had problems with washer 3 times! I hate it!

Awful. This dishwasher has the same problem that I keep seeing from others. Namely that it wont cycle and starts beeping. I clean the filter, rearrange dishes, change the cycle and it doesnt matter. With a very small load it will sometimes fully cycle but with a full load this dishwasher NEVER cycles. This was fairly expensive model and that investment has been flushed away. It was part of a full LG appliance buy and now I have to replace with a different brand. Very disappointing and Ill never buy another LG appliance again of any kind.

My stove arrived today. As I wiped the interior oven to get ready to use it, my rag was covered with blue shards. I called the company, they could not explain it. It is being returned. Some of the shards were tiny, almost dust like. Others were larger. I cant imagine how a baked chicken or roast would not be ladened with these particles. Scary.

Model number LRE4213ST Household Electric Range. Most concerning is how ridiculously easy the knobs turn. Just walking by or leaning too close to the stove turns them on. We now have to fully remove the knobs whenever it is not in use because we have had several close calls. Aside from being unsafe this range heats unevenly, turns off at inopportune times and is very difficult to use.

We purchased this LG refrigerator (LFXC24726D $3,022.99) from HDP in 2016 and have had the compressor to go out in Sept. 28, 2018. We lost all of our food, which they did not replace. This just happened to occur a year after the loss of my husband. This added to the agony of lifes challenges. Now less than 3 months later the freezer goes out. This is now the food in the freezer lost. LG initially said there would not be a charge for the repair. The technician arrives and tells me that there is a charge because this is a different issue not related to the compressor. On December 26, 2018 (my birthday) I called LG and was on hold for an extreme amount of time, only to get transferred again to speak to supervisor Sharon to tell me that there will be a charge; but as a courtesy they will give me a one time credit for the loss of my food in the amount of $125.00. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!! $125.00 FOR WHAT HOUSEHOLD IS THIS!!! We lost all of our food in September 2018 and then on December 24, 2018 we lost all of the food in the freezer! I explained the age of this refrigerator to the LG representative Sharon, the issues and all the loss incurred. She proceeded to tell me that there is no one else I can speak to (before I could even ask) and that I would have to pay the service fee. LG SUCKSSSSSS!!! After all of the food we have lost at Christmas!! I am so sorry to have ever purchased this refrigerator. I am even more regretful to have any LG products in our home at this low grade of customer service. I am no longer an LG supporter and advise anyone who is spending their hard earned dollars to spend it where it will not be wasted like this because this just is not right. I AM SO UNHAPPY WITH LG!! They could have easily diffused this situation by not charging me the service fee; how awful and unprofessional!!

When our old refrigerator quit a little over 2 years ago, my wife and I shopped around and decided to purchased a new LG refrigerator. When the door panel control indicated we needed to replace the air and water filters, we ordered replacements but before the replacement arrived the cooling shut off completely and we lost everything in the refrigerator. We later learned that if the filters are not replaced immediately the cooling shuts off. A little over a week ago and without filter replacement warnings, the refrigerator and freezer stopped working altogether. Again, we lost everything in the refrigerator and freezer. LG customer service was not helpful. We were told a repairman would contact us within 24 hours. 48 hours later my wife tracked down the repairman. I note it was not the repairmans fault. The repairman said the electrical operating panel, compressor and something other part were all bad and had to be replaced. Basically rebuilding the refrigerator. Repairman would order the parts. 6 days later we are still waiting. Using a dorm refrigerator from my office to keep milk cold for our two kids. LGs customer service has been totally inadequate and very disappointing.

I bought this LG Gas Slide In Stove Model LSG4511ST from Home Depot online
I bought this LG Gas Slide In Stove Model LSG4511ST from Home Depot online on Feb 17, 2018. Within a few weeks of barely using it all five burners on the stainless steel stove top were corroding with rust. We just spent a ton of money remodeling our kitchen and were excited to get our first and new Slide in Gas Stove. Well the nightmare began. We contacted Home Depot and they referred us to LG. Home Depot wouldn’t speak to us. We paid $1300 for the stove. After many calls, chats and emails to LG customer service and their executive office they replaced the entire SS stove top and all five burners after SIX months of hell with them. They didn’t show up, excuses, no response to emails, no call backs - HORRIBLE company. Then within a short time after they replaced parts it started corroding AGAIN around ALL FIVE burners. The calls, chats, emails to LG started again and this time they don’t respond at all. I tried Home Depot also and they will not take any responsibility. Nothing! I am sitting here with a defective ugly stove in the middle of our brand new kitchen. I am now forced to sue them. I filed a complain the US Bureau of Consumer Goods a month ago, was assigned a complaint number and “investigator” name and email and they don’t respond either. I have tons of documentation of this nightmare and photos. The icing on the cake is I wrote a review for the stove on www.homedepot.com and they “rejected” it. They didn’t want the public to know the truth about a product they sell!

I have Model WT1101CW LG washing machine and can say with total honesty that this is the worse machine I have ever owned. It goes out of balance so many times during the wash cycle that it takes hours to wash a load. It keeps filling with water to try to rebalance itself so it wastes water and ultimately we end up stopping it with the clothes still wet to dry them because it will not spin them out. We spent over $400 dollars on repairs already and it still doesnt work. UE, UE, UE I am so sick of that code. Dont buy this machine!!!

My washing machine is new. I have never had such a bad experience over a washing machine before in my life. Basically my washing machine is broken, its not working. I have had it for six weeks. They said they would send an engineer to look at it today. They apparently cancelled it and told lies. They said someone had been around. They had not. They lied someone cancelled. I spoke to a manager. He was rude and told me I had to maintain it first. A brand new product??? He was so rude. He said, Why dont you ring trading standards. Which I did. Both Currys where I brought and LG are passing the buck. Trading standards said they are breaking the Consumer Act of 2015. I have filed a complaint with Currys, LG and trading standards. I dont even want a product of theirs in my apartment after dealing with ignorant rude people in LG.

Purchased a new $2K+ LG refrigerator 4 years ago as part of an entire kitchen suite. The compressor (sealed system) failed, and while the labor wasnt covered under warranty, the parts to repair the refrigerator was covered. I had a LG certified technician make 5 separate visits trying to repair my refrigerator and it was never fixed. It simply will not cool anything in both the refrigerator and freezer. Thus, Ive had to go out and purchase a new refrigerator at my expense. Ive tried to go through the LG process whereby they would consider replacing or reimbursing my refrigerator. They have continued to deny my request, thus the reason Ive been forced to purchase a new refrigerator to replace my LG unit that was barely 4 years old. I will never purchase another LG appliance as they do not stand by their products.

We finally had to replace it, the service man cannot guarantee it if repaired the estimate for repair is $600.00 on top of $600.00 already spent. Purchased new refrigerator from RC Willey 18 months ago with our new house,
Purchased new refrigerator from RC Willey 18 months ago with our new house, have had an LG frontload washer and dryer for over 7 years without an issue. Fridge had great reviews and we really liked the door-in-door. Has worked flawlessly until yesterday. Found water all over the floor (luckily we found it quickly and cleaned it up, it would have eventually ruined our laminate floors (except I have not pulled out the fridge to check underneath). Checked with the manual and went through all the troubleshooting, nothing worked. Called customer service, and they quickly set-up a case number and scheduled a technician to come and see what is wrong. Had the service company call me the next day and confirm an appointment for the following day (Good so far, right? Except all of our frozen food is thawed. Luckily my wife is a florist and she has a floral cooler that we put our refrigerated items in). Two hours later the same person called back and said that they cant do the service call, they do not do LG warranty work. They would call LG and have them schedule someone else. Wanting to make sure that no-one dropped the ball, having no fridge/freezer is a major inconvenience, I called LG service back and asked if the cancellation had been taken care of and a new service company scheduled. It had not. The customer service person was apologetic and said that they needed to get an authorized service company scheduled to come service the refrigerator, because not all companies are equipped to handle cooling issues. Why wasnt this already figured into the request? The person also let me know that the service will hopefully get set up tomorrow (Friday 1/18/2019), and I should hear back next Monday or Tuesday. They gave me another case number. So I went back to the original text response I received from LG Customer Service, it indicated an authorized repair service located 68 miles away. Except I called them and they wont do any work on LG refrigerators without a work authorization code from LG. A cooling issue? They told me they arent equipped to work on LG cooling issues anyway. So then I started looking on-line to see if this was a common problem. Way too many nightmare customer service stories for an issue that is an obvious defect. I would not choose to be without a fridge/freezer for any length of time, and would want to replace it with another product quickly. Pretty disappointed in this product that was pretty expensive.

I was quite happy with my LG electric (glass-top, stainless steel) range until, this weekend, the oven simply stopped working. That means no broiler, no oven, no self-cleaning. Based on my description to our authorized LG repair outfit in my city, Im told its going to cost $195 ($220 with taxes) + $120 for the repair ($138 with taxes). Thats $358 total!! After spending well over $1000 only 3 years ago for this appliance, Im infuriated.I called another company in town that repairs LGs and they said that people are lucky if they last 5 years, and that most of the time, within 2 years there are issues. She actually said that their company recommends that people keep their old ranges as long as they can. I was flabbergasted. I cant afford a new range right now so Im going to get this thing repaired, but believe me, I will never buy an LG product again. I just hope the LG dishwasher and fridge I bought will last a longer. I have purchased an LG double door refrigerator about 2 years ago in 2010. Even not the full 2 years have passed, it has started giving cooling problem. Before two months ago I had made a complaint, though the technician has contacted me and visited my house within 48 hours. He said that it requires changing the gas pipe and refilling the gas and that could not be possibly done at home. The product will go to workshop of the company and after that, they have taken approximately a month just by saying the transport man is not there, so we are unable to meet your complaint. I have made calls for a hundred times to them. After it came from workshop, not even 25 days have passed, it has started giving the same problem. At this time when I had made a complaint, they are unable to say again if it is chargeable or not, no proper feedback. I am feeling like I have done a major mistake by purchasing an LG product.

7/17/2017 purchased a Sears Elite Stainless Steel side-by-side Grab and Go refrigerator model 51863. The product had the Sears brand but found it was made by LG for Sears. 8/8/2019 freezer and refrigerator sides were warm and melting. A Sears and a none Sears serviceman (2) came and diagnosed the problem to be the linear compressor which was made by LG had gone out. This was a new beautiful looking refrigerator just over over 2 years old. Paid $1751 for it and it would cost $1000.00 to repair. Wrote Sears Vice President of Customer Experience. Received a phone call from their Executive Complaint Department and spoke with a Debra (or Deborah) who after lengthy conversations told me that since I did not have an extended warranty, there was nothing they could do.I was livid. Researched and found hundreds of customers who has had this problem and also found there is a class action law suit pending awaiting to see if the courts would approve it. After the poor treatment from Sears, and after having read that some replaced compressors went out again, I opted to buy a none LG brand refrigerator. Spent total of $3000.00 here.3/9/2017 purchased an LG 65 smart TV from Sams Club. Model: 65UH615A for $1000.00. I have 4 other TVs, none of which are LG brands. The oldest TV is over 12 years old and I watch it the most and have had no problems with it or any of the others. 4/25/2020 the LG model went out. Yes, the TV that I have had just over 3 years! I get a black screen. Researched online and it appears the motherboard is shot. Have a call in to a repair person. WHAT is UP with these LG products? How disappointing is this. I really thought that LG was a good brand but my experience dictates otherwise. 2018 purchased an LG Stylo 4 from Sprint and am now having problem with this phone when I log it up. This phone is just over 2 years old. I am so very disappointed in the LG BRAND and will make no more purchases by LG. I also will not refer this product due to my bad experiences.

LG will not stand behind their product. I purchased this $1,595.81 refrigerator with an extended warranty 5 years ago. In all fairness the warranty expired 4 months ago but I found out from the repair man that this was a bad model that is no longer made by LG. There is a leak in the Sealed System which is built into the chassis. LG designed a poor product. I asked for some type (any type) of a credit toward a new refrigerator. Ive never had a refrigerator (with repairs) that lasted less than 20 years. A product that last 5 years is unacceptable. Especially if was due to poor design on LGs part. I currently also have an LG Microwave, Dishwasher. Bottom line is due to poor service they have lost a customer for life.

I have had customer service on the phone on a regular basis, which FINALLY led to them sending out several service persons, who knew NOTHING about the problem. The washer does not have enough water in the tub to even cover the clothes to be washed; I was told to use the “water plus” button to add extra water to the tub...it does nothing. Every load of my clothing being washed comes out with whitish/grey marks all over them, especially pants, workout clothes. And any fleece item washed is ruined by “scum” marks. I have complained continually, only to be told to run the “tub clean” every other week (which, by the way, is an empty tub that just washes the tub, but doesn’t really...). An incredible waste of water - especially for a washer that is supposed to conserve water. Next we were told to run the empty tub on “oxi sanitize” and add a jug of vinegar to the tub. That worked for about 3 loads. I would NEVER recommend this machine to anyone. My sister-in-law owned an LG for 29 days & turned it back in. Bring back the old tubs!! We are NOT saving any water with this machine!!!

LG is more reliable and durable than many other brands and offers me what I want. It has met my initial expectations but Im hoping for more in the future in all honesty. I like that there are premium capabilities that allow me to have different set ups and it makes me excited to be able to use the refrigerator everyday. I would want the refrigerator to be used well and have an ice machine that is quality. Some other brands may be a little bit more aesthetically attractive though in a sense.

I purchased a LG refrigerator 2 months ago and it already stopped working. Ice maker is not working, inside is at room temperature, all my food got wasted and when contacted LG support, the rep was soo rude and asked me to go to Best Buy (because I bought it from Best Buy) Even though its in warranty, nothing was done after being on the phone for hours until one rep said there will be a tech after 9 days. So I got a brand new fridge not working, wasted about $2800 on this fridge. LRFXS2503D. Tried emailing LG too, I wanted a replacement at this point because nothing is working in it as of now and I dont want repair on a brand new product.

Its always a name that is mentioned while searching for equipment. The look and the space it left us once installation. We love our new LG refrigerator! Weve had it for a couple of weeks and are beyond pleased. We love the all of the space and especially having two ice makers. But LG is the currently the poorest product on the market. Stay away! I bought my LG just 2 yrs old, gone thru 3 compressor failures, 4 loads of groceries tossed out and zero care from outsourced customer service team.

Then you get 90 day warranty on the repair.....Great!. Now its a drop more than 90 days and guess what? It died again. Customer service referred me to support in Philippines where 2 agents told me they had limited internet and could not access parts I needed. Back to customer support who told me they no longer had an owners manual and gave me the number of an authorized service agent (Service on Site Long Island) who said he was no longer in the area and working for LG in California. When I expressed my frustration he asked me not to involve him... SO, frig falling apart, no manual, no customer support. I do not recommend LG products.

I purchased an LG gas range at our local Sears store thinking that it looked great in the photos. What a disappointment to spend over $1300 on this poorly engineered product! The control knobs cracked and became loose immediately. The customer service was a joke, just like the commercial on TV where the man (Peggy) from Siberia answers. Calls got dropped etc. New knobs with the same poor design cost $40.00 each! I did not replace them. I used glue and nylon ties to hold them on. The flames are all uneven and the metal covers are de-laminating. The knobs now are peeling from heat. I have decided not to buy any more LG products. It’s the only way to fight back obsolescence.

The washing was quiet soft. When it starts spinning dry, the motor roars like a 2-stroke motorcycle engine: really disappointed with our buy as we wanted to wash our clothes when we are sleeping. This is our 2nd LG dryer same model in 40 days. The same problem has occurred with each one. Dry cuts off and will not cut back on. We purchased it from our local Home Depot which have done everything they can to make right what LG has not. LG should be shut down for making lousy products that fail to work. I feel like the Better Business Bureau should be involved and shut down this company from taking innocent consumers money. My husband and I have missed 3 days from work to meet A&E repair company to work on our dryer. If it werent for the manager at Home Depot, we would have no one to talk with since LG doesnt give a rip. Why does Home Depot continue to carry such a horrible product line? Bought LGs top end fridge in 2011. Had multiple issues with ice maker working, compressor within the first year. The LG technician ruined our wood floor and left dents all over it, which LG has paid for refinishing. Weve put up with not having enough ice from the beginning. BUT, this past weekend the ice maker quit, then the rest of the fridge stopped working. Had to throw out tons of food. This was on a Saturday night, 7/20. We bought an extended warranty. Weve gone through the proper channels and the contracted repair company cannot come to look at the fridge until 7/30. I have to wait 10 days for service and be without a refrigerator. That is unacceptable! Shame on LG for charging huge fees for crappy products. Shame on Nebraska Furniture Mart for selling extended contracts to sub par repair companies that treat a warranty like a welfare recipient. Shame on Mega Performance, the extended warranty provider and shame on Mr. Appliance in Overland Park, KS. Today is 7/22 and we are trying to figure out a plan and get this resolved, quickly. Customer service is lacking horribly in this country. People need to step up and be accountable and do the right thing.

We purchased an LG Gas Range for our new house in 2017. It was fine for a while with the exception that the last knob on the highest burner would go on with the slight touch or just rubbing by it slowly. This we had to be very careful of. The oven never seemed to be able to be adjusted to the proper temperature and I always had to add time to cooking. Then it decided to throw me F9s. We did everything we could to fix this problem but it would run right for one time and then be back to a F9 after heating to 110. I bought a new LG WT7900 Washer (their top-of-the-line top-load machine) in May 2020 (3 months ago). The direct-drive motor now makes a very loud grinding noise (even though the motor has a 10-yr warranty). Ive since learned that this is a common issue thats been going on for nearly a year. I called the LG 800# found in the Owners Manual. They scheduled a repair appointment with their third-party repair service (A&E Factory Service, which also goes by the name Sears Appliance Repair... really????). I took the first-available a.m. appointment, thinking thatd increase my chances of them actually showing up.My Service appointment was scheduled for 7am-11am today (Aug 8, 2020). You guessed it... NO ONE showed up, or even bothered to contact me (other than a confirmation text I got yesterday). So I called their 800#, and was on hold an HOUR before getting a live person (guessing lots of people are having similar experiences since their phone lines are so busy??). When I finally get someone, he says he needs to put me on hold while he investigates the issue. But after being on hold another 10 minutes, the line disconnected. So now I have a brand new LG Washing Machine that doesnt work, and LG is taking no responsibility to fix it or replace it.

I purchased an LG refrigerator from Best Buy and it is three years old. I live in Santa Fe New Mexico and it turns out there are no authorized service people here. I called LG directly and they referred me to people who said they would not even look at an LG refrigerator and wished me luck. After 7 phone calls they advised me to find a service person who would work on it and they would authorize them. I found someone and when they called to get the information LG would not give it to them. I called to get the information how to safely remove the ice and water dispenser to check the control board and they refused to give it to me. I then requested to speak to a supervisor and was told one would call me back the next day. A week has gone by and no call. I would say their customer service is the worst I have ever experienced and that is supported by talking to a half dozen repair people in Northern NM who refuse to work on any LG products because they are complicated and there is no support from LG. This is an expensive lesson. A $3000 refrigerator is on the way to the dump after 3 years.

Our front load LG washer began giving us problems 8 months from purchase. I called LG twice and they recommended unplugging the unit to reset the computer. The machine would work after waiting 6-8 hrs. Eventually, that did not work and repair was needed. The repair men discover two tears in the rubber gasket that were caused by metal clips below that had 1) sharp edges and 2) placed too near the gasket. Over the year of use, the tears occurred and dripped onto the thermistor. It was a manufacturing/quality issue, even supported by the repair man and discussed with their technician at LG who agreed and took notes. LG refused to pay for the repair because it was outside the warranty period. They were disrespectful on the phone and emailing exchange kept sticking to company line of outside the warranty period. Good companies stick by their workmanship. I believe they can make good machines. Mine was a lemon and they couldnt care less.

We bought our refrigerator as an appliance set with stove and dishwasher on 4/24/2014. The model #LFX32945ST, our delivery date was 6/20/14. We did not buy extended warranty at that time. It began to slowly breakdown Nov. 2016. First the ice started to melt down onto floor, then everything in my refrigerator began to go bad then finally everything in my freezer started defrosting. I had to buy bags of 40 lb bags of ice, put everything in 3 coolers to stop from going bad. We had to go out to eat diner everyday. LG offered an extended warranty for $463.00 one repair visit including parts and extended for 1 year for one more breakdown. They said if they could not repair they would give us depreciated value of the refrigerator. Dependable Appliances who was contracted by LG to do the repairs came to my house 11/16/16. When the appliance repair man came to my house after waiting 5 days for his arrival he didnt even look at the back of the refrigerator. He told me since it is just over 2 years old and nothing is working in the refrigerator it really should be replaced. He told me he would put that in my report that I needed a replacement and it could not be repaired. After waiting 3 days for them to call me I decided to call Dependable to find out that no replacement was coming and that they were ordering a part. They could not tell me when it would come in. Three days before Thanksgiving we decided to cancel the warranty and just buy a new refrigerator after reading nightmare scenarios online and on BBB. I pray that my LG dishwasher and stove to crash also. Keeping my fingers crossed. Never again.

I have an LG front load. It does not have an option to add more water and there is never any extra water in it other than what is on the clothes. As a result I have to wet the clothes down before I start the cycle and do a “rinse and spin” at the end of a full wash as the “extra rinse” does not utilize enough water to justify the electricity being used but the rinse and spin seems to have residual water in the drum. Even with minimal soap and fabric softener or using vinegar in the mid cycle the clothes still come out with a chemical smell to them. Yes I clean the machine regularly as it also has a problem with getting smelly quickly. They email you videos to watch on how to clean your machine. Finally after I lost my temper they set up an appointment for a tech to come out. We will see what happens. This leak is substantial and has caused major water damage and possibly mold to the walls and floor. Has destroyed the item stored within 6 feet of the washer. Purchased the largest 110v LG Window Air Conditioner at Home Depot on Janua
Purchased the largest 110v LG Window Air Conditioner at Home Depot on January 9th 2013. On May 26th the Unit started freezing up. Contacted LG, it took 16 days to get a technician out to diagnose, then 4 days to wait for a new Condenser. 2 weeks later the unit froze up again. Called LG whom sent out the same Technician the next day and he stated it was low on refrigerant. This is a sealed unit that was ice cold on the day of the first repair, but he stated it was not fully charged, so he charged it. Three weeks later the unit froze again. LG stated they would send the same Technician the next day for a third attempt, and that if it could not be resolved they would then replace the unit. I was told the appointment time would be between 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. but after having left work early my wife waited there all day for nothing. The technician never called or showed. At 6:05 p.m. I called LG who stated not to worry he would be there some time that night. At 8:15 he showed up. I was there for this visit. I am a 30 year GM Technician and hold both ASE, Robin Aire, IMACA and GM A/C certifications. I watched the technician hook a gauge to the unit and the readings with the unit on was 60psi on the low side. They do not use a high side. The needle never waivered, yet the evaporator was frozen as were the lines leading toward the compressor. He claimed that the evaporator must be clogged. I replied it had been professionally cleaned the first time it froze up in May even though it was only 5 months old. He was adamant the unit could not breathe, so we took the unit outside and with a flashlight removed the evaporator and flushed the unit with a hose and found no debris, no mold, no dirt, nothing restricting the cooling fins. The water was clear and went straight through front to back and top to bottom. This stumped and confused the technician who claimed he did not know what was wrong. We reinstalled the unit and turned it back on and watched it start to freeze again the exact same way. I stated that where the freeze point ended had to be the point of an internal restriction debris, etc. and he stated that it must be a free floating internal restriction but had no idea how to fix it. So he wrote a note saying the system was fully charged and cleaned and he found nothing wrong. I was left with an A/C unit that still does not cool and freezes up. I called LG today, they had previously told me that after three repair attempts they would replace the unit. However today, they stated they would send a different technician who could give a different opinion, then they would consider replacing the unit. I was extremely upset and was beside myself with anger. First I was lied to about the time of the appointment, then I was lied to about third time repair attempt and they would replace my unit. Now I am expected to lose more time at work to be there for another repair attempt when they have failed in the last three to make a repair. There must be another way to resolve this short of buying another unit. I have a three year replacement plan with Home Depot but it does not start until after the year is up and that is still 4 months away, and in the heat of Florida I will not last 4 months with out A/C. This is unacceptable and should not be the way a company treats their customers. I will never buy another LG product and will pursue this until I get some type of resolution, I am just not sure what or when that may be.

We just purchased an LG kitchen package including the glass top electric LG range with knobs on the front (LSE4613/LSE4611) and had it delivered on 7/11/20. We have had it in our home for one week and weve accidentally turned the front knobs on multiple times by reaching into the microwave, cleaning the back splash, or reaching above into a cabinet. The knobs should not be that easy to turn. They are a push and turn style knob. We went back to the store to begin an exchange process for a model with the knobs in the back, but we are very disappointed because we like the appearance of this style much better. We are shocked by how easy it is to turn these knobs and really dont want to have to resort to ugly child proofing on our brand new appliances. Is there a better option?

Called Oct 16, service person Patrick did nothing, though thought he was scheduling service. Called Oct 18. Regine scheduled service Oct 21st, first available.

LG Front Loader Washer Model: WM3170CW. Purchased this washer from Lowes. After the first wash, the inside seal was giving off a smell. So paranoid about this, I made sure to wipe the inside door glass, seal after every wash. This unit leaves water in the soap tray after every wash, so I take out the tray and drain it and allow that to dry. I also have to get down and open the door with the drain tube. I drain out all the water that is - I guess - still inside the washer?! A lot of water comes out. This washer is a major pain. After continuing to do ALL of this after every use - my washer smells horribly musty and moldy. Totally unacceptable. I have put cleaning tablets in it - and even run bleach through it on the clean cycle. Still smells. This washer is a lemon. Do not purchase it. I deserve a new washer - but a different model! I expected this to be a good washer - being an LG. They used to have a good reputation. I paid $750.00 for this washer.

My husband and I bought a house with a LG range already present in the house. After using the convection oven for about ten months I noticed blue specks in our food. I investigated the inside of the oven to discover the blue enamel was peeling. I called a repair company who called LG, they requested pictures be sent of the oven. LG said they would provide a partial refund if we could produce a receipt for the range since it was out of warranty and irreparable. We can not produce such document because it came with the house. I demanded to know if the paint we digested was toxic, the customer service rep said he would find out, but would not pay for the stove.Another week (three now) went by, I have a recorded message from another customer service rep stating they will not pay for the range and also could not tell us if the paint was toxic for another MONTH!!! Because it was made in Korea!!! If the paint is toxic, we will be dead in another month I guess. Any product used for cooking, peeling paint containing unknown substances from Korea MUST be recalled!!! LG may refuse to replace my range because I dont have a receipt, but they should at least offer to pay medical bills for blood testing of the four people whom ate the unknown substance in their Korean enamel.I wanted to help others avoid this same trauma so I took to Facebook, where LG accused me of spamming and blocked me from their page to hide this toxic secret. I also still have this message saved to my phone. Like every other complaint on this site, I am sure they will say they take pride in their product and refer me to the website. The fact is the website, the company, customer service, no one knows or cares what we ingested and until this is fixed this product needs to be taken off the market.

Purchased French door refrigerator model #LFC20745ST in April 2010. After two years the plastic latch at the top of the door broke off. After contacting my repairman he advised me he could not repair the latch as he was barred from buying replacement parts. All attempts to have the matter resolved ended in a dead end with their customer service department. After several inquiries I was made aware that I could purchase the part from their certified parts distributor. I purchased the part and my repairman was able to install it. Unfortunately it is now 2 years later and the same part has broken. Apparently their products are not designed for long term use. Their initial stands for LG - this must mean LOUSY GOODS. I would not recommend their products to anyone and I will never purchase their products.

I purchased the refrigerator from HH Gregg and within a week or two, we were waking up to water on the floor and ice in the freezer on everything. Also the seal was frozen and the fridge was not keeping the food cold. LG sent out a repairman who was the first of many to tell us LG has a problem with their refrigerators and cant seem to fix it. They have so far replaced left hand refrigerator door 3 or 4 times, also fixed a few other things which did not last. They keep wanting to send out repair guys which means someone has to be here for a 6hr window for him to make it. My time is more valuable to me than that. Thank God HH Gregg is trying to do a buy back so I can get a unit that actually works right. Thank God for honest business that helps the customer.

Sears would offer no help whatsoever, and said the rust is not covered. NEVER buying an LG, NEVER shopping at Sears ever again. We purchased our LG Refrigerator for several thousand dollars six years ago. It had a five year warranty. After five years, the area below the ice maker and water dispenser became rusted. When we called the company, they told us that was for decorative purposes. After the five year warranty expired, the piece between the french doors is broken, so it does not close properly. Now today, we woke up to realize that the freezer and fridge have randomly stopped working for no reason. We needed to throw out hundreds of dollars worth of food in our freezer yesterday and will be shopping for a new fridge. I would not advise ANYONE to purchase anything from LG.

When my wife and I purchased our LG washer and dryer from Best Buy in highland, Indiana, our sales rep informed us that installers could switch latch and hinge side of doors upon delivery. When our machines were delivered, installer was able to give us a left side hinge, as we desired on our dryer. However, we were informed that washer was not so adaptable. We would need to wait up to two weeks for the correct machine to be delivered. When I contacted Best Buy, they would accept no responsibility for their sales agent giving us incorrect information. After using machines as is for some time now, it is really inconvenient to use with left hinges on both machines. If you choose to ignore this message, you can bet we will never purchase any LG products, and we will not shop at Best Buy in the future. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Horrendous Experience! On 7/13 I reported that twenty expensive Brooks Brothers non-iron shirts were destroyed due to the fault of the lint filter of this dryer. The shape of the filter was not manufactured properly and did not remain in place. As a result, pockets, sleeves, button holes and collars of twenty shirts in a load were ruined. I immediately contacted LG customer service and spoke to someone about this event. They offered to mail a new lint catch and then said that I would have to complete a full report of the incident. A follow up email arrived to me with a claim form that I submitted on 7/20.I completed the form in full and also took detailed photos of every shirt and the damage caused. I had heard nothing back at all for two months until on 9/3 when I began to submit daily written complaints via the LG website complaint portal. Finally on 10/5, another representative contacted me via e-mail and asked me to once again forward my claim for and all of the photos of the damage. After review, the representative said that the most they would offer was a reimbursement of $250.00. I sent examples of the current value from the Brooks Brothers website, segregated the shirts for physical inspection and was informed that I would need the original receipt for each one in order for the reimbursement to be reconsidered.A collection of twenty shirts bought over a series of time that were not defective prior to their placement in this dryer would have had no reason to have receipts available. I offered to have them viewed in person and made between 3-4 photos of each shirt as described, showing their tags and damage! Brooks Brothers shirts are quality and time tested to last because they are made properly; quite unlike this dryer! I have yet to get any response to my dissatisfaction for this companys resolution. I did, however, receive this e-mail from 12/21 that had the gall to offer me $500.00 for having completed this survey. My loss of value due to the shirt damage was in excess of $2800.00!! This company has a terrible amount of nerve and complete lack of concern for the customer experience as a whole. This dryer is an abomination and I am sorry that I ever decided to purchase it. Your company should be ashamed of itself for all of the aggravation that I have been put through for this incident...never mind the financial loss!

This is a beautiful, very large washer. Had great reviews and ratings in consumer magazines, etc. For 10 months or so it functioned well, handling large quantities of laundry, including towels and bedding. Then nearing the 1 year mark, the UE symbol, meaning it cant spin out the water from your clothing was a regular occurrence. I was told to use the tub clean cycle. It may have helped it balance for a few uneventful loads. But it was short lived. If you like standing over the top of a washer watching to see if it will spin, etc., but seeing it add 20 or more minutes over and over, then this is the one for you. A big disappointment.Updated on 1/23/2017: Whenever I have called LG about the frequent (Out of balance) issue they always say run the tub clean cycle, which I suppose tries to re-balance or reset without any clothes in it. It even get off balance empty!! Why does this washer get such good reviews in consumer reports, etc.

Okay as I was cleaning out the drawers, shelves and inside of my refrigerator for the third time. I purchased it from HHGregg on 11/30/2015. I decided I needed to let others know about this refrigerator so they wouldnt have to go through the same thing. Thankfully I purchased the extended service plan. We replaced the main board on July of 2018 and then the compressor went out on 1/14/2019. I am currently cleaning out the refrigerator again a year later because it quit cooling once again. Luckily, we have another refrigerator in our basement we can transfer all the food to. We have had that refrigerator for over 18 years and have never had a problem. It is a Whirlpool. We have a company coming out on Monday, two weeks from when I put in the order to fix it again. I do not recommend this refrigerator to anyone.

If I could give this washer 0 stars out of 5 I would. I bought the washer in January of 2018. I used it for about 2 weeks when it started banging and sounded like it was going to come through the floor. I called LG and they sent out a service tech to come look at it. The balance bar was broken and numerous other parts had to be replaced, and of course one was on back order. We finally got it fixed after almost 3 weeks of it being broken. Now we are in April of 2018. The washer starts to shake again & make the same noises as before, only this time I have leaking all over my floor. I call LG again to see what can be done. I talked to 3 different people, was on hold for almost 2 hours, the last person being a manager who was rude, and very unhelpful. I ended up scheduling another person to come out to diagnose the washer, of course a week and a half out. The technician comes to diagnose the washer on a Monday, I dont hear anything back from them and on Wednesday I get a text from LG saying I have a repair order for yet ANOTHER appliance repair company. I call to see what is going on and LG states that the first appliance company said the job was too big for them and their company is not able to do it (this was a company that LG hired). They hired another appliance company and again, they are more than a week out with scheduling. After talking again to LG they are not scheduled to come FIX it, but to diagnose it. This is after I talked to the first appliance repair company and having them tell me that the washer needs to be completely rebuilt and that the LG engineering department told them that there is over $500 worth of just parts. At the end of my phone call I asked to speak with someone higher up, and they stated someone would call me in 24 to 48 hours, and of course 24-48 hours later, no phone call. I am BEYOND frustrated with LG. I have been without a washer for longer than I have actually used mine. I would NEVER buy this washer again, let alone another appliance from LG. Their customer service is terrible and it has been a highly disappointing experience dealing with LG.

It also cools a lot better than most refrigerators and it is energy star saving as well. I love the fact that I had that three drawer space and also that it has open this technology to allow someone to look inside the refrigerator without opening it. Theres nothing I dislike about it except that it needs a little bit more space in the freezer portion. I bought my fridge in 2017 and the compressor died in 2021. They came to repaired 4 days after because the technician was nice enough to move my appt earlier, they told me that they could gave me food compensation. I called them after the fridge was repaired and first the way that the customer service handle this cases are terrible, LG subcontract this phone calls to another country I would say INDIA and is very hard to understand them, then they start this process with text messages with questions and I just got one text, I never got the following question. I called them several times and the last time I called the customer service helped me, she never advised that she was going to send this claim manually. She told me that somebody would contact me to see if I was agree with the food compensation, next thing I know I received $100 check in the mail for a whole fridge food loss, I called them and I spoke with the supervisor Ann, she was very rude and reiterated times told me that my warranty expired and LG was nice enough to repair my fridge and they don’t do food losses that they sent me $100 dollar check because they were nice, she told me that there is nothing I can do because the check was issued. They never told me that if an agent do this manually automatically they issued $100 and don’t review my case just send $100. Be aware. Never submit your food loss claim manually. They will send you $100 check. They kept telling me that LG don’t send food losses claim. That if they sent me money is because they were nice and because I have my fridge bad for 5 days $100 was enough. I lost a full fridge and what it hurts me the most I lost 100 bags of breastmilk for my baby because of this. I can’t believe they got to decide how much they can give and they don’t live even in U.S. They told me that there is nothing I can do and LG won’t send more. We purchased all new kitchen appliances just over 2 yrs ago in Dec 2013. 1st the microwave was delivered dented. They came in and ordered replacement parts which were delivered dented not once, not 2x, not 3x, but 4 times. Then the fridge/freezer stopped making ice, needed a part replaced. The range/oven door glass was developing uncleanable stains in between the front of the door and the inside of the door. Then the oven door started to have a weak seal causing the top of the door to become dangerously hot. My legs were burnt a couple of times when removing items from oven. The door was replaced. The dishwasher stopped working because of a clogged hose. After calling LG for help many times! They sent a tech. And the parts and labor were covered although out of warranty. 2 days later another part went on the dishwasher and again is not working. 1 day after the microwave is not working either!!! Seriously? I cant tell you how many phone calls it has taken to get some positive response from LG. Call after call there was always a reason why they could not help me at that moment and asked that I call back. The customer service is awful! I spoke with several hours, kept me on the phone from 15 to 20 min at a time and half the time they would not even record or take notes of the call! I have missed work and sleep over this and all they can say is we are sorry for the inconvenience. They have no clue. I want these appliances gone! And replaced with another brand. Purchased the LG Direct drive dishwasher. Stainless steel with all the bells and whistles. 1 year after purchase, I received an error code on the machine, stating its retaining water/moisture. Called LG Customer service provider. They walked me through the steps to fix this issue. Two weeks after this issue the machine made some very loud noises, along with showing another code. This time it was the motor that had gone out on it. I was told I needed to send receipt, as I refused to pay for service. Keep in mind it had water issues already. So I sent the receipt, and they fought me, along with denying my claim. It didnt stop there. I finally got someone out here from LG to fix for free, after a lot of time on the phone, and no use of dishwasher for 2 weeks. The repair man came out. He was very rude. Along with tipping dishwasher and spilling water all over new floor.Well my problems did not stop there. Its only been 2 weeks since fixed, and its showing the error code for water /moisture again. Little did we know the first error code was leaking water under my new floor. Ive called LG Customer service again and got the run around. The service rep also told me this is a known fact about the machine, and there have been issues with it. Its been 3 days and no one has reached out. But heres the worst part of all this. My floor has now been tore up, and restoration has come out due to the known issues, and all the water that has leaked out under my floor. My LG refrigerator started making a different sound about 3 months ago. Now, my LG refrigerators compressor died at 3.5 years old, with all of the contents spoiled and lost. Its been going on 2 weeks to get LGs attention on this matter. This is so un-American to have a refrigerator manufacturer NOT back up their product! Model LFXS27466S. My service technician is all ready to repair it, but processing the authorization letter from LG is stagnant. It appears that obstructing progress with excuses is common from LG, making consumers so frustrated that they give up.My refrigerator is not one of the 60 models mentioned in the class action lawsuit settlement regarding LGs refrigerator issues, but it suffered the same demise. Paul, my service technician mentioned that LGs faulty design causes undue and uneven pressures inside the split-coil system that ultimately ruins the compressor prematurely. $650 labor, $325 parts, $400 in lost/spoiled food from fridge and freezer. Still waiting for a repair. Very disappointed in LG refrigerators, their repair process and support.

Gas knobs on my LG 30 freestanding gas convection range (model number LRG3097ST) have malfunctioned twice; each time, theyre causing gas leaks. When my husband called, we got 4 replacement knobs with the identical issue. The issue is the plastic inserts - they break and they continue to break. This is a known issue! In my humble opinion, there should have been a recall issued a while ago on this; and you dont have to be a NASA rocket scientist to figure that out. I looked at the complaints the customers have made against the LG line, and its been going strong since 2009. I am not sure what the Consumer Protection Board is waiting on. But Im hoping to at least use this venue to get the message out. The rest of the oven works wonderfully, but the gas leak from those knobs should be addressed, and if not by LG, at least by our own Consumer Protection Board.

In September 2011, we purchased an LG gas range. Within a month, we requested a service call because two of the top burners did not operate correctly. Five months since purchase, we now have total failure of the oven (doesnt come on at all) and when it did previously work, the convention option for the oven worked erratic. I still have trouble with two top burners. The grill does not get hot enough to cook a pancake. The largest burner goes out of control with huge flames (scary)! Service person was out two weeks ago and we were informed that replacement parts were not presently available and we will be contacted later. I called again to launch a complaint. I was then told we would receive a call back later that day to report the status of our claim. No call was received.I am a caregiver to an Alzheimer patient who also is diabetic. I have special foods to prepare on this new, pretty stove that doesnt work well enough to prepare a decent meal. I am severely limited in my ability to provide nutritional care for my family member. And, yes, Im angry about the situation. My range cost $1,232 and for that expense I get a bag of trouble and face a company that will not yet (after five months) stand behind the unit to properly repair or replace it.

I have purchased several LG kitchen appliances. The overall quality is good
I have purchased several LG kitchen appliances. The overall quality is good, lots of convenience features and pleasant appearance. When they are working they are great. However if you ever need LG repair service have patience. They are the worst for scheduling your service and even worst still to actually get a technician to your appliance. This means that you are without the use of your appliance for up to 90 days or longer. Also the appliances are expensive and the warranty is only 1 year, which is standard and really burns me. When you spend nearly $2000 for an electric stove and the manufacturer only puts a 1 year warranty on it, that says something about how it was made and the level of confidence the manufacturer has in their product. I prefer American made products but sadly there aren’t many major appliances that are American made anymore.

We have had a LG DLEX3001W Ultra Capacity Dryer and a WM3001HWA Ultra Washe
We have had a LG DLEX3001W Ultra Capacity Dryer and a WM3001HWA Ultra Washer for the past 4 years. Unlike the Wash Machine which is another story the Dryer has been a pretty decent appliance overall. We have although have had one consistent annoying issue that we have been experiencing and it is clothes being wet or very damp after a drying cycle. We did the normal cleaning of the lint filter and what we could visibly clean out of the lint filter cavity. Eventually this method of cleaning was no longer fixing the problem. I will note that we have a very short vent run to the outside which is always checked and is clean. So what we did was remove the lint screen and then took our vacuum cleaner with a small crevice attachment and cleaned out the lower lint cavity. We then reversed our vacuum hose to the blow side and placed the attachment into the lint cavity and wrapped it with a towel to prevent air leakage and then proceeded to blow air into the lint cavity. To our surprise there was quite a bit of lint that was forced through to the outside vent that we could not see in the lint cavity. From what we can figure it appears lint can become stuck along the exit path in the dryer and needs to be forced out. Once we cleaned out the lint cavity to the outside drying returned to normal. Hope this helps and prevents an unnecessary repair call and charges. It would be nice if Lg would add some information on this issue through their website to assist consumers.

I purchased the WT5101HW washing machine in September 2011. Within the first few months the door would not latch shut to operate. Fixed under warranty. Then there was the recall for extreme shaking. February 2015 the drain pump needed replacement to the tune of $350 for parts and labor. Now in March 2016 the machine refuses to balance, even when empty. Balanced loads have been a nightmare since the beginning and have gotten progressively worse. My machine goes off balance on every single load whether it is small, large or normal. Today is the final straw as it will not complete the spin cycle, even empty, to fully drain the machine. It just keeps dumping more water in to redistribute the load (even though the machine is currently empty). Its going to the curb and Im going back to Maytag. I will never buy an LG washing machine again.

****Buyer Beware**** Please do not ever buy an LG Appliance! Their 10 Year
****Buyer Beware**** Please do not ever buy an LG Appliance! Their 10 Year Warranty isnt worth the paper it is printed on. Our dryer stopped heating after purchased new July 2017. Customer service is absolutely deplorable, with hour long wait after talking to someone about the problem, flat out lies, being given the runaround, promising service appointments and no one shows. Being told LG was in negotiations with a repair vendor in my area and that we should receive a call back within the week. That was 7 days ago. No one called.Called back - another hour of being on hold. Then being told that the 1st service center declined our service appointment so it was being escalated to their 2nd service center. Why was my service declined? No one can say, but supposedly/hopefully the 2nd service center can accomplish what the 1st service center was unable to do - schedule a service appointment. Oh yea, I should receive a call back in 3-5 days from the 2nd service center. After 2 1/2 weeks of the runaround and lies from LG, I am done trying to have the dryer repaired under warranty. I am biting the bullet and calling a repair service to repair my 9-10 month old dryer out of my own pocket. I also would like to note that our case is not an isolated one. A google search will reveal several horror stories identical to mine! Dryer stopped heating and a completely worthless LG customer service experience.
