Over the last couple of weeks, I noticed tiny amounts of water at the bottom corner edge of my refrigerator (RF28HFEDTSR), right underneath the pull out drawer for the freezer. Thought it was just an ice cube that had found its way under the refrigerator and melted. This morning, I noticed the edges of my hardwood floors buckling up. Discovered water leaking from the top of the refrigerator that must have been seeping into the floor. Turned off ice maker and turned off water to refrigerator. Water still leaking from the top. Ive had to replace the towel twice within a two hour period. From what Ive read online, this is a very common problem with no real fix. Samsung, step up and do the right thing. Your product is defective. This refrigerator is less than 2 years old!

Updated on 09/25/2020: Horrible, horrible product. After 2 replacement units, it is still not working properly. More freezer frost than a 1949 Admiral freezer. Not frost-free! I give up!! No more Samsung for me!! Beware! Beware!Original Review: Samsung Refrigerator Freezer Purchase. Location: Home Depot, 7740 Craft Goodman Rd, Olive Branch, MS 38654. Date/Time: 02/24/2020, 1:36 PM. I bought this Samsung RS277ACPN side by side fridge in 2009 at Lowes. A year after the purchase (just couple of months after the warranty expired), the ice maker didnt work, it cost me around $250 to fix the problem. Lately, 30 months after the purchase, the fridge fan motor does not work. The Carter service couldnt repair it due to the evap fan motor part Samsung listed for this model does not fit my fridge when the part arrives. The service man had dealt with Samsung two times for the reorder of the part, and the part still does not fit. So, evap fan motor part no. DA31-00146E is supposed to be the right part, but the actual thing does not match the original motor fan in my fridge. A month went by and my fridge is making a lawn mower noise off and on. The ice is piled up at the bottom of the vegetable drawer. My fridge is not repairable because Samsung does not have the correct part and no one bothers to correct it. No more Samsung appliance next time.

I have had my Samsung 9187 for about 4 years and yesterday the thing just kept beeping and then finally displayed the dreaded SE code. After some quick googling, I found a site which offered a solution. I just finished it up and the microwave works again like new. So here it is: Over time, condensation will make two pieces of the ribbon cable stuck together, causing short circuit. The solution is to separate the pieces and put a piece of paper in between. First you need to access the control panel by unscrewing the top grill of the microwave. After removing the top grill, you will see a screw holding the control panel to the oven. Just unscrew that one and remove the control panel. You will then see the ribbon cable. Inspect whether it is folded and the two sides are stuck. If yes, just separate them and put a piece of paper in-between. Its really that simple, put the paper between the two sides of the ribbon found inside the control panel. Hope this helps.

We bought a Samsung side-by-side RS257BARB from Best Buy about six years ago and paid close to $1,300. A couple of days ago, we noticed the freezer was not cold; then yesterday, the fridge side was not cold either. I had a live internet chat with a Samsung rep to no avail. Their authorized repair service center is 35 miles away. I had no choice but to call a local appliance repair service technician to come and take a look. He examined the fridge and told me the compressor went dead and it would cost $800 just for the part alone, might as well get a new fridge. I am very disappointed with this verdict as I hope it would be a minor fix for such a pricey appliance. I remember when we were growing up we had a GE fridge that lasted over twenty some years. The fridges nowadays look great on the outside, but they dont last and customer support is practically nonexistent.

Purchased this refrigerator (Model RS 22HDHPNSR/AA) 2nd week of June 2015. Looking at past reviews for the same issue we have it looks like the issue has never been addressed by Samsung. First call to CS met with a very good, polite agent that handled the phone call with real professionalism. Explained that the ice maker was not making ice now after 4 weeks. He explained how to reset the ice maker and if no ice within 24 hrs. then call back and they will send a tech out. This was Friday at 7 pm so he told me to call back tomorrow (Saturday) around 7 pm to report results. Well after 24 hours, no ice, so I pick up the phone to call back and explain, Still no ice. Youre not going to believe what time they close on Saturday -- 6 pm!!! Well lets see what they say when I call back on Monday.

I bought this fridge in 2014 and one for my parents shortly after. For the first 2 years they both worked great. The last 2 years not so much. My parents unit ice machine has been replaced twice due to it freezing up and not working. I fortunately have not had that problem with the ice machine. The freezer and middle drawer of the fridge work great and maintain temperature without issue. The main section of the refrigerator does a very poor job of keep food cold. I discovered the fan that is supposed to circulate the air was not working. Samsung wanting to charge some crazy amount of money just to come troubleshoot it so I tore it apart myself. In the back of the fridge the cooling coil was frozen over and caused the fan to burn out. After thawing the fridge and replacing the fan it worked for a few months but subsequently froze again. Replacing this fan every few months seem very silly and now I regularly have to tear the fridge apart and thaw the coil to ensure it doesn’t burn out the motor. The last 6 months I have noticed that even when the fan is working the fridge does not stay cold anymore. The door reads 34 degrees but in the fridge it is anywhere from 40 to 60 degrees and any given time. It is a shame that 2 refrigerators that cost nearly $3000 dont work after less than 4 years. I will never buy a Samsung refrigerator again. Both units are nothing but JUNK now!!! Now we have to decide if we want to continue to throw items away when it decides it doesn’t want to keep food cold or buy another $3000 fridge. Very disappointed.

This review doesn’t even deserve a star. I wish you could give 0 stars. I will never buy anything Samsung again due to my experience with this fridge. Barely 3 years old and paying over $3k for the model... The refrigerator portion froze up and no longer worked. They sent theirs Samsung repair person to fix it. Said he took care of it and a one week later... It froze up and no longer worked. It is a giant piece of garbage. Now after calling them to get help they said they don’t have a repair person to help us. We now have to pay almost $600 to repair this fridge that is less than 3 years old and the parts are coming from China and are on back order. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE.

Samsung refrigerator RF26X Series Model # RF26XAERS. My wife and I purchased a 26 cu ft Samsung refrigerator french door freezer on the bottom on October 12, 2011. We spent over $3,000 on Friday December 16th, 2016 the freezer & ice maker quit working at the same time. I contacted Samsung about the matter and I was informed that my warranty was expired, the refrigerator came with a 12 month warranty then we added a five-year warranty on top of that. Question is how can it be expired? Its only been 5 years total including the original 12 months that came with the purchase. I would like a full refund. Please dont buy anything from Samsung. Youve been warned.

I bought the Samsung french door refrigerator which was not inexpensive but I thought it would be worth the money. As soon as the warranty was out, it started to make a really loud noise. Apparently, frost builds up behind a panel that I cannot access and the circulation fan hits the ice. I have had a repairman out twice. Samsung says to unplug it for 5 hours and let the Ice melt. I have to do this every 5 days. Sadly, this is junk and I am probably going to have to get a new refrigerator after only three years. If there was a lower review that one star, I would give it.

We bought a beautiful looking RF30HBEDBSSR/AA and had nothing but trouble with the ice maker. Samsung will not come up with a solution or stand behind their product. We thought about replacing the ice maker but Samsung has not corrected the problem, so buying a new one will not solve the problem! We have to defrost the freezer the old fashion way, with hot water. We are tired of doing this process because we have to keep the refrigerator doors cracked open so it wont start freezing again. By doing this we have lost perishable goods. We have replaced our Washer and Dryer with a different brand because Samsung wont fix the problem and now we are replacing our refrigerator even though its not that old! Next well replace our range. We started replacing our TVs also. NO MORE SAMSUNG!!!!

We purchased our refrigerator in August of 2010. The refrigerator side has failed cooling 4 times in three years. Each time, the technician comes out and repairs it by replacing the same control board and coil heater unit. Each time, it cools fine for 8 to 10 months. Then it fails again. Same failure. They are not addressing the real issue, just replacing the failed components. The cause of these failures is not being addressed. The last technician even said there was a defect in the design. What can be done about getting Samsung to own up to this.

Have owned my Samsung appliances for 2 years, 6 months. The dishwasher leaks from the front just like described by many others. I have found that when loading the dishwasher the last time before running the cycle, I physically push the front gasket all the way around the opening (just run my finger around it) and it lessens or stops the leaking experience. This of course is not acceptable performance but it may help others until they replace their Samsung Dishwasher with another brand as I will do soon rather than spending any more money on this poor performing product. I will say, I LOVE my other Samsung appliances - Refrigerator, Stove/Oven, and/or Microwave - they all work GREAT and would definitely buy again.

Samsung electric slide-in range. First -- Samsung does not honor its warranties. Second -- in a period of 3 years, the left front burner cause a break in the glass in the same place while boiling water on 8, not high. After pressing Samsung relentlessly and being accused of lying, they finally replaced the top, but with no additional warranty. Their repair people here in Ill, Unique didnt even run diagnostics. Less than one year later the same burner caused the same break with the same configuration as stated above. I was across the room, no I didnt hit the glass and no Im not a liar. Third -- I did manage to set a hot dog on fire using the broiler. I let the fire burn out as trying to fix it would add oxygen and thats not a great idea. It burned out the oven altogether. The oven will no longer work at all. Finally -- as for operation --- If you lean on the control system at all -- say to lift a pot from the back burner, you will likely turn on another burner or turn your oven on or off without knowing it. Great product. So, after spending too much on an inferior product I am now in the position of having to spend even more money to purchase a new oven. One might also consider the battery and glass problems that Samsung has had with their phones. Inferior glass... Inferior sub-contractors (Unique)... Inferior claims dept. Dont do this to yourself.

Hint, I have a Weber grill I paid 700 for, had it for 2 year and it quit working. Called Weber to order parts and guess what, they sent me all the parts for free just so they wouldnt lose a customer. WE HATE THIS FRIDGE! Samsung should be ashamed! This is the side by side model # rs25h5111sr. Its 2015 & with the tech we have now, there shouldnt be these issues. I have over 5 major complaints about this fridge! 1st the noise! When we open the freezer door & then shut it, it sounds like the haunted mansion over @ Diz! It expands & creaks like the walls in the haunted mansion. It was so comical, I invited neighbors over to witness it! They think its hysterical, we do not! When we also open the freezer door & shut it, theres a knocking sound like someone with a hammer is banging for about 3 or 4 times! The thing pops & cracks but not just little pops or cracks. Its so loud it awakens us in the middle of the night! Sounds like someone breaking into our home. The motor is also noisy... why? Did Samsung forget to put needed insulation in this fridge or did they just make it cheaply? After realizing the drawers were cheap slide in & out, we have decided Samsung made everything CHEAPLY! The ice machine sounds like a fire hose when it fills the ice tray. Weve adjusted the water pressure & still sounds the same! We were going to return it the 1st wk. We called Samsung & were told that the fridge needs to adjust & the plastic is new... yada, yada, yada. We also didnt return it due to it works its just SUPER NOISY & getting it in & out of the house is a total fiasco! Samsungs engineers need to go back to school & learn what fridges In the US are supposed to sound like, which is quiet! The other issues we do not care for are: The drawer placement, along with no wheels on the drawers & the unusual light they decided to put in the back of the fridge. The light isnt a good kind of light. Its eerie which goes along w/ the haunted like noise that comes from it! Dont buy this fridge if you want peace & quiet!

We have had this range for 4 years and it has operated well. The coating on the bottom of the oven appears to have cracked and rust is forming which I suspect is from self cleaning. Samsung considers this cosmetic and will not cover this. The range still looks like it is new, including the racks. I cant seem to find anything online where this has been an issue with ranges.

We have had the dishwasher face and bottom doors on fridge and stove replaced twice under warranty for peeling. Stove peeling again. Now we are told it’s cosmetic and not covered. We purchased a Samsung refrigerator with freezer on bottom and double upper doors. It is 5 years old and every year we get water under the pull out tray. Yesterday I soaked up three large beach towels worth of water. Chilled out 1/2 ice that covered about 25% of space under drawer. The water gets so bad that it runs down on hard wood and warps it. Seems too happy when humidity is bad... Summer months. No repairman likes to work on Samsung. Great, but they should not be selling refrigerators. My friend has same frig and same thing happens to her.

I purchased a Samsung 30 inch 5 burner free standing 5.8-cubic ft free standing self cleaning convection gas range model # NX583G0VBSR from Lowes. The oven temp is off by 50-80 deg. I have had the probe replaced twice and the board replaced once. Every time after the new parts are installed it heats up to the right temp but takes 30 minutes to do so. But then the next time I go to use it, the problem reappears. I am out of warranty but the repairs were initiated while it was under warranty so you must ask for the warranty to be extended, also you must ask for parts and service. (1-800-726-7864) The first question they ask is if I have used the self clean feature, I have not. The tech also asked that question. I asked him if there was a problem with the self cleaning feature and he said there was and that the temp gets to high and destroys the probe, so I guess the self cleaning feature that I bought is no longer an option on my range. I now have another repair tech coming to replace the board and probe again. If this fails I am going to try to get the range replaced. I would not recommend a Samsung product as we have had repairs to our fridge and tablet. I thought these products were high quality but I guess I was wrong.

We bought this nice new French door refrigerator in 2009 from Lowes. Fast forward to 2011, we were moving and out of town. We came home to a refrigerator that had quit cooling. It was running but not cooling and there were loads of flies. Aside from being very ticked off, we cleaned it out, lost several hundreds of dollars in food. We have contacted Lowes several times and they cannot find the sale which doesnt matter; it has a sticker on it showing the mfg date. We live in a very rural area. Twice now, Lowes has been contacted about finding a service person and they would get back to us and never do. We were told by an appliance company here locally that this is the normal life of Samsung refrigerators, and Im finding this to be true. Anybody looking at more class action suits against them? There have been at least one due to them knowingly selling appliances with bad compressors from what I have read.

My microwave that I purchased in April 2011 has been giving me issues month
My microwave that I purchased in April 2011 has been giving me issues months after I purchased. The panel has been replaced about 4 or 5 times and continued to have issues like beeping for no reason, lights on and off without being touched and going out for weeks and returning back to life after weeks of not working. I have made plenty of phone calls about 40 between Samsung and their technicians with little luck. At times they closed my file just because and i would have to start the process all over again. Since my microwave has completely stopped working in August 2014 they said they would fix and came out 3 times to diagnose the same issue but never fixed it. I was told by tech he was going to order parts and be back to fix, and never did. It was a lie. They called me 3 other times after that because they wanted to diagnose it again. That makes no sense, but they claim that is the process. I complained with BBB, and Samsung now wants the original purchase receipt that I had already showed the technician in 2012. Since I dont have it they want to partially reimburse me for owning it all this time. Whos fault is that? Not mine. If Samsung would have accepted my product was defective from the beginning I would not have owned it for so long. How can the people put an end to this defective product. They should get sued or make them recall their product. I am tired of Samsung and they should be held accountable for selling faulty products.

RM255BARB - The ice maker never worked right. It never gave us large ice cubes & ice cubes were mixed with crushed ice. It also stopped up all the time. A service man was called out so many times, I finally gave up. Now the bottom right door (this is a 4 door refrig.) rust started coming out of it. Called to see what is going on. After several phone calls & a visit from repairman on a $2800 refrig., about 7/12 year old machine, it has to be replaced. This is really disgusting because most people cant afford this kind of money every 7 years. I also have a Samsung in my garage as a back up with the freezer pull out drawer and I hate it. It is now freezing the food in the refrigerator part. Why cant these companies get their act together. So much so, in fact, that even though its only 2 years old, rather than repairing the stove... which blew something during a self-cleaning cycle, shut down and remains locked even after 3 days. We are trashing it and buying ANYTHING BUT Samsung. Even the repair service, when calling to confirm our appt. and advised by me that we were buying rather than repairing, advised that that was the way to go when dealing with a Samsung product. The issue I am having is with the lower arm. It keeps popping out from the tube it sits in. Every time I have make sure its in but 9 times out of ten its out when its finished. At first I thought the part had sheared somehow and that is why it was loose. So I bought another arm. $110.00 bucks! The new one popped in and lo & behold it did the same thing. I also have the same issue with the black gunk that builds up at the bottom of the door. I clean it quite often. Its GROSS! I purchased a Samsung Dishwasher (Model #DW80H9930US) from Tasco, on the ad
I purchased a Samsung Dishwasher (Model #DW80H9930US) from Tasco, on the advice of Tascos salesman. It was installed in November 2014. I had also purchased a 5 year warranty. By June 2015 my dishwasher was no longer working. I went into Tasco who told me I had to contact my warranty provider, who in turn advised that Samsung held the initial warranty for the first year. I contacted Samsung at the beginning of July and was told a technician would call. I never received a call. Two weeks later I contacted them again and as everyone has previously mentioned, the wait times are approximately 30 minutes to speak with someone at the first level customer service. A woman finally booked a date to have a technician come out. I waited all day and got a call from someone to then set up another date that was approximately 3 weeks later. The technician came to my home and I advised him that the soap dispenser was not opening. He attached his computer to my dishwasher and told me the waterfall technology was not working and my motor was defective, which in turn was why the soap was not opening. He advised they would be ordering a new motor and I would get a call within 2 weeks to set up another appt. He also told me off the record this dishwasher consistently breaks down and is not a good buy. I had to remove my baseboard for that visit noting the dishwasher is built in. He never left the name of his company or anything with me. 3 weeks later I still had not heard from anyone. I contacted Samsung again to speak with someone and they told me they would be in touch. I called again 3 days later and after 30 min and going through the story each time -- got disconnected. In August I finally called and was put through to the Executive department because I was told I could not speak to management. I spoke with a Brian representative ** who was extremely rude and just flat out told me that they would not even consider replacing the unit, even noting the issues wrong with it so early on and the reviews I had read. He gave me an email address sdr.seca@samsung.com to send through a complaint as there never seems to be a manager consumers can speak with. I sent an email with my issues on August 12 and then a follow up on August 18th, 2015, and have never received a response from Samsung. I called 2 more times and was still unable to get a technician or call back. In October I went back to Tasco for help and was told I should have contacted them for service. I contacted Tasco who then in turn left me hanging until the end of November. On Thursday, November 26, I received a call from a Peter ** at Samsung and was told the delay of 6 months was because I did not call the technician back to let him know the baseboard had been removed. That the dishwasher was not properly diagnosed and they dont even know what is wrong with it. He was reading very different information than anyone else I had spoken to and basically told me I was lying that it was the motor. He was so rude, condescending, and when I asked for his managers phone number, he gave me a wrong number. At this point I have a dishwasher that has not worked for 5 months and cannot get Samsung to help me at all. At this time, I would like the dishwasher replaced and it is now out of warranty. At this time I do plan to take Samsung and Tasco to small claims court if I have to, noting I have a dishwasher that does not work and now its out of the manufacturers warranty. I will never purchase or recommend a Samsung appliance to anyone and will deter anyone from them. I would not want anyone to have to endure the stress and frustration I have had to deal with and still have not had the problem rectified. So disappointing.

I bought a Samsung microwave (next to top of the line) and within a year it would not heat. The store I bought it at graciously replaced it. I added money to it and purchased the top of the line one - again a Samsung. In January the door bracket broke and my husband and I spent a day finding the right bracket on the internet. It was a $10 part and after finding schematics on the internet on how to replace it he was able to replace it. Otherwise it would have been at least a $125 repair call. It will be 2 years in July since we purchased this top of the line Samsung microwave and this one is not working. I detected a burning wire smell this morning in my kitchen and could not figure out where it was coming from till I opened my microwave to heat my tea and the light did not come on and the control panel was not lit. Thats when I realized that the burning wire smell was coming from the microwave. Really? Two Samsung microwaves within 3 years. I assured him the one year old water filter was not the problem but he guaranteed me it would fix the problem. Of course it did not. Because you know you are going to be on hold with them forever I waited several months to call again. Now the door flap on the left side door has had a spring broken and does not close properly. Called again they finally agreed to send someone out to look at it. Need a new door flap ($80) and when I described the ice problem the tech says oh yeah, I have fixed lots of those. I bought a Samsung Refrigerator about less than a year ago from HHGREGG. About a month ago, the refrigerator became faulty. There was no cooling in the fridge, however the freezer was working fine. The milk and other perishable items were getting spoiled in the fridge. Immediately I contacted Samsung technical support, they made me reduce the fridge temperature, but that did not help in any way. Finally a ticket was generated and it was given to Dependable Services (Samsung contracts with third party to provide repair and maintenance service) to fix the issue. This is where my nightmare started. After great difficulty I was able to get hold of some customer service person in Dependable Service. Finally they gave me a service technician visit date that was about a week away. On the said date, they called me and said the spare parts did not arrive, so the visit was pushed to next week. After a week of finally waiting, again I got a call from the customer service team saying one of the spare parts was there and other was in someone elses truck. Then they postponed the visit for another week. Now again they called me and left a voice mail (I was not reachable). Immediately I called back when I saw the voice mail in the evening. I was told the ticket was cancelled due to no response (they call a single call no reply from customer is a no response for them). I had to call Samsung and had to get another ticket. After all this hassle, finally the technician arrived at home after more than 3 weeks of complaints, back and forth calling. The technician comes home and says he did not have spare parts (the cooling fan had to be replaced) to fix the fridge. I was shocked. They had postponed the repair for more than 3 weeks giving one reason or another saying they were getting parts from Samsung to repair, and here comes the technician without the parts. The whole thing has been a nightmare. I had to call Samsung customer service many times, and they ask me to talk to dependable service. They are giving me a run around. I regret buying a refrigerator from SAMSUNG, THEY HAVE HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I am without refrigerator for more than a month now... I would never ever buy any Samsung product ever in my life. I will NEVER purchase any Samsung products ever again. I will also let everyone I know to never purchase Samsung products. I purchased a Samsung refrigerator one year and almost a month ago. The refrigerator has completely stopped working because Samsung put a faulty part in the fridge. They will not do anything to help me or fix this problem because the warranty is one year and it has been 22 DAYS past the warranty. Samsung has told me I will have to pay $160 just to look at the refrigerator + parts which they would not disclaim to me an estimate of how much the part could cost. I had a technician (not from Samsung) come out and look at the fridge prior to calling Samsung and they saw that Samsung had put in a cord that was supposed to have 3 prongs but was broken and only had 2 prongs. They informed me that they could replace the part which would be at least $250 dollars. However that still will not guarantee if the refrigerator will still work because the faulty part might of completely damaged the fridge for good. The technician informed me that I was lucky because the refrigerator could have completely blown up due to the faulty part. I called Samsung after I had learned what the issue was and they would not do anything about it unless I paid for them to fix the fridge and they did not guarantee that even after paying that if the fridge still does not work that they would do anything about it. They basically told me that I would have to keep paying more money to get it fixed because the warranty was up 22 days ago and it is now no longer their fault. What company puts a BROKEN part into an expensive and large purchase putting a household family in danger and then doesnt own up to it nor replace the part?! This is the worst customer service I have ever received my whole life and I am 55 years old and have owned many homes and many appliances in my lifetime. Samsung makes faulty products that are a danger to the consumer and then charges the consumer ridiculous amounts of money to fix it. What a greedy, dishonest, unreliable and manipulative company. Do NOT buy a refrigerator from them!!!!

About six years ago we bought a Samsung refrigerator. At first we were quite pleased. But that was short lived. After having the refrigerator for three years we noticed water accumulating in the bottom of the refrigerator. We soaked it up only to notice ice building up from the back. We broke the ice loose and cleaned it up to notice that the water and ice returned within a few weeks. The repairman replaced a few parts and told us that all Samsung are known for many problems ranging from electrical to mechanical such as the computer board, icemaker, and cooling units. After he left, I noticed that the shelves were sagging. The shelves no longer catch in their proper slots. I thought that perhaps the repairman didnt reinstall the parts correctly, but through my own inspection noticed no discrepancy. The refrigerator sides are simply bowing out causing the shelves to shift and sag. Recently, the water dispenser has stopped working, the food at the bottom of the refrigerator is freezing, and at this point I see no further reason to call for repair. Weve had the refrigerator for about six years and it is junk. Samsung has brought credence to the phrase They dont build them like they used to. What happened to the 20-year appliance?

We redid our kitchen and bought all new appliances. We bought Samsung fridge stove and microwave. From the time we used the stove it has made a loud clicking sound as it heats up. We phoned Samsung and after many calls and a lot of time on hold a repair company phoned me and told me it was the relay and that was normal for a Samsung. If I had known that this oven would make this much noise I would not have bought it.

We purchased our Samsung RF32MWDBSR at HHGREG on 10/12/2014, in Fort Wayne Indiana, am I thankful we purchased the 5 years warranty, never planned to have to use a warranty on such an expensive item but for weather considerations on a $2749.00 model you will consider. I paid an additional $449.99 for 5 yrs warranty to which is SLOW AND SLOWER to have repairs done. This is my 3rd complaint and according to their 3 complaints and Ill replace it with a NEW ONE I am waiting to see. I am not happy with this model. It has had so far, our first repair was on 7/23/2015 when compressor 66A and 34 A went out. E23/ Cond Fan error & Main PCB FAILURE. All this occurred the 1st time, then it would not cool equally as said to be in manual. We called in 2nd complaint they refused to send a repair man out. They made issue to call the other warranty program and give us the runaround. We called the other and nothing happened, then after 6 months they finally issued a check for loss of food for $200 which didnt even come close to all we lost two times. The refrigerator still has a flood of issues they wont fix. I have again just today decided to call in again and ask for a ticket order, all automated, with a 999-999-9999 number to call. Its a joke!! I put in for now a third service call because freezer ice maker is dead for 3 months cause they lost my last service ticket AGAIN... oh my! Well all I can say is Samsung offers no help whatsoever, on this faulty model and have no plans to help their customers who have a 5 yr warranty out either. I would love to sue them! It is beyond a recall when their product cant run for more than 8 months between major repairs. THEY LIE ABOUT WARRANTY CALL INSURANCE. They do not stand behind their product. PLEASE BUYERS BEWARE!

Saved up to purchase a Samsung side by side French door refrigerator. What a disappointment. We didnt have it two years before we had problems. The ice maker stopped working and started dripping water into the refrigerator. We had to pay out of pocket to get ice maker repaired. The technician said hes had numerous calls for that same problem in Samsung refrigerators. He told us we had an expensive paper weight. That repair lasted about 90 days. Again the ice maker stopped working. We decided we couldnt afford that expensive service call; wed do without the ice maker. The refrigerator started making aloud roaring noise; the inside refrigerator temp. down to the low fifties. We had toss out food. We couldnt endure it anymore. Our stimulus check was used to buy another refrigerator. We are both handicapped and cant shop daily for food; especially during this epidemic. Im totally disgusted. I feel like weve been swindled especially since Samsung know about this problems with their refrigerators. Unfortunately; we also have a Samsung stove and dishwasher. Wed purchased all three appliances at the same time. The stove temperature isnt regulated correctly. I always have to use an oven thermometer to keep from burning my food when I bake. Id never buy another Samsung appliance. Never!

Purchased the refrigerator recently. Samsung has been out numerous times and cant repair it. The problems seem to change with each tech and with each phone call. I get different reasons why it doesnt work correctly. Last outsider tech rep stated it was the smart app in the refrigerator has a problem. Samsung does not live up to its advertising or product warranty. Would not recommend Samsung to my worst enemy. In the advertising it states Stream music and videos, and watch your Samsung TV directly on your Family Hub... Also bought a new Samsung TV and they are not compatible. So states some Samsung reps. Others say that it should work. Spent a lot of money on garbage, in my opinion.

After two years, my Samsung SRS594HNSS two-door fridge started to freeze over on the left inside vent. It stopped working shortly after. I had the fridge for 2 1/2 years. When I contacted Samsung, who put me on to their agent, he installed a kit which cost me with labor $AU250. It took five weeks for the kit to come and it was over two months before the job was done. The fridge is now freezing over again. Samsung said it was out of warranty. I told Samsung that no one would buy an expensive fridge that would only last 2 1/2 years. It has been four months now since I contacted Samsung and their agent and the fridge is now 2 years and ten months old. I rang Samsung and they said the kit was under warranty and to call their agent again. The agent wants to charge me all over again for the labor. The agent for Samsung said that he had installed lots of these kits and never had any trouble, which makes me think it is a fault in the fridge. Samsung said it wasnt. Why the kit then? The complaints department staff were courteous and helpful. I realize it is not their fault, but a company policy. I had to buy another fridge during the hot Australian summer while waiting for the repair to be done. I am disappointed with Samsung as I have bought their products before including an expensive washing machine. I wont be buying any Samsung products from now on if they dont do the right thing by me.

We have a Samsung 3 door fridge with a bottom freezer (Model RF217ACPN) which has been leaking water into the crisper ever since we bought it. The first year we had it, it started to leak water and Samsung sent a service man out to fix it. He fixed it but months later it started to leak again. After he fixed it, 3 weeks later it leaked again. Samsung has paid for all of these repairmen at a cost of $200.00 a visit. When we call Customer Service about a refund or replacement we get stonewalled. They will not even let us talk to anyone higher than a customer service rep. We are very frustrated as they say their tech dept. has to deem this unit as having a factory defect. I dont know, and they cant tell me, how this is determined. They have already spent almost the original price of the fridge in repair bills but refuse to make this whole thing right. We are done with Samsung and will not buy anything from them unless they resolve this matter to our satisfaction!

This fridge worked fine for about 2 years then something went haywire. It took Sears five trips to finally send a repair tech who was competent to properly diagnose the problem. The first tech diagnosed the (wrong) problem and charged me $357. That didnt fix it, so a new tech showed up and made a new diagnosis, and ordered another part. It was the wrong part, so another part had to be ordered. In the meantime, I dont have a working refrigerator so bought a 30-year-old $85 beater that does work. Luckily there was room to set it up in the dining area. Sears sent a third tech who said the initial diagnosis was wrong so ordered a new part -- but this tech then said he wouldnt plug the fridge back in because the outlet wasnt grounded. I called an electrician who charged me $75 to say yes it is grounded (which I was pretty sure was the case). Finally a tech showed up and properly diagnosed the problem, at the cost of $272. The tech said Sears would credit my credit card $85 for the difference between the right and wrong parts. Sears has not billed me for the $272 but they also have not refunded me the $85 for the overcharge. I have called them also asking to be reimbursed for these items: the $85 fridge I was forced to buy due to their technicians continued incompetence, $75 for the unneeded electrician service call, $100 that I felt obliged to offer the tenants living in the house to take off their rent because this entire process took two months to find a competent Sears service tech. I will never again buy an appliance from Sears and sure as heck wont call them to service this fridge the next time it has a problem (and Im keeping the $85 beater in the garage just in case).

It has been serviced at least 5 times and still doesnt work right. We have to buy ice. I will never buy any Samsung appliance again. We got the appliance in 2014 around November. December was the first service call. I called and complained several times to Samsung and Metro Appliances where we purchased the item. Beings the warranty has expired I will buy ice from now on. I have spent enough money on repairs. I should have bought a good refrigerator. Never again...

Bought my Samsung Stainless Steel Gas slide-in range #NX58H9500WS on March
Bought my Samsung Stainless Steel Gas slide-in range #NX58H9500WS on March 26, 2016. Last week after the holidays on 12/27/17 decided to use the self cleaning oven for very first time (oven was only lightly soiled). I picked the short 2hr cycle since it was the first time using the cleaning feature. About an hour later noticed the display lights were all off and oven was not running. Oven door was locked. The knobs and display panel were hot. Waited for it to cool down for hours. Nothing changed. Luckily the stove top still worked! Called PC Richards for my extended warranty service. A week later the repair tech came and said he has seen this problem many times before and that it is a known design flaw of the range and suggested I clean the stove manually from now on! I couldn’t believe what I was hearing - after spending over $2000.00 on a new range I am supposed to clean it by hand? The tech ordered the 3 hidden thermal fuses and will return to repair when they come in. If that does not unlock the oven door he states it could be that the motherboard was also fried and need to be replaced. Luckily I have an extended warranty but if I attempt to use the self clean again will this happen all over again. I will be contacting Samsung for the answer. I am 60 yrs old and have never had to clean any oven manually before and don’t intend to start now! Apparently this is a known flaw and this product should be recalled by Samsung. I will wait until the tech returns with the parts (hopefully within another 2 weeks) and everything is fixed and then intend to contact Samsung again. This is a major inconvenience, not having an oven for at least 3-4 weeks. I hear the customer service and satisfaction at Samsung is less than adequate but I am relentless and will not accept this situation. I will keep you posted.

Purchased Samsung Black Stainless French Door - bottom freezer on 6/10/17. Freezer stopped working in 4/2019. Samsung said they would do a 1 X free parts - I would have to pay labor (or vice versa). Warranty was up (less than 2 years since purchase). They entered a wrong phone on service request - not just a wrong number but something made up like: 12345678 which cancelled my appointment because service provider could not reach me. Called them back and they told me they were sorry and because of this they would also pay both the labor and parts. Meanwhile I had researched what could have been wrong and found quite a few google answers that people experienced same thing and it was the evaporator motor. I relayed that to service provider so if they brought that part it would be fixed sooner than later. (Side note at this point we also had to buy a freezer so all the food we stocked up on during pandemic didnt end up in the garbage). They fixed it. Several months later both the refrigerator and freezer stopped working. I called Samsung and immediately was told I would have to pay for repair. I questioned it ONLY. But was prepared to pay the $99 for a diagnostic. They put in service ticket and then noticed days later it was cancelled? I called them and they said we cancelled it because you refused to pay. I never refused to pay?!I ended up called the service provider - they sorted it out and I paid them $99 for house call. They diagnosed it as needing some kind of sealer and refrigerant and Samsung has lengthened the time of the warranty of that particular problem (probably must be an ongoing issue). They had to come back a week later. I was also told - it may or may not work. Sure enough end of May freezer died. Service provider could not come out until the 11th of June. Beginning of beginning of June 2020 refrigerator died as well. Had to throw out all perishables. So we got less than 3 years use. One correction - I communicated with Samsung through their CHAT option. I ended up cancelling the appointment today 6/9/20 and taking the loss and ordering a different brand that wont be delivered until 7/13/20. Horrible experience with this refrigerator. Purchase date: 6/10/2017 - Garbage date: 6/9/20.

We purchased our Samsung refrigerator in August/September of 2013. Within 2 months, we heard a loud buzzing noise. We did not initially know that it was coming from the fridge so we took apart our house trying to figure out where the noise was coming from and figured out that indeed, it was coming from our new refrigerator. We called for service, which required me to miss work to wait for the repair. The fan was full of ice in the back and the technician had to order some part to replace which did not come until the following week. I had to miss work (again) to get the part installed back in and thought that everything was fine. Nope! Two months later, the noise is back and louder this time. We called for service again and this time around, the ice situation is horrible in the back of the refrigerator. At this point, I am positive that there is a defect with this product so I requested for an exchange. The rep on the phone keeps telling me that it is their policy to have the technician out there a certain number of times before the exchange can take place. I can generally understand that but if a product had a serious performance issue within the first two months of use and has the same issue despite the fix, shouldnt Samsung stand by their products and remedy the situation for the customers? What about all the food wasted and the time wasted off work for someone to sit at home trying to wait for a service man to come for a new fridge? There is definitely a temperature issue with the fridge every time the ice forms in the back. Is Samsung going to take responsibility if anyone in my family gets food poisoning from eating food that was not properly refrigerated? This is just not acceptable in my books and I will probably never purchase or recommend a Samsung fridge again. They do not stand behind their products at all. If you sell a lemon, there is a need to refund or exchange the product within a certain time period as a consumer should not be hassled for your product defects.

I then called Samsung and talk with management. They have agreed to send a tech from Samsung to have a look at no charge. To call this refrigerator a lemon, Sears has to send out a tech out 4 times and order new parts 4 times, so thats 8 visits! Im now waiting for visit # 5 and need to order parts two more times to get rid of this lemon.Im so pissed off at Sears for wasting my time and making me go through a painful process to solve my issue. Dont buy anything from Samsung, because its junk! I had to replace Samsung Dishwasher after 3 years. Also, read the fine print on the warranty. Im winning this war and next time they come back, I will say order some parts until I hit their quota. By that time I will have cost them close to $1500 in service calls. I would recommend extended warranty on every dishwasher and refrigerator you buy. I replaced the piece of crap Samsung dishwasher with a Bosch and love it and I purchased a 5-year service agreement.

Microwave is literally 16 days old and it smokes and sparks! So today we started the process of returning this microwave that is a fire hazard. The call process is ridiculous! The first representative who we called said, “Sure return the microwave” and told us to go to the website. Well that wasnt correct as nothing was there so called back second person said we cant return it transferred us to another dept. as the order # isnt there and cant find us. They hung up during the transfer, go figure...call back and they said, “Will give you a person to contact so you can have it looked at, a shop person technician”...Sooo we called the technician office, they said we’re not in the system 18 mins later and they will start a warranty claim. Whatever that means. Here we sit waiting for the technician office to call to set up an appt. We literally just bought this junk and received it on the 16th of August 2018. Weve been in another state for a funeral so we missed the cutoff, go figure. This $200 piece of junk sparks and smokes when you use it. We will now have to drive this junk to a shop to have it looked at because they refuse to return it after 15 days. And I refuse to have this crap plugged into my house to blow up. Then we will hope that the person there doesnt blow up and is component enough to fix it. So bottom line you will need to set a day off to call many departments waiting for someone to call you back but they will refuse to return your product after 15 days even though its defected. Note: there is a place you can call if the item is defected. They will return it for money back at 30 days but only if it was damaged in transit. Dont do what we did. Stay away far away!

If you are like me and really like Samsung televisions, dont be foolish and expect the same quality from their kitchen appliances. I purchased an electric range and it is so lacking in every respect. Foremost, the oven burns so hot, every dish burns on the bottom and ALL BAKING is ruined. Its hot temperatures do not correlate to those of the recipes forcing you to remove it ten minutes before the suggested recipe temperature. Even then, the result is a dry brownie or cake... In other words, it overlooks everything. After calling Samsung they threatened me with the fact that if a man comes here and finds it is not a technical problem of the stove, I will be charged. So much for their guarantee and quality. DONT BUY SAMSUNG KITCHEN APPLIANCES. BUY AMERICAN PRODUCTS... They at least know how to bake a brownie like my former stove by Frigidaire. Ive had the Samsung refrigerator for 3 years. The first year, it was leaking water and that was repaired. The second year, it stopped cooling and the fans were replaced. The icemaker has not worked most of the time. And this year, it stopped cooling on July 12. They came and replaced the fans and the icemaker. During that repair, they found an internal Freon leak. It took another 2 weeks before that was repaired, but the refrigerator was still not cooling. This time, it was apparently the compressor. They replaced the compressor on Friday, August 30th. I woke up Saturday to a nice cold fridge. I was happy about that! However, Saturday night, the temp was reading 60 degrees in the fridge and 40 degrees in the freezer! Im so over this. I have not had a working refrigerator since July the 12th. It is September 2nd. Were using a mini-fridge and a deep freezer. They told me it has to have the same repair done 3 times and then break again a 4th time before it qualified for replacement under the lemon law. Im very frustrated and will NEVER buy another Samsung product.
