Bought this refrigerator in 2012 and its been nothing but problems with the coils freezing causing the cooling fan to stop working. Ive had a tech come at least 4 times in the last 6 months. I spent about $1500 on this fridge and it should have lasted longer than this. Now I have either buy a new one or keep buying a yearly warranty. How is this refrigerator not on a recall list? Feeling ripped off by Samsung. I will never buy a Samsung product again.

My complaint no. **. Samsung refrigerator broke down after just 1.5 years in service. When you call the customer care they happily say that your warranty has expired and inform that you have to pay INR 400 for the service engineer to visit and analyze the fault first. And imagine the pain when you have to hear one service engineer tells you that the coil is spoilt and gas is leaking, and that you have to pay INR 4000 to rectify these, for a product you paid INR 14000 just 1.5 years back. Over and above this, they say they have no backup spares and it will take 6 days to get it from Delhi (!) in India in a hot and humid climate. Imagine how to manage food without cooling options at home? The call centre is pathetic... Pls. dont buy Samsung home appliances. That customer care execs are sweet spoken, and will speak a lot of Hindi and English but are unable to provide a solution. In spite of making daily calls and telling them that I cannot afford to wait for 6 days, they will make empty promises that they will resolve this as soon as possible but its just a formality and they make no attempts to solve your problems... Your product fails within 1.5 years of purchase. It takes 6 to 7 days for spares to be available. It costs 30% of the product basic price to repair your product just within 1.5 years of purchase. Over and above imagine the pain and agony customer has to go through because there is no cooling option for food at home. At this rate I could have easily purchased a fridge from a roadside vendor who would have given better services than Samsung at half the rate. Give me 1 reason why should customer buy Samsung product for double the rate for such pathetic services. Now you know why Samsung’s mobile phone business is suffering. I am pretty confident their appliances division will be meet the same fate…

I bought Samsung refrigerator, just one year, and then it started making loud sound and now it stopped cooling. Warranty is expired and now the customer service said I have to pay myself for the repair and they can send a technician. I have known and read some reviews that they are a problem which never goes away. There is no thing as user manual to fix this. I am doomed. Do not buy Samsung refrigerator. They have manufacturing and design defects and they have not recalled. So think before you buy. Please do research. And learn from my experience.

I bought Samsung model SFR528DSIS in Sep 2010. It started giving problems after two years. Water and ice started collecting in and under the crisper trays. It was repaired by Samsung as the fridge was under the manufacturer warranty and their own technician told that this issue is common with this model. The next year the same problem came again but luckily I had bought an extended warranty and so it was repaired. But unfortunately, it did not last long and the problem occurred again. I contacted Samsung but I was told off so ruthlessly that I will never dare to contact them and feel insulted. I spent $2,000 with the expectation to keep this fridge for long but now I expect to spend big money on repairs if I wanted to keep it.

I bought both appliance about 1 a day half year ago from Home Depot. I found the dishwasher tends to clean dishes well. Started last week, the refrigerator (rf263beaesr) started to have problem - the refrigerator was too cold. I unplugged it and waited for half day, and plugged it back. I found water was leaking from the water filter area. I found the water reservoir was broken. The refrigerator still way too cold, everything was frozen in refrigerator. My impression is that Samsung makes good-looking products, but the quality is really not up to the par. Ill not buy Samsung products for a long time.

It is unbelievable that with all the complaints we are reading about the SE problem with Samsung microwaves, the company hasnt responded. I too have the same beeping problem. I hardly used this microwave and have used it less than 2 years after installation. The fix becomes costly if you cant do it yourself. You might as well buy a new one. Then you have to pay for installation of that. I will never buy another Samsung product of any kind as their support is nil.

Happened twice and ruined all our food - over $400 in food loss. Ive had repair men come over now three times and same problem keeps coming up?? I purchased a Samsung gas stove in September 2020. In January of 2021 my wife and I noticed that the paint and clear coat was chipping off of the stove. I called Samsung to let them know about the problem and after a week and a half of playing phone tag a representative of the company informed me that the chipping paint is NOT covered under the warranty. Now we purchased the extended warranty and still had PLENTY of warranty left but in order for Samsung to fix the paint chipping we would have to PAY for the work. My recommendation is to NOT buy anything from Samsung unless you would like to pay $1300 for a black stainless steel stove only for it to have a 1” paint chip missing after 4 months.

My previous refrigerators lasted 15 years without one problem. This Samsung lasted less than 2 years before we had to pay for a new defrost timer. Now, less than another 2 years has past and it is broken again. We do not even live in a hot area! We live high in the mountains... what a piece of crap. Never buy Samsung refrigerators. They are junk. They should stick to TVs. My TV has been flawless for 10 years.

My compressor went bad after 3 months after purchase. They will not replace, only fix. Already it has been 1 week with no refrigerator and lost money with spoiled food. It took a service tech 1 week to come out and see whats wrong with it. This is frustrating, to spend so much money for a product and for it to break so fast. I know things happen but do the right thing. Now to replace the compressor it will take 3 hours to do and another week for a service tech to come. FRUSTRATING.

I have a french door refrigerator, model RF197ACWP, that was purchased 6 years ago. In the past 2 years we have had it worked on for collecting water in the crisper drawers and water and ice on the bottom shelf. We have spent over $600 on repairs and the problem continues. I have read many reviews now with the same issue. Over the past 2 months, through numerous phone calls, I have spent around 4 hours on the phone with Samsung, trying to get some compensation. I have been giving inaccurate information, transferred to the wrong department, hung up on, put on hold and never returned to, been spoken to in a rude way and many other discouraging encounters. It felt as though they were purposefully trying to shake me from pursuing this issue! I have never felt so disrespected by a company. The last thing they told me is that I will be reimbursed part of the cost of the refrigerator, but they have not followed through on any of the steps yet, which they told me would be weeks ago! I am so discouraged by the product and customer service. I guess I will now be looking into signing up for a class action suit or whatever else can be done.

VERY disappointed with Samsung. We purchased all Samsung stainless steel appliances less than 4 years ago. ALL have had continuous problems. Fridge ice maker always jams up with ice and cracked the inside, Back panel of the fridge freezes up causing the fan to stop and have to unthaw entire fridge every time. (Bye bye to all your groceries while it takes all day to warm up). Dishwasher racks now need tie straps to hold them up as the brackets continuously crumble into pieces, and we have had to take off the front panel and fix electrical problems, door seal leaks and dishes are ALWAYS coming out dirty. Tried every brand of soap, jet dry, even rinsed dishes before they go in. We even have the one that is suppose to gar-borate your food, doesnt work! Samsung STOVE: electrical plug melted my toaster cord, glass top cracked on its on, Yes, Im very careful and it didnt have a scratch on it, ON ITS ON, while warming up, it cracked. Im very disappointed and hope NO ONE buys from them. What a waste of money when they cant even make it 4 years. And dont bother phoning into Samsung, They are absolutely no help if you are past 1 year warranty.

I purchased 4 Samsung appliances for my kitchen and had to repair 3 out of the 4. But by far, the stove has been the worst. Since the beginning, the stove would not keep the set temperature. I would preheat it, it would hit the set temperature and then begin declining after about 5 minutes. Significantly declining- continuously dropping. I had to have a repair person out 3 times to fix it- which meant I had to wait at home 4 hours each time. I was promised a refund 3 different times when they deemed it irreparable. I would be waiting for my refund so I could purchase a different (not Samsung) oven and would call them back only to be told that my refund had been denied (even after receiving refund acceptance texts) for various reasons. They never contacted me to tell me that it had been denied- just left me waiting. Each time, I was asked to resend a different document (receipt, picture of serial number, etc) that I had already sent them previously. Each time I called (a total of 6 times), I had to wait on hold for at least an hour. I would be promised, promised, promised that they would take care of me and then nothing. The last customer service representative I had even refused to read documentation of my experience to explain my frustration. So...the product is faulty and customer service is lacking. Stay far, far away from Samsung appliances. Hopefully, you will learn from my mistake.

We renovated our entire kitchen in Samsung appliances. Our $3,300.00 4-door flex refrigerator lasted 2.5 years and my wife and I have been fighting with customer service (CS), since November 2017, to get them to honor their warranty. CS initially sent an authorized service person who tried to fix it and recharged the refrigerant. He stated that if this didnt fix the issue, since it was a sealed system, it is un-repairable. It worked for approximately 2 months and the issue returned. This points to a slow leak in the sealed system which has a 5 yr part/labor warranty. Next time we called they claimed they couldnt issue another ticket because our serial number had a refund already issued against it, though the refund wasnt in our name or sent to us. We feel their error is not our problem and shouldnt delay our warranty service request. They wouldnt budge.Since then weve heard nothing but excuses and well call you in a week. Another CS rep claimed the vendor (Home Depot) must have shipped a unit that had been previously returned (laughable), Home Depot doesnt stock the appliances theyre shipped straight from Samsung. We both actually heard these claims on our phone. Every time you call you have to re-explain the issue to them and Im sure they keep a file on your case. Now theyre asking me to remove the label from the appliance and send a picture to them (doesnt that invalidate the warranty?). This has been the most frustrating experience weve ever had. Youd think such a big company would want their name to stand out in a positive light. WE ARE NEVER BUYING ANOTHER SAMSUNG APPLIANCE AGAIN. Im contacting my states Attorney Generals office and the FTC about our issue. We may not be able to get financial relief but, if it is determined that what theyre doing is illegal, they will spend money in legal fees and fines. There are state and federal consumer laws regarding warranties. I hope this word gets out so maybe theyll change their ways. Best to document all contacts with them to show how they treat you. Their service techs dont give paperwork so you gotta keep all emails, texts msg, phone records to present your case.

I had a Whirlpool for 11 years and wanted a new stainless steel model. I got this 2 years back from Best Buy. I didnt get the extended warranty because I never used it with my old dishwasher and all money was just gone waste. The Samsung brand proved to be my nightmare. I had to call tech service twice in 1 year. Then again after year for which I paid through my own pocket. The dishes are never clean and top shelf never gets dry. I wash all with a soap, rinse with water then again run the dishwasher. If you put the dish without washing it doesn’t get clean. The material used inside, smells like a rubber and I think my old dishwasher was much sturdier than this WaterWall. Additionally, you have to baby it. The door lock gave up after 1 year, so changed it. Now again and again we keep getting error messages. I am just tired of this washer. I will not recommend anyone to buy.

WARNING: Buyer beware when purchasing Samsung home appliances. Within a couple of months of purchasing almost 2K of Samsung appliances; Dishwasher, stove and microwave the door on the microwave begun to melt. The cost to get new door was almost as much as the cost of a new microwave, Samsung denied warranty. The stove is horrible to use in every conceivable way. Their stainless steel is near impossible to clean and scratches easily. I purchased upgraded SS for fingerprint reduction, shouldnt have bothered. The dishwasher works intermittently at best then within a year the unit would not complete a wash/dry cycle. Worked around problem by manually running the pump, but eventually the sanitize light blinks rapidly would not reset without a hard reset at my electrical box. Now the machine will not complete a washing/drying cycle and I will be replacing. Troubleshooting guide says it is a drain problem. We do not have a drain problem, pump problem or leak problem as suggested by hundred of complaints on this companys dishwashers. Samsung response was not to respond at all. Many complaints I read online included multiple visits by repair people who are unable to fix this and other issues with Samsung appliances. The cost of their parts is so high that again replacement is cheaper in the near short time period. Many complaints online state that repair people used a shotgun approach replacing everything imaginable and within a few weeks or months the problems came back. Dont think the people who are complaining are a bunch of nut job, they are not. Samsung products are no longer on my list of products to buy. I have owned a lot of Samsung products but will never recommend or buy another one of their products until they own up to their problems. I am not holding my breath.

I just purchased all new Samsung kitchen appliances. The dishwasher was broken. It ran, but would not turn off even when I opened the door. I had to turn off circuit breaker. Called Lowes, and they replaced with a new one. They were great about it as I said I did not intend on having to pay my contractor a second time to install it, they completed the installation. Now it runs, but does not dry dishes. I purchased the rinse agent as I was advised, used it, still does not dry dishes. Today I used the sanitize option which was suggested in manual to get dishes dry...still not dry. I also have a very bad smell coming from dishwasher when there are no dirty dishes in it. It smells like garbage. So today I called Lowes and spoke to my salesman. I am NOT going to re-purchase a Samsung. He is going to have his department manager call me tomorrow. Again, I dont want to pay installation, but either way I am so disappointed. So far I am happy with refrigerator, stove, and microwave, but have only had them two weeks.

Have owned my Samsung appliances for 2 years, 6 months. The dishwasher leaks from the front just like described by many others. I have found that when loading the dishwasher the last time before running the cycle, I physically push the front gasket all the way around the opening (just run my finger around it) and it lessens or stops the leaking experience. This of course is not acceptable performance but it may help others until they replace their Samsung Dishwasher with another brand as I will do soon rather than spending any more money on this poor performing product. I will say, I LOVE my other Samsung appliances - Refrigerator, Stove/Oven, and/or Microwave - they all work GREAT and would definitely buy again.

We purchased a new home in 2009 and purchased stainless steel Samsung appliances for our new kitchen. French door refrigerator; over the stove microwave and range to the tune of over $6,000. In 2010 the refrigerator was leaking water under one of the trays. It was still under warranty so they sent a repairman who attempted to fix it. Said he couldnt but he tried. Also said that these refrigerators all have this problem. It is something with the thermostat, etc. We consistently had this problem, we had to remove the draw, chip away the ice and then use a hair dryer to thaw out the back wall of the refrigerator where the water line was located IN THE REFRIGERATOR. We had repairmen (several different ones came out for about 6 more times) all to no avail. They installed new parts, etc. Great inconvenience to say the least. Samsung finally refunded the purchase price of my refrigerator. The range was no better. In 2011, after the extended warranty we purchased expired, the broiler coil burnt out (according to the repairman) and had to be replaced. I asked him if there was anything he could do because I couldnt afford another repair. He said he could solder it but it was a temporary fix. He was right. About 10 months later the stove wouldnt work. Had to have the broiler coil replaced. Range is now working.Microwave started doing strange things in early 2013. It would go on by itself and I was afraid it would cause a fire. I called and the repairman, he came out and said it was only the fan that was going while the door was closed and he couldnt fix it because he felt it was a defect in the product. He didnt want to incur a huge bill for me when he didnt know what was wrong. He contacted Samsung and they wouldnt talk to him because he wasnt on their list of repairmen. The microwave operated fine, as for cooking, etc. with the fan always on when it was opened. In 2015 the whole thing just died. No error message, nothing. It just ceased working. I will never, ever purchase anything, other than a TV, from Samsung. They should stick with what they do best, TV sets. I now have to purchase a new microwave which has to be installed because it is an above range built in. The one we purchased was a high end and cost over $600. Didnt think it would only last 6 years. I had my other microwave for over 13 years and it worked fine. Waiting for the other shoe to drop on the range.

Everything melted and we lost the food. Samsung did repair it. Now the refrigerator is 2 months beyond a year of purchase and the icemaker has failed. We have had a tech here twice, he did not know how to repair it. Finally Samsung sent a tech of their own. Multiple design problems with the icemaker confirmed by the tech. I have been a fan of Samsung for many years and love the televisions they make. I have three of them. I thought I would get the same quality product in their dishwasher. I purchased the DMT-800RHS. This product, simply put is a lemon. The unit has a water fill sensor, that when it gets a little dirty it produced a 9E fault code. This code will come up every couple of months. Same problem with new parts. Its like having a car that when the engine air filter gets dirty it generates a code and renders the car inoperative. This product is the biggest waste of money at $799. Samsung tech service is heartless and do not really care, only to offer to come and clean the part every couple of months for $150 plus tax. If any water falls into the machine while replacing the water fill sensor you get a LE fault code. This is a leak detection fault. Now you must bring the machine outside, turn it upside down, remove some screws (special screws) which are of a torx type and dry the internal parts. It must air dry over night. Simply put this unit is the biggest lemon and Samsung will not acknowledge it. They simply do not care. I will never buy another Samsung product ever again.

DW80F600UTS - Do not buy this dishwasher! I ignored the bad reviews thinking it would be okay... its not! Since day one it has been pathetic at washing dishes. Now barely one year into it, just past warranty, the leak sensor breaks (there is no leak). The dishwasher shuts itself down after a few minutes and the lights blink. I called Samsung several times to troubleshoot and they were no help. Sears repair came out and diagnosed a broken sensor that costs $120 and $145 to install. That is $270 for a practically new dishwasher. Please save your time and money and do not buy a Samsung dishwasher!

As the previous 150 purchasers of the OTC Samsung SMH9187SW Microwave, I purchased mine 12/2011, and it has stopped working 2/2013. Since it is out of warranty, I didnt even bother to contact Samsung because Ive had mine for 26 months and knew that if I wanted a Samsung certified repair person, it would cost more than the original price. I live in the San Francisco Bay area so I found a repairman with 135 5 STAR reviews. I told him my problem and he said he stopped working on microwaves because it was cheaper for customers to replace them. He also said he did not know of anyone that he could honestly recommend. So I found this site and followed the advice of the few people that were able to get theirs up and running. Unfortunately, none of the suggestions helped; I tried unplugging the unit, pushing clear and start simultaneously and finally unplugging and resetting the blue and white plugs on the control panel.I had thought of buying a different microwave except for the fact there is not one single microwave under $1,000 with a customer rating above 2 stars. Even the Best Buy rated microwaves in Consumer Reports, Epinions, Amazon, etc. didnt receive positive reviews from the actual consumers. So now I am going to order the control panel (not from Samsung directly) and install it myself. I dont see any other option since I dont want the expense of another microwave plus installation and then worry that another problem will occur no matter what brand I buy. My 1st OTC microwave lasted 20 years, the 2nd for 10 years and now 2 years! I most definitely would like to be involved in a class action suit. One interesting side note: Consumer Reports still list Samsung in the top 4. From now on, Im going to the actual user reviews listed at the bottom of the rating page!

The repair helped for about two days and then it was back to leaking. Now it’s been over a month and we still can’t get Samsung to repair, replace, or even return our correspondence. We’ve been stuck in specialty claims, trying to negotiate with the repair company ourselves, who says Samsung won’t pay them, so they won’t come back. We’ve asked and been told that our claim has been elevated but no contact by phone or email for a week now - again. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced, and it is obvious that the service promise on their corporate website is a lie.

Purchased Samsung RFG237 AARS in 2011. It stopped working completely in Aug, 2019. It needed $850 worth of repairs including a new compressor. Before this we had $650 in repairs for the freezer, draining, misc items. I was expecting this to last more than 8 years. The spare fridge in my garage is 34 years old and has not required any repairs.

From owning a Samsung TV we felt we could trust the brand by buying a dishwasher from the company. How wrong can one be. It seems they have no idea how a simple dishwasher works. Darn thing runs for over 2 hours and the dishes dont come out very clean. We have to prewash them which is a real bummer. UNCLEAN stuff collects under the door frame at the bottom of the washer which needs to be wiped off. It was black like mold. This is a box that is supposed to clean and stay clean and it isnt. Id expect the company recall these units as they are not healthy. We paid a lot of money for this poorly designed machine and I am thinking about taking it back to Best buy whom I bought it from. Not their problem as they just carry the brand. .

I purchased a Samsung refrigerator on May 1. It has not been operating properly from the very first day. It froze everything in my refrigerator on two occasions and now it maintains a temperature of 55, which is above the safe level. The repair guy did nothing. It makes a very loud noise on the freezer side that can be heard in the whole apartment. I know something is wrong, but when the repair guy came, it was not making the noise and the food was not frozen so I was advised to just turn it off and plug back in because everything was computerized and it was impossible for him to tell what was wrong. Im going to have to junk it and get me a GE (what I had before). I will never buy another Samsung product.

We purchased a Samsung side by side refrigerator from hhgregg in September 2015. In July, 2016, the refrigerator stopped cooling. The fan was replaced under warranty. The total time from first call to completion was 11 days. Freezer worked fine throughout. September 13, 2016, same problem. After two days we called Samsung service again since we had not heard from the repair service. We were told that they didnt have a service person available and would continue to try to find one. hhgregg has been unable/unwilling to provide service. Their attempt to put us in touch with a service company led to being returned to the Samsung service queue. I would give both Samsung and hhgregg 0 stars if I could.

Now I have to wait another week for extended warranty to come out. Also inside was covered in a white residue. Samsung tech stated it was due to soap...dishwasher soap not good for a dishwasher! My new kitchen is all Samsung appliances. THREE WEEKS after the warranty ran out on the side-by-side French door refrigerator, it just stopped cooling. This was Dec. 7, 2015. Numerous calls to Samsung, one service technician appointment on Dec. 30, 2015 (he couldnt fix it), numerous additional calls, have resulted in absolutely nothing. My refrigerator is just a large cabinet. Christmas was a no-go. Here it is Jan. 3, 2016 and I dont even have another appointment for service. Samsung: never again.

We went back where we bought it and they told us that we were out of warranty. I ask them what could be causing this problem and they said we probably did not have it level. We checked, it was. We kept going back and did not get any results so I would tell everyone dont buy the Samsung 3 door refrigerator with the freezer at the bottom. Ice keeps building up on the bottom drawer.

Purchasing a Samsung Dishwasher - was the WORST appliance weve EVER purchased. If interested in having food re-circulated on dishes over AND over again and are interested in eating someone elses digested ick - then it may work for you! NEVER again here. We had 2 screw ups involving a wonderful.Service man come out to no avail. Over, over and OVER again to hand wash and soak our dishes, as the food particles would be stuck on 99% + our dishes, glasses and cutlery!! So, whats the point of owning a dishwasher??? All we can say from a family point of view: unless you like eating Uncle Bills and Brother Brets regurgitated disgusting leftover food bits and pieces on the plate or spit- up in the glass and stuck on the cutlery. Gross, Gross, GROSS, over and over again. Nope!!! And hello to another reliable brand... Look into/research what (company) you buy from.

The dishwasher repair was so expensive I elected to buy a new Kenmore. The refrigerator nightmare has been going on for 3 months with Samsung customer no service. These people jerked me around for 3 months (over 20 hours talking with them to fix the problem). My advice is do NOT allow Samsung to send out a repairman. Samsung will tell you its covered (as did the repairman) but when the job is complete you will be charged. I then got stuck with a large bill. If yours breaks call your own appliance repairman and save yourself your sanity. Samsung is a greasy/sleazy company selling beautiful but poorly made appliances. I will never buy or recommend their products.

Model RF220NCTABC/AA - cracking noise from doors. The problem with the doors is not exactly in the hinges themselves. There are two plastic pieces: one black in the top next to the hinge, another white in the bottom next to the hinges. These parts have the function of toggle-close the doors and unfortunately are not of the right quality. They are each attached to the door with one Phillips screw. If any of them breaks, you get the crack sound. I just removed the one on the bottom right and the problem went away. Your technicians answering the phone should be trained on that and even if the refrigerator was bought more than one year ago, send customers these parts for free. Probably the postage will be more expensive than the parts.

We purchased the microwave on 5/2016 from Best Buy. 7/2016 microwave filter began to pop out randomly once hitting me on my chest, then buttons were pressed on their own as if we had a ghost. Fan turns its self on, the light goes on by itself, a code came on (Samsung comp said disconnect and connect again - WHAT!!!). Geek Squad came and changed the board panel, filter panel, door. Called Samsung company, they sent a tech who changed the SAME thing. The company refused to replace the microwave. Once all was replaced the microwave worked for 1 mo and began to malfunction once more. Now the microwave freezes, we can not press any button on the door, the microwave turns off as if it was unplugged plus all the other things that were wrong with the microwave.I have asked to speak with the manager and all I ever get told is the microwave will be replaced if the SAMSUNG tech recommends it. Hello they work for Samsung it will not get recommended. Well the tech came today. Recommendations replace the door again. Really. That will be the 3rd time. The stove it takes a long time igniting. I was told not to cook with flour (I do not cook with flour). The fridge the ice dispenser it is very small you are lucky if you get 4 cups with ice. Icemaker sweats and drips water inside the fridge. This was the first time we purchased Samsung appliances, and it will be the last one. I should of bought Viking/Frigidaire appliances. Purchased a brand new Samsung dishwasher in November 2010. Immediately we had some type of electrical problems. Every time we went to use the washer we had to reset the breaker to get it to turn on. The electrical panel was eventually replaced after waiting months for the part. The same thing continued so the entire dishwasher was replaced in June, 2011. In October, we experienced our first error code message related to drainage. Found to be debris blocking the drain hose. In December had the upper rack bracket break loose. Weeks later had the same drainage error code appeared again. Technician found the plastic bracket pieces in the pump clogging the drain. Bracket was replaced but eventually broke again and became lodged in pump, requiring another service call. About six months ago a new error code appeared approx halfway through the cycle. Technician advised that it pertained to a water level issue. It was one of three things - the panel, the sensor or the level gauge. To repair could be costly as it would be hit or miss. We contacted Samsung and advised them of the problem. At first we were dealing with a woman who appeared very nice (by email). We eventually spoke by phone to a gentleman who just stated that they would only work on the dishwasher if it was still under the one year warranty. Although the warranty was technically up I questioned the fact that two units malfunctioned so obviously it was a manufacturers problems and the warranty should be voided... Well it is now July 2013 and Samsung has still not said, We stand by our products so we will replace the dishwasher..... Hey Samsung...... stick to phones. Leave the appliances to the experts.

Our Samsung RF220N refrigerator was delivered by Best Buy in May 2014. It failed in August 2018. It is now February 2019, and we are into month 6 of the warranty process, without satisfaction. Samsung Authorized repair people determined that the sealed refrigeration system had failed. This was 4 years and 4 months into the 5-year warranty for the closed system. The authorized repair people tried 4 times to repair the system with OEM parts. Each time it has failed within 36 hours. One set of OEM parts from Samsung arrived already broken inside the shipping box. The authorized service company has declared the refrigerator not-repairable using Samsungs own process, yet Samsung will not authorize a replacement or reimbursement, as provided by their own warranty.Samsung Customer Service prevaricates, obfuscates, misdirects, and does not return promised calls/texts/emails. They regularly deny my fridge is under warranty, despite my repeated submission of documentation. I have never spoken to the same person twice, and I suspect they use pseudonyms so contact info can be lost. They deny receiving my emails, and texts, and routinely claim that the last Customer Service person I talked to did not make any notes in the file. They have changed my claim ticket number 8 times. By the bye, the current number is in the 5 billion, 120 millions. That is over 16 claim numbers for every person in the US. At 8 numbers Ive fallen behind the national average. I suspect Samsung is delaying my claim until the warranty period has expired, and then they will deny all responsibility whatsoever. Our extended family has had several other Samsung devices fail: clothes washer, clothes dryer & DVD player. Need I mention the flammable self-combusting cell phones? Fortunately we never had the ice maker in this fridge connected to our plumbing, or we would likely have been in the claims process after only 1 year. Maybe we were unfortunate in that we might have ditched this faulty device long ago. I sincerely believe that a $1500 refrigerator should last longer than my electric toothbrush. We will never buy another Samsung product (yes, we are slow learners). Nevertheless, Never Again.

We purchased a Samsung RF323TE French Door Refrigerator with a Bottom Freezer and Ice Maker in approximately November 2012. Things were working fine until we started noticing a foul smell (like urine) coming from the water out of the dispenser. The water and ice then tasting bad as well. I thought it was the filter, so I bought a new filter, replaced it, and flushed it with several gallons of water through the dispenser as instructed. This worked for about a week, and then the problem returned. I thought I just got a bad filter, so I put a new one in and repeated the process. Shortly after, the problem is now back. I went to the Samsung website to try and troubleshoot it, but I could not find nor enter the model number. I got an error message saying the model number was not found! I have not called them, and I am not sure if we bought the extended warranty from Lowes, but the reports I have read are very discouraging. I will definitely report back, and do more research before my next purchase. Samsung will be hard pressed to get any more of my business.

On August 2, 2018 a complaint was filed with New Jerseys Better Business Bureau against Samsung. The same day the BBB forwarded my complaint to Samsung and to my surprise the same day we received a phone call from Jamie ** from the Office of The President. Mrs. ** set up an appointment with Service Quick to repair the product for August 6, 2018.On August 6, 2018 I received a phone call from the technician assigned to my repair. Before even showing up at my house he told me he didnt have the parts to repair the refrigerator. He also stated that he was unaware of the refrigerator not working. He stated that the compressor issue is outside of his expertise and would need to be rescheduled. We had to wait another week without a refrigerator and I also needed to request another day off of work to accommodate the repair.I reached out to Mrs. ** to receive guidance because of the above miscommunication. Several phone calls and e-mails were sent to Mrs. ** and were never answered. Why reach out to someone to help solve a problem if you are only going to ignore them. It makes the situation much worse than better. Our refrigerator was repaired on Monday August 13, 2018. On Wednesday August 15, 2018 we purchased groceries. We woke up this morning to the freezer failing two days after the repair and losing all groceries that were in the freezer for a second time. Service Quick is wanting us to wait additional time to schedule the repair.During the conversation with Mrs. ** it was expressed that this was a one time accommodation to repair the unit. This ended up being a sealed system repair per the ticket. This is covered under the five year manufactured warranty per the technician and also our paperwork. So I am not sure what the one time accommodation is and why this is being treated as if Samsung is doing us a favor by fixing the product which is still under their manufactured warranty.I have already taken two days off of work between two technicians and now am being asked to take an additional day off of work. I need your assistance in getting someone out here to finalize this repair and/or replacement. Paperwork was given to the repairmen showing the ice-maker had been replaced (4) times previously. Now it has been replaced five times. This certainly falls up under Californias lemon law. As a consumer I have presented the product to the manufacturer or its representative so they could diagnose the defect and repair it. Along with the duty, as a consumer I have the right to expect the product will be repaired honestly and expeditiously. I have left prior to today a total of three telephone messages and three e-mails for Mrs.**. All have remained unanswered.

I have had the worst experience with my FIRST and LAST Samsung purchase. My fridge like many others has the issue of the drain tube freezing causing water to drain into your vegetable drawers and under the drawers. It took me a few months to determine this was actually the fridge causing this and not my kids with water bottles. The first agent I spoke to said well why did you wait so long to call, it’s not like this started yesterday. After explaining that I initially thought my kids were placing open water bottles and they were spilling, I was told that I was not covered under warranty as my unit was made in 2014 even though I didnt purchase it till 2015. The agent asked me for proof of purchase and even after I explained it was purchased from a lease to own I was assured that if I had not had the unit for 2 years I would be covered. I sent in my proof of purchase then was told it was not valid and they needed my lease agreement. I again was assured that once that was sent in that Executive Relations has given the go ahead to cover this issue at no cost. I sent in the lease agreement as requested to then be told that I was OOO since the unit was manufactured in 2014 even after I was told they would cover it. I have spoken to several advisors and not one has been able to locate the previous notes on what has been told to me. This has now been an ongoing back and forth for the last 3 weeks. This is a well-known issue on this model and it’s beyond disappointing that a company like Samsung does not rectify the issue when a customer calls in concerning this WELL KNOWN ISSUE. After 3 weeks of back and forth calling I now have to wait another 24-48 hours for the service company to call me and then I still dont know if I will be covered for this issue. I will not ever purchase a Samsung product just in the fact that they are not willing to make things right with a first time customer with a known issue. Customer service goes a long long way and unfortunately Samsung has proven Im replaceable and dont need me as a customer.

I did receive a refrigerator which causes food spoilage, does not do what it is supposed to and requires me to break ice away on a continuous basis. I require refrigerated medication to keep me alive. My disability makes breaking the ice away difficult and laborious. I bought the refrigerator from HHGregg which closed its doors. They came out twice to repair this same defect. I was not aware that the issue was a known defect until recently and I would like Samsung to be held accountable in cost for repairing this defect in their product. Samsung claims to be a company that cares. The Third party of Alorica is creating an atmosphere of deceit. I have asked for a Supervisor regarding this defect and all they send are anonymous emails with no one to contact.

Bought new Samsung microwave (me21h706mqs) and after one week it caught on fire at the plastic piece in rear corner. Lucky we were at microwave watching or whole house could have caught on fire. Huge plastic smoke and horrible smell. Home Depot response was call Samsung. I asked them to come and take out as it is health hazard. Called Samsung, had to call three different numbers as they cannot transfer, phone technology?? Samsung was not impressed their unit caught fire and really did not care. Said they would sent tech in 2-3 days. UNACCEPTABLE.Basically they hung up on me after I requested someone come out on Monday to remove. Do you think if this happened to the GM at Samsung they would have treated it as routine maintenance? It is now 2 hours after Samsung was supposed to be here and no word yet. Going to replace with ANY other brand than Samsung. If you look at these reviews you see many fires. Cant believe they still are selling them. Buyer beware.

Samsung 4-door fridges ice maker is junk. $2,000 Samsung fridge breaks after 2-1/2 years! I had a Maytag for 22 years and it never was serviced and was still running fine when I retired it for peace of mind. Enter Samsung - so much for peace of mind. Ice maker began leaking before a year was up. Kept removing ice buildup. But at 2-1/2 years, the ice maker quit working. Motor was bad. Water sprayed around tray from supply hose encased in ice. Locked ice tray in place, so couldnt remove. Stopped producing ice. Service rep was good (no complaint), but cost quoted at $300 for service call and new motor. Water supply hose issue cant be resolved. Obviously, lots of ice maker issues posted here. Shame on Samsung. Cant make ice; cant make phones.

I bought a brand new Samsung convection range NE59J7651WS, and it is only 23 months old. I have only used the self clean function twice before, and before this cycle completed the control panel fried and stopped working. Now I have to find a repair company to fix this. I noticed there are hundreds of customers that have the same issue and I think it would be appropriate for Samsung be accountable for this issue. A recall should happen and if not a class-action lawsuit may be started. Im all for that!! I will definitely never buy another Samsung appliance again!

I bought the Samsung French 4 door refrigerator October 29, 2015 but it was not delivered until November 21, 2016. None in stock at Jetsons Appliance Center. In November 4, 2016 I called to question the ice cube maker not making cubed ice and having water come out with the ice. I did what they suggested but no help. Then started the paper and date trail. They did send someone to fix it in Dec. and said that it was out of warranty but would accommodate. The service company has been here 4 times and they are sending them out a 5th time but now say that the warranty starts from purchase date so even though I started this within the year it was in my possession this was the best they can do. Do they really only warranty from purchase date, why pay for their product until installed then?

One year after purchase, just after the warranty period finished, we found water freezing under and in the vegetable drawers. A month later we realized the paint was peeling off the handles. Searches online indicated other customers with the water problem had multiple service calls with no solution. Thinking that perhaps Samsung had found the solution since those calls happened, I tried contacting them. Since I had read of the same problem and the cause, I defrosted my fridge and was able to describe to Samsung exactly what was happening... but they wanted to send a service tech and charge me for the visit. I did not want to go through the useless repairs that other customers have gone through with no guarantee on their repairs, so we have not had a repairman. Every two or three months we defrost the fridge. Now the handles are looking awful and I dont know if they can do anything other than replace them with handles that have the same defect. I would like some real customer service from Samsung, but I just get boilerplate answers.

I bought this 1 1/2 years ago and after owning it for six months, we had to have the electric panel replaced due to the water filter light not resetting. We replaced the water filter, and we could not get the light to reset and go off. Here we are, a year later, and the refrigerator freezer has quit running. The door is reading OF. When I called Samsung, the representative told me it was in store demo mode. How it would have gotten there, I have no idea. It is just my husband and me in the house! She told me to hit a couple of buttons at the same time to reset it. Well, guess what? That didnt work. She then told me that a service man would give me a call within 24 to 48 hours to schedule an appointment. I talked to her on Friday afternoon and it is now almost 10:00 am on Monday morning, and I am still waiting for that call. I thought by spending over $2k on a refrigerator, it would last more than 1 1/2 years. What a big disappointment!

We paid $2700 for a Samsung refrigerator with an extended five year warranty. A few months after the warranty ran out, the compressor died. For $95, Samsung’s repairman recommended buying a new refrigerator rather than paying over $1000 for the repair. Samsung Support recommended finding an unauthorized repairman that might do the repair at a lower price. Meanwhile, we are using our 29 year old Hotpoint refrigerator that we have in our garage.

Lets starts with the nice sturdy looking knobs. The inside is a piece of plastic that breaks within a month. The NX58H5600SS convection oven is worse than a normal oven and takes longer to cook food. 4 short months after the warranty was up, it starts randomly beeping and giving me a -SE- on the screen. Wont even show the time. None of the buttons work even after all the troubleshooting. Troubleshooting for this code is just push off button. Ok well the buttons dont work. So unplug for 30 seconds. Now that thats done it is still displaying the -SE-. Thanks Samsung as a service call will cost at least 300 to come fix it according to other reviews. What a piece of crap this oven is. Will never buy Samsung anything again. Not like they even care! My tv, all my phones, washers, dryers, nothing ever again! And the service call person sounded like she couldnt give 2 craps seeing as how she told me it was her Friday. Wasnt even concerned that I just spent $900 on a stove that ** the bed 16 months later!!! Bad Samsung! BAD!

We remodeled our entire kitchen - floor to ceiling. We went to get appliances from Lowes. I liked the looks of all the Samsung, and the blue lights. We have had nothing but problems with the dishwasher. It been repaired 5 times already. One repairman came to fix and ran the dishwasher to hear noise and dumped dishwasher all over my floors and they needed towels to clean up the mess. The worst part was it went down into the vents and we couldn’t get it out. So when the heat comes on, it smells bad. They called last week when we had an appt. to look again. They cancelled the appt. after 6pm and before we had 2 calls saying they were coming. They totally inconvenienced us. Where is the point when someone says youve gone through too much and get a recall on this item or Samsung step up and say we will just replace the item?

The fan in the refrigerator made a horrible noise. The ice maker stopped working within 2 years. Once we turned it off there was a lot of moisture in the fridge. The back inside had chunks of ice. The temperature was about 52. We threw out food often. To get this fixed would have cost too much money. Samsung does not stand behind this. Bought my Samsung Stainless Steel Gas slide-in range #NX58H9500WS on March 26, 2016. Last week after the holidays on 12/27/17 decided to use the self cleaning oven for very first time (oven was only lightly soiled). I picked the short 2hr cycle since it was the first time using the cleaning feature. About an hour later noticed the display lights were all off and oven was not running. Oven door was locked. The knobs and display panel were hot. Waited for it to cool down for hours. Nothing changed. Luckily the stove top still worked! Called PC Richards for my extended warranty service. A week later the repair tech came and said he has seen this problem many times before and that it is a known design flaw of the range and suggested I clean the stove manually from now on! I couldn’t believe what I was hearing - after spending over $2000.00 on a new range I am supposed to clean it by hand? The tech ordered the 3 hidden thermal fuses and will return to repair when they come in. If that does not unlock the oven door he states it could be that the motherboard was also fried and need to be replaced. Luckily I have an extended warranty but if I attempt to use the self clean again will this happen all over again. I will be contacting Samsung for the answer. I am 60 yrs old and have never had to clean any oven manually before and don’t intend to start now! Apparently this is a known flaw and this product should be recalled by Samsung. I will wait until the tech returns with the parts (hopefully within another 2 weeks) and everything is fixed and then intend to contact Samsung again. This is a major inconvenience, not having an oven for at least 3-4 weeks. I hear the customer service and satisfaction at Samsung is less than adequate but I am relentless and will not accept this situation. I will keep you posted.

Purchased all new kitchen appliances with the microwave being one of the Samsung products. The original one we ordered they had to swap out with another unit due to they could not sell the original anymore. We were having multiple error codes, and they sent a service Contractor out under a warranty call, and they assumed it was the motherboard, which they replaced. Well that didnt work, in fact it was worse. Called for them to come out and repair it under the warranty. Seeing the 1st time did not work, so they sent out a service Contractor who replaced the door. In fact it was even worse with the microwave shutting down when cooking and still having error codes. Called Samsung backed and had to argue with them to send someone out to fix the microwave due to it was still not repaired from original warranty so called repair. They agreed after talking to a supervisor and they sent a service Contractor out, where he looked on a website and it showed an issue with the fan. They replaced the fan, but a week later the unit was still having the same problems with the same error codes and an additional new error code. Called Samsung again and they were going to do an accommodation, which in essence is an exchange. I had to send copies of the purchases that Lowes sent me, and waited for answers as usual, so I called back and said that because it was out of warranty they werent going to do an accommodation. Because they didnt fix the microwave from the initial warranty repair, and the delay game, and do not stand behind the product, I am stuck with a defective unit. I would stay away from Samsung kitchen appliances, and glad we didnt purchase all of our appliances with Samsung.

I am unhappy and very disappointed in our new dishwasher, delivered almost two months ago. I would not recommend this product to anyone! Not one load has come back totally clean! We were told to rinse of dishes and use a bleach based detergent and use a rinse aid. We do that! Residue still appears in glasses, bowls, etc. The rack is awkward and hard to fit dishes in, glasses tend to fall over. Never had this problem before. We were told Samsung was a good product when we were looking at refrigerators, stoves, etc. We bought all appliances to match. What a joke this dishwasher has been. Would like to get a new one! Our old Kenmore worked perfect but it was white, switched to stainless steel. Stainless steel gets dirty fast. Thought it wouldnt bug me to wipe it down. Ugh! What a pain! My wife and I bought a Samsung RT5000K Top Freezer Twin Cooling Plus™, 350 L refrigerator for Courts Jamaica Limited. The first month the front plastic on the tray under the freezer compartment split down the middle while it was being wiped off. It was as if it had dry rotted. In the first three months the door started to bubble and this is the one that has the stainless steel look. They replaced the skin after a lot of complaining and then the door would hardly close by itself when they were done and they left all the plastic on.Now the rubbers are starting to crack on the door and we have not had the thing a year yet. The door is making a creaking sound once in a while when you open it and the refrigerator from day one has been making weird sounds. It also runs very hot and for an inverter type, the electric bill has not gone down at all. Have been trying to find the year of manufacture and cant seem to get any answers. I believe it was in storage a long time before being sold. Very disappointed and would never buy one again. Will continue to take to social media to get some answers. I had the issues with my fridge in Jamaica and I was able to get support sending an email to **.
