We ordered this fridge (Samsung door in door side by side) Nov. 29 2017. It was delivered Dec 23 and later that day the water dispenser started leaking. LOWES CAME BACK and put two little clamps on the water line. It still leaked so they ordered another one. We have now had 3 New fridge delivered and all leak. Well we decided on a GE fridge we are for delivery.

I called Samsung 2 times to complain about the drawers on our fridge. When you put anything in them they come off runners and fall through to drawer below. They said a service person could come out but if they were not defective we would be charged for visit. I know there is a defect even though nothing is broken on inside but I am not going to be charged by someone who says its not broken. They were no help. All the lady did was apologize 20 times and said nothing else could be done.

In 2010 I purchased five Samsung appliances with a five-year extended warranty. Shortly after the first year every one of the appliances had issues. I emailed Samsung and they did not even have the courtesy to reply. The stove had so many replacement parts, it was practically a rebuilt and finally deemed a lemon by Samsung. The dishwasher never cleaned well from the start despite following all the guidelines, had major parts replaced and finally stopped working all together. It was deemed a lemon and replaced. The fridge had water pooling in and under a crisper. That problem was fixed after three service calls and now it is doing the same thing. The washer stopped dispensing hot water and had major parts replaced. The dryer element burned out right after one year and then the door started having trouble staying closed. The dryer was less than three years old and Samsung could not supply a replacement door. The dishwasher was finally replaced with a new one and is nowhere near the quality of the first model. It will be a year old in June and is already having cleaning issues. The stove and dryer were three years old on an extended warranty when Samsung offered a buy out. I assumed that meant they would be paying enough money to replace the appliances. After all, the warranty states they would fix or replace defective appliances. That was not the case. The buyout fell short of actually being able to replace the same items. Dont fall for that song and dance. I thought I was buying a good name and good quality with Samsung. I was not.

This series DW80F600 dishwasher showed signs of high temperature heating errors when it was only 10 months old. We called support and were told that it would cost a certain amount ($273.43 to be exact) to have someone come and look at the machine. Just look at it, not fix it! WE went ahead and had them look at the problem and of course, the part needed wasnt under any sort of warranty. Now just over a year old and we are are stuck with a $498.75 bill for a machine that still doesnt work. The error lights came back on the very next day! We could have purchased a brand new dishwasher for much less and gotten much better results. I am warning all who think purchasing this machine, to rethink that plan!! This is the worst dishwasher on the market.

I bought a Samsung RF266 in 2008 after reading reviews on several websites about how convenient and reliable they were. Talk about bunk, I really wonder if these companies pay for those endorsements. I have had nothing but problems with this pile of junk. The ice maker falls apart constantly and rarely works right. And then, the fridge completely froze up inside. The repairman told me to let it thaw out 24 hours before he can come work on it (what am I supposed to do with the food in the meantime?). And then, he said hes not sure whats wrong with it. He spent an hour on the phone with a Samsung tech (which he charged me $48 for) and replaced a part that took 3 days to get. That didnt fix it. He rebated the labor but I was still stuck with the part ($65). I waited 3 more days for another part, which still didnt fix it. Two days later, we got another part, which did fix it. Samsung technical said that both parts were bad. I paid $1,800 for the unit. And I have, to date, spent nearly $900 in repair bills, not to mention what Ive suffered in food loss. Im also told there is a class action lawsuit over this issue that Im having. But I cant find access to the site where I can get in on it. My best advice: If you really want to buy a Samsung, buy an extra fridge in case the main Samsung goes down.

I purchased a Samsung rf267aers refrigerator 12/01/09. The issue with this unit is the following. We the owners of this unit all (have) the same problem. Lousy design of defrost system allows the defrosted water to freeze in the discharge tube so it overflows into the lower platform under the pull out shelf. When it freezes, it freezes the roller wheel on the bottom of the shelf in the layer of ice and it wont move until you defrost the fridge to the point it releases. There are YouTube videos of how to defrost the coils but Samsung has known about this forever and wont fix it.So every month I remove the bottom tray and remove the built up ice slab. Now I have called samsung several times. Samsungs directions defrost the refrigerator. But even that process DO NOT solve the problem. ONCE unit was turned on again the SAME problem returned. I once inquired to samsung tech people how much it would cost me to fix the problem $700-$800 with NO GUARANTEE. BUT THEY WOULD put the old parts back. Of course I would have to pay for the labor for the install and removal that was about $165-320. Samsung bad NEWS.

We purchased our Samsung French door refrigerator (Model #RF263BEAESR) in March of 2013. What a piece of junk and to add insult to injury... poor customer service from Samsung. The unit does not defrost properly on its own. We have been experiencing ice build up behind the back interior panel of the fridge compartment. The ice builds up to such an amount that the fan blades can be heard scraping the ice build up, which is an unpleasant sound along with the motor groaning at times. In addition, we have been dealing with water leaking from the back panel onto the shelves and inside the bins.Contacted Samsung and they arranged for the only authorized service repair company in our area (40 miles away) to contact me. Set up an appointment with them. On the afternoon of the appointment (while Im sitting at home waiting for them during the time block they arranged) they call to cancel. Then when I try to reschedule they keep offering only morning times which I told them I could not do. I got so frustrated with the whole ordeal I simply told them to forget it. Then when I email Samsung with my frustrations they reply with bunch of B.S. that did nothing to correct the problem or stand behind their product. Now after only being 3 years old, I am replacing this giant piece of crap with a new refrigerator because I am so disgusted with Samsung.Go to YouTube and you will see how to videos on how to attempt to fix Samsung refrigerators with the exact same issues we are having. And there are countless horror stories on ConsumerAffairs.com of people having the same issues with their Samsung fridges. Not to mention in 2010 there was a class action lawsuit against Samsung for the exact same issues with some of their fridges. But yet Samsung has the audacity to tell me they are not aware of any such issues with their refrigerators. Funny how the appliance place we purchased our replacement fridge from no longer carries Samsung. Do yourself a favor, steer clear of Samsung for appliances... Period. They are a piece of junk and the company is horrible to deal with.

Purchased the Samsung French door refrigerator in mid-July 2014 (model #RF217ACRS/XAA) from HOME DEPOT and in mid-November 2014, while still under warranty, it stopped working completely and is currently sitting in my kitchen. I called the Samsung 800-726-7864 number on 11/6 to report the failure and ask for service. The woman I spoke to asked me to describe the problem which was that even though the digital readings at the top said the frig was 38F and the freezer was -2F, the food in the freezer had thawed and all items in the frig were warm. I asked for service and she gave me a transaction number (which I recorded) and said a technician would call within 24 hours. On 11/7 no call came in, so I called the service Center at 800-905-9505. They had no repair order for me and told me to call 800-726-7864, which I did and spoke to Frank, who said he would schedule the service and gave me a confirmation number. On 11/8, no technician called so I called the service number again. Again, I was told by Angel, no service order had been created. I went to the website and began an online chat with Vance ** who gave me more numbers (which I recorded) and referred me back to the 800-726-7864. After the chat they asked me to fill out a survey, which I was so happy to do and related the above travails. I then called the 800-726-7864 number again and got a recording that the line was closed for the weekend. On Sunday, 11/9, Samsung employee called and reviewed the previous transactions. She didnt know why the service had not been scheduled and scheduled it for me for Monday, 11/11 between 1-5 p.m. (ticket # **). To double check, I called the 800-905-9505 number to see if they had the order and they did. Monday morning at 8:33 a.m., I received a message from Jason at the service center canceling the appointment as his technicians were ill and was told to call the 800-905-9505 number and reschedule. The repair is currently schedule for Thursday, 11/12 between 8 a.m.-12 p.m. Well see if they show up and if so, what the repair is likely to be. Based on the reviews of these Samsung products I have read here, I am not optimistic that this product will every operate correctly. I would be very interested in joining with others about actions that can be taken to remedy this complete failure to back their products or provide customer service.

Bought a Samsung refrigerator in May from Home Depot. They were on sale and was what we needed to fit the area we had. Four months into it, my wife comes to me saying its not cold, all of the frozen food was thawed and its a mess. After throwing everything out, I called Samsung repair. Talked to someone in India who read from a script. She directed me to some tests I should do first. I did them, didnt work. Called again, more tests. All I want is my fridge fixed. Its under warranty. Whats the problem? Its that they are told not to send anyone and that the consumer should be satisfied spending $1,796.43 for a fridge that worked 4 months. Tomorrow, I am prepared to start the fight. Class action please.

Less than two years ago we purchased a package which included a refrigerator, oven, microwave and dishwasher. Two weeks after the warranty expired my refrigerator started to leak and the vegetable pullout drawer froze up. I called Samsung but was told they cant help me. Several months later the dishwasher flashed a light on the panel informing of a leak. I called a repairman and needed that repaired. Keeping my fingers crossed that nothing goes wrong with my stove and microwave. I would stay away from Samsung products. Unfortunately, I didn’t read reviews about this brand.

The cost to repair we were told could be around 500.00 DOLLARS which is too much for a new fridge. Now we have to buy ice because there is no way to put ice in the maker. I have spent enough money on repairs. I should have bought a good refrigerator. Never again...

The doors to my Samsung refrigerator are supposed to be stainless steel, but they are rusting. I have cleaned the stainless using mild soap, hot water to clear gunk, then wipe and apply a high quality stainless polish. I started seeing the rust a couple of months ago and have been cleaning them up. Although I am cleaning them, the rust is now starting to pit. This refrigerator is only 15 months old! I bought through Sears including the warranty, but they are saying rust is not covered as it is a cosmetic item. I called Samsung and they immediately said there was nothing they would do as this is a cosmetic item. If this were steel or if I had been scrubbing the front with steel wool, etc., I could understand their stance, but this has been well cared for. By the way, did I say this was our second refrigerator in one year?! The first one died within a month, three days before Thanksgiving! Sears says theyd send a tech in two weeks! The local Sears store sent a new fridge out the next day, but we lost $400 worth of food and although we bought the extra protection for spoiled food from Sears, they would not cover the food as a tech did not look at the refrigerator first! So, next with our new refrigerator, we have had two icemakers and still have lots of problems with it! I would not recommend this refrigerator to anyone! Neither Sears nor Samsung would do anything for me regarding this issue. So my $1200, 13-month-old investment from Sears is now rusting in my climate-controlled home! I do not recommend either Sears or Samsung as they have lied about the material this refrigerator is made from.

We purchased a 3 door, 26 CU.Ft. French door Samsung refrigerator with an indoor water dispenser in November of 2012. Approximately a year and a half after the purchase, our refrigerator started making strange noises and there was water spilling out. We contacted Samsung and later had a technician from Best Buy come out and diagnose the refrigerator. Luckily he was able to repair it - he explained that the refrigerator had to be defrosted as the coils had frozen over. Since then, every five to six months we have had to defrost our refrigerator to keep it working. Ice builds up and the cooling element fails. We now keep a close eye on the fridge. The first time it froze over we lost food. Since then we have moved quick to defrost it before it appears to be running warm. But we do worry about the regular cooling in light of this problem. At bottom, this is not what we expected from our purchase. We bought a brand new refrigerator and have not received the quality we expected.

We purchased a Samsung refrigerator with freezer on bottom and double upper doors. It is 5 years old and every year we get water under the pull out tray. Yesterday I soaked up three large beach towels worth of water. Chilled out 1/2 ice that covered about 25% of space under drawer. The water gets so bad that it runs down on hard wood and warps it. Seems too happy when humidity is bad... Summer months. No repairman likes to work on Samsung. Great, but they should not be selling refrigerators. 4-door stainless frig doors rusting - Purchased 5/12. Began noticing rust on lower doors within a few months which has since spread to all 4 doors. Requested service 9/14 after numerous calls to Samsung and Lowes with feedback that it was a cosmetic issue and therefore not addressed. Tech visited and confirmed rust on all doors. Cleaning product was approved stainless steel cleaner. 3 other stainless steel appliances in home have no rust (other brands). Purchased at Lowes online. Have been told by Lowes that Samsung doesnt warranty cosmetic issues. This is NOT a cosmetic issue but a moisture issue from inside the unit. Where there is moisture there is rust and potentially mold. For all we know the inside of the doors is covered with mold. Do not buy Samsung refrigerators... engineering/design issues without adequate product/service support!

I bought Samsung microwave model SMH9187ST in March 2011 and just got the SE/5E code. After reading hundreds of similar complaints, I contacted Samsung. They are sending a service repair company to replace the control panel free of charge even though it is out of warranty. I was told that this was considered an epidemic type of issue that Samsung is aware of. If after the replacement of the control panel I am still receiving the error message, then the control box will need to be replaced at my expense. I just wanted to share with anyone who is just now getting this error code that Samsung will work with you on some level. Better than nothing, I guess.

We constructed a new home and purchased a full set of appliances made by Samsung and have had major regret with the decision. We purchased extended warranty and have had to use the services on most of them. We have now had to change to a different manufacturer of dishwasher that the warranty has just ended. Now the fridge door needs to be replaced as the lower shelf mount has broken and the mount is part of the entire door which has all the electronics integrated. The shelf above that one is broken as well. We just called Samsung support to ask for support prior to filing a complaint and they offer none, only a toll free number for parts. As a result of our experience we will never purchase another Samsung product. Completely dissatisfied.

I like the fact that that you can have two separate oven space with two different temperature settings or one large one. On top of the range are 5 burners & each one is a different size. The middle long burner is nice for a griddle. It would be nice if one of the smaller burners was up front. The large burner is a real power house & I seldom use it. When I do use it, the low setting is plenty & sometimes still too much. The oven door window is large enough to see in either top or bottom oven. The black top is hard to keep clean & with any stove the front knobs get splattered with grease but they come off for easier cleaning.

Had this refrigerator for 10 years and had problems with the freezer size. The service dept sucks!!! With Samsung, no regular appliance repair will touch it since they cannot source any spares unless you are an authorized service center. Result = lousy service!! We had the tech come in last month and after talking to some superiors over the phone half the time, said it was a thermostat issue. No spare on hand despite the fact that the symptoms were well described to the Samsung call in center over 2 calls of 30 mins each. Replaced a thermostat which he claimed was not meant for this model and guess what? Broke down in 1 month and had to call again. Despite asking for not sending the same guy again, they sent him. Fine, this time he opened out the fridge fully and claimed some more parts are defective and could not explain why this could not be determined earlier. Anyway, long story short, we went out and bought a GE fridge and decided NEVER SAMSUNG again.

I have the Samsung RF267AEBP purchased from Sears ($2,100+) 01/02/2011. Shortly after the basic 1-year warranty ran out, the unit began routinely freezing up due to the known failure of the defrost cycle and/or heating coils and sensors malfunctioning. When the ice builds up over time, it locks up the fan motor from the glacier of ice (sounds horrible like a screech owl). Like others on this post and all over the Internet, I have to force the RF267AEBP into a manual defrost; when the ice melts, it fills the space under the Deli/Crisper drawer with water. The first time this happened, we did not realize that the ice could not drain normally due to a defective drain (Note: The defrost water drain has been reported to be too short to drain properly after the refrigerator goes through a defrost cycle). So, after turning the unit back on, the backed up water that pools under the Deli/Crisper drawer freezes into a solid two feet by one inch sheet of ice! Not knowing what was going on, we could not get the Deli/Crisper opened without pulling very hard on it and that brought the entire sheet of ice out and onto the kitchen floor, creating one big dangerous mess! Now, the ice maker is making loud clicking and banging sounds, and the ice maker has malfunctioned too with inconsistent delivery of odd sized ice cubes (more like chunks of ice) and it, too, now freezes up. We have regularly replaced the filter (@ $30+ each) that does basically nothing but filter water for the ice maker and the water dispenser. This has been the most frustrating and expensive major appliance ownership experience I have ever had with a major appliance in over 40+ years of home ownership.Samsung, you should provide us customers that have suffered through the purchase and repair of this known defective refrigerator full refunds for these known manufacturer defective refrigerators and/or provide a totally brand new replacement of equal value regardless of the customer’s choice. This is an expensive major appliance and we should not be having these problems that are clearly a quality control problem of widespread proportions. If I am not contacted by your warranty and customer relations department with a satisfactory resolution, I will be forced to sign on to the class action suit and add my model to the long and growing list of models already posted on the website. I will also have my day in small claims court for not just the cost of the defective refrigerator, but also for the spoiled food cost of replacement, labor and repair cost, and my lost work/wages due to having to take off work to deal with the overall malfunctioning of your Samsung RF267AEBP.By the way, my paperwork from Samsung that came with my refrigerator clearly states, Your Satisfaction is Samsungs # 1 Priority - Do not return to store. Well, Samsung, here is your opportunity to step up and simply do the right thing, especially since you are on record claiming that my satisfaction is Samsungs #1 priority.

Purchased a Samsung from Home Depot April 14. I call Samsung about every four months for two issues. 1- the refrigerator is growling and making monster noises and 2 - another piece of the inside broke to pieces. Another shelf, drawer etc. cracked, broke or crumbled and has to be secured with flex tape or thrown in the garbage because it is unusable. See pictures. Its completely unbelievable!Hours on the phone with Home Depot (where we bought the additional warranty) and they send us to Samsung & Samsung sends us to National Factory Service for diagnostic and at a cost to us: $85. They heard. They came. They saw. They did nothing. Just head scratches and the words: PARTS OUT OF WARRANTY. When I call Samsung these days, they try to sell me an extended warranty for $129, which doesnt cover the parts. I mean have you ever? Its such a joke! There is a class action lawsuit against Samsung ~ apparently for the icemaker + and, yes, our icemaker gives us non stop issues.

Had repairman come out and he put some type of foil on it and the fan started working again, cost 200.00. Now 3/29/16 it started again. Wonder how much it will be this time. My Samsung refrigerator is a a few years old and has had the same problems. I had problems with the leak/icing up under the drink pull out tray also. Now, the power went off in our neighborhood and when it came back on, the control panel only shows 86 88 and it doesnt respond to touch. The door has started to rust below the ice dispenser due to moisture from the small catch tray. This is not my first Samsung appliance either. I threw away a washer & dryer set I bought that had multiple problems after one year. I too will not purchase any appliances from Samsung. The TVs seem to be working fine. I have two Samsung flat panels. I replaced all of my appliances with Maytag and eliminated all my problems.

Oh, my gosh. 28cf French Door, luckily with a five-year extended warranty. After less than 2 years, plastic crisper drawers cracked. Since we just moved in, there was minimal items in drawers. They said it was normal wear and tear. Original owner was 85 years old, for goodness sakes. Last year, ice maker froze, was replaced, and froze again. Christmas 2018, whole back wall was all ice. Tech had to stream it to melt. Had to come back with part. Oops. Had to come back again with more parts because back wall was cracked. Samsung claimed it was cosmetic damage. I would not settle for that. Customer service is horrible! The extended warranty company did not want to cover cosmetic damage. I sent a full backup package, with a timeline, to our AG Consumer office and filed a complaint. Shortly after that, I received a check for the purchase price as a warranty buy out. DO NOT BUY A SAMSUNG!

This thing has leaked water for 2 years. Now there is ice coming through all of the air vents. The digital temperature control doesnt work. I called a repairman this morning and gave him the make and model. He calmly advised me to take it outside and throw it into the street. He said if I had a gun, I should shoot it. He couldnt in good conscience take my money in a vain attempt to repair what he called the biggest piece of crap refrigerator ever manufactured. I took his advice and bought a Frigidaire.

I bought all new Samsung appliances for my kitchen remodel - 22cuft Family Flex Refrigerator w/ door computer, Samsung Washer/Dryer and a Samsung 5-Burner 5.8-cu ft Self-cleaning True Convection Freestanding Gas Range (Black Stainless Steel) Model # NX58M6630SG. Within two years the refrigerator computer has issues, the ice cube maker constantly froze solid and FINALLY Samsung replaced. Now the black stainless paint on my $1200 gas range is peeling off! Contacting Samsung and Im told thats cosmetic damage due to wear and tear.Samsung products are expensive but under the surface are inferior appliances that start top fail shortly after the 1 year warranty period. In the case of the peeling paint off the range, that isnt even covered during the warranty period. Stay away from Samsung. Do not spend good money on their inferior appliances. They are impossible to work with to resolve issues. I will not be letting this most recent defect go without lots of complaining with Lowes where they were purchased and with Samsung. I will be filing a lawsuit against Samsung for replacement cost of the gas range.

We purchased this dishwasher (Samsung DMR77 Stainless Dishwasher) about 2 years ago, paid $800 for it. It has never cleaned right from the beginning. After a couple of months, the stainless front door panel started pitting. I contacted the company and they tried to make it my fault. Now, the motor is making this high pitched noise that is very irritating. I suspect the motor bearings are shot. I replaced a 10-year-old Maytag machine that was still working fine. My wife wanted to remodel the kitchen and go with stainless, so we bought a Samsung stainless refrigerator, dishwasher and microwave. This dishwasher is a piece of junk and I am going to toss it and buy a Whirlpool for about 40 percent less than I paid for this junk. I will never buy a Samsung product again.

We bought a Samsung refrigerator, model RS2630SH and have had multiple problems with it. Like many others who have reviewed Samsung refrigerators, ours too leaves water and ice at the bottom of the unit. You have to get a rubber hammer sometimes to dislodge it. We have had the compressor fail, and the unit stills gets hot. We had to pay for all repairs as the warranty is worthless. The ice maker freezes up. I could go on and on. We also bought a Samsung dishwasher. It does an extremely poor job of washing dishes. In fact, you have to pre-wash everything by hand. We will never buy a Samsung product again.

After that, about 6 months one of the 2 large burners would come on and stay on high regardless of the position of the controller. After two almost fires the burner quit and now doesn’t work. Delivery was a joke as they cancelled a promised Saturday delivery. I had to drive a town away to pick it up myself after waiting a week and then they cancelled appt. Next, 5 months later dishwasher leaked all over my kitchen floor and it hadnt been turned on yet. Customer no service overseas a joke. Said I should have bought a warranty. Told them I didnt have a crystal ball and if Id known it was a cruddy product I wouldnt have purchased it in the first place. Had to pull all my dishes and wash by hand. Waiting to hear from them to fix it. Dont want it but refused to take it back. Damage to floor.

I know Samsung makes some good appliances but I got stuck with a lemon and no one wants to take care of the problem. My wife and I purchased 4 Samsung appliances from HHGregg late September of 2013 and spent over $3500.00. No problems with 3 of them but the fridge has been nothing but a pain. First ball bearings fell out of the freezer drawer. Got it fixed. The ice cube maker has been giving us problems since weve had it. To make a long story short we found out it was not sealed properly. Had it fixed I thought, then 3 days later it started doing the same thing but worse. Was without our fridge for 5 days. Been in contact with Samsung for almost a week now and still dont have an answer. They wanted a copy of the invoice thinking they were going to give me a new one. Recd another call last night from Samsung and the lady asked me if the problem with the fridge was fixed after being on the phone the same day with them explaining my problems for the 4th or 5th time. I said you got to be kidding. Dont you people communicate with one another. All I can say is dont have a problem with your Samsung appliances or anything you buy from HHGregg because they will put you through hell trying to get the problem taken care of. After you buy something from HHGregg you’re on your own. They pretty much blew me off. Terrible customer service.

I bought Samsung dishwasher and a Samsung refrigerator. A little after a year our dishwasher went out. Samsung sent out a repairman. It cost us a little over $200.00 dollars to get fixed. A few months later it stopped working again. Decided to get rid of the dishwasher. The icemaker and the fridge part of our refrigerator stopped working. Samsung referred us to Service Quick to repair it. The serviceman told us the ice maker will need to be replaced and to fix the fridge he will need a sensor. The cost would be $900.00 and $200.00 service call. I called Samsung again and they do nothing for people who buy their products. DO NOT BUY ANY SAMSUNG PRODUCTS. For over 3 weeks, I have reached out to Samsung Customer Service to get a resolution on a new stove that never worked. No one has helped me yet. Below is a summary of the contacts I have made. My last two attempts to contact customer service have left me at a dead end. I was told there was no number for me to contact and that I must wait to receive a call from Samsungs Office of the President. After over 3 weeks without a stove and not a single follow-up call from Samsung, you can only imagine how frustrating this is. I have not cooked on a stove for over 3 weeks now.On 9-15-2012, I bought a new stove from Lowes in Fort Collins, Colorado. On 9-17-2012, I contacted Samsung Customer Service to report that the stove top did not work and caused large electrical surges in my house. On 9-19-2012, I called Customer Service again because no one had called me back. They apologized for the slow follow-up and got me in touch with Elite Services, a repair company in Greeley, CO.On 9-21-2012, the service company looked at the stove and determined that the entire mechanical components of the stove top needed to be replaced. According to the service company, an order was placed through Samsung. On 10-3-2012, after no follow-ups from Samsung or the repair company, I called again, only to determine that Samsung dropped the ball and that nothing was happening. From what I gathered, the part for my brand-new stove was no longer made and they would see if there was some sort of alternative part. My confidence continued to dissipate. On 10-3-2012, I emailed the Office of the CEO through the Samsung Customer Service website and received an automated reply that I would be contacted in 1-2 business days. On 10-8-2012 at 8:30, I contacted customer service again since I have not received any calls from Samsung. They basically told me my issue was being reviewed by a manager and that someone would be in touch with me by the end of the day.On 10-8-2012 at 4:00 PM, after not hearing back from Samsung, I called again. They said the issue was being handled by the Office of the President. It was not possible for me to speak to anyone, but someone would call me possibly that night. I could not call anyone in the Office of the President. I was told they would have to call me. There was a refusal to put me in touch with a person that had the authority to handle my issue. Again, I was told to be patient and wait.On 10-9-2012 9:45 AM after not hearing back from Samsung, I called again and of course, got the same answer. Customer service could not help me nor provide any answers. I must only wait for someone from the Office of the President to call me. A timeline was not provided and I was told that there was nothing else that customer service or I could do but to just wait for a call back.I researched a phone number for Samsung corporate, 201-229-4000. I was put on hold and waited to speak with customer service from the Office of the President. After a couple of minutes, a message came on and said the call volume was too high and to leave a message and theyll call me back. Through research, I think the President of this Samsung department is David Choi.Certainly, I am very disappointed with the complete lack of care, concern, follow-through, etc., from Samsung on a brand new product. I am very concerned that there is no confidence on the proper repair for a part that is no longer made. I wont settle for anything but a repair that makes the stove operate like new, or a new stove. I have not had a stove to cook on for over 3 weeks now and I have given Samsung ample time to correct this. Here is an excerpt from Samsung’s Code of Conduct: 12 - Principle 3. We respect customers, shareholders and employees. The Company will endeavor to reach just resolutions of customer-related disputes and will respond to the complaints of customers in a transparent, timely and effective manner. This has not been transparent, timely or effective.

First off, I would like to say I never take the time to write out a review regarding a item. This just shows how unsatisfied I am with my purchase. I would definitely not recommend this product to anyone. Do not buy any SAMSUNG product. The customer service reps do not offer any customer service. They do not know how to treat customers even after the crap their company has released in the recent years. Lets not forget about the blowing up of the cell phones and laundry machines. My complaint is about their refrigerators and how I have spent over $600 trying to fix the ice dispenser. The ice dispenser freezes up and does not slide out. It seems like the fridge is leaking water and causing the entire tray to freeze. The ice cubes are not in proper ice cube form. The ice cubes look like slushy. I complained to the customer service rep and their answer regarding my complaint was Sorry your item has passed the 1 year warranty for parts. I told the rep there are over 2000 complaints about this ice dispenser on the internet. I previously owned a GE profile refrigerator for over 17 years and never had one issue with it! The customer rep told me they do not go by the complaints on the internet for their products. I asked if they had any other solution and the rep told me once again Sorry the product has passed the one year warranty for the replacement items. If the company cannot offer a solution for their defective products, I will not ever in my life purchase a Samsung product. I will make sure I make this clear to all of my family members and friends. I have had this refrigerator for only a little over 2 years. Samsung teach your service reps how to resolve issues and test your products before releasing them. You shouldnt be telling your customers to fix a problem and have them pay $300 to get it fixed. Even your crappy service reps dont have a solution for your defective products. I am a very unsatisfied customer. I will have to go buy a new refrigerator since this issue is not being resolved.

Our town experienced a power outage which cause our 10-month-old Samsung Refrigerator electrical/digital problems - freezer/fridge temperature indicator pad reading 88/88. This also controls ice and water so those are out also. Fortunately the freezer and refrigerator as still cooling, but I have no idea if this is to the correct temperature. Samsung 1st year warranty service is so far a joke. I called Samsung and they gave me the number of the warranty service contact for my area said they would call them and tell them it was urgent. Samsung gave an old number for Service Click and I tracked them down. They were to call in two or three days (thankfully the food is still cold). This is the fourth day so I called them. I was put on hold for 30 minutes, then got a message to leave my number and the nature of the problem and they would call back. This service is 350 miles away in Southern California. That would be quite a drive. More on this later. The more I wait the angrier I get. Right now I am Dissatisfied.

We bought a Samsung DMT300rfs/XAA dishwasher in May 2010. Had repairs in August 2012, September 2013, March 2014 and again, the SAME repair/part replaced in August 2014. Samsung will not consider this a lemon and our additional contract will expire in May 2015, after which WE will have to pay for that SAME part every few months. Samsung did offer us a diagnostic visit by THEIR recommended service tech (they no longer use Sears Repair) at an additional coast of $99.00 to us??All but the last repair left us with no dishwasher for about 2 weeks! Now, Sears is carrying that part on their truck. We only have to wait about a week! Its good that we purchased the extra warranty, but thats almost up. I tried resetting it by plugging and unplugging, holding down buttons, unplugging and plugging back in keypad. Nothing worked. I still got the SE code. Finally, I cleaned the ribbon connector with rubbing alcohol. This fixed it for about 5 minutes, then it started doing it again. I guess I need to either replace the keypad or the whole microwave. Its an SMH9187W, manufactured in Sept 2010. It was in use for 14 months, 2-3 times a week of light duty (warming up leftovers). Very disappointing that a seemingly nice, high-end product would fail so quickly. I have owned many microwaves and have never ever had a microwave fail - even old free ones that were given to me. The problem with replacing the keypad is that you will be lucky to get a year and a half out of it, as we know from experience. Perhaps I could trade it for a different brand at a used appliance store. I think any other brand would be better because out of the probably 10 different microwaves Ive used and owned over the years, Ive never ever seen one fail.

I really think there needs to be a class action lawsuit for this. Not because it is such a huge ticket item, but because Samsung needs to be slapped and told they cant get away with this. How do we do that? Im in if you guys are! As for this microwave, quite frankly, I really dont think I want this hazard in my house. So many complaints, really concerned about the integrity of this company. I bought a Samsung RF217ACRS refrigerator in Sept of 2010. In short it was a lemon from the day we bought it. The ice maker immediately had to be repaired, then shortly after that replaced. We were also experiencing water leaking into our crisping drawers spoiling our vegetables as it pooled up to 1/2. The repair person that came to replace the ice maker made a guess as to what was happening and did a nonstandard repair in the back panel where the water runs down to fill the ice trays. He fixed it temporarily. The last time our ice maker was replaced was February of 2012 and here we are once again with a broken ice maker and water pooling in our crisping drawers 1.5 years later and Samsung will do nothing for us. Repair man said, this fridge keeps us in business. Seal is a joke and repair parts already more than a new fridge but Samsung has paid $0.00 so they dont care. We bought the fridge for the ice maker as our son has severe medical condition and his meds/foods need icing at all times. This just sucks for over $3000.00 refrigerator. Samsung do the right thing and replace this nightmare.

We just got our brand new french door 24.6 fridge (RF263BEAESR). We had a GE Profile for over 22 years and it was great but it was white and very outdated. The moment we got the fridge I love it! But then I noticed a loud noise and realized it was the ice maker. I had heard reviews on that so it wasnt a complete surprise. Then I noticed that the fridge was noisy. Instead of a nice quiet kitchen there is a constant noise coming from the fridge. When the compressor or the fan isnt running it’s quiet and peaceful. The only problem is the compressor or fan runs 24/7. It might shut off and be quiet for less than 5 minutes and then it runs loudly again. The noise volume wise isnt that loud but it’s very noticeable especially when I want to just sit at the table and have a cup of coffee. When we are sitting in the family room we can also hear it running. The guy who came out from Frys did acknowledge that it shouldnt run constantly and that it was a little louder than normal. But he didnt say they make noise and that he was very immune to the noise because he services hundreds of fridges. So what am I supposed to buy now?

My husband and I purchased a Samsung French door refrigerator with the bottom freezer. This refrigerator contains two ice makers one in the refrigerator and one in the freezer. The Ice maker in the refrigerator has stopped working and I found out today that Samsung does not make the parts to repair my ice maker in the refrigerator part. I have spent almost $3000 for this refrigerator and it’s only about three years old and I am quite upset at the fact that I can’t get the parts to fix it! The model number is RF263TEAESG/AA. The part number for the ice maker is DA-97-08117B.I have spoken to Samsung directly on May 24, 2019 and spoke to Ryan and she directed me to J and J international for Samsung parts, I spoke to a woman named Dawn who looked up my part number and told me they discontinued it and I cannot get it. What am I supposed to do with my refrigerator when my ice maker doesn’t work and I’ve spent all this money on it and Samsung discontinued the part. I still had to pay the appliance guy $150 just for showing up and letting me know that he can’t get the parts. I personally feel that Samsung is putting out poor quality appliances and I will never purchase one again. I am stuck with a Samsung refrigerator that does not work properly and I would like you to contact Samsung about this problem! Sincerely, Debra **.

I bought a Samsung RF266 refrigerator about 4 years ago. It regularly ices in the back and then needs to be taken apart and defrosted. In addition, it leaks water under the crisper drawers. There are many complaints online about this problem and yet the company has done nothing to resolve it. The refrigerator is more trouble than it is worth. I have finally given up and will be replacing this refrigerator after only 4-5 years. I will NEVER buy another Samsung appliance!

Cuts off and clock resets. 2 - Were told we’d get a cb 24-48h with repair appt ,,, and no callback. 3 - Was away but called 6 days later because of no cb,,, given ticke t#. 4 - Repair showed up 2 days later and no Eval done because unit wasn’t uninstalled (no one said to uninstall it). Given appt for another week.5 - Repair came out a week later and said product had damaged frame inside unit causing fan to hit some other machinery inside,,, Needed to refund/replace. 6 - Called 24h later and was adv tooo late to refund or replace,,, that WE waited too long to do that. Referred to Warranty services in TX. 7 - Tyrone/warranty dept states Repair’s documentation isn’t clear about who or what damaged the unit….warranty voided. We are the not so proud owners of a brand new broken microwave and I felt compelled to warn others. 494 bucks is 494 bucks and the fact is we paid them for a broken product and they didn’t make it right. That’s completely unethical. Shame on Samsung. Shame.

I bought Samsung dishwasher, Model# DWF600UTW/AA. While still it is under warranty service, there was a problem with run ending in the middle and light started flashing. I called for service. The service person pulled out the dishwasher, and pushed it back very hard. When he left, I started the run, and dishwasher leaked all over and water puddled in the basement. There was not just the damage in the basement, but I had to re-install the dishwasher again with my own money. I never had leak before, the service person caused it, and Samsung doesnt want to pay the damages. The standard answer is, warranty is on the equipment parts and not the installation. Although their service person caused it! Another thing, if there is a damage-claim, Samsung transfers you to corporate affairs. They make you wait on the phone for hours! I strongly will advice anyone, not to buy their equipment, because if something goes wrong, this company doesnt take the responsibility. Neither they have a good warranty service.

I purchased Samsung French Door Refrigerator Model RFG297AARS for $2000 on 3/2011. However, I didnt buy the extended protection plan (should have) because I had protection plan with local electric company. I started to have problems in Jun 2013. Water in the bottom of the crisper and the refrigerator/ freezer was not cooling properly. I called to have maintenance done on the unit, and the repairmen told me that all of the defrost circuits and the sealed compressor were working properly and the drain lines were clear. They stated that all of the older and same model of mine had issues on lack of insulation in the box and during summer/high humid months, the unit would not keep up. I contacted Samsung and they never heard of this and would be happy to come out to look at the unit. If it wasnt a compressor issue, I would be charged for the visit. So we just unplugged the refrigerator and let it thaw out, and after that it worked okay, but not great. Then in Feb 2014, my freezer and refrigerator stopped cooling, so I called up for maintenance and they determined the sealed cooling system was not working and to call Samsung for repair under the 5-yr warranty. I called Samsung and they sent out a repair rep and he came out and said that the compressor/sealed system was not working properly and he would be in 2 weeks. When he came back, he tried everything but he could find the leak and he stated that it was not repairable!! 3 months later, no working refrigerator, just a broken one sitting in the way in my kitchen. Samsung finally decided to buy the unit back, but it would take 15-20 days and would get back to me concerning the removal of the broken one. No check, no email - nothing at all. Please do not buy this model or from this company. They say they understand what I am going through, but I dont think they do because they would have sent me my check and removed this broken box out of my kitchen so I can buy a new one for my family without a refrigerator.

My Samsung refrigerator model Rf260BEAEWW was delivered 5 days ago. I had to attach three handles which requires 6 small anchor screws. Only four were included, so I called customer service. After a 34 minute phone call with Samsung where I was continually made to feel not like a customer but as a person trying to scam them for two screws. They advised they had to determine if it was within 30 days and after giving them the serial # I also gave them the manufacturing date of June 2017. After 30 minutes, they told me I would then have to send them a copy of my receipt. It would then have to be approved to send these two screws.Totally frustrated I went to the store I bought it. They called Samsung and the salesperson advised, after an hour on the phone with their rep, they were going to contact me and arrange when a tech could come out and look at my refrigerator before it would be verified that I would receive these two screws. Still waiting, totally ridiculous. Obviously a very authoritative organization, lacking leadership and the ability to allow simple decisions to its employees.

My complaint no. **. Samsung refrigerator broke down after just 1.5 years in service. When you call the customer care they happily say that your warranty has expired and inform that you have to pay INR 400 for the service engineer to visit and analyze the fault first. And imagine the pain when you have to hear one service engineer tells you that the coil is spoilt and gas is leaking, and that you have to pay INR 4000 to rectify these, for a product you paid INR 14000 just 1.5 years back. Over and above this, they say they have no backup spares and it will take 6 days to get it from Delhi (!) in India in a hot and humid climate. Imagine how to manage food without cooling options at home? The call centre is pathetic... Pls. dont buy Samsung home appliances. That customer care execs are sweet spoken, and will speak a lot of Hindi and English but are unable to provide a solution. In spite of making daily calls and telling them that I cannot afford to wait for 6 days, they will make empty promises that they will resolve this as soon as possible but its just a formality and they make no attempts to solve your problems... Your product fails within 1.5 years of purchase. It takes 6 to 7 days for spares to be available. It costs 30% of the product basic price to repair your product just within 1.5 years of purchase. Over and above imagine the pain and agony customer has to go through because there is no cooling option for food at home. At this rate I could have easily purchased a fridge from a roadside vendor who would have given better services than Samsung at half the rate. Give me 1 reason why should customer buy Samsung product for double the rate for such pathetic services. Now you know why Samsung’s mobile phone business is suffering. I am pretty confident their appliances division will be meet the same fate…

I have purchased this product (AR24HV5NBWKNNA) from Samsung Dealer in May 2014 and from the date of purchase Im not satisfied with the product. Installation of A/C was not proper as it took 12 hours by your engineer. Then in next year 2015 the A/C was not performing and called Samsung and executive visited and directly filled gas in warranty without inspecting the reason of leakage, and gradually after 3 months again cooling decreased. Also water leakage from indoor unit started immediately after refilling and now in current season when unit was started there was no cooling and when engineer visited on 1st call he immediately order a gas refilling without inspecting the reason for leakage. And so the second complaint was lodged and then that engineer inspected the actual reason for regular gas leakage i.e. leakage found in cooling coil which was the only reason for 1st time non cooling, which should have been searched and rectified in 2015 when the gas was refilled the first time. We were given an only option to replace to new cooling coil at our cost whereas I feel problem shouldnt have arised in the 1st year of purchase which I feel was not expected from the world leader brand like Samsung. Right now I and my Family uses Samsung brand TV, AC, refrigerator, phones, washing machine, microwave. Also further we have to install new units at my Factory and 2 Houses but now after experiencing such problem within a year I feel I should rethink over that. Also during water leakage from indoor unit my Indoor Wooden cabinet along with printer and mobiles were damaged. If you wish to see the leakage I have shot a video of it. Also, a suggestion. This kind of malfunction directly hits your Brand Reputation that how Samsung deals with its product Malfunctioning. I strongly request you to please look into this matter on priority as the season has started and there is a need to run the Air Conditioner. So replace the defective part or replace the whole unit.

My question is the following, how can you introduce a new technology in the US market without prior testing it? Why do you want me to pay $4,000 for a technology that doesnt work? Your credibility is at stake as well as your after sales service. Your supervisor didnt even deign to call us back despite our several calls. If this the way you are treating your new customers? I bought a French Door, 2 drawer blue stainless Samsung refrigerator Model
I bought a French Door, 2 drawer blue stainless Samsung refrigerator Model # RF25HMEDBSG 19 months ago. The icemaker started freezing up immediately after the 12 month warranty expired. I have deiced the icemaker 4 times in the last seven months. This week the fan in the back started making noise because it was rubbing on an ice buildup in the coils. This isnt what I expected when I laid out $ 2,088 for what I thought was a quality product. I didnt think I would need an extended warranty to cover the first three years. Wrong!! I looked at a YouTube video which saved me a service call which would have cost about $300 from Dish. What I learned was that there is a way to do a manual defrost for the coils that is not in the Users Manual. Empty your refrigerator. On my model, press the top item on the left side of the display which is Freezer and the middle item on the right side which is Lighting and hold for 12 seconds. It will go through a series of displays and stop on the last which is FD for Fast Defrost. This activates the heating elements to defrost the coils. It beeps for 30 or 40 minutes then stops which I assume means that the defrost is complete. I carefully defrosted the icemaker with a heat gun on low from a distance. That was 3 days ago and I have icemaker ice and no fan noise. We shall see how long it holds up. The YouTube showed an older model but by pressing the SAME LOCATIONS on the display twelve seconds, FF came up and he had to press a function three or four times until the Fast Defrost FD started. Use at your own discretion. I hope this saves you some repair $$.

Moved in a new house around 2012, fridge model is RS263TDRS - its a Samsung side-by-side refrigerator that at the time cost at least $2500 cad if bought brand new. Anyways, at the 2-year mark, the fridge started making loud noises and water and ice is building up on the bottom drawer on the fridge side and water would fall out almost everyday, which damaged my hardwood floor. I did some research online and realized it is probably caused my ice build up inside the fridge, and I opened the back part of the fridge and its all frozen inside. Spend hours defrosting the ice with a hair dryer and out everything back in. Everything worked for about a week and water is falling out again. Suddenly the freezer just wont cool and now Im stuck with a barely working fridge.

In November 2011, our family purchased a counter depth Samsung Refrigerator, Model #RSG257AARS. Shortly after purchasing the refrigerator, the exterior door above the ice maker had a small divot. Originally, it appeared like someone in our family dinged it with a hard object. However, over the next year, the problem continued, and both doors are covered in small divots from the door handles to the top of the refrigerator. This is definitely a manufacturing defect. According to the representative from Samsung, the warranty was only good for one year, and Samsung refuses to stand behind their product stating this is not a recall issue. This was a large investment for our family, and we are extremely disappointed that Samsung will not support its customers and products. We would like to share this experience so other consumers can make an educated choice before making their purchase.

While baking at 375 degrees and standing in front of the oven I heard a loud pop, and then seen a lot of smoke coming out of the top rear behind the clock and program panel. From the smell, it was obviously an electrical fire. The circuit board and connectors burned up. Luckily I was close by and able to unplug the stove. Stove is completely inoperative and is only 6 1/2 years old. I never had any problems until now. I was able to unplug the stove so I do not know if the fire would have continued. Our 3 year old Samsung side-by-side with all the bells and whistles stopped
Our 3 year old Samsung side-by-side with all the bells and whistles stopped cooling, both freezer and refrig side. After dealing with the noise created by freezing up inside freezing and fan hitting the ice, we learned to defrost it for a while then it worked. But now, after turning back on after defrosting a FROST FREE unit, the whole thing stopped working. Called Samsung and was told no warranty left on this appliance. Their repair company would take several days to come out, so I had my own repair person come look at it. They replaced several things, then came to the conclusion it was the compressor. This person even went online and discovered that there was supposed to be a 5 year warranty on the compressor that no one at Samsung told me about. I called back to Samsung to complain that I was technically deceived by not being told about the warranty. They said Too bad my technician had voided that warranty by trying to fix the thing and they would not honor any part of warranty. I am furious! I spoke with the highest department I could get to in Samsung with no success. I even asked for a CEO or someone like that who would listen to my complaint: Nothing. Now In stuck with a 300 pound paperweight~ wonder if it worth putting a new compressor in it since nearly everything else has been replaced? Dont Buy Samsung Appliances!!

We have continual problems with the evaporator coils freezing up. This seems to be caused by a serious design defect(s). The drain for the water defrosted from the evaporator coil during the normal defrost cycle will freeze and stop up, causing melt water to overflow into the crisper bins. The evaporator coil freezes over, causing the fan to stop, leading to temperatures in the cabinet being wrong. The vegetables in the crisper bins freeze, and the upper cabinet is too warm. The internet is full of complaints on this issue, and Samsung is hiding behind its legal limit on the warranty expiration. There is a cheesy metal tab that extends from the defrost element toward the drain hole, but is does not prevent the drain hole from freezing over. I tried modifying it by extending a copper wire as a heat conductor from this tab further into the drain hole... to no avail. This design was obviously not tested enough, with food in it in normal use, to discover the problem. I would forgive a design flaw if Samsung would fix it and make modified parts available to current owners. I will not forgive them for leaving customers with a $2000 lemon and doing nothing for them. I suggest everyone AVOID SAMSUNG PRODUCTS due to their disregard for their customers and lack of action to fix a defective product.

I have owned a Samsung side by side refrigerator (model rsg257aars) for about three years. About one month ago, I started noticing that water was coming out of the water dispenser in significant volume intermittently. The amount of water has been enough to flood my kitchen floor on multiple occasions. I know the water is coming from the dispenser as I placed a solo cup under the dispenser which has been filled each time after a flood. I have also seen the process start myself. The flow only stops when I push the water dispensing pad much like if I was filling a cup of water. I have called three different repairmen including the Samsung authorized repair personnel who have not been able to fix the problem. I have paid more than $400 at this point. In reading lots of these Samsung issues, I suspect that part of the problems is due to the electrical boards being defective causing a multitude of the matters noted in this forum.

We too bought a Samsung RF266ABRS/XAA - this is a French door, bottom mount fridge in September 2009. Though I have been happy with the design, mechanically this system is problematic. We have consistently had issue with the water pooling/freezing under the deli drawer. The Twin Cooling panel on the inside/rear of the unit was replaced in 2011 and now again in 2013. Our service rep told us the unit has a design flaw in the way it seals. Both times have been out of our pocket though I will be pulling my warranty information as it sounds as though another writer says it MIGHT be covered under a 5 year warranty for the Twin Cooling system. I wont even THINK about another SAMSUNG and will be careful to ascertain if the next brand is manufactured by the same outfit. Oh yes, this time our ice maker went out as well.

The stove is difficult to use... Difficult and complicated selection panel which is hard on the hands and has to be pushed 2 to 3 times for make selection. Difficult to figure out model number which is in a stupid location. OVEN WARMER. My advice is DO NOT BUY A SAMSUNG APPLIANCE. Service is terrible and the people do not listen or speak proper English when supporting English Canadian Customers...and yet the company charges top dollar for this premium stove that I would not even pay $5 dollars for. Not worth the money.

I love the size and the French doors on top and freezer drawer. But HATE the ice buildup under the crisper drawers that needs to be chopped out every few months, despite the humidity controls...

My kitchen was in desperate need of a makeover so I decided to purchase all new products from Sears and selected Samsung. I so wish that I would have checked with Consumer Affairs first before purchasing (3) Samsung products in 2013 - all of which have had issues. I purchased a double door black refrigerator, a black microwave as well as a black gas range. My refrigerator from day one has had issues with the ice maker not making ice and the refrigerator temperature not working properly. The worst product of all was the microwave oven that caught fire while I granddaughter was cooking a hotdog on a paper plate. The plate caught on fire. There were sparks and flames literally shooting from the microwave. I didnt purchase the extended warranty on the microwave because my experience with good microwaves is that they simply stop working after about 6-7 years. They dont catch on fire! I paid $329 for the microwave and Samsung wanted to charge me $325 for the repairs and continue to give me the run around. The matter is still not resolved. So if you are reading this review... save yourself the trouble. Please do not purchase any Samsung product!

Regarding to the glass part, the tech guy said it is only 2 made in our USA. We are waiting so long and dont know whats going on. Even though we have extended warranty on it. Any questions, contact me as Im living in parents in law home. Their name is Melvin and Shirley Harvey. TIA.

Do not buy their products, today they are of very poor quality and this company does not honor the guarantee of any of its products. I have many of their products (refrigerator, TV, telephones, tablets, washing machine, etc. I used to be this brand name fan until their products begun to break and the company do not honor the warranties). I got rid of the phones a couple of years ago due to software issues. I have been able to return the televisions thanks to the return policy of some stores, the refrigerator has problems with the ice maker and no matter how many people complain, they do not change the ice maker, nor do they repair it and they do not stop putting that problematic ice maker in the new equipments (if you make some research the company has been sued for the ice maker they put on the refrigerators), they dont care about customers once they have bought their products. If their products were good, you wouldnt have to worry about good customer service, but thats not the case. Their current products from about 5 years ago until now are of very poor quality, my washing machine (2 years old) has rusted all the edge where the bleach is poured and recently the motor broke and guess what? Precisely the engine has a 10-year warranty, at least on paper, but not really, they do not guarantee what was promised. First because of COVID-19 they did not have the staff to go to my house to diagnose the washing machine, that today they make this appliances with so much technology that the only thing they do not do is talk, but this machine shows you a code of the problem it has, this company do not care that the washing machine will show a code that means the engine is broken, they want a technician to diagnose it, a technician who they dont have, so they forced me to pay another company to have a technician come to diagnose the washer machine, a diagnosis that cost me $89.00.I sent them the invoice and they didn’t repair the engine anyway. They say they only pay for the part, not the labor, that I have to pay for the repair and send them the receipt for them to reimburse me for the cost of the part. If they warranty, the part they should send me the motor so I will take care of the labor with any company. They have not reimbursed me the $89.00 that they made me spend on diagnostic, although the washing machine said that the motor was broken and am I going to believe that they are going to reimburse me a part (motor) after this? This has been going on for 9 months since August 2020. They are worthless, unreliable, scammers, do not buy their products, any of their products soon or later will have issues and they will not honor the warranty. Do not become one of the victims of this HUGE SCAMMER COMPANY that take your money with warranties promises, and because their products are poor quality you will need the warranty, warranty that they are not willing to fulfill, they will find any excuse for not honor the warranty. Do not say you were not advising!! Be wise, save your money!!

Samsung refrigerator model #RS275ACWP purchased in December 2008: By 2012 it developed a leak at the freezers backplane. The leak caused the bottom drawer to seize up. Samsung recommended solution was to replace the backplane at a cost of hundreds of dollars. A handyman resealed the original backplane at a considerably lower cost. By 2013 the ice maker failed by producing too much ice. The ice box became locked up and water spilled into the interior, causing still more ice on the freezer shelves. The water even dribbles out of the ice shoot. The Samsung authorized technician stated that three parts need to be replaced at a cost of $450.

Doesnt even deserve ONE star!!! GARBAGE!!! I dont know how Samsung has not had a class action case filed against them after reading HUNDREDS of complaints about their dishwashers. Every reviewer has the same complaint about various models, UNBEARABLE, DISGUSTING ODOR!!... And SAMSUNG customer service does nothing!!! Oh, wait, they do offer suggestions on how to CLEAN their dishwashers with TANG!!! Yes, *** clean the disgusting odor in the brand new dishwasher with an orange flavored drink mix!!! *** WHAT??? The odor is unbearable and dishes are cleaner when I put them in the dishwasher than they are when I take them out!!! Shame on Samsung for this disgraceful product and lack of concern for their trusting consumers. They should have stuck to making televisions!!! NEVER make the mistake of purchasing a Samsung dishwasher.
