Purchased this microwave in 10/16. It broke by Christmas, they repaired it in June. Broke again and they repaired it in March 2018. It’s broke again, they refuse to repair it. Last Samsung product in my home ever. Do not buy Samsung. I called and had to call back because they are celebrating Christmas in the call center with yelling and partying so loud I can’t hear, and they can’t hear me. Unprofessional and inept.

Samsung will not repair. Bought gas range at Lowes in May 2018. I lost the receipt which I understand my fault, Samsung send out appliances to stores with expire Manufacturer warranties so they dont have to repair. This is a gas range. Just got it install and has a leak. When I call they never said it was out of warranty. I follow back with them due to the email they send me. I call them. One person says it has warranty then another say that it does have one. So I have a New range fresh out of the box that Im not able to use and Im out $800.00 out of pocket. Ill never recommend this product. Have to buy a new range again. Im very dissatisfied with this brand. Jesus **

On Feb.16, 2009, we purchased a 30 Samsung electric stove AND a 5 year warranty. Almost immediately, we knew we had a problem. We spent the entire 5 years of warranty, having repairmen from A & E Factory Service (Sears) come put bandaids on this very expensive stove ($1508 without the warranty cost). When the extended warranty ran out in February of 2014 the stove had all the same problems it had as a new stove. Since then, I always set the temperature too high (because it never reaches the temperature I set it at). I bought a good oven thermometer to put in the oven which I watch by shining a flashlight through the glass in the oven door, adjusting the temperature throughout the baking period. You see, I cant trust the oven to go to the temperature I need. The beeper that is supposed to tell you when the oven is hot enough to bake your food beeps when the oven is at least 100 degrees lower than I have set it for. This oven has ruined so many things I have tried to bake, including a ham that I served partly raw without realizing it. NEVER BUY SAMSUNG PRODUCTS!! I seriously cringe when I see full page ads for Samsung appliances. I will NEVER buy another one. But think of all those poor people who WILL! (We purchased the stove from a store in Loveland Colorado called Ji and Daves Appliance, Inc. which is no longer in business).

We purchased a gas range and woke up to my daughter puking and the home smelling like gas!!! Called the gas company and they red flagged my rage. It was defective at oven. Samsung said Oh we are going above and beyond to get this taken care of and need to do a full inspection! After everybody calling me hours all day about getting it taken care of O A we have no service agents in your area. You are now without anything till a week and a half away! Gas company said we are very lucky!

Thanks Again Samsung USA. Well here I am again folks. I talked with a Supervisor from the Executive Desk about my problems with customer support and about the Fridge (Samsung French Door Refrigerator RF323TEDBSR/AA). Wow can you believe they are truly a company that will buy back your product for less than you paid and they stick together on all levels of Customer service? And after talking with him he also tells me I have 14 days from the date of the email of the offer from them and thats the end. Another WOW. So here it is -- 2017.00 Samsung French door Refrigerator, 80.00 Delivery, 15.00 new water line (required), 370.00 Extended warranty, 148.00 Sales tax -- Approx. 2622.00 Total spent 1 1/2 year ago. They are willing to buy it back for 756.00. Should I be happy??? I can assure you I am not. If they admit there is a problem and their warranty ran out last August, why would they be willing to buy it back??? And I am suppose to accept this GREAT LOSS? Not without a fight. I have made many calls to them and emails to get paperwork to them, faxes to them on the same paperwork. And was asked again today to email the original contract again, 4 emails-efaxes they didnt get, 2 phone faxes that didnt show the total price. But this final email today showed it all to the young man I sent to while I kept him on the line. So tell me should I just let it go? And top of it all, their policy is before that refund can come, you have to cut the cord from the fridge, wrap it with labels from inside fridge with S/N and model around the cord and take a picture and wait on your refund. Now common sense tells me that if I do that I will lose all my stuff in the fridge and freezer and wait till their refund arrives and then purchase a new fridge plus fork out about 850.00 to replace it with what I bought 17 months after I bought it originally. I wish I could make some sort of sense out that policy??? Would love some feedback on this and would love for anyone with this sort of issue to also SHARE this so others may avoid what we are going through. Thank you Samsung USA.

I own a Samsung black stainless steel refrigerator. The ice maker stopped working a few months later. Never made a big deal about it but after calling Samsung they wanted to charge me for a tech to take a look. I did buy the extended warranty. Samsung has a class action lawsuit against them for this problem. They never made the American public aware of this problem. They insist there is no recall but acknowledge via bulletins there is a problem. I asked both chat technician and customer support why are we not being told and asked to speak to someone who could answer me. I was told no one could call me by Kit the chat tech and customer support hung up on me.I own about 12 different Samsung appliances. Disgusting how they take our money and then turn their backs. I am a hard working American citizen and I refuse to put another dime in Samsungs pocket. Their employees take joy on seeing fellow Americans used and I would never recommend buying Samsung again. I wasted 4 plus hours to be lied to then to be hung up on. I would recommend never to buy Samsung and I will make it my duty to rid my house of all Samsung products. This company is all about defrauding hard working Americans.

I bought a Samsung fridge, three times I have had Telefix technicians out to look at fridge as it on 3 times it has had water under the crisper. First time the back panel gets changed. Leaks again so 2nd time gets same procedure not to mention puts a slight crack on panel, leaks again. 3rd time technician? Blame the 2nd one for his workmanship. And reckons nothing wrong? Yet water? Told him not happy he puts in a report saying nothing wrong? Goes to apparently case manager Samsung. Telling me they cant do anything, yet I have 10 year concierge warranty and if they get someone else out I have to pay? I don’t think so.And how many times do I have to them out because of their fault in appliance, which was also stated by the technician that the new model fridges has the exact problem as my fridge does... I have 20 year old LG fridge and never had one problem. If I wanted a fridge that leaks water I would buy one. So why are Samsung making fridges with the same problem and selling them? Rectify the problem. And you will have happy customers. Still want to know so what are they going to do about my fridge… Angry customer.

Purchased Samsung refrigerator 1 year and 15 days ago and it quit working. Per Samsung that is too bad. You will pay 160.00 service call and 135.00 for a part that is defective. Worst customer service I have ever had. Check out complaints against Samsung before you buy one of their products. You do not need to act on my word alone. If I had checked for reviews on their product I would have never bought anything with the name Samsung.

I purchased a NEW Samsung dishwasher DW8OJ 302045-AC from a clearance centre on July 4/15. I had it installed, July 12th. By July 25th, it would not operate. July 29th I reported it to the Samsung service centre. It was transferred to a local appliance centre who ordered parts, and Sept. 7th, two electronic panels were replaced. It created a new problem. Now Samsung wants me to disconnect it, and they will pick it up, and after 2-3 weeks refund my money. They acknowledge that their product is defective but refuse to replace it or compensate me for the installation or disconnection or inconvenience.By the time I receive my refund, I will have owned this inferior product for almost 4 months and used it only 5 times. Never buy a Samsung dishwasher - this is not an isolated incident. Read the other negative reviews. The Samsung service department is located in eastern Canada. You can e-mail but good luck reaching them in the afternoons. QUALITY CONTROL AND CUSTOMER SATISFACTION ARE NOT IMPORTANT TO SAMSUNG!

We renovated our kitchen over a year ago and bought new appliances (fridge and range/ oven) at Lowe’s from Samsung. I thought we would be getting a quality product because the LCDs and monitors Ive purchased in the past have all been quality. We rarely used the oven at home but noticed that it would take an hour or longer to heat up. You would just hear it cut off and on the whole time. When I contacted them they said that I had to pay for the repair because it had been one month out of warranty even though Ive seen numerous posts about this issue from other Samsung range oven owners model number FTQ353IWUX. The fridge has the change filter warning that randomly goes off and the ice maker gets ice all over the fridge door. I will never purchase another Samsung product in my life and will deter anyone from buying their subpar overpriced products.

This is the first dishwasher I have ever had with stainless steel inside. Is this the reason Im having problem with mold growing on my dishes? All other dishwashers I have had, left dishes in longer not rinsed that good. Never had mold grow on them. It made me so sick to see this the first time, every dish had mold growing. Good thing there wasnt that many in there. Took them out soaked in bleach. I read my book it said run it once a week, I have been. Run the dishwasher with bleach, then run it again with dishwasher detergent, without dishes. I thought it wouldnt happen again but it did. So disappointed in this dishwasher. Has anyone else had this problem? After the first time I told my husband to be sure to rinse them good. Well it did happen. Bought this dishwasher Jan. 2016, only 8 months old.

For over 3 weeks, I have reached out to Samsung Customer Service to get a resolution on a new stove that never worked. No one has helped me yet. Below is a summary of the contacts I have made. My last two attempts to contact customer service have left me at a dead end. I was told there was no number for me to contact and that I must wait to receive a call from Samsungs Office of the President. After over 3 weeks without a stove and not a single follow-up call from Samsung, you can only imagine how frustrating this is. I have not cooked on a stove for over 3 weeks now.On 9-15-2012, I bought a new stove from Lowes in Fort Collins, Colorado. On 9-17-2012, I contacted Samsung Customer Service to report that the stove top did not work and caused large electrical surges in my house. On 9-19-2012, I called Customer Service again because no one had called me back. They apologized for the slow follow-up and got me in touch with Elite Services, a repair company in Greeley, CO.On 9-21-2012, the service company looked at the stove and determined that the entire mechanical components of the stove top needed to be replaced. According to the service company, an order was placed through Samsung. On 10-3-2012, after no follow-ups from Samsung or the repair company, I called again, only to determine that Samsung dropped the ball and that nothing was happening. From what I gathered, the part for my brand-new stove was no longer made and they would see if there was some sort of alternative part. My confidence continued to dissipate. On 10-3-2012, I emailed the Office of the CEO through the Samsung Customer Service website and received an automated reply that I would be contacted in 1-2 business days. On 10-8-2012 at 8:30, I contacted customer service again since I have not received any calls from Samsung. They basically told me my issue was being reviewed by a manager and that someone would be in touch with me by the end of the day.On 10-8-2012 at 4:00 PM, after not hearing back from Samsung, I called again. They said the issue was being handled by the Office of the President. It was not possible for me to speak to anyone, but someone would call me possibly that night. I could not call anyone in the Office of the President. I was told they would have to call me. There was a refusal to put me in touch with a person that had the authority to handle my issue. Again, I was told to be patient and wait.On 10-9-2012 9:45 AM after not hearing back from Samsung, I called again and of course, got the same answer. Customer service could not help me nor provide any answers. I must only wait for someone from the Office of the President to call me. A timeline was not provided and I was told that there was nothing else that customer service or I could do but to just wait for a call back.I researched a phone number for Samsung corporate, 201-229-4000. I was put on hold and waited to speak with customer service from the Office of the President. After a couple of minutes, a message came on and said the call volume was too high and to leave a message and theyll call me back. Through research, I think the President of this Samsung department is David Choi.Certainly, I am very disappointed with the complete lack of care, concern, follow-through, etc., from Samsung on a brand new product. I am very concerned that there is no confidence on the proper repair for a part that is no longer made. I wont settle for anything but a repair that makes the stove operate like new, or a new stove. I have not had a stove to cook on for over 3 weeks now and I have given Samsung ample time to correct this. Here is an excerpt from Samsung’s Code of Conduct: 12 - Principle 3. We respect customers, shareholders and employees. The Company will endeavor to reach just resolutions of customer-related disputes and will respond to the complaints of customers in a transparent, timely and effective manner. This has not been transparent, timely or effective.

Purchased Samsung dishwasher in October 2014. By December it was showing codes. It really took 6 months to get Samsung to send a repair company. Three visits later, the machine finally worked after replacing all master boards, pumps, drains, etc... Samsung was horrible to deal with. The machine again does not work and is showing the same codes; we had to wash all dishes and use the CLR cleaner the repair people gave us to no avail. Samsung will not back their product. The repair company refuses to repair a Samsung product (this is Samsungs registered repair company) and we have an $800 machine that does not work and has not work for more than a couple of months. In less than a year, our refrigerator began having problems. The cooling fan begins making a noise as the ice builds up around it until the ice stops the fan from spinning. At this point the fridge stops cooling. The fix involves taking everything out of the fridge, opening up the back, and using a hair dryer to melt the ice. This takes approx 45 min to complete. The ice will continue to build up and the process must be repeated every 2-3 months. In addition, the ice maker is poorly built. The water comes out at a weird angle and most people who use it for the first few times end up hitting the side of their cup and water goes everywhere. The ice also comes out all over the place and misses the cup, ending up all over the floor. The ice maker itself also began to drip water, requiring paper towels set below it that need to be replaced several times a day. Based on a video online I just watch, this may be caused from the seal at the base of the ice maker. I am currently testing out a fix. To top things off, the ice will freeze together inside the ice maker, creating a huge ice dam. Its fun to find out this has happened when you have guests over only to find out you dont have any ice ready for them.Overall, this product is a huge disappointment and I do not recommend a Samsung refrigerator to anyone in the market. If you are reading this you probably have realized how many complaints there are, and they STILL HAVE NOT FIXED THE ISSUES WITH THE NEWER MODELS!!!

We purchased a set of Samsung appliances less than two years ago. In that time period, the dishwasher had to be replaced after the service company sent out by Samsung made numerous trips. The oven heating element has now burned in to two parts and the oven no longer works. The freezer drawer broke, and will no longer stay in the brackets. We expected more and couldnt be more disappointed. The service companies that Samsung has contracted with are just as disappointing. Samsung has continued to produce a defective ice maker for more than 10 years. The unit clogs up with frost & ice that prevents the unit from working. The plastic components including the ice bin and auger are very thin and developed cracks soon after use. Repeated calls to Samsung customer service do not solve the problem, they will charge you for a service call, but the expensive repairs do not fix the problem. A class action lawsuit remains open and unresolved. In the meantime user have to use a hair dryer between once a week to once a month to melt out the ice jam in the top of the unit. Samsung refuses to stand behind their product, and even worse continues to manufacture it.

Model RF220NCTABC/AA - cracking noise from doors. The problem with the doors is not exactly in the hinges themselves. There are two plastic pieces: one black in the top next to the hinge, another white in the bottom next to the hinges. These parts have the function of toggle-close the doors and unfortunately are not of the right quality. They are each attached to the door with one Phillips screw. If any of them breaks, you get the crack sound. I just removed the one on the bottom right and the problem went away. Your technicians answering the phone should be trained on that and even if the refrigerator was bought more than one year ago, send customers these parts for free. Probably the postage will be more expensive than the parts.

RF266AEPN/XAA French Door Samsung Refrigerator looks great but is not reliable. Paid $1500 5 years ago and numerous repairs since. 03/14 icing in the refrigerator vents began, called Samsung support and they acted like this was the first time they ever heard this. I learned later its a common issue. Service Ticket **- no one called back or showed up. Refrigerator started making a lot of noise and some water appeared in refrigerator. I learned the Samsung refrigerator Series RF267 has an ongoing issue with freezing up and icing over the fan and evaporator coil. Class action suit.04/14/14 Called Best Buy Geek Squad technician who removed back of Samsung refrigerator and attempted to defrost back of defective design. Remove inside back panel, inserted $4 part to prevent refreezing and replaced original back with broken styrofoam insert. Ice still remained in cooling vents 2 days later and still is icing up. $162.38 service call. Either Best Buy or Samsung should cover charge of full repair or replacement for 2-year-old French door refrigerator that clearly has a poor design and many complaints online. Problem continued so we periodically defrosted the refrigerator to clear ice from coils. Contacted Samsung again 09/17/14 and was told by Sherlyn: There are no reported issues with the unit. Ha! Representative Sheryln assigned the transaction number ** and forwarded it to Executive Customer Relations department. No helpful response, credit, or repair. We contacted Best Buy/Geek Squad again and for $400+ they replaced the inside back panel of the refrigerator, door seals, fan, etc. After a horrible experience and almost $700 in repair bills we hoped to put this behind us and enjoy our beautiful stainless steel refrigerator for a while and we did until the noise started again and the temperature started going up in the refrigerator this week. Now food is in ice chests and I am shopping for a new fridge. Unfortunately there are some pretty bad reviews out there on Whirlpool, LG, Samsung, etc. Will definitely purchase the extended warranty and may go with Costco because of their customer service. Samsung should stick to android phones where they know what theyre doing.

This was the first time I purchased an appliance online without actually seeing the product. It will also be the last. I was disappointed with the inside organization of this fridge. There could have been much better use of the door spaces. They are underutilized. The size of the auto fill pitcher is deceiving, the freezer is small. I looked at the distentions prior to purchase but they sure do look smaller in person. The size of this refrigerator is larger than the one it replaced but it holds far less because of the design. I got this stove in 2012 and had purchased extended warranty for 3 years. The stove was okay performance wise but scratched too easily. I had other glass cooktops that looked better even after 8, 9 years while this one got all scratched up. And three weeks back the glass top just burst when I was cooking. Thankfully the shards of glass held intact and did not fall in. As per my manual the glass top was covered for 5 years. I call extended warranty that had expired and found out that this was common occurrence with samsung stoves. I register a complaint with Samsung customer service and as per the guy who spoke he will send a service tech to inspect cause as it was still under warranty. I was asked to email pictures which I promptly did. After living 1 week without stove I follow up and was transferred to Executive customer service and the lady who spoke was really rude. She checked my email as I am on phone after asking for date and case # etc and right away says that claim is rejected because it is physical damage and after repeated questioning too could not explain physical damage and proceeded to say it was my fault. I said Ill sue them and she goes on to say I could and send me the response in email as I asked that for legal purposes. She cuts me off and emails that it is my fault hence not covered. I call again and fight my way through the same BS Executive customer service and convince other guy to open new case and send pictures from different angles. After dealing with them for 3 weeks an hour each time on phone they say they cannot honour the warranty and say it is cosmetic scratches that caused the break. How can something that you yourself call cosmetic cause a shattered glass. I will never buy anything samsung ever again. Dont waste your money buying anything made of samsung. They have no integrity and make ** products and wont even honour their own warranty.

We purchased a brand new Samsung dishwasher when we moved into our house in July of 2012. Within 5 months, there were 5 repairs done under warranty. Within a year, at least 5 more. Finally, one repairman told us the issue AND how to repair it. Samsung was no longer willing to cover any repairs as it was off warranty.Jump ahead to 6 years later and I myself have repaired the machine over 40 times. One of the cords that connects the control panel to the rest of the machine is too short so it gets pulled every time a wash is done. After a few cycles, it disconnects. Just have to remove a few screws and reconnect. We paid $700.00 Canadian, brand new. Samsung was not willing to cover more repairs after a year, refused a return, etc. I have documentation regarding my letters to them, as well as too much time spent on hold waiting for help. I finally just gave up. Washes well, I cannot afford another one at this point. Fed up beyond belief and no one was willing to help us.

I wish I had read reviews before I bought the Samsung refrigerator. We have had to defrost it several times. Samsung customer service is very poor, entailing many phone calls and waiting weeks for service people. Now when it starts making loud noises and leaking water I collect all the camping coolers, empty it and unplug it for 24 hours. Ridiculous! An expensive disappointment.

Ever since we bought the fridge it does not COOL properly, especially during the summer. We purchased the fridge in 2013. We’ve replaced several parts since then. Its hard to get a hold of someone from customer service. We are extremely upset because we spent $2,000 for a fridge that doesnt work & for that price we expect it to work properly. We also bought a used fridge for $175 & it works better than the darn Samsung. (>﹏

Purchased a brand new Samsung dishwasher in November 2010. Immediately we had some type of electrical problems. Every time we went to use the washer we had to reset the breaker to get it to turn on. The electrical panel was eventually replaced after waiting months for the part. The same thing continued so the entire dishwasher was replaced in June, 2011. In October, we experienced our first error code message related to drainage. Found to be debris blocking the drain hose. In December had the upper rack bracket break loose. Weeks later had the same drainage error code appeared again. Technician found the plastic bracket pieces in the pump clogging the drain. Bracket was replaced but eventually broke again and became lodged in pump, requiring another service call. About six months ago a new error code appeared approx halfway through the cycle. Technician advised that it pertained to a water level issue. It was one of three things - the panel, the sensor or the level gauge. To repair could be costly as it would be hit or miss. We contacted Samsung and advised them of the problem. At first we were dealing with a woman who appeared very nice (by email). We eventually spoke by phone to a gentleman who just stated that they would only work on the dishwasher if it was still under the one year warranty. Although the warranty was technically up I questioned the fact that two units malfunctioned so obviously it was a manufacturers problems and the warranty should be voided... Well it is now July 2013 and Samsung has still not said, We stand by our products so we will replace the dishwasher..... Hey Samsung...... stick to phones. Leave the appliances to the experts.

I purchased a Samsung about 2 years ago. The first year I have several issues with this Refrigerator, but was able to get help on Samsungs helpline. As of today my Samsung-RS265TDP started acting up so again I contacted support, I was having problems with my Refrigerator side not cooling down. Error code, # 5-E & 22-E. We spent several hours trying to reset the system as they guided me through the manual. Next day tried to get more help on these issues, but all I ended up with was about 5 long hours of being shuffled around the world while speaking to people who could hardly understand. I finally got to a representative in SC, who thought he could resolve my problems. But again I was transferred to someone else who had no clue, only that they wanted to sell me a $387.00 one time warranty contract. After doing a little research on this machine, I have found several Class action lawsuits are going on. I contacted a local company and did get my problem resolve for a little less money. The Tech I had advised me as to Samsung has sent out bulletins on this and similar Machines. It is just so sad when you spend almost $1800 on a item and find out 2 years later that Samsung was and is aware of these conditions and still manufacturing these refrigerators. It is kinda funny when you purchase an item at first, how salespeople are very helpful. But when you have some problems they are no place to be found. Personally I thought Samsung was a quality product, but after this ordeal I would not or advise anyone to purchase any of Samsungs Refrigerators. Anyone who has had same issues should do some research online, maybe the big Samsung would try to help people out with all these knowingly faulty problems.

Bought Samsung french door fridge August 2014. Have had nothing but problems with the ice maker. Repairman has been out numerous times. The last time Sears sent one, he said my ice maker was working as it was suppose to! I am going to call them again and have them come out. It drops ice once every 4 or 5 hours, I dont think that is right. The ice container has never been full and I am the only one using ice and I am gone 9 hours a day! I still buy a bag of ice every 3 or 4 days to fill the ice maker. I am sorry I bought this appliance. Because they obviously are not going to do anything to fix it properly.

We purchased a Samsung French-door refrigerator two years ago. After the first year, water started accumulating beneath the lower drawer and freezing, making the drawer increasingly hard to slide in/out. I have emailed Samsungs customer service department twice with specific details of the issue (model#, serial#). I have gotten zero reply except for spam marketing messages, since they now have my email address. We finally called their local authorized service (Asian-owned) and described the problem, and they immediately knew the fix -- a defective water valve on rear of refrigerator. They offered to repair it but the cost would be over $200. If this is a part that fails regularly, Samsung should issue a recall instead of sending us advertisements to buy more of their inferior-quality appliances.

I called the customer service and of course, it is not under warranty. The repair person they recommend wants $180 to look at the refrigerator plus parts which could be anywhere from $20 to $250 depending on the problem. I purchased my Samsung refrigerator model #RS265TDBP in July 2010 from Best Buy. In early 2012, the computer board display on my refrigerator couldnt be read. It appeared to be working fine, you just couldnt read it and I had no idea what the temperature was. Since it only had a year warranty, the Samsung Certified Repair in my area came out to fix it at a cost of $200.00. Then in July of 2012, my refrigerator stopped getting cold. The freezer was fine, but the fridge stopped. We again called the Samsung certified person that had done the repairs before, but they said they only issued a 30-day warranty on the computer board (which we were told by another tech was the problem). We decided to go with another repair company that gave a 5-year warranty on parts. They came out and said there was a block of ice on the fan motor, which caused it to blow out the circuit board and the computer board. Now to fix it was over $300. Now just two weeks ago, Dec 2012, the exact same thing happened again. The fridge got warm, food spoiled, no fan running and the smell of burnt circuit board. We called the company who did the repairs and had them come out again to inspect. Lo and behold, it is the exact same problem. Since they gave us a 5-year warranty on the part, they are paying for the new parts but we still have to come up with the $140 labor. I contacted Samsung to tell them about the defective unit and see if they could do anything to help as it looks like we are going to have to repair this every 3-4 months or purchase a new one. All they said was its too old and there is nothing they can do. Really? Its less than 3 years old. Never buy a Samsung refrigerator! My refrigerator is a lemon.

Warning! Do not waste your money purchasing this colossal pile of garbage (5.8 cu. ft. Slide-In Induction Chef Collection Range NE58H9970WS). It rarely bakes/cooks evenly and it will frequently and rapidly overheat causing your food to burn and ultimately fry the electrical panel. Upon calling Samsung the only assistance they were able to provide was how to spend more of my money on their faulty product. Samsung takes zero responsibility for what is clearly a common issue with these oven ranges. As it stands my options are to spend $$ on a new electrical panel and the cost incurred on its installation and the additional fix-it repair to stop the oven from constantly overheating, or throw the darn thing away. Im going with the latter of the two. I will never purchase anything from Samsung again. If I could give is NEGATIVE STARS I would.

We purchased our Samsung Refrigerator Model RF23HCED on April 14, 2014. First problem was that the ice maker room kept getting a lot of frost on it ceiling. My husband would periodically check and service it by steaming off the frost (as recommended in the Samsung Service Bulletin. Then on Oct 2017 the fan, behind the refrigerator wall began to make a lot of noise. Luckily we had purchased a 5 year extended warranty from Home Depot (strange that one was not offered to us by Samsung). The repairman sent by Asurion arrived, 10 days later, and removed the back wall and stated that the problem was Samsung poor design. Samsung had placed the SENSOR in the wrong place. He said that he would fix the problem and he did, it lasted for a year and a half.Fast forward to June 2019 and the fan starts making the same noise and the refrigerator temp starts rising. So my husband takes the refrigerator apart and defrosts both the ice maker room and the coil and fan behind the back wall of the fridge. BINGO it works (well see for how long). The Samsung Service Bulletin states that when these refrigerators have this happen there are many steps to be done AND the Ice Makers are to be REPLACED! So I contact Samsung and all I get is well arrange for a serviceman to come out.We are not paying Samsung one more penny to correct their errors. Simply send us the ice maker and my husband will do the replacement. But all they do is read a script...warranty expired...repairman will be sent. When in fact they knew, well before our warranties expired, that the ice makers needed to be replaced, as well as the sensors re-located. They did not issue a recall, but waited for our warranties to expire so that they could make us, the consumers, pay for their error(s).So a poor design by Samsung does not hurt them - just us consumers, Samsung gets to charge us for sending out repairman on each and every poorly designed refrigerator, we pay for the labor and the parts - AND - we are supposed to suddenly trust them and believe that they have our best interests at heart while they rake in more money from us. Samsung should stick to TVs and phones (the non-exploding type of course). STAY OUT OF THE KITCHEN!!

Samsung RF28HMEDBSR French Door Refrigerator - Bought ours Nov. 2014 and bought the exact same one for my mother-in-law about a month later. Our ice-maker started acting up and freezing almost a year to the day after purchasing. Then lo and behold, my mother-in-laws did the exact same thing about a month after ours started (about one year to the day for her too). I did the hairdryer defrosting trick about 5 times in a two month span and had had enough... Too much work for ice, seriously! So then I got the bright idea to shut the ice-making ability off and buy bagged ice from the store and put it in the dispenser bucket. Works fantastic, except when you pay $2300 for a fridge with an ice-maker, one shouldnt have to purchase ice!My mother-in-law has appliance guard from Black Hills and they came out and fixed it a couple months ago, and it froze over again (just received an email from her this morning). I feel terrible because we purchased this for her as a gift and bragged how much we loved it; that was before the problems. If anyone has a fix, please post the link here. Theres been lots of theories, but I dont want to call out a repairman to temporarily fix what I can do with a blow dryer... ugghhh. Why no class-action lawsuit yet? The complaints are endless on their ice-makers, etc.

About 5 years ago I purchased a Samsung RF217ACRS wide french door refrigerator. This unit has been nothing but trouble since about 1 day after the warranty ended. In the past 2.5 years I have spent about as much money on repairs as on the original purchase. The control panel continues to freeze up, ice blocks the drain, the panel has been replaced twice, several other parts have been replaced yet nothing appears to solve the problem of water all over the bottom of the unit. The vegetable bins always have water in the bottom. We bought all new Samsung appliances for our new home due to their cheap price for the collection. First warning sign. Not impressed with the dishwasher. Severely pissed with the refrigerator. The French door design of having the ice maker in the fridge section is poorly designed. Though, we had great results from similar concept but that was a Kenmore Elite at our previous home. The ice maker is not as bad as others after a year or two, but we have only had it for 6 months before problems erupted. Ice builds in the ice maker on all the components not allowing for cubes to be made for passage into the ice tray. 9 months into ownership and we are making our own ice. Read other stories and you will find the same issue. Spend the extra couple hundred dollars to get working appliances - you can thank me later.

We bought our Samsung microwave model SMH8165W on Feb 23, 2011. I know this b/c I actually registered online w/ Samsung to get the extended 1 year + 3 month warranty. They have engineered their microwave to be built to last barely above a year. Let me say, it is beautifully designed and at an inexpensive price point. It was the best deal at the time. It had features that we NEVER used - like, any of the snack features. My husband still loves it.... BUT... within a year, one of the LED legs blew out in the first number. We ignored that. It wasnt big enough to bother, you could still read the number. Id already misplaced any paperwork. Now, on Feb 18, 2014 - almost 3 years to the day that we purchased our Samsung we have another interesting error. Our under microwave light that goes from On, to Night light, to Off.. it always stays ON. One of the lights blew out so we changed it thinking that maybe that was the problem. Nope, both bulbs now burn brightly. We are out of warranty. We wont be buying Samsung again. We actually need a light on at night to cook, being in a dark kitchen. So in the meantime Im buying a set of 3 stick on LED lights for $6 on Amazon. One LED light will last 1000 hours. Lets see if it outlasts the Samsung.

I have this fridge for 1.5 years. Love the size, but milk is always going sour before the expiry date; cheese molding; and leftovers didnt last. Rationalized all these things - must be leaving the milk out too long, must have dirty kids hands touching the cheese, etc. Because the digital temperature reading said it was 34 deg in the fridge, it must be accurate right? Wrong! Verification by 3 separate mercury and digital thermometers show that the fridge compartment temp runs 40-50 deg and thats in winter (wonder how warm it had been running last summer!). This is everywhere in the fridge compartment, top shelf, bottom shelf, door, right next to the ice maker, etc. I cannot find any place in the fridge that runs less than 40 degrees. In hindsight, no wonder food was spoiling! The fridge programming will not allow the temperature to be set any lower than 34F. Service technician has replaced the main control board and the digital touch screen assembly. Have not resolved the problem. I phoned Samsung customer support and was only told that since the factory warranty is expired, they can and will do nothing. Suspecting a design flaw that they are aware of. I will update if ever fixed. Freezer and flex-drawer hold reasonable to programmed temperature (generally 2-6 degrees above programmed temp, sometimes 10 degrees higher), but those compartments have larger programming range. Can program the freezer to -8 and the flex-drawer to 29, so even if they run higher than programmed, it is OK for food storage. But even with fridge set as low as it will go (34), it still is too warm for safe food storage.

Not only does this dishwasher take over two hours to cycle through, it has NEVER cleaned the dishes. We basically have to wash the dishes before we use it and then use it on the heavy and sanitize cycles. It has become a very expensive dish-drying rack! We have contacted Samsung numerous times and have had a technician here twice. They can find nothing wrong with the machine. According to Samsung it is working within specifications. Apparently dishes with baked on food is acceptable to Samsung. It appears Samsung has a full defect on this board and it should be recalled and replaced at no charge. If the part were even available it would cost me $389.00 to replace/repair but after reading all the horrible reviews and money spent trying to repair the fridge it may be wise just to trash it and buy a GE or Whirlpool that can at least be repaired if needed. Not happy that Lowes would sell a product that clearly has major issues.

We purchased a Samsung microwave, range and refrigerator and have nothing but problems with all of them. The microwave literally didnt work when it was installed and needed to be replaced. The refrigerator needed 3 service calls and finally had the ice maker replaced. A shelf in the door of the refrigerator cracked and broke after 14 months (with yogurts in it) and now I need to buy another because it is past 12 months from purchase. The range has had 5 service calls and still not right. The stovetop cooks very hot. When the burners are on the lowest setting the fluid in the pan boils. The convection oven does nothing that a convection oven is supposed to do. It does not cook evenly nor faster at all. The left side of the oven cooks hotter than the right even after services calls with Samsung finally saying they cannot guarantee even cooking in the oven. For example if I have 2 bread loaves in the oven one will be done and the other is still raw inside. Everything that is cooked needs to be monitored because every time I cook it requires a different time to cook properly. Will never again purchase a Samsung appliance. Poor product with worse customer service.

This refrigerator has a known design flaw that allow ice build up behind the back panel in the refrigerator compartment. Unfortunately I just learn that after my Samsung refrigerator stop cooling. I bought this refrigerator three years ago and it takes $400 to fix it. Shame on Samsung. NEVER buy a Samsung appliance. Their customer service is terrible and less than USELESS. I have a Samsung oven Model ne9k3310ss with so called self cleaning steam option. It Sucks. I am 64 years old havent had to scrub an oven with SOS pads for years. Cooked a turkey. Will not come clean. Purchased this stove Sept 2016 from Lowes. It was 2 days before my daughters wedding and my previous ovens element burnt up. So no reviews were checked before we bought this one. Lowes sales rep told us good reviews it was in stock could be delivered the next day. Perfect. Used it for the wedding, except for the oven.Stove really wasnt used for the first 30 days so was past the customer satisfaction period. Oven would not hold temp, tech was here 3 times, replaced parts. Wanted so bad to just return it but no. I hate this stove and I have had many stoves over the years. The glass top is almost impossible to keep clean. Bought the daily cleaner, waste of money, need to use the heavy duty cleaner to clean it. Would not recommend this stove. I will be getting rid of it.

A repairperson will be looking at it in a couple of days. Would not purchase this refrigerator again.

In November of 2015 we purchased a Samsung refrigerator French door BLK SS unit model number RF263BEAESG. In June of 2017 we started having trouble with the ice maker not working, and frosting up. On June 30th 2017 I contacted Samsung and they put a online service request ticket in for me. They told me I would be notified within 3 business days of when someone could come and repair the refrigerator. On July 10th I received another email from Samsung support and it said that my ticket had been cancelled the email read as follows your repair for service ticket has been cancelled. If you need service please contact us and it gave the phone number 1 800 Samsung. Thank you for your cooperation. Since then I tried to find someone in the local area that could come out and look at and or repair the unit. After several phone calls I was able to find someone that works on Samsung appliances. On July 18th a service tech came to my house and told me I had three issues the ice maker was going bad the fan in the freezer was going bad and at this point it was making a horrendous noise and then the fan in the refrigerator in the back that whole unit needed to be replaced. The total cost for these repairs are going to be about $800. At this point I have a really tough decision to make do I dump an additional $800 into this refrigerator and hope that it lasts, or do I bite the bullet and buy another refrigerator from a different manufacturer. I have responded to the emails from Samsung support I have gotten no further response from them. I do intend to let them know what is wrong with the refrigerator and what it is going to cost to repair it. While I understand it is out of warranty, it is not even 2 years old yet and should not be having these major issues.I will never buy another Samsung Appliance and I would never recommend to anyone that I know to buy one whether they are family friend or Foe. This has been such a disappointing experience for me. I can only hope that some attorney somewhere reads all of these complaints and puts together a class action lawsuit against Samsung. Someone needs to hold them accountable for making a product of such poor quality. People buy for the Samsung name because their Electronics have always been number one in the market. Their total lack of customer support has me wondering if I should even keep my Samsung smartphone. I find it hard to support a company that will not support its customers.

We bought Samsung fridge on 11 June 2016 (Model No. RT39K5538S9) from BAJAJ ELECTRONICS. Within a week started formation of ice inside the fridge. We kept quiet and it started leaking water in 1st month. We raised compliant (No. **). Customer care people instead of coming to site and rectifying they instructed to do switch off the fridge let the ice melts. We did and one week it is fine. Again started forming ice. Again we raised compliant (No. **). Service engineer came this time and said PCB and Sensor needs to be replaced. Why Samsung is selling damaged products to customers? Without a proper check they are supplying products to the showrooms which is causing problems to consumers. We bought that fridge with 44,000 and suffering a lot. Instead of replacing the product if it is having problem they are repairing the fridge as it is 5 or 10 year old fridge. Disgusting. We informed all our apartment, colleagues and friends, approx. 75 people, not to buy Samsung products and they will not buy for sure.

I bought this dishwasher (Samsung DMT800RHS), though my second choice, a little over a year ago. I agree with the other comments I have read in terms of cleaning and the weird smell the dishwasher always has when you open the door. The icing on the cake is that this morning, the main wash pump has failed and I am just out of warranty. Im a single guy and only run the machine every three days or so. Really? The Samsung microwave SMH8165ST was purchased approximately 2 years ago from Lowes. First the light kept coming on and off by itself for a day or two. We unplugged overnight, same thing. Then the SE code came on. We looked online and there were many, many complaints about the SE code and at the same age of microwave as ours. Some people suggested taking off the touch board, replugging everything and putting it back. For some it worked. We simply plugged and unplugged the wires inside, replaced. Now the microwave is completely dead. Customer service just gave me a number to buy a new keypad. No more Samsung for us.

I had an old Whirlpool fridge, probably close to 20 years old and was still working, but I was updating my kitchen and wanted to update the appliances. I got a good deal on a stove and dishwasher and microwave, so I was left with the fridge. I went to Lowes and bought a Samsung. Priced right and full of features and looked cool, boy was this a mistake. After 3 months and losing an entire freezer and fridge full of food, I lost all, probably close to $400 had to be thrown out. Samsung sent a repair technician to my house and he replaced the control panel, up and working again.About 5 months later stopped again, this time, at my expense $300 later and another control panel, working again. The water stopped, then compressor, then ice maker, now freezer. These Samsung fridges are junk. How they can even be sold is questionable. Samsung DOES NOT stand behind their products and there is no technical support, just a recommendation to call a repair technician. I have never had so much trouble from one appliance in my life. I would never recommend this product to anyone. DO NOT GET FOOLED BY THE PRETTY LOOKS. The guys are crap and technicians will tell you they are junk as well. DO NOT BUY!

Full disclosure, this is all on me. Now that Ive seen how poor their service is, Im looking at all these reviews, and thinking I should have done this prior to purchasing. But I digress, I bought $10k worth of their top of the line appliances in the new black stainless finish. Almost immediately, the ice maker is dripping water and quits making ice. Samsung sends a tech and first thing he says is that these units are garbage and that the $300 part that is broken after only a month will break every year, as long as I own it. Not exactly what I wanted to hear!So after months of back and forth with the worst customer service dept I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with, Samsung says they will replace the fridge. They send it via freight with delivery guys who have no idea how to install. So they tear the ** out of the old one, beat up my house, and ultimately cant get the new one in. So they leave me with the old one that is now beat up scratched all to hell, and not working. Samsung says no problem, well send another! What!?! What about the brand new one you already sent on the truck? And the brand new one you just trashed?? They couldnt care less.So I finally get Home Depot to replace the fridge, and then, while wiping the appliances down with a microfiber towel, a chunk of the finish comes off the range. So I call Samsung back and they tell me, No prob, well send a tech to fix. They set an appointment for the next week and I wait. Appointment time comes and goes and no tech. I call back, they say, We cancelled because youre out of warranty. Wait, these are only a few months old! Oh, yeah, I guess youre right... Ok, well send a tech. Cancelled.I get a supervisor on the line, and she says, It keeps getting cancelled because its cosmetic, and thats not covered under your warranty. So the paint can just fall off and thats not covered!?! So I get really pissed and she says, OK, well send a tech, but if there is any sign that you caused the paint to chip, then youre paying for it. Fine, agreed. Get an email the next day, Your service appointment has been cancelled. I am literally speechless...these appliances look great, but they are total garbage. But the company is worse. Save yourself a LOT of aggravation...avoid Samsung.

After being hit with super storm Sandy, I bought five Samsung appliances, each one has flaws. I am so disgusted with owning these products. The quality is very poor. The stove I purchased cooks really well but it is vented from the door. Years ago, the stoves vented from the top and sometimes pan handles burned or were extremely hot. Today, they vent from the door. Now I noticed that the five knobs are all burnt. Since I own the stove for more than a year, it is not covered and they feel this is not a mechanical problem. This is not my fault. It is a defect in the product if it burns the handles. I took out a warranty from Lowes and they say it is not covered under the extended warranty. This is a problem with the way the stove vents - it should be covered under the warranty. I am very unhappy.

Buy this fridge if you do not care about hygiene and germs brewing in your fridge. Grime gets stuck in every bin and drawer with no means of cleaning the nooks and crannies. You will eventually end up breaking the cheap plastic in order to have the smell gone. Dry crusted debris get stuck often in the front of door bins and the veggie drawers. These parts have 3 layers to it with no means of taking those apart but to break. The whole world knows now icemaker is a big sham for Samsung. Only worked for couple months. I purchased my side by side fridge, model #RH25H5611SR/AA in October 2016.
I purchased my side by side fridge, model #RH25H5611SR/AA in October 2016. Mid July I noticed my fridge temp blinking. Got the manual to reset and it stated that because the temp has been changed it would take a moment for the blinking to stop. So, left it alone and when I awoke no more blinking. Two days later, July 18, 2016 the refrigerator temp is blinking again. This time I make a call to Samsung but now the now is set and no longer blinking; two days later after this it starts to blink again and I make a call to Samsung again on July 20, 2016. Im told to unplug or disconnect the power from the unit; I do this but when plugged in 2-3 minutes later the blinking has stopped but now my temp for the refrigerator is reading 61 degrees Fahrenheit. I give this info to the customer service rep who tells me that this is okay and that the temp will drop and to use the fast cool function. Now I got my first service call number on the 18th and at that time provided all the necessary information to the representative. On the 20th I asked if a new service call number would be given and was told that it wasnt necessary, the first service number was still valid. Anyway, the following morning the refrigerator is still reading 61 degrees. I call Samsung customer service on July 21, 2016, give this customer service rep the whole story from beginning to end only to be asked for the serial & model numbers. This info should have been in my file as it was given on July 18th. Anyway, once this info is provided again this individual wants to send me through all the troubleshooting steps I have already taken. When I explain that these things have already been completed with no resolution he wants to tell me that I will be responsible for charges if a technician is sent out. To say the least I explain once again to this individual that the troubleshooting has already taken place and it didnt work and I need a technician. He complies but now it will take 24-48 hours before I will be contacted. Was contacted by the service tech on Sunday evening that I had to be available between the hours of 12pm to 3pm. I get a call that the tech is running late and will arrive after 3pm. He arrives & checks out the unit. He turns to me and states that I need a new compressor. He goes on to say that this is a regular problem with this particular unit. The part has to be ordered and will take approximately 3-5 days for delivery and then they will contact me for repairs. My question is has anyone else had this problem? Is there a recall? Again, the technician stated that this is a common problem. I purchased my appliances at hhgregg and got the whole suite to include dishwasher, range & microwave. Was told that this was the top of the line appliance package. I also have Samsung washer & dryer (Home Depot). Did a little research prior to purchase but mostly price comparison but I apparently missed this site. Had I read all these reviews prior I would not have purchased all these Samsung appliances. Praying that my products dont fail but will definitely obtain some type of extended warranty to protect myself. It wont be Samsung.

I purchase a Samsung refrigerator in 11/2020 at Best Buy. At first it seems that it did not cool much. Ice machine is slow when the ice comes out. After 3 visits from Geeks they decide I needed to contact Samsung. So today was a 2 hour look to see what problem is, person on phone with another person trying to see what the problem is. My food was getting mold, so after he was told that the cooling system is at bottom and there is a flap that should open. They got the number of part, not sure how long will it be when the part will get here. Food is expensive as it is, so why dont they just give me my money back and quit trying to figure out what the issue is. RF25HM FREEZER DOES NOT FREEZE! We purchased a Samsung in July 2015. In March of this year the drawer freezer stopped working, as did the ice maker. Set up an appointment for them to come out to diagnose the problem. The service tech was here yesterday and did an excellent job of troubleshooting the problem. He thought it would be a simple part replacement (circuit board). As it turned out, it was a sealed unit problem and it would be very expensive. The refrigerator still cools, just not the freezer. He explained that the freezer and refer share the same compressor, the part that operates the freezer was clogged or not functioning properly. I assume there is a valve of sorts that changes from refer to freezer when necessary. In essence, I am saying that Samsung is junk. DO NOT BUY! They should stick to cell phones and tablets. We have a Samsung Smart TV that we wish we hadnt purchased too! The frustrating part is that it was just over the warranty period. I am certain that I am not alone in this, when you pay over $2000 for a refrigerator it should last longer than just under 4 years!

My Samsung Fridge Model #RS265TDRS started acting up after about a one year. I noticed our milk spoiled prematurely along with other items in the fridge. I remember hearing the fan in the fridge sound louder than usual just a couple of days prior to this. It appears the coils have froze up with ice causing the fan to ice up also stopping it from spinning causing a domino affect. I will have to locate the receipt and upload at a later time. I see this is a very very common problem with Samsung. This was not a cheap fridge and to be having this issue this early is ludicrous. If there was a negative star... thats what I give our four year old dishwasher. It worked okay for the first year, then dishes were always cruddy, even if we carefully rinsed them. We were forever cleaning it the filter, which was never actually dirty, but to no avail. Then, we started getting the dreaded OE error. Wed restart, and it would generally go, though wasting the fill water in drought struck California. Then, it would not work, right before New Years. Repairman came out, correctly diagnosed the problem, replaced the electronics board for $380. Four weeks later, OE flashing again. This time it was the water valve. The repairman did the rest as described by Samsung to diagnose it, as he had the previous time -- I watched. Replaced THAT part, for another $320. Worked once, then OE began flashing. To say that I am LIVID would be an understatement. I called Samsung and got the company line that because it was so old... My last dishwasher lasted 22 years. By the way, we also bought a Samsung refrigerator. Within a year the in-door water began leaking inside the fridge and then freezing under the bottom door, effectively gluing it in place. This, like the OE problem, is a well known problem and Samsung refuses to fix it. NEVER again.

We bought our refrigerator (Samsung RS261M/XAA) from Pacific Sales In Ontario CA. Like many others here, we decided to pay a higher price in hopes of getting a better product. This product lasted about 13 months. The warranty is 12 months. The refrigerator starting making this loud horrible racket which turned out to be the infamous ice dam hitting the fan. We removed all the food and defrosted it. This quieted it down again. Three months later the noise is back and were spending another weekend fixing it. We cannot afford another fridge so were stuck with this cycle for now. Do not buy Samsung Products. They are defective and they do not stand by them when they break.

I have the RF31FMESBSR/AA refrigerator and like so many others, the ice maker is broken and does not work completely. I called an appliance repair company to come in and fix it and they said its not able to be fixed unless I wanted to pay over $1,000, and it wasnt even guaranteed to be fixed at that price. He also said hes seen many other Samsung refrigerators have the same issue, it was not even worth it to be repaired.

I would like to prevent others from going through the same disappointment (anger) of trying to obtain service on a Samsung refrigerator. When I bought the refrigerator 6 years ago at Lowes, I was told I would have service. After one week of many phone calls to Lowes and Samsung (a loss of all food in the freezer), I have a message on my phone today that they do not have a repair person in my area and I am to find my own person to repair my unit! Not to mention that a 6-year old refrigerator with minimal use is broken. I will never buy another Samsung product.
