Very convenient to use, however the buttons that are on the front side seem to be a bit of problem when you get up against them, the oven lights starts up. Also, the stove control buttons are a bit confusing as they have temperatures on both sides of the button for two of the ranges. One if for low temperatures while the other is for higher temperatures. The oven is very convenient and cools very efficiently. Not a bad price for a range. The simpler the better!

I bought a Samsung 4 door convertible refrigerator 3 years ago. Several months ago the top refrigerator compartment was no longer cooling. I visited the Samsung website and created a service ticket. Within a couple days I had a Samsung technician at my home to diagnose and repair my refrigerator. After 15 minutes the tech informed me that my refrigerator was unrepairable. The technician said my refrigerator had a 5 yr warranty on the closed system and he would upload pictures and his report to my service ticket and I should expect a call from Samsung within a couple days.Following two weeks, numerous phone calls, and hours on hold I received an offer from Samsung to buy my refrigerator back for the purchase price plus tax. At this point I was relatively satisfied even though my family had been without a refrigerator for over two weeks. That was 5 weeks ago and still no check and no resolution in sight. I have contacted Samsung numerous times and all I get is excuses and runaround. I had read numerous complaints about Samsungs poor customer service, but I was willing to give them the benefit of the doubt; they have failed me. Needless to say there will never be another Samsung product in this house. Appliance buyers beware.

Bought a Samsung refrigerator and the lifetime on it was less than 2 years. The fridge got so hot on sides and on the top that you could probably cook on it. The inside was hot and the freezer was just chilly. I tried to call service and was not able to get any help. I had a service tech come out, was charged for the service, and they could not fix it. What a piece of **. They should recall all the Samsung fridges.

I have owned this pricey Samsung Induction Range NE58H9970WS for two years and am having oven issues that I would consider to be safety related. When using the lower section of my flex oven, the broiler in the top section comes on although not in use. It gets extremely hot and oven starts to smoke. On two occasions, the broiler remained on when oven features where all off. We had to turn off the circuit breaker to get it to stop. Samsung has indicated to me that there must be an internal hardware issue (no kidding!). I will be contacting the service technician in our area to have this rectified. Although I do love the induction cooktop, I would not purchase Samsung in future as it was expensive and they appear to have poor customer service.

Garbage. Ice maker never worked correctly. Shelves break. Door flapper broke. Freezer drawer slides blew out. Never cold enough. Freezer door handle pulled completely off. Freezer fills with 4 of ice on bottom and leaks water constantly. Ruined my floor. Threw away broken freezer sliding drawer. Always had to pull out and unplug to reset frozen electronic controls. Wasted plenty of food. Wish I had a bomber to drop it through factory roof. Just a complete waste of raw materials and food. Such junk and a waste of money. The only good thing about it is the arched front design which makes your reflective figure look better, while standing on a puddle smelling rotten food. Will bad mouth this company until the day I die. My Samsung tv sucks too.

Samsung. We have a ton of Samsung products throughout our home, and our children use a lot of the same. We bought a Samsung refrigerator four years ago and in our opinion its a piece of crap!!! Weve had to have it serviced a few times in the last three months, with them charging $90 to show up, $75 an hour and parts. Our ice maker quit and are French door freezer started to quit. The tech came and changed the sensor and it cost over $170.They freeze our words, the ice maker to this day has never work again, and guess what, now the stinking freezer is broken again!!! Trying to get service to respond is horrible, It took us five calls over a 10 hour period to finally get someone to respond the next day. We were told the motherboard needs to be replaced and then the tech said the signal seemed to be OK to the sensor so he really didnt need to be replaced. The sensor controls the freezer. So we decided to toss out about these hours or more of frozen food. Now we have to go out and buy another refrigerator after four years!!! Wow!!! I want to go to Home Depot to check out refrigerators have asked want to good refrigerator was in one of two that was recommended was a Samsung!!! Are you combative were going to have to spend at least $2000 for a new refrigerator it wont be a Samsung unless they offered to work something with us. We bought this refrigerator as the result of the settlement of a complaint I filed with the state Attorney General against Sears for a crappy Amana refrigerator that broke six times in five years. Siri refuses to let us buy an extended warranty Surrey: we put extended warranties on everything we own. And this is one of a dozen of the websites where we will be publishing negative feedback on our horror story with our SAMSUNG refrigerator, which is a piece of crap in our opinion.Samsung Ticket #: **. Less than 2 years - refrigerator Starts falling apart! Refrigerator needs to be Recalled! Ice maker stops making ice, Door handle breaks off with the plastic pieces still connected, and water dispenser plastic piece breaks off. Called Samsung, sends a technician. The technician sends pictures to Samsung. Samsung determines outcome despite the technician’s analysis and recommendations. Samsung blames their consumer. Samsung does not cover the any of the parts. Keep reading the reviews below from other customers. I wish I did! Samsung appliances are not built and made to last. Poorly and cheaply made with flimsy plastic that break off... The only use for this refrigerator is for a large paper weight. Stay away and Don’t waste your hard earned money. Period.

I purchased a French door Samsung refrigerator model # RF28HMEDDBSR/AA a little over 4 years ago. We started to have issues with the ice maker and cooling fan motor about 13 months after we got it. We contacted Samsung and were told that since it was out of warranty...its a 12 month warranty!! That we would be responsible for any repairs. We have now had the same thing fixed 3 times (in 4 years!!!) and it just stopped working again. This time the freezer and climate control drawer also quit working. They are both sitting at around 57-59 degrees Fahrenheit. We have had to throw away thousands of $ worth of food and when I try to contact Samsung, they are saying that there is nothing they can or will do. We have a Facebook group of over 19,000 (yes, that is NOT a typo) of other really unhappy Samsung Refrigerator owners. Seems like all models and all designs! Samsung has been aware that there was a defect in these and refuses to take responsibility. DO NOT BUY ONE, you will love it for about 6-12 months and then hate it for the rest of your life!!!

Samsung RF266 side by side fridge from Sears. The fridge also made a horrible sound in the back of the fridge. The motherboard had to be replaced 3 times. Warranty was over after the 1st panel was replaced. Samsung said theyd cover the parts but we have to pay for the labor to fix something that was already fixed by them under warranty thats broken. Horrible, horrible product. Consumers DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. Expect to be ripped off. I have only had this refrigerator (Model Rs2530BSH) for 5 years. It started giving me problems in the 2nd year. Now, it is completely out. It is hard to get anyone to work on this piece of trash and the parts are very hard to find. Once I found the parts on the internet, I was told the main part was on back order (the main circuit board) because of high demand. That is a shame. No part to a refrigerator should be in high demand. That means it is a manufacturer problem and it should have been recalled. This is frustrating and costly. Everyone who purchased this piece of junk should receive some type of reimbursement.

We have had our refrigerator for about 3 years, thank goodness we bought the extended warranty, when we started having problems it freezing up behind the back panel of the refrigerator. Also the temperature and humidity was good. The repairman came out 3 times, each time we had to empty the refrigerator let it thaw (actually, we couldnt store a lot in it because it wasnt cool enough). Finally Samsung wanted the repairman to film himself using this specific tool unclog a line, after a week they could not find the tool. According to the repairman this is a known problem for the Samsung refrigerators. Finally of weeks not being able to use the refrigerator, we got a replacement check. My Samsung dishwasher DMT300 was purchased in 2011. It broke. Heating sensor needs to be replaced. It costs me $245.00! I purchased this along with a Samsung refrigerator and that broke as well in less than 6 MONTHS! Samsung tech arrived and fix it. Thank God it was still under warranty! I had a Maytag dishwasher that was once repaired due to wear and tear but it lasted 12 1/2 years! I called Samsung at 1 800 726 7864 and they will not pay for anything since it is no longer under warranty. Even the repair technician advised me not to purchased Samsung appliances. Okay, bought this fridge/freezer six years ago. Worst thing ever bought. When it was two years and two months old, the fan sounded like it was taking off, and you could see that there was ice forming around that area of the fridge. Thankfully, I have a husband that is skilled enough to take the thing to pieces. Then involved defrosting the iced-up fan with a hairdryer (took ages) until the ice melted. Then trying to dry the now wet polystyrene lining and putting it back together. He wasnt happy. I think that lasted one year, and the process has to be repeated every time we hear the fan trying to belt its way out the back of the fridge. We are now down to every three months, and well and truly over it.What a dog of a unit. I still love the layout and the ease of the fridge, but what use is something that needs major attention every three months. Fingers crossed nothing has happened to the freezer side of the unit as yet. At present, as I sit here typing, all my food is in chilly bins, a heater is busy at the fridge door, warming the ice so that it will melt. The worst thing is knowing that that this will happen again, and again, until we dump the thing and say goodbye to a $2,200.00 purchase that should have had years of life in it. My husband reckons the people in charge of the design should be dealt to very roughly.

We purchased our Samsung Fridge in 2013 for $2,700. It was considered to be top of the line product. 2 year we had it the trays in the fridge started cracking. Very cheaply made. Shortly after that our ice maker started freezing up and ice would not come out. We called the repair man, he came out and defrosted it and replaced some parts. Within a month it was frozen over again. The more we talked to the repair man we started to understand this was a very common issue and the fridge would of been recalled if it was from another company. SO THERE IS NO FIX FOR OUR FRIDGE. So out of frustration I contacted Samsung and they kept pushing me off and telling me it was out of warranty. SO THEY DO NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCT! VERY INTERESTED IN A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT.

Our Samsung Microwave SMH9187S had to have its motherboard replaced twice now in less than 3 years due to SE error and while run a few seconds and stopping. According to their own technical repair specialist it is a design problem with moisture which occurs when cooking food on the stove below their over-the-range Samsung Microwave SMH9187S units (Very Expensive Issue to continually have to fix). See all the complaints with Samsung on the Internet regarding not fixing known design and potential safety issues with its products and discontinuing them once issues start to mount to avoid additional liability. They just say its out of warranty and not our problem, call a Samsung authorized service company to have repairs made. This will be the last Samsung product we ever buy again (that includes everything Samsung makes from refrigerators, oven, stoves washers, dryers, phones, tablets, TVs, laptops, electronics, etc. And especially microwaves). When a company knowing refuses to stand behind its product design defects the only course for consumers is to not trust or purchase any products from that company and warn all your friends and neighbors regarding of the companies business practices after the sale and they have got your money. Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me.

The design of the drawers is such that they are extremely difficult to remove for cleaning. The vegetable drawer has places where dirt gets into but you can’t reach to clean. Gross! And then there are the ice makers. Both have been replaced already. Still the top ice maker barely functions. The serviceman and I are like personal friends. I would NOT recommend this refrigerator! I bought fridge, stove, microwave, dishwasher from Leons in Canada. The extended warranty has been the best money Ive ever spent - ever. Excluding the microwave, in the three years since I bought them, Ive had close to TWENTY service calls on the three appliances. There have been numerous problems. The stove was arcing 220 Volts onto the chassis of the appliance, the top spontaneously (really!) cracked. The burner switch burned out. The ice maker in the fridge has had 5 service calls, drips water on the floor every time you open the door and still ices up regularly. The dishwasher leaves debris on the dishes even though I rinse most food waste off the dishes and they claim it has a food disposal feature. I just had multiple components including the pump and fill module replaced. Dont buy any household appliances by SAMSUNG. They are poorly designed and cheaply made.

There arent enough characters allowed to explain why I would never buy anything Samsung ever again! The latest in a long nightmare of disgust (after the Blu-ray player that scratched circles in our discs and ruined them), is the fridge (RFG297HDRS) that decided to turn itself into a waterfall water feature in our kitchen overnight. Water was streaming rapidly from the ice maker exactly 15 months after purchase. Fortunately (well, maybe not) we got a store extended warranty because, Samsung itself told us good luck and Godspeed. The authorized Samsung repair people from the warranty company changed the ice maker and left. Two hours later and after business hours, the thing started leaking again (not as bad, but pretty bad once it started). Unrelated to Samsung, the morons at Warrantech wont let you put in a new call for service for 24 hours. Insult added to the injury of this regrettable purchase (all electronics and appliances in our new home are Samsung - I loved their monitors from 10 years ago, but that was when they were scrappy upstarts, not bloated Chinese wannabes), lesson learned. My advice is, avoid these and any store-branded warranty, since youll need it and both are total trash!

Eight to ten months ago, I noticed the SE error on my Samsung over the stove microwave. I tried all the advice I found online but nothing worked. I called Samsung to find out what I could do about having it repaired but the microwave was about 18 months old and out of warranty. Blast! The microwave was only 18 months old and now I have to buy a new one. I gave it one more shot and called Samsung again. This time, I spoke to a very nice young gentleman and he came back with, Samsung does extend the warranty for one time repairs, and said he could help me. So he took care of scheduling a repair and after 3 tries of installing a new computer in the microwave, the last one finally worked. So here I am again, just 8 months later back in the same position with no microwave and no Ace in the Hole! Well Im going to give it a shot again and see if maybe my luck will hold out. Life without a microwave is no fun! I will keep you informed.

It is costing me $466 to get a new ice maker installed. This has never happened to me before with a refrigerator. I think the quality of the refrigerator is inferior and I will not recommend it at all.

Sears has recently advised me, after telling me I was to receive a replacement for this lemon that they will not honor the replacement offer. I received 2 confirmations by phone on this and they (SEARS) sent a service person over to do the return report. I awaited Sears to arrange the replacement BUT instead they reneged after I called them to find out status. Some malarkey about, We dont take fridge back due to faulty ice maker issues... even though they replaced or fixed it several times only to have the problem recur.I have both the factory warranty and the optional Sears on this proximate 2-yr-old EXPENSIVE unit. I have advised Sears by phone that I will take them to court unless they exercise good faith on assurances, promises and warranties. Anyone else out there with endless ice maker issues Id like to know.

RF263BEAESR/AA - One month and three days after date of purchase from Best Buy, the handle on the freezer drawer fell off. The threads on the plastic handle latch had been stripped by the stainless steel bolt inserted into it. The bolt was used to attach the right side of the handle. The Samsung repair rep. told me that since the handle worked when I purchased the refrigerator and no longer did, I had damaged the handle and thus the damage was not covered by the warranty.

NX58H5650 - Stove has a centre burner for a griddle however the flame level is very low even on highest setting and turning the control knob from high to low makes very little difference. Very disappointed as this is advertised as a key feature of the range and is not functioning as advertised. Have had Samsung repair look at it and they state it is up to specs. Tried to cook pancakes and it takes about 10 minutes per pancake.

The doors to my Samsung refrigerator are supposed to be stainless steel, but they are rusting. I have cleaned the stainless using mild soap, hot water to clear gunk, then wipe and apply a high quality stainless polish. I started seeing the rust a couple of months ago and have been cleaning them up. Although I am cleaning them, the rust is now starting to pit. This refrigerator is only 15 months old! I bought through Sears including the warranty, but they are saying rust is not covered as it is a cosmetic item. I called Samsung and they immediately said there was nothing they would do as this is a cosmetic item. If this were steel or if I had been scrubbing the front with steel wool, etc., I could understand their stance, but this has been well cared for. By the way, did I say this was our second refrigerator in one year?! The first one died within a month, three days before Thanksgiving! Sears says theyd send a tech in two weeks! The local Sears store sent a new fridge out the next day, but we lost $400 worth of food and although we bought the extra protection for spoiled food from Sears, they would not cover the food as a tech did not look at the refrigerator first! So, next with our new refrigerator, we have had two icemakers and still have lots of problems with it! I would not recommend this refrigerator to anyone! Neither Sears nor Samsung would do anything for me regarding this issue. So my $1200, 13-month-old investment from Sears is now rusting in my climate-controlled home! I do not recommend either Sears or Samsung as they have lied about the material this refrigerator is made from.

Our out of warranty fridge is corroding on the lower corners of our ice/water dispenser door. The corrosion is getting worse and becoming an eyesore. It is an obvious craftsmanship or material problem. The Samsung Company does not stand behind their products. Their customer service people are terrible, trying to blame it on the way we clean, the environment or rough use. They even suggested that it was a result of living near the ocean and salt, lots of that here in Ohio. They promise to call back, and you will never hear from them. Do not buy Samsung appliances. Poor products and poor support.

We bought a DD68-00143A_MES about 6 months ago. Since day one we noticed that it simply did not work as well as our old one (was not a Samsung) we had for over 10 years. At first I thought we were just not loading the dishes correctly because they were not clean. So for several weeks we tried to move dishes all over the place and nothing helped. Then we thought maybe it was the dishwasher detergent (even though we had used it for years with no problems, I thought maybe they changed the formula without us knowing it) so we tried all kinds of detergents and nothing helped! So as many of you that have complaints about the washer being the worst ever, I tend to agree. Other things we have noticed is there is this smell that comes from it. At first I thought it was our hard water (we are on rural water) but then I read some other peoples comments and see its not only us that noticed it. We have also noticed that many dishes are stained with something and we cannot remove the stain no matter how we try! Another thing is that I do not think the person that designed (its a laugh to even think someone would really use the word designed) the racks to hold the dishes has ever washed a dish in their life! NOTHING FITS! Its a chore to try and find places to put the dishes to wash them. One last thing. As like most of you we have come to the same conclusion that we will never buy Samsung again! I am however a little different than most of you. I own a lot of rental properties, and I bet you can guess the type of dishwasher that will NEVER BE PUT IN MY HOUSE OR MY RENTAL PROPERTIES! EVER!

We bought the expensive, beautiful, black stainless 4 door refrigerator for our new construction kitchen. Within 6 months, the ice maker froze - the inside becomes a block of ice. It now does this every 2-4 weeks. Because of the time involved in thawing it out, we are without the ice maker more often than not. Samsung is no help at all. They are aware of the problem, but have no remedy. Save yourself money and aggravation and avoid Samsung, its junk.

I purchased the Samsung RF217ACBP refrigerator two years ago from Sears. Slowly over time the ice maker is making less and less ice (a few ice wedges per day). Over the last two months, we have been getting water collecting in the bottom of the crisper drawers every day. Changed humidity settings on the crisper drawers and varied the temp setting of the refrigerator to no avail. Refrigerator is out of warranty so Im not willing to spend large sums of money to have service repair of the unit. From what I am reading, this may not even result in a permanent fix of the problems. Will empty the unit tomorrow and try the troubleshooting ideas I found online. I wouldnt recommend this refrigerator to anyone.

I purchased a French Door Samsung refrigerator. The refrigerator is dripping water down the inside back wall which pools under the crisper drawers and freezes. The first time I realized this the ice was nearly two inches thick and the drawers were hard to open. I called the company while at work, to discuss the issue and the representative input the phone # I called from and called me by a coworkers name, gave me their home address and phone number and began to discuss their previous concerns. This was private information and I asked for his supervisor. He would not allow me to reach the supervisor and I disconnected the call after 15 minutes of continuous requesting. That began my customer service problems. I contacted Lowes because I bought the item there with the extended warranty. Many hours, calls, and visits to the store later, they couldnt locate the warranty at first, and finally informed me that the warranty had expired and they could send a repairman out at my cost. I explained the problem being a manufacture defect. Per the Lowes manager, my model has not been reported as having the issue, but several other models have been reported with this problem. Turns out that you can pay $299 of $4000 for an appliance and the warranty Lowes provides is one year. Higher cost does not mean better quality or service.Back to the refrigerator... I was able to locate a video on YouTube of a gentleman taking the inside of the same model refrigerator apart to thaw/defrost the drain tube so the water would not pool inside the refrigerator. This self-repair job is not what I purchased when I paid $2000 for the item. I believe Samsung should be sued on our behalf by our government and banned from selling products in the United States. Where is the consumer protection in this country and why isnt something being done about the junk Samsung is allowed to sell in the U.S.? I will never purchase another item from Samsung! EVER! I hate to think of the damage they will continue to do to the consumers. The organization is out for huge dollars and based on the rating of 1 star, they are not interested in keeping the consumer. After all, the original sale is where they get the big bucks! My advice to all consumers is NEVER BUY SAMSUNG PRODUCTS, PERIOD!!! I will continue to share my experience any way possible to prevent as many people from becoming victims of this company scam.

We purchased a Samsung side-by-side refrigerator from Home Depot in Feb. 20
We purchased a Samsung side-by-side refrigerator from Home Depot in Feb. 2014. First problem - within weeks of purchase was that the vegetable drawer had no control for air/temp, fresh veggies died quickly, even carrots and root veggies. We bought $100 of special containers to be able to keep food as fresh as the old fridge. Then within the first two months, we began hearing the often-reported fan noise from ice buildup. This got worse over time and I finally called for service, also complaining about the veggie drawer. Prior to that scheduled service being performed, the next issue was the ice maker failing to shut off, even with the door open and jiggling the paddle switch. Another call to Samsung to add the new problem to the fan noise.Service arrived a week later, with a wrong ticket number, no warranty information, and no parts even for the known issue. The tech corrected the paperwork, inspected and ordered parts. Samsungs Andy then called me after the service to see if repairs were completed, and I told them of the problems with the unit, as well as Samsung not providing proper information for the tech so the service was a failure. I was told we could qualify for a buyback, which I said would be taken into consideration, and was there a time limit. I was told no time limit since the service issues were reported within the 1yr warranty period. When the parts arrived, I called Samsung to explain we were seriously considering the buyback, but were in process with the previous service issues, and should I allow the service to take place. I was told to allow the service and did so. The service was performed, both issues I reported separately were handled together on one ticket. The entire back panel housing the fan was iced up, which the tech confirmed is not normal. The ice maker continued to repeatedly dump ice without stopping, jam, freeze up and require removal, thawing and drying, even after the service.By this time we have opted for the buyback, and phoned Samsung to request it. This time I was told by executive customer service member John, that what Andy told me was not how the buyback worked. Buyback could only happen if the unit is deemed non-repairable with three repair attempts. I explained I already made three service calls, had two repairs, as well as complaints on the drawer issue, and other aspects of the design and quality that were proving very annoying. Another service call was scheduled. This time the tech arrived and was briefed on the history and issues, along with our desire to take the buyback. He ordered a new control panel, which arrived and was installed on yet another service call. The new control did not display properly and was defective. It was removed and the old one installed in its place. I immediately called Samsung to complain about their total failure, and was told they did not yet have the service information from the tech, it should be there in a day.I called a week later to inquire on status, and this time was told by exec c.s. rep, Sherry that not only were there not enough service calls and parts replaced to qualify for a buyback, she had no info from the service company on the service. When she said she had to check to see if we were within some 30 day time limit on the buyback, after having specifically asked two exec c.s. people about any time limitation, I was angry to say the least. There were more communications with Samsung on status of the buyback, process, requirements, schedule, and was given different stories and reasons every single time. I called on 11-10-14 to inquire the latest status of the most recent ticket regarding the buyback process, and the exec c.s. rep told me they had only one ticket on their records; I have at least seven ticket numbers for these issues, four of them being the 510-number range generated only at the executive level. When the tech arrived today, 11-12-14 I made it clear that the only resolution is deeming the unit unrepairable. Because one of our reported issued included cracks in the interior refrigerator walls, the tech was able to get a status of nonrepairable from Samsung. In doing so, the tech had to communicate with both his company and Samsung. The first Samsung rep he spoke to was extremely rude, and actually hung up on the tech. The tech called back, reached a supervisor, and with a few more calls finally got the nonrepairable status. Now I am waiting for Samsung to respond. Under California law, we have endured more than enough repair attempts to qualify for the Lemon Law requirement to buyback or replace the unit. Needless to say, for the combination of poor design, poor quality, and downright insulting customer service, there will never be another Samsung product in our home.Other problems with the unit included poor freezer door fit, hung crooked and uneven, gaps between the inner and outer shell where the door seal must fit, may allow warm air in. The tech showed me how the ice dispenser door does not seal properly and is not well insulated, also letting warm air into the freezer compartment.Another little surprise we got, partially because of the imperfect door hanging, is that we didnt get the freezer door shut all the way one night, and I found it in the early morning hours. Cleared out the ice maker so it wouldnt freeze solid, closed the door and left it alone. Checking in the morning, the display showed the set temp standard of -2F and 38F, so I thought all was well. But when I came in for some ice at 2pm and opened the door, the freezer was 58F with ice cream running on the floor. The unit did not reset without unplugging and replugging, a surprise because we had a power outage of several hours some time ago and the unit was fine.So if you are considering Samsung, I suggest not. As a coincidence, as the tech was here today, a friend called and I told him what was going on, beginning to describe the Samsung issues....before I could even get started, he chimed in with the same litany of problems I have experienced with his Samsung refrigerator. The independent service techs were all professional, and were sympathetic to our problems with Samsung. They did what they could to make it possible to allow us to get some resolution. Both techs who visited us multiple times have a very low opinion of Samsung and their products.

As others have noted the refrigerator by Samsung has been a problem since day one. Water and ice accumulates in the vegetable bin area. The water storage vessel located on the back wall freezes and has ruptured on several occasions, requiring replacement. The defrost heater shorts out and is not operational, numerous issues with the main control board and the reprogrammed and updated replacements, poor design and engineering requiring design modifications in the field, water and ice systems freeze up, do not work and do not dispense. Overall, Samsung service is unresponsive and basically not knowledgeable. Their design and engineering groups dont have a clue. Most recent repair included the installation of new and upgraded main panel which was to resolve all the problems. Issue is that after the installation of three separate new and improved and reprogrammed panels only some of the issues were addressed and the reprogramming actually caused other problems. The original main board panel that came with my refrigerator is long gone, no longer manufactured. The replacement panel has a new set of issues including that other basic functions were not programmed into the new main panel design. So for example, for the refrigerator and freezer to operate I have lost several functions such as the light in the freezer compartment. This item for example was never programmed into the newest control panel. I was told this directly from the tech rep at Samsung and the repair folks. Keep in mind my French door refrigerator that cost over two thousand dollars and is less than four years old is a mush mash of parts and accessories. The main panel has been replaced several times and three separate panels were required to be able, installed this time just to get to a point that the refrigerator functioned and the defrost heater assembly had voltage to operate. Keep in mind that I now have a refrigerator that have systems that cannot function because the main board was not properly programmed and Samsung does not seem to care. They wont even return a phone call and customer service is a joke. One more thing. I was with the service person the entire time that my refrigerator was being worked on. If I ever hear one more time the senior service technician from Samsung tell the onsite servicing rep let me tell you off the record what you should do I will scream!! The senior service tech at Samsung confirmed that there was a serious issue with the freezing and rupturing of the water vessels on the interior rear wall of the refrigerator compartment. He indicated that Samsung has failed to address this issue with a repair or service bull item as it would basically acknowledge that there indeed is a design and operational flaw in the unit. Off the record, the onsite rep was told to go out and get a thin piece of closed cell foam and place it between the water vessel and rear wall of the refrigerator compartment as some other site repair folks have found that to be the resolution to the vessel freezing and rupturing issue.” Well I will close out my comments for now, but will likely be writing again as the refrigerator has problem after problem and Samsung is unable to effectively resolve the issues. By the way, since my refrigerator, which is less than four years old is out of warranty, and I have had to pay for all the repairs myself, the cost to date now exceeds the original cost of the unit. The unit was about $2,300.00 and with the latest partial fix adding another $420,00, I am into this great product to the tune of over $4,800.00. No help from Samsung here!! Looking for a new refrigerator now and certainly would like to see Samsung step up and make this right and cut me a refund check for the $4,800.00 I have invested so far. Maybe they should also take into account the spoiled food and inconvenience to my family while they are at it. Dont Buy Samsung Products!!

We bought a Samsung Dishwasher at the Sears store in Plymouth, Wisconsin. It only worked for about three months. At first, very well. But after that, it would start and then shut off after about five minutes not washing the dishes at all. We would start it over and over and the same thing would happen, it would make noise as if it was starting the wash cycle, then shut off and the alert would have switched on its own to delicate, which we did not set it to. The soap was always untouched, the dishes never cleaned. We called Sears and they said our computer panel was not operating properly. We had them replace it. The dishwasher worked for maybe a month and has now stopped working again, even after a new computer panel was installed. This is the worst dishwasher I have ever owned. I was going to buy a Bosch (which we have had at two other homes and felt it was an outstanding product), but was talked into this crummy one by the saleswoman who assured me it was even better than Bosch. Yeah, right. What a joke. It is pure garbage. I feel absolutely ripped off of 700+ dollars and a lot of aggravation with two lengthy service calls and hours and hours on the phone. I want my money back but feel I have zero recourse. I am so mad we threw good money after a very, very bad product. DO NOT BUY A SAMSUNG DISHWASHER. EVER.

Samsung Refrigerator, bottom Freezer, refrigerator defrost stopped working, refrigerator completely frosted and refrigerator no longer worked. I defrosted, retried and within 2 weeks same again. I called a local so-called service person, Greg ** and he came and checked it. It had totally frosted over again. He defrosted and said he had to order the part. What he ordered was probably the most expensive part, the computer module. He returned and installed the new module at a cost of $423.73. 2 weeks later, same thing all over. He returned, rechecked and said it appeared to be functioning and there was nothing further he could do with it. At that time I went online and looked up the problem which was also a problem for others. Since it was the defrost that was not working I guessed that it must be the defrost coil or the temperature sensor. I contacted Samsung and ordered an Evaporator Assy, Refrig SMG for $123.28 and a Sensor, Temp F PX-41C TD at a price of $13.82 (all plus taxes and shipping). I did not know in advance that the Evaporator Assy included a temp sensor. I replaced both the Evaporator Assy and the Temp sensor in Aug 2014 and the refrigerator has been working fine ever since. Had I known in advance I would have only purchased the temp sensor first at a cost of $13.82, that may have solved the problem. My biggest complaint is that Greg **, so called service person, chose to replace the most expensive item first, especially since he admitted it was only trial and error and that he could not know exactly what the problem was. He charged $423.73 for something that he did not fix and I later had to fix it myself. I am not a service person and I was able to get the refrigerator working!

Why do people submit reviews after owning a dishwasher for only 2 months is beyond me. Of course its going to run great! After 1 year they will be singing a different song. Its so quiet now BECAUSE ITS BROKEN!!! I have a 0 decibel DW now, the dishwasher is completely dead. I paid $700 for this dishwasher. I repaired the inlet valve sensor, case assy, and main relay board. I finally gave up after coming across some fine dishwasher from WP on Black Friday. I have a Samsung fridge and its acting up too. I give Samsung a one star simply because there isnt a lower option. I have owned two Samsung refrigerators. The first I purchased about 9 or 10 years ago. It only lasted about 6 months and the compressor stopped working. I contacted Samsung and was advised the warranty at the time was a 6 month warranty and it would not be covered. I built a new home less than five years ago and as I got ready to purchase the appliances I had a family member that was going through a divorce that had new kitchen appliance set that he was looking to sell. The set was a stainless steel Samsung refrigerator, glass top stove, and a dishwasher. All of which had not been used but had been installed in his new home. The Samsung refrigerator worked great all of maybe 6 months and the icemaker stopped working. I replaced it and the replacement worked maybe two months and it quit. I replaced that one and the third one worked less than a year and it then quit so I purchased a countertop icemaker and gave up on having one in the refrigerator. Then shortly after the third icemaker stopped it started pooling water under the deli tray that would run out and puddle on the floor. Shortly after that it started making a noise which was the fan hitting build up ice accumulating near the fan. I had to take the refrigerator apart and clear the ice. A short while later it froze up again and this time it burn up the fan motor because the ice also froze the fan. I ordered the parts, put it back together and less than two months later the freezer stopped working. All of these issues were not covered by warranty. When the freezer stopped I fixed it by replacing it with a new refrigerator/freezer.The Samsung glass top stove, I have had to replace the glass top cause the original one busted. It busted after cooking a meal and the repairman advised me the top had an air bubble and as it was cooling off the bubble caused the glass to bust. The dishwasher I have had to pull out three times and replace parts in it. IF YOU WANT QUALITY STAY AWAY FROM SAMSUNG TRASH.

So it appears that I am stuck with a semi working microwave.

Second time I have had a problem with the microwave. Fan runs non-stop and will not heat anything. Samsung will not do anything. They only offered a protection plan that costs more than the microwave did new. I purchased an entire suite of Samsung appliances when I moved into my new home. Have had problems with all four of them. I will never buy another Samsung product again. I work in a Day Spa that has over 300 clients through it in a week and I will make sure everyone knows about the issues I have had with Samsung products. I have a daughter that is an Interior Designer and she will never recommend the products again. My other daughter is a Realtor and she will be informing all her clients of my problems. My new mission in life is to make sure everyone know what poor quality Samsung has in service and products. If you read this PLEASE do not make my mistake. I took the extended warranty on the big four door fridge. The ice maker freezes up every two months even with biweekly cleaning. Takes the company at least three (3) weeks to get here to repair it. The only answer is to not buy this product. Friends dont let friends buy Samsung. Dont buy Samsung!!!

I had 1.5 year old Samsung dishwasher DW80J3020US/AA, SN B0G8DG518407E which had 5 year manufacturing warranty. However, after 1.5 years of service machine stopped working. Control Board went bad. Samsung technician Mike from Lake Electronics, LLC who visited my machine was nothing but a fraud. Even without looking at my machine he claimed that my machine was infested by bugs and left. My repeated attempts to get from Samsung or Lake Electronics any documents proving the statement of their technician was laughed at by both Samsung Customer Service and Manager of Lake Electronics. Final answer from Samsung Customer Service was: Your Warranty is void.My technician from Broward Factory Service told me that Samsung dishwashers and other electronics are very bad and unreliable, and that I would be much better off replacing my machine than fixing Samsung on my own dime. Anyway, Samsung dishwashers are bad, and think that class action lawsuit against Samsung and its Customer Service is warranted.

Bought new at Lowe’s had to have repairman out three times before it was 4 months old. Then again just before one yr warranty was up. Declined the extended warranty and have had trouble ever since. Contacted Samsung and they informed me that there was nothing they could do for me as I hadnt purchased the extended warranty. We have had this fridge for a year and a half and it is still not working and leaking water. We have already spent close to $500.00 in repairman costs and still no help. Do not buy any Samsung appliance unless you have money to burn. This isnt right. My husband and I are considering contacting an attorney in this matter. We didnt spend the money for this fridge to have to buy it twice.

Read all of the negative reviews on Samsung refrigerators. They all say the same thing.... Ice maker freezing up, water pooling in and under the meat and vegetable bends, water overflow on the floor, filter light will not go off. Dont just read what is said on this site... Go anywhere on the web. You will see nothing but the same negative reports. Samsung will not recall nor fix the problem. Samsung sent out a service memo to the companies who sell their refrigerator in June of 2015 advising them of existing problems with the refrigerator. Lowes sold me a Samsung refrigerator without telling me about the existing problems or the service memo. Samsung will not stand behind their product. The only way we, as consumers, can fight back is to boycott the company and the stores that sell their products. Consumers are fighting back... There is a class action law suit against Samsung over these faulty refrigerators. The stores who continue to sell Samsung products without telling the customer about existing problems should be sued also.

The Samsung refrigerator is not cooling. The warranty was up on April 1, 2012. The icemaker went out first a couple years ago. Now, the fridge part stopped cooling and then it’s the freezer. I had an appliance man out and he said he hates Samsung, for they are the lowest next to the LQs. He checked out the parts and thought it was a sensor and then found out it was the motherboard. He didnt have a motherboard, so we decided to check around for another refrigerator. Meanwhile, he suggested we turn it off and let it defrost. He suggested using a leaf blower to help it defrost all the way. Also, he said it may kick off and run fine from now on, but who knows?

Certainly not enough for a family of more than 2 in my opinion. It also failed 3 months ago so I had it replaced. Looks like it has failed again. I started having odor issues with this dishwasher (Model DW80F600) not even a month after purchasing it on 5/25/14. Ive had 6 techs out to look at it and they recommend things like changing the detergent, running the hot water, using Jet Dry, etc. to re-plumbing through the garbage disposal. Ive complied with all of their suggestions. No parts were ever replaced on the unit and the one part that the 6th tech is saying should be replaced Samsung is stating that its a customer maintenance issue and claiming that Ive never cleaned the dishwasher and damaged it. To make a really long story short - its now 5/6/15 and Im being denied service on it because its in Samsungs system that Ive damaged it and its a customer maintenance issue. Never mind the fact that its been an ongoing issue for nearly a year.Ive provided Samsung with the bill of sale, all the receipts of service with tech notes on them, etc. The service notes that I received from Lowes were different than the physical receipts that I have. The techs are claiming to have replaced two parts on the unit & also making statements that are untrue - like Ive never cleaned it. I bought Dishwasher Magic on 12/24/14, which is in both my receipts & the notes I received from Lowes (who handled my first 5 service calls). Every time I talked to a Samsung rep its another story all with the same ending - they cant/wont help me.I received the technician notes (from Lowes) from the service requests that I starting in July 2014. I have attached those notes, along with the service receipts as well as a scanned image of the seal sump part & packing that it came in. This SHOULD be proof that either the technicians or someone at Samsung is LYING about what they have done to service our dishwasher. This is all due to a foul odor that has been going on beginning less than two months after purchase. I would like for Samsung to replace the bottom door gasket under warranty, replace the dishwasher (if its not fixable), OR at the very least authorize another service technician to come out, preferably a manager, to assess the dishwasher AGAIN under warranty. Samsung is claiming that Ive damaged my dishwasher & never cleaned it and therefore are unwilling to replace the bottom door gasket or allow for another service tech to come inspect our dishwasher. Here are the things that Id like to point out. The service appointment from Brand Source states that they put in parts. Id like to know what part they are claiming to have ordered and installed and ask how, since this is our first service, did they know to order that part and have it ready for installation? This is a complete lie - no part(s) were purchased or replaced on the dishwasher. I was told that we should re-plumb through the garbage disposal, try Jet Dry, and run it every couple days. Both of those suggestions were taken. We also ran the dishwasher empty with a cup of vinegar. Those suggestions and CLEANING from July (not 2 months into owning it) didnt work so we placed another service call. The initial tech from A&E came and decided that the tub/sump gasket needed to be replaced so he ordered the part. I have attached (Seal Sump) which is an actual scan of the packaging which was shipped 12/18/14 as well as the scanned image of the seal sump (product #DD62-00050A) still in the bag which I STILL have because it was never replaced as the tech notes are claiming to have replaced on 12/24/14 when in all actuality that tech (who was a different one than the one that ordered the part) said the gasket wasnt bad and that I should try Dishwasher Magic. I bought Dishwasher Magic and the tech put it in and ran started the dishwasher - therefore this was the second cleaning. It was recommended to us to try pod style detergent vs. liquid and to run the hot water in the sink, make sure its good-n-hot, then start the dishwasher. Both of those suggestions were taken and it still hasnt solved the issue. The last service on 4/8/14 performed by One Stop Appliance is completely off base. The tech notes (attached) stated that we need the bottom door gasket replaced and that he would get in touch with Samsung to order the part. I received a phone call from ** on 4/9/14 letting me know that Samsung wont authorize replacement of the part claiming its a customer maintenance issue. The tech notes indicate that I called Samsung and use the words food build up. How can the tech notes reflect something that hasnt even happened yet - my calling didnt occur until 4/9 - service was performed on 4/8. They also state that this is an issue due to never cleaning. Given that Ive provided at least 2 examples, one with a receipt, of times that Ive cleaned the dishwasher - this is just a false statement. In calling Samsung to try to get this issue resolved this has escalated from we have food particles in the dishwasher to we have damaged the dishwasher. The Samsung user manual states: CLEANING THE INTERIOR. Clean the interior of your dishwasher periodically to remove any dirt or food particles. Wipe the inside of the dishwasher and the inner part of the door with a wet dishcloth. We recommend filling the detergent dispenser with dish detergent, and then running the dishwasher empty periodically using either the Normal or Quick cycle with the sanitize option. This will keep your dishwasher clean. If white spots and odor are still present in your dishwasher, run the Normal cycle with the dishwasher empty and without detergent until it ushes. Then, interrupt the cycle and put an 8 ounce cup of white vinegar into the lower basket. Close the dishwasher and let the cycle finish. Do not remove the tub front seal (the long rubber seal enclosing the opening of the dishwasher).I HAVE performed periodic cleanings of the dishwasher and it still has a foul odor. I also rinse ALL my dishes before putting them in the dishwasher, and I wipe down excess water that gets on the door before closing it. This odor can begin within 24 hours of running a cleaning cycle. How is that a customer maintenance issue? Also, some of the phone reps have told me that notes indicate that there are food particles left in the dishwasher. If this is true then why? Shouldnt the dishwasher be rinsing, cleaning, and drying the dishes and therefore the tub? A particle is: From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia: A particle is a minute fragment or quantity of matter. [1] In the physical sciences, the word is used to describe a small localized object to which can be ascribed several physical or chemical properties such as volume or mass; subatomic particles such as protons or neutrons; and other elementary particles. [2] The word is rather general in meaning, and is refined as needed by various scientific fields. Something that is composed of particles may be referred to as being particulate. [3] However, the term particulate is most frequently used to refer to pollutants in the Earths atmosphere, which are a suspension of unconnected particles, rather than a connected particle aggregation.IF I have food particles in the dishwasher how is a minute fragment causing such an odor that I have been calling for service on the dishwasher since 7/18/14? In addition if this were a customer maintenance issue then why has it been an issue since a month after the purchase date? And in performing all the technician suggestions it still hasnt resolved the issue? I have filed with the BBB and here is their second response after I contested their first response. Still clearly not paying attention to the facts and still not willing to help. Heres Samsungs official response: Ms. **, Thank you for providing the additional information regarding your claim. Samsungs product team has evaluated all new and existing documentation available on your claim. The warranty coverage remains unchanged. Although Samsung cannot pinpoint the cause, a few examples for the odor are: infrequent cleanings, excessive food residue, the drain hose is connect to the garbage disposer, from which food can get backup into the drain hose. What would not be contributing to the odor is mechanical or part failure and the Limited Warranty only covers product malfunction or defect. There is no such evidence.I understand there were was added concerns about the part that was order but not installed. This was noted but this part nor changing it would address the symptom. With our apologizes, warranty will not be covering the cost of any further repair requests to address the odor symptom. Thank you.

Subsequently, an engineer visited us promptly and the fridge was handed over to the representatives of Vision Cool Services, 2 New Taratalla Road, Kolkata -88 on Friday, 17th of December with the verbal assurance that my fridge would be returned on Tuesday, 21st of Dec. I had requested for a standby fridge as we are a working couple and a fridge is a necessity but I wasnt provided one. On the 21st, I was given an estimate which I confirmed again with the assurance of a delivery on the 23rd. I have taken leave today in order to take delivery of my fridge. After repeated calls routed through your customer care, I was informed that they do not have a delivery van at their disposal today. I have made the purchases of perishable non-vegetable items which will now be wasted. Such callous and irresponsible behavior is not acceptable. Kindly look into the matter and arrange for a prompt delivery.

This is a beautiful refrigerator with some handy features. I had been hesitant to buy one because of all the ice-maker problems I was reading about. I was told at the store that the 2019 models had ice-makers that were redesigned so not to worry. My refrigerator was installed almost 4 days ago. The ice-maker is working, but it makes VERY LITTLE ice at one time and takes FOREVER to make another batch. The ice is stored in a bin that is not easily accessible. Ice must be accessed primarily by using the water/ice feature on the front of the door. There is no bin one can reach into. Part of the ice-maker must be pulled out of the refrigerator in order to reach your hand in to empty all ice. I heave read reviews from various consumers debating the ice volume issue. I had read that many thought the ice production was fine. IT IS NOT. If you enjoy ice in your drinks, you would barely have enough for a family of four. Then, it takes forever for it to be replenished. I live in Texas. It is hot here more often than not. We like plenty of ice in our drinks. This refrigerator is not up to the task. In fact, I have never seen an ice bin so small or one that you couldnt reach in and get the ice easily. This was an expensive purchase. Had I known about this redesigned ice-makers limitations, I would never have bought it. I will need to routinely purchase a bag of ice to keep in the freezer at all times. Other than the ice-maker, I have no other complaints at this time.

We bought a Samsung 26-cubic ft. French Door Fridge that was manufactured July 2011. It was installed in October 2011. After 12 months of use, the fan motor broke and the fridge vents iced up. This led to the temperature in the fridge going up, and all our food spoiling. We had bought the fridge through Sears, and had an extended warranty. After 6 weeks, Sears could not source a replacement fan motor from Samsung. We have heard that Samsung only makes a refrigerator model for about 3 years or less, then changes it. They rarely make spare parts, and if they do, they are hard to get. We are going to get a new fridge because Sears cannot source a part for our one year old fridge. Im amazed that such a small part is going to render our fridge useless. What a waste of a fridge, and what a disappointment in Samsung, who we thought would build a good product. This was a $2,300 fridge and should last more than a year, and should have available parts. A very good example of the low quality of appliances these days.

Where to begin: the clear plastic fronts of all of the door shelves cracked and fell off. Some door shelves simply fell out and broke as well. The center deli drawer sticks requiring serious pulling to get it open. The hinges for the cover for the deli drawer broke at the pivots which are built into the refrigerator. The cover also fell out and cracked. Our house is not air-conditioned. When the temperature gets into the 80s, the refrigerators control computer does not like that and the control panel blinks on and off, turning on and off all of the functions (upper ice maker, lower ice maker, crushed ice, water) and the temperature control randomly switches as well. The lower ice maker fell off after a few months. Samsung would not help. I engaged a private repair company who indicated that they had seen that happen before. A few weeks after he replaced the ice maker, it broke again. The repair company indicated that they would not/could not guarantee any repairs on the Samsung refrigerator. At this point, there is no lower ice maker at all. Upon several occasions, the upper ice maker flap jammed open. And as other reviewers have mentioned - Samsung customer service is about the worst one could imagine. In all, the terrible experiences that we have had with this refrigerator have given us one clear path forward: NEVER, EVER purchase any Samsung refrigerators!!!

They were no help and told me to have someone come out and told me the motor was still under warranty. BUT if it’s not the motor, I would have to pay for the service call. Are you kidding me!? I was very displeased and to see all the complaints, I am very dissatisfied. And you would think Samsung would do something about this knowing there are so many complaints. I am not happy at all about this and if there is a class action suit, I am willing to get on the bandwagon because this is a 3-year-old fridge, and now this year (summer) seems to do it the most. And the noise is back, very loud like the motor is going bad, and the leaking water is back as well. And I should NOT have to defrost my 3-year fridge. Umm, don’t think so. Samsung dishwasher a major POS! Even brand new out of the box it never worked right. A hole in the washer kept setting off the water detection alarm which shut the cycle off. Had someone out, couldnt find it... you know the rest. Out of warranty. Good luck sir. Thank you very much! I wouldnt pay to fix this garbage but I will put the cash down on some other brand.

WORST APPLIANCES. Big no to Samsung brand. I bought 4-door huge fridge in Feb 2014, paid $4000+tax + extra warranty. And guess what?? Repair guys became my best friends. I was told that there is recall on the ice maker and it replaced twice, still have same issues. I am so frustrated and feel like to throw this fridge out instead of placing an another service call. So no more Samsung in my house even they offered for free. Btw I have washer & dryer also from Samsung and dryers motor was replaced in first 12 months and washer, shakes like a crazy, parts have been changed and again I am waiting for technician and 52 LCD tv was also gone in few years:( Hate Samsung:(

Bought a 4 French door refrigerator less than 4 yrs ago. Have had 4 service reps from my home warranty co out to try and fix the refrigerator not cooling. They finally said it must have a leak in the system and they dont want to work on it anymore and have offered 1600.00 to replace it. The fridge on sale was 2700.00!!! I called Samsung for help because its only 4 yrs old. Should not have to be replaced. They basically said too bad!!! Will NEVER buy a Samsung product again nor should anyone else!!!

I purchased a Samsung side by side refrigerator 2/09. The compressor went out 11/2/09. There is a five year warranty on the compressor [sealed system]. I called Best Buy because I bought it there. BB sends a tech out 11/21 who tested everything and determined it was the compressor but Samsung must authorize that repair. I call the Samsung rep who tells me that even though a Samsung certified BB geek squad tech had determined it was a compressor, Samsung wanted to send another tech out at my expense to do the same thing. After a number of calls regarding the stupidity of a double diagnosis, Samsung told me I did not have to pay for the 2nd tech. Tech shows up and demands 105 trip charge before looking at fridge. I refuse, he leaves. I call Samsung back a number of times and ultimately the rep agrees that if I can supply him a copy of the Geek Squad work order Samsung will replace compressor at no charge to me. I call BB, get copy of work order and email to Samsung. After several days I follow up with Samsung who is supposed to call me. I am told work order not clear enough [tech in-artfully put thinks its the compressor and it is under review.] After several more calls, Samsung rep arranges conference call with Geek Squad rep who agrees to contact tech and get more definitive statement. 3 days later Geek Squad rep calls back stating its contractor A&E service will not contact tech or let Geek Squad. I call Samsung back and am told different rep will call me. Yet another Samsung rep calls and tells me that Samsung will authorize compressor replacement but only parts. States I will have to pay for labor and freon. It is 12/25/13 as I write this and still no compressor. This is no way to treat customers. I will not buy this brand again!!
