The refrigerator is new and has been working very well. We purchased this refrigerator on sale and it was delivered and set up. It has an ice maker that makes chipped and cubed ice, and makes more ice than you can use. It has filtered water in the door. It has a bottom freezer drawer that holds a bin for the ice cubes and a lot of frozen items. It has separate drawers in the interior of the refrigerator that are separately cooled. So you can keep your beer at a certain temperature while you watch the super bowl. It is a charcoal color and looks nice. The only thing I dont like is the lights of the control panel are blue behind a black panel and makes it hard to see when you are trying to order water or ice.

Purchased washer (Model dw80f600uts) as part of a new kitchen package in May of 2014. From the beginning the unit never cleaned the dishes well, always left food particles caked on to the dishes. After a few weeks it also started to smell. About 2 months after installation started to have problems with soap not dissolving. After a lengthy complaint to Leons I was able to get a technician. He put in a new soap dispenser and advised me to run the hot water before running the dishwasher. This seemed to help, but the dishwasher still did a poor job cleaning.Fast forward 7 months and now the unit stops mid-cycle and fails to finish (apparently the water temperature might be too hot now, ironic!). I have called Samsung and begun the process of getting a technician to come to my house to fix it. Of course, this will only prolong the inevitable; this is a terrible dishwasher and I will have to replace it once the warranty is up in May 2015, since there is no way I am putting any more money into this machine. I would put Samsungs customer service in the same category as their dishwasher. Im pretty sure their main goal is to delay you long enough until the warranty has expired. Their solutions to problems are also a treat. Originally I was told to check the water pressure of my house, and if necessary, have it adjusted so that the dishwasher would run better. Not really sure how one goes about checking water pressure, much less adjusting it.

10 months after purchase contacted Samsung 11 months after purchase. Convection fan quit working. Oven wont reach temperature set for oven for example set for 400 but real temperature is 310. Does not cook properly due to oven problem and when it does cook it cooks unevenly. Cooked a meal and turned off oven. Came back 1/2 hour later, glass top was so hot that I could not put my hand on the glass top. I opened the oven door to cool it off and heat pour out of the oven for about 10 minutes (in pulses) and had to switch off breaker in electrical panel. Every so often when temperatures are not working properly the breaker has to be switched off and then on again to reset everything. Call center people generally dont know what they are talking to. Went through them several times then finally got a repair man to visit us. Had to run him down about 3 weeks later and he didnt remember coming to our house and the parts were not ordered.Back to Call Center, general runaround again. Had to check progress a couple of times online. Got very stupid and uninformed answers from them. Finally bugged them long enough that The Presidents Office called and said they would replace the stove. When I asked approximately how long she couldnt tell me.... 10 days or 2 weeks. Would be couriered to our home from their warehouse.....4 hours away??? 10 days later did a follow up and got an e-mail back: This e-mail is to remind you to return your Samsung NE595R0ABWW/AC/ SN: J0WG7DCC - It has been over 7 days and we still have not received the product. If you already sent your defective unit, please disregard this e-mail. Please be sure to return your set as soon as possible to the following address with the prepaid shipping label we e-mailed you.Never received the e-mail the phantom e-mail with shipping label (Why would I ship the stove out without the replacement being here). I phoned the repair station to where I was suppose to send the stove, it was 1 1/2 hours away and it would go right by one of their other stores only 40 minutes from our home. Next e-mail gave me the 1-800 number to phone again, they would help me. And the circle of denial has begun again. There is no honor here because they have not honored their contract (warranty) with the consumer.

I purchased a Samsung front load washer 15 months ago and have had the same component go out THREE times. The door will not lock and so you have to hold the door until it locks. I have had to have it replaced twice during the warranty period. It went out again a month ago and they refuse to replace it again because I am no longer under the 12 month plan. EVEN THOUGH it is the EXACT SAME COMPONENT that keeps going out. Now I am forced to pay repairs on my own and Im sure it will continue to happen seeing its clearly a flaw in the washer. Customer service was not helpful and I was told there was nothing they could do because I didnt buy the extended warranty.

Oh, If I could only give this refrigerator 0 stars. As with everyone else--ice maker is totally useless (My husband LAUGHS when I defrost it yet again and tells me to stop wasting my time!) BUT now need to use a blowdryer to warm up the vents in the back of the refrigerator so it doesnt sound like a jet engine!! I spend more time caring for my refrigerator than it takes me to clean my entire house! Repairman tells me to not bother him as he cant help. The sad irony...our old refrigerator was great except the ice maker didnt work!! Kitchenaid, why did I ever leave you!?!?

WHEN I moved into my home, there was a Samsung dishwasher, brand-new. This was almost 4 years ago. My hope by writing this is to educate consumers about my experience. It was non-stop issues from the first month. Over the years, I replaced the pump. I had a number of repairmen out, who each time took a look at the dishwasher and laughed. They all told me it was a hunk of junk and dont waste money on it. Over the 4 years I spent over $800 on repairs. Now, it broke again. I have replaced it with a Frigidaire. I am very easy on my appliances, I ran it about 3-4 times per week. I used the best detergents only. I scrape dishes thoroughly. My things last me many many years. This did not last me at all - as I was contacting repair people the entire 4 years. I fear I have other Samsung appliances that were here when I moved in. I have heard from too many in the appliance industry as to the track record of Samsung appliances. I wish to educate potential consumers as to my experience, the money incurred - the waste.I should also mention I contacted Samsung a few times. They could not care less. Besides not speaking English properly so communication was limited - truth is - they could not care less. The only good that could come out of this is I save other consumers fortunes of money. We all work very hard for it - and clearly others could not care less how they squander it for us. There is also no price that could be placed on the HOURS I invested in trying to salvage it. Please, buyer beware.

We have had our refrigerator for about 3 years and had many problems with it. The defrost drain continually stops up and the water pools up in the crisper, the meat compartment and the bottom into the refrigerator. You have to unload the refrigerator and manually defrost it (takes 24 hours or more). This lasts for about 6 months and you have to do it again. The ice maker is noisy and continually drips water out of the dispenser. The ice maker also sweats inside which causes many problems. The doors are very hard to close and keep close. When you shut one door, it pushes the other door open. You must make sure you push both doors at the same time. Samsung was no help even though this is a widespread issue with their refrigerators. Will never buy a Samsung product again!

Sumsungs excellent customer service is a customer’s nightmare. Here is our experience: 2 days before X-Mas 2014 our 3 month old fridge model RS22HDHPNSR stopped cooling properly 2 days later it stopped all together but the temperature readout did not indicate a problem and remained at the normal settings. 12-24-14 called Samsung customer service gave all of our info: Name address, phone #, e-mail address. Was instructed to reset thermostat, called back after a few hours to inform Samsung that unit was still not cooling. Advised that a repair service would come in 1 to 2 days to take care of problem. 12-27-14 After several hours working on our fridge repairman told us that the unit suffered a major failure and parts would need to be ordered. We contacted Samsung same day again had to repeat all of our personal info and we now requested a replacement for our 3 month old unit. Thats when the nightmare really began. We did not hear from Samsung and had to call daily for updates. Each time we received a new ticket # and were told our request was in review. On 1-2-2015 we were informed that our request for replacement was denied because replacement parts were in. On 1-7-2015 After 2 repairmen hammered and soldered for 3 hours on our fridge in the kitchen they could not fix it needed more parts. Again we called Samsung requesting a replacement and again never received any updates. On 1-9-2015 finally got through to a supervisor who than told us after speaking with another supervisor that our request for replacement had been denied a second time, because the additional parts are in. On 1-13-2015 after 3 more hours working and banging our fridge it was working. After a 3 week long ordeal of no refrigerator/freezer, uncounted hours spent on use less phone calls speaking to a total of 36 Samsung employees we have a rebuilt Samsung refrigerator. Samsung Excellence Customer Service??? You decide.

I have owned my refrigerator for less than a month. When it was delivered I noticed a small dent in it which the store compensated me $70 for. A week or so later I saw a small chip on the same door. This is a black stainless steel refrigerator that retails for about $1800 (RF261BDAESG). I went to the store and they told me to contact Samsung. I spoke with Samsung and they said they would send a technician out and gave me the company name. I was contacted by that company and told that if they came out and decided it was physical damage I would have to pay for the service call, $200. Also said that if I wanted it fixed it would cost up to $400. I have no intention of paying for any repair for an appliance thats less than a month old.First whats physical damage? If they mean that it was done by me how can that be determined? Whos to say it wasnt caused at the same time as the dent was made? Why would they sell a product that can seemingly be damaged so easily? I spent about 30 minutes on the phone after speaking with their service center trying to resolve this, as long as I dont pay. Im pretty sure they would say its my fault just to save Samsung money. My main concern is the lack of customer service from Samsung because I bought an entire kitchen suite. I purchased Samsung because I had always heard positive things about them but I can guarantee that I will do my best to dissuade anyone from purchasing any Samsung product.

I bought a new Samsung Stainless Steel Range in November 2011. I was away for 3 years and the stove was hardly used. Just got home and was cooking for about two months. It seems to have a problem heating the oven and cooking a small chicken takes much too long. Burned on the top and undercooked below. But the MAJOR issue was my exploding cooktop. I was sitting in the living room. I had just warmed my soup and had turned the cooktop off. I then heard a major explosion... like a gun going off in the kitchen. The cooktop had completely shattered. There was nothing on the stove thank goodness and no glass was projected into the room but it really scared me. I know from reading the other complaints I share customer experiences of poor quality and feeling afraid of your stove. I also know they will tell me the stove is past its warranty. I wont even try. It was defective with only 7 months of real use. Built in obsolescence is alive and well with Samsung.

We acquired our refrigerator Model #RF4287HARS in late 2010. The representatives sold my wife and I on durability and long lasting performance. Since the purchase we have had less than adequate technicians out to work on the refrigerator. The freezer just stopped working, the ice maker stayed messed up and very aggravating to press buttons to change ice cube size. It just quit working. The freezer was never repaired after parts were ordered and placed on. Over $600.00 in costs to us. The refrigerator has been a total piece of junk at a purchase price of $2310.00. We bought parts and paid repairs, and the technicians did not get the right parts, then when correct parts came in they said it would be useless to put on because the freezer was not worth repairs. We were reimbursed $195.82! Ha.After all the stress and aggravation, needless to say the ruined food we stored in freezer - a great loss. We were so sickened by the fact that we thought we made the best choice in buying a Samsung appliance, but this has proven to be a very expensive and stressful experience. And we bought a dishwasher at the same time, but replaced it in 2 years for $650.00. It did not clean and didnt last. Just thought we made a mistake and bought a cheap one. The one we bought in late 2012 is working like a charm, but it is not a Samsung product.

We had our brand new refrigerator delivered yesterday. This morning realized the refrigerator part was really not cooling off enough. Checked the degrees in it and it registered 50. We called Samsung and was told we had to go through where we purchased and they in turn contacted Samsung. Samsung at first tried to say 50 degrees was acceptable. We went down to Home Depot with the manual and asked where does it say that. After a number of phone calls Samsung has agreed to replace it but a new delivery one month from now! They leave you high and dry and could care less you are without a refrigerator and why would I want it repaired. I forgot to mention the handle was broken too! At this point I want Home Depot to come pick up the refrigerator and Ill pick out a new one. Not a Samsung brand. Customer service does not care about the consumer! Will never buy that brand again!

Thankfully the appliance was under warranty so the repairman came and fixed it. I thought everything was fixed until about 8 months later. No more ice. Every two weeks my husband and I have to take apart the ice machine system and thaw it out. My dad, my brother, my father-in-law, and my brother-in-law told me not to go with Samsung, but I didnt listen. Now, Im paying the price. In less than 8mo Ive had 5 technician visits to attempt to fix my dishwasher. After 5 visits I finally got frustrated, and decided to call samsung to see if they would replace my dishwasher since its obviously defective. In short, their answer was no! First time the dishwasher broke was about 4mo after I purchased it. It would stop mid cycle with an error code which meant that it got too hot. That took 2 visits and as many weeks to repair. At the 7mo mark (July 1st), it stopped washing the dishes in the bottom rack properly. I contacted Samsung July 3rd. It’s July 24th and the dishwasher is still not repaired. Technician came out and said that he had to replace two parts, the bottom spray rail and the control panel. He had to order them. That was visit #3. Visit #4 was when he came to replace the parts. After a couple of hours of work the dishwasher was still not repaired. He said that there was another part broken, the motor that moves the rail. He’s suppose to come back Wednesday, July 29th. In the past 8mo, according to my count, 4 different parts have broken on Samsung’s “top of the line” dishwasher. I hope my review keeps someone from making the same mistake I made. moral of the story: listen to advice...do not buy samsung appliances. Theyre inferior quality. They look nice on the outside, but theyre garbage on the inside.

The oven stop working 13 months after the purchase date. I called the customer service center to discuss how disappointed and upset I was about the faulty equipment we were sold. What really upset me is the repair company they referred me to order parts before coming out to examine the refrigerator which lead me to believe the problem with the ice maker was a known issue. The same thing happen when the repair company called about the stove. Im so frustrated they knew of the issue with these appliances and dont have a problem passing the repair bill to the consumers. I owned GE appliances for years. Decided to go with Samsung because I thought they had a good product. Im so upset and disappointed. If I could afford to I would replace these appliances. After the first year, the fan motor started squeaking very loudly. I read online about how everyone had the same problem, so I oiled the spindle and it helped for about 3-4 months. I finally had to replace the original fan, which was a cheap, plastic model. This year, the refrigerator would not keep the food cold. I had a repairman look and he said it was either the defrost sensor, the heater or the cpu board. I started with the defrost sensor and the appliance part guy said, Samsung! Oh God, how old? Three years, well, thats about the life of that. Its done. The sensor did not fix the problem, so instead of wasting more time and money gambling on either the heater or the cpu board, I am replacing this piece of junk. Every online board says the same thing, that this is an inferior product. I spent over $1,000 on this thing and it lasted me 3 lousy years. Now, I have to spend another $1,000 on a new refrigerator. Do you think I will ever recommend any Samsung products or purchase another one again in my lifetime? I will tell everyone I know to not buy Samsung. Every piece we looked at was plastic and low cost.

They told me that they would send a repairman out and told me that I would have to pay for the service call and that the part was a cosmetic issue and that it is not covered by their so-called warranty that is not worth blowing my nose on it. If there is anyone wanting to do a class action lawsuit I am in. I will never buy a Samsung product as long as I live. Lowes Home Improvement was not any help. I will never spend any of my hard earned money at Lowes ever again.

First the motherboard went out and my clams, lobsters, and shrimp got spoiled. I had the insurance right? Ok. The Geek Squad gave me a new refrigerator with the display always showing when you go to open door get ice or water. Now ever since Ive had this fridge every year since 2014 in July the ice maker goes out and a new one is replace. I got tired of paying for the insurance and let it go in October of last year. Guess what. ICE MARKER WENT OUT AGAIN. THUS ITS THE 4TH YEAR IT HAS DONE THIS. IT COST WITH LABOR AND PARTS 419.00. I hate Samsung products. Where and when will there be a recall on this ** ice maker??? Ill make my own goddamn ice!!!

We installed a Samsung SMH9187 over cook top microwave in August 2009. I liked the 5 speed fan. The low speed was quieter than others at low speed. Controls stopped working August 2012 so I replaced membrane touch pad - a 3 year life. Now May 2013 (0.75 years later) and no response from touch pad. I just solved the problem. The problem of lack of response to control pad (a membrane switch) was to separate two sections of the control pad cable. The membrane switch type control panel was a film cable that connects to the circuit board. A 7-wire piece folds back on the cable, causing confusion for the control system on the PC board. The solution was to insert a small rolled up paper tube to separate the two cable sections. To test this I removed the paper tube and clipped the cable pieces tightly together. The controls became unresponsive. Separating the cable sections again restored function. This is a quirk in the Samsung design. It may have been unnecessary to replace the first membrane switch ($19). When the new switch was installed, by chance the two cable pieces were separated just enough to work. Then over time they moved together, initially causing some problems, then later total non-function. This problem may cause one to push hard on the buttons to make it work, possibly damaging the switch.Step by Step Instructions: 1. Unplug microwave for safety; 2. Remove 2 vent cover retaining screws from top front of microwave; 3. Push vent cover left to unhook and remove; 4. Remove screw on top of control panel box; 5. Push control panel box up to unhook and remove. No need to disconnect anything; 6. Insert a rolled up tube of paper 2 to 3 between folded back 7-connector piece and the main cable; 7. Re-install control box and test. Then re-install vent cover.Im amazed at all these problems people are having. One would think Samsung would help, but it seems they hide behind warranty is up so call a repairperson. Our last phone purchase was Nokia, not a Samsung, as I have lost faith in the brand.

I purchased a Samsung Model # RF28HDEDBSER (with French doors and freezer on the bottom) from Lowes about two years ago for about $3,000. After a year the iced maker broke down and we no longer have ice, it also makes a grinding noise. Now about 6 months later the refrigerator is barely cold enough to keep our food cold and the digital feature is malfunctioning and shows that it does not maintain a proper temperature; it keeps shutting off. We are very disappointed in this product, so we were not surprised now to discover many complaints with the same issues.Just filed a complaint on the Samsung website but do not expect them to respond, they said they would respond but kept me waiting in the chat for more than 10 minutes. Please do not buy their refrigerators they are not worth it and the honorable thing would be for them to replace a refrigerator that we expected to function for at least 5 years. It also makes me wonder about the quality of their other products. We dont have $3,000 just to buy refrigerators.

My Samsung refrigerator was ordered from Home Depot and scheduled for delivery on 12/2/2013 by 11am. At noon on 12/2/2013, I called Samsung at 855-681-6917 to find out what the delay was. I was told by Samsung that the delivery date had been moved to 12/3/2013 and given no reason for the delay. Later, I received the automated call telling me my new delivery time on 12/3/2013. At 9:30am on 12/3/2013, a representative named Trey from Samsung told me that my unit was damaged and would not be delivered. He would get back with me within 48 hours to let me know my new delivery date. Well, no one called so I called them three days later to find out the status of my delivery. They said it would be 3/4/2014 before I could get my new fridge. Sorry guys, but no one keeps my money for 3 months with no performance. I will cancel my order on 12/9/2013. Also note that when I place the fridge in my shopping cart on the Home Depot site, it shows an estimated delivery date in January. Whats wrong with this picture??? Its a big fat lie. Samsung has a problem delivering and I dont know why. I cant imagine what service would be like after the sale. Im done with Samsung appliances.

We purchased a counter depth refrigerator back on 2012. We have had nothing but problems with the ice maker and switch to dispense ice since we had it. Not only did we spend a lot for this refrigerator, we have continued to have to sink money into it to keep it working. Then we bought the $500 over the range microwave. Bad move!!! After having for one year, the number buttons on the front became hard to work. Now we have 2 numbers that wont work at all. But of course they are telling me that they dont cover this under the warranty. What good it the microwave if you cannot program in the time to cook??We also bought the induction range. I hope this holds up. We will never ever buy from Samsung again and will also advise all family and friends of our bad experience. My sister also had same issues with her Samsung refrigerator. Samsung might make good TVs but their kitchen appliances are a piece of junk and they do not care how much you spend on them, they will not cover repairing a function like the number buttons! The microwave just stopped working suddenly and displayed the error code SE. My husband was able to find a YouTube video on how to get it working again. It worked for a few weeks and then happened again. My husband fixed it AGAIN and it works for a while then went out again, and again, and again. Each time the fix lasted for a shorter time period until it just would go back to the error immediately. I cannot understand how companies such as Samsung are allowed to make products like this and rip off their customers. We havent had the microwave long...probably 3-4 years but it seems nowadays you cant expect anything you buy to last long no matter what you pay for them. It is completely IGNORANT that Samsung manufactures these over the range microwave models that dont vent well and the control panel is directly over the burner of the range where you boil water. Seriously? STAY AWAY FROM SAMSUNG MICROWAVES!!!

Ice maker never worked properly (leaked, jammed, made inadequate ice when it did work). Since I had another refrigerator, I decided to take out the ice maker to make more room in the freezer. Did so (after great effort--badly designed drawers for removal). Refrigerator wouldnt work. Went on chat line. First time worked with someone for 25 minutes who obviously didnt have a clue about my particular model (kept referring to buttons that didnt exist) even though I had given her the correct model (french door unit)--then cut off. Tried again; passed to another tech. In both cases, I asked if the removal of the ice maker might have caused the problem. Was assured not. Went through every possible trouble-shooting efforts (most of which I had already done). Asked again: could it be that the removal of the icemaker was causing the problems? No, I was told, I would have to call a service rep. Before I did so, however, I reinstalled the icemaker. Refrigerator worked perfectly. Apart from the fact that English is clearly a second language, these folks dont have a clue about their own equipment.

I bought a Samsung refrigerator a year ago. Called Samsung multiple times and got the runaround from one department to another department never heard back. The ice cubes are so big they get stock in the opening and fails to fall into the cup. Because the temperature fluctuates ice cubes sweat stick together when the temperature drops again now theyre too big to fall through the opening so youre constantly taking the icemaker tray out breaking up the ice. I am a 73 yo Veteran and have had a dishwasher all my life. This Samsung dishwasher (Model #AA3JAG9MC&05835Y) is the worst I have ever owned starting with the dumb design of the dish racks that make your glasses fall over and dished roll when the rack is pulled out or pushed in. The worst problem is that it does not clean the dishes, I have been embarrassed several times when guests poured a drink and then dumped it when they saw the glass was not clean. I wash the dishes before putting them in the dishwasher and still have to put a lot back in the dishwasher when they come out dirty. Ran the dishwasher twice yesterday and the dishes and glasses still come out dirty. Samsung wants me to spend my money to have their reps come out to fix the problem. Not going to happen, will throw out the Samsung and buy another brand that does what it is supposed to do.Also having problems with my Samsung Grand Prime cell phone. Friends are cursing me for not answering my phone only to find out that the ringer has changed from sound to vibrate or do not disturb WITHOUT my knowledge. Samsung can correct by a simple LOCK function on settings but after numerous calls and requests Samsung did nothing to correct the problem. We bought a Samsung suite of appliances: stove, microwave, refrigerator, and dishwasher. Within the first week or so, there was a burn mark on the door frame on the microwave. We tried to clean it, but it was definitely a burn mark. After a day or so, we noticed the mark getting larger, so we called Lowes, who directed us to Samsung. Samsung took about two weeks, and after many emails and photos sent in to them, they finally sent out a repair tech to look at the issue. The tech also took photos, and stated that the door frame was out of alignment and not flush, and that he could only see this mark growing. He advised not to use the microwave due to stray waves escaping, which were causing the burning on the door frame. We then had to contact customer service repeatedly to obtain a replacement product. Many more calls to coordinate with Lowes, and finally, we went to pick up our unit and found out that what Samsung told us and what Lowes wanted were two different things. Samsung did not send in the right paperwork, so Lowes would not release the replacement unit to us even though we had uninstalled the first one and brought it with us to the Lowes store. Back into the car it went, and more calls and emails.During this series of emails, the Samsung customer service person offered to pay us up to $150 for installation and re-installation of the unit. We followed her directions, and we went to pick up the replacement unit again from Lowes. This time, the exchange went fine. We mailed in the invoices for the uninstall and the re-install, as per instructions. Then the waiting and the follow-up emails started. No reply from any of them. We sent in regular emails over a long period of time. I like the Samsung refrigerator. They can keep the dishwasher, and the stove is just okay. The microwave seems fine now. After this entire experience, I would not recommend any Samsung products to anyone we know, unless they can service them themselves.

Other problem is with the ice maker. Currently still purchasing bagged ice due to lack of function. Called Home Depot in Knoxville because we purchased warranty through them. They told us it was still under factory warranty so they couldnt help us. Wondering why they sell warranty if they do not honor it at this point. So I purchase 2 Samsung smooth top convection ovens July 27th 2017 for a small in home commercial kitchen. The use of these ovens would not exceed what any normal home would do in a year as my business is somewhat seasonal and a very small operation. In June of 2019 I noticed one of them not holding its temperature. It would be set at 350 and would actually be 405, or 215. I had a repair tech come out and after trying else we replaced the main brain. This sadly did not fix the issue. Then in August the other oven started doing the same thing. After exhausting every fix the repair technician said that there is nothing else to replace so maybe call Samsung and ask them to do something. After three months of being told they will get back to me with a resolution not once did they contact me back, as promised, until I got cross with them and demanded some kind of answer. Well there out is my little operation! I was told that even one week of use in a commercial setting voids all warranty and that I would have to just get them fixed. HOW!!!! The Samsung repair technician has already tried replacing everything. Never buy Samsung appliances. Just sayin.

This refrigerator (Model RF263Teasesr) is 2 years old and nothing but problems. Water continually drips down door. Now 2 years old and the internal temperature is 55 - 60 degrees yet the control panel on the front says it is 38 degrees leading to food spoiling. Frost continually builds up in the twin cooling portion and within the icemaker. Nice looking fridge that cost $1600 and does not work. Never, never buy a Samsung fridge. Their help line is staffed by people who try to be polite but are of absolutely no help. To make matters worse, their warranty which supposedly covers defects in materials and workmanship one year and five years is irrelevant. The only way to determine on the extreme off chance something is covered is if a Samsung approved repair person services it. I wish that I had read all of the negatives reviews regarding Samsung refrigerators before I purchased one. I will have to admit that I have had mine 4 yrs. & today is the first repair job but it seems to be the same problem that everyone is complaining about. I have had water collecting in both veg/fruit drawers. After $250.00, I hope the problem has been corrected. The FF was freezing & leaking per info on repair ticket??? The repairman replaced the heat probe. He said that many of these have had to be replaced. The original ones were too short & they are being replaced with longer ones. This sounds as if there should have been a recall since he told me that he had replaced several with the newer type probe. I do not have any hope of anything being done by Samsung but it sounds as if they should have addressed this problem instead of denying that there is a problem.

Samsung fridge SR320MLS purchased 3 years ago at Noel Leeming Manukau, NZ. But after a year and a half I found out its left and right both inner shell hook for vege bin is broken at small coin size and Samsung has replaced it to new one, it was smooth and good. But a year and a half now from replacement, exactly same place of left and right inner shell is broken at small coin size but this time Samsung service NZ, they wants to stick some patch on both side of broken inner shell. Imagine about it Ive paid $1,134 for good look stainless fridge for good fresh stuff for my kitchen but do I have to use broken shell fridge with ugly patch because of Ive choose weak and wrong product, that seems like a manufacturing fault? Are you happy at all? Of course not! Therefore I asked them for replace it to another right stronger model with extra payment but they didnt allow it for 2, 3 times so Ive required for talk with NZ general service manager for and she called me for 2 times but unfortunately my battery was flat and I was at outside so again Ive let them know good time to contact with me but neither G.S didnt contact me nor Im able to speak with her through call center. It was 3 months ago until now they did resolve my claim and G.S never contact to me. How many times do I have to contact to service center??? Because of they are wrong product totally it was more than 5 times. Now Im very sick for Samsungs after service. Please tell me something, what shall I do?

Another Samsung piece of junk. We have a Samsung side by side with bottom freezer and the ice maker has been freezing over ever since the warranty expired. We have to defrost it every week now and seems to be getting more often. We contacted a service rep and he says he cant even fix it because there is a hole inside the icemakers cabinet, which is covered with a piece of duct tape. Well we didnt put it there, thats how it came when we bought it. So I guess $90 just to know why we have been having issues with it.

Samsung Twin cooling plus. My fan in my refrigerator (Model #RFG297HDRS) started making noise and then stopped working all together on my refrigerator that is only 2 years old. Samsung support claims that there are no reports of this being a problem. That is not what I see checking reviews on the internet. Wish companies took quality of products more seriously. Very DISAPPOINTED.

Just reviewing to save people heartache and time. Do not buy Samsung refrigerators. Amazing that they get away with manufacturing junk, basically. And they charge a lot for it. We’ve had our Samsung model RF28HMEDBSR/AA for 4 years. The ice makers freezes up constantly. The fans freeze. I’m forever using a hairdryer to fix the problem. Insane. The fans get full of ice and make a loud disruptive noise. Get the hairdryer again! Will probably cut out losses and buy a new refrigerator. This Samsung isn’t worth the headaches. Do not buy Samsung. My sister bought a similar model and has similar problems.

Samsung fridge has had a problem. Repaired twice for frosting up to 1 on the back wall in the first 3 years of use. Unfortunately I didnt learn my lesson and purchased a Samsung over the stove Microwave from Costco.ca 9 months ago and now it has what seems to be a common problem of not wanting to shut off when the timer is done. Its great that Costco has such a good return policy and I will be returning it and buying another brand. I will never buy another Samsung product again! My Maytag Nautilus washer and dryer are 14 years old with not one problem and a lot of the time used by 2 families. When buying appliances again Ill check to make sure that theyre Made in the USA.

We have had nothing but problems with our Samsung refrigerator model RF24J996054. We have to defrost the ice maker at least every other week. The ice is soft, and gets stuck when dispensing. Further, the bin to store ice, does not hold enough ice to make it worthwhile. We are thankful that we have our old Jenn-Air in the garage. It is a workhorse. It is sad after spending sooo much money on a new refrigerator, we are traveling back and forth to the garage to get ice. We are in the middle of yet another repair, and have been waiting over two months for the part. I called today, again, and am being told that the part is not available. Really? So now what do we do? Samsung makes a poorly executed product, then doesnt have the parts to fix it? I will never buy another Samsung product again, and would not recommend Samsung to anyone. They dont even deserve the one star.

Bought the Samsung DMT800RHS dishwasher from Lowes and installed it. After about 6 months of use, I noticed the top rack was sagging and not very sturdy. I noticed the adjustment clips were broken off the rack and I found 3 of them in the bottom of the dishwasher. I thought it was strange because we had never used the adjusters to raise or lower the rack. I called Samsung and described the problem so they looked up the date of purchase and said they would send out new adjusters to replace them. I got the parts and installed them. After about 4 months I noticed that 2 had broken off again - I knew it was a design flaw. I checked another model at Lowes and noticed they had a different design on that dishwasher for the upper rack. One morning after running the dishwasher the night before, I opened the door and began removing dishes - they were still dirty and there was liquid soap running down the door inside that had not dissolved. I reloaded the dirty dishes and turned it on. It filled with water, but the motor did not run and there was no washing. After checking out the control board (okay) and talking with Samsung, I tackled the problem myself. I removed the wash arm, unscrewed the filter module, removed the housing and found one of the broken clips wedged in the pump motor. After removing the piece and reassembling the module, it filled up with water and started washing. Samsung needs to provide a retrofit for the rack adjusters and send to all of their customers. I am considering making a clamp to wrap around the adjuster and the rack to keep it from falling below. Put my name on the list of dissatisfied consumers and contact me for a retrofit when available.

Just too angry to write right now. I will edit it later. Ice maker is totally junk. The freezer ices over constantly and I have to empty it into a cooler while I remove all the parts of the freezer to scrape and clean them. The slides freeze up as well and it is hard to open. Shortly after that the weatherstripping between the French doors started to tear and so did a part of the gasket on the top of the freezer drawer. I was cleaning the right pull out clear plastic drawer and to get to the spot where things collect, I pressed gently and the whole front broke and fell off ($75 to buy a new one). From the start the customer service has been terrible. At first they had no record of me buying it, and after I scanned and took a picture of it with my phone and sent them in they either said they could not read it or never got it. This went on so long it was passed its warranty. I have never been treated so badly from a company I paid a lot of money to for a fridge and got ZIP! I went through a similar situation with my new Samsung washer that was recalled and I could not get the same replacement so I had to get a smaller size and I was told the soap drawer would have the updated roller bearings and it does not. No response from Samsung or Best Buy for that matter. Never buy a Samsung appliance again!

Approximately 12 hours later, it began to work. Again on July 12, 2012, it has stopped cooling and the freezer stopped freezing. Amazingly, the digital temperature gauges register the temps as in their selected range.

On July 2016 I purchase all my kitchen appliances from Samsung at Best Buy. Unfortunately its not a year of purchase and I had a very bad experience which I believe its not fair for any consumer. First, they advertises that the appliances are stainless steel, which is not. It is hard to clean. On the range side the flat top is also hard to clean and it scratches easily, which it shouldnt happen due to the fact that that is a every day use item with multiple use. I dont accept the fact that they are saying that it is cosmetic and also is tear and wear before a year of purchase. I live alone and barely cook for this to happen. Im very disappointed with this product and the way that they handle and washes off the responsibility of the quality of their products. This is not an item that costs $100 or less we are speaking of an item that the price is over a $1,000. Unfortunately according to them there is nothing to be done.

I called Lowes after we had opened everything that was delivered with our new Samsung oven/range to say the griddle was missing. They said the griddle in their display was scratched and to call Samsung. I called Samsung and ended up texting our receipt to verify purchase. I was told it had gone through and the griddle would be delivered with 15 business days, this was on Aug. 26th. On Sept. 27th I called to find out why I hadnt received it yet and was apologized to and told there was no explanation as to why it didnt ship, but she assured me it would go out that day. Oct. 15th I call once again and now am told it does not come with a griddle, of course I asked why it was shown to come with the griddle at Lowes and both times I had called Samsung they never said it didnt. I asked to speak to a manager who on again repeated it didnt come with it. There was o explanation as to the fact 3 other people said it DID come with it. I was left with No. We are NOT going to honor this. My manual doesnt show it on that model, again no explanation as to why it was displayed with one and 2 previous Samsung representatives said it did come with it. All of my appliances were replaced with Samsung when we moved into our home 2 months ago, they dont really care, so Ill never buy another Samsung anything. For a part that probably didnt even cost that much, they didnt care that Ive just purchased these Samsung appliances: gas stove, electric microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, washer and dryer.

I had a 32-year old refrigerator and NEVER needed a repair or new part. I bought a Samsung only because I remodeled a small kitchen and needed a relatively small refrigerator for the intended space. I have owned it less than two years. Water accumulates under the drawers and in the drawers; I need to soak up the water almost daily or it will spill out onto the floor. Im as upset about this issue as Ive ever been about dealing with a manufacturer. I will never purchase a Samsung brand device or appliance. The unit is a RF266AWEP. It stopped cooling 7 days ago and my wife and I have been taken on a journey of phone calls and multiple transfers to Samsung executive support staff all resulting in a cowardly This service ticket has been cancelled email that came through last night. We paid for an Samsung authorized repair technician to troubleshooting the unit. I was hoping the issue would be something simple and they could fix it. The service tech stated that the issue was with the compressor and would cost around $800-1200 in labor to repair. But, great! That part (and labor to repair) is still under warranty so we call up Samsung and spend a total of 12 hours over the course of 3 days on various phone calls, speaking to support reps. There are 3 authorized Samsung service centers in our area. The one that came out, refuses to perform the repair work because they are overbooked. The second refuses to come out because another repair provider has already looked at the unit. The third does not have someone that can perform closed system compressor work. So in the end, no one will fix our Refrigerator and Samsung just closed the ticket and left me a voicemail stating the ticket is closed. The end. This whole process feels extremely shady. I think they are trying to force us to just give up and go buy a new fridge. Dont buy Samsung products. If you have, good luck with warranty repairs.

We purchased this Samsung smh1816s microwave in the fall of 2013. By December 2013 the microwave quit working and displayed the SE or 5E error code. Samsung repaired the unit under warranty only after 2 weeks (1 of which was Christmas week) with no microwave. Now (December of 2014) we are having the exact same issue, showing the exact same error code and Samsung customer service and executive customer service refuse to fix the microwave because it is out of warranty. I will NEVER recommend Samsung appliances to anyone else. I too would love to be part of a class action lawsuit filed against this company for selling knowingly defective equipment. My parents took delivery of a Samsung fridge model RS267LBWP on Sept.13, 2007. It worked for 32 months and then had no cooling problem. This problem has now gone on for 26 months and 7 service calls (at considerable expense) to the Samsung authorized repair center. Their Customer Service experience has been dreadfully poor as they are unresponsive to what is really a lemon. I have tried to escalate to the Voice of the Customer Manager who referred me to the Office of the President (yes, OOP - spell it backwards and thats exactly what it means). Take this notice and warn people to never buy a Samsung product. They do a great job of marketing and advertising but youre on your own if the product ever has a problem. Sony and Apple lead the way in terms of customer service. I will stick by those brands and the excellent service that they have provided in the past.Just an addendum: A family member bought a 52 Samsung LED TV 3 years ago and now the TV is developing dead pixels in the middle of the screen. This is obviously a Samsung problem but they have no solution to the problem and wont offer one other than a new $800 screen. The end of story - buy a Samsung product if you want but dont say you werent warned of the major customer service deficiencies this company exhibits.

We bought all Samsung appliances for our new home. The fridge lasted 2 years, needed a new motherboard and fan. Our washer is the exploding machine, on recall, check if you have one... Our dishwasher broke 5 times in two years, we had to pay servicemen 120 bucks each time to look, motherboard, seals, racks, etc. Everything replaced. Samsung service said initially they would replace machine before one year, but it dragged out longer, so they said, Too bad youre no longer under warranty. It was never fixed. A so-called Samsung guy showed up, said we should not use Rinse Aid, causes bubbles. I laughed at him. No one from Samsung had anything on file he came to our home. I met two people last week at Lowes looking for a dishwasher, they had the same machine I did. We laughed. Never again. Samsung dishwasher the worst ever! Stay away!

Purchased a Samsung from Home Depot April 14. I call Samsung about every four months for two issues. 1- the refrigerator is growling and making monster noises and 2 - another piece of the inside broke to pieces. Another shelf, drawer etc. cracked, broke or crumbled and has to be secured with flex tape or thrown in the garbage because it is unusable. See pictures. Its completely unbelievable!Hours on the phone with Home Depot (where we bought the additional warranty) and they send us to Samsung & Samsung sends us to National Factory Service for diagnostic and at a cost to us: $85. They heard. They came. They saw. They did nothing. Just head scratches and the words: PARTS OUT OF WARRANTY. When I call Samsung these days, they try to sell me an extended warranty for $129, which doesnt cover the parts. I mean have you ever? Its such a joke! My elderly mother bought a Samsung refrigerator, microwave and stove and they worked well for at least the first year. Since then, the handles on both the microwave and freezer door of the refrigerator have both broken off (my mother is in her 70s and not very strong) and it has cost her literally hundreds of dollars to have servicemen come and fix them because the warranty was no longer valid. She has spent more money trying to fix them than they were worth when she bought them!!! She is now having trouble with her stove, a stove which offers a divider so that one doesnt have to heat up the entire stove just a small portion of it (given that she is generally only cooking for herself). Well, guess what, the stove blew and the only way to get it to work is to remove the divider (the very reason she bought that stove) and Samsung will do nothing about it. These are products that should last AT LEAST ten years before any problems occur. Worst customer service, worst products. Worst of all, I recommended them to my elderly mother! So infuriated!

Bought the Samsung Waterwall Dishwasher in Black Stainless Steel in July. It was not delivered on time, Lowes claimed that Samsung sends it when they feel like it and doesnt adhere to the deadlines they themselves create. My refrigerator wasnt delivered until late August! We had our first dishwasher leak in August, had to replace the kitchen floor! The dishwasher has had many problems with cleaning, Ive been told its due to the distance between the washer and sink. So I basically use it as a sanitizer. Started leaking again, called Samsung, they sent the information to a contractor in town. Contractor ordered parts, 7-10 business days to get the part!!! Are you kidding me??? An emergency plumber could come take care of this today!!!Ive been on the phone with them for hours today, there is nothing they can do to speed up this process. The best they can do is turn my water off so it doesnt ruin my floor again! Thats wonderful with a house full of people and Thanksgiving at my house. I bought brand new so I didnt have to deal with this. I guess Samsung just doesnt mean quality anymore.

The replacement burner is no longer being made so the entire appliance (true convection, warming drawer costed $1800 dollars) is useless. The fact that Samsung is aware that burners crack over time, and they dont make them is absurd.
