I bought the Samsung slide in range because of its sleek look. However, the knobs and buttons on the front are extremely sensitive and the oven and range turned on accidentally all the time. One night while sleeping, the smoke detector went off. A towel lying on the range had caught fire and flames were everywhere. Trying to get the towel into the sink so my house didnt burn, I knocked a bottle off the counter that shattered the glass on the oven door. A technician for Samsung came to assess damage. He suggested I contact Samsung customer service. After multiple calls, I contacted them through their chat line. I was assured the situation would be taken care of, the existing ticket was escalated, and I was to be sent transcript of call. No transcript, nothing taken care of because product was not defective. The design certainly is defective and this product is not safe. Samsung is irresponsible. I had this stove 3 weeks.

We bought our counter depth refrigerator in May of 2015. After six months the ice maker stopped working. We had a Samsung service person come out to fix it. He informed us that he had numerous calls about this type of ice maker and it is one of the worse design he has seen. I have tried contacting Samsung many times about this ice maker for this model and never heard anything back. I wrote several more times and received nothing back. Now with all their phone issues I tried again and of course got a blah blah blah letter that was completely useless. I wrote back stating that Ive done everything on their list. This letter wants me to use their Samsung people to have it serviced. Ive already purchased Geek Squad from Best Buy extended warranty. Now the ice maker has completely stopped working. Also if anyone has suggestions on what to do about this issue please respond. If anyone is having similar problems could you please write about it here. I would like to get a list going so that as a group we may get something done to help all of us. Also if considering a Samsung appliance do not buy!!!

I purchased my Samsung refrigerator exactly 2 years ago. It has been broken (not cooling) for 3 weeks. At first I was told it was the computer board.. I ordered the part... waited a week... and it didnt fix it (& of course this part isnt covered so Im out the $150). Then I called them back and was told it was a relay switch. Another $50 & another week waiting on parts... and guess what?!?! It comes and didnt fix it! It has to be the compressor and Im told I will have to wait ANOTHER week for someone to come out to fix it. All of my food was ruined and I have 3 kids and we are presently living out of 1 small cooler! Very unacceptable if you ask me! I am getting rid of all Samsung devices and appliances that I have and moving on to better companies! Consumers beware!

My Samsung Fridge Model #RS265TDRS started acting up after about a one year
My Samsung Fridge Model #RS265TDRS started acting up after about a one year. I noticed our milk spoiled prematurely along with other items in the fridge. I remember hearing the fan in the fridge sound louder than usual just a couple of days prior to this. It appears the coils have froze up with ice causing the fan to ice up also stopping it from spinning causing a domino affect. I will have to locate the receipt and upload at a later time. I see this is a very very common problem with Samsung. This was not a cheap fridge and to be having this issue this early is ludicrous. I have the unit turned off and am allowing it to fully thaw before restarting it and seeing how long it lasts this time. Very Very angry & disappointed with Samsung.

Bought a microwave as part of a package at Home Depot. I never write reviews but frustration with the product and service has compelled me to warn others. Bought new in August of 18. The unit worked for a short period then started to shut off while heating of foods. Called customer service and they told us to unplug and wait 5 min. That happened often until we eventually called for a service call. We had to remove it from above stove as Samsung does not do this. Said it was a liability issue. Technician came out and attempted to fix. Did not have correct parts. Came out again and still did not have the correct parts. Waiting for 3rd appointment. Will see if this fixes problem. Major inconvenience to have to wait for service tech on 3 separate occasions. Quite unfair to consumers. I recommended they send out a new one after the 2nd visit. Would have been cheaper for Samsung. Home Depot recommended Samsung as a quality brand. I will never buy another Samsung appliance. Totally bad experience all around. Had I read the reviews before buying I would have bought another brand.

The Samsung dishwasher, while never doing a great job cleaning dishes (even when rinsed prior) at least continued with the cycle... except until after about a year. We bought a 5-year warranty on all our appliances, and the dishwasher is the main appliance where its been needed. But still only works for a month or two. IT IS A PIECE OF JUNK!!! Right now, we are trying to figure out how the remaining 3 years on our warranty can be prorated to exclude the dishwasher, and just go out and buy another dishwasher. This one is completely unreliable!!

Had the oven on 350 degrees and was ready to put my banana bread in the oven when I heard a loud hissing and then an even larger pop and then an even larger burst of flames. My husband cut the stove off from the electrical box and was able to put the fire out, but the electrical odor was sickening for days. I tried to call the repair number on my stove, but it had been disconnected. I have been cooking for 45 years and never had a stove to catch on fire. I am so disappointed in Samsung. I dont have the money to replace the stove, so I am using an electric skillet and crock pot to make our meals. What a pain. After reading many complaints about the other problems with this stove I am lucky my ovens glass didnt blow out while in the self cleaning mode or catch fire when we were not in the house or even worse the burner would not turn off.

I ordered Samsung Gas Range, Model NX58H9500WS/AA from Plessers on April 4th, 2016. In two months, the surface burn grates cracked. I filed a claim, to my dismay, the customer service is the worst ever I had dealt with. I was asked to send the pictures of the defect parts and the receipts. I sent what they asked for on June 20th. Until today, I did not hear a word. I just called and was told that the burner grates and the cap are not covered. The gas range is quite expensive. I cannot believe that the burn grates cracked in two months. The workmanship is extremely poor.

I bought a Samsung model RF217 fridge (no ice dispenser) in Aug 2012. A bit noisy but ok for about a year. Then late summer 2013, I see a puddle of H20 just outside the front door. It wasnt huge and I figured I had spilled it myself. Warranty expired next month. Problems got worse. Ice constantly on crisper bottoms. Massive icebergs in freezer compartment. More H20 puddles... more ice. Ensured nothing blocking air. Powered down to force reset. Oy vey. Theres clearly a design flaw as evidenced by all complaints. When is Samsung going to own up and restore its reputation?

The 2 stars are given because they are beautiful BUT we did a complete kitchen remodel in 2018 and nothing is holding up. We spent over $5000 on a SmartHub fridge that wont make ice properly and freezes up every month or so, $400 on a microwave that broke 5 months ago, over $5000 on a double oven that wont hold its temp properly and now we have to pay fo fix the washing machine that we spent almost $2000 on. We spent well over 15,000 to have matching smart appliances that well end up having to replace within the next few years. Nothing has connected properly to the smart hub. SAVE YOUR MONEY.

I have a Samsung Refrigerator, model number RS265TDRS, shortly before the warranty expired the coils started freezing with ice causing the unit not to cool. Since then, it has happened three more times. Each time, I have paid for services, repair and food replacement. Samsung customer service said there isn’t anything they can do but send another tech at my expense. Spoke to a representative who said Samsung couldn’t do anything for me since my warranty has expired. Since it is the same part that Samsung suffered a lawsuit in 2010, I strongly believe this issue has not been resolved in newer models either. My model was not part of the lawsuit. It’s time for a major recall!

Updated on 06/24/2020: I called a technician to look at the stove. He told me that the repair would be $325.00. That is more than half of what I paid for the stove. I strongly suggest that you leave this piece of work at the store. Calling their service department is close to useless. They are inefficient and the bottom line is that they do not care about their customers. You can tell how much they care when you read the responses that some of the other customers left. I am the one that reported that there was a gas leak from one of the valves.Original review: Please do not buy this stove. I have had the stove for less than 3 years. In that time 2 of the knobs on the stove have broken. I did glue one of them back together and I will probably get the other one done too. On Sunday the gas valves were working fine and on Monday morning one of the valves froze in the on position allowing gas to escape. This is also what caused the second knob to break. I did not notice that there was any gas still escaping, but when I checked again, I noticed that the burner had lit. This could have resulted in my dying if it would have happened at night and if I had gone to sleep. Better safe than sorry, leave this stove at the store. It should not even be there.

Samsung NE59K3310 Electric Range - Just bought it brand new from Lowes and the oven never gets up to the set temperature. When the beeps ring out that it is at set temp we only get 200 degrees and wait for over 15 minutes to get to 335 degrees. We bought an oven temperature gauge to test it. I followed the factory adjustment procedure and increased it by 15 degrees. Now the oven takes 30min to get to 350 degrees but drops to under 300 degrees within five minutes and doesnt come back up. Before I called to get it fixed I googled Samsung ovens and find so many defective units. Its mind boggling. I have decided to return it to Lowes and buy a GE, Whirlpool, Maytag or ANYTHING else. The other problem is the amount of pressure it takes to activate the controls. Being male with no fingernails makes it easier, but my darling has to use her knuckle to press to get enough pressure to activate the controls.

Our Samsung Refrigerator RF267ABWP is 4.5 years old. We paid over $1,800 for it new. The ice maker recently quit working and then the water dispenser line froze up. We had a Samsung authorized repairman come out to fix the problem. Cost $417.00. We found out that actually, the Main Board had failed and it had apparently caused the ice maker and water line problems. We then found out there is a service bulletin issued via Samsung regarding the Main Board that had to be replaced to fix the problems. Samsung is obviously aware of the problem or the service bulletin would not be out there. Called Samsung to discuss this issue to see if they might reimburse us for the cost of the defective Board, since their company is aware of the Board problem. Terrible experience and now I know I will never ever purchase another Samsung product. After talking with multiple representatives, being accidentally hung up on, trying to sell me an extended warranty and absolutely refusing to let me speak to anyone in charge, like a supervisor, Samsung just completely ignored what I was telling them and said since our warranty was over, no offer of resolution for me. Each time I asked to speak to someone in charge, I was told they were busy. Each time I asked if this busy person could please call me back when they got a chance, I was ignored. I could not get anyone at Samsung to listen to what I was saying, or anyone to acknowledge the problem I was presenting to them. I am really Sorry I bought this Samsung refrigerator and advise anyone in the market for a refrigerator to keep looking until they find one of another brand that they like.

The old saying that he/she cant even boil water is true for anyone with this range. Samsung NE594R0ABSR, SN J0ZI7DCF801481Z. Glass cracked while boiling on Fast Boil element. Then the fun started when trying to get warranty support from Lowes extended warranty plan. They had to send out tech to take pictures to determine if damage was caused by abuse. (over a week for this) Tech confirmed not from abuse or physical damage.Nearly four weeks after the event and several phone calls I finally achieved a resolution. On the final call I waited while they first called service tech, they said waiting on parts, no idea how long. Then Lowes called Samsung to get a ship date, and could not get an answer from SAMSUNG aka SamSUCKS in my view. So we agreed to a buyout and they are sending a check, so I am out only the cost of extended warranty and delivery, feel fortunate about this part. Now for the best part! They do not want the unit back, said to just throw it away! Done with SamSUCKS forever...

I bought a Samsung refrigerator back in Dec. 2009. For the last year it has been having issues with the freezer quitting and me having to hit reset and shake the tray. But it also has been getting louder and louder! It vibrates like crazy and now is making a squeaking vibrating noise! We have tried to figure it out, but nothing! I have never owned a new fridge and never had this kind of issues with old ones! I cant afford to call someone out and the noise is driving me nuts!! I purchased this microwave from Home Depot in Squamish BC, and have not stopped regretting it after numerous and non-stop issues. The power level button has never worked, the magnetron broke, the machine ran continuously without shutting off, it displayed multiple error codes. The sensor pad, key pad and magnetron (everything but the fan and light) were all replaced within the 1st year, costing much more than replacing it and the same issues are still happening now just outside of warranty. I was told I could purchase a extended warranty any time within the 1st year and was not able to after many attempts. After much complaining and pressure, Home Depot did advocate for me to get a new replacement unit but was not successful. This horrible experience could have been far less stressful if not for the inflexible and unreasonable policy of Samsung. The many agents I spoke with were polite and understanding but completely unable to provide reasonable customer service due to the strict, wasteful and outrageous Samsung repair rules policies and guidelines. I am awaiting to hear back from them after another phone call but based on the last year of my experience with this appliance, am not holding my breath. I hope this review saves someone else from this very frustrating experience. There are hundreds of videos on youtube and complaints highlighting the same issues we have had with our machine. These appliances seem to be consistent lemons.

Same issue as William. Purchased the RFG298HDRS refrigerator with bottom freezer drawer less than one year ago. Recently, noticed the inside of the freezer and all contents were covered with furry frost. Thought door was left open on accident. Noticed instead that the weatherstripping seal was no longer touching the refrigerator when drawer was closed. Took all contents from freezer. Drawer would still not close all the way. Turns out like William above, 1.5 inches thick-1 inch thick solid sheet of ice covering inside of drawer housing- floor of the freezer housing. Took upper freezer drawer out and was able to remove solid sheet of ice in two pieces from bottom of freezer. Now drawer closes fine. This is really an unfortunate situation. I think the water that leaked before we noticed the problem, has ruined the floor. (The flooring wasnt my choice, it was here when we bought the place. Not ideal for a kitchen but what can you do?) At any rate, drawer now easily opens and closes. I will watch for it to become more difficult as time goes on and will add emptying freezer and chipping off sheets of ice to my growing list of things I have to do to accommodate other peoples stupid design flaws.

RFG237AARS purchases 2/2013. I have a Samsung Range and Dishwasher and havent had any issues with those appliances, but this refrigerator is definitely a lemon. There are quite a few Youtubers out there showing the icing problem. They are chiseling ice blocks off the fridge. The fridge starts making an annoying sound which happens to be the twin cooling fan system hitting the ice. Thats not right. Its disappointing that Samsung is not addressing the issue. I have been able to care for mine periodically and unthaw it from time to time, but its definitely a feature Samsung isnt being upfront about. I’m sure at some point the fan will break because of the issue. I can only imagine what expenses they would try to push onto the consumer(me), and given the age of the refrigerator it isnt worth a $500 repair bill. It doesnt sound like people are having much luck with repair(s) either. Some report multiple repairs yet they still have a dud afterwards.

I bought this French door Samsung refrigerator cause the one that came with the house I bought had died. After looking at both Home Depot, H. H. Gregg, Lowe’s and Best Buy - I settled on this model RF268ABWP at Lowe’s in white. A little background - I went to culinary institute of America at Greystone and have been a professional chef for over 30 years - I know my way around a kitchen and appliances. This Samsung is the worst - there’s just not hardly any storage room in freezer and it continually ices up to the point the drawer/door is open and water/ ice melts on to the kitchen floor. The door at several places has started to rust, underneath the coolselect crisper drawer in the main body of fridge also continually ices up and the drawer starts to be pushed out. Have to thaw ice jam and remove ice sheet and then dry out fridge bottom and freezer drawer bottom. Complete pain in the **. Called Lowe’s customer service and nothing, also called Samsung and nothing no help. After reading and digging around on internet found that it’s a design flaw and company knew about it but refuses to fix. If I could fit on my boat it would be at the bottom of some lake. Complete junk and a waste of over 1400 bucks - my advice to anyone buying a new or used fridge - stay away from Samsung.

My Samsung refrigerator is just 1 year old and the technicians have visited almost every month due to one or the other problem. It started just over a month when I realized that any fruit or vegetable I kept outside the vegetable compartment had ice in it. Even the cooked vegetables if kept in the back of the shelf had ice in it. I kept on complaining this issue to Samsung Customer Service. Every time they will send a technician who will change the part and go. It was more of a pain as I couldnt use the fridge to full capacity. As instructed by technicians there were so many things which I shouldnt put in certain shelves or the size of boxes. I kept away leftovers or anything cooked/half cooked. I dont remember till date if I ever had to be so careful in using the refrigerator. I couldnt use half of the space in refrigerator fearing it will get spoiled. Not only that, my refrigerator stopped working completely 3 times in just a span of 1 year. Again they had to change the parts. I kept on calling them and asking them to change the refrigerator as it was giving me so many problems (not to forget just in 1 year- full warranty period) but they just turned deaf ear to my requests, even when I contacted their supervisor. Ill never ever recommend Samsung refrigerator to anyone after this experience. It looks like every time the warranty expires, Ill have to keep purchasing extended warranty and bear with the refrigerator. This Samsung product has been a big pain in the ass.

RF25HM FREEZER DOES NOT FREEZE! We purchased a Samsung in July 2015. In March of this year the drawer freezer stopped working, as did the ice maker. Set up an appointment for them to come out to diagnose the problem. The service tech was here yesterday and did an excellent job of troubleshooting the problem. He thought it would be a simple part replacement (circuit board). As it turned out, it was a sealed unit problem and it would be very expensive. The refrigerator still cools, just not the freezer. He explained that the freezer and refer share the same compressor, the part that operates the freezer was clogged or not functioning properly. I assume there is a valve of sorts that changes from refer to freezer when necessary. In essence, I am saying that Samsung is junk. DO NOT BUY! They should stick to cell phones and tablets. We have a Samsung Smart TV that we wish we hadnt purchased too! The frustrating part is that it was just over the warranty period. I am certain that I am not alone in this, when you pay over $2000 for a refrigerator it should last longer than just under 4 years!

We bought a Samsung refrigerator from Home Depot to replace an old refrigerator that had developed a Freon leak. When the new refrigerator was delivered and plugged it, it immediately tripped the GFI breaker. The Home Depot delivery crew said there must be a problem with the electrical circuit. Lamps and other test units plugged in to the outlet worked, but plugging in the refrigerator immediately tripped the circuit. We paid for an electrician to come out. He said that the circuit tested OK but recommended that we replace the GFI breaker. He installed a new GFI breaker and outlet for the refrigerator. The circuit tripped immediately when the refrigerator was plugged in. The electrician tested and diagnosed the problem as an internal short in the refrigerator. Electrician cost $296. We contacted Home Depot about the problem, and our call was routed to Samsung. After about 15 minutes answering questions with the Samsung representative, we were told that a local Samsung service contractor would contact us within 48 to 72 business hours. We received a call from Central Electronics Services saying that the soonest the could have a technician come out to diagnose the problem would be two weeks later - nothing could be done to advance the service schedule. We went in to Home Depot who expressed concern about the problem and said that it is not uncommon to experience problems in getting manufacturer warranty service from Samsung. We are still awaiting the Central Electronics/Samsung service technician to arrive. Hopefully the defective refrigerator will be replaced with a properly functioning unit without undue. In the interim, we warn others considering purchase of a Samsung major appliance about the poor service from Samsung. Buyer beware!

After only four years, the evaporator went out with this horrendous noise. Had tough time finding a Samsung repairman in my area. When I called their support line I was told to trouble shoot. In no way was this a trouble shooting matter. I was finally put in touch with a repairman who would actually work on the thing. The evaporator was changed out. The next week, the fan in the new evaporator went out. A whole new evaporator was ordered and put in. This took approximately three weeks. After another two weeks, the refrigerator was not cooling. The repairman came back and said that the unit was working, but the water line froze up. It was defrosted and the unit worked for about 2 weeks and the thing started heating up again. The temperature read 57 degrees. So, I was out a refrigerator for a total of 2 months, not counting the amount of food lost. I am joining a class action suit and getting rid of this piece of crap. Will NEVER recommend anything Samsung to anyone.

I purchased a NEW Samsung dishwasher DW8OJ 302045-AC from a clearance centre on July 4/15. I had it installed, July 12th. By July 25th, it would not operate. July 29th I reported it to the Samsung service centre. It was transferred to a local appliance centre who ordered parts, and Sept. 7th, two electronic panels were replaced. It created a new problem. Now Samsung wants me to disconnect it, and they will pick it up, and after 2-3 weeks refund my money. They acknowledge that their product is defective but refuse to replace it or compensate me for the installation or disconnection or inconvenience.By the time I receive my refund, I will have owned this inferior product for almost 4 months and used it only 5 times. Never buy a Samsung dishwasher - this is not an isolated incident. Read the other negative reviews. The Samsung service department is located in eastern Canada. You can e-mail but good luck reaching them in the afternoons. QUALITY CONTROL AND CUSTOMER SATISFACTION ARE NOT IMPORTANT TO SAMSUNG!

I preferred to select 0 stars but that is not an option. I purchased a bottom freezer fridge on 7/26/2007, Model RB195BSSW. For several days, the freezer isnt working properly and the fridge isnt cooling sufficiently. This morning, a Best Buy technician came out to troubleshoot and determined the circuit board needs replacing. I called Samsung since the fridge is less than 5 years old. No help, the person on the phone just kept telling me I could go through Best Buy to fix the issue or have Samsung come out at my additional expense. This is unacceptable for a product that is less than 5 years old. Ive purchased many Samsung products in the past - TV, cellphones and never (knock on wood) have had an issue. I am very disappointed in their product and lack of service.

Motor makes grinding noises. Samsung is aware that they have mfrd. a dud, to the extent that they have stopped making our model. Our unit is only two years old. Samsung fridge with the drink drawer is the smarter purchase I've made! I purchased the 'Samsung - 28.2 Cu. Ft. 4-Door French Door Apps Refrigerator with Thru-the-Door Ice and Water - Stainless steel -Model:RF28HMELBSR" 3 years ago and have never regretted it. The fridge is a powerhouse with cool features. The drink drawer is SO awesome! It keeps our soda and beer cool and out of the way! It has a mini-touchscreen that plays Pandora, shows our calendar, weather and news, plus has an app for drawing notes. The connection isn't always stable and the phone mirroring app never worked, but I don't care. It's really cool. Keeps the food fresh, the freezer is large and has a drawer for small items as well. The shelves are movable and it looks lovely. I totally recommend it!

Purchased a Samsung Model ME21H706MQS microwave oven and stove in October 2017. The microwave replaced a (what I thought was junk) Whirlpool microwave that was nine years old. The Samsung was higher above the stove and met all Samsung installation requirements. Thanksgiving Day comes, cooking for family and friends and the bottom of the microwave and door melts! We contacted Samsung many times, each time speaking to different people and on several occasions receiving different ticket numbers. All in all, they have a Samsung service company come to my home, but only after providing a very short notice and stating we must be home or the service will be void. Service rep comes and claims that its physical damage and is not covered by Samsung. Well hello! It melted! In short, customer service is absolutely terrible, Samsung does not stand behind their products, their follow-up via service reps is pressing and inconvenient. Terrible experience and would not recommend a Samsung product, nor will another ever enter my home.

We purchased a Samsung side by side refrigerator in 2013. In the summer of 2016, the fridge/freezer broke for the first time. Samsung sent out their qualified repair experts who attempted to fix the problem but in the process, caused further harm. They ended up attempting to fix the fridge 7 more times without success. They then determined that it was an entirely new issue requiring us to buy yet another part and pay for labor yet again. Contact with Samsung was unhelpful. Because we were out of the 1 year warranty time period, there was nothing they were willing to do. We were without a reliable refrigerator/freezer for more than 6 months. Many times we had to throw away all the food in the refrigerator and freezer. We interrupted our work and home-life schedule 8 times to be there for the repair service 4 hour window. We expected Samsung to recognize a faulty refrigerator and offer immediate compensation. This was a bad purchase-- we do not recommend Samsung to anyone. Their customer service is below any standard.

My oven (NE595ROABSR) quit heating and it took over an hour to come up to temp. Read all the reviews here and decided to check the broiler which I dont use much, that does not work either. I am waiting on repair man but after reading all the reviews I assume mine will go in JUNK Pile after diagnosis due to all that will have to be replaced. I dont believe in investing more money if it is expensive to repair. I do use the self clean oven and that may have burnt out the modules/sensors. I will NOT Buy another Samsung stove. My new Samsung refrigerator has the worse smell ever. It is so bad that it permeates the eggs, the carton on my yogurt, throughout the house every time we open the fridge door. We have emptied the fridge twice, thrown out perfectly good food, unopened containers in order to prove to the Samsung reps that it isnt bad food in the fridge. We have washed with baking soda and kept a box in the fridge. Samsung has changed out my ice machine only to find that it was cracked unbeknownst to me. They changed the rubber around the fridge doors (the gaskets) because this new fridge stopped closing correctly. They are changing out the hinges because they told me they are broken. The only thing they havent done is figured out where the smell is coming from. There are a number of consumer reports on this issue yet I am being told its the food in my fridge. At this point it is a health issue. And even though they gave me an extended warranty for the door issue they tell me I will be charged in the future. I will NEVER buy SAMSUNG again. I bought my washer and dryer at the same time as my fridge to upgrade my appliances and I have never been unhappier with a company. I dont believe they will resolve this based on the attitude and the complaints I have read. I want a replacement for this defective fridge. It is just a year old.

I wish that I had read all of the negatives reviews regarding Samsung refrigerators before I purchased one. I will have to admit that I have had mine 4 yrs. & today is the first repair job but it seems to be the same problem that everyone is complaining about. I have had water collecting in both veg/fruit drawers. After $250.00, I hope the problem has been corrected. The FF was freezing & leaking per info on repair ticket??? The repairman replaced the heat probe. He said that many of these have had to be replaced. The original ones were too short & they are being replaced with longer ones. This sounds as if there should have been a recall since he told me that he had replaced several with the newer type probe. I do not have any hope of anything being done by Samsung but it sounds as if they should have addressed this problem instead of denying that there is a problem.

We purchased a Samsung dishwasher on 10/30/15. It began failing and showing error codes three weeks after its one year warranty expired. Samsung sent techs out three times, twice with no charge and never fixed the fundamental problem; the machine stopped cleaning dishes. Samsung made exceptions and we did not pay a cent for the service visits, but it was utterly impossible to get the company to simply replace the washer as it was just not functioning any longer. Short fused customer service at best and obviously a product line that is inferior. A class action lawsuit ought to be initiated against the company for anyone who bought a dishwasher that has failed in the past 5 years. An abhorrent experience with a dishwasher that was less than 14 months old.

I bought a Samsung French Door Refrigerator in May of 2020 from Home Depot.
I bought a Samsung French Door Refrigerator in May of 2020 from Home Depot. It was delivered in June of 2020. Just over a year old and its unusable. Temp readings shown on refrigerator are not the actual inside temps. Temps read normal but actual temp inside is 48+ in fridge section and 20+F in freezer. I had to throw out all of my food. Samsung has no tech in my area to look at it. Because of this they refuse to do anything about it. This is a known defect with Samsung refrigerators. They are not honoring the implied warranty. Parts are still under warranty. So without looking at it they are just saying its out of warranty. How do they know what part is causing the issue? It cant be out of warranty if you dont even know the cause. The ice maker seems to be the biggest issue. So now I sit here 2 weeks later with no refrigerator and no option of getting one anytime soon.Prices have almost doubled since I purchased this appliance. Not sure how hard it would even be to even get one with the shortage thats going on. Samsung has done nothing but play games over the last 2 weeks. I was offered nothing. No tech, no refund, and was told to find someone myself to look at it. Yet, if its not a certified Samsung tech I void the parts of the warranty that are left. If they cant find one in my area, how can I?A voicemail left yesterday says theyre trying to get a hold of me to get someone here and today I have a text from the same guy saying theres nothing they can do. So I wonder if it had been within the first year and it malfunctioned, how would a tech have magically appeared? If there isnt one now there couldnt have been 4 months ago either. Theres a class action lawsuit against them at this time. A FB group of 84,000 people complaining. It has made the news in several states. I would say they have a serious problem and theyre in no hurry to do right by their customers.

A week ago, I used the broil setting on my newly installed Samsung Double Wall Oven. Within 5 minutes, the oven reported Overheating and a C-21 error. The oven was VERY hot. Of course, I immediately called support since the oven was under warranty and only a little more than a month old. It took a week to get service from Samsungs authorized repair team - Dish.com. I was dubious when the service person started looking up repair instructions on his phone. (Only one arrived for something I knew would require removing the 265 lb. oven) After reading the repair instructions for a while, he decided he would need help in removing the oven and called for a second person. After arrival, they proceeded to remove the oven. The stand they set up to support the oven wasnt secured and I watched as they dropped the oven on the floor and it proceeded to tip over and put multiple dents and scratches in the new Samsung refrigerator. So now I have a damaged refrigerator that up to this time was 100% scratch free. Once they replaced the control board (which is a part that shouldnt fail in less than a month), they started reinstallation. While reinstalling the doors that have to be removed to pull the unit out - they dropped the upper oven door. It landed on the latch of the lower oven bending the latch, so the oven wont close. Of course, in the process, the oven door finish was chipped. Not just scratched but chipped down to raw metal. This is all not to mention the dent in the floor and paint/drywall damage. So now going on the second week - I still have an unusable oven and the bonus of a damaged refrigerator. They tell me it will take 3 days to get someone out to look at the damage. No indication of when itll be made whole. As an architect and Director of Design with over 750 luxury apartment units on the drawing board right now - I wont be specifying Samsung appliances.

I have read other reviews and I am horrified to find that we are not alone in our experience. But what is even worse is that we bought our Samsung Range in late 2010 not because our 30 year old oven didnt work, but because I wanted a new sleek glass top. In Dec 2011, we also experienced the sizzling sound immediately followed by a loud POP and then black smoke and flames coming from behind the controls. After going the rounds with Samsung customer service etc, we finally got someone out to replace the motherboard at the cost of a service call for us because even though it had been just over a year, our product was out of warranty because it was manufactured 3 years prior to our purchase! Whatever! Then, to make matters worse, while baking a cake today (nearly 6 years later), DEJA VU!! It happened again. Exactly the same as the first time. So here I did waiting for a return phone call because I told Samsung I wanted them to get their dangerous piece of crap out of my house before it killed my family, of which Im certain its capable of doing. I will NEVER buy another Samsung appliance and not only will I not recommend them, Ill also try to convince anyone thats thinking of getting one, not to!

Eventually after my persistence and threats, Samsung arranged for me to return the refrigerator to the store I purchased it from. This happened nearly two weeks after we purchased another brand.Lastly, we were promised a maximum of $ 200.00 compensation for the nearly $ 600.00 of food that was spoiled. We were required to provide items and the price. We ended up emailing this information at least 7 times to their Executive Customers Service Department and have yet to receive reimbursement. I bought a Samsung range (model # FE R300SXIX AA) a little over 3 years ago. During the Easter weekend of 2018, I tried to bake a cake. The cake did not get done. The oven did not reach the correct temperature. I called Samsung and a technician was sent to my home within a few days. He could not find anything wrong with the oven. The visit cost $125. I tried to bake something else and it did not get done. I called Samsung again and another technician came to my home. He stated the oven temperature was 100 degrees off the target temperature. He replaced a part and tried the temperature reading again. The temperature was still off the target. The technician said the oven needed a part he did not have with him. Another appointment was made for him to return with the other part. The technician returned several days later with the other part. He replaced the part and said try the oven again because he thought it was repaired. This cost was another $175. After the technician left, I tried baking something again but it did not get done. I called Samsung again and the representative said there was nothing they could do because the warranty had expired. In order to get a partial refund for the range, the technician would have to state the oven was unfixable. I called the technicians office to make an appointment. An appointment was made for him to return a few days later. The technician called my home and stated to my husband he does not know the cause of the problem with the oven but he could return and try several things to repair it. Each thing he tried could cost up to $500 or more. Whats the use of a repair service when they are working in the blind and costing you a lot of money trying different things. I will never buy another Samsung electric range again. The Service and reliability are very unsatisfactory.

Samsung microwave, Model: SMH1816S purchased about three years from Best Buy based on their review. A few days ago, the microwave started making humming/buzzing sound even though it was not in use. I also noticed that it was heating up but nothing was showing on the panel so I immediately unplugged and the following day, I called Samsung customer service. The lady I talked to seemed very nice and stated that she is going to create a Liability ticket -which I thought it was kind of bizarre considering that I was just calling to diagnose the issue. She proceeded to tell me that she was referring my ticket to their executive support team (sounds fancy) and that someone will contact me within two hours. Days passed and several calls from me and still have not heard from them. I am thinking about starting a Dont Buy Samsung Crap Page on Facebook, maybe thatll get their attention.Incidentally, their junk of so called products is not limited to microwaves. I have a Samsung laptop (Model NP-NF310) that had the keyboard stopped working 4 months after purchasing it. I called Samsung about it and the guy told me that it was out of warranty and replacing the keyboard would have cost almost as much as the computer itself. I should have learned my lesson from that experience before buying the microwave, but the Best Buy salesman was very convincing (fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me). Samsung RF28HMEDBSR French Door Refrigerator - Bought ours Nov. 2014 and bought the exact same one for my mother-in-law about a month later. Our ice-maker started acting up and freezing almost a year to the day after purchasing. Then lo and behold, my mother-in-laws did the exact same thing about a month after ours started (about one year to the day for her too). I did the hairdryer defrosting trick about 5 times in a two month span and had had enough... Too much work for ice, seriously! So then I got the bright idea to shut the ice-making ability off and buy bagged ice from the store and put it in the dispenser bucket. Works fantastic, except when you pay $2300 for a fridge with an ice-maker, one shouldnt have to purchase ice!My mother-in-law has appliance guard from Black Hills and they came out and fixed it a couple months ago, and it froze over again (just received an email from her this morning). I feel terrible because we purchased this for her as a gift and bragged how much we loved it; that was before the problems. If anyone has a fix, please post the link here. Theres been lots of theories, but I dont want to call out a repairman to temporarily fix what I can do with a blow dryer... ugghhh. Why no class-action lawsuit yet? Its only a year warranty? $1000 for a stove and its only expected to last a year? This is clearly a manufacturer problem and the stove works but honestly Ill end up having migraines if I have to look at this flashing for another year or 2. Samsung says sorry, not sorry basically. I have a video if I can post it with this review.

Our 2 year old Samsung refrigerator went out a week ago. After spending several hours on chat with Samsung and 1-1/2 hours on hold I was given a service company in our Des Moines market of 500K people (they have only one). I called them and was told it would be 2 weeks before they can get there. So I called around Des Mioines to get someone to fix the unit and no one would service a Samsung. I called Lowes where I bought the unit and they were able to have someone out in two days. The evaporator had gone bad so it is under the 5 year warranty but we are now waiting 10 more days to get someone out to install it. Beware of Samsung customer service and response time when you consider a purchase.

We bought a Samsung refrigerator (model Number Rf263BEAESR/AA) at or about the 25th of November 2016. At about the two-year mark, the icemaker started having problems. It was not making ice. At first, if I chipped off the built-up ice, it would produce ice again (this was a constant battle). After a while, it stopped producing ice at all. We called Samsung, and they agreed to pay for the ice maker to be replaced, but not the service. I want to thank you for that! You (Samsung) did not tell us that the icemaker had been having problems across the board, nor did you mention the icemakers class-action suit. If Samsung knew that the ice maker was faulty, why didnt they pay for the service call in addition to replacing the icemaker?A little while ago, the refrigerator stopped working, pools of water running out of the fridge, and would not cool. The Freezer still works, though. Full disclosure we have had this refrigerator for about 3.75 years. Samsung said they would have a repairman come out. They could not reach a Samsung qualified repair specialist. When contact was made, we were informed that they would not make a service call to our house, too busy. Samsung encouraged us to find a maintenance specialist, and if the motor or the compressor were faulty, they would cover it.We contacted a local maintenance specialist who could work on Samsung refrigerators. He informed us he could fix it but that he was not going to guarantee the work. He also stated that chances are we would have to repair it soon after. Today we were forced to buy a new refrigerator. Samsung has had significant issues with their refrigerators. ** I would not buy a fridge made by Samsung.

I bought a Samsung four door refrigerator type back in June 2013 at Lowes. A year after, the ice maker started to slow down making cube ice and then completely stopped producing it for just approximately 1 year and 3 months, not to mention on the countless reset I have done just to have ice. It will cost me $200-$300 for the repair and replacement of the unit as what I have been informed by their customer service. I was even told that I should have taken the extended warranty ;-(.... June 2019, the unit completely shutdown as both fridge and freezer were not cooling off anymore. Just 6 years and there goes my hard earned money down the drain. I thought Samsung was supposed to be a good long term household appliance, but turned out to be a BIG disappointment. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND FOR YALL BUYING THIS SAMSUNG REFRIGERATOR!!!

Purchased Model #RF263BEAESG/AA not even a year ago and we will now have it repaired twice in just less than 2 months. It is the French door refrigerator black stainless steel and very nice looking. We purchased the entire kitchen package. First it stopped making ice and they had to come out and replace the ice maker. Now its leaking water from the TOP of the refrigerator on the ice maker side. Nice to come home and find water puddling on your hardwood floor and dripping down the entire side of your refrigerator. Never again, Samsung!!!! Never again!

My Samsung 24-inch dishwasher model DMT300RFS is less than three years old.
My Samsung 24-inch dishwasher model DMT300RFS is less than three years old. We have had problems with the dishes coming out of the dishwasher with ground-up food on them since day one. Recently we have been getting an error code for clogged drain also. I pulled the dishwasher into the middle of the kitchen floor, checked all plumbing and drain hose and found them clear. I ran the machine and found it was only discharging a small amount of water during the drain cycle. I removed the filter in the tub - clear. I removed the drain pump - clear. I checked the rubber check-valve upstream of the pump and found it cocked and stuck sideways. I freed it with my finger (it is in the molded plastic comprising the bottom of the tub). I reassembled the unit and operated it and it pumped like a banshee during the drain cycle. After running the machine a couple of times it started pumping only a trickle again. The check valve had become cocked and stuck again. What is happening is the check valve sticks open and when it hits the drain cycle, the drain pump pumps dirty water back into the dishwasher and only a trickle gets pumped to the sink drain. Dirty water stays in the tub and debris gets deposited back on the dishes during the rinse cycle. Because it takes so long to drain the tub, the machine thinks the drain is plugged and shuts down with a clogged drain issue. The part with the check valve in it is very expensive and (for me) would require a service technician to replace it, adding to the cost. To me, I will be better off replacing the unit. There are review after review on the internet complaining of these same problems (dirty dishes and error codes). It is my opinion that this problem is a design error as it is not possible to provide maintenance to the check valve. It is deep in the large plastic piece comprising the bottom of the tub.I hope this post helps others understand what is wrong with their machine.

I purchased my Samsung French door refrigerator, model RF26HF, December of 2014. From the start the fridge was louder than my old one. Shortly after that the ice machine was producing ice at a very slow rate and is currently making ice when it wants too. We have also encountered a flap misalignment on one of the French doors. Currently, August 20, 2016, I found a pool of water at the base of my fridge, underneath the food storage bins. When I removed the storage bins I discovered a thick piece of ice the width of the base of the fridge. I also saw water dripping from the twin cooling back panel as well as coming out from the base of the door. As figured I was over my one year warranty and Samsung needed to charge me to look at the problem.Samsung did try to blame it on a filter issue and then a humidity issue, which is neither the problem. Samsung left me with no resolution and stated a technician needed to be called in to determine the exact issue. I was not given a price because that couldnt be determined until a ticket was created. After hearing this ridiculous news, I have had enough with Samsung. After reading many many poor and similar issues with this specific refrigerator Samsung needs to acknowledge a true manufacturing problem thats affecting many families. At this point with everyone having the same issue there should be a recall in place. I will never buy a Samsung product ever again!

I purchased this dual oven convection range in July 2015. I have read the manual for tips on how to bake properly, no help. I attempted repositioning racks for regular baking, convection baking. Nothing mattered. Biscuits are burned on the bottom and white on top. Angel food cake was overdone on one side and not done on the other. Cakes are a flop. I love to bake and have baked successfully for fifty years. Called service; they are not knowledgeable of the product and outright lie. They rescheduled a visit by repair and they never showed up. I called back; same with complaints, no return visit. The only thing the repairman did was flash a beam to read the temperature at entry point. Said everything is ok; but Ill replace a board. This did absolutely nothing. Im back to a range top with no way to bake bread, cakes or pies. This range cost $1299.00. All I want is to be able to use the appliance without ruining everything I try to cook. I bought an oven thermometer to gauge temperature. Set on 350 degrees, the lower rack read 200 degrees. I would gladly return this range to purchase one that gets the job done. Is there any recourse other than suing Samsung? Im at my wits end, this purchase was no doubt the worst choice Ive made in my life.

My story is similar to Eli from Vancouver. Bought this d/w in 2014. Was good for 4 months--lights started blinking. Called Samsung, they said needed a new computer board which they did replace. That was good for another 4 months. Then the d/w wasnt drying and draining properly. I have read that book so many times I could take a test and get a 100%. It would be faster to wash the dishes by hand. Then there is the smell. I have to run baking soda and vinegar in it every two weeks to keep it under control. Now I have more flashing lights--I am done. I am taking my loss and buying a Bosch. This was the worst experience ever. Life is complicated in the 21st century. We depend on these luxuries to make things a little easier. I do not need this stupid stress. I bought the stove and refrigerator too. Stove so far okay. Refrigerator not great either but I wont go on about that right now. The dishwasher is a big BUST!!! Avoid the stress. I wish I had the time because judging from the amount of entries on this site, the dishwashers are a real mess and a class action suit would make sense. Besides, by time it would be settled, I would be dead.

I purchased this beautiful refrigerator RF4287HA. After 13 months, an error code showed up on the display. I called Samsung and they sent out a repair service. When this particular one was made, the assembly line forgot to put the protective plastic cover over one of the sensors which allowed the sensor to drop down and be cut off by the smaller plastic drawer in the freezer. Repairman said we should get our money back for the service repair since this was a defect when this one was made (even though it was about 5 weeks over the 1-year warranty).Basically, somebody did not do their job when our refrigerator was made. After 4 calls to Samsung, they told us to send a statement from the repairman and they would refund our service call fee. After 2 months, a message was left that it was not going to be refunded. I talked with the service rep and he said, Sorry, its not going to happen. I assured him that I would make sure everyone I come in contact with would know what kind of company Samsung is. Buyer beware.

My freezer was making a horrible sound and the refrigerator part is not cooling properly. I keep getting a run around and no one can give me a straight answer. It is horrible. I paid over a $1,000 for this not even a year ago. They are liars and rude and their customer service people dont know what the hell theyre doing. I hate them very BAD BAD BAD!!! Like many dissatisfied and cheated people... My parents range top cracked with a loud noise last night (while everyone was in another room of the house) breaking the stove top, literally just a month after the one year warranty expired. This is ridiculous! That a company can get away with this! Hundreds of dollars down the drain and now they are forced to purchase a new one!? Or perhaps replace the specific part for two hundred dollars and just hope it doesnt just keep happening? Which clearly it will with all of the people having similar experiences. The previous oven they had lasted my parents 20 years! Whats worse is that they purchased a matching Samsung washer, dryer, and microwave. Who knows when those are gonna break or blow up? As of right now I plan to contact an attorney, this is happening to way too many people for Samsung to not do a better job of helping. Why are these appliances still being sold to people??? We bought ours at Best Buy who of course are more than happy to take their money for another oven. My parents are older and they arent gonna get online and research this stuff. So sad, that companies can take advantage of people like this. It has to stop! It broke my heart to see my dad trying to figure out what went wrong with this damn thing last night.

After 2 years, we started having trouble with our Samsung double door refrigerator freezing up. We had a technician out to fix it and he replaced the whole back panel. It worked for a couple of months and then began to freeze up again. The same technician came out again and we were chatting about what was happening and he suddenly realized the problem was that when you close the front doors, the piece that seals between the doors was no longer turning properly in the slot to seal between the doors, but rather just staying straight ahead leaving an opening where warm air could enter and the fridge would work overtime. He said there is a piece that often doesnt get installed when the fridge is delivered that keeps this from happening and over time the left door had moved down slightly causing the piece to not turn correctly. It was a simple fix to the left door raising it slightly so that the doors are now sealing properly. So far the fridge seems to be working better. I hope this helps someone else having these issues.

Buyer beware!!! After owning this French door refrigerator for a little over a year, there started to be water buildup under pantry drawer. The water would then freeze and would prevent the drawer from opening. I began the weekly game of trying to thaw the ice in order to use the pantry drawer. The ice would come out in big sheets. Big enough that while pulling a chunk out of the fridge, a piece broke off and dented my appliance. And because there was nowhere for the water to go, it started seeping out onto my hardwood floors which caused them to hoover up. After about 3 months of this NONSENSE I had it serviced. The repairman had fixed NUMEROUS Samsung French door refrigerators with this same issue. SHAME ON YOU Samsung for allowing a fridge to be engineered this way... Thought you were smarter than that. Since that service call I have had to get my ice maker serviced 2 times, dishwasher serviced 2 times and washing machine 2 times. All Samsung appliances. Buyer beware!

I purchased the Samsung DMT 300 dishwasher in May, picked up the unit in June, and moved into the house in October. I spent three months trying to get service from Samsung, and then gave up in frustration. Each time we called, we wound up with someone who could only read possible solutions from a list, and gave suggestions such as pre-wash the dishes in the sink first, use high-efficiency laundry detergent, all the new high-efficient washers have this problem. We could never get to anyone who could authorize a service call, or even give us the name of the nearest authorized service company. Once the washer switched into extended warranty mode, we were given the name of a local (50 miles) service company who has offered to come and take a look, but are doubtful that they can help. I will never be buying Samsung in future and if the problem gets fixed, we will be selling it ASAP.

With 2 people, I hardly think that fridge gets much use but I do stock it with meats and other frozen food. I happen to notice my dog was licking something at the floor at the bottom of the fridge and that is when I noticed the leak was coming from the fridge. I open the freezer and refrigerator and everything is melting. I thought I maybe left the door ajar earlier ? NO, I did not! Who is going to pay for the spoilage now? I thought the oven/range would be really good because Samsung is well known brand- for keyboards. Oven light stopped working in less than a month, followed by the convection fan. Most recently I discovered the “Samsung” etched on the stove was actually stickers that wiped off one by one as I cleaned. Unless someone chose to make it right, which they wont, I would never buy a refrigerator ever again from Samsung. Absolutely, hands down, the worse decision I made. Spent nearly $2,000 and I would have been better off keeping my 20 year old Kenmore that ran very well but was outdated. Ive always used Samsung products, from TVs to phone, however this item rusted within a year (no, no harsh chemicals were ever used and water was quickly dried off). Fan motor went in 2 years. Fan motor was under warranty so no problem, however rusted doors were never covered as they were cosmetic. Samsungs products are purchased precisely for that reason - theyre beautiful. But trust me, they are garbage. Samsung didnt want to make it right - so no more TVs... I am an iPhone guy now... never again until they make it right.

I have had issues with my four-door refrigerator the last 6 weeks. We had noticed the frozen foods werent quite as frozen as they should be and then the ice maker stopped dumping ice. I had noticed previously that the ice in the holder always froze against the right-hand side of the bucket and would stop dispensing ice. I then noticed the ice maker would fill with water and would produce ice but never dumped it. I hit the reset button and it worked perfectly. It never would begin normal ice production on its own, and I had to continually hit the reset button for ice to be dumped ever two hours. Now, the freezer has become the fridge! No ice now and all of the food in that portion are thawed, just water in the ice tray that never freezes. I called the helpdesk (almost said it with a straight face) and they could do nothing except send a serviceman to repair the unit at my cost. I asked if they would guarantee their work and she said that they could only try and fix it. I told her to me try was not a guarantee of it being fixed. I asked if they would stand behind the work of their suggested contractors and she said again, they would try and fix it.I am anxiously awaiting a call from the repairman to see the cost of him driving to my house and the estimated charges he thinks he will have. I will ask him if HE stands behind his work since Samsung won’t. If it goes as it has with all of the other customers on this site, I will NOT be buying a new refrigerator from Samsung, and I will contact Lowe’s and tell them of my displeasure with one of their distributors.

Good thing there wasnt that many in there. Took them out soaked in bleach. I read my book it said run it once a week, I have been. Run the dishwasher with bleach, then run it again with dishwasher detergent, without dishes. I thought it wouldnt happen again but it did. So disappointed in this dishwasher. Called warranty dept. They sent out tech and he thawed out the underneath of the icemaker. Stated there was no replacement at the time. We could deal with it and hoped it fixed it. In 2018, it started the same thing, NO ICE and frozen up again. The warranty dept sent techs out on 3 different occasions that year, still NOT WORKING properly. The warranty dept said there was nothing else they could do and we would be getting a refund check in the mail.We received a check for $1400 from Samsung this year, called and asked why not a full refund, were told the techs that had been sent the 4 trips to REPAIR totaled the balance of the total cost of $2500 we originally paid for the refrigerator. This is a beautiful Black Stainless 4 door. I totally loved it from the start but I HATE IT NOW AND WILL NOT BE PURCHASING ANOTHER SAMSUNG ITEM! We bought our french door/bottom freezer refrigerator model # RF20HFENBC in January of 2016. Just after the year warranty, we noticed our produce bins filling with water and the back wall was freezing too. We called Samsung, were told to level the fridge and that would take care of the problem. Well, it was already level, but, hubby releveled it. Within 10 days, the bins were still filling with water! We have read enough online to know that this refrigerator design is a lemon and a defect, so when we called Samsung, they tried to tell us that our warranty was expired, so we would have to pay the $129 service call fee! No way! We told them about the numerous complaints online, and how its the same exact reason, so they need to repair this. They set us up with a local repair shop called Unique Repair, along with a ticket for the service call, and said they would make sure to cover the cost of the service call... We had to wait 2 days to then set up the appt for the service call... When we called Unique Repair, they had NO confirmation of Samsung paying the service call fee! Since this first phone call, we have called Samsung 4 more times. Each time, its all a new introduction. Have to explain the problem, they deny saying they would cover the service call fee. We ask for a Supervisor to get on the phone, and then, are put on hold, and the customer rep comes back and says they will once again, cover the service call expense...Along with this aggravation from Samsung, their one and only repair shop, Unique Repair in the Chicagoland area, is just as bad, if not worse as far as customer service. They never answer their phones, so we are playing phone tag with them for the past 3 weeks too... They also canceled the first ticket without even telling us, while were waiting to hear from them. When we called about this, they tried to blame us, saying they canceled it because they could not reach us to set up the appointment! We are now waiting for yet, a THIRD ticket to be issued, and have demanded another repair place, we will not work with Unique Repair. Last night, a Rep finally said they will call us in 2 days with another repair company, after arguing with the guy for about 20 minutes, and explaining just how bad this repair place is, and that there are a bunch of negative reviews for them online too. Today, we get a call from Unique Repair asking about the new, current ticket!!!Another call was made tonight because of this nonsense, and we were told to expect a call in 1-2 days from Samsung with a different repair place. We do not believe them, and now, are contacting ABT, who sold us this piece of garbage! In our research, we found there are at least 2100 complaints on this design of refrigerators, since 2011. Another post said Samsung was going to recall these models as of last month (January 2017). When we asked Samsung directly about this, they said if the service person finds a part that is in a recall, we will be advised... We believe they string customers along, and lie, and do not follow through on anything they say. They do not seem to care about consumer satisfaction and about substandard refrigerator designs either. Before buying this last January, we researched online and this brand was listed as a good brands... We are so disappointed and aggravated, and will never buy a Samsung product again. We would like to know if there is a class action lawsuit against them and these refrigerators too. We have not been able to use the produce bins, so our family of five has a cramped fridge, and its just not right. For anyone dealing with these issues, you cant be nice, or they will string you along. You need to be very stern and vent your anger and demand repairs or speak to their supervisor. **Also, make sure you keep a log of dates and times you call them, who you spoke to... VERY important if there is a class action lawsuit, etc!!! Post your problems on their facebook page too, but, I believe they have removed every complaint about their refrigerators, because I do not see ONE, only on their electronics. We know there are 2100 on this page alone... I have summarized what I could here. There are more irritating details I did not share because we have a long list of our dates, notes, peoples names we have spoken to.

Side by side fridge - Have had new over 2,000.00 fridge for 2 years. Bought at Lowes. Samsung has changed filter with no explanation. Have gone to Lowes for help but to no avail. Still trying to get help from someone to put this filter in that is suppose to fit. No trouble prior. They just changed it and will not help us. Do we have a chance of Samsung helping???
