We bought our Samsung refrigerator (#RS265TDRS/XAA) in June 2013. As soon as the warranty was out, we started having issues with the freezer and the ice bucket. The refrigerator started making noises. June 2015, our temperature sensor went bad and after wasting lots of hours online and on call we were able to get a Samsung representative to replace the bad sensor (paid $170). Dec. 2015, the temperature sensor gone bad again and after following the same process, we were told we have to pay for the labor and parts again. This is ridiculous! Why should the customer pay every 6 months for a bad repair rework? I guess they make more money on replacing bad quality parts than on selling a quality product. I canceled their service appointment and am hiring an independent repairman to do the repairs. I can at least get the work done at a good price and buy a good quality sensor (that would last more than 6 months). There is no reliability that Samsung offers to their customers after the product is sold. Reading all the other reviews, looks like these problems are just a beginning. The only Samsung products that we have are refrigerator and phones. We have had issues with our Samsung phones, but with this experience we promised ourselves not to purchase any Samsung merchandise in the future.

This has got to be the worse oven range I have ever had. It doesnt heat to the right temperature. Called service in and they replaced the circuit board to the stove and it still doesnt heat to the right temperature. The service guy says, Well, thats all we can do. So I guess I out of luck. Not much use in calling Samsung because they just give you the runaround. NEVER going to buy another Samsung product in my life, EVER the worse. Dont buy their products.

In late 2012, I upgraded my white GE kitchen appliances with stainless stee
In late 2012, I upgraded my white GE kitchen appliances with stainless steel appliances. So I purchased a Samsung stainless steel gas stove and microwave and a Whirlpool fridge from Lowes. The stove and fridge continues to operate smoothly. The microwave worked well the first year then begin to malfunction. The power would cut off in the middle of heating a meal. I would unplug the power cord then plug it back in the outlet after 10 secs to turn the power back on. I thought that it could be an issue with the power outlet or breaker. My electrician confirmed both sources were working properly. So this malfunction occurred often until recently the microwave goes out after 5 secs of running. Then I repeat the plugging and unplugging every 5 to 10 secs until the food warms up. This is frustrating because I always have to drag the tall bar stool and use it as a stepping stool to reach the power outlet inside the rear of the cabinet. Sometimes I get so fed up that I just use the oven or stove to heat up my food. I called Samsung service center today and the rep was very polite, took my model number and zip code and provided me the telephone number of the nearest service technician. I called the number and it was not in service. I called Samsung back and this time I reached a rep who was really nice but we struggled to understand each other because of our accents. I explained to him about my earlier call and that the telephone number wasnt in service. He checked and confirmed that was the only service tech listed in my area. I asked whats the alternative. I was advised that since my microwave was out of warranty that I would need to find my own repairer. I asked what is the lifespan of this model because Ive had it 3 yrs and its been malfunction most of the time. My last microwave came with the home in 2001 and still worked fine over 10 yrs later. This is unacceptable.

Samsung French Door Refrigerator - I would never purchase a Samsung fridge again as long as I live. I bought it in 2013 and so far... The ice maker has crapped out, the refrigerator defroster heater freezes up all the time and I have to thaw it out at least once a month and to ice the cake... The paint is peeling off the door handles. I know there is a class action lawsuit against Samsung and all the reviews say customer service is useless. I can certainly vouch for that!!! What does $1,800 get you from them? A boat anchor.

Paid $1600.00 for Samsung dishwasher. In the past 3.5 years we have had nothing but problems. We have spent a lot of money on repairs. The pump was replaced, the water wall was replaced along with several other problems. The last tech Samsung sent out was not properly schooled on the product and had to call another tech to guide him through the repair on the phone.

Ive had the Samsung refrigerator for 3 years. The first year, it was leaking water and that was repaired. The second year, it stopped cooling and the fans were replaced. The icemaker has not worked most of the time. And this year, it stopped cooling on July 12. They came and replaced the fans and the icemaker. During that repair, they found an internal Freon leak. It took another 2 weeks before that was repaired, but the refrigerator was still not cooling. This time, it was apparently the compressor. They replaced the compressor on Friday, August 30th. I woke up Saturday to a nice cold fridge. I was happy about that! However, Saturday night, the temp was reading 60 degrees in the fridge and 40 degrees in the freezer! Im so over this. I have not had a working refrigerator since July the 12th. It is September 2nd. Were using a mini-fridge and a deep freezer. They told me it has to have the same repair done 3 times and then break again a 4th time before it qualified for replacement under the lemon law. Im very frustrated and will NEVER buy another Samsung product.

This Samsung Range model (NE63T8711SG/AA) was purchased in February. Loaded with features as well as the oven compartment having an air fryer and dehydrator. 3 weeks after we purchased the $2000.00 range my wife decided to use the Air Fryer to make wings. The fan in the oven blew grease all over the oven coating the entire enamel surface with grease and the entire house was engulfed in smoke. Took us three days to clean off the caked on grease. Needless to say we will never use the Air Fry feature again. A few days later we tried to make a spaghetti dish. Not wanting to have caked on mess on the bottom we put aluminum in the oven. The oven melted the aluminum and is fused to the enamel surface of the oven. We have tried everything to get it off. Needless to say after calling Samsung, they will not help us with this issue at all. The Range is only 3 months old and the oven has been used a total of three times and they wont help us. Besides this problem we have found that the burner knobs are so touchy that barely bumping them or leaning against the oven slightly will turn the burners on. The burners protrude past the range. Very dangerous! Beware of this oven!

We recently purchased Samsung Dishwasher Model #DW80K5050 that seemed visually fine on delivery. When we attempted to install it a week later, there was internal damage not visible from the outside. Samsung sent a rep to confirm the DW had likely been dropped to cause multiple internal issues. When we shared this with Build.com, they said they had no responsibility since damage was not reported in their 24-48 hr window EVEN THOUGH DAMAGE WAS INTERNAL and COULD NOT BE DETECTED FROM THE OUTSIDE. And when we reached out to Samsung they said their warranty doesnt cover new appliances that had never operated (i.e. delivered broken). So we are stuck with a yet to be installed dishwasher for which we just ordered replacement parts at our expense. I would avoid buying from Build.com that was unwilling to correct this situation despite nearly $20,000 of appliance purchases from them the past year alone. And I would also avoid purchasing Samsung appliances based on their customer service, or lack thereof.

On May 12, 2016 my Samsung side-by-side refrigerator (model RSG257AAWP) that I purchased on April 14, 2012 stopped cooling. It has been an absolute nightmare trying to work with Samsung to have someone come out to diagnose the problem. It is now May 23, 2016 and I am still calling Samsung trying to find resolution. I was assigned to a repair service (Home Service Network) on May 14th. On May 16th they informed me that they dont have any technicians that could work on my refrigerator. I called Samsung back and my ticket was reassigned to another repair service (Priceless Appliance Services). I was told that companies are to respond in 1-2 business days. I waited. Nothing! I called Samsung again. My ticket was reassigned again (Mr. Appliance of Central Maryland) and again I did not receive a call from this service repair company. When I called Samsung once more, today May 23rd, my ticket is showing that its assigned to Priceless and not even the last company that I was given so it appears that my ticket was not even reassigned. Now Im starting to think that the Samsung warranty policy is a sham. If they refer a customers ticket to enough non-responsive repair companies, at some point, especially with such an essential appliance as a refrigerator, the customer will become totally frustrated and seek to resolve the issue with a non Samsung repair service. This deems your appliance out of warranty even if you only have someone diagnose but not fix the product that you have so desperately tried to seek help for from Samsung. BE AWARE! BE CAUTIOUS! Its probably best to NEVER, EVER purchase Samsung appliances. In the future, I will only purchase appliances made in the USA.

Purchased a Samsung French Door refrigerator from Lowes in 2012. The ice maker stopped working and since we had an extended warranty for two additional years, they sent out a technician. The technician removed the old ice maker and ordered a new one. When the new one came in, the technician shoved, pushed, and tried to force the replacement in place and after 30 minutes, decided it was not the right one so he was to order yet another one. The compressor died the next day and the technician stated that it was an issue that we had to deal with Lowe’s for. Of course, we really had to deal with Samsung. We jumped though all the hurdles and did not get full replacement value so we ordered an LG instead.

RF 268 Series Model RF268ABBP - We bought this refrigerator three years ago and now it is going to cost me a minimum of $400 to get repaired. I came home to a flood in the kitchen because the cheap plastic piece going into the water filter cracked. Next the temperature and water control panel goes out and the freezer is freezing up. It sounds like there should be a Class Action Lawsuit against Samsung regarding these refrigerators. Also, I called Samsung and they were going to have a local repair company call but they never did. I finally went to Lowes and got someone to come out. DO NOT BUY SAMSUNG!!

After 18 months and final payment to Best Buy for my Samsung refrigerator, my ice maker stopped working. The fridge has consistently been leaking water at the left corner of the fridge and the front panel under the ice dispenser and inside the door. Called Samsung to complain, they say its out of warranty and will not pay for the repair. Did some research and discovered there are thousands of people on the web and facebook at SAMSUNG REFRIGERATOR RECALL U.S.A. NOW making the same complaints. There are also lots of people posting photos of reimbursement checks for Samsung products including my fridge but not after months of hassle. Now, Ill be joining the many that have filed complaints with the BBB of New Jersey.

We purchased our Samsung refrigerator in August/September of 2013. Within 2 months, we heard a loud buzzing noise. We did not initially know that it was coming from the fridge so we took apart our house trying to figure out where the noise was coming from and figured out that indeed, it was coming from our new refrigerator. We called for service, which required me to miss work to wait for the repair. The fan was full of ice in the back and the technician had to order some part to replace which did not come until the following week. I had to miss work (again) to get the part installed back in and thought that everything was fine. Nope! Two months later, the noise is back and louder this time. We called for service again and this time around, the ice situation is horrible in the back of the refrigerator. At this point, I am positive that there is a defect with this product so I requested for an exchange. The rep on the phone keeps telling me that it is their policy to have the technician out there a certain number of times before the exchange can take place. I can generally understand that but if a product had a serious performance issue within the first two months of use and has the same issue despite the fix, shouldnt Samsung stand by their products and remedy the situation for the customers? What about all the food wasted and the time wasted off work for someone to sit at home trying to wait for a service man to come for a new fridge? There is definitely a temperature issue with the fridge every time the ice forms in the back. Is Samsung going to take responsibility if anyone in my family gets food poisoning from eating food that was not properly refrigerated? This is just not acceptable in my books and I will probably never purchase or recommend a Samsung fridge again. They do not stand behind their products at all. If you sell a lemon, there is a need to refund or exchange the product within a certain time period as a consumer should not be hassled for your product defects.

Right after the Samsung gas range was installed we used it and it did not boil water with the largest burner. From November 2015 to March 2016 we have had 4 service calls for the same problem. A letter to Samsung went unanswered. They did send a warranty extension e-mail since I received as they said such great service for my problem. I sent it back asking where the great service was and no answer. We still have the same problem. As of now my gas grill burner boils water better than this Samsung range. Will not buy any Samsung product again. Should have gotten our first choice of GE but liked the looks of the Samsung range a little better. So much for appearances over quality. How many times does Samsung have to come to fix a problem before they decide to fix it right? Waste of money!

This whole ordeal started on Dec. 15th. The water dispenser on my 4,000 dollar, 4 month old refrigerator stuck and flooded my kitchen. I have hardwood floors so damage was done. I called service that night and was told someone would call me in 48 hours. So, I waited... no call. I called again and finally 2 weeks later service came out. Wrong part ordered so they ordered a new one. The next day Dani from Customer Service called and said that the repair was taking too long and offered me a new fridge and said someone would call me to get the order going. 3 days pass... no call. I finally get a hold of a very unpleasant customer service manager named Rosa that promised service would be out. It is now the 18th of January. NO CALL IN OVER A WEEK. NO SERVICE HAS BEEN OUT. All this info has been sent to the BBB last week. And this will all be posted on every website I can find. I dont understand why this is so difficult. Isnt this your job? EVERYDAY THAT PASSES MORE DAMAGE IS BEING DONE TO MY FLOOR. IT IS NOW LEAKING DOWN INTO THE BASEMENT. You would think that getting the adjuster and repair would be important to you. Also, every time I call they say they left a message. That is false. I have voice mail. Never a message!!!

I bought this expensive Samsung 4 door refrigerator from Sears in 2012. The ice maker is the worse. Within 3 month it stopped making ice. Sears came to repair. This replaced the ice maker. It started working 2 month later stopped. Replaced all mechanism starts working again. 8 months later stopped again, replaced again 3rd time. 1 year later out of warranty. Called Samsung. They refused to do anything about it. Called local appliance dealer, had it replaced $595. Broke again within in 2 months. I looked up this refrigerator and not only this one, but other Samsung units have had many problems with the ice maker and Samsung is doing nothing about it. We bought a Samsung RT72SBSM about 2 years ago and it just stopped cooling one day. After checking, the compressor is found busted and they would charge me USD150 for labor and for fixing the gas, which are not under warranty. When I queried Samsung about why their fridge died only after 2 years, instead of apologizing, the Samsung person retorted, we dont know the lifetime of our fridges. They should know. Its their product. They should have some sort of indication that this is a faulty fridge and they are doing what they can to rectify it. Saying they dont know simply takes them away from being accountable to make good products. Samsung is a horrible horrible brand, with absolutely, incredibly lousy customer service. Samsung Microwave Model SMH9207ST - I purchased the microwave in October of
Samsung Microwave Model SMH9207ST - I purchased the microwave in October of 2011 from Lowes as part of our total kitchen remodeling. Lowes installed the microwave but I was not satisfied with the looks of it as it there were several paint repairs on the inside white frame. I went to the store and explained my concern to the manager. He sent out a new microwave and prior to installing it, I noticed that there were also visible white paint repairs but not as many as the first one. We agreed to accept the replacement. Post installation, my husband and I did extensive traveling. Given the time we were gone, I would say the microwave was used approximately 1 year. Yesterday, the microwave quit working. Approximately 2 hours later, I checked it again only to notice that it was very, very warm. I unplugged it and then plugged it in again. The lights went back on the panel but it was very noisy. Within 15 seconds, all lights went off again and it did not work again. I opened the door and realized that the glass plate was very hot. We thankfully took an extended warranty on all our new kitchen appliances but I can honestly say that after reading all the negative reviews on this model, I do not feel safe with it. I will definitely unplug it when we leave our residence for extended lengths of time. I would not recommend this model to anyone. Too bad there isnt a Lemon Law for appliances like there is for autos.

The refrigerator was purchased 8 years ago. It was replacing a 30 year old General Electric that still worked but was not “energy” efficient. Shortly after the warrant (1 year) ended, the vegetable and fruit bins froze up. The temperature kept warming and all the food in the freezer and refrigerator had to be thrown away. The worth was about $200. I called for repairs and was told I had to use specific Samsung warranty repairman. The repairs were not covered but some of the parts were. Since then, I have had to have it repaired at least 5 times and have lost 100s of dollars in food. I finally purchased a small GE for the garage to move the food when the fridge shows signs of failing. I have written, emailed and called Samsung several times and have not received any satisfaction! I will never buy a Samsung appliance again. They need to stick to TVs.

I purchased this beautiful refrigerator RF4287HA. After 13 months, an error code showed up on the display. I called Samsung and they sent out a repair service. When this particular one was made, the assembly line forgot to put the protective plastic cover over one of the sensors which allowed the sensor to drop down and be cut off by the smaller plastic drawer in the freezer. Repairman said we should get our money back for the service repair since this was a defect when this one was made (even though it was about 5 weeks over the 1-year warranty).Basically, somebody did not do their job when our refrigerator was made. After 4 calls to Samsung, they told us to send a statement from the repairman and they would refund our service call fee. After 2 months, a message was left that it was not going to be refunded. I talked with the service rep and he said, Sorry, its not going to happen. I assured him that I would make sure everyone I come in contact with would know what kind of company Samsung is. I have a 9 year old two door fridge, which when working is a great design. I find it hard to get a repair person to resolve a long-term noise in the fan. I now resort to using my hair-dryer blowing into the vents and this seems to de-ice the fan and hence the noise abates for a few months. I bought the Samsung dual flex because of the flex zones which seemed amazing. Well, let me tell you, the thing is very difficult to use. No more just turning the knob and having the oven on. Everything requires several steps which is frustrating when you are busy cooking and dont have a whole minute to program the oven. It seems petty until you are doing it.Worse is the lack of quality. My previous range was a 30 year old JennAir. A burner went out and the repair was $120. I should have repaired it. This Samsung is junk. We only cook 1-2 times per week with the stove (have an electric pressure cooker and infrawave we use a lot) and my son was trying to turn on the burner and it made a loud pop, the lights in the house flickered and it tripped the 50 amp breaker! I called Samsung right away. Their service center is in Compton, that Compton, and their service people treat you like you would expect to be treated in Compton based on the citys reputation. The guy told me to unplug the stove. I told him it would be a minute because I put a silicone bead between the stove and the counter so spills dont get under my stove and I would need a minute to razor that before moving the stove. The guy told me THAT was what broke the stove. I wish I was smart enough to have come up with sealing the stove and counter to stop the mess but a professional service person did that at my old house and it was amazing. And I have done it since because counter spills running between the stove and counter are gross. And there is no way a paper thin silicone bead on the outside edge of the stove and counter top seam would cause the stove to make a loud pop and then trip a breaker.A few days later someone calls me to come look at it. I thought I was covered at least under parts warranty. Nope! Nothing. $150 for someone to show up and then whatever the parts cost. The fact that there is only a 1 year warranty on this item should be a big red flag. This is the second Samsung appliance to let me down. I bought a Samsung fridge a while back and it was DOA. I ended up with a Whirlpool I hate because I let them haul the old fridge away and then had a fridge full of food spoiling and they offered to deliver the Whirlpool floor model in the next half hour. So 2 for 2 on the Samsungs being crap. And their service is horrible!! Im almost wondering if they are not using prison slave labor. When they call you it is a Compton number they call from. The way their customer service people talk to you and dont care at all prison labor would make sense.

New Microwave Caught Fire - Purchased Samsung Microwave Model Number ME18H704SFG on 07-03-2016 from HHgregg. They delivered the microwave on Saturday 07-09-2016. Used the microwave Saturday and Sunday. Monday morning 07-11-2016 my wife screamed FIRE so I ran to the kitchen where the microwave door was open and a flame about 4-5 inches long was jetting out from the side of the interior of the microwave. When I say jetting it was like a torch so I got the Fire Extinguisher and put it out then unplugged it. The inside wall was still hot to the touch for some time so I removed it from above the Gas Range and Sat it outside for the day. Now there is a big hole in the side wall of the microwave.I called HHgregg and they told me to call Samsung. I called 800 726-7864, spoke to a lady there who gave me a transaction number and said a Product Specialist would call me back within 4 hours. Said I needed to call back with the serial number or I would be charged a service call fee. That return call did not happen within 4 hours so I called again and spoke to another lady who gave me a claim ticket and a service ticket and said the claim folks would call me within 24 hours and the service folks would call back the same day. I did receive a text from service saying The repair facility has accepted your repair. ASC Phone 201-672-9502 ASC will contact you within 2 business days. Then received a call from service around 5:34 who left a message which I returned the call. The lady also needed the serial number which I provided the next day and they have scheduled a service person to come out... today is the 12 the service person will come on the 19 between 10-2. I told her I did not want them to attempt to repair this unit and give it back to me. She said the service person would not take the unit but would take photos and send to Samsung where they would determine if it could be repaired. I told her I would not let that unit back into my home. She said if you refuse the service then you will be left with a broken microwave. This is where I have left this issue. We will see what happens when the service person comes out.

My icemaker failed a month ago and I have only encountered more issues. After the first few service calls, the repair center fixed the icemaker; however, now the fridge compartment freezes everything. Samsung now wants a sixth service appointment to look into the issue deeper. Samsung warranty support has been a nightmare and I have made no progress with the Executive Relations Team. Additionally, I completed an online forum regarding my experience and nobody has followed up. I cannot afford to take any additional time off work to be present for service calls and need a working fridge. The lack of follow-up and ownership of my issue is concerning. I am very quickly becoming a detractor and am having difficulty finding anything good to say in my product reviews.

We purchased a Samsung side by side model RS25J5822DSG from Home Depot. We had it delivered and when it was delivered they tried to put the bins in the refrigerator door. They would not fit. Home Depot would not do a thing about it. They told us to call Samsung. I called their customer service and have had nothing but a run around on the unit. They sent us new bins and of course they would not work because the mold in the door is defective. I am requesting a brand new refrigerator and still no response. I will keep on this. It is ** to see that even the stores that sell them will not back the product.

Bought a Samsung Refrigerator 6 years ago. We have had nothing but problems with it and to top it off Samsung Customer Service is a joke. I have spent my day trying to get someone to just help me get in touch with a repairman. 1st call to Samsung today tried to convince me that I had set the refrigerator to the wrong setting (didnt touch it). 2nd call to Samsung gave me a number to call to set up a time for a repairman to come. I was told it would be quicker if I made my own appointment. I called the number that I was given, waited on the line for 25 minutes, and the first question I was asked was what state I was in. (That should have been a red flag.) The person on the other end asked for serial number and everything else you can imagine about my refrigerator. After I gave her my zip code she proceeded to tell me that Samsung doesnt service in my area. Really? Well they sure sell in my area. Tonight my husband pulled the refrigerator out of the wall and recycled the power. All of a sudden water was all over the place. We have unloaded the freezer and refrigerator and I will be buying another tomorrow. I had this 6 year old refrigerator serviced last year with a bill of over $300.00. It was horrible trying to get someone to work on it. I will not EVER buy another Samsung product. I have two friends remodeling their kitchens and believe me I am spreading the word. Samsung is a poor product all the way around and so is their customer service. I cant get this product out of my house quick enough. Samsung, thanks for nothing!!!

Samsung french door RFG298 - I have the same problems and even more. Fridge will be 4 years old next month. It stopped working entirely except for 2 flashing LED lights at water dispenser. No other lights work, no compressor, no NOTHING. The bottom ice maker broke within the first couple of months. Just spent $70 to replace door storage bins and more are cracked. There are stains in between the glass shelves and rubber I cant get out, including stains on the flap of the deli drawer in between the plastic that cant be reached. Had an AHA moment when I read another review saying their fridge had dings all over it as our fridge also has dings I cant imagine why and how that happened. SAMSUNG is not responding to my request for technical help or a technician which I cant find in my areas. Paid $2,500 and purchased at Lowe’s... Its not even 4 years old and USELESS.

When I called they informed me that they dont replace personally damaged items. If using the shelves may lead to personally damaging them, we shouldnt use them. I now have to pay for new shelves, that most likely will crack again. Please think very hard about whether you want to purchase this item.

Purchased a home and did a remodel and purchased a Samsung appliance package from Home Depot. The dishwasher has been a NIGHTMARE!!! I am the only one in the home so I don’t run it every day but once I did begin to use it and not even 2 months later had to have the pump replaced. One month later YET another repair! Spoke to a representative who said they would refund my money and she would send me an email with how to get this. Received the email and provided them with everything they wanted. Waited a month and No refund check. Called NUMEROUS time to take 10 minutes of explaining to have them transfer me to claims where THEY DO NOT ANSWER AND YOURE ON HOLD FOREVER!!!I called numerous days in a row and have sent emails every day with no response!!! HORRIBLE!!! So I called and explained to Home Depot and they said there is nothing they can do! It is absolutely ridiculous!!! Pay over 400$ for something and it is not overused and you can’t even use it!!! For Home Depot to support this manufacturer is very sad!!! Will NEVER buy from Home Depot again! Nor will I tell anyone to purchase Samsung!!

Four years ago we built a new home and bought all Samsung appliances. Our side-by-side refrigerator model #RS265TDBP has had repeated problems with ice building up on the coils behind the panel in back of the fridge. You can tell its happening because the evaporator fan motor makes rhythmic scraping sounds as it tries to spin to circulate the air. It does this for several days before it quits working and then the fridge stops cooling. You have to remove all the food, unplug the fridge, remove all the shelves, remove the back panel, disconnect the lights, and change out the evaporator fan motor (over $50 for the part plus significant amount of labor). Then you have to wait for many hours for all of the ice to melt, or try to use a hair dryer to melt it more quickly without damaging anything else. It has failed three times in the last 2.5 years and Im absolutely sick of it. Its a defective design and Samsung clearly has no interest in fixing it.

My Samsung side-by-side fridge is making a loud noise every 3-6 months. I have to unplug it, put food in coolers and defrost it to make it stop. Samsung has sent a repairman who says its my fault for keeping the freezer door open too much. This is my 3rd side-by-side fridge in my lifetime... The 2 other ones were Electrolux. Had them for approximately 10 years each with no problems. Samsung gave me problems after 3 months. I have noticed that my meter is going very fast when the noise is ongoing. Today I had it and order a new fridge. I will NEVER buy another Samsung product again!

We purchased a Samsung Refrigerator that failed to cool less than 1 year after the purchase date. After calling Samsung customer service it took three repair companies to finally tell us that they could not work on the product because of a lack of training on closed system refrigerators; these vendors were provided by Samsung. After numerous phone calls to the Samsung Customer Service Department, I realized that nearly each time I was talking to representatives in several different locations to include the Philippines, the Virgin Islands and South Carolina. Eventually after my persistence and threats, Samsung arranged for me to return the refrigerator to the store I purchased it from. This happened nearly two weeks after we purchased another brand.Lastly, we were promised a maximum of $ 200.00 compensation for the nearly $ 600.00 of food that was spoiled. We were required to provide items and the price. We ended up emailing this information at least 7 times to their Executive Customers Service Department and have yet to receive reimbursement. It has been 64 days since we the unit became inoperable and numerous promises were made! To date, we have not been reimbursed!! We will NEVER buy or recommend SAMSUNG again!!!

Only once covered under warranty. First 6 months gas oven. ALL top burn covers and grates discolored covered under warranty. NOW to microwave. The damn clock/timer constantly beeps and goes to #7. I mean every 1,2,3 minutes tops. Called Samsung. Knew all about problems and tried to sell me a $165 microwave door to fix problem plus $65 install. They would NOT allow me to install because it would void warranty. I questioned. What warranty? First door was not being covered. No answer to that. Now just waiting for dishwasher to go. February 24, 2016 - Purchased Samsung Microwave OTR Oven ME18H704SF. March 9, 2016 (Approx) Hung on wall and attached Microwave to newly install Kitchen Cabinet. March 15, 2016 - We were using the microwave for the 3rd time when it malfunctioned. The Internal electrical magnetron mechanism behind display overheated and cut a hole on the right side of the cooking box and started a fire. At the time this happened my wife was cooking a package of microwaveable veggies on the turntable. Cooking instructions were to microwave for 5 minutes on High. When there was about 1 minute left in the cycle my wife noticed a small fire on the inside of the unit. She opened the door and put out the fire. I opened the cabinet above the microwave and unplugged the unit from the wall.March 15, 2016 - Sent email to Samsung through their website with my info, Microwave info and the information above and below: We can no longer trust this unit in our home. Please send appropriate individual to pick up unit. Please send check for purchase price of unit in the amount of $263.74 to the following address. (Home). The Unit can also be picked up at the same address.March 18, 2016 4:50 PM. We received voicemail from Samsung-Canada notifying me that a serviceman will be out to fix Microwave on March 23, 2016. March 18, 2016 6:30 PM. I called Samsung-Canada and told them again that we do not want a service call. They should pick up unit and refund the purchase price to us. [Transferred to 2nd Customer Service individual, Carlton] I told him again that we do not want a service call. Samsung should pick up unit and refund the purchase price to us. He said he noted that in my report and someone will call me on the weekend or Monday 3/21/2016. March 20, 2016 12:00 PM. Received call from Samsung-Canada [Andre] from Executive Customer Relations Department I told him again that this unit is a Out-of-Box failure. We do not want it repaired. We will no longer have a microwave in our house. Pick up unit and refund purchased price. Andre said a serviceman needs to evaluate unit and determine that if it is repairable or defective. I told him, It started a fire, its defective. March 22, 2016 - Samsung sent a Technician from Local Appliance Service to evaluated. He said it was the magnetron and the unit should be junked. Unit was taken to shop for complete review & evaluation. April 4, 2016 - Called Local Appliance Service to request status on Microwave. Lady said she believed it was finished and that she would call me back. Received call back and set up delivery for Wednesday April 6, 2016. (Samsung decided to repair unit).April 4, 2016 - Received call from Samsung-Los Angeles 310-669-4261, she asked about a schedule change to Saturday. I told her that Local Appliance Service called me with a delivery date and I changed it from Tuesday to Wednesday. Then I told her we would not be using the Microwave Oven and I would search out other avenues for getting rid of this defective product. (She did not like what I was telling her and quickly ended the call.) April 6, 2016 - Local Appliance Service delivered Samsung Microwave with new Magnetron, Controller & Capacitor. Magnetron overheated and turned into an out-of-control Laser Gun packing 3,000-5,000 VDC with each Punch. CONCLUSION OF MY ESSAY: My wife and I never want this unit to be installed into any home. Reason being I know that the replacement parts were the same part numbers as the parts in the original unit and have an excellent chance of repeating history.

We constructed a new home and purchased a full set of appliances made by Samsung and have had major regret with the decision. We purchased extended warranty and have had to use the services on most of them. We have now had to change to a different manufacturer of dishwasher that the warranty has just ended. Now the fridge door needs to be replaced as the lower shelf mount has broken and the mount is part of the entire door which has all the electronics integrated. The shelf above that one is broken as well. We just called Samsung support to ask for support prior to filing a complaint and they offer none, only a toll free number for parts. As a result of our experience we will never purchase another Samsung product. Completely dissatisfied.

Had an error code SE on my (almost) 4 year old microwave. After reading about all the issues about this with other Samsung microwave that the code pertains to a bad touch pad, I decided to contact Samsung and see if they take responsibility for this. I contacted Samsung this morning and after less than 10 mins, an appointment was made to have a technician come out to my home and replace the pad under Samsung extended warranty on the pad. The only thing Samsung noted to me is that if its not the pad, I would have to pay for the cost of any repairs. I keep my fingers crossed that an honest technician will come out to do this repair. So, bottom line is that Samsung realizes that there is a problem with these pads with this SE error code and extended the warranty to have them replaced.

I purchased Samsung Microwave SMH9207ST which comes with a 1 year warranty.
I purchased Samsung Microwave SMH9207ST which comes with a 1 year warranty. The microwave was manufactured in February 2011, very moderately used, and owned for approximately 2.5 years. At 15 months, an internal piece of the handle broke, not allowing the door to close. I contacted Samsung who referred me to a repairman. For a repairman to assess the problem, order the parts needed, and install would have cost over $125 plus having to take time off of work without pay. I was able to quickly assess the problem, order 2 plastic interior door pieces (one extra) for $12 with shipping and reassemble the microwave in about 3 minutes. After 2.5 years the microwave completely stopped while cooking. I am very extremely disappointed in the quality of this product. I also own a Samsung Jr, manufactured in 1999, which has been used far more, even brought tent-camping and trips, and it is still working fine. I am now very reluctant to purchase a Samsung product. I plan to take this microwave apart to attempt to diagnosis the problem myself. In the meantime, I will continue to use the Samsung Jr until I have the resources to purchase a new microwave.

Samsung Model RFG297HDWP/XAA. The unit is a three door bottom freezer I purchased in November of 2013 from Sears. I had the ice maker repaired once and then replaced. It is Junk and a terrible flaw in design. In addition the Fridge has shut down at least Three times for no apparent reason. I came home one evening and opened the door to find the lights working but it seemed warm. I have two thermometers installed which showed the interior temp at 60 degrees. I opened the freezer drawer and that was also not cold. I hit the Digital display and it showed the set point at 36 and after a few seconds flashed the actual reading of 60 degrees - Freezer flashed a reading of 30 degrees. I called Samsung tech support and did what they asked me to do. I unplugged it for over a minute. Plugged it back in. Nothing. I put it in power cool mode. Nothing. After around 30 minutes I heard the compressor kick in. Amazing. This has happened three times that I know of... I was gone for three months last summer. Who knows?? I had purchased the master Protection Agreement from Sears, Thank God. A service Tech came out and just so he didnt think I was crazy. I took a video of the digital displayed temperature readings. He was here for more than two hours, ordered several boards and said to call when the boards arrived. They arrived and I called and a different Service Tech came out and tried to install the boards only to tell me they were the wrong parts and he didnt think the fridge needed both boards anyway. I told him That I would rather he change out both than take a chance and that maybe Sears should communicate with the first tech on this issue of what boards need to be replaced. I am not confident that this will solve the problem. It is a Manufacturing defect and Samsung should be held liable.Updated on 10/31/2016: I just had the fridge repaired on October 19, 2016. The fridge would shut down randomly for no apparent reason. The Sears tech diagnosed and ordered two new circuit boards. Eleven days later the problem came back. This time it is tripping the circuit breaker when shutting down. The one thing that is different now is the motor or fan is constantly running for hours and hours before the shutdown and the tripped breaker. I called Samsung and they are of no help. When will they help us consumers who are stuck with lemons that have cost them over two thousand dollars.

A Samsung stove was delivered to me on 11/15/14. I had no need to use the interior of the stove for several days, when I did - on approx. 11/22/14 - I found that the oven would not heat. I reported to Samsung who sent out reps to look at it. They found that due to faulty wiring in the unit that a fire had started and burned out the inside. This could have done major damage to our home. In a quick summary, it has now been 2 months and I still do not have a replacement stove. I have had to order in and eat many meals out, including Christmas dinner which I was expected to host for 13 people. I have 3 young children and have not been able to prepare them proper meals. Samsung could care less. Their customer service is awful. They are lucky my house is still standing! The receipt attached is from Home Depot, but I have been dealing with Samsung for a replacement. I spent nearly $6,000 on new refrigerator, range, dishwasher and microwave less than one year ago and also bought the extended warranty. The first dishwasher they delivered did not work at all and they had to bring a new one. The stainless steel refrigerator was replaced twice after several service attempts to fix ice maker that makes only crushed ice. The unit still only makes crushed ice because it is a design flaw and with every glass of cubed ice you get about 30% of crushed ice. I bought the biggest and best unit on the market.. and we are very disappointed.. The wording ice and water rubbed off within the first couple months and was unreadable. Today, I had problems with the microwave. The numbers are beginning to wear off the front panel. When I called Samsung service they indicate that is a cosmetic issue and not covered by the warranty. I would never ever consider buying Samsung appliances for my kitchen.

I brought a Samsung kitchen package at Best Buy. I have had countless problems with the Dishwasher, many of which have been previously written - doesnt wash the dishes, horrible smell (and I wipe my dishwasher interior door after each use), then when I tried to use it all of sudden lights are flashing and it doesnt drain. First repair said that Best Buy installed incorrectly, fixed that and then the door wouldnt open properly. Tried to use again, same issue with lights flashing and it moves to delicate and doesnt drain again. New repairman came out and said hes NEVER seen a controller board go in a dishwasher cost of the board is $190.00 + installation. Never buying a Samsung kitchen appliance again. Samsung you should stick to TVs and cell phones.

I got the dreaded SE error message and went online because there is no troubleshooting article in the booklet. Did the Fix from a YOUTUBE video... and also learned from YOUTUBE videos that Samsung was providing new keypads on these because it was such a known defect. So I called Samsung... and was told that indeed they are NOT doing that... that I needed to contact the local repair person. So I did... and he told me to call Samsung again and lie to them that I was worried my microwave was going to burn down my house... thus forcing them to provide the free part (and service to install). So, all that to say that I wish I had purchased some other brand of microwave... note taken.

Hello, we purchased the Samsung 30.5 CuFt French Door Refrigerator Stainles
Hello, we purchased the Samsung 30.5 CuFt French Door Refrigerator Stainless Steel Model Number RF31FMESBSR in June 2013. It looks like there is some manufacturing defect as we see the water leakage and rust on the backside of the refrigerator. Thus anyone else is facing similar issues? We had 1-year manufacturer warranty and 60 months protection plan from Home Depot; however, in this specific issue it was a little difficult to notice the problem since it was on the backside of the refrigerator and as you know how many people go and look at the backside of the refrigerator once its install. As per the Samsung service company, other consumers also had similar issues. However, Samsung is not taking any actions to resolve the issue citing the refrigerator is out of warranty.

Purchased a Samsung model #RF263TEAESR French door model with bottom freezer December 2014. After 3 months they replaced compressor. Took 7 days for them to get a replacement. Now ice maker quit working after 9 months in use and started freezing over and leaking water. Serviceman said to unplug the refrigerator. He would be back in the morning. Called Brandsmart where I purchased the Samsung Refrigerator. Said they have to order the part. Will take 1-2 weeks. I have read all the reviews with some of the same problems. I think a class action law suit is warranted especially since these are design defects from the start. I purchased Samsung TV in the past. Good quality. Running over 5 years with no problem. I dont believe they know how to built good quality appliance.

Most of the time most of the dishes are clean, but coffee grounds and such are thrown up into the cups and glasses on the top rack. Stuff in the bottom is okay, as are things in that top drawer for silverware. The dishes are always rinsed off and loaded carefully. Its annoying to always have to check the inside of the cups and glasses. Pots usually get clean on the pots and pans cycle, unless there is stuck on food.

I have only had this refrigerator (Model Rs2530BSH) for 5 years. It started giving me problems in the 2nd year. Now, it is completely out. It is hard to get anyone to work on this piece of trash and the parts are very hard to find. Once I found the parts on the internet, I was told the main part was on back order (the main circuit board) because of high demand. That is a shame. No part to a refrigerator should be in high demand. That means it is a manufacturer problem and it should have been recalled. This is frustrating and costly. Everyone who purchased this piece of junk should receive some type of reimbursement.

My daughter turned on the stove. She then heard a buzzing, a pop, and saw smoke. I told her to turn it off and attempt to unplug it. My husband came home to unplug it and left it as it. I saw a white powder covering the internal glass, tiny pieces of glass on the bottom. The house was filled with a smoky (didnt smell like burning though). All the windows were opened to clear it. I started an online chat with Samsung. They told me to unplug it and wait for their people to come. That was 4 days ago. I have since had 2 chats and 2 phone calls with Samsung. Still nothing has happened. Last I was told that if I did not hear from them in 2-3 days to call back. That would be a week. Customer service has been unhelpful, unknowledgeable and a waste of time.

I have the Samsung RS265TDRS side by side refrigerator which I purchased 8-11-10 from hhgregg. I purchased a 5 year warranty with it at the time. Since the purchase, within a week I started calling for service. They replaced the display, ice maker, main control board, evaporator fan twice while it was in warranty. Since the warranty ran out in the past year I have replaced the evaporator fan and have had to remove and defrost the coils in the refrigerator twice and open the drain in the pan on the freezer side. Right now I have the icemaker pulled out and the water turned off. It kept putting water in the ice maker but wasnt dumping ice. Ice built up inside the freezer like a glacier. So I called Samsung Chat!! They claimed they are unaware of any of these issues on their website! DUH! Anyways they claim they have filed a report and will get back with me. Well see! In my opinion I have a LEMON!! BAD Purchase!! No Backup!! They should stick with electronics! Do not recommend Samsung Refrigerators!

Bought Samsung french door fridge August 2014. Have had nothing but problems with the ice maker. Repairman has been out numerous times. The last time Sears sent one, he said my ice maker was working as it was suppose to! I am going to call them again and have them come out. It drops ice once every 4 or 5 hours, I dont think that is right. The ice container has never been full and I am the only one using ice and I am gone 9 hours a day! I still buy a bag of ice every 3 or 4 days to fill the ice maker. I am sorry I bought this appliance. Because they obviously are not going to do anything to fix it properly.

We purchased a suite of samsung appliances to upgrade our kitchen. We have had problems with literally every piece. Never again. We have the DMT800RHS. This dishwasher has never dried acceptably since day one. It usually leaves food particles. We have learned to inspect dishes as we remove them. We have a perpetual drying mat on the counter. We leave the door slightly ajar when not in use to keep the unit dry. It seems to cut down on the odors. We run a vinegar clean cycle every other month to keep the drains clean. This seems to have solved the intermittent drain code problem. We wipe the seal with a rag every week to prevent sludge build up and seal leaks. My 20 year old car requires less maintenance. After reading many of these reviews I almost feel fortunate. We now have the rack handles dissolving. It seems like the detergent (or possible the vinegar cleaning required for the odor problem) has broken down the rubber to the point it is flaking off and sticking to the dishes. We took a scrapper and removed as much as we could. Hope some of these tips may help some of you get by until you can replace this horrible appliance. Just never again...

My son bought a new Samsung washer/dryer and it leaked and caused extensive damage to his home, within the first two weeks of ownership. I would not buy or recommend their appliances to anyone. I purchased a Samsung dishwasher from Home Depot in April. I had to wait about a month and a half to even receive it. When it finally did arrive, it arrived with a broken piece in one of the main water dispensers, so its impossible to use it. The very next day I called to make a replacement. I was told someone was going to call me within 48-72 hours while they processed the issue. I never got a call. So I kept calling back once or twice a week, and each time I voiced my problem, and that I had already called, and that I was waiting for a replacement. Every time it was a different representative, so I had to explain myself every single time. I let them know that I just want it replaced. They tell me I understand your frustration, Im trying to help you resolve this issue but its a lie, nothing gets done. Im now on week six of trying to STILL replace my brand new broken dishwasher.

I purchased a Samsung French door in Aug. 2015 from PC Richard with extended warranty for 15 years. I noticed frozen crisper bins in Nov. 2017 and contacted PC Richard. After five days, two servicemen showed up for a scheduled repair. They then stated the kit was ordered and I have to wait 3-5 business days. I read online the kit can be purchased the same day. This problem with Samsung is rampant. The servicemen then stated the newer refrigerators do not have the problem. Then my question is: Why would Samsung sell a product knowing there is a defect? My family had the same problem with their Samsung refrigerator.

I chose to upgrade my kitchen, new cabinets, flooring, ceiling, walls and appliances. Now, my old refrigerator was about 10 years old and I never had one issue with it, I just wanted everything to be stainless steel. I happened to go with the Samsung French door refrigerator because I liked the way it looked and that it was big enough to store a lot of food in the refrigerator, as well as the freezer. If I would have known that I would have half the issues I have with it, I would have never of purchased it. Why would I want to buy it if every other month, it has to be defrosted so much so that I have to store my food at someone elses house because the whole refrigerator/freezer/icemaker shuts down and takes 24 hours to get back to the right temperature. I have been a homeowner for over 18 years and I have never been more disappointed in an appliance as I am with this refrigerator. I paid over 2,000.00 for it and I am so ready to put it out as junk!!!!

There are a couple main problems with the refrigerator (Samsung Refrigerato
There are a couple main problems with the refrigerator (Samsung Refrigerator Model RF323TEDBSR/AA):1. There is a design flaw in the upper ice dispenser. When you select cubed ice, the dispenser crushes about 1/3 to 1/2 of the ice cubes. The problem lies in the design of the module. The opening to the ice chute is just too small and/or too close to the crusher mechanism which is just above the ice chute. The auger feeds more ice per given amount of time (seconds) than can fall through the hole to the chute before building up a pile at the hole. As this pile of ice builds up, it eventually begins to feed into the crusher mechanism. This results in about one third to one half of the cubes being crushed. Samsung technical support asked us to empty and reset the ice module but it made no difference. Finally my wife called them and had to escalate to the upper tier of support and they sent a second module but we found no difference in performance.2. The second problem is with the overall quality of the refrigerator. The hinge/pins for the drawer lids broke within the first couple months of ownership. These are little plastic pins, which are about 1/2 the diameter of a pencil, that allow the clear plastic lid to swing open upward when you pull the crisper or meat/cheese drawers out. I fixed them by drilling them out and inserting a wooden dowel rod and securing them with some industrial strength glue. Theyve held for almost a year now like that.3. Finally, the silver finish is flaking off the control/menu panel. This is a cosmetic flaw I understand but for a 1 year old product this is absolutely unacceptable. Samsung refused to do anything for us on this and my wife was adamant that there should be some replacement part shipped but they refused.Overall we are finding out that the refrigerator is just poor quality. We purchased the refrigerator because it had all the features we wanted. The second ice maker in the lower freezer drawer was a big reason we bought it. Now we have to open that drawer and dig out the ice cubes for our drinks if we dont want crushed ice which is all we can get from the front dispenser.I also wanted to make a comment about the water filter. The Aqua Fresh filters that are rated to be a match for the Samsung model HAF-CIN are of poor quality. I had a 3-pack of filters and the first filter worked without any issues for many months. Then the indicator light came on telling me it was time to replace the filter. The second and 3 filters from that pack leaked water into the drawer just below the filter. I ultimately had to replace them with the Samsung filter. This is not a Samsung complaint, but rather for information so others know my experience with the off-brand filters.

We purchased a Samsung French Door Refrigerator (no ice dispenser) a few years ago (It was built in 2011). We began to have problems with water/ice buildup under the cold storage tray since last Fall. We thought we must have spilled water in the refrigerator. It kept happening with increasing frequency. It became a weekly process to remove the cold storage tray and remove an inch of ice and water from the bottom of the refrigerator. It then became necessary to remove the water twice a week to prevent water from spilling out of the refrigerator all over the floor. Several members of my family started getting sick with what we thought was the stomach bug.We noticed that the refrigerator did not seem to be very cold although the temperature stated it was 34 degree until one night the temperature reading said 58 degrees! I called a repairman who told me the panel in the back was probably frozen and we would need to unplug the unit and wait at least 24 hours for the back panel to defrost. We began the process of throwing out food and found several moldy containers. We realized this was most likely the reason we were getting sick! We were being poisoned by our refrigerator! We immediately decided to throw it out and purchase another one! Having a refrigerator for only a few years and to have this happen, I will never buy another Samsung product again.

I purchased this microwave from Home Depot in Squamish BC, and have not stopped regretting it after numerous and non-stop issues. The power level button has never worked, the magnetron broke, the machine ran continuously without shutting off, it displayed multiple error codes. The sensor pad, key pad and magnetron (everything but the fan and light) were all replaced within the 1st year, costing much more than replacing it and the same issues are still happening now just outside of warranty. I was told I could purchase a extended warranty any time within the 1st year and was not able to after many attempts. After much complaining and pressure, Home Depot did advocate for me to get a new replacement unit but was not successful. This horrible experience could have been far less stressful if not for the inflexible and unreasonable policy of Samsung. The many agents I spoke with were polite and understanding but completely unable to provide reasonable customer service due to the strict, wasteful and outrageous Samsung repair rules policies and guidelines. I am awaiting to hear back from them after another phone call but based on the last year of my experience with this appliance, am not holding my breath. I hope this review saves someone else from this very frustrating experience. There are hundreds of videos on youtube and complaints highlighting the same issues we have had with our machine. These appliances seem to be consistent lemons.

It took about a month to get someone there to fix it (under warranty). 18 months later its not under warranty and it has failed again. I think we paid around $1,100.00 new so the cost of ownership has been over $350.00 a year.
