Purchased a Samsung Microwave from Lowes in December and by May it started acting up not coming on or it will work for a 2 weeks and stop again. Now here it is a month later and this time its no longer working. I called their service center to have it repaired and they have canceled 3 times. Its been 9 days that I have been without my microwave. Now they scheduled it again for Friday... 3 more days later. I will never again in life purchase anything from Lowes. And anyone out there reading this l would advise you to do the same.

French door refrigerator. The worst hunk of junk second fridge in 5 years. First ice maker fan was replaced twice. Then the icing started in ice maker has to be cleaned every 2 weeks. Then behind panel in fridge loud fan noise. Service man came out 4 times to clean ice build up and replace heat element in drain. Well can you believe it did not work. So now I get to empty the fridge every 3 weeks, take the panel off to clean all the ice out around the fan and build up on the lines. The sad part is they know all about these problems and do nothing. Would never buy another Samsung again. Thank you Samsung for giving me some extra work to do every month.

I purchased a Samsung Dishwasher three years ago when doing a kitchen renovation. It has been nothing but a problem! It was serviced three times in the first year! Numerous pieces have broken inside the dishwasher and it does NOT clean my dishes!! The dishes on the top rack come out dirtier than when they are put in! I have given up and after three years am replacing it! NEVER NEVER BUY A SAMSUNG DISHWASHER!!

My advice - DONT buy Samsung products. The condo block my friend lives in has Samsung dishwashers installed. Three of them that I know of have quit. It is impossible to get good service with any kind of results. The technician at the other end keeps you on the phone for hours and wont consent to new parts or agree that there is a problem covered under warranty. It took one gal seven months to get any results. Two are still working on it. They are not cooperative at all. We had a Samsung TV. What a disaster. The picture was always blurry and with movement, it was followed by a delayed shadow. Weve switched to LG products and love them.

Just adding to the huge damning file on Samsung. My experience is the same as everyone else on this site. Dishwasher breaks down 1 month outside warranty, and there is NO fix for it. Calls for help to Samsung are useless as all they do is refer you to a service center. How can they get away with this? Samsung dishwashers simply suck! Dont buy!!! I am currently into attempting my own repair on this machine. Just stripping and cleaning everything but reached a point where heavy lifting is required and thought I would check online for help - when I found this site. I will go no further, just put back together, start it up and if it is still not working, I will trash it! No sense putting good money after bad.

BUYER BEWARE! Heres what Im dealing with right now: We purchased an entire kitchen set from Samsung.com in December as a black Friday special. In March, the dishwasher stopped working. We contacted Samsung via their website and set up a ticket. The day of the appt, the technician didnt show, we contacted them and were told that Samsung cancelled their contract that day due to Covid. No one bothered to call us to let us know. They said we would have to wait until the lockdown had passed. We did. For 3 months. As the state has now reopened, we contacted them to see when we could get the repair. They advised us they no longer had a repair service in the area. We then asked for a replacement, they never actually responded to that despite our insistence of a repair or replace, instead they offered to refund us the amount we paid for the dishwasher. Because of the discount we received for purchasing this is as a set, the amount they are willing to refund is only half the cost of a replacement dishwasher. This would force us to have to pay out an additional $400 after going 3 months without a working product, this is unacceptable. For the first 3 months I was cordial and patient, but this past week has brought out a whole different side. I am beyond frustrated with their customer service, and I do not think it is right that I would have to pay them any more money to get what should have been included in my initial kitchen package. We got their Tuscan Stainless Steel set and it is an exclusive color only to Samsung, we would have no choice but to give them more money or risk losing home resell value for having a mismatched set.

I bought this dishwasher because it was recommended in the press as a good product. My experience with a Samsung dishwasher is nothing but problems. The dishwasher will not clean the dishes properly even after you rinse them down to start. I have had to replace the pump on this dishwasher twice and the service charge is around 200 dollars a visit. This is over a 28 month period. My advice to anyone wishing to buy a Samsung dishwasher should look at another product and leave this one alone.

I purchased my microwave in 2010 Serial # J4LVMOSC00753V. After about 2 years I got the infamous 5E error. I found information on the internet as to how to repair it myself. When I opened the front of the unit to access the inside of the control panel, I found that the hot wire connector was melted. I must have been very close to a fire! I replaced the connector and dried the wires to correct the 5E error. The 5E error reappeared again after a few months. I again dried the wires. To keep the story short, the 5E error appeared more and more frequently, until finally it was happening weekly. The unit is now waiting for the junk man to collect it.

My husband bought me a fridge for Christmas. I was so excited. We waited 6 weeks for it to get here, only to find out it didnt work! We did everything the manual told us to do and called the rep. The repair guy came out, looked at it, said it wasnt our fault, that we did nothing wrong and they would replace it no problem! After weeks of waiting, I called Samsung back only to be told they were doing nothing! The repair guy told them we laid it on its side (which is not true) and said that it was our fault the fridge didnt work! They blamed Canex, they blamed us, but held firm that it was not their fault and they are going to do nothing. So now I am left with a $1,700 paperweight! Dont waste your money. They treat people horribly and it will be a nightmare of an experience!

My elderly parents bought this refrigerator and after thirteen months began
My elderly parents bought this refrigerator and after thirteen months began having issues. They would send someone out but it would be 2 weeks. I told them of their health issues, my dad is a heart patient and diabetic and we really needed something pretty quick. I was also told from customer service you should always have a back up refrigerator. I asked, Who could afford two refrigerators, and where would you put two? The tone got worse and then I was just pretty much angered with his non-caring attitude. Not to mention that only very few technicians are certified to do a service call. I called Sears and they generously offered 3 days sooner. Very honest and tried to offer other options to try such as unplugging the unit for 2 days in case it had froze up, before spending money my parents did not have on their fixed income. We were never told to try anything from Samsung, to maybe save the expense to a sick, elderly couple. I was told that the minimum amount would be around $685.00 for the visit. Needless to say, we took his advice to unplug the unit for 2 days then restart. At least Sears tried to offer an alternative for us. Have lost food/beverages twice, still no refrigerator/ice maker, etc. Enough air flowing to not be eligible for warranty for a big part such as compressor, etc. Will probably be replaced ASAP b/c that is more than half the price it cost to begin with. After two weeks, they are living from a dorm size refrigerator and a Yeti cooler for ice. With their customer service, me along with my parents are done with Samsung. Sad to say on reviews on this particular type, they are messing up at about the 13-month mark. There is no excuse for a nice, new refrigerator to tear up with barely over a year of use. Never again! Very frustrated, not to mention the anguish my parents are going through. When you buy something that expensive, you expect it to last a while. I have had my Kenmore side-by-side for almost 20 years so we have learned a lesson. But the main lesson is all about the attitude you give the person on the other end of that phone. Try to be a little sympathetic to an elderly persons situation Samsung! Going to try to find another one after their check comes the first of the month. Another several days.

I purchased the new Samsung Waterwall dishwasher (Model dw80h9930US) from HH Gregg this past summer. I almost bought a Bosch but the new features of the Samsung seemed to be a better deal. Besides I already owned a Samsung washer, dryer and refrigerator. After about a month, I noticed the door started popping open during the wash cycle. I would push it back in and it would continue to pop open. I contacted HH Gregg and they informed me I had to contact Samsung. I did and they sent out a repairman who re-positioned the dishwasher and said that was the cause. After he left, I began using it again and the same thing started to happen, the door popped open during a wash cycle. I called them back again and they sent out the same technicians who fiddled with the baskets and thought that the top basket was pushing open the door during the cycle. They wanted to order a new basket for me. In the meantime, I was running the dishwasher and continually pushing in the door when it popped out until one evening, the unit beeped and the code LE appeared. This code was for Leakage and the manual instructed me to turn off my breaker to the dishwasher and call Samsung. Now I was not only without a dishwasher but my disposal was connected to that breaker. I called Samsung and demanded a new unit but they insisted on sending out the technicians again. At this point I had it with Samsung and decided to call HH Gregg. I explained to them my dilemma and they have graciously offered to replace my Samsung with a Bosch. I am overwhelmed with gratitude and will never forget the service I got from HH Gregg. They also were aware of the problems with the Samsung and were willing to help their customers get a dishwasher that works. I will never buy another Samsung product again.

After 1.5 years from purchasing my Samsung refrigerator the coils started frosting over which caused both icemakers to stop producing ice. I defrosted it several times by removing the freezer interior panel and using a blow dryer to melt the ice. I did some research and all I found were hopeless complaints online. I started thinking the fridge was no good. I did some troubleshooting and replaced the thermistor and defrost thermostat located in the freezer behind the panel. Thank God it worked! Hope this can help someone.

My Samsung French door fridge with drawer is only five years old and the fan in the top went out and the temperature raised to 54. No warranty so I called Sears (They were horrible!! Thats a whole other story). The parts are incredibly hard to get, it takes WEEKS!!! In the meantime our refrigerator is too warm! We lost lots of food and could only shop for one meal at a time! The next service man that came out told us we may as well replace it now rather than waste our money and that we were lucky to get 5 years out of it. That repairman told us to stay far away from Samsung appliances. We replaced it was a Maytag and are very happy we did.

In April 2010, purchased the Samsung RF267 AEPN refrigerator. Three years later, the refrigerator was making a horrible sound. A few days later, the cooling stopped and we lost all the food in the refrigerator and freezer. Cause? Lots of ice had formed; the fan was hitting it, causing the noise. New evap. fan $256. Garbage. Ice maker never worked correctly. Shelves break. Door flapper broke. Freezer drawer slides blew out. Never cold enough. Freezer door handle pulled completely off. Freezer fills with 4 of ice on bottom and leaks water constantly. Ruined my floor. Threw away broken freezer sliding drawer. Always had to pull out and unplug to reset frozen electronic controls. Wasted plenty of food. Wish I had a bomber to drop it through factory roof. Just a complete waste of raw materials and food. Such junk and a waste of money. Samsung electric slide-in range. First -- Samsung does not honor its warranties. Second -- in a period of 3 years, the left front burner cause a break in the glass in the same place while boiling water on 8, not high. After pressing Samsung relentlessly and being accused of lying, they finally replaced the top, but with no additional warranty. Their repair people here in Ill, Unique didnt even run diagnostics. Less than one year later the same burner caused the same break with the same configuration as stated above. I was across the room, no I didnt hit the glass and no Im not a liar. Third -- I did manage to set a hot dog on fire using the broiler. I let the fire burn out as trying to fix it would add oxygen and thats not a great idea. It burned out the oven altogether. The oven will no longer work at all. Finally -- as for operation --- If you lean on the control system at all -- say to lift a pot from the back burner, you will likely turn on another burner or turn your oven on or off without knowing it. Great product. So, after spending too much on an inferior product I am now in the position of having to spend even more money to purchase a new oven. One might also consider the battery and glass problems that Samsung has had with their phones. Inferior glass... Inferior sub-contractors (Unique)... Inferior claims dept. Dont do this to yourself.

I opened the door and threw water on them to put them out. Then I unplugged the oven. I called Samsung immediately to report this. I was told I would be contacted by a technician with 24 hours. The repair department did not call me until 2 days later and the earliest appointment available was for Wednesday, September 14. In the meantime I called the electrician to check my electrical outlets and service. Everything is up to code--prover voltage, etc. Now I am waiting for the repair tech to arrive on Wednesday. My 4 year old Samsung French Door Refrigerator stopped cooling. As it was a Saturday night, I called a local repair company who came out and replaced the electronic control boards. That didnt fix the issue, so I called Samsung and found out that the unit has a 5 year warranty on the closed system. They gave me a repair ticket and said that the service provider would call in 24 to 48 hours later. The service center rejected the ticket because it doesnt do that repair. I have so far called the service center 4 times and have been escalated to the Executive Customer Relations department. Each time they have sent the ticket to the same service center and it has been cancelled. I have tried to escalate further but the Executive Customer Relations department is apparently a series of call centers with no centralized structure, no consistency and no accountability. I am giving up on Samsung at this point and I will never buy another one of their products. It appears to me that the warranty is a sham because they do not have anyone to actually do the repair they warranty.

Three years ago we purchased brand new Samsung appliances for our remodeled kitchen. BIG MISTAKE! Within 2 1/2 years both ice makers in the refrigerator (model RF323TEDDBSR) stopped working. After 3 repair visits and a 6 week wait for parts to arrive, we paid nearly $400 to have the bottom freezer repaired. It would cost several hundred dollars more to repair the top freezer so we declined to do this. Today, our Samsung electric range (model NE59J7850) overheated and broke. Samsung Microwave model no SMH9151STE - I received the SE Error for the first time a week ago or so and followed the instructions provided to clear the error so that the microwave can function again. Unplugging did reset and clear the SE error only for about 12 hours and then it came back again. I called Samsung and discovered that my warranty had expired. The microwave is under 2 years old. The angering part is that it took the very nice repairman about 15 to 20 minutes total to switch out the part and correct the issue. The total cost of the part was $33.61. I was charged $135 plus tax for about 20 minutes of labor. This seems like a common error and since this is the case, why doesnt Samsung provide some sort of discount since their product is defective? Samsung should stand behind their products and offer customers experiencing the SE error some sort of discount or no charge for 20 minutes of labor!

Nightmare... Purchased the dishwasher June of 2014, 2 years later water wall error 7E, which is an expensive fix. It involves two motors and a sensor. Called several service technicians in our area, they all stated that there are several service bulletins and TSIs posted for Samsung service technicians in regard to this issue so it would be best if I called Samsung because Samsung should fix for free because it is a product defect that is warranted. I called Samsung at 1.800. Samsung and spoke with William in customer service. He agreed that this is a defective issue with this Samsung dishwasher and that they would offer me a one-time extended service agreement and would set up an authorized Samsung service company to come out and fix it.The next day I received a call from the Authorized Service Company, Quick Fix and they said that I would have to pay for the service because it was out of warranty, I stated what William had told me. They said, “Well, in addition to this not being written in the notes, we no longer service your area so Samsung will have to provide another authorized service company for your unit.” So I called Samsung back and spoke with supervisor Tyler (employee number- **) and Layla (employee number **). They stated that William had not written it in the notes for the extended service warranty and that Samsung does not even have an authorized service company in our area, so they wouldnt be able to help us. We have asked them to review the recorded service call with William as they stated that they couldnt honor because it was not in the notes.I went back to my warranty. It states that Samsung will cover all parts and labor if it is deemed to be a defect issue. We went back to Best Buy to receive assistance with the issue as we had purchased the DW80H9930US from Best Buy. The sales reps, Chris, tried to call Samsung and get help with the issue as they had a list of authorized Samsung service repair in SWFL. Samsung also told Best Buy that they did not have authorized Samsung repair service in SWFL. Best Buy started giving them the list. They said that Best Buy would need to contact Samsung’s ECR service. Best Buy did state that this is always an issue with Samsung and that they have poor customer support and that there are a lot of issues with Samsung appliances.ECR was closed, so Best Buy passed my complaint to Vanessa, she called ECR the following week. Samsung’s customer service agent told Vanessa that Samsung would be giving me a full refund on my dishwasher as they know that there is a severe issue with the water wall on these dishwashers. Samsung had Vanessa fax my receipt and other documentation to a fax number. They were supposed to send fax her back with a refund letter so that I could purchase a new dishwasher from Best Buy. A couple of days went by with no word, so Vanessa called Samsung back. Samsung stated that they had no record of Vanessa ever calling and that no refund would be issued. Vanessa stated that Best Buy would not be able to help me any further. Why are Samsung and Best Buy still selling these dishwashers if they know that there are severe issues with the product and that neither one of them will stand behind the product, so the customer is left with an overpriced appliance that does not work. Both companies have failed in providing customer service and support. Neither one stands behind the warranty. Hoping that all appliance companies will read this and stop selling Samsung appliances! Customers stop buying from Samsung and Best Buy!

THE WORST COMPANY THAT DOES NOT STAND BY THEIR PRODUCT. REFRIGERATOR. Just like all the other one star reviews, our 2016 French Door models ice maker started freezing up and making an awful noise one year and one day after warranty. Have to defrost every 2 weeks with hair dryer. Customer Service is a JOKE!!!! Will look to join the Class Action suit.

I purchased a Samsung Refrigerator in February 2011 and I paid $1800.00 cash. 1 year later the Ice maker inside (the part that houses the ice) cracked. In November of 2014 (2 weeks before Thanksgiving) the refrigerator became very loud and stop cooling. I enrolled in Sears Warranty Protection Plan and I have had to call repairman every 2 months. I will never buy another Samsung again. I want my MONEY BACK!!!

I too am experiencing the same problems with my refrigerator as other consumers. I purchased this model in 2012 for $2000 and have had 3 problems so far. First, the water dispenser cracked when I tried getting a glass of water - took Sears 2 months to get the correct part from Samsung. Next, one of the shelves on the door cracked (I live alone so there are no reckless kids in the house). Now I am having my third issue with this 2-year-old refrigerator. Water leaks into the drawers and collects on the floor if I dont get to it right away. It starting making a noise like a train was coming through my kitchen - the dreaded fan problem others have complained about. Had to defrost mine twice already and was told by a representative that this is caused by a poor seal within the doors, and I should remove the seals and reinstall them. I was also told they would supply parts if a service call was made but I have to pay the labor! Isnt that the most expensive part of a repair? What a ripoff - these refrigerators should all be recalled. I think the next step calls for a class action suit against Samsung!

I bought fridge, stove, microwave, dishwasher from Leons in Canada. The extended warranty has been the best money Ive ever spent - ever. Excluding the microwave, in the three years since I bought them, Ive had close to TWENTY service calls on the three appliances. There have been numerous problems. The stove was arcing 220 Volts onto the chassis of the appliance, the top spontaneously (really!) cracked. The burner switch burned out. The ice maker in the fridge has had 5 service calls, drips water on the floor every time you open the door and still ices up regularly. The dishwasher leaves debris on the dishes even though I rinse most food waste off the dishes and they claim it has a food disposal feature. I just had multiple components including the pump and fill module replaced. Dont buy any household appliances by SAMSUNG. They are poorly designed and cheaply made.

I bought this piece of junk Oct. 2017 at Home Depot for over $1200.00 with the no customer service protection plan through Asurion. This was what we thought was a beautiful sleek side by side that would last at least 10 years. We arent rich people so this was our first side by side. The thing started making a terrible racket a few days ago and just gets worse. It apparently has a design flaw that causes ice to build up around the fan which leads to an expensive failure. After 2 days of around 12 calls to Asurion I have to wait 3 weeks for a repair. They initially set me up with a rude fly by night jerk, but hes not coming so I have to wait three weeks now for a different repair place. Nobody wants to work on Samsung appliances. You call someone in whos not factory authorized there goes the warranty. Since weve been put in this position, were forced to spend money we dont have on another refrigerator. Try finding a refrigerator during a Pandemic while riots are taking place. It seems impossible but we must have a refrigerator. The cheapest we can find is an apartment size for almost $400.00. We cant afford this & Im sure Asurion wont reimburse us for the money we have to spend for a back up fridge.

Do not buy Samsung Range/Oven. After a little over a year the top glass exploded. It damaged one of the burners. It never did heat properly from the beginning. Not only will Samsung not to do anything because it’s out of warranty but they can’t because they don’t make the parts for it anymore. The burners are no longer available and the glass top is on at least 25 day backorder. We bought a four appliance package from RC Willey’s. Microwave, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher. Microwave turns on when you when you shut the door. You have to push the stop button where it will just run all day long no matter what. Dishwasher smells foul no matter what we do. Samsung will not answer emails and their live chat stops working as soon as you describe your problem and they ignore you. Don’t buy Samsung appliances.

With reference to the above subject the day from when the day from when the refrigerator had been installed its not functioning properly, the vegetable tray which needs to keep the vegetables fresh is forming Ice and spoiling all the vegetables. There are several occasion wherein the technician have visited our residence to check it but rather than getting a solution for the issue they advise us how to keep and store the vegetables. The main issue of the technicians, whoever visits is that they cant resolve the issue but in return they keep advising us how to use the refrigerator, seems like its the first time that we have purchased the refrigerator and we are unaware of using it.Very sad and disappointed experience that we have faced in these months due to the Samsung refrigerator purchased. I would request the company either youll resolve the issue ASAP or else replace the refrigerator. I have always experienced a good customer satisfaction from Samsung, hoping that youll keep it up to the mark. Kindly please revert ASAP. Thanking you.

We purchased model #RF263BEAEBC and immediately had problems with the ice maker. It would leak water every time we used it and the ice would come out soft and mostly broken. After 5 service calls and a complete ice maker replacement during the 1 year MFG warranty, Samsung said there is nothing else they can do and left us with the same problem. Now the refrigerator is 1 year and 8 months old and is very noisy when it comes on and the ice maker problems are still there. I will never buy another Samsung product again. Samsung 3-Door Refrigerator Ice Maker - We purchased this in 2015. We’re disappointed in the icemaker from the beginning -- it did not make a lot of ice and ran out frequently. Then the icemaker started to freeze up periodically where we were unable to remove the ice storage box. Only by turning off the refrigerator were we able to defrost. On Monday, April 9, we called customer support for advice. I followed the instructions I was given and was assured that there would be a bucket of ice the next day. Wrong. The ice storage had completely defrosted. We noticed later in the day on Tuesday that the refrigerator was no longer cooling the frig or freezer areas. We called again on Tuesday and spoke with another representative who told us to do the same thing as the first. Nothing happened. After 75 minutes with this person, we were advised that we would probably have to replace the ice-making system, not under guarantee. She assured us that during this time, they were having one of their service people identify a local service location to assist. Then we told her that the refrigerator and freezer at least were working before we followed their instructions and shouldnt they be responsible for damaged food and whatever needed to get the frig and freezer working. She said to make an itemized list of the fold that was spoiling, take a picture and show the price. Didnt say they would reimburse, nor did she suggest any responsibility on their part for the problems caused by following the directions on the tech support. At this point, we asked for a supervisor. We were on hold for about an hour and finally hung up. We called again and were able to speak with a tech person who was able to at least get the frig and freezer working. The icemaker appears to be working now, but it will continue to back up and freeze, like it always does. This morning, another tech person called and asked if she could help resolve this over the phone. This was very disappointing, as I was expecting either a call from the local appliance repair place or perhaps the supervisor. This was unbelievable, and of course I was angry about how our problem was being handled. I mentioned that unless a supervisor was willing to call me back (I was no longer willing to wait for someone not to come on the phone), there was no longer a need for conversation. The tech support people were polite. But I will never, never again purchase any Samsung product.

We now prefer to watch everything on this tv then going to the cinemas as we feel we get a better experience at home with this tv and the Samsung Qn90B sound bar. Our only regret was not getting the 85”!! Though still satisfied with the 75”. After this, it will be hard to settle for anything less. You won’t regret purchasing this product. It brings old and new to life. You will feel like you are there in person. Detail and colour quality will blow you away! A good investment! Enjoy! Samsung has eye-catching features on their refrigerators HOWEVER as the saying goes Just because it glitters does not mean its gold! In other words JUST BECAUSE IT LOOKS FANCY DOES NOT MEAN IT WILL WORK LIKE IT SHOULD! I purchased a Samsung (Model#: RF28HFEDTBC - bottom freezer) four (4) years ago (9/2014) with a 3yr warranty. I paid over $1800 ON SALE! Now the ice is building up in the fridge ice maker and in the back unit. A technician from the Network Group technicians came out to check why my fridge was not cooling like it should. The tech told me that the ice maker has a replacement unit and this is why the fridge back panel has iced up. He said that the issue with the ice maker NOT working properly is causing the other issues. That sounds like a defective part to me! REFRIGERATORS LIFE EXPECTANCY IS MINIMUM 14yrs!He recommended that I keep the top ice maker off and only use the freezer ice maker or this will probably happen again. The technician also recommended that if I did not want to pay the $300.00 for the ice maker replacement, $150.00 for the back panel defrost/replacement of the fan, $80.00 for labor, that I could just pay the $80.00 for his 10-minute visit and unplug the fridge for minimum 3-5 days to allow it to defrost myself. I have been without a fridge for a week now trying to make sure the ice has fully defrosted. My cooler with bags of ice is keeping my food colder than that SAMSUNG! Maybe I should have got a mini fridge and an ice chest! Anything would have been better than this SAMSUNG refrigerator! I will NEVER buy a SAMSUNG product again.

I work for a Big Box Home Improvement Store. A customer purchased a Samsung dishwasher from our store with installation. Our installers installed the dishwasher on Christmas Eve, 2014. On December 26, the customer called and said the dishwasher was not rinsing the dishes. The dishes had a soap film, food particles and spots on them. The dishes were a mess. Our installer went to her house to see if it had anything to do with the install. No, the dishwasher was installed correctly.I then called Samsung and got the famous ticket # for my client. In the meantime she also called Samsung and they agreed to send someone out. He came out and just looked at the machine, not opened it or repaired it, just looked and said she was using too much soap. She called Samsung and they told her to purchase a special soap, she did, didnt help. They told her to use vinegar in her rinse cycle, she did, didnt help. They told her to rinse three times for every one wash, she did, didnt help. In the meantime I continued to call Samsung to get a repair person out to her house to fix the dishwasher. I have so many ticket # by now it is comical. Never again did they send a repair person to her house. Now her LE light is remaining on.The hours I spent on the line with the call center from mumble mouth world was terrible. The representatives speak in such heavily accented English you cant understand them, and you know they are laughing at you. I had spoken with everyone in the call center since they dont really elevate you to a manager but just pass you off to the rep sitting next to them. With each rep you have to repeat the entire story again. I got mad one time and yelled Dont you people know how to use a computer? I really offended them and from then on I didnt have to repeat the story. They read the notes in the computer. Each 45 minute call ended with a promise to send a repairman out. They NEVER EVER DID!Then when you call to tell them the repair person never called to set up a repair date, you get the famous ticket # again. Then I told them I wanted a return authorization #. Our store was going to take the piece of junk back and give her a new one. They refused stating She hasnt had three attempts at a repair! What? She should have had about six repairs but the repair person never comes. No RA# until three attempts had been made to repair the dishwasher by the Samsung repair person. Constant loop. Fortunately our store manager stepped up to the plate. She is to come into the store and pick out any dishwasher she wants as long as it is not a Samsung. Our installers will install the dishwasher and remove the defective one, no cost to her.

Dec 2014 when I bought my two-door SAMSUNG inverter refrigerator with 1 yr warranty of service and 10 years warranty of compressor. Im a bit happy of the long term compressor warranty without thinking the possible reasons why they are giving warranty that long. After two years, the compressor had to replaced since its not functioning. Since it has warranty so its free but I still spent around 6k for the labor and other parts needed. So, after the repair the equipment is again functioning very well, but just recently exactly after two years after the repair same problem encountered - the compressor is not functioning and what shocked me about is the estimated cost I have to spend. I need 9k excluding the compressor since its free. OMG. Why do I spend that much when I can use said amount to buy new one. BUT NO TO SAMSUNG! NEVER. The first ref I had lasted for 19 years (other brand)-without any repair. I just disposed it since I wanted new one.

We bought this range, Samsung NX58H565OWS in October 2014. In 3 years of normal family usage, we have had to replace the thermal coupler twice. All the knobs that control the stove top have broken and the cast iron grates have even broken. In over 25 years of owning appliances, I have never had one that broke down in so many ways. Never had knobs or grates broken before and two thermo couplers??? To make matters worse, my local appliance repair company wont service Samsung, wish Id known that before I bought it, lesson learned. I understand why they wont service this badly constructed stove/range. When I contact Samsung for help, the first guy hung up on me. The second lady just sent me to the parts department so that I could purchase all the replacement parts I needed. Time to buy a new stove, never again will it be a Samsung. Really disappointed!

Bought the unit last 2014 and started using it when we moved into our new unit in July 2014. Within 2 years, stains and discoloration appeared on both doors. In April 2017, have shelled out 1k plus for a replacement of what they called sensor, cause my freezer is not functioning. In less than 1 year, as of this writing, March 2018, it malfunctioned again, cant produce ice cubes and the whole unit is not cold enough to cool a pitcher of water. The mechanic from their authorized service center, checked it up and gave me an estimate amount of PHP5,000 to replace a leaked hose etc. I will now spend 6000 plus for a unit that I have used only for less than 4 years. I would rather buy a new unit if I have an extra money, and if I do never would I buy any appliances from this brand.

Big regrets, Samsung appliances are terrible. Purchased a 28 ft.³ Samsung French door refrigerator at Home Depot in 2015, within a year started having trouble with the icemaker. It freezes over, Samsung solution is to defrost it. I’ve done that for years. Now it’s getting worse, I used to be able to go a few months. Now can barely go a few weeks. It is an extreme inconvenience and definitely not something I expected out of a refrigerator that costs as much as this one. My only advice AVOID SAMSUNG unless you enjoy headaches & shady business ethics - oh and junk appliances!! This is a design defect and Samsung knows this yet will not recall these big hunks of junk. It is criminal what they’re getting away with!

Our refrigerator model number RF260BEAEWW and freezer stopped cooling on February 24. We called Samsung and a diagnostic repairman came to our home on February 27. It was determined that the compressor went out and someone else would need to come and replace the compressor. After a few follow up calls and being told they were waiting on the part the repairman came on March 14th. He replaced the compressor and the final test determined the unit was not holding pressure. The repairman called Samsung while at our home. The repairman told Samsung that the unit was not repairable. After the 30 minute call we were informed by the repairman that we would receive a replacement refrigerator. We were given an exchange number ** and to expect a call from Samsung in the next day or so. We did not hear anything from Samsung so we called on March 18. At that time we were told the exchange process takes 12 business days and we would just have to wait. We explained to the representative on March 18th how difficult it is to go without a refrigerator for 3 weeks especially with 3 children. It is very expensive to buy meals (dinner and breakfast) daily. Plus, we had already had to throw away the contents of the freezer and refrigerator. The week prior we spent over 300.00 on groceries (including meat and seafood). Which if we could find the receipt we would submit to Samsung for reimbursement. But the receipt was nowhere to be found. March 23rd we called to follow up with the exchange process. We were told that we needed to supply a bill of sale for the exchange process. This was the first time we were told this. April 11th we followed up on the bill of sale. We were told that since we purchased the unit at an appliance outlet store the unit was damaged and Samsung would not do anything for us. STAY AWAY FROM SAMSUNG REFRIGERATORS.

I also have a problem with my freezer/fridge, a repair man had been out twice. All he does is defrost it with a blow dryer, the drain does not work properly so the bottom of the freeze becomes a skating rink and you can open the bottom drawer. When this happens, the fridge also quits working so I have to take all my food out and put it in a ice chest, put all my frozen food in another freezer and defrost it for 1 to 2 days. I do not feel I should have to deal with this. About every two weeks it freezes up, so I do not even use the freezer part anymore, my unit is two years old, very very very unsatisfied. Samsung or Conns appliance need to give me a new one of equal value but definitely not a Samsung brand.

We purchased a Samsung (Mod RF267AB) French door refrigerator, and within 18 months, we had issues with water pooling in the pan under the deli pullout drawer. Since we had an extended warranty through Lowes, we had it fixed. Since that time, the same problem has been fixed two more times with no success. (Each visit has been a different repair guy, so no commonality there.) The last time, the technician also adjusted the level and tilted the fridge back saying that may help it drain! Starting yesterday, the upper cooling fan has begun growling. I need to call Lowes service to get them out again, and of course, it’s also not draining again. When we originally researched the unit, we consulted the leading consumer products reporting magazines article on refrigerators at the time where it was a top rated model along with the GE model we looked at, which apparently was the same one manufactured by Samsung for GE. Im very disappointed by this experience and also by the ratings assigned by the consumer magazine.

Two years after purchasing the dishwasher at Best Buy it stopped running with lE error. Set up a repair with Samsung but their local repair (Lake Electronics) did not have the insurance required by my condo. Then called another repair service and was told they had stopped repairing Samsung appliances because it was too difficult to work with the company. A third company diagnosed a broken temperature sensor, apparently a common problem The parts had to be ordered. It has been two weeks and they are not here and no information on when the repairs will occur.

We bought a Samsung Refrigerator French Door Style. We love the inside of the unit, but all the plastic parts are always breaking. The parts that hold the handles on and the top and bottom plastic parts of the freezer door. We have spent hundreds of dollars replacing the parts but they keep breaking. Yet no solution or recall. I have a repairman come out recommended by Samsung and he said the parts are no longer available. For a 2-year-old microwave? We tried again after a few days and the display has :0 on it. We purchased dishwasher. Sent in warranty card. The left side wall of stainless steel welding came loose so the unit tray would not move in and out to put or remove dishes. This part has a lifetime warranty. I have Samsung paperwork to prove it from their website. After two factory damaged replacement parts were sent to our home which were unable to be used to replace lifetime warranties part Samsung would not send any additional parts to my home. The repair service A&E confirms this part was manufactured in 2011 and the part has a lifetime warranty. They cannot help me further until Samsung sends a good repair part to my home. Which Samsung has not done. I assume they do not have a good repair drum to sent as a replacement. After more than 10 calls to Samsung about replacement and repair part, I called to resolve this issue but consumer department would no long take my complaint or send me to executive customer service. This started in April 2016 and my last call was on June 8, 2016. They stated they cannot help me further or escalate my call to anyone that could help. I am a senior citizen and just want Samsung to send me refund $813.00 for the warrantied part they cannot or do not have to repair the unit so we can replace the unit. I will not replace the unit with a Samsung if this is how they treat their consumers.

Our new apartment has a half-wall between the kitchen and living room. We wanted a quiet dishwasher. The salesperson at Best Buy said the Samsung was the quietest on the market, so we bought one. It stunk when we opened it, but thought that it simply had to be used and the stink would disappear. Boy were we wrong. It is now 8 months later, after trying different detergents such as Finish gel and tablets (which we have had good success with in our old dishwasher), vinegar, etc. and the rotten fish stink is still just as strong as day 1. I dont know if the dishwasher is quiet because of built-in soundproofing or just that we cant get close enough to it due to stink to hear it. NOT happy.

Bought this Samsung model #DW80H9930US dishwasher 8 months ago. The piece of crap starting leaking on its third use and has never stopped. The dishwasher leaks from the doors and seems beneath the door. It has never latched properly so that when if and when it ever reaches a steam cycle without human intervention, the steam escapes from the top of the dishwasher and soaks the entire counter top which then drips to the floor too. Sometimes, I would excited because I only had to intervene with the door twice during a cycle to ensure washing completion. 8 months later, I have to re-latch the door six times to complete the cycle while the dishwasher pisses all over the floor. Ive had Samsung out two times already to fix this never ending problem to no avail and I am working on my third time now.Getting in touch with someone to speak with at Samsung who can get me to the right person to fix the damn thing is a nightmare. After speaking with at least two people who I have to repeatedly ask to repeat themselves because of thick middle eastern accents, I am then told to email all of my proof of purchase receipts to an unnamed department without any point of contact information, whom I am told will get back to me within 24 hours. It then goes from 24 hours to 48 hours (as told by the third person with an accent). When I clarify with her that in two days I should be receiving a call, she tells me that its 48 BUSINESS HOURS! So I now have to wait another week before I even get a call back to tell me they have verified I made the purchase legitimately.So... I email my proof of purchase to a totally different group of people (apart from the customer service reps with accents) and they get back with me about 17 hours later, with an e-mail telling me I need to upload the documents instead of emailing the documents; more time wasted. This is Samsung!!! And when they call me back about four days later, with a blessing stating they believe I made the purchase, they call a company in California who contracts with repairmen in my state who will eventually come to my house to look at the leaking monstrosity. And if they dont get it fixed on that visit, I have to start the process over again. I am disgusted with Samsung and will never. DO NOT BUY SAMSUNG APPLIANCES. There is a class action lawsuit with their washing machines right now. I am surprised there is not a class action for the dishwashers. Anyone know a good torte attorney???

As I tell all of my friends, stay away from Samsung appliances. They may make good phones but they should stick to just that! We bought a Samsung french door, freezer on the bottom refrigerator 4 years ago. The ice maker started freezing up and not working 6 months after we bought it. At times it makes so much noise it wakes us up. Now a new problem... the fridge just stops cooling even though the freezer is still working. Its an on again off again problem leaving us never knowing when our food might go bad. Yesterday it stopped working for hours so I ordered a Whirlpool (which I shouldnt have to replace a rather expensive 4 year old fridge) online from Lowes. Then about 10 pm it just started working again. I called a repairman only to find out that, between diagnostic and the fix, someone would have to be here about 2 to 3 hours. My husband and I are both high risk if we get Corona so I really dont want someone in my home. Now I dont know whether to trust it or go ahead and spend another $2000 (were on social security and cant really afford it) or just hope and pray that we dont get sick from eating spoiled food if it goes out and comes back on while we are sleeping. From what I see on this forum Samsung, you have caused so much stress and anxiety with your defective products, not to mention possible illness. You should (but Im sure youre not) be ashamed!

We bought the model # DMT400RHW about 4 years ago. It has no buttons on the front. Just touch sensitive ones on top. Anyways we were so excited to have this dishwasher, I have two little kids (4 & 2) and they wouldnt be able to get into it, etc... However, my family and kids started getting sick a lot more than normal. I took my kids to a homeopathic doctor and discovered my son has an extreme issue with mold and allergies. He was allergic to penicillin, etc... Well, we also noticed the dishwasher didnt smell quite right after using it and couldnt figure out what the deal was. It looked clean inside. I bought dishwasher cleaners and ran those through it. It still smelled. Everyone kept asking us if we had mold in our house that might be making us sick. I scoured the house and could find nothing. Then, I was emptying the dishwasher a couple weeks ago and noticed that there was a bit of black stuff at the bottom of the front door coming out from under the seal. I got a paper towel and when I ran it under the seal and it came away black with mold and smelled like vomit. All this time Ive been washing dishes with that junk! No wonder my family has been so sick! I called the company customer service and they said theyve never had this problem with any of their models ever. I find that hard to believe! My husband says its a faulty design. I agree. If the seal was flush to the door no food and water could get trapped under it. Samsung said I just need to keep cleaning it with vinegar or bleach. Im sorry, but Ive never had to wipe out a dishwasher after every time I use it and I think thats ridiculous! I also dont like the fact that I cannot just do a rinse and dry cycle on this. You have to run it through fully every time. Needless to say we will not ever buy another Samsung again. Their customer service was terrible, even when I talked to a manager. Im over it already and now Im stuck with this faulty dishwasher.:(

One year after purchase, just after the warranty period finished, we found water freezing under and in the vegetable drawers. A month later we realized the paint was peeling off the handles. Searches online indicated other customers with the water problem had multiple service calls with no solution. Thinking that perhaps Samsung had found the solution since those calls happened, I tried contacting them. Since I had read of the same problem and the cause, I defrosted my fridge and was able to describe to Samsung exactly what was happening... but they wanted to send a service tech and charge me for the visit. I did not want to go through the useless repairs that other customers have gone through with no guarantee on their repairs, so we have not had a repairman. Every two or three months we defrost the fridge. Now the handles are looking awful and I dont know if they can do anything other than replace them with handles that have the same defect. I would like some real customer service from Samsung, but I just get boilerplate answers.

As everyone on this site has the same problems with Samsung refrigerator. I bought it January 2016 and less than 3 months had to have the computer board replaced. It did not make a difference. The whole bottom of the refrigerator freezes and has to be defrosted if you want to open it and it will stop making ice. There is a light that comes on to tell me to change the water filter, but it does not have one. For the last month it puts water under the draws and freezes. It is out of warranty now. It still is not paid for. After reading all the reviews I realize I need a new refrigerator, while still having to pay off this one. The store HH Gregg is no longer in business. The microwave does not work properly, just plain junk. I do not know why this company is allowed to sell products in the U.S. They are just stealing our money and getting away with it. How could they not be compelled to have a recall on these refrigerators. Keep me informed of any action with this company, please.

Bought this from SEARS just before Christmas around December 22 of 2010 to match the Samsung Stove that I bought for the new home that we had just moved into. Looked great and I was very pleased until it stopped working on Jan. 4th of 2012 (approximately). Throwing the error code SE and unplugging it and re-plugging it back in would allow it to work for maybe 5 minutes. I was so upset when I called Sears and they wouldnt even entertain the idea of coming out to service it unless I wanted to pay for the service call and whatever the problem was to fix. I realize that there is only a 1-year warranty on the microwave, but come on! It stopped working 2 weeks past the 1-year warranty end. Whatever happened to standing by what you sell? Its a shame that most of these products are made overseas and so cheaply and then sold for way more than they are worth. Its obvious to me that Samsung products are pretty much pieces of crap that arent even worth looking at. I encourage anyone considering one of their products to think twice. I am a very unhappy consumer and will tell everyone that I know to not even consider any product manufactured by Samsung. Yes, I could have purchased an extended warranty but come on people, 54 weeks an appliance works before breaking down and needing repair? That is absolutely absurd. I pretty much told Sears that they lost a customer and anyone else that I knew too. No wonder they are going out of business! They have terrible customer service and dont give a damn about the consumer. I had an independent service company come out to take a look, who, by the way did not charge me for the service call, as I had explained the situation to them. He checked it out and told me the motherboard would have to be replaced and that it would cost almost as much as I paid for the microwave in the first place. How disappointing that I have been sitting here with a microwave for the past 2 years that doesnt work because I dont exactly have the luxury of being able to just go out and purchase a new one every year or two. Im furious at Samsung for manufacturing such a substandard product and then knowing that it has problems, refused to do any kind of recall or offer to repair at no charge and also SEARS for being so not standing behind what they sell. Cheap labor = cheap materials = cheap products. Truly disgusting!

I purchased a 4 door Samsung refrigerator 18 months ago 01-21-17. The icemaker is defective, per the technician that indicates this is a known issue and not a recall, but basically the water spatters as it fills the ice maker, causing frost to build up, and eventually freezing the fan. This leads to melting of the ice and re-freezing and more frost and eventually locks up the entire ice maker. In some cases the ice builds up so quickly that you cant get the ice drawer out. This is not a gasket or seal issue. The issue is caused by a poorly designed water filling process that eventually fails, so if you want to piss away $2800 buy this RF23J9011SR piece of junk.

Samsung refuses to honor warranty. 4 door refrigerator RF23J9011SG/AA. [ New ] As a loyal user of Samsung products from 3 tvs, 3 phones, and 2 refrigerators I expected when I purchased my beautiful 4 door refrigerator that I would enjoy the same top quality that I have always had with Samsung products. After less than two years of service, my 4 door refrigerator, that cost over $3,000 has developed an issue. The bottom (Freezer section) is working fine but the top (fridge) section is now hot. Since the warranty on the compressor and associated parts is 5 years I thought that, although anything can have an issue, Samsung would honor the warranty to repair the unit. They did agree to send a technician out to look at the refrigerator so I was pleased that they would honor their warranty. The interesting part is that the technician only removed the inside panel at the back of the fridge to inspect the coil and fan area. The only test that he did was to unplug a temp sensor and plug one in that he brought to see if the compressor would kick on, which it did not. He also took some pictures of the inside of the fridge and sent them in, he said, to a Samsung technician who, in turn from some unknown location determined that the problem is Environmental because of a small section of copper tubing at the top of the coil has some green corrosion on it (Not the Coil itself). I was confused because this is what copper does when exposed to moisture (inside the fridge) and air. The technician told me that he was not sure but that is what Samsung said. He then removed the panels covering the electronics on the back of the fridge, tested absolutely nothing other than seeing if the LED lights were on and then told me there was nothing that he could do because it is from an environmental problem. The problem with this theory is, #1 copper turns green when exposed to air and moisture, very common and expected. Secondly, if it were an environmental issue then the copper lines on the back of the unit leading to the compressors (there are 2, one for freezer, one for fridge) would be corroded since they are ACTUALLY exposed to the Environment and off course, they are not corroded but look absolutely new. Fast forward today, one week later, and I paid Mr. Appliance to come out and actually diagnose the fridge issue. The problem is that there is an issue with the compressor. And, as I expected, they told me that the idea of environmental issues causing this is absolutely ridiculous. They did, however kindly offer me an estimate of almost $1,000 to repair it. Very disappointed with Samsungs handling of this situation, by the attitude of the tech they sent out, it almost seems as though they intended to find any reason possible not to honor their own warranty.

Purchased a Samsung RF25HMEDBSR/AA new a few years ago. Since it was new, the fridge has had an issue where it builds ice blocks up the coils until it freezes the fan in place. The frozen fan and coils results in the fridge failing and food spoiling. Approximately once every three months since this fridge was purchased I have had to take it apart and manually de-ice everything.I reported the issue to Samsung and was set up with a date a service provider was supposed to show up. They never came so I contacted Samsung again and was informed that due to where I live there are no authorized Samsung repair shops. They cancelled my open ticket and told me if I wanted it fixed Id have to contact someone on my own and front the bill. Lessons learned: Do not buy this fridge, it has serious issues with being able to defrost (I should note- I live in northern WI, not an hot and humid climate). Do not support Samsung, they will not stand by their product.

Called customer service they said to wait another one month for another repairer!!! So 2 months with no refrigerator! After 2 months the repairer came and said that he cannot do anything the refrigerator is broken and cannot be fixed. In one year brand new refrigerator cannot be fixed! Also we bought a electric gas range which was not fitting by size together with another Samsung appliance. I requested to return the electric range and they didn’t returned my money! I called multiple times and been told that because I returned just one piece from my order they cannot refund me for the electric range!!! So out of 3000$ for the refrigerator and out of 1700$ for the electric range!!! They don’t answer to emails and on phone calls put me on hold for 2-3 hours and then just hang out!
