I purchased 3 #Samsung appliances from a BIG Box Store #LOWES. DO NOT DO THAT, they do NOT service their appliances. ALL 3 pieces (which one has been in use LESS than 8 weeks) have a malfunction, from NOT working AT all, to the electronics board on the stove/oven working on & off. The manufacturer expects me to wait up to 2 weeks for repair service. OR I can PAY for the repair myself they said. These appliances have not been in use for 4 months yet & they do NOT WORK properly. LOWES only honors returns for 90 days, I am 20 some days too late, & #LOWES will not service them either, BUT I STILL HAVE to PAY LOWES for broken appliances. Their CS sucks! They could care less they sold me some lemons. The appliance repair company 15 minutes from me, will NOT service the appliances because they said #Samsung will NOT PAY THEM enough to cover their costs, UNACCEPTABLE! DO NOT BUY #Samsung appliances.

I purchased a Samsung dishwasher in Jan 2014 model #DW80F600UTB/Aa - Do not buy this!!! First off it never dried the dishes then approx 6 month later it would stop in mid cycle blinking lights on panel. After a long hard researching & calling Samsung I was told the issue was the turbidity sensor, I replaced that & it worked for about 3 months. Then it started the same thing, now I am told its the main control panel.. (no I did not get extended warranty). I just got that part but unfortunately the part was bad so I have to send it back for a new one. The bottom line - do not buy this dishwasher. Its horrible. You should stick with G.E. - at least they stand behind their products.

Model #: RF261BEAEBC/AA (French Door, Freezer on Bottom, NO ice or water dispensers in the door). I have had to call Samsung services and repair four (4) times for my Samsung Refrigerator in the first thirteen (13) months of operation. Every call has been about the ice maker. I escalated this recurring issue to the executive review board (or whatever they call it) stating that I must have a defective refrigerator (or least a defective ice maker). I said they need to address this issue by replacing the whole refrigerator or issue a recall of some parts or something because this is just not acceptable. The response I got back from Samsung is that this is not cause for any special consideration and that normal repair and service should continue. Their response is what really bothers me. I mean I fully understand that if you make thousands of appliances (or cars or whatever), there will be a couple that will be defective. I have no problem with that - just own up to it and resolve the issue for good. I also understand that no matter how much you test sometimes things can be missed. I have had cars recalled for certain issues, you take your car to the dealer, they resolve the issue (no cost to you) and all is good. I mean it is very weird for them to think that four (4) service requests in first thirteen (13) months of operation is not cause for alarm or at least a closer inspection.I actually talked to the last repairman that came out to fix the problem. He said that he sees a lot of repairs on certain models of Samsung Refrigerators that was/is related to frozen water line for the ice makers. So much so that Samsung did a recall and replaced the heating element (or whatever) to keep ice from forming in water line to the ice maker. He said it was a different model than mine and hence no recall for my specific model number.I suspect that this is the issue for me as well, as water is not making it to the ice tray. I could be wrong though and freely admit something else could be the issue. With this type of customer service, it will make me seriously consider any Samsung products in the future. I am not upset so much with an appliance that has issues. Hey, I dont like it and wish otherwise, but the stick-my-head-in-the-sand-and-hope-this-goes-away attitude from Samsung is really bothersome.

Purchased our first Samsung fridge Feb 2012. 20 minutes after delivery, we noticed a cracked shelf. It took numerous calls and 3 months to get the correct shelf. In the meantime, they had sent 2 wrong shelves and a freezer door handle as a replacement part. In the spring of 2014, our fridge started to freeze up. It took almost 3 months to get it repaired. Again in November of 2014, the same issue arose about freeze up and the temperature settings were no longer readable. They (our retailer, Future Shop) finally replaced the unit. Two weeks in, yes you guessed it, water under the crisper drawers and freezing again. The unit was replaced (by Future Shop?) and a new one shipped to us. Two weeks later with the new one, the same issue has come again! Can this company not get it right?Through all of this, Future Shop has been a stand up company. They have looked after us wonderfully! We contacted Samsung and they said via email: we are not aware of any issues with our refrigerators. Perhaps they should read their online reviews??? We went back to our retailer today and they are replacing it yet again. This time however, we selected a Frigidaire! Enough with the Samsung product.

My refrigerator is only 2 years old. Last December, a repair was done, but it was never finished because they never came back. So now the same repair people can now finish it because I had the same problem: ice forming in the freezer, but also the icemaker broke. The first repair was for a defective defrost part. So now I had to pay for an icemaker as the first time the guy broke the insulation. So now when they come back, I have to pay for a part he broke! That’s a good one! But never again will I buy any Samsung brand. I learned my lesson. This product was only one-year-old when I had problems with it. What junk!

I purchased this dishwasher from The Bay in July 2017, as it matched my other dark SS appliances. I could not install it until May 2018. Worked great until November 2018. Then we heard a grinding noise in the middle of a cycle. At first we thought it was the water wall arm. Was have since determined it is the Drain pump. Nothing has been caught in the drain that we can access. I live in a remote part of BC on the coast where I travel by ferry. It is impossible to get a Service guy to come here, have been waiting 3 weeks now. I called Samsung 4 times asking if they would at least pay for the cost of a new pump which is about $150. They said NOT UNDER WARRANTY. Go figure a $1,000 dishwasher doesnt last 6 months after install. My previous 20 year old Kenmore worked and is still working when I gave it to my parents. PLEASE DO BYPASS ANY SAMSUNG DISHWASHER PURCHASE. You will have nothing but problems within a short period of time.

This is a huge french style fridge with freezer in the bottom and water/ice in the door. This has double doors with lots of space in each door and tons of shelf space inside. We love this fridge. It has worked great for years, but does have 2 flaws that can be dealt with. The fridge temp rises and it has iced over in the center back vent. The cover must be removed and ice melted then move the thermo coupler down and uncovered to stop refreezing. In addition, the ice maker freezes up. Just remove the tray and blow with hair dryer. Even with flaws we love this fridge.

Now I got a code symbol C-F0 and the oven only goes to 175 degrees and the code comebacks again. I follow the book instructions but nothing works. I can not believe that Samsung is selling appliances that last less than 2 years.

We purchased the WaterWall dishwasher, three rack on March 22/2016. But we did not have it delivered until mid May because we didn’t move into our house until then. We actually paid 999.00 for it. Up until 6 weeks ago we had no problems with it. We are a retired couple with no children in our home. I would load and use the dishwasher about every 2-3 days. Being only two of us, it wasn’t over worked at all. The Famous 7 E code came to our attention. Not knowing a whole lot about the dishwasher I contacted Samsung and basically got told, I had no warranty. To make matters worse I live 3.5 hours from a appliance repair company. Knowing we could not afford a call out fee for someone to travel to and from our home never mind the cost of the repair, we decided after reading so many complaints about this model we would buy a different brand. It would be cheaper in the long run. My only concern is that if youre going to buy a major appliance. Do your homework and look it up on the reviews. I wish I had done mine and I definitely wouldn’t have bought this machine.

I like the way the refrigerator looks, but the icemaker has been a constant headache. It ices up every couple of weeks. My repairman gave me a quote of $700 to replace it. I have to remove the box, get a hairdryer out to melt the accumulated ice dam. My neighbor has the same refrigerator and has the same problem. Ice makers have been around for a long time. I cant figure out why this is such a problem.

We have model RF4287HWP/XAA. The touch panel constantly becomes inactive. Its been replaced several times. The ice maker has broken (twice). And now its constantly leaking water. We bought the Asurion protection plan but they cant come out until next week. So every few hours were replacing towels around the fridge to soak up the water. Its ruined a rug. And Home Depot, who sold us the protection plan, isnt able to help. We USED to have a shut off valve for the water going into the ice maker. But during the last repair it seems it was removed. So we pay thousands for an appliance, buy the protection plan, and then have to put up with it constantly breaking and poor customer service. Really? Because were not billionaires we have to take this crap? Whats the alternative?

Wow. Look at all these reviews. Same **, different user. I have the same microwave that everyone is complaining about here. This microwave has always been noisy (really noisy) and the keypad hard to use. We bought it to replace a Kenmore microwave that was over 20 years old (like our fridge), but still working. Now, we are getting the common SE problem; no amount of beating, unplugging, cursing, or other trickery will coax it into working. I went with this one because it looked great with our Frigidaire cooktop and oven, and I did not care for the styling of the Frigidaire micro. What a crock! Appliances should last. The oven that gave up and had to be replaced was a Magic Chef from 1966. Show me an appliance from a contemporary manufacturer that lasts over 50 years these days. Not gonna happen. I did expect to get more than 2 years out of a $300 microwave, however. I lust the Samsung fridges, but I will have to get over it and see if Kenmore can provide one with the same features when I need that, because I will not be getting a Samsung. I have a phone (4 years old) that will need replacing soon, and the iPhone is looking pretty good. Now, I’m glad we went with another manufacturer for the recently purchased TV, judging from the tales of customer service listed on the site. We will try the panel repair tonight, but I am sure the Magnetron will bite it soon, according to the others. So it will be a matter of time before I have to purchase another microwave, not a Samsung this time, no matter how sexy it is.

Purchased the Samsung French door refrigerator in mid-July 2014 (model #RF217ACRS/XAA) from HOME DEPOT and in mid-November 2014, while still under warranty, it stopped working completely and is currently sitting in my kitchen. I called the Samsung 800-726-7864 number on 11/6 to report the failure and ask for service. The woman I spoke to asked me to describe the problem which was that even though the digital readings at the top said the frig was 38F and the freezer was -2F, the food in the freezer had thawed and all items in the frig were warm. I asked for service and she gave me a transaction number (which I recorded) and said a technician would call within 24 hours. On 11/7 no call came in, so I called the service Center at 800-905-9505. They had no repair order for me and told me to call 800-726-7864, which I did and spoke to Frank, who said he would schedule the service and gave me a confirmation number. On 11/8, no technician called so I called the service number again. Again, I was told by Angel, no service order had been created. I went to the website and began an online chat with Vance ** who gave me more numbers (which I recorded) and referred me back to the 800-726-7864. After the chat they asked me to fill out a survey, which I was so happy to do and related the above travails. I then called the 800-726-7864 number again and got a recording that the line was closed for the weekend. On Sunday, 11/9, Samsung employee called and reviewed the previous transactions. She didnt know why the service had not been scheduled and scheduled it for me for Monday, 11/11 between 1-5 p.m. (ticket # **). To double check, I called the 800-905-9505 number to see if they had the order and they did. Monday morning at 8:33 a.m., I received a message from Jason at the service center canceling the appointment as his technicians were ill and was told to call the 800-905-9505 number and reschedule. The repair is currently schedule for Thursday, 11/12 between 8 a.m.-12 p.m. Well see if they show up and if so, what the repair is likely to be. Based on the reviews of these Samsung products I have read here, I am not optimistic that this product will every operate correctly. I would be very interested in joining with others about actions that can be taken to remedy this complete failure to back their products or provide customer service.

I am an Appliance Specialist for a large national appliance store and I always tell my customers the truth. I am a believer of Samsung refrigerators, ranges, otr microwaves and washer and dryers but I always warn my customers about Samsung dishwasher service issues. Im pretty sure that the salesperson that sold most of you a Samsung dishwasher mentioned that they were crap. With so many choices for dishwashers, you should have looked at Bosch first, Kitchen aid secondly then, LG, Whirlpool, GE and Frigidaire in that order. Leaving Samsung at the bottom. So anyone reading this post, please listen to your Appliance Specialist and avoid the frustration of repairing a Samsung dishwasher and please have confidence in the other Samsung appliances that are available.

Purchased this model 2.5 years ago - have had issues with ice maker ever since. Do your research, issues with Samsung and ice makers (especially this unit) are all over the internet. The ice making function is pretty much so useless. On mine, like so many others (thousands) freezes up, literally turns into a block of ice. Overall, great design and functionality, however, for $2k I expect the ice maker to work.Samsung refuses to take any accountability, as a result, major class action lawsuit is underway by law firms and thousands of consumers to get them to do the right thing for their customers. Its all online, do your research. While I have owed and been quite happy with a number of Samsung Plasma TVs and LCDs, their responsiveness to this serious product issue with ice makers is nothing short of shameful. I had hoped to get it repaired, but a reputable (and Samsung certified warranty service) indicated that even after spending $500 on parts and labor, the problem will most likely continue. So, after spending $2k on this thing, and 2 1/2 years later, I will be buying a new refrigerator/freezer. And, as a result, I will never purchase another Samsung product again. Never. Do your own research, and look elsewhere.

I redid my kitchen in 2015, so I needed all new appliances. I loved how the Samsung 4 door French door refrigerator looked and I researched and others seemed to love it...clearly, they didnt wait a year after to review. A year later, it stopped cooling. I had just made a Costco run so both the fridge and freezer were at max capacity. All that food had to be tossed. I called Samsung and they sent someone out a couple days later. It was a fuse that blew out, literally took him 15 minutes to fix. Fast forward to 2017, the fridge makes a loud humming noise like a plane taking off and water drips from the water/ice dispenser...found the problem online. It is a known design flaw. The back freezes up, so that is the humming noise. I look online and everyone says to thaw out the fridge. Ok, I do that and reload all the food...again. A few months later it happens again, however, this time the ice maker is also so frozen that no ice dispenses...oh, and the water STILL leaks out. I research...again, known flaw, but this time its the rubber seal isnt tight enough. So, thaw out the fridge. Again this works for oh...about a month. Then it happens again. I literally just defrosted it again 2 days ago because everything was frozen up. Today it is humming LOUDLY. I will NEVER EVER purchase another appliance from Samsung. There is a class action lawsuit pending concerning these issues, FYI. Unfortunately, I also have a dishwasher and washer/dryer. So far, so good on those appliances. Do NOT purchase a Samsung appliance. Period.

Our Side-by-Side fridge stopped working about a month ago. I called Samsung and they offered me a 1 year warranty (which I thought was odd since the fridge was 4 years old). So I accepted, and they referred me to a local repair shop, A&E Factory Service in San Antonio, TX, which by the way is no good as well! The technician came out and said 4 parts needed to be ordered. Only 2 parts came in. Tech ordered other 2 parts. Only one part came in. I HAD to follow up with the Tech, with his company and with Samsung to get that 4th part ordered! Parts finally came in, and the fridge was repaired. Following week, fridge is not working again. A&E sends a Sears tech and says compressor is out of refrigerant (possible leak). He fills refrigerant and leaves before the fridge even shows that it is cooling. Fortunately it did. 2 weeks later (which is today 11/13/13), the fridge is not working again. I call Samsung and get transferred 5 different times because they cant give me a correct department to speak with. In the end, hopefully my fridge gets fixed. I decided to buy a backup the 2nd time around in case this would happen again (which today is the 3rd time). Im pretty sure they are just going to send another tech who seems like they do not know what they are doing and dont make the effort to ensure the fridge gets fixed for good. SO dont buy a fridge from a company who makes TVs and phones, lets put it that way. The model number of my fridge is #RS277ACBP/XAA. That was $1500 down the drain. Dont let the LED lights fool you in front of the fridge and drag you in because you think it looks fancy. Samsungs warranty is no good, their customer service is no good, and the contractors they send to come repair your fridge is no good.

I purchased this beautiful refrigerator RF4287HA. After 13 months, an error code showed up on the display. I called Samsung and they sent out a repair service. When this particular one was made, the assembly line forgot to put the protective plastic cover over one of the sensors which allowed the sensor to drop down and be cut off by the smaller plastic drawer in the freezer. Repairman said we should get our money back for the service repair since this was a defect when this one was made (even though it was about 5 weeks over the 1-year warranty).Basically, somebody did not do their job when our refrigerator was made. After 4 calls to Samsung, they told us to send a statement from the repairman and they would refund our service call fee. After 2 months, a message was left that it was not going to be refunded. I talked with the service rep and he said, Sorry, its not going to happen. I assured him that I would make sure everyone I come in contact with would know what kind of company Samsung is. This time, a new ice maker was ordered and installed. Immediately after this call, a single click could be heard maybe once an hour. Call the company and they say No problem. Take everything out of the trash and itemize it. Three weeks later, they say Oh sorry youre out of warranty. Really, a $2000 unit has only a one year warranty? Company is NO good!!!

I not only dont recommend this product, but I also would suggest that you avoid Samsung products altogether. We purchased a dryer with matching washer and have had multiple problems with them. After six technician visits we still dont have a fully working washer or dryer and to make things worse they have told us we need to pay if we want another technician visit. I sent the following email to Samsungs supposed executive customer relations department as well as directly to the Samsung US CEO, it was completely ignored by them.Up until just recently I have been a huge fan of Samsung products. I have owned or currently own monitors, mobile phones, washers, dryers, and TVs. I have been a loyal customer but my most recent purchase has me awestruck. About four months ago we purchased a SmartCare VRT laundry set. The day after it was installed we woke to find our home with a strong smell of gas. I determined it was coming from the laundry room and suspected the laundry appliance installation was at fault. We called Samsung for service and a technician was sent out. The technician investigated the gas leak and informed me that the gas lines to our new home were leaking and not one of the Samsung appliances. I called the gas company and when they arrived they found that there was a gas leak, but it wasn’t in the house lines. It was coming from the dryer. We called Samsung a second time. When the technician performed the second appointment he acknowledged that the dryer was leaking and scheduled another appointment to replace the faulty part. Three visits from the Samsung technician and finally we get a working dryer after two weeks. A few months later my wife started complaining about the washer stopping and throwing an error in the middle of hot water loads. After it happened a few times I told her to call Samsung for repair. The technician came out and spent about thirty minutes with the washer. He eventually called me in and told me that it has hot water and that there wasn’t much he could do. I informed the technician that when my wife pointed out the issue I recalled an error message “4C” being displayed when the wash would stop functioning and constantly beep with the error message. After basically living with a washer that won’t use hot water cycles for a couple of weeks my wife noticed that the dryer wasn’t drying clothes normally. We called Samsung again and informed them that our washer was still malfunctioning and now the dryer was not working well either. This time before the appointment I spent a couple of hours recording video on my phone of the 4C error and erratic behavior of the washer. The next day the technician arrived and spent about fifteen minutes with the dryer. The technician informed me that we shouldn’t use specific features (smart features like auto dry) on our dryer and that we should use timed dry. I was told that although the dryer had some warmth that there is heat so the dryer is working fine but at no time did the technician check the temperature with, how does he know if it’s getting up to proper temperature? Yeah, the dryer gets warm but not hot, in fact not even close to hot. When I mentioned the washer and show the technician the video of the malfunction, I was told it wasn’t on the work order and even though we called for service for it and had video of the malfunction that it could not be looked at because it wasn’t on the service order. Tonight, I followed the technician’s instructions and used the time dry to dry a handful of clothes. After one hour the clothes on high heat with eco dry turned off the clothes were still quite wet. The dryer clearly doesn’t work as it did a month ago. The technician also recommended cleaning our ducts but seriously it’s a six-month-old home and my wife does maybe three loads a week for two people, so the equipment is hardly being overworked much less should I have a duct problem. I also noticed that my wife is very good about cleaning the dryer lint catcher. She does it every load from what I see. I hate to ramble on but as you can see this has been nothing less than an adventure and a complete waste of my time not to mention the time off from work involved in six technician visits that didn’t result in our appliances being fixed. I recently posted all this information to the Samsung Facebook page and it was completely ignored for a week which is simply insulting at this point.

We have had a Samsung refrigerator with French doors and all the bells and whistles for 4 years. During that time we have had 3 major issues, first with a lead into the bottom of the refrigerator and now the ice compartment freezes up and has to be unfrozen with a hair dryers, AND, worse, the fan motor freezes up and the refrigerator makes a horrible unbearably sound until I thaw out the ice in the back of the refrigerator again with a hair dryer. Only then does it decide whether or not the refrigerator part will keep cooling--usually it takes a few hours. We have had it with Samsung. Each time we called Samsung and it took a week for them even to call back, and then to tell us they didnt have a service person in our area. We are getting rid of this refrigerator. We had it for four years at our second home, so that we only used it 6 months each year. We did not get the extended warranty because we were warned by locals that we would have to wait weeks for service by Samsung even with a warranty. Looks like they were right. If you look online, youll see many consumers have had the same problems.

Design flaw in Samsung refrigerator model RF28HDEDBSR - Very Poor Quality. Purchased on 5/20/15. On 2/15/17, the fridge part iced over behind a plastic panel and stopped working. Something is wrong with the design. It makes a horrible noise when the fan is hitting the ice before it quits. On 8/7/17, it stopped working again after service for this problem on 6/26/17. The replacement part is on back-order! We wish we didnt buy this refrigerator.

NO! This company does not stand behind its products. I used to like this company. I will never buy another product from Samsung. We sent in our proof of purchase, we made many phone calls and they said it was cosmetic and not covered. This product is embarrassing in my kitchen. Korean Krap. I have a Samsung fridge that constantly has fluids in the veggie bins and underneath them. At times it will freeze then thaw and has cracked one of the bins. The company has received a repair ticket in Aug. 2014 and I am still getting the run around about a refund for literally way under price paid ($2300+) just shy of $600 and they keep assuring me someone from a higher-up dept. will contact me today every time I call (they did have a office of the PRESIDENTS contact me but again empty assurance) and just press in extensions till I receive a live person. I have health issues that only allow me to eat organic produce and I cant keep them in the fridge so my health now is struggling and the company is well aware of this and offered a $300 dollar food refund for Aug. till now, but again I havent seen a penny just promises and transfers and the customer service (refund dept.) are rude and has told me I need to pull the fridge out to cut the cord send them a certified package with it and then in 14 Business Days they will issue tour refund but it can take 7-10 business days for it to clear. I would steer CLEAR of Samsung if I were you. Its not worth the frustration they will put you through!

I cant describe how horrible experience I have with Samsung product, lets begin, in 2013 I bought Samsung French door refrigerator ( RFG297HDRS/XAA) from Best Buy and I paid extra for extended warranty (which I found out it is not extended warranty. It is duplicated warranty). Now in 2016 it is broke down. I talked to Samsung few times. There is no authorized repair center close by and they had to talk to Sears Service but make long story short the estimate of repair is around $600 maybe even more for replacing control board. I recommend to stay with common brand like Whirlpool or Kenmore, Amman instead of paying more for some foreign brand which it cost a lot to repair plus they have very short life.

We strongly feel that Samsung should stick to making cell phones. We bought our refrigerator (as well as a Samsung d/w) from Sears about three years ago and we are already at the point of having to replace the fridge. We are not AT ALL happy about having to cough up the money again after spending $1600 the first time on what turns out to be a piece of junk that has given us nothing but problems. The last repair person who came out to fix it through our home warranty program (because Samsungs warranty expired the week before we had our first major issue with the appliance) said that he worked almost exclusively on Samsungs because they are what the vast majority of his service calls are about. That was eye opening!

Pulled the bucket out to find large ice over on the ice maker itself. Since then, every 2 weeks we have to manually defrost our ice maker. About a month ago it started leaking water out of the water/ice dispenser. Now we have to wipe the floor and collection tray numerous times a day. This also includes inside under the crisper bins where water collects. I have contacted Samsung on more than 1 occasion. 0/10, would not recommend to anyone for either product or customer service.

In 2011 we purchased a Samsung model # DMT800RHS dishwasher. It required 2 service calls within the 1st year: once because we had to keep flipping the breaker to get it to turn on and once for a problem with the control panel. The racks are held together with plastic clips. The top rack has two positions. After only 2 years, many of the plastic clips are broken, and now the rack will not stay in the up position. One of the rungs (which is also held together with plastic clips) will not stay in the upright position because of the broken clips. We also purchased an electric range and French door refrigerator. We have had one service call on the range. So far the only appliance that has not needed service is the refrigerator. I would not recommend Samsung appliances at all. And I will absolutely never purchase a Samsung again.

We have purchased a four door Samsung refrigerator which in less than a year of usage the refrigerator section no longer was cooling. Called Samsung Customer Service and after spending 45 min on the phone I was transferred to the Executive Customer Relations only to answer a myriad of questions that were already answered during the first call and supposedly documented in the service ticket. The Executive Customer Relations could not provide much assistance except for providing the names of two Samsung approved service centers; however, conveniently forgot to provide a service to be provided to the service center. Therefore, when I placed the call to the Service center I was informed that without that number they cannot assist.Called Samsung again, only to go through the same process described above and waste another good hour on the phone to obtain the service ticket number. Called the Service Center and 48 hours later, a technician showed up; however, due to the size and location of the refrigerator he could not assess what needed to be done. He placed a call to the Service Center to re-scheduled the repair and at the end he informed me that he is going to be on site on the following week on Wednesday at 8 AM along with his supervisor **.Wednesday came and at 8:30 AM I called ** to see what time hell be on site only to be informed that hell be in at 10AM. At 10:30 I called their center and was informed that they will not be in till 11AM. They showed up at 11:30AM. The unit was checked by an experienced technician, not Samsung, and later on he provided me with the technical bulletin from Samsung showing that this unit has two independent compressors and it is Not-serviceable; however, the Samsung service technician said that they can fix it. After they checked the refrigerator, both technicians agreed that the unit cannot be fixed.

DO NOT BUY! DO NOT BUY! FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, DO NOT BUY THIS DISHWASHER! My wife and I purchased this dishwasher in February 2014. It lured us in with its beautiful looks and promise of quiet operation. For nine months this dishwasher worked flawlessly. It cleaned our dishes well and you could never tell this thing was in operation when it was running. During the first week of November we got an LE code and the dishwasher shut down. The manual told us to cut the power to it and call Samsung for service. It took two weeks to get a technician to our house and he had to order a new control module and a new leak sensor. Apparently LE is the fault code for leak. When the Technician replaced these items the machine started working again. Two days before Thanksgiving the dishwasher stopped working again and was flashing the LE code again. This time it took almost a month for the Technician to get to our house and he couldnt find the leak so he ordered an entire Sump Assembly since Samsung told him this is the only other thing that could be wrong. Christmas Eve, the technician came out and replaced the Sump Assembly and got the machine running again. On New years day, a week after the repair, our dishwasher stopped working again and was displaying this dreaded LE code again. I immediate called Samsung and they scheduled the repair man to arrive for another repair today but the machine started working again yesterday (assuming the water leak dried up) and the repair tech called Samsung to explain to them the situation. Samsung told the repair tech since he couldnt recreate the problem theyre not going to recognize there was a problem and they were not going to pay for the service call. Even the repairman was disgusted with this and called his supervisor to explain the situation and jumped through hoops to find a way to keep us from paying for the service call. He even called the store we bought the machine from and explained the situation to them which lead to the store telling me to bring this piece of junk in to them tomorrow and theyll give me a new machine of equal value and different brand name.I went online and entered the model number of this dishwasher in google and I am in shock from the amount of complaints I see about this dishwasher and theyre all the same complaint. That LE code and the inability to get it fixed and Samsung refusing to do anything more than toss new parts at it. This dishwasher is in need to be recalled but Samsung will not acknowledge it. PEOPLE PLEASE!!! DO NOT BUY THIS DISHWASHER! There needs to be a class action lawsuit brought up against this company. Also everyone that has been ripped off by this company needs to simply contact the Federal Trade Commission and make them aware of this Samsung sponsored con game being ran on American consumers.

Dishwasher with water wall - It started to be defective a couple of months
Dishwasher with water wall - It started to be defective a couple of months after purchase (stopped working and showed a message on the top of the door to indicated what the problem was). Got repaired. But since at first, the problem was sometimes present and sometimes it was okay, they told me it could not be repaired and I would have to pay for the visit if when he comes, he cannot see the problem. So I had to wait for it to be defective all the time for them to repair it. This happened after a month since the beginning of the problems. One year later was defective again but this time more than one problem had to be addressed. The pump had a problem. The water wall isnt moving so the dishes that are on the lower part are not washed. And the motor had to be changed (I dont know if this is the same thing as the pump). And I had to wait a whole month for the parts to be available so these problems had to wait. Then someone came and repaired, or tried to repair. The motor or pump works better, it doesnt make that weird noise anymore, but the water wall isnt repaired, the repair didnt work. So the water wall will have been defective for a month and a half if this time he is able to repair it, or longer if he is still not able to repair it.The extended warranty applies only if the same part is broken three times, not if one part is defective, then later another part is defective and so on. Also the extended warranty can apply if in the end the dishwasher will not be repaired, but how long will I have to wait for them to decide they end the trying to repair period of time? Also, this time they will probably replace the same part that had been replaced during the first year of warranty. But since it happened during the first year of warranty, it will not count for the extended warranty that started at the end of the first year. So even if the part is replaced a third time, the first time will not count. In other words, there is not much chance that my dishwasher that is always defective will be replaced. I am stuck with it. I will never buy a Samsung product again. This is a shame, it is always defective and all this time waiting for a repair wastes time of my warranty since nothing is happening. They should replace it after three problems, not three times the same part broken. And they should extend the warranty during this whole month when I am waiting for it to be repaired. It was an expensive dishwasher. What a waste of money.

Samsung microwave SMH9187ST - We experienced the error over the weekend (lots of fun having beeping coming from an unknown place in the house at 3 AM); unplugged and plugged back in in the morning, but it only worked for a couple hours before the SE error and beeping starting again. UGH... I am not brave enough to pull open the unit on my own, so I called Samsung and initial support told me they could do a service call at my expense where the unit is out of warranty. I stood my ground and politely reminded the service rep of how many errors are noted for this unit online, the commitment of Samsung to address the issue, and that numerous other owners have had this service provided for free - even for out of warranty units. After some further holding I was transferred to the Executive Service Center where the rep. agreed to cover the cost of the service call and repair provided it is in fact the touchpad that needs to be replaced. If the issue is something else (highly unlikely), I would own the cost. Seemed reasonable so I agreed. I am now pending a call from a local service vendor to schedule the work. The kill em with kindness approach worked well in getting them to work with me and cover the cost of the repair. Overall this has been a pretty reliable unit for the past 3 years. I just dont get why they dont do a full recall if this is going to happen with every unit eventually.

We bought this condo in October. The first time I tried to use the oven (to cook a turkey) I set the oven temperature to 350. Hours later the turkey was barely cooked. I raised the temperature to about 400 and eventually it cooked. I then bought an oven thermometer and used it the next time I wanted to cook something in the oven. To get to 350 degrees I have to set the temperature to 425. To get to 375 I set it to 450 or so. The indicator light indicates the temperature to which Ive set it but the oven doesnt heat up to where Ive set it. Since the range is out of warranty Samsung wants me to call a service technician. What Ive read about this problem online suggests its either the sensor or thermostat thats at fault. Ive asked for the part number for the sensor and thermostat for my model - and they cant even give me that. I dont want to pay for a service call only to be charged labor and an inflated price for the part since my husband is an electrician and can likely do the repair himself at a much lower cost.By the way, this condo came with a Samsung dishwasher and over-the-range microwave oven. The first time we used the dishwasher it didnt work, so we called the only service tech around who deals with Samsung appliances and $115 later he said the repairs would cost about $360 (he admitted the problem here is quite common with the Samsung dishwashers). For about $400 I bought a new Frigidaire dishwasher and have had no problems since. The Samsung microwave oven works but sometimes the same amount of water heats to hot and sometimes just to very warm when set to the same cooking time.My conclusion: Samsung kitchen appliances are absolutely worthless. My Samsung Fridge Model #RS265TDRS started acting up after about a one year. I noticed our milk spoiled prematurely along with other items in the fridge. I remember hearing the fan in the fridge sound louder than usual just a couple of days prior to this. It appears the coils have froze up with ice causing the fan to ice up also stopping it from spinning causing a domino affect. I will have to locate the receipt and upload at a later time. I see this is a very very common problem with Samsung. This was not a cheap fridge and to be having this issue this early is ludicrous. The refrigerator was purchased 8 years ago. It was replacing a 30 year old General Electric that still worked but was not “energy” efficient. Shortly after the warrant (1 year) ended, the vegetable and fruit bins froze up. The temperature kept warming and all the food in the freezer and refrigerator had to be thrown away. The worth was about $200. I called for repairs and was told I had to use specific Samsung warranty repairman. The repairs were not covered but some of the parts were. Since then, I have had to have it repaired at least 5 times and have lost 100s of dollars in food. I finally purchased a small GE for the garage to move the food when the fridge shows signs of failing. I have written, emailed and called Samsung several times and have not received any satisfaction! Purchased this RF267AERS fridge in 2012 and the nightmare began almost right away. The fridge was making a loud noise that would stop once the doors were opened. Called for support but since the fridge was out of warranty by 6 months, they would do nothing! This was an expensive model and is a piece of crap. Apparently plenty of people have the same problem with this model. The back wall freezes up and the fan blade hits the ice so if you do not unplug and melt the ice, you risk ruining the cooling fans. What a pain in the neck trying to store food and spending all that time to have the fridge freeze right back up every six months. This month, I have already defrosted it twice and it looks like I am going to have to do it again. All they say is there is no recall. THERE SHOULD BE!!!!!!!!! No other help or advice is given. We have had 4 repairs, with a 5th one scheduled, for this horrible noise that sounds like a B52 bomber taking off (just 2 months after purchasing) followed by a defective solenoid supposedly because the repairman could not figure what else it could be because the computer showed no problem even though it would take days for the ice maker to make ice. Then again in November and in January 2013, when the noise continued and the ice maker would shoot ice out 30 feet all on its own followed by not working at all and noise still continuing, another repair. Then again, another horrid noise. We called the company again. They scheduled the service call and when the repairman showed, Samsung said that there were no previous repairs and that it did not warrant any replacement or refund. This past March 2013, they kept their repairman on the phone for 2 hours and we also were on the phone. They kept passing the buck. Lowes isnt any better. They washed their hands of anything after 30 days. I am checking with my lawyer now. No one, and I mean no one, should buy from Samsung. They are horrible and do not stand by their warranty. Run from this and all of their products as fast as you can.

I came home from work, and there is a number 1 and an E flashing. I got out the manual which says to unplug for 10 minutes. I did it and plugged back in; same thing. I called the 1-800-samsung and was told Sorry, your 1-year warranty was up on the end of November. I had purchased the fridge, their stove, dishwasher, and microwave all from Sears in Chesterfield, MO. I spent a lot of money. The French-door fridge with bottom-mount freezer was the most expensive piece. I wish I would have looked at the complaints on their products before purchasing. The customer service said only that We are so sorry. over and over but that they will send a repair at their convenience and I will have to pay. it is out of warranty, they added. I said Samsung must know their product will surely fail after the first year is out. Again, I was told I am so sorry. Would you like to schedule a repairman? Please, if anyone is even remotely considering a product of Samsung, rethink it. The beautiful stainless steel dents so easily and will only last shortly after your warranty is up. Dont be fooled. The customer service lady said we have a better warranty on our TV. Too bad it isnt my TV. Dont buy Samsung!

My dishwasher would not use the dishwasher packets I was using to wash the dishes. The soap dish flap would open, but the packet would not be used. I call Samsung and their support is the WORST! I got a guy that spoke poor English and probably never saw a dishwasher before. I told him the problem and he told me to clean the dispenser and turn off the circuit breaker. It was a TOTAL waste of time. He asked for the serial number and I gave it to him 3, (YES THREE TIMES), then he told me he was not paying attention when I gave him the number. Then he wanted to know the service provider of my cell phone. What has that got to do with the dishwasher, but he said he needed it. At that point, I knew that Samsung support people were brain dead and I just hung up. I already spend too MUCH time trying to explain the problem and another 4 hours with their support would not have made a difference. I do plan to get rid of my Samsung dishwasher and go back to my Whirlpool. I had a Whirlpool for over 10 years and NEVER had a problem with it. I replaced it because we decided to redo our Kitchen with Stainless appliances and we went with a few Samsung appliances. Now I will never buy Samsung appliances again. My recommendation is if you buy Samsung and need any support you are hosed! You will spend a lot of time on the phone with a moron that does not even know his products and wont know nor care what your problem is. He will read from a list of trouble shooting guides, which may be totally irrelevant to your specific problem. (i.e. your car wont start and the guy tells you to change the tire). One more thing, I asked the support guy for an order number and he told me he got an error code on his computer and could not give it to me. STAY, make that RUN, AWAY from this company!

I purchased the Samsung DMT 300 dishwasher in May, picked up the unit in June, and moved into the house in October. I spent three months trying to get service from Samsung, and then gave up in frustration. Each time we called, we wound up with someone who could only read possible solutions from a list, and gave suggestions such as pre-wash the dishes in the sink first, use high-efficiency laundry detergent, all the new high-efficient washers have this problem. We could never get to anyone who could authorize a service call, or even give us the name of the nearest authorized service company. Once the washer switched into extended warranty mode, we were given the name of a local (50 miles) service company who has offered to come and take a look, but are doubtful that they can help. I will never be buying Samsung in future and if the problem gets fixed, we will be selling it ASAP.

Purchased a French door black stainless refrigerator from Home Depot in 2016. Paid about $4000 for it. The ice maker never really worked well. It leaked constantly causing calcium buildup on the catch tray. Wasn’t too long after that it began to mold around the seal. Eventually it froze up and wouldn’t make ice. I called and it was 2 weeks after year warranty expires. They offered a one time extension. The ice maker was replaced then not even 6 months later I’m having the same issue. I called to complain and was treated poorly. Told they already gave me an extension and asked how long did we expect them to be responsible for my refrigerator, 20 yrs? With sarcasm. Should have bought the LG. Will never buy ANY Samsung products again!

We had this refrigerator for a few months. The ice maker broke so Samsung had someone come out in a few days. He told me because they are made with plastic. So this may be a recurring problem? We dont use that much ice. The service man said it would take 7 days for part and I would have to turn off refrigerator and leave door open for 24 hours. Well 3 weeks later no call. He was late the first appointment. I had to call Samsung so they could find out if he was coming. I asked him how to take the glass out to clean. He said he wouldnt because it would break. So I called Samsung again and said I cant ever clean my refrigerator. After a long wait and them trying to figure it out and talking to supervisor they said they would send me an email with pictures and instructions how to remove without breaking. They said the insurance would cover drawer but not glass. So waited for email and of course never got it. So after 3 holidays with no ice maker I will call Samsung again. Still cant clean all of it. If I would have had a clue I would have bought another brand. I will not by anything Samsung again.

I then called Samsung customer service line and only got a # to call service company. I was told Samsung would only pay for panel but not labor of 170.00. SO I did the online chat with an agent and cut and paste many reviews that were shown here. Then I got another phone number and again explained and was then transferred to service and surprise, service person will come and replace my panel 100% FREE OF CHARGE. I was very calm and polite and explained issues are confirmed by at least 200 other owners of this product. I am please with outcome and happy that Samsung realized that customer service is important.

We bought this refrigerator new on 07/24/2011, and on 03/27/2012 while we were at home we heard water running all of a sudden. We went into the kitchen and water was flowing out of the ice maker. We quickly shut off the water to the house and then moved the unit out and turned off the water at the wall. Because we were there and heard this, we prevented $60k to $70k in water damages. Most of our downstairs flooring is wood. The refrigerator was fixed under warranty by a Samsung contracted service organization. Then again on 08/30/2013, the unit failed again. This time I woke up at 5am and heard the faint noise of water running. I immediately went down stairs and stepped into a LAKE. The entire downstairs of our home was flooded and all the flooring, walls up to 16 and cabinets that were built in were ruined. The bill for all this will definitely be well over $50k. NO one should ever buy a Samsung refrigerator with an ice maker. The new unit failed in 8 months and the Samsung repair only lasted 17 months. This is most definitely a product liability case.

We purchased a brand new Samsung dishwasher when we moved into our house in July of 2012. Within 5 months, there were 5 repairs done under warranty. Within a year, at least 5 more. Finally, one repairman told us the issue AND how to repair it. Samsung was no longer willing to cover any repairs as it was off warranty.Jump ahead to 6 years later and I myself have repaired the machine over 40 times. One of the cords that connects the control panel to the rest of the machine is too short so it gets pulled every time a wash is done. After a few cycles, it disconnects. Just have to remove a few screws and reconnect. We paid $700.00 Canadian, brand new. Samsung was not willing to cover more repairs after a year, refused a return, etc. I have documentation regarding my letters to them, as well as too much time spent on hold waiting for help. I finally just gave up. Washes well, I cannot afford another one at this point. Fed up beyond belief and no one was willing to help us.

In July 2013, we bought a Samsung 3 door refrigerator with drawer for about $2,000.00. There was a manufacturers defect in one of the electrical cords attached to the drawer, which was repaired here. In January 2013, the refrigerator and freezer stopped cooling and freezing, so we called HH Gregg and were automatically connected to Samsung. Samsung did not dispatch a repairman, but instead said someone would get back to us. We waited all day as our food began to spoil, and called HH Gregg local number and asked for a store manager. He told us he would send an email to HH Greggs corporate office, and they would replace the refrigerator, which might take a week, and that another store employee, Beth, would call us back and set us up with a loaner refrigerator. When Beth did not call, we called her, and she said she had no such authority. I asked to speak to the manager again, and she connected me to Jeff, another person, who informed me that the store does not issue loaners and that there would not be a replacement refrigerator from HH Gregg. We called Samsung several times also, and they continued to say that someone would get back to us in 24 to 48 hours. At this point, we regret dealing with HH Gregg, and we regret buying a Samsung. I definitely do not recommend HH Gregg for any reason, and think people should avoid them entirely. As to Samsung, I am stuck with a lemon and will have to deal with their impossibly frustrating and slow customer service for the remainder of the time the refrigerator is under warranty. I have read several horror stories about Samsung, including 7 repairs in 4 years, at **. In summation, HH Gregg sells shoddy merchandise. No refrigerator should break twice in the first 7 months of ownership. Furthermore, HH Gregg does not stand behind its merchandise. Even thought we did not buy an extended warranty, they should take the refrigerator back and give us our money back, so we can buy a working refrigerator.

I have called Samsung numerous times to send someone to look at the refrigerator and see how much rust is on it. This refrigerator is in my home. After being hit with super storm Sandy, I bought five Samsung appliances, each one has flaws. I am so disgusted with owning these products. The quality is very poor. The stove I purchased cooks really well but it is vented from the door. Years ago, the stoves vented from the top and sometimes pan handles burned or were extremely hot. Today, they vent from the door. Now I noticed that the five knobs are all burnt. Since I own the stove for more than a year, it is not covered and they feel this is not a mechanical problem. This is not my fault. It is a defect in the product if it burns the handles. I took out a warranty from Lowes and they say it is not covered under the extended warranty. This is a problem with the way the stove vents - it should be covered under the warranty. I am very unhappy.

Samsung top freezer RT21M62135R, nominally 21 cubic feet, is fairly capacious. Unfortunately the lighting in the refrigerator section is front mounted and everything in the rear disappears into the shadows - keep a flashlight handy. The freezer also has a light, something my prior refrigerator did not have. I really like the slide and reach shelf for deli type items - very convenient. The door storage is a bit inflexible. I ordered the model without an ice maker, they shipped it to me anyway despite my attempt to stop it, which they ignored (customer service in the US is impossible to contact - they switched me to Indonesia (sic)! (Consider that I bought this model for energy efficiency, then they ship something I do not want - pure waste.) Even though they took the door off, the delivery service still managed to put eight dents in the door - too easy to dent.

We remodeled our kitchen in 2011, bought all new appliances, all Samsung, stove, refrigerator, microwave, and dishwasher, on 12/18/2010. There are only the two of us, however I only use it when we have a full load. We rinse our dishes, therefore no smells and I keep it clean. However, it started not finishing the complete normal cycle giving me a s3 code. I had my repairman to look at it ($75). He also had a discussion with online help. We ordered the part ($50). He installed it ($100), still got the same thing and my repairman was told this may not fix it. Then we would have to order a pump, not knowing how much a pump is and $225.00 later and being told this could happen in another 2-4 years. We have bought a new dishwasher, and sure isnt a SAMSUNG. I do expect my appliances to last longer than 4 years.

Our refrigerator stopped cooling so we had an authorized repair person in. At first he thought it was repaired but the same problem occurred 3 and 1/2 months later. He returned and determined that the unit was irreparable. Corrosion was occurring because the upper cooling unit couldnt drain during the defrost cycle. The whole back panel freezes up to the point that the circulating fan hits the ice and makes a horrible sound. Samsung was sent pictures by my repairman and are giving me the run around. I paid well over $2000 for this refrigerator and now it is worthless in just over 2 years of usage. My mother-in-law has a refrigerator in her home that she bought 30 years ago that works better. I purchased 4 Samsung kitchen appliances August 1, 2014 when I moved into my retirement home. Since that time - within the first 18 months, my microwave had 4 service calls. Gratefully, I maintained my Home Warranty protection that was provided for the home and have renewed that warranty annually. The home warranty company ORHP - sent appliance technicians out and a Samsung certified technician who could not repair the microwave. Eventually, after 3 weeks they replaced the microwave with a Samsung upgraded unit. It is still working 2 years later. Now the refrigerator icemaker freezes up and I have to use a hair dryer monthly to defrost the ice build up in the icemaker box. The refrigerator is a French door model that has a flipper on the left door which locks in place that door when closing. It also broke. After reviewing some online videos, I ordered a small tension spring for $8 + shipping, popped the flipper bar apart, replaced the tension spring, and fixed the issue. Now, in September 2018, my dishwasher has broke not allowing the door to close and lock. The repair part is available and easily replaced so I had the home warranty company send out a tech who replaced the part on 9/12/18. On 9/23/18 after loading dishwasher after a BBQ with friends, the same problem re-appeared. To top that off, I recorded the dishwasher while in the rinsing and drying cycle so the tech can hear hit. I re-played the recording for my wife and daughter who thought I went to an airport and recorded a jet taking off or landing...the noise decibel level is high...My Samsung 5 burner stove - I find that the grates are not really safe and worry when the grandkids are at the home. When you put a frying pan or pot on the grates - they wobble until you position them just right. They are not made with enough cross members to support smaller pots or frying pans. On more than one occasion, I put an 8 frying pan on the grate to fry eggs and the pan just flops downward until the handle touches the stove or countertop. You need to counterbalance the pan with the eggs and position carefully. I am negotiating selling my 4 appliances to a relative to place into one of her rental homes and buying a completely different brand.

Finally got the sealed system replaced and it failed 30 days later. I spent countless hours on the phone with Samsung trying to get a refund. I bought a Samsung RF266 in 2008 after reading reviews on several websites about how convenient and reliable they were. Talk about bunk, I really wonder if these companies pay for those endorsements. I have had nothing but problems with this pile of junk. The ice maker falls apart constantly and rarely works right. And then, the fridge completely froze up inside. The repairman told me to let it thaw out 24 hours before he can come work on it (what am I supposed to do with the food in the meantime?). And then, he said hes not sure whats wrong with it. He spent an hour on the phone with a Samsung tech (which he charged me $48 for) and replaced a part that took 3 days to get. That didnt fix it. He rebated the labor but I was still stuck with the part ($65). I waited 3 more days for another part, which still didnt fix it. Two days later, we got another part, which did fix it. Samsung technical said that both parts were bad. I paid $1,800 for the unit. And I have, to date, spent nearly $900 in repair bills, not to mention what Ive suffered in food loss. Im also told there is a class action lawsuit over this issue that Im having. But I cant find access to the site where I can get in on it. My best advice: If you really want to buy a Samsung, buy an extra fridge in case the main Samsung goes down.

He took a picture and based on the picture, Samsung determined the damage to be consumer neglect and voided the manufacturers warranty. I am so unhappy and disillusioned with Samsung and their complete lack of customer service. Please do not buy Samsung appliances. They are a complete waste of money!!!

I purchased my Samsung French Door refrigerator from Home Depot in 2018. In less than two years the ice maker broke requiring out of warranty service. The door bin cover snapped off. The freezer slide out wheel snapped off. And now the freezer is not freezing food. This is a $3000+ refrigerator and is total junk. Stay away from Samsung major appliances.

The ice maker on this fridge (Samsung Refrigerator Model RF23HCEDBWW) is a nightmare. We have had it for a year and since day one, it has created frost, not dispensed a lot of ice and leaked both inside and outside of the appliance. It builds ice up inside the refrigerator portion, underneath the bottom chill drawer. Save yourself some heartache and DO NOT purchase this model.

Purchased a Samsung refrigerator 4 and a half years ago. Ice freezes up on the back panel causing the fan to hit ice, making a lot of noise. Samsung sent someone out several times. The technicians used my hair dryer to melt ice then left. After several visits, I asked Samsung to replace my refrigerator which had an obvious problem. They did give me one more free repair. After that was used, I had to pay out of my pocket. I did BUY an extended warranty thru the repair company. The refrigerator is freezing up again and the technicians can not come out for two weeks. When the fan is hitting the ice, it is so loud that you can not even have a conversation in that room. Samsung does NOT stand behind their product!

I have had my Samsung refrigerator for about six months. I awoke on Christmas morning (I have the entire family over for Christmas lunch and dinner) to find my refrigerator was dead. The entire contents were warm to the touch, so it must have been off for some time before I noticed it. I was forced to throw away hundreds of dollars worth of food. No one is open on Christmas. I had a house filled with hungry people and a refrigerator filled with rotten seafood. The only place we could find to eat was a Chinese restaurant (it was like a bad rerun of the movie a “Christmas Story”) till it was all said and done I ended up paying almost $400 at the restaurant. I called Samsung and they said they would send a repairman over but not for two weeks. I take off work the day of the appointment (I work second shift and the repair shop would only give me an 8-5 window); the guy never shows. When I contact the repair shop they apologize and then tell me he wasnt coming to fix it, he was only going to look at it and that he would have to order parts. Once the parts came I would have to schedule another appointment to have it fixed. I explain I can’t keep taking off work and the woman on the phone assures me that she can get a repairman to make me his first stop of the day. On the day of the appointment I waited all morning and finally had to leave for work just before 2:00. The repairman calls me at 2:30 and gives me an attitude for not being there. At this point I call Samsung again asking for another repair company. I am informed this company is the least busy and if I get another company it will take even longer. I made another appointment and wait all morning and you guessed it, the repairman shows up again after I have already left. At this point I am furious. I call Sears, the place where I purchased it, and they send a guy out that same week. It ends up being an entire board that is dead (part # da41-00404e). The repairman tells me it would take him 5 minutes to fix it but Samsung does not let them keep parts on hand, they have to be ordered. More waiting. I had an appointment today and the repairman replaced the board and also found a fan that was bad (couldnt tell it was bad until the board was replaced). To add injury to insult the fan also had to be ordered but it was back-ordered. That coupled with having to make another appointment once the part gets here means I won’t have a fridge until the middle to end of next month! I have a child that lives here part-time who has special needs. I have medicines that need to be refrigerated as well as very expensive formulas. I have been keeping them at the neighbor down the street house but this is very difficult to say the least especially when it comes to feedings in the middle of the night.

I purchased a Samsung refrigerator 2015 and have had nothing but problems with this refrigerator. It seems there was a service bulletin issued in 2014 regarding my serial # and stated that all units will have this corrected before leaving manufacturing plant since they aware of it. I purchased mine in 2015 and sure enough my refrigerator was not repaired. Luckily I purchased the extended warranty. But now my icemaker keeps stop making ice about every three months! In fact I am calling the extended warranty people here in a bit. DO NOT...DO NOT PURCHASE A SAMSUNG refrigerator...Samsung takes no responsibility whatsoever to make this right!

I purchased all new Samsung kitchen appliances (refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave and stove) last year around July 4th during a sale at Lowes. I took delivery at different times as all items were not in stock. A year and 2 weeks later, the ice maker has stopped working. When I originally noticed that no ice was being made, the ice tray (where the ice cubes are made) was froze up. I removed the excess ice and waited. Nothing. I researched on the internet and tried to fix the problem myself. Changed the filter, checked water line and then hit the reset button. The ice maker will make one batch of ice and then no more.I called Samsung and because the warranty was out by 2 weeks, they wanted $160 service call, plus parts and additional labor, if necessary. I declined. I called Lowes to see if they would stand by their product and help. Nothing. I understand that the warranty is out, by two weeks, but I would like Lowes and Samsung would stand behind their products more and support their customers. I would understand if we were talking months or years, but this is two weeks. Actually less, if I consider when I actually took possession of the refrigerator, because it was after the July 4th date and the failure was actually before I reported it to Samsung and Lowes. To top it off, the price of a new ice maker is only $123, which I have on order now. So the $160 service call, plus parts and labor seems a little excessive. In addition to the refrigerator ice maker issue, the dishwasher does not clean as well as my 15 year old working Whirlpool that I removed. And 80% of the time has a foul odor in it, the day after washing dishes. The microwave has worked, but has a very annoying design feature. You can not operate the microwave and use the kitchen timer at the same time. Very poor design. If I had to do it all over again, I would have paid a little more and went with Whirlpool products instead of buying the Samsung products. I will not make that mistake again and do not plan on buying any products from them and will favor doing business with Home Depot over Lowes if I have a choice.

We bought the 345 Ltr RT 35 refrigerator in May 2010 in Aurangabad, Maharashtra, India. It was working well till May 2015. After which the lower door was not getting closed properly and defrost was not functional. After noting the problem, it was reported to the concerned authority and customer care number provided by Samsung in month of June. We were told to change the position, restart the refrigerator, which did not help. After persistent problem, it was again reported to customer care on 19th Sept. Again the executive told us to lift the lower door, but nobody visited our place. After repeated complaints, one of the technical person came to our place, changed the IC and told us that Your defrosting problem is solved, but door problem cannot be solved as the refrigerator purchase date is more than 5 years old. After pursuing the problem with customer care, we were told that the parts are not available and nothing can be done as company has stopped the production of said model. We have made several calls to customer care but the only answer we could get was, Sorry, we dont have the parts. Had it been before 5 years of date of purchase, we would have got the parts and not now after 5 years and 1 month; and now another version has come up from local dealer saying, It was the last piece of the lot. It was not told to us during purchase and now we are facing problems with the refrigerator, which are still unsolved and may not get solved considering the answers we are getting from customer care. Pathetic way of solving problems for a common man, who may have to put large part of his fortune into buying another refrigerator, which wont be Samsung anymore.

Upon removing all of the packing tape from my brand new Samsung range, the many problems were revealed. Outer panels were not attached properly (one side held together with the packing tape), behind that panel, another completely detached piece of sheet metal, and the oven light was dangling from its wires. Upon the discovery of this possible electrical hazard, I decided not to risk plugging it in. Now I have a useless range in my kitchen, a fridge full of highly perishable foods to cook, and no resolution for several days... I just have to sit with it and wait for someone for Home Depot to call me back. I assume I will have to take another day off work to await pick-up (Samsung lost my confidence, replacement is not an option). I should have learned this lesson last year when my brand new Samsung phone needed warranty work after two weeks of ownership. I now ask the questions; what is the true cost of this transaction? How much money and personal time will this cost me? Will Samsung compensate me for any of that? After all, it was their carelessness and lack of quality control that lead to this. They could redeem themselves with an appropriate offer, however, based on what Ive read about Samsung CS, its not likely. Goodbye forever Samsung... Thats one Titanic Id like to see sinking.
