My refrigerator stopped working 10 back. The incompetent engineers could not replace compressor which is under warranty past 10 days. They recorded computer systems with lies to fool the system to avoid create alert on incomplete service request. In my case they falsely written that the refrigerator is repaired as the information is not accessible to customer and however repeated inquiry revealed the secret of their mischief. I am still struggling to get the refrigerator repaired or replaced. You know without refrigerator you cant keep vegetables milk out for 10 days. Beware of Samsung refrigerator and avoid future disappointment. Hopefully it would help at least one more customer that could be you. God bless customer from Samsung.

Purchased Samsung French door refrigerator in 2015. Within 6 months, an intermittent rattling of the fan was loud enough to keep me awake. I contacted Samsung and Lowe’s at least 7 times without resolution. They made 3 visits, claimed not hear the noise and refused to repair or take back the refrigerator. I have recorded the noise. The noise is louder and more frequent now in 2018. My guests can hear it. I am so disappointed. Samsung deserves “F” for customer service and product design.

I cant describe how horrible experience I have with Samsung product, lets begin, in 2013 I bought Samsung French door refrigerator ( RFG297HDRS/XAA) from Best Buy and I paid extra for extended warranty (which I found out it is not extended warranty. It is duplicated warranty). Now in 2016 it is broke down. I talked to Samsung few times. There is no authorized repair center close by and they had to talk to Sears Service but make long story short the estimate of repair is around $600 maybe even more for replacing control board. I recommend to stay with common brand like Whirlpool or Kenmore, Amman instead of paying more for some foreign brand which it cost a lot to repair plus they have very short life.

What a mistake buying Samsung... we already have replaced over range microwave as well as dishwasher and now have my range being looked at tomorrow!!! The oven is making a noise that sounds like a plane taking off! The ice machine in the fridge constantly freezes over and I have to use a blow dryer to defrost it to get ice made... Also it is very difficult talking to the Samsung Reps, they dont seem to have a clue what is going on with their products and I found the one agent very rude actually. I tell everyone I know not to buy this product!

I bought a brand new side by side Samsung refrigerator from Home Depot 6 years ago and I have had 8 repairmen out here. This is the worst refrigerator I have ever had and I tell all my friends, relatives and neighbors do not buy this brand. I have a home warranty and they cant even figure it out. Right now I cannot get water to work so now wont make ice. Never ever ever buy a Samsung refrigerator, please.

We registered a complaint regarding our fridge which we bought just about one and half years ago... The complaint was done on the 4th of June and this is the 8th of June today, and still the problem is not solved. Today we called the service center for four times. Every time we are told that your problem is on priority and will be solved soon... In the evening, a senior executive told us that it is 7 oclock and this time no one can come... and we are told to wait till the coming Monday that is the 10th of June... So we are so disappointed with their services and we found ourselves helpless in this condition. We think that we should not buy any more products from Samsung.

I bought my house last year in May. In June when I bought the house had Samsung appliances, I called Samsung in June of last year about the refrigerators ice maker. It leaks all the time every day. I have mold in the bottom. There is water everywhere. They said well if you pay us $85.00 to come out and look at the fridge we will come out. This is totally unacceptable. I didnt buy the damn thing. Just saw the problems you are having with your washing machines, I will get a class action against you about this damn refrigerator if you dont call me and come out and replace this ice maker with one that does not leak. Trust me I will be on social media like you have never seen. You have my phone number. I look forward to hearing from you. This is causing big problems.

My fridge looks great, is relatively easy to clean, has lots of space and only a few less-than-perfect attributes: you must NOT pack stuff around the air-flow at the back of the fridge; the gasket is NOT tough enough (already cracked after 3 yrs); the plastic cover for the deli-drawer cracked! Overall, I would buy the unit again despite the 3 deficiencies detailed above. It cools well, looks great, and has lots of room.

On November 6, 2011 I purchased a Samsung RFG 238AARS refrigerator and an extended warranty. July 2013 it needed a defrost heater and temperature sensor (Evaporation Assembly) due to freezing below the drawer in the freezer. In December 2014 there was a clogged drain and a fan problem causing more freezing in the freezer and refrigerator. In March 20-17 there again was ice build up and the repairman said it was a common problem with Samsung due to duck bills being clogged. Currently the food freezes in the refrigerator and the freezer has problems with the ice maker. Yet, Samsung will not agree to a replacement. The freezer cost 2500.00 and makes noises and freezes below the drawers in the refrigerator and freezer. ITS A LEMON! I owned an Amana for 20 years without one repair to it. Prior to that, I owned a Kenmore without a single repair. I have been on the phone with Samsung many times, and on hold for as long as 45 minutes to no avail. I would NEVER buy a Samsung product again!

BOUGHT SAMSUNG FRIDGE & DISHWASHER FOR A TOTAL OF over three thousand dollars. Spent 2 hours with their service rep, to no avail, with no help. Except kept putting me on hold over and over. When calling & asking for help Kept me on the phone for more than 2 hours total. The fridge keeps freezing over in the bottom and Deli drawers, Dish washer leaks and replaced both flow meter replaced turbidity sensor both sensors in dish washer at a cost of over four hundred $$ for service & parts from Samsung and repair shop. So both still dont work and repair man coming again tomorrow for the 4th time at a other service charge. Each time on returning service call one hundred thirty five dollars each. Dish washer wont fill & leaks... and fridge drain lines still clogged, fan wont work either in bottom of fridge compartment. Bottom deli drawers fill with water. This is been going on for several weeks now. Very poor customer service. Suggest any one check out other problems before you buy, dont just take my experience as judgment. Check out other also.

Doors are rusted and pitted and they refuse to send me new or fix. Samsung is a terrible company to deal with. They just talk and talk. It is a company that is nonconsumer friendly, they should not be able to do business here in the US until they stand behind their product. Shame Shame Shame. Lets take a stand against Samsung. Per Samsung, some microwaves out of warranty had to be repaired as they displayed an SE error. Samsung sent someone to fix the microwave, which worked for about two weeks before again had the same problem. As there was a death in the family and I did not call back within 30 days of the first visit, they said they will send a technician to replace the bad part they put in but I would have to pay the labor but not for the part. Instead will trash the microwave.Just glad this happened before I bought the new Samsung refrigerator, dishwasher, washer, and dryer I had picked out for delivery later this month. Will not buy any Samsung product again as they forgot what customer service means. And when I asked to speak to a supervisor, the man simply kept putting me on hold for more than 30 minutes but would return every 4 minutes to say the supervisor would be on the phone shortly. I consider it a waste of time to deal with Samsung consumer department and a waste of money to buy their products.

SAMSUNG RS22HDHPNSR Counter-Depth Side by Side Refrigerator - Do yourself a favor, when researching what brand of refrigerator to buy, EXCLUDE Samsung from your list. After a year of purchasing this fridge from Best Buy, the unit stopped working. Fortunately my husband registered the fridge on Samsungs website and got an extended warranty of 3 addl months. After dealing with the terrible customer service and finally got the right repairman in, the repairman couldnt exactly tell us what was wrong with it. He said I think there is a leak so Ill repair that, but it could break down again today, tomorrow, next week, next month. That did not leave us with much comfort. So, here we are a few weeks later, and the fridge stopped cooling, AGAIN. Yet again, we are wasting our time explaining the situation to Samsung, then to have another service guy come out again which is scheduled a week from now because theyre all booked probably because they are trying to fix other lemons from Samsung. I dont know whats going to happen with this fridge, but my advice for those looking to buy a fridge or any appliances is DO NOT BUY SAMSUNG! Youll waste your precious time and money. Not worth it.

I have spoken to at least 6 or 7 different people the ones that have not resolved any of my issues with the fridge...I even asked to speak to a supervisor and they told me that there was no one available. My freezer was making a horrible sound and the refrigerator part is not cooling properly. I keep getting a run around and no one can give me a straight answer. It is horrible. I paid over a $1,000 for this not even a year ago. They are liars and rude and their customer service people dont know what the hell theyre doing. I hate them very BAD BAD BAD!!! The process for a service repair is the most inefficient process ever! We have a 1.5 yr old refrigerator where the freezer went out. We knew we were out of the warranty period, but still went through the correct channels for getting a service request. The service company came out to our home and believed they found the issue, a sealed component issue which IS covered by the 5-yr warranty. This was within a weeks period. They then order some parts for the fix, then came back out to apply the fix, but no luck. They then had to release all the gas that is in the sealed lines, inject a dye into it and come back at a later date to see where the gas leak was in the lines. At this point, we are already 2 wks in, and they came out figure where the leak was. The leak was found and they had to then schedule a return appointment since they had to order some more parts to fix the leak. 3wks go by and now the part that came in will not work, even though, it is the correct part according to Samsungs technical support and the refrigerator blueprints. Now Samsung is making the repair company jump through hoops to make sure that indeed, the part will not work, including a live video conference to show the part not being able to fit on the actual piece. Its now been almost 4 weeks, without a refrigerator. We have a 16-month old toddler, we had to purchase a used fridge just so all our current food in the fridge wouldnt go bad, and there is still NO END IN SIGHT with Samsung deeming this refrigerator IRREPARABLE and giving us a new one! I will never recommend, not buy another Samsung product again.

Discovered ice machine was not working properly on newly delivered refrigerator the first day in use. Contacted warranty division for repair and promised contact with 48 hrs. After 2 days without contact and again called warranty service. They reassigned repair ticket to another company. After another 4 days without contact I again called warranty division and was issued a new repair ticket number to yet another repair company. Was contacted by Samsung Tracking Service to check status of repair. Upon hearing that no contact had yet been made by repair company. Tracking Services said they would expedite repair order. After another 7 days without any other repair contact I contacted retailer (Home Depot) for return/refund. After hearing my story, agent put me on hold while she contacted assigned repair company who informed her that they had no record of repair ticket. She reissued ticket (under same number) and promised a quick contact from them. Ironically, a few hours later I was again contacted by Tracking Service inquiring as to the status of my repair. In our discussion she informed me that her records showed that the repair company had indeed received the repair ticket in the initial transmission and offered to put my case into the Samsung Resolution Department for review. As they were Samsung and has hired the (non-responsive) repair companies in question, I asked her to contact them to expedite. She proceeded to inform me that she was unable to contact their repair company on my behalf.I fail to understand what Samsungs definition of Customer Service could possibly be. They know theres a problem with your brand new Samsung Large Appliance. They know there are multiple failures (3) in their repair chain, they continue to ask you how is your repair going, but they refuse to actually step-in and take charge to resolve the problem. Instead, leaving their consumer to contend with the (obvious) dregs of the appliance repair world that theyve chosen to repair their products. Guess with everything in the recent news regarding Samsung guess I should be happy that my refrigerator hasnt blown up yet. The LAST Samsung product that will ever enter my home. Buyer beware!

I bought my 3 door Samsung Refrigerator in 2015 and it worked fine for 2 years. After that, Ive had nothing but problems. First, it wasnt cooling my food and I lost all of my food and had to pay a $200 repair bill. Then, 2 months later, that same thing happened! Luckily, they honored the initial repair warranty and the tech came out and fixed it again. Fast forward to 5 months later and now the refrigerator is freezing all of my food. Because the fridge is out of warranty, I will have to pay for a tech to come out and will be charged parts and labor to fix the problem. I have now lost 3 full refrigerator loads of food and am left to resolve the issue on my own. Samsung customer service sent to my house a technician who came to fix it 4 times. Each time he said I have to change a certain part of washing machine. He has replaced everything in washer (board - hose - door assembly - filters) and finally he said, It’s manufacturing problem and you have to ask Samsung customer service to replace it or compensate you, but now and after 2 months of suffering with them, they refused and they want to try again to fix it. 10 months after purchase contacted Samsung 11 months after purchase. Convection fan quit working. Oven wont reach temperature set for oven for example set for 400 but real temperature is 310. Does not cook properly due to oven problem and when it does cook it cooks unevenly. Cooked a meal and turned off oven. Came back 1/2 hour later, glass top was so hot that I could not put my hand on the glass top. I opened the oven door to cool it off and heat pour out of the oven for about 10 minutes (in pulses) and had to switch off breaker in electrical panel. Every so often when temperatures are not working properly the breaker has to be switched off and then on again to reset everything. Call center people generally dont know what they are talking to. Went through them several times then finally got a repair man to visit us. Had to run him down about 3 weeks later and he didnt remember coming to our house and the parts were not ordered.Back to Call Center, general runaround again. Had to check progress a couple of times online. Got very stupid and uninformed answers from them. Finally bugged them long enough that The Presidents Office called and said they would replace the stove. When I asked approximately how long she couldnt tell me.... 10 days or 2 weeks. Would be couriered to our home from their warehouse.....4 hours away??? 10 days later did a follow up and got an e-mail back: This e-mail is to remind you to return your Samsung NE595R0ABWW/AC/ SN: J0WG7DCC - It has been over 7 days and we still have not received the product. If you already sent your defective unit, please disregard this e-mail. Please be sure to return your set as soon as possible to the following address with the prepaid shipping label we e-mailed you.Never received the e-mail the phantom e-mail with shipping label (Why would I ship the stove out without the replacement being here). I phoned the repair station to where I was suppose to send the stove, it was 1 1/2 hours away and it would go right by one of their other stores only 40 minutes from our home. Next e-mail gave me the 1-800 number to phone again, they would help me. And the circle of denial has begun again. There is no honor here because they have not honored their contract (warranty) with the consumer.

March of 2015, we purchased a Samsung Refrigerator from Nebraska Furniture Mart. A month after purchase, the ice maker stop producing ice. Called NFM and was given Samsungs number. Technician came out at least 4 times, only supplying temporary relief. Technician said, this is a manufacture problem. He said, Theres a sleeve in the back of the refrigerator that allows air to come in and with sub-below temperatures over freezes the ice maker, not allowing the ice make to function properly. After calling Samsung, they continue with the troubleshooting techniques. If you are experiencing this problem, dont allow the operators to troubleshoot your issue. Demand for a service tech. Tech from NFM set the temperature control way too cold. Fresh produce, butter, cheeses in the midsection of the refrigerator was freezing. Found out the correct temperature should be set on 0 and 37. To set you must hold the numbers one at a time for at least three to five seconds. Heading back to NFM to complain. If purchasing this refrigerator, spend the extra money and buy the warranty. A home warranty plan may also help defer the cost. NOT HAPPY WITH SAMSUNG RIGHT NOW!

After 2 years, this stove broke during the self clean cycle (only 2nd time I ran self clean). I tried calling Samsung and they were no assistance. They gave me the name of several repair facilities none of which were still in business or willing to come to my town which by the way is not large but still has 60,000 people living in it. Samsung does not provide any service whatsoever once a product is out of warranty. I was put on hold for 40 minutes - tried talking to a supervisor who promised to call me back with a list of repair facilities and they never did. I spent almost $4000 on this range and after two years it has broken and I cannot get it serviced. I am building a new home and will never ever again by Samsung appliances. I could have lived with a quality issue but not with the absolute zero service and willing to help issue. I have heard that Samsung tries to make getting service so horrendous that people will just buy another unit rather than fixing it. To spend $4000 on a stove that only lasts 2 years is unacceptable!

The refrigerator worked okay for the first year after that it stopped working at least 6 times. I am so disgusted with Samsung. If I had the resources I would ship it back to their headquarters. I have had some of the same bad experiences with Samsung products, so I decided to share my experience to help those facing the same problems as me. I have owned the top of the line dmt800RHS dishwasher for less than two years. Initially the only issue was that the dishes would not get clean enough, so I spoke to the Lowes sales person who told me to make sure the water was hot at the sink before I start my washer. Even though there is a heating element in the machine, this did seem to help. Then, we started to smell what a lot of you are complaining about. Finally, the last straw was this latest issue with the machine filling with water but not starting the wash cycle. It also drains okay. I took the washer outside and removed everything inside it. Dont worry, its not rocket science, you can do it too. Just take your time. What I found was a piece of calcium stuck between the impeller and deflector. The calcium had hardened on the heating elements. I had to remove trapped food from inside the screen. I believe that is where the smell is coming from. I laid the machine on its back and removed the white plastic cover on the bottom that has two screws. Use a flat tip screw driver to release the tabs. Once inside, use a pair of pliers to pinch and slide the clamp back to remove the black hose at about the middle of the washer bottom. Stand it upright and blast the interior with your garden hose. If you live with hard water and your heating coil is covered with calcium put the hose back on and in the upright position submerge the coil in a CLR/water mixture. It might be a good idea to use a dishwasher cleaner monthly to keep the odor and calcium down. I hope I helped someone.

Hate the stove, definitely not worth the price. GE products far surpass. I have had nothing but problems! Like everyone else you cant keep the ceramic top clean or free of blemishes if you try to polish it, it will permanently take the shine off. The oven is off by 25 degrees and had to be recalibrated - why do I need to play tech. Mind you, I live alone and barely cook the other day opened the door there was one screw missing on the hinge and all the rest were loose. Spent hours on the phone. They explained it was out of warranty so sad too bad! Who would ever think to check screws when you buy a $800 range. To top it off they couldnt be bothered to send me a simple screw. My suggestion is go to store, buy a oven thermometer, see what your oven is putting out then recalibrate your temp yourself, you will have much better luck if you have bought 1 of their LEMONS.

We purchased our refrigerator in 2012. It has been a problem since we purchased it! The ice maker on top stopped working first. Then the bottom one had so much ice in it that when I tried to open the freezer door the plastic thing inside the ice bin snapped off. Now we have water accumulating in the drawer of the refrigerator. I have read many reviews and posts from here and the Samsung website that are all the same. I do not understand why there has not been a product recall? Our model is RFG298NDRS/XAA. As many others have mentioned here. DO NOT PURCHASE A SAMSUNG REFRIGERATOR!

Our new apartment has a half-wall between the kitchen and living room. We wanted a quiet dishwasher. The salesperson at Best Buy said the Samsung was the quietest on the market, so we bought one. It stunk when we opened it, but thought that it simply had to be used and the stink would disappear. Boy were we wrong. It is now 8 months later, after trying different detergents such as Finish gel and tablets (which we have had good success with in our old dishwasher), vinegar, etc. and the rotten fish stink is still just as strong as day 1. I dont know if the dishwasher is quiet because of built-in soundproofing or just that we cant get close enough to it due to stink to hear it. NOT happy.

Samsung French Door Refrigerator - I purchased a new Samsung refrigerator in January 2017. I bought a black surface to match my other appliances. I have been seeing scratches on the door surface around the handles and called Samsung today regarding this defect in the paint. I was advised that the damage was not under warranty and would require a service call. The repair company advised that there would be a $110 fee to come look at the damage, Not only that but the only way to repair would be to order new doors. I am pretty sure that the scratches were caused by our fingernails when reaching for the handle. I guess we need to use gloves every time we open the refrigerator! I will never buy another Samsung product.

Samsung Model RF263AEPN/XAA - Seven (7) weeks ago my refrigerator began not keeping as cold as it should. When I tried to turn down the temperature it would turn down but then immediately return to the same not really cold state it had been working at. Sounded like it should be an easy problem to fix. However, I called several repair places who told me they would not, or could not, work on Samsung refrigerators as they were not made like other refrigerators, were hard to work on, and parts were hard to come by as only one place in the United States carries the parts. I finally found a repair place that came out and replaced some items and charged us hundreds of dollars, however the refrigerator was still not cold. I called again and the repair person returned. The next time two workers were sent out to look at the refrigerator. On one of the visits I was told me it needed a new green computer board. The repair person ordered the part and came back, only to find that the part sent was not the part that had been requested. This same scenario played out two more times, with today being the last day. I called Samsung and was given the run-around. During todays visit the repair person showed me what had been ordered and the order matched the part number on what he said the refrigerator needed. However, when he showed me the part that had been sent to him, it was the wrong part number. Are Samsung workers so inept at their jobs that the correct part number cannot be sent on three occasions? I will never again buy any Samsung products. I had to laugh as while I was on hold with Samsungs customer relations today, I was put on hold and what did I hear expect that Samsung products are the best. This is a false advertisement to the general consumer. I would urge anyone reading this to NOT BUY SAMSUNG PRODUCTS for several reasons, e.g. parts are hard to come by due to Samsung not making sure their parts pullers have adequate education to do the job they are hired to do, there is only one provider of Samsung parts in the United States, and the normal repair person cannot repair a Samsung. Tonight, my husband and I will go out and find a new refrigerator and I am sure it will not cost the $2,300 that this Samsung did, and the new refrigerator will be able to be worked on by pretty much any refrigerator repair person. I have an appointment to meet with a Lawyer this afternoon about this whole situation and hopefully that will help to alleviate some of the frustration that I am feeling now.

We paid $2700 for a Samsung refrigerator with an extended five year warranty. A few months after the warranty ran out, the compressor died. For $95, Samsung’s repairman recommended buying a new refrigerator rather than paying over $1000 for the repair. Samsung Support recommended finding an unauthorized repairman that might do the repair at a lower price. Meanwhile, we are using our 29 year old Hotpoint refrigerator that we have in our garage.

After some deliberation, the answer was no because I was not an authorized repair technician. Had I waited on Samsung to handle this situation with their service, I would have had no expense. I bought a 4 piece package consisting of Refrigerator, Dishwasher, Stove and Microwave. The Microwave was delivered with a scratch down the front. It will take 8 weeks to re-order. The Dishwasher requires a special water valve that ONLY Samsung sells separately. ie: You need a Samsung installer to deal with the issue since Home Depot, Lowes and local hardware stores have never seen this type of valve. The stove top blister after the first time. After a visit from their tech people they stated.... Thats the way it works and its normal. I bought a Samsung French door refrigerator in August 2011. Had them come out 3 times (April-May 2012) as it was frosting in the freezer. On third technician visit, the tech recommended (in writing) that the refrigerator be replaced. Samsung would not do it on the grounds that the retailer does not participate in our exchange program. Okay, but thats not my issue. They asked that I give them my cc number, cut the cord, send the cord and the serial number label to them, then I might get a check in 2-4 weeks. Samsungs internal refund policy states you must do the above to get a refund, but the warranty just says repair or replace at our option. Samsung would do neither. I took them to small claims court and just won a judgement for over the value of the fridge for removal, etc. Dont let them push you around. Take them to court! Their internal policy has nothing to do with the warranty agreement/contract between you and Samsung. I believe there is grounds for a class action lawsuit here.

We have had MANY issues with our Samsung refrigerator that is LESS than 5 yrs old and cost OVER $3000!! Over the past year, the fan and refrigeration coils behind the back panel FREQUENTLY ice up, causing the fan to stop cooling the fridge, and therefore spoiling all the food. We then have to move any salvageable food into coolers to allow the fridge to completely defrost. This happens every month or so, since the issues began, and we are not alone by any means if you research reviews on the web.It is model RF28HFEDBSR/AA with French Doors, icemaker/water dispenser and a Bottom Freezer. BUYER BEWARE. Samsung does not assume ANY responsibility for their faulty products, hence the class action lawsuit in USA which started in 2010, and the internet is FULL of angry, disappointed consumers with the exact same stories. Samsungs service bulletin regarding the issue recommends replacing more parts, but at your own expense, and without evidence of even resolving the issues to consumers satisfaction. I would strongly advise steering clear of any Samsung refrigerator, and plan to boycott them myself in any future purchases!!

We purchased this Samsung French Door Refrigerator RF26VABWP in July of 200
We purchased this Samsung French Door Refrigerator RF26VABWP in July of 2009 because we thought it was a superior product. Wrong! It was fine until March of this year and then to the tune of $200 we had to have the repairman defrost the fan, etc. because it was so noisy. And then I discovered the water was leaking inside the refrigerator under the crisper trays. We thought the problem was solved until May of this year when we discovered ice forming under the crisper trays. Another service call to the tune of $200. And then in July, I discovered a repeat of the same problem. Previously when I called Samsung, I was told that if it happened again, they would do something. After 10 calls and faxing information twice, I was told that nothing could be done and that refrigerators only lasted 5 to 9 years anyway. I doubt they would want to pay $200 every three months to keep their refrigerator running properly and I also doubt that they replace their own refrigerator that often. Every time you call, you have to give the model number, your name and phone number and then be referred to the executive customer service and repeat the same information. Usually there isnt a supervisor that you can talk to and so you have to call back again and go through the entire thing again. My opinion is that if you have to do this enough times, you finally give up and go away! What a poor recommendation for a company so well known!

I purchased our Samsung French door refrigerator on 10/1/2011 through Lowes. At that time I also purchased their extended warranty; however, it expired on 10/1/2014, just 5 days short of the failure of our refrigerator. Lowes Service was very kind and immediately transferred me to Samsung, as they told me the sealed system would be covered by the manufacturer for 5 years. The representative at Samsung (after speaking and being transferred to a few different people) told me they would have a Samsung technician contact me within 24-48 hours. This was on 10/10/2014. I did not receive a phone call during this period; however, I did receive an email today, 10/14/2014. The email stated that they do not have a technician in my area, and wanted me to contact them via the supplied number to find a way to accommodate me. I was assigned a new reference number and transferred to multiple people until finally getting to speak to someone in the Executive Customer Relations Department. This person told me that Samsung couldnt repair my refrigerator due to my location, but that they could offer a pro rated buy back of it. I was told to email a copy of my original receipt to an email address they supplied me. I was told to write my name, phone number, and the most recently assigned transaction number on the receipt before emailing it to them. They told me that I would get a response within 2 business days of sending the receipt, but that I should call them if I do not get a response. The buy back is supposedly pro rated at 10% per year of ownership.

Samsung has continued to produce a defective ice maker for more than 10 years. The unit clogs up with frost & ice that prevents the unit from working. The plastic components including the ice bin and auger are very thin and developed cracks soon after use. Repeated calls to Samsung customer service do not solve the problem, they will charge you for a service call, but the expensive repairs do not fix the problem. A class action lawsuit remains open and unresolved. In the meantime user have to use a hair dryer between once a week to once a month to melt out the ice jam in the top of the unit. Lets start with rust. Within the first 8 months, the entire front of this stainless, EXPENSIVE refrigerator that I bought at HOME DEPOT, was COVERED in rust spots. Home Depot said to look to the manufacturer warranty. However Samsung wouldnt do ANYTHING because they said that it did not affect functionality. The HECK?! If you bought a brand new car and it was covered with rust within the first year, heck, 3 years, dont you KNOW that the manufacturer would have either replaced or corrected. This brand is for crap. Let go to functionality. The humidity controlled drawers do NOT control humidity. They are CONSTANTLY wet and RUIN the foods placed in them NO MATTER THE SETTING. We have to keep towels in the bottom or take up space with boxes of Arm&Hammer. Ridiculous. The setting print on the drawers has already begun to WASH OFF, yes WASH OFF with just regular wipe downs. This year and a half old fridge looks and functions as if its TEN years old. I cant wait to get rid of it. Maybe Ill buy one of their cell phones and blow it up. The ICE MAKER... Also terrible. The ice doesnt fall evenly or have a guard on the back. So all of the ice falls into the back of the tray. When you open it, a rush of ice falls out the back of the freezer drawer. No idea how much is back there at this point. I suppose Ill have to get it out eventually... Somehow. Smaller inconveniences: The shelves in this fridge are completely white, not clear. So any small jar or other item you have stored in them will never be seen. And will likely be forgotten. Additionally, the glass shelves are not removable like so many other refrigerators. So if you experience a spill, theres no way of getting the substance out of the crevices of the plastic and the glass. I literally hate this refrigerator. Its utterly worthless. And is NOT QUIET. If youre looking to buy a fridge and interested in this one, Ive got one Ill sell ya CHEAP.

I purchased Samsung Chef Collection refrigerator around Nov/Dec of 2014. Best looking refrigerator at the time. Paid over $4000. Well, I must say, it does look good, but where is the bases of the GOOD REFRIGERATOR? I wonder. Reason being is that, the ICE MAKER has been giving me problem about 9 months into use. Ice would not come out, so I tried to pull the ice basket off. It was stuck and could not remove it. Called warranty service, then it was close to being expired. Tech came and fixed it, then month later it was doing it again. Seems to me that when ice is being produced, the water splashes along the wall and it freezes the mechanism around it. When tech came, he had to turn off the refrigerator and use the steamer to melt around it. Another problem that I am experience is when ICE is being dispensed, only CRUSHED ICE will come out. So, I guess entire ICE MACHINE is just a JUNK after all. I would not recommend you getting this unit. I should have listen to the sales person, because, he did say, Samsung has weak ICE Machine, but didnt warn me enough. (He should have said, ICE MACHINE is a some Piece of **.) I hope they will do recall on this unit or replace it at no cost. Better yet, they better come out with better ICE MACHINE Technology that will simply produce ICE.

When we returned 2 months ago, it still doesn’t work. Repair wants to change master board at our expense. 3 month guarantee on this part. Again we have joined a class action lawsuit against Samsung. Please google Samsung range lawsuit to substantiate my complaint.

I have had my Samsung refrigerator for about six months. I awoke on Christmas morning (I have the entire family over for Christmas lunch and dinner) to find my refrigerator was dead. The entire contents were warm to the touch, so it must have been off for some time before I noticed it. I was forced to throw away hundreds of dollars worth of food. No one is open on Christmas. I had a house filled with hungry people and a refrigerator filled with rotten seafood. The only place we could find to eat was a Chinese restaurant (it was like a bad rerun of the movie a “Christmas Story”) till it was all said and done I ended up paying almost $400 at the restaurant. I called Samsung and they said they would send a repairman over but not for two weeks. I take off work the day of the appointment (I work second shift and the repair shop would only give me an 8-5 window); the guy never shows. When I contact the repair shop they apologize and then tell me he wasnt coming to fix it, he was only going to look at it and that he would have to order parts. Once the parts came I would have to schedule another appointment to have it fixed. I explain I can’t keep taking off work and the woman on the phone assures me that she can get a repairman to make me his first stop of the day. On the day of the appointment I waited all morning and finally had to leave for work just before 2:00. The repairman calls me at 2:30 and gives me an attitude for not being there. At this point I call Samsung again asking for another repair company. I am informed this company is the least busy and if I get another company it will take even longer. I made another appointment and wait all morning and you guessed it, the repairman shows up again after I have already left. At this point I am furious. I call Sears, the place where I purchased it, and they send a guy out that same week. It ends up being an entire board that is dead (part # da41-00404e). The repairman tells me it would take him 5 minutes to fix it but Samsung does not let them keep parts on hand, they have to be ordered. More waiting. I had an appointment today and the repairman replaced the board and also found a fan that was bad (couldnt tell it was bad until the board was replaced). To add injury to insult the fan also had to be ordered but it was back-ordered. That coupled with having to make another appointment once the part gets here means I won’t have a fridge until the middle to end of next month! I have a child that lives here part-time who has special needs. I have medicines that need to be refrigerated as well as very expensive formulas. I have been keeping them at the neighbor down the street house but this is very difficult to say the least especially when it comes to feedings in the middle of the night.

Omg, how I wish I had read the Consumer Affairs reviews before I bought my Samsung range. Consumer Reports DID not give it a bad review. I purchased all new appliances for my retirement home and price didnt matter. Love my Sears Elite Refrigerator and my Bosch dishwasher. However, I cannot say anything good about the Samsung slide-in electric glass cooktop! The glass top has several scratches beginning the first time I used it. It was installed the second week of March 2018 but wasn’t used until April because I was in Florida. This is my fourth cooktop. First was a Corning, second and third were General Electric. After using it for only two and one-half months I cannot believe the condition of the cooktop. The booklet says not to slide pans. I try not to, but of course you will slide a pan occasionally. I use the same cookware that I used on the others. I never had one scratch on any of my other three cooktops. Every time I use it I’m a nervous wreck worrying about scratching it. There is no reason to get another top because I do not want another Samsung. This is a very expensive mistake! And, I will be replacing it. I feel sorry for those who are stuck with their Samsungs because they can’t afford to replace them. Samsung ought to stick with televisions. I sure hope there is or will be a class action lawsuit. Extremely dissatisfied with Samsung range and it will be a relief to get rid of it!

Price was over $300.00 and this appears to be a very common issue at around the 18th month of usage mark per the complaints online I have read. Of course, I called the company and they state, Too bad, it is out of warranty (12 months). The company needs to look at the business they are losing over what could be a small fix. I will no longer purchase any Samsung products. I was a dedicated Samsung customer because the quality was there in the past. In this economy, you would think that a company would value the customers they have and when they see a defect like this, they should address it, not just brush it off. Samsung needs to look at Tylenol for an example of going above and beyond for its customers. So with that said, I have a $350 microwave that lasted less than 2.5 years so maybe I will just purchase a cheap microwave every year. At least, I will get a new one each year and may be more cost effective,

RF263BEAESER - I have had this $2700.00 refrigerator for 8 months and had to call a repairman out for the 2nd time because the freezer quit working again! We have lost between $400.00 and $500.00 in frozen meats, dinners, etc. from spoiling and simply cannot afford to keep doing this. The French doors do not seal properly and food spoils easily in the refrigerator as well. I dont trust this appliance any further than I could throw it and Samsung refuses to take responsibility for the faulty design! Worst experience of my life - I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER SAMSUNG PRODUCT AS LONG AS I LIVE. Hey Samsung... can you comprehend lawsuit?

We were told that we could only have one ticket open at a time. We were more concerned about our freezer that went out. Once that was completed we were guaranteed to have our ice maker fixed due to issues that had with the brand we had. Once we try to put in a ticket it kept getting canceled stating we were out of warranty. Rep looked up our serial and model # before he did anything. Now we get all these cancellations each time I call for a supervisor because Samsung couldn’t hold to their promise. I don’t care if our of warranty or not! This should have been promoted when the rep looked up the information. Poor at holding their promise when I’m in fact they know they had issues with this model.

Bought a Samsung Refrigerator in Feb 2015. In May of 2016 the Fridge part stopped cooling and I lost everything in the top. Called Repair as the Fridge is not under warranty. The service man made 5 trips out and 2 parts and now it is Sept 7 2016 and it is making a noise so long had to unplug it. It was frozen up again in the fridge part and was not cooling up to 62 degrees even though there is ice frozen to coils. Service could not even get panel off until it thawed for 24 hours or more. I still do not have a refrigerator working. The freezer still works fine like others have said. I am getting the run around and given a ticket number and no service guy will come out (they said they can not get answers from tech support) and there is no wiring diagram as other appliances have. Do your research. Do not buy Samsung!

First the reason for my review is to warn consumers about a Samsung refrigerator and I dont want them to make the same mistake that I made. If I could do it all over again, I would have kept my old refrigerator or got a different brand. I bought this mess of a refrigerator in September 2013. I bought a Samsung refrigerator for $1500.00 and a 5-year warranty with it. I am so glad I did because it’s been problems every since I had it. I had a technician come out to replace different parts on this refrigerator at least 3 times since 2013. The ice maker keeps messing up and not producing ice. If you leave the door open for at least 15 minutes then close the door, it won’t produce ice. The water freezes up and it won’t produce ice either. I hate I even bought this freakin Samsung refrigerator. After my warranty is up, I will sell it and get another refrigerator. The only reason why I am keeping it is because it is still up under warranty. I will not be able to afford for a technician to keep coming out after the warranty has expired. Damn you Samsung and the people who put this refrigerator together. If I could shove this refrigerator up their butt, I would. Please, Im begging the consumers, DONT BUY A SAMSUNG REFRIGERATOR!

I bought a Samsung refrigerator model RS2530BBP/XAA less than three years ago. Last year before it was even two years old, I had to have it serviced for freezing up. I spent $200 to have it defrosted by a repairman. I had lost around $250 worth of food. Now less than a year since having it repaired, it started making a loud noise. And then I noticed after being gone to work all day that the freezer had quit working and all my meat was defrosted. I had to throw away another $200 of food lost. Samsung is no help at all. I called and of course, they said I would have to pay again to have it serviced. This is a load of crap. They dont stand behind their products. Im a single mom and when I bought this $1,100 refrigerator, I thought it would last me at least 10+ years as my other refrigerators all have. I will never buy Samsung products again and hope I can get the word out about their products. They are junk. When I just had this refrigerator serviced less than a year ago, it has always made weird noises and I knew that wasnt supposed to be that loud.

I purchased a side by side Samsung Refrigerator (RS263TD) in 2014. It began freezing at the bottom in 2017 and I had it serviced for $200 replaced the cooling panel. Now in early 2018, the problem is back. The service company guarantees their service for 1 year if there are problems with the unit; it was not charge. I have now reviewed the consumer complaints related to Samsung refrigerators -- they are all the same. What about a recall on the products. This product was a replacement for my GE (21 years of use). I will never purchase another Samsung product. GE only.

Ice dispenser in Samsung refrigerator is a problem. In dispensing Ice it gets stuck at outside outlet or at inside outlet at ice bucket or it drops crushed ice instead of the cube ice. Now when you try to clear it suddenly it drops all ice on floor and creates a mess and needs to be cleaned up. I looked in the booklet under description and under problem solution. No luck. Bought the Samsung French door refrigerator in 2014. In 2015, it stopped cooling twice. Had to be thawed at home since it is already out of warranty. Which is ridiculous. Samsung service is of no assistance. Just refer you to a local repair shop who refers you elsewhere because they refuse to service Samsungs products. If I had known about the short life of this refrigerator and the inability of it to perform its only job of cooling food, Id have definitely switched to another brand before the purchase of this $1,500 piece of pretty - looking junk. Samsung has been made aware of this design flaw for years, but due to selfishness and greed have refused to address the issue, fix / redesign the problem coils, or even recall their junk refrigerators. They have done a huge disservice to their consumers by allowing these pieces of junk to remain on the market without fixing the issues. I feel they should be made to recall the problem appliances. We lost over $300 in food and even the babys formula. Theres no excuse to sell high priced junk to consumers without standing behind your products. Bad business practices. Samsung should just stick with cell phones and computers. Their refrigerators are not worth the money or bad reviews. Just stay away!

On Oct 12 of this year I bought a Samsung Self-Cleaning Slide in Convection Range Model Number NX58H9500WS. I normally keep it clean manually, but decided to try the self clean option a week ago. After it heated up, black noxious smoke was billowing out of the oven. It was setting off all my smoke alarm, and spreading black soot everywhere. I shut down the machine from the electric junction and opened all the windows. I believe if I hadnt thought quickly it would have set fire to my apartment. I called Samsung, and they came here and inspected the machine, and voided the warranty. How does one void a warranty on a machine that was obviously defective, and could have caused a house fire? I went to the place I purchased the machine, because I had a warranty with them. They came, and they verified the stove had gone on fire. The company I purchased this from is taking care of the issue that Samsung should have taken care of. This is reprehensible on the part of Samsung Customer Service. We are now allowed to return said item to the store and will be picking out another range. You can guess it will NOT be a Samsung.

Samsung Refrigerator model #RF217ACPN/XAA - do not let the beauty or bells
Samsung Refrigerator model #RF217ACPN/XAA - do not let the beauty or bells and whistles of ANY Samsung sway you into buying. We bought our Samsung 3 years ago and were thrilled when it was delivered and installed. Sadly those emotions didnt last long. The first sign of trouble was lettuce/salad fixings freezing. Made sure it was not human error (temperature), this problem continued. Next came the ice maker refusing to make ice. After multiple, long-lasting, irritating contacts to the Samsung support tech no fix to my problems occurred. Water, then ice began to accumulate in the crisper drawers. A little in the beginning, then half-full and freezing solid anything in drawer. Repairman contacted for the ice maker. First one stated that there was no way he would attempt to work on a Samsung. Next one sighed and said he would try but that Samsung offers no tech support and parts stay on back order for a very long time. After checking out ice maker, said he could fix it with a $64.00 (wholesale) cost part IF he could locate it. Ice maker part located, repairman returned, so we inquired about water/ice in crisper. Blue light flashing on the top control as you open refrigerator-- uh oh. He took panels off, removed drain tab, unthawed ice, checked top control board, checked main panel, checked all of the fans. Main control panels were not turning the fan. Surmised that the control panel was not functioning. Even though this is not a financially good time for us, we went shopping today to check on a new refrigerator. Three stores and all salesman acknowledged that they understood why we would NOT look at a Samsung. One store told us that the models on the floor were the end of what Samsungs they would be selling because of not being able service them because it is too difficult to get the parts as they are always on back order. Salesman stated that there were a lot of service calls made on this brand. Wish I had known then what I know now about this brand of refrigerator.

Ive owned a SXS Samsung Refrigerator for 2 years. I bought it based on reviews of excellence. The refrigeration system itself works fine, but the ice maker is now called the Monster. The ice flies all over the floor regardless of the container/glass I use. And today, the ice jammed in the release element, backing up in the freezer. I just became aware of the class action lawsuit related to the faulty ice maker unit in my refrigerator. My model isnt explicitly listed, however it does state the list isnt limited to those units. I purchased from Lowes 01/07/2017 for $1805.01. I purchased (thankfully) the extended warranty as well. We dealt with the noise forever; weve had 4 service calls thus far for complete inoperability. Most recently phoned 6/4/21. First avail 6/18; ordered parts; returned 6/25 to complete. Never worked, and is now displaying error codes. Next avail 7/5 to fix. I realize I am fortunate to have the extended warranty but it runs out in 6 months; then Im stuck with a faulty fridge. I am hoping Samsung will do the right thing and pay out for those of us dealing with this problem.

Tech said that the control board is bad therefore the fridge is running continuously. The part was ordered and has NOT come in after 7 weeks and Ive been told that its on a National backorder waiting for the mfg to produce the part. It appears Samsung has a full defect on this board and it should be recalled and replaced at no charge. If the part were even available it would cost me $389.00 to replace/repair but after reading all the horrible reviews and money spent trying to repair the fridge it may be wise just to trash it and buy a GE or Whirlpool that can at least be repaired if needed. Not happy that Lowes would sell a product that clearly has major issues.
