This dishwasher dw80j7550ug is a real work of crap. I only saw the reviews too late to see how bad it is. It doesnt clean your dishes. It stinks all the time you open it. Even empty. It doesnt dry your dishes. Samsung says open the door to air dry the dishes. I have to rinse the dishes off extra good. I paid 700 dollars for a dishwasher that I practically have to wash the dishes before I put them in it. Air dry my dishes... I might as well wash them and put them on the counter. Samsung sends repairmen out that say everything is working according to their specs. Dont buy this or any Samsung product. They are the lowest rated dishwashers on the market. I wish they would recall them. Thanks.

I bought the NE58K9500SG, slide in range in Nov., I would like to report a safety issue. The knobs on the front are too easy to turn. My husband and I are constantly turning the stove top on by accident with our body while reaching to the back burners or the cabinet above the stove or the microwave. We have young grandchildren in the house from time to time and I am worried about it. While we were hanging a backsplash the stove top came on and we werent aware of it. I really dont know what to do about it and Im trying to adapt to it. I love the range but Im worried about the safety of it. I cant give this a higher rating because I feel its just a matter of time before something worse happens. I have contacted Samsung support to let them be aware of the design flaws and I will update my review when or if I hear back from them.

I paid almost $ 3,000 for a stainless steel refrigerator for my beautiful new kitchen to then have the ice maker never to work properly since the day I purchased it. It’s the 2015 Samsung four door refrigerator. We have done everything to make it work for us. Finally this month we bought another refrigerator, obviously a different name brand. I called Samsung and informed them of what we had to do and would they at least give us some of our money back and we would buy another Samsung, updated of course. No go! Offered us nothing! Bad business Samsung!

This refrigerator is one of the best we have ever had. Being a Navy family, we are always on the move, resulting in new appliances every few years. We found early on that selling our used appliances before a move, was more cost effective than risking damage to them. Samsung refrigerators are priced well, energy efficient, as well as nice to look at. I love the french doors and freezer on the bottom. The middle drawer is the favorite feature in this house. Putting the most used items in the drawer, saves opening the doors to the top storage area so many times each day. The crisper drawer lives up to its name, keeping lettuce fresh and crispy as long as 10 days.

We purchased a Samsung microwave, range and refrigerator and have nothing but problems with all of them. The microwave literally didnt work when it was installed and needed to be replaced. The refrigerator needed 3 service calls and finally had the ice maker replaced. A shelf in the door of the refrigerator cracked and broke after 14 months (with yogurts in it) and now I need to buy another because it is past 12 months from purchase. The range has had 5 service calls and still not right. The stovetop cooks very hot. When the burners are on the lowest setting the fluid in the pan boils. The convection oven does nothing that a convection oven is supposed to do. It does not cook evenly nor faster at all. The left side of the oven cooks hotter than the right even after services calls with Samsung finally saying they cannot guarantee even cooking in the oven. For example if I have 2 bread loaves in the oven one will be done and the other is still raw inside. Everything that is cooked needs to be monitored because every time I cook it requires a different time to cook properly. Will never again purchase a Samsung appliance. Poor product with worse customer service.

Samsung RSG257AARS side by side refrigerator - July 2014 we noticed that our freezer was not working. No ice and the food was thawing out. I called Samsung because we had purchase the unit in 2009 but I have always at least gotten 10 years out of a refrigerator. The customer service representative agreed with me but said the only thing she could do for me was to sell me a 1-year extended warranty. That was her solution so that I could get someone out to check it and repair it. So I bought the warranty. In the meantime I lost a whole freezer full of food. I called the service company and they said the soonest I could get someone to come look at it would be September. So I said I have to go without a freezer for 2 months? Well we had no choice and keep a cooler full of ice out on our patio so we could get through the rest of the summer without ice and a freezer. The first repair man arrived in September. He ordered some parts and we were told to call them as soon as the parts arrived and they would send out another repair person to install and repair the freezer. So the parts came in a few weeks, we called the repair service company and had a repair person arrive in another 2 weeks. So it is now October, no freezer and the regular refrigerator part of the unit is acting up. The second repair man shows up but the parts that arrived were not correct. He was able to bypass something so we could keep food cold. But he also ordered other parts and checked the other side of the unit. It also needs parts. So 2 more weeks wait for more parts. It is now December 2014 and the parts arrive, we call in for the third repair person. He arrives, re-checked everything and said that none of the new parts ordered would fix the problem so he ordered more parts. Those parts arrive in January 2015. Still no freezer and our other refrigerator side of this unit is getting worse. We called again for another repair person. The fourth repair person came out and said they did not need the parts that they found a leak in the line. He repaired it. It worked for a few months and then started all over again. A fifth repair person came out but not until April. He checked everything and they had to recharge the unit again. So it worked until June - this is 2015. So we have gone 1 year with it working for a month or maybe two then we start all over again.Anyway they said that in June they could not get back until the first of September. The sixth service person charged it again and it was good until yesterday. Now I have to call again and have them come out again. This has been a 2-year process of an on and off refrigeration unit. Samsung should have given me credit and I should have been able to buy another unit. Instead I am having to basically have someone come to my home every other month to work on this unit. We are totally frustrated and would love to ship this to Samsung so they they can use it as a paperweight because that is about all it can do consistently.

I would like to register my deep discontent how Samsung Appliances handled my order delivery, when I bought the delivery date was Sept 9th, then after 2 days I got a notification from a 3rd party company, XPO Logistics, saying they will only be able to deliver on Sept 10th, then 1 day before they called and postponed to Sept 20th. On that day they postponed again Oct 4th. So Ive been leaving in my house without a refrigerator since then and the worst is that they have the refrigerator in the warehouse but cannot install it because they are overbook or whatever. So please you CANNOT TRUST on Samsung delivery dates and customer service.

When our microwave broke, we were planning to replace with the same brand we had, but the Samsung was such a handsome model, we were drawn to it. I purchased this beautiful refrigerator RF4287HA. After 13 months, an error code showed up on the display. I called Samsung and they sent out a repair service. When this particular one was made, the assembly line forgot to put the protective plastic cover over one of the sensors which allowed the sensor to drop down and be cut off by the smaller plastic drawer in the freezer. Repairman said we should get our money back for the service repair since this was a defect when this one was made (even though it was about 5 weeks over the 1-year warranty).Basically, somebody did not do their job when our refrigerator was made. After 4 calls to Samsung, they told us to send a statement from the repairman and they would refund our service call fee. After 2 months, a message was left that it was not going to be refunded. I talked with the service rep and he said, Sorry, its not going to happen. I assured him that I would make sure everyone I come in contact with would know what kind of company Samsung is. Buyer beware.

We purchased our Samsung refrigerator, model # RFG238AARS on May 28, 2012. Glad we did not purchase any other Samsung appliances since. This one has been a frequent headache. In the beginning we were able to get many things fixed under warranty. We did not purchase the extended warranty. If a product is good, one should not be necessary. We have frost all through the freezer. This problem occurred during the first year of owning it and was fixed. A refrigerator that costs over $3,000 should last longer than 3 years. We also have rust in the tray under the water and ice dispenser. I thought stainless did not rust. I will never buy any appliance from Samsung again. I did call Lowes to let them know how disappointed we are with a product they carry. I wish I had seen and read the reviews I have just read of other peoples experiences with the Samsung refrigerator. We liked that it was cabinet depth and made ice in 2 places, in the door and in the freezer section. Samsung should stick with what they know and they do not know how to produce a quality refrigerator that is worth what we paid. Samsung should reimburse at least half of what we paid for this refrigerator.

Three years ago we purchased brand new Samsung appliances for our remodeled kitchen. BIG MISTAKE! Within 2 1/2 years both ice makers in the refrigerator (model RF323TEDDBSR) stopped working. After 3 repair visits and a 6 week wait for parts to arrive, we paid nearly $400 to have the bottom freezer repaired. It would cost several hundred dollars more to repair the top freezer so we declined to do this. Today, our Samsung electric range (model NE59J7850) overheated and broke. We are going tomorrow to purchase a new range and it WILL NOT BE A SAMSUNG! We will never purchase any Samsung products again.

My side-by-side Samsung refrigerator, model RS265TDRS, was purchased in Dec
My side-by-side Samsung refrigerator, model RS265TDRS, was purchased in December 2010, so its about 3.5 years old. Very expensive unit. It started making noise sounding like a generator - so loud, I was afraid something was breaking in there. When I opened the refrigerator door it would stop, then start again when the door was closed. We moved the food into another refrigerator and freezer, unplugged this unit, and made arrangements with Samsung for a service call. (That itself was an adventure: Samsung rep never responded to email; the phone number in the refrigerator manual was for mobile phone service; the online form for a service request didnt work under several browsers. Finally used live chat and had the chat rep fill out the service request for me.)Two weeks later, I plugged in the unit in preparation for the service techs visit. No noise. The service tech called me to confirm the appointment, then suggested we cancel the service call, because (a) with no noise, he cant really diagnose a problem; (b) chances are it was just ice build-up and may never happen again; (c) removing the panel to get at the fan means removing all tech, because everything is attached to the panel, and that means replacing the panel because you cant just put it back on after its been taken off; and (d) something like his labor and the panel wouldnt be covered by warranty anyway after 3.5 years. These are expensive refrigerators. I like lots of things about it, but I think its ridiculous that I should have to unplug my refrigerator every now and then to make sure ice doesnt build up, and its ridiculous that this problem wouldnt be covered under a warranty. For anyone who has the same fan-sounds-like-a-generator problem, unplug it for a while and save yourself the hassle of getting in touch with Samsung. Im really hoping this solves the problem.

I was so happy to be able to afford to finally be able to buy this refrigerator for my family (model RF323TEDBSR). Mine was manufactured Apr 2012, but we did not buy it until Feb 2013. I used to drool over the commercials of the big, happy family that was loading their shiny refrigerator with lots of groceries and pine for the day where I could actually afford that refrigerator for my family. We have 8 children, 6 who are still home full time, and this was touted as a big refrigerator for big families.Initially, I was very happy with my purchase. It definitely lives up to all the space. The first grocery trip that I was able to fit everything into our new fridge prompted me to put pictures on social media. I was so tickled with it. Unfortunately, the honeymoon was a short one and my relationship with this refrigerator quickly soured. I had issues with a code that kept alarming that was repaired under warranty. The lower ice maker quit working altogether, but it was also repaired. That is all well and good, but its harder than you think to find an appliance repairman who works on Samsung products at all, but especially the refrigerator. Its apparently even harder to actually get parts for the poor thing. As of today, my fridge is a total piece of junk that is a daily reminder of how I was ripped off for over $2500 (and I got a huge discount by being a smart shopper and combining discounts and a coupon). As of today, I am missing 4 of the door bins. All of the bigger ones on the right side where there should be lots of space for condiments, milk and more, they are broken and unusable. I have not been able to obtain any replacements for them at all. Even when narrowing them down on Samsungs website (do you know how many different door bins there are?!), I could not possibly spend the exorbitant prices they are asking... Keep in mind, its still under extended warranty, but the warranty does not cover such things. There is no handle on the freezer. The replacement one fell off, too. I usually have to open a fridge door to open the freezer. The bin inside the freezer has cracked and one has been pulled out because it was not staying in place anymore. The pantry door is gone. It was replaced once, but the second cracked in the same manner and it has not been replaced. The pantry drawer itself is also damaged and comes off the track much too easily. The upper ice maker is completely dead. It stopped making ice awhile ago, though the water still worked. The water used to be fun to try and see if it wanted to work that day. Some days youd push the dispenser down, the light would come on and nothing would happen for awhile. It eventually stopped dispensing water at all. So now no ice or water up top. The repairman fixed it once, but its now broken again. And yes, the filter has been replaced with a genuine Samsung filter. When it was fixed, the entire apparatus that holds the filter was replaced. But again, no ice up top and no water. There is a crack on the white plastic on one shelf portion over the crisper on one side and a larger chunk cracked out on the other, to the point the glass shelf edge is partially exposed. So much for humidity control.More recently, the fridge seems to be running warmer and my produce is dying off at an alarming rate. I am now looking at replacing a 2.5 year old fridge (which is still under an extended warranty!) that I feel totally duped into believing was actually meant for a family. I used to love this thing, now I hate it, and that makes me sad.

I purchased a Samsung french door refrigerator model #RF23HCEDBSR/AA at Home Depot on July 4, 2016 to replace my still working 23 year old Kenmore refrigerator/freezer. I also purchased a 2 year extended warranty on it. Two weeks ago I noticed anything liquid being refrigerated was freezing solid. Internet research says most likely the main control board has failed and will need to be replaced. The part runs about $130. I contacted Home Depot and they gave me the purchase order number but claim that I didnt purchase an extended warranty. Unfortunately, I cant locate my receipt. I did register the fridge with Samsung. I contacted Samsung and they advised me the fridge was out of warranty. To have it serviced would cost $160 just to come to my home and diagnose it. Parts and labor would be extra. So Im looking at a minimal of $300 to fix something that shouldnt have crapped out after fifteen months. After reading that thousands of other US consumers are dealing with similar issues with their Samsung appliance purchases, Im convinced this will be my last Samsung purchase until they make good on customer complaints and take action concerning quality control.

BUYER BEWARE!!! “Stainless steel” is a hoax!!! RUST bleeding through on doors and drawer after 1 year-- not covered in HD’s Protection Plan!!! I purchased an attractive Samsung fridge on December 29, 2016 at the Conshohocken Home Depot -- HD ref # ** 33- Wide, 18 cu. ft. Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator. It fit perfectly for my kitchen design. Home Depot delivered months later, and I started using the fridge in May of 2017. However, after one year I noticed spots of rust bleeding through on the sides and front of the top two doors, and on the top of the drawer, as well. As recommended, I clean the fridge with mild soap and water. I called HD Customer Service. The “finish” is not covered in the HD Protection Plan. They called Samsung. Samsung won’t do anything because the one-year warranty expired. So, there’s nothing to do except grin and bear it. Well, there’s no grin on my face -- pretty outrageous!

I got the dreaded SE error message and went online because there is no troubleshooting article in the booklet. Did the Fix from a YOUTUBE video... and also learned from YOUTUBE videos that Samsung was providing new keypads on these because it was such a known defect. So I called Samsung... and was told that indeed they are NOT doing that... that I needed to contact the local repair person. So I did... and he told me to call Samsung again and lie to them that I was worried my microwave was going to burn down my house... thus forcing them to provide the free part (and service to install). Purchase a Samsung Dishwasher DMT300RFS about 2 years ago. It worked fine for 1 year. We started having issues with it cleaning the dishes and glassware. We tried different detergents and cleaning products with no success. Then it stopped working altogether. The instrument panel codes said that it was a drain pump problem so I replaced the drain pump. It would not start and displayed a new code leak sensor. I took the dishwasher apart again, but did not see any water. I made sure that the sensor was dry and put the machine back together. We finally got an energy efficient washer. We weren’t used to no agitator but googled the difference. The newer washers push water through the clothes vs the old way of pushing the clothes through the water. It fills with only a fraction of water estimated by the weight of the articles. That scared us at first as it didn’t seem to add enough water to possibly wash clothes and get them clean. After more researching and doing loads of laundry. This Samsung has gotten the clothes much cleaner. I don’t like how it takes longer to wash clothes with these machines but it is what it is. The machine is very quiet vs our old ones. We no longer have to shut our laundry room door. We forget it’s even going until it plays a song when done.

The control panel went completely dead and the internal sides were very hot (as well as the glass rotating plate in the microwave). We had to unplug the unit. I bought a Samsung dishwasher Model# DW80F600UTS/AA about 6 months ago. Its no good and did not work out of the box. I was getting an error code that it would not drain on start-up. I had to call for service, explained the problem and a tech was scheduled to come and repair it in a week. Tech came, replace faulty part and it finally ran for the first time. Sure it ran but it has never cleaned the dishes very well and it always leaves a powdery residue on everything. The insides of the dishwasher has a build up of powdery residue in certain areas as well, especially on the bottom. Also I have noticed that it smells when I open the door even with no new dirty dishes in it. You would think that from a place where you pull clean dishes from that it wouldnt have a musty odor coming from it. It just makes me sick to know I have a new expensive dishwasher and I wind up cleaning more dishes by hand than I put in my dishwasher. I also bought Samsung microwave oven and stove but have not had a problem yet except that the clocks have to be reset every 30 months because one run fast and the other runs slow. From what I have been reading I am bracing myself for the other appliances to give me problems. I have not bought the fridge yet and I guarantee it wont be a Samsung! Best of luck to all of those who do not heed the warnings of myself and the others who have posted here.

Within a couple of months of purchasing my refrigerator, the ice maker started leaking causing it to freeze up. I contacted Samsung and they sent out a repairman to fix it under warranty. Less than a year later it started leaking and freezing up again. At this time the customer service representative assured me that Samsung would make good on the problem and they now have a repair kit to solve the issue. She also informed that if the kit did not fix the problem Samsung would replace my refrigerator at no cost to me. The kit did not fix the problem and now Samsung is not honoring their word and has refused to replace my refrigerator.

I purchased a Samsung refrigerator in 2013 RS265TDRS. Immediately the ice maker had issues, and I have to continue to defrost the ice maker monthly and the dispenser gets clogged. It was embedded in the door, now I see they have abandoned that approach. My bigger issue is that this year the refrigerator stopped working and wouldnt cool. The temperature gauge showed 38 degrees but it was warm and all food spoiled. Had to pay a repairman to come out and tell us this is a common problem with Samsung refrigerators and they need to be defrosted constantly, especially in humid areas and not to use the energy saving setting. He basically indicated the auto defrost is no longer working and it would be cheaper to buy a new fridge than to fix this one. Even though Samsung shows 10 year warranty on the compressor, what good is that if you cant use the fridge after only 6 years and after talking to Samsung they only cover their product for 1 year. Lowes had a 3 year extended warranty. Repairman said he has better experiences with other brands.

Only way to fix it is replace with parts that cost over a hundred $ but afraid to discover new parts may have same defect. Microwave (of course) did not stop working until after the warranty. I have had many microwaves in my life. Never ever has any of them stopped working, only just wanted a better one. Now I am forced to buy a built-in type over 600.00 at home depot because Samsung is JUNK!!!! My wife wanted a Samsung phone until I reminded her of the dead-weight junk in our kitchen. So we went with Iphones. NEVER Samsung!!! !

Horrible. Spent thousands on the refrigerator and now I see filter light on and learn I need to spend $45 every 6 months to replace water filter. Also, microwave filter needs to be replaced every 6 months as well- only $11 for that. Why didnt the Lowes salesman tell me I would need to spend additional money every 6 months and replace these filters? Also, when I called customer service I needed to ask him to spell out what he was saying because I could not understand a word. Not sure which country I reached but it sure wasnt the US. I will not even go into the fact that I also bought a Samsung electric oven/cooktop and needed to replace the cooktop after 3 months because it cracked. Samsung products are horrible. I will never purchase another Samsung appliance again.

I bought model RS267 LBSH side by side in May 08 from Lowes. Right off, the ice maker never worked properly and we were blown off by repair (it never dispensed cubed ice and will block up with big chunks). Digital temperature reading seemed to be off. At times, things in the freezer were frozen rock hard and at other times almost soft. Reading the complaints, we should have bought an in fridge temp checker as I know the temps were fluctuating a lot although the in door reading showed a constant 0 and 38 degrees. Today, the unit quit cooling, but the door temps still read normal. We would not have known until the next morning except that hubby went into the freezer for a popsicle and they were melting. We threw stuff in the chest freezer, and put fridge stuff outside since its in the 30s here right now. I tried all the troubleshooting (what little I could find) from the Samsung site and nothing worked. After going through the complaint, I feel lucky we got 3 1/2 years before the 60 degree mark. Now, Im trying to decide whether to trash our good looking but problem prone fridge and buy another. Im not sure I want to pay for iffy repairs if we can even find anyone here that will work on them. Its the first time I have ever had a major appliance quit working like that so young in its age. This makes me never want to buy another Samsung product again. So Im now researching for more reliable fridge brands.

In 2013 purchased a Samsung Side-by-side SS Refrigerator Model RS26TDR from Lowes. Worked good for about 8-9 months; came home & found the temperature in refrigerator was 60+ degrees; lost all food - called repairman to fix it & filed a loss on homeowners insurance [I had a rider to cover refrigerator loss]; worked great for about 7 more months; came home & found the same thing. This time in addition to losing food we lost at least $1,000 in **. Called repairman & filed a loss on insurance--has a $500 limit less $100 deductible so I didnt really get anything for the drug loss. Went & purchased a new Whirlpool French Door to replace it & moved it into laundry room to use for drugs which take up at least 1/4 of the space. Was working ok as far as I knew & last week came home & found the same problem 60+ degrees in refrigerator & around 0 in freezer.Cleaned everything out & called a repairman--will not work on Samsung appliances; called every repairman in our area - no one would come. Was told I would have to call a Nationwide Repair Company & gave me a phone number. When I called the minimum trip & diagnosis would be around $200 - then there would be labor & parts charged for repair. Also could not come for at least a week. I had to have a refrigerator to store ** & other drugs requiring refrigeration. Called insurance & cannot file a 3rd claim on same appliance so Im out another refrigerator of food & hoping it was caught early enough not to damage the **. I went out & spent $250 on a used refrigerator for the drugs. Have been researching online & found out that Samsung knew they had this problem, did not do a recall & ended up getting the class action suit against them cancelled. I will never ever buy anything Samsung again.

They said they were gonna come and see the damage to fix it, but they never showed up. We called again and they said we didnt qualify for it cause it was our fault that it broke. When we had another stove for 14 years that wasnt Samsung and it was perfectly fine for 14 years. We got the new stove thinking that it would be so much better, but its not. I called for repairs and was forwarded to some service agent who never called. This occurred on two occasions. On my third call, I was sent to another service company who wanted $175 to replace the ice maker. Needless to say, the warranty had run out by this time, and Samsung refused to warranty the product, even though I was in contact with them within the 1 year warranty period. I also have had issues with Samsung hard drives I purchased for my office, and all failed. I also have a laptop with issues. I have recommended to my family never to purchase another Samsung product.

We purchased a Samsung french door refrigerator in 2012. It has an external ice and water, along with the bottom freezer and a drawer that has various options. Since 2014, we have had significant problems with the ice maker. The repair person has been here 5-6 times attempting to fix what he calls a manufacturing and engineering defect. Apparently he has seen this problem multiple times. It doesnt make ice, then it makes ice but it all melts and refreezes in a solid block. It continued this cycle over and over until it burned out its fan. Multiple calls to Samsung have gotten me nowhere except that I have now spent nearly $1000 trying to fix a $2500 appliance that is still brand new.

We have had it fixed repeatedly during the last year at $100 minimum each time only for the problem to return within a month. Now it is every two weeks. I have learned what to look for, what sounds to listen for and to take the back panel off to defrost it myself. Granted it is 8 years old but as much as it cost it should have lasted much longer. This has to be one of the worst refrigerators (Samsung 28.5 capacity, French door with freezer below) ever made. The ice maker would make ice sporadically. Sometimes there was enough ice to get through a day. Most of the time we had to rely on trays of ice that we purchased separately out of frustration. The shelves that hung on the doors were so poorly designed that they often broke off which caused many disasters with broken condiments and such. I know the shelving problem is not isolated to our refrigerator. A friend had the same model and every one of his shelves were also broken. Currently my shelving is patched together with tons of duct tape. Now to make things worse only 7 years old and the compressors has stopped working. I would caution anyone who is considering a Samsung refrigerator to reconsider.

Appalled by the way Samsung and Lowe’s have treated me. My brand-new Samsung electric range did not work properly from day one! After multiple calls speaking with agents who attempted to have ME fix the issues while they were on the phone, Samsung reluctantly sent a service repairman to my home. C & E Appliances sent someone who admitted they knew Nothing, about cooking. The first thing he did was blame me for buying a stove which offered the rapid boiling option! Secondly, he snidely stated, I bet you never read the manual to your stove. Both statements were untrue! I bought this stove as part of an appliance package. I purchased them for various reasons, but NOT one included rapid boiling. I have read the manual many, many times and worked with Samsung employees to fix the issues. The repairman explained that other people were having similar issues with baking; especially bread and cakes. He stated he didnt know anything about baking. He also told me he didnt know anything about simmering! According to the stove’s manual simmering occurs when your knob is placed on Low. (See pg. 35) My stove will not simmer, and my oven does not bake evenly. Since the repairman did not know why I needed to simmer I explained a few things about some of my favorite recipes. Most of them require simmering at a specific temperature. “Simmering cooks the food gently and slowly, allowing it to maintain its structure in ways that are impossible with boiling.”C & E’s repairman advised me to preheat my oven for an extra 15 minutes prior to baking. He also said I should bring my rice to a boil on one burner, transfer the pot to another burner and turn the knob below the Low setting to simmer. I have lots of photos to prove his advice did NOT work. Samsung drew my complaints out with self-help fixes which did not work. Soon after the first serviceman left Samsungs 1-year warranty expired. Based on the recommendation of Lowes salesperson, I had purchased a 5-year extended warranty, which turned out to be worthless. Lowes sent me the exact same man to look at my stove! The warranty clearly states if Lowe’s or Samsung can’t fix it they will replace it. I have taken this matter as far as any of your companies’ phone systems will allow. Promises from those claiming to be corporate managers have been broken.A 2nd repairman came out to investigate. He checked the brand-new pots I had purchased for my brand-new stove and they were fine. He had absolutely no idea what was wrong and suggested I use the back burners to simmer, or the warming center. Neither is possible. The smaller burners in the back are not large enough to simmer soups, stews, sauces or rice. According to the manual, and common sense, the pot or “Pan should not hang over the element by more than one-half inch.” (See pg. 37.) The temperature on the small warming center is not high enough to simmer, nor is the element big enough to accommodate a larger size pan. (See pg. 50.) I made a formal complaint to the BBB concerning C & E Appliance. Preparing a formal complaint to BBB for Lowes and Samsung.

We purchased a refrigerator on July 29 2017 MODEL RF26HFENDSR/AA and started having noise problems shortly thereafter. This purchase was for a property we were retiring to and we were not there all the time for the first 7 months. Once we moved in there we noticed loud banging noises coming from the fridge at random times. These noises were so loud they woke us in the night.I initially called Samsung about this in early June of 2018. They sent a technician out but the sound did not happen while he was here. As we were in a remote area it took over 4 weeks to get him to come out. After this I was constantly on the phone trying to find out what they would do next and they finally asked me to send them an audio file of the sound. Which I did. They in turn sent it to Samsung and Samsung tells me this was normal. I called them several times after that and then in Oct they refused to even talk to me as they said it was now not in warranty. At that time I pointed out that the problem was there before the warranty was out and they said it didnt matter it was not their problem now. At that point I called Lowes where I purchased the fridge as I had a 4 year extended warranty with them. They sent the same company out again and the Technician was here all of 10 minutes, changed a setting on the fridge and left. This did not solve the problem. After numerous calls to both Lowes and the repair company of Lake City furnishings in Williams lake they finally came back with an email from Samsung saying that the noise was something that happens to only a few fridges and will disappear after 1 or possibly more than 2 years. This is not an acceptable resolution to me and I feel I have wasted countless hours on the phone with Samsung, Lake City and Lowes to no proper resolution.

We purchased this range in the Fall of 2016, Model #NE58K9430, with digital dials. There are several things that are disappointing. It is very hard to keep the glass top clean (this is not my first glass top range). Cannot use pot or pan that is not smooth on the bottom as it will scratch the surface. Consequently, I had to purchase new cookware. If you get too close to the digital panel, even your clothes will make it come on. If you get too close, the lock will come on and the only way to get it off is to flip the fuse box!!! I am short and reaching over to clean the top, the timer button will come on, the warmer button will come on, the self clean button will come on, and that is with only clothing touching. I am at the point of throwing this in the garbage dump. No wonder Lowes had it on sale, which even at $1000 it was no deal. Cannot find order info, but was purchased at Lowes Hardware, N. Its a hunk of junk, bought in late January 2011. Its the same model as everyone else and the same life expectancy. My story is even worse. I bought it for $400 in Canada + paid $100 for install. Door spring broke at 1 year 10 months old. It was out of warranty and I couldnt fix it myself, so it cost $160 for someone to come diagnose and then fix it. So $660 was the price tag. Then it died 2 months later. There was no error code like everyone else, just went dead. It could be something simple but, after reading this list of complaints, I am throwing it. And I bought a new LG instead. I wont buy a Samsung appliance again. I got a 5-year extended warranty this time, $700 all in, including installation. That means in two years, Ive spent $1400 on OTR microwaves! How insane!

The one make noise, because, ice inside small fan. Now warranty past already, from now I have to do it if noise come back after few more month from now.. My family hate it. Want throw it away.

I had my Samsung side-by-side fridge repaired less than a year ago. The fan motor sounds like a lawn mower and it has started up again. It stops when you open the freezer door but as soon as it closes, the noise starts right back up. It is constant and driving me crazy, not to mention, embarrassing when you have guest visiting. I will have to call out a repair guy again. The last one said there was ice build that was causing the noise. This is the worst purchase of my life! This product is less than 3 years old!

Purchased new February 2017. Went on vacation in July and when we got home the French door refrigerator was not working and everything in it was ruined. Started calling Samsung for warranty repair. What a freaking nightmare. Finally got a service tech out in September!!! He ordered parts and came back 10 days later, installed new circuit board. Still would not work. Said he would get back with Samsung to authorize replacing compressor. Never called back. We called him and he said Samsung told him not to work on it any more. WTF. Called Samsung. They said they had authorized a different repair service to fix it. Never heard from them.Called Samsung again. They said the new service company was not able to service it? So they would just refund us our money. It is now November 16th. No refrigerator for 3 months. No refund yet. Called again today. Samsung said they would call with refund info in 2-5 days. I think this company should be known as Samdung as that would be more fitting. Three months in Texas with no fridge and 28 miles from closest grocery store. AAAUUUGH.

SAMSUNG BUYER BEWARE - Do not buy a Samsung refrigerator!! We have had nothing but trouble since we bought ours (model #RF263BEAESR) a few years ago. Usually people that right good reviews have only had their refrigerator for a month or two. Ours worked well for the first year and then the trouble began. The icemaker broke first (it costs four to five hundred dollars to replace it) and then the defrost sensor broke (two hundred and fifty dollars to replace it). Now they say maybe its the fan - its never ending. Its a very pretty refrigerator but thats about it. There is a class action lawsuit on the ice maker and the fan and defrost sensor will soon follow. We have had Samsung certified repairmen out six times and one of the repairmen said that there is a design flaw on the refrigerator and that we should expect to keep having someone out to put a band aide on the problem.Samsung knows there is a design problem and they will do nothing to fix it. When we call Samsung they go through their written script and are worthless. We have escalated the matter and they always tell us that they will review our claims and get back to us in three to five days. They never call back. When we call them back they conveniently disconnect our call or they tell us that they cant hear us and they hang up. The Samsung call center is in the Dominican Republic. I felt I had to warn others before they made the same mistake we did in buying this horrible refrigerator. Do not buy a Samsung refrigerator, you will regret it if you do!

Do not buy Samsung. Do not use Sears to repair appliances. Our relatively new Samsung refrigerator Model RB215BSSW has the freezer on the bottom. The refrigerator freezes the vegetables in the vegetable drawer. We paid Sears $350 to replace the control panel but that did not fix the problem. Sears was clueless. They were guessing at how to fix it. So much wasted money!! Do not buy Samsung!!!

I have the bottom freezer, split door fridge model. I bought it solely because the GE Profile I had for over 10 years finally needed replacement (due to some cosmetic damage - no issues involving its functioning) and the Samsung was literally the only model that would fit into the custom space in my kitchen. Within the first months I noticed a lot of water pooling in the bottom below the crisper drawers and then in the crispers themselves. I stopped using them all together and then about a month after the 1 year mark (when the warranty ran out), the left door stopped closing appropriately. In fact, the only way to close it is to manually manipulate the fold and then close the opposite door. I finally got a service appointment, took a day off from work to wait and was told that the part has to be ordered and it will cost me $320!!! What an absolute piece of garbage.

I will NEVER buy another Samsung product ever again. BUYER BEWARE. To say I am frustrated and disappointed would be a gross understatement!!! We purchased our Samsung French Door fridge RF31FMEDBSR 3 yrs and 4 months ago. We spent $2200 on it thinking we were buying quality. Boy were we wrong!!! The seal has disintegrated twice, the ice maker works on and off and the shelf on the door came crashing down one morning on my sons foot sending glass jars crashing all over the floor and bruising his foot. I can no longer affix the shelf as the door is torn down to the insulation.I have attempted to get straight answers on this since Dec 21, 2016. I have noted names and dates of people I have spoken to each time. Like many others I was told to contact EEFIX a local authorized repair company to come out and diagnose the problem to the tune of $80. I was also told that I would be reimbursed for that cost once EEFIX uploaded the info on their end. Let the merry-go-round begin.I did everything I was told to do, and all I got was a lot of empty promises and now what seems to be untruths. Fast forward to today, Mr. Derek in Greenville proceeded to tell me that Samsung would do nothing because EEFIX did not leave any documentation. Of course, I called myself, to hear that they couldnt diagnose that the door was defective but broken. HECK!!! I knew that! What did I pay $80 for? Where is my refund? Oh I know Samsung isnt in the business to service just take money for cheap products that they are well aware are having issues. This is my 1st stop, next will be BBB and then small claims court. I will become their worst social media nightmare. All I want is my refund and door fixed.

I will NEVER purchase any Samsung products ever again. I will also let everyone I know to never purchase Samsung products. I purchased a Samsung refrigerator one year and almost a month ago. The refrigerator has completely stopped working because Samsung put a faulty part in the fridge. They will not do anything to help me or fix this problem because the warranty is one year and it has been 22 DAYS past the warranty. Samsung has told me I will have to pay $160 just to look at the refrigerator + parts which they would not disclaim to me an estimate of how much the part could cost. I had a technician (not from Samsung) come out and look at the fridge prior to calling Samsung and they saw that Samsung had put in a cord that was supposed to have 3 prongs but was broken and only had 2 prongs. They informed me that they could replace the part which would be at least $250 dollars. However that still will not guarantee if the refrigerator will still work because the faulty part might of completely damaged the fridge for good. The technician informed me that I was lucky because the refrigerator could have completely blown up due to the faulty part. I called Samsung after I had learned what the issue was and they would not do anything about it unless I paid for them to fix the fridge and they did not guarantee that even after paying that if the fridge still does not work that they would do anything about it. They basically told me that I would have to keep paying more money to get it fixed because the warranty was up 22 days ago and it is now no longer their fault. What company puts a BROKEN part into an expensive and large purchase putting a household family in danger and then doesnt own up to it nor replace the part?! This is the worst customer service I have ever received my whole life and I am 55 years old and have owned many homes and many appliances in my lifetime. Samsung makes faulty products that are a danger to the consumer and then charges the consumer ridiculous amounts of money to fix it. What a greedy, dishonest, unreliable and manipulative company. Do NOT buy a refrigerator from them!!!!

Houseful of Samsung Appliances and now I am stuck. Microwave takes forever to boil a cup of water for tea. Cheap handle broke off after 2 years. Dishwasher doesnt clean dishes, you must basically wash by hand before you put them in. French door refrigerator crapped under 3 yrs. Paid over $900 to fix. Icemaker was part of that fix, now a little over a year it stopped working again. Stove knobs all broke off gas stove... under 3 yrs old. Also dont bother using the cleaning mode on your gas stove. Its known to get so hot it fries the circuit board. Costly repair I had on that one.Washer tears clothes and cant use bleach anymore because it goes through the compartment prematurely and blotches my load. TVs lasted no more than 3 years and my phone sucks. I have wasted so much money let alone time waiting for service people to show... or not to show. Customer service... a total joke. Never willing to resolve issues. I have over $8000 in home appliances and electronics that, unfortunately dont know when they will see their day. But when its time, Samsung will never again be my choice. Cant afford to buy junk anymore. But they dont care. They got my money. Dont let them get yours!

Now the ice maker is dripping water inside the refrigerator. Great looking and good features, but never would buy it again or any other Samsung product. I purchased a Samsung rf267aers refrigerator 12/01/09. The issue with this unit is the following. We the owners of this unit all (have) the same problem. Lousy design of defrost system allows the defrosted water to freeze in the discharge tube so it overflows into the lower platform under the pull out shelf. When it freezes, it freezes the roller wheel on the bottom of the shelf in the layer of ice and it wont move until you defrost the fridge to the point it releases. There are YouTube videos of how to defrost the coils but Samsung has known about this forever and wont fix it.So every month I remove the bottom tray and remove the built up ice slab. Now I have called samsung several times. Samsungs directions defrost the refrigerator. But even that process DO NOT solve the problem. ONCE unit was turned on again the SAME problem returned. I once inquired to samsung tech people how much it would cost me to fix the problem $700-$800 with NO GUARANTEE. BUT THEY WOULD put the old parts back. Of course I would have to pay for the labor for the install and removal that was about $165-320. Samsung bad NEWS.

Samsung RS267TDPN - Do your research before considering this model! I have owned mine barely 3 yrs and have had major problems with the freezer side two times. In both cases, the freezer side seized to cool properly. In this last round, the temperature was 25-40 degrees (f) and would not get any cooler which meant the ice maker also stopped working. The first problem was repaired while under warranty. For my current problem, I am now having to pay out of pocket to replace the evap temp sensor and the Heater sheath assembly due to burnt wires. These are part of the EVAP assembly and are located in the lower freezer section and behind a plastic panel thus I assume it to be a defect with the unit and not something that could have been caused by user neglect. I also owned a Samsung over-the-range microwave oven which failed prematurely therefore I now question the quality of Samsung kitchen appliances.

RF266ABPN - Wrote a complaint on here in August 2013 about our Samsung 2-door fridge which kept pooling water and the back inside kept freezing with frost. We spent so much time always removing items, defrosting, scooping out water, etc. etc. UPDATE!! Finally hubby was able to fix problem himself. We have had no problems for 2+ years. He turned off energy saver mode and put paper clips in the drain tubes located at the bottom back of fridge to keep them open. They are used as spacers so probably any similar item would work. We are still not sure if the energy saver turnoff or paper clips did the trick but... after countless repairman and useless Samsung, just wanted to report what worked for us! No problems for 2+ years! I weirdly got a reminder about this review so came here and saw still horrific reviews... Hope this helps at least one person!Updated on 08/11/2018: We officially gave up on this refrigerator and brand in 2016. Our original problem (freezing/icing over) came back in full force, freezing, motoring, water pooling, even after my husband was able to temporarily fix it. Bottomline: We took it to the dump, This model is severely flawed.

I bought fridge, stove, microwave, dishwasher from Leons in Canada. The extended warranty has been the best money Ive ever spent - ever. Excluding the microwave, in the three years since I bought them, Ive had close to TWENTY service calls on the three appliances. There have been numerous problems. The stove was arcing 220 Volts onto the chassis of the appliance, the top spontaneously (really!) cracked. The burner switch burned out. The ice maker in the fridge has had 5 service calls, drips water on the floor every time you open the door and still ices up regularly. The dishwasher leaves debris on the dishes even though I rinse most food waste off the dishes and they claim it has a food disposal feature. I just had multiple components including the pump and fill module replaced. Dont buy any household appliances by SAMSUNG. They are poorly designed and cheaply made.

I purchased a Samsung refrigerator RF263AEBP in 7/2010 from PC Richards. The extend warranty I purchased has ended and the rubber sealant on my doors is just peeling off. I called Samsung to let them know that is not common for a 3 year old refrigerator and was told that the manufacture warranty of one year was over. I told them this is a workmanship issue. You would not expect the rubber sealant to be peeling off for no reason on both my french doors and my freezer. I escalated my call to the Executive Relationship Department and was basically told it was my problem and they could schedule me for an out of warranty appointment that I would have to pay for or I could purchase a Samsung Protection Plus warranty plan that would then cover the repair. I am disgusted with the reply from Samsung. A basically new refrigerator not even four years old should not be coming apart like that especially when its not an exposed area. Im writing this review because I suspect that I am not the only one with this issue.

The best thing you can do is stay away from any Samsung Refrigerator. I did my research and Samsung was one of the top brands - big mistake. They have several problems that seem to be across all their refrigerator models. Ice makers leak or freeze up, motherboards go bad, valves malfunction, the list goes on. It wasnt until I started having all these problems - after 5 years - and I googled them to find out these problems are very common. I now have a 5 yr. old refrigerator that I paid $2500.00 for and is in need of over $1,200.00 of repairs. Samsung will not help. They say get the repairs done - and you have to use their service department - and then they will see if they can help. No, not going to do it. Samsung RF263 French Door with bottom freezer - We bought this less than 3
Samsung RF263 French Door with bottom freezer - We bought this less than 3 years ago. The first BRAND NEW fridge we have ever purchased. We got it because it was supposed to be excellent and we were told that Samsung is reliable. Im a teacher who spends extremely long hours at work and my husband travels for his job. We NEED reliable. The first few months, I noticed mold in the door seals. Weird, I thought. It seems like the seals on the doors are not very good, then -- and then the freezer would build up all kinds of horrible frost on the outside AND inside of things. It would do this off and on for no rhyme or reason.... Then, a few weeks ago, everything in the back of the fridge started to freeze. Not a lot, just a little. I checked temps, etc, moved stuff around. My summer vacation just began (this is when teachers actually begin to have semi-normal lives, go on Dr. appts, fix appliances, etc), and we went out of town for the weekend. When we returned early today in order to go to a funeral, I heard the fridge making an odd sound. Opened it up, and the entire back is iced over, just dripping in mini-ice bergs. We empty the whole thing, try to remove the back -- no dice. It wont budge. We use a hairdryer to remove the ice and let it sit while we attend the funeral (freezer is working alright, or at least as okay as it ever was, which isnt so great). We come home and it is not working. At all. I looked online and saw literally DOZENS of complaints, all the same.We are thinking we will just go out and purchase a new fridge -- costs of repair will probably be as much as a new one eventually. Based on reviews, it looks like it would do no good to keep repairing it over and over. This LEMON that we paid a HUGE price for is wasting our time. Im thinking of going back to Craigs list and purchasing a second hand fridge -- they run for years!!!!! Im SO angry!

David in Ohio, I had the same exact situation occur with my microwave. It was made in Feb of 2010. But I did not take possession of it until Sept of 2010. I was storing a freshly made chocolate cake in the microwave when I came home from work to smell a horrible odor of something burnt in my home. I freaked out and began searching for the cause. It wasnt until later that I noticed the code for a short on my microwave. I unplugged it and cleaned the horrible mess out of it. Then I re-plugged it in and reset the clock and tried to warm up a cup of water. Everything worked fine. So I thought, ok, that was weird, how did it turn on by itself? Then as I was going about other business, I heard the microwave turn on.... When I got to it the message screen said it was cooking in Baked Potato mode. Now that was crazy! So I have been without use of my microwave for a few days. I began looking online for any recalls. I did find a similar issue recalled back in early part of the 2000 decade. But nothing recently. Then I saw Davids post. My situation almost EXACTLY!!!! I did also post a complaint on Samsung Supports Facebook page. They replied with a link for me to go to and complete with info for them to get back in contact with me. We will see. I hope this company will stand up and make good on some type of faulty problem with their product. I would hate to have to buy another brand. I already have a Samsung range and was looking at replacing my current Kenmore dishwasher with a Samsung. All depends on how they handle this situation. Obviously it is a mfgs defect. Not caused by anything I did.

I bought a Samsung Refrigerator model #RF263BEAESR 2.5 years ago. It was over $2,500.00. It has had very light use and out of the blue the freezer stopped working. Called Samsung and they sent technician to diagnose. Cost $125 for them to tell me the compressor has stopped working. After many emails back and forth and telephone calls to Samsung - most can hardly speak English, Samsung will pay for the part but NOT the labour. The labour costs are estimated at $900 to install the compressor. Really Samsung. Thats how you back your products? No one expects a fridge to only last 2.5 years. Never will I buy Samsung again. Its just a scam. These new appliances from Samsung just dont last and when a part goes unexpectedly they do not back up their product. They want you to buy a new one because in the end its probably cheaper. Well I may be buying a new fridge but it wont be a Samsung.
