I purchased this about 16 months ago. Loved the ability to make it into 2 ovens. Unfortunately even though its a self cleaning oven it got too hot when it cleaned the oven and fried the electronic board, so I paid 475.00 to fix a almost new stove. Sounds like over heating stoves and phones is a major problem for Samsung.

We spent $3000 on this model fridge in 2016. By all accounts based on what Ive read about this issue, Samsung has known about the ice maker issue this model has since 2015 and did nothing to stop the sale of the fridges. The first time it happened, it being that the ice maker frosting over and water leaking out from the ice maker opening, it was two years after purchase and out of warranty, so we called a local technician. He charged us $370 to fix the issue. He said it was a very common issue with Samsung fridges and it had been going on for years. Two months after he left of course the issue came right back. Samsung is now changing its tune and is stating that they will pay for the ice maker itself and help us find a technician to come out and replace the ice maker. It will cost us another $250 to have the ice maker replaced and there is no guarantee that the new ice maker is any different than the one its replacing. My sister-in-law has the same fridge and has the same issue. My good friend has had other Samsung appliances lately and they have been terrible in terms of reliability. I am telling everyone I know to never buy a Samsung product again.

My Samsung refrigerator ice maker is leaking and icing up. I had an appliance repair company look at the problem and was informed that the repair would require the replacement of the ice maker, auger motor kit and clip pack. The parts totaled $497.39, plus $165 labor along with $39.07 tax, total $686.46. The repairman gave me all the part replacement information and recommended that I contact Samsung Customer service since the problem I am having is common for this model, RF28HMEDBSR/AA. The customer service rep looked up the serial number and said that the ref is three years old and that the ice maker is only under warranty for one year. I said, You mean that Samsung believes that the ice maker should only last one year plus and the ref and freezer should last five years. He stated that he could do nothing because that is the Samsung policy. My recommendation is DO NOT PURCHASE A SAMSUNG REFRIGERATOR!

Their own authorized repair depot says they can put in a new water pump but wont guarantee it because my dishwasher is 2 farther to the right than is usual. That is, frankly nonsense. Theyve been here twice, then told me to hire a plumber to fix his mess. That cost another $185.00. They cannot diagnose the problem. With all the testing the steam peeled the laminate off my brand new cabinets. This dishwasher is nothing more than a money pit. My regular service man refused to service it saying that Samsung is garbage. No wonder it is so quiet. They may have well have put in a water pistol than that ineffective pump that is in there. I will never buy another Samsung appliance as long as I live. It has never worked. I stopped using it after the first week because the dishes came out as dirty as they went in, and has been sitting there for cosmetic reasons until I thought I might have it looked at. Now it just wont complete a cycle.

Purchased a Samsung Dishwasher that never dried the dishes properly but failed after 5 years and 1 month, 1 month after the warranty period. Contacted Samsung but did not receive any relief. Purchased a Samsung Electric Stove FTQ353IWUX in May 2012 and registered with Samsung.com. In August 2015, the oven sometimes failed to work. I was able to switch between Convection and Regular mode and sometimes cajoled the oven into working. Received an error code one time, it was E08. Stove will not longer heat up. The LED reads 150 degrees and the appliance does a lot of clicking, but will not heat up.Oven lasted roughly 3 years, 3 months. Was told by Samsung that the glass top only is warrantied for five years, the oven just one year. Could purchase a Samsung warranty but would cost several hundred dollars and the part (control board, etc.) would be warrantied for only one year. Contacted numerous appliance fixing businesses but all, including Sears, wanted $99 just to diagnose what is wrong. Very disappointed in Samsung and will never buy another Samsung appliance. Would like to join others in any ongoing class action lawsuit against Samsung.

I bought this Samsung refrigerator RSG5FUPN three years ago and today I can testify that it was one of the worst shopping in my life (and I have over 40 years of experience with other refrigerators). It has many defects related to the quality of materials: A long crack (about 40 cm in length) was created in the inner wall of the freezer. At the bottom of the kiosk door, rust (corrosion) was spreading. The doors color faded and yellowed. Internal shelves and covers are broken for no reason (during normal use). Drawers have places where dirt accumulates and cannot be cleaned.

I was heart-sick when I read all the horrible reviews for the Samsung refrigerators. I have only had model RS265TDRS for 6 months and it quit cooling 2 days ago. Tried the OnLineChat and was sent by the agent to a Samsung link that extolled how you should NEVER put a thermometer in the refrigerator to see what temp it is. I couldnt believe it. Then I put in a work ticket... and heard NOTHING. As I purchased the extended warranty through Conns the appliance store, they do warranty service as well, and when I heard nothing from Samsung.. I called them. They came out within 48 hours and told me the problem was the plastic cover over the coils, and it would take 3 to 5 business days to get the part. I nearly died. I explained this is my only refrigerator and they didnt seem to care. I agreed and after we plugged up the open spaces around the coils with small strips of quilt batting he left. The cooling element does seem to be working... as the vegetable drawers are 42 degrees... but up on the top shelf it is 60 degrees. How do I know??? I left the horrible thermometer they wanted me to immediately take out... in the unit. Now.... the door is telling me that the refrigerator is 34 degrees... but it is not. I FINALLY got the local service company contact information from them... however... the online chat lady said I had to file a work report with them first and then I could call the repair company directly and give them the work order. So! Lets start a lawsuit.... This is insane... to that poor couple who had been using a cooler for over 30 days... I went online and purchased a small GE fridge that I will keep in the garage... or get one sized for a dorm room... to keep your meds in... I am ready to fight them on this one...

I remodel my whole kitchen! I went to lowes for appliances, bought Fridge, stove, microwave hood range and dish washer! 1st week the ice maker stopped working, got that repaired! Two weeks later, the freezer went out! Lost 60$ of meat in freezer!! So Lowes replaced whole unit free of charge!! The 2nd fridge came, it stopped working within 1 week of running! Called Samsung, they told me to open back panel and hit reset button in back! Did that and it started to work again! Well the next 3 days the ice maker quit again! Samsung got it repaired, 3 weeks later it went out again! Since then it has been 5 months without a hitch!Meantime, Microwave Hood range stopped working, repairman came out, order a couple of parts replaced them, still didnt work. Lowes replaced unit!! 2 months of running the 2nd one started to make a loud vibration!! Repairman came out to see, said it was loose in casing! While looking at that he opened lite part and it was broken, the light fixture itself! The pins that hold lite up was broken! Wait for Buy Back on that! He also came to look at dishwasher cause it was make a loud noise, also which it didnt do it in past! Repairman said the Motor is going out!! So it is on order!Stove on other hand, the back leg that holds unit leveled was bent and could not be fixed, got it replaced! On 2nd stove the front window has water leak condensation from cooking and there is no way to clean it!! On all the appliances I was told they were top of the line! Stainless steel, in which I cannot keep clean, there is like streaks on all of them and no matter what I use, very good cleaner still cant remove stains from them! The repairman told me the SS is very cheap kind of SS, and that is why there are stain on them! All of this has happened from April 15th 2013 till now! And Samsung warranty is one yr, in which they want me to buy new warranty!! Even though I have had 3 of them replaced, it still goes back the date of purchase! Im currently building up my report to have Samsung buy back all of them!!! Im so very upset about this!! In which they are giving me a run around trying to do this!! My time is running out for warranty! And Im so scared they will not last for much longer!! I need help from an outside source. Please anyone out there! Im disabled cause of a semi crash I was in, and the money I used is all I have left from this upgrade! Thanks for read my report.

They offered me a store credit and went so far as to give me a number to fax my sales receipt to in order to facilitate said credit and later told me they dont even do store credits!!! Bought the dishwasher in 7/2017. Have had 3 repairs in 10 months and even when its working it does a terrible job and I want it removed and a refund. They absolutely refused despite repeated phone calls even up to someone at the office of the president who gave me the same line. NO REFUNDS, exchange only. No thank you. About one year after I purchased my Samsung dishwasher (DMT800RHS), we began getting error messages and problems with dishes. We had a Samsung authorized tech come out at $250 expense to ourselves and he found a bunch of plastic pieces the color of the racks in the pump impeller. Nearly 6 months later, we had the same issue and had a local tech come out. For another $75, he retrieved the same rack colored pieces of plastic out of the pump. Tonight, we had a third tech come out and retrieve more rack pieces out of the pump. I have attached photos of the rack adjuster, where every plastic attachment is broken on both sides. These have broken during operation. I hope this review helps someone choose carefully when purchasing a dishwasher, and avoid the headache that we have been dealing with.

#1. Ice maker froze up. From internet, learned this is a common defect. Had to trim plastic parts and dismantle ice maker to fix. #2. Very difficult to clean shelves and drawers. Gunk gets under glass and inside (!) of drawer fronts. You have to use a screwdriver to pry open plastic tabs. The prying process tends to chip the plastic permanently damaging the pieces. Other than these major design flaws, the refrigerator has kept food well. But being able to clean ones refrigerator easily without damaging it is such a basic critical design feature for me that I will steer me away from Samsung products in the future.

We purchased the French Door/Freezer on Bottom from Best Buy. 2 ice makers! Model Number RF28MFEDTSR/ AA. It has the ice maker in frig. area and one in bottom of freezer. 5th day of owning it... filter light came on -- upper ice maker jams every other day -- crushed ice portion has never worked -- its not crushed -ever. And it takes over 2 mins for 4 oz... (yeah youre standing forever for sml amount). Long drawer/fresh veggies or whatever... becomes frozen constantly -- we are weekly taking everything out to get all the water and ice out! Funny thing is we did a consumer report before buying a Frig. This model was new on market and very expensive. Its a piece of junk. Samsung should recall all of these -- its obvious there are hundreds with same problem... Oh yeah -- we also bought washer (front loader) dryer both with all the bells and whistles -- from Best Buy -- (Dryer only goes 40 mins in 1 setting) - its takes almost 2 hrs to dry 10 towels -- (Electric) -- after 3 months... washer doesnt hold as much as its supposed to! Again paid a fortune for all 3... new on market! Honestly wished we had our old Kenmore products back. You couldnt pay me to buy a Samsung product ever again.

I bought a Samsung refrigerator a year ago. I started to notice the temperature will rise in the freezer then drop causing food to sweat and frost over causing ice to stick together and not go through the icemaker. Called Samsung multiple times and got the runaround from one department to another department never heard back. The ice cubes are so big they get stock in the opening and fails to fall into the cup. Because the temperature fluctuates ice cubes sweat stick together when the temperature drops again now theyre too big to fall through the opening so youre constantly taking the icemaker tray out breaking up the ice. Called back Samsung and now refrigerator is 6 months out of warranty. They’ve now given us a ‘case manager.’ Who has never called back. Every two months we have to take all food from refrigerator, store it in coolers, apply hair dryers for most the day till we Can take off the back panel And get to the fan which is encased in a block of ice. Another couple of hours to defrost that. Can’t afford a new refrigerator, furious and unfair when Samsung has thousands of complaints like this and a class action suit filed in 2015, 2017 and 2019. We bought a Samsung model RF28HFEDBSR refrigerator through Home Depot for the princely sum of $ 2400.00, in May 2014. From day one the unit has made a super annoying, loud buzzing noise when the refrigerator part cools. We contacted Samsung repair and the operator had us hold the phone near the refrigerator so she could hear the noise. Wow, that doesnt sound right!, she said. Samsung sent a repairman from Willowset TV who arrived 3 hours late. He said the RPMs of the fan were normal but was not competent enough to diagnose the problem. Did I mention he reeked of body odor? Now we lie awake at night listening to a sound like a weed whacker coming from our new refrigerator. We are disgusted, to say the least. Called Samsung again yesterday and they said they would send another repairman. I asked where he was coming from and the operator said, Monterey, you live in California, right? No, I answered. Bought the Samsung French door refrigerator in 2014. In 2015, it stopped cooling twice. Had to be thawed at home since it is already out of warranty. Which is ridiculous. Samsung service is of no assistance. Just refer you to a local repair shop who refers you elsewhere because they refuse to service Samsungs products. If I had known about the short life of this refrigerator and the inability of it to perform its only job of cooling food, Id have definitely switched to another brand before the purchase of this $1,500 piece of pretty - looking junk. Samsung has been made aware of this design flaw for years, but due to selfishness and greed have refused to address the issue, fix / redesign the problem coils, or even recall their junk refrigerators. They have done a huge disservice to their consumers by allowing these pieces of junk to remain on the market without fixing the issues. I feel they should be made to recall the problem appliances. We lost over $300 in food and even the babys formula. Theres no excuse to sell high priced junk to consumers without standing behind your products. Bad business practices. Samsung should just stick with cell phones and computers. Their refrigerators are not worth the money or bad reviews. Just stay away!

As everyone on this site has the same problems with Samsung refrigerator. I bought it January 2016 and less than 3 months had to have the computer board replaced. It did not make a difference. The whole bottom of the refrigerator freezes and has to be defrosted if you want to open it and it will stop making ice. There is a light that comes on to tell me to change the water filter, but it does not have one. For the last month it puts water under the draws and freezes. It is out of warranty now. It still is not paid for. After reading all the reviews I realize I need a new refrigerator, while still having to pay off this one. The store HH Gregg is no longer in business. The microwave does not work properly, just plain junk. I do not know why this company is allowed to sell products in the U.S. They are just stealing our money and getting away with it. How could they not be compelled to have a recall on these refrigerators. Keep me informed of any action with this company, please.

They asked me to send a picture of the damage. They got back to me and called it consumer wear. I said, no its a defective finish. We went back and forth and finally, on December 5th they called me back and said its cosmetic and not covered. I said, the finish failed, and am I supposed to look at this for the next 8 years. They said I can get it fixed myself. In addition, the oven racks are so flimsy that when I had a 15 pound turkey in the oven the rack collapsed. Fortunately the other rack was right below and I was able to fix it. You have to remember to keep the pan in the center of the rack. Dealing with Samsung is worse than dealing with the VA. I will never buy another Samsung appliance. After reading the other reviews, Im really looking forward to some of the other problems I can have.

In 2015 I purchased a new Samsung electric range, dishwasher, fridge, washer & dryer from HHGREGG. I decided, because it was a large purchase, to opt in for the 5 year warranty on the oven, washer, and fridge which was through WarranTech. During the 4 years we had the oven I needed to be repaired 3 times. All separate issues. The last repair needed was due to the broiler element basically exploding, catching fire, and melting. We called the service plan and they had a repairman come out. He said he would order the new part and someone would contact me to schedule a repair. No one called after a week. I contacted WarranTech and was told they were reimbursing me for the current value minus the repair costs, so like $350. What!!!The washing machine was recalled due to the top becoming loose and possibly detaching. I was reimbursed the full purchase price. The fridge had countless issues with the ice maker which eventually was not repairable. I was reimbursed the current value minus the repair costs. I find it ridiculous that I spent thousands of dollars for appliances that became useless within 2-4 years. My $2000 fridge and $1000 oven are junk and yes I was reimbursed some money but I still paid a lot for essentially a broken appliances. It’s horrible and I would hate for anyone else to have to deal with this headache.

The plastic covers on certain sections of the interior are cracked. Would not recommend this unit to my worst enemy. Even though this unit lists for $2400 it is cheap cheap cheap.

Samsung Microwave Model SMH9207ST - I purchased the microwave in October of 2011 from Lowes as part of our total kitchen remodeling. Lowes installed the microwave but I was not satisfied with the looks of it as it there were several paint repairs on the inside white frame. I went to the store and explained my concern to the manager. He sent out a new microwave and prior to installing it, I noticed that there were also visible white paint repairs but not as many as the first one. We agreed to accept the replacement. Post installation, my husband and I did extensive traveling. Given the time we were gone, I would say the microwave was used approximately 1 year. Yesterday, the microwave quit working. Approximately 2 hours later, I checked it again only to notice that it was very, very warm. I unplugged it and then plugged it in again. The lights went back on the panel but it was very noisy. Within 15 seconds, all lights went off again and it did not work again. I opened the door and realized that the glass plate was very hot. We thankfully took an extended warranty on all our new kitchen appliances but I can honestly say that after reading all the negative reviews on this model, I do not feel safe with it. I will definitely unplug it when we leave our residence for extended lengths of time. I would not recommend this model to anyone. Too bad there isnt a Lemon Law for appliances like there is for autos.

The Samsung people were also not easy to reach nor helpful at all. At one point they actually hung up on me after only having their dishwasher for two months. Furthermore, I am more disgusted with Best Buy and the other large chains for promoting the sale of Samsung dishwashers. I should have read the reviews on Samsung first!

Brand new Samsung Electric Range NE59J7850 (March 2017) dual door bake/convection oven FAILS at baking. Console says preheat done and its off by 100 degrees. After another 20 minutes never reached temperature set for. Pizza turned out crusty on outside and raw on inside dough because the temperature was too LOW. Lasagna was ice cold in center after 2 hours because temperature was never attained. I did multiple tests on each oven and at different temp and none worked properly. Samsung has repair service come out and same problem... however when repair called Samsung there was NO fix for this problem. They apparently think its no big deal. Just wait forever for your oven to maybe get to set temperature and then guess how long it takes for a recipe to cook. Fail.Ordering new mother board and sensors but tech is convinced that wont fix the problem. Going back today to talk with sales department at JC Penney. They just started selling appliances and they need to know this is a poor design. Not their fault but if enough people want a replacement then they can put pressure on Samsung. Looking for replacement brand while there. I cant be bothered with an oven like this.

We paid top dollar for a Samsung dishwasher. I could not understand why it did not clean as well as my one that I got rid of that was over 15 years. It is old. I finally figured it out. You have to clean the dishes first before you put them in the dishwasher, new concept for a dishwasher. If you just scrape them off, in about a year you will have to replace the CASE Brake Assembly because particles get into it and you cant clean it out, as you once could in the older ones. The part is at least $80.00 not including labor. I have always heard you get what you paid for, not so with this, It is junk. Dont waste your money.

Oh, my gosh. 28cf French Door, luckily with a five-year extended warranty. After less than 2 years, plastic crisper drawers cracked. Since we just moved in, there was minimal items in drawers. They said it was normal wear and tear. Original owner was 85 years old, for goodness sakes. Last year, ice maker froze, was replaced, and froze again. Christmas 2018, whole back wall was all ice. Tech had to stream it to melt. Had to come back with part. Oops. Had to come back again with more parts because back wall was cracked. Samsung claimed it was cosmetic damage. I would not settle for that. Customer service is horrible! The extended warranty company did not want to cover cosmetic damage. I sent a full backup package, with a timeline, to our AG Consumer office and filed a complaint. Shortly after that, I received a check for the purchase price as a warranty buy out. DO NOT BUY A SAMSUNG!

I called twice in 6 months on the same problem. The first time was in addition to setting up a contact for an authorized repair person to come out. I was told that the problem was that the drain line was frozen and they suggested that I let the refrigerator and freezer completely thaw and this should take care of the problem. I did this for 4 hours with both doors open. I may have solved the issue for 4-5 days, but it returned. On my second call, I went through the same information again. This time I went through with having the authorized repair person. I took the day off to accommodate their window of availability. When the repair person arrived, he already knew what the issue was. He did remove one crisper tray and acknowledged that he could see where the water was coming from. He then told me that there is an upgrade that is out that will fix the problem. When asked, he told me that it would not be covered by warranty because it was an upgrade and not a fix. He was here for 10 minutes, which included his paperwork being done. They charged me $76.00 and then proceeded to tell me that the parts and labor would be $116.00; however, the parts are on back-order and so the repairs would not be done until October and this is September 11th. This, coupled with the thawing suggestion, tells me that is not a small issue. So I called Samsung and after 10 minutes on hold as the problem was being reviewed, I was transferred to the executive customer relations department only to be told that my refrigerator was past its one-year warranty and there was nothing they would do to satisfy my issue. Is it unreasonable for a product that costs $1300.00 to last longer than 3 years? So much for executive customer service”! They have my money and they didnt seem to think that they need anything else from me. What they fail to remember or maybe care about is that I (a consumer) will want to buy an appliance again and I have friends that will need to do the same!

Though they were Samsung certified, they were not warranty work certified and they were supposed to report back to Samsung. Waited a long time on hold, Samsung said their recommended company did not report back. Waited on hold a long time, and Samsung cant schedule a warranty company to fix this for another five days. While Samsung has become reliable in their TV and cellphone line, much improvements in quality are desired in their appliance line. A Samsung dryer - a recent model that I got, broke down within 1.5 years and their paid service appointment was more than a week wait, leaving the appliance downtown for the consumer. Samsung fridge that I bought had numerous issues including, water leaks that damaged wooden floor, fan not turning, icing in fridge section, sensors needing replacement and such, over the years of its use.Irony is that while these appliances are styled well with their electronics and such, underlying functional quality of their latest appliances as well was seen driven by relative poor quality components that will guarantee repairs past their warranty period. The feedback to the quality department is simple - learn from quality of LG and improve component quality to enhance on the on the functional reliability for the appliance to function trouble free for about 5 years at the minimum. Short of that, itll leave a bad taste in customer use, forcing them to look at brands with better quality.

This appliance (Over the Range 2.1 Cu.Ft. Microwave Oven) was bought in April, 2016 for $500.00. In April, 2018 the vent began turning itself when no one was using the oven & ion. August 13th a fire had just started while I was asleep. Luckily I woke up & was able to unplug the oven. 8/14/16 I contacted Samsung. I was hung up on or suddenly disconnected a few times but was finally given a repair ticket. A repair shop called on 8/16 and told my husband that he had to take the microwave off its mount by 8/20 because they were coming. Although Samsung was paying them they could only come at one particular time on 8/20 and would not reschedule. Also they refused to come unless the microwave was unmounted. Two people have to unmount the microwave so we had to arrange help or that was it! I called Samsung right afterward and they said the ticket was canceled. From then on we got the runaround and the gist of it was that wed have to pay $200.00 or the cost of a repair, not having any idea whether or not it could be repaired.

I purchased this refrigerator in July of 2017 for roughly $3,000 from Home Depot. After 4 months of use the Ice Maker began to fail to produce ice. Failures consisted of total freeze up of system ice dispensing unit, water leaks out of ice holding tray down front of refrigerator. After making numerous calls and chats to Samsung and multiple defrost actions, Samsung sent out a repair person to replace ice maker. Today I contacted Samsung and communicated that service repair didnt resolve the issues of total freeze up and water leaks from ice machine. I purchased my Samsung refrigerator (Model: RS277) almost 4 years to date. Ice maker will no longer make ice. After calling the service center, they dispatched a service call. When the representative called to schedule an appointment, they wanted $160 to come out and diagnose the issue. I dont agree with paying $2,800 for an item and getting 4 years of good use out of it, nor do I feel I should have to continue to invest in this item to keep it working, especially in this short period of time. I spoke to an Executive Relations representative, and they were of no assistance either. Pretty much sticking to their guns of driving revenue to service their junk. After reading other posts, I realize that my Samsung French Door with Drawer refrigerator is a real lemon and that I am one of thousands of unfortunate people who purchased this refrigerator! It appears that there is no customer service, so the refrigerator will just have to be trashed. Last year the ice maker quit, froze totally solid, could not be fixed by a refrigerator repair person. He couldnt thaw it and suggested we call Samsung. After several hours, actually 2 days, we thawed it with a hair dryer, hot water, etc.! We pulled the cube maker out and just used the ice maker area to make cubes placing an ice cube tray in the opening. Suddenly one day a year later it started making ice cubes, then it quit, now it is leaking water onto the floor. Today water just poured out of the ice maker area into the refrigerator! I came to this site to see if others were having similar problems with their Samsung Refrigerator, and found that I am only one among many who are out well over a thousand dollars, with no hope of getting assistance from Samsung. What a waste of money on this product! Why is there not a class action lawsuit against Samsung?

We replaced all of our kitchen appliances (Refrigerator, dishwasher, gas range, microwave) with Samsung appliances in Dec 2016. We reviewed the CR book and thought we picked a good one. Should have looked on here first. The ice maker froze up on Christmas Eve and then again in mid-January. We bought the 28 cu ft french door with bottom freezer. The ice maker is inside the refrigerator. The water leaks down behind the ice bucket and freezes around the mechanisms. It wont dispense ice and makes a loud knocking noise. The ice bucket is also nearly impossible to get out when this happens. We called Samsung for support and all 3 (yes 3) calls were handled horribly. They dont support their products or have a care in the world about providing customer service. The only way to resolve the issue... remove everything from the freezer and refrigerator and defrost it. This appears to be an ongoing issue and I am not looking forward to owning this refrigerator for the years I expected to. I understand appliances sometimes have issues and my 1-star rating of the appliance is largely geared towards the awful customer service provided by Samsung. A few years ago, I bought a Samsung oven/range/stove. Today, I pressed the self-clean button. The oven status display started beeping and displayed an error code E-0E and flashed an icon of a padlock. I researched trouble shooting, tried to reset, powered cycled, etc. Nothing worked. The oven no longer works - it only flashes the display - E-0E and there is no way to stop it. I called Samsung and after getting a magnifying glass and super bright light to read the M/C number and serial number ON THE BOTTOM OF THE OVEN, the lady told me the unit was out of warranty (big surprise). She then told me that for about $300.00 (about 40% of the price of the oven), I could buy a warranty and it would cover the repair. I said no - so they transferred me to a service number where they informed me it would cost about $225.00 for a service call to diagnose the problem. I asked them why the oven was equipped with a self-destruct button - and how it is possible that an oven could die after barely 2 years of light use. No answer.

Samsung informed a company called USSI to repair my fridge. USSI charged me $129.00 to have someone come out to diagnose the problem. They then charged me $438.09 for parts and labor. Nobody ever came back to fix the fridge. Kept getting a runaround from the technician and the company. Nobody had the courtesy to call me and tell me whats going on. Also, Samsung was of no help. They kept giving me the standard Im sorry youre having a problem. Had to get a local repair company to fix my fridge.

The Samsung dishwasher, while never doing a great job cleaning dishes (even when rinsed prior) at least continued with the cycle... except until after about a year. We bought a 5-year warranty on all our appliances, and the dishwasher is the main appliance where its been needed. But still only works for a month or two. IT IS A PIECE OF JUNK!!! Right now, we are trying to figure out how the remaining 3 years on our warranty can be prorated to exclude the dishwasher, and just go out and buy another dishwasher. This one is completely unreliable!!

I purchased an expensive french door Samsung refrigerator with bottom freezer from Lowes. When the refrigerator was less than a year old, I noticed the freezer was frosting up. But then the problem went away only to return a couple months later but this time the whole freezer iced up. Lowes said it was out of warranty so they gave me Samsungs number. A Samsung repairman came out and blamed the problem on not closing the door properly. He defrosted the freezer and after that, the freezer stopped working completely. A second call to Samsung and the same repairman showed up. This time he said to repair it, he would have to weld and refill the freon but that would cause a lot of smoke in the kitchen and there was some risk in bringing in canisters of flammable gas, etc. He wasnt too eager to do the repair and felt the refrigerator should be replaced by Samsung. Given his track record I wasnt confident about this repair. Samsung has refused to replace the refrigerator, pay for the labor to repair it, and send a different repairman. I will never purchase another Samsung product.

I purchased a Samsung Dishwasher (Model #DW80H9930US) from Tasco, on the ad
I purchased a Samsung Dishwasher (Model #DW80H9930US) from Tasco, on the advice of Tascos salesman. It was installed in November 2014. I had also purchased a 5 year warranty. By June 2015 my dishwasher was no longer working. I went into Tasco who told me I had to contact my warranty provider, who in turn advised that Samsung held the initial warranty for the first year. I contacted Samsung at the beginning of July and was told a technician would call. I never received a call. Two weeks later I contacted them again and as everyone has previously mentioned, the wait times are approximately 30 minutes to speak with someone at the first level customer service. A woman finally booked a date to have a technician come out. I waited all day and got a call from someone to then set up another date that was approximately 3 weeks later. The technician came to my home and I advised him that the soap dispenser was not opening. He attached his computer to my dishwasher and told me the waterfall technology was not working and my motor was defective, which in turn was why the soap was not opening. He advised they would be ordering a new motor and I would get a call within 2 weeks to set up another appt. He also told me off the record this dishwasher consistently breaks down and is not a good buy. I had to remove my baseboard for that visit noting the dishwasher is built in. He never left the name of his company or anything with me. 3 weeks later I still had not heard from anyone. I contacted Samsung again to speak with someone and they told me they would be in touch. I called again 3 days later and after 30 min and going through the story each time -- got disconnected. In August I finally called and was put through to the Executive department because I was told I could not speak to management. I spoke with a Brian representative ** who was extremely rude and just flat out told me that they would not even consider replacing the unit, even noting the issues wrong with it so early on and the reviews I had read. He gave me an email address sdr.seca@samsung.com to send through a complaint as there never seems to be a manager consumers can speak with. I sent an email with my issues on August 12 and then a follow up on August 18th, 2015, and have never received a response from Samsung. I called 2 more times and was still unable to get a technician or call back. In October I went back to Tasco for help and was told I should have contacted them for service. I contacted Tasco who then in turn left me hanging until the end of November. On Thursday, November 26, I received a call from a Peter ** at Samsung and was told the delay of 6 months was because I did not call the technician back to let him know the baseboard had been removed. That the dishwasher was not properly diagnosed and they dont even know what is wrong with it. He was reading very different information than anyone else I had spoken to and basically told me I was lying that it was the motor. He was so rude, condescending, and when I asked for his managers phone number, he gave me a wrong number. At this point I have a dishwasher that has not worked for 5 months and cannot get Samsung to help me at all. At this time, I would like the dishwasher replaced and it is now out of warranty. At this time I do plan to take Samsung and Tasco to small claims court if I have to, noting I have a dishwasher that does not work and now its out of the manufacturers warranty. I will never purchase or recommend a Samsung appliance to anyone and will deter anyone from them. I would not want anyone to have to endure the stress and frustration I have had to deal with and still have not had the problem rectified. So disappointing.

Spent 3 months with this service provider to fix my Samsung refrigerator. The results are my refrigerator is still not working after 100 days back and forth with the service. The service was covered by Samsung due to some product issue. But after spending hours to diagnosis and fix the issue, the fridge is still not working. Since then, I can never get contact to follow up again. Really sad that all the time is wasted and spent lots of time and money on it. Should buy a brand new fridge from the first beginning.

RM255BARB - The ice maker never worked right. It never gave us large ice cubes & ice cubes were mixed with crushed ice. It also stopped up all the time. A service man was called out so many times, I finally gave up. Now the bottom right door (this is a 4 door refrig.) rust started coming out of it. Called to see what is going on. After several phone calls & a visit from repairman on a $2800 refrig., about 7/12 year old machine, it has to be replaced. This is really disgusting because most people cant afford this kind of money every 7 years. I also have a Samsung in my garage as a back up with the freezer pull out drawer and I hate it. It is now freezing the food in the refrigerator part. Why cant these companies get their act together. I guess they think you will just go out and buy another of their products, but what they need to realize is people go to another company. Disgusted with Samsung.

Last September we had purchased a Samsung refrigerator. A month later the Slide and Reach pantry flap broke; very cheap design. I had some personal issues with my aging parents and was unable to do anything until May. First, I had difficulty communicating with the customer agent as well as being told that the part number in the manual may be different on their end. Really??? After almost 40 minutes they said the part would be shipped. On July 2, I called and again there was an issue understanding the reason why they did not ship the part. Again, after another 40 minute conversation trying to clarify what part I needed he assured me he understood and will ship the part. It finally came July 11. Guess what? WRONG PART. Sent me the drawer and not the flap! So, I call again. After 10 minutes of listening and not understanding the woman on the other end, I asked to talk to someone who spoke better English. After 10 minutes on hold, a supervisor (not speaking any better English) told me this part was not covered under the warranty to be shipped and that only a technician could order it; technician NOT covered under the warranty. At least, this is what I understood of the broken conversation. I will do my best to make sure that any major appliance purchased in the future will be made or serviced by the United States such as I have been trying to do with the things I purchase now.

Samsung makes a beautiful refrigerator. It is well-built with shelves and compartments. Please dont have a problem, because you can wait months for the replacement parts. Also, the phone support and their customer concern is deplorable. They give you constant run around and you can never speak to the same person. You must repeat what your problem is over and over again. They need a program to teach their employees better product knowledge and people skills. Samsung makes a beautiful product and then drops the ball with everything pertaining to the consumer. This has to be bad for repeat business. They make a sale but not a repeat customer!

RF263BEAESR/AA - One month and three days after date of purchase from Best Buy, the handle on the freezer drawer fell off. The threads on the plastic handle latch had been stripped by the stainless steel bolt inserted into it. The bolt was used to attach the right side of the handle. The Samsung repair rep. told me that since the handle worked when I purchased the refrigerator and no longer did, I had damaged the handle and thus the damage was not covered by the warranty.

We purchased the Samsung 3 door refrigerator in June of 2015. It started leaking water in July of 2016. Samsungs recommended repair company in our area has been to our home three times. Nothing theyve done has fixed the problem. The water has been turned off and disconnected and the line drained. After three water (or something) is still leaking into the deli drawer and onto the floor. We filed a formal complaint with Samsung last week, the only response weve gotten is that it was received. The guy who left the message said, You know, were a little busy right now. I will never buy another Samsung product. Looking for a class action suit to join, and found this. Stay away from anything Samsung!!

Samsung is a joke. Purchased a microwave that lasted only 3 years with minimal use. Got the SE error code. Called Samsung for help. They agreed to send out a service tech, well lo and behold NO ONE in my area will even deal with them. So basically Samsung told me it was my problem, but they were willing to repair it if a service technician was in my area. This process took me 3 weeks. I own a Samsung Refrigerator model RT33FARZASP/TL, purchased two and half years ago. The refrigerator bears 10 years warranty which is not cooling at all. I lodged a complaint with Samsung customer care, they sent their representative who said gas of the refrigerator has leaked out and I have to pay for the visiting charges and gas filling charges plus parts. When I said, its under warranty, he said warranty is only for compressor. I argued gas remains in the compressor only, and if it has leaked that means the compressor is not good but he didnt accept my argument and insisted to pay the cost of repair. Gas filling will be done by them on 30.04.2017. Earlier I had been using other brands, normally they work 10-15 years flawless.

Purchase Date 3/17/16. The Ice Maker (RF23HC) started freezing over about 1 year after we purchased. We started using a blow dryer to melt the huge chunks of ice. Now the entire back panel of the refrigerator freezes over and water pools in the bins. Clearly Samsung has known about this issue for years but still continues to sell the faulty refrigerators. There should be a recall on the refrigerator and full replacements supplied.

Bought Samsung refrigerator RF263BEAESR in 2012 and within 2 years, the ice maker failed. Samsung would not fix since it was out of warranty. I spent the next 7 years calling periodically to see if they would address their defective product. They never would - until this year! Now they agreed to replace the ice maker. However, since Ive spent 7 years chisling, blowdrying, doing whatever I could to remove the shoebox size block of ice that appears - the housing that the icemaker sits in has become disfigured. Because I damaged the housing, my ice maker cannot be replaced and they will not replace the housing. So - they make a piece of crap ice maker - I suffer 7 years of listening to strange noises, fighting an ever-growing glacier of ice, etc. - and now, after 7 years - Im at fault for damaging the ice maker housing. I will never buy a SAMSUNG product as long as I live. They are despicable.

Hello, I dont normally get on this and write reviews but the phone call I just had with Samsung just blew my mind. Weve had our stove for 2 years. I just noticed today that the exterior front of the stove is peeling off. It is extremely unsightly and never seen any other product stove peel like this or had had these kinds of issues. Should this be happening after 2 years? This peeling clearly states (from the outside) that its a cheaply made product. The best part is that I called Samsung to see if there is possibly anything we can do for this and to let them know that this is happening. They had no recourse whatsoever and that there is no warranty to cover such a thing.I kindly explained that now, its a thing and asked if theyd be able at least give me some idea on how to go about fixing this issue and they said, no. Then I said, Well then unfortunately Im going to have to write negative review. Is this what your company wants? and then they gave me a dissertation of why I should do that and where the information goes. With all of this said, wouldnt Samsung rather have a positive review by at least someone saying I called Samsung about my peeling stove and that even though there was no warranty to cover this, they provided me with a few service, or with some resources to help fix this issue.

Our Samsung side-by-side with bottom freezer has stopped working for the second time in two years. The first failure was the freezer fan, repaired under warranty. After second year, same problem - noisy fan and temperature not holding. Same repairman said the motherboards go out, and he cant get a new OEM board from Samsung - they are back ordered until 2015! We bought one from Sears, refurbished, and it doesnt work. Repair company says nothing they can do. My 15-year-old garage fridge is now back in business. Purchase this Samsung dishwasher for my new addition at the end of 2017. It has never been a good product. It does not clean well at all and in fact the first time I had a repair person out all they told me to do was to push every single button feature on the dishwasher and make sure that my water was already hot before I used it. It is a total piece of garbage. Now today I had to have another repair person come at the cost of $120. I was informed that the main power unit has gone out and just for the part is $450. We purchased our Samsung French door refrigerator from Lowe’s. I thought I had done research. Every single piece of plastic in this refrigerator is cracking or has already broken. We are not rough on our appliances. Despite the care that we use, every door been has been replaced twice. I currently have no door bins to use. Any indication that there is too much weight in the Dawbin is undermined by the fact that they are “designed to hold a gallon of milk“. I cannot even keep condiments in the door bins without cracking. The freezer bins have cracked at the joints. The refrigerator is also designed that is difficult to take apart to clean should there be a spill. This is a the worst product I have ever purchased.

I have a Samsung fridge, stove, microwave, and dishwasher. Everything works great except the dishwasher. It looks great from the outside. The control panel is on the top of the door, giving it a sleek look. However, it does a terrible job washing dishes. Dishes on the bottom and top racks both come out sticky with grime. If there are any food particles on a dish, this dishwasher will ensure that ALL the dishes are now covered in food. The dishwasher is also really, really, really slow. The cycle time is probably close to two hours. Anyway, Im happy with my other Samsung appliances, but buying a new dishwasher is high on my priority list. Dont buy a Samsung dishwasher. They suck. We use ours primarily as a drying rack for when I hand wash the dishes.

My wife and I purchased a new Samsung refrigerator at Lowes here in our tow
My wife and I purchased a new Samsung refrigerator at Lowes here in our town. 2 days after it was delivered there was a puddle of water inside the freezer (caught before it froze) we called them and Lowes sent a tech out to fix it. Three days after that, we had the same problem, so Lowes replaced the whole refrigerator. 2 months later, the ice maker quit making ice, called they sent a repairman out which took two weeks, and got it fixed. Then about 4 months later, it would not dispense ice, again another call and another repair. 3 months later when I would get ice it would not stop and it would keep spitting out ice, need I say it again? Another repair!!!!! Now we are into a year and a half with this piece of ** and now it overfills the water in the ice maker which then freezes and breaks the ice holder, so at this point Lowes said, Sorry, its out of warranty, you need to call Samsung!!! So I call Samsung, they were very helpful gave me a 1 time out of warranty service repair! So again it takes a few weeks but they replace the entire ice maker. Flash forward 6 months to today, 3/6/14, and guess what? Yup you guessed it, its not making ice at all, so I call Samsung and basically am told its out of warranty and after exhausting all resources there is nothing they can do!!!! Oh I almost forgot, after one of the repairs the service tech left me a spare part, and told me, if the ice maker would not stop dispensing ice, here is a spare part to fix it, and of course it did, so I also replaced it once myself!!! This Samsung Refrigerator is the biggest junk I have ever owned I will never ever buy a Samsung product again!!!
