I purchased all Samsung Appliances for my new home to include Refrigerator, Dishwasher, Oven and Front Load Washer and Dryer. The Refrigerator (Model RF253BEAESR) came in with dents and I have tried numerous times to get Samsung to repair and they have refused my requests. They sent someone to verify the dents and the repairman did confirm my complaint but Samsung still refuses to repair. Samsung does not stand by their product and I will never purchase Samsung products again.

Purchased Samsung fridge and had problems with ice not coming out of dispenser. For months they kept telling me to reset ice maker. Then they told me it was the ice tray. It was because the auger wasnt turning. They sent me 2 replacements. Both were the wrong size. Sent a repairman over with wrong size tray 3 times. Finally told me ice tray was no longer available then it was available then it wasnt. Found out from part dept at Samsung it will never be available. They gave me the run around for over a year just so they could prorate longer, so they could give me less money. I may accept their offer but have a feeling they will find some excuse not to honor it. Does any anyone know what is in the acceptance package? Email me at **. We should all get together and sue them. I am serious.

Updated on 06/24/2020: I called a technician to look at the stove. He told me that the repair would be $325.00. That is more than half of what I paid for the stove. I strongly suggest that you leave this piece of work at the store. Calling their service department is close to useless. They are inefficient and the bottom line is that they do not care about their customers. You can tell how much they care when you read the responses that some of the other customers left. I am the one that reported that there was a gas leak from one of the valves.Original review: Please do not buy this stove. I have had the stove for less than 3 years. In that time 2 of the knobs on the stove have broken. I did glue one of them back together and I will probably get the other one done too. On Sunday the gas valves were working fine and on Monday morning one of the valves froze in the on position allowing gas to escape. This is also what caused the second knob to break. I did not notice that there was any gas still escaping, but when I checked again, I noticed that the burner had lit. This could have resulted in my dying if it would have happened at night and if I had gone to sleep. Better safe than sorry, leave this stove at the store. It should not even be there.

SAMSUNG DOUBLE OVEN CONVECTION RANGE NE59J7850WS - After a kitchen remodel
SAMSUNG DOUBLE OVEN CONVECTION RANGE NE59J7850WS - After a kitchen remodel last year I updated my appliances and since we have such fantastic folks at our local Lowes store, that is where I went to buy them. First time in 20 years. I am sick that I had to do so now that I have had to experience complete failure in my new products. I went through 5 new stoves and returned them for one reason or another. Lowes was amazing in their desire to be sure I was satisfied. I eventually settled for the Samsung because I thought the small oven and the convection feature would be good.I am 62 years old and started cooking when I was 8. I have never in my entire life burned as many things as I have burned with this cook top in the past 4 months of ownership. I cannot control the temperature so I have to cook absolutely everything on the lowest setting and stand over the stove while it is cooking. The ovens just completely stopped working today and I have no idea why. Before the ovens quit working, the fans blew in my oven and overcooked half of the food I would bake and under cook the other side of it. I NEVER EVER get the stove top clean, EVER. I use the products made just for the smooth top and all it does is smudge. I am way too frustrated after 5 stoves and then spending what I consider a fortune on this stove to even consider calling service people if I will not be able to understand them. Unplugging and plugging back in did not work for me. Waiting for that class action suit for sure.

We purchased this french door refrigerator from Best Buy 3 years ago. We purchased the extended warranty and didnt need to use it. As soon as the 2 year extended warranty ended the refrigerator started: the temperature at the top started saying numbers that meant it was cold enough. Then the ice maker quit working & broke. The freezer door wouldnt close correctly. We called Sears Repair since Samsung gave us the run around. Sears came 4 times. We paid for new gaskets, new hinges, new ice maker, new mother board. Ice maker doesnt work nor has it since the guy left after putting it in. Water flows into the crisper drawer & floods our kitchen every so many days. UNREAL for a $2000 cost put extended warranty! I wouldnt buy Samsung again. We also have a plasma tv & sound board neither work correctly!

After two years, my Samsung SRS594HNSS two-door fridge started to freeze over on the left inside vent. It stopped working shortly after. I had the fridge for 2 1/2 years. When I contacted Samsung, who put me on to their agent, he installed a kit which cost me with labor $AU250. It took five weeks for the kit to come and it was over two months before the job was done. The fridge is now freezing over again. Samsung said it was out of warranty. I told Samsung that no one would buy an expensive fridge that would only last 2 1/2 years. It has been four months now since I contacted Samsung and their agent and the fridge is now 2 years and ten months old. I rang Samsung and they said the kit was under warranty and to call their agent again. The agent wants to charge me all over again for the labor. The agent for Samsung said that he had installed lots of these kits and never had any trouble, which makes me think it is a fault in the fridge. Samsung said it wasnt. Why the kit then? The complaints department staff were courteous and helpful. I realize it is not their fault, but a company policy. I had to buy another fridge during the hot Australian summer while waiting for the repair to be done. I am disappointed with Samsung as I have bought their products before including an expensive washing machine. I wont be buying any Samsung products from now on if they dont do the right thing by me.

Purchased a Samsung dishwasher just 2 days over a year ago. Have had good service until this morning. Started the unit and went to bed. This morning the unit was filled with water, the dishes were dirty, and the front panel light with Quick was flashing. After doing some internet research, I cleared the water from the tub and inspected the filter. No help. Next, I checked the exhaust hose for any blockage. No help. Then I found this site...... Apparently, Ive purchased a pile of junk for a washing machine. Does anyone on this site have a dishwasher they can recommend? We had our brand new refrigerator delivered yesterday. This morning realized the refrigerator part was really not cooling off enough. Checked the degrees in it and it registered 50. We called Samsung and was told we had to go through where we purchased and they in turn contacted Samsung. Samsung at first tried to say 50 degrees was acceptable. We went down to Home Depot with the manual and asked where does it say that. After a number of phone calls Samsung has agreed to replace it but a new delivery one month from now! They leave you high and dry and could care less you are without a refrigerator and why would I want it repaired. I forgot to mention the handle was broken too! At this point I want Home Depot to come pick up the refrigerator and Ill pick out a new one. Not a Samsung brand. Customer service does not care about the consumer! Will never buy that brand again!

Ever since I got the Samsung dishwasher its been a complete nightmare. The dishes dont clean well at all. My old dishwasher that is over 15 years old that cleans way better. It sucks completely. I called in and all they did is a reboot. It didnt do nothing at all. It still kept cleaning terribly. Then a couple weeks later it stopped working and start making weird sounds. I put in a request to have them look at it since I was still underneath the one-year warranty and they said I would give a call back in 24 hours. I never heard anything for about 72 hours and when I call back to find out why I have not got a call they said somebody cancelled my order? Wow. I was so pissed off. Ive been waiting this whole time to find out that some rep has cancel my order. Then they told me that I can call the number if Id like but I still have to wait another 24 hours for someone to call me again. Its been a nightmare. I doubt theyre going to do anything because its been already a terrible experience.

Purchased a Samsung Family Hub refrigerator and a Flex Wash washer and dryer 8 months ago. Since then have had the refrigerator ice maker freeze up about every 2 weeks. The fridge has been repaired with ice maker replaced 4 times. Now the washing machine has an error code that Samsung cannot find anyone to fix. Samsung does not offer refunds even though their appliances are junk but does offer replacements. (Oh yay) Samsung guaranteed delivery/replacement in 10 days. This is day 12 with no communication from Samsung. Many hours spent on the phone with Samsung, 4 service trips for the ice maker and now a guaranteed time frame on a replacement that did not happen. Samsung does not care about its customers and sells expensive appliances they do not support. Stay away from these and all Samsung appliances!

Purchased this microwave from Lowes about 2 years ago. Dont have receipt anymore so dont know exact date... It now gets the -SE- error code and researching online after the fact have learned it to be quite a common problem and a design flaw in Samsung microwaves. Called Samsung to fix this issue and they said they will only replace parts for this error code in older models and not the SMH9027ST models... I ordered the display part and tried to replace myself but cant seem to open the bottom silver piece where this part goes. Will never again purchase Samsung products of any kind... I bought this model a year ago in June 2016. We had one visit from tech so far when refrigerator refused to turn on and cool. Tech came and fixed issue with electronic board. Now just over a year later I am having same problem as previous writer. The refrigerator is not cooling yet freezer is. Am attempting to contact service, but meanwhile all food is spoiling. Our last refrigerator - simple model different brand with no bells whistles lasted ten years without an issue. Would not recommend this model due to issues after only one year plus. Obviously this is occurring after the warranty has expired so it will cost money to repair.

DMT300RFW - This appliance was purchased in 2010 from Future Shop in Saskatoon. Problems were experienced very quickly and our efforts for assistance from Future Shop or Samsung were a waste of time. In 2012 the dishwasher would only run on Heavy Duty and most often it has to restarted in order to start the cycle. At the present time, often it takes restarting four to five times before it will go into the cycle. We will replace it for certain with a different brand.

Ive had a Samsung range for 4 months and am extremely disappointed with it. The black glass top is amazingly cheap for such an expensive range. It is impossible to keep clean and scratches very easily. I had my old GE range for 10 years and it still looked like new when I replaced it with this Samsung. In just 4 months, this range looks old and worn. Every pot scratches the surface. I only use the pad and cleaner supplied with the range and even that scratches the surfaces. Plus, any spillovers go down into the vents and streak the oven door glass. I contacted Samsung and they sent out a technician who took pictures and said Samsung would call me. Its been 3 weeks and no call.

My fridge works fine so far, but Im getting scared reading the other reviews. Our problem so far has been with the water filter. The ones carried by Lowes dont work in our fridge and cant get them anywhere else without ordering online and risking it being the wrong filter. Believe it or not, the notches on one part of the filter are different from the ones carried by Lowes. So far Samsung has said that the filter from their website, which will cost me more money because of shipping charges, is the one that works. Yeah, well see. They just dont seem to care, either Lowes or Samsung.

We bought a Samsung RF26J7500SR 3 door refrig eleven months ago. WHAT A POS. The refrig compartment fan system keeps freezing up (repairman said its an inherent design error! ), preventing it from staying cold. We threw out everything inside on Labor day as all the food spoiled waiting the 12 days for the repairman. Then I was told we had to reschedule since the refrig needed to be unplugged for 48 hours for all the internal ice covering the fan blades to melt. On the return visit days later parts were replaced and a factory anti-freezing kit installed. Now, two months later, the fridge is full of Thanksgiving leftovers and its warm inside again, seems like the same problem. Samsung customer service can only confirm its broken, gave me the number of a local repair guy that will fix it under warranty. I assume the repairman will give me an appointment 12 days from when they call me back, which was how long it took for them to come to the house for the first repair!!! Looks like we will throw out everything again. What a joke. I will have to take another vacation day to wait for the repairman. Anyone who buys a Samsung refrigerator needs their head examined!!! I will never ever buy another Samsung appliance of any kind.

Bought a French door with middle divided door model 3 months ago. It stopped freezing and cooling but digital display indicated temp ok. After discovering food in freezer thawed and no ice, had to discard contents. Samsung sent repair man and he replaced parts and left. It was not fixed. Called back for second visit for repair and did not have needed parts. Came back 3rd time and replaced motherboard on January 20th. 3 weeks later, same problem. Discard food, called Samsung and insisted on replacement and was told technician would come out and deem it unrepairable. I agreed but said will not allow another repair. Tech came out with more parts to fix it. I refused repair, just asked him to determine that the same issue had occurred. That was yesterday. Today on multiple calls with Samsung customer support and was told it would have to be fixed again, refused to replace this obviously defective unit. I am looking for a solution, but dont think it will come from Samsung. Contacted Lowes where I purchased it and was told it would have to go through manufacturer (Samsung). what ever happened to backing up your products? Never, ever will I buy ANY SAMSUNG product again. I built a new house a little over two years ago. Between the kitchen and laundry appliances, I spent around $6500. Before the one-year warranty was up, the ice maker in the fridge crapped out. I had to get Best Buy to replace the unit as the Samsung repair people didnt want to travel out to where Im located (only about 35 miles). Then after the warranties expired, the washer has an issue - not too bad - a wire fell off the motor. Cost me $159. Now the dishwasher pump burn up - $440 to fix this. Repair guy told me that the pods I have been using, the plastic shell pieces apparently do not melt and pieces collect in a screen that the water goes through that cools the pump. The screen is apparently fine than most units. Sound like a design flaw. After buying all these appliances and having three issues already, one would think the manufacturer would stand behind their products. Nope, no help at all. No more Samsung products for me.

Dont ever buy a Samsung fridge. We have had our French door refrigerator for about a year. It is a 2015 make and model. The freezer never shuts correctly, the ice maker sucks but today and recently over the past week it hasnt been cooling correctly even though the temp says it was okay. We unplugged it and restarted it and it gave us a more accurate reading of 50 instead of 34. After hours of trying to get it took work and numerous websites later we figured out that its not defrosting even though it is supposed to defrost itself. Come to find out this happens a lot with Samsung. We had to manually take off the back of the fridge and manually defrost it with a hairdryer. This is the WORST experience I have ever had. Bought in April of 2010. The display broke and had to be replaced. Two of the adjustable milk holders had to be replaced. They cracked and filled with moisture. Then this year, it started making loud humming and grinding noises. The Samsung repairman was here twice and said he couldnt open the drain. So water keeps accumulating under the drawer and leaks down on the fans and they hum and grind. It is so loud it wakes us up at night. I cant even have company without having to go outside. We purchased a Samsung RF197ACBP French Door Refrigerator from Best Buy in August 2013 after considerable research. We bought it because it was one of the rare 19 models that would fit into our cabinet-depth space, and because of what seemed like a good general reputation. Wish wed checked here! The door handles of this black refrigerator have had paint scratching off since the beginning. Best Buy replaced them the first week, but theyve continued to scratch and ding. A week ago, we couldnt open the left vegetable drawer. Discovered it had become stuck in place by a half-inch of solid, clear ice underneath. After eliminating all other possible sources of leakage (and note, we did not install the ice maker, so theres no water being piped to the refrigerator), we discovered a vent hole on the back panel that appears to be dripping small amounts of water. Now weve read how common a problem this is, and of course our fridge is out of warranty, and we are left to deal with it. This is corporate fraud of the most disgusting kind. To think that this expensive, ill-designed piece of junk replaced a 40-year-old Amana that never once failed us makes me despair of American and global business. Well try the self-help options - and maybe a local repair call - but I wont pay a dime for Samsung or Best Buy service.

I purchased a Samsung Dishwasher (Model #DW80H9930US) from Tasco, on the advice of Tascos salesman. It was installed in November 2014. I had also purchased a 5 year warranty. By June 2015 my dishwasher was no longer working. I went into Tasco who told me I had to contact my warranty provider, who in turn advised that Samsung held the initial warranty for the first year. I contacted Samsung at the beginning of July and was told a technician would call. I never received a call. Two weeks later I contacted them again and as everyone has previously mentioned, the wait times are approximately 30 minutes to speak with someone at the first level customer service. A woman finally booked a date to have a technician come out. I waited all day and got a call from someone to then set up another date that was approximately 3 weeks later. The technician came to my home and I advised him that the soap dispenser was not opening. He attached his computer to my dishwasher and told me the waterfall technology was not working and my motor was defective, which in turn was why the soap was not opening. He advised they would be ordering a new motor and I would get a call within 2 weeks to set up another appt. He also told me off the record this dishwasher consistently breaks down and is not a good buy. I had to remove my baseboard for that visit noting the dishwasher is built in. He never left the name of his company or anything with me. 3 weeks later I still had not heard from anyone. I contacted Samsung again to speak with someone and they told me they would be in touch. I called again 3 days later and after 30 min and going through the story each time -- got disconnected. In August I finally called and was put through to the Executive department because I was told I could not speak to management. I spoke with a Brian representative ** who was extremely rude and just flat out told me that they would not even consider replacing the unit, even noting the issues wrong with it so early on and the reviews I had read. He gave me an email address sdr.seca@samsung.com to send through a complaint as there never seems to be a manager consumers can speak with. I sent an email with my issues on August 12 and then a follow up on August 18th, 2015, and have never received a response from Samsung. I called 2 more times and was still unable to get a technician or call back. In October I went back to Tasco for help and was told I should have contacted them for service. I contacted Tasco who then in turn left me hanging until the end of November. On Thursday, November 26, I received a call from a Peter ** at Samsung and was told the delay of 6 months was because I did not call the technician back to let him know the baseboard had been removed. That the dishwasher was not properly diagnosed and they dont even know what is wrong with it. He was reading very different information than anyone else I had spoken to and basically told me I was lying that it was the motor. He was so rude, condescending, and when I asked for his managers phone number, he gave me a wrong number. At this point I have a dishwasher that has not worked for 5 months and cannot get Samsung to help me at all. At this time, I would like the dishwasher replaced and it is now out of warranty. At this time I do plan to take Samsung and Tasco to small claims court if I have to, noting I have a dishwasher that does not work and now its out of the manufacturers warranty. I will never purchase or recommend a Samsung appliance to anyone and will deter anyone from them. I would not want anyone to have to endure the stress and frustration I have had to deal with and still have not had the problem rectified. So disappointing.

We struggled with a Samsung RF263 for 3 years. Finally it shut off with NO WARNING; was 50 degrees when I realized it. THIS is a major food safety issue, especially with elders who may not pay attention and have repeated bouts of diarrhea because of spoiled food! I reported this as a safety issue to CPSC. Within 48 hours I was contacted by Samsung to schedule a COURTESY tech visit - this after they repeatedly claimed the behavior was normal. He moved the sensor! Two years later I can say I am very happy with the damned thing. Had two Samsung Microwaves let the smoke out with a year of purchase. Lowes replaced first, I threw out the second. Turns out the power transformer uses copper clad wire rather then solid. Bought a GE and NO issues. Then there was the LED TV fiasco. Kept turning off after three years. Almost threw it out until I discovered the class action settlement where they had to to come to the home, replace the 15 cent electrolytic capacitors in the power supply with 50 cent capacitors. Turns out there was actually a business where savvy people bought up broken tvs and replaced the caps. Took the tech all of 15 minutes to do in my home. Samsung close engineers their products. I will NEVER buy another Samsung even though I expect this refrigerator to work for another 15 years. Want to get it fixed? File a food safety complaint with CPSC!!!

October 2016 I bought a 4 door Samsung stainless steel refrigerator (model #RF22K9381SR/AA) from Lowe’s. The panel on the door below the icemaker/water dispenser has terrible water stains that will not come off with any recommended product by Samsung. When I complained to Samsung they sent out a technician to see it. The technician said there was a possibility that it developed a leak behind the door panel and he took a picture and said Samsung will be reviewing it.I then got a call from Samsung saying its not their problem because they are not responsible for cosmetic damage. Stainless is not suppose to stain with obvious water marks. I believe there is some defect with the refrigerator ice maker/water dispenser and/or that the stainless steel product they used is of inferior quality. I am very dissatisfied with my $3,0000 purchase of this refrigerator and am wondering if I can take Samsung to small claims court. I do not recommend purchasing Samsung refrigerators.

We got a Samsung fridge less than 3 years ago from a relative, that only had it for 6 months. It has never been a good unit, so when it finally quit, we were not too surprised. When asked about the warranty, we were given the runaround for about 2 hrs. from our local Sears. We finally said enough, and went and bought another one from a different place from where this was bought, with 10 year factory warranty.

I purchased a Samsung 5.9 cu. ft. electric range from Sears outlet (certified). After 90 days, the range wouldnt turn on, all functions stopped. The computer board is defective. Samsung didnt honor the warranty as it was out of the box. Sears, even though has a warranty for a year on all products purchased in their store, required that we buy additional warranty contract. With that, they ordered the part from overseas, and we have been waiting for 7 weeks with no range. Samsung does not provide parts to their range. For the range to fail within 90 days is a major defect. Sears outlet dont honor their warranty.

I had bought Samsung fridge freezer side by side and bought quite early as it was on special offer and our home had just started the renovation. So when the delivery came did not open as we put trust on the consumer products and because it was dusty in the house. I just kept it in the box. Once the renovation was done opened the box so excitedly and what do I see? Big dent on the door and small dent on the side of the fridge. We rang Samsung straight away and explained to them what we found and why we delayed on opening the box. But they did not want to know as it was over 28 days. I ask them to just replace the door and that has big dent but No. We have families and friends come to visit us and they see the dent on the door and they laugh. Not on us but on Samsung, and they say See SAMSUNG ARE NOT GOOD.There is no reliability that Samsung offers to their customers after the product is sold. Reading all the other reviews, looks like these problems are just a beginning. I have Samsung products that we have are phones, TV, DVD recorder. We have had issue only with our Samsung fridge freezer, but with this experience we promised ourselves not to purchase any Samsung merchandise in the future. Very very poor service from Samsung home appliance and customer relations. But hey guess what if any of the staff or any other higher position and CEO family and friends had problem they would have helped them with one click.

We ordered the Samsung microwave when we built our home. Money was tight so we found one of the least expensive microwaves. We have now been in our home 15 years and the Samsung is still working well, however, not as well as it did when it was new. I have noticed that I have to add time to heat. But for the price and look, when it does finally go out, I will look at purchasing another Samsung.

The Samsung fridge model RB2155SH freezer compartment changes temperature.
The Samsung fridge model RB2155SH freezer compartment changes temperature. I emailed Samsung and was told the fridge is no longer under warranty and I was on my own to get it repaired. I had a repair man fix it a couple of years ago for the same problem when it was still under warranty, but it didnt last. I went online to research the problem and found out the defrost sensor might be the problem. After removing the cover in the freezer that covers the coils, I found a lot of burnt areas and cracks in the freezer compartment. Also, the defrost sensor was also burnt. I replaced the sensor and also took pictures of the freezer compartment showing the burnt areas and areas where the compartment was bubbling up from heat. This fridge is a fire hazard. I can email pictures.

I bought a beautiful Samsung refrigerator in July. It has water/ice on the door and a second climate drawer. Laid out perfectly - plenty of storage. In August, we noticed it was leaking water under the filter so we replaced the filter and it didnt improve. We turned off the water to the fridge and the leak continued. We called a repairman, through Samsung, and waited a couple of days for him to come. He diagnosed a broken valve and had to order a replacement part that he thought would take 8-10 days. When I hadnt heard back in 3 weeks, I called the repair company and they said the part was back ordered. They suggested I contact Samsung to get an estimated delivery time. Thus began 6 weeks of me contacting Samsung, spending hours on the phone, asking the same question, repeating the same story to every person I spoke with. Finally, I could stand it no longer and begged to be escalated. I finally found out there was no estimated time - no one knew if this part would ever be available. In the meantime, I have to daily mop up the water that comes out and floods under the produce bins; the second drawer is not usable because the water fills it and freezes. It ruins any food packaging. The water also spills out the drawers onto the floors and my hardwood floors are now damaged. I was escalated to Jaz. What a disappointment. She ignored my calls for days and only finally tried to speak with me when I hit 0 from her voice mail and begged another rep to help me. This lady definitely needs additional training in handling angry customers. She ultimately offered to swap the fridge, a frustrating process because we have a small opening and in your newer model of this fridge, youve added side vents that arent included in the specs and wont fit the opening. We finally came to a solution on October 31 and she 100% guaranteed that the new fridge would arrive on November 14 at the latest. On November 17th, I called at the end of the day to say I still hadnt received the fridge, not that I was surprised at this point. She committed to getting back to me once she found out where it was. She left me a message at noon the following day to say that the fridge was with a local delivery company and she would call back when she had a time estimate. I called again today, November 19, and left another message. Its been almost 3 months since I could use my fridge properly. I still have to mop up the leaking water and theres a whole section of the fridge I cant even put food in, not to mention no ice or water. She did offer me $150 as repayment for food spoilage, but I have not seen hide nor hair of that either. This is the WORST experience Ive ever had with an electronics manufacturer and I still have no idea when it will be resolved.

Samsung 197ACRS Refrigerator - In March 2012 I purchased this counter width fridge from Leons in London. The refrigerators cooling system on the inside freezes up constantly and when it goes into the defrost cycle the water pools in the bottom of the refrigerator. During the year warranty with Samsung they came and defrosted the unit at least three times. I requested the unit be replaced but was not accommodated by Samsung. Thank goodness I took out an extended warranty. To date I have called at least 5 times for the unit to be repaired. One tech suggested if I had another refrigerator I could transfer my food into it and unplug the Samsung frig and defrost it. I have always had concerns as to how effective the unit is really keeping the food, and just recently I have noticed spoilage of food that should not have occurred. They are going to come look at it. I do not have a lot of money and paying $1,800.00 for a refrigerator was a major expenditure. Samsung refuses to do anything to rectify this situation and I understand that they have corrected this problem in their new units. I feel that I have been taken advantage of and I do not know where to go to resolve this issue.

On 8/11/2010, I bought a Samsung 264 L capacity fridge from Electrical Discounters in Port Augusta. In about Aug 2012, my fridge broke down. No worries, Samsung took about 2 weeks to repair using a local technician. The local technician was very hesitant to take on any more Samsung warranty claims as he has had problems in the past. He was kind enough to replace the timer defroster at the back of the fridge. I lost over $300 worth of food. In the end of October, my fridge broke down again. I expressed my concern as it is a 2-year warranty coverage that expired on 8/11/12. Samsung acknowledged this (apparently noted this) because as far as I am aware, there is only one fridge technician in Port Augusta, hence my cause for concern. The problem - exactly the same as the first time it broke. Again, the timer was replaced after another 2 weeks without a working fridge. I was never contacted by Samsung. I have initiated the calls and contact on every occasion. You can imagine my frustration when on 26 December 2012, items in my fridge were growing mold and my ice cream in the freezer was almost liquid (semi-soft). I refused to believe so I waited a day before reporting it thinking maybe there had been a power outage that I did not know about overnight. I reported the fault on either 27th or 28th December to Samsung. Samsungs solution - you need a technician to look at it. It is exactly the same problem as the 1st and 2nd time. And now the technician refuses to play any further part in dealing with my fridge or Samsung. As far as I am aware, there are no other fridge technicians in Port Augusta. The closest would be Whyalla or Port Pirie. I struggle to imagine them making a single trip for my Samsung fridge only. I have since called Samsung 4 times inquiring as to my status as I have never received a phone call from them updating me on my status. I was informed that a technician would need to examine the fridge and now, after just getting off the phone with them, they advise that a technician will look at repairing the fridge. I have expressed my desire at having the fridge replaced but now that no technician in Port Augusta is willing to deal with Samsung, I am left at a loss. The replacement of a fridge leaves me inevitably frustrated as I am concerned I will be given another dodgy Samsung fridge with no one to repair it. I have made Samsung aware of these concerns to which they note but never contact or update and to be told that a technician is looking at repairing my fridge (which has broken down 3 times in the past 6 months) is upsetting.I have given Samsung ample opportunity to update me and liaise with me but as you can see, my frustrations are continually growing as I now do not want a Samsung fridge. I would like my money back as they are not offering me a suitable alternative. I was advised by email on Jan. 4 that a case manager has been assigned to me complaint but I have yet to hear further from them. Please help me. All I want is a working fridge that I can rely on.

About two years ago I bought an over the range microwave; SMH9187ST is the model number. Worked well until one day it started making a beeping sound. I went to go investigate it and found the -SE- error. From what I gathered online from different sites, it is a control board issue. It has been a problem since 2009. Here we are in 2014 and they have not fixed the problem with the control boards. Since they do not make the microwave anymore, there is no way to replace the control board. I will only buy Samsung phones. The rest of their products will fall on my deaf ears.

Problems since first day... We purchased all our new appliances for our new
Problems since first day... We purchased all our new appliances for our new home to be delivered Feb. 28, 2014. We are very happy with the fridge, washer, dryer. Not so happy with the over the stove microwave as it does not seem to pull in the steam at all and it goes all over the front of the cupboards and underneath as well. And steam drips down the tiled backsplash. The dishwasher is a whole other story. The young fellow brings it in and installs it. While testing it water flooded out the bottom of it. He tried several things but could not figure it out. He called his office and told them the problem and they said they would send out another dishwasher the next day. He then leaves. I go downstairs to get something from the freezer and there is water all over the floor at the bottom of the stairs. I call the store and he comes back. I asked him why he would leave when he knew there was a problem. He had forgot to connect something so he fixed it and returned the next day with another dishwasher. This is number 2... So he does all the connections and lo and behold, water comes spewing out the bottom again! He did try to conquer the problem but to no avail. He called and told the girl at the office about it and they said they would send out another one. This is all in the first week of us supposedly trying to enjoy moving into our new home. So a few days go by and along comes dishwasher number three with two fellows to install it. One does all the work while the other one just lolls around on my new engineered hardwood floor. I wanted to scream!! I was afraid by the time this was figured out I would have a whole lot of marks on the floor. They were here for over two hours and yet again it leaked. Really?? I called the appliance store and complained non-stop like a lunatic because of frustration and to get right down to it, anger. They suggested that I try to pick out a different line of dishwasher. I said I wanted the one that matched all the other appliances. Would they be willing to trade them all out? Well, of course not. So yet again along comes dishwasher number 4 with yet another installer. He installed it and did a quick test and yay! It didnt leak. The next day, water on the floor. In the meantime, I am back at work and have to arrange these visits with repairmen for before I start work at 4 in the afternoon. So, I call the appliance store and rant again. They make an appointment for me with one of the salespeople at a different location. We purchased from a large retailer on 149 Street, Edmonton. They sent us to the 47 Avenue one which is a fair distance from where we live. We went in and it seemed like the salesperson felt we were being unreasonable. I asked him if this kind of product and service would make him happy and would he like it if his time was taken up with this. Long and short, he tried to get us to change to another line and we said no. So he said he would give us $200 off. Big deal. But it was better than nothing. They said they had never had this kind of problem before, so we said lucky us, being the one off. So again back to a number of visits from a serviceman. We were told that maybe our water temperature was too high and this was causing a problem. The temperature of our water was lower than what it gets to on the sanitize cycle by 35 degrees so that seems to be a load of you know what. Then he said it was this part at the front of the dishwasher so he replaced that. Still leaking. I give up and just keep putting a dishtowel under it to catch the leaks and save the hardwood floor. Three years go by (not quite) and now besides the leak it stops draining on occasion and the OE light comes on. I call another repair place that services Samsung products. The guy comes out and says that he needs to replace a part so we do that. He sets up a test and promptly leaves. It hits the rinse cycle and water comes spewing out the bottom again but it did drain. Call them back and have to wait a couple of weeks and he comes out and did something to it and said if there were any problems to call them after Christmas because they would now be closed until after the New Year. Yay!! The third visit he comes out to repair it and now the stupid thing will not do anything. It will not fill even at the beginning to start the leaking process or the OE light to come on, just sits there. I do feel for him as he seems to be a very nice man but now he is waiting to hear back from the Samsung technical help desk to get back to him with some things to try. He tried to replace the circuit panel, but the new one did the same thing as the old. He got out some manual and tried to do some troubleshooting and nothing happened. He checked the pump but that was ok. He checked the overflow sensors and they were fine. Before he came out for the third time I ran it through five cycles. On the normal cycle it did what it was supposed to do and no leaking. Same with the Heavy cycle and Delicate. Did the Quick cycle and it leaked but it did empty. On the Pots and Pans the OE light came on and it did not drain and it leaked. After he tried all he could think to try on the last (third) visit it wont do anything but the lights do come on, just no action. I thought I could just go back to putting the towel on the floor and maybe have to try draining it manually or with some luck maybe it would work when I held down the drain button (sometimes it did and sometimes, no). So here we are with the mother of all dishwashers that looks nice but is totally useless. And I get the distinct pleasure of washing dishes. I dont mind doing that when I feel like it but not all the time because I have to. We will wait now to see if Samsung tech came up with anything for our poor repairman. If not we will ask for our money back on the repair that was useless and go buy a dishwasher from a reputable appliance store from reputable salesperson after doing a lot of research to find out what one would be the most... reputable and reliable. Because we know now for sure that it is not Samsung and we did not care for the service from the place we purchased from originally.

Two different service companies came and changed the thermostat and everything else they could to no avail. Has anyone been able to contact and resolve issues with their Samsung refrigerators? Has anyone taken legal action? I bought my refrigerator four years ago from Sears. As I sit here typing this comment, my fabulous product is sitting over there broken! This makes the third time that the temperature sensor has failed and have lost all of my food. The second time the sensor went out, no one keeps these parts on hand and it had to be ordered from the manufacturer overseas. This ONLY took seven weeks to get here. Thankfully, I have a home warranty policy and they have repaired it. Well, my luck has run out. The repairman who came out yesterday told the warranty company that the sensor failed causing other parts failures. Now the warranty company is telling me that my policy wont cover this because if a warrantied part causes other equipment failures, the company wont cover them. This means $338, plus the $60 service call, out of MY pocket. The first two repairmen told me that Samsung appliances are ABSOLUTE JUNK!!!! Has anyone been able to get any action from Samsung or has anyone taken any legal action? Im in!!!

Samsung Refrigerator - Model # RF263BEAESP/AA. Purchased this new (4) years ago. Within the first year, the ice maker stopped working and the warranty covered it. Year and a half later, the replacement ice maker stopped working again (ice builds up & prevents the ice maker from making ice). Ok - I dont need ice that much. We learned the hard way that we couldnt count on this fridge to keep the meats/dairy cool enough to not spoil - so we depend on our (20+) year old non-Samsung fridge in the garage. Weve lost plenty of food in the Samsung fridge because it was not cool enough - in spite of it being set to the coldest setting. Now, just a week ago - the fan in the fridge compartment is making a loud buzzing noise - why, because ice is building up there too and hitting the fan blades. Ive run the manual defrost mode several times - but it only works for a few hours before the ice comes back and the noise starts again. When we bought our home, we did our homework on each appliance. At the time, Samsung got very good reviews, so we wound up buying (4) Samsung appliances - washer, dryer, oven, and Fridge. Only the dryer hasnt needed to be repaired. I will never buy ANY Samsung appliance or product again!

Our 5 yr. old Samsung French door fridge has wasted about 300 dollars worth of food. The first repairman from A&E recharged the freon and ordered some parts. One of the parts was a new compressor, which they ship to the house and install at a later date. We request with Samsungs guy in India to make sure we get the same guy to install the new compressor. (You cannot talk to A&E directly.) Some other guy shows up (had to miss another days work to accommodate their service, 250 bucks down the drain again.) This new guy takes the inside fridge panel off and says the upper evaporator coil is leaking because Samsung put too many zip ties holding it in. He snips off the zip ties, then he claims the compressor wasnt needed and the first guy who came should have known they were not authorized by Samsung to do any repairs. He leaves...... now Im dead in the water. I call Samsung office of the president (yeah right) they set me up with another repair tech. I yelp the new repair service and they have the worst reputation in the book. Soooooooo I call back the Samsung prezzizz office in Jersey and request they authorize the original repair techs from A &E to return. The freezer just went warm again. We are giving away food to friends. It is Thursday the new repair appt. is this Monday. Another day off work and probably a re-diagnose and subsequent appt. while they wait for parts. I have a Samsung RF 217 French door bottom freezer model. It is only 5 years old. 3 months ago water accumulated in the vegetable bins. The repair guy came and hair-dried the frozen water pipe. Now, the freezer has frozen-up. I called the repair guy. He just came but said he could not find a parking space so would not be available!!!!! He said he would call and come back. Well... no way. Electricians, plumbers etc find parking. This is A&E Repair for Samsung. Really bad Samsung so I will not buy anything Samsung. I am trashing this piece of junk and ordering a new fridge.

Great if you want to waste your money on this piece of garbage. Not even 4 years old and I had to have it fixed in April of 2019 and now in September I have been told that the evaporator cover needs to be replaced. Ice builds up behind the cover and eventually will affect the fan and the fridge will not cool anymore. Go online and you will see that this is a very common problem and I guess Samsung does not care. Thank you Samsung for taking my hard earned money and thank you for keeping local repair shops busy!

After reading Consumers Report Magazine and choosing the top rated products, we went to Best Buy and purchased all three appliances at once. The Oven started smoking (first time used), filled the house with toxic smoke, burnt my ladys face. The microwave exhaust fan never turned on. All this happened within the first time we used the oven. The side by side refrigerator started leaking water and wont stop leaking (water dispenser). Samsung sent out repairman for the range-oven, ordered parts then came back out to finish repairs, tried to use oven again, oven went up in smoke again. SoCalGas Co. came out and RED-tagged the Range-Oven. So far Samsung has blamed us for all the problems. We had to hire an attorney to handle this mess. Samsung has problems with their phones, washing machines, ranges, microwaves, and refrigerators. I wonder whats next?

I purchased a Samsung dishwasher a little over a year ago from Best Buy. Within the year, the dishwasher began having issues. It would stop running and had flashing lights displayed. After terrible customer service and multiple delays, Samsung set me up with a warranty service provider who fixed the issue. Within two months, the same issue is happening. In contacting Samsung, they are advising that since its past the 1 year warranty, there is nothing they can do. Even though its the same issue they already had fixed. Additionally, they offer terrible customer service. I spoke with three different departments (most out of the country) for over an hour in total, only to get no resolution. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT - BEWARE.

We have owned our $2000 refrigerator for just about 2 years when the motherboard and the inverter broke down. Everything in the refrigerator had to be thrown away, including the $150 of groceries we just purchased! We have been without a refrigerator for over 2 months because getting it serviced and fixed takes very long. Ordering the part alone is a feat in itself. The part would not be received by Samsung until November 6 making it even longer to be fixed. They would receive it then send it to the parts company here on Oahu. Well, being that we have a party on October 31st, my husband ordered the $111.00 inverter on his own and paid extra to have the part rushed over. We will receive the inverter on Tuesday, 10/21 and the maintenance person will come on Wednesday to fix our refrigerator. We owned a GE for 11 years with absolutely no problem prior to buying this one. Obviously we made the worst decision to buy what we thought was the top of the line! Jokes on us! We will never again buy Samsung again! Crossing my fingers that it gets fixed.

Bought Samsung 28.5 cu. ft. French Door Fridge (spent $2500) in Aug, 2010 from Sears. After 4 1/2 years, it broke (no longer cool in fridge and cold in freezer). Asked Sears repairman to come (inspection costs $85) and said the compressor has to be replaced. Control board may also need to be replaced which costs another few hundreds. Samsung only covers the compressor parts but not labor. Estimated costs for labor is close to $500. It is totally rip-off and the worst experience for buying appliances. Never buy Samsung again for their unreliable products. I have a 26 years Admiral fridge in the garage which still works fine (except bit dripping water under and bit rust on some outside metal hinge).

I defrosted it several times by removing the freezer interior panel and using a blow dryer to melt the ice. I did some research and all I found were hopeless complaints online. We have had nothing but issues with this refrigerator. Ice buildup on the back of the inside of the refrigerator. It gets so bad it hits the fan and the refrigerator gets warm. Also there is ice buildup on the floor of the freezer. The door won’t close properly because of the buildup and my husband has to defrost it every few months. The noise from the buildup is loud. Plus it leaks onto the floor which has ruined my laminate around it. The refrigerator wasn’t inexpensive so we deal with it but we will never purchase another Samsung appliance. The first thing to go was the defrosting fan made from plastic too small to handle the big refrig French doors, that cost me $254.00. The next was the ice maker, another piece of plastic broke, another $254 to get that fixed. Now the refrig is building up ice again which means I will be defrosting my refrig with my hair dryer. I will not purchase a product made by Samsung again. One of the components went in the microwave, I only use it for defrosting and heating water, another wonderful product by Samsung. I understand from the repairman that many parts are being used in many refrigerators. I also own a stove made by Samsung. Im waiting for it to break. 2016 Samsung Black Stainless Steel Refrigerator - Let me be honest, I love the look and paid the extra money for it. What I dont like is listening to my fridge. Especially a repetitive extremely Loud POP noise throughout the night. Called Samsung, first they came and leveled the fridge - did not fix the problem! Called again then they sent a tech, showed me the fine print stating that the inner linings expand and contract during temperature changes creating this loud noise. My last fridge was half the price and didnt make any noise. This noise is not from the ice maker and not the ice dropping into the container that is reasonable and understandable. Let me put it in simple terms, If you were to take claw hammer and smack your hardwood floor with a good blow thats what it sounds like. What is really bad is you get to hear it throughout the day and worst in the middle of the night! You dont know if someone is breaking into your home or what. Very disturbing. We spent a lot of money for this. If I knew this model did this as nice as it looks I would have not bought it.To be fair to Samsung I own their Washer and dryer 3400.00 also a 1000.00 dishwasher and 1200.00 microwave and stove that we are very happy with. So now I have a great looking fridge that makes loud pop noises all day and all night about every hour. Its hard to believe this problem got through any quality control testing from Samsung before selling to the unknowing public. Its just not right and I hope this can be resolved. Help!

We had our Samsung fridge for 3 years in July and the compressor decided to
We had our Samsung fridge for 3 years in July and the compressor decided to fail, with the warranty expiring after 2 years. However, Samsung organized a repair agent to attend at a cost of $130 for an onsite visit to tell me it was the compressor and that it would be covered under warranty as the compressor has a 5-year warranty on it. That was great so they organized an agent to attend again (Samsung Plaza) to pick up the fridge, so I waited all day and they never showed up. Then the following week, they finally picked it up. After a week of them repairing the fridge, they delivered it back. They delivered it in the pouring rain, it was windy and they were in a rush. In such a rush, the truck door smashed the side of my fridge. As they brought it into my house, they scratched and dented my door on my house. They broke the wheel underneath the fridge and pushed it along my floor boards. They have now made a mess of my floors by denting the floor boards from my door all the way to where the fridge is located. When they left, I went to shut the door and noticed pieces of the fridge on the floor and as I looked down, I noticed the door on my house was damaged and the massive dents in my floor. I then contacted them straight away to tell them because by this stage, the delivery guys had driven off. I had a 3-month-old baby in my hand at the time. Thats why I hadnt followed them out. When I reported it, they were great and shocked about what had happened and were making a case of it.After many, many calls since 9th August 2012, they finally decided to approve they would repair the damage. I have spent time getting quotes for the door and my floor to be fixed and forward them on. I then had the owner of Samsung Plaza come out to view the damage and she advised she would send me a check for the door to be repaired but had someone she knew who would fix my floor. Since then I have again made many, many calls and emails and really havent got anywhere. I was advised a repair guy would come 31 October and had a call in the morning to cancel. I then told her that I had the painter coming out to repair the door and needed the check for payment and she advised she would send it in the mail. This has never been seen. I have contacted her chasing the check and the repair guy and always am told, Ill call you back. I have been pretty patient and its wearing very thin now after almost months of this. I need help on getting to the bottom of this. In the meantime, I have another Samsung agent attend to pick up and repair the broken wheel on my fridge.

I paid a thousand dollars for my dishwasher in 2015. I have not gotten one years use out of it without something breaking down on it. In the first year, after many issues, we ended up replacing the board on it. The rubber mat on the top rack and some of the plastic clips in it broke down during the second year. Now the water wall is giving us problems. Customer service runs us through a simple troubleshooting guide just like the one on YouTube then says not their problem anymore, call a repairman. There are so many of the reviews here with the exact issue I’ve had with the Samsung French Door refrigerator but I thought I would add my two cents just in case someone may still be considering buying one of these things! The ice maker has been a constant issue and I’ve had repair after repair called in on it. It completely freezes up and stops working, leaks water all over the place. It’s unbelievably annoying. I had the 4 year extended warranty with Lowe’s so I haven’t had to pay for these repairs but now I’ll have to be paying out of pocket for anything. Every couple weeks we have to defrost the ice maker. Lowe’s tells us now that they only consider a product a lemon if the same call is made 3xs in 30 days, well I could’ve met that criteria if I had felt like dealing with service calls over and over. However, had I known that I would have dealt with it. There is a class action lawsuit on this matter. Bottom line...run from Samsung.

Houseful of Samsung Appliances and now I am stuck. Microwave takes forever to boil a cup of water for tea. Cheap handle broke off after 2 years. Dishwasher doesnt clean dishes, you must basically wash by hand before you put them in. French door refrigerator crapped under 3 yrs. Paid over $900 to fix. Icemaker was part of that fix, now a little over a year it stopped working again. Stove knobs all broke off gas stove... under 3 yrs old. Also dont bother using the cleaning mode on your gas stove. Its known to get so hot it fries the circuit board. Costly repair I had on that one.Washer tears clothes and cant use bleach anymore because it goes through the compartment prematurely and blotches my load. TVs lasted no more than 3 years and my phone sucks. I have wasted so much money let alone time waiting for service people to show... or not to show. Customer service... a total joke. Never willing to resolve issues. I have over $8000 in home appliances and electronics that, unfortunately dont know when they will see their day. But when its time, Samsung will never again be my choice. Cant afford to buy junk anymore. But they dont care. They got my money. Dont let them get yours!

We purchased a new Samsung Refrigerator two months ago. (French doors with two drawers) Overall, I am satisfied with the refrigerator, with the exception of nothing really fits inside the left side door shelves. The issue I am having was with the customer support area. We spilled ice tea in the refrigerator and it has seeped under the glass on the bottom shift. I contacted the 1 800 726 7864 phone number and was told it would be over a 30 minute hold time and I could leave a number for a return call from a technician and I did. The call back was from an individual with not a technician with experience. She more interested in collecting purchasing data than support and I final explained all I wanted was help in how to remove the shelf so I could clean it. There was a long hold and she was looking up answers from a prompter and taking more time to key the conversation than help. Since I was having issues understanding the person and we were wasting our time I asked to be transferred to someone else. I was told they could not do that because the call came to her area basically. Totally disappointed in there customer support for such easy question. If you purchase from Samsung you will get little support from customer services.

Microwave is literally 16 days old and it smokes and sparks! So today we started the process of returning this microwave that is a fire hazard. The call process is ridiculous! The first representative who we called said, “Sure return the microwave” and told us to go to the website. Well that wasnt correct as nothing was there so called back second person said we cant return it transferred us to another dept. as the order # isnt there and cant find us. They hung up during the transfer, go figure...call back and they said, “Will give you a person to contact so you can have it looked at, a shop person technician”...Sooo we called the technician office, they said we’re not in the system 18 mins later and they will start a warranty claim. Whatever that means. Here we sit waiting for the technician office to call to set up an appt. We literally just bought this junk and received it on the 16th of August 2018. Weve been in another state for a funeral so we missed the cutoff, go figure. This $200 piece of junk sparks and smokes when you use it. We will now have to drive this junk to a shop to have it looked at because they refuse to return it after 15 days. And I refuse to have this crap plugged into my house to blow up. Then we will hope that the person there doesnt blow up and is component enough to fix it. So bottom line you will need to set a day off to call many departments waiting for someone to call you back but they will refuse to return your product after 15 days even though its defected. Note: there is a place you can call if the item is defected. They will return it for money back at 30 days but only if it was damaged in transit. Dont do what we did. Stay away far away!
