LG Dishwasher Model LDPS6762D Error Codes

CODE: IE
PROBLEM: Not filling
FIX: Check that the water supply cut-off valve for the dishwasher is fully open. Check the water inlet supply hose for a kink. Unplug the dishwasher, shut off the water supply and disconnect the inlet supply hose from the inlet water valve. Check the filter screen on the inlet water valve for a clog-replace the valve if the filter screen is clogged.

CODE: OE
PROBLEM: Not draining
FIX: Check the sink drain or garbage disposal for a clog and clear any clogs you find. If the sink or garbage disposal drains okay, pull off the dishwasher drain hose from the sink or garbage disposal connection and check the end of the drain hose for a grease clog. Clear grease clogs from the drain hose. If the dishwasher uses an air gap, check the air gap for clogs and clear any clogs.

CODE: AE or E1
PROBLEM: Water leak detected
FIX: Abnormally high circulation pump speed caused by low water level in the tub can cause the AE or E1 error codes. Water that leaks into the base of the dishwasher cabinet and trips the flood switch can also cause the AE or EI code. Unplug the dishwasher and shut off the water supply. Check the dishwasher cabinet base for water. If water leaked into the base, find and repair the cause of the leak. Water could leak from the water fill line, water inlet guide, drain pump, drain hose, door seals or sump.

CODE: FE
PROBLEM: Water overflow detected
FIX: The drain pump automatically runs when the FE code is displayed. A leaking water inlet valve or a stuck relay on the electronic control board can allow water to fill the dishwasher constantly. To check for a leaky water inlet valve, unplug the dishwasher and see if the tub continues to fill with water. If it does, shut off the water supply and replace the water inlet valve because the valve is letting water to flow into the dishwasher constantly.

CODE: tE
PROBLEM: Thermistor (temperature sensor) failure
FIX: Unplug the dishwasher and disconnect the wires from the thermistor on the heater. Measure the resistance through the thermistor using a multimeter. The meter should measure 11,320 ohms at 75 degrees (room temperature). Replace the heater assembly (which includes the thermistor) if the meter measures less than 1,000 ohms or more than 20,000 ohms.

CODE: LE
PROBLEM: Locked up circulation pump motor
FIX: Unplug the dishwasher and check for an obstruction that's preventing the pump impeller from spinning. Remove any debris or foreign objects from the sump. If the pump impeller is clear, check the wiring connections on the pump and reconnect any loose wires. If the wiring connections are okay, unplug the wire harness from the motor and check the resistance through pins 1-2, pins 2-3 and pins 1-3 of the motor using a multimeter. The meter should measure between 8 and 20 ohms (resistance of the motor windings).

CODE: HE
PROBLEM: Heater failure
FIX: This code appears when water isn't heating or when the thermistor (temperature sensor) detects that water temperature is higher than 194 degrees. If water inside the dishwasher tub is extremely hot, measure water temperature using an accurate thermometer. If the thermometer measures water temperature near 190 degrees, then you'll likely need to replace the electronic control board because a stuck heater relay on the control board is causing the heating element to stay on constantly.

CODE: nE
PROBLEM: Diverter motor failure
FIX: Unplug the dishwasher and check the wire harness connections on the diverter motor and diverter position switch. Reconnect any loose wires. If the wiring connections are okay, unplug the diverter motor wires and check resistance through the motor using a multimeter. The meter should measure around 4,000 ohms of resistance. Replace the diverter motor if the meter measure infinite resistance.

5 years ago I bought a LG stove. Every year since I have to replace the handles. They melt and crack and I find it unreal that any stove would have melting handles as I explained to the service rep. She told me that being it is the 4th time I need to replace them she would try to get them for me at no charge and she would call me back in 2 days with a answer. That was a week ago and I never heard a word. Today I call to find out again I have to purchase them... another 100 bucks. Dont buy from them. They are ripping off customers.

ALL appliances purchased June - Aug 2020 (they arrived at different times). I INSISTED on getting LG appliances, as I had only known them to be a superior product. BOY was I shocked at the horrible product they have become. Our new appliances were purchased all at once. Our washer was defective from the first day and had to be replaced, our new fridge is making strange sounds and needs to be repaired (I suspect it is the compressor), and our dishwasher refuses to latch closed on a regular basis. The reviews I read now are horrible and it sickens me that I saved for years to buy new appliances that are in my opinion, garbage. As far as LG goes, run away as hard and as fast as you can! Ps: their customer service in regards to the repairs were very rude in spite of my being polite. One young guy actually hung up on me after I had to call three times for a response! HORRIBLE product, HORRIBLE service...

The ABSOLUTE WORST company and customer service!! I purchased a French door refrigerator in May through JCPenney. I also purchased the extended warranty. Five months later the refrigerator showed an error code - dhF. I called LG and they sent a serviceman who walked in the house, looked at the code and said he did not have the parts needed to fix it. I asked him how he knew what he needed without opening the refrigerator and he stated that it is a problem that LG knows about but continues to sell defective equipment anyway, they just sent someone out to replace parts. Needless to say, I was not happy. I called JCPenney who pushed me off to LG and have spoken with a total of 11 different people, all who have done nothing to help me. I want the refrigerator replaced. Thanksgiving Day, it stopped working altogether and we had to scramble to get coolers and buy a small refrigerator to place some food in. Today, the day after Thanksgiving, all of LG supervisors are on extended break because of the holiday. DO NOT EVER purchase anything from this company. It is criminal that they sell defective appliances and know about it. All they care about is the bottom line. If there was a choice for 0 stars, that is what they would be rated.

This model is an older LG, before the compressor fiasco began, only part that has failed thus far is the freezer compartment ice maker. I know that the company is trying to produce highly efficient products, but I say “At what cost are they willing to sacrifice?” Everyone knows that the units being produced nowadays are in no way, shape or form as reliable as the units from yesteryear. I say will those companies making these low quality, high priced appliances stop making trash for the landfills and make them better.

I purchased a Top Load LG HE washer in Nov 2013. It replaced a 27 year old Kenmore that I never put a dime into repairing. I cried the day that washer died. It has been two years of hell with this machine. UE are the letters now that make me want to throw a two year old tantrum. I have literally seen these two letters on the front panel of this washer more times than I can count. I am now keeping a log of every load and how many times the UE appears before I can actually get a load done. It is usually a minimum of 2. Every part that can possibly be replaced has been done.I have one final repair man coming in a week. He just needs to say that at this point the washer is unrepairable and I will get a replacement. It doesnt matter what type of load I do, sheets, towels, jeans, every one will be UE. If I could take a sledgehammer to it I would. My question now is who is making a decent washing machine that doesnt cost a fortune? I think we need to go back to the old style of set your wash level, temp and what type if load. I want to tell my machine what to do and not the other way around.Im so tired of taking all day to do one load of wash. My old machine would take 25 minutes top. A cotton normal cycle with fabric softener takes 1 hour and 11 minutes in this machine, really??? LG, go back to the drawing board and give your customers a machine that we can say good thing about and not turn grown women into raging lunatics who just want to throw a tantrum every time they do a load of laundry!

I have an LG washer stainless steel drum that I paid $900.00 for! The washer is out of the warranty and started banging. I contacted LG with my problem and I got no response! My boyfriend, who works in tool and die, and my dad took it apart. The bearings were rusted into the drum. I am not happy! How could the bearings rust into a stainless steel drum? I tried calling to order parts and the answer that I keep getting from repair places is good luck getting parts from LG! This is ridiculous! I will never recommend or buy anything LG again!

Purchased LG fridge LFC22770 in 6-2014. Two months ago food began to defrost in freezer. Called their service. The touted built-in diagnostic signal did not transmit a code. Was given phone number, after a 45 min. wait, to a TV repair business. What a joke. This morning we smelled burning electrical odor. My husband removed back cover and sparks were shooting out and wires had already melted. Imagine if we had gone to work or been on vacation?! Total hazard. Could have easily ignited cabinets next to and above unit. What if this had happened while we were asleep! The nightmare of the repair or replacement still awaits us as this is Saturday.

While our new LG free standing dual oven gas range cooked superbly, it is a clear danger and we convinced our retailer to accept return, even though they advised that LG would not. The control knobs turned inadvertently, allowing the gas line to open, without igniting. The technicians claimed it worked as designed. How could that be? On multiple occasions reaching for something in the cabinets above or the microwave caused the knobs the move, despite only grazing the knob. In a separate incident, our electrician placed a tarp on the range to prevent anything falling on the cook top and again, an inadvertent touching ignited the tarp. While nobody was hurt this time and no permanent property damage, we refused to accept this. We were very pleased with our retailer, PC Richard, when they agreed to the return. We recommend that nobody accept the risk.

My experience with this washer has been completely unacceptable. When attempting to run a small load, the machine shuts down completely during the spin cycle due to imbalance. On one occasion it took over three hours to complete a small load as the load had to be redistributed and the washer restarted on three/four separate occasions. When I e-mailed LG regarding this problem I was told to check the circuit breaker!! This is a design flaw. LG as well as some other manufacturers have eliminated the costly, heavy and expensive transmissions found in earlier washers with a system that just plain doesnt work. The agitation is so poor that clothing in the middle of the load barely gets wet much less cleaned. I am tired of removing dirty laundry from this machine after the load is done.

The washer goes unbalanced since I bought it new. Ive called LG MULTIPLE TIMES and they have done nothing about it. They finally want to send out a repairman but per my research I have found out that the repairman will change my computer board and slow down the spin on my machine leaving my clothes wet still. This is not what I paid $700 for, its deceptive trade practice. Ive called Sears and LG both and neither is gonna stand behind their product. LG customer service is horrible and if you comment with a negative comment on their facebook page they will just remove it. If LG was a honest company they would leave THE NEGATIVE COMMENTS UNTIL THEY RESOLVE THE ISSUE.

After two and a half years, this $2,000 refrigerator would not dispense water or ice. We had three people out to try to repair and none of them could. We called LG who told us to call a certified repair person but no offer to stand behind their product. We are now making our own ice and using water out of the kitchen faucet rather than spend more money on this piece of junk. After reading these other reviews, we should soon be experiencing no cooling or freezing to take place at which time we will buy a new refrigerator of any other brand.

Our refrigerator starting beeping every 30 seconds. We checked all the troubleshooting suggestions from leveling, moving around the food, buying thermostats, to making sure the doors were closed. We figured out the beeping was the freezer section. We called LG who immediately said the sensor was bad and that the part was covered but the labor will not be. It seems that this is a known problem. Im just wondering why, if its a known defect... why isnt it covered. I havent had the refrigerator for 7 years yet so it should be covered. Right?!?! We corrected the problem by taping down the switch that turns on the light in the freezer section. Last night, 4:32 am, the other section started beeping. It beeps for every 30 seconds for about 20 minutes and then stops for a few hours. Id rather not be able to see in my refrigerator than spend hundreds for repair. The temps are fine. This dryer has ruined our clothing. I get so upset every time I use it, the damage it does is upsetting and ruins my day. The clothing gets stuck on the stupid lint filter because it will not go in completely, it sticks up on both ends just enough to damage clothing by twisting it until it breaks. I will never buy another LG product again, and I will be sure to spread the word. This dryer was expensive, I bought it because I expected it to dry our clothing without damage. I am so disgusted with the flaw in the lint filter.

I have posted here before about the smell from my LG Tromm washer. I have been reading other posts regarding leaving the door open and peeling paint. I have always left the door of my washer open and, as Ive posted before, still get that awful smell. We are at the point now of needing to replace the washing machine after 3 years because our clothes smell so bad. We have tried all the front-loading washing machine cleaners we can find and have used bleach in the tub clean as per the owners manual. One of the worst smelling items is our wonderful towels. After showering, we have to remember not to breathe deeply while drying our faces! And I just noticed the paint is peeling off the front of the machine, near one of the “seams”. It is almost like the way wet latex paint will just wipe off if. It is painted over an oil-based paint. What can we do about this? I really cant afford to buy another washing machine already.

We purchased an LG suite of appliances in 2009 from Home Depot. SS French door refrigerator, microwave, upgraded dishwasher and glass cooktop oven. Since that time, we have had 2 service calls on icemaker not working right - need to call again! Dishwasher had 3 calls and it still wont clean. We were reimbursed the cost of it after complaining. Microwave touch panel has had to be replaced and now its a guessing game if you can get cooktop eyes to come on, along with grease in between the two glass windows. Have three boxes of parts here waiting on the guy to come back and replace the touch panel on the oven and the glass. Thank goodness we bought the extended warranty. I am sure we will use it again before it expires in November. Not happy with LG and HD should be embarrassed to sell such inferior products. Next go round will be with neither and its a shame because HD is my local economy booster, but for what we paid, we didnt get what we deserved, which was a quality product that should last for years!

Well this is the third time a service person has been out. When I called about the UE the first time I was told it was out of balance. I assured the person that it was doing this even with only 3 pieces of clothing in the machine and that the machine was balanced and checked with a level. So they send someone out to look at it and say it needs a computer part. Great parts ordered and problem solved. Wrong!!! Needless to say not very long after we end up having an issue that the UE goes on then the machine starts to go back to 20 minutes when there was only 5 minutes left. It does this 6 times and 2 hours later still messing with it, I call for service again. Well, again we need another part. Now a few months later, which brings us to this month July 2016 we have UE and the washer is now turning its lights on like it is going to start up without having any laundry in it and nobody being in the room. If it does successfully get a load done it will not turn the lights off. Service out again and another order for more parts. Gee, you would think LG would want to keep up good business practices and recall the washers. If a business backs its mistakes, it makes you want to purchase their brand again but if they dont then you run far away and tell anyone that will listen. My electric is sky high to begin with because it is Toledo Edison and now with the washer issues it is even worse. Nobody should have to wait 2 hours on a quick wash. I personally will not buy LG anymore and will make sure to tell people when I see them in stores shopping for washers to find another brand.

The load is constantly off balance and the machine will continue to add water and move clothes around until I stop it. You cannot leave this washer running without constantly checking it. Clothes do not clean even after sloshing in the water for an hour. I have the original receipt, and would love to replace it. In 2013 we purchased the set of LG washer/dryer from a well-known appliance outlet chain. Earlier this year (2015) we noticed the washing machine started leaking. In fact, water was leaking out from the bottom of the machine and collecting in the drain pan. We immediately contacted the store we purchased it from who informed us that our warranty had expired, and they would have to charge us x-amount of dollars to troubleshoot. Instead we did some extensive research on the LG machines, only to find tons of video complaints from other angry and frustrated consumers. The leakage seems to be consistent with many other complaints. The detergent dispenser tray slot has mildew build up behind the tray itself. The bleach dispenser tray is rusting... what the heck.We finally pulled the back of the cover off to notice the water was pouring out the back of the machine during the rinse cycle. Basically $700.00 put the window... and this is the top loader extra capacity washer without the middle agitation piece. Newsflash, another service tech shared that your clothes arent even getting as clean as they should without the agitator piece in the machine which helps move the clothes around. Technology... you have to wonder. LG knows these issues exist and still push out these poor performing products. Sad. I am definitely in on a class action suit... lets band together and get it started. Conyers, Ga angry and disappointed.

LG WM3670HWA - Bought a new washer ($650) and installed in May 2017. Recently experienced squeaking noises during the spin cycle. Called LG. They sent out a technician to look at the machine. LG charged me $125 for the service call. The tech said that the rear bearing was defective. The cost to fix was estimated to be $500. However, the technician told me that LG discontinued the parts needed to fix the washer, so he couldnt fix it even if he wanted to. So I spent $650 on a washer and another $125 on a service call, to find out that a 14 month old washer is junk and cannot be repaired.I called LG to try and resolve the issue. They refused to do anything AT ALL. I wasnt asking for a new washer or anything like that. I requested that they at least waive the $125 service call, since the washer couldnt be fixed. They refused to waive the service fee and gave me no concession on anything. It was really great at the end of the call to hear, Have a wonderful day! Seriously!!?? I never write reviews, but had to vent on this one. My bad for not buying an extended warranty, but theyre bad for not even stocking parts to fix their lousy products. I will never buy an LG product again. I feel completely ripped off.

I have called all of the companies on the LG service and they refuse to handle any calls with LG-Lousy Garbage, as LG has not been paying them. LG told me to call any appliance service and see if they would come and fix it???? I am ready to eat the $2300.00 and get this garbage out of my house. If I could give a minus in their rating, it would be negative 100. Whatever you do, read all of the bad reviews and buy a dependable appliance. I know I will get an automated response from Lousy Garbage. Lowes is trying to get me a return from LG. I am not holding my breath. I believe I should have read all the comments people made on LG products before making my purchases. Sadly, I now have to be among the complainers, in Aug 2016 Ive purchased all LG appliances. I am already experiencing issues with the refrigerator and service. Refrigerator is constantly running, I swear it may stop for 5 min and run for hrs. I am tired keeping track. Ive called and emailed LG, their response was perhaps the doors and leveling need adjustment. In short, I contacted the store that I made my purchase from, & was told to call the warranty dpt. & when I did, the earliest that the technician can come out to check it out is mid-Sept. OMG what have I got myself into. Nobody needs to go through all this. Come on manufacturers start getting serious and listen to what people are saying. We are not just making noise, these are legitimate concerns and complaints. As consumers, we are paying high prices for appliances we should get good years of use without complaints.

I had it replaced once and when it happened with the second top, I called LG and they said all they can do is replace the flat top again. I have had a flat top for many years and know what to do as far as pans, and not sliding the cookware, etc. The customer service representative kept on stating it was my fault and it was scratched. It wasnt scratched because I didnt do anything wrong with the pans. They told me at customer service all they could do was replace it again. I think that there is a defect with the flat tops because my old flat top didnt do what these flat tops are doing. I am upset with the product because I thought I finally got a convection oven that would cook right and it doesnt.

I bought a LG Electric Range, Model # LSE4611ST in Feb. 2020. I have just used the self-clean option and it did not clean the oven completely. I used an oven cleaner and now I have white blotches all over the oven. I have never owned an oven that could not handle oven cleaners. I would like to know how to fix this issue in my $1600 range. Very upset this happened to my fairly new range!

My husband bought me a pair of LG appliances for Christmas of 2014. In March of 2015, we had an issue with the fridge. It took 2 weeks to resolve. In April of 2015, same issue....freezer frosting up, then stopped cooling. It was a compressor problem..shocking. June of 2019 freezer stopped working, next day fridge part quit. 2 days to get a tech (who was wonderful). Tried to say it is a sulfur problem in the water (our water is filtered), then the compressor and now its also the motherboard...all at one time. Trying to get a unit replacement because obviously, the refrigerator is a lemon. I uploaded all the receipts and supporting documents and now I have to wait until JULY 8th!!!! to get this fixed. I am under warranty for at least 6 more years. At this point Id like to be refunded for this obviously defective appliance.

We purchased the LG French Door Refrigerator a few years ago and honestly has been nothing but problems and issues since the purchase. From the beginning, several parts (plastic door holders) starting falling off and breaking. We have had repair people out multiple times in the past few years (including again today). The refrigerator often freezes items and the freezer does not freeze (yes this is somewhat ironic). The freezer door is currently broken and ice maker is hanging down. Also, LG customer has been very difficult to work with, one of the most difficult appliance and customer service experiences I have ever had. If given another opportunity, we would not buy another LG fridge. I hope this is helpful and saves future buyers the challenging experience we have had with this fridge.

Everything about this stove is fine except for the front burner grids. Some fancy designer who has never cooked on a stove in his life decided that it would LOOK GOOD if the front burner grates curved in to match the shape of the griddle. It leaves a big gap on the outer corner of the stove and I ran into the frying pan handle and the pan and all of its hot bacon grease contents went flying across my kitchen. I thought I was being more careful when I hit the handle of a pot of hot stew and it went flying across the kitchen. You must keep your children out of the kitchen when using these front burners. THIS IS A HUGE HAZARD! DO NOT BUY AN LG STOVE WITH GRIDDLE IN THE MIDDLE.

BAD WASHER. I had a Frigidaire washer that lasted 15 years without a problem. Then, I purchased the LG top load washing machine. It constantly goes UE (uneven). I have to monitor it, or it refills and waste gallons of water trying to fix the UE . It loses its mind and sets more time, usually 11 minutes, and then it would refill with water again and again. Clothes never spun out completely. I can say this is the worse machine I have ever owned. It goes out of balance so many times during the wash cycle that it takes hours to wash a load. It keeps filling with water trying to rebalance itself, and I ultimately end up stopping it with the clothes still wet because it will not spin them out. LG told me I have to have repair people out 3 times for same issue before they consider replacing it. Still waiting for an “out of stock part”… three weeks. This is unacceptable! I have already told people that I will never buy an LG product.

The first problem was (what I found out is very common) the pump broke. The hose had to be drained and the pump replaced. Paid for new pump from authorized LG repairman plus fee for his visit. Second problem, the dryer settings stopped working. No matter what settings were selected the dryer stopped at 20 minutes. Clothes were not dry. Now we can only use the Time Dry and Temperature selection. At least we can dry the clothes. Third, the washer stopped working. We tried following instructions from LG and nothing worked. They suggested calling their authorized repairman who would charge for the visit as well as parts, etc. All the blue lights blink but the washer will not choose a setting and doesnt start. We tried holding the start button down for 3-10 seconds. Song plays. Nothing happens. Still cannot select setting. Occasionally it is in a good mood and works normally--about 1 in 200 tries. The only way I have been getting it to wash clothes at all is by holding down the Start button at the same time as the Pause/Play button. Then IT selects a setting, usually Cotton, and the door locks and washer starts. All through cycle all lights blink including the orange one for Delayed Wash. Now nothing is happening but the blue lights for Start and Pause/Play come on, song plays and no selection, no start, no way to operate washer. We were told LG was the BEST brand. Lifes Good their commercials say. They should change them to LNG: Lifes Not Good because now we cant wash our clothes and drying must be done manually. THESE WERE VERY EXPENSIVE APPLIANCES. SHOULD HAVE GONE TO SEARS AND BOUGHT THE CHEAPEST ONES SO WE COULD REPLACE THEM WHEN THEY BREAK. Its cheaper than paying the authorized repairman to come out, pay for his visit and parts. All computerized and were told on the phone that the whole panel might need to be replaced. THAT WILL NEVER HAPPEN.

I am so fed up with my two LG front load washers which I purchased in August, 2006. 1 1/2 years ago the cold water valve had to be replaced in #1 washer. Six months ago, the hot water valve had to be replaced in #2 washer. Today the cold water valve had to be replaced in #1 washer again. I paid over $2,000.00 for these washers. Doesnt anything last more than 4 years? Next time Im buying top loading, cheap washers so when they break, I will just throw them out and buy new ones.

LG French Door Bottom Freezer Counter Depth Model LFC21776ST - Purchased this $2500+ refrigerator in March 2011. From the reviews, it seems we were lucky to have gone 3 years without a major issue. Our freezer stopped freezing this week and now the refrigerator has stopped altogether as well. We called our reliable appliance co. and they wouldnt touch the sealed unit for fear of voiding our manufacturers warranty of 7 years on parts. Contacted LG and were referred to Affordable Service Appliances in San Diego who were authorized reps for LG. Yelp reviews for this place were absolutely HORRIBLE but the rep came out and said we need a new compressor (in less than 60 seconds of looking at unit) and quoted $580 with LG picking up cost of parts needed. After reading all of these reviews, we are shopping for another refrigerator rather than wasting money on a short lived repair. Luckily we have ALL LG products (microwave, range & dishwasher) and are looking forward to them failing too. Buyer beware.... DO NOT BUY LG.... Remember they use to be Lucky Goldstar which was a low quality electronics company. Should have looked at reviews before purchasing a refrigerator with a linear drive compressor.

I needed a dishwasher. LG had a whole set of stuff on sale and I thought it looked good. So I bought it all including the refrigerator and the washer. I also use LG phones, so I like their products. Within an hour after the service people left and delivered, I noticed a dent in the refrigerator door. We then had multiple appointments. The guy came out twice and he didn’t have what he needed. Then we had more appointments that were cancelled. Finally, I had one that they cancelled and when I called the vendor that I had been dealing with, they told me that I had to refile my claim. I then got a hold of LG directly and I found out that the vendor had ordered in a wrong door and all this time, they never returned it, so LG never sent them a replacement. So the vendor kept scheduling an install and they expected me to have the door. The vendor was not knowledgeable at all.It took about nine months to get the refrigerator done. But I love it. My favorite feature is that little extra door on it, but the shelving is not adjustable enough. I can’t get them on the height I would like them. And on the dishwasher, the settings are not made for American dishes. It’s small in the rack and certain spaces, and not as flexible as my older one was and it seems to not hold as many dishes, either.

I purchased this washer about 2.5 years ago and my frustration with it began shortly after I started using it due to its poor performance. It is frequently off balance. Even if it only has water and no clothes it will work for a minute or two then stop indicating its off balance. Washing clothes is an all day affair at times and I wash clothes by hand sometimes to avoid using this hated washer. When it becomes off balance it will drain the water out and refill again and again so any savings on low water usage are non-existent. I started a load at 6:00 am this morning and it should have taken 57 minutes. (It is now 7:45.) After my having to adjust the clothes in the barrel several times the machine tells me it needs 30 more minutes to complete which with my experience could actually mean multiple more imbalances and more time.... I truly HATE this washer and would encourage anyone to NEVER buy it.

I bought my first LG front load washer 4 years ago. Stopped working, repair person sad it was the bearings, changed them out, still not working, so had to service second time, changed internal set of bearings so ok, now a new problem. The water is pouring out of the bottom of machine. So back to repair person. He told me LG had by now paid more for repairs, than the machine is worth, so now LG finally agree to relapse my machine, but I had to drive 225km to pick it up myself. But died that, and now, only 1/1/2 years later this LG is also stuffed. So for me LG never again. Worst machine I ever had, and I am 76 years old, so have had a few machines. Shall go back to ASKO.

I purchased an LG French door refrigerator three years ago. It did not work from day one. All my vegetables were frozen. It took three trips to fix it. Then last Christmas, the main board went out. Now the compressor starting device went out, and none of the appliance parts places can locate it. I even called LG parts, and they are clueless. We ordered a repair service manual from LG, and that was incomplete. It did not contain part numbers for half the parts. Life might be good for LG, but it is a nightmare for their customer.

My boyfriend and I ordered a LG fridge online on June 25th for $1804.13. It was to be delivered on June 30th. My boyfriend left work to meet LG at our house. Two men took the fridge off the truck and out of the box and the back was damaged all smashed. My boyfriend told them we did not want that one and they took it back. LG never contacted us to when a new one would be delivered. I called them (on hold too long) and they told me they could not get another one here until July 11th. I couldnt believe it, I asked why so long and LG said that is the next date a truck could get to my location. I thought since it was their mistake maybe they should go a little out of their way for a customer, but no, there was nothing they could or would do. So 12 days without a fridge. We had to use a cooler just for water, milk and half for our coffee, buying ice constantly. We went out to eat a lot, which is really expensive. It was a nightmare! I called LG again and complained to a Manager/Supervisor and had to go through about an hour on the phone explaining the story over and over until I finally could get them to connect me with a supervisor and he was not very helpful but he finally said once the fridge was delivered LG would send me a check for $100.00 for my troubles, but I had to call back once the fridge was delivered. I asked why I had to wait and he stated that is their policy. I think they want you to forget about it once you get your new fridge. Well I didnt. I called back and asked for the same Supervisor, I did write down his name, Jerold. After being on hold again and explaining my story again to 2 different employees, I finally talk to Jerold and he said they will send me a check in the mail. Now it is Sept 6th and no check came in the mail.I called back LG asked to speak to Jerome, they couldnt get me Jerome, said they have a lot of Supervisors located all over and I would have to speak to whoever picked up my call. I was on hold for 20 minutes. A woman answered. I asked if she was a Supervisor, she said yes then she asked me for my phone # and put me back on hold for 5 min. She came back on the phone and said she didnt see my order. I then told her the whole situation and said maybe she should have asked me what the issue was before she put me on hold so quickly. She told me that there was no Jerome that worked there. I said it was the same # that I previously called, twice. Then I told her that the order was under my boyfriends phone # and I have the order # and the model # and sku #. She wasnt really listening, but looked up my boyfriends # and asked for the model # and said she saw no order for us.I couldnt believe it. The new fridge is in our kitchen that they delivered. I yelled at her, I just couldnt get over the way they treat customers. So I went on the computer and had a live chat on their website. The woman on the computer found the order under my boyfriends phone #. Maybe they should find a better way to keep track of orders (maybe by the order #) but she said that she had spoke to the woman, Supervisor, that I just got off the phone with and there is nothing they could do for me. Then said that they do not have a Jerome that works there and they do not give back any type of reimbursement or refund for bad service or unhappy customers. It is not their policy. I guess it not their policy to keep customers happy. It was their fault I went without a fridge for as long as I did. It was their fault I had to spend a lot more than I should have on food for two weeks, after giving them One Thousand Eight Hundred dollars.I think LG Supervisors do it on purpose, tell you to call back once the fridge is delivered, wait for a check in the mail, all tactics to make you give up. Well I didnt give up and it got me nowhere. LG also tried to say it was a Home Depot issue. Well Home Depot connected me to them, and why did a Supervisor from LG, Jerome, say he would send a check in the mail. I called Home Depot and they said they wouldnt do that, they would have reimbursed some of our payment. I have never been this angry but we spent a lot of money and hassle over this, and it is not over $100.00. It is about the way I was treated.

We were limited by the space we had available to put the refrigerator in height as well as depth and width. Issue of getting in the doors of the house also. We had to take handles off refrigerator and freezer doors to get the unit in the house. Dont really like that we now have a water filter on the ice and water line that needs to be replaced ever 6 months. The excess ice needs to be taken off the door and dumped into the ice bin in the freezer. Freezer is on the bottom and when drawer is pulled out it limits movement into the kitchen area from family room. The housing for the water filter is not all that substantial could have been designed a little better. Still, we like the led lighting the ice and water dispensers and individual compartments for fruits and vegetables. The door display reminds you of how long the doors are open.

The last one, the lady who answered said and I quote You have to remove the second drawer, open the door twice every 27 times you open the freezer door, pull up and down on the door and to align the track and slam close twice. Purchased a LG refrigerator in 2017. On Thursday morning 5/21 it just stopped working. No freezer no refrigerator. I immediately called customer service to set up a service call, that was Thursday morning. I was told by the service representative that the service technician would call me back within 24 to 48 hours with a time and date for the service call. I called then this morning 5/22 to double check on the information I had given them because there was some confusion with my contact phone number. I was informed by the new customer service person that the service call had been accepted and then rejected. When I inquired as to what that meant he told me that there is no one available in my area to service the refrigerator. When I asked him to explain what that meant he said that the compressor needs a technician with special training to repair the problem and they could not find one. I dont live in the middle of nowhere, there is a city of 900,00 thirty minutes from my house so I am not sure why they had no problem selling the refrigerator to me but they dont have the resources to repair it. I was told that it would probably be next week before someone would be out to fix the problem. From what the customer service representative stated it is most likely the compressor, after three year of use the compressor went out. I just purchased a new freezer after the old one died and it was thirty five years old, this one goes out in three years. This is the last LG product that I will ever buy, unfortunately this has been an expensive lesson.

We bought this LG refrigerator Jan 21, 2012. It is the biggest waste of a thousand dollars we have ever spent. Last Labor Day it stopped cooling. Had to wait a week for a repairman. One took pity on me and told me over the phone to remove the back and dry out with a blow dryer. It worked. So now this Labor Day it wouldnt cool again. And guess what, had to wait another week. We decided not to melt the ice since we had a warranty. The repairman came, took the back off and fiddled around, said it was good and left. The fridge, still four hours later wont go below 40. We called the repairman. He said it is ok to put some food in. So we did, really fast. Now it is 50 degrees. Clearly we will be going back to coolers and five bags of ice a day again. We are so fed up. PLEASE dont buy LG. Not only does it not work well, but it dents if you look at it, and the little humidity control on the veggie bins snapped off the first three days. Just hate it. But it was the largest fridge that would fit through our small doors. So we had to buy it. PLEASE PLEASE dont make the same mistake. Now cancelling cats surgeries to buy another fridge soon. Sigh.. Anyone know a brand that works?

They transfer me to east coast parts authorized store (NOT LG) and they gave me the 12-31-16 date. When I ask why take too long she said because the refrigerator is old and they do not stock parts from discontinued models. Sears sold 750 of this failing fans. That means they have a quality problem with the product and should have stock to resolve the inconvenience. Recommendation STAY AWAY FROM LG PRODUCTS.

We were concerned about the reliability of the LG brand and asked the salesman; he said he hadnt heard of any problems and that they were reliable. We decided to go with the LG. We started having problems last year and the main circuit board went out, which was about $500 to fix.I asked several friends if they have had trouble with any LG appliances and I was shocked at how many people I know who have had trouble with the reliability of LG. I wish Id followed my instincts and avoided the LG brand. Our fridge is now incessantly beeping, even when the door is not open. Today, it started grumbling very loudly. Im afraid Im in for another giant repair bill. I really wish wed bought the GE Profile fridge.

We purchased an LG WT4970CW washing machine in August 2014 from Best Buy. Shortly after using it, I noticed some of laundry would be dry on top, especially sheets. Sheets would be pulled tightly across top of drum and be completely dry - obviously were not touched by water and detergent. Then, on subsequent loads, the machine kept giving error message: UE which means the load is out of balance. Machine shuts off in middle of cycle and you have to open the lid, pull the laundry out and rearrange it, close lid and machine turns on again. However, during one load, this happened up to six times and it took me four hours to complete one load of laundry. I dont stand by the machine while it is doing its job, so when I would expect the laundry to be done, I would go to my basement only to see the UE displayed which meant it wasnt finished.I had a repair person come to my home last week (10/2018). He called and spoke with an LG technical support person. He explained the problem and was told I was doing the laundry incorrectly. The LG agent told him I have to wash only like items at one time. In other words, if I have a load of jeans, tee shirts, polo shirts, mens underwear, socks, I need to sort the clothes and wash the jeans separate from the shirts, separate from the underwear and socks!!! The machine goes out of balance almost every time I wash two bath towels, one hand towel, and one washcloth along with a nightgown and some underwear. The LG agent said I should only be washing towels (up to six bath towels) at one time and nothing else. This is not how REALITY works! It would take me a full day to do the equivalent of two loads of laundry. It would also defeat the purpose of the water-conserving feature of these new machines. I would need to do six tiny loads of laundry in place of my normal two loads. Also, I do not have enough clothing to wait until I have a full load of just underwear so it is a normal-sized load. I dont even have enough pants and shirts to wait until I have a full load of just pants to wash. This machine is only 4-1/2 years old and I have to replace it. I also bought the extended warranty, but was only offered a one-year extension for parts only. Of course, the warranty expired in August 2016.The repair person said there were no parts to replace or would make sense to replace, because the cost of the repair would be almost the cost of a new machine with no guarantee it would fix the problem. He told me my complaints are very common complaints he has heard over and over from his customers regarding their LG machines. The repairperson highly recommended I buy a Speed Queen TR7000 which works almost the same way my 35-year-old Maytag washer worked and it comes with a seven-year materials and labor warranty. Cant wait to give the LG machine the heave-ho and get the Speed Queen machine! I will never buy ANY LG product as long as I live.

Had my dishwasher delivered 25 August 2016. On Halloween it gave error code AE. LG customer service said not their problem it is an installation issue. HHGregg came out and said no it is defective the installation was correct. The machine then gave code LE so I called LG back. They had a repair shop call me and I explained the codes. The shop ordered the parts. After days of calling they finally answered and said LG had not given them a delivery time frame and to call LG. I called LG and they said not their problem and to call shop. I called LG back and complained. After days of arguing they assigned another company because the first became unresponsive. The second and third company never contacted me and LG would say nothing but oh we are finding someone. Then I was referred to the refund/replacement department who said I would get a call on the decision. No call came so I had to call back. I called back and they said oh sorry we did not call you. It was rejected. I resubmitted because yet another repair shop was unresponsive. It is now 20 December and I may not get a decision until the 23rd. Then I get to wait 7-10 days for a refund or a new machine. LG is unwilling to accelerate the process or give me a supervisor who can make a decision. Every call I get a lecture about established procedures and timeframes that have to be followed. I have a 2 year old LG French door, bottom freezer LG stainless steel refrigerator. The refrigerator portion has stopped working. I have contacted 3 appliance repair companies that are LG certified. The air duct assembly that pushes the air to the refrigerator from the freezer is not available through LG. It is stating a 3 month back order. Appliance repair advisers stated that most often LG just discontinues parts if they have been on back order for a period of time. I have a 2 year old $2000 refrigerator that LG is unable to service. Every repairman that I have spoke to has stated never to buy from this company as they do not back their products or provide parts for repairs that are accessible in a timely manner. WARNING!!! DO NOT BUY LG APPLIANCES. They are unable to provide adequate service and repair. SAVE YOURSELF $1000S OF DOLLARS. BUY AMERICAN.

Since the day I bought my LG fridge I have had issues, a leaky water dispenser and frost building up in my freezer so I can’t use it. LG has sent repair here at least 9 times and they refuse to replace the fridge. There is always an excuse. The freezer door has been replaced 3 times and repair just left and LG had them here to verify that the fridge needs replacing. Once again they refuse to do so and are ordering another freezer door. Customer service lies to you on the phone and you just keep going around in circles. I spent a lot of money on this fridge as a replacement after our house being hit by a tornado and I am appalled at the treatment we have received! Shame on you LG! If I could rate it a zero I would!

Our French door model LG refrigerator failed just 10 days prior to the 5-year warranty period. The first indication was it would not make ice. This is caused by the freezer unit unable to maintain a freezing temperature. Service support wasnt available for 8 days. The service rep was not prepared to address a leak in the freon system. A second call was scheduled for a week later. The same rep came with another repair rep who said the sealed unit needed to be replaced. After replacement and adding freon, the unit worked for three weeks before failing again. The leak was obviously not repaired. I wont allow another LG repair rep into my home. I will instead go out to purchase another (non-LG) unit now. Do not purchase any LG products. No qualified repair service exists and the products have poor quality control and even worse design.

My 3 year old LG side by side refrigerator went out on the eve of Thanksgiving (11-27-19). We promptly called LG customer service and was told to wait 4-6 hours for the freezer to freeze again and was told to call back in the am to run the smart IQ diagnostics. Freezer and fridge both out. Most likely the compressor like everyone else. Called 11-29-19 and was given a service repair date of 12-5-2019. I thought that seemed a long time to wait but figured I’d survive. Mind you, we have a household of 9 (7 kids). The day of the 5th I started getting text from repair company saying I was changed to the 13th. Called LG for an earlier appointment and the long run around saga began with countless calls and continues with the same song and dance as everyone else on here. Two weeks without a working fridge and counting....

Bought my LG refrigerator 5 years ago to the day and the freezer and fridge wont cool - at room temperature. Called customer service and they said someone could come out on the 18th which doesnt work because I have a fridge full of food. They said that they could provide me with a list of authorized LG repairmen and I could use them for warranty work. They confirmed that my fridge was under warranty when I provided the serial number. I was emailed a list and when I called the first company on the list they told me that need an email from LG authorizing the work. I called LG back and was told I had to provide the part numbers to generate the email - obviously I cant answer this question. I convinced them this was impossible and they said they couldnt help because I had no proof of purchase. I told them the previous person had said it was covered and they told me there was no record of my previous call (even though both times I called through the App and provided the serial number and model number). Not sure where to go next.

This is the worst appliance purchase I have made. Most loads show as unbalanced to which the washer responds by refilling the tub with water. It is almost impossible to meet the machines balance requirements. The constant refilling makes the machine a little less than high efficiency. The companys position that you need to wash things of similar weight in a load is ridiculous. I would have to wait until every piece of clothing I own needed washing before I could meet that requirement. A typical load takes 2+ hours to complete which includes multiple attempts to rebalance the clothes. I would recommend that you look elsewhere. I cannot fathom why there are so many positive reviews for this giant POS. (Model WT1101CW)

About a month later it was leaking badly from the back area to all over my floor. I called the company they asked questions like do I have central air to cool down the fridge because that is likely the cause of the leaks. Im not happy it was a new fridge so it should not leak. It is a great investment to me and others. It is a really good fridge. If I need to improve it I would improve the space. I dislike the spacing. It could use more. Than that I actually has.

We have a WM2301HS bought in Sept 2010 and after a few months, we noticed that the are grease-like stains on some of the clothes, but not all the time. It is a pain to get those stains out. Some comments suggested the contents of the laundry are to blame, but judging from the complaints, we are not alone. Did anyone get this solved? All in all, this machine works great (and looks good). The only service call (yes, life was not good) we had at the beginning was to put a missing clamp on the bottom drain of the gasket (how could they miss that in assembly?).

If I could rate this with zero stars I would! There was nothing wrong with the 5 year year old washer, it was the computer board and LG no longer provides updates! Only 3 years in, Almost every load gets an unbalanced error. You have to adjust the load so it will start again. This can happen 5-10 times before you finish one load, which can take all day!! You can replace the computer board for just under $300???? Why would we keep using this machine or anything from LG?? We have never been so disappointed or frustrated!

This is a review of the LG customer service experience for a repair of an LFXS29626S French Door refrigerator. We woke up Christmas morning to find the 3yr old refrigerator was no longer cooling at all. Reviewing the warranty showed that the sealed system was still covered, so I placed a call to LG customer service. While the customer service phone rep was quite friendly/understanding and professional, thats where the enjoyable experience ended. Net-net is that after 4 months and 5 separate repair visits from 2 separate 3rd party repair shops, many phone calls, much lost time and spoiled food, the unit is still not functioning as expected. The unit was cooling properly after the 4th visit, but now the unit sounded like a leaf blower all the time. The final fix was more of a hack that only partially addressed the noise issue, but they say that it falls within spec tolerance.I called LG and requested escalation. Upon speaking to the escalation manager, I requested that they replace the unit since it was not actually fixed. She was very firm that the company had a process that must be followed and that they would not replace the unit. They offered a minimal reimbursement for the spoiled food, which would nowhere near cover all that we had lost. Either way, we have not received any reimbursement. At this point were going to put the unit in the garage and purchase another refrigerator - something other than LG. The thing that the company (especially the escalation manager) didnt seem to grasp was the concept of total customer value. Not only will this experience keep me from buying LG refrigerators in the future, but since they also sell everything from washers/dryers, to TVs, to cell phones, I will look elsewhere for many products. The marginal cost for them to simply replace the refrigerator would probably have been around $600, but instead they likely spent more than twice that on parts and 3rd party repair services. When you add that to the future lost revenue it was simply a bad business decision that could have been properly remedied in order to keep an affluent customer.

I purchased a $1,200, top of the line LG, in September of 2009. November of 2011 the machine came up with an error code of 1E, which the manual states a water inlet valve. So the part was replaced. Guess what? That wasnt the issue, so I contacted LG, and they had me go over some troubleshooting over the phone with no luck. So they gave me appliance repair centers that only deal with LG. To make a long story short, after having 2 parts swapped out - one was for $91.00, the inlet valve was $54.00 and another $91.00 yet to be paid to the appliance repair guy. Oh and I forgot about the computer board (which only has a 5 year warranty) was replaced - I have a $1,200.00 dishwasher that does not work!LG called me to say that they will prorate it by giving me $676.00. After all that was put into it, that comes to $440.00 and I have to send mine back. Hmm. I told LG that this is unacceptable. Her answer, Well sir, its a man made product, so I laughed in which I replied, So if I purchase anything from LG and it craps out after 3 years, I am supposed to just accept that Oh well! Its man made? My fellow consumers out there, beware. Life is not good with LG.

My LG washer turned itself on when I was not at home. It filled up with water and because it was not in a cycle the door wasnt locked so the pressure from the water pushed the door open and the water continued to pour out. I came home to my house being flooded, water went through my vents and into my crawlspace. When the repairman came he witnessed the washer doing it all over again! I called LG, they told me to get 2 estimates, send them pictures, fill out documents and send them my old parts and I did. I thought they were going to help. I am now going into my 6th week of them leading me on to believe they are going to help me. They keep saying they have to do testing then they said they had to send the main control panel to Korea for further testing. I have over 30,000 in damages, my daughter is allergic to mold and not one person at LG gives a hoot! I am setting my LG washer & dryer at the end of my driveway (its 3 years old) I will never ever purchase anything with those initials on it again! Their customer service is as bad as their product! Oh it also leaks water from underneath during wash cycle too. The lady asked me at one point what cycle was your washer in when it leaked. I said AGAIN my washer was not in a CYCLE and it did not LEAK. It turned itself on, filled with water and sent out about 70 gallons of water. We bought an LG Refrigerator LFX31925ST/05 about 1 1/2 years ago for about $2300 and it has been a nightmare. A few weeks after we bought it we started having problems with the ice maker/dispenser. The ice would thaw then freeze in the storage compartment in the door. So ice would not come out the dispenser. We continued to have the problem so had an LG recommended repairman come try to fix it. The first repair did not work. A few calls later and a different repairman and we find out there is a class action lawsuit for the ice maker and we eventually got it replaced. Now, at the age of 1-1/2 years we had the air circulating fan go out. Error code ER rf. Not covered under the 1-yr. warranty. It took the LG recommended repair man 10 days to replace the motor since it was on back order. We agreed to pay him once we were sure it was working. He left angrily. A half hour after he left, the error code was up again and the fan was not running! After we called and complained, the repair man figured it must be the circuit board. A week later, with a refrigerator that is warm on top and freezes on the bottom, we still have not yet had the board replaced. Maybe we can wait for another class action lawsuit. LG refuses to extend common courtesy and replace the parts without charge. We are looking at about $350 of labor and parts for a fridge that is 1 1/2 years old! On top of that, the stainless steel scratches very easily so be careful. Worst appliance Ive ever purchased!

We bought a LG washer (top loading.) and dryer set at Best Buy, 20 June 201
We bought a LG washer (top loading.) and dryer set at Best Buy, 20 June 2016. They looked like quality products, but we were very mistaken. The washer spends a lot of time load sensing, almost as much as washing. A lot of clicking going on, and the tub jiggles back and forth for a few minutes before the washing cycle starts. Even with Extra Water, selected, it is barely enough to get the clothes thoroughly wet in the wash cycle. The clothes in the very middle of the tub never hardly move during the agitation, so they do not really get washed good. Then during this last week the washer goes from wash cycle to spin cycle. It forgets the rinse cycle. Also, we can only get hot water, never warm. For some reason the warm setting is always cold. It also takes a long time just to wash a load of clothes. The dryer will not dry our clothes completely, but we work around that problem, and we shouldnt have to. We had a Kenmore washer and dryer set for thirteen years, and never had many problems. I worked as a product designer for many years, and our company had strict rules for testing and designing before any new product was introduced to the market. I can hardly believe that LG is putting these defective new products out to the marketplace. Anyway, we are disgusted, and learned a very expensive lesson.

Well, we are now scheduled for the 13th time for a certified LG tech to come look at my washer that doesnt work. This is the replacement machine for the first one that didnt work. After several calls to LGs 800 #, I was transferred to Robert in the executive call center (ha ha). At least he spoke English. He acted like he was concerned about the problem I was having and was going to help get it resolved. He talked to their techs, called the local service company, claimed to have had parts sent out and a service appointment scheduled. I was to receive a call when the parts arrived (2-3 days) to schedule a time that would be convenient for me (ha ha). Well, its been 4 days and no call, so I called the local service company and they had received nothing from LG. They had a call but nothing had been scheduled, no parts sent, and no authorization for service. Surprise, surprise, surprise!I called LG again, asked for Robert, and instead I got some silly girl that did not have a clue. I insisted that I wanted to speak to Robert and was finally transferred to him. I am not sure if it was the person I spoke with before but this time it was a new story. No parts were being ordered. They would have the tech come look at the machine and go from there. So it will be another week with a broken washing machine. It took 6 hours to do 2 loads of laundry. The machine continues to think it had an unbalanced load and fill to the top with water. Never really washes clothes, just fills, jiggles and few minutes, drains and starts over. Definitely energy efficient!

We are extremely dissatisfied with LGs customer service and lack of commitment to honoring its product warranty. We gave the experience a one star rating as it was the lowest option in order to continue this review, but we would assign a negative rating if that was an option. We bought an entire suite of LG kitchen appliances in 2013. The fridge stopped cooling at the beginning of May, 2019. Since that time, we have paid for service calls by two different repair companies and have made numerous phone calls to LG in an attempt to resolve this problem. LG has agreed that the parts are covered under warranty, but they no longer carry one of the parts (an evaporator). One of their representatives advised us that we could have them try and obtain the part from a third party or file an appeal for a defective unit. After determining that the part through the third party was on backorder and would take at least three weeks to obtain, with no guarantee as to an exact delivery date, we elected to file the appeal. At that point, we had been without a refrigerator for over a month, Several more weeks have gone by. Despite assurances from LG that we would be contacted, we had to call them multiple times for a status update and had to submit the appeal more than once. When we called a few days ago to once again to determine the status of our appeal, we were advised that it had been rejected the week prior (again, nobody from LG contacted us). They claim the appeal was rejected because the part is available through the third party (even though is is on backorder for at least another three weeks). We are fed up with this whole process! We never expected to have to replace a refrigerator that is just 6 1/2 years old - our prior refrigerators each lasted over 20 years. We were hoping that since LG no longer carries the parts necessary to honor their warranty, they would honor a defective unit appeal with at least some type of discounted price on a replacement refrigerator. In researching this issue on the internet, we have seen numerous complaints about LG refrigerators with faulty compressors and poor customer service from LG in attempting to get the problem resolved. Think twice before purchasing a product from LG... We will certainly never buy anything else manufactured by this company.

A stove in one of our cabins had to be replaced so I put my Whirlpool glass top in the cabin and purchased a new LG Range and Microwave for my house. 3 yrs + 1 month later my glass top broke; not covered by warranty of course. So after being shipped 2 damaged tops, a new one was installed for a mere $391.55. Had been cooking on Whirlpool glasstop for years so didnt realize you had to treat an LG with kid gloves. Less than 1 year later (now), and theres nothing in hell I could have done to cause this, the electronic start button wont work - just the start button - every other one works. We all now know only certain companies can work on LGs right. So serviceman came out, assessed the situation and it was exactly how I described it to them on the phone, had to order a new panel and will come back in 2 weeks to install. Panel arrived today in an extremely large box (box couldve held 24) - no padding, just a little paper and sliding around in the box. I have no idea if its still in working order or ruined by being slammed around. The exact model number of my range is listed under a recall notice. I sent them information and was told it was NOT one of those recalled even though the numbers matched. I will NEVER purchase another LG product. What bothers me is we have at least 10 LG TVs on the property so now I can wonder what will be happening to them. I truly believe LG started out with quality products; then when sales started to boom they decided to cheapen and thought the stupid consumers wouldnt catch on...JMO.

LG has exceeded my expectations and I would buy from them again. They have a great customer service department. I like that there is a built in ice machine and I like the color and that it matches the rest of my kitchen. I like that it is a smart refrigerator. But it is a little bit too large and I dont like the double doors or the fact that the freezer is on the bottom. I dont like that it is a smart fridge because IM worried about privacy of my data.

I have been waiting to have my washer properly fixed for 3 weeks. Customer service was not helpful and the technician while helpful when he was here was often gone and not available which left no one in my zip code to attend to the repair. I have never had a more difficult time getting something done than with this company.

LG washer temp-sensor has gone out 4 times in 5 years. I called LG to see if they would comp me for repairs after the first break down. They indicated no, that I did not buy the warranty so they could not help me. I called again after it happened a third time, still no. I bought the washer and dryer back in 2007. The washer has broken 4 times (all same issues) and the dryer once. I will never buy another LG product again.

I bought an LG washer model number WT5001C in April 2012. One year, the water pump is so close to the tub that the tub knocked the water pump out of place causing it to cut into the water outlet. This resulted in water being released all over the floor. In trying to get this repaired, I discovered that LG parts are not stocked here in Dallas but at one distributor. And the best case lead time is 7 days to get the new water pump.
