I am very disappointed with your washing machine model WT1101C. I have tried to contact any one from LG with no successes!! I will NEVER buy anything from you again that is for sure ... just junk after only ONE year of owning. Shame on you!! I have now bought a Maytag. You will never get my business again and I will spread the word believe me!! You suck!!!!!!

I was elated when I received the long overdue recall letter from LG! But much to my dismay, the recall repair has made a bad thing worse. I immediately called LG to schedule such repair and after the first visit, the machine has lost its track of time as well as the continuation of the UE error activity. Now a 35-minute speed wash can last all day if you do not babysit the machine and catch it before it starts ANOTHER rinse on the spin cycle. To top the matter off, the repair company sent by LG, Infinity Solutions, out of Irving Texas cannot keep a scheduled appointment! I have now missed 2 days of work by staying home to meet someone who does not show up. The excuses are unending. I will probably have to do the same thing as a previous dissatisfied customer proclaimed. Buy a cheaper washer and store this one until a lawyer can get some results. I cannot sell this 3-year-old machine to anyone in good conscience and I am sorry LG could.

We purchased the LG1443KDS at the end of 2011. The machine vibrated so badly it would travel the length of the utility floor and destroyed the large rubber drum seal. The repair technician advised the retailer to replace the machine, that was subsequently done. The replacement washing machine has displayed the same characteristics on a number of occasions other than destroying the drum seal. The noise from this appliance is on a par to pneumatic drill being used indoors, and could quite easily injure a small child or animal when the violent motions take place, lifting it clear of where it is situated. We also contacted LG directly regarding our concerns, but were merely brushed off. Absolutely no interest in their customers or appliance aftercare. This washing machine was extremely expensive, but is the worst appliance we have ever owned. This is the first ever LG appliance and is DEFINITELY our last. Purchase junk from this manufacturer at your peril.

We bought a new LG kitchen pkg when we built our home. We have had nothing but trouble with our stove and LG has not stepped up to make it safe. One burner has gone out numerous times pushing propane in our home. Weve spent hours on this issue and now the one burner doesnt work. Very disappointed in this stove and LG as a company.

I had washed a load of clothes and put a mattress protector in the washer and the cycle was almost done when the washer just blew up. I have had my washer for almost a year. I liked it until this. The washer did a total 360. It blew the top totally off it. Water went everywhere and then LG couldnt get out till the next day. This could have been a bad thing if my child or I would have been walking by the washer. It was so loud when it happened. This is a major issue and I will never buy another LG product. The washer was a WT5001C.

I replaced a whirlpool microwave with the LG. Had to have repairs after the warranty ran out. The whirlpool was 14 years old and never had a problem. Only thing good about LG service is that the quoted price was what I paid even though they replaced 3 major components. Oh, if you havent had stainless steel appliances, they show every little fingerprint and spatter. If I had known this I would have stayed with painted surfaces.

I bought a LG Over the oven Microwave about two years ago. It just suddenly died on me after gentle use. I went to heat up a small meal and realized the thing was totally dead. It did not show the time, the inside light was not on - nothing. I checked my house power outlet to make sure it was ok and it was. So, it was the microwave that was not working. I will never buy another LG product. And I will also tell everyone not to buy their products.

I would never buy this type of range again. The large burners are in the front, where one would place a large stock pot. It is very dangerous to have such a large pot positioned in front. You have to reach over it to get to the smaller pots. Its very dangerous. The reason I bought this range was because it matches the refrigerator. It looks good, but it is difficult to use. I can manage it, because it is just my husband and myself. If I had a young family, I would get rid of it (even though it is new). It could become a hazard with small children around. They could easily pull a large pot over on them. I am constantly vigilant when I am cooking on it and worried I will tip the front pots over on myself. Its not a pleasure to cook anymore!

These are the doors to our LG French door refrigerator. Before the refrigerator was 1 year old the black finish started peeling off the stainless steel exterior. According to LG this is purely a cosmetic issue and they refused to cover any of this with the warranty. I just wanted people to know black stainless steel appliances especially those from LG might be something you might not want to consider ever purchasing. We are very sorry we did. There are over 2,000 complaints already listed on the internet against LG refrigerators.

Over time, the heat from the dryer has warped the plastic lint trap so that it doesn’t fit. The lint trap sticks up just enough for clothes to get caught. Because the dryer doesn’t shut off when this happens, it rips the clothes. I bought a linen bag for items with straps but the lint trap grabs anything- sweaters, button down shirts, shorts. I have spent too much money replacing clothes. I bought this product from Home Depot. I made the mistake of reading a Home Depot review. Never again. I’ll be buying a new dryer.

They ended up giving me one of their filters from a demo on their floor after I insisted they do so. Im telling everybody NOT to buy LG cause of this problem. Model No. LFX31925ST/06 is the LG Refrigerator I have. This really sucks. If I had know this fact about LG not being able to replace filters for their refrigerator in a timely manner I would have never bought one. I have an LG gas dryer, model# DLG2102W, and it leaks gas dangerously in the middle of a cycle. The gas initial comes on and ignites as it should. I recorded and tested this. At first, on a cool machine, the gas valves opens without igniter, causing it let out a lot of gas. This happened after the first 10 minutes. I turned it off, while the machine was already warmed up, I ran a new dry cycle. The gas ignited as it should, but then when it turned off after it reached a certain temperature, the gas valve opened up after a few minutes without the igniter coming on to light the gas. Instead it just spewed a ton of gas out. This is very bad. I reached out to LG and no response yet. Ill be posting the video on youtube. Heres a guy that had the same problem. **

I bought a top loading washing machine (no agitator in November 2013). The first week I washed a pillow and it shredded it and any towels to pieces. I called Home Depot and they said I had to deal with LG. A repair person came out and determined that the plastic rim around tub needed to be replaced. I wanted LG to replace my washer and they said NO. They told me that I had to have repair people out 3 times for same issue before they would consider replacing it. The plastic rim got replaced and the washer continued to shred clothes. The next repair person came out and found sharp edges in bottom of tub that have been ripping clothes. He then contacts LG and they say that this not covered under warranty. The repair will cost $800 (which is more than I paid for the washer!). The repair guy told me to only wash clothes on Bulky bedding setting so that clothes will less likely shred because it uses the most water. The following month I had a loss in the family and gave up trying to deal with LG. So for the past 4 years I have been using this washer only on Bulky bedding setting and throwing out a piece of shredded clothing about every other wash. The washer never cleans well, my whites are always dull and makeup never washes out of washcloths. The top latch also broke and I have to hold the lid down for a while before it will start. For past two weeks I have been getting a an error message that my brother who works on washing machines could not fix. It will not drain/spin. My brother took the back of the washer off to see if he could help and there was tons of pillow stuffing and shredded clothing pieces from the very first week of having this machine! LG says all repairs are up to me and there is nothing they can do. I will NEVER buy anything LG again!

I purchased an LG front load washer and dryer from Leons in Bancroft Ontario 5 years and 8 months ago. Shortly after we bought it, we noticed that our laundry was coming out with a sewage smell on it. We used the tub clean cycle as often as possible but it didnt really help. We also started to leave the door open which helped somewhat but the odor never really went away. On one occasion, I found that the machine had dumped suds on the floor. Last week I washed a load of towels and during the cycle, smoke started coming out of the drum area. I called Leons in Bancroft who referred me to a local service man as the machine was out of warranty. The service man said he would look a the machine but if it needed parts he couldnt help me as LG would not supply him with parts or tech support.I emailed LG who replied that they only supply parts to authorized service agencies. The one for my area was 60 kilometers away. LG stated that they would do a 1 time courtesy repair. I asked if they would also address the sewage stink issue as well. I was advised to add powdered detergent to the washer and cycle it to remove residue. I was also advised to mix up a solution of bleach and water and wipe down the gasket and dry it after each use! I also asked about what would happen the next time the machine started to smoke. I imagine that I would have to call the service agent who is 60 kilometers away and pay time and mileage as well as the service time. As far as I am concerned, where theres smoke theres fire and I dont trust this faulty machine to be in my house. It is now in my back yard and I purchased a top loading machine (not LG). I will not be buying any of their products in the future.

Let’s see. So my French door fridge (model # LFC25770SB) is only 2 years old. Weve had it since May 2010. It was bought brand new from Home Depot for our new home. It has worked fine until 11/14/2012. I came home from work and the entire bottom cavity (freezer) was thawed out and everything completely ruined (my Thanksgiving meal, since we went shopping a few days prior)! The freezer isn’t keeping anything cold, so therefore neither is the fridge! The fridge was 47 degrees when I got home! I called LG on their emergency line the night it happened and was told that the food that I lost would be covered in part. Not the case! They refused to cover anything. I have to wait up to 3 weeks for a new part, which I have to pay out of pocket for, and the labor that is included in fixing this part! Needless to say, a 2-year-old fridge was obviously a piece of **! I lost over $500 in groceries, not to mention the insulin that I had in the fridge because I’m a diabetic! LG lost this customer! And I doubt they will care to do anything! All they say is they are sorry! Must not really be sorry, because I should have gotten a reimbursement for some of the product lost because of their ** appliance that broke after, seriously, only 2 years! Do something LG!

The LG washing machine, I have a top load... spent a great deal!!! It supposed to be energy-water efficient - FORGET THAT. There is not enough water to clean the clothes or agitator clothes comes out dirty and take the ENTIRE day because if while in cycle the machine the clothes are not always balanced WHICH MEANS YOU HAVE TO BABYSIT THE MACHINE and CONSTANTLY adjust clothes to balance and STILL it doesnt work. I bought LG washer/dryer from Best Buy and had the 5-year service protection plan. I have had leaking problem and had Best Buy out two times. Two weeks ago, the washer started leaking. I found plastic pieces in cleanout. I contacted LG, who referred me to A&E Factory Service (nationwide). I called and they returned my call on a Monday. I then made appointment for Thursday. They called that day sick, so I had to make another appointment a week later (earliest and now 10 days after speaking with them). I called LG, who referred me to a local company. They came out the following Monday (now over one week). They turned the washer on and said the lifetime warranty stainless steel drum is warped. I said it is hard to bend them, so was it an original problem? They said it caused damage to seal. After paying them for diagnostic trip, he said I have to pay for all labor and any other part, except wash drum. Okay, he approved using washer if I was okay with small leaking. Appointment was set for three days later. I used the washer and it turned into a gusher. He came back that evening and said that drum ripped front gasket. He will pay for that. Meantime, I called LG. They said that drum suddenly becoming warped is not likely, but it could happen. I said it has been this way since we had it. It has always been loud and it vibrated more than our old Maytag but we had to leave it at the old house on sale of house. They said they will cover drum, but nothing else. Tech came out on Thursday (this past) and opened up washer. (Finally, he actually opened to look at all of it.) The drum was so warped that it cut open (gouged) a hole in the outer plastic drum (front section). It had a circular gouge around the almost complete perimeter. He told me that part is no longer available because washer was over 7 years old. It was made in 2005 and I bought in 2006. He told me to buy a new washer. After he left, I called LG who said that part can be bought as an aftermarket part but they do not make the original part anymore. Swell. They gave me names of two parts suppliers. Part is $100 but has to be mailed at an oversize part ($50). I called service company to tell them it is available. They called and placed an order. On Friday, next day, part still was not shipped to them. I cancelled service (now estimated to be over $400) and bought a new Whirlpool set. LG refused to take ownership of problem that was caused by a lifetime part and they admitted that it was likely like that from beginning, but would not say 100%. Theyre out. They told me I should have noticed something not right, even though I had Best Buy out two times. I called Best Buy and they told me their service is a plan not a warranty. If there was a lifetime warranty issue, they would have had LG fix it, not them. Now my problem went on for two weeks with no conclusion, other than me cancelling service and throwing that piece of junk out. The company I called recommended the Whirlpool because it is US made. They said the biggest problem with LG is that it is all Korean or Chinese made and parts are difficult to come by. No kidding. Manufacturer is only obligated for 7 years per them and LG. If you want your machine to last more than 7 years and you paid big bucks for it, look for something other than LG. They will not back up their products in any way feasible. I understand warranties but when a lifetime-warrantied product is the culprit of a major problem, dont blame the customer for not knowing it was an issue, even though a service tech they recommend doesnt catch it either.

LG smartdrum inverter washing machine - The machine just does not rinse out the dirt from the clothes. It leaves lines of loose dirt all through the clothes where it has spun out the water and not adequately rinsed them. I have never ever been this disappointed with a product. I will not recommend this machine to anyone and if I could afford to replace it I would. It takes at least 2 full wash cycles to remove some of the loose dirt, the second with no detergent.

I have the smell issues with my LG front-loading washer and Im sure, after seeing the pictures from another case, I will be dismantling my machine this weekend (with pictures inside and out including the moldy drawer that is supposed to clean my clothing) to get rid of black mold that is most definitely making my family and me sick. I will be using extreme care to sanitize the unit and my home from this negligent company that cares nothing for its grievous mistakes that so many have had to endure. Shame on you, LG for being so big and creating a problem you clearly knew about and do nothing for the customers who made you who you are! I hope that some lawyer who owns one will see this forum and take you on. Ill be glad to display my findings with 1080p HQ video and 18 gig pictures with a bag full of what I find growing in my $2,000 fungus-growing washer that you built. P.S. I bought an LG washer at Best Buy in 07. After less than 2 years, the gears went in the front load. I purchased an extended warranty through Best Buy and they had a service tech come out and diagnose it. They said it would be too much to fix so they replaced it. I was downgraded but I was just happy to have my washer back. That was September 09. I bought another extended warranty through Best Buy. Now, another 2 years later, it has stopped spinning and wont drain. I contacted Best Buy and they told me that my warranty expired in September 2011. They told me to contact the manufacturer. So I called LG and they said that they will not do anything. I then emailed LG to tell them that I was unhappy and I believe if you pay over a thousand dollars for a washer it should last for more than two years. They then emailed me back and told me again that there was nothing they could do about it and thanks for choosing LG and be blessed. That made me furious . The state of Maine has a 4-year implied warranty through the manufacturer. Dont buy anything LG . They dont stand behind their product.

I have had a horrible experience with LG and will never buy another LG product. About 8 months ago I bought as beautiful electric range with the purple/blue oven that self cleans at a low temperature. The stove is still working great but I noticed that the enamel in the oven is just flaking off and where the racks are the enamel failed and popped off.I called LG since the oven is still under warranty and was told that this defect is cosmetic and that I would have to pay for parts and labor to have it repaired. Enamel serves a function in an oven, it protects the metal from oxidizing and protects the oven from heat and food that would be absorbed without enamel. I explained to the agent that this is a functional defect and not cosmetic and got nowhere with LG. They just dont care about their customers at all. I am a manager for a call center and could not believe the response I received on this issue and the attitude of the agent. I was fuming after this experience and wrote an e-mail to corporate explaining what happened and explained that if I do not receive a reply within a reasonable amount of time I will escalate or take action in another manner.I never did get a response so I spoke with the manager of Home Depot and showed them pictures and explained the bad experience that I had. This the manager picked up the phone and called LG and Explained the issue and added that the popping porcelain is also a health issue and being a convection oven is getting blown around. She got the same crap from them that I did. Other employees came over to see what was going on as this manager was fuming and stating that they have never ever seen a situation like this before. The manager then said that we will take care of you and get you a new stove and again stated that this was ridiculous. The manager was still angry over the situation and told me that she is making some calls to pull other managers together Monday for a conference call to LG Dealer support and said that she is going the climb the corporate ladder on this one.I see a ton of lawsuits against LG and a huge number of complaints, it seems that they do not care or respond to their customers and end up in a lawsuit. I was contemplating on a lawsuit but came up with a better idea. I am going to work closely with Home Depot management and get data on whatever they need and work to have Depot drop all LG product lines. I think I have Home Depots attention on this and just have to follow the process. I have always had positive experiences with Home Depot and I dont want to see any more of their customers go through this experience and lack of accountability on LGs part. If everything is successful and LG products are pulled from Home Depot this will be a huge revenue loss for LG which is well deserved. This will hold them accountable for their actions and is far easier than a lawsuit and there is a ton of data on poor customer service and product support.

We got back onto HD and the local store Expediter helped us. He called LG and got back to us and... they dont HAVE any other knobs... only plastic made to look like stainless steel. Weve since discovered that there have been other people having the same problem who also complained and who also got the same results (or no reply at all). Now it appears our options are to continue getting replacement knobs until the warranty is gone and then paying for them, or stop using the upper oven. LG doesnt care, we bought it, were stuck with it. Poor design, insufficient testing. Well think long and hard before ever buying LG again.

I purchased a WT5070CW a year ago. This has to be the worst washing machine I have EVER owned. Every load gets off balance. When it gets unbalanced the machine stops. When you adjust the clothes and restart it will get off balance again. It has taken me a full day to wash one load of clothes. Today it took three hours to do one load. If you have a small load (a couple of towels) it takes six or seven tries to get the load done. I dont think it is possible to keep this machine balanced. I paid a lot more for this machine than I planned on spending and am VERY disappointed. I have found several other complaints about the same machine and the same problem. I think this model should be recalled.

I bought a LG refrigerator 5 years ago, which stop cooling due to leak in sealed system. Warranty 7 years. They refused to repair or replace and offered 40% of initial amount paid and it took them 4 weeks to resolve this. So be prepared to spend a few thousand dollars again within 5 years. Never an LG again! Technician who came to have a look at it suggested to buy KitchenAid or Whirlpool. The delivery man said he was not surprised to have to bring back the LG. It happens often?

I purchase my old LG Microwave Oven Model MVI680ST at Home Depot 2 years ago. The door handle broke. The frame is falling apart in pieces. Have pictures and I immediately contacted LG Customer Support. A representative named Mike was very nice but hes just following orders from chief of command. He said I should contact a service place to have this fixed because its over a year old of purchase so no warranty. He gave me Ref# ** and case would be submitted to tech. Im completely unsatisfied after my experience and my neighbor too with her refrigerator she purchase within 9 months started giving her problems. Why would I buy another LG product? LG does not stand behind their warranty! DO NOT buy any LG product! They simply want your $ and they do not care about customer satisfaction!!! After this experience will go back to appliances GE, Whirlpool, Frigidaire.

I purchased an LG just under 3 years ago. At the end of May 2014, the freezer stopped working. On June 2nd, I had an LG certified company come out to repair it. As it turned out the heating element at the bottom of the freezer melted the plastic back panel on the inside. THEREIN is where all the torment has ensued!!!! They would have to ORDER the panel and as of Today August 11th, 2014 even after contacting LG directly, I still DO NOT have a panel or a fridge that works. IT CONTINUES TO BE ON BACK ORDER and LG did not know if they could help me unless I purchased the fridge from an AUTHORIZED DEALER, who cares where I purchased the fridge? I paid for it, it is THEIR product. If Im willing to pay to get the 65.00 part who cares where I purchased the fridge? LG has been of NO help whatsoever!!!!!! I cant believe it truly matters where an item is purchased. IT is their product and they should care about taking care of the customer... Maybe because I work in retail and I believe in taking care of the customer. I expect the same treatment when I myself am the paying customer... Dont you agree?????

I placed calls to LG to arrange for my 3 year old refrigerator to have a new compressor installed. I had a local company confirm this was the reason for the breakdown. The first call at the beginning of the year did not ever end up with a response or resolution (someone was supposed to contact me). I waited several months and contacted LG again. The support desk had me upload all of my warranty information to their site through a provided link. Again, I was assured that someone would contact me to arrange this repair within a short period of time. Again, this did not ever occur.Today, almost a year later, I have purchased a new appliance because keeping my food in a cooler for 10 months was not an option. I have posted the fridge for scrap on Kijiji and a local person responded within an hour to remove it from my home. Too bad that LG couldnt have responded as efficiently. A lot of wasted money in both purchase price and time trying to resolve/arrange the warranty. My questions are these. How is it that a manufacturer is not held accountable for failure to provide what they are legally responsible for? What recourse is there when this process fails? At what point does one give up because they have spent hours and hours trying to get the warranty service? Like many Canadians, I am a working individual and dont have endless hours to dedicate to continued follow-up. Appliances are expensive purchases yet there seems to be no process where the companies are made responsible for providing the warranty coverage they espouse. My hope is that this changes in the future.

I purchased an LG washer and dryer in 2018. Within 6 months the dryer has no heat so I called for a repair. The electrical panel (brains of the dryer) and the thermostat had to be replaced. I called the store to express my disappointment and the saleswoman said, You must have bought a lemon! Clearly doesn’t stand behind the brands they sell! Less than 2 years later my dryer again has no heat! The repairman came today and the exact same parts need to be replaced again! I feel I have a defective machine and LG says they will most likely just repair it. I feel they should replace it. An appliance that only worked for less than 6 months is not what I thought I was buying. I thought I was buying quality! I will never buy an LG again! Including manufacturing, this will now be the third time the same part has been in put in this machine. Clearly defective! I had Whirlpool for over 10 years and never once needed to call for service. Extremely disappointed in LG.

Updated on 06/08/2021: This is a follow up to a review I wrote a few days ago about my LG refrigerator. I gave it 1 star only because I couldn’t leave zero. I was amazed that a company representative reached out because of the negative review but my amazement didn’t last. They are still dragging their feet. I have a 3 1/2 year old refrigerator that stopped working on May 16. It is suppose to have a 5 year warranty. I got the run around from LG customer service for weeks so I left the negative review. Yesterday I received a text saying they would try to find an alternate resolution but I had to send in my receipt. I don’t have any issue providing the receipt but I already sent the same supervisor the receipt on a May 26. Now I have to start the process again. I need to send her the receipt and in 7-10 business days one of their representatives will reach out with a possible resolution but I MUST NOT do anything with the broken refrigerator until I hear from them. So it’s possible I won’t hear from them for another 2 weeks but I’m suppose to leave a broken refrigerator in my house until they say differently? I simply cannot believe that they think I’m not going to replace the broken refrigerator for 5 weeks! Please don’t put yourself through what I’m dealing with. Don’t buy LG.Original Review: Do not buy a refrigerator from LG! I purchased one 3 years ago for $2,500. It came with a 5 year (worthless) warranty. It stopped working suddenly 2 weeks ago. I have called LG customer service every single day and they have done nothing to correct the situation. They can’t find anyone local to fix the unit because they have a Class Action Lawsuit due to a faulty compressor and no repairmen will touch it because of the potential liability. So I sit on day 14 with ZERO help. They have not called me back one time. I have to call every day and repeat my entire story to a different employee. Buyer Beware!

I purchased an LG Washing machine with the pedestal back in April of 2010 for $1,309.95 from P.C. Richards. After 3-years and 4-months, my machine stopped spinning and had a loud squeaking noise. I paid about $400.00 in repairs at that time for a power cord and the computer control panel which completely burnt out. After the P.C. Richards Repair Man left, I washed exactly 2-loads of clothes before the washer stopped spinning and I had to call the Repair man back from P.C. Richards to find out what the problem was. Well after the 4th visit from P.C. Richards Repair Men, I was told that a Ball Barren was missing and it would be a very expensive job to do. With that being said, I went for a second opinion and was told that was indeed the problem which would cost me $500.00 to repair. You know when people purchase expensive appliances like washers and dryers from Manufacturers like LG, they expect the product to last at least 10 to 15 years. I am deeply disgusted and appalled. What can I do to seek punitive damages? I am a working mother of 3 and am at a hardship to make ends meet and cannot afford a new washer right now which I was told by the repairman I should purchase a new machine. In TEARS, can someone help me please?

I have an LG refrigerator, model # LFC2576OTT. I opened the doors to get a drink in the morning to notice that the unit was so hot. The plastic that connects the module to the inner roof (on the inside) had melted like string cheese. And lights were brown and burnt looking. It also smelled like melted plastic and electrical fire or burning wires. I just thank God that we hadnt left to go out of town yet, because the underside of the cabinet and the top of the fridge were too hot to touch. I fear it may have caught on fire. It was so hot on the top level of our fridge that the metal rings of some of our canned goods had resealed! We lost all our food and canned goods. We had already (one year prior) established a complaint about the product due to poor plastic construction of door handle hinges. After looking on-line, I saw that both of these are common problems with these refrigerators. LG should recall these refrigerators before someone gets hurt. Please someone do a class action suit, because it is apparent to me that LG is not going to take responsibility for their faulty products.

I have called LG many times with no resolution to the problem. This machine has big issues. We selected the LG LSXS26326S, side-by-side, stainless steel refrigerator for a number of reasons, including recommendations, interior room, water/ice dispenser, and cabinet size. The height specification for the CABINET is slightly more than 68, which would fit our space perfectly. However the genius, who designed this unit did not look at the height of cabinets in American kitchens. The CABINET fits our space, but the CORD comes out of the TOP of the unit, instead of the rear, adding another 1/4 inch to the dimension. An access panel also adds a small measurement to the height. I had to spend 2 hours to remove the kitchen cabinet, sand it down to allow for the cord and access panel to fit into the space. If you have limited height restrictions make sure you measure EXACTLY, to ensure that the ENTIRE unit will fit. Unless you are handy with removing kitchen cabinets, using a sander, and reinstalling the cabinet, you will need to hire a handyman or carpenter to make adjustments to your kitchen.

Very expensive fridge, 6 months old, not working. Under one-year manufacturers warranty. LG says they are not going to honor the warranty because it was an open box item. Several calls later, they say will fix it once they get the proof of purchase. I email proof via the portal they email me. I get a confirmation. Nothing happens. I call back. Kim says that I have refused to send proof of purchase. We argue at length. Finally, she acknowledges that she has it and says she will have to refer me to the extended warranty person. I explain that it is NOT an extended warranty; it is the original warranty. She next tells me there are no authorized LG repair services near me so she cannot schedule an appointment. But I should call a company over an hour drive- and a toll bridge- away. She finally gives me the number of a closer place. I ask for some sort of authorization for the warranty. She tells me to just call them. The phone number is no good. I find the real number, call them, and they say LG has to authorize the repair. I call LG back and ask to speak to someone in the US. After stalling me for 10 minutes, she gives me a number to call. It is out of service.

In May of 2009, I renovated my kitchen and bought two new appliances - an over the range microwave and a dishwasher, both LG products.Last week, on February 8, 2012, the microwave stopped heating. I called the company and after describing what happened was told that the magnetron went out. Since this is my second home, this microwave hasnt been used more than 100 times from the date of installation and I felt they should take responsibility for the repairs. I was told that the magnetron is covered but the labor is not. Then they told me to call a certain company to have it fixed. The service company said that they will order the part and when the part arrives, they will call me to have it installed. They refused to give me an estimate for the cost of labor. Eventually, after several calls, I was told it is around $220! At this point, I sent two emails to the LG company and as of today, February 15, 2012 got no reply. My other appliance, the LDF9810ST dishwasher, simply does not wash. I wash everything before putting it in and, again I wash and dry some dishes after the 3-hour cycle is done. Also, the plastic baskets are falling down or do not slide back. It is the worst dishwasher I have ever came across. When I told them about this problem I was told, Oops! You bought a floor model, and because of it ,we cant help you at all!At this point, I am angry, and I feel used and abused by a company that makes such bad products and cares so little for the customers. What a self-centered motto on their website, Life is Good! Whos life?I will never buy another LG product again and I will advise all my family, relatives and friends to not buy LG products either.

Like the other review, if you set your oven to bake at 350, and watch a professional thermometer inside the oven, you will see the oven climb to around 475 and stay there for a few minutes while the panel says the temp inside oven is only 345. If you then set the oven down to bake at 345 in hopes of still being able to cook something before your house burns down, the oven will inform you that it is actually only 340 degrees in the oven, and continue blazing away until it is satisfied. It will eventually beep to let you know it is ready. At that point, ensuring there is no flammable material within 10 ft, you will need to open the door and leave it open for about a minute to let it cool down. Once the oven has cooled down, you are now ready to cook, and the oven works flawlessly. I agree that the gas knobs are easily turned on when you brush against it, but thats just the way it is and I can live with it. Gas burners work flawlessly and I love cooking on it. Just wish I knew how to turn off the incinerator preheat setting.

As many others have stated, if I could provide zero stars I would!!! Do not buy even if other reviews are good. Its not if its when your product will default. Weve had our LG refrigerator for less than 3 years, and bought the extended warranty. Unfortunately, its been nothing but trouble. We are currently out of a refrigerator and LG still has yet to come up with a solution or a reliable repair company. The first issue was the fan in the freezer compartment which was fixed and covered under warranty. Now its the compressor, which for anyone thats not aware does have a 5-year manufacturer warranty that we would not have known until someone told us and it wasnt LG. The company that LG contracted out came to repair (the company actually had horrible reviews online) but guess what folks our refrigerator still is not working and we are at 4 weeks. I would like to add for anyone experiencing issues to file a complaint with the BBB which I just finished. Its too soon to determine if this will help mitigate the process but its worth pursuing. Spent approx. 8000.00 on new high-end kitchen appliances 5.5 years ago (all LG) the dishwasher was very quiet but didnt clean as well as our old Maytag but I understand they use less water and so on. We bought the 4 year extended warranty. 2 years in we noticed that stains on our utensils and found that our upper rack had rusted out. We called future shop and they sent us to the repair company. The repairman came out looked at it and ordered a new rack. 4 months he showed up with a rack and while putting it in he broke it. He said he would have to reorder. After 6 months and endless phone calls he told me due to poor service from LG he is no longer fixing LG products. I took my rusted out rack to future shop and told them to exchange it with one out of their units... They would not do it. 2 weeks later I had a new rep with a new rack. Only took almost 1 year for a new rack. 4 years in I noticed water on the floor under my fridge. Found the factory water line on the back of the fridge was split. Called for service. They said 2 weeks before they could look at it. I gave the repairman the part # of the piece I needed. He told me LG makes him go there to physically diagnose the issue... Are you kidding me... The hose is split. I went to the hardware store bought a piece of water line and installed it myself. 6 buck fix. Now my dishwasher pump has packed it in warranty ended 3 months ago. Estimated repair 500 dollars. A new Maytag dishwasher is 700 so going to add to the landfill 1 great looking LG piece of crap.

So, what I can do except desperation.I am not blaming Frances or Garilee for not doing what they said would do. It is all because of the attitude of LG to its customers. It reflects that LG cares much more on keeping their working procedures and dollars than taking responsibilities to care its customers. LG rather saves a few dollars than keeping customers away from suffering. Customers suffering from no use of refrigerators for one and half months means nothing to the company. LG does not want to keep the promises of its service representatives. As customers, do you still want to stick to buying its products? I switched. Though most of my appliances and TV are LG now, I wont buy any from LG. Very disappointed.

Bought higher-end LG Electric stove, in 2014 and in about 3 yrs the heating elements are going bad. As of 2 weeks ago, the front right element is useless. Now the 2 left elements are acting up. If I turn on the back left one, the front left one also turns on, creating a dangerous (unexpected) hot surface issue. In all the years and all the different places I lived in, weve only had lower cost non-LG models, that never failed. This time we paid more and in no time its going to hell. I will never consider LG for any category of products.

Bought a LG Top load washer less than 3 years ago for $720. Its constantly going out of balance several times every load you wash. Now the drive shaft broke and took out the wash plate as well. Despite the fact that the front of the washer has a 10 year warranty sticker plastered on the front of it LG refused to authorize the repair center to cover the parts under warranty, the cost of which is approx. $400-450. I called LG directly and they and talked to a technician first and she just kept telling me it was not her department and that she was only authorized to talk to the service repair company and not me.I had to beg to talk to a supervisor and had to wait forever to talk, for her to get on the line only to tell me that the 10 year warranty only covers the rotor and stator, not the drive shaft and basically told me I was SOL. Bottom line save yourself the heartache and money and dont ever buy a LG washer. They are JUNK and their customer service is non-existent!

Worst built products ever! I purchased an LG full kitchen package in 2007. I have had issues with the cheaply made parts since day one. The customer service is of no help! I strongly do not recommend LG products to anyone! Between the factory and extended warranty, I have not been able to get any resolution for the replacement of the broken, poorly made parts for my refrigerator and range. Worst made appliances ever!

Im so glad to have found this. Thought I was crazy. Our LG frontload washer smells terrible and weve had service calls out 3 times for what looks like pen marks all over our white clothes. Its not a pen. The first time they said it was a drum shooting oil onto our clothes; nice. They replaced the drum. The second time, service didnt show up. The third time they said it was because the washers accumulate black slime that is accumulating throughout the internal parts of the washer and will randomly shoot out the black ink appearing lines. Do not ever purchase an LG. They make a good TV, but not washers or kitchen appliances. They also do not have service centers anywhere in our area (maybe our country?).

Does not generate much faith in this company.

Bought the dishwasher 4 years ago. Rack system collapses when you load plates - had to jerry rig something to prevent from happening, the hose discharging the water leaked after 3 years of normal use (very thin, cheap hose I had to replace), had numerous occasions where it would not pump water out so had to manually remove the water and it would then worked again until now when it is not longer pumping. I think I am going to start buying disposable appliances - the kind that cost less you dont feel bad throwing away after a few years of use cause they did not cost a fortune...

I have a LG LSXS26326 side by side, not even 3 years old, purchased 3/2015 from Lowes for $1600, 3 weeks ago is not cooling on either side. I called LG direct many times, always getting the runaround. I was given 2 numbers of repair services in my area. I called these numbers 2 days in a row and left messages, with no response. Every service repair company I called in my area said they are not authorized to work on LG sealed system or compressor, since they are under warranty. HomeAdvisor sent a service repair out from SC, Im in NC, 30 minutes and $75 dollars later, I was told it would cost a minimum of $500.00 in labor to fix the problem and maybe parts, since LG customer service is so hard to deal with, like I didnt already know. Repair would need to replace compressor and sealed system and blowing out lines with very expensive gas. I was told parts are still under warranty by LG Direct, but could take 7-10 days to ship out, who knows how long it would take to get them??? Ive lost hundreds in food. My repairman basically told me to go bUy a new refrigerator, he said 85% of the refrigerators they work on are LG, and recommended Whirlpool, Kitchen Aid and/or Maytag as replacements. Very upset that they do not stand behind their products and their customer service has A LOT to desire. Do not buy LG unless you have money to throw away. Im a single mom and this has cut way into our budget. $1600.00 down the drain!!! We had hopes to go on vacation this year, but thanks to LG that wont be happening, having to buy another fridge in such a short period of time, has taken that out of the budget.

When the technician fixed it, he said LG knew about the problem and it was re-engineered. It broke again. LG would not stand behind their product for replacement. Why buy an LG when you need it fixed every year? Their customer service told me it would have to break in 90 days for replacement. So if I need an annual fix it is my problem, since it did not happen in 90 days.

In the event that you need to drain the machine, there is no drain function. It needs to be manually drained from a tiny hose at the bottom of machine. And for us, that meant into a hose, through the garage and down the driveway. Look for a drain feature on my next purchase!

Last January 2016 we had a new Stainless Steel L.G. Fridge installed. Well within less than 1 year the stainless steel doors on the fridge are already pitting. After contacting L.G. I was informed they dont cover the doors (considered cosmetic) and if I want the doors change I would have to pay the expense of the doors and shipping. This is what I call crappy warranty and customer service and now I would never ever recommend buying any products from L.G. simply because they werent willing to assist in resolving my problem. As a matter of fact their e-mail response back does not allow you to respond back to them so in order to respond back you have to go back through their e-mail website and start all again, a deliberate set in hopes to make customers go away.

At Thanksgiving our LG refrigerator and freezer stopped working. We bought it new a few years ago and loved its design and size. It was a lot of money for us but we splurged. We called the company we bought it from and they told us to call LG service direct. We could not get any response when calling LG so just decided to get a tech to look at it. Took him a week to get back to us because of the holidays. He told us the sealed freon system was broken and the compressor was toast and he could not do the repair. He charged us for the visit and left. He said it would cost a lot of money to fix - So we tried to contact another service company to fix it. The only one we could find to work on our fridge is a couple of hours away and we have to take the refrigerator to them. It is very heavy and taking it down a flight of stairs is pretty scary and we really dont want to transport it. We called LG again trying to get a service tech to come out to our home to fix it but cant get through to anyone. At this point we are probably going to buy another brand as we have been without a fridge for weeks. If LG wants our business please answer your phones!

We purchased our French Door Refrigerator in Nov. of 2011 from Home Depot for over $2500. We had not problem with the unit until May of 2014 when the it stopped working. Calls to LG resulted in a service call but we did have to wait for several days for service which of course means you have to find a place for all your food so you dont lose it. Ok - repair guy came out and replaced the fan assembly behind the freezer stating that it needed a stronger fan to keep it from freezing up. OK - unit was noisier than before but it did work. Until May of this year when the same thing happened again! Same repair guy - same fix. After he left it did start making a louder noise so we called him back. When he came back he said that is just the normal noise the new fan makes and rather rudely left! This week the unit quit working again!About six weeks later the last call - we unplugged it and plugged it back in but still had to move all the food again since it was thawing out. Had to wait 24 hours for the repair guy to come once again and apparently unplugging it caused it to reboot because it did start cooling again. ** the repair guy walked in, pointed his infrared thermometer and said Well - it is working, there is nothing wrong with it and refused to do anything else - accused of yelling at him - which we werent and stomped out of our house! Subsequent calls to customer service were not very helpful. They all give you the same responses like they are reading it off of cue cards - all denying culpability and trying to put it on us instead of admitting that their product is faulty! And this model has had a class action lawsuit against so we know there is a problem! My advice - do not buy an LG product. They are not the quality you pay for and if you have a problem, you will not get any help from them at all. Their consumer service department treats you without respect and without true concern for taking care of the problem.

Be aware that the LG front end load washing machines model WM0642HW only last 5-7 years compared with top load washers 10-15 years. My wife & I made a major error by purchasing our first front end load washer that broke after 5 years. Previously for the past 30 years we have had 2 Maytag top loaders (15 years each). Specifically, the horizontal pressure on the wash tank bearings results in the failure of the bearings and the rotor assembly. These are parts that total nearly $100.00. However, the service requires at least 3-4 hours of repair, which is nearly $500.00. In summary, never purchase a LG front end load washer.

Had my washer for just under four months. Extremely disappointed when it failed and leaked gallons of water on the floor. (Luckily, the washer is in my basement.) I contacted LG service at 10:00 a.m. on 1/6/15. The tech, Nate, showed up at 3:00 p.m. the same day. He ordered the part, water pump, which was delivered before 10:30 a.m. on 1/7/15. I called Nate to let him know that the part was in. He was at my house at 5:00 p.m., the same day as the part was delivered. I read all the reviews, including people waiting 6 weeks for a repair or replacement. I didnt hold much hope for having it fixed in a reasonable amount of time. My customer service and repair experience was, fortunately for me, great. Im not sure if I would recommend the washer as my old washer lasted 8 years with approximately 8 loads per week.

Our front load LG washer began giving us problems 8 months from purchase. I called LG twice and they recommended unplugging the unit to reset the computer. The machine would work after waiting 6-8 hrs. Eventually, that did not work and repair was needed. The repair men discover two tears in the rubber gasket that were caused by metal clips below that had 1) sharp edges and 2) placed too near the gasket. Over the year of use, the tears occurred and dripped onto the thermistor. It was a manufacturing/quality issue, even supported by the repair man and discussed with their technician at LG who agreed and took notes. LG refused to pay for the repair because it was outside the warranty period. They were disrespectful on the phone and emailing exchange kept sticking to company line of outside the warranty period. Good companies stick by their workmanship. I believe they can make good machines. Mine was a lemon and they couldnt care less.

Purchased a side-by-side refrigerator for $1499 from Home Depot in February 2013 and began using it in April, when our house was finished being built. On August 9, 2013, the refrigerator stopped cooling. We called LG and were told that we had to call back 24 hours later to confirm that the problem still existed. We called back after 24 hours to make a repair appointment, but the only places that would service LG in our area were backed up a week each, not because there were few repair places, but because very few places are willing to work on LG. When the repairman came out a week later, he verified that the compressor needed replacement but suggested contacting Home Depot to try get a new refrigerator through them before ordering the part, because once the part is ordered, there would be no chance of having HD help us. A very nice woman at Home Depot then spent the entire day on the phone with LG trying to get a replacement, to no avail. When I called LG back again to order the compressor for repair, I was told that I had to make another diagnostic appt, since the original repairman didnt order the part. I am told it will be 2 more weeks until the refrigerator is fixed. It has been 2 weeks since it has broken. Thats 4 weeks without a fridge. I have called 9 times to LG, 7 times to repair places, spoke to 2 managers at LG executive services (one manager, operator Sherry ID# ** told me that the failure of the compressor is not LGs fault!). In all, this is the worst appliance I have owned and the customer service team is useless. Save yourself the trouble and stress, do not buy an LG appliance.

We purchased an LG front-load washer online. It was delivered on 12/3/13. It quit working after 2 loads, showing a dE error message (supposedly a door/latch problem of some sort). The appliance serviceman sent to our house by LG made 4 unsuccessful attempts to fix it, over a span of about 4 weeks. He tried replacing both the latch (twice) and the door (twice). After this, LG wanted the service company to order still more parts for more repair attempts, but the service company finally called and told us to call LG and tell them you want a new machine. We did, last week. After several days I called LG again. Nothing had happened, since they required an official receipt (proof of purchase), which wasnt mentioned in the previous call. The LG rep then said to allow 4-5 days for a resolution. Today I called back and was told it takes 7 days for the claim investigation to be completed. So its been 5 1/2 weeks since weve had a working washer, and only God knows when well have one again. Instead, were treated to multiple trips to distant laundromats and picturesque, sky-high piles of unwashed clothes. And many fun hours on the phone, sending emails, and awaiting the repairman, who by now seems like a member of the family.

Well our big LG made it past its 5th birthday without a single repair, but sadly the compressor died exactly 120 days after that milestone. We bought our LFX31925ST in July 2012 from Home Depot. Looks can be deceiving... the interior had very good fit and finish and oh the size. From the first week, we would hear a loud bang every few days. I figured it was some kind of expansion valve. Ice cubes would often clump together, so it became a routine to open the ice maker door and un-clump the ice with a spoon. But for 5 years it was pretty much trouble-free. I had a commercial-grade surge protector on it from day 1. Both the freezer and refrigerator compartment stopped cooling right after Thanksgiving this year (thank God it was AFTER Thanksgiving). And just good luck my mom moved the week before and gave me her old upright freezer, thus we didnt lose much food. I removed the back panel on the LG and verified both fan and compressor were running. As it was out of 1 year labor warranty, LG would not pay for the service call to determine if the 7-year sealed system or 10-year warrantied compressor was the culprit. Spent $98 and waited a few days on a service call. Tech gets on the phone with LG and diagnosed it needs a new compressor. Compressor is under 10-year warranty, 1 month back order, but $1295 for labor is my responsibility. Geez, I should have went to refrigeration school. Tech said hes replaced so many of these LG compressors and recommended I get a new Whirlpool. He said even the replacements would fail. I like our LG fridge for its size and interior fit and finish, but to spend $1300 on a repair that will probably not last? My family members still have GE and Jenn Air fridges that are over 20 years old and not a single service call. Really disappointed. All this linear compressor and Inverter power supply technology seems to have compromised reliability. Anyone still make good old reliable refrigerators?

I bought an LG washer and dryer from Best Buy with extended warranties. The washing machine still works perfectly. The dryer however, is a piece of crap; after not even two years the steam function ceased to work. I contacted the extended warranty company which sent out an appliance repair service based locally in Avon Connecticut. Upon looking at the dryer the repairman told me it wouldnt be worth the money to fix it and just to use it without the steam function. It would be too costly to them to repair. I cant tell you how disappointed we are after having a whole household of LG products 10 in total cleaning the kitchen and laundry room. I dont blame any of this on Best Buy, however I do blame it on LG for not having a network to effectively repair what they sell. After repeated attempts to contact LG for almost 6 months we finally gave up. Do not recommend LG washer and dryer.

LG WM3360HWCA - After about 2 years the washer sounds like a Concorde taking off on spin cycle. You cannot be in the same room as the noise is so bad. Called LG and of course theres no one here on the island (live in Hawaii) to come and service it. They gave me the contact number for a company that does repairs. Unfortunately after a week of calling them and no return calls I ended up having Sears come out. He spun the drum in the machine all for $105 and then stated that the repairs would be $1100 as the bearings had gone out. I paid $700 for this washer. How can the repairs cost more? The Sears service rep said that I was over using the machine. I explained that I only fill up to the minimum line on the guide inside. He stated that in Hawaii the water is soft and that we are supposed to use half the recommendation that is on the bottle. I have never heard this before. So now out-of-pocket and have to go and buy a brand-new washer. LG the good life my ass.

I purchased a fridge from Best Buy in 2013. It was an open item but was only a display item never leaving the store. We had the understanding that LG would honor open ticket items as though they were brand new. If we had known that LG (according to them) do not honor open item warranties I would not have bought the open item to save $100. I would have gone with a unopened product. But that isnt the full issue. So we bought a fridge it 2013 had some minor issues with the fridge but were able to fix the problems with a little help from videos as they were not major issues nothing repairing just thawing or cleaning something up. Well about 3-4 weeks ago we noticed our food was no longer staying cold and everything in our freezer was thawed and had to be thrown out and fridge was also not keeping things cold and lost most of our fridge stuff as well. We contacted LG to see if they could have someone come out and fix the issue as it was still under warranty. Well they called back to say they could get someone out to us in two weeks. We have young children in the home so going without a fridge for 2 weeks was not acceptable. We spoke to best buy and they recommended a repair place that is LG certified to come out and look at it. We contacted them and they asked the model and serial number once he got that information he knew exactly what the problem was and how to fix it. He has been fixing about 2-5 of these a week for the past year as it was a known defect during assembly of the product. When he first started seeing these issues appear he spoke to a tech at LG and the tech from LG let it slip mistakenly that during assembly of a part the worker bypassed procedures and did not install or use a spark shield. Without that part during assembly the part would fail within 4-5 years. And it looks based on the fact that he has fixed 2-5 a week that it is actually happening a lot. We had the repairman order the parts to get it fixed and we then find out that we would be charged a flat rate of $399 + tax or $425 to repair this. Parts would be all covered but labor wasnt so labor would be $425. I really find it hard to believe that I should be responsible for the labor on a product that was sold to me with a defective product. But we needed a fridge so we got the parts and had the repairman to come. Now the repairman spent 3 hrs only to find out the part that was sent was defective as well and did not work. So now my family has been without a fridge for 3-4 weeks. We called to complain to LG that first off we dont think we should be responsible for the labor costs if it was due to a defective product they knowingly put into the fridge. After some lengthy conversations with LG they have now since claimed that they will not pay anything due to this product being an open item product. They are still not standing up and admitting they put a defective part into a product and sold it. We know there is a list of serial numbers with this issue. If I had bought a car with a defective part a recall would be issued to repair this. But LG is trying to keep this on the down low and not pay up. It doesnt stop there. They have told our repairman that we said he was unprofessional and that he did not do a good job so now they are making false claims against our repairman that we never said. Plus during my first conversation with them they mentioned that you would be completely covered and you will have no cost out of your pocket for the repair only to go back on that statement and only offer my repair man a voucher for $115 of the $425 service. While I waited on the phone for the confirmation that this was all worked out I repeatedly asked will I be completely covered and nothing will come out of my pocket to which I was told over and over again that it will be covered. Only to find out the lied again to me and that they were only offering the lower rate. Now after we complained more now they are completely dropping all help and deeming this was due to the open item purchase and they dont cover the warranty on open items. I spoke to Best Buy and they restated that is not the case. Open items they sell are covered under warranty without question. Please what can you do to help. This has been very frustrating that I am without a fridge and now I am having to pay another $400 after buying a fridge less than 5 years ago for 1800. This is not the service I expected from a billion dollar company.

My LG refrigerator broke down over a week ago after just 18 months. I paid over $3,500 for it. I have been trying to have my case reviewed by LG for over a week now but they keep rejecting my proof of purchase even though on top of the original receipt and invoice, the Home Depot store where I purchased it from, issued an official proof of purchase letter. I spent over $7,200 on all LG appliances and I am not happy with any of them. The display on the stove broke down in the first week I had it. The washer keeps stalling when I run certain programs. The dryer routinely stops with an error message that the duct is blocked (which is bogus, we checked it on many occasions and there is no obstruction) and the dishwasher does not completely dry the dishes even in extra dry mode. I have never before written a negative review but this company does not deserve to be in business. They do not stand by their product and use the annoying and false slogan Life is Good. Good for them maybe. Not for the customer. Their customer service is a nightmare. All calls are answered by representatives who serve as a layer of protection so you cannot actually get through to anyone who is a decision maker. If you are considering a purchase of an appliance, please stay away from the LG brand!!! Worst ever. I owned a Samsung fridge before and it worked like a dream and was nicely designed. I kick myself in the rear end for not sticking with my gut when I made the decision to purchase the LG junk brand.

We have had our LG French door refrigerator for 5 years. We paid $2,000 plus for it. It is now useless. We cannot get anyone to work on it. All the appliance repair places say they will not work on them. The companies LG recommended cant buy parts because their account is on hold. Got a repair estimate today for $1,200 and he said we had to buy the parts ourselves. LG will not sell us parts. We still had to pay for the service call. We have lost most of the food in our refrigerator over the last 2 days. Please do not buy LG.

Im going to make this quick and simple a easy read. I have had an amazing experience with LG televisions for years. The washing machines however are a whole different animal! My thought process was spend a good amount of cash get a good name brand, and it would last me at least 10+ years. Not the case!! We purchased our front load LG washer in 2012. It worked fine up until about 6 months ago. It would stop about 10 times through a wash cycle. It would take about 3 hours per load! Ridiculous!!! Of course we tried contacting LG to no avail! Got the run around from several scripted employees. I will never purchase a LG washer of any kind and suggest anyone else do the same!! Unless you enjoy spending your hard earned money on a worthless product that would only last 4 years if you are lucky!

Our LG refrigerator wasnt 3 years old and the compressor went. It was covered under a 10 year warranty through LG. 2 days after it broke a LG repairman came out and said it would be a 6 week wait for a compressor. That was unacceptable. Tried calling LG customer service a few times. And kept getting the runaround. We bought it at Best Buy. LG was telling us that Best Buy was responsible even though its on paper that the compressor is LGs responsibility. They did not want to give me what I paid for and deserved. Either a repair in a timely manner or a replacement. After 3 weeks and help from Best Buy I finally got approved for a new refrigerator. And needless to say I did not get a LG this time around. I wouldnt buy an alarm LG alarm clock.

Customer service is horrible. Their English needs much to be desired. My unit was slow to make ice and was not dumping so they had me put my phone to the sensor. She told me I needed to change it from crushed to cubed? Say... What? Anyway found it is a early sign of compressor failure. Their first question was Why didnt you get the extended warranty. I guess they have no faith in their product, normally I have no use for those warranties. It seems like, in my case, products are programmed to self-destruct after the warranty expires. I heard some stories but when I purchased it I was told this has a different compressor it and it is not prone to failure. Home Depot lied! The fridge was 18 months old and within 2 weeks of the new compressor I lost refrigerant and I had to call service, they came out right away and repaired it.Now a week later everything was soft in the freezer again, but they cannot come out until Tuesday. It is 40 degrees in my garage, not cold enough to use as a refrigerator. I lost about 300 dollars in food since Thanksgiving. My old fridge lasted 16 years before it died, and I think it was my fault because I put it in the garage, found out later that not every fridge can be put in a cold area. So what happened to quality control in the day and age? If I was on the board of LG I could not look myself in the mirror putting out a product with this kind of problems.

LG should be thoroughly ashamed that they have released this piece of junk
LG should be thoroughly ashamed that they have released this piece of junk in the public domain. The washer does not use enough water to wash properly and leaves clothes stinking and gross. The thing vibrates like crazy on spin cycles, it sounds like it is going to rip itself apart half the time. Yes, you can use less detergent and leave the door open, and clean the thing with bleach every week, but your clothes still end up stinking. As punishment, I think the designers of (and those who tested) this travesty of engineering should be forced to use it for a year so they can see what everyone is talking about. I will never buy another LG product because of this or recommend them to anyone. The company deserves to go under for such a horrible transgression.

We absolutely love our LG refrigerator. It looks nice, performs well, and the ice maker (through the door) still works perfectly after 2 years. We have tried many different brands and this is the only brand I would recommend.

Black fridge with ice machine and so spacious. I love it so very much. Like the brand is everything and so much more. LG is a life changer for many people. Best appliance company everywhere. Who knew you could love a brand so much. It never fails or disappoints. Little space would be a deal breaker for me. But all in all I love their products. Overall expectations were met.

I have bought a washing machine. They deliver a damage piece. They play a big game with me for not giving a replacement. They have cheated me by passing the time. First they said to show damage part in photo they give replacement. Again they said, We can’t give replacement of product. We give replace the damage part, and after some time they again saying, We will not give replace. Very poor customer care.
