Bought 2 LG LRBP1031T cabinet-depth fridges brand new from AJ Madison for a high-end vacation rental property. After just four months, one of them failed and stopped blowing cool air into the fridge section. As a result, all food spoiled, and my five-star property was given a bad rating based on the horrible quality of LG fridges breaking down. It took more than a week for a rep to come view the problem, and now they are saying parts are back-ordered and will take another week or so to get the parts in. DO NOT BUY LG FRIDGES!

I purchased the LG WM0642H from Home Depot on Feb. 12, 2007. We were told it was the best and most efficient energy and water saving machine. It has left the towels dirty and musty/moldy odor. The towels can only be used one time and they have to be washed again. I use all the right HE products. I quit using liquid Downy, thinking that was the cause of the build up.I use the washer cleaner that Tide makes and it does no good. All these products just cost more to operate the machine. We have the vibration in the adjoining rooms that shake the walls, during the spin cycle. We paid for an extended warranty that ended 2010, but when I had them out during that time, they couldnt find any problems. They just reprimanded me to use the HE products; although that is all I use.Truly, when is this product going to be taken off the market and the truth be told? I will certainly use the word of mouth to all that will listen. This is a blight on America to sell something this inferior. The next machine I buy will be the tried and true top loading with plenty of water and it will surely clean the clothes.

We had purchased both the washer and dryer at the same time from Lowes while building our home. I documented all of the steps we had taken and responses from LG on our repair. Went back to Lowes (where purchased from) and asked to talk to the manager. After showing him the paperwork and relating my experience he allowed me to exchange the both machines. The appliance manager worked with me and I picked out a Whirlpool Duet W&D. They scheduled a date to pick up the LG units and deliver the new Whirlpool units. I couldnt be happier with the Whirlpools, and received the difference in the cost back. I did initially call Lowes headquarters to ask if they would exchange my machines and was told that it was up to the manager at the store I purchased them from. I was very calm and respectful and had all of the paperwork to show the manager. They were really great. I will never by LG again.

Purchased new Instaview French door refrigerator with CustomChill drawer, model LMXS30796D, on December 6, 2019. It was delivered the next day. As I was told by my salesperson that upon delivery I should inspect the refrigerator throughly before the delivery people bring it inside, I made sure two of us monitored the delivery the entire time. We were there from before they unboxed it from right off the to when they left and they did a beautiful job. So when I discovered a six inch scratch along the tom edge of the CustomChill Drawer later that night I was disappointed, but knew it was not as a result of the delivery. They very next day I contacted LG and they opened two case numbers (one was due to the CustomChill drawer sticking when you try to fully open it) and told me I wold be contacted within five business days. They said that in the meantime I could email the purchase receipt, delivery receipt and a photo. As I never received any communication from LG, on the fourth and fifth days I reached out to them again. The fifth day has come and gone and still nothing from LG on either issue. While I love the refrigerator, I am very disappointed in LG customer service. At this point in time I would be very apprehensive about purchasing LG again.

Suddenly my less-than-3 month old, top of the line LG 4.5 Steam Washer star
Suddenly my less-than-3 month old, top of the line LG 4.5 Steam Washer started spewing water all over the floor. Called, got questioned about using too much soap (I dont). Got repair referral, they came, and a rubber hose inside had burst. OK, order a new one to be overnighted but hey, guess what? Its on back-order and not due in for weeks. Called LG and got the run-around and an offer of $ for the laundromat. She basically admitted its a bad part, and is back-ordered because everyone needs it. So, Id say dont buy one because not only do they break, the company doesnt stand behind its product.

We purchased a side-by-side model. When they delivered the refrigerator, it would not square up; it looked crooked. They said it worked fine and could not take it back. When we noticed it was bulging from the sides and was wider in the middle, that sort of looked like a problem. The drawers would not stay in the grooves. When we called, they said they would get back with us, which they never did. The refrigerator was bought in 2008. Then the water valve for the ice maker went bad. I called to buy a replacement part, but they no longer make that part. So Im out of luck with a $2100 refrigerator that has no ice maker. I cant even sell it for a second refrigerator for the garage sale as a result.I would tell everyone to beware of this company as they are not reliable. I will never purchase another LG product. I hear Electrolux has the best warranty and service department.

I tried to EasyClean feature three times and it did not work. Then I called LG multiple times. They finally sent out their technician who agreed that it is not working. He recommended I called priority services and they said we can’t do anything about it because the oven is still functioning correctly. I contacted the Better Business Bureau of New Jersey and had many email conversations with them and LG headquarters and the final decision was I’m supposed to use three or four different types of chemicals to clean the oven because their feature does not work. We are in our 70s and scraping back of oven is not an option, only bought this oven because of the EasyClean feature.

$850 and started having issues within 1 week this front load dryer (LG DLGX4371W). It has an option for bulk and advertises all these bells and whistle options but my old Whirlpool 13 year old dryer worked better I must say. Keep in mind I had professional install for the unit and vent and the problem is the unit, well maybe only mine? The dryer accumulates lint at the bottom of the lint bay eventually not allowing it be caught on the screen it comes with. This lint clogging at the bottom is a hazard and can cause fire. Even though the machine has sensors which may stop the unit before a fire thank God, but its brand new...why should I be dealing with this as it seems to me to be a DEFECT. Now I have to check the bottom of the lint bay and use a special connection to my vacuum to ensure its not clogging up and shutting off during every dry cycle which costs me time and headaches as a father with a family. I purchased the new technology to try and get help and make my life easier but I ended up with a headache now. Wish I went with Electrolux as the reviews lead me to but the PC Richards man was so adamant and strong with opinion on LG being the best...this is not the case for me. Over and out and good luck to all with this unit.

I purchased my LG French Door freezer model number LFX25976 through Direct Buy during 2011. The bottom freezer abruptly stopped freezing and the refrigerator stopped cooling. However, the fan works. Was initially believing refrigerator had gone into automatic defrost but after two days of none cooling or freezing, my belief now is that the compressor may be the culprit. One year ago, same incident occurred but after several hours, my refrigerator began cooling and freezing again. Contacted LG during that time and was advised that it was common for the refrigerator to automatically defrost and does so without any warning. But this time it has been two days and my refrigerator has yet to begin functioning properly.

Updated on 07/29/2020: LG response with a classic, there are not the way they treat a customer. The same for everyone because I read other reviews (too late for me, I already bought the oven). The reviews were mixed, but not good enough. Original Review: I bought it on March 2018, and is not working. No heat. I call customer service saying I think is the magnetron. It has a 10 year warranty. They say I need to call an LG technician. I didn’t buy the extended warranty because it was too expensive. So, I need to pay the labor. So it not worth it. I will not buying an LG microwave again.

For the cost of these refrigerators, I am very disappointed. I will not purchase another LG appliance again. Our repairman said he condemned 5 LG refrigerators within a week, all were about 3-4 years old.

I too made the mistake of buying LG appliances. My dishwasher motor has seized. Never felt the dishwasher worked correctly. 1/2 time soaking wet and 1/2 time dry. The utensil basket pieces broken out on the bottom. The machine is very loud. Takes a ridiculous long cycle of two hours to wash dishes. My wash machine is also now acting up and I am getting frequent error signs. If you want appliances to last longer than 4 years look elsewhere. Foreign call center with little to no customer service.

The machine was part of a stacked set purchased from Sears in Toronto with extended warranty in late 2012. It was very reliable until 2019 when it was 6 years and 6 months old. It then developed a leak and need a new gasket which was provided by LG under their One Price service (about $280, I recall). Last month it developed a further leak. My wife read the manual and looked for possible causes. She cleaned out the soap dispenser - this resulted in a flood when we turned the machine on.We called LG - we were no longer eligible for their full price service. They despatched a local company, European Appliance Repair. They charged $300 Canadian plus tax (extra because they needed two men for a stacked unit). My wife told them the full story - an initial leak, and then a flood. They replaced a small part. The next day there was a small leak - we were unsure if there was residue from the flood, but immediately contacted LG. We said we would wait a few days to see if the leak persisted. It became evident that it would occur on the spin cycle whenever there was a full load. We rang up and made an appointment for June 22nd. The appointment was then postponed to the 23rd in a message received on June 16.On June 19 at close of business we got a message saying our appointment was cancelled or postponed. It was impossible to get clarification till the new week began. On June 21 at 9.00 we rang and were informed that someone would come that day, and that the cancellation message was an error. However, nobody could come that day, because European Appliance Repair did not recall they had to send two people out. An appointment was made for 3 to 5 on the 23rd, but the same two repairmen appeared at 8 p.m. They announced after 35 minutes that we would need a gasket. We would have to pay for the part and additional labour. They denied that we had told them that we had a leak before my wife cleaned the soap dispenser. We have no idea whether they did not hear what my wife had said or were telling an untruth. It was clear to us that they were in a hurry on both occasions, probably overworked because of the pandemic. We noted that a gasket had been replaced the previous year. Gaskets, we were told, could never be guaranteed because customers often put sharp objects in machines. We spoke to an LG rep. on the phone. He insisted that no further charge would be levied, and that, if we did not get satisfaction, LG would give us an allowance toward a new machine. Two days later we spoke to a woman at European Appliance Repair. They proposed to treat the repair as a separate problem and charge 250 labor plus tax plus the cost of the part (plus, of course, $620 Canadian we had paid for April, 2019 and May, 2020 leaks). They had clearly heard nothing from LG.After this we spoke with three LG reps. (we had difficulty communicating with the first two). The third person with whom we spoke said that a gasket would not normally tear because a few coins had gone through the machine (we do not keep sharp objects in our pockets). Furthermore, he agreed to escalate the issue and get back to us the next day. He warned that the replacement model that succeeded ours might not be stackable with the old dryer, should we decide on replacement by LG. We do not have room to house the units in another way.Naturally enough, nobody from LG did get back to us in 24 hours about our “escalated issue. Today we decided to buy a stackable set made by another manufacturer. We are surrendering a perfectly good dryer - but there appears to be no alternative. On the basis of this experience I would not advise anybody to buy an LG washer or dryer, unless you expect to replace your machine every six years, and to be particularly careful when selecting stackable units.

We bought a $3,000 LG refrigerator in 2013. Countless minor problems are needless to say here. Just last week, the water cooler and ice maker stopped working. When I called LG, the representative I spoke with did not tell me about the common problems and advise me to wait a couple of days for the frost to clear due to the temporary ice maker fan problem. She entered me into a service contract that cost me $258.07 because its out of warranty, and said if I cancelled the contract it would cost me $100.00. Desperate to have the unit fixed, I agreed.Twelve hours later, the unit was back on. I called LG and said I discovered that LG had a lawsuit on the same problem, I needed a full refund. The rep. said someone from the extended warranty dept. will call me back soon. I waited 24 hours later. No one called. I called them back and requested the appointment and contract be cancelled and followed up with a cancellation e-mail. Today, the technician called me to confirmed he was on his way to look at the unit. I have never encountered anything like this. If you shop for an LG refrigerator, you better check the consumer review. I would think twice from now on before buying another LG product.

A month ago the compressor on our LG French Door refrigerator model# LFX31925ST/00 died. It is still under LG warranty. Frequent calls to LG customer service only get another customer service representative that says they understand but are unable to do anything because. Each has a different because. Tonight, one even stated there was no record of us ever reporting a problems. Others have said the parts have been shipped to the technician a week ago, but the technician hasnt seen them. The technician called them and they said there was no record of the parts being ordered, even though the technician gave them the order number. This is an example of a complete runaround with no apparent intent to fulfill their warranty responsibilities. Or it may just be an attempt to defraud senior citizens. We are an elderly couple that lives in a very rural area. We must keep our medicines cold. Daily trips to town are out of the question.

LG WT4870C Top Load Washer - I would like to give this washer zero stars. It has to be the worst washing machine I have ever owned. The cleaning process takes much longer than the timer indicates. The clothing is not clean. I still have underarm stains, pet hairs, make-up on my clothing after a wash. The IE error comes on after each and every wash making the process longer as I have to reset it to Spin Only in order to get the clothing wrung out. I will never buy this type of non agitating agitator machine again. I wish I could get my money back but I waited too long. I hated it after the first week. I am going back to a front load washer and not an LG ever again.

This french door fridge (split doors, one fridge drawer and one freezer drawer) was bought in 2015. It has moderate space (the freezer section is a little small). It had to have the compressor and evaporator replaced in December 2018 right before Christmas. Cost of repair was cover by LG. Cost to replace all the food for Christmas that was ruined was covered by me. After that we put a small cheap (freezer on top) fridge in the basement and keep about half our food in it because we were told that this was a known issue and we could not be guaranteed how long before it would need to be fixed again. Its now October of 2019 (10 months later) and the fridge is once again not cooling. A tech is coming to look at it and we didnt lose as much food this time but no one should need two fridges to keep one fridge worth of food cold. I would strongly recommend avoiding LG or any fridge using a linear/inverter compressor. Other brands fridges with lessor warranties may cost less but are often still manufactured by LG with the same technology (which seems to be flawed or poorly manufactured). Our previous fridge was an old and ugly Kenmore but it had kept food cold for 20+ years with nothing but an annual cleaning of the coils.

LG Compressor complaint bought 3 years ago (brand new). 05/15/2017 - When I started filing a claim thru LG protection plan. I spoke to a male representative and mentioned that he will send someone to check the fridge. We briefly explained to him whats going on. That the fridge is not cooling and since my husband is a technician himself, he knows whats going on to the fridge. My husband mentioned that the compressor is not working. The rep sent us a part for relay which when the (First attempt) technician came over to fix it. He said that they sent the wrong parts. He said and will report to LG that it was the compressor that is broken. We waited for the parts to be ordered. I called several times to follow up (month of May/June). The reps were telling me that the compressor is on its way and they have set up an appointment with the technician but the parts still hasnt arrive to the house. I even asked the representative if the technician will have the actual compressor because we havent received it. She said if we didnt have it then the technician would probably have it. When the same technician arrived to the house (Second attempt), he doesnt have the parts and we dont have it as well. He ended up leaving without fixing it and recommended to call LG again. I called and when I spoke to another representative, they said that it was on back order. How come they didnt explained it in the first place and sending the technician just to waste our time? I complaint to them and ended up talking to a supervisor who gave me a mini fridge that we picked up at a local Home Depot for the inconvenience because I told them that Im pregnant and taking insulin which I appreciate them for accommodating me.When I called and spoke to the technician. He mentioned that when its 40 days and still cant find the parts that probably we will be reimbursed. I called on the 40th day. That is June 26th. That same day the compressor came in the morning and my mother received it. However I was not home at the time so I asked him if he will schedule the service. The representative I spoke to said that he cant schedule it for some reason in his system and told me to call an 800-243-0000 number to schedule the service. When I called this number, they couldnt locate my claim nor cant find me on the file. The person I spoke to said that I have to call LG back to get this situated. Then they schedule me with Precision services who message since 06/28/2017 and said that they will schedule the service and we will get a call. Several text reminders received until on 06/29/2017 a text message came and said they are ready to schedule the service. Still theres no live person that I can talk to when they are coming. On 06/30/17; they message me again and wants me to explain briefly what the situation is. Instead of texting them I called them instead and was able to talk to someone who scheduled the service on 7/7/2017.Finally the tech came in the morning and my husband called me at work and said that the technician didnt fix it and just troubleshoot the problem about the compressor. He even said that why sent him there when they know that they have to send a LG manufacturing license technician who can fix the compressor. I got so furious and upset. I called them on 7/7/2017 and spoke to the supervisor, Angel who promised that someone within 4 hours will call me and schedule the service but no one called. I called this Morning and spoke to another supervisor named Chase who stated that theres a service provider that can do it and its near our location and will request it however, considering its the weekend that they might be closed. He said that I have to wait 1 business day. I told him I was told if they couldnt locate anyone to fix our fridge to just reimburse us. We have been waiting for so long. Its going to be almost 2 months without a fridge. Several calls has made and they didnt even call us back for the status. I have to constantly call them what happened to the back order parts, when finally we receive the parts, asking them when the technician will fix it. Now, they couldnt locate a license technician who can fix our LG fridge and still I have to wait. Theyre explaining that it has to be license LG manufacturing which I totally understand. If they know the problem, they should have located a technician long time back. I have this on file, the other technician informed them the problem since beginning of June. We are now in July and still no resolution. I will wait again on Monday for a phone call which is not for sure if they will find a technician and still by then he is still not sure what will be the resolution to the problem. They keep on promising and misleading the customer. What kind of LG protection is this, this should have been handled smoothly. When you have protection services, they should have a good contact technician that is license to fix with this kind of problem and not let the customer have false hope, give reason to wait and still be disappointed. Sorry doesnt cut the chase and were still inconvenience with this problem. Im pregnant and stressing me so much. I dont know what else I can do to resolve my issue and Im writing a complaint and hoping that someone from LG Company resolve this issue as soon as possible. I saw LG compressor complaints online and has 1840 which I dont know if they resolve it. They should at least pay attention to this issues.

I was remodeling my kitchen and bought a brand new range and an over the range microwave, delivered 12/2018, installed in Feb 2019 due to kitchen not being ready. When started using it I noticed some white spots or discoloration on the stainless steel front of the range. As the range worked fine I did not immediately call CS to see if anything can be done about this issue. Then the microwave stop working so I called CS and told them about both appliances and they scheduled a time to come out for the MW but told me they would be get back with me about the range which they never did after a week. When the guys came out to look at the MW I showed them the spots and they tried cleaning them as well. They said Id have to call back in as nothing was scheduled for the range just the MW. They even confirmed that the front face of the range could be replaced a simple fix. I called the next Monday to ask about this again and the first guy told me from what he could see, from a photo I had sent in the first time, it was nothing that can be done about it. So I ask why he thought that from looking at a photo, he said he would get me over to a supervisor. After being on hold for 20 minutes a guy got on the phone and told me that if I would have called as soon as I noticed the spots that they could have replaced it based on a defect but since I waited that there was nothing they could do about it. He said it might be a chemical reaction but I told him Ive only used what was recommended for me to use. I asked them if they could replace the front piece and he said no that because I waited that there was nothing they could do about it. Yes I waited until the MW stop working before I called because the range was working fine. I know that if CS wanted to help and replace one piece that they could have but they punished me for waiting, its not as if I was asking for a brand new range. Ive already have had a few people ask me what LG did about taking care of the range and now I can let them know and everyone know that they chose not to do anything because I was busy and didnt call right away. I will never buy LG again!!!

Where to start... Loading this is awkward. Nothing fits easily without having to adjust the racks. The silverware holder is flimsy and falls apart every time you pull it out. I had to zip ties ours together. It takes more than 2 hours to run a Normal wash. And unless you washed everything before loading, the chances of the load being 100 percent clean is slim to none. You have a better chance of George Clooney and Brad Pitt washing and drying your dishes by hand than you do of getting a clean load out of this machine! You have to use liquid soap. Pods wont dissolve in this machine. Theres a filter. A pain-in-the-butt filter, with a Rubber washer that is to be emptied and cleaned every few days. Plus the spray arms clog.Often... THIS MACHINE REQUIRES MORE MAINTENANCE THAN A BEVERLY HILLS HOUSEWIFE!!! And like a RHOBH, it does NOT work! This is a perfect machine for a Newlywed couple who is despised by a frenemy or scorned mother in law. This machine will drive a newlywed insane. Night after night of unclean dishes. This is the kind of machine that will give a new wife an eating disorder... If you buy this machine, your spouse will not only question your thought process about this purchase, but he will question you. And why he ever dumped Susan for you. He will question all of his life choices with you after a few weeks with this purchase. This machine is that bad. Im serious. I would not buy this machine for Eva Braun as a wedding present. I wouldnt wish it on her. Dont. Just dont.

My LG refrigerator (7 years old) compressor failed, LG does not want to cover labor to replace it. There is (was) a class action lawsuit against LG about faulty compressors so it is a known issue. None of LG authorized repair shops in my area wants to fix this compressor issue. I also called 15 local repair shops and I heard multiple times that even after a compressor is repaired it is about a 50% change that it will work properly. Thats why repair shops dont want to fix them. I am not in a position to spent $600 for labor cost now especially if I may need to pay the same cost again because the compressor issue was not resolved/fixed. It is a very expensive problem that LG has created and knows about and LG has to be willing to repair the compressor at no cost to customers because it is such a persistent problem. LG is refusing to cover the cost of the compressor itself and the labor cost to replace it or provide a refund for the refrigerator so we can afford to buy a new one.

I bought the largest refrigerator with an ice crusher to provide ice and food for my disabled husband. He is disabled with Parkinsons from exposure to Agent Orange during his service in Vietnam. I am his sole caregiver. He is on many medications and a special diet so I needed a reliable refrigerator. At first this unit was great but the condenser died and we lost all our food and his medications. We had bought the LG long term warranty. Their warranty department is not connected to their service department but their service department does not have the warranty information. After many calls for 2 weeks to both warranty and service departments they finally sent a service provider who took another 2 weeks to fix the unit. The service provider did not receive good information from LG and kept asking for information that I did not have. Finally, the refrigerator was fixed. Two months later the refrigerator is not cooling again. Again I am having to call both warranty and service departments. It has been a week since the unit broke and the warranty and service departments have not even called a service provider to fix the refrigerator. I learned last time I have to call everyday to get results. Their call center is in the Philippines so their English is very difficult to understand so I have to ask them to repeat almost everything which is frustrating to me and to the call center operators so we do not get along. Both these situation have been very costly in loss of food and medications and frustrating in their inefficiency in dealing with broken refrigerators. Isnt that what they are there for? Why isnt their system designed to immediately deal with warranty needs????

This item had good ratings and suggestions directly to me from store associates and consumer ratings. Online there were very electorate reviews from multiple retailers and review websites about how this refrigerator, in general, was the best one that many of the spoken consumers had every previously owned. I like the water filter, cooling levels, storage space, stainless steal, and ice machine. Additionally, it has a wide breadth, lots of shelves, easy to clean interior and exterior, and good lighting inside the machine. Sound levels, height, and some leakage at the bottom occasionally. Otherwise, there is nothing else I notably dislike. I would improve the quickness of the ice making process for the ice maker machine, and I would also improve the noise levels for lower levels or whirring and shaking noises.

I own the LG WT5101HW top load washer. I purchased 3yrs ago from Best Buy. We have a family of 5 so I hoped the extra large capacity would be a great option. Unfortunately we have benefited from this option due to it throwing it off balance and giving an UE code. We received a recall letter and had the LG repair guy change the part (I believe the circuit board) in September 2013. Its no ones fault but mine that Ive waited 9mo to complain about the fact that the problems have been worse since the repair was done, but in my defense it didnt happen right away. The knob for the settings however did not get put back correctly and does not spin freely like it used to, but I tried to overlook that since it would cost me a day of work to have the repair guy come back out to fix it. The unbalance code would occur only about 2 or 3 times a month in the past and we just thought it was overloaded or honestly unbalanced, but when we checked it the clothes were not shifted in a way that shouldve caused it to be out of balance in my opinion. In the last 2 months however the code goes off more often, to the point where its every other load it seems even on a small load. The drum is very violent and causes the machine to shake around a lot. And when you move the clothes around and push the start button again even if it says only 1minute is left, it will run for an hour if you dont stop it. We have had to just turn it off and put in the dryer. Thankfully it has not ripped apart as Ive seen in videos, but at this rate it seems its any day now. When I called LG about the on going issue, they said that a repairman could come look at it, but it would be at my expense since its out of warranty. Doesnt matter that it is the same problem from the recall nor did it matter only 9mo have passed since the recall repair was done. I asked to speak with a supervisor and was given the same speech. I have been a huge LG fan for years after buying my first flat screen t.v. from them, but our family will never own another LG product after this and I will spread the word about LGs lack of concern involving a very expensive washing machine that last less than 3yrs. Id rather have my old Whirlpool washer with over sprayed paint to cover the rust at this point!

I go on and with all the problems I have had with this fridge from one month after I got it and all the food that I have lost and LG wont do nothing about it. Especially now that it is off of warranty. It first started with the ice maker and then the fans that keep going out in the freezer and you would have to turn the numbers and it would end up freezing the food on top and then it get so warm you end up throwing all of your food out. Just like the other day, I had to throw over half of my food and food is not cheap. I have had repairman and repairman after repairman out and it maybe fixed for a couple of weeks or a month and it would be back at it again. I have tried to get LG to replace it or give my money back and they couldnt care less. I have asked them about the lemon policy they mention in the paper and they couldnt care less. Just like would tell me there is no such thing and I would tell them I have it here in black and white and now that my extended warranty is out, Home Depot wont have anything to do with you. They just want to go away. I cant afford to buy another one but do they care? Heck, no. They think youll just go out and replace it. I paid close to $2,000 for it and they dont. Now the top half is keeping things so warm I cant trust putting food in it because in a couple of days, it would be sour and would just have to throw it out. Now dont expect them or anyone to help you. Now, my ice maker is at it again and my electric bill is really showing it because I have to turn it up. All I am asking them to do is replace it and not with the same model and you think they would even bother consider that, no!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What the consequences is that you dont get a replacement or get any money back and lime. I said I could go on for days of all the problems but what good would it do? So guess who does without a fridge, not them, me. Someone needs to do something with them not even wanting to replace it and when you are willing to even downgrade yourself. I have all the same complaints if not more as everyone else but you only can place so much on this. And no one cares anyways and NO HELP ANYWAY, but I thought I at least could write this and try and WARN OTHER PEOPLE, DONT EXPECT ANY HELP.

We purchased an LG French Door LFXS29626B refrigerator 1 1/2 year’s ago and it stopped working about three weeks ago. All the food In the bottom freezer dethawed and no ice is disowning from the door. I have called LG numerous times and had their tech out three times. He said it was the compressor and ordered the part, came back five days later installed another part (apparently just because the part came in what appeared to be a new box did not mean it was a new part). It still doesnt work. Meanwhile we’ve been living out of coolers and LG gives excuse after excuse when I ask to speak to a supervisor. Had I known about the class action suits that have been brought against this company I would not have bought this piece of junk. As for “customer service” LG would does not know what that is or care to provide it. This has truly been a horrendous experience and they should be held accountable.

I purchased a two drawer LG refrigerator (LMX25981ST) in April 2010. In February 2013, the freezer stopped working. I called LG customer services and was put on hold several times for 5-7 minutes each time. Then I was given a phone number for an authorized service center (which it seems was nearly 200 miles away). When I called them, they said they could possibly send someone out the following week (I called on a Wednesday, they wanted me to wait until the following Tuesday). I couldn’t get an earlier time and really needed the refrigerator. And so, I called a local repairman who was able to come that day. He said there was a leak in the freon and that I needed to call LG back. When I reached someone at LG again the next morning, they tried to put me off for another 3-5 business days, which was unsatisfactory. I expressed that I could not be without a working refrigerator that long as I have medication and other needs that must be kept refrigerated. They were no help and seemed uncaring. Also, this was a very expensive refrigerator, and I was at a loss as to why I would be having this problem less than 3 years after I bought it. At the time I bought the refrigerator, I changed all my appliances to LG because I trusted the brand. I had a major problem with the gas stove and had to return it for another model, which also had problems and had to be serviced less than a year after the purchase. The LG microwave oven that I also bought at the same time had a problem with the door, but the service on the other 2 appliances had been so poor that I have been just living with the microwave problem. LG appliances look very nice on the showroom floor and in my kitchen, but that is where the nice stops. The appliances have not held up, and LG has not been helpful in resolving the issues. The customer service is very poor and that, along with the quality issues, would keep me from buying another LG appliance or recommending one to anybody. I have had nothing but problems, and they are ongoing.

Bought this in 2014. Had never washed worth a darn. I paid over $900 on this piece of junk. The fact that I have to start out on the bulky setting till it fills up, then turn it off, restarting it on power cleanse to get the clothes to move around makes it not so energy efficient! If not used in this manner, the lack of water causes the clothing to rub against each other causing pilling of the material. Doesnt clean properly either. You have to pre treat, and wash 4 times to get any kind of stain out. Im buying a new machine this year and it wont be an LG. What a waste of hard earned money! Im so frustrated!

I know this as my husband drives a truck for a living and brings home very grungy work clothes, and I can never get them spotless. Its really disappointing when you spend good money on appliances, to only have that money wasted on something you cant return. This machine smells, rattles and take forever to complete a cycle. I trust the LG brand and when it came to looking for a quality fridge that would also quench our thirst as we go through a lot of water as a family...this brand was the best choice for not only our family but the space we needed it for. The LG refrigerator I used was spacious enough for us and I loved the fact that it was from a brand I trust and love. I loved the ice maker and water dispenser on it. The water from it was some of the best water. The fridge itself had tons of room and fit the space perfectly. The fridge we used had a bottom drawer freezer. I wasnt a huge fan seeing that it sometimes would catch if food shifted. The fridge had a lot of room...sometimes I felt too much room lol. So the spaciousness was a pro and con...mainly because I am short.

We purchased an LG LDF7551ST dishwasher in June 2012 for $800. While under warranty, in June 2013, it stopped working (Error message E1) and needed service and parts replaced. In September 2013, the same issue occurred and the dishwasher needed to be serviced and similar parts replaced. This happened a third time this past Tuesday, July 15. This is obviously defective merchandise and LG refuses to replace the machine. They say that they are doing me a favor by extending the warranty on the parts being replaced. Some for the second and possibly now the third time.I have, to date, needed to take time off from work five times: once each for the appliance company to come to evaluate the problem and once for them to replace the parts. In addition, I have been on the phone with LG for numerous hours both on hold and trying to get some kind of resolution to this matter. The managers I spoke with both said they are at the highest level of decision making and refused to replace this machine. They told me I could write a letter to LG but it would come to them and nothing more would be done and I would not even get a response. I purchased a defective machine which should be replaced. I do not have the time nor patience to have to deal with this issue every few months.

I chose the LG refrigerator because I had done a lot of research and it was the best one of all. It is large and can hold most of our groceries with no issues. All I wanted it to do was hold groceries and it has more than met that expectation. It has a door that separates and lets you have more storage for more items. The freezer is huge and has a lot of room. I am able to find things I need quickly and easily. It is the best refrigerator I have ever had. Its nice and I am very happy with it. I cannot think of much I would want to improve. Maybe making the ice maker faster is something as it can be very slow and I am impatient. Now, $360 later, my two year old stove will be getting fixed by a reputable appliance repair company in my area. I will never buy LG again.I have now purchased a refrigerator and a stove within the last four years total. I have had to replace my ice maker on my refrigerator to the tune of $200 that appears to be rusting on the stainless steel (that has not been treated improperly in any way) and now I am replacing the board on the back of my stove to the tune of $360. My reply was metal, so LG told me it may help to replace it with the flexible! LG/Best Buy installed the machine, it is their responsibility to provide the suitable hose. However, was told that they would not pay to replace or reinstall. I was also told I may get more water if I washed everything on the Bulky cycle. The warranty does not cover cosmetic issues, so I had to, after 4 hours on the phone, deal with LG supervisors. I am in the process of waiting to hear if the oven door will be replaced at no cost to me. From what I learned on the internet, this is a common problem in the manufacture of stainless steel appliances, but the companies that sell them refuse to take responsibility for the issue and blame it on the consumer for not taking proper care of the product.

Do not waste your money on the washer, and do not bother getting Home Depot
Do not waste your money on the washer, and do not bother getting Home Depot extended warranty. Both are useless. LG doesnt want to know anything after only 1 year. Extended warranty states that it is not a covered service, so why the extended warranty? Just to get more money out of you. Washer has defect - seal gets damaged and they state it is not a mechanical problem, even though water is leaking due to the seal hole. The rep told me the seal just keeps the door closed, but the washer is working fine. The seal gets damaged due to a manufacture defect. They know this and so it is not covered. I searched many reviews and complaints are all the same. Do not bother purchasing LG products. You get no help in correcting their defects!

This is the worst design I have seen for a gas range. The knobs turn on easily. I first realized this after it had been installed and I told my husband, that could be so dangerous with kids in the home. We have accidentally hit them and turned them on ourselves so to have kids in the home would be awful. Even the older ranges have a safety feature for the knobs so they dont turn so easily. I woke up last night to a house full of gas. The stove had been running gas for at least 5 hours. We live in a multi level condo and the smell had become so strong upstairs that it woke me up.I did read there is a lock out feature by pushing the lower clear/off button down for 3 seconds; however, its a matter of always remembering to do that. I truly believe there should be a case made and there should be a safety recall on these stoves/ranges. Not happy. I will be shopping for something new. Regardless of the cost, whats the cost of our lives! Bad bad design. You would think in this day and age products would be safer than older models. Why then is this one SO dangerous???

I like that it was stainless steel and side by side freezer and fridge. It got really really cold and it didnt make a sound when you turned it on. I like that it had multiple shelves inside the refrigerator and freezer. That is everything that I love about my LG refrigerator. It didnt have filter water or ice made in the fridge and that it didnt have a under freezer and a side by side refrigerator. Thats really everything I didnt like about the LG refrigerator. The LG refrigerator has meet my expectations for it. It had everything I loved and a few this I didnt like but overall my experience was great and I would totally recommend it to someone else.

Our Samsung washing machine was a replacement for a recalled Samsung washing machine. It was a top of the line machine and lasted about 3 years. Samsung provided no help or recourse to fix or replace this machine. We spent $85 for a repair person to tell us the brain was dead in the Samsung machine. Now we are using a 20 year old washing machine because our 3 year old Samsung is dead. Do not buy a Samsung washing machine!

DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT, BUY LG!! We purchased an LG French Door Refrigerator in July 2014. Model #LFXS30766S/02. In June of 2017, the fridge stopped working, circuit board was replaced. Worked until August of 2018, repairman just left, after diagnosing that it has a sealed system failure and it would cost $1200.00-$1500.00 to fix. This fridge, mind you, cost $2300.00!! We have lost all the food in it and are presently living out of a cooler and a small dorm-type fridge to tide us over. I wish that I had done more research before we bought this lemon! We named it Voldemort, because its evil! Do yourself a favor-do not buy anything LG! Evidently, they dont care about their customers or making a good product. Life is Good?? Not if you have the misfortune to own an LG product-especially a fridge!!

Bought my house 1.5 ago and brand new appliances came with it including the LG refrigerator. Don’t get me wrong I LOVED this fridge at first, however December 31st my compressor went out. Called LG the next day they said a tech in the area would call us to schedule a diagnosis. Took the techs three days to call us. I won’t hold that against them because it was the holidays however the earliest they will be out here to diagnose my fridge is the 14th. That is TWO weeks without a working fridge and this is just to diagnose it.When I called customer service again I found out the technician may not even have the part to fix the fridge when he is here!!! To top it off local people where I live will not touch LG products because of a lawsuit going on with the compressor and the hassle it is to be paid and receive the parts from LG. Even if I could find a local appliance tech to fix it it will still take LG a week to provide them with a letter of approval! So it puts me right back at two weeks or possibly more without any means to cool my perishable items unless I buy a ton of coolers and ice or a mini fridge which still would not fit all of my items. If I could give LG less than a star I would. Poor products and absolutely no care for their customers. The next appliances I buy will be anything but an LG.

My daughter and I bought a house with new appliances, (LG) the refrigerator
My daughter and I bought a house with new appliances, (LG) the refrigerator worked for 9 months but it was three months old when we started using it. When it failed, we called LG and they said it is out of warranty, you can hire an independent technician or hire us to diagnose the appliance. We hired someone who said it had a defective piece from fabrication. We called back to LG, they said they will repair for $400 where they will include the defective piece. I paid ($400) and they sent their technician who came and in a 5 minutes visit he said he came just to learn what was the problem, he would be back (one month already in this process). The next days we received a phone call from LG saying they wouldnt repair it because someone already put their hands on it and that we can expect $200 hundred refund (from my $400 I just paid) because the visit costs $200.How sad, how unfair, with my daughter a young person struggling to pay her bills receiving a treatment like this one. Now she has been more than a month with no refrigerator, lost the money she paid for the first technician and again the same amount by having LG putting their hands into her account in such a way. Their only suggestion is to buy a new one. Can I expect a little of justice for my daughter? I m planning to write a letter to the CEO but I know the chances for him to never read it are higher that the opposite. I hope you can do something about it.

LFC22760SW - My husband and I purchased a bottom freezer Refrigerator 2007
LFC22760SW - My husband and I purchased a bottom freezer Refrigerator 2007 with a 5 year warranty. A month ago the lights stayed on in the refrigerator and we only noticed it when returning from shopping. There was a smell of burnt plastic in the kitchen. When opening the fridge we noticed that the lights stayed on. My husband immediately removed them and I called LG. They sent over a repair man which told me that the part would probably take two weeks and if longer LG would replace the fridge or pro-rate it. LG has had problems with this model of fridge and never sent us a recall letter during my 5 years of warranty. Now because it is 7 years they want to pro-rate it and take back the old fridge. They also told me that the part was no longer available. This is really unacceptable as a new fridge would cost $2000.00 plus tax, I paid $2000.00 plus tax plus 5 year warranty and they would give me $675.00. If you calculate it would have cost me $4000.00 over 7 years. It is quite unacceptable and I do not believe that I will be buying another LG in the near future.

After spending $3,500 - before tax - on LG French door with beverage fridge and bottom freezer, 14 months later, the compression is shot. Thank goodness we bought the extended warranty. But, repairman cannot get replacement compressor for at least 19 days; thats just to get the part into US. So, repairman made recommendation that a new fridge be sent to us. LG though, refuses to talk with us about if approved, when will be delivered, etc. LG says “Talk to the repairman,” and he says he doesnt know anything until 3-5 business days - until LG makes determination.Meanwhile, I have to try and feed 6 year old, 90 year old, and two adults, without a working refrigerator. More salt in the wound? Consumer Reports ranked this particular LG frig model as 2nd highest. I even researched and still got clobbered. Repair person who contracts with Sears said Samsung and LG are bad makes, regardless of what model. He recommended Whirlpool. Live and learn.

We purchased an LG washer and dryer set. The dryer works well, but the washer is a disaster. Our towels have an unpleasant musty smell just 1 day after they are washed. The rubber sleeve between the front panel and the drum is literally designed to trap moisture and grow mold. What a horrible design! We miss our old top loader Amana. That washer worked wonders on spots and dirtier clothes like playground pants with grass on the knees. Our front loader LG, on the other hand, is a piece of cr@p. We are waiting for this thing to develop any problem so we can replace it with a Bosch. Dryers works well. Washer doesnt get the clothes clean. It uses less water than our old washer but what good are water savings when the clothes dont get clean? We will check Amazon customer reviews to see which models to AVOID like the plague. Before buying this LG washer we were focused on efficiency but with LG efficiency came at the cost of less than clean clothes and smelly towels. Reliability is important but effectiveness is a very close second. A reliable, highly efficient washer is junk if it doesnt get the job done. To reiterate, stay away from LG clothes washers. The design of the drum, pump, and the drum seal is defective. It traps moisture and promotes mold growth. Also, the pump/filter assembly on these washers holds about 12 OZ of water at all times. We forgot to drain the filter assembly before going on a 3-week vacation. When we came back, the whole downstairs of the house smelled like sewer. The stench was coming from our wonderful LG washing machine. I had to flush it with 2 gallons of bleach! Stay away from LG washers! They are toxic!

But now, the washer leaks, the drum is corroded with black disgusting gunk that is difficult to get to let alone clean. The clothes stink even after washing them twice, with bleach and fabric softener. The dryer spins but there aren’t any heat. We spent over $2,500 on the set from Home Depot and have been disappointed to say the least. We also had a bad experience with an LG dishwasher and refrigerator. I bought an LG refrigerator 2 years ago for ~$3,000. Model LFX31945ST. This week it went out. Luckily I bought an extended warranty and called for repair. In speaking to the manufacturers technicians the ice and air circulation fans go out all the time and have to be replaced. So the technician that was ordered by my extended warranty claim came out and did not replace the fan (did not have the part) even though the error code that diagnoses the problem was clear to them. They cannot get the part a week to 10 days from now. So my food is spoiled (have a $250 food spoilage coverage) which will replace about 10-25% of the spoiled food and I will have waited 2 weeks without a refrigerator because even though they know this part is likely to go bad -no technician carries it. I will not buy another LG product but I made the mistake of buying an LG washer and dryer and I probably wont have long to wait until they go bad also.

February of 2013, the oven stopped working again! I bake a lot so was upset I had to get it repaired again. We live in a small town and it is hard to get repairs done. After phoning around, I found out that the range had a recall on it in 2012! Why were letters not sent out? It took three months to finally get it repaired. Yesterday, November 6th, the oven doesnt work again! I called the recall line and had to fax the bill of sale to them. As of now, I havent heard back. I told them I would just like to get a new range so I dont keep having problems with this range because I bake a lot. The person I talked with said I probably wouldnt get the full value for the range, if they dont repair it again. I cant go without an oven for another 3 months. I have had nothing but problems with our LG Waveforce top load washing machine. Since day one, it has been unbalanced in almost every single load. It doesnt matter if its a small load, normal size or large load. It is always unbalanced. Because of this issue, the machine tries to fix itself, which ends up using 2-3 times the amount of water just trying to get it balanced. So, when you buy this unit thinking you will save money of your water bill and that its energy efficient, think again. The 45-minute load ends up taking 2 hours and 3 times the water. Another issue I have had is the pulsator. It just pops off the bottom of the drum in the spin cycle. We have had to fix it multiple times and now is unfixable. We will either need to replace the whole inner part or buy a new washer. I have called LG multiple times with no help at all whatsoever. LG Counter Microwave 1260SW/1260SB - After three years of use, not daily, there was burning smell coming out of the side vent and a grinding sound inside. I contacted LG and they said it sounded like the magnetron. LG said it sounded like the magnetron, which was covered under a 10-year warranty and then referred a local repair shop. We took it in. They charged us $50 for a diagnostic test and $46.02 for labor for the magnetron. Two days later, we brought it home and the situation was worse than when we took it in. Back to the repair shop we went and the shop called saying it was the fan motor. Well, they wanted another $50 for labor and parts. After refusing to pay any more labor costs, they fixed it. The only parts were for a stirrer motor and stirrer support and another $26. We got it home, plugged it in, and turned it on. Inside lit up like a neon light and it started sparking. Light was so bright and sparks so bad, my husband and I thought it was going to blow up. Back to the shop it went. They put a container of water inside, no sparks or excessive lighting happened, so they deemed it fixed. I refuse to use it. We paid almost as much in repair bills as we did in purchasing it. As much as I loved the horseshoe design inside the microwave, this was just too much hassle, expensive and time consuming to repair. I had also contacted two other small appliance places to see if we were being ripped off. Both told me they refuse to work on LG small appliances. They either couldnt get the parts or it took a week or more to get them in, inconveniencing their customers. No more LG appliances for us.

Also after 2 phone calls (and later 3 emails) was told to bake at 375 degrees with water (like in easy clean method). Later told to try mixing vinegar and baking soda. NO luck. If I may also mention setting the timer to either bake start/stop or to simply use the timer usually turns oven off. Not sure how to overcome or understand that process. There are a few other suggestions but if only the oven would get clean we could use the oven w uncovered dishes, steaks, etc.

Purchased an LG side by side refrigerator in October 2016 with an extended warranty. Last week 7/20/20 I noticed a warm freezer and warm refrigerator temp. I called LG to schedule a service call and was told August 4 was the next availability. Also was told that was the best they could do. I researched area authorized LG repair and found Sears appliance repair. When I called they had told me July 28 was their next available date. I called LG back to let them know, I was told that dispatch could not be changed even after I found the earliest available date from a factory authorized repair center. Sears told me that warranty would have to be submitted directly to LG by me after repair and bill was taken care of. Sears was great. They came earlier than expected, had the parts on the truck and all was fixed in a couple of hours. We paid the bill and contacted LG for warranty claim. Not only was my wife put on hold for hours when asking for a supervisor, but when a supervisor finally connected we were vehemently denied any warranty. The reasoning was that the company they dispatched did not do the repair. When I explained the situation I was told I should have received a repair work order authorization number by the dispatcher for Sears which I never received or was told about. I also suggested that I pay for labor and asked if LG would at least pay for parts (which I still have) and again was denied. Roughly $550 in parts, $450 in labor and it looks like I will be handling the full amount with no resolution. I do not understand why LG did not help better in this situation. I found that these linear compressors have a high failure rate, have multiple class action lawsuits working against LG and poor customer service help from the start to help me rectify this problem. I just do not understand.

We purchased this refrigerator in December 2016. The first issue was the very typical water tube leak which caused cascading icicles in the freezer (LOWES was very helpful with this problem). A couple of days ago, the right top hinge came loose, causing the door to hit me in the chest. I had to support the door to prevent it falling completely off. We were able to reattach the hinge pin and duct tape it to prevent a recurrence. This could have had catastrophic results. Prior to the hinge pin coming out, the door had been difficult to close properly, but we could not see what was causing the problem. I will not purchase any more LG products.

The washer goes unbalanced since I bought it new. Ive called LG MULTIPLE TIMES and they have done nothing about it. They finally want to send out a repairman but per my research I have found out that the repairman will change my computer board and slow down the spin on my machine leaving my clothes wet still. This is not what I paid $700 for, its deceptive trade practice. Ive called Sears and LG both and neither is gonna stand behind their product. LG customer service is horrible and if you comment with a negative comment on their facebook page they will just remove it. If LG was a honest company they would leave THE NEGATIVE COMMENTS UNTIL THEY RESOLVE THE ISSUE.

I caution all consumers about buying LG products. Life is NOT Good when you buy their products. I purchased an electric LG range, model #LDE3017SW February 2013 from Home Depot for $1,649.00. Little did I know at the time that this would be the worst purchase of my life. I say this without a smidgen of exaggeration.I do not bake a lot so my oven stayed fairly clean. With Thanksgiving approaching, I thought I would use the self-clean feature for the first time. About two hours into the cycle, the oven stopped working completely. The digital display was completely dark and the oven doors locked and would not open even though the oven is completely cool and inoperable.I called LG and their phone representative told me that I was not alone, that this has been a problem with this particular oven and that the thermostat needed replacement. First, my warranty had expired and needed to be extended. I was asked to scan my receipt with the serial and model numbers. I did this the next day.Hearing nothing back from LG regarding the status of the warranty extension, I called them back. Initially the LG phone representative told me that they had not received my scanned receipts but then, after putting me on hold, he found them. He said that his supervisor had not made a decision about whether or not my warranty would be extended. I ask him how I would be contacted when such a decision was made and he told me that I needed to keep calling LG back. After one week of calling LG back I was informed that my warranty would indeed be extended. I was told that I should call the repair company that LG contracts within my area, Heavenly Cool, to have the replacement part installed. I asked the LG phone representative if the repair person would have the correct part and be able to fix the oven when they came to my house. He assured me that they would, that this repair with this particular oven occurred frequently and that it was just a routine repair.I called Heavenly Cool the next day and spent about an hour on the phone trying to set up a repair appointment. I gave them my model and serial number and was told that the repair person would have the part in-hand and be able to fix my oven. I took time off work so I could be home for the repair. While waiting at home for the repair, the repair person called me and asked for my model and serial number. He said no one had given it to him ahead of time and he would have to check and see if he had the proper part with him and call me back. I was stunned. I waited for his call. He called back and said that he could NOT come to my house that day because he did not have the part to fix my oven.I went from patient to stunned to righteously angry. I called Heavenly Cool and they did not know what the glitch was with communication but they would be glad to reschedule when the part came in! How much time can I take off work???? I felt that I was lied to. I called LG and explained my situation and they said that they would have to call Heavenly Cool to verify. I was put on hold. The LG phone representative resumed the call with me and said that, indeed, I had communicated the current situation accurately and that I just had to wait until the part came in for the repair. I said that taking more time off work was not an option at this point and he said that if this repair person had 2 or 3 other repair jobs in my area that they would come at a time convenient to me. Wow! So if the sun, moon, and stars all aligned properly I could have the repair done sometime after work?I asked to speak with a LG supervisor and was given Eric. I re-explained the whole situation and he apologized for my inconvenience. I asked Eric how he could help me and he said that I would just have to wait for the part to come in and for the attempted repair to occur. If the part did not fix the oven, then I might have to wait even longer for repair. At this point, 12 days had gone by since my oven became inoperable. Taking off work and eating out is becoming very expensive! I will be having 30 people at my house for Thanksgiving! I had done nothing wrong but use the self-cleaning oven feature that LG uses as a selling point for this product and now I was without a working oven. I asked Eric if LG would replace my oven under these circumstances and he, of course, said no and there was nothing else he could do from his end. All Eric could do was apologize for my inconvenience. Since Eric did not have the power to make this right, I asked to speak to Erics supervisor. Eric told me that there was no one with higher authority at LG than him. Wow! Eric apologized again for my inconvenience.I found this website and I see that I am not alone in my frustration but I am very alarmed that LG ranges sometimes catch on fire! I did notice that the bottom of my double oven seemed to get too hot and did not evenly cook food. Because there is a safety issue with LG products, I do not even want to use their products. I will never purchase anything from LG again! I will tell everyone I know not to purchase their products. If LG wants to stay in business, they should make things right for their customers! It is now almost two weeks since my oven broke and LG has done nothing effectively to correct the problem. I have, unfortunately, learned a very expensive lesson. The only good that can come of this is to warn other potential, unsuspecting victim consumers about the potential perils of purchasing LG products.

LG Oven Model LRE 30755ST - Tried to bake some brownies at 350 and the oven overheated out of control to the point that the brownies burned, the pan was ruined and smoke detectors went off. Must have been several hundred degrees above 350. Technician felt that the heating elements got stuck on, vs. cycling on and off. I felt that an oven heating up out of control should have been considered a safety issue vs. just another repair out of warranty.

I bought a LG microwave 3 years ago and it did not last even 2 years. It stopped working. And it says that it has a 10 year warranty on it. So now I have a Oster brand. Let’s hope it lasts longer. I have tried to get in touch and still trying to with LG.

We purchased an above range LG Microwave in Jan. 2021 and ask Lowe’s to install it. They were prompt to install it. It worked 2 days and would not heat. We waited a month for a service call, finally paid to get the new microwave repaired. Now on 2/24/21 it does not heat again. We are facing another long wait and additional expense. Do not buy this product!!

My door in door refrigerator ice maker makes very little ice since day 1 and stopped working 2 weeks ago and then noticed my food in freezer was thawing out. Had to trash some of it. I called LG since it is only 5 months old. Got the runaround like they did not want to come out. Technician comes out today and says compressor is bad and tells me it will be another 3 or 4 days before he can return to replace part. So I spend $1500 on a fridge and 5 months later they cannot immediately fix it!!! I should be able to claim lemon on this and now I find out LG and Samsung are not good refrigerators to buy.

Purchased LG Fridge December 18, 2015. The fridge broke down June 2019! The product is less than 3 1/2 years old. Had to throw all of the content within the fridge and freezer $500 in groceries. Customer service experience was so stressful. Customer service department for LG Canada is located in Panama. The customer service representatives lack experience, cannot answer any simple questions. They put the customer on hold for a very long period of time and most importantly the customer service representatives are NOT FLUENT IN ENGLISH!!!! The conversation was very, very difficult. I would never purchase a LG appliance. Caution when purchasing.
