If I knew then what I know now about the poor workmanship on this unit I would have not purchased a Samsung. Of all the refrigerators I have purchased over the years this one is the worst. Ice maker constantly freezing up, water leaks under the crispy drawer and freezes up to a point where we can’t open drawer. Need to remove drawer and chip away the ice to free the drawer temporary until the need to break away the ice again, about once every 3 to 4 weeks. Totally disappointed with my Samsung refrigerator and would not recommend any of my friends or family members to purchased one.

I bought this stove in 2014 and have had nothing but problems from the start. The model is NE58F9500SS. We had a glass top that was 20 years old so we wanted an update. Nothing wrong with the old stove, the glass top was still in fantastic shape. Had the Samsung a couple of weeks and it started showing major scratches. Very upsetting but accepted that I made a bad choice. But the amount of times Ive turned the stove on just by walking by is unacceptable. Tonight our house could have burnt down. NEVER leave anything on the stove, I had an oven mitt on the stove, never thought anything of it, 2 minutes later the mitt is in flames,so scary. I will always have the knobs off when l am not cooking. I just cant trust it. Please stay away from this product especially if there are children in the house.

In 6 months, my Samsung dishwasher that retails for $1600 has broken down 4 times and caused 3 floods. Two of the breakdowns happened on Thanksgiving day and Christmas day (before doing any dishes). Samsung customer service is horrible - drones who can only quote company policy and nothing more. Please share your stories at Samsung Repair Support Group on FB - I started the page yesterday hoping that if enough people join and share their stories, Samsung might pay attention and change their lack of product support.

Samsung range/oven Model NE595R1ABSR - Upon contacting Samsung service due to a sensor failure in my top oven, I am told that there is no certified service provider available within three hours of my home. Although my parts are supposed to be under warranty, I was told that they had no information on my ability to obtain a sensor and do the repair myself. Because I now have smoke coming out of the control panel when I bake in the lower, and because the lower oven is making the same sounds that the top made just before going out, it looks like I will have to replace the range. I wont make the same mistake in purchase. I wont buy from a box and I wont purchase Samsung.

We purchased our Samsung RF32MWDBSR at HHGREG on 10/12/2014, in Fort Wayne Indiana, am I thankful we purchased the 5 years warranty, never planned to have to use a warranty on such an expensive item but for weather considerations on a $2749.00 model you will consider. I paid an additional $449.99 for 5 yrs warranty to which is SLOW AND SLOWER to have repairs done. This is my 3rd complaint and according to their 3 complaints and Ill replace it with a NEW ONE I am waiting to see. I am not happy with this model. It has had so far, our first repair was on 7/23/2015 when compressor 66A and 34 A went out. E23/ Cond Fan error & Main PCB FAILURE. All this occurred the 1st time, then it would not cool equally as said to be in manual. We called in 2nd complaint they refused to send a repair man out. They made issue to call the other warranty program and give us the runaround. We called the other and nothing happened, then after 6 months they finally issued a check for loss of food for $200 which didnt even come close to all we lost two times. The refrigerator still has a flood of issues they wont fix. I have again just today decided to call in again and ask for a ticket order, all automated, with a 999-999-9999 number to call. Its a joke!! I put in for now a third service call because freezer ice maker is dead for 3 months cause they lost my last service ticket AGAIN... oh my! Well all I can say is Samsung offers no help whatsoever, on this faulty model and have no plans to help their customers who have a 5 yr warranty out either. I would love to sue them! It is beyond a recall when their product cant run for more than 8 months between major repairs. THEY LIE ABOUT WARRANTY CALL INSURANCE. They do not stand behind their product. PLEASE BUYERS BEWARE!

When baking cornbread looks done on outside and it took at long time to get brown but after cooling off and sliced it the middle was gooey. A couple of days later put Pillsbury Grands flaky biscuits in oven, used the convection option. Still the same thing. Well done on outside undone on bottom and middle. Yuck. I just purchased this oven Sept. 11, 2017. Do I need to adjust the temp or what SMH?

Had refrigerator/french door rfg297. etc. for 3 years. Replaced water filter on scheduled time. Now they have replaced the water filter on my model with a different type. This (same code does not fit) I have went to numerous stores and the internet suppliers as well as HHGregg where I purchased this unit (and 3 other units also). I have contacted Samsung business line 800 726 7864. They said that they have not replaced the above mentioned filter. Somebody is lying to me. The new filter not only does not fit, but looks different. I have talked to Samsung direct and HHgregg. They have confirmed what I thought. Its my problem.

We purchased the WaterWall dishwasher, three rack on March 22/2016. But we did not have it delivered until mid May because we didn’t move into our house until then. We actually paid 999.00 for it. Up until 6 weeks ago we had no problems with it. We are a retired couple with no children in our home. I would load and use the dishwasher about every 2-3 days. Being only two of us, it wasn’t over worked at all. The Famous 7 E code came to our attention. Not knowing a whole lot about the dishwasher I contacted Samsung and basically got told, I had no warranty. To make matters worse I live 3.5 hours from a appliance repair company. Knowing we could not afford a call out fee for someone to travel to and from our home never mind the cost of the repair, we decided after reading so many complaints about this model we would buy a different brand. It would be cheaper in the long run. My only concern is that if youre going to buy a major appliance. Do your homework and look it up on the reviews. I wish I had done mine and I definitely wouldn’t have bought this machine.

While baking at 375 degrees and standing in front of the oven I heard a loud pop, and then seen a lot of smoke coming out of the top rear behind the clock and program panel. From the smell, it was obviously an electrical fire. The circuit board and connectors burned up. Luckily I was close by and able to unplug the stove. Stove is completely inoperative and is only 6 1/2 years old. I never had any problems until now. I was able to unplug the stove so I do not know if the fire would have continued. Dangerous fire hazard. I wonder what would have happened if I was not home and my granddaughter decided to cook a pizza. Out of approx 40 comments I have read, three of them mentioned the same thing happening to them.

Have owned my Samsung appliances for 2 years, 6 months. The dishwasher leaks from the front just like described by many others. I have found that when loading the dishwasher the last time before running the cycle, I physically push the front gasket all the way around the opening (just run my finger around it) and it lessens or stops the leaking experience. This of course is not acceptable performance but it may help others until they replace their Samsung Dishwasher with another brand as I will do soon rather than spending any more money on this poor performing product. I will say, I LOVE my other Samsung appliances - Refrigerator, Stove/Oven, and/or Microwave - they all work GREAT and would definitely buy again.

I too bought Samsung dishwasher, over the cooktop microwave oven and refrigerator. The refrigerator broke right away and was under store warranty so Lowe’s took care of it - otherwise I’m sure it wouldnt have been fixed by Samsung! The outside of the fridge however started to rust within the first year and neither place would help out with it so my stainless steel looks crappy! The microwave broke. I just bought a new one instead of messing with Samsung because they are a joke. Now the dishwasher isnt working and when you call you talk to idiots that run through all these questions just to tell you it is not under warranty - yeah I knew that, then that they cant help you. I’ll Google it and try to fix it myself... I will never buy Samsung again and will tell everyone I know too.

Purchased the refrigerator recently. Samsung has been out numerous times and cant repair it. The problems seem to change with each tech and with each phone call. I get different reasons why it doesnt work correctly. Last outsider tech rep stated it was the smart app in the refrigerator has a problem. Samsung does not live up to its advertising or product warranty. Would not recommend Samsung to my worst enemy. In the advertising it states Stream music and videos, and watch your Samsung TV directly on your Family Hub... Also bought a new Samsung TV and they are not compatible. So states some Samsung reps. Others say that it should work. Spent a lot of money on garbage, in my opinion.

Went with Samsung given what we thought was a strong brand name, and the fact that the microwave had a sleek contemporary look. After just over a year the vent fan or light will spontaneously kick on. At the same time, the touchpad controls will not respond. We have to wash and basically polish the control panel - which runs along the bottom of the door, in order to regain control of the unit. And just for the record, the door can be spotlessly clean and it will still happen. And as the last couple of months have shown, the incidents are increasing in frequency. Also, if there is any time remaining after use (and no one clears the settings), the microwave will sporadically start to run. Imagine being in bed and having your microwave turn on - or the fan burst on. After reading other reviews I do not feel encouraged to call Samsung and unfortunately I will seek replacement with another manufacturer.

We bought all new kitchen appliances (4) from Home Depot and they were delivered Feb. 2014 to our winter home in Florida. The dishwasher has been used under a couple of dozen times (only 2 of us) as we did not use the place much since then due to our schedules. Arrived in Florida this week and first time we tried, it failed. We got the HEAVY & the Smart Auto indications on it and nothing worked. Searching online we find that this issue is well-known and well-reported by a lot of folks and reading their comments makes us regret buying anything from Samsung. Contacting Samsung was beyond ridiculous.Justin ** | Samsung Electronics America | Social Media Support & Executive Customer Relations made these comments: ...there is no known issues with this particular model. Despite all sorts of homeowners and technical people knowing all about it? Really? And also, ...we would be unable to offer any accommodations. Nothing? That is all you got to say and all you wish to do? Really?I even sent this guy links to various review sites all describing their exact same pain and you are totally unaware? Really? Perhaps lift your head out of the sand might help? We could pay to fix it as some have, but as so many stated the repairs failed again and in some case again & again I feel the best action is to throw Samsung in the garbage pile where they belong and purchase a better and more reliable dishwasher. And now I fear the future as the range, the fridge and the microwave are also Samsung appliances. Why oh why did I buy Samsung? ARGH!!!

Bought a Samsung Refrigerator in Feb 2015. In May of 2016 the Fridge part stopped cooling and I lost everything in the top. Called Repair as the Fridge is not under warranty. The service man made 5 trips out and 2 parts and now it is Sept 7 2016 and it is making a noise so long had to unplug it. It was frozen up again in the fridge part and was not cooling up to 62 degrees even though there is ice frozen to coils. Service could not even get panel off until it thawed for 24 hours or more. I still do not have a refrigerator working. The freezer still works fine like others have said. I am getting the run around and given a ticket number and no service guy will come out (they said they can not get answers from tech support) and there is no wiring diagram as other appliances have. Do your research. Do not buy Samsung!

Bought a Samsung over-the-range microwave from Sears. It came damaged with some dents. We figured it wasnt a big deal, we had waited months and went through a lost order hassle with Sears just to get the microwave, so we accepted what we got and installed it. Within a week of using the microwave, it started making a loud, screeching noise whenever we used it. We contacted Sears and were routed over to Samsung.Samsung said they cant replace/refund the microwave because you have to report damage within 48 hours of receiving the microwave. Good to know for the future, but I wont be buying from them ever again. This has been an almost 4 month back-and-forth between me, Sears, and Samsung. They are willing to send out a repairman to try and fix the loud sound, but they wont do anything about the exterior damage to the microwave. They gave me a service order number for the repair service and advised I call them to make an appointment so they can see about fixing the noise. I called the repair service and found out... oh, they dont service microwaves anymore. So now I have to call back Samsung and start the process all over again. I will never again buy a Samsung, not a fridge, not a microwave, not a TV or a phone. Never again. Same goes for Sears. At this point Im considering eating the cost of the microwave and throwing it out just so I dont have to deal with them anymore.

For over 3 weeks, I have reached out to Samsung Customer Service to get a resolution on a new stove that never worked. No one has helped me yet. Below is a summary of the contacts I have made. My last two attempts to contact customer service have left me at a dead end. I was told there was no number for me to contact and that I must wait to receive a call from Samsungs Office of the President. After over 3 weeks without a stove and not a single follow-up call from Samsung, you can only imagine how frustrating this is. I have not cooked on a stove for over 3 weeks now.On 9-15-2012, I bought a new stove from Lowes in Fort Collins, Colorado. On 9-17-2012, I contacted Samsung Customer Service to report that the stove top did not work and caused large electrical surges in my house. On 9-19-2012, I called Customer Service again because no one had called me back. They apologized for the slow follow-up and got me in touch with Elite Services, a repair company in Greeley, CO.On 9-21-2012, the service company looked at the stove and determined that the entire mechanical components of the stove top needed to be replaced. According to the service company, an order was placed through Samsung. On 10-3-2012, after no follow-ups from Samsung or the repair company, I called again, only to determine that Samsung dropped the ball and that nothing was happening. From what I gathered, the part for my brand-new stove was no longer made and they would see if there was some sort of alternative part. My confidence continued to dissipate. On 10-3-2012, I emailed the Office of the CEO through the Samsung Customer Service website and received an automated reply that I would be contacted in 1-2 business days. On 10-8-2012 at 8:30, I contacted customer service again since I have not received any calls from Samsung. They basically told me my issue was being reviewed by a manager and that someone would be in touch with me by the end of the day.On 10-8-2012 at 4:00 PM, after not hearing back from Samsung, I called again. They said the issue was being handled by the Office of the President. It was not possible for me to speak to anyone, but someone would call me possibly that night. I could not call anyone in the Office of the President. I was told they would have to call me. There was a refusal to put me in touch with a person that had the authority to handle my issue. Again, I was told to be patient and wait.On 10-9-2012 9:45 AM after not hearing back from Samsung, I called again and of course, got the same answer. Customer service could not help me nor provide any answers. I must only wait for someone from the Office of the President to call me. A timeline was not provided and I was told that there was nothing else that customer service or I could do but to just wait for a call back.I researched a phone number for Samsung corporate, 201-229-4000. I was put on hold and waited to speak with customer service from the Office of the President. After a couple of minutes, a message came on and said the call volume was too high and to leave a message and theyll call me back. Through research, I think the President of this Samsung department is David Choi.Certainly, I am very disappointed with the complete lack of care, concern, follow-through, etc., from Samsung on a brand new product. I am very concerned that there is no confidence on the proper repair for a part that is no longer made. I wont settle for anything but a repair that makes the stove operate like new, or a new stove. I have not had a stove to cook on for over 3 weeks now and I have given Samsung ample time to correct this. Here is an excerpt from Samsung’s Code of Conduct: 12 - Principle 3. We respect customers, shareholders and employees. The Company will endeavor to reach just resolutions of customer-related disputes and will respond to the complaints of customers in a transparent, timely and effective manner. This has not been transparent, timely or effective.

In March 2013, they brought me a new fridge. Immediately started having trouble - ice stuck in door, melted run down door, constant wet floor. Ice cream melted. Change filter light came on. Changed filter, light wont go off. Ice maker quit making ice. Panel will not change options. Today, 5-21-14, MOTHERBOARD OUT. WORSE EXPERIENCE EVER. NEVER AGAIN.

I purchased model NE59J7850WS/AA. It was not heating properly and I called to have it serviced. When the service tech came out he stated that they had several problems with this unit and thats just the way it was. He didnt even have a thermometer with him to check if the oven was heating properly. After using my own thermometer he made a few calls and replaced the entire board in the back. Its working better but does not heat evenly. The newest issue is that the glass top is really hard to keep clean. Ive had glass top stoves before and never had a problem like this. We called service and was told if it isnt a manufacturer defect we would have to pay for the service call. I think the most insulting thing was she was trying to tell us we didnt know how to clean the cooktop. I will never purchase another Samsung product. I dont believe they are a quality product.

We bought a Samsung stove - Model #NX58H5600SS and a microwave model #ME18H704SFS in May 2015. The stove overnight started beeping and now showing an error code SE. The Microwave has been making a weird buzzing sound for over a year (seems like something is broken inside). After the stove issue we decided to call Samsung and they basically told us our warranty for the stove is for one year and microwave if it’s magnetic issue then the warranty is for 10 years but you have to pay for labor in order to fix the issue. However, we have no idea what the issue is. I can’t believe that after having these items for less than 3 years we already have issues. I’m very disappointed that we purchased these products and would tell anyone not to buy it since they are crap products! Before remodeling our kitchen we had a stove that lasted years not just for three years. Ridiculous!!!! So now I have to get a service person to come and fix it. Stop selling crap products.

We purchased our fridge Jan 2014 and at first happy with it. Year and a half later the noise started. I could see through the small holes on the inside back, it was frozen over. Ice was coming through the small holes. The noise was awful. Then it quit cooling and the top ice maker quit. Repairman said it had frozen up and the fan that blows the cold air out into the fridge had gone out. The ice maker had quit because it also was frozen over. He took the ice maker drawer out and it was a solid sheet of ice. He thawed it out and it began working again. Not sure for how long. He told me this was a bad problem and it wasnt worth replacing if it didnt start back working after being thawed. Fortunately it did begin making ice again. I guess in the future I will just thaw the ice maker out when it quits again. He ordered another fan, and as a note it was on back order and it took them from Oct to Jan for the part to come in. Now a month later the noise has started again. So I will be calling a repairman again. Not sure what he will say this time. I would not recommend anyone buying a Samsung refrigerator. My brother had bought this same fridge around the same time I did, and it has done the same thing with them. Terrible noise and replacing the fan. His ice maker has gone out 3 times and they have replaced it each time. Why would they continue making this piece of junk? I cant believe I paid 2000 for such this crap. Stay away from Samsung refrigerators model RF28HFEDTSR/AA.

Horrible. Everything people are saying here rings true. I had trouble with the electronics panel from Day 1. The timer would not turn off properly, and Samsung did finally send a tech, who did nothing. A year in, I was baking and was unable to shut down the oven because the control panel wouldnt work. I had to throw the circuit breaker to get the oven to stop broiling! I believe I figured that the problem is that the panel gets nuts when it gets too hot since it was ok after the oven cooled down in 15 minutes. Some oven --- aaaaargh!

This is the very first consumer product review I have ever written. This is the worst experience with a new appliance I have ever experienced. The unit was loud from the start, did not clean the dishes, the rollers came off right away and now there is an error code that caused the dishwasher to stop completely. An overpriced, poor performing appliance. Do not buy.

Like many, I am the unfortunate owner of a Samsung microwave (model SMH9187ST) which is now not even 2 years old. It gives nothing but an SE code now, and since the warranty has expired, it will cost more to fix than replace. It was repaired once when under warranty but I should have known this lemon was going to break again. Before the SE code errors, it also had the baked potato function begin to work by itself. I have sent many complaints to Samsung and they finally said, We will file a repair claim, only to be told by the repair person it was out of my pocket charges. They refuse to stand by their product and I am out of luck. This is so very frustrating!

I wish I had read the reviews prior to purchasing. From day one the fridge did not work. I called samsung, they were going to get a repair guy out but the first available was 8 days away. It was new and it should work from day one. So I wrote a nasty letter to samsung. Then told homedepot that I was going to return it and find a company that valued my business. Well then Home Depot decided to replace it. My suggestion is to never buy a samsung product, their customer service dept is brutal.

I bought a house with Samsung appliances and and wish I had asked for new ones from a different brand. Pure junk. The stove burners didnt work properly, the oven heat varied all over the oven when baking. The fridge door drawers all cracked and cost too much to bother replacing. The door flap was broke and fridge didnt cool properly. Food spoiled. Now for the junk of a washer that would take half a day to do a load of wash because when it would go to the spin mode, it would unbalance and kick out only to take another twenty mins to finish or do it again and back to twenty mins again. I would recommend to not buy these from this company. They need to stick to cellphones. By the way, the house was seven years old and the dryer was a different make, assuming it died already. Costly replacing all of this because they make crap.

The Dishwasher requires a special water valve that ONLY Samsung sells separately. ie: You need a Samsung installer to deal with the issue since Home Depot, Lowes and local hardware stores have never seen this type of valve. The stove top blister after the first time. After a visit from their tech people they stated.... Thats the way it works and its normal. Like many others who have reviewed Samsung refrigerators, ours too leaves water and ice at the bottom of the unit. You have to get a rubber hammer sometimes to dislodge it. We have had the compressor fail, and the unit stills gets hot. We had to pay for all repairs as the warranty is worthless. The ice maker freezes up. I could go on and on. Dec 17 called samsung, asking status, board was not even ordered, so board is ordered. Put in a request for reimbursement for food loss. Dec 22, samsung calls to inform me that part is on backorder until Dec 29. They put in a request for food spoilage again, and replacement fridge. Come to find out on the 27, request not put in as I was told it would be, then again on the 27, 29, and Jan 3. As of today samsung informed me that the part is now in and they are not going to put in a request for the food loss, or replacement. All their customer representatives did for the month was blow smoke up my butt and lie to me about what they were going to do for this issue. We purchased a Samsung refrigerator in July 2006 with the extended 4-year warranty. In July of 2009, it stopped cooling and I called in for a service order that took six days to repair the sensor and fuse. The repairman said these go out all the time, not a good part. On Nov. 16, 2008, it went out again for the same part and I asked for a refund. I was told, No, just repair. The tech again said parts were being updated because of repeated problems. On June 19, 2012, it went out again. I called Lowes service advantage and they referred us to Samsung since this was the third time. We went through a number of associates. They told us that we would get full credit, but we had to produce the work repair orders and fax them to Samsung. After a week without a refrigerator and spoiled food, we received and faxed the invoices to Samsung as required. At this point, another supervisor told us that we were only going to receive $647.91 back in credit and that we had to remove the serial number and cut the cord along with a picture. They would email us the information to send back. Today has been another week without an email. My husband calls Samsung and now they are saying the refund was rejected. I believe that Samsung does not stand behind its word or products. This is unfair and deceptive practices. We are filing a compliant with our Better Business Bureau, the local consumer protection office and the attorney generals office.

This is the first and last time that I will purchase any products from Samsung. I purchased 4 appliances on April 14, 2019. I called because I needed repair to my range. I have made multiple calls and yet not resolved. First call agent did not speak English well, no help there! Second call agent muffled could not understand at all, however, provided her with the necessary documents and info including serial number etc. Waited 24 hours and no call from repair company. Called them and again needed to submit necessary documents/receipt since they did not have. (Mind you the range belongs to my 86 year old mother and of course with the current healthcare crisis needs a range). The third agent basically reprimanded me for not having the appropriate info on my receipt such as serial number. The Home Depot receipt does not have the serial number on the receipt but it does state the items that were purchased (Samsung Kitchen Package). Now I called HD to obtain a full invoice and of course I will not have for a couple days which may have the potential of falling out of warranty. You can guarantee that I will be calling the Department of Aging to file a complaint especially with the current situation that the US is currently in. One would think that providing the supporting documentation would be enough to schedule a repair. Now an 86 year old is left without a range (especially since she is self-sheltered) for God knows how long. I welcome a call!

I chose to upgrade my kitchen, new cabinets, flooring, ceiling, walls and appliances. Now, my old refrigerator was about 10 years old and I never had one issue with it, I just wanted everything to be stainless steel. I happened to go with the Samsung French door refrigerator because I liked the way it looked and that it was big enough to store a lot of food in the refrigerator, as well as the freezer. If I would have known that I would have half the issues I have with it, I would have never of purchased it. Why would I want to buy it if every other month, it has to be defrosted so much so that I have to store my food at someone elses house because the whole refrigerator/freezer/icemaker shuts down and takes 24 hours to get back to the right temperature. I have been a homeowner for over 18 years and I have never been more disappointed in an appliance as I am with this refrigerator. When you call the customer service number you get people who can barely speak English and those that can speak English are so hard to understand. After 5 years, we had to repair the water dispenser. At exactly, 5 years and 4 months, the freezer died, 1 week later, the refrigerator died. It is out of warranty and Samsung does not provide any support. In our county, there is no longer a Samsung certified repair shop. No one will even touch it. Samsung finally referred us to A&E factory service, more than 40 miles away. They came out to do the diagnostic today (2 weeks after the freezer failed). Approximately 14 months after purchasing a Samsung french door refrigerator (Model #RF28HMEDBSR) the ice maker froze up and stopped working. It had to be manually defrosted (frost and ice removed). This issue occurred every 2 to 3 weeks. We trusted Samsung and did not purchase an extended warranty. A call to the service center revealed that any cost for service provided would have to be paid for by myself. A research of this equipment failure revealed hundreds, if not thousands, of similar complaints and unresolved issues. I continued to manually defrost the ice maker but the issue remained. I purchased Samsungs top-of-the-line French-door Refrigerator Model no. RF4287HARS and dishwasher DMT800RHS from Lowes in November 2010. The dishwasher broke down within just a few weeks. It took 3 weeks to get parts, then a week later it broke again. Eleven months after purchase, the LCD panel started acting up on the fridge. Some icons no longer work, and the right side fridge door wont seal very well so items dont stay cold. After several frustrating calls to Lowes for service, I finally got a call from their authorized repair person who told me its not under warranty any more. We argued and I had to call Lowes again where I was assured it is under warranty still. I got another call from the service person telling me Samsung told them its not under warranty. And again, another call to Lowes where I am told its under warranty. The next day, I got a call from Lowes telling me that it was never registered as sold with Samsung so theyre using the manufacturing date for the 1-year warranty date. I had registered the appliances when I bought them but Lowes hadnt bothered to inform Samsung.A day or so later I got another call saying Samsung has now been informed of the sale date and that its under warranty. Now I cant get anybody to work on Samsung. Even their authorized repair centers say they wont work on Samsung appliances anymore because Samsung wont reimburse them for mileage for the numerous trips it takes to repair a Samsung product, extreme difficulty obtaining parts, and Samsung is an extremely slow payer. I talked to Samsung and asked if they would pay for the parts if I paid a service person and they refused. I offered to pay the service centers myself and they refused to even come look at it. I now have a $2,800 piece of junk and it looks like Im going to have to sue Samsung.

Googled a YouTube video by Joe ** where he showed step by step how to clean behind the panel. So far, so good. I just hope it holds.

Purchased full kitchen suite August 2016. The only unit we havent had to have repairs on is the range. The refrigerator is the worst of all. On our third repair the unit doesnt defrost properly which causes ice build up and the fan motor freezes. This in turn causes the unit to run at 50 degrees F. So not only are we several hundred into repairs were out several hundred in spoiled food. Appropriate that its Halloween cause the nightmare just wont stop.

Ive been so disappointed since I bought my Refrigerator at Lowes in 2011, paid over $1,000 and have had it serviced so many times. The ice bucket cracked, then the ice maker broke, it had a water leak. They had to remove the panel. It was FROZEN. Now, called again because I dont know if its the fan or motor, I hope my food doesnt go bad. Im upset because of all the problems I continue to have and have to get another service contract just so I can keep it as long as I can. The first refrigerator I had lasted 10 years and I didnt have as many service calls as I do with this Samsung. I dont think I will be buying another Samsung refrigerator again. Too many problems!!

I purchased this microwave (M/W) Microwave Model SMH9187ST/XAA a little over three years ago. First, after a few months of use the turntable stopped working. I could fix it myself with not much expense. Thanks to Youtube. Then after a few months the handle broke. By this time the M/W was over one year old. So, I called the customer service. Since it was already a few weeks over one year, they refused to take care of it. I then fixed it myself. The next was the Touch Panel which stopped working. I called Samsung Tech support who again refused to take care of the problem. So, I purchased the Touch Panel and fixed it again. Now the inside light stays on 24/7 and fan comes on the moment door is closed. Only way to stop it from running is unplug every time I am done using the M/W. Again, I called Samsung. As at least some of you have experienced, it takes minimum 30 minutes for someone to pick up your phone. Again, they refused to take care of the problem and said a service tech would call me to set up an appointment at my cost. Since then I called over 7 times in the past two weeks (I kept a log), nobody called back. Finally after a testy conversation, I asked them to give me their service techs number and I called them myself to set up an appointment. Now waiting for the service tech to show up and give me the dreaded figure for repair or pay the service charge. Will NEVER buy Samsung appliance again. BTW: My Stainless Steel Fridge which I bought at the same time also started giving problems after a year, no solutions from Samsung on that too.

I purchased the Samsung dishwasher model DMR78AHS at Lowes in May 2010. Also, I reluctantly bought the extended warranty program, but in hindsight, Im glad I did. After about a year, we started hearing a slight grinding noise. I called service and they determined that all (12) of the plastic basket clips had broken off and lodged in the motor (impeller). The service tech had to disconnect the unit, pull it out, and turn it over to remove all of the plastic tabs. Luckily, the impeller was not damaged. The tech said that this is a very common problem with Samsung dishwashers. He installed new basket clips, supposedly made out of stronger plastic, but I seriously doubt it. I am very disappointed in Samsung kitchen appliances and will not purchase from them again.

Our 2-yr old RF197 has failed 4 times. At the first failure, at the one year point of ownership (the minute the warranty expired) and after a lot of time spent badgering Samsung, they agreed to pay for fixing the ice-backing up on the interior back, and stopping the water collecting on the fridge floor. But the repair didnt work. Again back to badgering Samsung - a terrible, terrible company. I hear there is a class action lawsuit; we plan to get in on that now. Also our atty. is pressing Samsung corporate starting today. Outrageous, because it has broken again! We paid $1300 for this junk in 2011! Recently, we arranged with them to receive a prorated refund to discard/return to them this lemon. They agreed. Yesterday, a new, very rude, sweet-voiced stumbling employee in the exec office, reading off a sheet that had nothing to do with this case said, Not approved even though we have sent the receipt properly and were told (and it is recorded on our ans. machine) that they were in the process of arranging the refund. Avoid this company! We plan - and please all of you do the same - to report to BBB and to our state Attorney General Dept of Consumer Affairs. This could be rampant fraud by Samsung and needs to be investigated. Tell everyone you know, to exert widespread political pressure. When in the store, tell others looking to buy to avoid Samsung. Check your state: many states require a better warranty than that granted by Samsungs warranty and you may have more rights than that limited Samsung warranty. Best of luck to everyone. What a racket. Our previous 2 refrigerators lasted 25 years with not one repair! We will post what we find out.

What a huge disappointment with my less than 3 year old Samsung Fridge!!! And their aftercare service! As soon as I bought this refrigerator, Model # RF24FSEDBSR/AA which costed me $3,400 started having a problem within a week from the installation. Samsung sent me 2 different the 3rd party vendors to fix the problem since the 1st one couldnt. These two 3rd party vendors moved around my refrigerator in order to take a look at the back at that time. For last 5-6 months my fridge stopped cooling and it was accumulating ice in the back panel along with lots water dripping on the wall panel. Foods were easily molding and spoiled. When I called Samsung, they stated its because the refrigerator is not leveled and eventually its ruined fan functions. My refrigerator stayed exactly how the Samsung repairman left little less than 3 years ago with the wheels touch ground which was causing unleveling and eventual ruining the fridge completely. Samsung was showing no apology nor remedy whatsoever since the warranty time is over. They were asking me to talk to the vendor who left the refrigerator unleveled even though Samsung is the one who hired those vendors 3 years ago. Extremely disappointed with Samsung product and their service. Never buying Samsung products again. Definitely I will let other people to hear my voice every chance I get.

I purchased my refrigerator on the 16-7-13 model SR690GDLS, 7 months later there was a bubble in the door underneath the water dispenser. The whole door was replaced on the 1-4-17 and the top drip tray part that was faulty in its design as it had holes in it so the water would drip into the bottom tray. This was replaced with one that did not have any holes in it so the water could not go in to the bottom tray. I was told that this would fix the problem. Then after 3 months the plastic around the glass started to crack. I had them replaced on the 4-8-14. Samsung rang me a few days later and said they were extremely sorry for all the trouble and sent me two movie tickets. Two weeks later I notice another bubble on the new door. I rang Samsung again, they sent another door out and another top drip tray with no holes and replaced them on the 9-9-14 only 5 months since the last door was fitted. I suggested to the repairman that the underneath tray may be the faulty one as it was not replaced last time and that the same thing has happened again and that may be the problem and could he please replace that part also. He said that I would have to ring Samsung and order it so I rang Samsung while he was finishing off and they asked to speak to him. He told them that it wasnt faulty and that he replaced what was sent. I then explained the situation again to Samsung and said that that was his opinion. But my opinion is that it must be faulty as it is the only part that has not been replaced and I have had the same problem and do not want it to happen again. She said she would order the part and call me back. 30mins later she called and said they did not think that the part is faulty and that if I ask them to send it out, I have to pay for it. As you can see I am not happy with this situation and the problem is not fixed as I do not have a guarantee that it will not happen again.

Samsung customer service is equally crappy. Its worse than dealing with a government office! I wish I had my old, portable, hook-up-to-the-faucet dishwasher back! It was 10 times better than any of the new, name-brand, expensive dishwashers out there now! Unfortunately we gave that one away. Samsung induction electric range model #NE599N1PBSR - almost immediately this stove top was causing grief. Purchased in Spring 2014 before summer I had placed a call to Samsung to report the problems. I was appeased by the customer service person who declared it was my pots. I had purchased very expensive induction pots and the problem still persisted. I had induction pots as soon as I bought the appliance. I thought they might be inferior. It has continued for 2 years with no solution. Samsung has no record of my problem. Over a month ago Samsungs repair person came to investigate - has been 6 weeks, no callback, I have placed 3 subsequent calls, no callback. I spoke with Samsung today... they have no record, and cant do a thing, they will NOT honor warranty even tho the first complaint was lodged before the expiry of the warranty - once again they have no record of that call. Shame on Samsung. Elements wont work, oven shots off, at best I can use 2 elements at one time. I bought 4 Samsung appliances that day and already had the dishwasher serviced also. Such a waste of money!

Our 5 yr. old Samsung French door fridge has wasted about 300 dollars worth
Our 5 yr. old Samsung French door fridge has wasted about 300 dollars worth of food. The first repairman from A&E recharged the freon and ordered some parts. One of the parts was a new compressor, which they ship to the house and install at a later date. We request with Samsungs guy in India to make sure we get the same guy to install the new compressor. (You cannot talk to A&E directly.) Some other guy shows up (had to miss another days work to accommodate their service, 250 bucks down the drain again.) This new guy takes the inside fridge panel off and says the upper evaporator coil is leaking because Samsung put too many zip ties holding it in. He snips off the zip ties, then he claims the compressor wasnt needed and the first guy who came should have known they were not authorized by Samsung to do any repairs. He leaves...... now Im dead in the water. I call Samsung office of the president (yeah right) they set me up with another repair tech. I yelp the new repair service and they have the worst reputation in the book. Soooooooo I call back the Samsung prezzizz office in Jersey and request they authorize the original repair techs from A &E to return. The freezer just went warm again. We are giving away food to friends. It is Thursday the new repair appt. is this Monday. Another day off work and probably a re-diagnose and subsequent appt. while they wait for parts. SMART FRIDGE MY A.. Samsung scam to buy a new fridge maybe. This is what over 2000 dollars gets you nowadays. Sad part is I hear even high end fridges have multiple problems too.

Am happy to be accurate and fair but why isnt same required of company? I owe it to everyone to advise that the Samsung refrigerator is a very poor investment. This refrigerator purchase was part of my kitchen remodel and after just 7 months it has flooded my kitchen floor. Their response when called for service - we can be there in a week. So think twice try any other brand - I have a Kenmore in my barn purchased new 15 years ago that still works and always has - not pretty or stylish but functions.Great difficulty discussing with tel reps due to poor language skills, fairness by a company that was paid on the spot for a product only in use 7 months that does not work as intended is not waiting a 4 days for service. If I had not paid immediately, it would have never been delivered or it would have been removed from my home immediately or I would have received a court action - most likely immediately. Whats fair about that? Whats fair about a refrigerator costing $3000.00 that breaks in 7 months? Whats honest about a refrigerator that makes the promise of quality, etc., that breaks in 7 months?

We purchased our Samsung dishwasher just over a year ago from Home Depot. It has proven to be our worst purchase ever. It does not only NOT clean our dishes, it actually leaves our glasses dirtier than when they went in... Our dishwasher didnt clean very well, we often had to redo dishes. At about 11 months after we bought it, it stopped working altogether. It was still under warranty, but we had also purchased an extended warranty. We called Samsung, they referred us to an authorized repair shop. We contacted them, a guy came out and said it was a broken drain motor. He said its a common problem in Samsung dishwashers. He said hed order the part and let us know when it comes in. He expected it to take 1-2 weeks. After 2 weeks without hearing from him, we contacted his shop. They said the parts had not arrived, well call you when they do. Another 2 weeks go by and we havent heard from them so we called them again and asked why its been a month already and we still have no dishwasher. We were told the technician would call us back. After another week, we had not heard from the technician so we contacted Samsung. Samsung said theyd check into it and call us back but after 2 more weeks, we hadnt heard from them. We then contacted Samsung via online complaint and were told there was never a ticket generated. We did a live chat, gave them the info we had, whom we had talked to about the parts etc. They had no record of it. I have a 3-page transcript of the conversation. We sent another copy of our purchase agreement (we had done this the first time) and heard from them 2 days later. They told us we were out of warranty and had to talk with the extended warranty people. This is after we had reported the problem while we were still under warranty (When we called the first time, they (Samsung) looked it up, told us we were still under warranty and thats when they gave us the info on the authorized technician shop to contact). They told us we have to contact the extended warranty company, which we did. They submitted for payment from Samsung so we could get the drain motor, and the drain hose. Samsung refused to pay for the drain hose part or labor. They said theyd pay for the motor but not the hose. They told us that we have to pay for and install the hose ourselves. They consider the hose a consumer installed part. This is a built in, under counter dishwasher. We tried to explain that it makes no sense since the drain hose is connected to the drain motor. If the hose does not drain properly, it could be the cause of the motor failure. Besides that, if we mess with putting the hose on and the motor fails again, they could come back at us to say we didnt install the hose correctly, therefore another fix of the motor wouldnt be covered under the warranty. We are quite frustrated at this point and dont know where to turn or what to do next.

Samsung has eye-catching features on their refrigerators HOWEVER as the saying goes Just because it glitters does not mean its gold! In other words JUST BECAUSE IT LOOKS FANCY DOES NOT MEAN IT WILL WORK LIKE IT SHOULD! I purchased a Samsung (Model#: RF28HFEDTBC - bottom freezer) four (4) years ago (9/2014) with a 3yr warranty. I paid over $1800 ON SALE! Now the ice is building up in the fridge ice maker and in the back unit. A technician from the Network Group technicians came out to check why my fridge was not cooling like it should. The tech told me that the ice maker has a replacement unit and this is why the fridge back panel has iced up. He said that the issue with the ice maker NOT working properly is causing the other issues. That sounds like a defective part to me! REFRIGERATORS LIFE EXPECTANCY IS MINIMUM 14yrs!He recommended that I keep the top ice maker off and only use the freezer ice maker or this will probably happen again. The technician also recommended that if I did not want to pay the $300.00 for the ice maker replacement, $150.00 for the back panel defrost/replacement of the fan, $80.00 for labor, that I could just pay the $80.00 for his 10-minute visit and unplug the fridge for minimum 3-5 days to allow it to defrost myself. I have been without a fridge for a week now trying to make sure the ice has fully defrosted. My cooler with bags of ice is keeping my food colder than that SAMSUNG! Maybe I should have got a mini fridge and an ice chest! Anything would have been better than this SAMSUNG refrigerator! I will NEVER buy a SAMSUNG product again.

My Samsung refrigerator is less than two years old and the ice maker doesnt work. We have done all the recommended fixes several times. Both Best Buy and Samsung will not do anything to help. Reliable appliance repairmen wont work on Samsung appliances and say they cant even get parts. Also the interior design isnt very good. We wanted an additional oven to supplement our regular oven; this Samsung fit the bill because it's a convection oven that can roast and even grill meats such as chicken that can sometimes be hard to cook thoroughly without the meat becoming too dry or tough. At 1.1 cu ft it might be a tight fit for Perdue Oven Stuffer chicken or anything larger, otherwise it does its job well. Our microwave is 1700 watts, more than enough for any task from soup to popcorn to roasts, and we saw that Lowe's has our oven, model MC11K7035CG, currently on sale for $299 as of July 3.

I spent about $75 for a new board thinking that it would be good for another ten years however, it only last another two months. Therefore I just bought a new one that looked exactly the same. I had the old one recycled. The new convection oven works much better than the old one. It moves the air in a much better way to more evenly cook whatever is in the oven. This new Samsung seems easier to clean and keep clean as well. I really appreciate that I can still find the same looking model type many years later.
