Dont buy Samsung Ranges. I brought the chef collection 30 last year and within two months had to exchange it for another. After four technicians later and new computer boards, they finally replaced it with a new one. The range would go on by itself and the only way to shut it off was the main switch in the basement. So far so good until one day I was making a sandwich for lunch and heard this loud cracking. I didnt know where it was coming from so that night when I started dinner I realized it was the cooktop that cracked. I wasnt using it, the range was off. This is most bizarre. How can this happen? Well I looked up on this consumer site and apparently Im not the first person. So theres got to be a defect right? Maybe a recall is in order. When I called Samsung they said they would extend my warranty but I needed a tech to come out to make sure it wasnt caused by physical damage. Okay a tech came out and clearly wrote that it was not caused by physical damage and reported that to Samsung. I called them to see what happens next and they claim I need a second opinion and more pictures. They forwarded more pics and Samsung said it was caused by physical damage and I wasnt covered by the warranty. I asked a customer relations person who can I talk to that can help me. She said an executive customer service person, but they only have outgoing calls, you will have to wait until they call you. That person called me today and left a message and told me according to the pictures it was physical damage. So I guess they are calling me a liar. Im not done with them yet, but they are the lowest of the low companies that screw people right and left. Their customer service is full of abrasive people that will not help me. They only have outgoing calls. What in the hell is that? Ive had two of their ranges in 15 months and Im sorry I ever bought one. Terrible company. I bought this item at Best Buy 8/17/2015.

We bought a Samsung refrigerator from Lowes when we moved in March this year. Three weeks ago, the freezer compartment broke down. Samsung’s customer service said that they would send someone to repair it. Two days later, the maintenance staff came to check and said the parts were defective. It took another week or so to fix it. However, the whole refrigerator stopped working the next day, which was last Friday. Everything we bought went bad! The worst thing was to call Samsungs customer service. I waited online for three hours and finally got connected. They told me that they will call me back within 24 hours. Yesterday was Tuesday, there was still no calling back. Finally, I called them again, and was told the calling back time was 72 hours now! It is Wednesday today, and the person in charge has not been contacted yet. There are elderly and children in my house, and our daily meal becomes a difficult, especially in this COVID-19 pandemic. We cant eat out a lot. We have to go to groceries every single day to buy the food for that day! We are taking a great risk! In general, Samsungs refrigerator had a quality issue- it stopped working in only four months, and the after-sales service was even worse! Its really disappointing! I will try my best to aware more people!

I had the vent fan working on my microwave (which is an above range microwave) because I had a stew pot cooking on the range. Supposedly this will help keep condensation down. When I went to check my pot on the range the fan on the microwave had quit and I was getting a code 5 E on the display. I have since learned code 5 E means the keyboard on the microwave has quit due to condensation in the wiring of the microwave. My question to Samsung is...why didnt you take care of this problem before selling me an above range microwave? Did you think through the problem of condensation? Very disappointed in SAMSUNG.

Refrigerator mod # RF28HMEDBBC/AA - From the first day of having ice, it took FOREVER to get a glass of ice out of it. I called customer service after 2 weeks of use and had them listen to the ice come out and how long it took and she said oh that is normal. The ice comes out in a half crushed half cubed form and I told her THAT is not normal. After trying to convince her that I was over 70 years old and have had ice maker the last 40 years and I know how they are supposed to work and this one sucks and I got extremely frustrated with her I hung up. 4 month later I called back in because the ice maker was freezing up on the inside and outside. They sent a repairman out that totally blew off the first appointment and the second appointment but showed up for the third one but didnt have the parts needed and had to order them. Showed up with those parts, replaced them. After a week it started freezing again. I called back in and they replaced the internals again and two weeks later it froze again and they replaced it again with an upgrade of gaskets on the ice maker along with the internals of the ice maker again. It took almost 36 hours to fill the ice maker and it still comes out half crushed and half cubed. Yikes. It has made a loud noise since we have had it and all of them say this is NORMAL!!! REALLY. The refrigerator part has worked great. The shelving totally sucks for placement of items. NOTHING fits anywhere. Would I buy another one? Not only no but hell no!!! Freezer part is great and no complaints with it. I certainly hope this helps anyone looking to purchase a Samsung French door refrigerator.

We redid our kitchen in August 2012 and purchased three Samsung products - a stove, a refrigerator and a dishwasher. This review is about the dishwasher. Ive already submitted a review about our stove. We purchased our Samsung dishwasher, Model #DMT 300RFS/XAA in August 2012 for $515. Our first repair was on 22 Jan 2014, the float level sensor had to be replaced, and the cost was $208.21.The next problem happened on 6 May 2015. The case sensor and brake have to be replaced and the cost will be $316.24. If we have this repair done, and we wont, this substandard appliance will have cost us $515 (original cost) + $524.45 (2 x repairs) = $1039.45. Note: the repairs alone total more than the cost of the dishwasher. Weve now got a 225 lb. paperweight in our kitchen.

I bought a full appliance set from electronic express here in Nashville. I bought refrigerator, range, dishwasher and over the range microwave. I spent about $5,0000.00. The microwave right after working one year it just quit working. I called Samsung they sent a tech and he fixed it. After 3 months the dishwasher never clean right. We started cleaning the dishes before we put them in the dishwasher, but finally it quit working - even the dishwasher detergent was left on the dish. I called Samsung and they said it is over a year and warranty expired. So I am out of luck. So I am planning to buy Whirlpool dishwasher since that was the old one I had which worked for over 9 years without a problem. I replaced it because my wife want a stainless steel set of appliance. I am disappointed at Samsung - such a big company makes a good cell phone and tablet like Galaxy S4, Galaxy Note, make a bad dishwasher. Why do not let them stay away from this business and let Whirlpool do the appliance. I will never buy Samsung appliance at all...

I own a Samsung-31.6 Cu. ft. French Door Refrigerator with thru the door ice and water dispenser. It also has a bottom ice maker in the freezer. The bottom ice maker is the problem. We had trouble with it from the start. Read owners manual, reset it. Worked for a while then quit totally. Had repairman from Samsung replace ice maker, worked for awhile then stopped again. Samsung sent repair man again, replaced computer board in back. Worked long enough for warranty to expire. Now in a battle with Samsung for repair, getting runaround.

After 3 years, the Ice machine flapper broke displacing water all over my wooden floor. I called several places for repair and they all did the same thing when I said I had a Samsung, that was to list off many, many things that go wrong with it. It will cost me over $500 to fix a 3 year old refrigerator. I dont want to spend that much money, when I could have a new fridge for $1500.I called Samsung, not to get anything for free but just to ask if they would give me a discount to buy to fridge. Anything to show customer service on a 3 year old fridge. They basically said they wouldnt, they didnt care if I badmouth them, didnt care if I took to social media. They plain didnt give a **. Ill do my best to get the word out there. I will never buy another Samsung product ever again. Buyer beware.

I had a very bad experience with all of my home appliances. All Samsung especially, fridge and washing machine. I bought all my new house appliances from Samsung just only a year ago and now the washer and fridge are completely broken. Samsung customer service sent to my house a technician who came to fix it 4 times. Each time he said I have to change a certain part of washing machine. He has replaced everything in washer (board - hose - door assembly - filters) and finally he said, It’s manufacturing problem and you have to ask Samsung customer service to replace it or compensate you, but now and after 2 months of suffering with them, they refused and they want to try again to fix it. The customer service said, This is our policy to try many times. I can’t believe myself. It is a bad system for bad company. I do not advise anyone to deal with this deceptive company.

As soon as the warranty was up, one year, we began to get water and ice under the pantry drawer. Now the twin cooling fans have stopped working and therefore not cooling. The fridge is in a sleeve, walls on both sides, so we can’t get to the back of it to clean the coils, etc. It is too heavy for us to pull out. No repairman is willing to try and fix it sighting they are unable to get parts for Samsung fridges! These refrigerators are not cheap and Samsung seems to wash their hands of the problem. I will never recommend Samsung to anyone. They do not stand behind their product.

If a 0 was available for rating I would rate Samsung with a 0... Never again will they have my business. I purchased my Range glasstop NE59J3420SS at Home Depot on April 2016. Not even a week I was cooking and heard a loud pop noise and removed my pot and saw that the glass was cracked. I immediately called Samsung and the conversation started nicely and was under the impression that they would fix it since the agent told me they would. I send pictures of the damage and of receipt of purchase. They told me they would call me... Never received a call from them. So I called a week later to see what was going on and they had closed my case because no pictures were received they said, which is bs. New agent created a new case number and had to resent everything. She said I had to wait for 3 days and they would call me with an appt sent up for a technician to come and look at it. Again never received a call so called them... They gave me the appt for the technician to come and thought he was gonna fix it. Instead he left with no answers to my questions so called Samsung back and they kept saying they would fix it. Waited and waited and waited and nothing from them. Called again to see what was going on and said again they would send a new technician to look at it. Dont know why. They already seen pictures. But the new technician that came was checking our oven which our oven was working and told him it was the cracked top not the oven and again left with no answers. I called them and said they would call me back. Again they never did. After weeks of waiting for their call I called them back and said it was physical damage and would not be covered. Wtf... Not even a ** week with it and still fully under warranty and they wouldnt fix it. This company is really a ** joke. I was calling them constantly for over 5 months to get this fixed for them to tell me at last that they would not fix it. Very disappointed and frustrated process to go thru with this company. Never ever again will be buying from them. And to make it worst Im still paying Home Depot for this???? PLEASE BE AWARE!!!

Today Im looking for a new fridge and hoping they will take this p. o. s. in on trade because I know I wont get close to the price I paid if I sell it outright. It is not worth the stress to hang onto it. Never been so disappointed with a fridge. I cannot clean the outside water stains. The repairman said theres a product that will work but didnt know the name of it. The door seal is so thin that it had a worn spot. He didnt recommend replacing that. Its only 3 years old. UPDATED: 3/31/2021: I purchased a condo 8/8/2020 in Pasadena that had been remodeled by the seller with brand new Samsung appliances all purchased 1/30/20. Delivered 2/01/2020. I called Samsung warranty Nov and Dec 2020 about the ice maker making horrible noises. They told me I was under warranty and that the ice maker had been recalled for RF24R7201SR/AA, payment of 1979.99 from Best Buy with receipts in hand. It took Samsung three service visits, months later to not be able to remedy the extreme noises while replacing the entire ice dispenser. They then informed me that now I was out of warranty and they would only offer me 1800.00 and for me to remove my warranty sticker to send to them. They informed me that Best Buy would now not swap the unit out because I was a few months off warranty but I was under warranty when I called and it was first serviced with this issue. I then reached a gentleman at Samsung March 25th at 10:05 am, call was recorded, and I was told that they changed their minds and that they have these refrigerators on hand through Samsung despite Best Buy not being able to help me. I asked him if he was sure because the previous calls insisted on sending me money for a devalued amount at 1800.00. He assured me that the call was sincere. I then called back 3/29/2020 and of course was told that that deal didnt exist for me and again only to take the 1800.00 offer. Calling them is like calling another planet of incompetent employees who hardly speak English at all and have no clue whats really going on. It is the worst company that I have ever dealt with in my life and my whole home is filled with Samsung appliances. Soon to be replaced with LGs when these stop working because Samsung has horrible customer service and treat their high paying clients like garbage.ORIGINAL REVIEW: The worst experience ever! Calling Samsung’s 800 number for warranty issues is like calling another planet of people so unqualified and unhelpful. I purchased a 2500 refrigerator 1/2020. Delivered by Best Buy in 2/12/2020 and the ice maker was making horrible sounds 9/2020, 10/2020, 11/2020. I called while it was under warranty and they promised I caught it in time. After they attempted to resolve the issue and couldn’t we entered into 2021 year and they changed their minds telling me they could no longer swap it out with Best Buy because it was out of the year 2020 timeframe. Despite telling me while I called in 2020 that I was protected as long as I presented the purchased receipts that I did! They are only offering me a low prorated amount of 1800 and to remove the warranty sticker. That’s just insane customer service when my whole home has Samsung products. I can’t even believe this company and I will never buy another Samsung again.

We paid top dollar for a Samsung dishwasher. I could not understand why it did not clean as well as my one that I got rid of that was over 15 years. It is old. I finally figured it out. You have to clean the dishes first before you put them in the dishwasher, new concept for a dishwasher. If you just scrape them off, in about a year you will have to replace the CASE Brake Assembly because particles get into it and you cant clean it out, as you once could in the older ones. The part is at least $80.00 not including labor. I have always heard you get what you paid for, not so with this, It is junk. Dont waste your money.

I have had my Samsung refrigerator for about six months. I awoke on Christmas morning (I have the entire family over for Christmas lunch and dinner) to find my refrigerator was dead. The entire contents were warm to the touch, so it must have been off for some time before I noticed it. I was forced to throw away hundreds of dollars worth of food. No one is open on Christmas. I had a house filled with hungry people and a refrigerator filled with rotten seafood. The only place we could find to eat was a Chinese restaurant (it was like a bad rerun of the movie a “Christmas Story”) till it was all said and done I ended up paying almost $400 at the restaurant. I called Samsung and they said they would send a repairman over but not for two weeks. I take off work the day of the appointment (I work second shift and the repair shop would only give me an 8-5 window); the guy never shows. When I contact the repair shop they apologize and then tell me he wasnt coming to fix it, he was only going to look at it and that he would have to order parts. Once the parts came I would have to schedule another appointment to have it fixed. I explain I can’t keep taking off work and the woman on the phone assures me that she can get a repairman to make me his first stop of the day. On the day of the appointment I waited all morning and finally had to leave for work just before 2:00. The repairman calls me at 2:30 and gives me an attitude for not being there. At this point I call Samsung again asking for another repair company. I am informed this company is the least busy and if I get another company it will take even longer. I made another appointment and wait all morning and you guessed it, the repairman shows up again after I have already left. At this point I am furious. I call Sears, the place where I purchased it, and they send a guy out that same week. It ends up being an entire board that is dead (part # da41-00404e). The repairman tells me it would take him 5 minutes to fix it but Samsung does not let them keep parts on hand, they have to be ordered. More waiting. I had an appointment today and the repairman replaced the board and also found a fan that was bad (couldnt tell it was bad until the board was replaced). To add injury to insult the fan also had to be ordered but it was back-ordered. That coupled with having to make another appointment once the part gets here means I won’t have a fridge until the middle to end of next month! I have a child that lives here part-time who has special needs. I have medicines that need to be refrigerated as well as very expensive formulas. I have been keeping them at the neighbor down the street house but this is very difficult to say the least especially when it comes to feedings in the middle of the night.

Do not ever buy a Samsung appliance. Their customer service is terrible and their dishwasher works about 50% of the time. We are a household of 4 who use the dishwasher (model # DW80F600UTS/AA) once a day and load it sparingly, correctly, and with little soap. We have had a service person here 4 times since we bought it 7 months ago with an added extended warranty and they say they cannot correct the problem which is that the soap dispenser fails to open sometimes and other times opens but does not dispense the soap and other times works fine. They put in a new pump but that did not solve it. We have contacted Best Buy where we bought it. They turn us over to the appliance service they contract with. The appliance service says they cant do anything more. They turn us over to Samsung who says run it with no dishes in it and if it fails to open and dispense soap call us. But, we say, the problem exists 50% of the time, not 100%. Since we are still under factory one year warranty before the extended warranty kicks in, Samsung will charge us if they come out and cant locate a problem. We have spent hours and hours and hours on this. Would any of them be content with an appliance that fails to perform half the time?! I would also say that I will not buy anything else from Best Buy because they do not stand behind what they sell as soon as you are out the door, extended warranty or not. $801 spent on something that doesnt work right and they wont fix or replace.

I would never recommend Samsung. The customer service is awful. I recently purchased a new fridge and range, I have had the repair company to my house 3 times and the appliances are less than 3 months old. The flat top had a white mark inside the glass after 1 month, they replaced the cook top and 1 month later the new top has the same mark on it. They are supposed to come again for the second time, but are not returning my phone calls, I have spend many hours altogether on hold, to have them say they would call me back in 48 hrs. Still no phone calls back. This has been going on for over a month. VERY BAD SERVICE... BEWARE BEFORE YOU BUY A SAMSUNG APPLIANCE.

I purchased my microwave less than a year and a half ago. I purchased same type for my daughter. Her microwave stopped heating within a couple months and because it was still under warranty it was fixed. My microwave because I didn’t buy the extended warranty is out of luck. I really thought it should last minimum of 3 years if not more.

We built a house in 2016. Went with the Samsung new black stainless steel appliances. We have had nothing but problems with the Refrigerator model# RF260BEAESR. The door clips keep breaking, you can’t get in and out of the freezer part and the MOST frustrating is the ICE MAKER! I have spent no less than 15 hrs trying to fix it. It was out of warranty two weeks and got nothing from Samsung. I am going to share something I have learned: Always ask how much the extended warranty is, if it’s almost half as much as the original cost of the thing you are purchasing STAY AWAY!!! I figured this out after having bought 3 dishwashers and two refrigerators. Case in point current refrigerator (Samsung french door) warranty was $756.00 I paid $1,600.00 for it new and have had nothing but problems. Oven was $350 for warranty new it was $1,700. We have had 0 problems with it. Microhood $35.00 new $350.00 0 problems... I strongly recommend you stay away from Samsung appliances. They make a great TV maybe phone but thats it.

I have Samsung side-by-side refrigerator model RS267LASH/XAA bought in March 4th, 2006. A few days ago, its fridge side stopped cooling and all the food inside went bad. Now the fan on the fridge side is noisy. The noise stops as soon as I open the fridge side door. There is no cooling on the fridge side. When I investigated this issue, it seems like this is a very common issue with Samsung refrigerators. This is a just a six years old refrigerator and I always clean it every month. Never in my life had I any problems with the refrigerators I used. I have found out that Samsung people know about this problem, but they wont fix it. I have to pay for it as the warranty is over.

Bought a Samsung refrigerator in 2009 at Lowes. About 2 years after purchasing the refrigerator I started having issues with water leaking inside, freezing up, stripping around freezer peeling off, ice and water maker not working, AND the refrigerator is rusting around door ice and water dispenser and around edges of doors. I have called Samsung numerous times to send someone to look at the refrigerator and see how much rust is on it. This refrigerator is in my home. They will send someone to look at it but I have to pay for it. They do not stand behind their products. This is the Worst appliance I have ever bought.

SAMSUNG ELECTRONICS CANADA, INC. denies warranty for dishwasher Model: DW80F600UTS/AC. I purchased SAMSUNG dishwasher Model: DW80F600UTS/AC on December 20, 2013. On September 01, 2014, just after installation, I found problem with left door hinge pin. Door jumps from this pin in fully open position. I made first call to SAMSUNG ELECTRONICS CANADA, INC. On September 02, 2014 and service ticket was initiated. Technician from SAMSUNGs authorized service center visit my home for inspection on September 04, 2014. He discovered that the problem not repairable and caused by a manufacture assembly defect. After this visit I made numbers of phone calls to SAMSUNG ELECTRONICS CANADA, INC. to check the status of my claim. As result of these conversations SAMSUNG ELECTRONICS CANADA, INC. issued other ticket and service order. Finally I received a email from SAMSUNG ELECTRONICS CANADA, INC. and representative tell me that my case will not covered by SAMSUNG DISHWASHER LIMITED WARRANTY TO ORIGINAL PURCHASER ...Please be advised that our engineers have determined and confirmed that this is due to a physical damage that absolutely not covered under warranty. I purchased my Samsung and the extended warranty. Ive had Sears out here 4 times and they called Samsung. The Sear service tech called Samsung and the rep at Samsung said since its a high volume ice producing unit and the ice sometimes shatters. WTF!!! It produced great ice cubes for the first year! I then called Samsung and talk with management. They have agreed to send a tech from Samsung to have a look at no charge. To call this refrigerator a lemon, Sears has to send out a tech out 4 times and order new parts 4 times, so thats 8 visits! Im now waiting for visit # 5 and need to order parts two more times to get rid of this lemon.Im so pissed off at Sears for wasting my time and making me go through a painful process to solve my issue. Dont buy anything from Samsung, because its junk! I had to replace Samsung Dishwasher after 3 years. Also, read the fine print on the warranty. Im winning this war and next time they come back, I will say order some parts until I hit their quota. By that time I will have cost them close to $1500 in service calls. I would recommend extended warranty on every dishwasher and refrigerator you buy. I replaced the piece of crap Samsung dishwasher with a Bosch and love it and I purchased a 5-year service agreement.

Purchased a whole house full of new Samsung top of the line appliances Dec 2017. I’ll keep this review for the refrigerator only. The Smart Hub apps do. It work half the time and you have to keep signing in to them. The ring door bell as well doesn’t work because it will log you. My main people is with the ice maker. It broke the first month and for the next 4 months after I had it either repaired or the ice maker replaced numerous times. They finally just replaced the refrigerator. The new replacement the ice maker froze up and quit working 12 months later. The ice dispenser is junk because the crushed ice is so slow and will drop large chunk a out as well. This was a major mistake to go with Samsung.

Bought brand new range, fridge, dishwasher and microwave. After installing range we found that the broiler and stove igniters failed to turn off long after the flame was ignited. Waited 5min then shut the stove off becase the igniters would not shut off. Samsung refused to send anyone out to fix it or send out another to replace it. Be very careful buying anything from this company.

There arent enough characters allowed to explain why I would never buy anything Samsung ever again! The latest in a long nightmare of disgust (after the Blu-ray player that scratched circles in our discs and ruined them), is the fridge (RFG297HDRS) that decided to turn itself into a waterfall water feature in our kitchen overnight. Water was streaming rapidly from the ice maker exactly 15 months after purchase. Fortunately (well, maybe not) we got a store extended warranty because, Samsung itself told us good luck and Godspeed. The authorized Samsung repair people from the warranty company changed the ice maker and left. Two hours later and after business hours, the thing started leaking again (not as bad, but pretty bad once it started). Unrelated to Samsung, the morons at Warrantech wont let you put in a new call for service for 24 hours. Insult added to the injury of this regrettable purchase (all electronics and appliances in our new home are Samsung - I loved their monitors from 10 years ago, but that was when they were scrappy upstarts, not bloated Chinese wannabes), lesson learned. My advice is, avoid these and any store-branded warranty, since youll need it and both are total trash!

We purchased a Samsung Refrigerator that failed to cool less than 1 year after the purchase date. After calling Samsung customer service it took three repair companies to finally tell us that they could not work on the product because of a lack of training on closed system refrigerators; these vendors were provided by Samsung. After numerous phone calls to the Samsung Customer Service Department, I realized that nearly each time I was talking to representatives in several different locations to include the Philippines, the Virgin Islands and South Carolina. Eventually after my persistence and threats, Samsung arranged for me to return the refrigerator to the store I purchased it from. This happened nearly two weeks after we purchased another brand.Lastly, we were promised a maximum of $ 200.00 compensation for the nearly $ 600.00 of food that was spoiled. We were required to provide items and the price. We ended up emailing this information at least 7 times to their Executive Customers Service Department and have yet to receive reimbursement. It has been 64 days since we the unit became inoperable and numerous promises were made! To date, we have not been reimbursed!! We will NEVER buy or recommend SAMSUNG again!!!

Our 2 year old Samsung refrigerator went out a week ago. After spending several hours on chat with Samsung and 1-1/2 hours on hold I was given a service company in our Des Moines market of 500K people (they have only one). I called them and was told it would be 2 weeks before they can get there. So I called around Des Mioines to get someone to fix the unit and no one would service a Samsung. I called Lowes where I bought the unit and they were able to have someone out in two days. The evaporator had gone bad so it is under the 5 year warranty but we are now waiting 10 more days to get someone out to install it. Beware of Samsung customer service and response time when you consider a purchase.

Ice maker never worked properly (leaked, jammed, made inadequate ice when it did work). Since I had another refrigerator, I decided to take out the ice maker to make more room in the freezer. Did so (after great effort--badly designed drawers for removal). Refrigerator wouldnt work. Went on chat line. First time worked with someone for 25 minutes who obviously didnt have a clue about my particular model (kept referring to buttons that didnt exist) even though I had given her the correct model (french door unit)--then cut off. Tried again; passed to another tech. In both cases, I asked if the removal of the ice maker might have caused the problem. Was assured not. Went through every possible trouble-shooting efforts (most of which I had already done). Asked again: could it be that the removal of the icemaker was causing the problems? No, I was told, I would have to call a service rep. Before I did so, however, I reinstalled the icemaker. Refrigerator worked perfectly. Apart from the fact that English is clearly a second language, these folks dont have a clue about their own equipment.

Well I have ice build up that has been repaired 3 times already, and as of last night it started making noises again. It is ridiculous that this is such an issue. I recently replaced all my appliances and I was tempted by the Samsung style so I bought all Samsung appliances. The problem so far was the dishwasher after 2 months old. Reading on Internet I figured out the inlet valve went bad. I have tried to contact Samsung customer service multiple times. The waiting time is very frustrating. The representatives dont really know what they are talking about. They just waste even more of the time. They are very polite though but not helpful. Finally, they told me they will send me a technician. This was exactly 2 months ago. Im still waiting for them to come and repair the dishwasher. At this point we know that replacing the dishwasher again may be the best option. Tossing $500 bucks annoys me but dealing with Samsung its not worth it anymore. Honestly, I have been a big fan of Samsung but this dishwasher turned me down. Please be aware of Samsung dishwasher is NOT the way to go.

I have a Samsung dishwasher and refrigerator. We bought them at the same time, thinking Samsung is a good name. Wrong! Our dishwasher has never worked right since the first day we got it. It would never dry the dishes. Now, our refrigerator is broken. I am fairly handy, so I was able to fix it myself. However, I needed to know the correct part number to order for my french door. So I called customer service only to be told that they were not allowed to give part numbers out over the telephone. They would ship it to me at a cost that was double what I could get it for on Amazon. They then directed me to their website, where I could look the part number up myself. However, they didnt tell me they would charge me $5 to look up the part. If you are thinking about Samsung kitchen appliances, I would stay as far away as possible.

My problem is like everyone else!!! My RF217 is less than 2 years old when drain froze up wrecking the fan!!! Having been in the appliance business for over 30 years, I have never saw such a poorly designed system!!! After defrosting and installing a new fan, it worked for a couple of months when it started leaking into the crisper drawers telling me the drain was already frozen!!! I made a heater out of a copper wire and thought I had it fixed. But three months later, same old crap!!! Samsung knows of this problem but is not recalling the problem, even though they make a kit to fix it with!!! I suggest everyone that has or had this problem call the commerce commission and report their experience. In the meantime, you can buy the kit online such as eBay for around $125.00... Let refrigerator thaw for several hours so you dont break cover or insulation foam behind it!!!

We purchased a whole kitchen suite of Samsung appliances. It proved to be a costly mistake. As many of the other reviewers report, our refrigerator kept icing up and leaking. One of the technicians who came to try and fix it, basically said that it is a design problem and the fix wouldn’t last. We ended up having to defrost it every week. The final straw was having to throw out food on more than one occasion due to the refrigerator and freezer not maintaining safe temperature. We replaced the refrigerator with a different manufacturer. I have to say I’m not very happy with our other Samsung appliances either but can’t afford to replace the whole suite after only 3 years.

I wish that I had read all of the negatives reviews regarding Samsung refrigerators before I purchased one. I will have to admit that I have had mine 4 yrs. & today is the first repair job but it seems to be the same problem that everyone is complaining about. I have had water collecting in both veg/fruit drawers. After $250.00, I hope the problem has been corrected. The FF was freezing & leaking per info on repair ticket??? The repairman replaced the heat probe. He said that many of these have had to be replaced. The original ones were too short & they are being replaced with longer ones. This sounds as if there should have been a recall since he told me that he had replaced several with the newer type probe. I do not have any hope of anything being done by Samsung but it sounds as if they should have addressed this problem instead of denying that there is a problem.

Yesterday a person called at 1030 hrs. He said he was the Samsung pick-up guy. He inquired for the address and location route to the flat, which was shared to him by my colleague. He said he would reach in 1 hours time. I rushed to my previous address (God Summit, Hennur Main Road) and reached at 1120 hrs. I waited and waited! He called me at 1200 hrs and inquired for the route to the place again, which was given to him. He said that, he would reach in 30 minutes time. I waited and waited! At 2000 hrs, he calls me for the third time and says that he is stuck in Koramangala and cannot make it! He said that, he will pick-up the fridge today at 1200 hrs! I left for my new home at 2010 hrs and reached at around 2145 hrs. Can you even begin to imagine what it was to WAIT in an ABSOLUTELY EMPTY flat, that just has a non-functional refrigerator in it, from 1120 hrs till 2010 hrs? My patience is wearing thin sir(s)/madam(s)! 01 June 2016 09:59 - Thank you for your telco the past two days. I was expecting the issue to be resolved on the 30th of May, 2016. (It is what Ajay told me), but I guess the subsequent call on the same day is acceptable to indicate to me a new deadline of 1st May, 2016. I am hoping there will be no further delays. I will wait for a call and action on-ground.30 May 2016 12:24 - I take no pride in writing this, but people just ought to know that Samsung is probably the worst brand, ever! This goes out to as many consumers, the world over, through SMS, Facebook, Linkedin, Yahoo Messenger, Google and through other personal platforms. There has seldom been a case of such gross neglect and inconsideration towards a PAYING customer. It is apparent that, Samsungs post sales completely suck and we, consumers, are left to contemplating why we even considered Samsung as a global brand with global, international and far-reaching processes. What I have experienced, after purchasing a high-end Samsung refrigerator (805 litre/French model/Rs. 1,68,000), has been excruciating and far from the standards expected out of companies and Brands that have grown owing to consumers buying into promises galore.Allow me the pleasure to elaborate, why I believe, Samsung is a terrible Brand and company. Background: I purchased, from Croma, Kalyan Nagar, Bangalore, India, the Samsung Refrigerator (805 litre/French model) approximately 5 years ago, paying Rs. 1,68,000. Before the warranty expired (1 year), the cooling system ceased to function. The Samsung engineers took close to 15 days to resolve the issue, while all the meats and perishable foods rotted and lay waste. Since then and till date, the refrigerator has FAILED 5 times. Each time, the Samsung engineers and their so called TRUSTED Partners, have been late to visit, even later to rectify but absolute when it came to CHARGING me. Each time, I would be paying for different line elements, where the FAILURE in cooling remained constant. Its like theyre shooting off from a book of 101 best reasons to charge a customer. The recent apathy: The recent case has certainly brought me to my senses and has clearly demonstrated Samsungs intent. Theyre simply out to MAKE MONEY and literally intent to CHEAT customers. 9 months ago, my refrigerator STOPPED cooling, again for the 5th time in 5 years. I called in the Samsung so-called experts, who post a great deal of debate and argument, came in to conduct repairs. I briefed them on each issue of the past, the same non-cooling problem. I was indicated that a permanent solution will be in place, for the 5th time. Work completed. The fridge seemed fine, as usual, after the 2 day long repair work, which left my home in a mess. I was CHARGED again and that is quite obvious. I personally feel that CHARGING a customer is fine provided work delivered is up to standards and promises given to us.I was told that there will no further problems, but standard policies mean that the warranty on COOLING is for 6 months only. On the 12th of March, 2016: The Samsung fridge STOPPED cooling again and this time both the freezer and the remainder of the unit. On the 15th of March, 2016: I decided to shift residence (From Gold Summit, Hennur Main Road, Bangalore to Berlie Street, Langford Town Bangalore). I therefore decided to use TWO refrigerators at my new residence. So I ended up buying a new Samsung refrigerator, which I am currently using, since the 16th of March, 2016. The previous Samsung fridge I turned off completely. As I was shifting residence, I decided to have the first Samsung fridge Permanently and Completely fixed, then tested, post which to be moved to my new residence. On the 24th of May, 2016: I called the Samsung toll free number and shared my displeasure at the break-down of the fridge and also completely briefed them regarding my plans to shift of the 28th of May, 2016. The executive assured me that Samsung will help. On the 25th of May, 2016 @ 1932 hrs: I received an sms saying that a service engineer by name of Irfan has been assigned to my case, with the service request number **. I did not receive any calls from the person nor anybody at Samsung. So on the 26th of May, 2016, I called Irfan who then said that, he cannot handle the case as it has been wrongly assigned to him. I was asked to call the toll free number again. This was at 2130 hrs.On the 27th May, 2016 @ 0945 hrs: I called the toll free number and spoke to one Ms. **. I had to repeat the entire apathy/episode to her and she too, like every previous Samsung rockstar, told me that she will help me. I briefed her regarding the fact that, I needed to shift my residence and the date that, I needed to get the work done was before the 28th of May, 2016. On the 27th May, 2016 @ 1221 hrs: I received another sms saying that, my complaint was noted and that, the engineer, one Mr. ** was assigned to my case. The service order number was **. On the 27th May, 2017 @ 2000 hrs approximately: ** visits my home at the Gold Summit, Hennur Main Road, Bangalore, inspects the fridge, understands my issue, takes a photograph of the recent bill from LR Enterprises (A Samsung Partner) and tells me that he will now instruct LR Enterprises to come in the morning, the next day, and have the fridge taken away for repairs. He said that, LR Enterprises will take the fridge, repair it, test it and then install it at my new residence. He said that, this will be done first half on the 28th of May, 2016. (The days that I was scheduled to move my residence to Berlie Street). On the 28th of May, 2016: Nobody came, called and when I called ** at 1230 hrs, he says that, he has already passed the case to his office and that he cannot help further. I then called the Samsung toll free and miraculously, the first service/complaint done on the 24th of May, 2016, did not show and only the service/complaint on the 27th of May, 2016, seems to be showing. Anyways, I briefed the Samsung call executive regarding the CHALLENGE and she assured me that someone from R Logistics (The Samsungs partner company, for whom ** works for will call me.)Imagine my plight, its 1230 hrs, and I am alone at my place because all my materials have left for my NEW place, waiting for someone from Samsung to call me. Nobody did. I called the toll free number again and had to debrief a new executive on the line regarding the entire issue. She promised to Send R Logistics a reminder. I dont know what Samsung call center was doing/did, but nobody called me. AT 1430 hrs, I called the Samsung call center again and had to brief a fresh executive on the apathy and like any of previous experiences she said that a reminder will be sent. I then spoke to **, who said that he just cannot help further because he had transferred the case. I asked him for his bosss number and he gave me 3 LAN line numbers: **. ** told me to speak to one Ms. **.On the 28th of May, 2016 from 1445 hrs: I placed 4 calls to each of the numbers provided by **, that means a total of 12 calls, and not once did anyone answer the phone. I called ** back, who said that maybe ** was in a meeting and I should be calling her after 30 minutes. I called each of the numbers 3 times, totaling 9 attempts and nobody even answered the phone. I called the Samsung toll free line and, imagine this, had to brief a FRESH person all over again, from the start. ALL this while materials that have left from this location to my new home and cannot get off-loaded as I am onsite waiting for Samsung to move the fridge. The Samsung executive on call told me that a reminder will be sent and that someone from Samsung will get to me immediately.Nobody called. At 1630 hrs, somebody at R Logistics, answered the phone (**) and this is the heights because, when I asked to speak with Ms. **, the lady tells me that she is busy and just hangs up the phone. I redialed and requested her again to put Ms. ** on, as it was an emergency. She obliged, and when Ms. ** answered and I had to debrief her again and from the start. Ms. ** assured me that she will speak with ** and call me back immediately. She did not call and when I called back the same number, after 45 minutes, nobody answered. I called ** again, who finally gave me the number of one Mr. R ** (**) and told me that he would be the person from LR Enterprises who will handle my issue. 9 times I called Mr. **. First six times, no answer. Next 2 times, phone busy. 9th time, he answers. I briefed Mr. **, who seemed to not have any idea about the issue. After listening to my plight, he says that I will need to speak to one Mr. **.He gives me ** number, which was the wrong number. 9 times after that, Mr. ** failed to answer his calls. I even sent an sms to Mr. ** requesting for ** number, but till now have received zero revert. Since then I placed 22 calls to all of the 3 numbers provided to me by ** and nobody answered the phone. At around 1815 hrs, when I called for the 23rd time, someone answered the phone. I literally begged to speak with Ms. **. Now I could hear the lady call out to ** and this is exactly what I heard over the phone I am quoting her and in English, Just put down the phone. I tried the number 6 times again, and nobody answered my calls. I called the toll free line again, briefed a new person, again, who then actually told me that its the 30th of May, 2016 and 1022 hrs: Nobody from Samsung has even bothered to call/sms. My high-end Samsung fridge (805 liter/French model), which I paid Rs. 1,68,000 at Croma, still remains in my old home. While I am getting my new home in place, I am so concerned wrt the entire treatment meted out to me. To summarize: Samsung rates, according to me, as one of the WORST Brands in the world, given the way they have treated, and continue to treat me.

We have tried different rinse agents and detergents and more extensive pre-cleaning but nothing helps. But the straw that broke the back was a problem four days out of warranty that we had to pay to get fixed. The staff on the help line was rude at best but far better than the supervisor I spoke with. I will not buy another Samsung product after the way she treated me. My advice is if you buy Samsung, buy the extended warranty - youll need it!

We have had the unit going on 9 or 10 years. Recently we have had a problem with the bottom freezer compartment freezing up. I have to remove both compartment and wait until the ice that has formed on the bottom area to thaw and remove the ice. Went to local dealer and was told that maybe that maybe the freezer door seal is worn. I inspected the seal and it still look good. Cleaned the seal as suggested yesterday. Now, I will wait and see what happens in the next few days. The setting for the freezer compartment is set a 8 degrees.

I have a Samsung refrigerator that is 1.5 years old and the refrigerator does not cool. I spoke to customer service and the man was rude. He said that I had to pay to have a certified rep to come out and if it was under warranty they would pay for that but not the visit. I dont have a rep within 20 miles and I live in Detroit. Home Depot said that they have the worst appliances. I have the stove, refrigerator, microwave, and dishwasher. I wish that I would have done more research. Ive wasted tons of food because it may work for a day or two before it goes out.

Samsung Fridge RF28HFEDBSR. Yes another bad review. We bought the fridge 6/9/2014 when it was new and not more than a month old. The ice maker goes out. They replace the ice maker and 2 months later it freezes on us. This time they sent out a repairman with a hair dryer, yes, a HAIR DRYER and defrosted the problem. Fixed for 2 days. I have had the dance of the repair and replace for 3 years now. We keep buying the warranty and they keep fixing and replacing. You would think they would have a fix for this by now. Why havent they offered to replace the fridge? I no longer own any Samsung products.

We purchased a Samsung RF323TE French Door Refrigerator with a Bottom Freez
We purchased a Samsung RF323TE French Door Refrigerator with a Bottom Freezer and Ice Maker in approximately November 2012. Things were working fine until we started noticing a foul smell (like urine) coming from the water out of the dispenser. The water and ice then tasting bad as well. I thought it was the filter, so I bought a new filter, replaced it, and flushed it with several gallons of water through the dispenser as instructed. This worked for about a week, and then the problem returned. I thought I just got a bad filter, so I put a new one in and repeated the process. Shortly after, the problem is now back. I went to the Samsung website to try and troubleshoot it, but I could not find nor enter the model number. I got an error message saying the model number was not found! I have not called them, and I am not sure if we bought the extended warranty from Lowes, but the reports I have read are very discouraging. I will definitely report back, and do more research before my next purchase. Samsung will be hard pressed to get any more of my business.

My wife and I live in Everett, Pa. We had purchased two Samsung products from Lowes, a microwave model SMH 9187 ST and a top of the line Stainless French door fridge, in Altoona, Pa. After a short period the ice maker light would not reset on the fridge for which we paid for an extended warranty. After calling Lowe’s we were told we live outside the 50 mile radius for service. After calling Samsung we’re told there was no one in the area to service the unit. The only option was to replace the fridge with a new one to solve the minor problem. DUH! After days I finally got it to reset. Another problem was we had water leaking from the ice maker unit. Again no service was available. It seems I had replaced the filter unit made by Samsung made in Korea and it was defective. I found this out after driving 100 miles round trip to try another unit. If I did not have some technical skills for repair I would have been out of luck. Our microwave failed showing the code SE. Again I could not get service and was told by Samsung it was still in warranty. After many calls they referred the problem to a BGH Electronics in Cumberland Maryland. After 9 days waiting for a call I found out the repair was canceled. I suspect they did not want to drive the 2 hours round trip. I again got back with Samsung and now was told the unit was NOT in warranty and I was on my own to get it repaired. Fortunately I found that this unit has a design flaw where steam from the stove will corrode the contacts in the control panel. A simple video on YouTube shows how to clean the contacts and after that the unit works fine. I am not happy with Lowe’s in Altoona, Pa selling Samsung products to folks outside the 50 mile area that cannot get service. I will buy appliances from local stores that can provide service if needed and it will not be a Samsung product.

Nightmare... Purchased the dishwasher June of 2014, 2 years later water wall error 7E, which is an expensive fix. It involves two motors and a sensor. Called several service technicians in our area, they all stated that there are several service bulletins and TSIs posted for Samsung service technicians in regard to this issue so it would be best if I called Samsung because Samsung should fix for free because it is a product defect that is warranted. I called Samsung at 1.800. Samsung and spoke with William in customer service. He agreed that this is a defective issue with this Samsung dishwasher and that they would offer me a one-time extended service agreement and would set up an authorized Samsung service company to come out and fix it.The next day I received a call from the Authorized Service Company, Quick Fix and they said that I would have to pay for the service because it was out of warranty, I stated what William had told me. They said, “Well, in addition to this not being written in the notes, we no longer service your area so Samsung will have to provide another authorized service company for your unit.” So I called Samsung back and spoke with supervisor Tyler (employee number- **) and Layla (employee number **). They stated that William had not written it in the notes for the extended service warranty and that Samsung does not even have an authorized service company in our area, so they wouldnt be able to help us. We have asked them to review the recorded service call with William as they stated that they couldnt honor because it was not in the notes.I went back to my warranty. It states that Samsung will cover all parts and labor if it is deemed to be a defect issue. We went back to Best Buy to receive assistance with the issue as we had purchased the DW80H9930US from Best Buy. The sales reps, Chris, tried to call Samsung and get help with the issue as they had a list of authorized Samsung service repair in SWFL. Samsung also told Best Buy that they did not have authorized Samsung repair service in SWFL. Best Buy started giving them the list. They said that Best Buy would need to contact Samsung’s ECR service. Best Buy did state that this is always an issue with Samsung and that they have poor customer support and that there are a lot of issues with Samsung appliances.ECR was closed, so Best Buy passed my complaint to Vanessa, she called ECR the following week. Samsung’s customer service agent told Vanessa that Samsung would be giving me a full refund on my dishwasher as they know that there is a severe issue with the water wall on these dishwashers. Samsung had Vanessa fax my receipt and other documentation to a fax number. They were supposed to send fax her back with a refund letter so that I could purchase a new dishwasher from Best Buy. A couple of days went by with no word, so Vanessa called Samsung back. Samsung stated that they had no record of Vanessa ever calling and that no refund would be issued. Vanessa stated that Best Buy would not be able to help me any further. Why are Samsung and Best Buy still selling these dishwashers if they know that there are severe issues with the product and that neither one of them will stand behind the product, so the customer is left with an overpriced appliance that does not work. Both companies have failed in providing customer service and support. Neither one stands behind the warranty. Hoping that all appliance companies will read this and stop selling Samsung appliances! Customers stop buying from Samsung and Best Buy!

Our fridge is not 2 years old. Within the warranty period it started making really loud, scare the dogs, popping noises and the water dispenser began dripping. Samsung claimed this was normal. This continued and after 3-4 calls to Samsung with no change in their response the 1 year warranty expired. The ice machine went out 2 days after the warranty expired and we called Samsung once again and were told they needed to send someone out.Service repair company came out and told us this is a known Samsung issue and they wont do anything about it and we would have to purchase an additional warranty to the tune of $475.00 to have this covered. They made what repairs they could and said it would probably not work. Needless to say, the repair did not work and weve had issues with the ice machine and dripping water dispenser for almost 2 years now. Samsung refuses to address this issue. I will never buy a Samsung product again and suggest that no one else does. I have several friends with similar model refrigerators and they have the same frustrating issues.

Again. Bought a Samsung French door refrigerator #RF263BEAESR/AA and within the first year we had to have several service calls for the ice maker freezing up and dripping down the fridge into the crisper drawer and ruining all the food also causing bad smells. The serviceman even showed us the design flaws and how to melt the ice but it was always a temporary fix as it continues to happen. We do not even try to use the ice maker at this point. We always keep a bag of ice in the bottom freezer. We are currently living out of two coolers for our daily essential foods as now the fridge is not getting cold enough and the freezer is not working. This was not a cheap purchase. I cannot believe all the problems and now having to not have use of the fridge at all. We have filed with the class action suit but right now hoping to find out that there was a recall.

I have an 8-year-old $2000 brushed aluminum Samsung refrigerator. Recently I noticed that it was not cooling properly so I called Samsung, gave all product info, and was referred to a repair facility (Cyberworld in Norcross, Ga). The Samsung tech who came to diagnose problem informed me that my fridge was too old to fix and that I should just buy a new one. I was charged a $95 diagnostic fee, even though the tech did nothing except open the fridge and tell me it wasnt worth fixing.I called Samsung on 9/1 (more than 3 weeks ago) and have called back every business day since then to get some sort of customer service. Each Samsung rep tells me something different. I ask names and employee numbers, take notes on each conversation, and all calls are supposedly recorded. Yet the Samsung rep who takes my call NEVER knows anything, always tells me that my claim is being escalated, and I will receive a call back from supervisor within 24-48 hours. How many calls have I received during this 3-week period? Zero, zilch, nada... NOT ONE!!! I am done with shoddy Samsung products. I am done with appallingly bad Samsung customer service. We bought all Samsung appliances for our new home. The fridge lasted 2 years, needed a new motherboard and fan. Our washer is the exploding machine, on recall, check if you have one... Our dishwasher broke 5 times in two years, we had to pay servicemen 120 bucks each time to look, motherboard, seals, racks, etc. Everything replaced. Samsung service said initially they would replace machine before one year, but it dragged out longer, so they said, Too bad youre no longer under warranty. It was never fixed. A so-called Samsung guy showed up, said we should not use Rinse Aid, causes bubbles. I laughed at him. No one from Samsung had anything on file he came to our home. I met two people last week at Lowes looking for a dishwasher, they had the same machine I did. We laughed. Never again. Samsung dishwasher the worst ever! Stay away!

Purchased the Samsung NX58F5300ss/AA Gas Range in December of 2013 from Best Buy. About two days ago my wife was going to cook breakfast but noticed the display panel was blinking and displaying the letters SE. I called Samsung Customer Service, explained the problem to them. They told to reset the circuit breaker in the house panel box and that would fix the problem. Needless to say, that didnt fix the problem. I called Samsung again, told them their fix did nothing. Samsung offered to setup an appointment for a service call but would not tell me what the service call would cost nor would they give me any information as to the probable problem could be.Based on other reviews, this error code of SE is a known problem but Samsung has not been helpful at all in trying to help me resolve the problem. Also based on other reviews I agree that it would be cheaper to buy a new range rather than calling a Samsung repairman.

The refrigerator worked okay for the first year after that it stopped working at least 6 times. I am so disgusted with Samsung. If I had the resources I would ship it back to their headquarters. We bought a Samsung 26-cubic ft. French Door Fridge that was manufactured July 2011. It was installed in October 2011. After 12 months of use, the fan motor broke and the fridge vents iced up. This led to the temperature in the fridge going up, and all our food spoiling. We had bought the fridge through Sears, and had an extended warranty. After 6 weeks, Sears could not source a replacement fan motor from Samsung. We have heard that Samsung only makes a refrigerator model for about 3 years or less, then changes it. They rarely make spare parts, and if they do, they are hard to get. We are going to get a new fridge because Sears cannot source a part for our one year old fridge. Im amazed that such a small part is going to render our fridge useless. What a waste of a fridge, and what a disappointment in Samsung, who we thought would build a good product. This was a $2,300 fridge and should last more than a year, and should have available parts. A very good example of the low quality of appliances these days.

I bought this fridge new nearly 5 years ago and within the first year cracks started developing in the clear plastic shelves. At this point most of the shelves have cracked, some seriously. The shelves were never overloaded, but appear to develop internal stresses when cold resulting in spontaneous cracks. We bought a Samsung Dishwasher Model DMT800RHS in 2011. Repaired it several times due to rack clips breaking off and getting stuck in the impeller. Samsung did not fix the faulty design on those clips and just sent replacement parts. Guess what, they broke again. In 2014.08.05 the dishwasher would not power up at all. Repair person attended and cost $500.00 for the repair! The machine cost me $859.90. In 2014.10.15 the machine broke again, no power at all. The Tech re-attended but now out of the 90 day warranty. He did get it working for 1 day and claimed he did not know what the issue could be but dont call him back as now out of warranty. Great. Next day, machine broke and has been ever since. Called Samsung. Wont help as machine out of warranty. This is clearly a manufacturer defect with the electronics. My only option is to take Samsung to court! Do not buy Samsung dishwashers!!

The water jet inside the washer is super handy to touch up items with a stain before the load. I wondered if I would use the deep fill water option since my old machine used a lot more water. But I have not felt the need to use it yet, this washer gets clothes nice and clean without all the extra water. I love that it reminds me when it is time to clean the machine. I purchased a new Samsung refrigerator, RS265TDWP, on 8/20/2012 from my local Best Buy and I did not purchase the extended warranty on it. It stopped cooling the refrigerator section on 3/10/2016, 3 years and 6 months old and in less than 24 hours box went from 34* to 54* causing me to scramble to save contents and make plans for service/repairs heading into the weekend. I called the phone number inside the refrigerator which stated it was for factory guaranteed repairs or accessories and did receive prompt response from whoever they were on the East Coast. However the local repair service they told me would be contacting me in 24-72 hours on the West Coast to perform repairs had a number of not so favorable reviews when I researched them online locally. Being out of warranty and with no extended warranty I knew I would be responsible for all repair cost. After thinking about the reviews for about 5-6 hours on a Friday afternoon I went another direction. I had another repair service person working on my refrigerator by 5:30 that evening and he told me the story of the notoriously lousy Samsung Refrigerator saga regarding this problem. His comment prior to starting, frozen evaporation fan, frozen coils, etc., etc. Findings once began work, evaporation fan motor frozen stuck, evaporation coils frozen over, insulation saturated (ruined), unit needs manual defrosting, back panel unit needs replacing. Because he sees this all the time, he stocked Samsung back panel in his service vehicle, good for me I guess, at least I did not have to wait another week for parts to come. He had job completed in about an hour and repairs totaled $411.09. Buyer Beware the internet is full of similar stories regarding Samsung refrigerators and this freezing over problem. Many have been a class action lawsuit filed against Samsung for this. My suggestion, do not buy Samsung Refrigerators without doing your homework and really investigating this issue.

We had a few fridges in our lives and this is the first and last time we will ever buy any Samsung product.

Changed out my perfectly working 20yr old dishwasher for New Samsung Stormwash w/ auto-release dry. Big mistake! Purchased from Home Depot. Delivery was a joke as they cancelled a promised Saturday delivery. I had to drive a town away to pick it up myself after waiting a week and then they cancelled appt. Next, 5 months later dishwasher leaked all over my kitchen floor and it hadnt been turned on yet. Customer no service overseas a joke. Said I should have bought a warranty. Told them I didnt have a crystal ball and if Id known it was a cruddy product I wouldnt have purchased it in the first place. Had to pull all my dishes and wash by hand. Waiting to hear from them to fix it. Dont want it but refused to take it back. Damage to floor.

Bought 2 of these Samsung RF263BEAESR refrigerators for my sons. A few months later we realized they were both running practically all the time. On investigation we found that when the right door is closed last, it blows the left door open about 1/4 inch which exposes the interior of the refrigerator to outside air, rendering the insulation ineffective. However, its not enough to set off the door alarm so you wont know it. Samsungs warranty servicer for my area says its normal for this model and Samsung will not warranty this problem. My advice: stay away from this refrigerator unless you love to pay high electric bills. I wasted $3500 on these. I know I will never buy another Samsung product.

Stove info. Samsung 30” range. Model #NX58K9500WG/AA. Serial #0DQN7DDH600
Stove info. Samsung 30” range. Model #NX58K9500WG/AA. Serial #0DQN7DDH600185N. Purchased from Lowe’s on 11/15/16 for $1424.05. Warranty period through Samsung Protection Plus 11/23/2017 to 11/23/22. I am hoping you can help me resolve a problem with Samsung Corporation. We purchased the above stove from Lowe’s in 2016. My husband and I had been noticing headaches and burning eyes for 2 or 3 days — more pronounced when using the oven. As one of our CO detectors beeped off and on, we called the fire department. They checked out the air quality in the house and found carbon monoxide levels 3 times safe levels in the bedrooms. They checked the gas furnace and gas water heater. Neither one was leaking carbon monoxide. The firemen called Alliant Energy because they said Alliant had equipment that more accurately measures deadly carbon monoxide levels. Alliant determined the leak was coming from the Samsung oven. Per the Alliant technician it was not leaking from the connection — it was from the oven itself. We have the written Caution Notice from Alliant Energy stating the defect is in the oven. We also have the run sheet from the fire department indicating CO three times safe levels. I contacted Samsung twice to get them to send a serviceman. The serviceman checked the oven on 12/18. He had no CO detector and did not turn the oven on. His work order said we had no warranty which is incorrect. It also listed “Operation/Smell/Smoke/Burning Smell.” The service was required because of CO leak reported by the Alliant Energy technician not the stated product symptoms. Samsung did not call me back to follow up concerning the repair. I called them requesting the disposition of this dangerous oven which we cannot safely use. I suggested they send another repairman to measure the CO2. The Samsung Pro said they were not going to waste additional time on this repair. A very poor customer service response especially considering the extent the default. I contacted Samsung again on 12/24 restating my complaint, concerns, feeling Samsung is responsible for resolving this dangerous appliance. I was told the situation is in fact very serious and dangerous and Samsung is very concerned about me safety — a script they all repeat. They said someone would contact us in 24 hours. As no one contacted me by 12/29, I contacted Samsung again. Same story, “this is a very serious situation.” The Samsung Pro said he would make a new ticket ASAP, correct the error in the stated repair needed and add the need for a CO measurement tool to confirm the Alliant Energy technician’s report. I offered to send them a copy of the Alliant Energy findings to save them the time and effort they were unwilling to expend in earlier communications. I have contacted Samsung 12/12, 12/17, 12/18, 12/24, 12/29, 1/4, and 1/6. Every time I have contacted Samsung the last line of their communication is “do not use the oven.” It confuses me that Samsung contends the range does not need repair but always note DO NOT TURN THE OVEN ON.We have not been able to use our oven safely (and have been advised by Samsung NOT to turn it on) since 12/11. We have contacted Samsung 8 times — all on my initiation, not their followup. I understand these ranges go down a manufacturing line and errors can happen. What I do NOT understand is why Samsung cares so little about their customer service when their product is clearly and dangerously defective. This defect is not a leaky ice maker — it a poisonous gas-producing range. It is appalling that Samsung is so unwilling to correct an error they created which could cause death to the consumer whose only mistake was purchasing a Samsung product. My latest 2-hour phone conversation today with 3 transfers that resulted in disconnects. The result of the last conversation was in order to resolve these defective stove situation we need a second opinion. Samsung has only one service center and their serviceman checked on our stove with a ticket that had the incorrect problem listed. There is no other Samsung serviceman in this area other than UTech. A second opinion from the the same service company that gave you the first one is like getting a second opinion from your doctor’s partner. Now we cannot move forward because Samsung doesn’t have another service center — how is that our fault. I have a written copy of the service ticket from Alliant Energy to verify their finding. It is difficult for me to understand why we are the people without an oven for almost a month, the people making repeated calls and being on hold for 30-45 minutes, and having to worry about having to settle for a stove in our house that has been repaired by the same company who built the defective one. How reassuring is any of that? Why doesn’t Samsung want to do the right thing? None of this is our fault but we are the frustrated consumer who Samsung does care about. Again, this is not a leaky ice maker — it is a carbon monoxide-producing range. We have no reason to make this up this mess as this is only causing us fear and frustration and Samsung Corporation is not helping at all.

I bought Samsung refrigerator last June 20, 2009 (RF267ABBP/XAA). The ice dispenser started spitting out bits of hard white plastic (some nickel and dime size) with the ice. When I called for repair (still under warranty), the repairman could find no source for the plastic and did nothing. The problem has reemerged now with 1.5 x 2 piece of hard white plastic and dime size piece of styrofoam.

Bought a Samsung refrigerator less than two years ago at Sears and it just started leaking water into the bottom drawers. Called service and were told nothing could be done, that this is a common problem with the SAMSUNG refrigerators. The ice maker will not stop making ice. In order to make it stop we have to do it manually. DONT BUY A SAMSUNG REFRIGERATOR. We will make an effort to communicate to as many thousands people as possible (how about making a viral video to show on social media?) that SAMSUNG does not care about customers problems...

I purchased a Samsung refrigerator in 2010. I had an extended warranty on the fridge. During the 5 years of the warranty I had to have it repaired 6 times for the same problem which is the back keeps freezing up and will not defrost. For the last 2 years I bought another warranty from Sears. They came out every 4 months to defrost and replace the fan and the defrost sensor. I called Samsung and they refuse to give me my money back for the unit. The customer service is horrible. So if you have any sense DONT BUY. I paid $1,995 for this model. Now they are stating they will only give me $427.00 because it has depreciated in the seven years of owning it.

I bought Samsung refrigerator 30.39 cu ft. 4 Doors. I have to call service twice to fix the ice maker in less than a year. It broke in less than six months after I bought it and they came to replace a new ice maker. Five months later it broke again and I have to pay for the part and service because they only guarantee for 90 days. I definitely would not recommend Samsung refrigerator to anyone.

Can get no satisfaction on when someone will come to look at fridge and get compressor replaced. Day two of trying to get handled. Model RB217ABPN, purchased 9/22/2009. Compressor still under warranty. Do not plan to purchase Samsung products again if this is the service I get when problems arise.

We, like a couple of others, were going through a remodel and decided to upgrade our appliances. We bought the Samsung range, $2600, from Lowes when they had a special on this range. Expensive, to say the least, but it was beautiful. Because of construction delays we did not get the range and other appliances installed until several months later. We been using the range for about 6 months now and the oven just never seems to be right. The Tech has been out twice and says, Everything checks out? So, Thanksgiving come around and we do a Turkey, all timed out according to the oven temp and time for the 20 pound bird. 5 hours later and the temp wand said it was done. We took it to our Daughters house and began cutting -- nope, not done. It look done, but pink meat and really pink and red around the thigh joints. Closer to the breast the white meat was slightly pink as well.If you want to do cookies you have to settle for near burnt outer crust, making for hard cookies, if you want the centers to get done. The oven may test right but somewhere along the way, through the process of heating and cooling to maintain temp this oven is failing. Looking to get it replaced. We would even stay with Samsung if they would agree to a replacement of a different model. Im for going back to an Electric. That is a lot of money for a range that only half works. We had a cheap wall oven that worked great for all baking, did not know how well it worked until we bought this Samsung.

We purchased all our appliances for our new home. Everything still works but our icemaker on our Samsung Refrigerator. We paid 2,000 plus for this item and icemaker maybe worked 6 months. All froze up and leaks down from of our refrigerator. It is such an inconvenience, to have to fill ice trays and break our own ice. Having the drawer for a freezer is hard to place ice trays and it takes up space to store the ice we made. I called Samsung and they are denying any issues with their icemakers. Lady acted like she had never heard of this issue. I feel like we are living in the dinosaur age with this, but I cant justify buying a new refrigerator and we shouldnt have to, Samsung needs to repair this defective product that they sold to hundreds of people like me.

For the fourth time the in-door ice maker has stopped dispensing ice. When we remove the ice tray, there is a large chunk of ice in the back of the ice maker. We defrost and reinstall the ice dispenser and it works for a month or so, then freezes up again. Very frustrating. The refrigerator is less than one year old, the 31 cu.ft. French Door model.

My Samsung SMH9187ST microwave stopped working in less than three years. Now out of warranty, Samsung was of NO help. It is not worth repairing given a minimum $150 labor fee for a unit that cost just over $200. I regret having purchased a Samsung refrigerator/freezer. Im keeping my fingers crossed on that one. Bottom line, avoid Samsung microwaves like the plague.
