After we bought it, we had to defrost every 4 months. Ice builds up on behind the refrigerator part. We had to take the cover off and de-ice. It made loud noises, smelled like chemical (like gas) every time you open the door. The tech said to put baking soda in it for 48 hours. Please, Im not stupid. We ordered a new fan motor for it off eBay for $40.00 and a new water filter for $35. Now, we wont need it because we will probably go buy a new one. Samsung is junk. Dont buy one! I couldnt believe all the bad reviews. I wish I had seen this first. The fridge should last 15-20 years. Our other cheapies were better than this $2,000.00 unit!

We purchased our refrigerator July 3, 2012 from Lowes. 5 years to the date it quit working over night, woke up the next morning and all my food in top part refrigerator was spoiled and bottom freezer was thawed. Called repairman to come out and take a look at it, about all he had to say was to unplug it and waituntil tomorrow morning it should cool down and start working again. The repairman at the house for 5 minutes and 75.00 dollar for the service call to tell me to unplug it. It did cool down and started working, restock the refrigerator. But 7 days later it went down again. We unplug again but still not working so, once again we had to deal with spoiled and lost food. The consumer are right. Samsung Refrigerator is a piece of crap. I will never purchase a Samsung product again.

Unless you enjoy taking your fridge apart for a couple days on a routine basis to remove a back inner panel, defrost the inner workings, and then it all back together again, I do not recommend this product. Weve taken it apart at least six times in the last three years. It is poorly designed. There is a clip that is supposed to help keep an evaporator drain defrosted, but it is too short. The drain freezes up, the ice backs up, goes all throughout the cooling coils, up into the wires and fan--all frozen into one solid block. I finally found a replacement clip that is longer. It is supposed to be here tomorrow--until then I have the fridge. This problem is well documented throughout the internet and this should be fixed by warranty. Its ridiculous and has soured me on Samsung entirely.

Have bought (FROM BEST BUY) the Samsung Family Hub Fridge 3 weeks ago. (SERIAL # 08EM43BH300343N. MODEL CODE: RF22K9581SR/AA) We tried to connected it to our iPhone (6) after downloading the apps. It didnt work. We called Samsung VIP Number & they promised that a technician will contact us... to no avail. We have been calling & calling again & after our 10th attempts, we were said that this product is new on the market & that Samsung Technician are studying the case. My question is the following, how can you introduce a new technology in the US market without prior testing it? Why do you want me to pay $4,000 for a technology that doesnt work? Your credibility is at stake as well as your after sales service. Your supervisor didnt even deign to call us back despite our several calls. If this the way you are treating your new customers? I have always bought LG product & I wanted to shift to Samsung! I do regret my choice & I miss deeply the courteous & most efficient after sales service of LG. In short if I have no echo back from you within a week time, I will return your fridge back to Best Buy.

We too bought a Samsung RF266ABRS/XAA - this is a French door, bottom mount fridge in September 2009. Though I have been happy with the design, mechanically this system is problematic. We have consistently had issue with the water pooling/freezing under the deli drawer. The Twin Cooling panel on the inside/rear of the unit was replaced in 2011 and now again in 2013. Our service rep told us the unit has a design flaw in the way it seals. Both times have been out of our pocket though I will be pulling my warranty information as it sounds as though another writer says it MIGHT be covered under a 5 year warranty for the Twin Cooling system. I wont even THINK about another SAMSUNG and will be careful to ascertain if the next brand is manufactured by the same outfit. Oh yes, this time our ice maker went out as well.

Samsung Microwave Model SMH9207ST - We have had a Lowes Tech over 4 times due to our malfunctioning microwave. We love the microwave and its styling but we have had issues with it. When the door is opened, it will reset the date/time causing us to reset everything. This problem is off/on and unpredictable. The tech replaced the door already but it continued to malfunction a few months later. He said the door design pinches the wires when opening and closing and Samsung is aware of this. He ordered an updated door design but it has been back ordered several times. Today, the fan came on high all by itself! It scared the crap out of us and I have concerns that this thing isnt safe! What if the oven starts while we are away? I guess we will unplug the damn thing when we are not using it. We have numerous Samsung appliances which we love but this microwave is a dud. These problems are causing me to question Samsungs quality and commitment concerning customer care. Thank goodness for Lowes Extended Warranty as all this would be costly to fix.

Samsung Model # RFG298HDRS/XAA / French doors and bottom freezer - Ice accumulates on the floor of the freezer and jams the door from closing and causing the freezer to run continuously as well as defrosts food inside. Unknown cause... Same thing was happening to our Samsung refrigerator, until water began to build up in the line and pour out. I had to turn the water off going to the refrigerator. The water valve is leaking. There is a Service Bulletin with Samsung... A S C 201 202 22 002. There appears to be a problem with the Valve Assembly and will need to be replaced along with the control board. I have only had the unit for 2 years. Disappointed with this product.

My 2014 french door refrigerator, Model RF263BEAESR, began flooding below the pantry pan in the refrigerator section last spring. The first fix at our expense lasted about 2 weeks. Samsung agreed to pay for the 2nd fix, which has lasted for 3 months. Now it has the same problem again and they refuse to pay for the fix again. Their new policy is to only pay for repairs ONE time once an appliance is out of warranty, even if the repair is for the same problem that was obviously not fixed by previous repairs. Our repairmen told us that this model and others like it clearly suffer from a design defect, which Samsung refuses to admit is the case. Interestingly, turning off the icemaker prevents the periodic flooding. So our choices now are to pay every few months to have it fixed, to leave the icemaker off, or buy a new refrigerator. I will never buy any product from Samsung again.

Purchased samsung oven last year. Noticed paint peeling on glass top after a couple of months. Called Samsung and had a ticket for someone to come out to look at oven. Repair place called on day of service advising they would charge service charge since this is a cosmetic problem. Service place said if samsung admits this is not cosmetic then they would not charge. Called samsung back, talked to Shawn service manager. He advised this is a cosmetic problem when paint peels off of glass top. I have had other glass top stoves and never had this problem. This proves this product is a piece of ** and the glass top will peel no matter how you clean or take care of the product. I will not buy another samsung product.

Samsung refrigerator model RB217ACRS/XAA is simply a terrible appliance. Firstly, it is so loud! Every time the ice maker comes on, it sounds like an earthquake (I live in California). On several occasions, my guests have actually gasped. If its ice time, you have to turn up the TV. Its so loud, its ridiculous! Secondly, the handle on the freezer routinely snaps off.And then, at 16 months post purchase, the ice maker, the freezer and the control pad on the front of the door stopped working. The repairman told me, with a straight face, that I wasnt closing the door properly. Im 54, I have a masters degree and I raised two children; I know how to close the door. Thankfully I had an extended warranty. It’s the only one I have ever purchased. I should have known when the salesperson was so adamant that I really needed one for this refrigerator. I just thought they were being pushy, now I know. The repair was made, and I was reimbursed for lost food. But now, well, this 18 month old Samsung continues to frost-over on the top shelf (of the freezer) and not be cold enough on the bottom shelf. Yes, I have tried changing the settings; Ive tried everything. I can only use the very bottom shelf of the freezer, because the top shelf is frozen over. However, on the bottom shelf where the cardboard boxes (like the one where frozen entrées are in) are wet and disgusting. As for the ridiculously loud ice maker, I have to dump the ice every other day or it turns into one big rock. I thought I was being so smart and cool when I bought this Samsung refrigerator - it was rated so highly! Well, learn from me; dont do it. It’s the worst appliance I have ever encountered. They make good TVs, but leave it at that!

It is not worth repairing given a minimum $150 labor fee for a unit that cost just over $200. I regret having purchased a Samsung refrigerator/freezer. Im keeping my fingers crossed on that one. We made the mistake of purchasing a Samsung French door refrigerator. The compressor died and that was verified by the one repair shop within two hours that Samsung would allow to look at it. After three weeks we are filing a consumer action lawsuit in WI. When we call customer service, they have either lost what they said they had the day before or today, they need a 7000 number, a request that has not been made in the previous three weeks. Every day they say they will have an answer in 24 to 48 hours. That answer never comes. We have a B&B so have lost business. Avoid Samsung at all costs. There is no reasonable response to consumers.

I purchased all new Samsung kitchen appliances (refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave and stove) last year around July 4th during a sale at Lowes. I took delivery at different times as all items were not in stock. A year and 2 weeks later, the ice maker has stopped working. When I originally noticed that no ice was being made, the ice tray (where the ice cubes are made) was froze up. I removed the excess ice and waited. Nothing. I researched on the internet and tried to fix the problem myself. Changed the filter, checked water line and then hit the reset button. The ice maker will make one batch of ice and then no more.I called Samsung and because the warranty was out by 2 weeks, they wanted $160 service call, plus parts and additional labor, if necessary. I declined. I called Lowes to see if they would stand by their product and help. Nothing. I understand that the warranty is out, by two weeks, but I would like Lowes and Samsung would stand behind their products more and support their customers. I would understand if we were talking months or years, but this is two weeks. Actually less, if I consider when I actually took possession of the refrigerator, because it was after the July 4th date and the failure was actually before I reported it to Samsung and Lowes. To top it off, the price of a new ice maker is only $123, which I have on order now. So the $160 service call, plus parts and labor seems a little excessive. In addition to the refrigerator ice maker issue, the dishwasher does not clean as well as my 15 year old working Whirlpool that I removed. And 80% of the time has a foul odor in it, the day after washing dishes. The microwave has worked, but has a very annoying design feature. You can not operate the microwave and use the kitchen timer at the same time. Very poor design. If I had to do it all over again, I would have paid a little more and went with Whirlpool products instead of buying the Samsung products. I will not make that mistake again and do not plan on buying any products from them and will favor doing business with Home Depot over Lowes if I have a choice.

Wish I could go back in time and choose a fridge other than Samsung RS263TD
Wish I could go back in time and choose a fridge other than Samsung RS263TDRS. Weve owned fridge 4 years and has been a disappointment from day one. Slow water dispenser. Ice dispenser shoots across room. Biggest issue is defroster on fridge side. Several times a year we go through the headache of fridge making loud grinding sound, popping and then inside heating up and spoiling food. Samsung support centre acts like my issue is an isolated problem.First time I paid for a technician. He reported this to me as common issue, a manufacturing default and inserted a spacer between fan to add more air flow. He acknowledged this was only a bandaid solution and that I should be proactive and when I hear ice starting to build up on fan, to defrost fridge for two days. This has become a burdensome issue now and we defrost our fridge three to four times a year. After doing this our fridge resumes cooling efficiently but then a few months go by and ice and water build up below crisper. I will never buy another Samsung product and discourage other consumers from buying their product. Samsung is robbing consumers and their callous approach to Customer Service is unacceptable.

French Door Counter Depth Refrigerator with Deli Drawer RF24FSED - Like those before me, I am hoping others can benefit from my mistake. My Samsung refrigerator is less than two years old and the ice maker doesnt work. We have done all the recommended fixes several times. Both Best Buy and Samsung will not do anything to help. Reliable appliance repairmen wont work on Samsung appliances and say they cant even get parts. Also the interior design isnt very good. The door shelves have an extra metal trim and there is space between it and the plastic wall. If something spills and gets between the metal and the plastic wall it is a nightmare to clean. I also find removing the plastic vegetable bins to clean a big hassle. I will never purchase a Samsung product again.

We have bought Samsung electronics for many years. In 2011 we bought all new kitchen appliances, top of the line Samsung. It is now 5 years later 2016 and we have a dishwasher that needs a new motor, the most expensive part approx $600.00. Now our fridge has leaked from the water dispenser and flooded our kitchen twice. It just starts pouring by itself. Of course this happened while we were not home and then again during the night. We thought the first time may have been a fluke but it was not. The electronics on the door stopped working. The replacement part at $400.00 did not work. We also have a leak inside from one of the vents in the back that leaks down the back and pools under the crispers. The tech at this point is not sure what is wrong with it. He now suspects the motherboard. The leak inside will require the whole inside back of the fridge being replaced. These repairs are going to make it not worth fixing. Of course Samsung says Im sorry there is only a 1 year warranty. They will do NOTHING. The appliances are barely 5 years old. How can they possibly not stand behind their products with problems such as this? We all know appliances last many many years with no problems. The tech we are using used to be a Samsung tech and reported how hard they make it to be a tech. The techs even complain about Samsung. I gave 1 star because you have to put something there but I feel less than zero. We will never buy Samsung appliances again. We also will question any further Samsung electronics. We spend so much money on Samsung from cell phones, tablets, tvs, etc. you would think they would do something to help us out. This is the thanks we get for being loyal customers for many years. We now have to buy a new fridge that will be around $2k if we are lucky. The dishwasher will have to be replaced. We have not had trouble out of the range or microwave yet, we hope we dont! What a way to have to spend your hard earned money. Again, we will never buy Samsung appliances again. Be careful because we have a Kenmore washing machine that is made by Samsung. Kenmore is not Kenmore any more. All you have to do is ask Sears, they will tell you. The appliance brands today are not what they say, you have to ask what company made the appliance. I have a beach property that I have recently bought a dishwasher, range, hot water heater and AC. The company I purchased the different items from say that there are a few manufacturers and then a name goes on the same thing with a few differences. Buyer beware!

It was so bad that we had to have towels around the fridge and change them a couple times a day. Scheduled the repair service, however, the repairman couldnt figure out what the problem was. Our Samsung refrigerator RFG298HDRS stopped dispensing water. At first I could remove the 4 month old filter and put it back in and the dispenser worked for 2 weeks. Every 2 weeks I would do this. Finally I replaced the filter and it would not give us any water at all. I was using Samsung filters Model DA29-00020B. Samsung tech the first time had me checking the 2 ice makers that would not work. They told me I had knock off filters from Amazon. Then I took the filter out and tried the water everything began to work. Ice makers ran and water dispensed. Called Tech support again. The guy told me that this was the first thing they should have had me try. Since that works its a bad filter. Well. I have now purchased 7 filters spent over $200 and still NOTHING works. I have noticed that Samsung has changed the filter a little too. Different label, Smaller center hole than the original for water to enter the filter however even the larger hole filters which I still had did not work.... Also the literature in the new filters boxes is not accurate. It states to put the replacement label date on the installed filter which there are NO longer any labels supplied and it also states to remove the BLUE cap... The cap is white. Even after buying the filters at Lowes they do not work. Samsung swears to me the fridge is ok since it works without the filter.... I have a tech coming out in 2 weeks the soonest they could arrive. But the techs tell me Samsung does not provide support for them in trouble shooting either. Samsung needs to change the way they do business! As much as they charge for these refrigerators, this is consumer robbery. My fridge is only 3 years old.

We purchased a Samsung side by side at Conn’s a few months ago and specifically chose Samsung over the other brands because we had good experiences with phones, a TV and a number of other items from that brand. Well, 2 weeks ago, the refrigerator quit working and all of our food went bad. At first, I wasnt concerned, because it is still within the warranty period. I called Conn’s and they started the repair order. The problem came when Samsung couldnt find a local service provider to come out and repair it. Last week, they told me that they would allow us to exchange it for a new unit if they didnt find someone by Monday. Monday, they said they were still processing the claim. It has now been two weeks and Samsung says that it will take up to 7 more business days for them to decide what to do. In the meantime, we have lost a couple of hundred dollars worth of food and havent had a working refrigerator in weeks. I understand that things happen, but when you pay to purchase a fairly expensive appliance new from what is supposed to be a reputable brand, you expect that issues will be taken care of in a more timely manner. Eating out is costing us even more money and I dont think it is unreasonable to expect that a refrigerator can be repaired or replaced within the first two weeks.

I am writing a negative review as it relates to my purchased a Samsung microwave model ME16H702SES in April 2019. The microwave overheated and the paint melted at the bottom of microwave. I send pictures of the damage and was told it was cosmetic damage and the tech also told me it was the same. I followed up with a phone call and talked with several representatives and was told that their only solution was to apply metal paint. I voiced my concerns, since there was no explanation as to how this could happen. I was told about warranty and installation, but nothing to do with as it relates to a safety issues. I did go on record that I was concerned about my and my family safety, to continue to use a microwave that has overheated.

My 86 year old mother purchased her french door refrigerator freezer a coup
My 86 year old mother purchased her french door refrigerator freezer a couple years ago. About 3 months ago the ice maker and water dispenser quit working. Then in Christmas day her refrigerator freezer quit working. We called the extended warranty company. They had a man come out January 6th (12 days after the unit went out) to assess. He ordered the needed part that day. The part didnt come in until January 15th. Needless to say, it still hasnt been repaired... the repairman is scheduled to come on January 20th for repair. They did not offer to rent her a refrigerator freezer during this time. She is on medication that must stay refrigerated. This is unacceptable customer service. We will see what transpires on Wednesday.

We redid our kitchen in August 2012 and purchased three Samsung products - a stove, a refrigerator and a dishwasher. This review is about the dishwasher. Ive already submitted a review about our stove. We purchased our Samsung dishwasher, Model #DMT 300RFS/XAA in August 2012 for $515. Our first repair was on 22 Jan 2014, the float level sensor had to be replaced, and the cost was $208.21.The next problem happened on 6 May 2015. The case sensor and brake have to be replaced and the cost will be $316.24. If we have this repair done, and we wont, this substandard appliance will have cost us $515 (original cost) + $524.45 (2 x repairs) = $1039.45. Note: the repairs alone total more than the cost of the dishwasher. Weve now got a 225 lb. paperweight in our kitchen.

I highly recommend this tv! The picture Quality is out of this world! The sound is exceptional before even using a sound bar. We now prefer to watch everything on this tv then going to the cinemas as we feel we get a better experience at home with this tv and the Samsung Qn90B sound bar. Our only regret was not getting the 85”!! Though still satisfied with the 75”. After this, it will be hard to settle for anything less. You won’t regret purchasing this product. It brings old and new to life. You will feel like you are there in person. Detail and colour quality will blow you away! A good investment! Enjoy! P.s your friends and family, once they see the quality, they too will want one.

Bought this Samsung refrigerator (Rf263beaesr) because we thought Samsung was always high quality. So wrong, had this for 3 years, it was trouble free for one year, after that, problems with the icemaker, ice building up inside, water leaking into the fridge, ice building up around the fan, needing to empty refrigerator, turn off, and totally defrost, dont waste your money. Theyre pieces of junk. Im so mad, retailers should not sell Samsung refrigerators. I have a GE fridge in my garage, bought it 25 years ago, for $400.00. Still works perfect. Thats where we put our food when we have to thaw out the Samsung every couple of weeks. RETAILERS... Stop selling Samsung refrigerators, and ripping off customers. It makes you look bad!

I purchased a black stainless steel appliance package and its been a nightmare. Initially the stove was scratched during installation, so they sent me a new one. The new one sounded like it was about blow up and clicked and clicked. The lady said it was because its cold in Colorado?! They swapped it out. Then there is the refrigerator. With the first one, the right door wouldnt stay open, so they sent out someone to fix it. After he fixed it, the right door stayed opened, but the left one didnt. They claimed thats how they are supposed to work for efficiency. No, thats simply not true. They sent a new one. This one had a terrible buzzing and humming sound every time it turned on. They sent me another one. This one was even worse, but the good news is that the doors stayed opened. Clearly how they should work. So, I let them know about the loud sound and they sent me another one. Its the worst one of the three. Im at a loss. Does Samsung just make a terrible product? The dishwasher doesnt clean the dishes. I always rinse them and make sure there isnt much of anything on them. And it stinks!! I keep the door open, which is annoying. Very very disappointed in the products. This has been going on since I purchased them less than 6 months ago. I have spent hours upon hours trying to talk to someone, emailing, and waiting for my 8 different appointments. I do not recommend their appliances at all. They look good, but not worth the money.

After 18 months and final payment to Best Buy for my Samsung refrigerator, my ice maker stopped working. The fridge has consistently been leaking water at the left corner of the fridge and the front panel under the ice dispenser and inside the door. Called Samsung to complain, they say its out of warranty and will not pay for the repair. Did some research and discovered there are thousands of people on the web and facebook at SAMSUNG REFRIGERATOR RECALL U.S.A. NOW making the same complaints. There are also lots of people posting photos of reimbursement checks for Samsung products including my fridge but not after months of hassle. Now, Ill be joining the many that have filed complaints with the BBB of New Jersey.

I purchased the Samsung OTC Microwave SMH9087ST from Sears in 11-2010. The microwave started having problems. About 6 months later, it was showing SE error on the display and nothing would work. I got the troubleshooting info offline and it told how to flip the circuit breaker and reset it. I did that and once in a while, it worked but would always go back to SE error. In 12-2011, it began to randomly turn itself off and on in the middle of the night, and throughout the day. The light would kick on. The fan would turn on and off. It starts beeping. It has gotten so frightening we keep it unplugged now and it wont reset at all now. Sears says it is beyond the warranty when I called in Dec. 2011. I have seen tons of complaints posted on them but no one will do anything. Samsung is in denial and Sears is worthless. I have a Samsung oven that I purchased at the same time and we love it, but I wont be buying any Samsung appliances anymore after the way they have mishandled this.

I purchased my Samsung Refrigerator only a year and a half ago and it started to make a loud noise. Had it serviced and the service professional advised it was a build up of ice in the mechanisms causing the fan to not spin properly. He advised this was a fault of the POOR DESIGN and that it would continue to have this issue! I have been online looking for solutions to this issue that would be less costly than engaging a repair man each time and found hundreds of videos by Samsung refrigerator owners who are experiencing the same issue. Tell me why a company would continue to build a product and sell it to the public KNOWING it has a critical fault. I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER SAMSUNG PRODUCT. I have no confidence in the companys ability to build products. Not one refrigerator should have left their warehouse after they realized the fault in the engineering. I had a Whirlpool for 15 years and NEVER once had it repaired.

My wife and I live in Everett, Pa. We had purchased two Samsung products from Lowes, a microwave model SMH 9187 ST and a top of the line Stainless French door fridge, in Altoona, Pa. After a short period the ice maker light would not reset on the fridge for which we paid for an extended warranty. After calling Lowe’s we were told we live outside the 50 mile radius for service. After calling Samsung we’re told there was no one in the area to service the unit. The only option was to replace the fridge with a new one to solve the minor problem. DUH! After days I finally got it to reset. Another problem was we had water leaking from the ice maker unit. Again no service was available. It seems I had replaced the filter unit made by Samsung made in Korea and it was defective. I found this out after driving 100 miles round trip to try another unit. If I did not have some technical skills for repair I would have been out of luck. Our microwave failed showing the code SE. Again I could not get service and was told by Samsung it was still in warranty. After many calls they referred the problem to a BGH Electronics in Cumberland Maryland. After 9 days waiting for a call I found out the repair was canceled. I suspect they did not want to drive the 2 hours round trip. I again got back with Samsung and now was told the unit was NOT in warranty and I was on my own to get it repaired. Fortunately I found that this unit has a design flaw where steam from the stove will corrode the contacts in the control panel. A simple video on YouTube shows how to clean the contacts and after that the unit works fine. I am not happy with Lowe’s in Altoona, Pa selling Samsung products to folks outside the 50 mile area that cannot get service. I will buy appliances from local stores that can provide service if needed and it will not be a Samsung product.

I purchased my microwave in 2010 Serial # J4LVMOSC00753V. After about 2 years I got the infamous 5E error. I found information on the internet as to how to repair it myself. When I opened the front of the unit to access the inside of the control panel, I found that the hot wire connector was melted. I must have been very close to a fire! I replaced the connector and dried the wires to correct the 5E error. The 5E error reappeared again after a few months. I again dried the wires. To keep the story short, the 5E error appeared more and more frequently, until finally it was happening weekly. The unit is now waiting for the junk man to collect it.

I remodeled my kitchen 4 years ago and purchased all new Samsung appliances. They were magnificent looking! However, the microwave touch panel malfunctioned after just a few months and went completely black... no lights. Samsung repaired it due to a recall on the panel. Now four years later it is out again! I had to purchase a new microwave today... NOT SAMSUNG. The range already has one malfunctioning burner so now Im down to 3 burners. The refrigerators ice maker stopped working after 7 months.... cost $450 to replace. Samsung only guarantees the ice maker for 5-6 months. Only Samsung repair people can fix your appliances because no one else can get the necessary parts, so the repair charge is double that of other appliance repair businesses. The dishwasher cleans horribly and leaves grit in EVERY glass/cup. The welded stainless steel walls of the dishwasher came apart and my husband had to repair them with rivets. I refuse to spend another dime repairing Samsung products. I will gradually replace them when they break completely. STAY AWAY FROM SAMSUNG!!!

We bought a refrigerator in June 2012 and it stopped working in November. We used the warranty service and they came out and stated they had to order a part. We already lost $200 worth of food and had to cancel our family Thanksgiving at this point. The part came in on 11/20 and the service company sent us a link to make an appointment. We selected an available appointment on 11/23 and took off work to be there. The service folks (Tech Pro Plus) never came. We looked online and they had changed our appointment to 11/28. After hopeless calls to the service company and Samsung, evidently the service place was closed that day. We went back to the link and scheduled an appointment for 11/26. Again, took work off to be here only to find that they again changed the appointment to 11/28. Samsung stated they have no control over the service company and that is garbage. Any company you use is a reflection on you! So incredibly disappointed and feel like weve been taken advantage of with this warranty service.

Despite the bad reviews for the Samsung slide in stove, I was smitten by the good design. Moreover, online specifications (since changed by Samsung, but I still have the original) offered a broad range of heights to fit a higher counter top than average. For the last 10 months since its purchase, I kept the stove top like-new, wiping carefully with baking soda if necessary, after every use. With no apparent reason, the stove cracked in the middle and NOT EVEN when in use. It happened literally overnight. A straight crack, it was deemed a heat crack (isnt this a stove?) and the warranty covered its replacement. Still, there should be NO excuse for any product to be so shoddy. I have read about multiple cases of other cracks, some considered the consumers fault, but I doubt it. This and other appliances with absurdly short planned obsolecence should be regulated and the consumers should be better protected.

I purchased a Samsung about 2 years ago. The first year I have several issues with this Refrigerator, but was able to get help on Samsungs helpline. As of today my Samsung-RS265TDP started acting up so again I contacted support, I was having problems with my Refrigerator side not cooling down. Error code, # 5-E & 22-E. We spent several hours trying to reset the system as they guided me through the manual. Next day tried to get more help on these issues, but all I ended up with was about 5 long hours of being shuffled around the world while speaking to people who could hardly understand. I finally got to a representative in SC, who thought he could resolve my problems. But again I was transferred to someone else who had no clue, only that they wanted to sell me a $387.00 one time warranty contract. After doing a little research on this machine, I have found several Class action lawsuits are going on. I contacted a local company and did get my problem resolve for a little less money. The Tech I had advised me as to Samsung has sent out bulletins on this and similar Machines. It is just so sad when you spend almost $1800 on a item and find out 2 years later that Samsung was and is aware of these conditions and still manufacturing these refrigerators. It is kinda funny when you purchase an item at first, how salespeople are very helpful. But when you have some problems they are no place to be found. Personally I thought Samsung was a quality product, but after this ordeal I would not or advise anyone to purchase any of Samsungs Refrigerators. Anyone who has had same issues should do some research online, maybe the big Samsung would try to help people out with all these knowingly faulty problems.

Bought this fridge in Feb 2015, I think it was just under a year and noticed a noise in the fridge like a grinding rattling, at the same time the ice machine stopped giving ice. A month later I started noticing the door fridge temp looked normal but the inside was much warmer and we kept blaming our grocery store for the spoiled milk we were going through. I then noticed the rear wall had ice building up through the holes, I decided to unplug it to defrost overnight and load everything into coolers. The noise went away and when I finally got the icebox to pull out I found the interior to be iced right solid. I chipped away the ice and again left it to defrost completely. This lasted for about 3 months and it all started again. I started doing research and to my shock realized these fridges were lemons and the company didnt stand behind their product and in fact in the U.S. there was a Class Action Suit. Last week I finally called Samsung Electronics Canada and told them of the issues and of the Service Bulletin ASC20170602002 for the icebox. They told me I was out of warranty and would cover only the parts, I flat out refused and insisted labor be included. I do feel confident even if this repair was covered by them that the repair would only come back as these fridges look nice on the outside but are of poor design. I have made a complaint to BBB as well as I will be pursuing all other avenues to make these issues public, I cant believe this company hasnt been exposed yet with how they treat their customers.

January 3, 2015 I purchased a scratch and dent Samsung french door refrigerator with ice maker in the freezer unit. It came with a 1yr. warranty from Samsung and I purchased a 5yr. warranty from Lowes. It was delivered and installed by Lowes on January 6, 2015. It started to produce ice and it produced half a gallon bag of ice and then quit. We went through the manual which gave us no direction. I turned off the ice maker so that it would not burn up. I called Samsung January 9, 2015. They walked me through the troubleshooting and told me that because the ice maker was turned off, I had to wait 48 hrs. for service. They called me back on January 12, 2015 and again a different associate walked me through the same trouble shooting process but added a twist, which was the rollers where touching the floor and therefore Lowes had to come back out and give the refrigerator a 2 inch tilt. That seems ridiculous however we jumped through the hoops. I went on live chat with Samsung January 15,2015 and again that associate was going through the same trouble shooting process. Really, does anyone do service anymore? I let him know that it is unacceptable to have a refrigerator only one week old. With full warranty and not be able to get it serviced. I had bought Samsung fridge freezer side by side and bought quite early as it was on special offer and our home had just started the renovation. So when the delivery came did not open as we put trust on the consumer products and because it was dusty in the house. I just kept it in the box. Once the renovation was done opened the box so excitedly and what do I see? Big dent on the door and small dent on the side of the fridge. We rang Samsung straight away and explained to them what we found and why we delayed on opening the box. But they did not want to know as it was over 28 days. I ask them to just replace the door and that has big dent but No. We have families and friends come to visit us and they see the dent on the door and they laugh. Not on us but on Samsung, and they say See SAMSUNG ARE NOT GOOD.There is no reliability that Samsung offers to their customers after the product is sold. Reading all the other reviews, looks like these problems are just a beginning. I have Samsung products that we have are phones, TV, DVD recorder. We have had issue only with our Samsung fridge freezer, but with this experience we promised ourselves not to purchase any Samsung merchandise in the future. Very very poor service from Samsung home appliance and customer relations. The oven temperature climbs and lowers all during the baking process. Totally inconsistent. Horrible for baking cakes! I bought a portable oven thermometer to monitor it. I can set the oven for 350 and the actual temp in the oven will be 375 one minute and 325 a few minutes later. There is also a 25 degree temperature variance from front to back and side to side in the oven. Forget cooking more than one item at the same temperature. When you buy such a big oven you plan on being able to utilize the space by cooking more than one item, but beware, they will be cooking at different temperatures. The top low burner is not low at all. It boils everything. The long middle high burner is okay on one end and way too crazy hot on the other end with flames so tall they lap over my skillet. My last two attempts to contact customer service have left me at a dead end. I was told there was no number for me to contact and that I must wait to receive a call from Samsungs Office of the President. After over 3 weeks without a stove and not a single follow-up call from Samsung, you can only imagine how frustrating this is. On 9-17-2012, I contacted Samsung Customer Service to report that the stove top did not work and caused large electrical surges in my house. On 9-19-2012, I called Customer Service again because no one had called me back. They apologized for the slow follow-up and got me in touch with Elite Services, a repair company in Greeley, CO.On 9-21-2012, the service company looked at the stove and determined that the entire mechanical components of the stove top needed to be replaced. According to the service company, an order was placed through Samsung. On 10-3-2012, after no follow-ups from Samsung or the repair company, I called again, only to determine that Samsung dropped the ball and that nothing was happening. From what I gathered, the part for my brand-new stove was no longer made and they would see if there was some sort of alternative part. My confidence continued to dissipate. On 10-3-2012, I emailed the Office of the CEO through the Samsung Customer Service website and received an automated reply that I would be contacted in 1-2 business days. On 10-8-2012 at 8:30, I contacted customer service again since I have not received any calls from Samsung. They basically told me my issue was being reviewed by a manager and that someone would be in touch with me by the end of the day.On 10-8-2012 at 4:00 PM, after not hearing back from Samsung, I called again. They said the issue was being handled by the Office of the President. It was not possible for me to speak to anyone, but someone would call me possibly that night. I could not call anyone in the Office of the President. I was told they would have to call me. There was a refusal to put me in touch with a person that had the authority to handle my issue. Again, I was told to be patient and wait.On 10-9-2012 9:45 AM after not hearing back from Samsung, I called again and of course, got the same answer. Customer service could not help me nor provide any answers. I must only wait for someone from the Office of the President to call me. A timeline was not provided and I was told that there was nothing else that customer service or I could do but to just wait for a call back.I researched a phone number for Samsung corporate, 201-229-4000. I was put on hold and waited to speak with customer service from the Office of the President. After a couple of minutes, a message came on and said the call volume was too high and to leave a message and theyll call me back. Through research, I think the President of this Samsung department is David Choi.Certainly, I am very disappointed with the complete lack of care, concern, follow-through, etc., from Samsung on a brand new product. I am very concerned that there is no confidence on the proper repair for a part that is no longer made. I wont settle for anything but a repair that makes the stove operate like new, or a new stove. I have not had a stove to cook on for over 3 weeks now and I have given Samsung ample time to correct this. Here is an excerpt from Samsung’s Code of Conduct: 12 - Principle 3. We respect customers, shareholders and employees. The Company will endeavor to reach just resolutions of customer-related disputes and will respond to the complaints of customers in a transparent, timely and effective manner. This has not been transparent, timely or effective.

I purchased a new Samsung refrigerator, RS265TDWP, on 8/20/2012 from my local Best Buy and I did not purchase the extended warranty on it. It stopped cooling the refrigerator section on 3/10/2016, 3 years and 6 months old and in less than 24 hours box went from 34* to 54* causing me to scramble to save contents and make plans for service/repairs heading into the weekend. I called the phone number inside the refrigerator which stated it was for factory guaranteed repairs or accessories and did receive prompt response from whoever they were on the East Coast. However the local repair service they told me would be contacting me in 24-72 hours on the West Coast to perform repairs had a number of not so favorable reviews when I researched them online locally. Being out of warranty and with no extended warranty I knew I would be responsible for all repair cost. After thinking about the reviews for about 5-6 hours on a Friday afternoon I went another direction. I had another repair service person working on my refrigerator by 5:30 that evening and he told me the story of the notoriously lousy Samsung Refrigerator saga regarding this problem. His comment prior to starting, frozen evaporation fan, frozen coils, etc., etc. Findings once began work, evaporation fan motor frozen stuck, evaporation coils frozen over, insulation saturated (ruined), unit needs manual defrosting, back panel unit needs replacing. Because he sees this all the time, he stocked Samsung back panel in his service vehicle, good for me I guess, at least I did not have to wait another week for parts to come. He had job completed in about an hour and repairs totaled $411.09. Buyer Beware the internet is full of similar stories regarding Samsung refrigerators and this freezing over problem. Many have been a class action lawsuit filed against Samsung for this. My suggestion, do not buy Samsung Refrigerators without doing your homework and really investigating this issue.

When our microwave broke, we were planning to replace with the same brand we had, but the Samsung was such a handsome model, we were drawn to it. The price was better than the one we had, it looked better, and once it was installed (very easy, by the way) it was quieter than the old one, and worked just as well.

Purchased this microwave in 2010. Last night my SE error came on. Contacted Samsung today after reading all the reviews and was told there was no warranty on this model or recall and that Samsung was not responsible. I just had to replace my dishwasher that I have only had for 3 years that was a Samsung and also my Samsung refrigerator that is only 5 years old is also having problems. I have never experienced a company that does not stand by their products or their customers. I think everyone should just boycott this crappy company and their crappy products.

We moved into a townhouse with Samsung Appliances - stove, refrigerator and microwave. The refrigerator periodically buzzes so loud it is obnoxious for a relatively new but out of warranty refrigerator at 6 years old. (Our 22 year old Kenmore at the family cabin is still as quiet as the morning dawn.) I was told by Samsung help to connect the ice maker and the buzzing noise should go away. I had to hire a plumber to run a water line to the refrigerator and connect it. $500 later, I still had a buzzing refrigerator. I called Samsung and was informed the only thing they could offer was their authorized repair service to come out to our seasonal Minnesota townhome and fix it as it is out of warranty. Unique Services Repair Tech came out and felt like the noise was fan-related and recommended replacing fan. Part needed to be ordered, Tech returned a week later, installed and another $500; today we still have a buzzing refrigerator. Called Samsung and a different Unique Services Tech visited over a week later and said the refrigerator is just noisy and the noise cannot be eliminated. We have spent $1000 and still have a buzzing refrigerator. We should have been told that the Samsung model we have runs loud and it cannot be fixed. We would have bought a new refrigerator. The first Unique Services Tech should have told me our refrigerator model runs loud and we cannot fix it. Instead, we spend $365 for a new fan plus the service call $’s charge for a part not needed. Both Samsung and Unique Services are yet to reply to my bad experience. I suspect both Samsung and Unique Service Repair are better than this. From a Customer Service standpoint, I am disappointed at being blown off by their non response to my communicated concerns.

There is a sensor to defrost the fridge and send the water created down a drain for evaporation. This sensor fails to work causing water to pool inside either under the crisper drawers or the cool select pantry. If the water is not noticed, it will ultimately flow from the unit onto the floor. Sometimes this sensor will also cause freezing of the fan that keeps air circulating in the refrigerator. Personally, I had this problem repaired on 4/3/12 and today, 10/29/12, I have called Samsung to report that it is happening again. Their customer service stated that the repair is not covered, is out of warranty and they will not pay to replace/repair. I decided to do a little research via the web and after typing in various forms of the following question: water leaks in bottom of fridge, water under food drawer, water leaking from fridge, etc, I have come across over 2,000 inquiries to this question just from the Samsung website. When I visited other sites, i.e. AppliancePartsPros.com and ConsumerAffairs.com, I saw another 500 plus complaints. So how do we get Samsung to admit this is a defective part and correct the problem for all of us? I slipped on my tile floor because of the water and now have my ankle in a brace. Other folks have complained about flooring becoming damaged, food loss, all sorts of problems because of this defect. I cant afford to keep calling a serviceman out for the same problem and probably lots of others feel the same. Thank you for looking into this matter.

We bought Samsung fridge on 11 June 2016 (Model No. RT39K5538S9) from BAJAJ ELECTRONICS. Within a week started formation of ice inside the fridge. We kept quiet and it started leaking water in 1st month. We raised compliant (No. **). Customer care people instead of coming to site and rectifying they instructed to do switch off the fridge let the ice melts. We did and one week it is fine. Again started forming ice. Again we raised compliant (No. **). Service engineer came this time and said PCB and Sensor needs to be replaced. Why Samsung is selling damaged products to customers? Without a proper check they are supplying products to the showrooms which is causing problems to consumers. We bought that fridge with 44,000 and suffering a lot. Instead of replacing the product if it is having problem they are repairing the fridge as it is 5 or 10 year old fridge. Disgusting. We informed all our apartment, colleagues and friends, approx. 75 people, not to buy Samsung products and they will not buy for sure.

On February 21, 2012, I purchased a Samsung DMT300 Series from Sears. The machine never operated well. Dishes, especially glasses, were always dirty after the machine ran. The dishwasher broke down and would not operate. I called Samsung to have it repaired under warranty on Monday, October 29, 2012. According to their records, my dishwasher was over a year old. I told them I had the receipts and then faxed and emailed them the receipts as requested. Samsung outsources their repairs to local vendors. I was given the name and phone number of a local vendor along with a ticket number (**). The earliest appointment the repair shop could give me was for Monday, November 5th. I was told I would get a call in the morning to let me know what time the service person would be coming. No call came at all. I did call three times and was told someone will get back to me. It is now Tuesday morning and still no call has come. Bottom line, do not buy Samsung products. Their warranties are useless and their dishwashers are pieces of garbage.

Samsung is fully aware of the defective clips that will break from the top rack of their dishwasher and the clips get lodged in the pump motor and the dishwasher will not run. Their solution to the guaranteed reoccurring problem is to allow one time only repair outside of warranty and then the consumer is on their own after that. What they should do is proceed with a recall of the part and provide a retrofit or, at the very least, provide unlimited repairs to the consumer. My whole entire house is equipped with Samsung products and I placed my confidence in a company that doesnt back their products. There was simply no help offered or even concern regarding this defect. Simply put, I was told, We know and youve already used your one time allotted repair. BUYERS BEWARE. SAMSUNG DOES NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCTS, EVEN WHEN THEY KNOW THERE IS A DEFECT. The last repairman that came to my house left replacement parts for me because he knew it would happen again. REALLY??? Where is a lawyer when you need one??

We purchased this range in the Fall of 2016, Model #NE58K9430, with digital dials. There are several things that are disappointing. It is very hard to keep the glass top clean (this is not my first glass top range). Cannot use pot or pan that is not smooth on the bottom as it will scratch the surface. Consequently, I had to purchase new cookware. If you get too close to the digital panel, even your clothes will make it come on. If you get too close, the lock will come on and the only way to get it off is to flip the fuse box!!! I am short and reaching over to clean the top, the timer button will come on, the warmer button will come on, the self clean button will come on, and that is with only clothing touching. I am at the point of throwing this in the garbage dump. No wonder Lowes had it on sale, which even at $1000 it was no deal. Cannot find order info, but was purchased at Lowes Hardware, N. Myrtle Beach SC. I would NEVER recommend Samsung Appliances to anyone.

Samsung customer service is equally crappy. Its worse than dealing with a government office! I wish I had my old, portable, hook-up-to-the-faucet dishwasher back! It was 10 times better than any of the new, name-brand, expensive dishwashers out there now! Unfortunately we gave that one away. On May 12, 2016 my Samsung side-by-side refrigerator (model RSG257AAWP) that I purchased on April 14, 2012 stopped cooling. It has been an absolute nightmare trying to work with Samsung to have someone come out to diagnose the problem. It is now May 23, 2016 and I am still calling Samsung trying to find resolution. I was assigned to a repair service (Home Service Network) on May 14th. On May 16th they informed me that they dont have any technicians that could work on my refrigerator. I called Samsung back and my ticket was reassigned to another repair service (Priceless Appliance Services). I was told that companies are to respond in 1-2 business days. I waited. Nothing! I called Samsung again. My ticket was reassigned again (Mr. Appliance of Central Maryland) and again I did not receive a call from this service repair company. When I called Samsung once more, today May 23rd, my ticket is showing that its assigned to Priceless and not even the last company that I was given so it appears that my ticket was not even reassigned. Now Im starting to think that the Samsung warranty policy is a sham. If they refer a customers ticket to enough non-responsive repair companies, at some point, especially with such an essential appliance as a refrigerator, the customer will become totally frustrated and seek to resolve the issue with a non Samsung repair service. This deems your appliance out of warranty even if you only have someone diagnose but not fix the product that you have so desperately tried to seek help for from Samsung. BE AWARE! BE CAUTIOUS! Its probably best to NEVER, EVER purchase Samsung appliances. In the future, I will only purchase appliances made in the USA.

Bought a Samsung electric range (NE595R0ABSR) a little over 3 yrs ago and last week the circuit board caught on fire. Called Samsung about it and they told me that they would take care of the parts required, and all I had to do was pay for the installation from the contracted service repair. Now the third party service repair company told me that I had to pay for the parts and not the repair. The cost of parts a little over $430.00. Might as well buy a new stove and it will certainly not be a Samsung. Hopefully a class action lawsuit will come out against Samsung for their highly dangerous stove. I seen on a Canadian website that a few of them had the exact same problem. I will ensure that all Airmen under my command know what horrible customer service Samsung has and how dangerous their products are. I do not want any of them to have to worry about problems from their appliances when they are deployed.

Samsung Counter Depth Smart French Door Refrigerator - We purchased our refrigerator in February of 2017. The icemaker performs terribly. This is definitely not a family refrigerator. The icemaker does not even produce enough ice for just the two of us. Sometimes it does not produce any ice at all for no apparent reason. There are other times when it is just slow. It is simply not consistent. The best way to make sure you have ice with this refrigerator is to use ice trays. I can have 16 cubes of ice per tray in 30 minutes as opposed to waiting hours if I depend on the ice maker. I would not purchase this refrigerator again if I could go back and do this all over again.

We bought a Samsung RF32FMQDBSR in April of 2014 and have had nothing but problems with the ice maker. It stops working periodically and then may restart from 1-5 days later. We have had numerous service calls, one of which including replacing the ice maker to get updated software. The software change had basically no effect on the poor operation. This is a big (32 cu ft) 4-door unit that was very expensive. The ice maker design is very poor. The cooling and defrosting within the ice maker is deficient. The typical recommendation from service technicians is to turn the whole refrigerator off for 24+ hours and let it warm up and melt out completely. The ice drawer is very difficult to remove and sometimes cannot be put back in when it is frozen up. THIS IS A BAD DESIGN, and is not going to work correctly no matter how often it is serviced. Even when it is working, water drips from the ice spout and on the inside of the unit. You will rue the day you purchased a Samsung if you get one of these.

I refused an out of pocket service call. Samsung called back 1 wk later asked about any personal or property damage & asked if I would want someone to come out free of charge to repair or replace (if irreparable). After 3 repair visits (not counting the 4 appts that were cancelled/rescheduled after the 2 hr wait EACH TIME). Samsung stated the repair guy had to come out again to troubleshoot w/ a Samsung engineer on the phone. I explained that the repair guy did that @ the last appt, Samsung stated there was no record of it. I also stated that I was aware of the recall involving buttons on the panel sticking. They said I had to make another appt. I refused, spoke to another 2 managers & after 55 min on the phone was offered $130 voucher/check. I was told that was what they could offer w depreciation on the microwave for the last 2 yrs. AND that the microwave costs about $190, so it wasnt so bad. The microwave costs $240 plus. I am glad I do not have to deal w/ them & their incompetent repair outsourcing. I am also glad my children werent the ones using the microwave when the fire occurred. I WILL NEVER BUY SAMSUNG AGAIN. Was beginning to think this was a pretty good refrigerator, side by side model RS263TDWP. My previous refrigerator lasted at least 12 years, was also purchased at Sears, and was a Kenmore side-by-side. My husband is an A/C Tech...he was able to figure out almost immediately that behind the panel on the refrigeration side (freezer was working perfectly throughout all this) that the evaporative fan motor had gone out. After only two years!! These units should be working without problems for at least 8 to 10 years, even in the modern days of refrigerators being built with a computer brain to run them. We bought the part, he had it in within 5 minutes (which I know is lucky for me, but most people have to pay hundreds of dollars for parts and repair, not to mention the wait time for them to actually get there). But I must mention, when he was looking on Youtube for videos to guide the repair, there were many complaints of this same thing (on the internet) happening to other Samsung refrigerators. This is a middle of the line refrigerator, not a cheap one, and I was under the impression if you pay $1,600 for a fridge that it might actually last longer than two years! Very disappointed...would NOT recommend any Samsung refrigerators, because though they are beautiful to look at, you will more than likely be sorry (if you must have one, I would recommend the extended warranty!).

On February 4, 2017 we visited P.C. Richard and Son and we replaced all of our kitchen appliances with brand new Samsung appliances. In July while I was cleaning the glass cooktop on the range, which we purchased for $800, I noticed it was cracked. The crack appears to have started on the Rapid Boil burner and extended in all four directions to the edges of the top. I immediately contacted Samsung support, fully expecting that the damage would be repaired as the range was under warranty. With just two of us in the home, the range is lightly used and well cared for.The customer service agent asked that I send in pictures which I did that afternoon. I received a call from Samsung support looking for the photographs 3 days later – at that point I was told that the pictures would be reviewed and that they would get back to me. Three days later, I received a call from Williston TV and Radio Repair to arrange a time to come out to look at the stove. I expected that Samsung’s agent would be coming to repair the stove, however, when the representative arrived he took more pictures and told me to expect to hear back from Samsung in a few days.A few days went by and I was contacted by Williston and told that Samsung deemed the damage to be physical and as a result would not be covered under the warranty. I asked what the definition of physical damage entailed, and the definition I was provided was basically everything under the sun – cleaning solutions, inappropriate cookware, abuse, etc. In fact it seems that the definition is setup to protect Samsung even in the event of defect.Still in shock, I started to research to see if others experienced the same issue and I was surprised to find many complaints posted to sites online all had a similar story. I’ve attached some of the complaints along with our receipt to this letter. After finding that other consumers had a similar experience, I contacted Samsung to ask for a second opinion, I was told that would not possible so I asked to speak to a supervisor who told me that he would put in a work order for another opinion.Three days later I received a call back from Williston to setup a repair call – I explained that I was looking for a second opinion and was told by the representative that they were the only local Samsung agent and there would be no second opinions. Exasperated I inquired as to the cost to repair the cooktop thinking that a couple of hundred dollars out of pocket would be worth putting an end to this issue. I was informed that the cost to repair the range would be $400 - which is half the cost of range. Even if I pay for the repair, I have no guarantee that the replacement top would not have the same problem because I am convinced that product is defective. My husband and I have used glass cooktops since the 1980s and have never had a problem. The cookware we use has not changed, how we cook and care for the cooktop including cleaning fluids we use have not changed – and yet within 6 months this cooktop is completely ruined and is unusable and here we are in August and we can only cook using the oven and our microwave. I believe that Samsung has an obligation to stand behind its product and the warranty. I expect Samsung to fix the stove top or replace the range.

I have a 15 year old refrigerator, from the time the house was build, and still work in the garage. This is BS. I been read a lot other reviews in the internet, and people had the same problem. I paid $2,058.64 for this crap at Home Depot, and now I have to go out and buy another one. Please don’t waste your money with Samsung.

I purchased a Samsung dishwasher from Sears. I havent even finished paying for it. I called out technician and he advised its $75 for him to come, $170 if he does anything. Apparently, warranty is out before its even finished paying for. I looked at black sludge and it looks like dissolved o-rings he and said its not dissolved o-rings but bugs. Bugs? we asked. Yes, bacteria. He said we must use vinegar every two weeks and glisten every month. It smelled bad all the time and this horrendous black sludge was all over in there under the filter (11 x 3 inch bolts to remove to get under there) by the door seals. So putting it back together, one of the plastic parts cracks when the bolt goes in. Now it shuts off if there isnt enough rinsing agent and wont go. It shuts off if you dont slam the top drawer hard and break a couple glasses. This is a really expensive piece of crap. My mother is devastated as she thought this fancy thing would be the last time she bought an appliance. Its a waste of a pensioners money and Sears says talk to Samsung. Samsung says Sears is the person to contact during warranty and any other repair person who can do Samsung after that. Its not their problem. It never worked well. The quick cycle is two hours. I am sad for my mother and I have had to try to figure it out for her several times. What a garbage!

Again like many of you who have Samsung french door bottom freezers, mine is now 2 year old and my freezer door will not shut properly because of the accumulation of ice in the bottom floor of freezer. So now in the fall and winter every several months I have to take out the top tray of the freezer and crack the ice behind it, wait till it falls on the floor and then clean it up, then the drawer will close. I have done everything they have told me to try and resolve this problem. Now I guess the next step is to call a repair facility to correct a design flaw of Samsung. I wonder if there is a class action lawsuit out there against Samsung. I would like to get in on it! I have already told many people not to purchase Samsung.

I bought a Refrigerator from Bismi, a leading dealer in Kochi for Samsung Products on Feb 20 2014. Attached the bill copy. Unfortunately, the product stops working just after the warranty period over. I contacted customer care, they took the fridge to their service center. After that, there is no information regarding the product. I had contacted the guy who took the fridge several time but I did not get any updates. So I used the chat facility and report the problem, after that I got a call from the CC and said that it is the problem with the freezer component and will take another 7 days to get the part. After raising the same complaint through this email portal, I got a call from the Samsung Head office and the person assures me that technical difficulty of availing the part for replacement and he told me he will update the status eventually and resolve as early as possible. Also he assures a standby refrigerator if he failed to deliver the product before 1st May 2015. But still after the call I did not get any information or updates from Samsung side. It is difficult to manage city life without refrigerator. Moreover I had a 18 month old kid and no one is in my home to get the daily eatables from the market as we are working daily for more than 10 hours. Please let me know whether I had to go for a new one or how long I had to wait for the product to get back. This is the letter I had sent to Samsung authorities, CEO, etc but no use. Today I got back my Fridge with a bill of Rs 3800/- INR.

Excellent value for the money and love the egg holder, extra-large for double pack eggs. The other draws are large also. Very happy!! Also if you have a whole house filter for your home you do not need a filter for the refrigerator saving you money.

So our Samsung refrigerator that we bought for about $3500 stopped working
So our Samsung refrigerator that we bought for about $3500 stopped working entirely three weeks after the five year warranty expired. We called them up and told them they should fix it since its like a car thats completely worthless a couple of weeks after the warranty expires. Nobody would ever buy such a car. So they sold us an extended warranty for $345. After sending four different firms out over a month, they concluded that its not worth fixing. So now they decided to refund our $345. To which I said theyre just running a scam. If Samsung sells us the warranty but has no intention to honor it anytime the repair is expensive, what theyre saying it will only sell you warranty if the warranty repairs are less than what you paid us. Otherwise well just borrow your money for free until we give it back. Sounds like its a total fraud. Please contact me if you have purchased a warranty from Samsung and are interested in participating in a class action lawsuit.

Samsung is the worst name brand appliance I have ever dealt with!! I own multiple properties and their appliances only last one yr!! So when you buy a Samsung product, break down how much you are going to spend into 12 months and then figure out if its worth it!! So far I have had a $350 microwave last one yr and one month. And now a $700 dishwasher last 1 yr n 3 months. And all Samsung will do is tell you its out of warranty!! I give them one yr and they have to change their name because everyone is catching on to the crap they are selling!

After 13 months (just after warranty expired) the icemaker began icing over
After 13 months (just after warranty expired) the icemaker began icing over. I called Samsung who would only send out a paid repair person. I learned how to de-ice it myself and have to do this every three months or so. I just discovered a fix on YouTube which resulted in $200 worth of parts. Now, three years later, there is a solid sheet of ice under the crisper drawer and a very loud fan noise coming from the fridge (RF263BEAESR/AA). Again using YouTube I discovered that ice builds up because of another poor design and I had to remove all the food, all the shelves, including the difficult to remove one above the crisper drawer, and then pry off a back panel and use a hair dryer to defrost it. Ice had built up and the fan was hitting the ice. This is due to a small metal piece that is attached to the heating element, the metal piece isnt long enough and allows the drain to freeze closed. This causes the ice build up. This is an expensive appliance and I am already looking at having to replace it because it is not reliable and requires so much maintenance. My old fridge was a cheap GE that lasted 16 years without a single repair. Samsung knows about the design flaws, has even issued a technical bulletin about it. They refuse to issue a recall and correct their mistake, leaving so many homeowners frustrated. I will not buy another Samsung product as long as I live! There are several class-action lawsuits pending against Samsung in regards to this appliance. Buyer beware, run from Samsung appliances.

I have had a Samsung refrigerator for 5 years. Repeated problems with ice maker freezing up and the cooling system leaking then freezing under the drawer. Have spent $600 in repairs and same problems come back. 2 yr warranty was not enough. Samsung has been unsupportive. Will NEVER buy another Samsung product because of no customer support. Spent over 2K and now 5 yrs later it is worthless.
