Dishwasher never cleaned that well. After one year, error message flashing blue lights. Samsung paid for the service. Their service tech company replaced epoxy-filled circuit board. It worked for two months and then an error message flashing blue lights. Service tech said it is a design flaw, so keep replacing parts will not make it right. Samsung would not give me a contact name to resolve the issue. I bought from Sears and they no longer carry many Samsung dishwashers, and would not answer my questions about the quality of this product.

Apparently either Consumer Affairs OR Samsung does NOT want reviews of clothes washers as that is no longer a product which can be reviewed. Ours is 3 years old, sat in our basement for nearly a year from the time it was new until we finished our house. Only two people in the house, used once every two weeks. Lots of issues with not filling, not pumping water, not spinning. Samsung says Too bad. You should have paid even more than the $520 so we would fix that piece of crap....sucker!

Purchased Samsung FTQ307 in 2012, extended warranty. After 3 years of wonderful use it burns out the inverter and power control board. Contacted Lowes for warranty and they stipulate its out of warranty. I make the purchase to replace burned out cards. It worked for 4 days and burns out in the same fashion. Contacted Lowes again to verify warranty information and then it was under warranty when it originally broke but is not anymore. Contacted Samsung. The glass-top and internals under the glass-top are cover under a 5 year parts warranty. They honored said warranty and added in the labor too since it originally failed under the extended warranty. Technician came out to repair but did not have all the parts. They were on back order. Samsung placed paperwork in to reimburse cost of parts that I installed and began the process of doing a buy back. A few days later Samsung said they never said they were going to reimburse parts cost and that they were would never offer a buy back. Repair guy came out and repaired the stove. 2 hours later it burned out again. Samsung and the repair company have a 30 day labor and 60 day parts warranty. Samsung has now voided all warranty to everything. All my major appliances are Samsung. I will be selling them all with a different company and will not ever own a Samsung device again. In the whole process of dealing with Samsung, they would say and/or offer one thing and the next day take it back or say it never happened. And with the actual repair company Samsung stated that the technician said it was because it was repaired by my hand that I caused the issue, when in fact they did not say that.

Bought a Samsung stove. It’s less than a year old and has a crack in the stove top. Can’t return it to the store. Called Samsung to see if it’s covered under their 1 year warranty and they said it’s not. My wife complains about the uneven cooking from the oven but I can’t return it. Samsung stoves are garbage. Don’t waste your time buying. Poor customer service too.

Our Samsung Nightmare!! Saturday November 23, 2019 Michelle of Forest Grove, OR (You are not alone). My family and I also experienced the same oven catching on fire. We did have to call the fire department. We have spent at least $300.00 eating out and another $300.00 trying to get the smoke out of our home. We adopted a sibling group of (4). December 2016 our 10 year old oven went out. Having a new family we decided to purchase an entire new set of Samsung stainless steel kitchen products. The refrigerator has been a nightmare ice maker leaks never makes ice, (we consistently have a towel in the water tray) the dishwasher will often stop draining we re-run, the Microwave door sticks, however now that the oven caught fire the bottom of the microwave is burned. Lastly we are thankful we were home because our kiddos would not have been able to control fire, while the fire department was in transit. I will never invest in another Samsung Product. Samsung Customer Service line is sad. We spent Thanksgiving getting food from my neighbors and friends. When guest walk-in our home, they say your appliances are beautiful. Our over the range stainless steel MWO was installed professionally on 12/28/12. On March 2, 2015 the little plastic piece inside the stainless steel handle (now theres construction for you) to which the handle is attached to the door cracked and fell out. The small 50 cent piece cannot be purchased of course, a full handle assembly to the tune of $56 is required for this fix. No sooner does the handle arrive in the mail, that the hook-clasp spring inside the door stops functioning and now the door wont even stay shut. This model has the electronics in the door, so replacement is about half the cost of the microwave.A phone call to Samsung this morning (3/18/2015) yielded nothing but frustration. I feel like I am a pretty good Samsung customer with the Samsung Range, Samsung Refrigerator, Samsung 10 tablet, 2 Samsung smart phones and 2 Samsung Smart TVs (40 & 50) and 2 Samsung DVD Players. I would think that level of customer would command a certain amount of loyalty from the company. After climbing up to the 1st level of supervisor, my frustration wouldnt allow me chase it further, since they both did the same search for recalls or problems and essentially used the same word tracks. So now I walk the walk of how much to spend on repairs: The MWO is available at Lowes for $449. Installation/delivery is $125. Repairs: $56 for the new handle; $75 Repairman Trip; a new door costs $200. Refrigerator: The door shelf has had to be replaced to the tune of $80. Samsung looks pretty but seems to lack good construction and durability. I never had any issues with any of my GE appliances; nor those that we sold when I was in remodel construction. Guess Ill go back to GE.

I purchased all new appliances for my kitchen about 5 years ago and chose Samsung. That was a huge mistake. I had to replace the microwave after about 3 years. The refrigerator is now the thorn in my side. About every 60 to 90 days I am having to turn it off and completely defrost it due to freezing around the fan. This has been a horrible experience and I will never buy another Samsung appliance. Reading all the reviews online it appears this is a huge problem nationwide. There should be a recall on all of these refrigerators. I am very unhappy customer.

Bought the Samsung refrigerator about 2 yrs ago. Thought it was a nice refrigerator with pull out freezer on the bottom, easy for kids to use. Well its the the worst. Fan freezes up all the time. Need to keep unplugging it every few weeks to defrost else there this loud awful sound when the fan wants to kick on and cant cause its frozen. Wish I would of wasted soooooo much money on this. And would of kept my old refrigerator.

Bought from HHgregg a Samsung stainless package 08/01/13. Delivered and installed it 09/07/13. Everything worked great for a year except the dishwasher (DW80F800 series with stormwash). This dishwasher was why it took a month because it was an upgrade to the one on order but was out of stock. This dishwasher sucks! Not only does it not dry dishes from the beginning when I got it; yes I use the jet dry liquid rinse aid, error messages now keep coming on even after repairman came and replaced the main board (which took almost three weeks of hand-washing dishes), it does not have a heat drying element. $700 piece of **, after reading all the reviews of the same thing happening with lots of other Samsung dishwashers. As one reviewer said, Samsung needs to stick to making cell phones!P.S. I now have another repair order for this 15 month-old dishwasher and if he cant fix it this time Im gonna insist on a re-select from hhgregg and get a more reliable dishwasher.... The fridge, range, and microwave work well so far but STAY AWAY FROM SAMSUNG DISHWASHERS! ...or anything they should make that requires water. God forbid they start making hot tubs!

We purchased our Samsung Dishwasher from Best Buy in February of 2014 as part of a 4 appliance suite for our kitchen remodel. BIG MISTAKE! We did not buy the extended warranty through Best Buy. The dishwasher started to fail (would not complete the cycle) in February of 2015. It was still barely under warranty so Samsung sent VA Electronics out to repair this problem. Worked until Sept 2015 when the same issue came back and the front door started to leak. Had to pay VA Electronics $99 to come back out to repair the problem, but it just started leaking again! Never buy a Samsung Dishwasher.

DW80F600UTS - We purchased a new dishwasher in August of 2014 but it was not installed until the house was completed in January of 2015. Not only does this dishwasher take over two hours to cycle through, it has NEVER cleaned the dishes. We basically have to wash the dishes before we use it and then use it on the heavy and sanitize cycles. It has become a very expensive dish-drying rack! We have contacted Samsung numerous times and have had a technician here twice. They can find nothing wrong with the machine. According to Samsung it is working within specifications. Apparently dishes with baked on food is acceptable to Samsung. I complained all the way up to the presidents office and was basically told that if another technician came out and found nothing wrong, we would have to pay for the service call. Whatever you do, do not buy a Samsung dishwasher. It is a POS.

I bought a French Door Samsung fridge on 01/07/2017. It was not delivered until 02/04/2017. On 02/10/2018 I called Samsung because the ice maker was leaking and freezing up. They opened a service ticket and told me a service tech would be contacting me. On 02/15 I had not heard from the tech so I called Samsung back they gave me the service centers direct number to call them. I called them today and found out they are going to charge me extra to drive from Provo Ut to Logan Ut. I canceled the service call and I will support the techs in my own area. Samsung said they would not cover it under warranty. There is currently a class action lawsuit that is being looked at for the faulty ice makers because Samsung knows they are faulty and have not fixed the problem.

I am having the same problem as Kimberly from California reviewed back in September on the water filter replacement cartridge DA29-00003G for the SAMSUNG French Door Refrigerator. No matter how hard I try to twist the filter, it will not seat into the receptacle even though it is the correct filter listed in my owners manual. The previous filter is an off brand made by HDX as a replacement for Samsung and it worked fine. The only difference between the two is the locking mechanism on the neck as Kimberly illustrated in her pics and I have attached my own pic as well. I have used SAMSUNG replacement filters before and this is the first time experiencing this problem. This engineering problem needs to be remedied immediately before someone ends up breaking their refrigerator and paying hundreds of dollars in replacement parts or even having to buy a new refrigerator! In the meantime I will return my filter to the store and spend my money on the other brands filter. This is a very poor oversight on SAMSUNGs part!

Samsung Electric Range - My complaint is when you use the self cleaning feature, it burns out something in the control panel and requires a repairman to replace the part. According to the repairman its the way its made and was told not to use this feature. How silly is that? Why buy a self cleaning stove and cant use it??? I tested it again while still under warranty and it did it again for a second time. I am calling Samsung for a full refund. Either way I will surely be running the self cleaning feature more times before the warranty runs out. They will be paying the repair people as much as it takes until warranty is out.

I bought my Samsung French door fridge/freezer in December 2011. It remained in good working order for about a year, giving me a supply of ice. Then the ice maker fell apart about and a few months later I noticed ice accumulating under the produce bins making the drawers impossible to open. Removal of the ice solves the problem for a month then the ice returns. Taking out the ice involves pouring in a lot of hot water; the task is annoying and not a good use of my time at the weekend. I will have to continue this task however as I cannot afford a new fridge and getting a repair seems to be useless according to other reviews.

We purchased a Samsung refrigerator and stove a year ago. The first time I went to use the self-clean feature on the stove the main component fried. It was Thanksgiving week and a time I really needed the oven. It took 2 weeks for a repairman to fix the problem. Two weeks ago we started having problems with the ice maker in the refrigerator. Slushy ice and at times, wed just get a handful of water. Upon research (I know, something I should have done before the purchase), I learned that it is a common problem with Samsung refrigerators/ice makers. People were told they had to empty the thing every 6 months or so, unplug it and let it defrost! Seriously?? In this day and age? The thing is supposed to be frost free. So upset with this purchase! I would avoid Samsung in the future if looking for appliances. They look good, but break down within a year of purchase.

I purchased our Samsung French door refrigerator on 10/1/2011 through Lowes. At that time I also purchased their extended warranty; however, it expired on 10/1/2014, just 5 days short of the failure of our refrigerator. Lowes Service was very kind and immediately transferred me to Samsung, as they told me the sealed system would be covered by the manufacturer for 5 years. The representative at Samsung (after speaking and being transferred to a few different people) told me they would have a Samsung technician contact me within 24-48 hours. This was on 10/10/2014. I did not receive a phone call during this period; however, I did receive an email today, 10/14/2014. The email stated that they do not have a technician in my area, and wanted me to contact them via the supplied number to find a way to accommodate me. I was assigned a new reference number and transferred to multiple people until finally getting to speak to someone in the Executive Customer Relations Department. This person told me that Samsung couldnt repair my refrigerator due to my location, but that they could offer a pro rated buy back of it. I was told to email a copy of my original receipt to an email address they supplied me. I was told to write my name, phone number, and the most recently assigned transaction number on the receipt before emailing it to them. They told me that I would get a response within 2 business days of sending the receipt, but that I should call them if I do not get a response. The buy back is supposedly pro rated at 10% per year of ownership.

Called Samsung every 7-10 days for over 2 months because they never called me back like they promised. As I waited the ice maker quit, then the refrigerator. I kept getting the runaround. I was so disappointed and one day when I called I cried, was told to email the office of the President at Samsung. I did - nothing - finally a representative from the office of the President named Linda called me back, gave me her personal phone extension #. Told me my order was approved & I had to wait another 10 days for a moving company to call me. When I checked my caller ID I realized she was calling from the same call center I had called from every week. They lie to their customers. 2 weeks later I finally got the call. Samsung induction electric range model #NE599N1PBSR - almost immediately this stove top was causing grief. Purchased in Spring 2014 before summer I had placed a call to Samsung to report the problems. I was appeased by the customer service person who declared it was my pots. I had purchased very expensive induction pots and the problem still persisted. I had induction pots as soon as I bought the appliance. I thought they might be inferior. It has continued for 2 years with no solution. Samsung has no record of my problem. Over a month ago Samsungs repair person came to investigate - has been 6 weeks, no callback, I have placed 3 subsequent calls, no callback. I spoke with Samsung today... they have no record, and cant do a thing, they will NOT honor warranty even tho the first complaint was lodged before the expiry of the warranty - once again they have no record of that call. Shame on Samsung. Elements wont work, oven shots off, at best I can use 2 elements at one time. I bought 4 Samsung appliances that day and already had the dishwasher serviced also. I have been a fan of Samsung for many years and love the televisions they make. I have three of them. I thought I would get the same quality product in their dishwasher. I purchased the DMT-800RHS. This product, simply put is a lemon. The unit has a water fill sensor, that when it gets a little dirty it produced a 9E fault code. This code will come up every couple of months. Same problem with new parts. Its like having a car that when the engine air filter gets dirty it generates a code and renders the car inoperative. This product is the biggest waste of money at $799. Samsung tech service is heartless and do not really care, only to offer to come and clean the part every couple of months for $150 plus tax. If any water falls into the machine while replacing the water fill sensor you get a LE fault code. This is a leak detection fault. Now you must bring the machine outside, turn it upside down, remove some screws (special screws) which are of a torx type and dry the internal parts. It must air dry over night. Simply put this unit is the biggest lemon and Samsung will not acknowledge it. They simply do not care. I will never buy another Samsung product ever again.

Purchased a French door black stainless refrigerator from Home Depot in 2016. Paid about $4000 for it. The ice maker never really worked well. It leaked constantly causing calcium buildup on the catch tray. Wasn’t too long after that it began to mold around the seal. Eventually it froze up and wouldn’t make ice. Hello, I dont normally get on this and write reviews but the phone call I just had with Samsung just blew my mind. Weve had our stove for 2 years. I just noticed today that the exterior front of the stove is peeling off. It is extremely unsightly and never seen any other product stove peel like this or had had these kinds of issues. Should this be happening after 2 years? This peeling clearly states (from the outside) that its a cheaply made product. The best part is that I called Samsung to see if there is possibly anything we can do for this and to let them know that this is happening. They had no recourse whatsoever and that there is no warranty to cover such a thing.I kindly explained that now, its a thing and asked if theyd be able at least give me some idea on how to go about fixing this issue and they said, no. Then I said, Well then unfortunately Im going to have to write negative review. Is this what your company wants? and then they gave me a dissertation of why I should do that and where the information goes. With all of this said, wouldnt Samsung rather have a positive review by at least someone saying I called Samsung about my peeling stove and that even though there was no warranty to cover this, they provided me with a few service, or with some resources to help fix this issue.

We have had this refrigerator for 5 years. Actually, the freezer and refrigerator work fine, but after 1st year the ice maker would build up ice crystals and then quit making ice. Have tried numerous times to fix it and nothing lasts. A few months ago water started leaking from underneath the refrigerator too. Samsung definitely needs to fix this issue!

My Samsung dishwasher worked perfectly until one day it simply stopped working -- no lights, nothing. I called Samsung and was told if it was the control board it would be a warranty repair, but if it was the front panel it would not be. The authorized service repair company came and --without running any diagnostics -- replaced the front panel, and charged me about $300. The unit worked for a week, and then the same problem reappeared. They came back to do the work. Samsung said would be a warranty repair -- replace the control board -- but then after the work was completed, charged me $140 for the board anyway! After many contacts with Samsung, which agreed repeatedly that the control board was a warranty repair, I was never able to get the money refunded and Samsung failed to follow through with numerous promised phone calls. I would never buy another Samsung product after this experience (which is particularly a shame since Ive been a loyal Samsung customer for years -- phones, TVs, memory cards, etc.).

Samsung Microwave Model SMH9207ST - We have had a Lowes Tech over 4 times due to our malfunctioning microwave. We love the microwave and its styling but we have had issues with it. When the door is opened, it will reset the date/time causing us to reset everything. This problem is off/on and unpredictable. The tech replaced the door already but it continued to malfunction a few months later. He said the door design pinches the wires when opening and closing and Samsung is aware of this. He ordered an updated door design but it has been back ordered several times. Today, the fan came on high all by itself! It scared the crap out of us and I have concerns that this thing isnt safe! What if the oven starts while we are away? I guess we will unplug the damn thing when we are not using it. We have numerous Samsung appliances which we love but this microwave is a dud. These problems are causing me to question Samsungs quality and commitment concerning customer care. Thank goodness for Lowes Extended Warranty as all this would be costly to fix.

We purchased the Samsung OTS microwave, Model No. SMH1713S around three years ago. Last month, the fan malfunctioned and will turn on when you open the door. Just last week, the microwave stopped working at all. We (unfortunately) have a Samsung washer and dryer, which has been serviced three times and we are about ready to replace it... Its three years old. We also have a Samsung refrigerator that has been serviced once and a glass-top stove, all purchased around the same time and all with issues! I cant believe how much money we have wasted on this company. They may make good TVs but they need to get out of the appliance business!!!

The dishwasher has NEVER cleaned the dishes well. You have to wash them before you put them in the dishwasher. A repairman came out to fix it under warranty after a month and could not find anything wrong with it. It leaves food on the dishes and silverware. It has features similar to others of this price range, but they arent labeled very well and you are left wondering if you did something wrong to make the dishwasher clean so poorly. Normal dishwasher size. I would never buy a Samsung product again, whether it was a phone, a TV, dishwasher, anything.

This is my second horrible review of Samsung Refrigerators. I purchased a new side by side Samsung Refrigerator one year ago after having an old 28 year old GE Refrigerator that gave me no problems whatsoever. I purchased a 4 year warranty (what a waste of money). So the last time I complained about the scratches on the part where you fill your glass with water and ice and Samsung said that is cosmetic and nothing can be done. I suppose you should be using paper cups to fill your water instead of glass. The refrigerator already looks like it is about 20 years old. This time the large shelf in the middle of the refrigerator cracked for no apparent reason. I contacted Samsung and they again told me that this is not covered (what a surprise). I will never buy anything that has a Samsung name attached to it!!!

I cant remember how many times we have had the repairman out for this worthless machine. For a variety of problems including broken clips which found their way into the motor area and water intake problems. One of the wheels on the bottom rack frequently comes off. Yesterday, the machine stopped working again, this time with no error message. It starts by draining (okay), then starts water inflow (okay) and then does nothing as the clock counts down. I now agree with my husband that it is not worth fixing AGAIN and time to buy a decent dishwasher. I will never purchase another Samsung appliance ... ever. Many times we would press the button and nothing happens. You need to press the power button then the start button. Both often need to be pressed several times before it works. The cleaning power is weak and the dryer is worse. After a long cleaning cycle, the glasses and dishes are dripping wet. A few times the dishwasher stops in mid-cycle with an error indicator. I bought a Samsung electric stove, refrigerator, and dishwasher mostly because Samsung had received top ratings from JD Power for six years in a row. Within the first six months, the plastic around the edges of the glass shelves began cracking in several places, most of which were in places which could not have been bumped or struck. When I called customer service, their first response was to blame me. After about 15 minutes of discussion they did send me out one new shelf. Within a year, the plastic on another shelf began cracking. Withing three years, one of the front burners on the electric stove stayed on high when set at any level. When I called customer service, I was told that they would send someone out to inspect it, and replace it if necessary with a cost of $200/hr (with a minimum of 1 hour) since I did not buy the extended warranty, but there would be no charge for the part since it was under a 5-year warranty. I offered to send them the defective part if they would send me a replacement. They refused, saying that I would have to pay the $200/hour service charge to get the part under warranty. I had to pay $47 to get the part, despite the warranty, so I could replace it myself. Within six months, the other front burner had the same defect. I can only guess that Samsung was able to buy the high rating from JD Power because of the problems and extremely poor customer service I experienced with the Samsung products I have purchased.

We bought a $2500 digital four-door refrigerator from Samsung (model RM255LASH-XAA; serial number 40504043EP100202-Z) through Lowes four years ago. Not a year later, we had trouble with the ice-maker. Luckily, it’s under warranty and we had a tech out to replace it. Again, the same thing happened a year later. This year, 2012, we noticed a leak underneath which caused a puddle on the floor beneath the refrigerator. It’s out of warranty. We called a technician ($100). After extensive search, we found out that it was the defrosting system. It was not working and we needed a new complete defrosting system ($500) as Samsung didn’t replace the heating part alone. We will manually have to defrost it ourselves in the future, which is ridiculous (back to the stone age). We did not want to put a dime more into such an expensive appliance. We will not trust Samsung again for purchasing.

In approx May 2015 we purchased the Samsung RFF18HFENBSR French door refrig/bottom freezer from Home Depot. Our renovations got delayed so we did not start using it until August. I gave it one star because it looks and fits great but the following year (after the warranty was over) multiple things started happening. First no ice, then water in right crisper and water under both crispers freezing up. I went online and this has been a problem with Samsung refrigerators, many models, for years. I didnt call them because after researching they were not even returning calls to those that had warranties. All I can say to those shopping, absolutely do not purchase their refrigerators. This is a continuing problem. I have to call a repair guy but more annoying is it may possibly be a simple fix. There is a problem with the heating coil not keeping the water from freezing in a little hole. So their fix was a metal piece that doesnt quite reach the hole too short so it wasnt a fix after all. So water freezes in the hole, then no ice, water in right crisper and water under both crispers that freezes. It also creates frost in the freezer and food in the refrigerator freezing. But now I have to pay god knows how much money for a repair guy, empty everything out of my refrigerator again. Some repair guys are also saying you have to replace the thermostat piping or something like that. Dont buy this. I never do this but I have a refrigerator in my garage that is 12 years old and has never had a problem and Samsung although they were aware from previous models continued to just make it with the same problem knowing it still didnt fix it.

Since purchasing my refrigerator, weve had to replace the shelving on both doors a total of 10 times at a cost of $41.00 per shelf. The plastic around the interior shelf and drawer systems has also broken. I researched the product and found the shelving was determined to be defective. I contacted Samsung to see if they provided alternative replacement shelving to replace the defective shelving. First off I attempted to chat with a Samsung representative, they could not understand English and I was asked to to simplify my words. I then called Samsung and was told they did not have an alternative replacement, they would not provide replacement shelving, they would not discount the cost of the replacement shelving, and basically notify me there was nothing they could or would do. I am a long time Samsung customer, and I will never purchase another Samsung phone, computer, television, or appliance from this corporation. The original cost of this refrigerator was $1,300 and I was told it had it should last an estimated 10 years, which is a joke. The problems started when 3 months after it was purchased. I work with manufacturers of appliances on a daily basis as a regional manager in the multi-family housing industry and have never had a company care less than the Samsung customer service agent I spoke with. To not even offer the known defective replacements parts at a discount is unheard of.

I bought this refrigerator because of the high tech features. For weeks I tried to sync my calendar from my phone to the refrigerator screen with no success. I admit I am not that savvy on tech, but I had two people who are and they gave up. I had the box for less than a year. The lock on the water/ice control comes on and you have to go through the screen to find the lock and unlock it. For the second time, the dispenser will not toggle from ice to water. The entire part was replace less than a month ago and I am having the same problem. I love the idea of high tech and the integration but clearly, if you cant get a Samsung phone to sync with the Samsung refrigerator there is a problem. This was NOT a cheap unit so I am frustrated to pay so much and have nothing but problems. The customer service is terrible. They always tell you to reboot the computer or turn off the refrigerator and refresh it by plugging it back in after a minute. Easier said than done. The refrigerator is in a cabinet and I have to roll it out and squeeze in to unplug it and plug it in again. I had a Kenmore for 15 years and never had to unplug it and plug it back in to get it to work. I am very dissatisfied with this appliance.

Problems from the start and are with both ovens either separate or together in convection. After 4 visits and some part changes, there is no change. I did a few extensive digital and analog temperature tests to document that: 1) The initial at temperature beep is usually close but then over time, the temp drifts down to over 100 degrees F below where it should be. 2) When I restart the oven because its too cool, the oven display confirms the low temperature I measured. 3) As the oven restart, the convection fan or fans blow such hot air the food in the middle of the oven that the food is burnt to black while food not in the center or on different racks is not burnt. 4) The restart temperature once the beep sounds is accurate. 5) The convection fans are always blowing the hottest air straight out the middle. Not circulating the air around or reversing fan direction once and a while. So a blowtorch on food in the middle of the oven. From reading web forums, cnet in particular, seems like all of these Samsung ovens do pretty much the same thing. Seems like a programming problem in the firmware. Resolution is under review by Samsung. But do I even want another fix or a replacement? No. I want a refund and Ill buy a different brand.

I bought a Samsung 4 door convertible refrigerator 3 years ago. Several months ago the top refrigerator compartment was no longer cooling. I visited the Samsung website and created a service ticket. Within a couple days I had a Samsung technician at my home to diagnose and repair my refrigerator. After 15 minutes the tech informed me that my refrigerator was unrepairable. The technician said my refrigerator had a 5 yr warranty on the closed system and he would upload pictures and his report to my service ticket and I should expect a call from Samsung within a couple days.Following two weeks, numerous phone calls, and hours on hold I received an offer from Samsung to buy my refrigerator back for the purchase price plus tax. At this point I was relatively satisfied even though my family had been without a refrigerator for over two weeks. That was 5 weeks ago and still no check and no resolution in sight. I have contacted Samsung numerous times and all I get is excuses and runaround. I had read numerous complaints about Samsungs poor customer service, but I was willing to give them the benefit of the doubt; they have failed me. Needless to say there will never be another Samsung product in this house. Appliance buyers beware.

Dirty dishes, repaired 4 times, motor water electrical leak 3 times. Called Samsung. Was told we could purchase an extended warranty. We told the rep we had problems from the beginning, and for the last several months we have not been able to use the dishwasher. Transferred to multiple reps!!! We are told you can purchase an extended warranty. The first repair company was fired by Samsung, new service company came out 2 times to repair the motor water leak. They came out the 2nd time. Advised they did not seal the motor inside & under the motor. We were told to allow 24 hours for the silicone to dry. We gave it 3 days with the dishwasher door open. Hoping the issue was resolved we ran a load. After 40+ minutes we got the LC* warning light. This indicated water to electric leak, its recommended to shut off circuit to the unit to prevent further damage or fire. Today is Sunday 8-1-16, I will contact Samsung on Monday and the service repair company. I do not expect a resolution. I expect to be told you are out of warranty, purchase an extended warranty or we are unacceptable to help you! BUYERS BEWARE.

This Samsung fridge has a SERIOUS design flaw and Samsung has been aware of
This Samsung fridge has a SERIOUS design flaw and Samsung has been aware of it for a long time, per all the blogs, articles and YouTube videos about this problem! Our fridge is 3 mos old and already its doing the symptoms (loud popping/cracking/gurgling noises and water dripping within sealed walls) that our fridge will have this serious problem one day. We do not have a door water/ice dispenser and dont have the bottom ice maker activated. On many Samsung refrigerators, ice builds up on the coils (in sealed section) with the dripping making the buildup a solid, large chunk of ice that eventually BLOCKS the cold air into the fridge and also stops the fan. Samsung tells us the noises are normal but they can send a technician - since this is a design flaw and we dont want the fridge taken apart only to be told to use a hair dryer to defrost that area... We declined the service call. The seller (Lowes) refuses to take the fridge back and substitute a comparable one (cu ft etc) no-cost. The fridge looks nice, has good room and cools (for now) but I dread the day when the fan stops and hope it does not cause a FIRE as a result of the fan blades stopped but the fan motor continuing! If there is a recall or class action measure taken, my email is: **.

Samsung Refrigerator Wont Defrost RSG257AARS - Bought Samsung 12/12 at Best
Samsung Refrigerator Wont Defrost RSG257AARS - Bought Samsung 12/12 at Best Buy on payment plan. From the beginning I dealt with Best Buy, trying to get help. The back of the freezer and all the way down, the ice maker has ice on it. The ice maker does not produce much ice. It makes a lot of noise.

I purchased a French door refrigerator on August 2012 with model # RF217ACPN. Two months after I got the fridge, it started to make noise like popping and snapping, crackling and buzzing. I went to Best Buy and complained about it but they said that it was just normal. In 2014, my crisper started to collect water. I have to drain the water in the crisper every week. I Was wondering where that water came from. My fridge doesnt have any water hook up (for an ice maker or a water dispenser). Now, I got another problem. My freezer builds up ice!!! I am really disappointed that this expensive fridge doesnt work well. Not worth the money that I spent on this bad product!!!

I bought a Samsung fridge, three times I have had Telefix technicians out to look at fridge as it on 3 times it has had water under the crisper. First time the back panel gets changed. Leaks again so 2nd time gets same procedure not to mention puts a slight crack on panel, leaks again. 3rd time technician? Blame the 2nd one for his workmanship. And reckons nothing wrong? Yet water? Told him not happy he puts in a report saying nothing wrong? Goes to apparently case manager Samsung. Telling me they cant do anything, yet I have 10 year concierge warranty and if they get someone else out I have to pay? I don’t think so.And how many times do I have to them out because of their fault in appliance, which was also stated by the technician that the new model fridges has the exact problem as my fridge does... I have 20 year old LG fridge and never had one problem. If I wanted a fridge that leaks water I would buy one. So why are Samsung making fridges with the same problem and selling them? Rectify the problem. And you will have happy customers. Still want to know so what are they going to do about my fridge… Angry customer.

Purchased all new Samsung appliances for our kitchen. The Refrigerator failed within a less than a year. The dishwasher failed within a year and now has failed again. The response and service is very poor - that is saying kindly. I will not purchase another Samsung product ever again in my lifetime and will be telling as many other people to do the same. Canada should not allow any company to sell products to consumers in Canada who are not willing to have an office within Canada to assist those consumers. Shame on Samsung and all who work for this company. Should have bought from Sears, not Future shop. They are just as bad, or worse than Samsung because they are absolutely no help to anyone, unless you purchase insurance through them and then they pass it off on the insurance claims. The government is also not doing a very good job of protecting consumers from this sort of thing. I have read so many other stories from people who are facing the same troubles with Samsung products. Never again.

Had to be replaced after 10 months, compressor went. New fridge therefore had only 2 months left on the warranty, warranty does not start again with new fridge. 2 months after the warranty expired, the ice maker went. Now, a year after that, its buzzing like crazy. Found out that a couple of years ago there was a class action suit against Samsung for ice maker issues.

In 2010 I purchased five Samsung appliances with a five-year extended warranty. Shortly after the first year every one of the appliances had issues. I emailed Samsung and they did not even have the courtesy to reply. The stove had so many replacement parts, it was practically a rebuilt and finally deemed a lemon by Samsung. The dishwasher never cleaned well from the start despite following all the guidelines, had major parts replaced and finally stopped working all together. It was deemed a lemon and replaced. The fridge had water pooling in and under a crisper. That problem was fixed after three service calls and now it is doing the same thing. The washer stopped dispensing hot water and had major parts replaced. The dryer element burned out right after one year and then the door started having trouble staying closed. The dryer was less than three years old and Samsung could not supply a replacement door. The dishwasher was finally replaced with a new one and is nowhere near the quality of the first model. It will be a year old in June and is already having cleaning issues. The stove and dryer were three years old on an extended warranty when Samsung offered a buy out. I assumed that meant they would be paying enough money to replace the appliances. After all, the warranty states they would fix or replace defective appliances. That was not the case. The buyout fell short of actually being able to replace the same items. Dont fall for that song and dance. I thought I was buying a good name and good quality with Samsung. I was not.

I purchased my Samsung refrigerator (Side By Side # RS267TDRS) in July 2012. It has been serviced 7 times since then for the same issue. The refrigerator continues to have ice build up and fails about every 6 to 8 months. I purchased at Sears and got the service contract. What a mistake. Samsung refused to back up anything. I own multiple Samsung appliances ranging from the Refrigerator to TVs to DVRs. They have lost me as a customer. I would never buy another of their products. I have called their Customer Service and get the same lame excuse: You are out of warranty. Well I wouldnt be out of warranty if it hadnt been fixed by Sears under the service contract the first time. I have spent over $700.00 on a $1600.00 refrigerator in the first for years of ownership. What a sad, pathetic company.

Purchased a Samsung Family Hub refrigerator and a Flex Wash washer and dryer 8 months ago. Since then have had the refrigerator ice maker freeze up about every 2 weeks. The fridge has been repaired with ice maker replaced 4 times. Now the washing machine has an error code that Samsung cannot find anyone to fix. Samsung does not offer refunds even though their appliances are junk but does offer replacements. (Oh yay) Samsung guaranteed delivery/replacement in 10 days. This is day 12 with no communication from Samsung. Many hours spent on the phone with Samsung, 4 service trips for the ice maker and now a guaranteed time frame on a replacement that did not happen. Samsung does not care about its customers and sells expensive appliances they do not support. Stay away from these and all Samsung appliances!

Bought unit (Samsung over the range microwave model SMH1622B) in Dec. 2014. Lately when I put something into it, as soon as I close the door, the light inside it comes on and the turntable starts spinning. It does not stop if I press the stop/clear button. The only way to stop it is to open the door. If I press the stop/clear button while the door is open it does nothing, as the unit starts up again as soon as I close the door. The ONLY thing that stops this is if I open the door, press the 1 {1 second} button, close the door, and then press start. The unit then cooks for 1 second, and finally shuts off.

Hopefully the reader of this submission has not yet purchased a Samsung. I sure wish I had done some homework on Samsung before I went shopping. Samsung products low quality. My $500 microwave is broken. It makes a horrific noise when I try to microwave. Its not heating up and is emitting a scary electrical smell. I had an old microwave when I was in college. Paid $20 for it from someones garage sale. It lasted more than 10 years. I did a kitchen remodel and bought this fancy looking Samsung and had it mounted over my stove. Its total junk. How can a $20 microwave last 10 plus years and a $500 microwave make it only 2 years? My advice - NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM SAMSUNG. Period...

Samsung does not want to repair the unit but for ME to return it to the store for a credit or get another machine and take it home and install myself. This I cannot do. After 1 1/2 hrs on the phone, 2 representatives of Samsung hanging up on me, I have gotten one of them to agree to honoring the warranty and repairing my dishwasher. The condition is that I have to photograph my receipt and e-mail it to them. Now I have to figure out how to do that.

I bought Samsung model RF30HBEDBSR 2 years ago. The French door, fridge on top, and freezer double drawer on the bottom with a bonus drawer between that can vary the temp/use. On the one yr anniversary the ice maker made mushy, crushed-only ice. Samsung customer service sent me the door part free and scheduled a repair guy of their choosing. NOOO. Over twice the going rate. I hired someone else. Six months later the ice maker itself (cleverly placed IN THE REFRIGERATOR) froze over. I defrosted it with my blow dryer occasionally for the next 6 months. I tried to hire someone to evaluate/fix it and was told by the first 6 that they either dont fix Samsung fridges or never the ice maker. Huh? Finally someone let me in on a poorly kept secret (except by Samsung who believe they walk on water), their ice makers are overly complicated pieces of junk, frequently unfixable. We replaced the entire ice maker body (part ordered through Sears) and after spending almost 2 hours melting enough ice to be able to remove the original part, put the new one in in 15 minutes. I was told that this is almost always a failure in the computer chip in this part, resulting in water continuing to flow after the tray is full... Ice build-up-hell. Cost me $154 plus the part Id bought and weeks of 7/11 ice. Supposedly these fail between 2 months and 2 years. And all the replacement parts are just the same as the original! Rinse, repeat. OMG! I spent $1,500 at Best Buy plus over $400 in the 1st 2 years already. I have never had to have any prior fridge need repair in 30 years! I replaced them every 10 or so years for newer better models. Until now... I will never ever buy a product from Samsung as long as I live. I even hated the one phone of theirs. I didnt mention the HOURS I spent trying to deal with customer service.

There are a couple main problems with the refrigerator (Samsung Refrigerato
There are a couple main problems with the refrigerator (Samsung Refrigerator Model RF323TEDBSR/AA):1. There is a design flaw in the upper ice dispenser. When you select cubed ice, the dispenser crushes about 1/3 to 1/2 of the ice cubes. The problem lies in the design of the module. The opening to the ice chute is just too small and/or too close to the crusher mechanism which is just above the ice chute. The auger feeds more ice per given amount of time (seconds) than can fall through the hole to the chute before building up a pile at the hole. As this pile of ice builds up, it eventually begins to feed into the crusher mechanism. This results in about one third to one half of the cubes being crushed. Samsung technical support asked us to empty and reset the ice module but it made no difference. Finally my wife called them and had to escalate to the upper tier of support and they sent a second module but we found no difference in performance.2. The second problem is with the overall quality of the refrigerator. The hinge/pins for the drawer lids broke within the first couple months of ownership. These are little plastic pins, which are about 1/2 the diameter of a pencil, that allow the clear plastic lid to swing open upward when you pull the crisper or meat/cheese drawers out. I fixed them by drilling them out and inserting a wooden dowel rod and securing them with some industrial strength glue. Theyve held for almost a year now like that.3. Finally, the silver finish is flaking off the control/menu panel. This is a cosmetic flaw I understand but for a 1 year old product this is absolutely unacceptable. Samsung refused to do anything for us on this and my wife was adamant that there should be some replacement part shipped but they refused.Overall we are finding out that the refrigerator is just poor quality. We purchased the refrigerator because it had all the features we wanted. The second ice maker in the lower freezer drawer was a big reason we bought it. Now we have to open that drawer and dig out the ice cubes for our drinks if we dont want crushed ice which is all we can get from the front dispenser.I also wanted to make a comment about the water filter. The Aqua Fresh filters that are rated to be a match for the Samsung model HAF-CIN are of poor quality. I had a 3-pack of filters and the first filter worked without any issues for many months. Then the indicator light came on telling me it was time to replace the filter. The second and 3 filters from that pack leaked water into the drawer just below the filter. I ultimately had to replace them with the Samsung filter. This is not a Samsung complaint, but rather for information so others know my experience with the off-brand filters.

I bought a Samsung refrigerator in 2010 from Sears. August 2012 the cooling system stopped working. I knew it was a failed compressor. It took ten days to get a service repairman to come out and replace the compressor. He was from A&E Factory Service. He tried to bill me and I showed him my 5-year warranty. It was resolved. Several months later, the cooling system stopped working. I called Samsung. A& E was scheduled to come out in a week. They never showed up. They had given the tag to Tekniton who when I called denied they had the service tag. I spent 4-5 hours making calls, being put on hold, transferred before finally Samsung sent a repairman out that day. What was the problem? A&E failed to weld the tubing shut properly. The coolant leaked out over time. Once again they tried to bill me. Once again I had to go through channels to clear up. Here it is February 14, 2013. Guess what? My refrigerators cooling system has failed again. I contacted Samsung for a repair. They tried to tell me that I was going to be charged. Once again, I had to remind them I have a 5-year warranty. Now when will this service person show up? How many times will my service tag be passed around? Never will I buy any Samsung product again. I have been a consumer of major appliances for 40 years. I will not buy anything labeled Samsung.

I bought my a Samsung RS-261MDWP model # refrigerator about 3 years ago from Best Buy. It has been a nightmare. Within the first 6 months I had 5-7 service calls. Thank God I purchased the extended warranty. The ice maker went out, the display board stopped working, they had to replace the motherboard, and a couple other things. Finally, after about 3 months of nonsense and not getting all the repairs done in a timely fashion, I was so fed up that I just walked in to Best Buy and demanded they give me another refrigerator. Of course I got the story that it has nothing to do with them and I would have to call Samsung or their Geek Squad department at their toll free number. I demanded to speak with the store manager or someone in corporate. I told them I have had several different men in my house for the past 5-6 months because the 3rd party company they are using for repairs doesnt know what they are doing and keep sending different people which all say its something else every time. I finally got a higher up manager that agreed that this was ridiculous and gave me whole new refrigerator. It wasnt even 6 months before we had to have a service call on that one. I have even ignored some of the other problems just because I dont want to have to keep calling them because they put you through so much. Today I had no choice because it has begun to make so much noise, it gets louder than the television. I will never buy a Samsung again. It also has started to freeze up, meaning it locks us out from getting water or ice so we have to unplug it for about 1 min so it will reboot. I say its possessed.

I purchased a Samsung washing machine and dryer and upon receipt of the appliances the washing machine would not power on so I had to have a service tech come out. Mind you this is brand new. Never ever operated so they had to repair the computer on the washing machine. I asked for a refund immediately or an exchange and they would not honor it so I was stuck with the product. Subsequently maybe a month or so later I had to have a repair on the washing machine drum. The plastic trim on the top that holds it in somehow became chewed up and in disrepair. They came out and repair that. Not much longer afterwards I had the same problem. They came out again and repair that. Weve had a little luck for a year or so but now were faced with the same exact problem again and theyre saying that were out of warranty. Mind you, this is the same exact reoccurring problem. Hopefully they will finally stand by their product and either replace it or give us a refund. My fingers are crossed but at this point I definitely dont recommend any Samsung products and Im sure that Ill never purchase any more myself.

Here it is in a nutshell (a rather big nutshell)... I STRONGLY advise again
Here it is in a nutshell (a rather big nutshell)... I STRONGLY advise against purchasing a Samsung range (Samsung MODEL NE59J7630SW) for the following reasons... Purchased 01/15/2017, delivered 02/07/2017. We have been contacting Samsung for service since October with no success. We have now been WITHOUT A WORKING RANGE FOR OVER A MONTH. The so-called SERVICE and WARRANTY for this appliance is a joke (See below). We have not used the stove as Samsung instructed for over a month.Weve spent $100s of dollars eating out and can only can eat cold sandwiches at home. We also had to cancel our Christmas gathering that weve had for 15 years due to this on-going problem. Samsung now says they dont have ANYONE to service our area and were promised a full REFUND (still waiting for it). We bought it at HOME DEPOT. So that you can fully understand our frustration, heres a log of how weve tried to resolve this...10/16 - Called for service - Hot element light stays on continuously (NO CALLBACK OR RESPONSE). 11/06 - I burned my hand because I didnt know the element was actually HOT! 12/01 - Called again (ticket **) Stove-top cracked (Tech to call with service date, NO CALL RECEIVED). 12/07 - Received email from Samsung - CANCELLED TICKET/SERVICE CALL??? 12/07 - Called Home Depot appliance manager (said to try again, let him know if not resolved).12/14 - EMAIL from Samsung (new ticket **) - Appointment made for 12/18 (NEVER SHOWED). 12/18 - No one showed up. Called Samsung, service center said date was 12/21 9am-1pm (said Samsung messed update). 12/21 - Tech called 11:30 am running late, changed to 3:30 pm. Tech called 4:30 stuck in traffic, will be here late (NEVER CALLED BACK OR SHOWED UP). We texted technician at 4:45 asked him to please come next day so we would have our stove by Xmas (NEVER REPLIED).12/22 - Called Service Center, They said we were TOO FAR AWAY and they needed to service locals first. 12/22 - Called Samsung, They said they would find another service center to fix it by 12/27 or ISSUE US A REFUND. 12/22 - Called Home Depot - Rich called Samsung/called us back/said Samsung would repair it by 12/27. 12/23 - EMAIL from Samsung (new ticket **), said service center would call to set date (NO CALL RECEIVED). 12/26 - Called Home Depot (Rich) - got nowhere.12/27 - Day came and went without any call from Samsung or service center. 12/28 - 4:55 pm - Call from Service Center to make appointment for 01/03/18 1 pm-3 pm. 12/28 - 4:56 pm - EMAIL from Samsung CANCELLED. 01/03/18 appointment just made a minute earlier!!! 12/29 - I CALLED SAMSUNG and spoke to 3 different people/supervisors and demanded REFUND as promised (GOT NOWHERE). 01/03 - Samsung called, they CANT FIND SERVICE CENTER, requested Receipt (we emailed it to EFAX@SEA.SAMSUNG.COM ref# **).01/04 - Samsung called - they requested Bill of Sale (we emailed it to EFAX@SEA.SAMSUNG.COM ref# **). 01/05 - (5:31pm) Samsung called - requested SPECIAL Bill of Sale (was sent on 4th but we sent AGAIN to EFAX@SEA.SAMSUNG.COM). 01/05 - (7:52pm) Samsung called - said received all of the information except... This resulted in our hardwood floors buckling and our master bedroom carpet needing to be removed and our entire house needing to be dried out. Samsung customer service took no responsibility for any of this ---- all they would tell us is the dishwasher was out of warranty.
