We bought the dishwasher, ice box and gas stove from Best Buy, they stopped working on the 2nd day that they was delivered on 3/2014. We contacted Best Buy about the problems and they said that we had to contact Samsung customer service. We did and they said that the applicant was out of warranty. How can this be. We just bought it brand new, they said that they were 4 yrs old and out of warranty. The dishwasher was the first to go out, then the freezer on the icebox and now the stove oven doesnt work. I will never buy a Samsung of any kind and wont buy from Best Buy either. All of their products are out of warranty and they told me, Thats why you should buy a extended warranty. Then why do they advertise that they have a warranty for Samsung for 1 yr, 2 yrs etc. And no one will work on them either. Be smart and dont buy Samsung. I wont ever again.

I bought a Samsung French Door Refrigerator in May of 2020 from Home Depot.
I bought a Samsung French Door Refrigerator in May of 2020 from Home Depot. It was delivered in June of 2020. Just over a year old and its unusable. Temp readings shown on refrigerator are not the actual inside temps. Temps read normal but actual temp inside is 48+ in fridge section and 20+F in freezer. I had to throw out all of my food. Samsung has no tech in my area to look at it. Because of this they refuse to do anything about it. This is a known defect with Samsung refrigerators. They are not honoring the implied warranty. Parts are still under warranty. So without looking at it they are just saying its out of warranty. How do they know what part is causing the issue? It cant be out of warranty if you dont even know the cause. The ice maker seems to be the biggest issue. So now I sit here 2 weeks later with no refrigerator and no option of getting one anytime soon.Prices have almost doubled since I purchased this appliance. Not sure how hard it would even be to even get one with the shortage thats going on. Samsung has done nothing but play games over the last 2 weeks. I was offered nothing. No tech, no refund, and was told to find someone myself to look at it. Yet, if its not a certified Samsung tech I void the parts of the warranty that are left. If they cant find one in my area, how can I?A voicemail left yesterday says theyre trying to get a hold of me to get someone here and today I have a text from the same guy saying theres nothing they can do. So I wonder if it had been within the first year and it malfunctioned, how would a tech have magically appeared? If there isnt one now there couldnt have been 4 months ago either. Theres a class action lawsuit against them at this time. A FB group of 84,000 people complaining. It has made the news in several states. I would say they have a serious problem and theyre in no hurry to do right by their customers.

We have had the Samsung DW80F600 for 2 years and it is not working. Called customer service and ended up in some foreign country with staff who had no idea what to do. The only solution was to call a technician which I did and awaiting for him to show up. I suspect that as with most posts here, the technician will tell us that the repair will cost a few hundred dollars in which case it will be cheaper to buy a new one. WE had a GE dishwasher for 20 years and never had a problem with it. Like their Samsung phones, I suspect they cannot produce good products. Many other good brands to choose from.Updated 9/21/2016 - Samsung has a con system going on. THEY KNOW THERE IS A QUALITY PROBLEM WITH THEIR DISHWASHERS AND THEY CHOOSE TO DO NOTHING TO FIX THE PROBLEM. Please read the rest of the post. I promised to let you know what happened with the fix of my dysfunctional Samsung DW80F600, 2 year-old dishwasher.I called the appliance repair company Totem Appliance that was recommended by Samsung and set up an appointment for September 21, 2016. I was told that they cannot tell me over the phone what the problem was until the technician had a chance to diagnose the problem. The fee for this diagnosis I was told is $115. The technician showed up and lo and behold was carrying a replacement part. I asked him what that part was and he told me that this is the part that needs to be replaced. The exact part is the Brake Case Assembly - I believe part # DD82-01111A (as shown on the package). I asked him how he knew what the problem was and his response was that Samsung fielded many such complaints and by now they know what the problem is. Reluctantly I told him to go ahead and fix the problem. The cost for this part is $400 (a new dishwasher costs $600). He pulled the dishwasher out and replaced the bracket case assembly. He turned the dishwasher on to test it and amazingly it did not work. The Smart Auto error was blinking. He said that the dishwasher senses water and we need to leave the dishwasher door open for 24 hours for the water inside to dry or alternatively, he can dry the water himself. I said he should dry the water rather than us wait for 24 hours (not knowing whether we are going to see this company again). He pulled out the dishwasher (again), flipped it over, and unscrewed the bottom panel. Lo and behold, no water to be found, meaning there was no water as he claimed. He then said he needs to look at the ecs sensor. He took it apart, cleaned it and screwed back the bottom panel. He turned the dishwasher on and my goodness, it did not work again. The Smart Auto light was blinking again. He then said he has to call head office. He did call head office and they told him he needs to replace the pcb which is the main control board. He told me that this part is warranted for 5 years. I wanted to know why did he not replace the pcb in the first place and he said that Samsung told them to replace all three parts, regardless of the problem and then charge for the ecs and bracket case assembly only. In other words, since the pcb is under warranty they want to give you the impression that you are getting a so called deal.Since he did not have the pcb on him, nor did he have a replacement ecs sensor, he said that he will return the next day (Thursday, September 22) with the parts and replace them. So what does this all mean - 1. This is one big CON; 2. Rather than first replace the warranty part, namely the pcb, they sell you the most expensive parts first and if the fix does not work, only then they offer a replacement pcb. This to me is cause for a class action lawsuit and perhaps inform the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) to trigger a recall. If you all agree with me then lets go for it. We all know by now the problems that Samsung is having with the Galaxy phone suggesting that quality is not part of the Samsung culture and secondly, they think their customers are stupid.

We were told that we could only have one ticket open at a time. We were more concerned about our freezer that went out. Once that was completed we were guaranteed to have our ice maker fixed due to issues that had with the brand we had. Once we try to put in a ticket it kept getting canceled stating we were out of warranty. Rep looked up our serial and model # before he did anything. Now we get all these cancellations each time I call for a supervisor because Samsung couldn’t hold to their promise. I don’t care if our of warranty or not! This should have been promoted when the rep looked up the information. Poor at holding their promise when I’m in fact they know they had issues with this model.

I bought this stainless steel refrigerator from Lowes and spent $3,000 only to have the ice maker jam, leak and not produce ice. After dozens of calls and several tech visits Samsung told me that even though they replaced the same parts 3 times that they would not replace the unit or credit me in any way! RUN FROM THIS COMPANY!!! They dont care that they produce a piece of junk and they have horrible customer service. I now see that I am not alone in this problem. I personally know 3 other people that have had the exact same experience as me. I will never buy anything with the Samsung label ever again.

I do not have to rinse the dishes. Delay start, short cycle. The inside bottom rack has many ways to place the dishes in. The utensil rack is the whole length of the inside of the dishwasher. The top rack has where you can put in wine glasses where they are held in place with individual holders. It is black with stainless steel inside. I love how clean the dishes come out. Also no water spots. It is so quiet that you dont even know it is on.

I purchased a Samsung refrigerator from Croma, Bangalore on 17/10/2014. Model number FF253LRT27HAJMASE. In June I noticed that some food particles in the plastic grid in freezer. My shock I found that the plastic grid is lined with Thermocol, obviously it cannot be cleaned properly because Thermocol is a porous material and particles got embedded in the same. My grievance is - why make a grid in the base of freezer compartment which cannot be cleaned by the user? Secondly, why use Thermocol embedded in the grid so it impossible to clean and subsequently it will develop fungus. The design is absolutely defective. In the door of the fridge, there are only two and a quarter racks, why like normal fridges 3 or 4 racks have not been provided?

We purchased our Samsung Induction Range Model NE599N in August 2013. Two days ago we were sitting at the kitchen table when we heard a loud sap from the direction of the range. Later that evening while cleaning the range we discovered the glass top had cracked from the back left corner all the way to the middle of the front edge. I found Samsungs service number and spoke with a service guy who had me e-mail pictures of the crack. A day and a half later we received a call from Samsung that there was no warranty on our cooktop due to improper usage. I have ordered a replacement top which I will replace myself, but I will not buy another Samsung product.

Model #: RF261BEAEBC/AA (French Door, Freezer on Bottom, NO ice or water dispensers in the door). I have had to call Samsung services and repair four (4) times for my Samsung Refrigerator in the first thirteen (13) months of operation. Every call has been about the ice maker. I escalated this recurring issue to the executive review board (or whatever they call it) stating that I must have a defective refrigerator (or least a defective ice maker). I said they need to address this issue by replacing the whole refrigerator or issue a recall of some parts or something because this is just not acceptable. The response I got back from Samsung is that this is not cause for any special consideration and that normal repair and service should continue. Their response is what really bothers me. I mean I fully understand that if you make thousands of appliances (or cars or whatever), there will be a couple that will be defective. I have no problem with that - just own up to it and resolve the issue for good. I also understand that no matter how much you test sometimes things can be missed. I have had cars recalled for certain issues, you take your car to the dealer, they resolve the issue (no cost to you) and all is good. I mean it is very weird for them to think that four (4) service requests in first thirteen (13) months of operation is not cause for alarm or at least a closer inspection.I actually talked to the last repairman that came out to fix the problem. He said that he sees a lot of repairs on certain models of Samsung Refrigerators that was/is related to frozen water line for the ice makers. So much so that Samsung did a recall and replaced the heating element (or whatever) to keep ice from forming in water line to the ice maker. He said it was a different model than mine and hence no recall for my specific model number.I suspect that this is the issue for me as well, as water is not making it to the ice tray. I could be wrong though and freely admit something else could be the issue. With this type of customer service, it will make me seriously consider any Samsung products in the future. I am not upset so much with an appliance that has issues. Hey, I dont like it and wish otherwise, but the stick-my-head-in-the-sand-and-hope-this-goes-away attitude from Samsung is really bothersome.

I purchased a Samsung rf267aers refrigerator 12/01/09. The issue with this unit is the following. We the owners of this unit all (have) the same problem. Lousy design of defrost system allows the defrosted water to freeze in the discharge tube so it overflows into the lower platform under the pull out shelf. When it freezes, it freezes the roller wheel on the bottom of the shelf in the layer of ice and it wont move until you defrost the fridge to the point it releases. There are YouTube videos of how to defrost the coils but Samsung has known about this forever and wont fix it.So every month I remove the bottom tray and remove the built up ice slab. Now I have called samsung several times. Samsungs directions defrost the refrigerator. But even that process DO NOT solve the problem. ONCE unit was turned on again the SAME problem returned. I once inquired to samsung tech people how much it would cost me to fix the problem $700-$800 with NO GUARANTEE. BUT THEY WOULD put the old parts back. Of course I would have to pay for the labor for the install and removal that was about $165-320. Samsung bad NEWS.

During the 5 years of the warranty I had to have it repaired 6 times for the same problem which is the back keeps freezing up and will not defrost. For the last 2 years I bought another warranty from Sears. They came out every 4 months to defrost and replace the fan and the defrost sensor. I called Samsung and they refuse to give me my money back for the unit. The customer service is horrible. So if you have any sense DONT BUY. I paid $1,995 for this model. Refrigerator is three year old and cost about $2000. Last week the evaporator fan (inside of the refrigerator) started getting noisy. After looking online and discovering that this is a common issue I contacted the support people at Samsung. I received a canned response that said it could be caused by lots of things. They recommended that I unplug the refrigerator for 24 hours to let the evaporator thaw and for the ice to melt. If it happens again Im supposed to call for a repair appointment. We had to move all of our contents out of the refrigerator to let the evaporator thaw before we could get the cover off to clean out the drain. This is a really poor product backed up by offshore support auto responders. For your next refrigerator purchase choose any product other than Samsung.

Mother boards failed in 2 year old unit. There was no one to service the unit even though I had the extended warranty. Samsung was unwilling to help and tried to get out of it. The company pushes the extended warranty but then wont honor the warranty. When you call the customer service number you get people who can barely speak English and those that can speak English are so hard to understand. They make you feel like you are clueless as to how a unit should work and make you feel like you did something to cause the failure. Having to throw out food because of non-functioning refrigerator is not a good thing. Totally useless piece of electrical garbage. I finally gave up and bought a Whirlpool unit. Called Samsung customer service to schedule repair of our French door refrigerator with dual ice maker. Rust has developed around the water/ice dispenser. It was purchased in 2012 and warranty ended one year later. I found many reports of this same issue online by other customers. They said they would not send anyone to repair it as it is considered cosmetic. I offered to pay for corrections although from all reports there is a design flaw causing water to leak around the dispenser box. They still refused to schedule a service. Ive escalated request to executive customer relations. Also, reporting to the Better Business Bureau. Question if there any existing Samsung refrigerator class action lawsuits.

Bought Samsung side by side refrigerator, dishwasher, and range. Ice maker overfills and drops the cubes frozen into one slab. Causes sugar to jam and busts ice bin. Replaced 3 times while still under warranty. Requested Samsung send a tech to fix problem but was told they could not do that, best they could do was mail an ice bin. Fan started making noise that got louder & louder. Eventually realized ice was building up behind the wall. I was still denied service. Have to manually defrost every few months! Now out of warranty and bin busted again. Not paying $160 for a bin that will just bust. Have a plastic box to catch the ice and dont use the dispenser. Dishwasher is also a piece of junk! Doesnt drain properly and smells awful! Stove is the only thing that hasnt given problems yet!

We purchased a Model DW80J3020US Dishwasher from Lowes December 30, 2015. This dishwasher did not clean the dishes as well as our old Kenmore which was 11 years old. On May 8, 2016 the dishwasher quit working completely (no power on light). I telephoned Samsung support and was advised that a local repair shop would contact us within 24 - 48 hrs. We did not receive any contact and when I called Samsung back on May 11, 2016 they informed me that a company known as Precision Television at 800 603-2433 would set an appointment for repair. I phoned Precision Television and they informed me that they DID NOT SERVICE SAMSUNG DISHWASHERS. I telephoned Samsung again and was told that Precision Television (aka Precision Services) was the company that was going to service our dishwasher. Another contact to Precision Television proved useless and they again informed me that they had no technician for service calls and did not service Samsung dishwashers! Two more calls to Samsung (the last call was May 13, 2016) resulted in the representative telling me that another repair service, Lehmans Appliance would take care of the service. It has been 5 days since the service order was referred to Lehmans Appliance and they have not called me and have not answered 6 messages that I left. I have to assume that Samsung does not honor their warranty.

Bought a side by side refrigerator RS25J500DSR 17 days ago. After waiting the 24 hours for the ice to make, it was evident that there was a problem. The refrigerator only serves two people and one of them is gone most of the day. Its bin has only gotten filled more than a quarter of the way one time when we were out of town for 4 days. We only fill our glasses 1/4 way with ice in an effort not to be without ice entirely. Reported problem to Samsung and a tech called back. Had me to do the tests described in the video then he told me the ice maker was working fine and he was closing my file but would call me the next day to see if resetting it had helped. The next day, no call. Refrigerator was not bothered for 4 hrs. and the bin had approximately 30 pieces of ice. So the next day called Samsung again. Was again told they would send out a repairman. Today, was called by Tech. He stated that he was trained by the engineer and the ice maker in this refrigerator only makes 6 pieces of ice every 90 minutes - 2 hours. A total of 70 pieces of ice in a 24 hr. period. It is not designed to provide very much ice. I cant imagine that anyone would buy a refrigerator and not rely on it for daily ice. He also stated that the bin is not suppose to fill up more than 1/4 way full. Again they have refused to send anyone out because they know their ice maker is practically worthless. I wish I had seen these complaints before I bought it. I did look at the rating for this product and since it had a high rating I thought I would be pleased. However, this is the worst purchase I have made in 60 years. I dont ever plan to buy anything that is Samsung again.

When I called Samsung support they said its a cosmetic issue and not covered under the warranty. They said it could be caused by prolonged exposure to moisture (Ive had it for a month) or an abrasive cleaner was possibly used. The only cleaner that has been used was warm water and dish soap one time and a mixture of vinegar and water one time. I purchased two Samsung ranges in 2012 for my small cafe. I just wanted them for baking. I know any commercial use would void the warranty, but I believed I would get several good years out of the ovens for a 1200 dollar range. One night that winter 2012/2013 I was sitting at the counter late at night doing bookkeeping. I was baking at about 400-425 degrees, when I heard a loud pop and saw one of the ranges on fire in the rear. I grabbed the fire extinguisher and started putting out the flames when I realized these being electric just pulling the plug would probably solve the problem… I did, and the fire went out (I did have an awful mess of chemicals to clean up). I researched the problem on the internet and found this to be a common problem with Samsung ranges. I was and still am mad. For a large corporation to put such junk for sale, I am incredulous. Ive let the thing sit for almost a year, and am going to finally call someone to give me an estimate to fix, so I can fix or junk. I tell everyone I come in contact with not to buy Samsung anything. The other range is still used never over 350 degrees.

Bought a Samsung dual electric range and French door freezer on the bottom
Bought a Samsung dual electric range and French door freezer on the bottom fridge as well as extended warranty! Multiple breakdowns of fridge with over 4 call outs! Stove smells of electrical burn when using the oven. The stove top receptive plug has had a short since day one. They claim they have a no lemon clause, but these were both lemons. Didnt last 5 years! Will never buy Samsung again and am now wondering about their phones etc. Loyalty begins with quality products and service. Samsung appliances and service are sorely lacking. Dont waste your money or your time and dont trust the companies that sell their products under the assurance that they are a quality product... anyone who sells junk is not to be trusted!

Updated on 7/5/2021: I posted a review of the dishwasher last year. In the meantime our builder replaced the one that did not clean and the door broke off. So a year ago it was replace by the same model.... exactly one year later.... we are having to replace it. Run away!!!! Run Away NOW from this Samsung Dishwasher. I have had two of the same model and it is TRASH! NEVER NEVER NEVER BUY THIS!!!! Is there anything else I can say?Original review: Brand new home... brand new appliance... Samsung everything. All the other appliances I love EXCEPT the dishwasher.... it is awful. It does not get the dishes clean. I cannot fit my 11-inch plates in it... the bowls, forget about it. The top rack, please do not get me started. It uses all the Jet Dry in one wash. I cant get the racks to adjust... which they are supposed to do. I hate doing dishes but after 45 years I would rather have clean dishes then this piece of... run away from this dishwasher.

Paid over $5K for the Samsung RF34H9960S4/AA refrigerator, which is supposed to have come with Samsung Elite Service where a technician comes to your house and explains all the features in person and make sure everything was installed and working correctly. After two months of trying to get in touch with someone at Samsung who could set this up for me, I was told that the service is not offered in my area, based on my zip code. I asked if it was available in the zip code where I purchased the product and was again told it is not. I asked if it was available anywhere in the U.S. and was told that the only technician they had listed was in California. I accused them of selling a product and advertising a service that customers like me have paid top dollar for, knowing that it is not offered in most areas of the U.S. They did not offer me any resolution.

Samsung counter refrigerator rf197acrs - After one year, our great looking Samsung refrigerator started to accumulate water and ice under crispers. We defrosted the refrigerator. It stopped for a while but ice started to accumulate at the back of refrigerator behind wall (you could see buildup through air pockets). In addition, the fan started to make noise and eventually the refrigerator shut down all together. As we were waiting for someone to help us, we called Samsung with little help as we did not purchase additional warranty. We called Lowes with little help; however they were sympathetic to our predicament. We finally had repairman out and he exchanged part at back of refrigerator wall but that also failed. He came out again and replaced the same part with a new one and here I am waiting for this one to break! This situation leaves one with a feeling of hopelessness!

I purchased a Samsung Conventional Oven from Best Buy in August 2011. The stove worked great until now. I was preheating the oven to bake lasagna and could smell burning plastic. I looked in the oven to make sure there was nothing burning inside and there was nothing. As I closed the door and stepped back, sparks started shooting out of the stove top and smoke was everywhere. I had my two month old son and my three dogs with me in the kitchen. Luckily none of them were injured. The ash from the blowout was all over my kitchen. The breaker blew (thank god) and I immediately unplugged the stove. I could not see an obvious signs of a problem until I really looked at the back of the stove. Where the plug is connected was covered in black ash. I removed the panel to find that the area where the plug connects was completely melted.I have had this stove for almost four years now. THIS SHOULD NOT HAVE HAPPENED!! Im still scared to death that this could have caused a house fire or an injury to my son, myself or my dogs. I will be contacting Samsung to see what can be done. I have read horror stories about their customer support but I have my receipt and pictures to back me. This is UNACCEPTABLE!

4 1/2 weeks ago I called Samsung customer service because my refrigerator had stopped working. It leaked water all over my floors. In the morning when we noticed my new kitchen cabinets had been damaged from the water. However, I did not even bring that issue up. All I wanted was my 3 year old appliance fixed since it was still under warranty. I was promised $100.00 to cover the cost of lost food items, still has yet to arrive. After two weeks I asked to speak to a supervisor and he offered $150 for a mini fridge that will fit cold cut meats, cheese, drinks/water and a gallon of milk. They have told me that the part has been ordered but that is all I really get. NO ONE has fixed the real issue!!! We were eating out 3 times a day because I could not hold any food. We are a family of 6 (4 children under 7 years of age) and my husband has kidney disease, so he is not suppose to eat junk!!! DO NOT BUY SAMSUNG!!! THEY DO NOT TAKE CARE OF THEIR CUSTOMERS. I recommend Whirlpool. They helped me out with so much with my previous appliances.

I bought this refrigerator at Best Buy. It was a return/open box, so I was a little concerned going in, but I had no idea what I was in for. For the first 3 weeks, it was great. I loved it. It looks GREAT, especially on the inside with the LED lighting, and the icemaker worked well. Noisy, but they all are. After 3 weeks I noticed water would spurt out the back of the dispenser when I got ice or water, then the next day I noticed my ice cream was soft. The temperature controls still said it was -2, but it obviously wasnt. The next day all the ice was melted. After a runaround at Best Buy, I called Samsung. After a hassle there proving Id just bought the thing, they finally sent someone out to look at it from a local repair shop. The repairman groaned when he saw it and said that most of his calls are for Samsung refrigerators, they break down all the time. He ordered said there was a leak in the coolant line and ordered a dye pack, then came back a couple weeks later to install it, then came back a couple weeks later and looked it over again, ordered another part, then came back and said it was fixed. All was good for 2 weeks, then the freezer went out again. Exact same as it had before. He came back out and said he had to order a couple sensors and a new control board for it. Every visit he made it clear that if we were to just return it and get a different fridge. He wouldnt mind at all that hed ordered the parts for nothing. Hint after hint finally sunk in, and we swapped it out for an LG. When the guys delivered the LG and picked up the Samsung, they laughed at the Samsung and said, Yeah, they have a lot of problems. Especially THAT model. You did right getting the LG. Ive since learned this model has been discontinued, no doubt because of its horrific service record.

We purchased Stainless steel kitchen appliances in 2016 and have nothing but issues. Bought an extended warranty and even they refuse to repair anymore. Refrigerator - stop making ice, didnt cool properly, buildup of ice under deli tray, door handle came off of freezer drawer. Microwave - not warm properly, some of features not working. Dishwasher - will not drain water proper or wash dishes efficiently (dirty after an entire cycle, motor keeps running). I have contacted them. They only guarantee a year like most. Thats why we got the extended warranty. Never experience such repairs. Its only been 3 yrs. Something is wrong with this picture. I have spoken to them and they have washed their hands. Even the warranty service man told me that they were bad manufacturers and that they get calls all the time back to back for same issues. Please YouTube the models before purchasing. We are out of $4000 basically. I filed a complaint with BBB. They need to stick with cellphones.

After reading Consumers Report Magazine and choosing the top rated products, we went to Best Buy and purchased all three appliances at once. The Oven started smoking (first time used), filled the house with toxic smoke, burnt my ladys face. The microwave exhaust fan never turned on. All this happened within the first time we used the oven. The side by side refrigerator started leaking water and wont stop leaking (water dispenser). Samsung sent out repairman for the range-oven, ordered parts then came back out to finish repairs, tried to use oven again, oven went up in smoke again. SoCalGas Co. came out and RED-tagged the Range-Oven. So far Samsung has blamed us for all the problems. We had to hire an attorney to handle this mess. Samsung has problems with their phones, washing machines, ranges, microwaves, and refrigerators. I wonder whats next?

We bought a Samsung RF26J7500SR 3 door refrig eleven months ago. WHAT A POS. The refrig compartment fan system keeps freezing up (repairman said its an inherent design error! ), preventing it from staying cold. We threw out everything inside on Labor day as all the food spoiled waiting the 12 days for the repairman. Then I was told we had to reschedule since the refrig needed to be unplugged for 48 hours for all the internal ice covering the fan blades to melt. On the return visit days later parts were replaced and a factory anti-freezing kit installed. Now, two months later, the fridge is full of Thanksgiving leftovers and its warm inside again, seems like the same problem. Samsung customer service can only confirm its broken, gave me the number of a local repair guy that will fix it under warranty. I assume the repairman will give me an appointment 12 days from when they call me back, which was how long it took for them to come to the house for the first repair!!! Looks like we will throw out everything again. What a joke. I will have to take another vacation day to wait for the repairman. Anyone who buys a Samsung refrigerator needs their head examined!!! I will never ever buy another Samsung appliance of any kind.

The ice maker started jamming right away. When we called they gave us instructions on how to clear the jam ourself. I have never had a company tell me to fix anything myself. What they told me to do did not fix it. So we called and finally got them to send a service person out. He did not put a new ice maker. He just caulked around the ice bin. Within a day it was jamming again. We called to have a service person come back and fix it. When he came he put a whole new ice maker in. No help! It is still jamming and now it is gathering ice in the chute inside the door and then when the door opens ice flies everywhere.Putting in another ice maker is not going to solve the problems we are having because the blades have too much slack in them and they go behind another blade and they hang up. We called and told them we wanted them to come and get the refrigerator and of course they refused to. The company should not be allowed to sell this kind of junk and then make people keep it. I wish we had known how bad the product was and hope everyone will beware of buying anything Samsung!

I will NEVER buy another Samsung product ever again. BUYER BEWARE. To say I am frustrated and disappointed would be a gross understatement!!! We purchased our Samsung French Door fridge RF31FMEDBSR 3 yrs and 4 months ago. We spent $2200 on it thinking we were buying quality. Boy were we wrong!!! The seal has disintegrated twice, the ice maker works on and off and the shelf on the door came crashing down one morning on my sons foot sending glass jars crashing all over the floor and bruising his foot. I can no longer affix the shelf as the door is torn down to the insulation.I have attempted to get straight answers on this since Dec 21, 2016. I have noted names and dates of people I have spoken to each time. Like many others I was told to contact EEFIX a local authorized repair company to come out and diagnose the problem to the tune of $80. I was also told that I would be reimbursed for that cost once EEFIX uploaded the info on their end. Let the merry-go-round begin.I did everything I was told to do, and all I got was a lot of empty promises and now what seems to be untruths. Fast forward to today, Mr. Derek in Greenville proceeded to tell me that Samsung would do nothing because EEFIX did not leave any documentation. Of course, I called myself, to hear that they couldnt diagnose that the door was defective but broken. HECK!!! I knew that! What did I pay $80 for? Where is my refund? Oh I know Samsung isnt in the business to service just take money for cheap products that they are well aware are having issues. This is my 1st stop, next will be BBB and then small claims court. I will become their worst social media nightmare. All I want is my refund and door fixed.

I purchased a Samsung Microwave Model SMH8187STG from Costco on 19 MAR, 201
I purchased a Samsung Microwave Model SMH8187STG from Costco on 19 MAR, 2011. The other day, I went to close the door, heard a snap and it wouldnt close. The plastic latch was loose. I called Samsung (even though warranty was over) to inquire about what to do, and was passed on to their Canadian parts department, where I ordered a new plastic latch piece for $2.99, assuming thats what the problem was. It would be sent to the dealer nearest to our town where I could pick it up at that price, or mailed to me for $12.99 (I chose the pick up). The parts person also helped by directing me to a website as to how to take the door apart to get at the broken latch. I discovered many other sites where people had had problems with Samsung door latches failing, SE problems, etc.Anyway, when I took the door apart and got the latch out, there were a couple of other broken plastic pieces also. I picked up the new piece yesterday, brought it home, and discovered from looking at some other websites that some people had to glue broken plastic bits back on the door in order to get everything to work (they apparently hadnt ordered a new part). My new part didnt include the other plastic pieces, as they had been part of the inside of the door! They were very small, and very thin, and were part of the guides for the latch, and one of them appeared to be the piece that would anchor the spring that would attach to the latch. Crazy glue or epoxy wasnt going to fix that piece well enough to allow a spring to re-anchor for the stress on the latch. My wife and I do not slam the microwave door, and at our age (mid-60s), we realize were now living in a throw-away society, but this is ridiculous! It looks like well need a new door, as the whole internal part of the current door contains these tiny plastic anchors. Samsung knew or ought to have known that these pieces would not stand up to repeated use over more than a few years before the stress on them would cause them to fail. Why would they not have used reasonably strong metal anchors? While Im not a lawyer, one would think that those of us that have had this problem would have a decent case in small claims court or in a class action suit, even though the warranty is over. Does anyone agree? Anyway, after reading the other horror stories and our experience, its the first/last Samsung for us! P.S. So far, we havent had the SE problem, but from the looks of it, we probably will. However, we bought ours at Costco, as mentioned, and they are very good at taking things back from dissatisfied customers.

We purchased the Samsung stainless steel bottom freeze refrigerator (Model RF4287HARS) from Lowes last November. The water from the dispenser is fine but the ice has a musty/plastic taste when it melts and is unusable. I contacted Lowes service and they scheduled a repairman to come out and check the refrigerator. The service guy ordered parts and in a few days, replaced the filter housing and hoses. The ice still tasted bad. I called back to Lowes service and they schedule the service guy to come back. He replaced the ice maker this time but that still did not correct the taste issue. I called service back and they suggested scheduling the service guy for a 3rd visit even though all the parts had been replaced. This was suppose to trigger an automatic Cannot be Repaired process and Lowes would request a Return Authorization from Samsung. First, Samsung refused to revisit the taste issue and also refused to issue a Return Authorization number. More or less, Samsung is saying were stuck with a refrigerator we cant use the ice from. Lowes Customer Support called and said they had done all they could do and that we could contact Samsung ourselves. We talked to a person in Executive Support thats suppose to be trying to get this resolved but, for now, were stuck with this refrigerator. We will never buy another Samsung product of any kind!!! Samsung has created a line of refrigerators that are defective and wont create a permanent fix for them. When I called to speak with a service tech they sub out to technicians local to consumers who dont work for Samsung but contract with them to repair their defective appliances. So, they couldnt offer me any guidance or reassurance the problem would be fixed. They told me not to go anywhere for two days because they would put in my service request. Apparently, their service company dropped the ball, never called so when I called on the second day, they said they had called me? They said to come out was 90.00, the repair was 100.00 and the parts were separate but they couldnt tell me what that would cost. I asked if this patch (repair) would permanently fix the problem, and they said they put a 90-day warranty on it and that is the best they can offer and they wouldnt allow me to speak to a service technician to have my questions answered.

Samsung refrigerator rf217 - Purchased it from Sears along with service contract. Within weeks the veg containers filled with water- have had the repair service here at least 9 times for same issue. Its now near the limit of coverage and the water is still coming into the veg area and icing up. The repair service admits that the Samsung ref is trouble. I will also add that there is a crack in the plastic in the area where the two top doors meet. Can find no cause for this other than poor quality. The issues were the vent blocked so cant breathe. This happened till the entire inside back panel was replaced- build up of frost in freezer told door didnt close properly the- that the ref wasnt balanced enough somewhere. There is a list of excuses. Bottom line Samsung knew of the issue. Just read the booklet that comes with the product and the number of times they mention water build up. Its cheaper for them to rewrite the book than correct the problem.UPDATE ON 05/28/2018: Its near the end of the 5 year service contract - the same problems have never been removed - tipping back replacing fan - wires - back panel etc. The service was here twice this month. Called today. Went through all the repairs for same issue. Sabrina said she would put me on hold then came back. Said she couldnt hear me and hung up -- I called back. Went over everything again with a man this time. He informed me that the tech had to come to repair and if the tech felt it couldnt be fixed then they would replace. Was told I could file a replacement for lost food. I have had it with stalling the ice and water in the veg containers has gone on from the time I bought the thing to present and its still not fixed. Still filling with water ice and rotting the food and now I am told that the tech must attempt to fix the problem before they will replace it. Am fed up with Sears Samsung and the quality of home appliances - doesnt even rate one star. Would rate it a minus if I could so its one star and thats even too much.

Called customer service and reported what I felt would be a manufacturing defect. When I went to steam clean the oven this week I noticed on the floor, of the oven, fan-like cracks in the enamel. The enamel was cracked and the metal below was showing in 3 areas. I asked if anyone else had reported this. After the CS rep investigated she returned and said no other complaints and it would not be anything they would address as the stove was 2 yrs old. That was all. I really feel it is a manufacture defect and should be replaced. Hopefully not a ongoing problem. I did see this issue on another review so why was the answer no, it has never happened before.

Samsung RS261 - We are on our 5th repair for the Samsung side-by-side with water and ice cube dispenser. The machine has flooded our house 2 times and has had water problems since 4 months into owning it. We have an extended warranty and this is getting old. The fan makes an awful noise, food goes bad. The fans in the back freeze, the water system breaks. We call service, they come order parts, and 3 or 4 days later come back and repair it. Rinse and repeat. There is a class action lawsuit against Samsung for these POS refrigerators. By the way, how do you rate 0 stars? Im sick and tired of this refrigerator breaking.

Samsung. We have a ton of Samsung products throughout our home, and our children use a lot of the same. We bought a Samsung refrigerator four years ago and in our opinion its a piece of crap!!! Weve had to have it serviced a few times in the last three months, with them charging $90 to show up, $75 an hour and parts. Our ice maker quit and are French door freezer started to quit. The tech came and changed the sensor and it cost over $170.They freeze our words, the ice maker to this day has never work again, and guess what, now the stinking freezer is broken again!!! Trying to get service to respond is horrible, It took us five calls over a 10 hour period to finally get someone to respond the next day. We were told the motherboard needs to be replaced and then the tech said the signal seemed to be OK to the sensor so he really didnt need to be replaced. The sensor controls the freezer. So we decided to toss out about these hours or more of frozen food. Now we have to go out and buy another refrigerator after four years!!! Wow!!! I want to go to Home Depot to check out refrigerators have asked want to good refrigerator was in one of two that was recommended was a Samsung!!! Are you combative were going to have to spend at least $2000 for a new refrigerator it wont be a Samsung unless they offered to work something with us. We bought this refrigerator as the result of the settlement of a complaint I filed with the state Attorney General against Sears for a crappy Amana refrigerator that broke six times in five years. Siri refuses to let us buy an extended warranty Surrey: we put extended warranties on everything we own. And this is one of a dozen of the websites where we will be publishing negative feedback on our horror story with our SAMSUNG refrigerator, which is a piece of crap in our opinion.Samsung Ticket #: **. In Nov the wife and I bought a new fridge from Warners Stellian... The old one was getting a bit worn. So we settled on a Samsung bottom freezer model that has an internal ice maker and filtered water dispenser. We got it delivered, set up, and running no problem. It took about 3 days of running water through the system to get it tasting like decent water to start with. One week to the day after delivery, the water dispenser stopped working. We called Warner Stellian and they scheduled a tech to come out in just over a week. The tech looked at it, couldnt figure out why the part wasnt working the way it should be, and said hed order a new one. A week later we get a call from them and they told us that the part wasnt in and due to Samsung redesigning the part we would be getting a brand new fridge. I scheduled a tech from both Warner Stellian and Samsung to come look at it. The guy from Samsung was supposed to be here before the other guy so I was happy. The morning the tech was supposed to come out from Samsung, he was going to call me before 9 to tell me what time he would be here. At 9:30 I texted them and told them I hadnt gotten a call. SHe texted me back and said she would reach out to him. Three hours later I still hadnt heard anything, so I texted again. She texted me back and said Oh Im sorry. The tech called in sick today and we didnt find out about it till a short time ago. WTF???? Three weeks later we finally get the new one. Before they left after delivering it I made sure it worked the way it should. One week to the day after getting it delivered and set up, the water dispenser stopped working. Turns out the redesign wasnt actually a redesign. The work-around the company put out wasnt done on this particular model. The tech puts in a stopgap to at least allow the water to work until they can get the right part in. A week and a half later, they get the part and schedule the tech to come out. He replaces the part and its working again. The fridge worked great for about 3 weeks until last Sunday. We noticed the freezer wasnt working right, then realized the fridge wasnt cooling either. So the tech comes out yesterday, and says he cant figure out exactly what it is. EIther the compressor or the main board. So they have ordered both parts. The parts will arrive in 3-5 business days and then who knows how long it will take for the tech to come out and actually replace the part. Carissa and my grandson are here this week, they arrived last Thursday. So now what food I was able to save is down in the garage in boxes or our chest freezer. My warranty has a provision that allows us to claim $250 worth of groceries but that is a drop in the bucket. Its daily trips to the store because we dont want to keep anything for too long. The food we would have replaced isnt yet because I dont have a place to put it. Warners Stellian says the company has to ok a return of the item and they said since its a new fridge, they will fix it. Their customer support tells me Im sorry for your inconvenience, I hope it can be fixed very soon, or My apologies for this experience.

We purchased a 3 door, 26 CU.Ft. French door Samsung refrigerator with an indoor water dispenser in November of 2012. Approximately a year and a half after the purchase, our refrigerator started making strange noises and there was water spilling out. We contacted Samsung and later had a technician from Best Buy come out and diagnose the refrigerator. Luckily he was able to repair it - he explained that the refrigerator had to be defrosted as the coils had frozen over. Since then, every five to six months we have had to defrost our refrigerator to keep it working. Ice builds up and the cooling element fails. We now keep a close eye on the fridge. The first time it froze over we lost food. Since then we have moved quick to defrost it before it appears to be running warm. But we do worry about the regular cooling in light of this problem. At bottom, this is not what we expected from our purchase. We bought a brand new refrigerator and have not received the quality we expected.

I have an 8-year-old $2000 brushed aluminum Samsung refrigerator. Recently I noticed that it was not cooling properly so I called Samsung, gave all product info, and was referred to a repair facility (Cyberworld in Norcross, Ga). The Samsung tech who came to diagnose problem informed me that my fridge was too old to fix and that I should just buy a new one. I was charged a $95 diagnostic fee, even though the tech did nothing except open the fridge and tell me it wasnt worth fixing.I called Samsung on 9/1 (more than 3 weeks ago) and have called back every business day since then to get some sort of customer service. Each Samsung rep tells me something different. I ask names and employee numbers, take notes on each conversation, and all calls are supposedly recorded. Yet the Samsung rep who takes my call NEVER knows anything, always tells me that my claim is being escalated, and I will receive a call back from supervisor within 24-48 hours. How many calls have I received during this 3-week period? Zero, zilch, nada... NOT ONE!!! I am done with shoddy Samsung products. I am done with appallingly bad Samsung customer service. I purchased a Samsung Bottom Freezer #RB215LABP in May 2009. Within a year, I noticed underneath the fresh produced bins there was accumulated water underneath both bins and semi-frozen. I cleaned it up and thought nothing of it. Consulted the owners manual but it failed to mention that. I adjusted the temperature but did not notice any other on-going issues.Fall 2013, I noticed the ice maker stopped working and my frozen foods were no longer frozen. Just my luck, I realized my warranty expired 4 months ago. Out of pocket payment to local service guy who informed me that its a manufacturer’s defect. The computer board for the freezer is defective. There are also issues with a loss of freon, compressor is blocked and defrost issue. Despite all of these problems, there is nothing wrong with the ice maker - it just cant make ice due to the other issues. This was my dream refrigerator and Im so disappointed that in less than 5 five years, I must purchase/replace a major appliance. Who has that kind of money? BUYER BEWARE.

If there was a negative star... thats what I give our four year old dishwasher. It worked okay for the first year, then dishes were always cruddy, even if we carefully rinsed them. We were forever cleaning it the filter, which was never actually dirty, but to no avail. Then, we started getting the dreaded OE error. Wed restart, and it would generally go, though wasting the fill water in drought struck California. Then, it would not work, right before New Years. Repairman came out, correctly diagnosed the problem, replaced the electronics board for $380. Four weeks later, OE flashing again. This time it was the water valve. The repairman did the rest as described by Samsung to diagnose it, as he had the previous time -- I watched. Replaced THAT part, for another $320. Worked once, then OE began flashing. To say that I am LIVID would be an understatement. I called Samsung and got the company line that because it was so old... My last dishwasher lasted 22 years. By the way, we also bought a Samsung refrigerator. Within a year the in-door water began leaking inside the fridge and then freezing under the bottom door, effectively gluing it in place. This, like the OE problem, is a well known problem and Samsung refuses to fix it. NEVER again.

This dishwasher dw80j7550ug is a real work of crap. I only saw the reviews too late to see how bad it is. It doesnt clean your dishes. It stinks all the time you open it. Even empty. It doesnt dry your dishes. Samsung says open the door to air dry the dishes. I have to rinse the dishes off extra good. I paid 700 dollars for a dishwasher that I practically have to wash the dishes before I put them in it. Air dry my dishes... I might as well wash them and put them on the counter. Samsung sends repairmen out that say everything is working according to their specs. Dont buy this or any Samsung product. They are the lowest rated dishwashers on the market. I wish they would recall them. Thanks.

Called Samsung technician to repair leaking refrigerator. Every time it went into defrost mode it would leak water, a little when I first purchased it, then much worse. Refrigerator is nearly two yrs old, so is out of warranty. I am a retired Engineer, so did some reading and found the problem to be a smaller than required heat sink (Samsung calls it a drain clip). This heat sink is suppose to keep the defrost drain from frosting up. Took technician 30 minutes to replace this part with the correct size. Per tech, he gets a lot of this work. Here is my problem, should a company like Samsung be charging the consumer for their design flaw? The cost was $173, part cost was $10 dollars.Called Samsung ECR (Executive Customer Rep), explained that this was not a repair or a fix, but a correction to a design flaw. I thought Samsung would want to stand behind their product, but all she would say was that it was out of warranty. The model # RF263BEAESP/AA. There must be thousands of these out there with this known design flaw. I hope this review helps someone if they are looking for a new refrigerator. Needless to say, I wont be buying any Samsung products in near future.

Samsung French Door Refrigerator - I purchased a new Samsung refrigerator in January 2017. I bought a black surface to match my other appliances. I have been seeing scratches on the door surface around the handles and called Samsung today regarding this defect in the paint. I was advised that the damage was not under warranty and would require a service call. The repair company advised that there would be a $110 fee to come look at the damage, Not only that but the only way to repair would be to order new doors. I am pretty sure that the scratches were caused by our fingernails when reaching for the handle. I guess we need to use gloves every time we open the refrigerator! We purchased ALL of our appliances in December of 2015 from a local Rosners in West Palm Beach Florida where we bought all Samsung, w/d, dishwasher, stove, refrigerator and microwave. The ice maker never worked properly and from the first year we had problems. We had build up of ice in the freezer if we put too many items in it and had to use a hair dryer on occasion to defrost it so it would work properly. We chose not to purchase the extended warranty but thought we would have little to no issues in the first few years at least. We chose NOT to install a Samsung brand water filter to save money but realized that was not a good idea. Now we are without ice, water and have spent an extra $200+ on repairman who cant figure out the problem. It is my first major purchase of appliances in my 50 years and I now know I should have listened to recommendations that Samsung has too many problems and they are too expensive to maintain and I should have got GE products. Unfortunately, that isnt the case. If you have any suggestions, we appreciate your input.

We purchased a Samsung dishwasher on 10/30/15. It began failing and showing error codes three weeks after its one year warranty expired. Samsung sent techs out three times, twice with no charge and never fixed the fundamental problem; the machine stopped cleaning dishes. Samsung made exceptions and we did not pay a cent for the service visits, but it was utterly impossible to get the company to simply replace the washer as it was just not functioning any longer. Short fused customer service at best and obviously a product line that is inferior. A class action lawsuit ought to be initiated against the company for anyone who bought a dishwasher that has failed in the past 5 years. An abhorrent experience with a dishwasher that was less than 14 months old.

Got the 5E error code after a month of purchase. Technician came out and fixed it. I should of researched this product before buying. Technician had to come out 3 more times for the exact same error code, half the time not finding anything wrong (of course). Its now 1 month past warranty and does the same thing. I took it apart, checked hoses, cleaned all filters, cleaned the pump and still no dice. It is obviously a common problem with these units and has nothing to do with a kinked drain hose or whatever else they try to say.Easy way to check this: put a few cups of water into the dishwasher prior to starting it. The first thing it does on any wash cycle is drain whatever water is in there. Open it up when it pauses to change to the wash cycle (2 mins or so) and if the water is gone then obviously nothing is wrong with the pump or check valve or hose. It doesnt crap out until after the 1st wash cycle and does this immediately. Circuit board maybe?? I dont know but I do know that Im not taking this B.S. after shelling out $700.Customer service is joke, and after 9 calls and 2 emails, I finally talked with a floor manager. He understands my frustrations and is very sorry and he can set up an appointment to get it serviced which I will have to pay for. I asked him if he knows basic math and if you multiply the average service calls per year to maintain this one of kind Samsung beauty, if it would be worth it to him. He didnt seem to understand this so I walked him through it: 4 x $150 = $600.Ding Ding Ding. Thats right smart guy, I might as well buy a new dishwasher. So he transferred me to customer relations. They agreed to make a one time exception and pay for the repairs. I told him to prepare for one hell of an exceptional bill because Im going to make sure they replace every possible part on this P.O.S.

Our Samsung 26 cu ft french door refrigerator (RF267AERS) is only 4 years old and were shopping for a new one. The coils in the back of the fridge behind the plastic panel freeze up and block the fan. The fan gets louder and louder until we unload the whole thing and take an entire day to defrost it. Sometimes the ice on the coils does melt and then it flows down under the deli drawer and inside the deli drawer because of the frozen up drain hole (also behind the plastic panel). I often have to break up sheets of ice under the deli drawer as well. The seals on the fridge doors are already breaking too! I called Samsung and gave them my model number and told them the problem and they told me to call a certified repair company. From the research Ive done online that will cost me $300 and they will just do what we have done which is to defrost the coils, then it will just happen all over again. Ill never buy another Samsung.

So I basically use it as a sanitizer. Started leaking again, called Samsung, they sent the information to a contractor in town. Contractor ordered parts, 7-10 business days to get the part!!! Are you kidding me??? An emergency plumber could come take care of this today!!!Ive been on the phone with them for hours today, there is nothing they can do to speed up this process. I have already warn dozens of people to stay away from ever purchasing a Samsung. They have an unfair business practice where you can only use their service approved vendor to fix your fridge even when you are out of warrant because no one can get their replacement part. This is not fair business practice I will would hope that the attorney general or even congress is aware of this business practice. I will NEVER NEVER NEVER use my cash for anything Samsung again, I felt betrayed by their deceptive appearance and lousy performance in failing to stand by their product and make good with their consumer. We have a right and that is where we spent our money. Fool me once, that is good enough.

Purchased fridge new in 2015. Beginning in October of 2018 we came home to find the freezer was not staying cool and all the items in the freezer had thawed. Contacted a local company to come out and look which was very hard since no company wants to work on Samsung appliances. They found it was a seal system failure and quoted me $1093.00 to fix the issue I paid the man $100 for the service call. The repairman looked in the manual and found it was under warranty. I contacted Samsung and scheduled service. I waited a week and never got a phone call back to schedule a repairman to come out and look. I called back and was told the request ticket had been dropped and I would have to start over.So I again had to wait 24-48 hours for a call back and email receipt showing proof of purchase and invoice from company stating it was the sealed system failure. I waited yet again for a return phone call and had to call them 72 hours later. They requested one of their warranty technicians needs to come out and diagnose the issue before they took liability and could schedule warranty repairs and I would be responsible to pay the $99 diagnosing fee. I told them I would not pay that again. I had already paid a company to diagnose. Finally after having to be hateful and argumentative they found a company to come out and do repairs. They called me and requested someone to be at the house a week later between the hours of 8am-5pm. I paid someone to be at my house since I had to work. The repairman called me that morning and said he would be at my home between 1-3pm. The person waited at my house and the repairman never showed. When I got home and found out no one had came I called Samsung and they contacted the company. The company said they had sent a repairman out but no one answered the door. Which was a lie. I requested them to send someone out again and was told in order to do that I had to start the entire process over and get a new ticket number. At 6:30 pm an appliance repairman showed up at my house and said he was there to look at my fridge I asked him if he had came earlier and he said no. He was ran behind. So that company lied. The man was very curious when my warranty was up and kept saying I only had 4 months left. He connected the freezer to a system and added Freon to it. He started packing up his equipment and said he was finished. I said, You didn’t fix the problem. It has to have a leak if the Freon leaked out previously. He had no answers and left. I contacted Samsung again and told them the issue, how their repair company only put a band-aid on an issue and never replaced the parts or fixed the problem. Again I had to go through all the hoops only to not get a phone call back. I called them today and was told the reason I was not getting a phone call back is because they do not have a repair company who works under their warranty that can replace a seal system in this fridge. That I would have to find a company willing to fix it, pay them myself and they would issue a refund for my expenses to get it repaired. I asked for that in writing and they refused. I also was told I would be getting a refund for all the food lost but have yet to hear about that either. Do not buy from Samsung. Horrible company. Horrible product.

My microwave, purchased in late 2010 finally started showing the dreaded SE error message about two weeks ago. The device appeared to be getting phantom button presses (fortunately not the start button) and beeping until I pulled the power plug. Tried a few times to clean the flex cable connecting the keypad to the controller card, but now that only makes it functional for a day or two. Was amazed to see that this fragile connection spans 8+ years of production. Seeing that this has happened to so many others, makes me feel lucky that I got this much use out of it.

I am a 73 yo Veteran and have had a dishwasher all my life. This Samsung dishwasher (Model #AA3JAG9MC&05835Y) is the worst I have ever owned starting with the dumb design of the dish racks that make your glasses fall over and dished roll when the rack is pulled out or pushed in. The worst problem is that it does not clean the dishes, I have been embarrassed several times when guests poured a drink and then dumped it when they saw the glass was not clean. I wash the dishes before putting them in the dishwasher and still have to put a lot back in the dishwasher when they come out dirty. Ran the dishwasher twice yesterday and the dishes and glasses still come out dirty. Samsung wants me to spend my money to have their reps come out to fix the problem. Not going to happen, will throw out the Samsung and buy another brand that does what it is supposed to do.Also having problems with my Samsung Grand Prime cell phone. Friends are cursing me for not answering my phone only to find out that the ringer has changed from sound to vibrate or do not disturb WITHOUT my knowledge. Samsung can correct by a simple LOCK function on settings but after numerous calls and requests Samsung did nothing to correct the problem. Solution to my problems: TRASH MY SAMSUNG PRODUCTS AND GET ANOTHER BRAND THAT WORKS.

We purchased a Samsung refrigerator model # RF28HMEDBSR/AA on 4/11/17. Worked great for 14 months and then ice maker stopped working. Of course warranty was out for 2 months when this happened. Had ice maker completely replaced, then 8 months after replacement it stopped working again! This time only the auger motor had to be replaced as no ice would come thru the chute...repairman replaced and till no ice. He had to return this week and had to replace the auger motor again as the one installed last week was broken! This is a total of 4 auger motors on this refrigerator in less than 2 years. For the cost of this appliance we feel this is totally unacceptable. Will never purchase a Samsung refrigerator again!

There are a couple main problems with the refrigerator (Samsung Refrigerato
There are a couple main problems with the refrigerator (Samsung Refrigerator Model RF323TEDBSR/AA):1. There is a design flaw in the upper ice dispenser. When you select cubed ice, the dispenser crushes about 1/3 to 1/2 of the ice cubes. The problem lies in the design of the module. The opening to the ice chute is just too small and/or too close to the crusher mechanism which is just above the ice chute. The auger feeds more ice per given amount of time (seconds) than can fall through the hole to the chute before building up a pile at the hole. As this pile of ice builds up, it eventually begins to feed into the crusher mechanism. This results in about one third to one half of the cubes being crushed. Samsung technical support asked us to empty and reset the ice module but it made no difference. Finally my wife called them and had to escalate to the upper tier of support and they sent a second module but we found no difference in performance.2. The second problem is with the overall quality of the refrigerator. The hinge/pins for the drawer lids broke within the first couple months of ownership. These are little plastic pins, which are about 1/2 the diameter of a pencil, that allow the clear plastic lid to swing open upward when you pull the crisper or meat/cheese drawers out. I fixed them by drilling them out and inserting a wooden dowel rod and securing them with some industrial strength glue. Theyve held for almost a year now like that.3. Finally, the silver finish is flaking off the control/menu panel. This is a cosmetic flaw I understand but for a 1 year old product this is absolutely unacceptable. Samsung refused to do anything for us on this and my wife was adamant that there should be some replacement part shipped but they refused.Overall we are finding out that the refrigerator is just poor quality. We purchased the refrigerator because it had all the features we wanted. The second ice maker in the lower freezer drawer was a big reason we bought it. Now we have to open that drawer and dig out the ice cubes for our drinks if we dont want crushed ice which is all we can get from the front dispenser.I also wanted to make a comment about the water filter. The Aqua Fresh filters that are rated to be a match for the Samsung model HAF-CIN are of poor quality. I had a 3-pack of filters and the first filter worked without any issues for many months. Then the indicator light came on telling me it was time to replace the filter. The second and 3 filters from that pack leaked water into the drawer just below the filter. I ultimately had to replace them with the Samsung filter. This is not a Samsung complaint, but rather for information so others know my experience with the off-brand filters.
