Purchased a Samsung Dishwasher that never dried the dishes properly but failed after 5 years and 1 month, 1 month after the warranty period. Contacted Samsung but did not receive any relief. Purchased a Samsung Electric Stove FTQ353IWUX in May 2012 and registered with Samsung.com. In August 2015, the oven sometimes failed to work. I was able to switch between Convection and Regular mode and sometimes cajoled the oven into working. Received an error code one time, it was E08. Stove will not longer heat up. The LED reads 150 degrees and the appliance does a lot of clicking, but will not heat up.Oven lasted roughly 3 years, 3 months. Was told by Samsung that the glass top only is warrantied for five years, the oven just one year. Could purchase a Samsung warranty but would cost several hundred dollars and the part (control board, etc.) would be warrantied for only one year. Contacted numerous appliance fixing businesses but all, including Sears, wanted $99 just to diagnose what is wrong. Very disappointed in Samsung and will never buy another Samsung appliance. Would like to join others in any ongoing class action lawsuit against Samsung.

Purchased this NE595ROABSR/AA range Jan.22, 2013 at Lowes. The front right burner would cook on high even though it was set on low. Managed to deal with that. Yesterday in the middle of preparing dinner, the range shot fire with a loud explosion. Samsung does not stand behind their products and you would think that a new stove that we paid $900.00 for would last longer than 2 1/2 years.

I bought a Samsung microwave (next to top of the line) and within a year it would not heat. The store I bought it at graciously replaced it. I added money to it and purchased the top of the line one - again a Samsung. In January the door bracket broke and my husband and I spent a day finding the right bracket on the internet. It was a $10 part and after finding schematics on the internet on how to replace it he was able to replace it. Otherwise it would have been at least a $125 repair call. It will be 2 years in July since we purchased this top of the line Samsung microwave and this one is not working. I detected a burning wire smell this morning in my kitchen and could not figure out where it was coming from till I opened my microwave to heat my tea and the light did not come on and the control panel was not lit. Thats when I realized that the burning wire smell was coming from the microwave. Really? Two Samsung microwaves within 3 years. I have sent Samsung an email asking for some kind of financial reimbursement to purchase another microwave because I will never purchase another Samsung microwave. I doubt that a reimbursement is going to happen. But I will keep all of you in the loop.

This is the second French Door Samsung fridge I have bought, and it will be the LAST Samsung product EVER to be in my house. The first french door one was perfect. I purchased model # RF263AEWP from Lowes in Dec. 2011. Bought an extended warranty, that was a waste of $. Cant get anyone to come out. There is only one company in the East Bay of San Francisco that will come out my way for warranty work and they have lots of complaints on Yelp. They must all know the problems and dont want to bother? The water pools at the bottom of the fridge, the icemaker works when it wants, frost buildup on the back wall of fridge, etc. Today the final straw was the horrific fan noise that stops when the doors open, and then resumes when the doors are closed. With open concept kitchens, the noise is extremely annoying. I am going to throw in the towel and get a new one, even though I cant afford it. Too bad there is not a designation for negative stars! I cant get to my receipts - the filing cabinet is stuck closed.

We purchased a new Samsung range just over 1 year ago. We loved it, easy to use and with the removable tray. It seemed like the perfect oven for our needs. I wish I had seen some of these reviews prior to our purchase. I have an error message E-27. The oven shuts down when this message comes up and it struggles to reach temperature. The manual tells us to throw the breaker or pull the plug to reset the oven. We did this and it worked for almost a week, however the problem is back and from the reviews I fear the worst. I thought this was a good product, but Im now wondering what my fate will be.

CAUTION: FIRE: BAD ICE MAKER! Our SAMSUNG Refrigerator has the same ice maker problem everybody else has. We had it repaired once under warranty. After that didnt work, we had it replaced under warranty. Well, replacing the same defective ice maker didnt work either. After contacting Samsung to see if they could help, we were asked to PAY for another ice maker and service visit because our warranty had run out. NOW, today, our ice maker wouldnt stop rotating and was making a lot of noise. When I removed the ice bucket, SMOKE started billowing out! My smoke alarm went off and it smelled like burning plastic. The only way to get it to stop was to UNPLUG the refrigerator.

We purchased a home and went all out and spent over $5,000 for all new stainless appliances package in our kitchen and spent $3,600 on a new washer and dryer. After $8,600 in bills and Within 3 years our fridge won’t make ice anymore. Our dishwasher gets stuck on the delicate cycle, our stove heating element went out, and finally our front load washer leaks and will not take all the detergent or softener down when it runs. I will never and repeat will never, ever buy a Samsung product again. Not a TV, phone, appliance or anything. Samsung USE to be a good brand. But like most brands that cannot keep the quality up with its production Samsung’s best days are behind them. I would sell your stock if you have it. What a garbage company.

When redoing my kitchen, I wanted a counter depth refrigerator but only have a 30+ opening. What I found is that Samsung is the only manufacturer offering this under $2000.00. Yes you can buy a Sub-Zero for $7k or a Liebherr for $4k but you also need over 70 in height which I do not have. I am not the only one in this situation. My sister recently faced the same problem, along with 3 other shoppers in the showroom... Right from the start there were problems; food and beverages freezing in the refrigerator, ice buildup and water in and under the crisper bins, water dripping on the floor, crushed ice chips rather than cubes. Repaired once with a new control they said was a design defect, but out of warranty so you are on your own. Now the ice maker has stopped working entirely, the freezing water is back in the fridge and on the floor and the ice cream is melting in the freezer. My friend also has this unit in white. She has the paint peeling off the handles, the same freezing/dripping water problems and ice maker problems. Not everyone has a huge kitchen where they have many choices for counter depth machines. Why are manufacturers ignoring this market? I understand the small kitchen accounts for 30% of homes and apartments in the USA. I am waiting for the repairman once again today... This Samsung is a piece of garbage! Dont buy it. Wish I had the $ for the subzero... but then again Subzero would be a better investment if I have to buy this Samsung crap every few years...

4 1/2 weeks ago I called Samsung customer service because my refrigerator had stopped working. It leaked water all over my floors. In the morning when we noticed my new kitchen cabinets had been damaged from the water. However, I did not even bring that issue up. All I wanted was my 3 year old appliance fixed since it was still under warranty. I was promised $100.00 to cover the cost of lost food items, still has yet to arrive. After two weeks I asked to speak to a supervisor and he offered $150 for a mini fridge that will fit cold cut meats, cheese, drinks/water and a gallon of milk. They have told me that the part has been ordered but that is all I really get. NO ONE has fixed the real issue!!! We were eating out 3 times a day because I could not hold any food. We are a family of 6 (4 children under 7 years of age) and my husband has kidney disease, so he is not suppose to eat junk!!! DO NOT BUY SAMSUNG!!! THEY DO NOT TAKE CARE OF THEIR CUSTOMERS. I recommend Whirlpool. They helped me out with so much with my previous appliances.

Samsung refrigerator (RF4267HARS) with middle drawer and then the bottom freezer compartment has been excellent and I am coming up to the five year mark owning it. The only frustration with the appliance is dispensing ice. When the glass is placed up against the paddle and pressed towards the fridge you can hear the ice auger turning but no ice is coming down the ice chute into your glass. Odd you would think. Then I would open up the fridge double doors and absolutely every time I would be greeted by ice cubes falling down all over the fridge ledge and all over my kitchen floor. No matter how many times I have told Samsung operators that the problem is the size of the ice cubes. The ice cubes get jammed up in the ice chute preventing other ice cubes from falling down the chute into the homeowners glass. A family member purchased an identical fridge six months ago and guess what the ice cubes are half the size. No issues ever with their fridge. A technician replaced the ice cube machine a week ago and the exact same sized ice cubes are being made and the jamming still occurs. This morning I opened up the fridge doors and ice started dropping out of the fridge onto my kitchen floor again. Warranty runs out at the end of 2018 and I cannot wait to sell this fridge. I will no longer purchase a fridge with a ice dispenser.

I bought a new Samsung fridge 5 years ago. The first day I had it, it would not cool. I called the store and they came the very next day and sent me a brand new in the box. It worked for awhile. However, the freezer never seemed to cool cold enough to freeze ice cream as well as pools of water under my cheese drawer in the fridge section. After many service calls and many repairs I just learned to deal with the issue. On year 5 my fridge completely died. I am extremely disappointed with my fridge and will never buy from Samsung again.

This Samsung Ref. RSA1NTIS 19.4 CU FT we bought 9/30/2012 at SM Appliance Center NE-The Block broke down even before it reached 1 year. Defrosting in a day or 2 after its plugged in. It has been out of order since Oct 2013 up to this day. Countless of frozen goods spoiled every time the service technician plugs it & claims the parts are good. Parts replaced, repaired repeatedly, technician even asked us to buy gadget to guard power fluctuations but to no avail. Been servicing the unit for almost 7 months & technicians says its functioning okay. I bought a ref/freezer. But its not freezing even when set to power freeze.Lost track of the countless times we called up the Service Center, Samsung main office & SM Appliance NE-The Block, not to mention my personal appearances to personally lodge my complaints, but until now Samsung Ref. remains a trash. The floodings in our floor after sometime every time it is plugged, the money put to waste for spoiled foods, the days I have to go on leave or the days my nephew have to absent himself from school waiting for the technician to come, the emotional stress this ref. had brought the entire family esp. to me & my husband abroad who had been helping me to call Samsung, these among other things brought nightmare to our otherwise peaceful living. No functional ref. for 7 months & counting...

We bought our entire appliance set through Trail appliances. Nothing wrong with the excellent service we received at time of sale. Installed the units in our new kitchen. At 11 months the dishwasher dumped large amounts of water on the floor during wash cycle. Finally got a technician to come and look at it. Samsungs support for him over the phone was pathetic. Between him and I we finally figured out the problem lies in a poorly designed tub vapor venting system. I have to regularly remove this silly valve and clean it. Just poor design. Now that the unit is 4 years old the drying fan motor vibrates. I removed it from the machine and tested it on the bench. It is not noisy outside of the machine but whines loudly when reinstalled. Fortunately I am a mechanic by trade and disassembling this machine is not a challenge for me. I sympathize with the consumer who has to wait long periods to get an overpriced repairman to come to the house. Further my wife has complained from day one about the poor cleaning ability of this machine. We will replace it eventually. It will NOT be Samsung.

DO NOT BUY Samsung French Door fridges! I have almost $3000 invested in a fridge that gave little, annoying problems at first, but as soon as the VERY SHORT warranty was up, the ice maker problems got worse and worse... Dripping water out of the ice maker flapper door, slushy ice cubes, ice dams in the ice maker itself, taking 1 minute or so to drop out 3-5 ice cubes, odd noises, not making ice at all... You name it.I tried to get a repairman, but no one returned my calls--then I discovered from several local sellers of the Samsung French door fridges, that there are so many problems with them, that repairmen dont want to repair them at all--knowing they will never solve their clients problems. The repairmen might take the call IF the unit is still on warranty, simply because they know theyll get more and more repair calls--all paid by Samsung. Once the warranty is gone, they dont want to deal with Samsung units.Consider this: I have a new millennium fridge and I make ice the way my Mom did in the 1950s--with ice cube trays! I think these units should be recalled--these are major expenses for a family--just like buying a car that is unsafe or poorly designed--or is an outright Lemon. Samsungs reply to me was a boilerplate letter with links pasted in to their WELL KNOWN repair bulletins... Each one I had already known about and tried! Then they linked to how to get a repair ticket started, but then repeated their warranty rules. Samsung customer satisfaction? Rate that at ZERO. If you know anyone considering one of these Samsung units, steer them away--- SHARE this post. PLEASE SHARE!

I bought this French door Samsung refrigerator cause the one that came with the house I bought had died. After looking at both Home Depot, H. H. Gregg, Lowe’s and Best Buy - I settled on this model RF268ABWP at Lowe’s in white. A little background - I went to culinary institute of America at Greystone and have been a professional chef for over 30 years - I know my way around a kitchen and appliances. This Samsung is the worst - there’s just not hardly any storage room in freezer and it continually ices up to the point the drawer/door is open and water/ ice melts on to the kitchen floor. The door at several places has started to rust, underneath the coolselect crisper drawer in the main body of fridge also continually ices up and the drawer starts to be pushed out. Have to thaw ice jam and remove ice sheet and then dry out fridge bottom and freezer drawer bottom. Complete pain in the **. Called Lowe’s customer service and nothing, also called Samsung and nothing no help. After reading and digging around on internet found that it’s a design flaw and company knew about it but refuses to fix. If I could fit on my boat it would be at the bottom of some lake. Complete junk and a waste of over 1400 bucks - my advice to anyone buying a new or used fridge - stay away from Samsung.

In late 2011 we bought the SMH1816W microwave to match the fridge purchased on the basis of a top rating from a consumer magazine, and the matching stove, dishwasher, washer and dryer at the same time. Not only was the consumer magazine wrong about the fridge, the microwave, dishwasher and washer all have issues or needed repairs. So far (knock on wood) the dryer and range havent broken. The microwave had to be repaired twice for the same problem which ended up costing $50 more than the price we originally paid for it. The fridge was replaced three times before Samsung finally admitted a manufacturing issue that caused the water line to the icemaker to freeze. A new freezer door was eventually installed with the corrected water line. The dishwasher drain pump failed after two years, and the washer is rusting at the bleach dispenser and detergent/softener holder. Once again Samsung claimed no responsibility. We live in a low humidity area (desert) so its not possible that we caused the problem. Not only has it been costly for repairs, but we wasted close to a hundred hours dealing with Samsung. Their support is abysmal, they make it as difficult as possible to even communicate with them - then all you get are stock answers. Requests to escalate to Executive Customer Relations are ignored, or delayed to the point you can do without your broken appliance and end up paying yourself. Samsung is by far the worst company Ive dealt with in 50 years, and as far as major appliances they have the worst quality of any we have ever purchased.Updated 10/22/2016: Of course, now our washer is listed as one of the models that can blow up during the spin cycle, response from Samsung - wash large loads on delicate only. We are taking bets on whether it falls apart from rusting or spinning first! Microwave - dead again - this time we are replacing it with another brand - Samsung quality is non-existent, support is useless. Bottom line, they have sacrificed quality and support for a quick profit, and will lose millions of customers because of this.

I purchased a Samsung refrigerator approximately 3 years ago. The refrigerator started making a loud noise and would stop when the door was opened. The noise would start again when the door was closed. I googled the problem and discovered many other Samsung refrigerators had done the same thing. The solution was to unplug it and defrost the freezer. So I do that about once a month. Now the entire refrigerator has started to freeze up and the ice maker has stopped working. Our Samsung DMR77LHW model that we purchased as part of a kitchen renovatio
Our Samsung DMR77LHW model that we purchased as part of a kitchen renovation some 5 years ago has been a source of frustration for the last 4 years. We had it repaired twice under an extended warranty (thank God!!); the first time just a year after purchase (replaced circuit board) and then again this past winter (entire top rack, door gasket, top rotary washing arm). Between those 2 service calls (and continuing to this day), nothing but poor performance and failing parts: Brittle and broken rack clips, recurring SE error (and now a PE code yesterday!) during normal cycle, cleaned dishes and glasses with odd food particles caked on, very wet items after the drying cycle, etc. We will be replacing this piece of cr*p in the next month because we have endured it long enough. Shame on Samsung for STILL producing such low quality products 5 years after we bought our own. I thought that this manufacturer would improve its appliances based on all this consumer feedback, but apparently Samsung doesnt care about that. So, junk products + poor customer service experience = a company to boycott. Bye bye Samsung. You have lost another client. Not just for dishwashers, but your ENTIRE line of products, I.e., Mobile Devices, TV & Audio, Cameras & Camcorders, PC monitors & Printers, Home Appliances, and Memory/Storage (as per your products list at Samsung.com). You will not get my business again!

We bought a package deal at Best Buy in December 2016 - a Samsung dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave and slide in double oven. In one years time, 3 of the 4 appliances have broken and need expensive parts. However, the gas slide in range is by far the worst product (NX58K9850). After using the self cleaning feature for the first time, the oven over-heated and door locked. We have to pay $400 to replace the control board to get it to work again. This is my second horrible review of Samsung Refrigerators. I purchased a new side by side Samsung Refrigerator one year ago after having an old 28 year old GE Refrigerator that gave me no problems whatsoever. I purchased a 4 year warranty (what a waste of money). So the last time I complained about the scratches on the part where you fill your glass with water and ice and Samsung said that is cosmetic and nothing can be done. I suppose you should be using paper cups to fill your water instead of glass. The refrigerator already looks like it is about 20 years old. This time the large shelf in the middle of the refrigerator cracked for no apparent reason. I contacted Samsung and they again told me that this is not covered (what a surprise). I will never buy anything that has a Samsung name attached to it!!!

The mechanic who attended our call called on us and told us that the thermostat was not working and has to be replaced and that it will okay in a weeks time. We waited patiently for ten days and called the service center. We were told that the spare part has not come. Now, it is beyond three months and our refrigerator is standing and crying helplessly. I bought fridge, stove, microwave, dishwasher from Leons in Canada. The extended warranty has been the best money Ive ever spent - ever. The stove was arcing 220 Volts onto the chassis of the appliance, the top spontaneously (really!) cracked. The burner switch burned out. The ice maker in the fridge has had 5 service calls, drips water on the floor every time you open the door and still ices up regularly. The dishwasher leaves debris on the dishes even though I rinse most food waste off the dishes and they claim it has a food disposal feature. I just had multiple components including the pump and fill module replaced. Dont buy any household appliances by SAMSUNG. They are poorly designed and cheaply made.

Samsung has not fixed this issue and it appears to be affecting a larger number of their refrigerator. I am disappointed in that I thought I was purchasing from a reputable company, but in viewing the number of complaints and the large number of models affect, I will no longer purchase Samsung products!

Weve owned this fridge since 3/29/10. Weve had nothing but problems with it ever since. Every time theres a power failure in our area, the digital panel needs to be reset, which has been a difficult process to accomplish. Last June, our freezer started making loud rattling type noise. I had to have the Defrost Sensor replaced as it was faulty and causing excess ice to build up on the fan in the interior of the freezer. Well, now the freezer is doing the very same thing. I called Samsung again last night expressing my frustration and dissatisfaction with this fridge thats only two years old! Since my unit is out of warranty, they originally told me there was nothing they could do about it. I told them thats what I was told last June when I called with the freezer issue and at that time, I was given a warranty extension and the repair was made free of charge. This time, after insistence on my end, I was offered again a free repair or a refund prorated of my purchase price. I chose the refund since Ive had enough with the issues with this fridge. I paid $899.99 for the fridge on sale from Sears, it was originally $1299.99. I was offered a prorated refund of $719.99, which reflects a 10% depreciation for each year of ownership. I said, I think Samsung should stand behind their product and give me a full refund of my purchase price since this fridge has been brought with issues for the last 2 years. I was told a prorated refund was my best option. I now am waiting for the refund check to come in the mail and then go shopping for another fridge. I will never ever buy any Samsung products again. Once I have my new fridge in place, I then have to cut the power cord off my fridge and mail that and the serial number sticker from the interior of the fridge back to Samsung. Their refrigerators should not be allowed to be sold any where.

My refrigerator is unsafe to rely on due to temperature irregularities caused by a defect in design that is well documented and well known by Samsung. There is already a class action lawsuit ongoing for this defect. I paid good money for a Energy Star, high quality refrigerator which I did not get. I did receive a refrigerator which causes food spoilage, does not do what it is supposed to and requires me to break ice away on a continuous basis. I require refrigerated medication to keep me alive. My disability makes breaking the ice away difficult and laborious. I bought the refrigerator from HHGregg which closed its doors. They came out twice to repair this same defect. I was not aware that the issue was a known defect until recently and I would like Samsung to be held accountable in cost for repairing this defect in their product. Samsung claims to be a company that cares. The Third party of Alorica is creating an atmosphere of deceit. I have asked for a Supervisor regarding this defect and all they send are anonymous emails with no one to contact.

I purchased a French door Samsung refrigerator model # RF28HMEDDBSR/AA a little over 4 years ago. We started to have issues with the ice maker and cooling fan motor about 13 months after we got it. We contacted Samsung and were told that since it was out of warranty...its a 12 month warranty!! That we would be responsible for any repairs. We have now had the same thing fixed 3 times (in 4 years!!!) and it just stopped working again. This time the freezer and climate control drawer also quit working. They are both sitting at around 57-59 degrees Fahrenheit. We have had to throw away thousands of $ worth of food and when I try to contact Samsung, they are saying that there is nothing they can or will do. We have a Facebook group of over 19,000 (yes, that is NOT a typo) of other really unhappy Samsung Refrigerator owners. Seems like all models and all designs! Samsung has been aware that there was a defect in these and refuses to take responsibility. DO NOT BUY ONE, you will love it for about 6-12 months and then hate it for the rest of your life!!!

We bought a Samsung DW7933 series dishwasher in July 2013, at Lowes, and the control panel is malfunctioning now. (5 year warranty on panel) We contacted Lowes first and they said they had about 50% of them come back with same issue which caused Samsung to stop manufacturing until issue was solved, but that we would have to call Samsung to service it since we hadnt purchased extended warranty. Samsung said they have no one in our area to service us, to contact Lowes and they will find someone. Lowes did, and an appt scheduled. Two days later we get a call from service people stating, they dont work on Samsung. Now, Lowes is contacting Samsung and we should receive a call back from Samsung in the next couple of days.

Your new water filter model SAMSUNG REPLACEMENT AQUA-PURE DA29-00003G will NOT work in my refrigerator. The 3rd groove you have added will not screw in. No matter how hard I try to twist it in. No matter how hard a handy man I had to pay try to get it in there. No matter how hard your authorized Samsung repair service tried to twist in there. PLUS THEY WANTED TO CHARGE ME $65 to not do ANYTHING. Is this a marketing tactic for me to buy a new refrigerator? I had spent 2 days talking with your customer service, your parts department, your repair service. I have been told the G series is compatible, just apply more pressure. Enough that I am about to break it is my response? I have been told by your authorized serviceman that I have the wrong part. Then he turns around and says there is only filter that size that Samsung makes. Duh... I have gone to 3 different stores and bought the same filter, getting the same results. (As everyone has Samsung’s revised G series water filter.) I have a working refrigerator with a working water filter housing that will not accept your “new” “G” series water replacement filters. I have to now find the older SAMSUNG REPLACEMENT AQUA-PURE DA29-00003F. Your company needs to address this situation as it is purely ridiculous to have your consumers be subjected to the degree of difficulty that I have had recently trying to pay the way overpriced amount (which I will pay because I love the quality of water it produces). YOU NEED TO REMEDY THIS SITUATION VERY SOON.

In 2015 I purchased a new Samsung electric range, dishwasher, fridge, washer & dryer from HHGREGG. I decided, because it was a large purchase, to opt in for the 5 year warranty on the oven, washer, and fridge which was through WarranTech. During the 4 years we had the oven I needed to be repaired 3 times. All separate issues. The last repair needed was due to the broiler element basically exploding, catching fire, and melting. We called the service plan and they had a repairman come out. He said he would order the new part and someone would contact me to schedule a repair. No one called after a week. I contacted WarranTech and was told they were reimbursing me for the current value minus the repair costs, so like $350. What!!!The washing machine was recalled due to the top becoming loose and possibly detaching. I was reimbursed the full purchase price. The fridge had countless issues with the ice maker which eventually was not repairable. I was reimbursed the current value minus the repair costs. I find it ridiculous that I spent thousands of dollars for appliances that became useless within 2-4 years. My $2000 fridge and $1000 oven are junk and yes I was reimbursed some money but I still paid a lot for essentially a broken appliances. It’s horrible and I would hate for anyone else to have to deal with this headache.

In July 2016, I purchased a Samsung bundle which consisted of a refrigerator Model #RF28HMEDBBC, stove #NX58K3310SB/AA, microwave #ME16K3000AB & dishwasher #DW80J3020UB from Best Buy. I am totally happy with the services that I have received from Best Buy & the Geek Squad, however, I am so dissatisfied with the Samsung appliances. In 7/2018, the ice maker went out (Samsung provides no services!!!). I was told that the ice maker was not properly sealed & the Geek Squad replaced the ice maker. Then 10/2018, brown rust started to form on the bottom corners of the water shoot. The Geek Squad had to replace the entire door. 12/2018, the trim at the base of the oven door (which was glued on) came apart & the Geek Squad had to come back out & reattach it. And now, 12/18/18, as I was cooking dinner & steam was coming from the pot with vegetables (which is a normal thing) in it on the back burn, the stove’s back (oven, timer, & clock is located) started to discolor (my appliances are black!!). So now I have this spot on my stove. I was going to purchase the black Samsung washer & dryer, but after what I’ve experience with the kitchen appliances, there’s no way under the sun I’m going to purchase their washer & dryer. So dissatisfied with my Samsung appliances!

Samsung RB194ACW/XAC - I purchased this stylish, freezer on the bottom, Samsung refrigerator in mid-2010. After two weeks, the digital temperature display panel on the front was showing errors in the shape of the numbers and some bars of color were missing. The fridge seemed to be operating okay, but a year and 2 days after purchase, the refrigerator portion of the device began to stop cooling. The temperature readings on the front were whacky-looking and the inside of the fridge was clearly warm and foods began to spoil. The fridge was on and running, but there was no cooling effect. This started on Thanksgiving weekend, with a large family meal on. The freezer (on the bottom of the unit) was still working. A call to Samsung Canada was very unsatisfactory. I was told, curtly, that the refrigerator was past its warranty and they would not help me. The warranty was two days expired. I called the store that sold it to me. No help there either. I paid a private appliance repair company $340.00 to have the sensor repaired and a new temperature digital panel installed. It took 2.5 months for the parts to come in and three visits by a repairperson. The first two digital panels arrived in the wrong color. Today, less than two weeks following the repair, the fridge is again not cooling. The digital panel says it is 4 degrees in the fridge, but its very warm in the fridge and food has again begun to go off. The freezer still works. I removed the back protective panel and found the fridge coils completely iced up and the tiny plastic fan that is supposed to move air over the coils is encased in ice and inoperable.I guess Ive been dealt a lemon. I will not have this fridge repaired again. After reading many identical complaints on this and other sites, I realized that Samsung has produced a refrigerator system that has known functional defects - which they continue to market and sell to unsuspecting customers like me. Ignoring customer complaints and providing no follow-up or interest in customer satisfaction is the Samsung way when it comes to their flawed refrigerator design. I will never purchase another Samsung product as a result.

Have had a problem with water puddling on the floor for some time now. Our Samsung french door w/ bottom freezer, water/ice in the door is a model #RF26VABPN. It is a 26 cu ft unit. At first it was a pretty nice unit. We started to notice small puddles of water every now and then on the floor. This we thought was just a maverick ice cube had escaped and slid under the fridge. It turns out that ice is building up inside the bottom plastic wall cover, thawing and make a small pond under the two bottom drawers. We contacted Samsung customer service but since it was out of warranty...no help. We are now going to relegate this fridge to the garage and buy a new unit and it will NOT BE A SAMSUNG! It is our opinion that their products are very low quality, poor/non-existent customer service, and just plain junk! Our advice to you is dont be mesmerized by the cool lighting, silver-tongued salesman, or the gadgets. These things are expensive so shop wisely.

How do I start this? First bought Samsung because retailer said it was one of the best made refrigerator. After one year the thermal fuse failed, back panel blew out from frost. No warranty coverage. The tech said they had less than 1% failure rate on their appliances. I had no idea if it was the truth but he had a Samsung shirt on so that means he knows what he is doing, right?Well $327.00 later I had a working refrigerator on top of the $1400.00 I had already paid for it. The ice maker stopped making entire ice cubes. Only crushed ice seems to come out of it. That was OK just wrote it off as high moisture in South Carolina until the bottom of the refrigerator filled with water. I noticed the seal for the double doors was not completely sealed because of a wrinkle in the top of it. Warming it with a real hot towel I worked the wrinkle out of it. That seemed to help. Overall I dont recommend this manufacturer of refrigerators. Based on their lack of support I wont be buying Samsung anything for a long time if ever. I dont believe that I still have the receipt but I can find it being bought at Lowes in Seneca, SC four years ago.

We thought that Samsung would be a reputable manufacturer when we decided to purchase a new stove. What a huge mistake in thinking that was!!! We had the smooth top stove model NE595RO for less than one month. I was cooking on it and my pot became stuck to the element. I could not get it off. So I let it cool down and then was able to remove my pot. (I always wipe my pots off on the bottom before cooking to ensure nothing will cause it to stick to the element area). A piece of the smooth top actually stuck to the pot and came off and made a dime-sized gouge in the smooth top. Was I ever mad. I had a KitchenAid smooth top for over 21 years and it looked as good as the day I had bought it. It was the oven that died in my KitchenAid and being so old we decided to get a new one rather than start to repair the old one. Plus the Samsung was a lot cheaper than many other brands. You only get what you pay for is the correct rule. I phoned Samsung and with the first call was told to send in the pictures and explanation which I did. I was told someone would contact me within 48 hours. One week later after no call, I phoned them back and I had to now deal with a very rude moron on the phone who would not tell me how to contact the supervisors at Samsung. Needless to say I had bought the extended warranty but the cook top should be covered for one year and it was only one month old when this fiasco happened. I did receive an email from Samsung stating it was a cosmetic issue made by the customer and they would not repair it. Samsung will use every excuse under the sun to lay the blame on the customer when in fact they have shoddy products and the most heinous customer service. This was our first and last Samsung purchase. Had we known then what we know now, we would have never bought a Samsung stove. BEWARE of Samsung products.

Model #: RF261BEAEBC/AA (French Door, Freezer on Bottom, NO ice or water dispensers in the door). I have had to call Samsung services and repair four (4) times for my Samsung Refrigerator in the first thirteen (13) months of operation. Every call has been about the ice maker. I escalated this recurring issue to the executive review board (or whatever they call it) stating that I must have a defective refrigerator (or least a defective ice maker). I said they need to address this issue by replacing the whole refrigerator or issue a recall of some parts or something because this is just not acceptable. The response I got back from Samsung is that this is not cause for any special consideration and that normal repair and service should continue. Their response is what really bothers me. I mean I fully understand that if you make thousands of appliances (or cars or whatever), there will be a couple that will be defective. I have no problem with that - just own up to it and resolve the issue for good. I also understand that no matter how much you test sometimes things can be missed. I have had cars recalled for certain issues, you take your car to the dealer, they resolve the issue (no cost to you) and all is good. I mean it is very weird for them to think that four (4) service requests in first thirteen (13) months of operation is not cause for alarm or at least a closer inspection.I actually talked to the last repairman that came out to fix the problem. He said that he sees a lot of repairs on certain models of Samsung Refrigerators that was/is related to frozen water line for the ice makers. So much so that Samsung did a recall and replaced the heating element (or whatever) to keep ice from forming in water line to the ice maker. He said it was a different model than mine and hence no recall for my specific model number.I suspect that this is the issue for me as well, as water is not making it to the ice tray. I could be wrong though and freely admit something else could be the issue. With this type of customer service, it will make me seriously consider any Samsung products in the future. I am not upset so much with an appliance that has issues. Hey, I dont like it and wish otherwise, but the stick-my-head-in-the-sand-and-hope-this-goes-away attitude from Samsung is really bothersome.

I paid over $2K for for a Samsung 3 Door refrigerator from Lowes a little over three years ago long with a high end Samsung Range. The range failed as soon as the warranty expired and was cheaper to junk than to repair, the Refrigerator has been going downhill over he past two years. Do yourself a favor and stay away from any Samsung appliances. They are junk.

We purchased a Samsung side by side refrigerator from sears in greenville ohio. Its not going to be 2 years old until august and it quit working! Called Sears repair and it would have cost us 1,100.00 to fix it! Thats only 300. Less than what we paid for it! Repairman told us Samsung was crap! I believe them!!! I or anybody I know will never buy this brand again! And believe me I have shared this on facebook and everybody else I know has shared this too. Thank for selling crappy products! SE display on control panel - Model SMH9207ST - 2 years and 8 months after installation, the SE display started to appear. Turning power off-on, sometimes would start it going again for only a few days. Unfortunately, this action is not working any longer. Have contacted Samsung and according to them, there are no complaints on this model (I found numerous) and since its over one year old, well have to pay for any repair. Since this is an over the range model, built in my remodeled kitchen, Im stuck with this piece of crap! To make matters worse, we are also experiencing problems with their refrigerator (purchased at the same time as the microwave) and their Smart TV, purchased in July 2012. DEFINITELY NO MORE SAMSUNG PRODUCTS IN MY HOME!

In 2013 purchased a Samsung Side-by-side SS Refrigerator Model RS26TDR from Lowes. Worked good for about 8-9 months; came home & found the temperature in refrigerator was 60+ degrees; lost all food - called repairman to fix it & filed a loss on homeowners insurance [I had a rider to cover refrigerator loss]; worked great for about 7 more months; came home & found the same thing. This time in addition to losing food we lost at least $1,000 in **. Called repairman & filed a loss on insurance--has a $500 limit less $100 deductible so I didnt really get anything for the drug loss. Went & purchased a new Whirlpool French Door to replace it & moved it into laundry room to use for drugs which take up at least 1/4 of the space. Was working ok as far as I knew & last week came home & found the same problem 60+ degrees in refrigerator & around 0 in freezer.Cleaned everything out & called a repairman--will not work on Samsung appliances; called every repairman in our area - no one would come. Was told I would have to call a Nationwide Repair Company & gave me a phone number. When I called the minimum trip & diagnosis would be around $200 - then there would be labor & parts charged for repair. Also could not come for at least a week. I had to have a refrigerator to store ** & other drugs requiring refrigeration. Called insurance & cannot file a 3rd claim on same appliance so Im out another refrigerator of food & hoping it was caught early enough not to damage the **. I went out & spent $250 on a used refrigerator for the drugs. Have been researching online & found out that Samsung knew they had this problem, did not do a recall & ended up getting the class action suit against them cancelled. I will never ever buy anything Samsung again.

Even if the price is higher than average, the quality and convenience add a lot of attractiveness. Microwave parts (like the plate, for example) are replaceable across different models. Samsung microwaves usually don't require reading the documentation - the interface is intuitive. I can make an emphasis the quality: reliability and quality of materials - I never experienced any issues like rusty parts over the long usage, etc. Warranty (even if I never used it) from Samsung adds some confidence in product quality. So far, I had no issues with the products of this company. Highly recommended Samsung microwaves and other kitchenware!

1. Purchased Samsung dishwasher (DW80R2031US/AA, SKU: 6336699) from Best Buy, at Reston, VA on 03/06/2020 with paid installation & haul away, installation kit, and gasket bundle. 2. Delivered on 03/10/2020. 3. Leaking problem being identified and fixed by Samsung service on 10/4/2020 with ticket# **. 4. Leaking issue occurred again in late May, 2021. Samsung offered one time accommodation service to cover labor and parts with ticket# **. 5. Technicians from TWO different service centers stopped by and claimed the fix can’t be done. The reason from the first technician was that the kitchen floor needs to be re-modeled in order to pull the dishwasher out. He also stated that it would take him 2 hours to fix the leaking problem and he had no sufficient time to do the work (which makes no sense?). When I mentioned that there was no issue with the kitchen floor during the instillation process and during the first time Samsung came over to fix the leaking issue on 10/4/2020, the technician had no response and left.6. Another technician from a different service center stopped by about one week later and claimed that the damage is not under Samsung’s manufacturer warranty. In addition, he couldn’t explain what the root cause of leaking was. The cost estimate to fix the leaking problem by the second technician was also outrageous. As a customer, we purchased a Samsung dishwasher, used it for about 6 – 7 months, then started having leaking problems. We tried to get this fixed, but the leaking problem occurred again after about 14 months. Samsung then told the customer to contact the technician directly to get problem fixed, all at the customer’s own cost. I have dishwashers made by other manufacturers at my other properties and they still work great. It is worth noting that some of these non-Samsung dishwashers have been working for 15 years.

I have complained since day one, when this piece of junk was delivered to my house! To begin with, they delivered the wrong fridge from Conns in Baton Rouge LA (named appropriately). I tried to explain to the delivery men that I had ordered a white fridge that matches my kitchen, with nothing black in it! The fridge has never worked! It finally got so hot last week, I had to turn it off and put outside. As everyone online said, I can forget Samsung or Conns help or sympathy in this matter! I will not go out of my way on Facebook and any place anyone will listen to me and expose this factory and Appliance store. They have the worst name is their refrigerators than anyone I have ever of! Now, I can truly understand why! I wish everyone would get together and sign a class action lawsuit against these phonies. They should be closed permanently! I am a widow and Ive on coc sec. income and now I have no refrigerator, Samsung and Conns could care less. When I first bought the fridge 3 yrs ago, I tried to make them replace it and save 6 service trips because it was a lemon, but now I hear that all they have are lemons and they could care less.

This time they tell me IF the repairman deems it unfixable they will take it back. Home Depot has been little help as well because I didnt buy the extended warranty. I purchased a 4 door Samsung refrigerator 18 months ago 01-21-17. The icemaker is defective, per the technician that indicates this is a known issue and not a recall, but basically the water spatters as it fills the ice maker, causing frost to build up, and eventually freezing the fan. This leads to melting of the ice and re-freezing and more frost and eventually locks up the entire ice maker. In some cases the ice builds up so quickly that you cant get the ice drawer out. This is not a gasket or seal issue. The issue is caused by a poorly designed water filling process that eventually fails, so if you want to piss away $2800 buy this RF23J9011SR piece of junk.

We purchased a Samsung RF28HFEDTSR French Door Refrigerator in 7/27/14 from Lowes. The ice maker never dispensed ice properly - slow and partially crushed on cube setting. The bottom Ice maker stopped working after 2 years. The top ice maker stopped working after 3 1/2 years now. It was freezing up - following Youtube advice we have been defrosting the back with a blow dryer for 2 months now. The fan is now making a very loud noise. We will have to call a repairman now. We will not buy anything Samsung again. This has been a disappointment since day one and we have called Samsung year ago to complain but since the warranty has expired they say call a repairman. I bought this refrigerator in the month of Jan and then in June and July the ice maker froze and stopped producing ice. I contacted the help desk and they said as it was in warrranty they will fix and raised a support ticket. Now the service center which they are hooked up gave me a service date of more than a month which means I wont be able to use it for a month. So spoke to them again and they hooked me to another which was supposed to come after 7 days, now I waited for them for 7 days. Stayed at home so that I dont miss them but no-one came to fix. Now I again chatted with support and same thing, We have prioritized your ticket and they will get back. No resolution. Then they give me another date of 13 days from the day I am posting this ticket. So in short Samsung doesnt have any control over their partners. We bought our Samsung fridge with icemaker in 2015 and loved the design for storage. We had several issues with defrosting and the fridge developing ice and the back and freezing food. We started to take a day once a year to defrost it over 24 hours and it worked for a couple years but we called it this year. It froze up again (early this year) and we defrosted it again but it never got back to properly keeping our food cool but not frozen. Our local repair person told us he wouldnt waste our time because hes gone to service Samsung fridges many times and bought new parts but it never helped. When we had our new fridge delivered the delivery person commented that theyve removed mostly Samsung fridges from peoples homes. They look good but not worth it. Ours lasted 6 years! Thats not long for over $2,000.00. Not to mention the environmental impact!

I cant imagine anyone that actually uses a dishwasher designing this one! The racks are awful. The top one will not hold wine glasses or any with a stem without falling over. The bottom wont hold more than 2 bowls, without giving up space for plates. And no way can I put pans in the bottom. They just wont fit. All of those have to be on the top with all of the glasses and cups. No room for both! I have had a bunch of dishwashers, starting in the 60s. Never have I had one that is so poorly designed. From the complaints I have read I guess Im lucky it still works! I am so disappointed but I guess Im stuck with it. To be fair we did buy our second Samsung French door fridge and love it. Two years ago, we bought a Samsung refrigerator and it has been nothing but a money pit. We bought this from Lowes and it is no secret that this product is a piece of junk. Why would they keep selling them? The thermostat went out 31/2 months ago for a price of $300 and another service call a month before that for a price of $100. Well, the thermostat is out again and Samsung said that the thermostat has only a three-month warranty. The only positive thing I can say is that the set up manual tells you what to do so you can throw it away. I am going to cut my losses and buy a new one. Does Samsung made it or has anything to do with it? I have had my last Samsung product in my house.

Good day, I am writing to you today in regards to an ongoing issue that I have been having with my fridge and the lack of customer service I have been receiving from Samsung. My transaction # **. My fridge was bought in 2012 and I have been having major issues with it since 2014. In 2014 I had to replace the main board because it completely shut down. A few months later, it started making loud noises and leaking from the bottom. As I had just spent $1,100 on the fridge in 2012 and another $425 in 2014 including parts and labor, I was hoping these issues were manageable. Recently it has not been cooling properly and I have lost a lot of food. I have been in contact with numerous departments within Samsung in the past couple of weeks and I did manage to get someone have a Samsung-approved company come out and diagnose it at no charge. When the company came out, they determined that the fridge needed 6 parts and the total including labor would be $628. I am extremely frustrated and disappointed with this issue as Samsung is supposed to be of high quality and should stand behind their products. I understand that my product is out of the 1 year warranty but lets be honest, Im looking at having to spend a total of over $1000 in less than 5 years on what is supposed to be a quality product. I am seeking help from Samsung in the cost of fixing my fridge and they all say that there is absolutely nothing they can do for me. I am a loyal Samsung customer with my fridge, washer, TV, Blu-ray and cell phones being Samsung. I am in desperate need of help as soon as possible as I have 2 disabled people that have meds that have to be refrigerated and a 2-year old.

I purchased a Samsung slide in electric range almost 3 weeks ago. Within 10 days, the oven warming burner and clock all stopped working. We had a Samsung tech come out three days later. After testing the unit, he determined that both boards in the unit were bad and needed to be replaced. He left us telling us the parts would be ordered and he would be back about midweek to make the repairs. That evening we decided to use the cooktop on the stove since it was the only thing working. We were making hamburgers in an All clad pan. When we finished cooking I went to wipe the cooktop and that is when I noticed the crack. It ran from front to back on the cooktop. We contacted the tech again and he asked for pictures of the cooktop. We waited a few days and were surprised to hear that Samsung was not going to cover the cooktop. I was quite upset and contacted the company only to be given the runaround. I was told that they could would not authorize the repair even though I explained that we did not dry boil a pan on the cooktop as Samsung alleges we did. To top it all off, now Samsung wont authorize replacements of the boards for the oven. So now we have an 1800.00 range in our kitchen that displays the time set by the technician last Saturday. Range is 5 months old. Will not hold temp that it is set at. Set at 350 inside thermometer shows after oven is open temp drops. I have been told that no more parts can be replaced. Technician replaced all parts already. Company told technician to tell me to figure out what temp I want to bake at and adjust temp to that temp. It starts out at 380 per the technicians meter when stove is set to bake at 350. Last technician told me to cook one tray cookies at a time because when I pilot in 2 trays, that is making temp drop because heat cant circulate properly with 2 trays and that is why heat temp drops. WHAT? I have been baking for 40 years and have ways been able to bake 2 trays at one time. Sure temp will drop a few degrees when you open oven but I have to shut oven off in order to preheat it each time I open the door to get it to come back to the temp I set. I see all these problems people are having with fires and I am scared to death. I want it fixed right or would appreciate if Lowes would give me credit to get a different make. We purchased an investment property in December 2015. The house has only just turned 4 years old in December 2015. It had a new Samsung dishwasher then. Recently my tenant contacted me as it had leaked water. On investigation by our plumber and insurance assessor. The waste hose (the one that takes the hot water away to drain) has become completely brittle and breaks with one slight touch. I also noticed the colour is different from the inlet hose and is a completely different quality. We checked with the past owners and it is the original hose as it was new.Sadly it has caused an estimated 8,000 worth of damage to the timber floor. Because it is a floating timber floor. My insurance company deems it to be a content and has sub-limits of only 2,000 cover. The leak spread from the kitchen to the family room floor. We have to now maybe replace the whole floor throughout the house as we cannot find a timber match. Not sure whether to replace hose at about $80 plus labour or replace dishwasher. We do not have the dishwasher docket as the past owners discarded it. I think Samsung to change the hoses and have a recall on this machine. Very dissatisfied. I think they should just make computers and Samsung phones as they are excellent.

I had a Whirlpool for 11 years and wanted a new stainless steel model. I got this 2 years back from Best Buy. I didnt get the extended warranty because I never used it with my old dishwasher and all money was just gone waste. The Samsung brand proved to be my nightmare. I had to call tech service twice in 1 year. Then again after year for which I paid through my own pocket. The dishes are never clean and top shelf never gets dry. I wash all with a soap, rinse with water then again run the dishwasher. If you put the dish without washing it doesn’t get clean. The material used inside, smells like a rubber and I think my old dishwasher was much sturdier than this WaterWall. Additionally, you have to baby it. The door lock gave up after 1 year, so changed it. Now again and again we keep getting error messages. I am just tired of this washer. I will not recommend anyone to buy.

Bought my Samsung Stainless Steel Gas slide-in range #NX58H9500WS on March 26, 2016. Last week after the holidays on 12/27/17 decided to use the self cleaning oven for very first time (oven was only lightly soiled). I picked the short 2hr cycle since it was the first time using the cleaning feature. About an hour later noticed the display lights were all off and oven was not running. Oven door was locked. The knobs and display panel were hot. Waited for it to cool down for hours. Nothing changed. Luckily the stove top still worked! Called PC Richards for my extended warranty service. A week later the repair tech came and said he has seen this problem many times before and that it is a known design flaw of the range and suggested I clean the stove manually from now on! I couldn’t believe what I was hearing - after spending over $2000.00 on a new range I am supposed to clean it by hand? The tech ordered the 3 hidden thermal fuses and will return to repair when they come in. If that does not unlock the oven door he states it could be that the motherboard was also fried and need to be replaced. Luckily I have an extended warranty but if I attempt to use the self clean again will this happen all over again. I will be contacting Samsung for the answer. I am 60 yrs old and have never had to clean any oven manually before and don’t intend to start now! Apparently this is a known flaw and this product should be recalled by Samsung. I will wait until the tech returns with the parts (hopefully within another 2 weeks) and everything is fixed and then intend to contact Samsung again. This is a major inconvenience, not having an oven for at least 3-4 weeks. I hear the customer service and satisfaction at Samsung is less than adequate but I am relentless and will not accept this situation. I will keep you posted.

Now, the power went off in our neighborhood and when it came back on, the control panel only shows 86 88 and it doesnt respond to touch. The door has started to rust below the ice dispenser due to moisture from the small catch tray. This is not my first Samsung appliance either. I threw away a washer & dryer set I bought that had multiple problems after one year. I too will not purchase any appliances from Samsung. The TVs seem to be working fine. I have two Samsung flat panels. I replaced all of my appliances with Maytag and eliminated all my problems.

Had problems since purchase of not cleaning well and premature stopping since purchase 1 1/2 years ago. Now Smart and normal light on washer on, unit doesnt drain or work at all. Tried reset of power. Called Samsung. Talked with multiple people at Samsung. Waste of time. I also purchased Samsung washer, dryer, refrigerator, and stove. All appliances had multiple problems. Bottom line will never buy Samsung product again.

What a mistake buying Samsung... we already have replaced over range microwave as well as dishwasher and now have my range being looked at tomorrow!!! The oven is making a noise that sounds like a plane taking off! The ice machine in the fridge constantly freezes over and I have to use a blow dryer to defrost it to get ice made... Also it is very difficult talking to the Samsung Reps, they dont seem to have a clue what is going on with their products and I found the one agent very rude actually. I tell everyone I know not to buy this product!

I will never buy another Samsung product again. This dishwasher is our second one; the first one was replaced right away after purchase for not cleaning our dishes. This current one is just as bad, if not worse. Our dishes are never dry. They all need to be dried with a towel since theyre so wet. And the recommended jet dry does not help. The worst part about this product is our dishes are never clean. Samsung has not been the least bit helpful and claims it works just fine. I dont consider dirty dishes acceptable and neither should they. Its unfortunate that so many consumers are unhappy with the product but we are stuck with it. Please do research before you buy appliances!! And a class action lawsuit sounds perfect to me.
