The paint has been peeling off the top and now the bottom of the microwave. I called and they said they havent had that complaint. I dont believe that. That also claimed it was the way I clean it. I only use a soft sponge and mild soap! I would not recommend their appliances. I also purchased a stove but because it was the floor middle they refused to fix the feet that dont adjust at all. The refrigerator I purchased also has no place for the water to go when it soil after use in the door dispenser. I am very unhappy to say the least!

I would never purchase or recommend a Samsung appliance again after our experience with our Samsung refrigerator that we purchased in Fall 2013. After owning the refrigerator for ~9 months, I began to notice water accumulating under the deli drawer. I thought it might just be normal and cleaned it up every month or so. Around 15 months after purchase, I noticed the water accumulating more often and to a greater degree. Water would spill out of the fridge when we opened the doors (sometimes sheets of ice). I called Samsung and the refrigerator was not under warranty any longer.Over a period of the next 9 months, Samsung sent out 3 different repair companies. None of the companies could fix the problem. Water and ice continued to accumulate, spilling all over the floor whenever the fridge was opened. Large amounts of mildew grew due to the moisture. The fridge had to be shop-vacuumed monthly to clean out all of the water. After Samsung telling us that there was nothing else that they could do, we finally purchased a new refrigerator from a different manufacturer. We moved the fridge to our garage and it is now going to have to be hauled away due to the continual growth of mildew due to the water accumulation problem. We are so frustrated that we spent $2000+ on this refrigerator and it cannot even be used in our garage!

Please do not buy a Samsung dishwasher! After 13 years of a plain ordinary
Please do not buy a Samsung dishwasher! After 13 years of a plain ordinary Sears dishwasher, we felt it was time to upgrade and purchase a newer, more efficient dishwasher. Hence, the purchase of the Samsung DMT800RHS dishwasher. Within the first year the pump went - let me tell you that it took over three weeks for Samsung to solve this problem. First excuse: they had no record of the repairman ordering the part. Second excuse: the repairman is sick. Third excuse: they overbooked the repairman. All in all, it was over a month to finish repairs. At this point, I start to think, “Is this going to be a pattern?” Our old Sears dishwasher was still working when we carried it out of the house!Okay, fast forward to two weeks - and guess what? The dishwasher was not working again. I called service and spent over one hour on the phone just to give info and we may be able to get service in a week. They have terrible, terrible service. They are a bunch of idiots, not to mention that you have to take time off of work to be here for repairs. I paid almost $900.00 for a piece of crap! The store where we purchased it, hhgregg, are totally of no use either! My warranty will run out soon and from the look of the other comments on this page, it looks like we may be in trouble! I should have done research before purchasing this dishwasher. If you are purchasing and reading these reviews, I strongly urge you not to purchase Samsung. I am so sorry that I did and I certainly will not in the future!

Had dishwasher 2 years. My contractor handled first 3 service calls in time right after bought. He had family issues as well as me. Washer works intermittently long cycle > 4 hours then stops altogether not to mention water pools in bottom. I usually add bleach when I smell it. So I call because its Xmas and I cannot use washer other than as dish drying rack. Buy extended warranty. Call. Guy comes out. He can get it working, needed part. Comes back, puts new part in. Said normal 4 hr cycle. Mind you washer is 6-8 feet from Insta hot water heater. In California should be banned. No Appliance running water should run this long. Now its Easter and I have a dishwasher that runs hours! On normal cycle sold as energy efficient. Ha! Maybe if you add rage the times it does not work with the long cycle. And this is normal.

Bought a Samsung oven range at Lowes with a rating of 5 stars and had it delivered (I thought it was an extremely great deal at 100 or so dollars below cost). Do not know who is doing the rating? After delivery I followed the directions precisely as my old stove was extremely old and conventional. I turned on the oven as directed and immediately noticed the continual clicking. Like I stated, my old stove was way outdated and thought maybe this was some sort of break in issue. Then the smell was horrible (HORRIBLE). I then opened every window and door and turned on the central air (it was off due to the weather being about 70 or so degrees outside) and put my dogs outside. I did this for hours, about 5 approximately. I then did not feel comfortable cooking with it but went ahead anyways. I put in a pan of buffalo wings. After the cook time I pulled them out and had no intention of eating them due to the ongoing smell, but found them burnt on top and undercooked underneath. I then decided to make a rice dish and turned the left burner on. It got extremely hot and within a minute. I was impressed honestly until I then turned the burner down to 2 to simmer. It stayed extremely hot!!! Glowing red! I then shut the burner off but the surface heat light stayed on and heat was still radiating for at least a half hour after. At this point I was scared of the stove!!! It was no longer clicking but was very hot and lights were still on although all burners had been off for at least 30 minutes. I decided to open the oven door and brought in a box fan and pointed it towards the open door and turned my Air Conditioning down to 68 degrees. I did not even dare to pull the stove out and unplug it as it was still so hot!!! Oven and stove were radiating, and heat surface lights were on although all units were turned off. After an hour or two (left the room) I came back to find the lights off and it still very warm but off. I then called Samsung and never got through! Called Lowes but it was after hours and no results. Now, I then had a family emergency and death in the family. I then tried cooking on the range Friday (got the range on Sunday remember). Long story short I got the same results and saw the 17 pages of Consumer Affairs issues, so I decided to document my issues and take still photos and video. After all this Lowes (my local store) did not hesitate to offer me a replacement stove. I had no problem with that and it was very fair although they would not pull the range from the floor and I demanded they do so! I insisted it was an extreme fire hazard and they did not disagree but did not comply either, so I called corporate. They did not agree either so I told them I would be filing a grievance and possible suit as well as calling the local investigative reporter. It is now a day later and have not been to the store. Again, tired from all this and my family emergency and death. I can only hope these ranges are no longer being sold. I also took still photos and video of the range burning for at least 40 minutes and heat warning lights on without any stove or oven turned on. YES I REPEAT.... THE RANGE WAS BURNING FULLY HOT WITHOUT ANY FEATURE TURNED ON!!! THAT WAS FOR OVER 40 MINUTES! PHOTOS AND VIDEO OF MY RANGE FULLY BURNING WHILE TURNED OFF. DO NOT BUY A SAMSUNG RANGE!!!

My fridge was only just 6 years old purchased in December 2013. It was stored in my shed, switched off, not used from Jan 2018 to Oct 2019 while we renovated. It just stopped working by not getting cold in January 2020 after being back in service for 4 months. I could not get a Samsung service agent to look at it. Finally a fridge mechanic that I found, advised me the fridge has failed to hold the refrigerant gas and even though the compressor was still working fine it cannot be repaired. I called Samsung Australia several l times and also used chat, had to follow up 5 times and despite my case being looked into as it was outside warranty any help or warranty replacement was denied. Reading the ACA website I would class this as a major fault that could not be repaired. Had I have known that there was a chance that a major fault would occur in only 5 years an expensive $2000,00 fridge would be thrown in the rubbish then I would have never purchased this brand. Its possible the pipework with the gas was poor quality material and can breakdown, something that never used to happen. A good quality fridge should last 10-15 years.. It has leaked all the poisonous R5 gas into the ozone layer and my kitchen and Samsung did not care. Samsung only offer a 2 year standard warranty on the new fridge products..So dont expect it to last much longer than that. Good looking fridge to attract you in, but I will never recommend you buy a Samsung fridge. Once bitten twice shy.

I purchased a Samsung microwave (#SMH9187ST) about 2 years ago, and it is now displaying an SE code on the panel. Turning it off and flipping the breaker, as Samsung Support suggested, didnt work at all. The SE code returned. It will cost me $250-$350 to have the display replaced. Based on all the reviews at this website, Samsung should step up and recall this model. My previous GE SpaceSaver model lasted many many years before it finally stopped working. Two years is unacceptable. I hope my new Samsung refrigerator lasts longer than 2 years.

On 8/29/16 we purchased the 25 cu ft French Door with External Water & Ice Dispenser, Model Number: RF263BEAESG/AA Refrigerator in the Black Stainless finish. Delivered 9/3/16. We purchased this high end very pricey fridge, a high end matching gas range and dishwasher so we spent a pretty decent amount of money. The set was ordered from a local appliance store and was NOT a scratch & dent product. While from a distance the fridge looks fantastic, dont look too close. Under the factory packaging (plastic protective packaging & cardboard was not damaged at all) there were numerous scratches and a small dent in the upper left door. I would expect a new expensive appliance such as this would not arrive in this condition. The appliance store is closing and unable to order a new refrigerator or even just a new door. I dont need an entire new fridge, just an undamaged door.Samsung feels it is our problem and refused to do anything about it. While waiting on hold the recorded message spoke of their commitment to customer service. Well we didnt get that, in fact just the opposite. Interesting is that we really like Samsung and have always promoted their products. This is the first issue weve had and they failed us. I would not recommend this product due to how fragile it seems to be and Samsung will not make it right. I have a beautiful new kitchen with very nice high end Samsung appliances, except for the scratched and dented fridge. Is this really what I waited for all these years? Extremely disappointed. How hard would it be to replace my door? Any other appliance store would have sent it back to Samsung and requested a replacement from Samsung. Why cant Samsung just do that for me?Thanks alot Samsung. Also, I submitted this same review on Samsungs site and guess what? They wont post it.

Purchased my Samsung French door fridge from Lowes in June 2014. Immediately noticed that ice comes out very slow. After a year the ice stopped coming out at all. Could not figure out how to get the ice maker opened up so called Samsung. They told me to change out the water filter ($60) and that would fix it. I assured him the one year old water filter was not the problem but he guaranteed me it would fix the problem. Of course it did not. Because you know you are going to be on hold with them forever I waited several months to call again. Now the door flap on the left side door has had a spring broken and does not close properly. Called again they finally agreed to send someone out to look at it. Need a new door flap ($80) and when I described the ice problem the tech says oh yeah, I have fixed lots of those. Samsung knows about the problem. It costs $200 in parts. What?? I called to argue that they should pay for the parts. Getting the runaround and not getting anywhere. Worst $2000 ever spent! Never again will I buy a Samsung product.

We purchased a Samsung French Door Refrigerator/Freezer almost 3 years ago
We purchased a Samsung French Door Refrigerator/Freezer almost 3 years ago from PC Richard & Son. We have replaced the shelves which line the doors at least 6 times. They are of the absolute poorest quality and are usable for barely 6 months before breaking. Samsung has ZERO to say about this, and offers nothing to the consumer in terms of compensation. We have spent over $250 on new shelves. This is apparently quite a common problem as the shelves are back-ordered and we are now living with one empty door. Aside from this, the ice maker is on its 3rd breakdown. This is another common issue with Samsung. There is a video on Youtube about how to try fixing it at home with 100,000 views - as my husband says, its hard to imagine that people are watching this for entertainment. Apparently the ice builds up in the back of the fridge and is then hit by a fan, causing an incredibly loud, constant noise. We have had this repaired twice by PC Richard, the last time was just a couple of weeks ago. Samsung refuses to acknowledge that their product is defective, and offered us parts if we would pay their service department for the repair. Funny that their same defective parts have failed to fix the problem twice already. My refrigerator is now empty while my husband attempts to blow dry the back of it to get the ice to melt. Samsung is producing complete and utter garbage. They have no respect for their customers and do not stand behind their products. I will NEVER purchase another Samsung item and intend to warn anyone who wants too.

My elderly mother bought a Samsung refrigerator, microwave and stove and they worked well for at least the first year. Since then, the handles on both the microwave and freezer door of the refrigerator have both broken off (my mother is in her 70s and not very strong) and it has cost her literally hundreds of dollars to have servicemen come and fix them because the warranty was no longer valid. She has spent more money trying to fix them than they were worth when she bought them!!! She is now having trouble with her stove, a stove which offers a divider so that one doesnt have to heat up the entire stove just a small portion of it (given that she is generally only cooking for herself). Well, guess what, the stove blew and the only way to get it to work is to remove the divider (the very reason she bought that stove) and Samsung will do nothing about it. These are products that should last AT LEAST ten years before any problems occur. Worst customer service, worst products. Worst of all, I recommended them to my elderly mother! So infuriated!

The doors to my Samsung refrigerator are supposed to be stainless steel, but they are rusting. I have cleaned the stainless using mild soap, hot water to clear gunk, then wipe and apply a high quality stainless polish. I started seeing the rust a couple of months ago and have been cleaning them up. Although I am cleaning them, the rust is now starting to pit. This refrigerator is only 15 months old! I bought through Sears including the warranty, but they are saying rust is not covered as it is a cosmetic item. I called Samsung and they immediately said there was nothing they would do as this is a cosmetic item. If this were steel or if I had been scrubbing the front with steel wool, etc., I could understand their stance, but this has been well cared for. By the way, did I say this was our second refrigerator in one year?! The first one died within a month, three days before Thanksgiving! Sears says theyd send a tech in two weeks! The local Sears store sent a new fridge out the next day, but we lost $400 worth of food and although we bought the extra protection for spoiled food from Sears, they would not cover the food as a tech did not look at the refrigerator first! So, next with our new refrigerator, we have had two icemakers and still have lots of problems with it! I would not recommend this refrigerator to anyone! Neither Sears nor Samsung would do anything for me regarding this issue. So my $1200, 13-month-old investment from Sears is now rusting in my climate-controlled home! I do not recommend either Sears or Samsung as they have lied about the material this refrigerator is made from.

Purchased these 4 items rfg297hdrs refrigerator, smh21175 microwave combo, ne595riabsr oven, dw80f600uts dishwasher. Purchased in December 2013. 2 repairs under warranty on dishwasher and still does not work good. Over the oven microwave is in the garbage after burning bacon which burned out the panel. Paid a repair service for call and was quoted 480.00 for repair. 30 days after 1-year warranty. Oven element went out after 20 months and was told by Samsung it was covered. They sent a repair guy out and the part was not on warranty. I paid the service call and called to order the element and was told if the bottom did not work in my dual oven then it was the controller panel. I have been so disappointed in Samsung appliances. Purchased Samsung refrigerator Model# RS554NRUASL/TC June 2013 from SM North Appliance. 1st month of using this unit is good, my electric bill went down but on the 2nd month (July 2013) refrigerator stopped cooling. Called Samsung. They gave me instructions to reset cooling by unplugging the unit for at least 30 seconds then replug it. Ive tried 5 times the whole day. It didnt work. Called Samsung. They referred me to their authorized Home Service Center. The technicians came the next day, they check the unit. They said that there was a leak, so they told me that theyre going to order the parts needed. After 4 days they came back to fixed the leak. After 3 hours looking for the leak, they said that the leak was inside the unit. They cant fix it. Theyre going to forward the problem to Samsung. So Samsung contacted me, they ask me to go to our dealer for the replacement of my unit. The 2nd new unit delivered (August 2013), it last 10 months. The same problem with the 1st unit happened again. So they replace it again, the 3rd unit delivered (July 2014). After 6 months of using the 3rd unit the same problem occurred again. Same procedure with the 1st, 2nd and 3rd unit was made. Then 4th unit with the same model delivered (February 2015). Last October 2015, there it goes again. The technician came, fixed it, after 3 days it broke again. They fixed it again. After 3 weeks it broke again. I really had enough with this unit. So disappointed...

I purchased my Samsung dishwasher in 2014 from Conns. It was the one with the bar that moves forwards and backwards. The first one started showing an error within 2 days. Samsung sent someone out to look at it and he couldnt repair it. Samsung replaced it with another dishwasher. This one lasted six months before I had my first error issue. It had to do with the pump. The repair guy fixed it and it ran for another six months then had the same error. The repair guy fixed it. Now I have a new error 7E and my repair guy is concerned. The bar has no blockage and the error is still there so now he is having to replace the motor and such. I wish I had known that these dishwashers were so crappy. I wasnt warned by my salesperson, he was just wanting to make a sale. Next time, which I feel will be sooner rather than later I am going to get a different brand. Buyer, beware and do research! Pretty doesnt necessarily make it a great product!

We built a house in 2016. Went with the Samsung new black stainless steel appliances. We have had nothing but problems with the Refrigerator model# RF260BEAESR. The door clips keep breaking, you can’t get in and out of the freezer part and the MOST frustrating is the ICE MAKER! I have spent no less than 15 hrs trying to fix it. It was out of warranty two weeks and got nothing from Samsung. I am going to share something I have learned: Always ask how much the extended warranty is, if it’s almost half as much as the original cost of the thing you are purchasing STAY AWAY!!! I figured this out after having bought 3 dishwashers and two refrigerators. Case in point current refrigerator (Samsung french door) warranty was $756.00 I paid $1,600.00 for it new and have had nothing but problems. Oven was $350 for warranty new it was $1,700. We have had 0 problems with it. Microhood $35.00 new $350.00 0 problems... I strongly recommend you stay away from Samsung appliances. They make a great TV maybe phone but thats it.

I purchased a new Samsung refrigerator for my wife for her birthday. Without pulling out the paperwork I think it was in November of 2008. Purchased at Lowes. Had a repairman come out to fix it twice within the first year. It was icing up and sounded like a food processor inside due to ice build up around the fan. The coils were solid ice and the drain was frozen. There was water underneath the platter drawer and so much it would leak out and across the floor. Well seven years later Im still going through the same things. As I write this at 1:48 in the morning I cant sleep due to the noise the fan is making due to ice buildup. This is ** for what I paid. Ive found out about a class action lawsuit against Samsung but cant find any info on how to join. I cant afford a new fridge right now so Im stuck until the lawsuit is settled I guess.

I purchased. Samsung refrigerator in 2017, and had to have it repaired three times, finally gutting all cooling apparatus and replacing it to make it work. Even so, I purchased a Samsung range in 2018 on the advice of my local repairman. This stove was two weeks old when the black stainless steel coating began to peel away from the door of the stove after being cared for as the directions indicated: soft cloth and water. Home Depot and Samsung claim that this is not a mechanical issue and therefore not covered in any way. Then, a few months later, in November 2018, the cooking grates began to shed flakes of coating, right near my food, and rising was occurring and visible. They replaced them after a few months (March, 2019) more and several calls. My one year warranty was up in May 2019, the new cooking grates began peeling and flaking again in August. After much talking and being patient but firm, they have agreed to send me new grates, but why bother? They will peel again in a few months! I am so frustrated, how is this company allowed to make substandard appliances that are a danger to people and not even held accountable? I am really concerned about this flaking coating so near my food. I really want this stove out of my kitchen!

The part would not be received by Samsung until November 6 making it even longer to be fixed. They would receive it then send it to the parts company here on Oahu. Well, being that we have a party on October 31st, my husband ordered the $111.00 inverter on his own and paid extra to have the part rushed over. We will receive the inverter on Tuesday, 10/21 and the maintenance person will come on Wednesday to fix our refrigerator. We owned a GE for 11 years with absolutely no problem prior to buying this one. Obviously we made the worst decision to buy what we thought was the top of the line! Jokes on us! We will never again buy Samsung again! Crossing my fingers that it gets fixed.

We purchased a Samsung French door refrigerator in 2012 for a kitchen renovation at a cost of approximately $2200.00. My husband found a puddle of water one morning and after resetting the computer several times, the freezer was starting to melt items and the fridge section was 65 degrees. Everything was thrown away and a repairman was called. Two local repairman refused to work on a Samsung product. I had to call a Samsung certified repairman. While cleaning out the freezer I found this little light looking item with wires coming out of each side, it was no bigger than my little finger. When the certified technician got there, I immediately showed him the part that I found in the freezer drawer. He said, I cant fix this refrigerator. The part that fell off was from the top of the freezer ceiling inside the pull out drawer and it was dislodged from the wiring harness that was UP inside the fridge and there was no way to fix it. I asked how much I owed him and he said $75.00. I paid it but 75.00 for less than a 5 minute visit was terrible. Anyway, he left his card and I told him I didnt need it, because I would NEVER have another Samsung appliance. This is a design flaw with Samsung that they could easily fix and unfortunately its on all Samsung refrigerators. We asked our local repairman what he would recommend and he said GE, LG or Whirlpool. We looked at Lowes and all Samsung products had the little item on the top of the freezer ceiling so that if something bumps it, the fridge cannot be fixed. Our Whirlpool has the same item on the back wall of the freezer so that NOTHING can bump it. Losing a 2200.00 6 year old fridge is terrible... customer service was terrible and knowing the problem with the fridge and not fixing it tells me that Samsung is only interested in making money on the sales and ensuring that their refrigerators dont last. Poor design... poor appliances. Samsung stick to phones please.

I have had issues with my four-door refrigerator the last 6 weeks. We had noticed the frozen foods werent quite as frozen as they should be and then the ice maker stopped dumping ice. I had noticed previously that the ice in the holder always froze against the right-hand side of the bucket and would stop dispensing ice. I then noticed the ice maker would fill with water and would produce ice but never dumped it. I hit the reset button and it worked perfectly. It never would begin normal ice production on its own, and I had to continually hit the reset button for ice to be dumped ever two hours. Now, the freezer has become the fridge! No ice now and all of the food in that portion are thawed, just water in the ice tray that never freezes. I called the helpdesk (almost said it with a straight face) and they could do nothing except send a serviceman to repair the unit at my cost. I asked if they would guarantee their work and she said that they could only try and fix it. I told her to me try was not a guarantee of it being fixed. I asked if they would stand behind the work of their suggested contractors and she said again, they would try and fix it.I am anxiously awaiting a call from the repairman to see the cost of him driving to my house and the estimated charges he thinks he will have. I will ask him if HE stands behind his work since Samsung won’t. If it goes as it has with all of the other customers on this site, I will NOT be buying a new refrigerator from Samsung, and I will contact Lowe’s and tell them of my displeasure with one of their distributors.

We spent big dollars on this fridge and expected quality. We are a couple and have not put a lot of use on this fridge. At exactly 5 years, we started hearing a grinding fan noise in the back of the fridge. It got worse over the next week. Called a 5 star appliance repair company to come and take a look. We found out the problem is the evaporative cooling fan for the fridge. It is going to be a $350.00 repair. The repairman was very knowledgeable about the unit. He told us that Samsung refrigerators keep him employed. He also told us that we were the lucky ones having the refrigerator for 5 years with no other problems. He was a wealth of information, all of it bad for the longevity and costs that we could expect in the future. We decided to repair it and hope for the best. Repairman brought the new part back a week later. Unwrapped the bubble wrap to have a piece of plastic go flying. Part was broken and could not be used. He apologized and said that he would have to reorder and he could not guarantee that it would last even one year. We then decided to rethink our decision. After reading literally thousands of online reviews, we decided to cut our losses and run. Used our Labor Day weekend to seek out and purchase a new Made in America refrigerator. Money we had not intended on spending but glad to be out from under the Samsung brand. We have to wait for our new refrigerator and the fan noise is so loud now after 2 1/2 weeks that we can hardly hear one another to converse in our kitchen/family great room. Our daughter has been having problems with her ice maker on her Samsung from one year on, constant problem and royal pain. No fix in sight for hers either. One would think that Samsung would get a clue and improve their product but NO that is not what is happening. They knowingly continue to sell faulty and substandard products. We will tell everyone we know to walk away before they even consider a Samsung fridge. We wish someone had told us... If I could have given a worse star selection than 1, I would have... Save yourself a lot of grief and money~~DON’T BUY A SAMSUNG REFRIGERATOR.

This Samsung Range model (NE63T8711SG/AA) was purchased in February. Loaded with features as well as the oven compartment having an air fryer and dehydrator. 3 weeks after we purchased the $2000.00 range my wife decided to use the Air Fryer to make wings. The fan in the oven blew grease all over the oven coating the entire enamel surface with grease and the entire house was engulfed in smoke. Took us three days to clean off the caked on grease. Needless to say we will never use the Air Fry feature again. A few days later we tried to make a spaghetti dish. Not wanting to have caked on mess on the bottom we put aluminum in the oven. The oven melted the aluminum and is fused to the enamel surface of the oven. We have tried everything to get it off. Needless to say after calling Samsung, they will not help us with this issue at all. The Range is only 3 months old and the oven has been used a total of three times and they wont help us. Besides this problem we have found that the burner knobs are so touchy that barely bumping them or leaning against the oven slightly will turn the burners on. The burners protrude past the range. Very dangerous! Beware of this oven!

A month later again, and another month came. We turned the ice maker off because too loud of noise. Called service center, said they have 2 places to call. One in PA and the other also same distance in MD. We live in MD. Even though we turned ice maker off noise continued. We called someone local and came out next day. Said the seal and ice maker were the problem & ice getting stuck. After $98 for service call it started all over again. Called our local company again. They said Samsung has a 3 week back order for the parts. Hmmm the next visit to fix with labor & parts $325. I just dealt with Samsung with their washing machine recall 3 or 4 months ago. Now this.

Very good fridge/freezer except that it has expensive water filters and since purchase, the water was not draining properly and evaporating in the drip pan. Water turns to ice until it fills up toward the front of the fridge and then overflows out the front and onto the kitchen floor. Samsung seems to accept no responsibility for this very common flaw with the side by side fridge with bottom drawer freezer. All over Youtube but requires disassembling back portion of fridge to fix drain clogging. Not sure if it is a final fix for the problem.

POTENTIAL SAFETY HAZARD: Samsung dw80f600uts Dishwasher - This has been the worst appliance experience ever. Dishwasher worked fine for about the first 18 months. Then, on occasion, it would give an error code (Smart Auto and Heavy would flash). If we stopped and restarted it, it would usually run through the cycle. We are a family of only 2 adults, so we are not hard on it, nor do we run it more than 1 to 2 times per week due to handwashing some dishes (as the dishwasher cycle is VERY LONG... like 3 hours)! This morning the dishwasher stopped and gave error message, I tried to stop and restart. No luck. Then, while I had the door open, it started on its own!! (ID CALL THIS A SAFETY HAZARD). With all the complaints about this unit, I would think that Samsung would do a recall, or an optional recall, so at least those with issues can get unit corrected on Samsungs dime. We are choosing not to pay to have it fixed, as the reviews show that most have had to have fixed multiple times. Would rather buy a different brand than invest more in this faulty model.

They gave suggestions over the phone and told me to wait 24 hrs to see if it worked. It didnt. I was then given a different number to schedule the repair. I waited a week for parts and a tech to come. We went on vacation and came back and found out that the problem was not resolved. I called customer service again on Aug 6th and a resolution specialist contacted the tech and they told me they will contact me the next day to schedule a repair. Aug 9th, no phone call from them. Once again, I called them and now they advise to start the whole process of ordering parts and scheduling the tech to come in who knows when. What a sour experience this has been.

Purchased Samsung FTQ307 in 2012, extended warranty. After 3 years of wonderful use it burns out the inverter and power control board. Contacted Lowes for warranty and they stipulate its out of warranty. I make the purchase to replace burned out cards. It worked for 4 days and burns out in the same fashion. Contacted Lowes again to verify warranty information and then it was under warranty when it originally broke but is not anymore. Contacted Samsung. The glass-top and internals under the glass-top are cover under a 5 year parts warranty. They honored said warranty and added in the labor too since it originally failed under the extended warranty. Technician came out to repair but did not have all the parts. They were on back order. Samsung placed paperwork in to reimburse cost of parts that I installed and began the process of doing a buy back. A few days later Samsung said they never said they were going to reimburse parts cost and that they were would never offer a buy back. Repair guy came out and repaired the stove. 2 hours later it burned out again. Samsung and the repair company have a 30 day labor and 60 day parts warranty. Samsung has now voided all warranty to everything. All my major appliances are Samsung. I will be selling them all with a different company and will not ever own a Samsung device again. In the whole process of dealing with Samsung, they would say and/or offer one thing and the next day take it back or say it never happened. And with the actual repair company Samsung stated that the technician said it was because it was repaired by my hand that I caused the issue, when in fact they did not say that.

I have bought 3 major appliances from Samsung and I must say Im sorry I did so. My refrigerator had 3 problems the 1st year and 30 days after the fix, it died again only to hear Samsung say, Too bad, so sad. My washing machine just after warranty died. Too bad, so sad. And now my $2,000 60 Plasma after 2 years went bad. Too bad, so sad. I have literally wasted hours and hours on the phone with the support groups and the customer satisfaction groups. The best that they offered was a one-time visit for parts only by the tech to repair the problem. So, if I get a new tech or one that doesnt care and a 2nd visit is necessary, I pay for the labor and parts on the visit. Again, I pay labor and diagnosis the 1st visit they pay for parts, but when asked if the tech needs to come back, will they pay for parts? Their reply is, You can call us and we will see. Translation: Screw you. I have spent over $5,000 in the last 3 years with them and I wont ever buy another SAMSUNG PRODUCT again. EVER! General Motors did the same thing to me at 42K miles when the head gasket let loose and blew the motor on my car. I now own Toyotas & Hondas. Koreans build crap as do the Chinese. If you want quality, stick to Sony, Hitachi, or Toshiba. I am now on a campaign to spread the word about Samsungs quality issues. $5,000 gone for 3 products that were crap within the warranty period or just after. Beware America. Dont ever buy any Korean-made products at all. That includes Hyundai/Kia. This was a Samsung Plasma TV model # PN60E7000FFXZA.

I just got a brand new Samsung DW80K7050US dishwasher which retails for $950. To install it, the electricity must be connected (easy) and the output line has to be connected (easy) and the supply line has to be connected (easy). But.. when I turn the water on, I can hear a high pressure leak but see no water coming from anywhere. After a few minutes, a puddle of water comes from under the machine. There isnt a drop of water IN the machine. That means that when the machine was put together, there is a leaky seal or missing washer someplace... And I have to uninstall the machine, turn it upside down and play surgeon for a few hours trying to fix this damned leak. That is ridiculous.Even worse, I have done searches on this, and that problem is not uncommon. Typically it is fixed by the install, but in this case, I installed it. Why should I pay someone $150 to connect 3 wires and two hoses? Its no more complicated than attaching a garden hose. Obviously they dont test their products for leaks before shipping them out.

I really want to share my bad experience with Samsung Microwave Model ME18H
I really want to share my bad experience with Samsung Microwave Model ME18H704SFS/AC. I wish I would google Samsung microwaves before buying one. I just read report from people who bought microwave in February 2016. I bought mine on May 2, 2016 from Best buy in Vancouver Canada. I also bought 5 years warranty on this microwave. On 28th day after purchasing we tried to warm up bowl of soup (in microwavable dish), and we felt a burning smell coming from microwave. When I opened the door I discovered a fire on the right wall of microwave. I was able to stop the fire with kitchen towel. I cannot operate this microwave any longer because it is a fire hazard in my house.Same day I called to SAMSUNG customer service. They gave a case number and told me that somebody will contact me. Next day I called them again and they transferred me to some kind escalation department. The manager from escalation department said that if he will get pictures and receipt from me now, he will speed up the process. I emailed him pics and have not heard anything after that. On Monday, I called again to customer service. The manager told me that she could not find me in her database, she also said that they were not able to open up my pictures. I told her to transfer me to the escalation department. After 30 min wait I was able to talk to a guy who confirmed receiving pictures. He also was able to open them up. He told me that he sent my case to the Head office. I asked him why nobody sent me a simple email with acknowledgement of receiving my email. He did not have any answer for me. I asked him what is the reasonable time to get an answer from Head office. At the beginning he said 48 hours and then he did not know. He also said that he has no idea what kind outcome I should expect. And just to add to this story... I called to the insurance provider for Best Buy. They told me that they cannot touch my microwave because it is a factory defect which appeared in first 30 days. I am not even upset anymore. This company is a joke. Samsung really needs to get a lesson for producing dangerous and unreliable appliances and treating consumers so poorly. I will wait for 48 hours (legally you have to give them some time to rectify the situation). If Samsung will not replace their lousy microwave I will take this matter to Small Claim Court and I really want to.

Updated on 06/16/2019: Well, hello folks! It’s been a couple of years since I last posted. Still the same old fridge complaints. The repair guy has been here at least 4 more times since 2017. Same repairs, circuit boards, etc. THIS time he said Non-Repairable! But it’s ok, the company said they would send a check for 800 dollars. Seems they subtract the prior repairs from your purchase price!! How clever!! Which means the extended warranty is a joke! Hey!! Guess what! I paid a lot more than $800! I now am so sick of Samsung, that I will never, never again be so foolish. Btw the Samsung microwave has been just as bad. This has got to stop. These companies are not concerned about longevity, just sales. I’m ashamed of them.Original Review: Well, fridge is blowing the circuit breaker again. 2nd time in less than 2 yrs. Took 2 mos. the first time to get it fixed, wonder how long this time? H. H. Gregg in Cincinnati is now out of business, although they wasnt much help in the first place, and ext. warranty is dragging their feet again. All brand new appliances after we got our new house, fridge, stove, dishwasher, microwave, washer, etc. controls on the stove never have worked right. Anything below 3 on the burners may work, may not. I wish I just had a fridge that cooled, let alone the icemaker working. Supposedly a couple circuit boards went bad the 1st time, and its doing the same thing this time. So we are patiently waiting for a serviceman to call back, meantime living out of a couple of coolers. BUYING SAMSUNG WAS WITHOUT A DOUBT the BIGGEST MISTAKE OF OUR LIVES!!! A little more than 2 years ago, I bought a Samsung refrigerator (Model RFG295ARRS) at Lowes. This refrigerator has been leaking from day one since. Due to the fact that my house and business were under construction, my appliances from Lowes were not delivered until 9 or 10 months later, and besides this situation, I was not able to occupy my house and business until the City of Lansing granted me permission to occupy. It took about another 3 or four months for me to do that. Due to the fact that my residence and business are in the same building, I ended paying about $2600 for my refrigerator (I do not recall very well, but I still have my receipt). When Samsung technicians came to my house on June 30th, 2012 and July 21, 2012, they told me that my refrigerator is not repairable. I am trying to get back my $328.94 that they charged me to repair it the first time (June 30th). This refrigerator came defective from the manufacturer, that is what one of the technicians told me the first time and he said that the manufacturer knows that but they had kept quiet due to a recall or that they have to recall all the refrigerators. At the same time, this technician told me that he was aware of the problem and that they had fixed before, but they did not do that with mine and that is why I want my money back. Because they lied to me. Samsung is bad, bad product, bad reputation. I will ask my children to put this in Facebook and everywhere so people are aware of this problem. Now I know there are hundreds of complaints.

In June 2015 we bought a new 2016 Fleetwood Bounder RV that had a Samsung french door residential refrigerator! We started having trouble with the fridge part getting to 50-60 degrees but the freezer remained at -2 11 months later! Samsung said it went out of warranty in March 2016, probably when it was installed in the RV! NOT when we took possession! They sent a repairman out and he claimed he fixed it but a few months later we had same issue! They gave us a list of authorized repair businesses in our area. We have to take it back to Camping World where we purchased it so they can pull it out from the cabinet it is in. One business Samsung recommended wont work on one in an RV, another showed up before we were back from our trip and before the date we had the appointment set for!! Cannot get them to answer the phone and never return our call! The other was set up to be at Camping World last Thursday at 9 AM and the corporate office called at 6:30 Wednesday night and cancelled because they closed that location! Samsung will not stand behind the crappy refrigerators they make! Why is anyone still selling this crap? Fleetwood says it is a Samsung warranty problem, Samsung says it is out of warranty although they never resolved the issue when it was under warranty and none of the authorized service centers will work on Samsung!! Camping World is no help! And our Good Sam extended warranty says it was a pre-existing problem! We are tired of living out of a cooler when we camp! We are frustrated that no one will claim responsibility for crappy merchandise! Fed up! I cant add pictures or any information because our RV is at Camping World waiting for a solution!

My question is the following, how can you introduce a new technology in the US market without prior testing it? Why do you want me to pay $4,000 for a technology that doesnt work? Your credibility is at stake as well as your after sales service. Your supervisor didnt even deign to call us back despite our several calls. If this the way you are treating your new customers? I have always bought LG product & I wanted to shift to Samsung! I do regret my choice & I miss deeply the courteous & most efficient after sales service of LG. In short if I have no echo back from you within a week time, I will return your fridge back to Best Buy.

Only had Samsung stove for 1 year an stopped working. Wish I would have listened to my guy when I decided to switch all of my appliances out to Samsung. Purchased the Samsung 5.9 cu. ft. So we will see how this plays out when the technician shows up.

Bought the French door with freezer at the bottom. Ill keep this short and to the point. Replaced the top ice maker 6 times and replaced lower ice maker 2 times. Top ice maker stopped working 2 times within a couple of weeks of being replaced. Thank God for buying extended warranty. Called Samsung twice directly and they brushed me off and seemed not to care about issues they have with their ice makers. Referred me back to warranty company. Not sure what we will do when warranty expires. Do not buy this refrigerator. You will be disappointed and if you do make the poor decision to buy Samsung refrigerator buy extended warranty.

I purchased a beautiful black stainless steel French door refrigerator from Lowe’s 2 years ago. Now it has a system leak due to sulfur in the air and can’t be fixed. Samsung said it was damage and I did not take the precautions to protect it. The only thing I could have done is not use water in my home. I had two different repairmen out. They both said this is a common problem with Samsung refrigerators. Samsung and Lowe’s know this is a problem but do not advise buyers with well water to beware. Samsung customer service towed the company line and said it was my fault and took no responsibility for cheap parts. My last refrigerator lasted over 15 years sitting in the same spot. Not a Samsung of course.

Purchased 1.5hp split inverter aircon from Emcor Davao City May 5 2018. Unit worked fine for about 5-6 months then started short cycling. Mystic Electronics Service Center Davao was contacted by customer service to be assumed warranty repair provider. Person came out said Lindsey too short so had to pay P6000 To have that fixed. Unit continued to short cycle. Came out again said outdoor motherboard AND compressor overload were both bad...then outdoor blower motor was bad. They replaced all of those items. I have years of AC experience and told the KID that is not the problem. He leaves unit still short cycling so I finally called Manila again and told them MY diagnosis. After further discussion between themselves they agreed to send same KID out to replace the indoor thermistor. The KID damaged my casings on inside unit. Now unit is acting up again with about 3 weeks remaining on warranty. I told them they need to send someone else out as I had banned Mystic from coming inside the property again since he has really no idea what he is doing and no respect for someone elses property....I.e. Indoor portion of the Samsung a.c. NEVER EVER BUY SAMSUNG AIRCON products....unless youre rich and dont mind just throwing your money out the door. Learned my lesson on Samsung. Never again buy their a.c. products.

Purchased a Samsung Family Hub refrigerator and a Flex Wash washer and dryer 8 months ago. Since then have had the refrigerator ice maker freeze up about every 2 weeks. The fridge has been repaired with ice maker replaced 4 times. Now the washing machine has an error code that Samsung cannot find anyone to fix. Samsung does not offer refunds even though their appliances are junk but does offer replacements. (Oh yay) Samsung guaranteed delivery/replacement in 10 days. This is day 12 with no communication from Samsung. Many hours spent on the phone with Samsung, 4 service trips for the ice maker and now a guaranteed time frame on a replacement that did not happen. I am a contractor who has installed over 100 dishwashers. This is the worst installation design I have ever seen. The hot water & drain connections are at the left rear corner of the D/W. The hot water supply line requires a 90 degree fitting (which is NOT supplied). The water supply connection is 3 above the floor & 4 from the left side. The water connection fitting on the D/W is PLASTIC. You have to buy a 90 degree fitting (brass), then remove the BRASS connector nut & replace it with the PLASTIC nut provided with D/W. When you connect the water supply line to the 90 degree fitting, it has to bend at a 90 degree angle to fit in the cabinet opening. The Drain hose is also connected at the rear left hand corner. You are warned to not overtighten the 90 degree fitting (PLASTIC) or it can cause a leak. THEN, it tells you to slide the D/W into the cabinet opening & be careful not to kink the water & drain hoses. It is such an idiotic design that the instructions actually say, Get a SECOND or THIRD person to help you if this is necessary. Once installed you have no way of seeing if the water or drain hoses are leaking, until it is too late. Three days later water was dripping from my basement ceiling, due to water connection leaking and ruining my bamboo kitchen floor. For 46 years I have installed D/Ws with the connections right in front behind the base panel. An easy connection for one man/woman and you can readily observe if you have any leaks. Samsung should stick to TVs.

We purchased the Samsung Dishwasher Model DW80K505US last fall. We had the service techs here to check on it as the dishes were coming out with food stuck on them no matter what we did. We did everything the tech said to avoid this problem and it didnt change a thing. Two weeks ago we received the replacement machine that Samsung sent but it has exactly the same problem. As far as we are concerned this is a design flaw. The rinse cycle is not working properly as the dishes come out dirtier than when they were put in.According to the last service tech who was here 2 DAYS AGO, it is caused by the companies trying to go greener with the machines. What use are they if they do not do what they are supposed to. I am currently using both the detergent and rinse agent they recommended and now I also am supposed to buy another product - Finish dishwasher booster. I have an issue with the chemicals as they cause me health problems so I am assuming that we bought an expensive floor ornament and will have to go back to washing dishes by hand.

I purchased my Samsung French Door Refrigerator for Home Depot September 2014. It was running fine until I noticed paint bubbling on the edge of the door. I contacted Samsung September 2015 - it was several days before the anniversary of the refrigerator delivery date. I advised the door with the ice dispenser paint is bubbling along the edge. I sent photos. Samsung declared it cosmetic damage. I was not satisfied. They said to have a tech come out and inspect. Budget Appliance came out and said, yes the door was defective. They suggested a replacement of the unit as they believed it was not sound. Samsung refused. I contacted Better Business Bureau. After BBB contacted Samsung they agreed to pay for replacement parts and I the cost of labor. Another technician came out on March 1, 2016 and said yes the door needed to be replaced. I received a new door on March 16 and I refused it because it was black. I have spent countless hours trying to resolve this issue and Samsung could have resolved the issue promptly with either a new refrigerator or door. Now according to the parts department it may take up to 8 weeks to get the replacement door in white. It will be May 2016 before this is even close to being taken care of. Samsung expects me to pay almost $300 in labor because of the faulty design. Do not buy Samsung appliances. Their customer service is rude and their service company they use is in Bogota, Columbia. They took over 4 days to track the wrong part that was ordered.

I bought this fridge in 2014 and one for my parents shortly after. For the first 2 years they both worked great. The last 2 years not so much. My parents unit ice machine has been replaced twice due to it freezing up and not working. I fortunately have not had that problem with the ice machine. The freezer and middle drawer of the fridge work great and maintain temperature without issue. The main section of the refrigerator does a very poor job of keep food cold. I discovered the fan that is supposed to circulate the air was not working. Samsung wanting to charge some crazy amount of money just to come troubleshoot it so I tore it apart myself. In the back of the fridge the cooling coil was frozen over and caused the fan to burn out. After thawing the fridge and replacing the fan it worked for a few months but subsequently froze again. Replacing this fan every few months seem very silly and now I regularly have to tear the fridge apart and thaw the coil to ensure it doesn’t burn out the motor. The last 6 months I have noticed that even when the fan is working the fridge does not stay cold anymore. The door reads 34 degrees but in the fridge it is anywhere from 40 to 60 degrees and any given time. It is a shame that 2 refrigerators that cost nearly $3000 dont work after less than 4 years. I will never buy a Samsung refrigerator again. Both units are nothing but JUNK now!!! Now we have to decide if we want to continue to throw items away when it decides it doesn’t want to keep food cold or buy another $3000 fridge. Very disappointed.

The oven has never worked well (convection or not), same batch of cookies but one tray might be done but 8 min later next is burnt or rare, hotter one side of even to other. Now the oven isnt working at all. In the short time since we bought these we are so unhappy, we cant believe how poor the quality is. Even the fridge, with the stainless steel. They may make good TVs but their refrigerators leave a lot to be desired. Our unit is a double front door with bottom freezer. The unit was over $2000 and worked good until the warranty went out. The first problem was the panel where the water/ice dispenses. That unit went out and was quite expensive to get repaired. Since then, the ice maker has quit and now the front of the unit is rusting and looks terrible. See the best effort photo. People come into our house and when they go in the kitchen they ask about the Samsung refrigerator. Then they take one look at the rust on the front and quickly change the subject. I will never buy another and feel like I paid too much for an inferior product.

Theyre pieces of junk. Im so mad, retailers should not sell Samsung refrigerators. I have a GE fridge in my garage, bought it 25 years ago, for $400.00. Still works perfect. I bought a new refrigerator from Home Depot on June 22, 2016 (receipt attached). It was delivered on July 7, 2016. First the two front doors were not even. After numerous phone calls to home depot and Samsung the problem was partially corrected. After about a week of installation the unit shutdown by itself. Unplugging and re plugging it seemed to fix the problem and it started working again. We were away for a weekend and the unit shutdown and internal fridge and freezer temperature went to 80 F. All the food was spoiled.Again after numerous calls to Samsung and home depot a technician came and said the unit was overheating because of internal leaks of the coolant. He said he was going to report the problem to Samsung and I need to wait for Samsung for their decision if they want to replace the unit or send parts to repair the unit. This was on the 18th of August. We still do not have a resolution to the problem. My calls get transferred from one place to another and dropped many times. Very dissatisfied with their response. I do not have a working refrigerator after spending close to $3000 and both companies do not consider that I deserve a quick resolution to this issue. + I have been without a refrigerator for more than a week now during these hot summer days, but the response from these big companies is very disappointing to say the least.

We replaced all of our kitchen appliances (Refrigerator, dishwasher, gas range, microwave) with Samsung appliances in Dec 2016. We reviewed the CR book and thought we picked a good one. Should have looked on here first. The ice maker froze up on Christmas Eve and then again in mid-January. We bought the 28 cu ft french door with bottom freezer. The ice maker is inside the refrigerator. The water leaks down behind the ice bucket and freezes around the mechanisms. It wont dispense ice and makes a loud knocking noise. The ice bucket is also nearly impossible to get out when this happens. We called Samsung for support and all 3 (yes 3) calls were handled horribly. They dont support their products or have a care in the world about providing customer service. The only way to resolve the issue... remove everything from the freezer and refrigerator and defrost it. This appears to be an ongoing issue and I am not looking forward to owning this refrigerator for the years I expected to. I understand appliances sometimes have issues and my 1-star rating of the appliance is largely geared towards the awful customer service provided by Samsung. This is an expensive item that I ensured had a warranty when I purchased it. I expect it to work and if it doesnt work properly and is under warranty I expect it to be repaired. Buyer beware.

Samsung has a design flaw and all of their 7933 model dishwashers. They refuse to acknowledge that there is a problem. The top basket and spray arm assembly inserts into the bank of the dishwasher to get water. The rubber washer rubs against a hard plastic jet. It rubs until it’s worn out. The basket will push away from the nozzle and the water will not ever get to the spray arm. Hundreds of thousands of units are designed to fail and consumers will think they are not using the right detergent or rinse aid or some suchlike thing. The glasses on the top rack do not get clean because no water sprays to wash them. Samsung refuses to even admit there may be a problem. I know, Ive spent 4 hours on the phone.

We bought this appliance knowing it would be great. We have many Samsung items and like the quality. But we are disappointed that this happened. We are struggling with life as it is my husband was diagnosed with Arachnoiditis in 2014 and had to go on disability. In June 2016 he had a brain stem stroke and I had to quit work to care for him 24/7. So coming up with the money to repair this while leaving off of disability will be rough. Our over the range stainless steel MWO was installed professionally on 12/28/12. On March 2, 2015 the little plastic piece inside the stainless steel handle (now theres construction for you) to which the handle is attached to the door cracked and fell out. The small 50 cent piece cannot be purchased of course, a full handle assembly to the tune of $56 is required for this fix. No sooner does the handle arrive in the mail, that the hook-clasp spring inside the door stops functioning and now the door wont even stay shut. This model has the electronics in the door, so replacement is about half the cost of the microwave.A phone call to Samsung this morning (3/18/2015) yielded nothing but frustration. I feel like I am a pretty good Samsung customer with the Samsung Range, Samsung Refrigerator, Samsung 10 tablet, 2 Samsung smart phones and 2 Samsung Smart TVs (40 & 50) and 2 Samsung DVD Players. I would think that level of customer would command a certain amount of loyalty from the company. After climbing up to the 1st level of supervisor, my frustration wouldnt allow me chase it further, since they both did the same search for recalls or problems and essentially used the same word tracks. So now I walk the walk of how much to spend on repairs: The MWO is available at Lowes for $449. Installation/delivery is $125. Repairs: $56 for the new handle; $75 Repairman Trip; a new door costs $200. Refrigerator: The door shelf has had to be replaced to the tune of $80. Samsung looks pretty but seems to lack good construction and durability. I never had any issues with any of my GE appliances; nor those that we sold when I was in remodel construction. Guess Ill go back to GE.

Worst product we ever purchased. Still under warranty, 3 years old, ice maker went out during the holidays, one month later freezer went out. Called Samsung they asked for all our paperwork and purchase receipt. I sent it all and the response was that it was not clear enough to read. They suggested I call repair. Did not tell me it had to be a repair service that was contracted with them. Closest one is 1 1/2 hours away. I called local and while he was at our house he called Samsung Tech service and was told it was our compressor and that it was still under warranty. Serviceman did not fix as his company is not contracted with them so they would not get paid. Said he would fix it if I paid the $650.00 up front and worked with Samsung to be reimbursed. I called Samsung they told me they would not reimburse because it was not their contracted serviceman. They contacted their serviceman and he canceled on me saying his guy had the flu, but he sent in a report stating it was not the compressor. How he knew that without coming and looking at it Ill never understand. Samsung refused to pay or help in any way. The only good thing was I called Lowes and told them I was returning it talked with manager of store. He was amazing. Told me to go online and pick out a new fridge and they would replace it. Which they did. With a brand new FRIGIDAIRE! We will never buy Samsung appliance again!!

I am following up on my last post on this appliance. I was promised a callback yesterday in regards to my freezer not working in my 7-month-old Samsung (4-door). I called today and was told by Alicia at Samsungs executive customer relations line that they will not honor my request for reimbursement for the food I lost. She said because the freezer started freezing again, there is nothing wrong with it and it doesnt need a service call. She said that if they sent someone to service it, they would have reimbursed me for the food. I told her to send someone as appliances are not self-healing and there has to be a problem for this to happen in the first place and I am afraid to put anything else in the freezer. She told me I must have pushed a button, such as the child lock button for this to have happened. I have never touched this panel. It is exactly as it was when it was installed. I also wonder why if the child lock button had been pushed, would all the food thaw out? She said they could do nothing for me. No service call, no reimbursement.

RFG237AARS purchases 2/2013. I have a Samsung Range and Dishwasher and havent had any issues with those appliances, but this refrigerator is definitely a lemon. There are quite a few Youtubers out there showing the icing problem. They are chiseling ice blocks off the fridge. The fridge starts making an annoying sound which happens to be the twin cooling fan system hitting the ice. Thats not right. Its disappointing that Samsung is not addressing the issue. I have been able to care for mine periodically and unthaw it from time to time, but its definitely a feature Samsung isnt being upfront about. I’m sure at some point the fan will break because of the issue. I can only imagine what expenses they would try to push onto the consumer(me), and given the age of the refrigerator it isnt worth a $500 repair bill. It doesnt sound like people are having much luck with repair(s) either. Some report multiple repairs yet they still have a dud afterwards.

Our fridge is 1 1/2 years old. The ice maker is not working (slushy cubes with unit freezing up). We did not buy the extended warranty, unfortunately, but it sounds like Samsung service is not great, even for those who do. Researched the issue and found that even by replacing the unit, it is likely to have the problem recur because it is a design flaw. Samsung will not guarantee the $500 repair with a new part will solve the problem beyond 90 days. We will not buy another Samsung product.

I purchased a Samsung dishwasher to match the rest of the appliances. After less than 2 years, and minimal use --- we are only at the house 4 months out of the year-- the control panel went out. Its under warranty BUT we have to pay for labor. After looking at reviews, it sounds like 50% of the control panels go out. I think the company should reimburse the cost of labor or, Im in for a class action suit!

Junk Fridge - Six months old, starts making noise, a serviceman comes out didnt hear it. This happened 3 times. On the 4th time, the serviceman wants to charge me for service call even if it still under warranty, the reason being 4 calls and he didnt hear anything and this is something Samsung agrees with. I told them both there to get off. It is still making noise loud enough to wake me. Now, it just started another noise freezing up. I would not buy another Samsung refrigerator. PS: I paid 2,500 bucks for.

This review doesn’t even deserve a star. I wish you could give 0 stars. I will never buy anything Samsung again due to my experience with this fridge. Barely 3 years old and paying over $3k for the model... The refrigerator portion froze up and no longer worked. They sent theirs Samsung repair person to fix it. Said he took care of it and a one week later... It froze up and no longer worked. It is a giant piece of garbage. Now after calling them to get help they said they don’t have a repair person to help us. We now have to pay almost $600 to repair this fridge that is less than 3 years old and the parts are coming from China and are on back order. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE.

I have purchased this product (AR24HV5NBWKNNA) from Samsung Dealer in May 2014 and from the date of purchase Im not satisfied with the product. Installation of A/C was not proper as it took 12 hours by your engineer. Then in next year 2015 the A/C was not performing and called Samsung and executive visited and directly filled gas in warranty without inspecting the reason of leakage, and gradually after 3 months again cooling decreased. Also water leakage from indoor unit started immediately after refilling and now in current season when unit was started there was no cooling and when engineer visited on 1st call he immediately order a gas refilling without inspecting the reason for leakage. And so the second complaint was lodged and then that engineer inspected the actual reason for regular gas leakage i.e. leakage found in cooling coil which was the only reason for 1st time non cooling, which should have been searched and rectified in 2015 when the gas was refilled the first time. We were given an only option to replace to new cooling coil at our cost whereas I feel problem shouldnt have arised in the 1st year of purchase which I feel was not expected from the world leader brand like Samsung. Right now I and my Family uses Samsung brand TV, AC, refrigerator, phones, washing machine, microwave. Also further we have to install new units at my Factory and 2 Houses but now after experiencing such problem within a year I feel I should rethink over that. Also during water leakage from indoor unit my Indoor Wooden cabinet along with printer and mobiles were damaged. If you wish to see the leakage I have shot a video of it. Also, a suggestion. This kind of malfunction directly hits your Brand Reputation that how Samsung deals with its product Malfunctioning. I strongly request you to please look into this matter on priority as the season has started and there is a need to run the Air Conditioner. So replace the defective part or replace the whole unit.

Our new Samsung appliances were installed in mid February. I immediately noticed that my WaterWall dishwasher was hard to load. Prongs are short and awkward. Glasses fall over. It didnt wash dishes as well as my $500 old Whirlpool. I paid almost a grand for this one in hopes of some kind of dish washing miracle. Now it has a leak one month later. Glad I have tile flooring instead of wood. I have called Lowe’s to see what to do. Havent heard back yet. From reading other reviews, it looks like I am not fooling with this, yet I am going to return all my Samsung appliances. My mother told me to buy Whirlpool. I should have listened.

Doesnt even deserve ONE star!!! GARBAGE!!! I dont know how Samsung has not had a class action case filed against them after reading HUNDREDS of complaints about their dishwashers. Every reviewer has the same complaint about various models, UNBEARABLE, DISGUSTING ODOR!!... And SAMSUNG customer service does nothing!!! Oh, wait, they do offer suggestions on how to CLEAN their dishwashers with TANG!!! Yes, *** clean the disgusting odor in the brand new dishwasher with an orange flavored drink mix!!! *** WHAT??? The odor is unbearable and dishes are cleaner when I put them in the dishwasher than they are when I take them out!!! Shame on Samsung for this disgraceful product and lack of concern for their trusting consumers. They should have stuck to making televisions!!! NEVER make the mistake of purchasing a Samsung dishwasher.

Our new puppy likes to counter surf and has turned on the knobs several times but even before that we have done it ourselves by bumping into them. The most recent time caused a small fire. I am very upset. There are Zero safety devices that will fit this design knob. My only option is to remove the knobs when not cooking and its hard to get the whole family to comply with that. This product (Slide in electric range model NE58F9500SS) should be recalled. I cant believe there have been so many reports of this and there is no fix and Samsung has done nothing.
